    Chrysler recalls 165,000 model year 2019-2021 Ram ProMasters

    The vehicle may not fully engage in the Park gear

    Chrysler is recalling 165,503 model year 2019-2021 Ram ProMasters with a 62TE transmission.

    The park pawl may not fully engage the Park gear due to debris inside the transmission.

    A partially engaged park pawl can result in a vehicle rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

    What to do

    Dealers will update the powertrain control module software, and inspect and replace -- as necessary -- the transmission or components within the transmission free of charge.

    Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 16, 2023.

    The product may contain milk and walnuts, allergens not declared on the label

    Bakkavor USA is recalling Trader Joe’s Genova Pesto (SKU# 15759).

    The product may contain milk and walnuts, allergens not declared on the label.

    No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to date.

    The recalled product, with a UPC of 0015 7353 on the side label and Use By Date of 05/27/2023 with a time stamp between 06:28 – 07:07 printed on the bottom of the tub, was sold at Trader Joe’s stores from April 28 -- 30, 2023 in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia and Washington.

    What to do

    Customers with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk or walnut who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but discard or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.

    Land Rover is recalling 12,587 model year 2022-2023 Range Rover and model year 2023 Rover Sport vehicles.

    The second-row seat armrest storage compartment latch may fail, allowing the objects from within to be unsecured in a crash.

    The unsecured objects from within the armrest compartment may strike the vehicle occupants in a crash, increasing their risk of injury.

    What to do

    Dealers will replace the locking arm of the second-row armrest storage compartment free of charge.

    Letters notifying owners of the recall are expected to be mailed June 30, 2023.

      Polaris recalls 19,000 MATRYX RMK KHAOS and PRO snowmobiles

      The brake system can overheat, posing a fire hazard and risk of burn injuries

      Polaris Industries of Medina, Minn., is recalling about 19,440 model year 2022-2023 MATRYX RMK KHAOS and PRO snowmobiles sold in the U.S., and Canada.

      When the rider engages the throttle and brake (including the parking brake) simultaneously, the brake system can overheat in the caliper/pad/brake rotor area, posing a fire hazard and risk of burn injuries to the rider.

      The firm has received 164 reports of the brake system overheating, including 22 reports of fires.

      This recall involves Polaris model year 2022-2023 MATRYX RMK KHAOS and PRO snowmobiles sold in black and custom color combinations.

      “POLARIS” or “KHAOS” is stamped on the front side paneling of the vehicles. The VIN and Model Number are located on the right side of the vehicle's frame.

      The snowmobiles, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at Polaris dealers nationwide from January 2021, through November 2022, for between $13,300 and $22,000.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled snowmobiles and contact Polaris or an authorized Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair.

      The dealer will conduct a check of the snowmobile braking system and install a software update.

      Polaris is notifying all dealers and registered owners directly.

      Nissan recalls 4,200 model year 2023 Titans and Frontiers

      The vehicles' tires may have a tear in the inner bead

      Nissan North America is recalling 4,249 model year 2023 Titans and Frontiers.

      The tires may have a tear in the inner bead which can cause a rapid loss of tire pressure.

      A rapid loss of tire pressure while the vehicle is being driven can lead to a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Dealers will replace all four road tires, or inspect and replace the spare tire assembly -- as necessary -- free of charge.

      Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 10, 2023.

      The products contain hordenine and/or octodrine/DMHA

      TruVision Health is recalling the dietary supplements listed here.

      The products contain the unapproved dietary ingredients hordenine and/or octodrine/DMHA (1,5-Dimethylhexylamine).

      Hordenine may be unsafe when taken by mouth and could cause stimulating side effects such as rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, jitteriness, nervousness, nausea, vomiting or insomnia.

      Octodrine or DMHA (1,5-Dimethylhexylamine) appears to be similar to another stimulant called dimethylamylamine (DMAA), which has been found to increase heart rate, myocardial contractility, and pain threshold in animals.

      Some consumers have reported experiencing chest pain, chills, diarrhea, dizziness/lightheadedness, fatigue, headache, high blood pressure, high heart rate, jitters, nausea, nervousness, rash, stomach pain or upset, sweating and vomiting.

      The recalled products were sold online at Truvy.com to retail customers and received though US postal service or a parcel carrier like UPS.

      The products were also sold throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Ireland and England.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled products should sop using them immediately and discard or return them to TruVision Health for a full refund or an exchange

      Ford recalls 232,000 model year 2004-2006 Rangers with airbag issue

      An airbag inflator may have been improperly replaced in a previous recall

      Ford Motor Company is recalling 231,942 model year 2004-2006 Rangers that received replacement front passenger airbag inflators under a previous recall.

      The replacement front passenger airbag inflators may have been installed incorrectly.

      An incorrectly installed inflator may not properly inflate the passenger airbag, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

      What to do

      Dealers will inspect and reinstall the front passenger airbag inflator -- as necessary -- free of charge.

      Owners should start receiving notification letters shortly after May 22, 2023.

      ODL recalls 39,000 severe weather doorglass inserts

      The inserts can become separated from the door in severe weather

      ODL of Zeeland, Mich., is recalling about 39,000 severe weather doorglass inserts.

      Under severe weather conditions, such as hurricanes, the adhesive bond holding the doorglass inserts can become separated from the door causing a risk of injury and property damage from windborne debris.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves severe weather doorglass inserts designed to protect homes in hurricane prone regions from the risk of wind-borne debris.

      The recalled inserts were sold under the ODL, Western Reflections and Kenyon’s Glass brand names.

      Date codes for affected products 05/01/2022 through 12/06/2022 are located on the bottom corners of the doors.

      The recalled doorglass inserts are often purchased by intermediate distributors and placed into completed “door and doorglass” products, such as under the Jeld-Wen brand.

      The inserts, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at Home Depot and Lowe’s stores nationwide, online at HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com and Zabitat.com from May 2022, through February 2023, for between $1,200 and $2,250.

      Model numbers sold by Home Depot are 958012 and 958045.

      Model umbers sold by Lowes are 2570445, 940039, 940040, 940041, 940042, 940043, 940044, 940045, 940072, 940073, 940074, 940075, 940078, 940079, 940080, 940081, 940117, 940119, 940122, 940123, 940124, 949935, 1076439, 1076440 and 1076442.

      What to do

      Consumers need to be aware the recalled severe weather doorglass insert may not function as expected, and should immediately contact ODL to arrange for a free repair by a qualified technician. The doorglass insert will be repaired or replaced free of charge.

      A damaged power transfer unit may cause a loss of drive power

      Chrysler is recalling 25,980 model year 2016-2017 Jeep Cherokees, expanding a recall issued in 2020.

      The power transfer unit (PTU) may become damaged and disengage the transmission and differential, resulting in a loss of drive power or loss of park function.

      A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.

      A loss of park function can cause an unintended vehicle rollaway, which can increase the risk of a crash or injury.

      What to do

      Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will perform a software update free of charge.

      Walker Edison recalls 121,000 twin over twin bunk beds

      The wooden slats supporting the bunk beds can break

      Walker Edison Furniture of Salt Lake City, Utah, is recalling about 121,000 twin over twin bunk beds.

      The wooden slats supporting the bunk beds can break while in use, posing fall and impact hazards.

      The firm has received reports of 14 incidents of the bunk beds slats breaking, including one report of minor injuries.

      This recall involves Walker Edison Furniture Twin Over Twin Bunk Beds sold in various colors and finishes.

      All models have a ladder down the side.

      Walker Edison Furniture, Made in Brazil and the model name are printed on a label on the inside of the bed rail or foot board.

      The bunk beds were sold online at Walmart.com, HomeDepot.com, Amazon.com, Overstock.com and Wayfair.com from February 2010, through February 2022, for between $206 and $389.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bunk beds and contact Walker Edison Furniture to receive a free repair kit consisting of 12 wooden slats and new instructions.

      The instrument cluster may fail to display any information when the vehicle is started.

      The products, which were stored and shipped to certain stores on or around June 1, 2022, through March 31, 2023, were stored outside of labeled temperature requirements.

      The necklaces have high levels of cadmium, which is toxic if ingested

      Creative Education of Canada is recalling about 4,300 Easter Bunny and Boutique Butterfly Jewel necklaces.

      The necklaces have high levels of cadmium, which is toxic if ingested by children and can cause adverse health effects.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves the Easter Bunny Necklace with model number 86140 and the Boutique Butterfly Jewel Necklace with model number 90422 printed on the back of the packaging.

      The recalled bunny necklaces have a white bunny holding an Easter egg and a gold-colored chain.

      The recalled butterfly necklaces have blue, pink or purple stones on the butterfly’s wings and a gold-colored chain.

      They were sold threaded through a white plastic backing.

      “Great Pretenders” is printed on the tag.

      The necklaces, manufactured in China, were sold at toy and gift stores nationwide and online at greatpretenders.ca from January through March 2023, for about $2 for the Easter Bunny necklace and and $4 for the Boutique Butterfly Jewel necklace.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the necklaces and contact Creative Education of Canada for a full refund.

      Consumers should cut the recalled necklace chain in half and provide a photo to the firm as proof of destruction. The firm is contacting all known purchasers.

      Diamond Visions of Oak Creek, Wisc., is recalling about 6,000 Screaming Plush Monkey toys.

      The eyes on the toy can detach, posing a choking hazard to children.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves Screaming Plush Monkeys in brown, blue and pink.

      The monkeys are 23 inches long and make a scream-like sound when the front paw is pressed.

      The front paws of the plush monkey have Velcro so that the monkey’s arms can be wrapped around a consumer’s neck.

      Model TM-3280 and Diamond Visions, Inc. are printed on a tag on the monkey.

      The Screaming Plush Monkeys, manufactured in China, were sold at independent hardware and variety stores nationwide from September 2021, through November, 2022, for about $6.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately take the recalled toys away from children and contact Diamond Visions for instructions on how to receive a full refund.

      Subaru of America is recalling 4,030 model year 2023 Imprezas.

      The brake light switch may be improperly adjusted and illuminate the brake lights without application of the brake pedal.

      Additionally, the vehicle may also allow drivers to start and shift the transmission out of the PARK position without pressing the brake pedal.

      What to do

      Dealers will inspect the gap between the brake light switch and stopper, adjusting the switch -- as necessary -- free of charge.

      The brake pressure switch may short and cause fire

      General Motors is recalling 40,428 model year 2019-2023 Chevrolet 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD medium-duty trucks.

      The brake pressure sensor assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch and cause an electrical short-circuit.

      An electrical short in the brake pressure switch can overheat the circuit and increase the risk of a fire while the vehicle is being driven or parked.

      What to do

      Owners should park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete.

      Dealers will replace the master cylinder pressure sensor and inspect the wire harness, replacing it -- if necessary -- free of charge.

      Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed May 29, 2023, with second letters going out once the remedy is available.

      General Mills recalls four varieties of Gold Medal flour

      General Mills is recalling two-, five- and 10-pound bags of Gold Medal Unbleached and Bleached All Purpose Flour with a “better if used by” dates of March 27, 2024, and March 28, 2024.

      The products may be contaminated with Salmonella.

      This recall affects two date codes of Gold Medal Unbleached All Purpose Flour in the five- and ten pound bags, and two date codes of Gold Medal Bleached All Purpose Flour in the two- and five-pound bags.

      A list of the recalled products may be found here.

      All other types of Gold Medal Flour are not affected by this recall.

      What to do

      Consumers should check their pantries and dispose of the recalled product.

      Vornado recalls Steamfast and Brookstone travel steam irons

      The power cord can become damaged near the cord bushing, which can lead to overheating

      Vornado Air of Andover, Kan., is recalling about 322,000 Steamfast Home & Away Travel Steam Irons and Brookstone Steam Bug Travel Steam Irons sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The power cord can become damaged near the cord bushing, which can lead to overheating of the cord, posing fire and burn hazards.

      In addition, cord damage near the bushing can result in exposed copper wires, posing a shock hazard.

      The firm has received 50 reports of incidents, including 38 reports of the iron’s power cord smoking, sparking, burning or other signs of overheating and 12 reports of cord damage. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves dual voltage Steamfast brand Home and Away Travel Steam Irons with model numbers SF-717, SF-720 and SF-727 and with date codes between January 2008, and March 2017, and Brookstone Steam Bug Travel Steam Irons with model number 606335. The model numbers and the production date codes are printed on the back of the irons. Steamfast or Brookstone are printed on the white irons.

      The recalled Steamfast and Brookstone irons can also be identified by the length of the cord bushing. The recalled irons have a gray or black cord bushing that extends less than one inch from the enclosure along the power cord.

      The travel irons, manufactured in China, were sold at Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond and other stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Vornado.com, Steamfast.com, and other online retailers from January 2009, through May 2018, and Brookstone between 2009, and 2013, for between $13 and $30.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled irons and visit the Steamfast or Vornado website to register for the recall and receive a refund of $19.99.
