Realtors

There are a couple of ways to look at realtors -- or Realtors®, as they like to be known. They can be considered a necessary evil, an unnecessary expense or as a fast-disappearing artifact of the days when they had exclusive access to home listings. Your opinion is most likely based on experiences good and bad. Anyone who's bought and sold a few homes will tell you that having a good Realtor is an unrivaled asset. On the other hand, having a bad one is worse than having none at all. The only way to know what you're getting? Ask candidates for references -- and then be sure to follow up. If their past clients aren't happy, chance are you won't be either.
