On July 11, I purchased a single property record lookup and paid the one-time fee, thinking that was the end of it. Then today, July 15, I noticed a $31 charge for what turned out to be a monthly subscription. I contacted customer service through their online chat at 9:38 p.m. and was pleasantly surprised to be connected to a live person almost immediately. I explained what had happened and asked for a refund. The chat agent, Charles, was honest, courteous, and efficient. He processed the refund right away, told me to expect it within 3 to 5 days, and even provided a confirmation number. This kind of customer service is rare these days, and Charles deserves recognition for handling the situation so professionally. I only needed a one-time record lookup, but based on this experience, I would definitely recommend this company to organizations or agencies that need property record searches on a regular basis.

I requested a search on a local property owned by a church, paid the required fee, but did not get any pertinent information. I use live chat to ask about the search, not returning information and was told the searches are only for residential properties. I ask if it would be possible to get a refund since I did not see that fully explained when I made the request. The person on live chat, said they would take care of it and a refund would be issued. I am very pleased with the response and the professional manner in which my request was handled. It reassured me. This is a respectable search format. If I have questions on residential properties, I would not hesitate to use the service again. They have been honest and easy to work with.

I wanted to see the records on a home I purchased a few years ago to see if any permits had been issued in the past and who the owners were prior to me. I thought I was signing up for a short free trial and planned to cancel it within a week. It was just a curiosity - I don't have any need for these records. I was checking my credit card and see that I was charged the $1 as I expected but I was also charged $20. I did a live chat with Nancy in Customer Support. She explained why I was charged. I responded that it was very misleading. She offered top refund the $20 fee. I really appreciated that she is doing that.

Customer service Patricia was very helpful, efficient and great to work with. I only needed one report for my mother's house, but when my card was charged again for the plan fee, I logged into the online chat, and she helped to close my account so I would not incur any additional charges. I know other companies who don't respond or give the run around instead of closing it, if that had happened, I would have given a different review on google & yelp, etc. Grateful to have had such a pleasant experience and I will highly recommend this service to others.

I used this service for info I needed for the sale of a property. I received 3 charges of $1, $7, and $20. I agree with the $1 & $7 but should not have been charged the $20. I closed the account immediately and was promised a refund of the $20. That never happened and when I talked to Customer Service, I was finally told that their system showed that they issued the credit but if they did, my account never received it. 5 calls/chats later with promises each time of a credit, they said their system wouldn't allow them to issue another credit so they would request that a check be sent to me.

I did not want the property package, only my property report. Contacted customer service and David assisted me in closing my account and receive a refund because I didn’t want the package, only single report

As the report helps for buying a foreclosure, pricing needs a little more attention as to what you are actually being charged and how. Thinking you are paying for one then get charged again is ridiculous.

Support was good but the only reason I had to talk to support is because of a $31 unauthorized charge. Support was very helpful and straight to the answer. I only agreed to two charges $7 and $9 but saw nothing about $31.

Customer service is excellent. Prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. Property records are current and comprehensive. Great job! Web access is quick and easy, and available anywhere on any device. I am trying to leave a nice review, because they deserve it.

I had previously used PropertyRecs looking for information about my current home, and had forgotten to cancel my subscription. I spoke to Stephanie over the live chat, and she was able to cancel my account and refund the payment instantly.

The process for requesting a report and the fee is confusing. I expected a $1 charge for my electronic report but was charged $31. The on-line help was able to get me a credit and I appreciate it. Please fix the instructions for new users.

Frank was outstanding. He was very helpful and quick to help. He answered my question and took care of things I need completed. Their customer service was great. I would recommend them to anyone. I was able to look at our property information and it was very detailed.

I signed up somehow for a continuing service, in error. Customer service fixed and cancelled/closed acct for me, no trouble at all. Excellent service. I had only wanted one review of property records in settling and estate.

I had a terrible experience with this company. They have been charging my card $9.95 multiple times per month since February 2026, totaling almost $100 in unauthorized charges over the past five months. When I contacted customer service, they claimed that I had signed up after searching for information about a property on their website. I asked them which property it was, but they said they couldn’t access that information.

I decided to cancel my account after I determined it was not as useful for me as I had thought. I used their chat feature, and it was immediate. It said I'd not have any further payments.

On the one hand they billed me for 2 years for what I thought was a one time report, but on the other hand when I realized and contacted them they refunded the entire amount immediately. It literally showed up on my credit card in seconds. I’ve never been refunded so fast so ultimately it worked out fine. The property report was very good and detailed too.

$30.00 was charged for a record package. I was notified $7.00 will be charged for PDF file. However, I did not see any amount of charge for the record package when I went through the website menu. The support manager kindly issued a refund in the amount charged.

I was looking for a place for my father and used this site in order to gain valuable information around the reality of living situations. My father is older and while he can live independently, safety and a caring community was a priority. The various tools I was able to use to explore various properties was incredibly helpful when attempting to make my determination.
