About PropertyRecs.com

PropertyRecs is a database that offers detailed information on dwellings and properties. If you’re in the market to buy or sell a house or piece of property, you can search PropertyRecs for information like property tax trends, title records, sales history and more.

Pros
  • One-stop database for various types of property reports
Cons
  • Info can be pulled from other sources

PropertyRecs.com services

PropertyRecs aggregates public property records from government agencies like tax assessors, court clerks, county recorders and the secretary of state to build detailed property reports for users. If available, each report includes:

  • Property deeds and ownership
  • Property taxes
  • Sales history
  • Property value reports
  • Property details
  • Foreclosures
  • Mortgage records
  • Neighborhood reviews
  • Liens
  • Permits
  • Sex offenders
  • Crimes nearby
  • School ratings

It’s important to note that all of this information can be found elsewhere on the internet or directly from local government agencies, typically for free. For example, you can use county sites to download property records. PropertyRecs does the heavy lifting for you, though, and for a very small price.

How does PropertyRecs.com work?

To use PropertyRecs, simply input the address you want to research in the search bar at the top of the site. Then the company will ask for your email address, which package you want to sign up for and how you want to pay. Once you input your payment information, the site will start compiling the reports on your behalf.

While not explicitly stated, it’s safe to assume that PropertyRecs will email you the reports once they’re compiled. Note that the company does not guarantee the accuracy of the reports and will not investigate any information on your behalf.

How much does PropertyRecs.com cost?

PropertyRecs charges you per property report. You can also sign up for a monthly plan. The monthly price is significantly more affordable than paying for each one out-of-pocket but probably doesn’t make sense for all users.

If you’re a real estate investor or a real estate agent, signing up for a monthly plan may make sense in the long run. In some cases, it could help give extra insight to your clients at a minimal cost to you. In general, though, this information does not negate the need for further research, and you’ll likely still have to run the other reports required by law or lender.

I pulled a report from PropertyRecs.com back in August of 2024 for a charge of $1. In Jan. 2025 they were pulling $20 a month from my bank account. I reached out to them since I never authorized a $20 a month fee for their services. They did provide a report and it helped. When I reached out to them asking why without hesitation, they cancelled my account and refunded me. They were very helpful. I will follow up to see if they refund my $$. & keep you posted.

I used PropertyRec.com to try to get information on the correct property lines at my grandparents' home. I paid a dollar for the report knowing that I would be charged $20 a week later if I did not cancel. Although Information regarding the property lines was incorrect on the website. It was also incorrect at the tax assessor's office in my parish so I cannot fault Propertyrec for the incorrect information. What I can say is that when I wanted to get a refund of the $20, it was the easiest interaction I’ve ever experienced. They understood my issue.

They didn’t ask unnecessary questions nor did they try to extend my membership or offer me for. I told them the issue, she said, "Let me look at the account" and then her next message was "we have refunded you and close the account. Thank you." Highly recommend this company, is the best for customer service. Always check the validity of your parish or county property information as well because if their information is wrong, any information on the report for Propertyrec will be incorrect as well. Thank you, Debra for your help.

I helped a friend research information on a property that he owns. Although, I didn't get everything that I was looking for, I got more than I anticipated. I ordered the basic report, that included: land geo photo, parcel size, current and former residents, sexual offenders. Each report...i.e., if you were to click on a resident, it tells you all previous and current addresses, ages, potential email and potential phone numbers. The thing that got me, was that after I received the report, I received an email from Jeremy, to ask if I got everything that I was looking for. He did additional research and provided additional information. Worth the money, but I would suggest getting all possible reports to ensure you are receiving the most comprehensive findings.

Did a look up on a property that was believed to not be deeded to my father as it should have been. After my search I received an email from Michael (Data Report Expert) asking if I found what I needed during my search. Since I did not actually find exactly what I needed, he diligently continued the search and kept in contact with me. He came back with information of a Land Contract not recorded as satisfied being the issue, steering me in the direction of where to go next for more info. This is not a take your money and run outfit. They sincerely care about their customers with follow up and assistance (not common in the world today).

I was looking for information to see how a house was titled in Florida (joint tenancy etc). I was doing this at 3 am FL time. I came across this website pretty quickly. For $1 I could a basic report. Then if you want other items it's an additional $5. There are all sorts of things they can find for you. I ordered a few extra things, probably more than I needed, and my total was $24. That's a bargain! I didn't have to do any more searching, didn't have to call the public records/courthouse, and didn't have to fly out to Florida. I try to find all the information myself that way it reduces my attorney fees. With the information I was able to get through this company I could see I didn't have a case to move forward.

I had the report in my email a couple of minutes after I entered submit. I had a question about something and I was able to chat with someone online immediately! I was pretty shocked at that time of day. All you really need is the property address for what I was looking for. I had someone else reach out to me to make sure that I received everything I needed. I had a follow-up question and they said our specialist can find that out for you. You'll have a response in I believe 12 to 24 hours. By the time I woke up that morning it was in my email and there was no additional charge. We are so used to everything being at our fingertips that we get impatient when we can't find it or have to wait. This company is legit, professional and they follow through! Highly recommend!

I paid $1 for one report and the next day they tried to bill me $30 that I did not approve. Be very careful. They try hard to trip you up. Every button click is fraught with risk. Don't pay the $7 for a PDF. Just select print and save it to a pdf. These people are rip off artists. Avoid!!!

I paid $7 for a PDF of incomplete property information. A week later, they quietly began billing $30/month without any notice or way to manage subscriptions on their site. You can’t log in to view or cancel—it forces you into live chat, where agents insist you “must have signed up by accident,” yet provide no proof you ever agreed to a recurring charge (no emails, no invoices, nothing). They emailed me a $30 invoice on June 6, claiming it covered my April service—despite already billing me $30 on May 1 and $30 on June 1. After I was transferred to another rep, they charged me yet again, leaving me $120 out of pocket for useless, incomplete data. Do not give these people your credit card.

I needed to find out the property information where my son passed away at, who owned the home and who was in the home at the time of my son's suicide and I received all the information I needed that no one would give me. Thank you for helping me with a understanding of my son's last months in foster care system.

Company went above and beyond to make sure I had the information I needed. So surprising these days when that happens, and such a delightful experience. Even when they were not able to provide a certain document, they steered me in the right direction to getting it elsewhere.
