I have used PropertyRecs.com several times over the past year to pull property records. I find the $5.00 report fee very fair, and the information included on the reports is very accurate. I am most impressed by the customer service. When pulling reports a few months ago, I didn't realize that I had signed up for a monthly subscription service to pull reports on demand. I only pull two or three a year, so I didn't need a monthly subscription.

I thought my initial search for property records was effortless. Great. Helpful, too. I also felt like it was a good value. A month later, I received a new charge. I immediately got on their very responsive live chat and questioned it. I had apparently signed on to a monthly package. I couldn't see an access point when I signed it to understand the subscription, but live chat told me what it was. I asked for that to be canceled and asked for a refund. They were happy to oblige me. I am being refunded and have a confirmation number. I can't complain about the responsiveness. I think I am bothered by the package, though. I do recommend them with that caution.

I was unsuccessful signing on to my account more than once. Each time it said I was sent a verification code, this did not happen and I requested a second one but was still unable to sign on. I called, was put on 3 min hold twice, and both times was disconnected by your phones. So, I decided to try Chat, to my surprise I was immediately connected, I have only used my account once but have been charged for each month (7 times). I only asked for a 3 month refund and account closed, granted without any hesitation. I wish I would have asked for another 3 months. Thank you. Tina

I want to express my sincere appreciation for this online service regarding my family history research. My uncle and I have been trying to confirm when his aunt—my great-aunt—acquired her home in Rochester, New York. Not knowing where to begin my research, I consulted this website, since neither myself nor my uncle are physically able to visit the local repositories.

I am trying to fill in some large gaping holes of my family tree, which is a mighty lofty goal considering I was adopted, and my dad was adopted...It has been a challenge. Every little scrap of information that I get is like finding the golden egg at an Easter egg hunt. So, I brought my small amount of information about grandpa to you for verification, thinking that it would take forever for someone to answer my questions...But actually my questions were all taken care of in less than an hour. I didn't get to verify grandpa's temporary home at the prison farm, but it wasn't for lack of help and guidance from the county clerk's office. I will try again at the next office that was suggested.
