The front windshield wiper motor may not work

Ford Motor Company is recalling 453,650 model year 2021-2022 F-150 pickup trucks, expanding a recall from earlier this year.

The front windshield wiper motor may become inoperative, causing the wipers to fail.

Windshield wipers that don't work can reduce visibility in certain conditions, increasing the risk of a crash.

What to do

Dealers will replace the front windshield wiper motor free of charge.

Owners will be notified by mail starting in early 2023.

Owners may contact Ford customer service at (866) 436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 22S71.
