    Gelato Boy of Boulder, Colo., is recalling 5,824 pints of Chocolate Chunk Gelato.

    The product may contain milk, an allergen not declared on the label.

    No illnesses have been reported to date.

    The recalled product, labeled “CHOCOLATE CHUNK GELATO” in a 16-oz paper pint container with a lid, lot code 4043T2, a Best By date of 04/25 and UPC 853457008002, was sold in the ice cream and novelties aisle of grocery stores nationwide including -- but not limited to -- Sprouts Farmer’s Market, King Soopers / City Market, Whole Foods Market and others.

    What to do

    Customers with a milk allergy or sensitivity who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but discard or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

    Foremost Foods recalls Pamana brand mini fruit jelly cups

    The size of the product container makes it a choking hazard

    Foremost Foods Corporation of Pomona, Calif., is recalling its Pamana mini fruit jelly cup.

    Based on its size, the container may be a potential choking hazard. Small jelly cups have previously been implicated in choking deaths of children.

    No incidents of consumers choking have been reported to date in connection with these products.

    The following products, sold nationwide at Seafood City supermarkets are being recalled:

    • Pamana Mini Fruit Jelly Cup (Assorted Flavors); UPC 795981293038; Net Weight 35.27 oz.
    • Pamana Mini Fruit Jelly Cup (Mango Flavor); UPC 795981293045; Net Weight 35.27 oz.
    • Pamana Mini Fruit Jelly Cup (Lychee Flavor); UPC 795981293021; Net Weight 35.27 oz.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled products should discard them in a sealed package inside a secure garbage can with a tight‐fitting lid, or return them to the store where purchased for a full refund.

    Victrola recalls bluetooth record players

    The record players can overheat, posing a fire hazard

    Victrola of Denver, Colo., is recalling about 5,700 Wood Metropolitan Bluetooth Record Players with 3-speed turntables.

    The record players can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

    The firm has received six reports of the units overheating or catching on fire, including one minor injury and one report of minor property damage.

    This recall involves the model number VTA-240B-ESP Wood Metropolitan Bluetooth Record Player with 3-speed turntable.

    The unit is approximately 6.5 inches high, 14.5 inches wide, and 15.5 inches deep and weighs about 12 pounds.

    The unit has three black control knobs with brass accents on the front panel and the word “Victrola” written in gold lettering on the inside of top cover.

    Recalled units are Espresso color and were manufactured in September 2021.

    A white label on the back shows the words “Model: VTA-240B.” A second white label on the back of recalled units shows the words “Production Date: 09/2021.”

    The record players, manufactured in China, were sold online at Amazon.com, Victrola.com, Macys.com and other websites from December 2021, through April 2023, for between $100 and $200.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately unplug and stop using the recalled record players and contact Victrola to receive a free replacement. Consumers should keep the recalled record players until successfully registering for the recall, at which time the firm will provide consumers with disposal instructions.

      DEKA Trading recalls ready-to-eat pork rinds

      The products were imported from Guatemala, which is ineligible to export meat products to the U.S.

      DEKA Trading Corp., of Miami, Fla., is recalling approximately 20,981 pounds of ready-to-eat pork rinds.

      The products were imported from Guatemala which is not eligible to export meat products to the U.S.

      There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

      The following items, which do not bear an establishment number or a USDA mark of inspection, were shipped to wholesale and retail locations in Georgia, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Virginia:

      • 5.3 oz. (150g) foil pouch packages containing “TorTrix Con Chicharrón.”
      • 2.8 oz. (80g) foil pouch packages containing “Señorial Tortillitas MIX CON CHICHARRONES.

        A transmission issue may cause a loss of drive power

        Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is recalling 8,178 model year 2022-2023 C300s and model year 2023 AMG C43s.

        The transmission wiring harness may be the incorrect length, which can result in harness damage and a loss of drive power.

        A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.

        What to do

        Dealers will inspect and repair the transmission wiring harness routing -- as necessary -- free of charge.

        MBUSA will notify owners by mail starting around August 29, 2023.

        Honda recalls 124,000 Civics, Ridgelines, Passports, Pilots and Acura MDXs

        The brakes may fail, increasing the risk of a crash

        American Honda Motor Co. is recalling 124,077 of the following vehicles:

        • Model year 2020-2021 Civics,
        • Model year 2020-2023 Ridgelines,
        • Model year 2021-2023 Passports,
        • Model year 2021-2022 Pilots, and
        • Model year 2020 Acura MDXs.

        The tie rod fastener that connects the brake booster and the brake master cylinder may have been improperly assembled, which can cause the brake master cylinder to separate from the booster assembly.

        Brake master cylinder separation can cause a loss of brake function and increase the risk of a crash.

        What to do

        Dealers will inspect and repair the brake booster assembly-- as necessary -- free of charge.

        Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 7, 2023.

        woom Bikes USA recalls 84,000 woom ORIGINAL kids’ bikes

        The bikes' stem and handlebar can detach

        woom Bikes USA of Austin, Texas, is recalling about 84,533 woom ORIGINAL bicycles sold in the U.S. and Canada.

        The stem and handlebar on the bikes can detach and cause riders to lose control, posing a fall hazard.

        The firm has received 77 reports of the handlebar stem detaching or loosening, resulting in 19 injuries involving bruising, cuts or abrasions.

        This recall involves all sizes of woom ORIGINAL 2018 – 2021 model bikes designed for children between 18 months and 14 years.

        The stems on these bikes have one silver bolt to clamp onto the steerer tube.

        They were sold in seven versions: woom 1, woom 1 Plus, woom 2, woom 3, woom 4, woom 5 and woom 6.

        The woom 1 and woom 1 PLUS are balance bikes, woom 2 through 6 are pedal bikes sold in red, green, blue, purple and yellow.

        The word “woom” in white letters is displayed on the sides of the downtube. The word “woom” in metallic letters is also visible on the front of the headtube. The markings “#woombikes” in black letters on chain stay and wheel size in black on sides of the front fork.

        The bikes, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at woom.com, amazon.com and select local bicycle stores nationwide from September 2018, through March 2022, for between $200 and $530.

        Yamaha Golf Car Company recalls 11,000 golf cars

        The company says the accelerator may stick

        Yamaha Golf Car is recalling about 11,000 2023 Personal Transportation Vehicles (PTV) because the accelerator spring can become dislodged, allowing the accelerator pedal not to return to the resting position, posing crash and injury or death hazards.

        The vehicles were sold in various colors including white, blue, green and orange. The model name is located on the left and right side of the vehicle and the serial number can be found on the frame under the operator’s seat.

        Remedy:

        Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled 2023 Yamaha Golf Car, PTV and Umax and contact Yamaha for a free inspection and repair. Yamaha is contacting known purchasers directly.

        The company said it is not aware of any injuries resulting from the safety defect. The recalled vehicles were sold at Yamaha Golf-Car dealerships and distributors nationwide from August 2022 through March 2023 for between $6,200 and $9,700.

        Fire hazard prompts recall of 190,000 portable chargers sold at Amazon

        One device caught fire during a commercial airline flight, resulting in injuries

        VRURC, a China-based company, has recalled about 190,000 portable chargers. The company says the chargers can ignite, posing a fire hazard.

        This recall involves VRURC portable chargers with model number “OD-B7,” which have built-in cables and a built-in wall plug. The model number is printed on the back of the recalled chargers, which were sold in black, blue, green, orange, pink, red and white color options.

        Remedy:

        Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled portable chargers and contact VRURC for a free replacement product.

        Incidents/Injuries:

        VRURC has received one report of fire during a commercial flight, which resulted in four flight attendants being transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

        CaTeam recalls canvas baby hammock swings

        The product has an incline angle greater than ten degrees

        CaTeam of Oak Harbor, Wash., is recalling about 700 canvas baby hammock swings.

        The inclined sleeper is a banned hazardous product under the Safe Sleep for Babies Act since it was marketed for infant sleep and has an incline angle greater than ten degrees.

        Infant fatalities have occurred in inclined sleepers after the infants rolled from their back to their stomach or side while unrestrained, or under other circumstances.

        No incidents or injuries have been reported in connection with this product.

        This recall involves infant hammock swings made of wood and cloth with adjustable height settings sold in ivory, taupe gray, gray, dark gray, blue, ochre, green and pink.

        “CaTeam” is printed on a label stitched on the hammock swings.

        The hammock swings, manufactured in China, were sold online at the firm website cateam.store and Amazon.com from November 2022, through January 2023, for between $70 and $100.

        What to do

        Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled baby hammock swings and contact CaTeam for instructions on how to receive a full refund and dispose of the product properly.

        Chrysler recalls 80,000 Ram 1500s and Jeep Grand Cherokees

        A crankshaft position sensor failure may cause the engine to stall

        Chrysler is recalling 80,629 model year 2014-2019 Ram 1500s and model year 2014-2020 Jeep Grand Cherokees with 3.0L Diesel engines.

        The crankshaft position sensor tone wheel may delaminate, causing the engine to lose its ability to synchronize the fuel injector pulses and cam shaft timing, possibly resulting in an engine stall.

        An engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.

        What to do

        Dealers will update the powertrain control module software to maintain vehicle propulsion free of charge.

        Letters notifying owners are expected to be mailed July 28, 2023.

        Bose recalls one million Acoustimass, Lifestyle and Companion bass modules

        The speaker’s electrical components can fail, posing a fire hazard.

        Bose Corporation of Framingham, Mass., is recalling about one million Bose Acoustimass, Lifestyle and Companion bass modules produced before April 2006.

        The speaker’s electrical components can fail, posing a fire hazard.

        The firm has received 21 reports worldwide of the bass modules igniting or melting, including three incidents of fires resulting in property damage to carpeting, an entertainment cabinet and to materials surrounding the bass box.

        No injuries have been reported.

        This recall involves select bass modules manufactured before April 1, 2006 that were sold with select Acoustimass, Lifestyle and Companion home theater systems.

        The components are black or white.

        The Bose logo, product name, serial number “SER. NO.” and date code are printed on the product label, which is located either on the back or bottom of the bass module.

        The product name is printed at the top of the label next to the Bose logo. The serial number is described on the label as “SER. NO.” The multi-digit serial number printed on the bass module label includes the “date code” for that module. The date code is reflected in the eighth through eleventh digits of the serial number.

        A list of the product names on the bass modules and date codes contained in the serial numbers may be found here.

        The base modules, manufactured in the U.S., Mexico and Ireland, were sold at Bose stores, Best Buy, Circuit City, Sam’s Club, Sears and other electronics stores nationwide, and online at Bose.com from January 1994, through April 2007, for between $220 and $2,200.

        What to do

        Consumers should immediately stop using and unplug the recalled bass modules and contact Bose to arrange for a free repair of the bass module or a 40% discount on a replacement product.
