Promised the system would replace my electricity. While I understand there will be variances, the system has only been producing 50% of the estimated production since day 1. So now I have a solar loan AND I'm paying an electric bill. And because I have solar, the electric company charges a higher base fee to ensure their operating costs are covered; whether or not the panels are producing. I made Tyler and his team at Proclaim Solar aware of the discrepancy and they refuse to come out to inspect the system or even help call the manufacturers for warranty issues. I had the utility company check things on their end and supposedly everything is operating appropriately.
Tyler and team will not help nor honor their warranty and will sell you promises and not deliver. They supposedly had an engineer design my system, according to them, but can't produce an engineering report when asked. Their response to my issue of the drastically lower production is "well, we told you we can't guarantee production". DO NOT use this company. Honestly, it may be that solar isn't worth it in general. Just a way for these companies to charge you top dollar. These systems can be bought overseas for about $20k including customs and delivery to your home. They charged $71k and can't even provide quality customer service. But hey, they got paid, who cares if the client got what they paid for, right? Before you attempt to go solar, check out solar reviews in general. Expect to ADD monthly payments.
