Model year 2019 Ford Edge vehicles recalled

The driver’s side seat belt assembly may not adequately restrain the occupant

Ford Motor Company is recalling about 420 model year 2019 Ford Edge vehicles.

The vehicles may have an improperly crimped driver’s side seat belt pretensioner anchor.

In a crash, the occupant may not be restrained adequately, increasing the risk of injury.

The automaker is not aware of any reports of accident or injury related to this condition.

What to do

Ford will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the driver’s side seat belt pretensioner assembly and replace it if it is within the suspect part production dates free of charge.
