Communication was one of the biggest problems throughout this entire process. Emails frequently went unanswered, phone calls were not returned, and management was largely unresponsive. The only time communication noticeably improved was after I filed a complaint with the CSLB. Before that, getting updates required constant follow-up on my part. To make matters worse, our financing began while the project was still not fully completed and without PTO. We also submitted utility bills for reimbursement after being told credits would be provided, yet those issues remain unresolved. The project required multiple visits to our property, and repeated work on the roof resulted in concerns regarding the condition of our shingles. Promises were made regarding follow-up, documentation, inspections, and resolution discussions, but many of those commitments were never followed through on.

What has been most disappointing is the lack of accountability and customer service from management. A project of this size should not require a homeowner to spend months chasing updates, filing complaints, and repeatedly requesting information just to get answers. At this point, I am still attempting to resolve the matter and complete the project, but I would not recommend Sunergy based on my experience. Homeowners considering solar should do extensive research and make sure they understand exactly how their project will be managed from start to still pending. Run. Find another company.
