I wouldn’t recommend this one at all. Purchased one at Spencer’s in Phoenix in March 2025. It only one year and 4 months. Yesterday the appliance stopped producing cold air. Went to Spencer’s to see if something they can do, I was told that one year was over. Really, this is what you selling to American consumers.

I purchased a single-door refrigerator on February 7, 2025, under order number **. Less than 18 months after purchase, the refrigerator stopped cooling, despite still being covered by the manufacturer's two-year warranty. I contacted Frigidaire on September 7, 2026, to request a repair. A technician visited on September 9, diagnosed the problem as a leaking evaporator, ordered the necessary replacement parts, and scheduled a follow-up service appointment for September 18. However, the replacement evaporator never arrived, and Frigidaire subsequently canceled the scheduled appointment.
On September 21, Frigidaire issued a new service ticket (**). Since receiving this ticket, I have called customer service at least five times to obtain an update, but I have yet to receive a clear or consistent explanation of the situation. At times, the Consumer Care Team has indicated that the entire refrigerator would be replaced; at other times, I was told that the unit would be repaired by replacing the leaking evaporator. I was also assured that the issue would be resolved within 7–10 business days.
Despite these assurances, the problem remains unresolved more than three weeks after my initial service request on September 7. The repeated delays, lack of communication, and conflicting information from the Consumer Care Team have been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I have spent over $7,000 on this built-in refrigerator and freezer, including the extended warranty. Yet, instead of receiving the reliable service and support I expected, I have been left without a functioning refrigerator for three weeks and have had to make numerous calls without receiving a definitive answer or resolution.
This experience reflects a serious lack of professionalism and accountability on Frigidaire's part and has significantly undermined my confidence in the company. I am formally filing this complaint and requesting immediate action to resolve the issue. I expect Frigidaire to provide a clear explanation of the current status of my service ticket, confirm whether the refrigerator will be repaired or replaced, and establish a firm timeline for resolution. I hope this matter will receive the urgent attention it deserves and that Frigidaire will take responsibility for delivering the level of customer service its customers have a right to expect.

I would NOT recommend buying a Frigidaire appliance because when you need service, the company is TERRIBLE! The compressor on my son's refrigerator went out after only 2 years. I called customer service, told them the issue and they sent out a technician that didn't work on compressors. I paid $375 up front for service and after they couldn't help me out, I was only refunded $224.50. I had to call and follow up SEVERAL TIMES because I was never given a call back. I have wasted so much time trying to get my $150 back and it looks like I will be taking my claim to a lawyer as the company won't even TRY to work with me.

First water drinks stored in the refrigerator constantly freeze and sometime burst. The temperature setting for the refrigerator is set to the recommended setting. Meanwhile other items stored at the bottom of the refrigerator don’t get very cold. While cleaning the shelf from a frozen, burst can we removed the shelf and it burst into pieces when we simply applied cold tap water. I would never recommend Frigidaire to anyone!

I bought a apartment size Frigidaire retro frig/freezer from Wayfair at a great price, but is terrible all the way around. Fedex driver wanted to leave it at the front door, (I am 69 yo) with no way to get it into the house. He did bring to the back, up the ramp in front of back door, where I shimmed it into apartment. Waited 2 days before plugged in, and within 3 days had back wall full of water, then it all froze, so in less than a month it's worthless. Waiting on refund. I also bought extended warranty. Totally useless. Stay away!!! Buyer beware.

I purchased a new Frigidaire Refrigerator from Lowes store Whitehaven, Mississippi. Purchased on 8/132026. Delivered on 8/15/2026, and three days later noticed not getting cold. Noticed milk spoiled, noticed water not cold. After reporting to Lowes, no help because only 2 days report a problem, afterward they are out and you're on your own. Frigidaire took 10 days to send repairman. My food is spoiled. The repairman states the Main board needs replacing and the Air duct needs replacing on a brand new Frigidaire Refrigerator. Frigidaire refused to replace and send a new Refrigerator. I was given a lemon. The customer service at Frigidaire is refusing to replace my Lemon new Frigidaire Refrigerator.

This refrigerator is a piece of crap. One month and this thing does not work. I purchased it from Lowe’s and come to find out that, despite all the five stars from somebody that is anonymous that many customers complained about the same thing happening to their refrigerator. Lowe's is a big disappointment as well because come to find out they only have a 48 hour refund policy, that is very deceptive practices along with allowing somebody that is anonymous to put five stars on the reviews. I will never buy anything from Lowe’s nor will I buy another Frigidaire. Frigidaire is selling a product that they know is bad.

I will never purchase another Frigidaire product again. In August 2025, I spent over $1,300 on a Frigidaire refrigerator expecting it to last far longer than a single year. Instead, in September 2026, just over 12 months later and only two weeks out of warranty, the entire unit failed. The electronics completely fried, leaving both the refrigerator and freezer unusable and resulting in the loss of hundreds of dollars' worth of food.
To add insult to injury, Frigidaire's response was essentially, "Too bad, you're out of warranty." Apparently, a $1,300 appliance that lasts only 13 months is considered acceptable. Now I'm expected to pay another $500 just to repair a refrigerator that should never have failed this quickly in the first place. A major appliance should last years, not barely make it through the warranty period before catastrophically failing. The fact that Frigidaire refuses to stand behind a product that died only two weeks after warranty expiration says everything consumers need to know about how much confidence they have in their own products.
What's even more frustrating is that this is not my first terrible experience with Frigidaire in the last 6 months. I purchased a Frigidaire freezer in April 2026 that died the very next month. After dozens of phone calls on my end, months of waiting, broken promises about service appointments, and endless frustration, the issue was only resolved in August 2026 after I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and threatened legal action.
Between the cost of the appliance, the lost food, and the repair bill, this failure is incredibly expensive. The products have been unreliable, but the customer service somehow manages to be worse. I've never dealt with a company so unwilling to stand behind its products or make things right for customers. Save yourself the headache and buy literally anything else.

Dear future Frigidaire customer, unless you want a fridge that doesn't last a week, don't buy a fridge from this company! And if you do venture into these waters, good luck getting it fixed if you don't live in a major city. Our purchase of Model #: FRSS2623AW was delivered and within a week the noise coming from this appliance was almost unbearable, measuring 50 dB. You heard that right 50! Conversation measures 30 Db; research has shown this issue is quite common with this side-by-side refrigerator by Frigidaire. Calling their service department, it was explained to me that this noise was normal......WHAT!
Well, eventually the noise subsided but only because the fan making the noise died (a horrible death, I might add), and with the noise gone, the fridge no longer functioned as designed. First, the ice in the icemaker melted and provided us with a large puddle of water on our kitchen floor, and all the frozen food on the upper section of the freezer thawed, and on the fridge side everything in the vegetable storage bin froze.
Then we get into the request for service to fix the fridge, what a joke, we live about 25 minutes away from a large city (where we purchased this appliance) and Frigidaire tells me that they don't have a technician in my area to fix the fridge and they have to find someone to arrange a service call, this will take up to 5 business days. You read that right: five days and this less than a month old appliance is working anymore. So if you are so inclined to roll the dice and purchase one of these ill-conceived appliances, make sure you at least live in a major municipality so you might have a chance to have it serviced when it dies, and it will die! Do your homework, I should have, had I, I would have never purchased this total POS!!!! I am still waiting for a response from Frigidaire for service 6 business days, which is completely unacceptable in my opinion.

What has been even more frustrating is the warranty repair experience. The refrigerator has now been out of service for nearly four weeks, and the problem has been misdiagnosed twice. As of today, it is still not repaired. I purchased a new refrigerator expecting it to last for years, not fail after six weeks. Being without a refrigerator for this long is extremely inconvenient, especially when the appliance is essentially brand new.
The biggest disappointment is not only the early product failure, but the lack of an effective repair solution. Two incorrect diagnoses and weeks without a functioning refrigerator is unacceptable for a new appliance. I hope Frigidaire and Home Depot will take responsibility for this situation and provide a prompt and appropriate resolution, preferably a replacement rather than another unsuccessful repair attempt. Based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend this refrigerator or Frigidaire's warranty service.

I’ve always had good luck with Frigidaire appliances, but going forward I will avoid Frigidaire refrigerators. My FRSS26L3AFE died at 8 months — high‑temp alarm, flashing panel, compressor shutting off, and now it won’t restart. When I tried calling Frigidaire, their service line was closed and only said “call during regular business hours.” I booked service online for Monday. Frigidaire confirmed it and sent me the local vendor information. I contacted the vendor and was told the earliest they could be here was Thursday — six days away. I told them that was not acceptable and needed something sooner. They told me to contact the manufacturer.
Before calling Frigidaire on Monday, my wife confirmed with the vendor that our appointment was active. I explained to the Frigidaire rep that Thursday was not acceptable and I needed something earlier. I also told him I wanted to be sure the service wasn’t just diagnostics and that the vendor had parts on hand, because I didn’t want to wait another week for parts. He said he confirmed they had the parts and would move me up if there were any cancellations.
Today the vendor told me I never had an appointment. I called Frigidaire again, and they said the vendor canceled my ticket, claiming I “didn’t confirm,” even though we confirmed it twice and the Frigidaire rep confirmed it as well. Frigidaire then contacted another vendor who said they could have been here Monday if they had been assigned the job. Now they’re coming tomorrow and trying to get the part early. This shows me the Frigidaire rep never attempted to find faster service. Meanwhile, I’m still without a refrigerator. Early failure, canceled appointments, closed service line, and terrible communication between Frigidaire and their vendors — this has been one of the worst appliance experiences I’ve had. A warranty is worthless if they can’t perform timely service on critical devices like refrigerators.

Frigidaire — The Worst Appliance Experience I Have Ever Had. I honestly don’t even know where to begin. We purchased a brand-new Frigidaire refrigerator in September 2025, trusting that we were buying a reliable appliance from a reputable company. Instead, this refrigerator and our experience with Frigidaire have put our family through an unbelievable amount of stress, expense, wasted food, missed work, and frustration. The first weekend of February 2026, the compressor failed.
We have two children, and it was the middle of winter, so obviously we needed a refrigerator. We immediately called a repairman and paid out of pocket to have it looked at. We were told it could not be repaired and that we needed to contact Frigidaire because the refrigerator was still under its one-year warranty. We started the warranty process with Frigidaire the second weekend of February. And that is when the nightmare really began.
Frigidaire repeatedly scheduled repairmen to come to our home. We took time off work and rearranged our schedules, only to have repairmen not show up at all. There was no call, no explanation, and no consideration for the fact that we had taken time away from work to sit home and wait. When repairmen actually did show up, we were often told, “We can’t fix this.” Eventually, we found a service company that said they could help. They ordered a new compressor, but then we were told we had to wait for Frigidaire to ship it. We waited. And waited. It took FOUR WEEKS for that compressor to arrive.
During those four weeks, Frigidaire couldn't give me a tracking number. They couldn't tell me where the package was. They couldn't tell me when it would arrive. There was seemingly no way for anyone to provide us with a straight answer. Come to find out there was not just 1 part coming, there was 3 parts coming, and they all arrived separately, days/week apart from each other. Meanwhile, our family was living out of coolers and keeping drinks cold in the snow on our back porch.
We lost thousands and thousands of dollars in food. We spent money on repairs. We lost wages from taking time off work for appointments where repairmen didn't even show up. And we spent countless hours on the phone trying to get answers from Frigidaire. After approximately 60 DAYS, our refrigerator was finally repaired in the middle of April. We thought the nightmare was finally over. The refrigerator seemed to work. It made some strange noises, but honestly, after everything we had gone through, we were just grateful to finally have a cold refrigerator again. We thought the chaos was behind us. It wasn't.
On July 22, 2026, we woke up to find that the refrigerator had completely died AGAIN. Once again, all of our food was spoiled. The very first thing we did was contact Frigidaire. We eventually heard back on July 24 and were told a repairman would come Monday. Even after everything we had already experienced, Frigidaire still wasn't willing to simply replace this refrigerator. I took another day off work and waited at home with my children. The repairman never showed up. Frigidaire never called. No one followed up. We had to call them ourselves the next morning. And what did they offer? Another repair appointment.
At this point, this refrigerator had already had major work done to it. The compressor had failed. It had been repaired after two months of being unusable. We had lost thousands of dollars in food. We had missed work. We had spent countless hours dealing with Frigidaire. It was very clear to us that we had a lemon. We reluctantly agreed to yet another repairman coming out. He eventually came later that week, on Thursday. Before that appointment, a Frigidaire supervisor named “Tina” reassured me that the repairman would have everything he needed to fix the refrigerator. I specifically asked her, “What happens if it isn't fixed?” She reassured me that it would be fixed. That was the last time Tina ever answered my calls. She never returned my emails. She never returned my phone calls. No one would transfer me to her. I was then passed to another representative, “Rose.”
At first, Rose seemed helpful. She wanted to send yet another repairman. At this point, we were fed up. After all the fighting, arguing, phone calls, being transferred from person to person, and spending two hours at a time on the phone just to get the runaround, I realized Frigidaire was not actually taking ownership of the situation. I must have spoken to 25–30 different people throughout this entire ordeal. And almost every conversation was the same. The same scripted responses. The same apologies. The same promises. The same runaround. And not one person took ownership and actually fixed the problem.
Finally, four weeks to the day after we contacted Frigidaire about the second failure, I was speaking with Rose and insisted that she put the store where we originally purchased the refrigerator on a three-way call. The store heard what we had been dealing with. They immediately understood the situation. And unlike Frigidaire, they took action. They agreed to replace the refrigerator with another Frigidaire refrigerator. The next day, we went to the store and picked it out. It was delivered a few days later on Monday. Once again, I took another day off work to wait for a refrigerator. We plugged it in.
After a couple of hours, only the freezer was working. By the next morning, the entire refrigerator was dead and not cold. I couldn't believe it. We called the store Tuesday morning and went down there. They had us pick out a completely different brand—not Frigidaire. That refrigerator was delivered the next day. And now, after everything we have been through, I have finally had a cold, working refrigerator for 24 hours—after being without one for another 43 DAYS. Let that sink in.
We bought a brand-new refrigerator in September 2025. Since then, more than 103 days of our lives have been consumed by this refrigerator and our attempts to get Frigidaire to make things right. We have lost thousands of dollars in food. We have lost money from missed work. We have paid for repairs. We have spent countless hours on the phone. We have waited for repairmen who never showed up. We have lived out of coolers. We have kept food and drinks cold in the snow. We have repeatedly explained that we have children to feed. And through all of it, Frigidaire never once made us feel like someone actually cared enough to take ownership of the problem.
The most frustrating part is that we did everything we were supposed to do. We bought a brand-new appliance. We contacted the company when it failed. We followed their warranty process. We made ourselves available for appointments. We took time off work. We waited for parts. We made countless phone calls. And we were still left fighting for help.
I am absolutely disgusted and still in shock that we put our trust in Frigidaire and purchased a brand-new refrigerator, only to spend the next year fighting with the company to get what should have been a basic expectation: a refrigerator that works. If the store where we purchased the refrigerator had not finally stepped in and done the right thing, I honestly don't know how much longer we would still be dealing with this. And the timing makes it even more frustrating because the original one-year warranty is now coming up in September.
Frigidaire had every opportunity to make this right; it was like they were waiting for my warranty to run out. They chose not to. I would NEVER recommend a Frigidaire appliance to anyone based on this experience. I cannot speak for every Frigidaire appliance, but I can speak about our experience: this refrigerator was completely unreliable, and Frigidaire did not stand behind the product, the warranty, or us as customers.
To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I am angry. I am exhausted. I am frustrated. And most of all, I am incredibly disappointed that a company could put a family through this much stress and still make us feel like we were asking for too much simply by expecting the refrigerator we purchased to work. After all this that happened to us, Frigidaire still has not made one call to us or one email to follow up. Never again, Frigidaire.

My brand-new Frigidaire refrigerator failed in less than a week due to a bad control panel. When I reported the issue, Frigidaire told me their return window was only 24 to 48 hours after delivery and insisted that a technician come to my home. The technician diagnosed the failed control panel and told me the refrigerator wasn't worth repairing. He advised me to call Frigidaire and report his findings. When I called back, I was told to wait for the technician's report. After waiting, I was shocked to learn that instead of replacing the refrigerator, Frigidaire had decided to order parts and repair a refrigerator that had already failed during its first week of ownership. I made it clear that I did not want a repaired refrigerator. If a major component fails within days of delivery, my confidence in the product is gone. I paid for a new refrigerator, not one that immediately requires repairs.
The customer service experience was just as disappointing. I was disconnected four separate times and had to repeatedly call back and start over. In one case, I even provided my phone number in advance and asked the representative to call me back if we got disconnected. We did, and no one called back. A supervisor eventually told me that my only option was to allow another technician to replace the control panel. Although they claimed they could make no exceptions to the warranty, they offered me a $50 food-loss credit even though I didn't have food-loss coverage. Apparently exceptions can be made, just not when it comes to standing behind a defective product.
A refrigerator that fails in less than a week should be replaced, not repaired. Between the product failure, poor communication, repeated disconnects, and unwillingness to do the right thing, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Save yourself the frustration and avoid Frigidaire and Electrolux.

⭐ 1 Star — Extremely disappointed with Frigidaire. We purchased a brand-new Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator because we wanted a higher-quality appliance and expected it to be reliable. Unfortunately, our refrigerator stopped working shortly after purchasing it. We have a significant amount of food that will now need to be thrown away, including breast milk, which is especially upsetting and not something we can simply replace. What has made this experience even more frustrating is that Frigidaire is telling us we have to wait three days just for a technician to come out. We were also told that despite the refrigerator being defective and requiring a service call, the one-year warranty will still expire in February 2027 rather than being extended.
We paid more for the Gallery model expecting better quality and customer service. A brand-new refrigerator should not fail this quickly, and customers should not be left without a working refrigerator for days while losing hundreds of dollars of food. We are extremely disappointed with both the product and the way Frigidaire is handling this situation. At this point, we are asking Frigidaire to either replace this refrigerator or provide a meaningful extension of the warranty to account for the failure and repair period. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this refrigerator to research Frigidaire’s customer service and warranty experience before purchasing.

Neither the freezer nor the refrigerator section came to safe temperature. The freezer does not hit freezing and the fridge section stays above 50 degrees F, very unsafe. I registered the refrigerator with Frigidaire’s website on 7/31/26 and filed for repair visit. On 8/1/26 a technician arrived after noon. He was courteous and seemed knowledgeable. He noted the above safe temperature but could find no defect to address in the machine. I received no on site report from the tech and was told he would file a report and I would receive a copy for my records from Frigidaire by this current week. I have not at this time. Multiple contact attempts with Frigidaire online have failed due to not response.

I have had this refrigerator for only 2 years now and it has failed twice. Lost all my food both times. First time, under the factory warranty, it took two weeks to get someone to look at it. There was a defective part that the repairman was well aware of and took care of it quickly. Meanwhile, I was out of luck for 2 weeks! The second time, under Home Depot extended warranty ($100 for three years), they told me to get it fixed myself and they will reimburse me, so basically you are on your own to find a reputable repairman. Very unhelpful policy. I am still in the process of trying to get it fixed while I live out of an ice chest. Do not buy this refrigerator unless you like throwing your money away in spoiled food. I wish I could rate it less than 1!

Model # LFHG2251TF is the WORST appliance we’ve ever owned. Started out from new with circuit board failures twice. And then the ice cube maker always dumps ice cubes out of the bin and on the kitchen floor when you open the freezer, All the plastic bins and drawers break too easily. And now we open the doors to find the freezer drawer frame has a 6 inch long crack across the top. For the $1200 dollar price it sure is JUNK.

Do not buy a Frigidaire. Grew up using this brand with no problems ever. First years of marriage owned one without problems. Bought one three months ago with great expectations. Went on a cruise and refrigerator stops working. Water leakage I. Kitchen floor. Filled full of food. Repairman cannot and ordered a panel. Did not solve the problem and now awaiting for another part to reach repairman. Lord slap me if I ever consider buying another Frigidaire!

We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from Home Depot on June 27th, and it took us a few days to discover it was damaged. By the time we realized it was a lemon on July 1st with troubleshooting the temps' true readings, apparently it was too late to return it to Home Depot. Frigidaire sent a repairman out on July 15. He said the computer panel was blown. They came to replace it on July 29th to no avail. We contacted Frigidaire to let them know we want a new one as we purchased it for $1350, and that we did not want a damaged and repaired product. They refused to exchange it.

I bought a Frigidaire Gallery French door dual ice maker refrigerator in November. By December the ice maker quit working. When we called for service it took quite a while to get a repairman and he had to order the part. It took a couple weeks. Now we are more than a month out and it’s been one cancelled appointment after another. Still not fixed. Frigidaire is no help at all. I have called multiple times and they always tell me someone will be in touch within so many hours, and no call comes. So I call back and they tell me I cancelled the ticket. But I didn’t. I spent a lot of money on this refrigerator and I regret every bit of it. Never again!!!! Do better, Frigidaire!

Bought my Frigidaire in Nov 2019 and in June 2026 it let go. 7 months after extended warranty, 1 once a year I cleaned dust behind fridge and air conditioning in summer and not in a garage in an apartment. Did not have a hard life but durability was miserable. I do not recommend.

I bought a new Frigidaire at Home Depot Model FRSS2623AS, side by side. There is no light in the bottom of the Fridge. It is so dark you can't see your food. It's a very poor design and Home Depot will not take it back after 24 hours. I went bought it on July 3rd, went back on Monday July 6th they said I waited too long. I am so upset that I did not even think about a light in the lower part of the fridge side. I had to put 2 stick on lights down there that are motion detection
