    Our refrigerator has never worked since it was delivered. It has been 3 months now, and a technician has been out four times to evaluate and "repair" our refrigerator and freezer. The freezer and refrigerator never cooled after the "repair". Now the technician has ordered another part and we have to wait 3 weeks to have it "repaired". The agents have refused to connect me to a supervisor. However, they have offered an extended warranty for only $250. Really!

    I have 2 Frigidaire refrigerators and paid good money for both about 4 years ago. The only complaint I have are the displays (control panel) I have to replace both of them each year because the led lights fade out then finally go out. You would think a company like Frigidaire they would make better products. It’s really a pain when they go out.

    One of the worst refrigerators which Lennar Homes installed in their new constructions (maybe, they got in a cheap deal with Frigidaire). All the refrigerators installed in our community had several issues with this refrigerator model. I raised multiple complaints on my refrigerator and the service team replaced every single part in the refrigerator and it is still not fixed completely. Service team members are from external agencies and they wanted to show only a nice face to Frigidaire so they keep on ordering parts and replacing it instead of boldly saying the refrigerator needs a replacement. I'm super frustrated as the refrigerator stopped working for more than 10 days now and service team ordered for a replacement part which got delivered only yesterday and the service team does not have an appointment open for the next 5 days.

    When called the customer service they are asking to be patient and they cannot do anything on this matter. All the products that are sitting in the refrigerator got spoiled and had throw it in the trash. Frigidaire should be ashamed of shipping this kind of product and making the customer beg at them to fix the product. A nasty company that does not care or is concerned about customers.

    Purchased a new build home and with it we have a new appliances all new kitchen. Our refrigerator has been nothing but an issue since we moved in. Freezer door popping off do to cheap parts. Broken (damper) this from what are told regulates temperature. Everything in our refrigerator part was freezing. With no control to regulate it. Took 3 weeks for repairs. During the wait we were having issues with load engine noises coming from the refrigerator. As well as no water or ice being dispensed. Called on this and informed that the tech that would be coming out to repair first issue would have this added to his work order.

    Tech called to notify us he was on his way and first issue would be taken care of with the new damper. He had nothing on his work order for new issues but if not serious he would check it out as a courtesy. When done, he did fix the door and damper, but stated the water filter was cracked and frozen also more than likely was the cause of no water, ice and loud noises frozen but he could not replace as filters are not covered under warranty? I explained that the only reason it was cracked was because it was frozen and water when it freezes expands hence the crack. It was caused by a defect in a new refrigerator. He explained he could do nothing and suggested I call Frigidaire.

    This was a complete calamity. Even though it was caused by the defect of the refrigerator they do no provide filters and I needed to buy one. Though they will give me a 20% discount. I said no not acceptable as I had nothing to do with the broken filter it was the items issue not ours and should be replaced by the company. Told no again, I asked to speak with a supervisor and at first told that supervisors only communicate with txt / chat. I requested to speak with someone again not chat and told not possible and maybe call back? That was odd?

    Called back the next day and essentially the same runaround. Though I was transferred to a supposed supervisor that constantly put me on hold. He then hung up. "I was not rude or unprofessional at all as I own a large company with Fairly large CS department and understand and detest rude customers." I called back and was transferred now to parts. Of course they couldn't help. I called back again and was now told that they would be sending me a one time courtesy filter. I should receive it in 5 to 10 business days. Two weeks past called back told nothing was being shipped and would not be shipped as they do no cover filters. I explained what I was told and the person on the line (was very nice and cordial) stated that the other person was more than likely lying to me to have me stop calling. Wow is all that I can say. Filter from them is when checked almost $100.00 no.

    Bought a Frigidaire refrigerator and upon opening it the freezer door was badly dented. I was going to return the fridge to exchange for another but that was the last one. I really liked the size and the style of this fridge so instead of returning it for a full refund I called the company to see if they could ship out a new freezer door to replace the damaged one I just bought. They would not and you would think instead of me returning the fridge for full refund they would say sure we will ship you a new door but no this company is frugal as all get all!! No more purchases on anything Frigidaire!!!!

    If there was a zero option, I would give it. Frigidaire's policy of requiring a technician to deem a unit unrepairable before a replacement can be processed is unacceptable when Frigidaire cannot say when necessary parts will be delivered to fix a refrigerator that has failed twice. Meanwhile, we are left without a working refrigerator and no idea of when it will be fixed.

    If I could rate this company as a zero I would. Been without a fridge for five weeks. They can't get it fixed and keep ordering parts. They refuse to refund/reimburse me until they "TRY" to fix it one last time. This is the WORST company to buy an appliance from!!!! By the time they get it fixed the warranty will be ended!

    Junk, never buy. Terrible. 2 refrigerators in 2 yrs leaked coolant, 2 fans stopped. Now thermostat. 3 times lost all food fridge, freezer. Hours on phone, terrible customer service, they lie, no supervisor, never reimbursed for lost food, or small compact refrigerator they said would pay for. Many attempts to repair, their contractors are useless. Won't replace until 3 attempts, meaning 3 visit to your home to fix which they never can. Never buy Frigidaire, trust me.

    We bought a Frigidaire Top Freezer/Refrigerator in the late Spring of 2022 with a 3 year warranty, thank goodness. The first problem was getting the refrigerator doors to seal. There is a ridge at the bottom floor, in the middle, that was catching the refrigerator door at the bottom. That actually had to be filed down. The squareness of the doors to the frame was off and had to be adjusted by a warranty technician who ended up stripping two screws because he used a power tool to tighten the screws. The door seal still wasn't right (the milk was spoiling too quickly) and so I took it upon myself to adjust the doors. I had to buy two (next size up) screws (from Ace Hardware) to replace the two stripped screws. The seal still wasn't right to the refrigerator door.

    Brought in another technician to replace the entire door seal thinking that was the problem which he replaced. At that time the technician noticed that the refrigerator itself, the frame assembly, was manufactured with a dent in it around the top right corner of the refrigerator door opening. There are two screws (not the same two screws I replaced) there and it looked like the manufacturer had tightened them too much causing the dent. The door wasn't ever going to seal with that dent in the frame. The technician helped us, through his report, to get another refrigerator. We didn't buy another Frigidaire.

    If I could give less than one star, I would. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service regarding a household appliance. Less than 4 days after purchasing a brand-new Frigidaire refrigerator, the door seal needed to be replaced. The part was promised to be delivered within 3-5 business days. Turned out it was on back order and would not be delivered for another 21 days. My family had to go through the holiday with a refrigerator that would not stay closed. I would never recommend anyone to purchase a Frigidaire appliance. I wished I had read the other reviews before making the purchase.

    Hello! Firstly I want to say their "deals" aren't deals. I had my eye on a beverage fridge for a long time waiting for it to go on sale, I got a email saying their appliances were on sale and I looked. It was the exact same price. They just bumped up the original price by $100 saying it was $100 off. I emailed about it and got no response. I eventually went ahead and put the order in because it's the mini fridge I wanted, I put in for a payment plan. They had me schedule my delivery date.. and since both my husband and I are not available 24/7 I had to schedule it out 2 weeks. The day finally comes and we get a call. We live in a military base so the driver had to show his driver's license to get on base. THE DRIVER'S ID WAS EXPIRED. They wouldn't have turned him away if it was. Maybe a day or two, they would have worked something out. Which means the DRIVER'S ID was expired for a while. How could you let your ID expire when you literally do that for your job?

    I got pretty upset because as I said we aren't available 24/7. They rescheduled it for the following Monday which was 4 days after. My husband had a over night 17 hour shift. Came home at 9am and was told they'd be there at 12pm. We contacted them and they said that delivery time is between 12-4:30pm so my tired husband had to stay up for even longer while I was working. We got a call at almost 6pm from a national call center saying they couldn't deliver the fridge and to reschedule again. At this point I was frustrated. We went on a payment plan for this product and I already made 2 payments. I just asked for a refund and they couldn't refund my card so I could just pay the remainder of the payment plan. So I have no idea what is going to happen to my 2 payments but I'm so mad. Horrible customer service all around, will never buy their products again and I will spread the word to others. Negative 100000 stars.

    Do not waste your time or money on this product. We bought a Frigidaire Galaxy refrigerator in October of 2023. Since then we have had to use our warranty several times for issues that should not be occurring. The issue is still not resolved. Food/drink on the door freezes. The water dispenser now stopped working. We are shocked. The warranty expired one month ago. All they offered is for us to buy an extended warranty. Why? Either fix or replace this unit. We are very unhappy, and angry because now we have to pay for the continued service.

    My fridge ice maker broke exactly 14 months after the purchase of my fridge. Main Office is not helpful. They referred me to a technician locally and their technician charge me $399 for nothing and the problem is still not solved. Please please do not buy their product. This is a garbage company.

    Absolutely disappointed with our purchase during Covid. Customer service was shut down with no recourse when called.. Unit has fractures all over the plastic on the shelf, failed door, plastics broke easily, rust forming after 2 years.. Unit is noisy at night. Model FFSS2615TP3. Granted it's not a top end model but door gaskets failed, shelfs failed. Unit is stress cracked at bottom, inside freezer and fridge.

    DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE APPLIANCES. This is by far the worst appliance I've purchased ever. The refrigerator started falling apart in the first 30-60 days. It was under the manufacturer warranty and they couldn't find a company to fix it. You end up on hold forever, getting disconnected, or no one shows up to actually repair it. This refrigerator has a faulty door (according to the repair person), it leaks, and the food goes bad because it won't stay cold. The lack of customer service is the most frustrating part. It literally is falling apart and no one from the company makes it right.

    Frigidaire sucks so bad, I wish I could rate it a zero or negative number. We bought one of these crappy refrigerators about 6 months ago. The entire unit went dead on a Friday night. No repairman could arrive until the following Monday night. Then they discovered the main control panel was bad and had to order a new one. Here we are a week later, no panel, no fridge, no food because it all spoiled & it's very expensive. If I were in the refrigerator business, I'd have a 24-hour service center to ensure my customers were covered in an event like this. Not Frigidaire, they got your money and don't give a crap about you any longer. This is a horrible company than makes horrible products and they issue horrible service. I WILL NEVER LOOK AT A FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCT EVER AGAIN!!!

    I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY... We purchased a Fridge last year and either the compressor or fan is blown already. Call customer service and they're a bunch of fools no help because my warranty is a month over... so basically they sell items that only are built to last a year

    I can't believe no paper manual is available for this refrigerator. Not everyone is computer wise and what happens if your computer goes down. This is 55 pages and to print it out is uncalled for. I asked the chat how do I stop the ice cubes for vacation time. She didn't know there are no instructions. This is a cheap item so needed by many.

    6 months we got it. Air filter light came on tonight. I slid the lid open and filter had not been installed. I don't mind getting one but it hasn't ever had one. How much damage did it cause? Or shorten the life of their fridge?

    The Frigidaire refrigerator that I purchased did not work. The freezer would not freeze it would only slightly cool. It took 3 weeks for them to get a tech out and once the tech came out, he discovered it was the compressor. The techs should have extra compressors available quickly. He said that it would be here Weds- Friday and it wasn’t. So then customer service told me that they didn’t have the part.

    The customer service person refused to send me a new fridge because it was reparable but they didn’t have the part. They wouldn’t give me a tracking # for the part or expedite the tech coming out until the part arrived to my house. The part and tech scheduling will take another 2 weeks. And that will make it over 1 month without a working fridge. It was a really bad experience with the warranty. Lowes wouldn’t return the fridge because they need notification that the fridge didn’t work in 2 days which there is a 2 day lag time in the fridge working anyway so how does that make sense.

    DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Frigidaire has the absolutely worst customer service. I ordered a fridge a month ago and have had to call at least 20 times in the past month to figure out when the fridge is being delivered, and still to this day no one can give me a straight answer on when it will be delivered or even how to contact any of the delivery teams. Customer service has been dismissive and incredibly rude. They have messed up at least 6 times over the past month delivering to the incorrect state and not processing the new orders correctly and then RE-DELIVERING TO THE WRONG STATE. The amount of time wasted trying to track down this refrigerator that I still do not have is absolutely unacceptable and I am beyond unsatisfied with Frigidaire.

    Home depot sells Frigidaires. Please do not buy a Frigidaire from anyone. 3 times in less than 3 months the tried to fix a refrigerator/ freezer that couldn't maintain constant temperature. Repair guy (contractor) should of told Frigidaire after the third time it was unrepairable and a new one should of been brought to swap out, no questions asked immediately. It's not clear why they couldn't fix it the first time? Very frustrating and thank god Home depot took it back before 90 days was up. Do your homework PLEASE.

    Garbage Product and Garbage warranty service. Refer/freezer model FRSS2623A $1,200.00. First one delivered the water in door was not connected at factory and flooded the electronics in the door shorting it out. Appliance store had to deliver another one. Then, seal on water filter failed. Then ice maker failed. Then refer side either freezed foods and exploded soda pop cans all over inside or to was not refrigerating at all. Extended warranty cost $590.00 and warranty service is terrible too. Wait more than one hour on phone and /or use chatbot that is a mess which ended in “wait time is more than 10 minutes".

    Buyer beware if you don't want to be in a situation like me then you will not buy anything from Frigidaire. I paid six thousand dollars for a dual refrigerator and freezer and the refrigerator started freezing everything on the top shelves. I contacted Frigidaire for repair appointment, and it took them 3 weeks to find someone to come out. Long story short today is November 10, 2024 and the refrigerator is still broken. They have sent at least 4 different companies who don't have any information about was was done previously. They have been here 8 times and just keep trying to replace parts without even knowing if they were already replaced. I am getting ready to call them into court over breach of contract. I requested a replacement several times but a little over a year later the refrigerator isn't fixed.

    I do NOT recommend their warranty. They take forever to come out and then when they finally do and order parts. They will disappoint by canceling on you randomly and take an extra week to come out just to say they can't work on it because it's a 2 hr job they have other routes so you need to reschedule. Our fridge has been broken since mid September it is now November 8th. Very disappointed. I'm ready to buy a whole new fridge. I have ZERO faith in this company.

    Hello, I'm a very unhappy customer of Frigidaire and this is a true and accurate summary of my troubles with a Frigidaire refrigerator that I purchased May 14, 2024, since the date of the purchase of this brand new refrigerator, it has stopped working on me twice, the first time, I loss all of my refrigerated groceries, inwhich was a very costly mishap, so it took me about 3 weeks for the first fix to be done, due to the part not being in stock, so I suffer for 3 plus weeks without being able to have refrigerated food, Josh the tech was very nice and friendly and did infact fix that issue, once the part arrived but now, this same frigerator has broken down once again but this time, I got food poisoning, due to it.

    The tech, this time is also very nice and friendly, he tells me that it's an issue with the freezer door not sealing correctly, he believe and that due to that, the air is not pushing down from the top to cool off the fridge below nor the interior freezer section, the freezer top wall was holding condensation and once the tech removed the back freezer panel off, I seen where the grates where all frozen to the point the tech had to scrape the very thick ice off, before being able to remove the part, so basically the fan motor was unable to turn and the fridge was sounding like a loud motorcycle, and I was afraid that it would set my house on fire, so now, I have to wait another 2 plus weeks for the door to arrive and the tech to come back and install it and hope that fix the issue, because the tech informed me, if it not the door, he doesn't know what's wrong with it.

    But my problem isn't with either techs, it the company itself, that apparently doesn't give a heck about their customers, now, here we are right at the holidays and I'm once again having to deal with this brand new lemon of a fridge, when they could simply replaced it, unfortunately, I can't purchase any refrigerated groceries, I can't make sense of now of this I've loss expensive groceries and gotten food poisoning due to having to keep having deal with this crap, I make my monthly Lowe's payment on their lemon product that I can't get any service out of, I wouldn't advise anyone to purchase this brand ever, they don't do their customers right! Please avoid being stress the heck out.

    I gave one star but deserve none. Horrible service and products. Frigidaire, refrigerators are easy to break. That's is a fact. I am a property manager and Realtor I had to hear enough complaints. I called almost three weeks ago to use their services and send a technician to work on a 2022 refrigerator, frigidaire by the way, It does not have warranty, but I did not care I just want it fixed.

    They made the tenant wait a whole day from 9-5pm, she had to miss work. The tech never showed up, then next day I made another appointment and nothing. I have called for a refund, since I paid ahead, but they are holding the money and with no excuse. Every time I called they just say refund will be sent. What can I do? For Real!

    We purchased a Frigidaire Pro series refrigerator with a dripping water dispenser and very uneven cooling. Items near the sides and back will freeze. This was NOT resolved with a service call. The micro/stove combo has a tiny trim piece at the top and interior of the door. Only 1/16" x 30" long is exposed with pieces cracking off. A plastic piece at the hinge also broke At 18 months old, the repair will cost us $250. We are 65 years old and have been through several new construction homes. This is the poorest appliance experience we have had. If issues continue, we will replace them with a brand that we have had previous success with.

    When we purchased our house, all the appliances were Frigidaire. So far, we've had to replace the ice maker which cracked, as well as a shelf unit that held a storage unit. However, at eight years old the fridge, a side-by-side model, still performs very well.

    Absolutely garbage, I will never buy anything from this company again. Almost immediately after purchasing, the fridge started making a loud, humming sound, which eventually became a loud pop/bang and what I could only describe as a plane engine starting up. For over a year they came back several times and each time replaced a small part that had nothing to do with what was causing the problem. When I attempted to get it declared a lemon, they pulled a fast one and found some loophole to bypass it (the first several months the work was done through the Lowes coverage and not Frigidaire so they refused to count all those calls).

    Now, 5 years later, the drawers have all fallen off. Each of the wheels on the drawers either came off or the plastic rail it rode on broke completely off. I reached out to their support team and they used a few words as possible to assist and ultimately just kept copy/pasting the sentence "Call your local authorized repair company to arrange repairs." Of course it's all on my dime. What made me laugh the most was how they started the conversation tonight by saying they only use quality materials that have undergone rigorous testing. I find that laughable. So I guess I have that one fridge that is the anomaly? Ya, I don't think so either.

    I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator for $3,000, expecting a reliable, high-quality appliance. However, it's been out of service for over two months, and the experience has been nothing short of disappointing. The fridge broke down shortly after purchase, and I've been waiting ever since for parts and a service technician, all while Frigidaire keeps dropping the ball on updates and follow-through. Not only have I had to follow up continuously on my own, but there’s also been zero compensation or real effort to make this right. For an appliance at this price point, I expected much better service and support. This experience has left me without a functioning refrigerator for far too long, and I'm still unsure when it will be.

    DO NOT! Buy or deal with this product or Frigidaire as a company! I purchased this product on August 17 2024, it lasted a month and 2 weeks! When you call to replace it, their policy is they have to attempt 3 separate repairs before they consider replacing it, leaving the customer with the inconvenience of dealing with a 3rd party repair service, I had food that went bad, and lost hours at work scheduling the repair service. Of course when the guy came to repair he didn’t have the part he needed so they had to order it! Then reschedule to come back out! Meanwhile I’m without a refrigerator!

    This past Friday Oct 25, 2024, the guy came to repair it! It still doesn’t work, now I have to wait till Monday to call back and schedule them to come out again possibly losing more hours at work! Over a brand new refrigerator! When they should just have replaced it as to not inconvenience the customer! I am still without a refrigerator! Frigidaire you are a horrible company! My next call is to the local news over this horrible ordeal!

    I purchased in nov of 2023 for 1200 dollars! It stopped closing in 3 months. I have been calling them and they have deemed it unrepairable and will do absolutely nothing more! This is absolute highway robbery! I am a 42 year old widowed mother caring for my dementia ridden deceased husband's mom and work part time because I am a full time student! That 1200 dollars was a month pay for me right now and I must buy another one!     The Frigidaire refrigerator I bought became defective (stopped working) within 6 1/2 months. I had trouble with Frigidaire service getting a service call scheduled on a timely basis. Then, after the service tech diagnosed the defective part, Frigidaire told me they ship parts in 7 - 10 business days (no overnight shipment). I don't think they care about customers because, who can go without a fridge for over 2 weeks (that's how long the entire process is taking). Also, the service tech told me he had replaced 4-5 of the same defective part recently. If that is 1 tech in my area, imagine how many are defective nationwide..

    This was the most expensive refrigerator that we have ever purchased. The bottom drawer in the fridge would never stay closed. Replaced it and it still won’t. Several pieces of cheap plastic have already broken. The seal is broken and has to be replaced. The door flap design is terrible and broken. The compare works when it wants to. It will only cost me another $600 to attempt to fix it again. It is under 5 years old. Do yourself favor and never buy a Frigidaire. My repairman said I would do better to just buy a $600 fridge and donate this expensive paperweight. Their warranties are worth almost nothing. They will wait you out until they expire. As soon as we got it I had regrets. It was easy to tell that it wasn’t made well once we used it. The fridge freezes in the back but yet things mold over in two days due to the lack of seal. I will never buy anything made by Frigidaire again. Ever!

    After 3 months of purchase our Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator the freezer went out. After 4 months of several technicians trying to fix, still not working. This morning there was water on the floor and the refrigerator is now not cooling and is now out. Total waste of money. Frigidaire does not care if their products are defective.     I have a Frigidaire Refrigerator model FGHS2655PF5A which uses a ULTRAWF water filter. The instructions states to push the filter into the housing and to replace push it again to release the filter. This doesn't work. I have to call service to get the filter out of the housing which breaks the holding mechanism costing a lot of money to replace. This happens every time I replace the filter. I have been using Frigidaire filters but will be buying after market filters to save some money since apparently, it doesn't seem to make any difference. I am starting my research for a new refrigerator because I can't call service every time I need to replace the filter.

    If you’re smart you will stay away from Frigidaire refrigerators. The worst repair support. My refrigerator is 5 months old and the ice machine has been broken for over a month. Good luck trying to get it fixed. They finally called me and told me they found someone to repair it only to find out i have to wait another 3 weeks for it to get fixed. Don’t ask any questions about your refrigerator cause they want the serial number in which they have right in front of them. I have to stand on my tippy toes or get a chair to actually see it since it’s inside on the top shelf.

    Purchased Frigidaire refrigerator 2/24. In September it stopped cooling and freezing. Arrogant service tech came out after I waited at home for 8 hours. Said it needed a compressor and two additional parts. Told me he would be back Oct. 11-I think 16 days without a refrigerator is unacceptable. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.     Purchased a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator late July, 2024. (Two doors on top and bottom freezer.) Noticed in late August that my milk was rapidly spoiling. Thought it was bad milk. Then noticed my cheese was getting moldy and a carton of sour cream I had purchased 4 days prior was moldy when I opened the container. Purchased 3 different refrigerator thermometers over a week's time just to make sure I was correct that the unit was not keeping consistent temperature. I cold not get the temperature to go below 40 degrees (F.) I followed all troubleshooting advice in the manual to no avail.

    Unlike others, I have had no issues with customer service. I was treated respectfully on the phone and given the name and number of the repair service in my area that they contacted to evaluate the situation. Repairman came today (9/24/24) and determined the fan is not working and circuit board is defective. He ordered parts and said it may be a week or more before they come in. Luckily, I had kept my 25 year old GE refrigerator and put in my garage. I had to throw out all of my dairy products, mayo, salad dressings and wilted veggies. Luckily, the freezer has remained working, however, I emptied the unit completely as to not take a chance on losing all my freezer food.

    The refrigerator was purchased due to the size fitting into the existing space in my home. I liked that the shelving was glass and adjustable, the side compartments were a heavier plastic than other brands, freezer space was very accommodating, refrigerator section and freezer were well lit. Huge disappointment that the unit has failed so quickly. I would suggest that if you have this model that you get a refrigerator thermometer and monitor the temperature. Mine fluctuated throughout the day sometimes dropping 5 or more degrees then cooling again but never as cool as the circuit board was set to and not to a "food safe" temperature. This is apparently a widespread problem, however, the reviews I read prior to purchase were all pretty good.

    I purchased at Home Depot after doing quite a bit of research on line. I did not recall reading about this issue or my purchase may have been negated. Will see if this repair corrects the problem and if so, how long it lasts. I did purchase an extended warranty at time of purchase. This issue falls under the one year warranty since the unit is only a few months old.

    To replace the 22 years old GE refrigerator I bought Frigidaire in 2022 Model FRSS2323AW. I did not connect water for ice maker, removed the icemaker basket and use the space for food. From very beginning I have to set temperature on highest settings, for freezer and refrigerator. The food in refrigerator on lowest shelf was freezing, On highest point in refrigerator there is an opening connecting freezer with the refrigerator, with a warning not to place anything in front of it. This is a lost space! To avoid food freezing on the lowest shelf I closed of about 75% of the gap on middle self with rolled up several sheets of bounty paper. For several days I measured the temperatures on all levels, and the fix is satisfactory. I think it is a shame to design such refrigerator.

    We are limited to sizes. We have an old home so we picked the French door stainless steel with the freezer on the bottom ever since we got this refrigerator it has been junk. The two drawers inside fell apart. The wheels just broke off so you have to like pick the drawers up that would be the vegetable and the fruit drawers and now all of a sudden, when you open the refrigerator, the bottom part where the door closes inside is completely cracking and if you look under the doors, the part of the rubber insulation is just all coming apart. I mean it looks like a refrigerator that’s 20 years old. No I take that back because the refrigerator we had which is a Whirlpool that we moved into the garage is about 30 years old and I wish I had that back in here.

    We would give a no star review if possible. Horrible experience with this company not caring. Purchased a brand new Frigidaire refrigerator and within less than 3 months it stopped working. Had just went grocery shopping and lost over $300 in food. Live in NC, this was during the extreme heatwave too. Absolutely no way to store food nor provide cold drinks. Contacted Lowe’s and Electrolux, made a BBB C/O. Electrolux responded unprofessionally and W/O care. They consider the repair to be “enough”. Well my husband works hard and I am disabled. We were the ones W/O for almost a month before this piece of junk was even repaired. The technician even stated it was the refrigerator and basically this should not have happened. Tech came, ordered a part that took an additional week to arrive, then postponed the repair for another week. Total time was well over 3 weeks closer to a month. Unprofessional and unacceptable.

    It cost us the lost food, not to say the additional expense to get food out. These companies today are nothing like they were years ago, pitiful & sorry. They call themselves professionals? Ha ha ha, I hardly thinks so. I would never treat my customers as such. Ultimately my husband paid full price for a reconditioned refrigerator all the while costing us more money for this incident.     We bought a Frigidaire from Home Depot and there was a 48 hour return policy on it but we didn’t know that. The refrigerator is freezing our food in bottom 2 shelves. According to the repair man, this is a problem with this particular model. We called Frigidaire customer service which is all people from other countries and we cannot understand. A man named Summer and a lady named Jem from India were so rude and wouldn’t let me talk to a manager. Jem hung up on me and Summer just kept telling me he needed to confirm my address before I could talk to a manager. He said my address was wrong in their computers but they delivered it to the correct address.

    I gave him my address and he just said it didn’t match and wouldn’t help me anymore. I asked to speak to someone that I could understand and he kept telling me I had to just call back but they are all from India. This Summer person was sarcastic and rude! I feel helpless. Home Depot won’t do anything either. What is happening here? I am probably going to have to buy a whole new fridge. This is a nightmare. Do not buy a Frigidaire! Why is Home Depot not helping us?     My fridge was a few months old when something went wrong. It was under warranty. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I figured it was a big name appliance so they would resolve my issue fast.... 6 weeks later I'M STILL WITHOUT A WORKING FRIDGE - I'm literally living out of coolers cooling my food with bags of ice - FOR A MONTH AND A HALF. They contract out with repair companies to fix their appliances, this repair company is an hour and a half away! They were booked 20 days out, when they did come they didn't fix it on the spot, they ordered the parts and it took TWO WEEKS TO GET THE PART then they tell me it's going to take 3 weeks before they can install the part because they are booked.

    I spoke to Frigidaire (who reroutes the calls to another country and the rep was not understanding how serious my situation was). They should have got another repair place to come fix my fridge- someplace closer who could do it in a timely manner or just replace the fridge as a courtesy. I will NEVER get another appliance through this company. I have an extended warranty with Lowe's but since the fridge is still under manufacturer warranty I am stuck dealing with them. They seriously do not care.

    My refrigerator has had issues since day one. Due to life circumstances, I was unable to use the warranty within the year. My refrigerator did not blow cold enough air in the refrigerator. I had a technician come out to repair the refrigerator. The issue was the damper. The damper between the refrigerator and freezer is broken so it was opening and closing at the wrong time.

    Once the damper was repaired, the refrigerator was blowing air. That was too cold. Even adjusting the settings turning a fridge on and off, unplugging it, resetting the breaker, nothing help. I purchased a refrigerator that was defective from the start. When talking to the Frigidaire agent she was short and not helpful. This is an issue that apparently occurs frequently with Frigidaire refrigerators. It doesn’t seem like a big deal in the beginning of the refrigerator freezing the food but over time it’s very frustrating. Especially when you have kids to take care of that just want cereal and you go downstairs and you see that the milk is frozen. I’ve called him multiple times to try to get a resolution to the issue, but unfortunately there was nothing that they could do. It’s very disappointing and it’s a lot of money spent.

    I recently had a recall on the ice bucket compartment on my 2018 Frigidaire refrigerator. I ordered the item -it was sent to me but I am unable to install it or remove the old one. Customer service at Frigidaire refuses to help me and want to charge $100 for a service call!!!! Meanwhile people are choking and have lacerations from the pieces of plastic in the ice bucket.     If I could I would rate my experience as less than 1. I bought a Frigidaire GRSC2352AF3 refrigerator 14 months ago. It worked poorly the entire time we owned it, freezing our food in the refrigerator even when we had it set at the highest temperature. The interior lights worked intermittently and it stopped working altogether last night. It cost over $1300 and that averages out to about $100/month. Do yourself a favor and avoid purchasing a Frigidaire refrigerator. Ours was junk and because it was after 1 year when it stopped working, the company will do nothing to help us get it fixed. This is extremely lousy customer service and certainly speaks volumes about Frigidaire and the value they place in their customers. I will never purchase another product made by them and would advise you to do the same.

    If I can save even one person a refrigerator nightmare it will be a plus. I bought a new Frigidaire Refrigerator. Woke up the very first morning and everything was frozen solid. A loss of $250.00 in food. After a few days of adjusting food placement and turning down the cold settings on their recommendation still freezing solid.     I bought a refrigerator from Frigidaire and it went out and then they said they would send a technician. The technician got lost, he never came so they sent a second technician, that technician and it never came so then they sent another technician and that they could never came. Wow now I have a boat anchor, no refrigerator and no food and I'm in the middle of the mountain where I need a refrigerator to keep my food so I can survive.

    On August 5, 2024, a service agent came out to repair my refrigerator. He was very unprofessional and rude. This same agent have been to my resident twice for the same issue that he refuse to fix, when it was explained to him what the issue was and that it was not correct the first time he became loud and aggressive saying that I was holding him hostage and he was recording me and he was going to call the police, I have NEVER had anyone talk to me the way this service agent talked to me. I felt threaten and violated in my own home. This agent should not be a representative for any company.

    I am beyond frustrated. My brand new refrigerator stopped working about two month back. Frigidaire is continuing giving me run around instead of fixing the issue. Their customer service is horrible, they do not seem to understand what it likes not to have a working refrigerator for over two months. They are wasting time by sending poorly qualified technicians few times already. So far they were not able find the issue or part it required. We have been purchasing most of our food, water from outside which costing us hundreds each month. They never updated the status or contacted me to keep informed. It takes hour to get a hold of someone and often I needed to provide information to get an update.

    They have very poor communication between the repair company and them. When I asked for a replacement, they kind of avoid answering it. They need send a master technician one more time to see if they can fix it. Apparently they are waiting to warranty period runs out. If anyone planning to purchase a Frigidaire refrigerator, I hope my experience will help you.

    My fridge broke down within 3 yrs of purchase in October 2023. Fridge Air fixed it for around $1000 and asked me to buy additional warranty for $219 each for the fridge and the freezer on the same day it was fixed which was October 19th, 2023. 9 months after the compressor was replaced, it broke again on July 5th, 2024. Technicians came twice to and told me that they would have to order parts and will keep me posted. Did not hear back from them. Called customer three times and the same answer. They don't know when they will get the part and that the technician would reach out. But neither happens.

    When they sold me the additional warranty, they told me that the fridge would be replaced if it cannot be fixed which is the case now. Spoke to a customer service agent for 50 mins on 8/1 and she told me she would get me an answer of when it would be fixed. I received on 8/2 saying that the parts are backordered and no ETA. This has been their standard response every time I call them. How is this an acceptable resolution?

    Bought a Gallery 4 door refrigerator in July 2023. Started having issues in October 2023, hasn't work correctly since. They have opened 11 service tickets, numerous technicians from 2 warranty companies, replaced numerous parts... and after last visit I now have a refrigerator that doesn't work at all... lost $$$ on food but no receipt on refund. I even contact the BBB (Better Business Bureau) Case #** April 2024. But apparently the company pays them too much for them to follow through.     Customer service and company lacks ethics and fair judgement. We bought a new fridge from Frigidaire which was not working properly and has a manufacturer defect. Upon contacting customer support they said they agreed to provide with the replacement but won’t remove the fridge doors to bring it in our unit demanded us to hire installers otherwise they won’t provide the replacement!     Short story:
    1.My refrigerator started having problems only 3 years after purchase.
    2. The service person sent out to fix the refrigerator not only did not fix the fridge, but broke it completely so that it is now non-functional. He left it in that condition and said there was nothing more he could do.

    3. When I called customer service, the person I spoke with said there was nothing they could do other than refund the initial repair fee. When I asked to speak to the supervisor, the supervisor refused to speak to me.

    The long story:

    About 3-4 months ago an error code on my refrigerator panel appeared: Er CE. The ice maker had stopped working so I figured it had something to do with that. Other than that the refrigerator was functioning properly. I called about a month ago to schedule the repair. A service person came out a few days later and said certain parts needed to be ordered and another technician would need to come out. The appointment was made for 2 weeks later, for July 19,2024. The technician arrived, he worked on the refrigerator for a while and at the end deemed it “irreparable”. Before he left we noticed the interior light was not working and asked him to get that working before he left. He did something and said he couldn’t get the light back on.

    After he left we realized not only did the light stop working but the refrigerator STOPPED WORKING ALL TOGETHER. The cooling systems in both the refrigerator and freezer were no longer functioning, water spout no longer worked, and basically nothing was functioning in the fridge. Please remember, the ONLY problem prior to him coming was the error code and no ice maker.

    I called customer service to resolve this issue (maybe send out another repair person to see if the damage done by the previous repair person could be done?? Maybe have Frigidaire replace the fridge?? I would of course still be willing to pay the original fee for the repair in either case). The customer service person said there was nothing she could do other than offer a discount code for a new refrigerator. I asked to speak to her supervisor and after being put on hold to transfer me to the supervisor, the agent came back and reported that the supervisor has declined to speak to me.

    Obviously we could have lived without an ice maker, but due to whatever the technician did, we no longer have access to a working refrigerator. This is an issue outside of warranty (the refrigerator is no longer covered under warranty). This is an issue directly caused by the technician. It is the company's responsibility to make this right and they simple won't. Poor quality product and even poorer quality customer service. I'll never buy from Fridgidaire again.

    My Frigidaire refrigerator FFTR1821TS8 is approximately 5 years old. First year the top shelf on the door cracked at the attachment clip. Manufacturer sent a new one, which did the same thing within a few months. Duct tape to the rescue. Then it happened to the one in the middle of the door. Again, duct tape as I was not going to pay for something so defective again…the tape is better than the bad design. About 2 months ago, the plastic that held the deli drawer runner to the rear of the shelf cracked at the rear and the drawer collapsed. Then the plastic trim cracked on the front of the top shelf inside the fridge, I duct taped again.

    Today the rear piece of plastic the goes along the back of the middle shelf to support the glass shelf failed and it collapse onto the bottom contents. The plastic had disintegrated. If a carton of eggs and bacon are too heavy for the cheap, brittle plastic to handle, that is bizarre. No amount of tape can mend this. Never again will I purchase from this company.

    So I purchase a fridge 4 months ago. Took the service guy 2 months to come out. When he did another month and a half for the part. Now they call me and said there's been a problem so now I have to wait longer. I have cancer. I've been putting ice in the fridge. I mean in an ice chest for over 4 months alone. That's over $350 in money to keep my cancer medicine cold. Why is this happening? What did I do? Your thermostat and your refrigerators you guys know about that.     Model # FGHB2868TF7 - French Door Refrigerator. I had purchase a Frigidaire Gallery Appliance package in December 2021. The Refrigerator shelving broke within the first two weeks. It is very cheap and cheesy. The the motor went in the Freezer less that 6 months. I called and they only extended the warranty for 6 months. As of May 2024 the Refrigerator totally died, the Compressor and the Ice make and water valve went . Also I purchase the microwave which went too. They stated that the motherboard was bad. Frigidaire did absolutely nothing to resolve my complaints and basically said that they were out of warranty. No appliances should die within a 2 and 1/2 year life expectancy. I am trying to see how to file a class Action lawsuit because this is unacceptable and ROBBERY!!!

    I purchased a Frigidaire Refrigerator from Lowe's and was told there was a one year factor warranty from Electrolux so I believed it would solve any repair issues. However, after 6 months, this unit stopped cooling and I was advised to call Frigidaire customer service for repair, which I did. I have called many times, sometimes waiting on the phone up to 45 minutes to talk with someone. So far, there have been four different technicians sent by Frigidaire to diagnose the problem. I listened to them report to Frigidaire's "master technician" on the phone after each call and seen their written reports.

    The unit uses a highly flammable type of freon they do not deal with. So far, no technician has been found that can repair this unit. They tell me and Electrolux it can't be repaired. It's been about a month now and this refrigerator is still not working. Each time I call customer service for a status report, I always get another person and another 3-5 business days to the next call. If the next call doesn't get the repair done, it always seems to be excuse from customer service on why no corrective action is taken.

    Customer service agents I have talked with from this company are all based in Asia and seem powerless to help, other than referring the matter to their "service locator team" for resolution in the next 3-5 business days. The reasons they have given on why they haven't repaired the unit include 1) the technician was not qualified to repair the unit, 2) their office not getting the technician reports on time and 3) when received, reports are not properly signed by the technician.

    If technicians sent are not qualified, why did Electrolux schedule appointments with them and waste everyone's time and money? Each time I call lately, their "service locators" just schedule repair appointments over and over with the same technicians who refuse to make any more calls. Again, they all say the unit cannot be repaired. There are no more technicians within an hours drive that will now make any calls to repair this unit. They have already told Frigidaire this and keep refusing their work orders. What is happening here? I have a Frigidaire refrigerator I paid good money for that doesn't work. There are no more repair options. The unit cannot be repaired. Why doesn't Frigidaire honor their factory warranty and replace the unit?

    We have a Frigidaire model FPRU19F8RFC. It is seven years old and now will need a $1,800 repair. The evaporator has such a small lumen that the refrigerant is now clogging it. The repairman says this is a common problem. This is an expensive unit as this unit is mated with the separate freezer. The drain area from the evaporator has almost rusted through at this point. You can see the tiny copper coolant tubing. Why they would use this size, escapes logic. Also note the rust around the drain. The cost of this repair averages out to be about $250/year to use this piece of junk. I could buy a cheap new refrigerator for about $400. I could have bought three of these over the last seven years and still had money left over. It is ridiculous that these units are made so poorly. Do not buy this style of refrigerator from Electrolux.

We had 3 months left on our warranty when it broke. 9 tech visits, dozens of customer service calls and canceled/rescheduled appointments, and 6 months later they tell us they will not honor the warranty because it is expired. They offered a small rebate on a new refrigerator if we wanted to buy one. No thanks! This $1330.00 one was less than one year old!     After owning a Frigidaire gallery refrigerator for 4 years, the entire seal system went out. Most manufacturers have a 5-year warranty on this system, but Frigidaire only offers a one year warranty. Unfortunately, I purchased another Frigidaire Prr model refrigerator. After 8 days, this refrigerator stopped cooling. After much arguing and having them leave me for 3 1/2 months without a refrigerator in my kitchen, Frigidaire finally replaced it with a minimum rebate.     After years of always having to buy used appliances, we purchased this brand new Frigidaire Gallery Series refrigerator as part of a four-appliance package deal through Lowe's in April 2024. First of all, it took 10 days for it to be delivered (more of a Lowes issue). About six weeks after installation, we started getting an intermittent "HI! error code on the freezer, which became more frequent. We tried all of the troubleshooting options including a hard reset. First, we called Lowes, but since it was more than 30 days, they would not take the refrigerator back, and they said we would need to contact Frigidaire for a warranty claim. After waiting on hold with Frigidaire for about 50 MINUTES, I finally spoke with someone from what appeared to be a non-US customer support center. They scheduled a service call for the next day.

    The technician arrived as scheduled, was knowledgeable about the product, and quickly diagnosed we had a bad compressor. He ordered the necessary parts on the spot. However, he said it would take 3-5 business days for the part to be shipped to our home, and he said he could not install the new parts for another 10 days. Now we're preparing to throw away 15- 20 lbs of chicken and beef. And the Frigidaire warranty excludes food spoilage from their warranty.

    Needless to say, I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED with this "new" product and the customer support. Because of their defective product, we are not only inconvenienced for 10 days but are facing a financial loss due to food spoilage. While Frigidaire is paying to fix the refrigerator, they don't appear to be in any hurry to do so. Granted, we may have one of those "lemons" than can happen in the manufacturing process, but at this point, I don't know if I would purchase a Frigidaire refrigerator in the future (especially, since the life expectancy of most new appliances is 7-10 years. As the old saying goes..."Buyer beware!"

    Terrible experience. We bought a high-end Frigidaire refrigerator a few years ago and it has been a total lemon.     I’d rate my experience less than 1 star if I could. I dissuade you from buying from this company. The ice and water dispenser stopped working on my fridge. The company keeps sending techs - 4 in total now over the past 4 months and none have repaired the fridge and each appointment is about 3-4 weeks apart. My appointment for today was then cancelled as they suddenly could not locate the warranty on my unit. In this new development, it’s going to take 7-10 business days to “activate” the warranty, which they had previously recognized. The customer service rep was so rude. He also would not tell me his name and identified himself by the number “seven”. Spend your money elsewhere.

    Purchase in 2024, 6 months later the dispenser on freezer door cracked, they replaced and per tech it is defect in material being used. Now 6 months later it has done the same thing and Frigidaire is refusing to cover saying it isn't covered. They were not concerned that it makes their company look bad. I have had this brand all my life and will never purchase another frigidaire product nor will I ever recommend it. They should cover it since they know it is a manufacturer defect.     Just bought refrigerator/freezer. First already not working correctly right out of the box. Second loudest refrigerator I have ever heard. The high pitched noise will drive you and your pets crazy. Third supposed to be no fingerprint unit. However, they didn't make the handles no fingerprint. The handles look like a toddler with jelly hands fingerprinting a mirror. Ridiculous. Buyer beware. DO NOT BUY.

    Less than a year ago we bought a side by side Frigidaire refrigerator with ice and water in the door. Immediately after the installers left I had to call them back as the entire refrigerator seal was not sealing at all. They told me to hold a hair dryer on the entire seal which took a long time and did not work. They returned about a week later and installed a new seal. Again I had to hold a hair dryer all along the seal. This time it worked, but took a couple hours to do it. Also the plastic covering does not come off completely leaving little pieces of plastic sticking out all around the outside. Just enough to see but not to get off.

    Next the crisper door from the start began popping out of the notch it was supposed to fit in. Just a month ago after trying to fit the corner piece back together it completely broke off. While trying to deal with that I noticed the entire top of the freezer drawer had spidering cracks completely across the entire door top, which is plastic. I have tried calling. The man who was hard to understand due to a language barrier told me to email them with pictures after being on hold for 30 minutes. I Immediately sent them an email with pictures attached. 3 weeks later and still no response. I will never buy this brand again. My daughter just called to see what I would recommend as her refrigerator is going out. I told her whatever she does, DO NOT BUY A FRIGIDAIRE!!!!

    I have replaced the two shelves twice since I purchased my refrigerator. Each time totaling $119 plus shipping which comes out to approximately $140 each time. Frigidaire wouldn't even waive the shipping. The shelves are expensive and are made of a very poor quality product. They crack easily. I can't wait until the whole thing stops working so that I can replace it. I would not recommend the Frigidaire brand to anyone. A unhappy customer.

    What a nightmare! We have had NOTHING but issues with this Frigidaire refrigerator!! Save yourselves! Do not purchase any of their products. I trusted in Frigidaire for years but I will NEVER buy another Frigidaire product again!!!! I am beyond frustrated. Our refrigerator just beeps constantly, this is the second time in less than a year we had this problem. They put a new motherboard in it before but, of course, the warranty has run out and now I either have to purchase a new warranty or pay out-of-pocket for someone to come fix it! This is not the only issue we’ve had and we’ve only owned a little over a year! It’s sad how this company has let their products go to trash! Never ever again. Unfortunately we purchased mostly all Frigidaire products for our home so I can’t wait to see all the issues we’ll be having!

    We bought a new house which had this fridge installed. A little over 4 years later it began freezing groceries no matter what we set the temp at. Then the temp varied from 20 to 42 degrees, again no matter where wet the temp. So far we have wasted over $2200 dollars with control board, thermistor, evaporator, and condenser with no change in performance. We have not been able to use this unit for 7 months now. I have called and chatted with Frigidaire over 10 times and no help, I even sent a letter to corporate, no response. Calling frigidaire for help is a waste of time, difficult to actually talk to someone, and impossible to get any technical help. We will never again buy a frigidaire product and encourage anyone reading this also to not do so.

    DON'T BUY!! Bought in Aug 2023, it's been out over a month. The only service I've received is "I'm sorry for the inconvenience!" Asked about all spoiled food and of course not even a question! They don't care that you cannot go grocery shopping unless it's everyday or how expensive it is to eat out. They got their $ and don't care about customer.

    I can't believe this is an actual production appliance. Loose, wavy metal finish in front. The back looks like a thin piece of oversized scrap. Runs very loud. Doors can NOT be adjusted and do not close properly. I can't believe I gave up an old fridge that was infinitely better for this garbage. It is ugly and barely functional. A waste of money. The stove is not much better either.

    I will never ever buy a Frigidaire appliance again. This is the worst company I've ever had to deal with. I have been on the phone for hours with their moronic customer service team trying to get the correct size oven racks for my brand new, never used Frigidaire oven range because the ones that came with it were too big. They refuse to send them unless I pay $150 for each rack. That's half the cost of the oven itself for a part that they added incorrectly. This is the worst service I've ever experienced. I've spoken to four people two of which couldn't understand what an oven rack was. Don't waste your money with these people.

    BEWARE... DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCTS!!! If I could give them less than one star I surely would!!! We bought a brand new Frigidaire "Gallery" Refrigerator And since day one we bought it of November 2023 we have had water pouring out of the front of the refrigerator which will damage the stainless steel finish If you don't get it up immediately. Contrary to popular belief stainless steel is not stainless and water running down the front of your refrigerator will leave streaks in the finish of it! They have sent Service Techs out to our house six different which has caused us to lose wages 6 days to be here!

    They replaced multiple parts And when replacing the ice bucket the one they sent us was the wrong one in the Tech put it in anyway and left. So now we're still having water come out the front of the refrigerator and we have the wrong ice buckets so we haven't had any ice in months! We spent $2,800 on this model not to mention lost nearly 1,800 in wages to be home six times for them to come and do nothing to fix it. Customer service constantly gives the runaround. They initially said after three repairs and it wasn't fixed it will be deemed unrepairable. That was a bald-faced lie because they've been out here six times and they're still giving us the runaround! I advise anybody do not buy Frigidaire/Electrolux products because they do not stand behind their product and they give you the absolute runaround!!!

    I purchased my refrigerator in September 2022. It is now April 2024. Twice a technician has had to come out because the first time the compressor went out and this time the appliance mechanic said there is a Freon leak somewhere in my refrigerator and it cannot be repaired. It is no longer under warranty because I had a one-year warranty. He said it may last one week or two months but there was nothing he could do other than have me buy a new refrigerator/freezer. This is completely unacceptable. What kind of company makes a product that only lasts about a year and a half at a $1300 to $1400 cost. I am beyond livid. This appliance is garbage not to mention they charged me $108 to come out to service it to be told they can’t fix it. I was not refunded my money.

    As a senior citizen on disability, I cannot tell you how disappointed, frustrated and angry I am. I cannot afford a new unit so I guess I’ll have to just use a refrigerator and have no freezer. Nothing lasts anymore. Everything is made to go bad within a few years so you are forced to put out the money to buy a new one. Whatever it is, it could be a vacuum or toaster. My aunt had her vacuum for over 40 years with never one repair and it never lost suction. What happened to those days? As a woman on a fixed income, this has been devastating and I have emailed the CEO of the company. Let’s see if I get a response from Kevin **.

    We purchased the Frigidaire upright single-door fridge and freezer with the trim kit as a package in late 2019. The stainless-steel doors make the units look really nice and expensive, similar to Sub-zero or Thermador models but at 1/3 the price. Almost immediately, I noticed these units seem to be almost always on, meaning the units were cooling. I thought that was a normal thing for these units. The refrigerator gradually started getting worse. The evaporator thermostat failed on both units right after the warranty expired! I was able to replace both of those by myself. During Thanksgiving (2023) after returning from a week-long trip, all of the food in the refrigerator had frozen! We called the Frigidaire service center (really Electrolux since they're manufactured by them) to have a tech come troubleshoot.

    The tech determined that the evaporator, condenser and compressor all had to be replaced at the tune of nearly $1500! Since the unit was out of warranty, we had to pay that out of pocket. The tech "highly" recommended to buy extended warranty since "these units are cheap and constantly break!" We spend another $1000 for the extended warranty. Well, lo and behold, less than three months later, the fridge started doing the same thing. Electrolux tech came out and declared the unit "unfixable!" He said that Electrolux uses cheap aluminum and copper tubing in their refrigerators which deteriorate over time and start losing Freon. It's a known problem.

    Since we bought extended warranty, Electrolux agreed to buy-back the fridge. I explained to them that the units are a package with a single molding around both and since the new models no longer match, both aesthetically and in dimensions, we cannot just replace the fridge but have to also replace the freezer and the trim kit. Electrolux is refusing to replace both units and is only willing to replace the refrigerator. They have given us nothing but run around. Their call center reps are based in India, very difficult to understand and communicate with, and essentially are like robots repeating the same company customer care brochures they've been given, over and over!!!

    The new units are nearly $7K-$8K so, we're going to be on the hook for at least that, minus any refunds they may give us! I would love to go with another company but the cutout in the kitchen was built specifically to fit these units so we have very little choice unless we decide to redo our cabinets entirely! I strongly recommend NOT buying any Frigidaire or Electrolux products! Terrible products, even worse customer service!

    I purchased a Frigidaire Refrigerator and Freezer side by side at a cost of $2,823 each plus $544 in trim from Spencer's Appliance in Scottsdale, AZ in November 2022. Paid a Contractor $4,000 to refurbish the kitchen area for the "built in" look. Total Cost $10,190. We were out of town during installation and returned in January of 2023. The Refrigerator compressor went out in August 2023 and was replaced by Gold Wing Appliance in Mesa, AZ, the authorized repair company for Frigidaire. The compressor went out again in September 2023. Fast forward to March 2024 and the Fridge won't cool below 60 degrees. Gold Wing says they can't fix the leak because the Freon lines are not accessible.

    I call Frigidaire April 22, 2024 and advised that there are no exceptions to the 1 year warranty even if with compressor failures so they can't help me. I just now read most of the 1622 negative reviews on "Consumer Affairs" website. Based on my experience with Frigidaire and all the negative reviews, I would advise against purchasing a Frigidaire. I wonder how many class action lawsuits have been filed against Frigidaire?

    We purchased our refrigerator 7-30-22 and within 5-6 months noticed the inside led light would flicker and go off. Also noticed that the refrigerator itself stopped working, so I unplugged it and plugged it in and it was working. Still would notice led light flickering more while opening and closing the door so I replace the light and didn't make a difference. At the 1 yr mark, the fridge would sometimes stop working and I would unplug it and plug it in and it would work. At 1 yr 5 month mark the freezer and fridge was not working much at all so I call extended warranty and they replaced the panel assembly for light, door switch and temp control and small harness and when that didn't fix it they said the problem was a poor connection inside fridge and was not able to fix it. Come to find out this is a very common problem with this company. Waste of money for a fridge that was failing within a year.

    The Frigidaire Professional was made with a terrible flaw the company is well aware of apparently. A cavity in the back a void area where they are not properly insulated is causing full freeze ups in the back surrendering the fridge absolute trash. Unless you have an extensive warranty, throw it out. This company has put a blind eye to it and refuses to take any responsibility. Keep looking folks, I wouldn’t Recommend these fridges even if I was paid to.

    We purchased a new house and it came equipped with new Frigidaire appliances. There has been several issues with our side by side refrigerator. The inside of the door has rust on it. The doors were uneven and would not shut correctly. Keep in mind, this was a brand new fridge with a one year warranty. Within 6 months, the inside of the door has a lot of rust. I put in a claim to the company to be told that it wasn't covered since it was "cosmetic". There should NOT be rust within months of purchasing this. These products are pieces of junk.

    We closed on our a new construction home 12/21/21. It came with all new Frigidaire Gallery appliances including a 26.8 stainless steel French door refrigerator. I was excited to have all matching appliances for the first time. In 4/8/24 the freezer stopped working. To repair would have cost $1600. I am now having to buy a new refrigerator and will no longer have matching appliances. I wonder how long the other Frigidaire appliances will last?!? I will not buy that brand again.

    We bought a Frigidaire refrigerator in 2020. It worked fine for a couple of years until the top hinge pin holding the mullion (the divider between the doors) fell off. When this happened, the refrigerator door would sometimes not close correctly. The refrigerator was still under warranty with Assurant, but they denied the claim saying the problem didn't interfere with the operation of the refrigerator. But it did interfere with the operation of the refrigerator because if the door didn't close properly and no one noticed, the cold air would leak out and potentially allow our food to spoil. Several months later, the bottom hinge pin fell off. Assurant again denied the claim. The tabs holding the hinge pins on are broken and apparently you cannot buy replacements. The mullion is very unstable and wobbles when opening and closing the refrigerator door. It is only held on in the middle now. Although this refrigerator is still under warranty, we are going to have to buy a new refrigerator. What good is a warranty if the company won't honor it?

    I bought a refrigerator model number FFTR1835VW6. Thinking it was a good refrigerator, because my other Frigidaire was 25 years old and was still working when I had to get rid of it because of rust. It worked for 3 months and made some noise and quit working. So I call a scheduled appointment to have someone to come look at it. I had taken off work and they had to reschedule because of weather. So I made another appointment and someone was to come and look at it between 12 and 4 PM a week later. I work 1 hour away so that day I was going to work till 11:00 am and meet the technician to check my refrigerator. The repair company called me at 10:00 am told me they were on their way. I could not get there in time for him, so we had to reschedule again. So we rescheduled and again I had to take off work a half of day to meet someone here between 12 and 4. We have had no refrigerator since December.

    The repair company called me to let me know that the repair man could not make it because they were short handed. Now it is middle of January and had to reschedule again. Finally got someone here so he can check to see why it’s not working. He found that there was a black soot running up the back of the refrigerator like it caught on fire at one time, where the compressor is mounted. Luckily my wife unplugged it when it made noise he FaceTime the factory repair center and they told him what to order and repair, and to leave it unplugged. I was concerned because he said that he never seen anything like that. He ordered the parts and a week later they called and set up another appointment, I had to have a friend come over and meet them because I couldn’t take off work again.

    The repair technician put a new compressor and defrost timer and told us that if this didn’t fix it that would be able to get another refrigerator, it lasted 3 weeks. So I called again. They set up another appointment with another repair company to look at it. We unplugged the refrigerator because we worried about what the other technician said about the looking like it started to catch on fire. I took a half a day off again to meet him here, he was very nice and told me that we shouldn’t have unplugged it because he could not check it. I told him that we did not want to take a chance because the refrigerator is upstairs and we stay downstairs. That was on a Thursday afternoon he plugged it in said to call or text him to let him know if it was cooling, he thought it might have frozen up.

    It wasn’t cooling so I texted him to let him know the next morning. He did not call me back and I had to call them that Friday afternoon to find out what to do next. They set me another appointment for Monday afternoon at 4pm so I would only have to take off a hour early to get home. He looked at and said the new compressor was leaking refrigerant and he thought that the the defrost timer was kicking the compressor off to early so it wouldn’t cool. He was going to have to replace the compressor again and only his boss could do that type of repair and he need time to replace it. This was March 25 so I had to tell my work that I need to take another day to meet the repair company to get my compressor replace again. So I set up another appointment for April 5 because I had to let my employer know that I need to take off another day to get my refrigerator fixed.

    The repair company called me on Monday April 1 to let me know that they would be out to repair the refrigerator between 8 and 12 April 5. Two days went by and they call me again and told me that they couldn’t make it and to let me know that they could not get there until between 12 and 4 I told them that was ok because I had taken the whole day off.

    They called me at 3 pm April 5 after waiting for someone to show up, and they said they got hung up on a job and couldn’t make it today and wanted to reschedule for Tuesday April 9, I told her I can’t take off work. So I called Frigidaire and told them that I wanted a new refrigerator, because I can’t afford to take off work to meet someone here to repair it. They told me that they had to have the repair company to recommend to replacement and they would have to reschedule a repair man to come look at. I told him that they knew what they had to replace to repair it and they couldn’t replace it because it could be repaired.

    My refrigerator has worked of 3 weeks out of 4 months. THEY DID NOT CARE ABOUT ME DOING WITHOUT A REFRIGERATOR. I asked for a replacement and they said they have to replace the compressor again and that I could not get a new replacement. DON'T BUY A FRIGIDAIRE. THEY DON'T STAND BY THEIR APPLIANCES.

    We got a brand new Frigidaire refrigerator almost a year ago. It has not worked at all for any extended period of time. We have had at least 4 factory authorized service calls including a circuit board replacement, a new compressor, and some ice maker kit. After this last visit, the repairman asked for a replacement which Frigidaire rejected and said they want a different technician now. We’ve resorted to using an old mini fridge in the middle of the kitchen just to keep our food from going bad. Stay far away from this brand as it is junk and Frigidaire will do absolutely nothing to support their product. As of now, no response from them. This is unacceptable.

    These are absolutely terrible products!! Buy at your own risk! A refrigerator should last longer than a year before breaking. Currently four years and it’s already broken down twice. Had to throw everything out both times, do not buy a Frigidaire whatever you do! I wish it would let me leave zero stars!

    Bought my Frigidaire about 4 years ago. Now I'm having cooling issues with the bottom main part of fridge. Cleaned the coils and no change. Really liked the look of this model Frigidaire and it went great with the rest of the kitchen. Now to have it looked at and repaired will probably cost as much as we paid for the fridge. Very disappointed after only 4 years this shouldn't be happening. If it was 10 years I couldn't complain. Going to have to look at other manufacturers products and see about another brand.

    Purchased a new Frigidaire with ice and water in door and the drawer between the freezer and refrigerator less than 3 years ago but more than the warranty period. Had all sorts of high temperature warnings over the last few months. Call the repair guy, then another repair guy than four other repair guys and no one will work with frigidaires. The customer service is completely useless. Now. The refrigerator isn't working at all. I believe the compressor is blown so after spending a few thousand dollars and 3 years I've got essentially a big lump of plastic and aluminum sitting in my kitchen. The company absolutely refuses to stand by its product at all. I would never buy another Frigidaire product.

    My ordeal began back in October of 2023 when we purchased brand new. Water was dripping from the dispenser 24x7. I lost count on how many service calls we had, but believe it was around 10. Countless conversations with customer service which is off-shore by the way. NOBODY to speak with in America which is frustrating. Service techs replaced all the parts affecting the dispenser which didn't solve the issue. The doors are out of alignment and no matter what adjustments the tech made, he could not get them to align. He stated the entire chassis was out of alignment. According to Frigidaire, this is cosmetic and will not replace. Disappointing for a $2k appliance. I recommend not buying, but even worse is lack of customer service.

    I purchased a 20 cu. ft. top freezer Frigidaire refrigerator 9 months ago, and have had food continue to freeze in the fridge, no matter what I do. The model # is LFTR2045VF. The only places that don't freeze are the crisper drawers and the center deli drawer. I have turned the temperature to warmer by almost 50%; have bought thermometers to try and monitor the worst areas; I have covered food items with towels. It's a new refrigerator and I shouldn't have to do that to protect my food from freezing.

    The worst area is the top shelf. Almost anything except meat, bread or spices freezes if it is put on that shelf. But it's not ONLY the top shelf. Random other places will freeze, even when it says the temperature is ideal (35-38). I've had apples, lemons, greens, sauerkraut, boiled eggs, avocadoes and dried dates (!) freeze on the lower shelves. The cold air vent is in the middle of the fridge in the back of the top shelf, and it blows straight out (rather than to the side).

    I purchased this top freezer Frigidaire model FFHT1814WW refrigerator Oct. 23, 2023. After five months, the freezer malfunctioned because of a leak. It will take 10 days to get parts. Now I'm wondering how long this refrigerator will last. I am disappointed in the quality control. Update 3/17/24: Refrigerator is failing slowly. Just spent $17 for ice to help save my food.     Went to Lowe's with my son and his family for a new refrigerator. Didn't have it but 7 weeks and came home it was warm and his food was spoiled. Lowes would do nothing. It was the reason they got a new refrigerator because the old 1 wasn't keeping food cold. Had to call for repair on a new unit. It took 2 weeks for repairs and no fridge in the interim. Now here we are 5 months later and the compressor goes on it. Another 2 weeks with no refrigerator. They have children. Who can afford to keep eating out. They don't care.

    You must have a repairman there 4 times yes 4 times before they will replace your new refrigerator. You already lost how much money in groceries spent how much in take out or eating out. The inconvenience of it all. And Lowe's just blows you off. They made the sale and doesn't care 1 bit. And Frigidaire got paid too and the consumer is screwed again. This is totally unacceptable!! Tell everyone you know. Don't buy from Lowes and and don't buy Frigidaire!!!

    We purchased a Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator, just about a year ago. We experienced problems from the beginning but, the store we bought it from gave us an extended warranty. We were told that the drawer which broke is (2 months out of the warranty) not covered. I contacted Frigidaire. They told me, they could sell me a new drawer. They refused to replace it because it was outside the warranty. The drawer is a poor design. We will never purchase another product by Frigidaire.

    WARNING!! Everyone that has the large Frigidaire Professional Series, get a warranty ASAP!! We have been without a Fridge for 3 months and after they came out 8 times in the last year, they deemed it “unrepairable”. Our freezer went out last summer and we have spent over $1K in repairs. They are highly unprofessional and we have been fighting with them so long. Today, we got a 20% rebate on a new unit which is around $3K. Yippee.

    I call Frigidaire replacement parts department for a freezer door shelf replacement. Their cost $82.52. One of the three bottom bin shelves. Similar shelves on Amazon ranged from $10.00 to $16.00. Amazon information and photos leave some uncertainty. But, it looks like it will work. I can return the shelf if it doesn't fit. Caveat Emptor.

    I bought the Frigidaire pro series side by side fridge/freezer in December of 2023. The ice maker hasn’t worked since I’ve had it. 2 technicians came out and told me the freezer was bad. It has ruined my floors from leaking water. 3 months and I still haven’t got a replacement. I was told that I had to pay for it to be installed if it ever arrives?? I’ve already had to pay for it to be installed once. I do not recommend frigidaire.

    Aug. of 2023 purchased a Frigidaire Gallery, and it has been freezing our refrigerator food, in the drawers and on the shelves ever since it was about 2 months old. We have had 4 service calls, they have replaced the same panel every time, and it works for about 2 weeks and starts all over again. We have frost build up in rear of fridge, along with ice cycles in back of freezer. Water leaking from water dispenser, lines and valve were also replaced, still leaking. Frigidaire does not stand behind their products, they just keep throwing parts at it. It cools my entire kitchen like an air conditioner.

    Living without a dependable fridge is like impossible! We have already lived through the LG fridge nightmares, and bought a Frigidaire for the dependability, boy did we make a mistake! The new government guidelines for "Energy Efficient" appliances seems to be the major issue. I do feel for the appliance companies, but us consumers are suffering greatly! Enough is enough, just make a dependable, trustworthy product for consumers!

    From day one (2022) refrigerator freezes food. Freezes food everywhere. The fresh produce drawer up on the top shelf. On the bottom shelf. Everywhere!! Tried the different settings and procedures recommended by the appliance store. Nothing works. Fresh food drawers broke within the first year. Complete garbage. Would not recommend Frigidaire to anyone.

    Found these indentions when we moved the fridge and a window beams down on it. Called and was told it was an installation problem. I told them it could not be because they were in a perfect line and height across the bottom of panel. They said they couldn't do anything about it even though it was under warranty.     I bought my refrigerator 3 years ago and spent close to $2,000 on it. The ice maker stopped making ice and I had a repair person replace the unit of course at our expense. Within a weeks time from the ice maker breaking down the compressor went. We had leaking water through the floor and into our basement. The repair man said the cost of repair would be almost as much as buying a new refrigerator. I called customer service because the product was only 3 years old and spoke to a manager. They said they would not help us at all with anything as long as the product was no longer under warranty. They reiterated time and time again that they didn’t have to help us in any way.

    I thought that this experience was something I needed make others aware of. I did tell Frigidaire that we spent over $10,000 supplying our kitchen with all of their products and to do nothing to help us does not promote good customer relations. They just kept telling me legally they didn't have to help us in any way so they weren’t going to. My repair man said he mostly works on Frigidaire brand and suggested I never buy another one because he said they always have issues No worries... I will NEVER buy another one of their products!!

    On June 9, 2023 we purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowe's. After 5 service calls it was deemed unrepairable and was returned. Lowe's changed their policies and would not do an even exchange so we had to purchase another refrigerator and wait for our refund. Within 2 days of purchasing the replacement the new refrigerator had thick ice on the back and water again on the freezer door. We purchased this refrigerator on January 11, 2024. The tech came out last week and said he would check and see what he might be able to do with it. Today he called to cancel the service call we had scheduled and said that it was an issue with the insulation and there was no fix for it. I told him I wanted it deemed unrepairable so I could get my money back and he said no. He also lied on the notes that he turned in saying there was nothing wrong with the refrigerator. As you can see in the pictures provided, that is another lie.

    I want my money back and I want to be able to go get a decent refrigerator. Working with Frigidaire is like beating your head against the wall and you cannot get above the call center. Now another company is coming out Monday for a second opinion. If I need to get a lawyer that's my next step, as well as contacting the media. Lowe's, since they do not stand behind what they sell, and Frigidaire who evidently have appliance issues, have both lost my business.

    I purchased my side by side refrigerator and took delivery on 12/7/23. By 1/27/24 the freezer stopped working completely. Since it was a wknd I had to wait until Monday to give any service.     This is my second Frigidaire refrigerator. First lasted over 17 years. Bought a replacement June 2023. Early January 2024 Fridge began making loud noises from a fan. As it was a Saturday had to wait till Monday to call customer service. Called but had a 25 minute wait for tech. He had me unplug the fridge and then plug it back in. The noise stopped. Thought all was good. He gave me a ref # in case it reoccurred. Within 3 minutes it began again. Called back and waited over 20 minutes for a tech. Got the tech. They said they would call the local shop that handles warranty work and the shop would call me back with an appointment.

    About an hour or two later the shop called and said they could not be out until the 15th exactly one week away. So I said ok. Later that day the Fridge QUIT working and the high temp light was on. Frozen food moved to a large freezer. What would fit from the fridge side was moved to a cooler with ice and kept on the deck as it was below 10 degrees outside. Then after about 12 hours the fridge came back on. Reloaded it. Lasted for a few days then stopped again for about 18 hours. When the tech showed up he said the main board was the problem and he would order a new one. This is now the 15th of Jan. Fridge behaved up until sun. Then 28th went out again with high temp light on.

    Called the shop on Monday. Gal said she called me several days ago but I didn't have voice mail set up I do but she never tried back said the part was on back order. I asked what do I do. She said If I call Frigidaire they will respond better than her calling, I called immediately and after the customary 20-30 minute wait I got a customer service rep. She said she could order the board and it would be sent to me - When I received it I was to call them and then They would call the Shop to have someone install it. I have several other calls I haven't even mentioned. My shortest wait time was 18 minutes when I complained about the long wait time and they should do something about the rep argued with me and said they get a lot of calls he missed my point and as I tried to explain the company needs to fix the wait time he hung up on me.

    We purchased our new refrigerator in April of 2023. We had a big Kenmore that had no issues but was looking to go energy efficient. BIG MISTAKE! The night of Thanksgiving it woke me up beeping. The temp was high "HI". I tried all the trouble shooting steps found online but nothing helped. I packed my fridge with ice packs to help get it back down. I called Frigidaire. They said the service provider would be out Dec 7th. No. The service provider called me on the 7th to schedule for a week later. They came the 14th. Could not really find the issue, gave us some tips.

    A week later it happens again! I called. They tried to send the service provider back out but they said we needed a second option. Called and had service locator case after case put in because they kept sending it to the same company that kept refusing the work order. Then the fourth case they find someone else but they don't have someone in my area with the certification needed to fix my fridge issues. Again called. What do you know. Any other service locator case and again they sent it to one of the previous companies that have refused to come work on it.

    Now there is another case put in. Supposedly if they can't find someone different then they are request an approve for replacement. Please pray they finally get this fixed or replaced. I can't put anything in the fridge to cool or anything in there that is not like room temperature. I have had to throw a lot of food away. Between the two major times it has messed up and taken more than a day for the temp to come down. It's crap and reading some of these other reviews they should be ashamed. They use to be a top name brand application, what happened?

    Buyers beware! Frigidaire manufactures some beautiful refrigerators with nice features at a decent price. Unfortunately ours only lasted 2 years before an electronic panel went out that controls the evaporator fan and compressor. The repair would cost well over $1k for what I consider a still pretty new appliance. Repair person who works on several brands explains that unfortunately this is common on many of Frigidaire's products where the electronic boards go out making the appliance useless. The repair of this nearly nearly new appliance was not worth it for our family, so we decided to buy a new refrigerator from a different brand hoping for more dependability.

    Updated on 04/16/2024: After months of calls and online chats with Frigidaire telling us the same thing over and over again. We finally found someone on our own to come fix it. The repairman found even more missing valves in the back that weren't even installed. Thankfully he fixed the fridge or at least we hope. The problem now is the fridge is fixed and now our water line is messed up. (That is not Frigidaire.) We bought this brand new fridge about 10 months ago now, and have yet to use it in its full capacity. Now waiting on a plumber to come fix the water line. I just wanted to express my full frustration. I know it's a small thing compared to all the world's problems, I understand that. The back panel of a BRAND new fridge was leaking and missing components. Again I repeat. Do not buy a Frigidaire refrigerator and if you do I hope you don't have these problems.

    Original Review: We bought our brand new fridge when we moved into our new house. We got it delivered and hooked up. We always put a water alarm back behind the fridge for this reason. It went off and noticed the leak coming from behind the fridge. We had a plumber come look, we thought it was our water lines leaking and after some trouble shooting he discovered it was coming from the fridge. He took the back panel off the fridge and saw the valves were leaking from the fridge. So we turned off the water and got ahold of Frigidaire, they set us up with a local appliance company to come fix the fridge.

    This local place never showed up. So its been a back and forth with Frigidaire. Every time we talk to them, they give us the same scripted response back "we are sorry this is not the experience we want for you" Then tell us to give them 3 to 5 days to find someone else to come. The town we live in has several appliance repair companies. Its been weeks at this point and still nothing. Its extremely frustrating to buy something that is BRAND new, to spend so much money on a product and it not work, for it to damage our floors, but also for the company to not make good on their product that we spent money on. Its not like you can just take the fridge back and exchange which is what we want to do. This is the first Frigidaire product I have bought and this will be the last.

    Frig delivered in May 2023. Worked great for 6 months. Came home one night and no power. Checked outlet/breaker, all fine. Won't power on. Called Frigidaire for service. Sent me to local repair house who said they were booked and could not get to me - had to go back through phone circus for another dispatch. After a week, they tell me no service providers in my area - they have elevated my issue and I have to wait 3 more days for them to get back to me. No frig/freezer/ice/water in the house for 2 weeks now. Will be Christmas without a frig. Supervisor can't pass me up to someone who can help me - no one else to call.

    We purchased our refrigerator April 16, 2023 and November 19, 2023 our freezer stopped working. On November 20, 2023 we called Lowe's and was told we would have to contact customer service with Frigidaire. We called them and they told us to unplugged the refrigerator and wait about 10-15 minutes and it should reset itself and start working. In fact this did not work, it caused the refrigerator part to stop working as well.

    We called them back and finally a repair man called on November 29 and came out to repair it. We were told by him that it is the compressor and it's one he can't work on and someone should call us in a couple of days. We never heard from anyone. I had to call Frigidaire back on December 4, 2023 and was told that someone should reach out to us within 24 hrs to repair it or that would replace it. I called at 1:00 pm CST and was on the phone for an hour and a half. It is now 9:35 and still no word from them.

    We have already had Thanksgiving ruined due to losing all of our food which was approximately $400. Since the fridge went out it's been take out every night. I'm ready to have food back in my fridge so I can cook a home cooked meal. It's ridiculous how much trouble we have had with this company. I honestly think they should refund our money due to it being such a hassle but I know that won't happen. We are now 17 days without a fridge. Hopefully something will get done soon.

    I have been reading reviews on the Frigidaire refrigerators and my complaint is almost identical to the others. The refrigerator went out after only a few months and we had to throw food away. A service tech came out and "fixed" it. The next problem was the fan making a huge noise, that took twice to fix. It turns out the ice maker water will leak and freeze over the fan causing the noise. Two fans later, that is resolved, but now the ice maker is not working and it has had three new ones! So far the company has spent so much in repairs on it they may as well have replaced the old one. Please read all the reviews. The complaints are almost identical to mine. Frigidaire is NOT a good product and the customer service is horrible. Don't do it!

    I had a spill on the long glass shelf in the fridge. It seep into the seams between plastic and glass. There is no way to get at the spill because there is no room to get into the crevices. After a while, the spill caused an odour which has been difficult to remove. A major design flaw. I’m sorry I bought this fridge.

    We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator a month ago. It did not work correctly on day one. It freezes everything in the refrigerator. Even with the setting for the refrigerator set at 42 degrees, the temperature inside is 22 degrees. We called Frigidaire and they said they will send the information to the Escalation Team and they will contact us within 3 business days. They did not call. We called them back and they said that they will send the information to the Priority Team and they will call us back within 2 business days. They did not call.

    We keep calling them and they keep bouncing it back and forth with the Escalation Team and the Priority Team. No one from Frigidaire has called us at all during this time. Frigidaire has done nothing to resolve this problem and we keep calling them. My advice to anyone needing to purchase any appliance is, DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM FRIGIDAIRE OR THEIR PARENT COMPANY ELECTROLUX. They do not care about the consumer, all they care about is selling their junk.

    I Purchased on July 10, 2023. Broke October on October 29, 2023. I suspected a malfunction in the freezer, as I noticed an unusual smell emanating from my food. However, this solution comes with a waiting period of 3-10 business days. This predicament poses a significant challenge, considering my financial constraints and the impending spoilage of my perishable items. Unfortunately, both Frigidaire and Home Depot have been unresponsive, asserting that the issue is beyond their responsibility after the initial 48-hour timeframe.

    In my perspective, it appears that I may have been sold a refurbished, defective refrigerator under the guise of a new purchase. Consequently, I find myself in a frustrating situation, with substantial financial losses in ruined groceries. This experience serves as a cautionary tale, urging potential buyers to exercise vigilance when considering Frigidaire products and to approach purchases from Home Depot with careful consideration. Both of them don't seem to care about their customers.

    Now, I'm out thousands in groceries, and considering how expensive groceries are, I am legitimately getting screwed, so I reached out to Frigidaire today and demanded they send me a new fridge they are telling me they need to follow policy, policy doesn’t return my food to me, policy doesn’t unspoiled my food, policy only helps them. Their policy stated the tech needs to determine it's unrepairable, that’s after I wait 10 days, this IS NOT A WASHING MACHINE, this is MY FRIDGE!!!! I am losing groceries by the min. Everything is expensive and Frigidaire made it clear they will NOT REPLACE MY FOOD!

    My wife and I purchased a Frigidaire side-by-side fridge model # FRSS2623AS through Home Depot. We recently received the fridge and waited 48 hours for the fridge to cool but it never happened. We reached out to Home Depot’s customer service which redirected us to the manufacturer. They mentioned everything would have to go through them so we called and were told they could send someone to pick up Friday or they could deliver another which wouldn’t be here until November 16th…. We chose to have someone pick the fridge up but the experience of not having a fridge because of the company sending a brand new fridge was beyond me!!

    We have to buy bags of ice and had to stuff our food into a cooler because the fridge is just sitting at our house until they pick it up! I called Home Depot to see if something could be done and they offered a small fridge that I would have to pick up on my own.. side note: I do not own a truck nor would a small fridge suffice for my food. This has been the worst experience EVER! We are currently waiting on the fridge to be picked up to process a refund where then we will have to purchase another fridge which will probably not deliver until next week!

    DON'T BUY FRIGIDAIRE!!!! POOR QUALITY APPLIANCES AND THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! A simple thing like the light in the Freezer section of the Refrigerator blew out after only a little over a year of use and you can not simply screw in a new light bulb. You have to take the whole back off the freezer section to change a simple bulb! It is a very time intensive job to do. Tried to call FRIGIDAIRE customer service and after about 25 minutes the person who answered the phone gave me the silent treatment and would not respond! Then called back again and this time got a voice message they were too busy to talk to a customer and call back again! This is an expensive refrigerator and this is proof they know their appliances are of poor quality! Never buy a Frigidaire appliance.     I bought this Frigidaire fridge in 2019...11 months later the heat exchanger and Evaporator went on the fridge. Luckily, this was covered by warranty (they did not make it easy to get paid for it). Fast forward to today, the same issue has come up with the replacement parts. These parts were ordered and installed by a licensed Frigidaire technician. 3 years later the same parts fail?? Causing 1/3 of our food to be spoiled. I expected better from Frigidaire and Electrolux.

    It's a beautiful looking fridge and I get a lot of compliments about it but reliability is absolutely terrible. I can't even figure out how companies like this only offer 1 year warranty on their appliances. That just goes to show they expect them to not last and they are not behind their product. I also wrote this review on Frigidaire's "write a review" section of their website, unfortunately the review was not positive enough to make the cut on the website as they only want 5 star reviews apparently. Way to be transparent.

    This refrigerator was purchased a few months ago, it's been nothing but problems. I'm going on my fourth service call and they continue to do NOTHING! I have lost so much food, due to freezing and burning salads, yogurt, cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, fruit, etc... I am so disappointed that Frigidaire has not taken responsibility and has done nothing to replace this worthless refrigerator. All the food that I've lost has not been compensated, they just continue to tell me, that if the problem persists they will come back. I've taken time during work hours without pay to accommodate the service techs, it has honestly been a nightmare. Save your money, stress, food and purchase a different brand!!!     Purchased refrigerator 02/23 from Home Depot. Within 6 months it started freezing everything including everything in fridge. Service tech came out, said I had both dials set wrong. He set them where they should be and said I should have no more problems - Wrong. Two days later everything was freezing again. I shut fridge off for 8 hours, turned dials back to least cold and it works better but some stuff still freezes. Tech was here for less than 10 minutes. Tried to get another repair appointment but they scheduled me 2 weeks out. Unfortunately because of issues I will never recommend or purchase any Frigidaire products ever again. Their products suck and their service is even worse and you'll be on hold for almost an hour to try and make appointment. Stay away from anything with Frigidaire name on it - warranty is worthless like their products.

    We acquired this refrigerator model in June 2022. Shortly after receiving it, we encountered an issue with the water dispenser continuously leaking water, causing a mess on my kitchen floor. Upon investigating, I removed the top hinge cap and identified a design flaw. The plastic water hose made a sharp 90-degree turn at the top without any elbow, spring, or support, leading to bending and pinching of the line, eventually resulting in cracks. They replaced this hose three times, and it was only on the third replacement that the technician incorporated a bend or elbow to prevent further pinching.

    But there's more to the story. The second major problem was that the refrigerator section consistently froze the food and formed ice along the back, even when set at 40 degrees. Technicians were dispatched to our home 13 times, repeatedly replacing various components, including the thermostat twice and the main back panel three times. It's puzzling why they kept sending technicians to replace the same parts repeatedly.

    Frigidaire ultimately concluded that the fridge was beyond repair, and we were eligible for a replacement. However, when we initially bought the fridge at a reduced price during a sale at Lowes, the market prices had since risen. They now insist that I get a refund for the original purchase price but expect me to pay the price difference at today's full list price for a new one to replace the same model fridge that was under warranty. This appears illogical.

    As consumers, we purchase appliances with the expectation that they come with a manufacturer's warranty to address any defects or failures. In this case, the fridge was deemed irreparable under warranty, and I was entitled to a replacement. However, Frigidaire insists that I pay out of pocket, roughly $1000, to secure the replacement, even though it's under warranty. This situation raises questions about the purpose of a warranty and feels like a case of deception, selling products without standing by their quality.

    At this point, it's not solely about the money; it's about the principle. I have decided to replace all Frigidaire appliances in my home and switch to a different brand altogether.     I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowe's in 2019 with a 5 year extended protection plan. The fan in the ice maker continually builds up condensation behind it which causes it to sound like a propeller, and one (only one) of the crisper drawers gets water in it whenever we put our veggies in it. We've had a technician out twice to repair the unit. Each time the fan was cleared of ice and we were assured it wouldn't happen again. For the drawer the technicians admitted they had no clue what was causing it. They recommended we keep the veg in plastic bags. Really? I've owned several refrigerators and never had water in the drawers with unbagged veggies. My wife has a Samsung in her business that she keeps unbagged veggies in and never has water in the bin. And, the other bin in our frigidaire doesn't have water either with unbagged veggies.

    This is easily one of the worse companies I have dealt with. My fridge went out 7-31, it was bought in Feb of 2023. A repair company has been out 4 times and unable to fix. Warranty states they need a second opinion but the 2nd company will not come out due to not wanting to get in the middle of the other companies work (which I understand) Frigidaire warranty continues to send my work order to the same 2 companies that have declined to come out. Every time I call I have to explain the situation. And I get the same outcome with the same script from each person. It is now Oct 18th and I still do not have a replacement and it doesn’t look like I will be getting one through warranty. Do not recommend simply because if your appliance goes out you could be out of luck due to warranty’s incompetency.

    Fridge totally broke down after 15 months. They came and I had to pay $150 and they said everything needed to be replaced. They would order the parts. This is month 3 and 5 times they said the parts would come in a couple more weeks. It goes on and on and on. Never having any intentions of replacing anything. They deserve 0 stars. Stay away from their products.

    I purchased a Frigidaire 18.3 cubit food refrigerator in May 2022. It fit nicely into the space in my kitchen and was nice looking and initially, I was very pleased. It had a one-year warranty. However in September of 2023, it started to either freeze or not cool properly. I was wondering what to do when, in October 2023, I was offered an extended warranty for a year by Frigidaire. I was concerned I would have a delay time for the warranty to kick in but nowhere in the fine print could I find that they did that. Until, of course, I called in for repairs with my extended warranty, when I requested service and then was told it would be 60 days before the extended warranty would kick in.

    So I invited a repairman to come and take a look and he said it is the compressor and it needs to be replaced. So now I am out both the money for this refrigerator AND the extended warranty I paid on it. And the refrigerator is only 1 year and 5 months old. I remember and long for the days when refrigerators lasted decades. I strongly encourage you to NOT purchase a Frigidaire product. I cannot believe the poor service I received and the abysmally poor product this refrigerator is.

    In July we purchased a 27.8 cu ft French Door fridge. Instead of the 2.7 to 3 pounds of ice that the brochure claimed that we'd get in a 24 hour period, we continue to get ten to 12 cubes. After having six techs come repair it with differing opinions. None got any positive results. One checked the water flow, another turned down the temp in the icemaker, two ordered new ice makers while another ordered a new compressor. The repair department at Frigidaire has twice told me that I would get the unit replaced. This is not true. Home Depot said that they would remove and give me a refund. What am I to do with all that food while I wait for my new refrigerator to be delivered. Obviously, I am disgusted by the manufacturer and their repair component.

    Model FPRU19F8WF; broke down within 10 months. Warranty service is call center in India that refuses to use real names, will not give last names, and will not share employee ID numbers. Takes 30-60 minutes to get through, then they promise to have someone call in 3 business days--the call never comes, call back in, and they make the same promise again. I have been waiting 2 weeks and still don't have anything on the calendar. They offer no path to escalate and they have literally lied several times. I have discovered that half the time the operators never even bothered entering notes from our call in the system, nor did they bother scheduling service. This overseas call center is either unsupervised or incompetently supervised and they have no accountability and they know it.

    I finally had to buy a new refrigerator to use as a backup. Frigidaire has offshored their warranty service without the slightest attention to the effect on their customers, and my unit is simply unfixable through Frigidaire. It is a giant block of useless scrap for which I paid a small fortune only 10 months ago. Frigidaire needs a class action suit to wake them up. I now see all the horrible reviews online; I wish I had paid attention before buying this garbage. I will never, ever, ever EVER buy this brand again.

    Model #FFRT2045VD 19.6 cu ft dark steel colour fridge. My 18 month old fridge defrost timer broke and motor was over working. No we did not buy the extended warranty that would NOT have covered this anyway BUT a consumer should not assume that a brand new fridge is going to break down after 18 months. We lost over $400 in food and repair cost $768 and the tech said he repairs this part many many times. This is a far below substandard product.     Purchased a refrigerator from Frigidaire in late 2020 and paid over $3K and the product is a lemon. Constantly getting high temperature alerts, ice maker freezing up and not working properly and food in freezer not staying cold. Frigidaire sent out technician 10+ times and they never could fix. They finally replaced the compressor. Still did not resolve issue. They refused to replace the unit and to this day have high temperature alerts and non functioning ice makers on top and bottom. Save your money and do not purchase from this company. They are the worst! Customer service is a joke. If you call them prepare yourself to waste an hour on the phone each time you call.

    2 months after I bought my fridge my nightmare started. First the control panel just fell off the side door. A month after, The fridge started freezing my vegetables compartments. Ever since then I had 5 attempts to fix my problem and the technicians can’t fix it. Now is been exactly a year and Electrolux the company that sends the techs to inspect and try to fix my fridge, keeps on making appointments for another tech to come and “review” my item. And they keep leaving me hanging. Now they don’t show up to check or even attempt to fix my faulty unit. Now I'm stuck with a fridge that keep messing up my foods inside the fridge and Frigidaire just won't answer me anymore.

    Of course I paid the refrigerator in full already so they care less about what I do with it now. This company does not deserve to even be in business doing all this unprofessional behavior. Now I'm about to follow up with a small claims court to see if I can have my money back because I would never get another frigidaire product in my life. $2400 in the trash can. Plus all the food it already spoiled in the past 6-7 months.

    Purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowe’s on May 1. We quickly realized the freezer section was not adequately cooling as it started to beep and flash “HI”, indicating the temp was too high. Long story short - over the course of three months we had techs come to the house four times. The evaporator and compressor were replaced and the HI warning continued. (All this time my frozen goods were in my neighbor’s freezer as they were gone for the summer - not ideal!)

    The mgmt team at Lowe’s was fantastic and did everything in their power to help rid us of this Lemon in our kitchen. The problem was the customer service dept for Frigidaire. Having no success with the agents I spoke to on more than one occasion, I requested a supervisor. As they’re still working from home it took an hour on hold to get one tracked down. Just as the original agents that I had spoken with had done, the supervisor merely read the same script over and over. She said their policy states that a refund or replacement cannot be made until a “master technician” verifies that the appliance is unfixable.

    The techs had already told us that after four visits we should be eligible for a replacement and that if what they had replaced made no difference there was little more to be done. Nothing worse than a customer service rep or supervisor who is unwilling to wander off their script to appear to be understanding of the consumer’s situation. Got a KitchenAid in its place and couldn’t be happier.

    Purchased Frigidaire refrigerator from Home Depot delivered on August 9, 2023. After 24 hours almost all items in the fridge froze. I threw out all vegetables and everything that I could not use. I called Frigidaire. Waited 30 frustrated minutes for response. (Call center is the Philippines.) Eventually the person who answered spoke poor English. I had to keep repeating myself. A repair representative came to my home on August 16, 2023. The defective part was ordered delivered and replaced on August 21. The inconvenience was soo frustrating. Frigidaire told me they are not responsible for the frozen items I lost. I should contact Home Depot. Home Depot states it’s not their responsibility. What!!!

    We bought a Frigidaire Galleria Refrigerator in November of 2022. It had a defect on the side that we reported and couldn't get help repairing. The plastic inside the door/on top of the drawer has since cracked. We tried to get it repaired numerous times by contacting Frigidaire and Lowe's (we purchased it at Lowe's). Two service calls set-up by Frigidaire and each time their vendor was a no show then tried to blame us. If they had showed up, we would have seen them on our Ring camera. We hate this refrigerator and are looking at replacing it. I will not buy another Frigidaire appliance. I also want to say when it was delivered, the delivery guys dropped the door on our old refrigerator and gouged our hardwood floor and when they pushed the fridge back into the space, they scratched the hardwood floor.

    Refrigerator delivered 7/12, after waiting 24 hrs (as recommended) icemaker as recommended never worked to capacity. Two weeks later the leak started with the indoor water dispenser. Called for service and was informed the icemaker needed to be replaced and the leak is from a hole in the water line. I called Lowe’s and informed I would have to purchase new refrigerator.     At Home Depot I bought a 25 cubic foot side by side Frigidaire. Excited to have this new fridge with ice maker and water in door. It does keep food cold. It look great. Bad news is Doors were 1/2" uneven and delivery guys left in a hurry before I could figure out why "doors looked funny". I paid $1200+ plus 3 year extended warranty. Warranty man came out and made the door look level but now each time the door makes loud clicking noise. Very annoying. Also didn't expect the refrigerator to do a loud buzzing for 2 minutes every 3 hours because ice maker is not hooked up under sink yet. I wanted to make sure refrigerator was all good before I hire a plumber to do this. I just wish the right front door worked without loud clicking noise. Is this a defect? I am disappointed. So far Home Depot is refusing to be of help.

    I am a retiree that lives on Social Security and it was a stretch for me to spend $2100.00 for this unit 2 years ago and it quit freezing. The tech said it would be $1,000 plus to repair so he called Frigidaire for us and they told him it only had a 1-year warranty - he was as shocked as I was - I called Nebraska Furniture where I purchased and talked to a gentleman named Nick and they were not helpful at all.     I bought both the freezer and refrigerator professional. Now built in. 6 months in freezer goes. 11 months in refrigerator stops cooling. Still under warranty, technician comes. "Parts need to be ordered but backlogged 4 weeks." How do you survive without a refrigerator. Parts arrive at 4 weeks, damaged. Now they tell me they will replace my refrigerator. Someone will call me in 48 hours. No call. No surprise. I call corporate office CEO and Regional Manager, no reply from anyone. I have had all I am going to take. If I get a new refrigerator, I must have the warranty. Now to keep both crappy appliances it will cost me $299/year/each piece to have any sense of confidence in these units. AVOID. AVOID.     I purchased a Frigidaire Professional French Door model FBPG2278UF4 in 2020 for approximately $2,500. On July 17, 2023 the unit completely stopped working. I contacted Frigidaire customer service which was of no help. Other than to say my refrigerator was out of warranty and basically good riddance. It took exactly one week to get a repair tech out to diagnose the problem (July 24, 2023). In between I had to buy a mini fridge and freezer to keep basic food items on hand. Cost $550.

    The tech said the cooling fan had completely fallen off and the result was overheating of the compressor, which needs to be replaced at $1,068. I also paid $151 for today's service call and it will take until the end of the week to get the compressor replaced. I again called Frigidaire customer service to complain of the manufacturing defect (How does a fan just fall off? The tech said it was probably not properly attached during the manufacturing process.) This did not result in any remedy and again was told it was out of warranty, so nothing can be done. (I never bought an extended warranty, but I now see why they like to sell them to consumers.)

    The end result is I will be paying almost $2,000 for repairs and buying a refrigerator and freezer so my family can have safe and healthy food items. The customer service representative I spoke to today was not helpful. She would not even give her name when I said I going to file a formal complaint with Frigidaire customer service and the Better Business Bureau. I doubt anything will result in my pursuit of being financially reimbursed for an issue that should have never happened if the refrigerator had been properly inspected before leaving the factory, but complain I shall beginning with this review.

    I was elated to buy this refrigerator. It is a very sleek and nice looking unit. I am highly disappointed with Frigidaire/Electrolux quality control and terrible customer service. Wish me luck and I would reconsider buying another brand after this experience. Oh, I forgot to say I cannot locate my model on the Frigidaire website because it has been discontinued. Ridiculous!

    We purchased our Frigidaire refrigerator (made by Electrolux) less than a year ago and all seemed good. Our only complaint was that items at the back of the fridge would freeze. Easy fix, we rearranged some items, and all was good. On about month seven the ice cube dispenser button stopped working but the crushed ice button still worked so I called customer service to get some help. They sent out a repairman who took a :30 look and ordered a part. 4 weeks later the part shows up at my door and I call to get Frigidaire to schedule the repairman back to install it. We schedule one of those between 8 - 12 appointments and we get stood up with no call to reschedule.

    I call the local company Frigidaire sent out originally and they claimed there was no work order received to do the job. Then they say they no longer work with Frigidaire due to late/no payment issues. After calling FA back they can't find me any help and say they will keep looking and get back to me, which they never did. I decided to install the part myself and find out it's obviously wrong because it is just a cosmetic piece nothing more. I don't know who screwed up but at this point I was done dealing with FA.

    I called the place we purchased it from to see if they could help and found out they have an in-house service center, I wish I knew that or at least FA should have known that since they are located in the town I live in. Anyway, they came out "actually" checked it and ordered a part 3 weeks ago. Three weeks later they are still waiting on the part from FA. In the meantime, the water dispenser starts dripping nonstop. I was told by the local service center to try replacing the filter with a FA factory part which I did and it still drips. We are three plus months into this mess, nothing has been resolved. I would not recommend the Frigidaire/Electrolux brand.
