      ShopSolar is a great option for buying solar equipment for do-it-yourself projects. You can find basically everything needed for an off-grid or hybrid setup. Overall, it has a nice selection of equipment, fast deliveries and good communication.

It's in a cabin that is rarely used and I put it there for cost savings. There's no electricity down there and this is the sole electrical source. So, if you only owed $2,000 the year you went solar, you could claim the remaining $1,000 the next taxable year.
