When the finance director contacted me to go over the details, I had not been provided the numbers beforehand. I specifically requested that the numbers be sent to me so I could review everything. The trade-in value I had originally been quoted did not match the paperwork, and when I received the revised summary, other numbers had changed as well. Most concerning was the title/registration fee, which increased from approximately $110 to $628 without a clear explanation or itemized breakdown. The biggest issue is that I was never actually given the opportunity to place the deposit and secure the vehicle. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told that another customer had come in later that day and secured the vehicle with a deposit. I was then told that I had not secured the vehicle and had simply chosen not to move forward after receiving the numbers.

That explanation does not make sense to me. I had been actively working with the dealership since early that morning, provided all requested information, had my trade-in evaluated, and authorized a hard credit inquiry. I was clearly taking steps toward purchasing the vehicle. Yet I was never given accurate, finalized numbers to agree to, nor was I given the opportunity to place the deposit I had originally called about. What is especially frustrating is that another customer was apparently allowed to secure the vehicle while I was still actively working through the purchase process.

Ultimately, my experience involved changing numbers, an unexplained increase in fees, a hard credit inquiry, lack of transparency, and poor communication. I also spent significant time making arrangements to travel from Florida to Tennessee based on the understanding that I was working toward purchasing this vehicle. My advice to anyone considering this dealership: get every number and agreement in writing before authorizing a credit pull, making travel arrangements, or assuming a vehicle is being held for you. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership.
