A week of sales
Much like last year, Walmart will be going head-to-head with Amazon, with both retailers hosting major sales events ahead of the holiday season at the same time.
Amazon’s “BIG DEALS” Prime Day event is scheduled to run from Tuesday, October 10, at 3:00 a.m. ET through Wednesday, October 11. The retailer is already boasting Black Friday-level discounts, and new deals are expected to drop every five minutes during certain portions of the sale.
