Walmart+ members will get early access to holiday savings

Black Friday is just a few weeks away and Walmart has officially announced its plans for shoppers.

This year, Walmart will host two Black Friday Deals sales events, both of which start a few days earlier online than they do in stores. Those sales will then transition into more savings on Cyber Monday.

The first Black Friday Deals event will begin online on Wednesday, November 8, at 3 p.m. ET, and will continue in stores on Friday, November 10. The second Black Friday Deals event will begin on Wednesday, November 22, at 3 p.m. ET, and will continue in stores on Friday, November 24.

Walmart+ members will get three extra hours of both sales, with deals beginning for members at 12:00 p.m. ET on both days.

“Our customers are going to be wowed by the amazing savings on popular gifts, many of which can only be found at Walmart,” said Latriece Watkins, Walmart’s executive vice president and chief merchandising officer.

“We have very exciting Black Friday events planned, with the type of extraordinary value, incredible assortment, and an easy, convenient shopping experience only Walmart can offer. We’ve worked to make sure it’ll be our customers’ best Black Friday experience yet.”

Convenient shopping this holiday season

In addition to Black Friday – and before the holiday sales officially kick off – Walmart is offering shoppers rollback deals on many of the season’s most popular gifts. Everything from iPads, video game systems, TVs, strollers, and more are currently available at low prices – and will be throughout the holiday season.

Walmart will also launch a holiday wish list page on its website, making it easy for consumers to keep track of everything they need to purchase this holiday season.

And if you don’t know what to get for the kids in your life, the Toy Registry can make that easier. Families can create wish lists of toys specifically from Walmart, taking the guesswork out of gift-giving this season.

Shoppers will also be able to track their favorite deals throughout the holiday season when shopping on Walmart’s website or mobile app. By clicking on the heart icon next to items, shoppers will automatically create a “My Saved Deals” list, which can be shared with friends and family for gift inspiration or to track sales and discounts throughout the holiday season.
