I have to give a shout out to Home Depot Associate Bethany from the Stroudsburg PA store. Without delay Bethany breezed through the return line and within only a five minute wait I was called up to process the return. Not only was Bethany very courteous and professional, her knowledge of the return process was exceptional!! I truly believe Miss Bethany is an asset to the Home Depot and should be acknowledged and respected as such.

I want to give a shout out to to Natalie K. Cranberry Township, Pa. Home Depot. She was very helpful and when she was not sure she went and got the answer I needed. I saw her twice when ordering my blinds and everything has turned out better than I expected. I would go back and recommend her to anyone. Hire more like her.

Home Depot-YONKERS 7/7/26: A wonderful associate approached me and offered assistance. I believe her name was NADEAN (or possibly Danea). She was extremely knowledgeable and immediately asked for the SKU number in my app. The products I wanted were not displayed on the shelves, she went above and beyond by bringing a tall ladder and searching the overhead inventory in boxes. Using the SKU number from the Home Depot app, she was able to locate the exact product I needed.

I truly appreciate her outstanding customer service, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile. Without her help, I probably would have left without making my purchase and might not have returned to shop at this location. Thank God Home Depot still has dedicated employees like her who genuinely care about helping customers. She deserves to be recognized for her exceptional service. - from Hazel

This review is to show my gratitude for the compassion, commitment to excellence, and going above & beyond the call of duty by a staff member named Sergio at Home Depot in Florida. In my life's experience there have been times when circumstances proved heavy and a kind soul, hard to find. Sergio - who didn't know me from Adam - showed me that there ARE angels in human form. They walk among us and one of them is on staff at Home Depot. Thank you, Sergio, for being you. God bless you, Maria Teresa

I had sent the following to Corporate (and I think Home Depot’s store site). "Because of health conditions and Canada's Forest fire smoke, I purchased 20ct 3M 8210 “PLUS” N95 masks on 7/17/2026. I also paid the extra $2.99 for expedited delivery. Home Depot sent me the wrong N-95 Mask twice. I tried to get Home Depot to refund the delivery fee due to the fact that they picked and sent me the wrong item. The difference. One says "PLUS" and the other doesn't. I ordered the "PLUS". I realize the fee was just $2.99, but I paid that for the purpose of receiving the correct item promptly, which I did receive the 3M 8210 N-95 Masks but not the 3M 8210 “PLUS” N-95 Masks, and not for the wrong item (please note the “PLUS,” it is a different N-95 mask). It's more about the principle than the money.

Home Depot refuses to give me a refund of $2.99 because it was an additional charge above and beyond the cost of the product and was a third-party charge. So, once I was finally notified that there was no wrongdoing on Home Depot's part, I paid that disputed $2.99 fee to maintain my credit. But the frosting on the cake after paying, I got another Home Depot bill asking again for that $2.99 plus an additional $2.00 fee for interest. Initially, I was told not to pay the $2.99 until their investigation was completed. So as a courtesy to Home Depot since they feel they did a great job, I cancelled all my Home Depot charge cards. And, as an added courtesy, I will spread the word that Home Depot will screw customers over for pennies on the dollar if you pay for expedited service and they send you what you didn't order.

Home Depot doesn't think they should have to pay for their mistake. One last thing, I did give Home Depot a second chance to send me the correct item. Guess what, it was the same wrong 8210 N95 mask, not the "PLUS". So, after two wrong orders and my time to return the wrong items twice, I order the 3M 8210 "PLUS" N95 masks from Walmart and they got it correct product on the first try. I will not buy from Home Depot unless it is only to match what I bought in the past because it was a “Home Depot exclusive.” Personally, I don’t think Home Depot even deserves one star." Home Depot failed to eat their mistake and refund that $2.99 even though Home Depot wasn't the delivering entity.

As stated above, Home Depot picked and sent me the wrong ordered product, and since they don't want to own up to their mistake, I paid that $2.99, closed my Home Depot credit cards, will not shop there again if avoidable, and will spread the word that Home Depot will not refund third party delivery fees even though it was Home Depot that screwed up. Had it been my fault, not a problem, but it wasn't. Over the past several years I've made many major purchases from Home Depot, but not again. I will spread the word that Home Depot will not acknowledge that they are at fault. Too bad that they chose to take that course. From now on Lowe's and/or Menards will get my business. This will also be posted and a third-party site since I think Home Depot took down my first review on their site.

Had a last minute buy to repair an appliance. I take the old noticeable part with me for reference. Get to the self checkout since there are no open registers and I am "welcomed" by this employee who's staring me down clearly seeing the old part in my hand. I pay and put both item in the bag and out of nowhere she comes and start asking questions about what I got. Clearly showing her the old part, she makes up a nonsense excuse and walks away. Not a good business model to harass customers like that. The store manager Jeniffer ** needs to lay off those tactics.

I ordered an ALEKO 16-ft. motorized retractable patio awning from Home Depot for $453.10. It was delivered on September 13, 2026, but when I opened the package, it contained only the awning fabric. There was no frame, motor, hardware, or the other components necessary to make this the complete product I purchased. What makes this even more concerning is that the shipping label on the ONLY package delivered clearly states “2 of 2.” I never received package “1 of 2.” I also have Ring camera video and photographs documenting that UPS delivered only one package.

I immediately contacted Home Depot Customer Service. Instead of arranging to send the missing package or promptly replacing the incomplete order, I was told I had to return what I received and wait for the refund process before obtaining another one. Home Depot arranged a UPS pickup, but the return information listed the package as weighing approximately 98 pounds, even though the package I actually received contained only the awning fabric and weighed substantially less. I specifically brought this discrepancy to the UPS driver's attention when he picked it up. He explained that he could only use the return label he was provided.

I preserved Ring video and photographs documenting both the original delivery and the return pickup, as well as photographs showing that the package delivered to me was labeled “2 of 2.” I returned everything Home Depot actually delivered to me. What disappoints me most is Home Depot's response. I paid in full and expected the complete product I ordered. Home Depot failed to deliver the complete order, yet I was expected to deal with the return, refund process, additional delay, and inconvenience. I have since submitted a formal complaint to Home Depot Corporate and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

This experience has seriously changed my opinion of Home Depot and whether I want to continue doing business with the company. After this matter is resolved and my Home Depot credit card balance is paid in full, I intend to close the account and take my future home-improvement purchases elsewhere. When a retailer fails to deliver a customer's complete purchase, the customer should not be the one who bears all of the inconvenience and consequences of correcting that failure.

Second many other reviews here. They jack up costs. Take months to deliver. Fail to disclose pertinent information and treat their customers like garbage. Go anywhere else. I ordered a custom door. They delivered 2 defective doors. Failed to disclose that the installer wouldn’t install my existing screen door. No one would call me or return my calls to order the screen door. They then said I’d have to wait another 5 months and who knows what I’d get. So I cancelled the order. After my 2nd defective door I stopped payment. When I spoke with customer service they said their policy was that you pay until they decide to deliver conforming goods in violation of their credit policy and UCC but they still ruined my credit because I stopped payment after waiting 4 months and getting 2 defective doors.

READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BUYING AT HOME DEPOT! First off, DO NOT buy an appliance from Home Depot, ever. Your return window is 48 hours and no one can really know if they like something within that timeframe. So that is my first piece of advice, stop here and go straight to Costco or Sam's Club or ANYWHERE ELSE they actually stand by their products and care whether customers are satisfied with their purchase and have a more robust customer-centric return/replacement policy. Also, LG will not help you either, so neither the manufacturer nor the retailer care about you.

Now on to the fridge itself (LG INSTAVIEW MY COLOR w/ CRAFT ICE). It is really poor, poor quality for the price. For nearly $3000 even with the "special discounts" there are so many things wrong with it that you will probably hate as much as we do. The most annoying thing about it is the craft ice maker. It produces THREE pieces of ice a day. No, that is not a typo. If you hit the "super high production" button it produces SIX, but you have to hit that button every day or it goes back to the original 3 pieces a day production volume. It also does not have the ability to produce regular ice, only craft, so you end up with a big empty bin in your freezer with no ice in it. We bought it with the promise that it produces so much ice you cannot even use it and that is simply not true. If you use a regular amount of regular ice, and 3 pieces of craft ice per day, then this will fit your needs.

On the subject of water, we have tried several filters and even added a second filter at the source of the water and the water tastes so bad/off that we cannot use it. Our super fancy expensive fridge can't even be used for the basics, like water and ice. So even if we wanted to use our exorbitant 3 pieces of craft ice per day, if we do it tastes disgusting and there doesn't seem to be anything we can do about it (cleaning, several types of filters, cycling, flushing). LG says it's our water line intake, yet our old fridge (13 year old Samsung) did not have this issue. It's not the water line.

On to other design flaws. The drawers are not soft close as we thought they were, again, our mistake for believing the Home Depot representative, so you can learn from our mistakes. So when you close the doors and drawers you have to basically slam them so they shut all the way and the contents, especially on the door, jiggle and clang when you shut them.

The "knock window" is just a useless gimmick and be aware that you can always see the contents of your fridge, the dark window does not actually ever darken to the point where you can't see what's on the door. So unless you keep a perfectly tidy fridge door, you have to look at it every day. When you choose to light it up with a color (yet another gimmick) it makes it even brighter so it's even more obvious what's in there. If you like gazing at your milk and ketchup every single day, this is a good fit for you.

The quick open door on the front is also a useless gimmick. Yes, you can open it to grab things without having to open the whole door, which is nice given the aforementioned shutting mechanism... at least this way you don't have to hear everything bang together when you shut it. However, you can only get to the front row of items, so if you want anything from the back part of the shelf either you can unload everything in the first row to reach those items, or you can just open the full door which makes the "quick access" door really pointless. The very top shelf you cannot even get to at all because it has a back that goes up too high. You can kind of slip a stick of butter up over the top of it, but it's nearly impossible to get anything out, especially if it's any larger than a small stick of butter.

You have to open both french doors to properly see anything in the main fridge because of the depth of the fridge. It seems so great to have a large volume fridge, but you cannot even reach anything. Also, all the shelves have to be removed and repositioned, there is no feature to quickly move them up and down, and there is no "half shelf" that can quickly open up a space for larger/taller items. Our 13 year old fridge had this feature, so I guess we assumed the new, modern, $3000 LG would have at least this basic feature. We guessed wrong, and again... our mistakes are now for you to learn from.

Lastly, or at least what I can think of at the moment, is the no handles. Yes, it looks cleaner and more streamlined, but it gets filthy within a day unless you are completely diligent about only opening it from the very bottom handles. You cannot even get leverage properly without sort of putting your thumb on the front of the fridge, so even if you try your hardest, it pretty impossible. So if you have kids, good luck. I hope you like wiping the front down daily because that's what it takes. It is absolutely NOT AT ALL "fingerprint resistant". Do not believe that nonsense for a second.

Alright. Since there is nothing we can do to get rid of this fridge, at least my fellow consumers should benefit from our dissatisfaction with this product. In case you missed it at the beginning of this novel, DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE, do not buy a fridge at Home Depot in general, do not pass go, do not collect $200... walk away, don't hit the "buy now" button, and run as fast as you can and find another fridge and another retailer. I hope this helps you make a decision whether to buy this product. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to discuss this more. I am willing to help you avoid my same conundrum.

When I got to the register the 2nd associate had to call City Bank which did not answer. My counsin was with me and the whole ordeal took over an hour. My back hurt by the time we walked out.

I then called the Home Depot Order line spending 2 hours on the phone with them. I spoke with supervisor which rewrote the order. I had setup delivery for 8-22-26 from 2 pm until 6 pm at my vacation home address. On Saturday they tried up deliver the refrigerator to my occupied home address. This was at 7:00 am. This was the wrong address. So I called the order line again to have the whole order rewritten again. Supervisor urie rewrote the order and she needed the Home Depot credit card number. So I got in touch with Citibank and the big shot manager refused to give me the credit card number and he stated that the card was sent to me through the US mail. I nerver received the credit card. So I then called the Home Depot order line again and the associate wanted the order number.

Supervisor Urie never gave me the order number. So now I have to go a home depot store to order it again because they have access to my Home Depot Credit Card. I have spent hours on ordering this refrigerator. The associates st Home Depot need retraining. There whole ordering system is a mess which is so sad for the consumer.

Pay attention to the customers. When you see a customer wandering around aimlessly chances are they can’t find what they’re looking for. Perhaps, approach them and ask if you can help them find something? Isn’t that what staff are there for? This, in EVERY Home Depot I’ve ever set foot in. When someone orders something online then ship it. Don’t let it sit around for a week to the point where even the carrier is wondering what’s taking so long. Then the customer cancels the order after they’ve realize it’s never going to ship. This has occurred more often than not. If the item isn’t shipping because it’s not physically in YOUR possession then don’t list it as being in stock. Your supplier may have it in stock but YOU DON’T!!

Horrible, horrible, horrible. A pile of incompetence and disregard for their customers. They were unable to fulfill a straightforward order, yet instead of being honest about the issue, they attempted to pass off lower-quality substitute products in place of the items I actually ordered. They tried to scam me. I know exactly what I ordered, and I returned the cheap substitutes they sent. I tried to get a discount for a new order I placed as a symbolic compensation for the damage they did to my project and I got no help yet, they use all sort of AI robots and they wasted all my time.

It feels to me that the store personnel has not too much to do with the problem, but the issue is a result of deceptive marketing strategy not aligned with the sales people and field operations. The employee from more Home Depot locations confirmed to me what was already obvious, that the home depot online portal is showing false information, lying the customers. I personally find this disturbing. I called them wasting more than an hour on the phone to request customer satisfaction, they give me nothing, they don't care at all. They tried to manipulate me, they talked over me, they put me on hold long minutes, they won't escalate. I knew the onyx colors I wanted as well as the horizontal niche and shower head. What I got was a vertical niche and a totally different shower head. When I brought it to the project manager attention I was told “we have to keep the project on schedule”. The onyx installation was horrible and had to be redone. The plumbing was increased by $4,700.00 in order to fix the pitch. It was only after I complained to the main office in Atlanta that I was given $2,500.00 refunded for overcharging.

If I had not complained I would have been stuck paying that additional money. I think that could be considered fraud. You will definitely want to avoid having Home Depot doing any remodeling in your home. Also this one week Reno took over 4 months to complete and it still wasn’t a professional looking job.

I purchased a GE washer and dryer in July 2025 with extended warranty. The washer is now making loud squeaking noises even when running a cycle empty. We called for repairs and had to prove the machine was needing repair. Then they scheduled the technician and ordered the parts they said we needed. The technician had to reschedule multiple times due to parts not being delivered in time for the repair. Then when both parts and technician were finally at the house he takes apart the machine completely. Parts were all over my house. He’s glaring at my special needs child the whole time. Then he checks and sees that the parts ordered were not the correct ones. He tosses the machine back together (I really don’t believe it was put back correctly based on how it was taken apart) and leaves. The only information we are given is that it’s the wrong parts and we need the right parts.

We are given the understanding that a new appointment can be made when the right parts are ordered. Next thing we know there will be no repair but a replacement. One minute later another email comes that there will be no replacement because there are no same or equivalent models available. Instead they want us to accept a Home Depot gift card. I make calls and check stores and see my exact model in store less than 30 minutes away from my house able to be delivered in a week. The gift card they want me to accept is for less than the cost of getting the same model machine. They want me to take less money in the form of a gift card to their store, pay the difference to replace it myself, pay delivery and take away if the old machine and pay for any hook up and installation service and parts. This is not honoring the warranty!

I’m already losing money paying to use the machines at a laundromat (clothes for four people including kids) because of how this has drug on. I called to speak with someone directly and get the back and forth between warranty support and customer service with Home Depot. I finally speak to someone with warranty support who says the technician listed the machine as being “not repairable”. What are you talking about? The machine squeaked loudly but operated until he took it apart. What did he do to my machine? The technicians report didn’t mention the wrong parts either. At this point I can only believe he destroyed my machine and they are now trying to sweep it under the rug.

DO NOT TRUST THEY WILL DELIVER WHEN IT SAYS. They refused to place another order immediately because of their process. Would not recommend at all!

I recently purchased a new garage door through Home Depot and then was referred to their outside vendor? First, I was told it would take a week for the install inspection; it took three weeks and couldn't get ahold of anyone? When I finally spoke to someone he was obviously intoxicated and clearly bothered that I had called him? After the installation review I was told the door would be installed in several weeks? Two more weeks went by and then I was told I owed Home Depot another $222.00 to throw the old door away? Upon paying the additional fee inside the store I was then assured my door was scheduled to be installed!

Another two weeks went by and I just called the store and they have informed me it will take another 4 weeks because my door is in production (complete lie)! I ordered a standard door with no frills? Please 🙏🏻 if you don't want to become frustrated, treated poorly and consistently lied to take a pass on ordering anything from home depot?? On a scale from 1 to 10 .... 10 being best my experience has been a 1?

Look, I love the Deeps, but their on-line super, super sucks. We have all come to our “go-to” place, but again, I ordered a hammer on line, shipped from Ohio, and took 3days to process & ship. Shipping to SE Wisconsin has, at this writing, taken 7 day and is said, according to the information on shipping, another week. WTF? It’s the ** DEEPS! A pinche hammer from Stiletto- of which is a TTI Company, which Home Depot jumped in bed with, taking this long for a ** titanium hammer! I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING from Deeps online, ever again. Boo on Home Depot!

I purchased a refrigerator and had it installed. The delivery people were great but they could not reverse the swing of the door. They said it wasn't on the work order. I naively thought installation would include this service. I was wrong. I would have needed to call customer service and have someone come out to switch it. Maybe another 4 hour service window... Lucky I am pretty good at such things but it still took me a couple of hours to switch the swing. I'm disappointed HD did not advise me when I made the purchase.

I went to this store, my local Home Depot, to rent a small truck that I used to bring some old patio furniture to the township recycling center. I thought that the rates were very reasonable, but when I returned I was told that I needed to replace the gas that I used. I clocked the mileage from my home to the store, it is 5.5 miles. The recycling center is on the road between my home and the store, so I drove about 11 miles. The charge to "replace the gas that I used" was $21! Do the math, even if the truck got only 10 miles to the gallon, I paid $21 per gallon! Complete ripoff.

While the staff at Home Depot are very helpful and I have never had reason to complain. This is about the company itself. This is not the first time that I have checked my bill after purchasing something only to find an overcharge in one form or another, although the staff is courteous and are happy to help the problem is not corrected so the next person has the same overcharge happen to them. Example bought 2 light bulbs but was charged for 12 eco fees for those 2 bulbs. When I brought attention to that I was given a refund so I asked that will be changed so it does not happen again and they flat out said that they could not say that it would be corrected.

It was in the computer so the finger cannot be pointed at any cashier and it takes so long to get it straightened out people probably feel it is not worth the time so they get away with it! All I can do is try to make people aware that they are being overcharged with no regard from the establishment of Home Depot. Should have been a .40 cent eco fee which helps how exactly? But was charged $2.40. Took 10 minutes to get a 2 dollar refund.

I still do not have the item and cannot continue to work around home depots careless timeframe. Complete lack of respect for me and my time. I want to cancel this and receive a full refund. AND I want to bill you for my missed time off work and the countless hours on the phone, emailing, waiting and chatting with online bots and "real people" who seem to have no ability to do anything to rectify this situation.

My Home Depot truck rental experience was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I reserved a rental truck three weeks in advance at the Carol Stream, IL Home Depot. When I arrived to pick it up, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled. No one could explain why, and I had received no phone call, email, or any other notification that my reservation no longer existed.

The rental associate did everything they could to help, but they were just as confused as I was. They even told me this isn't an uncommon occurrence and that two other customers the day before had also been turned away after their reservations were mysteriously cancelled. That says this is a systemic problem, not an isolated mistake.

The associate searched for another available truck and found one at the Downers Grove Home Depot. Before making the drive, I called that store myself and was told they had a truck available. After driving all the way there, I was met by employees who informed me they had misread the computer system and there was actually no truck available.

I asked to speak with a manager. While he acknowledged my frustration, he also couldn't explain why my original reservation had been cancelled. After a lengthy discussion, the only solution offered was a truck that had been taken out of service because of a broken windshield wiper. Since I had no other option and urgently needed the truck, I accepted it.

To the manager's credit, he reduced my rental charge by 50% for the 2.5-hour rental, and I appreciate that gesture. However, a discount doesn't fix the underlying issue. The most frustrating part is that Home Depot allows customers to reserve trucks weeks in advance, charges a reservation fee, and then apparently provides no guarantee whatsoever that the truck will actually be there. If reservations can simply disappear without notice, what is the purpose of making one?

To make matters worse, the manager even suggested that perhaps I was supposed to do something after making the reservation to confirm it. I did exactly what Home Depot required—I made the reservation, received a confirmation number, and paid the reservation fee. There was nothing else I was instructed to do. My advice to anyone considering a Home Depot truck rental is simple: don't rely on the reservation. Even if you have a confirmation number and have paid the reservation fee, there is apparently no assurance that a truck will be available when you arrive. If you're moving or working on a project with a strict schedule, be prepared for the possibility that your reservation could be cancelled without warning and without explanation. This entire experience was frustrating, inconvenient, and completely avoidable. Home Depot needs to fix its reservation system or stop calling it a reservation in the first place.

I have patronized this store for a decade and it stubbornly retains an issue. Odds & ends, American industrial staples, may not be sexy best sellers but fix problems on time. A recent trip discovered the array of "holes" in the wire mesh fencing products rack in that Bay. Looking for a Makita XPS T25 showed the pegboard mess in that Bay hadn't been touched since I looked over a month ago. Plenty of "Homers" running about, but neglected pockets durably fester untouched. What gives?

Home Depot Seymour Indiana is the pits. I seen a stove I want it on sale for $1,060 so I ordered it and a 5-year warranty because I'm a 71-year-old woman by myself. I also ordered a microwave over the stove $207 and the extended warranty. I also ordered a new dishwasher and extended warranty then I ordered some a few small things. They're trying to tell me I didn't order nothing except for the stove when I know better. The finance company I went through they even said that I had other stuff on that order they refunded $$275 which isn't right even with the finance charges. The extended warranty on the stove should not come up to right at $2,000 when the stove was on sale for $1,060. Do not go to Home Depot to buy anything. I know I will never step foot in their store again

Home Depot 4106 Hwy 20/26 Idaho. I rarely write reviews. This Home Depot was so impressive yesterday. The paint department had qualified people for deck stains and really took some time. We bought the stain and the whole transaction was flawless and very efficient to people's time. I am not a fan of no one to assist at checkout. They had two people that stepped up immediately to help or just thank you for choosing Home Depot. Not overwhelming just available and would do whole check out if you needed that. This kind of service will put other stores on notice. Everyone wants efficient, kind service. Well done Home Depot>.
