Bought a Cub Cadet 42-inch riding mower from the Depot on April 2nd. They did not offer me a Home Depot Warranty for it. Was told that Cub Cadet mowers come with a factory warranty. Had 10 hours on it when the Briggs & Stratton engine stopped. Called Home Depot on July 31st when the engine stopped. I was told that they don't have anything to do with the warranty because I didn't buy their warranty which wasn't offered at the time of the sale. Gave me a number to call to get a list of certified dealers for Cub Cadet (Home Depot is not a Certified Dealer for Cub Cadet, they just sell them for $$$ they make).
Took my mower to a certified dealer for repair and now over 4 months later my mower is still in pieces on their floor because Cub Cadet will not warranty the engine. Cub Cadet said that they do not make the engine, and it is not their problem. Go back to Briggs & Stratton. The Cub Cadet certified dealer is not a certified dealer for Briggs & Stratton, so after more than 4 months they cannot get a replacement engine for my mower.
I have called Home Depot, Cub Cadet and the Certified dealer numerous times. Home Depot and Cub Cadet, both said it is not their problem. So here I am with a $2000 plus mower that I used for 10 hours, and nobody will stand up and be responsible for the mower. I doubt that I will ever get my mower back in running condition and most likely have to pay the Certified Service Dealer for the time they have into it. There was a time when Home Depot would stand behind the products they sell or would help take care of your problem, but not in this case. I even filled a complaint with the Home Depot Credit Card that I charged the mower on but doubt that it will help. I am done buying at Home Depot. I have also left a review for Cub Cadet.

Dealing with HomeDepot his week has been an absolute nightmare. The store only carries displays for appliances, so they said it has to be ordered off line. They gave me a phone number for assistance. I called in and the lady processed my order. I gave her the exact model number that I wanted and explained it was an LG brand. When the order arrived at my home, it was a Samsung item which I ordered LG. The lady put in the wrong item number that did not match what I gave her. I called back in, and they gave the run around and transferred me maybe 8 times for approximately 6hrs. Which resulted in me having to repurchase the correct item while I wait on them to pick up this wrong item and process a refund.
Then I get an early time delivery/pickup time of 8am-12 noon which is perfect because I have things to do on the delivery date. Also they always give a four hour window. Then the time changed to 10:30a-2:30p which completely inconvenience my schedule. When I called back in they just keep saying they have to give a 4hr window but can't guarantee any particular time. The customer service lady had an attitude from the moment that she answered the phone. I would highly recommend people just keep it simple and go to Lowes for appliances because most time they do have product on hand which will be less of a hassle.

I'm doing a project here at the house and little by little I'm buying some pavers 1 day at a time because they are too heavy for me to carry since I'm doing it by myself. This time I put 20 pavers from the garden center on a cart along with other items. I pushed the cart toward the checkout but left the cart to get other items in the main store since it's too heavy to push around. I was looking for something else and maybe gone less than 10 minutes but when I went back my cart was gone. I asked the cashier and she didn't know, another girl said someone might've thought they were returns. 20 pavers??
When I got another cart to start all over again this man overheard me and said he took the cart that had the pavers on them and just witnessed a girl putting them back. So here I go again starting all over again!! I should've just left the store cause I was so tired from stacking the pavers the first time. I'm 69 years old and too old to be going through this. I think you should have some kind of tags to leave on the carts when you leave them near the checkout areas. I love shopping at Home Depot so I hope this doesn't happen again cause I'm going back to get some more pavers. For the inconvenience I should've just paid half price!!

Home Depot has failed me for the last time. I was told the product I ordered would arrive on a certain date, I was told it had shipped, given a tracking number, and the shipment was lost. I was told my only option was to cancel the order, re-order, and wait another month for the order, despite the fact that their website says there were 976 units available of the product. So, their incompetence, lack of communication, and poor customer service made the issue mine to handle. HD made no effort to fix the problem on a very simple order. I've been an HD customer for decades, with various instances of frustration, but this is the last straw. All done with Home Depot.

Customer service sucks! Trying to deal with the payment deferral process was like having a Root Canal on the same tooth over and over. The worst part was that I could barely understand the male representative on the other end. It was completely garbled where I could only understand a few words here and there. Even after expressing my frustration with the bad reception coming from his end he just continued on like I never even mentioned it. Honestly don’t really know if my issue was taken care of. So frustrating! The left hand doesn’t seem to know what the right hand is doing. Every one in their department was confused.

This review is about Home Depot and their shipping company Estes in NJ- I ordered cabinets from the home decorators collection over 3 months ago. Cabinets came and one cabinet was smashed - unusable. I was forced to take it or return the entire order. Needed to start my kitchen and pantry. If I only knew then what I know now. 3 months later still no replacement on the damaged cabinet (can't install the other cabinets and countertop until this cabinet is in place). Estes has damaged 2 more cabinets and most likely a 3rd - packaging of the cabinets is suspect, but freight carrier is destroying the cabinets.
Broken frames - smashed pieces -major dents and scratches. Home decorators has been working to replace, and has been very pleasant always offering to replace the item, but I am still losing multiple days of work and money. HOME DEPOT COULD CARE LESS - took my money, no discount, no credit - 4 days off from work - 3 months no cabinets - paid contractor multiple times to be here for install only to have cabinet arrive damaged - it weighs almost 200lbs, I need help in moving it and now have hundreds pounds of garbage to move again.
Spent 2 hours just today not counting other times when the delivery company failed to show up - after another day off of work, for the home depot rep to go - oops - best we can do is they can come tomorrow - item requires signature and inspection, guess I should just take another day off, it's OK, it's not like the economy sucks and I may need money to buy food for my family, doesn't matter, I don't have no cabinets to put the food in anyways. I know this is the ramblings of a madman, but you can not understand the level of frustration. Do yourself a favor - save your hard earned money and buy cabinets from a company that cares - home depot doesn't care and will take your money and tell you to go pound salt.

I tried to buy some exterior siding material at the Spring Valley HD in Houston on I10. The experience was terrible. A 500$ order took 2 days to accomplish with multiple delays. Misunderstandings and inability to run my hd credit card through on phone. I finally had to go pay for it in person at another store. I paid extra for a 10 to 2 delivery and the next morning got a call at 7 and was told the delivery was for 6 to 8. A time no one was there to receive it. Overall a terrible experience - a very professionally operated company. They need many more folks, better systems and IT and better customer service training. McCoys, Lowe's and the Corner Store has them beat by a mile. If I were trading stock I'd be getting out of HD.

Been waiting 4 months for resolution on damaged appliances installed and damaged by "their team". Now dealing with credit services that can't seem to get their stuff together. Almost have entire bill paid off and they are claiming they haven't received payment in 2 months. Bank sent the money. They can't find it, but that's my problem. I purchased the Aleko 8-person sauna cabin through Home Depot, and while the sauna itself seems solid overall, there were several issues that affected my experience. The sauna arrived with visible exterior damage due to poor packaging, which was disappointing. The shipping crates were in bad shape upon delivery, and the sauna had scrapes and dents on several panels. The heater also did not function properly out of the box, as it only got slightly warm but failed to heat up after 15 minutes of use.
On a positive note, Aleko’s customer support has been responsive so far, and I’m optimistic that they will replace the faulty heater and compensate me for the damages. However, dealing with these issues has been time-consuming and inconvenient. Overall, the sauna has potential, but quality control during shipping and better packaging are areas that need improvement. If you’re willing to deal with potential delays in resolving issues, it could still be a good option.

I bought a Ryobi electric riding lawnmower from Home Depot and also the extended warranty plan they offered. While the mower was under warranty I needed a drive motor controller replaced. A simple plug and play part. A two-hour job tops. I would have and should have replaced the part myself but it was under warranty and the part cost $377 so why not use the warranty. Home Depot warranty department would not send me the part directly but set me up with a company to pick up my mower and replace the part. Home Depot warranty department scheduled the company to pick up my mower on June 17th 2024 to replace the drive motor controller.
The company Home Depot scheduled did not contact me so I called them. No answer, left message with no response. This went on for a couple weeks. I contacted Home Depot warranty department to let them know I was having difficulty contacting this small business that they set me up with to fix my mower. The Home Depot warranty department told me that this is the only company in the entire state of Washington that will do warranty work for them. I should have stopped my claim at that point but I was finally contacted by this company and they picked up the mower on July 3rd. They said it would be a week. Well, two weeks passed and no word on the mower.
I tried to call the company but no answer, left message with no response. Week 3 and week 4 pass by and still no word from this company. The Home Depot warranty department is also trying to contact this company during this time and getting no response. Week 5, and 6 pass and still no update. Finally, after over 7 weeks of calling this company someone answered the phone. After all that time all they could tell me was they ordered the wrong part. To keep the review short. After 3 months of opening my warranty claim and this company holding my mower and failing to fix it, communicate with me or the Home Depot warranty department, the Home Depot warranty department decided they had no other choice but to refund me the purchase price I paid for the mower. I did not want a refund.
My mower only had 74 hours on it and was always stored inside. There was nothing wrong with it other than replacing a very simple part. I asked for my mower to be returned to me but the Home Depot warranty department refused and said I opened the claim so they were keeping my mower. Yes, it was good to get the refund but looking at today’s prices I am looking at spending an additional $1500 or more out of pocket to replace my mower. I also spent $370 on a grass-catching attachment that now does me no good since they no longer make the model mower I had. This would have never happened if the Home Depot warranty department would have set me up with a legit business that had some ethics and respect to customers. This was a very costly mistake for me to buy high-cost items with warranties at Home Depot.

The Kingman Home Depot store (#HO416) asked me to stop placing “online” orders and to call them with SKU numbers so that the individual store would get credit for the orders. I ordered tens of thousands of dollars worth of building materials. They promised delivery on specific dates. They did NOT deliver as promised or even warn me that the materials would not be delivered. I paid contractors to drive from Phoenix (not knowing materials would NOT be delivered).
Additionally, several “ship to store” items that were supposed to be shipped to the Kingman Home Depot and then delivered to my property were actually shipped to me. This means that UPS and Fed Ex started calling me to pick up packages at the Kingman airport. At this point it is difficult, if not impossible, to determine what Home Depot Kingman thinks has been delivered. I am out tens of thousands of dollars. This store has completely ripped me off and cost me more in employee time and drives to get things than is fair. They owe me thousands of dollars of materials and have created sheer chaos. This is a complete disaster. Home Depot corporate tried to get the store manager (Mike **) on the phone to help me. When he did not answer they simply dropped my call on the store. I’m still on hold. This is completely unacceptable. How can anyone make a living this way???

We purchased a refrigerator on Sunday and was promised delivery Wednesday. We received a call that said delivery would be delayed until Friday which we are unavoidably out of town. Delay was due to a hurricane, as we live in the Pacific Northwest is so common for....NOT. If your supply chain for the Pacific Northwest is due the hurricane in the southeast you have a serious problem. So, I had chosen HD to install impact windows and doors, even though they are far more expensive than any other, but the fact that it was HD I felt, they will be in Florida and not disappear. They also told me their work was guaranteed for a lifetime. Well, 1 year and 2 months pass, (still paying for the windows under their 24-month, no interest) and we get two leaks. Called the roofer and I'm told it was due to the caulking on the recently installed windows. Need to go back to those that installed the windows. I felt, Oh no problem! I have HD! Well, called them and was told, "We only guarantee the windows, not the installation", re-caulking would have to be paid by us! But not to worry the installer would be calling me.
Disappointed, I expected to, maybe, change the mind of the installer, after all, it has only been 1 year and 2 months! Well, guess what, rather than a phone call we just got by DHL an Installation Services Limited Warranty from HOME DEPOT..... Yes, you guessed right! It states how HD's warranty is very limited. Wish I had been given that document PRIOR to my purchasing the very expensive windows. Mind you, they are more expensive than many other companies in Florida. The photo uploaded, it's just one of 2 windows where the caulking was not properly done. None of them are windows that you can open. The 2nd window is very high up on our second floor.

You’re a large company so it’s time to evolve with the times. Also your live chat on your website sucks because it’s a “real person” but the responses are clearly all copy and pasted from a bank of sentences corporate has given the person. Two months ago I purchased an electric clothes dryer from Home Depot. It was over $1000 after set up fee and taxes! The young man (I don’t know but at his age, I would say inexperienced) had a hard time getting the dryer back far enough to close the doors on laundry room. The dryer was exactly the same size as the old one. Exactly. So I asked what the problem was. He said he just couldn’t get it back far enough. When asked what I was to do he told me to hire someone to come in and do it. I JUST PAID HD TO SET IT UP!!!
Anyhow, I hired a couple of guys to come in and do it. They said he didn’t even run the vent house outside the house. He pulled the vent from the wall (which disconnected it from another house that ran outside) and just shoved the new vent through the wall. The wall was getting hot!!! That is lousy work! And then to have the attitude ‘I don’t care’. I have done business with HD for a number of years and have spent a lot of money there. But this is the last dollar they will ever see. Home Depot completely screwed me out of a project, by not allowing a tool rental due to their new CLEAR ID verification. The system doesn't allow military or temp IDs, and apparently, there is no way for a manager to override the requirement. I'm not a genius, but Home Depot screwed over customers by not allowing for all circumstances, as I'm sure I'm not the only person in the world that's waiting for my hard ID to be delivered.
When I call customer service, I was told there is nothing Home Depot would do to fix the situation or rectify it. So I just wasted a vacation day for nothing, and Home Depot doesn't give a crap. In addition, the customer service rep told me I must be lying about having rented the tool 2 weeks ago, because the CLEAR system has been in place for months. First of all, who the hell are you to call a customer a liar, and second I have the damn paperwork and order ID as proof! Thanks for wasting my time and money HD. My dishwasher broke so I ordered a new one from Home Depot. I waited a week for delivery. I was looking forward to finally getting this done. The installers showed up with the new washer, and I left them in the kitchen to return to working from home. Immediately I could hear them like there were on some phone call. I thought nothing of it, but apparently they took "issue" with the water valve under my sink that my current dishwasher was using. I did not understand the problem as it worked fine. After a few minutes they explained because since there was a slight amount of corrosion on the valve they could not install the dishwasher. I would either have to get a plumber to replace the valve and reschedule the installation, call an appliance place to install it, or return the unit and start over. I opted to schedule a plumber and rescheduled another installation attempt for a week out.
So the plumber comes out and tells me that he will replace it if I want, but there is nothing wrong with that valve. Further, he tells me that with dishwashers and Home Depot this is common and it actually happened to his own mother. He said he tried to tell the installers the valve was fine, but they would not budge. He then told them they could turn the water off to the entire house instead, nope not acceptable. They would not let the customer turn the water off at the house or at the valve nor would they let the customer sign a waiver. So unless you have a house that was just build the day before with shiny new everything they won't install your dishwasher.
So the valve was perfectly fine for a reasonable person to install a new dishwasher. I have been in my house 20 years and had bought dishwashers from Sears and Lowe's, and this was the only time the valve was a big issue. I am attaching a photo - you judge. It is still solid and works fine. The sketchy part of this was the original installer waited till his co worker had stepped away to tell me that he COULD in fact install the dishwasher that evening, after his shift ended for $200 under the table. So I paid Home Depot already for installation, which they lied and said they could not do it because of the valve, but the valve was apparently fine because this guy would have done it that night for another $200. I passed on it as this whole operation is shady, sleazy, and I doubt this random guy was bonded and insured nor did I think he'd warranty his work.
So the local plumber who I hired to come out to replace the "broken valve" said the valve was fine, and he ended up installing the dishwasher. But this is not the end of it. With the dishwasher Home Depot had left TWO cords - the junction box one for hardwiring dishwasher - which is what I intended to do - and a cord that plugged into a household outlet. The junction box cord was defective. Dishwasher would NOT power on. Home Depot is useless but Bosch will be sending us a brand new one. So to get me through while I wait for this replacement cord comes, the plumber connected it to the plug in one temporarily so I would not have to keep handwashing dishes yet another week.
I am beyond frustrated with this installation experience. I had them install a built in microwave and except for the fact they did not leave me my product booklet, that went fine. Anything that requires them to hook up to water - dishwasher/Washer/Fridge with ice maker - expect them to come up with a fake phony reason to NOT be able to honor your install appointment. YOU will have to spend ANOTHER $200 replacing the working valve if it is not shiny enough for them, BUT maybe, since the installer knows this policy is a bunch of BS, maybe you can pay the installer $200 - ON THE SIDE WINK WINK - and under the table they will install it.
I view this piece as a total SCAM. I will never buy another appliance from Home Depot ever again. I have relayed to 4 Home Depot customer service people so far my experience with the valve and the "under the table" guy and they just stay silent - like a "So what this is normal for Home Depot". So the company is condoning this. They don't care - they just want to sell you a dishwasher. They don't care if you plan to have it one day but in reality have to call in plumbers, electricians, whatever fake reason their install team can come up with to NOT do the planned install. Expect to wait at least a week longer and have to go through the expense and aggravation of getting something that is not broke fixed because their scam artist installers do not think it looks like it came out of a plumbing store. SKIP THEM.

I made the mistake of ordering appliances from Home Depot, and it’s been an absolute nightmare. They rescheduled delivery twice, claiming they didn’t have enough people to carry the appliances to the second floor of my townhome—despite me giving all the details when I placed the order. The first time, they said they’d send a three-man team, but when the second crew showed up, they used the exact same excuse: they couldn’t deliver without more people. Customer service had no clue what was going on both times and confirmed it should have been a three-man job. After an 11-day delay, the third delivery team finally arrived, only to damage my house in the process.
When I asked for compensation, they tried to make me choose between getting compensated or getting help with the damages. Ridiculous. After weeks of endless, useless follow-ups with customer service, they finally offered me compensation, but I had to eat the cost of house repairs because I didn’t want to wait for their insurance team, who clearly don’t know what they’re doing either.
And here’s a warning: if you’re ordering for your townhome, especially if your kitchen is on the second floor and your washer/dryer is on the third floor, be prepared to waste both your money and peace of mind with these guys. They’re completely unprofessional and ill-equipped to handle deliveries to multi-level homes. This is hands-down the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. To Whom It May Concern, I would strongly advise against ordering items from Home Depot through their online app. There appears to be a glitch in the application that fails to notify customers when their packages have been delivered. Unfortunately, my family and I experienced this firsthand. After one of our packages was stolen without us being aware it had even been delivered, I contacted Home Depot multiple times to address the issue. Their response was disappointing. They acknowledged that the package delivery notification system was malfunctioning but still refused to take responsibility because their delivery partner, ONTRAK, had taken a photo showing the package on our porch.
Here’s the solution they offered me: "We are sorry this happened and we understand your frustration. While we recognize the issue with the delivery notifications, there isn't anything we can do. You will need to file a report with the police for the missing package, send that report to Citibank, and possibly get reimbursed for the item. You can then reorder it."
This response places the burden on customers, even though the failure to notify was due to a glitch in their system. If you're elderly, disabled, or have any limitations, this process could be especially cumbersome. Essentially, if you don't know your package has arrived and it’s stolen, Home Depot will not take responsibility, even if it’s due to a flaw in their app. Instead, they expect you to navigate a complicated process of filing a police report and seeking reimbursement from your bank. Consider this a warning to potential customers. My advice: test the system with a small order to see if notifications work for you before committing to larger purchases. Best wishes, and hopefully, you won’t have to learn the hard way as we did.

I had an electrician fix the wire and the crew came back the next week to install the dishwasher. They broke some of the pieces and told me that they were done and left. When I opened the dishwasher to test it, the broken pieces were apparent. I called home depot within 5 minutes of the installation. They transferred me from department to department, stating that it is the installer's responsibility, then it was GE's responsibility, then, after a month of transfers and rejections, they finally told me it was not their responsibility and there was nothing I can do now. Be warned. They took my money and gave me a defective product. Don't let this happen to you too!

I even complained to head office. I lost a contractor and was charged partial amount for him missing out on other jobs. I still have no shower, no refund and absolutely no support from HD. They suck. Never order anything from them if you're on a schedule. They give you fake delivery dates, charge to deliver inside and then don't deliver.

He took my receipt to customer service, got my refund and brought my receipt to my car. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you, Zach!

I ordered some boxes online from Home Depot for an upcoming move. After receiving an email that my items were delivered, I reached out via their customer service support text number as I had not received them. "Alex" my customer support agent sent me a photo from FedEx confirming the delivery -- only problem, it wasn't my house. After letting Alex know this, he took it upon himself to look up my address in Google street view and try to argue with me about the color of my house (he was looking at my neighbor's house). Very weird and accusatory behavior, I've never had a customer service agent do something as unprofessional as that before in my life. Obviously I pointed out my house and he never apologized but simply said he was "going off what Google photos showed"???
When I asked for a refund for the package they didn't deliver to me, I was told that "FedEx is the one that delivered the package and we need to allow them to investigate." He also told me to dispute it with my credit card company. Absolutely wild dodge of any and all responsibility here, which I can only assume is actual company policy (on top of the weird internet sleuthing and accusations, which may have just been this rep). After I let him know I was pretty dissatisfied with this interaction and would report it if I didn't get a refund in the next 3 days, he continued to argue with me pretty unnecessarily.
I will report it if I don't receive a refund (although I would imagine they would want to avoid being reported like this? Baffling) but hopefully it will come through. Either way I intend to try to file a complaint for this interaction as it was very aggressive and adversarial for no reason. It was like twenty dollars and I know what my house looks like -- not sure why a company like this is denying they dropped the ball, trying to pin it solely on the delivery company, and more to the point had an incredibly unprofessional customer service representative to handle this with me. They honestly could have told me it would take 3 days to resolve, in a very different manner, and I would have understood. The approach instead was nothing short of hostile and has left me with a very bad impression of the company.

I have been a loyal Home Depot customer for a long time. On July 22nd 2024 I purchased a Samsung fridge from the Allen Park, MI store. At the store I was told that the fridge will be delivered on the 29th and on the 28th I received a timeframe which was between 3-7. No one showed up. When I called home depot that night they said that they were told that delivery company did not receive the fridge on time to be delivered to me on the 29th and they rescheduled the delivery for the Aug 3rd. I called home depot on the 2nd telling them that I have not received a timeframe for the delivery and I was told that sometimes they send it late and assured me that it was going to be delivered on the next day but it was a no show. And I was rescheduled for the 6th and no one showed up and again they rescheduled it for today (Aug 8th 2024).
7:10 pm and I did not receive a timeframe for the delivery. Of course I called home depot customers service at 5:00 pm and they said I should still receive the timeframe. I have been on the phone so many times but basically they are telling me I am at mercy of the delivery company and there is nothing that they can do except to give me a discount after the fridge is delivered.

Updated on 09/22/2024: I actually did go in to the store and asked about the "special" with a Home Depot door representative, but did not give my name. The salesperson had NO IDEA of any "in store" special....as I suspected. I then emailed the salesperson back that had emailed me regarding the "special". I asked him to let me know when the next "special" would be as I would like to order a replacement door for the discontinued storm door. That was 2 months ago. I have never heard from Home Depot again....
Original: I have had numerous negative situations arise with Home Depot while trying to do a few home improvement projects within a months time. First, I ordered and paid for a storm door. I also paid the $40 fee to have the door measured by Home Depot's installer. The installer did not mention any extra fees or that my door was a irregular size at any time. My door was a standard 32 x 80. Home Depot immediately wanted me to pay for the installation, and a extra $55 fee to fit the storm door to a standard door.
A common scam listed on the internet. However, I had already received a email that the door I had bought and paid for was no longer available. I continued to receive numerous calls and emails requesting I pay for the installation of the storm door that didn't exist. When I had not paid within 3 days I received another email stating the door I wanted was now on sale! Yeah right. I checked online and visited a Home Depot. The door was not on sale. I emailed the sales person explaining this. He then states it's a special "in store" promotion and I would have to speak directly to the person listed in the email. Come on!
I ordered 8 boxes of wall planks online and had them delivered. 2 of the boxes were the wrong planks. Home Depot now provides customer service via text, a complete and utter joke. I only wish I could include the message string of this idiotic conversation. I was asked how I would like to return the wrong boxes. I chose to have them picked up by UPS. Home Depot then emailed me labels which I immediately put on the 2 boxes and set them out for pick up. Not that easy.... UPS shows up and throws 2 labels on the ground next to the boxes and drives away. I contact the wonderful customer service text line again. I am then accused of not having the boxes out and ready for UPS and questioned as to why I was emailed labels and why UPS was dropping off labels. Isn't that a question Home Depot should answer themselves? Good grief! The boxes are still in my driveway.

Crew2 is the contractor for Home Depot and they caused a lot of unnecessary stress throughout our project. We signed a contract for a simple cabinet refacing project. The project took 11 months to complete from the time the contract was signed. The installer came in with the attitude of cutting corners wherever possible and no planning on the layout of the panels. As a result, we ended up with some panels with busy wood grain patterns next to other panels with no pattern. There were 2 end panels where veneer was used instead of the panels that came from the vendor (this was confirmed twice of which once was by Crew2's measure tech) and Crew2 would not take responsibility but, instead, told us that we need to accept differences in wood grain. After several attempts where we were told the panels would be reordered, there was always an excuse a couple days later of why the panels couldn't be reordered.
Finally, Home Depot Corporate became involved and when the panels were reordered, they came in the wrong stain color. At that time, we were told by the project manager that we had the choice of either a mismatch of veneer and wood or a mismatch of stain colors. When the installer came back to fix the issues of laying trim on top of base (which caused gaps), rough edges, screws sticking through which caused sharp areas, and base overhanging cabinets, another member of Crew2 came with him and, at that point it was finally determined that the panels would be reordered correctly. We had 7 members of Crew2, one member of the local Home Depot store, and the Home Depot Executive Escalations team involved to finish our project. This is completely unacceptable customer service. Crew2 has proven to be incompetent and unprofessional. In addition, Home Depot stands behind Crew2 instead of listening to the feedback from the customers.

Original Review: Hello my name is Kelli. I purchased appliances from Home Depot on 5/27/24. As of Last Saturday they finally came to pick up both appliances. I had problems from the very first delivery date. They never showed up nor did they ever call, delivery date number two no show again, delivery 3 deliver and appliance Stove was missing parts and stove was unable to use, refrigerator was also delivered incomplete set up. The water line was installed incorrectly. I called and had to wait again for 1 week when my new stove was delivered for my water line would be installed correctly. Well it goes on. Yes delivery never happened and Home depot couldn’t find where our stove was. Had to wait a few days. No response from supervisor or employee.
On delivery day to pick up appliances the driver calls. Says he’s 15 minutes away. I emptied my fridge. For the 3rd time. At this Everything was supposed to be picked up. 1 hour goes by NO delivery person shows up. My husband calls. No answer. They finally answered and told my husband it was canceled. I’m sorry he was suppose to deliver my stove and the order was canceled. My husband said, "You guys are suppose to pick up." He said no he wasn’t and hung up. At this point remember they took my original fridge on 6-11-24. I called and talked to many supervisor. They all were pointless, not helpful. They were just as bad as the entry level customer service reps were. Sad to say.
I’m diabetic and now have been without a fridge for 2 days and I don’t my old one to use temporarily while I order my new appliances. I also have not got my refund amount given back. They told me 3-5 business days. Wow I have to wait that long without a fridge and they don’t care. Never buy appliance from homedepot. I should have went with my gut and went to Best Buy. I went there first and Home Depot beat their price. This is an example don’t always go cheaper. This has been a NIGHTMARE.

We were told by the sales lady the order would be delivered June 22 and we would receive a call regarding the delivery time window on June 21st between 4pm and 9pm. When I didn't receive the call on the evening of Jun 21 regarding the delivery window, I called the Appliance Dept., that evening inquiring about my delivery. I was told the delivery couldn't be completed because the ice maker wouldn't be delivered until July 17 and had to be installed before shipping the refrigerator; Why did I have to make this call and why wasn't I told this at the time?
The sales person suggested I cancel the order and place two new orders, one for the refrigerator and one for the ice maker, thus I could receive the refrigerator earlier and have the ice maker installed at a later date; Why wasn't I told this upfront?? The new order ** was placed the next day Jun 22 and was scheduled for delivery Jun 26. We were told once again we would receive a phone call between the hours of 4pm-9pm with the delivery window times on Jun 25. Once again, when I didn't receive the delivery phone call, I called the Ukiah store that evening inquiring about the delivery and was told the refrigerator had been sold to another party and it would be rescheduled for delivery July 3 and I would receive a phone call the night before with the delivery window; Again, why did I have to make this call and why wasn't I told this at the time?
July 2, once again after not receiving a phone call regarding the delivery window for the July 3 delivery I called the Ukiah store late that evening and the Appliance Dept., salesperson told me the delivery window would be July 3 9am-1pm and the delivery person would call one hour prior to his arrival; For the third time, why did I have to make this call? July 3, 8am, I removed two doors and six pieces of heavy furniture to make room for the movement of the refrigerator's, old and new. When 1pm rolled around with no phone call from the delivery person, I called the Ukiah store and enquired about the lack of delivery: Why did I have to make this call!? After 20 minutes waiting on hold, I was told the delivery company forgot to put the refrigerator on the truck and the delivery would have to be rescheduled for the FOURTH time on July 6; THIS IS BEYOND ACCEPTABLE!!!!
We have been without a working refrigerator since June 19 trying to keep our food fresh using ice chests. We kept approximately 50lbs of frozen foods covered with ice in anticipation of a new refrigerator/freezer by June 22; as promised by HOME DEPOT! At 79 years old with bad knees and a bad back, I didn't find it too comforting to move several heavy pieces of heavy furniture and two doors to make way for a refrigerator that was not to come. As of this writing, we have lost 50lbs of frozen food estimated at a cost of $300 and spent an additional $100 for ice to maintain our ice chests for refrigerated foods as well.
We have suffered a lot of anguish and put up with a lot of turmoil because of your incompetent staff. Trying to connect with a person by phone is next to impossible. I have spent easily a half hour per call waiting for a person to answer. After communicating my issue with that person, I had been transferred to another who "could not help me with my issue" and was eventually pushed off to someone else. I asked if they could put pressure on the delivery company to have my refrigerator delivered this afternoon, even if it meant the threat by Home Depot to change to another delivery company. Of course that was out of the question and the only delivery that could be made was July 6.

Be very aware when accepting deliveries from Home Depot. I had a washing machine delivered June 2; I’m to do installation, so I asked the delivery crew to wheel it into the carport. I was curious why they were particular about turning it around after they got it into the space, but they were chatting away with me so I was distracted. I was curious too that they took photos from the back of the machine and hurried away without asking me to sign a confirmation of delivery. Later I realized, that they figured I’d do a walk around inspection of the machine before signing (I would have). Once they were gone, I found a forklift gouge on the side turned away from the light, and I found a dent in the front panel, which was also angled away from the light. I was tempted then to call HD and return the machine. But I chose to keep it figuring I was paying for being gullible enough to let them distract me long enough to get away.
What really pissed me off though is that when I checked the delivery tracking the next morning, there was a FORGED signature on the proof of delivery. The forgery was a step too far for me. So today I tried to contact Customer Service by phone, but I was encouraged to send a text, which I did, but was told they were not customer service but were “Online Chat” and I should call the “Customer Service” number. Which I did, but again I was prompted to text the information, then I saw it was looping me back into the same “chat” with the same assistant who snarkily deflected my original attempt.
It was clear I was stuck in a loop. So obviously “Customer Service” is very elusive or nonexistent at HD, and that is why the delivery guys knew they could get away with their distraction ploy and with the forged signature. Just saying, be aware that there is no accountability for this type of fraud at HD, so do a thorough inspection before the delivery crew slips away and forges your signature. Or better yet consider another source for appliances. I certainly will.

It runs but there is no heat. To make matters worse: the washer stopped working on 6/25/224. When I originally called about the dryer not working, I was offered a service repair for 11 days out. That was unacceptable for me. Since I said it was unacceptable and stood my ground, no matter what they said, I was deemed as "rude" by customer service. When it is unacceptable to me, them repeating themselves over and over does not change my mind. I stood my ground. I was hung up on. I was called rude.

It was supposed to be delivered across the doorway or threshold. I called Home Depot customer service to see if the delivery guys could come back and fix it, I was told they “submitted a ticket” and it was escalated to the highest level and not to call back for 24-48 hours, because there is nothing they can do until then. Huge problem with this is that they trapped my dad’s car in the driveway when they left it in the middle of it, and prevented some critical water work from being completed and now my elderly parents are without water or a car and there is nothing more customer service can do about it.
The supervisor at customer service was absolutely terrible!! He was rude and talked over me the entire time, cut me off, and kept saying we just have to wait. The supervisor was no help at all and kept saying he was the only one who could help, there was no one above him and no way for me to talk to a different supervisor who would listen. After spending close to two hours total on the phone between the two phone calls he told me to call around and get estimates for a moving company to come move the tool box, and that they would look at reimbursement, but it wasn’t a guarantee. Why is that not something Home Depot could do to fix this situation?? Now I have to pay for an Uber to take them to a hotel so they have somewhere with running water, and a moving company out of pocket on top of the $1,500 tool box! All because Home Depot didn’t deliver the massive tool box (over 600lbs) correctly like they promised.

The local store outsourced contractor recommendation to an outside contractor to do garner maximum profit in a way that distances them from responsibility for the results. Any sales must pay off the store, Home Depot Corporate, the recommending vendor, and the contractor. The actual cost of material and labor is dwarfed by the overhead of providing a profit to so many companies not involved in the work. No one in this string of businesses can be held responsible for the quality and overall high costs.
Also, the store in North Houston on northwest freeway inn 77037 has unpriced merchandise displays, disappearing employees with a non-functional paging system to call them back, and a store manager that doesn't have a clue what is going on in his store. Too busy cutting costs to get a bonus to care about customers.

I have bought plants in the Garden Center and happy with them; the only thing I would say is I wish they would have clearance plants instead of throwing them away. I would definitely buy them. The item was in stock, I made a cash purchase and told sales I didn't have the means to get the bench home and asked to set it aside, and I'd be back Friday afternoon or early Saturday to pick it up (Noted on the receipt).
I arrived early Saturday morning only to find out they had sold the bench I had purchased earlier. After days and hours on the phone, I was called and told that, because of my inconvenience, they would ship the work bench to my home and that the delivery would be between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. the next day. I was okay with that, so I scheduled a day off work to receive the shipment. I then got a phone call at 7:30 the night before the delivery and was told that they didn't have the work bench and they'd give me my money back. My complaint is: I feel Home Depot sold property that belonged to me, and they owe me for the item, and all of the time and lost wages spent trying to correct their mistake.

I have ordered via Home Depot online 2 major appliances (LG Washer and Dryer) on May 26, 2024 during the Memorial Day Savings event. These appliances were advertised to have an estimated delivery date on May 29, 2024, which was the major factor for me to decide to go with Home Depot, compared to Best Buy and Costco. As instructed, we were supposed to get a call/text 24 hours prior to the delivery date to confirm the delivery window timeframe. We have gotten a text on May 28, at 8:17 PM indicating that the delivery was being rescheduled and that the manufacturer will be contacting us within the next 48 hours. With very little information provided, I called Home Depot customer service minutes after we received the text. This was when my level of anger and frustration elevated.
First, I was transferred several times to the different agents before I got transferred to the Resolutions dept for escalation. Once I talked with the Resolutions dept (Sierra), she indicated that she couldn't check anything else including with the appliance manufacturer to confirm if they could deliver on the May 29th delivery because all the business were all closed. That made sense and therefore, she said that she would just reschedule the delivery date to May 30th and promised a markdown once we receive the appliances. She said that she would monitor this issue and worked on this the next day (May 29th).
Early morning of May 29th, I received an email indicating that the delivery was updated and now rescheduled to Jun 5th (7-8 days from the initial delivery date!!). At this point, I am stuck with a delayed delivery date. In a nutshell, Home Depot does not stand to their commitment. They overpromised but under delivered. I would have been better off going to Costco or Best Buy with their resolute delivery on time commitment, had I not been lured to the lower price (but not significantly far from each other) and earlier delivery date.

Today, I recently had an unsettling experience with Home Depot Credit Services that I feel compelled to share. Despite diligently making payments throughout the past year, I was shocked to discover that these payments had yet to be allocated towards my promotional items. Here's a breakdown of my grievances: After my review and phone call with Credit Services Management, here is what I gathered, and in my opinion, is the prioritization of the bottom line deception to consumers.
Payment Allocation: According to management personnel, all payments are directed towards higher-interest items first. This means that even though I made regular payments, none of it went towards my promotional items from what was reviewed. Manual Allocation Requirement: Adding insult to injury, I learned from this management person that customers must manually specify where their payments should go during each billing cycle. This lack of automatic allocation is burdensome and easily overlooked. Logging into the portal, I saw no visible option to make such a selection.
Expired Promotional Items: As a result of this payment allocation system, my promotional items are expiring in 3 days without being paid off. Despite my frustration, Home Depot Credit Services refused to extend the expiration dates, suggesting that I have to wait until the promotion expires, which is a ploy to capitalize on higher fees in my opinion.
False Promises: Management suggested I could call in after expiration to " see if they can potentially extend the promotional period". However, this backtracks on their initial stance only adds to the confusion and frustration. Fine Print Confusion: While management argued that this information was clearly stated in the fine print of the application, it's unreasonable to expect customers to remember such details months later. This lack of openness only serves to benefit the company at the cost of its customers.
Final Decision: Feeling deceived and manipulated, I promptly closed my account. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and disillusioned with Home Depot Credit Services. To me, their practices prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. In conclusion, Home Depot is effectively exploiting customers' lack of awareness and comprehension of its policies through its credit services. This deceitful approach erodes trust and tarnishes the company's reputation. I think about all the older people to whom sales representatives sell these promotions. I urge others to exercise caution when engaging with their credit services, as they prioritize their bottom line at the expense of customer trust and satisfaction.
Signed, one disappointed human!

I think it's ridiculous, as a customer service perspective, to not allow people to order online, that have store credits. As the employee said today, we can't keep everything in the store. EXACTLY, I understand that because most of my store credit is for a sink I bought for a remodel, that I couldn't wait for because you didn't have it in stock. I was looking for a small part today to repair my lawn mower, you would think that they would keep more items in the stores that they could have a bigger markup on. Instead of having 400 different riding lawn mowers, that they don't make that much percentage of profit off of, compared to the everyday items. You have to scan the back of my driver's license at the store when I use my store credit, why can't you make that an option, if I NEED, something that's only available online.

Self checkouts are a violation of multiple federal laws. Forced labor without payment of the minimum wage is illegal on the federal level. Forcing people under the legal working age to be a cashier for Home Depot is also federally illegal. Anyone accused of stealing from self checkout is innocent because, 1) they are not a trained cashier. 2) mistakes happen for untrained cashiers, 3) forced unpaid slave labor is federally illegal. If there are any attorneys interested in an easy winnable class action please contact me so this madness can end before home Depot forces people to stock its shelves for free.

No tracking so you don’t know where product is or when it will arrive. Call in Center staff set up to put customers off for days. After ordering a product for delivery that was listed as next day delivery- it had a countdown on the product page (Order in the next 6 hours and 23 minutes for next day delivery…) I received an email the next day that unfortunately the order is delayed. It will “typically be delivered in 5 days”. This was for a product needed urgently hence the next day delivery. I ran to the store and picked one up but cannot cancel the online order. There is no ETA, the product has not shipped. Order status says “processing” and according to customer nonservice, after 45 minutes the order cannot be cancelled. The options they provided are: refuse delivery (not an option as I won’t be home), return the item to a store after it arrives (now I have to haul the item back to the store? at an unknown ETA?), or ship the item back.
I have reached out to customer service repeatedly for cancellation and been told the same “45 minute” story every time. This feels much like a bait and switch with delivery after purchase and the refusal to cancel is inexplicable. The 45 minutes is completely arbitrary. There is no ETA and the item isn’t in transit because they haven’t even shipped it. Home Depot has created extra work for the consumer that is beyond frustrating. It makes me wonder how many people buy a product because of the “delivery date” only to be told it is delayed on delivery day. This has happened multiple times and it seems like a deceptive business practice. If they cannot fulfill the order by the delivery listed on the product page then they are knowingly misleading people.

His attitude was not just unhelpful but made me feel judged and unwelcome.
I cannot recommend this place to anyone seeking tool rental services due to the poor customer service I experienced. It’s crucial that a store fosters a welcoming environment for all customers, providing assistance and expertise rather than judgment and disdain. I went over all of the doors and let him do his job. When finished he said Home Depot would be in contact. I came into your store on April, 3, 2024 ready to order doors. I worked with Sarah ** and found out that you could not install doors next to the siding in the back of the home, Tyler never mentioned this before leaving my home when he was there. I was kinda upset that Tyler failed to mention this to me when he was here. I ordered and paid for a door and installation before departing Home Depot on April 3, 2024. I was pleased how Sarah helped me in the process.
Also, Sarah and I discussed that I would have someone other than Tyler come to my home, she affirmed that there were other installers that could do the installation. I received a call this morning from Ryan ** asking how he could help me! Unfortunately I was very uninterested in going through the whole process again with an assistant manager that wanted to save the day and be a hero in front of other employees while I was on the phone. He needs to lose his title and not go making problems for others after they have been resolved. I am a business owner and I have wasted more time on this process than necessary.
Purchasing four doors and installation should not be this big of an issue. I feel that Home Depot needs to address the issues internally instead of bringing a customer into business issues. The only thing that Ryan accomplished this morning was upsetting a customer, cancelling a sale, a bad experience with Home Depot, and a negative review on the web. I have a simple resolution for all of this: Cancel my order, refund my credit card and I will do business elsewhere. I have also contacted my credit card to dispute the charges since Ryan hung up on me and would not let me finish my conversation.

Let's face it, tackling a home improvement project is stressful enough. You shouldn't have to dodge a customer service landmine on top of it all. But that's exactly what a trip to Home Depot can feel like. First, brace yourself for the ghost town effect. You'll wander aisles filled with question marks (because employees are mysteriously absent) searching for that specific screw or widget. And when you do find a rare employee, prepare for an unhelpful shrug or a mumbled direction that leads you on a wild goose chase through the labyrinthine store.
If you manage to snag the right product (fingers crossed!), just pray it's not damaged. Reviews are littered with tales of dented appliances, scratched flooring, and lumber that looks like it went a few rounds with Mike Tyson. Apparently, quality control is as rare as a knowledgeable associate at Home Depot. But wait, there's more! The checkout line might be the biggest test of your DIY spirit. Be prepared to strategize your escape route like you're planning a daring heist. Those lines can stretch longer than a roll of unspooled insulation, and the cashiers move slower than paint drying in Siberia.
Here's the kicker: even if you navigate this DIY gauntlet, you might still end up empty-handed. Multiple reviewers mentioned incorrect online inventory, leaving them frustrated after a wasted trip. Look, Home Depot, you can stock your shelves with all the hammers and drills in the world, but that won't build a loyal customer base. You need to seriously invest in staff training, quality control, and a streamlined shopping experience. Because right now, your customers are feeling more lost than a two-headed nail in a haystack.

In the summer of 2023 we purchased a GE washer/Dryer combo model #GUV27EE when the dryer of our 7 year old GE W/D combo caught fire. (thank goodness we had a fire extinguisher nearby!) The appliance sales person at the Loganville store is wonderful. We have lived in Loganville 30 years and purchased many large appliances with her help before. Without compromising her job position, I think she tried to warn us, but because we have a small laundry room, we liked the w/d combination size, and purchased it and had Home Depot install it. Within a couple weeks we knew we hated it. It is supposed to be energy saving but the water levels are so low, with no way to adjust them, that all our dark clothes were stained by the soap- even though we used the recommended soap type and amount, so we had to wash everything twice- and still couldn't get the white soap stain out.
We went to the store to complain but we were told that in spite of what we read, Home depot does not have a return policy. After going back and forth with GE (with the help of the HD sales rep) we finally gave up, and we can only use the WD on 1 cycle "bulk load". BUT what is worse is that a couple months after purchase, the hose came unhooked because of faulty installation and flooded 2 rooms and lots of items on our first level!

We originally purchased a RYOBI electric lawnmower (40V) in 2021. After about a year, the lawnmower stopped working so we took it back to Home Depot, which is where it was purchased. They took the lawnmower and after approximately three months, we were provided with a replacement. The replacement worked well for another year or so and we were pleased with its performance, but a few months back it stopped working and would not start (batteries were fine, so the problem was with the mower).
We took it back to Home Depot and they indicated they no longer took Ryobi returns, even though they continued to sell the mower. RYOBI indicates that the only way to have the mower serviced/repaired was to either go to the Home Depot in Portland, OR (approximately 250 miles away) or in Victoria, Canada (which is close but requires a ferry ride that is quite expensive). Tried to call customer service, but was placed on hold for over an hour on two occasions, so this was not a good option.
Needless to say, we are disappointed in both the lawnmower(s) and Home Depot. A lawnmower should not simply stop working after a year, particularly given the price. The customer service from RYOBI was slow in the first instance and nonexistent in the second. We will not be buying more RYOBI products and will avoid Home Depot when we can.

I recently purchased a new home in a small town. Because our shopping options are limited I decided to shop on the HD website for items to furnish my new home. It seemed easy enough to be able to return to our local store if an item didn't work out. In three months I spent about $3,700 and ended up returning about $700. Of that $700, $300 worth of merchandise was returned due to Home Depot either sending the wrong items or me not receiving the item at all. My issue started when I called to inquire about an order that I never received. When I called HD, I was told that he would send me an email with a different number to call. When I called that number, I was told that my "return" was denied due to my high number of returns. I told them I was just trying to get my money back on a purchase I never received. They still held firm on calling it a "return".
I was told they would email me my returns report and that I could dispute it through an email and that it would take 2-4 weeks to get a response. I just sent that email off so I will wait to see what their response will be. For some reason I have a feeling they will not give my money back. Also, it would have been nice for them to let me know that they will flag you for your returns. The bottom line is it shouldn't be this difficult for them to correct their error. I consider this to be horrible customer service. I expected more from home depot.

I will never go back to Home Depot unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! Home Depot just lost my company and I as customers.

Here’s a list of the multiple glitches (numbered below) that I encountered in my recent experience with Home Depot:
1. I ordered a grill for assembled pickup, but (1) Was never informed when it was ready.
2. (2) There was no record or status of the order on their website when I typed-in the order #.
3. I picked it up, got it home, and discovered (3) No power cord, (4) No assembly tools that I might need later - to tighten anything loose, etc, (5) Scratches indicating it was a floor model, and (6) No user manuals.
4. I called, willing to drive 10 miles again to pick up the missing items, and (7) It took about an hour to resolve.
I’m not a difficult person, evident in that I paid for an out-of-its-box item at the new-in-box price, was willing to keep it, and even drive back to pick up the missing items. Trusting Home Depot with this $2,000+ purchase should have gone much smoother. I’m very conflicted about what happened, and wonder if individual customers get treated differently from their professional customers.

I purchased a snowblower Yardmax 22deck with last bit of money. Just had twins. Couldn't shovel because of the c-section. I purchased it in October however we don't get snow until Dec/Jan. First year I experience problems. It wouldn't stay on while pushing the snow. Called to get help. They wouldn't return it even though it was brand new. They wouldn't help at all took it in to Home Depot. By the time they were able to see me. No snow. They said works fine. I said until you need to push snow. So next year same thing.
I just started to shovel the snow each year after the first and second until now shovel broke. Went to use the snowblower again. Don't work. Called corporate. They still no help. Every year I called from the first year. I have never received any help. Paid over 500$ for the machine. Never never got to use it. Never received any help from the store yardmax or corporate. Just a waste of time and my money. I will never buy anything from them ever again. Experience horrible. First snowblower ever and the worst ever. Can get out the driveway because I have no shovel or snowblower. Smh waste.

1. Like many other retailers, Home Depot Profits are way up due to price increases. 2. I just went to do a return brand new noise blocking ear muffs. I paid about $16.00 for them. Without a receipt, but in the original box, HD wanted to give me $4.00 on the return. This is like Lowe’s return policy, designed to put the screw to the customers. 3. I can Never find help in HD stores. 4. I’d like HD staff to give me the option to get an e mail receipt, instead of the clerk instantly pressing the “NO” option and eliminating my choice. 5. Did you know that corrupt retailers give you two days to return an appliance? So there is no option except to buy a high priced extended warranty? 6. How many BILLIONS DID HD make in profits for the past few years, and increases in profits, At the consumers expense, to make the rich richer?

I served in the Army for over 20 and have shopped at Home Depot for longer than that and have spent thousands of dollars there and have been receiving a 10% discount for my service. All I had to do was show my ID card and go on my way. I recently went there and purchased a $100 item and as usual, I asked for the military discount. They told me that I had to register as a veteran with my IPhone using their app (whatever that is). I'm 78 years old and have zero knowledge about computers and IPhones. I asked, Let's make sure that I understand, "I have a $100 item and will get a $10 military discount, but in order to get my discount, I have to buy a $800 phone"? Clerk, "Yes sir".
As I said, I'm 78 years old and studied the old math, so excuse my ignorance. Is this the new math that everyone is talking about? I have to spent $800 to get a $10 discount? Does this make sense to anyone? I left the $100 item at the register and went to Lowe's where all I have to do is give my home rotary phone number to get my discount. Using my old math, I just saved $790. Bye Home Depot!

I tried to return some extra shingles I bought at Home Depot in Middletown NY. The cashier, Deborah, did her best, but unable to complete the process. I requested to speak with the manager. According to the cashier the manager was named Carlos, but Ryan showed up. Ryan with a very negative attitude without trying to look into the issue just stated "there is nothing we can do." Rejected the returned. He had very poor social skills; appeared angry and refused to make eye contact. Common characteristics of short man syndrome. Not sure how this person is considered to be a manager. The manager is supposed to look into the situation and try to find a solution, at least try or pretend to do so. But this person just refused to work with the customer. I just decided to leave the shingles at the store and told him to take it as a Christmas donation. I never thought I would be donating 60 dollars to home depot.

They need to get staff who can answer the phone. I was on hold for over an hour before I gave up. I tried calling 4 times in a row. I tried every department. This was the San Mateo Store. Very frustrating.
