    We contacted ClearPath Lending and started talking to a loan officer then we redid our loan. We got a regular home loan and the process was simple and made easy. The application and underwriting took a couple of weeks. The loan consultants were really good and nice. They were also easy to talk to and answered every question. When we needed them, we could contact them. Then I liked that they took $20,000 off of our interest. They also lowered our house payment and refunded us some of our escrow back from the other loan. Everything worked out well with them and I was really happy with the way things have gone. It was great working with ClearPath and having saved $20,000 on interest makes one think the other companies were just trying to rip us. So if a friend would ask about ClearPath, I’d tell them to get them quick.

    We had dealt with ClearPath before and and they've always treated us well. We were looking to refinance and obtained a VA loan, and it went very smooth. The application was absolutely simple, easily done online and through emails. Every time we spoke, the rep was nice and helpful. Any questions I had, he answered them right away. There were a few concerns that we called them on, and they took care of them right away or within a few hours. If it was after business hours, we could reach them by email and we usually had an answer the next business day. Working with them made the loan application very easy.     We took a VA loan from ClearPath Lending and they had given us a lower rate. The application process was easy and together with the underwriting process, took about two weeks to finish. My loan officer was good. He explained to me everything that I had a lot of concern about. He told me all kinds of stuff about the refi and about the three months that we didn't have to pay. And that if we were not confident about the company, we could do research. He also told us that there was nothing to worry about and to just relax. The entire experience was good. It was not hard as we did the first time we had the house. And, a lady came for the closing. We didn’t have to go to a place where we have to drive to sign the closing. We'll start with our payment next month but so far, everything’s good.

    ClearPath said what they were gonna do and they followed up every time they said they were gonna follow up. They got my rate lowered and got some payments knocked off. They had lowered my mortgage terms by nine months. They have a customer loyalty program and it's gonna be around for a long time. As long as I'm doing my part, if they have a different rate come up, they'll come back and redo it again. So, it is a really good and very well presented program. Their rep was super friendly, caring, and very professional and courteous. He was very explanatory in their program, too. My loan officer was superb. She was upbeat and very knowledgeable. She wasn't difficult to get a hold of at all. If I sent a text or call, she was right on it. As a matter of fact, the longer we talk, the more I became a friend instead of just a client. She handled everything just like she's handling her own business.

    ClearPath's application process went as smooth as it could possibly go, and it didn't take any longer than doing a regular application like I did my first one. There were no surprises. Everything was done in such professional manner. I'd recommend ClearPath highly. I've never been treated as well as that by anybody as far as any kind of finance process.     We got a letter in the mail from ClearPath Lending for a refinance for the mortgage that we had. It was the first letter we got in the mail, and so I called them to see what they had to offer. We refinanced our original mortgage with Pacific Union through them and so we ended up streamlining our FHA loan. The application process was super easy and it was better than our experience when we tried to buy the house for the first time. However, it took a bit longer than the average turnaround time because we waited for a week and a half to hear back from the underwriters. That was the only thing that held the process up. But Bill, our main contact, stayed on top of everything. He called me every couple of days to tell me where we were at and what we were waiting for.

    I got a letter in the mail about a refinancing offer, on VA stuff, and I was curious when I got the letter. I had just financed and I was about six or seven months into my loan. So, I called ClearPath to find out what the letter was about. I didn’t really understand what it was saying because it was talking about some benefits and things that I would lose and I wanted to make sure some new thing hadn't happened. It was my first VA loan, so I wasn’t up on all the different things. About the time I signed my loan, the rate started to climb up. I was talking to them and I told them I was not interested in signing and I was not gonna get a lower rate than I have. The rep told me he would look at it and he said he would go as far as a half a percent lower if he could find it. I told him if he could get me a half a percent, then we would talk. There wasn’t a real serious thing about it in the beginning but when he got the half-percent knocked off, we got down to business.

    It all went terrific with the application process. I had a man named Jim and he was just outstanding. He was upfront and right on top of everything. Before it happened, he let me know what was going on. It was a really good experience. That’s the seventh or eighth house I’ve purchased and I refinanced a few times several of them but this definitely was way, way better than anything I’ve even come close to before. ClearPath has a good team.

    The interest rate was too high with my previous company. So, I was trying my best to search and look for the affordable interest rate. Finally, I found ClearPath and they're awesome. The guy who called me was pretty good with me but I misunderstood something and later on, I figured out that it was not his fault but it was my fault. Other than that, the application went very smoothly and I couldn't believe the way it went so fast. It took three weeks to complete and I am satisfied with the rates and terms that I got. The guy told me that after a few months, I have to pay on the 13th month, so when they checked, it was the lower interest rate that they are still going to offer me.     After a few months of owning my first home, I received a letter with the name of my mortgage company in the window. The letter stated that I had missed a deadline for something and needed to call immediately. I called my mortgage company account manager directly (because my company is actually a good one) instead of the number in the letter. He laughed and said it was a scam to get me to refinance or sell equity. I have gotten the same letter once or twice a week for months! I've sent the letters back stating that I want to be removed from list, called, and emailed. And the letters keep coming.

    I like how ClearPath Lending treats the veterans. If I met them first, I would have done my loan with them from the beginning. The experience that I had with ClearPath Lending was 99.9% a whole lot better than what I dealt with and their people were friendly. They treated me like I was part of the family which made it easy to trust them. It didn’t feel like they were out to get you or you were being forced into anything. I had some problem in my past loan and she got it worked out for me. She was professional and she took me from A to Z. I'm very unhappy though that mortgage companies sell my mortgage to someone else and they purchase that mortgage company. My mortgage was sold once. ClearPath Lending bought it, then they sold it to another company. I didn’t like that part. I need to find a mortgage company that’s not willing to sell me out every year.     I've been dealing with ClearPath Lending for a couple of years now. This is my fourth loan through ClearPath. I'm in a loyalty program. Their loan application process was easy. They usually call me back if there's any problem. They were also able to answer all of my questions. But when you transition over to the next loan company, you have to make sure that everything is paid beforehand. What happened was I skipped two payments, and then they sent me letters that I had missed the payment and that they put me through the credit bureau. That was kinda shaky for me. My credit is excellent so I don't wanna mess it up. But then, the check caught up to the time, so they didn't ding me for it.

    We had been getting letters in the mail from ClearPath Lending for quite a while. But I kept throwing them away because I thought we had just bought the home and there was no way we could do anything. But one day, my husband said we should give these people a call and see what they've got to say. And I'm so glad he urged me to do that. I can't say how happy we are. Number one, they offered us a lower interest rate. Number two, they've lowered our monthly mortgage payment. They were the nicest people we've ever dealt with too. Lily was our rep and she deserves a gold star. She was phenomenal.

    Everything was simple. We did everything by computer but I'm old and I'm a computer illiterate. I would get stuck on doing something and I'd call Lily and say I can't do this. But she told me to calm down, identified what I was doing wrong and got it right through. She was with me every step of the way and she didn't make me feel like I was an idiot. It also seemed like she never left me with any unanswered questions. She was in contact with me constantly, letting me know what they were doing and what we've got to do. Everything was done so quickly too. It took 14 days at the most. We've been through the gamut and this was the quicker process than whatever we had gone through, even when we bought the home. I'm not saying they were bad because they weren't. But Lily just seemed to go boom, boom, boom and next thing I knew, we were done. It was just amazing!

    My interest rate is high on my house and I was looking into lowering it. ClearPath didn’t lower it too much like I thought they would, but the market didn’t go up, so it’s lower than when I had it. They lowered $11 on my payment, but $11 in the long run is a lot. The guy that I worked with was right on top of things. I asked him some questions here and there, and if he didn’t have the answer, his manager did. The application process was also really good.     This is the second loan I’ve done through ClearPath in the last two years. The original one was convoluted. There was a lot of documents and a lot of explanations for this and that. On the other hand, the more recent one went so quickly. This time, I think they had the process down. It was awesome and smooth. They walked me through the process and explained to me what they needed. If a form needed to be filled out, they had it electronically.

    There was a couple of glitches here and there, mainly because my hours are so weird. But once we got the communications down, everything was great. If I had a question, they answered it either via email, text message or by phone. If I called and left a message, they would call me right back. They were great to work with and I really enjoyed it. Plus, when I was talking to the original Bill, I felt comfortable. People should check ClearPath Lending out because they have good personnel and they seem to care.

    One of the advisers of ClearPath was helpful and everything went well. When I spoke to ClearPath, the guy gave me the options to lower the monthly payment, and lower the term on years. So that was the reason I said okay. The application process was super easy. It was two months in general because I didn’t process the 210 days. So we start the paperwork. It was the FHA and I have to keep that loan for seven months. After the seven months passed by, they called me back and said, “Okay, we can start doing the second phase.” Even when they changed from one officer to another one, they sent me emails.     When I first refinanced this house, I should've gone with a locked-in rate when I went to streamline. Streamline didn’t do me any good like I thought it would so I had to refinance again.     I got a letter in the mail about ClearPath Lending and I called in about it. I wanted a a lower monthly payment and they had an adjustable rate, so I signed up with them. Then I called in again for the second time to get on to a fixed rate because they told me that I would become a loyalty customer and whatever fee I paid the first time, I wouldn't have to pay again. Their application process was easy and most of it was through my phone. The digital signatures was pretty good and convenient, too. The title person that came out signed all the paperwork and was flexible with my hours. He came at 7 o'clock at night and things worked out.

    While everything was going on, the rep I worked with was in Hawaii and they had tropical storms going on. But even with that, he was still in contact with me a lot and getting back to me. I don’t like having to chase people for information and the entire time, he was calling me and getting me the information that I would have asked him for. He stayed a step ahead of me the whole time and he was awesome. I have friends who are looking to do a mortgage, too, and I would pass ClearPath ahead to them.     ClearPath had lower interest rates compared to other lenders, so I went with ClearPath and got a VA loan. The application process was a good experience. Joe, the loan officer was very considerate and mannerable. He stayed in touch with me and let me know how things were going. For my birthday, on the paperwork that he sent here, he sent a big, nice sheet in the front that said, "Happy birthday" and had a nice bible verse on there. I thought that was really good..

    I found out, however, that ClearPath's interest rate wasn't the lower one. It was the ARM and the rate was good for only a year, after which it would go back up. When another guy called me and was telling me about it, I didn't even know that I had an ARM that's adjustable. I didn't realize that because I didn't know anything about the ARM, and I wasn't told that that was gonna happen. That kinda made me mad and I really wanted to call Joe but I didn't have the number then. Still, he was a very perfect gentleman.

    I just feel that when you're in a customer service business, the customer is first, and you should tell them everything. Joe should've told me all that was going to happen and that after my time was up, the interest rate could go up. Then I wouldn't have been able to even stay in my house. I just got the rate changed and I'll start my first payment on December. That gave me a lower interest rate where I was happy with what I had. But now, I'm back up like a $100 and some, so I have to make changes again.

    ClearPath sent me a letter talking about refi. I also read the reviews online and I was amazed by the reviews that they got. Another thing is, I engaged five different companies and for some reason, I was drawn to Greg, the guy that took care of all of my needs at ClearPath. He was honest, always there if I had any questions, and followed up in a timely manner. He always made himself available whereas with the other companies, I never got that. So I decide to go with ClearPath and their enrollment process was smooth. Greg took down my information and gave me five different options of which way we could go. He explained all five options thoroughly and never pressured me. He said that it was totally up to me and that whatever questions I had, he would find an answer for me if he didn't know it himself. But he knew the answers.

    The team that he worked with were professional and courteous as well. A gentleman by the name of Mario followed up with me about every other day and Greg checked in with me every day. Then once we got the process rolling, it became a weekly check in both by phone call and email, so they made me really comfortable.

    In this day and age, there are scams out there all the time but I never got that feel with ClearPath. Greg talked about what they do and who they work with. He also talked about their loyalty program and things of that nature, and said that they would always be there for my needs. He even followed up with me after the loan closed and told me that if I had any questions, he'll always be there. He also said he'll follow up with me once a quarter if the rates change and he'll definitely call me to let me know what my options are, if we should move forward or we'll just stand back.     Applying for a loan with ClearPath Lending, in the beginning, was smooth, then it got a bit rocky but then it smoothed back out. Initially, they told me it was gonna be a certain down payment and for the closing cost, it was gonna be a certain amount. Then, it went back up, then down and back up. They couldn’t figure out the actual number. I was almost about to cancel because the cost kept going up but in the end, they got it to where they said it was gonna be and we ended up saying okay. The process was a little bit difficult too. I started off with one person, then it went to a lady, then it went to another guy which was confusing because I didn’t know who I was gonna get stuck to be talking. They just kept switching people.     I had already turned in the paperwork with the company I was with before and they were still charging me taxes so I said, "I'm a 100% disabled veteran, I shouldn't be paying taxes. What do you not understand about all my paperwork that you've seen?" They said they would take care of it but nothing was done. But ClearPath took care of it right away. The lender that I had told me that they were gonna go up on my percentage, and he said that with ClearPath, it was gonna be on a fixed rate.

    The rep who helped me was great. Until this day he would just call me. He kept me up to date pretty much with everything.     I feel I got ripped off. I refinanced my VA Loan for the 3rd time with this co. Bill ** was the agent and it took over 6 months even though this was my 3rd refi with Bill. He was supposed lock me in at 3.25%, but I ended up getting 4.00%. I originally wanted a 2.25% ARM, but he said we could get that after 6 months of closing the 30 fixed. He obviously was trying to get more money (business)! ** was laid off by Clearpath. The last two closings, ** happened to be out of the country (on vacation) each time we were closing! So I couldn't complain about the loan! I should have known he was not legitimate when I did my 1st refi when I asked him his age and he hesitated and finally said "around 24".

    ClearPath had a loan with the VA where you can get a reduced amount. The application process was easy. I just talked to Mark and he did most of the work. I just had to send papers to him all the time. He was really good about it, and he was upfront. The lending process took a long time because they had a low interest loan through the VA, and it was set up in such a way where it’d just be for a year and then it’d change the interest rate, but the VA cut it off.     ClearPath Lending’s customer service was really good and it was a lot of straightforward information and there were no surprises. After we started the conversation, We felt comfortable with what we were being told and everything that we received. All the documentation that came through were clearly explained to me and I could always reach out to the rep if I had any questions. And as we went through each step, I received a status report on where we were at. And we were able to go through the documents that came out and needed our signature. Also, I was alerted to anything that needed my attention that pertained to me, and the documents were clear.

    The reps that I dealt with were very professional, courteous and able to answer all of my questions, and the times that they couldn’t, they made sure they let me know and they got back with me in a timely manner.     I was looking for a better interest rate somebody could offer me. Then I found that ClearPath Lending was somewhere lower than what I had. I called them and talked to a guy named Mark and I liked him immediately. He was so informative. He made me feel relaxed and calm talking to him. Some salesperson get on the phone and just wanna sell something. With Mark of ClearPath, I didn’t get that impression at all.

    Also, he always called me right when he said he was gonna do it. I didn’t need to call him a lot. But there was a time when I had to go sign all those papers with the lady that notarized everything, I couldn't get hold of him. But it didn’t seem like it was a huge issue to get ahold of him. After I got into where they knew I was gonna get my loan approved, I had received less calls from him. And now, I don’t get any calls from him. I asked ClearPath about Mark and they said he was probably helping out another customer. But the time that he was working with me, he was awesome.

    The application process was long and definitely thorough. But the lady that did it with me was on top of what she had to make sure everything was fine. However, she couldn't answer the questions I had. She could to a point, but not like if she was actually one of the representatives from the loan. But in general, ClearPath was easy to talk to, always accessible and made sure everything was okay with my loan. So, I thought that was pretty neat. I've recommended them a couple of times at work now. I told others that if they’re interested in getting a loan or finding one that has a comparable interest rate, they should look up at ClearPath Lending.     ClearPath Lending sent me something in the mail and I decided to go with them. The application process was okay. We did most of the things online and then their rep faxed a whole lot of stuff and I got some things in the mail. Their reps were nice, but they told me one thing and then it was something else and misled me. They lied to me twice. They told me I could skip two months payment and then I could start making my payments back. I skipped one month and then the new people said that they needed the payment, so I went on to send it. And as soon as I signed up, they didn’t tell me that they were going to switch me to another company, HomeBridge, which they did. I thought I was going to be with ClearPath and they just kept me in the dark. It was a bad experience.

So, they were a bit more reputable than the other lending companies that I hadn't heard of. I did a conventional loan program and the application process was easy. They explained it to me and the loan officer that I talked to did everything for me. When I was out of the office and needed stuff to be emailed, he emailed it for me to different people.     ClearPath Lending should have said that they would do the paperwork to get me approved and then they would sell the loan or find somebody to finance it. They don't actually lend anybody anything. When I refinanced the house, Ocwen called me as a collection agency. They came, collected the money, and they set up the direct deposit. They have no stake in the game other than to collect that payment every month.

    ClearPath set people up with people who will finance or refinance the house. The people in the finance department called to tell me that I had to pay $200,000 worth of insurance on the loan which was ridiculous. They mailed something to me nine times telling me to pay the insurance. So, I got in a long conversation with them and, of course, people on the computers are just idiots. They have a screen, they respond, and their responses are totally useless. That was a real shocker because these people that I talked to who are financing the loan have nothing to do with ClearPath.

    So, I finally got ahold of a finance manager and she just went on and on about how my $498 payment wasn't enough. It had to be like $506 or $510 or something like that because I had to pay insurance on the loan. And I told her that I went through ClearPath Lending. I got a 30-year fixed-rate loan. I got the interest, principal and taxes on the paperwork. She told me that I would need to call ClearPath Lending then because they needed me to pay the insurance on the loan to change my payment. And I said to her that that was interesting. I asked if they could do this every year and increase my payment. I refinanced to get out of and ARM and the first thing I get is somebody calling me saying that they were gonna make me pay a little more.

    As for the processing side, ClearPath was awesome. They made everything quick, smooth and understandable. The lady they sent went over everything very carefully. It was excellent. They rock. I really don't care about the whole financing mess because once I make the payment which I already have and I've set up a direct deposit, I ain't gotta worry about it for 30 years. So, dealing with these people for a few minutes, I could care less.

    ClearPath Lending has done all our refinances. Their interest rate for the VA loan finally dropped down to 3.25, so we looked into getting another refi with them. We did that to reduce our loan rate as low as it would go. The application process was the same as it has always been and it was easy. Our interactions with the loan officer, Wesley, and the other reps were great. They called right away and I didn't have to wait for anything, and they answered every time I called. The whole process, from beginning to end, took a month and a half. With all the different processes that they had to go through, such as for the background stuff and the accounting, that time frame was good.     ClearPath Lending offered a way lower interest rate and still save me $100 a month. I got from them a refinance for a VA loan with a three-year term at 2.5 interest rate. The application process was great and everything was smooth. The loan officer, Sean, was outstanding. He got me what I needed the same day. He would get something to me, then I would do a lot of electronic signing on my phone and that was easy for me because I move a lot, and then I would fill up the paperwork and send it back to him. Everything was on the spot and it was really good, and I never missed any paperwork.

    It took a few months to get everything finalized because I had to make a few more payments with previous lenders. But as that was my first refinance on my first mortgage, it was definitely the best experience I had.     We were trying to lower our interest rate, consolidate some things and pay off some debts. We received a letter in the mail from ClearPath Lending and I called to see if the letter was true and what options were actually out there. After talking to them that one time, I was ready to make the decision on telling my husband about refinancing based on what the person gave us and others should definitely give them a try too.

    The representative was really good with talking with us. He walked us through everything, step by step. We hardly had to call him too. He always called us. The application process for the refinancing was easy and using the loan officer was a great experience. But there was a lack of communication when it came to the actual person who was closing the loan. I talked to her one time but when I would leave her messages, I couldn’t get in touch with her. She was in the dark and she barely returned our calls. That portion needs a little uplift from what it is. But the guy who we originally worked with would always answer our calls. Even when he was done with his part, he still was the go-to person. He still took care of us. He was awesome.

    We had purchased a house and I was not happy with the loan servicing company called LoanCare that Nova Home Loans had sent to me. LoanCare doesn’t have an accelerated equity program nor would they put one in. So I went down looking for another provider. A little postcard-sized mailing about ClearPath Lending came and it promised a lower interest rate. I thought maybe they could help and they did. It was an exaggerated claim but they did produce a somewhat lower interest rate. So I called them up and started a conversation.

    Jim was so much on top and so supportive completely all the way. I would recommend him to anybody. At every stage, he produced his papers and showed us the result. He would tell us how far it had gone on in the process and when it would be due. They also have the ClearPath relationship person and they said that after a while, they would watch and if a rate goes down, they would let us know. They also said that after the six payments, we could talk about other possibilities if it would save us money. They made my brand new 30-year mortgage, 28 right off the bat. So that was cool. I got a slightly lower rate and it was so doable, workable, and almost effortless. So we were very pleased.

    The person in charge of a case goes the extra mile and answers at all times of the day. They’re readily available to you for your questions and support. The communication was clear and the turnaround for that was really fast. I would happily go to ClearPath forever, as long as they’re like this. But there are other companies with our information that created a very misleading, repetitive and irritating barrage of postcards that has got ClearPath's name on it.

    The first company I had switched me to someone else then I started getting a bill from them. I had no idea they were my mortgage company. So I searched ClearPath Lending online and I began talking to them. They helped me out with the VA part of it a lot better than the first company did and they got me a better rate. And with ClearPath, it took less time than it did with the first company. The first company took me almost a month and ClearPath only took me maybe 10 days or so to get it all together and going.     I liked the interest rate that ClearPath Lending was offering which was called the Hybrid and I did three years with them. I had the option of going fixed at 3.5% and they were able to get it down to 2.5. Their application process was fairly easy and I didn’t have to do anything except acquire some documents which were pretty minimal. It’s also mainly online where I have access to scanning documents and emailing them. I had a good experience dealing with the loan officer who was very nice and pleasant. Also, anytime I had questions, he was available to answer them.
