I was checking out a number of companies and when I got to Clear Path, the customer service was excellent. I dealt with a young lady who was prompt and professional. I refinanced with them and the process went smoothly. Everything's been fine and I’ve recommended Clear Path to three of my friends and a couple of my family members.

ClearPath was upfront with everything we were trying to do. Other lenders were very vague and they didn't explain anything. So, I just called them and they said, "Yeah, we'll do the best we can with you," and the application went so easy. We have done business with many lenders when we asked for a VA loan, and they were the best one we ever did business with. They got me a fixed rate, the lowest I could get anywhere. I'm just satisfied.

ClearPath Lending sent a letter about lowering my interest rate. When I contacted them, I told my wife about the information they gave me and we were interested because of its low mortgage payment. Also, they watch the interest rates to see if they go up or down, and then they'll let me know and that's beneficial. My wife did most of the application and she mainly dealt with Lily. She was very courteous and polite. The day we went to sign the papers, my wife just got me in the car and took me down and had me sign them but it seemed excessive for signing. Other than that, it was a very good experience.

I went online and I saw the reviews that everyone gave ClearPath Lending were high. I also noticed that ClearPath Lending reduced the interest rate of veterans and I'm a veteran so that helped me. The application process was fast, easy, and took me 2-3 weeks. The information they gave me was accurate. The loan officer was clear on whatever he told me and proposed, and he called me when needed. Also, the services are fast. I recommend ClearPath to everyone.

Chris called, talked to me and was honest so I continued with ClearPath Lending. He spoke with me because I had to get the bathroom fixed due to the termites and he stuck with me all the way through. And then I had to get the application signed by the notary public and he also stuck with it all the way. He did not lack the time and he kept in good contact with me. The people who helped me went beyond the call of duty.

I have gotten a mail talking about VA benefits and ClearPath was the one that sent it out. I called them and I've been dealing with them for a couple of years. I got to work with Joe and just really liked the way he handled everything. He's always been good to me so I just stayed with ClearPath. The process was really easy. We did everything over the internet and if I had any questions, it was always easy for me to call and get help with it. Or they'll come to me and tell me they will send in something to me, and that I needed to answer it as quickly as I could.
The loan officers were very courteous. If I had a problem, I could always just pick up the phone and call. They were always communicating back and forth through the email. If they needed anything, they'd send me an email saying they needed to talk to me or they'd always call me. If they couldn't get in touch with me, they'd leave a message for me to call them back. They were easy to work with and were always trying to help me find the best rates.

I wanted a better interest rate. ClearPath Lending was recommended to me and I came about them after a refinance. The application was a simple process. It took about four weeks, which met my expectation. This company also has great customer service. My loan officer was very informative. He definitely kept me abreast to all of the changes and he was very helpful with advice while everything was on-going too. I was impressed with his willingness to go the extra mile by making sure that he’d follow up when I couldn’t talk or couldn’t answer his call. Right now, I have a hybrid loan and I’m hoping to be able to upgrade that. I made my first payment this month. Everything with ClearPath Lending was great, so far.

I was looking at lowering my interest rate so I called ClearPath Lending's number and spoke to Anthony. He showed me what I was entitled to and the process and that's what had me convert over. He was very good, clear, personable and answered all of my questions in a very quick and timely manner. We have a three-hour time difference but any questions I had throughout the business day, he already has the answers that I need by the end of his business closing. I did a VA loan and the application process was very easy. I’ve already recommended ClearPath Lending to a couple of my friends.

ClearPath Lending gave me an offer for a better rate on a VA loan and it sounded interesting so I went forward with that. The lending officer, John, knows his business pretty well and he did a good job of helping me out. He got me consolidated and helped me pay off other smaller obligations which I was interested in doing also. The process from beginning to end took at least a couple of months and everything seemed to go well. Now, they've handed the loan off to a loan management company. So at this point, they're waiting on me to give them that first payment. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to slip that right out of bank account if I told them they could, and put that on automatic payment. Overall, ClearPath did great and I'm pleased to have worked with them.

I wanted to try and maximize my resources, so I looked into getting a loan. I read some reviews on Google and then I happened to get a mailing from ClearPath. When I first spoke to the loan officer, Alex, he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was willing to explain point counterpoint questions to my satisfaction. So, it worked out well.
I was already at a very low-interest rate. I was at 3.375% and I took advantage of a 2.75% for five years and then with a one-year cap. So, no matter which way the economy went, I would not be in jeopardy. It helped me out in the short term. The application went seamlessly, quickly, and efficiently. The individual they sent out made the process, as far as the notary, painless. The process didn’t take more than three weeks. The whole thing went without a hiccup and was pleasant.
The loan officer was available at all times. He had no problem getting a text from me. He also answered back right away. He accepted phone calls and emailed without an issue. He was efficient and fast. However they’re doing themselves a disservice by not putting their process in verbiage on the screen rather than advertising that cartoon style.

I had many hiccups that I had to call him back and he kept me going every step of the way. He was very easy to get a hold of. The application process was easy, too. I had to do a couple of signatures and next thing I knew, it was done. The loan was funded after a couple of days. I really like ClearPath. They got me through the process and it was very painless. That kind of stuff could be a bare, long process, but they got it through pretty good and pretty quick. I would definitely recommend them to other people. If I'll have credit card debt high like it did again, I will go through them again.

I was in the process of refinancing my house. I had a home equity line of credit. It was in the repayment period after 10 years and I wanted to reduce my payments. I have made an inquiry about refinancing and started the process with others when one of the loan officers from ClearPath called. It was a cold call and I was skeptical at first. But the salesman I spoke with was very good and cooperative. I went with them because they were good in saying what documents are necessary and when I got them, that was it. The other ones, who were bigger and better, come back with a change in underwriters and more documents. I got frustrated with them. But for ClearPath, I had excellent credit, good income, the appraisal is over $1.1M and getting a $407,000 loan is not a big deal. I was out of the country for three or four weeks. At first, the loan process was delayed but after the delay, it was quick.

ClearPath Lending sent me something and informing me about the new interest rates. So, I got in touch with them to ask a couple of questions. I had dealt with Quicken Loans before and I was very unsatisfied with the commercialism of it and not being given that individual treatment. But ClearPath’s rep, David, was a gentleman. He was the first person I talked to and the one that handled my refinancing. ClearPath was very upfront with all the fees and all the information. They also made themselves very available for me at any time. When I call and he was not available at that time, he would get back to me immediately. I had a VA loan and he was on top of everything. The whole process took 40 days and that met my expectation.
My loan is guaranteed to stay at the rate that I was guaranteed because it's through the VA for three years. If I decide to change back to the fixed rate after the three years then it would be subject to increases. With the loan that ClearPath chose with me, I can change my mind anytime. If I do change, there's a loyalty guarantee that there will be no fees incurred on the changing back, which is a plus. With that, I'm going to get my interest back every time I refinance. I'm comfortable enough with them that instead of being an average person who switches back in six months so they get another two months’ rent and the interest back, I'm choosing to stay with the VA loan for three years.
I asked all the questions I had and they answered a lot. With ClearPath, I was able to look at the bottom line of how much I'm going to save from the two months that I don't have to pay the mortgage, how much I was going to get back and how long. I had all that information. Overall, I'm super satisfied with the experiences I had with ClearPath. It was a very enjoyable time to do business with a company that deals with individuals on an individual basis.

I was fortunate to have a good ClearPath counselor. Our experience with our 3-5 year fix loan application with them was excellent. In the beginning, it was too early to move forward and they stayed in touch until it was time. The process moved expeditiously immediately when it started and went as scheduled. I was going through all these different people and getting denied. Then ClearPath Lending goes, “Hold on, we can help you.” They had a totally different demeanor. They said, “Let’s see what we can do for you.” And it happened. The loan officer has called me many times, but he's a busy man and he will play phone tag a little bit. But he got back to me quick, if not right away, had the answer for my questions, and didn't blow me off. Once we got the ball rolling, giving the paperwork to him, it took only a couple of weeks. I was really happy with the timeline and the way it went. No qualms with that cause whatever he said were true. I wanted to get his name and number emailed to me since he promised in four months, he would see if my credit score went up so we can continue the business, but I might have lost it.

The loan officer from ClearPath, James, was upfront and honest and I liked that because I had a lot of others that weren't honest. James did what he said and he told me exactly what was going to happen and it happened. Other companies would lie and say stuff that wasn't true and I would catch them in a lie after lie. I was also interested in being able to miss two payments which I am able to do with ClearPath because I'm on a month-to-month and being able to free up a couple of months worth of mortgages took a lot of pressure off me. Not to mention the escrow that they got back which was nice. I have a daughter that was graduating from high school and it came in the right time.
She wanted to go on a cruise and it made it possible for us to do it. If people get in contact with ClearPath I would recommend to people to listen to what they have to say because they're true. I know that there's a lot of people that were lied to like I was that when someone sets something good and it happens we're pleasantly surprised and thankful.

Then it took a week and a half for them to send me some stuff and me sending it back to them. Finally, the notary came out about a week after that so the application process was quick and easy.
Their reps are also very friendly and they watch out for us. My loan officer called me up, asked me if there was anything else that I needed and kept me informed. He also gave me his number to give him a call if I had any questions and said he'll take care of me. My wife asked some questions so I called him up and he had all the answers. I went in for a refinance since there was a change from my mortgage company to lower my interest rate and got a letter in the mail from ClearPath Lending. I like it that they dropped my interest rate down over a point from what I was paying and saved me $150 a month. Working with the loan officer was an enjoyable experience. The mortgage office that they used was having a system glitch with their internet and their phones so I called the loan officer. In the process of getting all the paperwork done, he gives me not only his email address and his office number but he also gives me his cell phone number in case I had some issues or had any questions.
When the lawyer’s office was having an issue with their phones, I called him because it was a little bit earlier than the office out there opens. It was a bad timing since he was getting ready for a funeral but he still took the time out to take and call the person that set up the lawyer’s office and that person turned around and was able to get through to him.
So, within, 20 to 30 minutes or so, after talking to him, I was on the phone with the lawyer’s office. They were able to get through and get them to call me back and I was able to get everything set up. That loan officer went over and above his job description. That’s for sure. Also, there was a guy I worked with over there at ClearPath who helped me figure out how to get some things situated, it was on my credit report. So, I’ve gotten here because of the way they’ve done the loan. They also gave me two months of no payments as well which made it possible to get caught up on some bills that I was behind on and pay some stuff off that was on my credit report and trying to bring my credit score back up.
I’ve already gotten a couple of phone calls from the mortgage company that resumed the loan. I’ve also gotten a phone call from ClearPath Lending to make sure that everything was okay and everything was all right, that the transition to the other company was okay and that everything was still the way it was supposed to be. They followed through. The other mortgage company I went to, they didn’t follow through. ClearPath has done great and I’ve already recommended them to four other and three of which have already called and talk to the loan officer that I dealt with to refinance them.

I was going through the internet and I read nothing but good things about ClearPath Lending, so I called them. I had a great experience with their rep, Joel. I took the 30-year fixed rate loan program. He called me every Monday and every Friday until everything went through. He came to our house to close. He's just an outstanding gentleman and I gave three or four of my veteran shield numbers because he did an outstanding job.
In two weeks, we were all squared away and in the third week they came and did the paperwork. We had good credit but it's outstanding how they took care of us. There's always a gentleman there who thanks me for my service. That means a lot when a Vietnam vet comes back home. I’m trying to tell every veteran that wants to be refinanced to go through ClearPath because they are really good. Another thing I like so much is that they don't resell you. My rep is still that same person and that means a lot. He also said that if I wanted to buy another house or if the rate goes down, I don't have to pay any more at closing. They'll let us know, which means a lot when you work hard to get your home. If anybody needs financing, if they don't go to ClearPath, then something's wrong with them. The application process was simple and it took two months. The rep was really communicative and we returned each other's phone calls. The loan officer was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He’s very courteous and professional. They mentioned that if the interest rate drops down low, they would automatically drop mine down low too. I'm with HomeBridge right now and he told me that if I have any questions, he’ll be my agent. He could still answer my questions so he’s been there for me. I'm glad I'm doing business with them.

ClearPath helped me refinance my home and it was super easy. They did most of the application process for me and whatever they couldn’t do, they emailed me and we e-signed everything else. I’ve talked to five different companies and compared to them, ClearPath was very professional. They took their time and answered all my questions. I talked to their reps three different times and they answered their phone right away. They also knew exactly what they were doing. My loan officer was very high speed and got the job done in a timely manner. The next time I need to refinance or buy a home, I'll call ClearPath first.

The gentleman that helped me do all the paperwork to get me started knew what he was talking about and was very helpful. I like the interest rate that I was able to get with ClearPath. I’m inside their loyalty program and getting that rate is a perk. In the loyalty program, if you’re a veteran, they will look to see if there’s a better interest rate for you out there every six months. And if there is, you’re not paying any closing cost or appraisal fees. They’re going to take care of all that for you. That’s what they did with my last refinance and I was able to not make my mortgage payment for two months. I will recommend them to other veterans. They’re good when it comes to helping veterans.

I figured that in the long run, it's going to be easier for my son to take over with the lower percentage rate. I appreciate that ClearPath tried for months. I got letters for four months, and then I decided to call. Chris was the only one I really talked to. Sometimes, he called me two to three times a day to let me know and keep me in the loop even more than he had to. He even gave me his home number. If I had questions, he took the time to talk to me and explained things to me. I was very impressed.
I was really happy with them because, at one time, I had told them that Home Depot tried to put the company down. So, I made up my mind, especially when Chris called me back, that I'd hate to listen to ClearPath. However, Chris asked for five minutes, and I gave him five minutes. But then we talked for 15 minutes almost every time and he sold me on to ClearPath. I had the refinance with a lower percentage rate with them.
On the other hand, I was upset when I go volunteer my time at the VA. I know a ton of people that are at a high percentage rate. One of them is paying 7% and it's an outdated policy. I told him to ask ClearPath about the credit, which I shouldn’t have done. But he told me it was pretty bad and that they were a month behind on their house payment. It probably wouldn't have been a good prospect there. And then yesterday, I wrote a check so ClearPath didn’t start taking automatic deductions out on the 1st of every month.
Nevertheless, I had a great experience with ClearPath, especially with Chris. He worked hard and everyone else worked hard to get this thing handled fast. At first, I had my doubts and everything. Then they notified the other people about the change. They gave me a lot of help. They have been professional and talked to me in a civil way.

We had to refinance our house and we got a notice for a V.A. home loan refinance and it ended up being ClearPath. The application process was mostly pleasant but there were some difficulties. The loan officers were not as informed or as truthful as I would have liked. My wife had no idea what an escrow account was. And the loan officer explained that it was a fund of money that continues to build up as the value of the house appreciated and that would then get dispersed to you either on a six month or yearly basis when you ask for it or when you transfer the loan to a different carrier. That is grossly inaccurate and it has nothing to do with that.
But for the most part, they were very courteous and were able to answer questions. It all completed satisfactorily in the end. Overall, it was a fairly pleasant experience, but given the exact same situation again, I would actively look for a different loan agency. They need to make sure that the loan officers are both entirely versed in all of the seemingly simple questions that will come up from home buyers during the loan process and has the ability to explain them at a very low level. They need to be able to explain property taxes and things like that to somebody who has never owned a home before.

I didn’t have to ask him twice about something and he had an answer right away. If he didn’t, he would get back to me on our next conversation. He's easy to work with and he was very clear and professional. I had to get some copies of bank statements, driver’s license and some common stuff, and I sent them to him the first time then they got to me and said they needed a copy of my social security. It would’ve been easier for me to do all of this at once but unfortunately, it wasn’t. But other than that, it was a smooth transition. Also, I needed an appraisal of this property. When I first came in, it was appraised at $230,000 which was last year and I told them that. But they had to have an appraisal and they sent a guy out and he appraised it at $230,000. There wasn't a problem and it's just something that had to be done.
I basically knew what was going on because I read on this. We had some problems with the roof inspection but it was nobody's fault. Out here in Arizona, the roof inspections are free so nobody wants to come and give one. Plus, we coated it before and they needed proof of that through the roof inspection. We got hung up on that for almost two weeks. There was one guy who came out and then he didn’t seem too interested and it pissed me off. I ran him off and I had to get another one but they canceled out on me. Finally, the third guy came out and went up there. There were no problems but they needed proof. They couldn’t take my word for it.
Other than that, it was very clear and the cash was approved on a Thursday and it went in the bank on a Friday. A company that works that quick but thorough was top of my rating on what they do. They told me it was supposed to take 30 to 45 days but this took almost six months because of the problems with the roof inspection.

He's very helpful, looked out for my interest and gave me good advice the best that he could if I ask him. He always returned my calls right away and took care of me. I really appreciated that. It was so easy and neat 'cause I could do everything online and I don't have to leave my house then go out to sign the papers. It's excellent and I'm very satisfied.

Some of the other lenders we talked to were only gonna do a one-month deferred but ClearPath did two months so I didn’t have to make a payment after two months. And that money we got quite a few bills paid off. I did everything through e-mail and it was a lot easier than when I first got the Veterans loan. One of the loan officers explained that the loan would add money but that would get two months deferred and then my payment would go all the way down to $1,000.
I started the process with them but then I decided that I wasn’t gonna do it because we’re worried about the adjustable rate thing. My loan officer called me and told me I’d be getting stuff in the mail about the Loyalty program. They would make sure it would look like they’re gonna go up after 41 months and if the rates are gonna go up, then I'd let him know so he could get a fixed rate. But I haven't received anything yet and I don’t know how they’re gonna do it now since they sold the loan to Freedom. But we still decided to go ahead and do it, get the almost $80 less a month for at least 41 months and then get even more caught up on a lot of things.
Also, I’m supposed to get all my escrow but I didn’t. But overall, ClearPath was really easy to work with. My loan officer was friendly, and he explained everything to me. He would always return my calls and we had good communication. It was really easy to get everything done over the e-mails so it was a good experience and I wish I could stay with ClearPath.

My husband and I have refinanced and it so happens that the people that we were with took the long back over. We were with Freedom Mortgage and then they took the mortgage back. Our agent at ClearPath, Mike, was very good and he talks like a family member. He's the most confident representative I have met in my life and he's really number one. He made me feel very comfortable in what he was doing and he was great at explaining everything to details. I felt okay because there are so many scams going on around here in this day and time so, it's hard to really kind of trust people but he was okay. We love him.
He made the process very easy for us. He explained everything about it, what we have to do and if we have to send certain papers back or how everything is supposed to go. He also kept a constant check, made sure that we were okay and anytime anything came up that he felt as though we would want to know, in which we did, he would call us and let us know what was going on and how far we've gotten in case we didn't know. He also told us about an honesty policy that they have in working with a VA and that made me feel more comfortable because I know the VA and I just approve of anything.
From the first time that we got a mortgage here, besides the aim itself going through them and not a financing lending place and just the VA, this was the best experience that I had. People are going to call you and say they're from so and so place and this and that and it's like a runaround thing like people are not very honest. But ClearPath, Mike and everything were right on time. We didn't have to worry or think about or have doubts or listen to any other. We put our peace and trust in him. We feel that it is a really tight organization and we feel that it takes care of their clients. You can always talk to someone from the office and it's not a difficult organization to deal with.

Everything went hunky-dory and peachy keen when I refinanced with ClearPath. I picked them after I went online and had several conversations with people like Quicken Loans and some other places. I checked all of their references and ClearPath had an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and all 5-star ratings with all of their customer comments. I went to their website and filled out some information.
I have a VA loan and I had a 3.5 percent fixed for 30 years. The loan that I have through ClearPath Lending was at 3.75 for 30. But, what I needed to do was to take out some cash. In order to do that, I had to go with the current rate that’s why it went up. The loan officer was wonderful and he did a great job. He gave me an online link and I looked him up. He had all 5-star ratings as well. My son is looking for a finance company right now and I told him that I would definitely like for him to talk to our loan officer at ClearPath Lending.

I went with the refinance because I had a loan with loanDepot and I didn't like them. I had an emergency and I had to come up with $3,800. I didn't have enough to make a loan payment on time. I called them three weeks ahead of time and told them I'd be late. They said it's okay but they're going to fine me $25. But what they did is they went to the credit bureau and turned me in so I lost about 80 points on my score. I was very upset. I didn't know that I cannot miss a month's payment. I paid it on the 31st day instead of the 30th. They screwed me so I got away from them.
I got a letter from ClearPath asking me if I wanted to refinance. The loan lender and I talked and we got a good deal and a better rate. We refinanced a couple of times after that and I went from 4 to 3.75 to 3.375. So this is my third refinance and I am very happy with them. I also got all paraphernalia from ClearPath like booklets six months ago so I appreciate ClearPath. They are good. The only thing I'm mad about is that I have to suffer the consequences. I was a 708 and then my credit score went down to 665 and I was pissed but that was because of loanDepot.

I checked reviews for major lending companies online and ClearPath had the best reviews on multiple sites. I contacted them and heard back from an agent quickly. I provided all my documents. It was verified that the documents were received. Subsequently we received copies of our credit reports. Then nothing and more nothing. I contacted the agent who apologized and said he'd get on it. Then - nothing again. I contacted him again. He called me back and left a voicemail saying he'd try again later. That was the last time I heard from him. My first contact was in March and it's now the end of June. I don't have a quote or anything but my credit score is lower because they pulled our credit report which now is outdated. We've had our house for eight years and we were looking at all the advertisements that came through at the VA percentage rates. We had refinanced for an equity loan two years ago and the company stuck us at 4.75. But we were supposed to be on a VA loan and it wasn't supposed to be that high at that time. We had a hybrid loan and my son convinced us that it was going to jump on us and charge us a great amount of money after a short time so we went with a stable, 30-year fixed loan. However, we jumped a point and I wasn't happy about it.
When I took the loan out, we cleared up credit cards and did some remodeling in the house. I had one of the bank repo houses we bought and the kitchen and the bathrooms had been gutted. The people that bought it fixed it up and did a few things to make it look better, but it wasn't quite what I wanted. So, we took out the loan. It was little higher than I wanted to go. And they kept making mistakes and I couldn't figure out why. They kept saying that we weren't paying enough into our escrow account. They were supposed to be taking it out of our monthly paychecks that we've sent them. I told them, "Why aren't you subtracting the right amount?" They didn't correct it and did the same thing again the next year. That didn't make sense to me and so I wasn't happy too happy with that.
When ClearPath Lending came along, the interest rate was quite a substantial decrease and was another hybrid VA loan, which I was interested in because it makes it much easier. Also, I understood what they were talking about by percentage rates. We had a good chat with Adam who was nice and thorough. We got everything done fast and it wasn't hard to do. They sent somebody out to close on the loan.

She told me to call them, ask about VA loans and see if they can drop the interest rate.
So I called and talked to Jethro. He gave me the information, told me what I can and what I need to do. I gave it a try and all of a sudden, Jethro came back saying I qualified for it. And to drop my interest down, that was one good thing because it saved us over $200 a month on our payment. That was excellent and so we really got that done. Then Jethro told me about some of the other things ClearPath has going for like once I paid my first three months, he'd send me some more information. I got one about the insurance for the house just in case something happens to us.
We really didn't have to do anything. We just waited for them, they did all the work and called us up once a week. And then, I get a bill from the new mortgage company saying my mortgage was due in June instead of July. It's my fault because in signing the papers, I noticed one had first payment due July 1st and another one had June 1st. I called and asked the loan officer, but he said, "No, it's July 1st." And should have just followed my first mind and said, "No. Either straighten the paperwork out, that I'm not interested." So now, I'm really mad at them because I got to pay mortgage this month and I hadn't paid.
Matt, the guy who did it said he was going to get his managers try to get Quicken Loans to pay me the money back because when they paid the loan off, I paid for April out of my pocket. And so, I'm stuck for $1,050. ClearPath should make the correction and send me a check for that amount. I don't want to do any more business with them because I told them that there are two different dates on the paperwork and I was afraid that was going to happen. Quicken should have nothing to do with it. ClearPath and Quicken Loans has billions of dollars. $1,000 to me is a lot of money and that would not be much to them. But they have such a cavalier attitude like it wasn't a big deal. It is to me because I shouldn't have even signed the papers. But I took their word for it and I got stuck. When I talked to the loan officer, he was precise in what he was talking about and everything came out good. I went with a VA loan program and the application process was really good and easy. They knew what they were doing. I was looking to pay off my car and at this time, they weren't able to do it. But, they were able to lower a few bucks on my regular payment. Their rep promised that in eight to ten months, I have to refund it, and it would pay off my car and redo the financing.

The application process for refi was really quick with ClearPath Lending. It took three weeks and it wasn't stressful. I talked to Mark and he was different. He was more of asking how I am and what was going on, instead of promising things. He was good. He always checked in, told me who's going to call me, and kept me informed all the time. Unlike everybody else that I dealt with, where I'm sitting in the dark and I had to call them to find out what's going on and even asked me to pay extra money. All in all, my experience with ClearPath was great.

I've been trying to get my interest rate at the lowest that I can possibly get with the good credit that I had. I'm coming off bankruptcy and I've worked hard to build my credit back up. The credit was now outstanding so this is good a shot as any to go ahead with ClearPath and try to do it. The minute I called, they were interested and once the ball got rolling, they serviced me with straightforward information and I didn't feel like I was being played. I did look on the Better Business Bureau and ClearPath had a first-rate company and I feel comfortable.
From that point on, the rep took very good care of me. He'd taken care of mostly everything and I really appreciate that. He was patient and always willing to answer any stupid question that I had. The application process was ridiculously simple. There was no stress and they had all my paperwork in order. Anything that they needed or wanted extra, I had or was easy for me to obtain. I wanted to lower my mortgage and the application process with ClearPath was pretty nice and easy. The loan officer that I worked with was very nice. I went with the adjustable loan program because he guaranteed that I couldn't get hurt on it. In the past, I would never have done that. He said his son did by the VA, and if it ever got higher, they would let me know and there would be plenty of time to refinance. The only thing I was disappointed in is that they said that I would be getting a check for $1,400 from the impounds but I only got $600. If I had known that, I wouldn't have had to pay upfront for another one. But overall, ClearPath was very courteous and professional.

I don't get to and fro from one person to another. Also, the loan officer was cool. They're a very good company and I like them a lot.
The application process was easy. I got the fixed rate, two and a quarter percent, VA loan program. It's a lot better than paying my mortgage payment. They're also a lot better than Loan Depot and all the other companies that I could think of. My mortgage payment now is $570 but with Loan Depot, it was about $640 a month. I'm trying to save some money so I could re-do the house at the same time. I'll have to wait a couple of more years for refinancing the house but I needed to do some major construction on it and Loan Depot wouldn't even do that and they took me for a ride. Everybody was really nice and they got back to me immediately when I asked a question. I really like that so I went ahead and went with them for the VA loan. We talked about it and they appraised the house by using a program without having to come out. They sent me an email and I worked with two different people. It's really nice that you can text them instead of waiting for an email or a phone call. They told me what they needed and to give them a call if I have any questions. Even though they were in California and I'm in Georgia, I never had a problem with them and I even learned quite a few things through them. It was a very easy process.
However, we ran into a bit of a problem. The appraiser that came out thought that our "Florida room" was not stable enough so he felt we needed to have a structural engineer come out here. It took us a while to find somebody to come out and do it. The room was fine but I didn't like the price that I had to pay. But our loan officer, Mark, was very good. He always likes to update every week so every Friday he would give me a call to tell what's going on. I could also text him which was really nice. I also dealt with Kristin with the loan and answers through an email. In addition, they have a loyalty program that you become a part of where they'll help you out even after the loan is placed which is cool. I had a sour taste with the first person who just left me up in the air and I did not know what was going on. I had already given him my information but there was about three weeks of nothing happening so I thought I was not going to do the refinance with anybody anymore. If I had a question, I could call and then leave a message and the loan officer would get back right with me and I didn't have to wonder for days. During all this process, I was having a total knee replacement and my father was real sick and passed away and there was so much stuff going on. But they were really good at emailing me and keeping us in touch with everything. They did lower our interest rate quite a bit and I have nothing but praise for them. I was very impressed with everything.

I had a good interest rate on the VA loan that I had with my house, but since I'm a veteran, lending companies tried to offer me lower rates, so I decided to refinance my house. ClearPath sent me a letter, so I called them and they told me that they can lower my rate from 3.75 to 2.25, and I started working things out with them. Everything was good during the application process. It was easy. I was constantly informed and there were a number of phone calls. Just a little bit of information was required on my part and it went from there. They just asked for standard information, like pay and income. My loan officer was great. He kept me informed and told me what was going to happen. All the paperwork was good and I just signed the loan papers. I'm satisfied with what they offered with the statistics and the guarantee on future loans. I was very pleased with everything. The service was great and how everything worked and fell in place.
