The ONLY reason I give one star is because a review does not recognize 0 stars. For fourteen years, I have had my Dodge Journey serviced by JTs. Last July was a catastrophic failure for service from these people. Simple oil change before vacay and an OK for travel. We traveled from SC to Blue Springs, MO to find out that the oil had in fact probably never been touched according to a great, seasoned mechanic at Firestone. Furious wasn't even close to the feeling I had. Upon the next oil change, I took the vehicle to JTs only because I wanted them to know that their pathetic service almost cost us an engine.
Fast forward to recently. My vehicle was running FINE. I went out to start it and NOTHING. We got the battery in 2024 and didn't even consider that it was dead. Tow truck came out. Excellent guy. Wright's Towing. He had the grandfather of battery chargers and cranked that succor right up, DROVE it onto the tow truck, dropped it off at JTs, told them my battery was dead. My husband also told the service center this morning that he was sure it was a dead battery. So, here we are.....pop vehicle on "Diagnosis machine" since there is no opt out for that - $250, can't get lug nuts off of tire for removal TO GET TO THE FLIPPIN' BATTERY or replacement BECCAUSE Lug nuts were swollen - $50, New battery, oil change, pissed off patron who will NEVER EVER be back to JTs of Lexington again unless it is to eat my lunch AT THE FRONT DOOR in my new vehicle purchased somewhere ELSE.
