I’m from New Zealand and traveled to Lake Louise in Alberta through Global's Working Holiday program. I go to work to a nice, easy-going job down at the little old market store that’s here. Then I hang out with the mates I’ve made here and go for hikes. If we have a bit of spare time we’ll go for a little hike and on my days off, we usually go down to the lake and hang out there. The range of where I could go is quite interesting.

She gave me all of the information that I needed to know. I enjoyed talking to her.

Travelling and working in Canada as well as meeting new people.

I'm from Sydney, Australia and traveled to Banff in Alberta, Canada. I had a friend that was in Banff, wanted to get there as quick as I could, and thought that doing it with The Global Work & Travel was the best option. So far, it's been great. They're all very friendly, helpful people. I got to Vancouver and did an orientation at their office there. They helped set me up with my bank account and phone number and got me a job as well. I already had my passport and I have a travel money card from Australia, so that was sorted out before I came over. I never thought I'd see anything as beautiful as Canada although I don't think I'd be staying in for long, but I don't want to leave now.

I'm from Australia but in Vancouver now because of the Working Holiday program from The Global Work & Travel Co. It was a good company to go with and their team members have been helpful, though they didn't have to help me too much. I sorted out the Visa myself, so they only had to get me through after that in getting me here, which included getting the flights and insurance. Chrissie has been helping me out with websites and a few job offerings though there hasn't been a lot that I've been able to pick up so we're still looking. They've also helped me out in creating bank accounts and SIN number.

The Global Work & Travel Co.'s Working Holiday has been really of great value and convenient because where I was working, I didn't have activities to do and they did it all for me. They were really friendly and helped me do what I gotta get done. I'm from New Zealand but when I signed up, I was living in Australia and I traveled to Canada. At the moment I work as a server in Nova Scotia on a lake in Lunenburg. So I just work, swim, and drink. I just really wanted to travel and work. So, just being able to do, that is basically what I'm getting out of the program. This place in itself is a highlight. I'm about to go jump on a boat and go around, and I've got a nice bottle of bubbly getting ready to be drunk. I'm living the dream.

I called GW&T over a year ago, and the visa application went easy and fast. I had someone helping me all along. Then life happened and I was not able to go to Canada like I wanted, but Jen my coordinator never forgot me and 3 weeks before my date of entry expired I was able to fly to Vancouver for the Orientation day! Jen has always been present to help, any questions, any doubts, she had an answer for. I met her at GW&T Vancouver Office and it was like meeting a friend! That day they got us a bank account and a phone plan and taxback file. All in one day. I am now in Ontario in a summer resort and Jen is already talking about where I should go for the winter. I found GW&T professional and energetic and helpful. I would recommend!

Very good experience, answered all my questions. The thing that excited me most about this was the fact that you're taken care of extremely well, which is what you need when you're in a country away from home.

I'm from Brisbane, Australia then I participated in the Global Work & Travel's Working Holiday International Experience Canada and I traveled to Lake Lilly, Alberta. Their program was great, however, the travel experience wasn't very good. The people were very bad in assisting on my travel needs. But the last person, Krissy from Vancouver made it all worth it. Now that I'm here, I'm enjoying myself. I'm just living life in general since participating in the program and I experience what I ask for each weekend.
