Always a worry buying anything from another country... However, this was a very good seedless process. I got lots of support from Bunny and the team. I can't explain how informative and transparent my experience was regarding the purchase of the timeshare. We recently purchased a resale timeshare from Sell My Timeshare Now (SMTN). We were nervous at first because...well it was a timeshare we were buying. :) We had done our research and knew what we wanted and what to expect from the BP Privilege Club TS we purchased. SMTN made the process easy and timely. They provided a copy of the previous owner's contract for review, communicated during all the steps along the way and followed up to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I signed up for SMTN series over a year ago and foolishly paid their fee upfront. Since then I was contacted only once to lower my price to a ridiculously low level, which I declined. Every time I go to see myadv4ertisement the pictures do not load. I decided to keep my timeshare, but the company refuses to refund my fee, stating that it was used to advertise my unit. However, they could not provide any statistics on the advertisement traffic, number of views and general information on how and where it is advertised. This is the worst company I have ever been associated with. They do not do anything to promote your sale, refuse to refund your money even if you no longer interested in selling. I strongly advise anyone interested in disposing of their timeshare to stay away from dealing with this company as they are just a bunch of crooks.

We found the timeshare online and SMTN helped close and complete the purchase. We were pleased at how easy they made it. It was all done online in less than 30 days. I was wary of the online closing at first but everything went smoothly. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I had a positive and easy experience selling my timeshare in Colorado. Expectation management: expect a long wait and don't expect to sell it for what you paid for it. I have now been trying to sell my timeshare for about 2 1/2 years. That right there should tell you they don't deliver on their promises. I actually underpriced what they told me to sell it for by several thousand dollars, and after 3 months with no hits, finally talked to them again. They said to change the ad every few weeks to keep it near the top of searches. I have methodically done this for over 2 years now, reducing the price every few weeks. I am selling now for pennies on the dollar. I have had only 4 inquiries in this whole time, and each was a scam where they try and take the timeshare for nothing, just 'relieving' you of the annual fees. What a SCAM!

The folks from SMTN did and excellent job, on the sale of our timeshare, it took several months to arrive at the final stage, but is worth it. All paperwork is very easy to understand. We are very happy and pleased.

I had contacted SMTN early in the year interested in a platinum oceanfront week at the Marriott Ocean Pointe resort. At the time they did not have any in the inventory at the price I was willing to pay. However, they kept my request on file and contacted me when such a week became available meeting my price requirement. They handled all the purchase issues in a transparent and efficient way and made sure that the 2021 week owned by the seller was transferred for my use. They were professional and pleasant to work with.

Their assessment started out at $900. per year and this year was going to be $1,800. HELLO!!!! Don’t buy from high pressure Marriott sales people. They should be in JAIL!! Lock em UP!!

Updated on 11/10/2020: Do not use this company. After one year only receive one offer. Stop making promises that you don't fulfill to me. It is a complete SCAM!! Last review they told that was another third party company that withdraw my money. You don't fulfill what you promised. Refund my money or contact the other third party to to make a full refund not partial.

The experience was smooth. Led by very professional, helpful, and competent staff. While I didn't get as much as I wanted for the property, this was not the fault of the company, and I felt no pressure to accept the offer as presented by the buyer.

First I run my own business and over the past 2 years have been contacted by multiple sources offering to sell me good reviews and likes on our Facebook page. Hmmm. I contracted with SMTN in 2015 to sell my Marriott's Frenchman's Cove timeshare. Was told by ** that it would sell fast because of the popularity of the location and was also told she would be my personal service rep and I could speak to her directly every time I called. I have not spoken with her since. Hmmm.

The value the team helped us to get on the property was great. The timing to close the transaction and the communication along the way was spotty at-best. If the communication was proactive - this would be a 5-star review.

I have a time Share in Las Vegas but because of my husband's job commitment we are unable to use it. I reached out to a company to sell it who directed me to this company. I spoke to a gentleman who told me they are in high demands for this type of time share and would not have a problem selling it. They told me I had to pay a fee upfront. I told him I would be making a sacrifice with my credit card because he was very excited how in demand they were for my type of property. I have not gotten 1 offer and even dropped the price twice.

The service was courteous and professional. I appreciated the follow through and the results speak for themselves. I liked the way I could check in with the dashboard to keep up with the activity. I look forward to other sales of other units.

In midst of COV 19 pandemic our timeshare was sold at a price that allowed us to recover our costs. I am pleased with our dealings SellMyTimeshareNow. With so many Scams out there it was nice to deal with people who were honest, professional and very helpful. We owned 2 weeks. Buyer only wanted one. Resort would not split. SMTN got creative and saved the deal.

Going into buying a timeshare was a little bit daunting, as I have never done it before and didn't have a whole lot of knowledge about them. Ryan made everything as transparent and clear as possible. My wife and I bought into the HGVC years ago as a means to try and fix the cost of bringing our large family together every year for a family reunion. We listed our 4 timeshares with SMTN.com over a year ago. Our listed price was too high and we got no response for quite some time. As of today, we have sold 3 of the 4 timeshares that we have listed. We appreciate their service.

We used SMTN.com to buy our new timeshare in Breck at a fraction of the cost of buying new through the resort. Communication between our sales rep and the rest of the team was wonderful, and we would definitely use them again to buy another week.

Text of review to Consumer Affairs – Gave 1 star. We (my wife and I) purchased a membership in a vacation club-Bluegreen, subsequently unable to use it due to health problems. We were referred to SMTSN which turned into a bigger loss. Most of what we were told was either in error or false. Little contact, no results. Had we checked BBB, we would have known to steer clear. Learned the hard and expensive way. Regret having dealt with SMTSN - too late for us now, maybe not for someone else. Beware all the sunshine and roses. The bloom has faded and the clouds have no silver lining. Gave 1 star as that is the least. With an option, would go way, way lower. Disappointed that I was taken in by glib, smooth talker, who, obviously has done this before.

Purchased a timeshare using ** as my agent. It was an easy painless transaction. They communicated with me even on holidays and weekends. They were efficient and handled everything electronically! They even handled reserving our week. I would use them again any day.

Overall I am pleased, with the results and the help provided, by SMTN. SMTN did what they said they would do, but the sales price was lower than expected. I was disappointed in Marriott, that they would not buy back the condo until it was about to be sold for a lower price which would have affected their market selling price.

We took a trip to Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, Vidanta in particular. In August, 2019...reserved through membership with RCI. We were so impressed by the property and staff we decided to explore the idea of becoming an owner. Already owning at Vacation Village in Orlando and Wyndham in Nashville we were told we could essentially trade these in for ownership at Vidanta. When it came down to the contract signing we realized we're not given any type of trade in on what we owned and we would then be contacted by a company to recoup what we had sent by assisting us in selling the two properties...Sell My Time Share Now.

My husband fell for the Hilton time share pitch. We purchased a 2 and a 1 bedroom unit in Platinum Season. We stayed and skied for 4 years but could never trade the week as was described initially. We joked about with what we paid we could be staying in a 5 star hotel! The annual fees seemed OK, but when I saw what we could have purchased our nice units for on SMTN I was upset. Our sales person and everyone we dealt with at SMTN was knowledgeable and efficient. The sales went smoothly. Knowing what we could purchase a time share for on SMTN, we have actually tossed around the possibility of purchasing again in the future.

I contacted this company in July of 2017. I was told that this was a premium company that specializes in selling timeshares. I was convinced to list all five of my unites as they proceeded to collect $7.500 from me. The only offer I received was for someone to take them off my hands, which I am convinced that it was their internal people trying to steal these away and resale them themselves. To this date (3 years later), I have yet to receive any offer other than that above. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! It appears they are just old time car salesmen that has moved to a different product.

Great experience from start to closing. Our agent answered all our questions and we were starting the closing process within a week of first contact. Even closed quicker than what was expected and ownership transferred over with no issues. Would recommend them to anyone searching for a timeshare.

SellMyTimeshareNOW made the process quick and easy. Our biggest concern, not having sold a timeshare before, was that we would somehow fall victim to a scam. This obviously was not the case and the transaction unfolded exactly as all documentation said it would.

My salesman Victor was knowledgeable, responsive, and quite patient with my multiple property questions, and inquiries...ultimately Negotiated a great deal on a Timeshare at Westin Lagunamar. We now own 3 different properties! Would definitely call in Victor at Sellmytimesharenow IF I decide to purchase or sell my properties!

After giving them almost $2,000 upfront to help me dispose of my Sheraton Flex Vacation, I have had no offers even though I lowered the price. These people are crooks running a Ponzi scheme! Not once have I heard from them! The times I did talk to them is because I initiated the call. They gave me zero guidance as to pricing.

Be sure to ask the salesperson how many listings they have for your property. I did not think to ask this question and of course my listing is #207 in the line of timeshares for sale in LV on this property, my listing will never sell as there are 175 listed at a lower price than mine. It is my fault, I did not ask the question. It was all sugar during the sales pitch, "we closed this week on a sale in your building", we can sell yours, it likely sold for $1. Buyer beware, do your homework, I paid yet another fee on my timeshare I will never recover. This service is yet just another way to get into your pocket….

I was directed to SMTN by Customer Service people in 2018. They were eager to collect my $1798 +fee and “list” my timeshare with Westin. As of April, 2020 my timeshare has not sold, even after dropping the price to below market value according to their guidelines as to "value". I have never hear from SMTN since I purchased their service in October 2018. We have been "conned" into pre-paying a very large fee with no subsequent efforts by SMTN. This company takes your money - then does nothing in return. After seeing reviews of so called "happy people" - I firmly believe those reviews are fake and another "con" job from this company. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR CON! ZERO stars. But forced to give them one just to write this review.

SMTN has stepped up and has resolved our complaint to our satisfaction.

Joe ** was the associate who handled my situation from start to finish. I’d like to give a big shout out to Joe. Excellent employee. He was a very nice, very professional person who explained literally every step of the process, and why those steps were being taken. He was very easy to talk to, and answered all my questions patiently. He explained that I was paying to place an advertisement for my timeshare onto SMTN’s official website. He explained the chances of Re-selling my timeshare with them were very good, and then he showed me how many people worldwide actually visit and browse through the website per day. It’s hit or miss whether anybody will buy or not, but at least your timeshare gets exposure.

We were keep informed throughout the entire process and we were given clear and concise instructions from the time of submitting an initial offer through the timeshare closing. UPDATE: SellMyTimeshare has reached out to me to find a way to resolve all my issues. I'm actually impressed they even cared to follow up with me. I spoke with Mary who has taken every effort to make sure I get out from under this timeshare. One option I didn't know they had is to also rent my timeshare. Which is a great option for me and they will set this all up in addition to some extra services to keep promoting my timeshare for sale. I don't know what the result of the new changes will be but I'm glad I have not been forgotten about and left feeling taken advantage of.

We purchased two weeks at Hilton Grand Vacation Club at Borgo Alle Vigne. The original deed had multiple weeks combined into one deed, which required splitting to complete the process. Additionally, the owner lived overseas which slowed the communications and paperwork process, but throughout everything we had excellent communications with Thomas. We knew exactly what we wanted, and two Platinum weeks at Borgo Alle Vigne was worth the extended transaction. Thomas was very professional and great to work with, and we highly recommend him. The fees for the process were reasonable, especially considering everything involved. Thanks again for a great transaction.

Marriott SurfWatch timeshare purchase. I bought the 2 BR time share, was a little concerned about purchasing it. Made a good deal on the purchase. Every thing went very good. Just finished the whole process. I asked if they could get a reservation, they checked on what was available, good time, they made I for me. Every things went as they told me, I asked for information, got that quick, all proved honest and accurate. No problems, very well pleased with the whole process. Price and all cost was just what they told me at the start. I recommend anyone can buy a time share with them. I may even buy another one, still thinking of buy one at another place. They promise me my IHG time share points would be sell in less then a year 2 years ago. Up until now I still own my time share. They got to me because I was upset IHG sold me the property without disclosure details like my maintenance fee will go up every year. My points if I don't transfer them in to the IHG account will expire in 1 year and if I transfer the I lose a big chunk of them plus $79 transfer fee. I was furious. I went online and I just called the first number it came up on the search. They asked me $2000 and I was so stupid I gave it to them so not only I'm stuck with my timeshare but I also lost the $2000 on top of it. I went back for an Owner presentation to complain about the stuff they did not disclosure and they said I'm stuck with my property forever because they will never sell it. LEGAL SCAM...The USA law should not allow that.

The company contacted me and they resolved the issue. They were very fast and kind.

I was swayed into marketing my Diamante Resort or/ Diamante. Dunes Resort by the Time Share Resales Division of Occidental Vacation Club (OVC) when we purchased a timeshare with them, and received a credit for trading in our Diamante Dunes Executive Suite to lower their asking price. Timeshare Resale Division handled the transfer and obligation over to SMTS - Worst decision I ever made - I would get emails of interested parties (about 6) but only once got an email that they had decided against the purchase.

I was skeptical at first on purchasing a timeshare through this online site. However, not only did they secure the timeshare I wanted they also arranged for me to purchase the following week from the same family. I was kept up to date on each step that was progressing along the way. Sell My Timeshare folks did everything right and really exceeded my expectations. I could not be happier.

I recently purchased points from a timeshare owner that was looking to move on from their ownership. SMTN was able to provide me with the necessary assistance to allow this purchase to take place. This was my first experience with this type of purchase and I was very skeptical from start to finish. I must say that every step of the process as explained to me in detail was exactly the way things eventually worked out. The process does take some time but be patient and the results will be positive. This is a legal process so the proper steps need to be followed.

I reached out to one of their affiliates and was ultimately referred to Sell My Timeshare Now. They came back with some ridiculous prices of what my unit was worth. The value they came up with was 7 or 8 times the current market value. I asked, do you have any recent sales to support that value. Their answer was no but we had a lot of offers for your type of unit. Really? They felt very confident that I would get a lot of offers in that price range but I had to layout $1300 in order to list my timeshare week. I’m not sure I believe any of the reviews on here that seem to be so glowing. You would be better off listing it on eBay or RedWeek, which is what I’ll end up doing. Do yourself a favor stay clear and you’ll save a lot of money.

I was very pleased with the sales people I worked during the process. Jonathan ** was very patient with me when trying to sort out the point systems and getting the correct points to him that he was able to use. I felt swamped with paper work at times be think for the most part every thing turned out well.

As a buyer of a timeshare, I did have positive experience in regards to the purchasing of a Hilton Grand Vacation Club. It took about 60 days from end to end and then was able to make my first vacation booking. I did hesitate at the beginning since ratings at BBB were low however someone pointed out the fact the Timeshare Closing Services company was truly dealing the closing and they have very good rating. That eased my anxiety.

They convince you that your timeshare is worth a lot more than it is ($19,999.00). Of course, if you can sell it within limited time for a higher price, you'll get your money back. No chance of that. I advertised mine in March of 2018 and other than the first two standard messages I received from them, I hadn't heard anything. Only within the last two months or so has someone contacted me about selling for somewhere around $2,000. Of course after that, paying annual maintenance fees, etc. I'd come out in the hole. I've requested my ad be discontinued as of today. If you notice on the review ratings, the four+ star ratings are for those people that buy the timeshares, not for those selling them.

I decided to use SMTN so I didn't have to worry about someone trying to take advantage of me during the sale of my membership. Well, someone DID take advantage of me and that was SMTN. When I initially spoke with Sebastion he told me it would cost $800 dollars to sell my membership. I asked if, once I listed with them, they took care of everything and I would hear from them when the sale was complete. He assured me that was how it worked. However, other agents called me frequently with "offers". One for $1!!!! I finally settled on $1500 but there was a "settlement" cost of $750(?)

After researching several timeshare selling companies I decided to go with so my timeshare now. I paid an upfront fee of $2500 and they listed my timeshare as they promised. After one year I have had no bids on my timeshare even though I dropped the price several times. They even had the nerve to call me and tell me that they could legally take the timeshare out of my name for another $2500. I could have kept it and paid the maintenance fees for another five years for that amount of money! Don’t waste your time or money with this company. It may work for you but it did not work for me.

Almost one year ago, I called and spoke with a representative who helped me set a price and told me to keep an eye on my email for offers. I paid 1,200.00 for this "service". Since then I have lowered my price 3 times, each time being promised that this price was the right price for potential buyers. To date I have not received a single offer and am out my 1,200.00. I should have trusted my gut which told me this was a complete scam. I am going to contact law enforcement and the Attorney General's office as well as the press. This has to be illegal. I do not care if I have to use another 1,200.00 to take out ads or rent a billboard. I will get the word out. No matter what it takes! One year with NOTHING!! This is WRONG!!

After recently completing a purchase of a Hyatt Residence Club timeshare unit through SellMyTimeshareNOW (SMTN), I'd give SMTN high marks for their significant role in the process. My rep Owen was a very friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive agent for the company; the complete closing process, albeit longer than I expected (SMTN did warn me about how the process might take 3-4 months -- and it did!!), was on point and went as planned. I followed their guidelines to get the $599 rebate check -- which they sent promptly as agreed. If I am looking to purchase another time share week -- which I hope to :) -- I'll definitely consider working w/ SMTN again.

My wife and l put our timeshare up for sale. Looking at other timeshare they said its value was $25,000. I said we will price it at $1500.09. She said that's very aggressive. Paid the fee up front. Months went by and we starting lowering the price. Finally priced it at $99.00. They called and said that they aren't selling because there are good deals to rent. Asked me if we would be interested in getting rid of it using an outfit that sort of gets you divorced from Diamond Resorts. He said it would cost us approximately another $2500.00 US on top of what we already paid them which was over $2000.00 US. I suggest staying away from SMTN.

Although the process was longer than we would have hoped for, the fact that we were able to sell this timeshare in this down market at all satisfied our needs to be released from the continued payments for a property we had no intention of using.

I am very pleased with the job Bunny did for me! I saw an attractively priced ad on the website and sent an inquiry. Bunny reached out to me promptly and we talked briefly about what I was interested in. Turns out the property in the ad I saw was already under contract, but Bunny located a similar (higher priced) listing, contacted the Seller and negotiated for the same price I had seen before contacting me again. We were trying to sell our timeshares for Shell Vacation Club in Hawaii & California club locations. Originally told by salesperson that sale will be a snap for such hot locations. 8 months later, not a single response. We have cut the prices to 1/10 of original ask and still no responses. It's unbelievable reading some of the other positive reviews about this business. No one is available or reaches out to help. When I called and asked, was told all responses will come through the ad portal. At the point now where we are ready to dump this or donate to charity as it doesn't appear this is a legit business. Just googling and searching about selling timeshare properties tells a very sad story. We should have done that before we paid money to this company to try to sell it. Very disappointed with this experience.

My wife and I were very pleased with our recent purchase. The friendly no pressure tactics are much easier than the high pressure games that go on in timeshare presentations. Don't be fooled by agents that say you must buy from them to get all the benefits they offer. These resale points are a great value and get us to the same resorts as the high price presentation sales. All the transactions were able to be done through emails or faxes for a very easy and enjoyable experience.

Bunny ** was wonderful! I had purchased from Wyndham directly in the past, and since this purchase I will never buy direct again! Bunny found us the perfect timeshare and was so friendly and helpful. The only reason for 4 stars is that the process took several months, and the title company didn’t send Wyndham information that my maintenance fees were paid, and title company also never sent the deed of trust to me. Overall it was a good experience and I’d buy again, just maybe ask for a different title company.

My mistake, was prepaying anything prior to a sale. I was duped into selling my Timeshare with SMTN about a year and half ago. I continually had the lowest price on the market and was unable to get an offer. I finally received an offer through a Time Share Broker to sell the Timeshare at a loss, not even recovering my realtor fees. Yet, it is near impossible to get Customer Service to answer the phone. Clearly SMTN only wants your fees upfront and could care less if you sell your Timeshare. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! You have been warned.

I bought into their sales pitch that they would sell my timeshare and they would keep in touch with me. Once they got my money, 7 months ago, they have disappeared!!! No contact or activity on selling my timeshare. They made some generic ad that is the same as every other ad on their site and called it good. Would have been better off keeping my money in the bank.

SellMyTimeshareNow and all the other places like it are the biggest scam next to the actual timeshares themselves. They basically take advantage of people that have already been taken advantage of by the sellers of timeshares. They see you are in a desperate place trying to you get the timeshare out of your name, so they sell you on the ability for them to help you sell your timeshare. But only after you pay them some money first. So if you're interested in losing another $975.00 for nothing, which is what they charge upfront for nothing, then go right ahead.

I have had my timeshare listed with SMTN for 2 years. I have Lowered my price several times, now priced at what I spent to list it. And still nothing, they talk a good game but will do nothing to sell your timeshare. Very disappointed customer!

Some people on this site have waited much longer than I have, but after 10 months of listings and lowering my offer price by 70% off the original price I've had enough. I have not received one offer, not even a low ball price. When you call they sure are nice enough to change wording, lower the price and even say they'll get your timeshare to the top of their listings, whatever that means. I feel pretty stupid for trusting this company. Tons of false promises and no results. They should never charge a upfront fee! SMTN should get paid only if they sell your timeshare. Buyer beware!!!

I’ve had my 3 timeshares for sale over 2 years, have not sold and do not have any contact, unless I call, from Sellmytimeshare. Expensive to sell, and still hanging... Should have not gotten involved. Beware, my timeshares are Cabo, PV and Cancun. Loved having them but age has crept up.

I hope I am wrong but sure feels like a hollow company with two guys and a computer in a dumpy apartment somewhere.

What a racket and SellMyTimeshareNow is at the top of my list. Shortly after listing my timeshare I received what is probably an automatic notice that someone had inquired about my timeshare and their team was right on it to determine the interest in the property. Never heard another word. Follow-up is horrible. I want to reduce the price but cannot get a hold of anyone to even do that. Absolutely non-responsive. Once they get your money, they are off to find the next sucker. They are not actively trying to sell your timeshare as promised. They are just putting it up on their website. They are just working hard to get someone else to give them money with false promises. I can't believe I fell for this. Do NOT list your timeshare for sale or rent with this outfit. You will just be throwing your money away.

I was "handed-off" to this company from another online company offering to buy my timeshare. These guys have a very slick sales process (show you a video, etc). Then they provided me with estimates of how much they can sell my timeshare for that were ridiculously high. Then they hit you with a ridiculous fee for them to do an online listing ($2,000-$2,600). I feel badly for folks who don't do due diligence and research what their timeshare and an online listing is really worth. One of their top competitors (RedWeek) offers basically the same services (with the same online visibility and SEO results) for $59-125.

Hi: As of many of you, I also paid nearly $2,000 dollars for their advertising sales service on November 2018. To date May 2019 I haven´t received any inquires, offers or anything at all. It's been six months and nothing. They told me I was going to be able to sell it in three months tops. Now I find it to be a scam, so I propose to everyone in my situation or similar, to come together and sue them in a class action to be fully refunded plus other personal damages and all legal expenses. I use their service on 2017 and make an agreement with E. **. He told me that he will help to follow up if there is buyer. It has been almost 2 year and there is no follow up even once. I call and leave a message even send an email but no response at all. They contact you and help you until they get the money. They got the money and they will leave you without any progress. I still have all the email and massage with E. ** until now for the record. Really poor in service and since they ignore me, I guess they are scammer, so be aware and careful with fake review.

I paid the fee for listing and was assured that the people who discredit this site were just not decreasing the price and that was why they gave bad reviews. It turns out that the people saying that SMTN cannot help, are correct and SMTN are just taking your money. I had a timeshare in St Thomas at the Marriott. No one wants timeshares; Deed it back to the management company and save yourself some money.

I have 2 timeshares, one in Branson, MO and one on Mille Lacs Lake in MN. After giving SMTN (SellMyTimeshareNow) several thousand dollars many years ago, and dropping the prices to a ridiculously low level, all we hear is promises of selling. Do not count on the BBB as a credible source either. If you were looking to buy a timeshare SMTN does not advertise to where anyone could easily find a timeshare to purchase. In short, they take your money and you get an empty promise in return.

Very complete and professional with listing my timeshares. Made timely changes when ask and were updated within 24 hours. Follow up is very good and you do not have to get back with the same representative when making changes. Good service from start to finish. Very complete with the sales which resulted in 3 of my 5 timeshares being sold. Good job.

Very responsive to both phone and emails. Although a sale didn't happen quickly (not expected due to product), there were several "bites" that were quickly followed up on. Sale was seamless and all staff efficient and competent. Would highly recommend their company and service.

I spoke with a salesperson at SMTS. They sold me on results. I received 2 emails with interest then nothing else. I paid $1400.00 for nothing. I still have this timeshare that I don’t want. I feel I was duped by this company. You’re better off just walking away from the timeshare than putting more money into it.

I contacted SMTN to sell my HGV timeshare in March 2017. They analysed my timeshare and finally gave me a price indication at which I could sell my timeshare: This was simply a lure. I actually paid around $1,500 to put my timeshare on their website, setting the price slightly lower than their advice, but it turned out I got no offer or contact with them. 2 months later, I then decided to decrease by almost 50% the selling price (and they correctly updated it on their website), but still got no offer. My advice: Do not trust them, as prices are way above the market to simply get you in.

Updated on 09/18/2019: This is a second update of an earlier review where I said that you shouldn't spend your money with SMTN because they oversell what they can do for you. Following my last review, there was a flurry of communication and activity from SMTN, and my timeshare has been for sale for $1 for a number of months. It remains true to me that if there is no market for your timeshare, then SMTN can't create one.

I feel like I paid $1700 for a glorified Craigslist ad. So far two expressions of interest and one offer of $200.00! That does not even cover the maintenance fee of $800 and I left the 2019 booking open for the new owner to book. It is a floating oceanfront red week at a premium resort and I’m currently asking a reasonable $3500. I feel duped. The SMTN agent suggested listing at $16,500 when I listed in early January. A far cry from $200! No results after 3 months. So far I’m not impressed to say the least!

From beginning to end the entire SMTN team was totally professional and courteous. Not only would I recommend someone, but I have also already recommended a friend of mine to SMTN. The only thing I would recommend, that I would be given a little more info on how long it takes to get your final check, once you have a buyer. I definitely would use them again. Thanks for the great service.

A few days ago I talked to a gentleman in Customer Service regarding questions & concerns with selling my property through SellMyTimeshare. I was impressed with the amount of time he took in listening to my questions & how thoroughly he answered them respectfully. It was a pleasure talking to this gentleman because it was very apparent to me he genuinely cared. No doubt I will deal with Customer Service again regarding the sale of my property & I look forward to dealing with them again.
