Our Marriott timeshare was a great experience but after 15 years and our children grown it was time for my wife and I to start the next chapter. While I'm unhappy that a representative of their company mislead me at the beginning of my listing, Richard has been very transparent since, which I do appreciate. While I'm still waiting for an offer, I'm confident that Richard and Rebecca will do all they can to help facilitate the sale of my timeshare.

Sell My Timeshare Now fraudulently represents the success of its services and sales. While the salespeople cannot tell you what price to offer they make suggestions based on location and time of year. After paying my fee of almost 1500 where I was almost guaranteed at least an offer I made some follow-up calls because there was no activity... none. I was met by curt answers and the comments to just hang in there... we're in prime season, it's going to happen. Something didn't seem right so I started to do my research. I phoned and spoke with the Customer Service Manager.

Going in was worried about selling my timeshare based on radio ads. These Professionals, SellMyTimeshareNow.com, made it very easy, sold as forecasted in 90 days at a price forecasted at the start. Great experience and would highly recommend based on market knowledge and professionalism.

I had an issue with my advertisement with SellMyTimeshareNow and after speaking with several customer support specialists it went to their Account Manager and Customer Solution for a resolution. Not only was he very concerned about my issue with his company and offered satisfying resolution, but he agreed with my suggestion and complaints about the company's business practice. I hope the company will accept their customer's suggestion and concern and improve their business practice, maybe I will come back as a customer in the future.

In 2000 we purchased what was then a timeshare in Maui at Embassy Resorts Int'l on Kaanapali Beach. The condo fees were doable when we began, but ramped up quickly as the years went by. We have not been able to use it since 2006. I somehow got hood-winked into listing with SMTN, by first talking to someone else that was interested in the property for Corporate purchase. Once we talked, she said mine was not one they could purchase; so via 3-way call she got me to SMTN.

They took my money, promised results, and I never heard from them again. I initiated all contact throughout this 2-year relationship. I'm out $1,500 and still own a timeshare paying monthly maintenance fees. Still searching for that company that can help me exit this timeshare hell.

I contacted the company to get rid of my timeshare Harborside at Atlantis Bahamas. I got the very positive response. The company was constantly in touch by emails. Finally all the paperwork is done and closed the deal. I was very happy. I will recommend this company.

SMTN is an outstanding company, at first I was a little hesitant to do business over the phone when it comes to my money. You couldn’t ask for a more honest, professional, organized company in the business. My agent has been awesome, SMTN is blessed to have an employee like her. I purchased my first timeshare back in February, the way I was treated was so great I decided to buy another one. As of today I’m working on my third one, I cannot find anything negative to write about. I would call my agent my friend and the company is rated #1 in my book.

SellMyTimeshareNow is a rip off! They asked me to pay 2400$ and I was assured that on an average that I can get rid of this timeshare in 6 months. I was so hopeful, but these guys never ever followed up. I kept downgrading my points every now and then to get rid of this, and yet they haven't even had the courtesy to respond. I have been calling them, it goes to voicemail, and never received a callback. I have been emailing them, and I receive a one word answer saying,, "We do not have any update."

The agent had a good follow up to close the deal. He was able to answer questions. He would return my phone calls on a timely manner. I also received credits for timely closing. Escrow process was handled professionally. The only drawback was the resort taking their sweet time to confirm the sale and move on!

The girls in the timeshare broker services dept were outstanding getting the paperwork done in a timely manner and always there to answer any questions and to return phone calls. In the beginning they were nice and professional. We had several conversations before I decided to place my trust and money with SellMyTimeshareNow (SMTN.com). After that I never heard from them again. Then after months of waiting I just defaulted on the timeshare. A waste of $1480 on SMTN. Before you give SMTN your money look at all the listings on their website that are just sitting there and have been for ages.

This company contacted me numerous times... dropped price. Drop from $3,000 to $2,000 for two timeshares. I have lowered my price...now they are telling me that they just track “inquiries”... was told originally that our properties were worth much more. I priced very low and have lowered the price. Big misrepresentation on what they were going to do for me. Don’t do it.

I would highly recommend SMTS for selling your timeshare. They did a great job in selling my Four Seasons week. They were very professional, seem to have a great understanding of the market and have a good inventory of potential clients. I would certainly use them again.

Working with this company and their Brokers has been great. They are knowledgeable and do a great job of bringing in buyers. I sold my timeshare at Marriott Mountainside at the full asking price. They helped with the closing and were very responsive to questions that I had as we went thru the sale and the Marriott review process.

We were told when listing our Timeshare and paying for this service that they would HELP with the sale and it would take 1-3 years. That was in 2010. We have had no movement but they have asked for more money for advertising. WORST EVER!!! Stay away. This is a scam at best. Thoroughly disgusted.

After the initial set back and upon expressing our dissatisfaction over here we received a call from a Quality Service/account executive. Can not name him for privacy reasons but he explained the process from his point of view who happens to be a licensed real agent and understood the timeshare industry really well.

It was far long time for us to sell our timeshare and a simple Google search pulled up the SellMyTimeshareNow website. Skeptical on anything to do with timeshares, I hesitantly called and spoke to an agent who fully answered all my questions including "Why should I trust you?" He was able to explain the history of SMTN and refer me to sites to check out SMTN's credibility. Everything checked out and we started the process on getting the timeshare sold. I was able to call customer service and check in on the status of my account and talk about any updates or changes that should be made to my add to make it more attractive. We listed our Valdora Timeshare with SellMyTimeshareNow, and we may have received advice to list it at a much higher price than it could apparently sell. When we finally realized we needed to lower our price to match what was selling, we began to get some action on our timeshare and from there, things went pretty smoothly.

For a fee, my timeshare Woodstone at Massanutten was listed for sale by SellMyTimeshareNOW, LLC. All hits and any offers were reported to me. Bottom line is that the website is popular among realtors and the prospective purchasers of timeshares. If anyone want to sell their timeshare, consider advertising with SellMyTimeshareNOW, LLC.

Ok. My experience is from the sales pitch. We did not fall for it. We had been in contact with another company that buys timeshares and ours did not make their cut, so they recommended SMTN to market our timeshare to sell on the open market. The representative had us watch their video then spoke to us about what they could do and what it would cost us. She did not promise how fast it would sell, but stressed that now is the peak time. What I am giving a 1 star for is for another outright lie. She told us they only had one unit comparable to ours that was listed for $24900. She told us they had received many offers for it with one being within $500 of asking price. This was a red flag.

From start to finish the process was very straightforward and transparent. After creating my ad/profile I simply responded to inquiries as they posted to me and ultimately the offers to purchase my timeshare. The sales group at SMTN helped me navigate the sales process, title transfers, etc., and communicated with me throughout the process.

This is an upgrade of my previous review of SMTS.com. After my previous review an upper management called me to help with my request. Over the last 6 months I was able to get out of my Timeshare in Cancun. Basically I gave it away and included 100,000 points. I did not have to pay for closing costs. At least I don't have to pay any more maintenance fees. I am happy with their assistance.

Total BS website for rentals. Advertised a rental in Oceanside, CA. I inquired. Never received a response. When I called they stated that "sometimes owners advertise and it can take years to delete the ad". Then they tried to sell me a timeshare. Really SMTN. Try being honest.

Paid $1800 and don't get any offers, though I'd low-balled the cost (according to SMTN). Eventually contacted my credit card company who refunded the 1800 (6 mos. or more after orig. purchase). SMTN didn't even dispute. They'd not taken down my ad so I called to complain and was then advised (likely BS) there were so many offers, they thought I was calling to thank them. I HAD NEVER BEEN ADVISED OF EVEN ONE OFFER! DO NOT GET SCAMMED! Save your money! DO RESEARCH!!!

A customer service agent helped us resolve our troubles we had from how "good" the salesguy was. Our timeshare never got 1 offer. Although we aren't 100% happy, I am pleased with how the CS agent was able to listen to our problem and help us the best he could.

My wife and I were attempting to sell our timeshare on our own with little success so we looked into some timeshare sale companies. Most offer the same promises of a quick sale due to their excellent advertising campaign. We decided to go with SellMyTimeshareNow because they did not put a time stipulation on the our deposit to employ them. It took a little while to find the right buyer but we got a great price on the sale and more importantly, we are not under the burden of the ever-increasing timeshare maintenance fees.

I was promised that my timeshare would be sold in 3 months, given the asking price and location. I believed the Rep. I took money from my retirement to pay upfront cost. After they got my money, the Rep was no longer available to speak to me, I was handed off to customers service. Never received an inquiry re my property. I feel as if they made a fool of me. Lesson learned, don't get sucked in by sales promises. Wish I had read BBB first.

We have decided to look for a timeshare resale after staying at the Divi Phoenix Aruba in the summer of 2015. After returning to the USA I had found SMTN.com just by doing a google search. I sent a inquiry about one of the listing and got a call back from one of the sales agents. He was very helpful and really listened to what I needed. He was able to find a resale at the resort we wanted for a price that worked for us. The closing team did a great job, all I had to do is follow the steps they provided and we had a timeshare in about 6 months. We have been very happy with our purchase, we are going to Aruba in a few weeks on using our timeshare for a second year. If you are looking to buy or sell a timeshare, I highly recommend SMTN.com.

Without the help from SMTN I am not sure if I could have sold my timeshare unit. Being Canadian and so far away it makes this task very difficult, with the help of SMTN most of the work was done for me. The only note I would highlight would be for the agent to know more about selling from Canadians, the tax that is charged approx. 35% has to be claimed through our Canadian Revenue.

TWO YEARS my property has been on the market! I was assured it wouldn't take very long at all because my property was in high demand! I finally succumbed to the high pressure sales tactics-calling me numerous times a day. They painted such a beautiful picture of their company & what they could do for me! Their upfront fees were exorbitant but They promised I would be out of property in no time! I have had ZERO responses to my ad & I've dropped the asking price down almost 75% & still nothing! Not even a ridiculous offer - not even a view on my ad. WHAT A JOKE THIS COMPANY IS!

We listed our Hilton Grand Vacations Club at the Flamingo 2-bedroom, Platinum unit with SMTN in March, 2017. The listing process was clear and relatively easy. After a month we received an inquiry which did not develop to an offer. We modified the wording on our ad twice and reduced our listing price twice. Each modification was handled efficiently by the SMTN Customer Care Team. At the end of July, 2017 we received a second inquiry which ended in a purchase offer. While the offer was well below our listing price, we were highly motivated to sell this timeshare. Thus, we accepted the offer.

After previous failures at attempts to sell the Timeshare and throwing good money after bad, I was hesitant to do so again. I was pleased how the sale (Sale of Grand Waikikian) was handled. It takes about 4 months for the closing and sale once an offer is accepted so if you want to sell your timeshare, it won’t be the next day with any company. But this company kept me abreast of any changes and would advise on what to do if asked. I will be using them again.

The Company SellMyTimeshareNow contacted me few days after this post. They said sorry for the inconvenience of not being able to answer me right away. They offered me some options to try to minimize all the troubles. So, I can say that the SellMyTimeshareNow have tried to minimize all the troubles caused. After the event that happened between me and SellMyTimeshareNow, I see that the SellMyTimeshareNow goes after you to try to understand the circumstances that happened to you, and they try to solve your problems. They are always calling me or sending me messages to try to understand if everything is going well for now on.

SMTN has finally resolved my concern. My case was escalated to the management lever but overall I am happy with the result. I would highly recommend them. Very professional management to deal with.

I wanted to share how great team helped me out to sell my Timeshare. They were always in reach (email or phone) and they worked hard to get the best value out of my Timeshare. It took me almost a year to sell it out and we worked together to lower cost gradually in order to move the sell quicker. The information and status flow was good. The closing service was excellent considering my own tardiness. I would suggest some form of communication at the listing and inactive stage; I have a three bedroom unit for sale and would like to have input on its status.

My condo has been on their listing for over a year, with no inquiries whatever, even though I've lowered the price again and again. When you call, you can't get the same person again, and the new person doesn't know what happened previously when you called, which is frustrating. They should have one person who is your "contact" or "agent" to maintain consistency. Also, they can't even tell you how many people clicked onto your ad and looked at it. I build websites and that's easy to do. There's no excuse for not having those stats these days.

I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome of my dealings with SMTN. The person I worked with was professional and efficient during the process. The process took a bit long, but I was made aware that it could and he was available throughout the duration of the sale. I came into the opportunity with little confidence that it would work out. However, my end result was extremely better than I expected it to be. We sold the unit and I no longer have a maintenance fee to deal with. I would recommend SMTN team simply because they did what they said they were going to do. Which as we all know, does not happen much in this industry.

PLEASE understand that my subject line (above) does not reflect on the first rate job that my SMTN Contact (Lordes at extension **) provided. This experience has been very frustrating to both Lordes and myself as the sale dragged on for 8 months thanks to the buyer's wife "screwing around". I'm glad it is now behind me. AND if weren't for Lordes constantly hounding the buyer without reminders from me, the sale would never have happened. Thanks again, Lordes.

They take your money up front so people don't research them first. Then answer your emails for a while. They convince you not to lower the price of your timeshare for a while, so they can make this last longer. Eventually they stop answering your emails, and you're out $1,800.

Do not use this company! I had them all over me with promises when thinking of signing up, but once my monies were paid the communication has stopped (no replies to emails or messages) and they have not delivered in any way.

Listed with SellMyTimeshareNow in February. They were very convincing and seemed like they knew what they were talking about. We were told we had a very attractive timeshare property and it would not be too long before the offers came in. We PAID their seemingly high up front fee and our property was listed. It is now the end of September and have not had one inquiry or any contact from the company at all!!! They just took our money and basically disappeared. We called one time in June and they suggested a lowering of the price which we did... same results. Nothing. We were also told not to use the property at all after listing. End result... have not used the property, no inquiries on the property and we are out $1800! RUN from this company.

Okay, so I really changed my mind about this company! A manager called me, heard me out,,,let me vent and yell! She was great. Told me that she would take care of me! I immediately felt better. God bless this woman! Now I am feeling so much better about this company. I have a renewed sense of hope...thanks to this sweet woman!!! Thank-you!!!

I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical at first, but I really wanted to get rid of my timeshare week and I didn't know any other way to do it. I paid the fees to list with SellMyTimeshareNow, fully expecting it was possible I'd be stuck with my timeshare forever. The listing went up, I had a few inquiries on my condo and it sat on the market for a month or so. I eventually dropped the price (and they were really easy to deal with making changes to the ad), and it sold! I wasn't getting my hopes up until the title transferred. But that process was just as smooth, and I am rid of my timeshare. I have to say it was super easy. I was happy to pay a small fee to be free from it. Overall it was a small price to pay when you consider someone needs to make money on the sale and all the title transfer work.

From the first day I contacted the Sell My Timeshare Company, I was treated as I was their sole customer. I received one-on-one treatment every step of the way, from the initial order processing, their web marketing data, the bidding from prospective buyers to the closing services. My only frustrating aspect was the length of time it took to actually fund the deal as the local recording agency seemed to take forever. This was not the selling agency's fault as they had no control over this aspect of the sale. I have already recommended the firm to 2 friends.

The process was straightforward and the assistance was very good. Timeshare resale is poorly managed: Wow, reading all the reviews is quite disturbing - half the reviews are 5 star - couldn't have been better and the other half 1 star - terrible experience. I fall into the latter where my timeshare has been on the market with them for over 18 months now. I have resorted to emailing them very frequently and actually thinking of putting in the effort daily. I have already dropped the price 50% so in my mind a timeshare for someone who can actually can use it is a bargain on the system (if you can actually buy one through this company). I am not to fussed, I live overseas and will almost give it away if I get a feel good factor from anyone that would like to take it on, in the meantime I thought it good to put my two cents worth in to counter all the 5 star surprises.

I called SMTN a year ago asking them about my options. I own a Marriott Phuket Beach Club timeshare, which they said was a good value. They said I could expect to sell the timeshare in about 3 to 5 months depending on the asking price, and they estimated I would get between $10,000 and $14,000 for it. I didn't hear anything from the company for at least six months. Then I contacted them, and they said that I may need to lower the price to get offers. I did (it's now at $9,000) - still no offers. Not even one single information request! I think the whole thing is a scam. They have no incentive to sell, as they take the commission payment upfront. It's a complete waste of money. I'm surprised if I ever get rid of the timeshare.

I am very disappointed with this services. I think they totally inflated the advice on what my time share would sale for. They said that I paid they would market it to buyers both domestically and internationally. Apparently this means that they throw your timeshare on their website and forget about it. Our experience relates specifically to selling Bluegreen timeshare points via SMTN. We were contacted by a very nice salesperson, who valued our holding at about $16-20,000. As their fees for this were $6,000, they must have been very persuasive! However, you can easily research what similar things are being offered, and what they actually sell for. In our case (and I stress that yours may be completely different): the median price per annual point for similar listings was $1.25; SMTN suggested we go for a price per annual point of $1.43, which put us at about the 60th percentile. We therefore didn't think this is an 'aggressive' price (which is what we had been promised).

Spoke to ** who then passed me to ** who valued the time share at 17100£ but when I mentioned my mum was ill they decided we couldn't travel to office to complete sale but their partner company would happily get us out of the contract at high fees. Wonder who owns the timeshare then. Sounds very much like a dodgy company and don't believe the reviews about how quick people sold their timeshare through them. So my advice is don't pay this company a penny. Avoid them. They're parasites.

This company makes you think that you have finally found the way to get rid of your timeshare. They tell you that they sell thousands of them for people just like you. That they have so much success doing so. They even ask you what you want for your timeshare and then they tell you after looking at the market, you're pretty close to the market price and they should be able to sell it no problem.

I signed up to SMTN, paid the fee, listed my timeshares and have heard nothing in almost a year. I called them from overseas several times and didn't get a reply. I am concerned about this company. They want more to list it than what my timeshare is worth. This industry is so complicated and you never know who to believe. I have to admit it was not a great experience. I hope you have such a booming business that you can either deal with a client or not. First a name ** is a great liar! After he got my $1700+ to advertise my timeshare he never call me back. I had been looking to purchase a Timeshare since 2010, but the prices were totally outside of my budget. In 2016, my family and I began planning for Spring Break and lo and behold there was a three bedroom property, at the same resort as my brother with an affordable price. I was not sure if I would close in time to use it as it was February and I needed to close in March and use it in April.

After 6 or 7 months of no activity I receive an email from them stating they have an "organization" as a client that is willing to take my properties off my hands. Here is the catch. This "organization" will take the properties for free, as in I give them away to them plus I have to pay SellMyTimeshareNow.com $3,500.00 per property for closing fees, taxes etc. The salesman did state he would receive a modest commission of $50.00 as his payment. I was told that if I don't pay the $7,000.00 and take this offer now, I would probably never successfully sell my timeshares even though I paid SellMyTimeshareNow.com $1,996.00 to market the 2 properties for me.

The process was pretty simple. Everything was done over the phone and through email. There were a lot of forms to have notarized but that comes with it. All in all, it was a good experience.

With that in mind, on November 11, 2015, I paid the fee and listed it at $19,000.
