Representative told me they had a great relationship with my resort and it was a great time to sell. ZERO hits on the advertisement or contact from any representatives after the initial set up but plenty of phone calls from their affinity partners to see if I'm interested in putting out more money. I wish I had done better research and looked to Consumer Affairs for reports first before shelling out more good money after the initial bad investment.

I really enjoyed working with this Timeshare company. They were very responsive in a very timely manner. All my questions were answered and I was very happy with their service. I would definitely go through this company again. Also, everyone was very friendly who I dealt with, and I really appreciate it all the time people took making sure all the documents were in place and that I was informed every step of the way.

Don't use them, as they are misleading. I followed everything they said, lowering the price constantly, and starting out even lower than they suggested. No movement at all, no calls, no nothing. I asked for suggestions, nothing different than I was already doing, which they said would likely sell as a result. They were very encouraging, optimistic etc until I was locked in and paid, seeing no movement.

It was a big deal for me about selling my timeshare so I feel compelled write this review. I was approached by SellMyTimeshareNow company late last year. To my surprise, all my questions were answered to my satisfaction and the process of selling my timeshare was moving forward swimmingly. The entire team was efficient, informative and friendly. My timeshare was sold and all proceeds were in my bank account within 3 months. I was very pleased and would recommend to anyone wishing to sell their timeshare.

In June 2025 my husband and I purchased a timeshare from the SellMyTimeshareNow website. We were very happy with the process, it was so easy and the representative was professional, keeping us updated throughout each step. We have our deed in hand and ready for our new vacation spot! I have had my awesome Las Vegas property for sale with SMTN for years now!! Have sell price now got sale for $499!!! I get many emails stating people have looked at ad, but NO offers!!?? For sale $499 5 star Timeshare, can sleep 8 people easy and includes Whirlpools in unit, 4 large TVs, etc. Grandview At Vegas. Week 15.

I had an amazing experience with SMTN. They made it super easy to list my timeshare and reach the right buyer. We had a great experience purchasing/transferring points to add to our Wyndham timeshare. Daniela ** and Karen were both awesome to work with, they were very responsive and and kept us updated through the transfer process, which takes some time... which is out of their hands. Daniela checked in with us and made sure we were informed and addressed our concerns. Everything went smoothly, and we’d definitely work with them again.

SMTN had the resort, week, and type of room we were looking for. Our sales representative, **, was great. He worked with me and one of the owners with the deal and we thought it was all good to move forward. One of the other owners wasn't too happy with the offer and pulled out. SMTN refunded everything and we started looking for a similar unit. After a couple of months the original unit was back up for sale at a lower price and a little different terms so I reached back out to ** and he made it happen. I had an issue with lost paperwork getting back to the closing company but that was resolved quickly and everything was finalized right away. My new timeshare is in the system and ready to be used in 2026. If I'm ever in the market for another Timeshare I will definitely reach back out to SMTN.

I don’t believe any of these reviews…. Have had mine listed for two years with no offers. Then I get this email last month telling me they have an ‘opportunity’ for me. Turns out it’s a broker that essentially wants me to pay them to take if off my hands, telling me it’s worth $1.00. Also, SMTN is supposed to use my points once a year to rent it out and reimburse my fees paid. They did last year but when I inquired about it recently was told they couldn’t because I still owed some fee. I asked her to show me the statement because I received no bill in the mail or by email and their online it shows I owe nothing. She quit responding and of course never showed me proof that I owe anything.

I would like to compliment JoAnne at SMTN for always being available to help and answer my questions. She is not only very professional, she makes you feel like family and sticks with you until you are satisfied. She is definitely an asset to this business.

My spouse and purchased a 1 week timeshare at the North Villas in January 2020. We have used our floating week for the last few years with full satisfaction. Our family has grown and we decided to purchase another week at the same location. We were successful in doing that and became owners of the second week in May of this year. The purchase was relatively easy and smooth. We have already booked our holiday for August, and are going to our home resort on August 17. As a Canadian family we had some hesitation about this purchase given the current "climate"; however, we love our Hawaiian friends and made the decision to go ahead with our purchase. We are pleased with our purchase and consider it a legacy purchase to leave a week to each of our sons when the time comes.

After years of being stuck in a timeshare, I tried to "sell" it myself and it was a disasters, deeds and can't get ahold of the company. Bounced around "You can't do that." Within a couple short months I was finally not able to just get rid of that cashflow drain but actually got PAID to sell it. The process was easy, their fees were very transparent, and the communication was good, like very good. It's crazy because everything to do with timeshares is a terrible experience but with these guys it was a very positive one.

The hardest they will work is to get you to buy their service or especially to get you to renew after one year. They will mislead you into thinking they can sell it!!! After one year and dropping the price to next to nothing, I got exactly zero inquiries. I own my timeshare outright with no financing and they still found absolutely zero interest. After not renewing my ad they released my information to all timeshare exit companies, inundating me with phone calls from these really shady companies that prey on victims of the timeshare industry. You will feel the same experience of being completely lied to and taken advantage of as you did when you realized the long-term details of owning a timeshare. This whole industry needs to be shut down.

SMTN has mislead this client in the selling of my timeshare. I was on the phone with there salesmen for over 2 hrs before he dropped the contract price. I did give in only under the guaranties made by him that this would sell in a few months. It has been almost a year and no activity on my listing. Not even a hit. BE AWARE of this company. They do not deliver on their promises.

I attempted to sell my timeshare with them and they did not fulfill numerous amounts of promises. I recorded every phone call and have email records asking specific questions about if they work with you to monitor the pricing every so often and they said every 30 to 45 days, they would reach out and that never happened. The timeshare company ended up buying the timeshare back and now they refuse to refund the money. I paid them to sell the timeshare because they said I did not sell it to a third-party and I did not sell it for above or the asking price that they had it listed for. I have asked to speak to a customer service supervisor and to the owner through numerous platforms and they never get back to you. Do not spend $1698 having them sell your timeshare as they do not do a good job and they are a scam.

I can see that there are a lot of good reviews but not for me and some other people. My experience with these people has been very regrettable. I was having some problems 2 years ago and the grifting salesman Anthony ** took advantage of my situation, he lied and scammed me with incorrect information and I haven't had any offers in 2 years. They are liars. Even the gangsters Al Capone, El Chapo, Pablo Escobar did some good things for the citizens in their countries while they were terrorizing the world. So don't be fooled by the good reviews, maybe they are fake. The salesman's wife and kids should be proud of daddy bringing home money from scamming seniors on the internet. I was taken advantage of. They don't even return my calls anymore. The salesman should be convicted of fraud!!!!

They use deceptive practices to earn your business. When I was thinking about signing up they mentioned it was likely to sell in 6 months and it's been a year. Every time I call for an update all they recommend is for me to drop the price. They don't market or do much else but list it on their website and they won't give you your money back.

I used SMTN for the sale of my timeshare in Hilton Head. I received excellent service; they kept in touch via phone, mail and email regularly, I got a higher price than I anticipated and the business took place in a reasonable amount of time. I plan to use them again for the sale of another timeshare.

If I could give SMTN zero stars, I would. My partner and I were newly postpartum and looking for a legitimate way to sell our timeshare. After being bombarded with marketing emails about their Maintenance Fee Protection Program, we finally called in. The salesperson was incredibly friendly, reassuring, and made us believe this was a smart investment. They promised that our HOA fees would be reimbursed as long as our listing was available, and that similar listings were selling “left and right.” It all sounded great—so we paid $2,400 to list our timeshare, thinking we’d get that back (and more) within a year.

This company lures timeshare owners with grand promises of quick sales and guaranteed buyers, only to leave them with zero results and $4,500 lost. False Promises and Deceptive Tactics. They claim to have a network of eager buyers just waiting to purchase your timeshare, but as soon as they collect their hefty upfront fees, those buyers mysteriously disappear. You’re given a dashboard for “website hits” and “clicks” for you to believe their tricky scheme. You’ll be met with an excuse about the market and trends, other options than what you paid them to do, and empty reassurances, but no actual progress toward selling your property.

This organization is a SCAM. I spoke with Kaine ** on Friday 2/14/25 about selling my timeshare. He sent me information and told me he could sell my timeshare and said to start the listing at $12,000-14,000 and gave me this whole sales pitch. He said the fee was $2998 to list the property on their network and a bit more if I wanted their Platinum offer. I started googling sales of my timeshare during the conversation and saw that there were multiple listings on Ebay for my exact timeshare for $1. (We have had the timeshare for years.) Other networks didn't even list my timeshare. When I brought this to his attention, he started blustering and then intensified the pressure and started to become nasty. I told him I am not making a $3,000 decision in the moment. He said, "Why not?" I got off the phone.

I have had SMTN for sale over a year with no legitimate offers. I started at a selling price of 8 thousand and am basically giving it away for 500 dollars. I have not had a great experience. They told me when I signed up it would sell quickly. That's my experience.

Would I use them again? Yes. Why? The communication was good, quick, and helpful. Now that I know what I know, I'll ask better questions next time. Negatives? The initial statement of "this is what it will cost to close" did not match what I ended up paying by a fairly significant amount. (~$2000 more than expected, on an initial $7000 expected). Overall, though, what I was promised is exactly what I got and I didn't get the runaround.

I believe SMTN.com is great if you are looking to purchase a timeshare. However, selling one is a whole other issue. When I did my research on the company, most of their reviews were from buyers, and I found very few satisfied sellers. However, I gave them (erroneously) the benefit of the doubt as I reached out to them rather than they soliciting me. Initially, they told me in January that my unit was in demand and this was the time to sell (lie number 1), and then they told me what they thought it would sell for (lie #2), and then they reached out to me in 90 days (like they predicted they would) and suggested that I lower my price (which means the original price they recommended was too much.)

The price was great and the communication on how the transaction would play out was straight forward, clear and accurate. I could not imagine anybody given this company anything more than one star. I am speaking from experience. We paid them a large amount of money to sell our timeshare. They sent us a link afterwards that we could check. It was an absolute scam. All they did was list our timeshare And some local papers and that’s what they say is selling your timeshare. We never heard anything from them and when we would repeatedly call to question them on it they would give us the run and tell us keep in mind. It’s not season, the next excuses, kind of is changing slightly be patient, etc., etc. etc. We never got the slightest bite on our timeshare. We finally found a friend who wanted the timeshare. It is virtually impossible to get rid of a timeshare once you own it. I would strongly suggest everybody think 20 times before considering buying a timeshare.

I recently bought timeshares thru Redweek and sell my timeshare. The customer service was night and day. I constantly had to reach out to Redweek and am still waiting to complete the process while SMTN kept me constantly updated and made the process much more seamless. I would highly recommend posting a timeshare thru SMTN over Redweek.

When the timeshare finally sold the closing process was easy. The beginning of the process was opaque and somewhat misleading. I tried unsuccessfully to withdraw from the program, SMTN held strictly to their 10-day cancellation policy even though I presented them with what I believed to be misleading information at the enrollment stage.

I want to sell my timeshare. I attempted to contact HGV resales and HGV resales came up online. This company SMTN called me, instead. I thought this company was a direct 3rd party affiliate of my timeshare. They claim to give maint fees back. But, MUST use your timeshare points to book others, unknown to you. So, they would get their money back and you would book future vacations with them, if you elect to keep your money in the account. Well, No response was received, when I decided not to let them use my points! So, now I paid $3,995 and no one has reached out to my inquiries or status of my re-sale! I am out of this money with NO help at all! I am so hurt! I feel I got scammed! I will report to anyone I can to expose this company for lying to me.

When your company first called me, I heard them again, and I went through my due diligence, but your company sounded different somehow. I told the person I talked to I would NEVER send them any money, not even enough for a postage stamp, and they were fine with that, so we moved forward. Within a few months, I was holding a check in my hand. Everyone was exceptional on the phone and if my resort had moved a little more quickly, the money would have been faster! Your team, however, was EXCELLENT!

AWFUL. I put my timeshare up 6 months ago and have reached out so many times with zero response. So unprofessional. Paid 3k to list it and no hits or no contact from them since. I would not recommend to anyone actually wanting to get rid of timeshare.

Recently completed a purchase of a Hilton property. Started by searching the SMTN website. Found one I was interested in and responded to the ad. Received a response the next day and SMTN managed the whole process from there. Assisting with negotiating a sale agreement, coordinating the closing and activating my account with Hilton. Communication was very good during the process. Everything went smoothly. I would have no concerns in using SMTN again.

Closing and processing of the timeshare sale took several months, but the company was very professional. Someone was always available to help answer questions, or to find out the sale status, and especially to find out about processing the sale proceeds afterward, and sending out the money. I have found that SMTN customer care is unresponsive to both phone calls and emails, despite their promise to respond within 48 BUSINESS HOURS, a full 6 workdays. My timeshare has been listed since January, and I have heard absolutely nothing about it since then. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to ask for a refund of their fees.

I'm pretty confident that the majority of these reviews are fake and/or paid for. This site is just a scam, charging ridiculous fees with empty promises. I've had my timeshare on the site for >7 years without receiving a single offer. And the price has been lowered to almost nothing. I can't speak for the buying side of the business but I imagine it can't possibly be worse than the selling side so maybe stick to that side if you insist on using this company.

Total scam. Pretty convinced that the 5 star reviews on here are shams as well. It's been over a year and we haven't seen a single bite on our listing, despite many promises from the company, as well as dropping the listing price. SMTN is not helpful when you ask for guidance, either. You're paying for their expertise in this area, or that's what I believed. But it feels more and more like a money grab on their part. I know that there is no guarantee in the resale market, but I'm still paying for a service and expect a result or a refund. I feel like I've done all the work myself and am still getting nowhere.

This is the second time that I use SMTN.com to purchase a timeshare at an amazing price. The first time if you use back Ivonne timeshare in Breckenridge Colorado. We have used it every single year and are extremely happy with it. This year we did a preview at Westgate Smoky Mountains, and really enjoyed the location. Right away. I went and looked up available options on the site. I was able to pick up a bigger unit three fraction of the price they were selling at four on premises. The agents were extremely helpful and they willing to work with you.

Could possibly been due to offered price but had minimal help from SMTN deciding on advertised price. However by listing on SMTN outside parties discovered my interest to sell and SMTN was able to bring the parties together and eventual sale.

After an initial delay from submitting a request via SMTN to getting a response a few weeks later, the broker assigned to my request was successful in finding a seller to match with my offer. The rest of the process was mostly done via Timeshare Closing Services for the closing, and was all done via information sent via e-mail, needing to get notarized by a public notary, then mailed back. The whole process took about 10 weeks from initial communications, then 6 weeks through the start to completion of closing. Follow ups and responses throughout the process were helpful and timely. I've done a couple resale timeshare purchases via SMTN, all have gone smoothly.

I've read a lot of reviews of SMTN with varying experiences. My experience was a good one. I won't say my experience selling my timeshares was anything but frustrating, but it wasn't SMTN's fault. Most of my hassles were due to Marriott exercising right of first refusal and the extremely lengthy process of the entire ordeal (over 8 months). SMTN sold 3 of my timeshares in all. All 3 times, I was approached by them with a buyer without having to put out ANY money in advance. I know they also have a program to advertise your timeshare in advance of having a buyer, but I did not need to do this, so my experience was a better one. NO I did not get anywhere close to what I paid for them, but we got many many wonderful years use out of them, so we were ok with letting them go for less. I would use them again, but I won't have to! They sold all of mine. I would recommend them to a friend though!

I used Sellmytimesharenow to try and sell a couple of timeshares we had. They suggested a price that seemed reasonable for each unit. Now after years of the properties being listed, we haven't received a single offer greater than 20% of listed price. As well, they won't tell you what an offer is until you call them. I basically wasted $1,000.

We entered into this contract eyes wide open. We knew the resale market was a tough one and did not expect to make much at all. We just wanted out and this company was the one we chose. We paid one fee and out timeshare stayed up for over 3 years (through covid). Hilton also had our Hilton timeshare listed, but of course, showed no interest in really helping us. SMTN made any changes I requested to our listing. Got an offer and proceeded forward. Everything happened online except for one document that had to be notarized and mailed back to the mortgage company. DO NOT expect to make your investment back. Timeshares are not really an investment, they are a liability. SMTN are not realtors, they are brokers. They list your property in a market where timeshares owners can buy to increase their points values for a much cheaper price then the timeshares themselves offer. We are so happy to be out of our timeshare.

I have a condo in FL on Ormond beach and decided to buy a house there after a decade of owning a timeshare. I used this service starting in December 2022 and first rental of my condo occurred in early in March. Several weeks after the condo had been used I am still waiting on reimbursement for that use. Little under $900 is owed and no one is calling me back or answering emails. I have left multiple voicemails and sent many emails to direct contacts as well as customer service emails. It's silent.

Although costly to register and advertise my TS, I would assume that the sale commission would have came out of registration fee. All in all it was a smooth process, however, as it was a lengthy process I was kept up to speed whenever I requested an update. I contacted SellMyTimeshareNow to purchase a timeshare. I made inquiries regarding several listings on the site and was referred to Timeshare Broker Services. After exchanging a few emails, the broker stopped responding to me despite several emails and phone calls with expressions of interest in working with him. I was not able to progress further in the purchase process. Additionally, the stated closing costs were EXORBITANT: over $3,000 to be paid by the buyer for a single timeshare deed (typical closing fees for a timeshare sale transaction range from $300-$1,000). Charging such high closing fees does a great disservice to their would-be sellers, many of whom have already paid thousands of dollars to list their timeshares with the service. The company’s unresponsiveness and overly high fees prevented a sale transaction in my case.

We had a smooth purchase of two Vistana resales via SMTN. The rep was informative and professional, as was the closing and escrow service. It did take quite some time to finalize, due to the right of first refusal, title change and setup of our new Vistana account, but that was all forewarned by SMTN. I would use them again, and likely will.

In March 2022, I reached out to SellMyTimeshareNow.com in an effort to offload my timeshare. I spent the $1,900 to have my timeshare advertised on their site and within a week it was live. Based on the sales pitch, I thought it would take 3-6 months to sell. It's January 2023 and I haven't had a single lead or buyer contact me. Do not use more money with companies that are not honest. Do your research and hire an attorney, this company only wants your money.

Since I listed in early 2019 (3 years) and paid in advance, I haven't received a single inquiry, let alone an offer. NO FOLLOW UP from them except once to donate it. Reduced price multiple times, still no inquiry. Recently sent multiple emails and got no response. So, I called & reduced the price again to LOWEST in their Inventory of similar product. I am disappointed.

An acceptable result all things considered. I went into the process of selling my timeshare and knew I would never recover my initial expense. Put it on the market rock bottom and received several offers. The SMTN site does generate decent viewership but it’s hard to tell which offers are active or valid.

We received an email from SMTN on July 28 suggesting that perhaps "it was time for a consultation" and telling us "don’t get discouraged! There’s no guaranteed timeframe in which you will receive an inquiry or in which your timeshare will sell." We did call to talk to a Consultant who said we needed to be patient and she would "refresh" our ad .....

I was completely satisfied with my experience with SMTN. While I had my timeshare listed with them for several years in a tough market, when a viable buyer emerged, SMTN handled the negotiations and final sale to my ultimate satisfaction.

This was my second project with SMTN. The first was a timeshare in Palm Springs, CA which was on Indian property. Other TS sellers wouldn't want to work with the Indian tribe. SMTN did the job. I chose SMTN for the Las Vegas property because there were a couple thousand timeshares for sale in Vegas. First time ever buying timeshare and after plenty of research I knew buying direct from a timeshare was more expensive so We decided to go with resale. I was very nervous to have never done transactions online. Never seeing anyone but SMTN. Had all the answers and kept me informed each step of the way. It was easy and much quicker than I expected. Our salesperson had all the info on what to look for and what to stay away from.
