    I'm a technically illiterate single woman who lives alone. I can't fix anything on my computer by myself, so I figured it would be easier to have someone I could call or access on my computer to help me when I had issues.     I’m blind and I had problem with my computers. Everybody recommends Best Buy and the Geek Squad but one of my blind fellows in our company in Florida told me about Tech To Us. He said it's a great company in Connecticut, that they're reasonable and that these young fellows knew their stuff. I asked if it was like a scam because at that time, I had people calling me up claiming they were from Windows but Windows doesn't call. He said this company was down-to-earth and they've got a lot of people there 24/7, then he gave me their phone number.

    One of my neighbors took my computer and all the parts over to the local computer shop. To look at it was $95, and then they said if they go ahead and repair it, they would deduct $45 off towards the repair but it could take two hours. Instead, I picked up the phone number and called Tech to Us. I talked to the young lady there and the prices were very reasonable. The lady quoted me one price which was good for one month and then I could go on a monthly contract for $29. But she said if I didn't want to go ahead with that, she would cancel that and we could go on one shot. I would get a month to do whatever computers I needed so I did. I ended up paying $129 but that was for the total.

    They talked to me through it, then they asked if they could take a peek. They spent hours on the computers, remote controlling it. They said the Windows 7 machine has got a corruption in it somewhere. They analyzed it but there were no Trojans or Worms. They suggested to upgrade it to Windows 10 and I said okay so the technician did that. He reset everything and that took four hours but he didn’t spend that much time. We downloaded it then he took care of somebody else on the other line so they multitask between two or three different customers. After that was running perfectly, my other one which I use my reading program on started going goofy a week later. He went through that one and said I've got the 10.1 and we would upgrade that one too. Because I had to downgrade, I got the free upgrade, and I said okay.

    Microsoft couldn’t do anything on the disability end. They don’t have anybody here in the United States. Everything is farmed out overseas to Philippines and India, and I’m tired of that crap. The Microsoft here is in Seattle and they’re about a two-hour drive from where I live down in Mountain View and they can’t even do it. They're supposed to have a disability department but when you call them, you get the Philippines and you try to explain to them but they don’t even know what you’re talking about. So this Tech to Us people, they're fantastic and I'm going to make the payment and do it. They’re honest and professional. They know their stuff and I would recommend them to anyone. In fact, I recommended them to my neighbor down the street about two weeks ago. All-around performance with Tech to Us is 100% A+.

    In November 2017, I suspected my older Windows laptop had a virus. I reviewed several remote repair companies before contacting Tech To Us. When I initially spoke to a tech, he informed me that Tech To Us had an initial fee, with automatic monthly charges after that unless I terminated the service. The tech explained that Tech To Us services were good for all computers and smart phones in the house with no limits as to how often I could request service. Initially, I was apprehensive because my computer was by no means new and I would be the only one using the service. To date, I'd not any problems with my phone, so I wasn't sure a monthly charge was a good use of money when I could, instead, put that money towards a new computer.

    When I explained my hesitation, the Tech To Us tech informed me that I could cancel after even that first repair. When I considered that, I agreed and authorized service as the initial cost was what I expected to pay to have the computer fixed anyway. I'm very glad that I did. I was thoroughly satisfied with both their service quality and the quality of their customer care. I'm sure there was more than one problem with my computer and the Tech To Us staff spent a great deal of time working remotely on my computer. When they finished, my computer was running faster, loading faster and operating as it was supposed to.

    I will, and have, recommended Tech To Us to others. Their program is perfect for households with multiple computers and smartphones. However, for me, I'm still debating the value of paying every month as opposed to canceling and re-enrolling when I have computer/smart phone problems. Regardless of what I decide, I will still use Tech To Us for all future tech needs.

    I got scammed and gave the scammers my credit card number. I knew that giving out serious numbers can screw me up. So, I figured to call someone for help and contacted Tech to Us. Somebody picked up the phone immediately and I poured out my story quickly. The guys from Tech to Us told me that since I gave the scammers my credit card number, I might be stuck and told me what I should do and I followed through. They knew I was going to be out most of the afternoon so they called me back later that evening since I had an appointment. They again called me the next day to make sure that I was feeling okay and that everything seemed to be right. I hadn’t gotten any more telephone calls and free messages from wherever land it's coming from so I thanked them for their help. I appreciated the step by step instructions and I was fine.

    A month later, I was dashing along on my computer and all of a sudden, a message flashed at the screen saying that my computer has just been locked and to call the number shown. I wasn't going to do that again so I called my friend at Tech to Us and he walked me through on what I should do. I don’t have kids and my colleagues aren’t so close anymore since I'm retired, so I'm relying on a service, the calmness, the efficiency, the professionalism to which they answered all of my questions and gave me suggestions. Walking me through on what to do resonated with me.

    I took Tech to Us' basic plan since it suits my budget. I'll be more careful in the future and if I need to upgrade, I would do that. I was very pleased with Tech to Us. The idea when I was feeling a little stressed and when I started talking to somebody, although they didn't know who I was, they listened to my story.     I kept getting hit with viruses after viruses and was recommended to Tech to Us. I have the yearly plan and I pay it in advance. I have my grandson living with me and before he moved in, I contacted Tech to Us and told them to take off Facebook and so and so and do such and such. They did all of that for me and when my grandson asks why he can't get on a website, I tell him the computer must be broken. Teenagers in the house always have that friend who comes by and asks if they can log on. Tech to Us made it so there are certain places they can't go to on my computer.     Tech To Us has given me great peace of mind as a small business owner.     Tech to us is a great service. The people there are friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable, trustworthy and are willing and able to take that extra step to resolve the problem with your system. I will tell everyone that I deal with about Tech to Us and the great service they have. I give them a five out of five star rating system. I found them on the internet using google and typing in computer online support help. I've been using Iyogi as my service. From what I was told, they ran into some legal trouble and had to shut down their website. As far as I care, I do not, no love lost there. I would rather deal with an American company.

    Tech to us has been very helpful, in that they have solved and directed me to a solution every time. They are so patient with me when I call because I am so lacking in technology skills. I often feel bad that I tell them hold on or wait while I figure out what they are saying.

    Tech to Us is great. Mark was incredibly patient and helpful during a very long tech support call that solved all my problems. I appreciated his talented and friendly assistance. There was an issue where we couldn't figure out the password on a computer and he took me through all the steps to reconfigure the computer.
