Ashley Holland is the daughter of Clarence and Rose Holland, owners of High Desert Energy. Ashley is very disingenuous, unprofessional, and argumentative. Sold us a solar system that San Carlos Irrigation Project (SCIP), our energy company’s grid doesn’t support. When it was determined we required another unit it was not communicated and later learned we were supposed to sign a new contract as all other homeowners in the same situation had done. There was no revised contract and the Holland’s claimed they paid extra out of pocket to revise a plan we never approved or even knew was required.

We were told we would no longer have an energy bill, only a service fee from SCIP for $10-$15 per month which wasn’t true. We were told we would receive a walk through on how to operate the system and that didn’t happen nor did they tell us additional breakers were installed and parts of the home wouldn’t have power in the event of an outage because we were purchasing a whole house system. This too was untrue. All information provided was proven to be false after the point of scam. High Desert Energy in Queen Creek uses Sunlink Energy in Scottsdale as an installer. Tucson Old Pueblo Credit Union (TOPCU) financed the project and merged with ICCU. The original transaction for our solar project was funneled through so many companies and no one actually realized how deep this scam goes.
