2. Proposal: Elek Solar writes a proposal to outline system size, timeline, costs and savings options.
3. Installation: The company installs panels based on the approved design.
4. Inspection: A final inspection is conducted for quality assurance.

In addition to solar panel installation services, Elek Solar offers ongoing maintenance and support. Solar panels require minimum maintenance. Regular professional cleaning and checks help with panel longevity and efficiency.

Because solar panel projects are highly customizable, pricing varies. The cost per watt varies from $2.39 to $3.66 at the time of publishing. This totals between $14,321 and $21,960 for an average 6-kilowatt (kW) system. This is before the federal tax incentive, which is a 30% tax credit.

Financing
