I called customer service as I received the wrong item. I live an hour away from the store and was told to donate the item and I would receive a credit in the mail. A month later and nothing. I call and they tell me to return the item they told me I could donate. I have been a Kohl's MVC card holder for 20+ years. Time to change stores.

Bought a $200 vacuum on Black Friday, never received it. Called, emails, chat, texted, Facebook them for a month. They kept telling me I was getting my refund. Finally they tell me in Feb, which is 3 months later I need to make a police report and then they will think about giving me a return. The cops say it is too late to file a report and my only recourse to get a chargeback from my bank was months ago. I literally gave $200 to Kohl's for nothing, a gift. Beware that they give you the runaround and lie to you till it is too late to get your money back. They lost my business. They are crooks. When I filed a complaint with the BBB, I read lots of complaints about them playing games and lying about refunds so I expect in time they will get caught.

I will never give Kohl's another dollar of my money. I placed an order, Kohl's DID NOT ship one of my items, when I contacted their customer service they would not refund my account for the item that they never shipped. When I called customer service they put me on hold. The operation kept pressing buttons to hurt my eardrum. I called back after waiting on hold for over one hour. The next supervisor was worse than the one before. After four hours I finally gave up. I will never shop at Kohl's again. Buyer beware.

They do not even deserve a one star rating. Worst customer service. I ordered items on Nov 17, 2017 and did not receive 3 of the items I ordered. I started calling customer support since Dec 15, 2017 and had been given different reference # for the issue. I've called, without exaggeration 10 times and emailed 4 times about a promised credit to my account. The last time I called was Jan 20, 2018 and receive another promise that the credit will be in my account in two days. It is Feb 5, 2018 at the time of my writing & nothing has been credited to me. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM KOHL'S. There are thousands of places you can bring your business to. This company do not deserve to be in business.

Placed a large order on Cyber Monday for holiday gifts. My order was sent to an old address, however I HAD updated my address in the Kohls.com system. When I called Kohls.com they first told me I needed to contact UPS because it was their fault they should not have left the packages. When UPS would not take responsibility, I called Kohl's again and they informed me it would be up to ME to track down packages at my old address (in another state!). Then when I had an old neighbor track my packages for me, there were only 2 packages (however the order had stated it was sent in three separate boxes).
Because I did not want to pay the packages to be shipped, I had my friend return all items in the boxes received, BUT one of the packages was still missing. I have now made multiple calls to Kohl's to follow up and I am told that corporate will issue me a refund check for the lost box once they 'investigate'. It has now been 6 weeks and I'm still waiting. I have been calling weekly and I'm always told to allow 7 days to process refund. I think it is their big SCAM to ignore and put people off until the next call. Terrible customer service! I will also never purchase anything from Kohl's again!

** Kohl's and their offers!!! Do not sign up with Kohl's. In the beginning they offer you a discount if you sign up, and you'll be sent a credit card via mail. but what they don't tell you is that your credit card is already being charged. The discount that you got at the time of the purchase is what they charge on your unactivated card. I made a bought a dress shirt for about $15 and when I signed up for the membership, I got a $5 discount. I received my Kohl's credit card but I never even called them to activate my card. Few months went by and I receive a letter from Kohl's with a charge of $200!!! It was a stupid $15 shirt! How the in the hell am I being ridiculously charged $200 for a $15 shirt!
It would of at least been nice if I got a simple "oh just FYI, you are gonna be charged for the "discount" we are giving you, so make sure you call to activate your Kohl's credit card, or else we will charge you a crazy amount and screw over your credit score, thank you and come again" ... Well now because of the charge on a stupid credit card I never activated, my credit score shot down like like crazy! Screw you Kohl's. PS. I hope you and your company shuts down.

I ordered an item using Kohl's online. There was a glitch in the order where the web form put in a previous address as a shipping address. Per Kohl's policy I am not entitled to a refund because I ordered through their website and not through their customer service line??? Why have an application and online ordering??? They then suggested I call the delivery service to see if "I" could get it re-routed, because it wasn't their problem any longer.
I bought five items. They broke the order up into 3 shipments. One shipment was sent UPS. The next FedEx. The last United States Postal Service. I reached out to all three entities, none of which could assist as the orders had been either delivered or passed off to a third party delivery service. This ended up being a VERY expensive lessons learned. I too will NEVER use Kohl's website, application, or step into another brick and mortar store EVER!!! Seriously customer service has been tossed out the window this company. Does anyone even care anymore about repeat business?

I have been a long time customer of Kohl's, but recently I realized that this establishment does not understand how to accommodate to their customers. I used my card for some Christmas shopping to reap the discounts and free shipping benefits as a cardholder. I paid off the balance right away and my husband made a duplicate payment, not realizing I had already paid. This was within 24 hours of each transaction. Kohl's took both payments and we called to address the issue and asked that we be credited the duplicate payment. We did not want store credit; it was a larger than normal shopping spree, as it was for Christmas gifts. Supposedly, we were issued a check, but 3 weeks later we never received it. We continued to follow up and another check was supposedly issued.
Another 3 weeks later, no check. We have been patient, but at this point, the amount of money we have been out for over 2 months now is ridiculous. They took our duplicate payment no problem, but for some reason, they cannot seem to reimburse their very regular and loyal customer. Why would I want to continue to spend my hard earned money at an establishment that cannot accommodate to their customers for something so simple as crediting a customer their own money? We asked they just put it back on the card we paid the balance with, but nope, their policy is to issue a check.
How is it that I continue to receive all of my mail, but somehow this supposed check has never been received? Imagine the frustration this has caused and the time spent to try and resolve this issue with no resolution in sight. We have gone 2 months without this very much needed money. Our money! I have even spoken to managers who tell me there is nothing else they can do. I feel helpless at this point. Is there anyone out there who can help us?

They credited my credit card and reordered. OUT OF STOCK. When they came in stock, 2 more were ordered and they were BOGO 50% off. Cool. When order arrived, one item was incorrect! Adding insult to injury. Called to get replacement of incorrect item. Item reordered and was promised I'd get the adjusted price since they were still BOGO and I was only ordering 1. NOPE! Got an email that they couldn't put credit through and I was going to be charged FULL PRICE FOR THEIR MISTAKE. Really??? I don't think so.

I have been a long-time customer of Kohl’s. I have never had any issues, until I needed to return a very expensive blender. When I initially bought the blender, I had some discounts, and also $40 Kohl’s Cash. When I returned the blender they would not credit my account the full cost of the blender. They took back the $40 Kohl’s Cash. I argued with them, that if you give a customer cash to use, why would you then take it back? The store clerk said corporate wants it back. I took it a step further, to the Escalation Department. When the rep called me she would not acknowledge that I had used Kohl’s Cash for the blender, yet I had the receipt right in front of me. She said I had used it on boots. I was getting nowhere so, I hung up on her. Rude... but, oh well.
If they are that desperate for the $40, as much money as they rake in, we’ll take it then. After going through this, and touching base with friends on Facebook, who have had similar experiences with discounts and Kohl’s Cash, I have decided to pay the account off and close it. I can just as easily shop at Walmart or Target and get by much cheaper.

Don't know why they would send out a corporate check for a return instead of store credit but they said they would. Even on the back of the refund slip it states the worst case scenario is store credit. So Kohl's is violating their own published policy by issuing a corporate check. It has been 4 weeks and I still have not received my check that was supposed to be here in 10 days. And I can't get anybody on the phone. Here are the numbers you need to call 3, 4, 5 times a day, 262 703-7000, ask for CEO Kevin Mansell. Also state of Wisconsin Department of Justice Consumer Complaints, 800 422-7128.

I purchased two items at Kohls.com. I received one in the mail, and received information that the other had been sent back to Kohl's because they forgot to put an address on it. I called Kohl's customer service and was told that because it was their mistake I would have my item in the next 48 hours. That was 3 days ago, and I just called and was told that they will put a refund on my card in the next 10 to 15 business days, and I will not receive my item. It is obvious that Kohl's customer service needs additional training in satisfying their customers.

I placed an order on January 21. The total order showed free shipping, so I clicked "place my order." When I got a confirmation, Kohl’s had added a shipping charge. I called customer service immediately to ask them to remove the shipping charge. I was on hold for 15 minutes and some sleepy guy said I had to call back in hours because the order had just been placed and he could not remove the shipping charge. So, I called back in 2 hours and was on hold for an hour. When the woman got on the phone she immediately put me on hold while I waited for another person who came on and put me on hold for another representative who told me this was my lucky day because she was going to take care of me.
She said my original order was cancelled and she would place another identical order, but without any shipping. I was so grateful to her. I got a confirmation of the new order but immediately after got a notice that that order had been cancelled by my request - which was untrue. So I called back and waited another hour on hold. When someone finally got on the line, they said the original order had not been cancelled as I was previously told. He said he would remove the original shipping charge but could not send me a confirmation - I'd just have to wait to see if it showed up on Kohl’s charge.
Months ago I had promised myself never to shop again when Kohl’s left out an item just before Christmas and I had to call customer service many times to get it resolved, but once again I placed an order that I regret doing. Kohl’s used to be a joy to shop online, with helpful customer service, but Kohl’s has really gone downhill in quality and in customer service. Never again will I order anything from this horrible place. There are plenty of other stores that provide better service and quality.

I've been a Kohl's customer for a long time, and have a Kohl's charge account as well. Up until this point I've always been happy with shopping with Kohl's. This, however, is the first time I've needed a refund - what a nightmare! I placed an order on November 29th that never shipped, and I've been trying to get a refund ever since. I've contacted customer disservice many times, and I'm always given a canned response about how "the back-end team is working on it", but nothing ever comes of it. I've spoken to "supervisors" as well, and have been given many false promises of a refund that never materialized. So here I am, nearing 2 months of waiting for a refund for an order that never shipped. Kohl's is giving me the runaround, and I'm really done with them. Once I get my refund, if I ever do, I am closing my Kohl's charge account, and they can simply KMA.

Very deceptive pricing practices. So many instances but here are just a few from my last 2 trips to Kohl's. Buy 1 Get 1 1/2 price socks for instance, Nike not included, but the entire bank of Nike socks was riddled with the signage. Shirt I attempted to buy was on a rack that said 50% off (of your typical bloated unrealistic price) so from $40 to $20, get to register and it's $29? I point it out to a sales associate who said she was going to fix it, I then show her three more misleading signs. She gave me the 50% off but people should not have to ask!
Some people, especially older people, will just walk out of the store not realizing. The day before we bought a Flyers hat which was supposed to be 20% off, guess what, we get to register and there is no discount. I posted about this on Facebook and so many people were telling me that they actually take a picture of the sale sign so they can show it once they get to the register, why do we need to do that?!? There are more incidents, but you get the point. Every time I am in that store, I literally utter to my boyfriend "I have the ** store". How many lawsuits is it going to take before Kohl's straightens up!

I purchased a third party gift card to a popular restaurant for my son who is a college student. When I purchased it, the cashier told me it may take a day to activate which was fine. The next day, I went to the restaurant gift card balance website to check to see if it was indeed activated, and it said the card was not valid. I called customer service *(who was very hard to understand) and he checked the card and agreed there was an issue with it but offered no resolution. I called customer service on another occasion and got the same response. I had forgotten about it for a few weeks, but once I remembered I called the store where I purchased it.
She told me she didn't have access to certain information and took my name and number and said she would call back but never did. After not hearing back, I emailed the complaint line at Kohl's and received a reply back that they checked the card, and it was working. Yay! However, when I checked the balance online, it was still saying it wasn't valid. I called the gift card hotline number of the restaurant and a very nice lady checked the card and said that it was not valid. I called the customer service rep back and told her that she was mistaken and the card was not working. It's not too hard to figure out that obviously there was an interface issue between Kohl's and the restaurant/gift card but she gave me the runaround like I was trying to cheat Kohl's out of $25.
She told me that I could go back to the store where I purchased and plead with the manager. I told her that I did not feel it was my place to have to do that. I purchased the card with the intention that my son would be able to use it and Kohl's had not fulfilled their end of the bargain and it was their responsibility to rectify the situation. I asked for a refund on my Kohl's charge which was not an unreasonable request and she FLATLY refused. She informed me she was THE LAST IN LINE to the PRESIDENT of Kohl's so I was out of luck. I am so DONE with Kohl's, they stole $25 of my hard earned money. They clearly knew I paid for something that I did not receive. I paid off my credit card and will NEVER shop there again.

Over a month after returning an online order of a watch to the store (untouched, unused, boxed, with receipt and bank statement proof of payment) and I am still waiting for my VISA to be credited. My experience is much like many others I see posted here. My letter to Kohl's. No response. They don't care. My experiences with Kohls have been one huge problem after another.
Per this discussion, I purchased a watch and a set of socks. I previously outlined my negative experience with my purchase and store pick-up. I decided to return the watch. I visited the store three times, in an attempt to return it. The first time, they were only able to see the socks (and not the watch) based on my order number and advised that they couldn't accept the watch as a return that day. I went to the store a second time, waited in line, attempted to return the watch with the credit card I used to place the order and the receipt and they said it wasn't the credit card used and they couldn't accept the watch back. The third, and final attempt at returning the watch was yesterday. Here was my experience.
I went to the jewelry counter, with my original receipt, my credit card used, my driver's license, the confirmation email from the online order, and the watch (untouched in original box, paperwork, etc). They could not find my order in the system using all identifying information. I went through three store clerks and two managers and spent almost an hour and a half at the jewelry counter waiting for this to be resolved. I was determined to return the watch and not have to return to the store, unnecessarily, and waste countless hours of my time. Finally, one of the managers called the online people who confirmed my purchase, date, price, etc but, told me I had to mail the watch back through the online system. The store manager explained that I picked it up IN THE STORE, but he still didn't seem to understand what to do.
After 15 minutes on the phone with the online guy, he finally agreed to allow me to return the watch to the store and credit my VISA. I have no clue if he will do what he said he was going to do. I have no idea what the credit amount will end up being on my card. I have to wait and see. I wasted an entire afternoon at Kohl's Salem, NH and have no intention of ever returning to Kohl's. I do wish to point out that the personnel with whom I dealt with were very professional, eager to help and polite. This is a systemic problem, not one caused by employees. If I have had two horrible experiences with Kohl's within a two-week period of time, I can only imagine that other customers have problems as well. If there is a problem with my credit card, I will call corporate, I will not bother going to the store.

I recently had an order from Kohl's go missing; UPS insisted that it had been delivered to my front porch despite the fact that my video surveillance refuted their records. When my attempts to resolve the issue with UPS proved futile, I contacted by email Kohl's customer service - using an email address I found after a lengthy search. (I will say this: it was very difficult to discover this email address, and I certainly had no intention of discussing the issue on the phone. My experiences with phone calls to customer service reps have not always been so pleasant.)
Through this email contact, however, I am happy to report that a supervisor contacted me within a day and credited me for my missing package right away! I was so gratified to receive such a prompt reply and ever so grateful to receive a credit for the lost merchandise!!! They did not have to do this; the missing package was certainly not Kohl's fault! As such, the generosity that I received was not even expected!
I know that dealing with customer service reps can often be very difficult, and I can commiserate with many of those individuals who have left reviews on this site. Nevertheless -- or perhaps because of this -- I felt it important to leave a positive review. No business is perfect; we are all going to have difficulties from time to time. It's nice to know, though, that Kohl's does appreciate its customers and will take the time to resolve problems.

Kohls.com corporate refund department is a SCAM. I needed to exchange an item I bought online because it arrived damaged. Their return policy suggest you return to a store, which I did. The store directed me to then go back online to reorder. Here is the scam. When I contact the CS rep for the exchange they said, "No problem." First step was to reorder the item at its full price without the discount credits I initially had. I thought that was strange, but I complied. I placed the CS rep on hold and reorder the item online came back on, gave the CS rep the order number.
He then placed me on hold, came back on and said it's complete, they adjusted it on their end as a credit for the funds will be sent back to my card. They said I should see the credit within 7-10 days, however it was never done. I called back multiple times and was redirected to the corporate refund dept who NEVER answers the phone. I left my number at 9am on virtual hold for a callback. They returned my call 10 HOURS later, which I missed because I was at work, at 6pm. Conveniently right when they close for the day. I've been a Kohl's customer since 2004, sometime in 2016 their system changed the due date of my auto pay therefore making my payment late. I had no knowledge of this transaction until I received a late fee on my bill. I called the credit dept. Spoke to a very, rude male rep who refused to listen to my situation. He said, "I'm not removing the fee, it's up to you to review your bills". I got upset and said, "I'm asking you to please remove the fee", he replied NO... so I said, "Then I'm closing out this account". He closed it out. I'd never been late and was an excellent customer. I called the next day realizing I should not closed account but too late. They refused to reopen same account.
A month later I went in store to purchase some items as we have no good shopping nearby. The clerk asked me if I had an account. I explained the situation to her. She offered to open a new one, which happened but with a measly limit of 300. That was 2016. Last week I wanted to increase my limit, was denied stating I have too many accounts that are close to limit. I've never been late on any of them, they also said I have no real estate account with valid credit limit. What!!?? That is pure discrimination. I own a house with my husband. He pays the mortgage. I explain I want to exchange for same kind of item that costs as much or more. The only way they WON'T deduct free shipping is if you exchange for something the exact same amount (e.g. $55.24). Never mind that my exchange would give Kohl's a more expensive order (i.e. Kohl's would make more money). Couldn't find exchange for exactly $55.24 so they deducted free shipping for every item in the order which cost me over $20 in shipping charges. out there...
Christmas gift. She said "No, I didn't get anything". So, I called Kohl's, sat on hold, went through several people trying to figure out what happened to my Mother's gift card.
It was finally determined that the gift card had been cancelled by Kohl's as a security measure because the order was being sent to Florida. However, they (your company) had been given no permissions from me to cancel the order, nor did I received a notice of the order being cancelled. Then, I had to go through a bunch of red tape to get them to lift the HOLD that they had placed on my account. Then I had to re-order the gift card. My Mother did not get her Christmas gift on time because your store decided to cancel my order without asking my permissions or even notifying me that they had done so!
The First Issue THIS Christmas: I ordered 2 gifts from Kohl's Online for my Daughter before Christmas (Beginning of Dec.). One was a massager, and the other, an expensive pair of boots. I purposely ordered them early because I knew she and my Grandson were planning on leaving town on the 21st to drive to Florida to my Mother's house for Christmas. I didn't want packages sitting outside of their door for 2 weeks because they live in an apartment. On the same day, I also ordered a Desk for my Grandson (my daughter's son at the same address in Delaware) from JC Penney's. NOTE: we had NO ISSUES from my JC Penney online order.
My Grandson received his gift on the 16th. A couple of days went by. I knew they would be leaving soon, so I asked my daughter if she had received her gifts yet. She informed me that she didn't. So, I get on the phone with Kohl's. I sat on hold, went through several people trying to figure out what happened, and we discover that they had CANCELLED my order once again without my permissions and without notifying me! However, once again, I received no such notice of this order cancellation and I had to re-order the card and we had to go through a bunch of red tape to get them to lift the HOLD that they had placed on my account! Once again my family is screwed out of a timely Christmas gift because of Kohl's ridiculous security measures.
The Second Issue THIS Christmas: Once I found out that the order had been cancelled I explained to your CS rep the problem that we were now going to face. Now, if I re-ordered the Massager and the Boots they would arrive at her apartment after she had left for Florida. So, not only would the gifts be sitting in the hall of an apartment complex for 2 weeks while she was in Florida (and more than likely get stolen), but if she were lucky enough for them to still be there whenshe returned home on January 3rd, they would be VERY LATE GIFTS!!! this was not acceptable.
So, the Customer service agent suggested sending my Daughter's gifts to my Mother's house in Florida, where she would be staying. Initially, this was a fabulous idea. However, there was still the issue that they might not make it in time. This was not just a concern for her getting them in time for Christmas, but there was also a possibility of them arriving at my Mother's house AFTER my Daughter's departure from Florida to return home. Her vacation time had her leaving Florida on January 2nd and the free shipping showed that the items might not arrive until the 4th. This was an even greater concern because this would cause serious issues of my Mother having to re-ship them to my daughter. I was extremely terrified of this happening.
The customer service rep and I discussed this most serious concern. The final solution that YOUR customer service rep came up with was that he would re-submit the order, AND put 2 day shipping on it, AND not charge me the additional $ for the 2-day shipping to make up for the mess that Kohl's had caused. Even though, it was 5-6 days before Christmas, the rep explained that 2-day shipping at Christmas time didn't really guarantee that the gifts would get there BY Christmas. However, your CS rep did ASSURE me most adamantly that both items would definitely arrive at my Mother's house in Florida BEFORE my Daughter was due to depart from Florida on the 2nd. Even though I was not happy, I accepted this as the best solution.
Your Customer Service Rep LIED... FLAT OUT LIED!!! Only the massager (Received Dec. 28th) made it before she left Florida. The boots just arrived at my Mother's house yesterday, Jan. 3rd! My Daughter left Florida on January 2nd as I told the rep she would. Now, we are faced with a HUGE problem. Now my daughter's Boots (her Christmas Gift), is at my Mother's House in Florida, but My Daughter is back at her Home in Delaware. My Mother is now faced with the responsibility and the cost of getting them to my Daughter! And, my Daughter STILL does not have her Christmas gift. How late will her gift be? This is not right!! This is most Unprofessional!!
I understand and appreciate your attempt at security to reduce your liability, but your policies go WAY OVER THE LINE. Your site / electronic Robots should be able to see that my Mother's and my Daughter's addresses were added BY ME (they can see the IP that entered the addresses is my IP in Arizona). You should also have it programmed to be able to determine that I have sent things to these addresses previously and you have not had any liability arise from it. SIMPLE programming... How many other customers of yours have been put through this horrific hassle during the already stressful Holidays?
BECAUSE OF THESE ONLINE ISSUES, I have spent hours on the phone, hours of frustration and another 2 hours typing this letter instead of enjoying what should have been a smooth online transaction. These are hours of MY LIFE that your company has STOLEN from me. My Mother's gift was late last year, and my Daughter, as of today's date of January 4, 2018, STILL hasn't received her Christmas gift that was ordered for her at the beginning of December 2017!!! The way I see it is... It would be in your best interest at this point to at least pay for the shipping of the boots from Florida to Delaware, AND to send whichever Postal Company you choose to pick them up so that my Mother does not have to be burdened with what is truly YOUR COMPANY'S RESPONSIBILITY!
However, if it was my company, and my angry, dissatisfied customer, I would also return the full value of the item to her card, or do something else over and above the shipping costs simply to make amends for the 2 Christmas' of Hell her and her family have been through, to make up for the dishonesty and lies from your comapny, all of the hours she has been robbed of, and to completely satisfy her so that she would speak positively about my company; ESPECIALLY, if that particular customer was an internet marketing expert who was capable of pushing a negative review right to the very top of google, FB, Instagram, LinkedIn, Bing, and every other internet marketing venue every time someone typed "my Company Name" into the search engines.
I would never leave any of my customers unsatisfied. But, I would definitely go over and above for that particular customer because there really is a minute comparison between a loss of a couple of hundred dollars and a happy customer vs a potential loss of millions from negative reviews traveling the internet. It would be as they say... a "No Brainer". Please have someone CALL me immediately to settle this serious issue.
Updated on 01/08/2018: Dear Mr. Mansell, Really!!!??? This is how Kohl's deals with this serious issue??? You passed my previous issue off to someone... Do you realize what that girl did? Do you give them direction to behave in this manner? Your employees are using SLIME BALL tactics to get out of dealing with serious issues... She called my phone using SLYdial (look it up - it is a sleazy way of calling someones phone so that you go straight to voice mail so that you can avoid have to actually SPEAKING to them). MY PHONE WAS RIGHT BY ME... It never rang and the ringer was up, but all of a sudden there was a voice mail from her.
She made sure to leave the message just seconds before she left for the day on Friday so that I would have to wait until Monday. 3. She sent me an email asking me to give her the info when I SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED A PHONE CALL! I called immediately back and got her VM. I left her a message reminding her that I REQUESTED A PHONE CALL not a SLYDIAL and to call me Monday. BEFORE noon Arizona time or I was going to let you know how customers are being treated. It is Monday after 1:00 PM and I STILL have not received a call from her. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR!!!

We are new to using Kohl's charge. We were making a payment to pay off our Kohl's charge balance. When trying this online, the website gave me an error and said it could not process payment. So, I called in to make the payment. They took my payment, no problem. Much to my surprise, Monday morning, the payment was taken out of my account twice. When I called Kohl's they told me that I did have a credit (a rather large credit since I was paying the account off). So my payment came out twice. They were unable to just credit my account back, they have to send a check and now we're at the mercy of the mail system as to when we can receive our money back that they so easily took from us. HOPEFULLY, we'll see it in a week. :-(

In the last 2 months, I have bought 2 casual women's shirts with the brand name "Chaps" from Kohl's. Both have been washed 2-3 times and the left elbows have a hole in them already!!! When I bought one of the shirts at Kohl's, my husband also bought a fleece jacket and when he got it home the hem came out on about half of the garment. What is going on with quality at Kohl's. I have also had the same issue with Women's shirts at Cabelas. I also bought about 5 pairs of socks at Herbergers and one pair had a hole in it the very first time I put them on!!! After this experience I will NEVER shop for clothes at Kohl's again! Everything is so paper thin and cheap, but yet they charge enough for them. Wearing a garment for a month and getting a hole in them is just unacceptable! Cheap JUNK from China I am sure.

I ordered some artwork (consisting of 1 large piece and 4 smaller pieces, sold together) for my new home over Black Friday. It arrived damaged (the box was damaged and the largest piece had a puncture through it) and only 1 of the 5 pieces had the promised 'D-rings' needed to hang the pieces on the wall. I chatted with 3 customer service agents who told me they would have UPS contact me about pick up. When I told them I would not be able to re-package the piece due to the box damage, the large size, and the fact that all pieces were originally heavy-duty stapled together (which took over an hour to take apart), they said it wouldn't be an issue and I could coordinate with UPS.
I was never contacted by UPS but ultimately the chat agent gave me an email address for customer service. The email service has been one nightmare after another. They keep telling me they are sending a UPS label that I just need to affix to the box. They are TOTALLY ignoring my complaints that I cannot get the piece back into the box!! Additionally, they claim to respond within 1 business day, but it typically takes them 4-5 to respond with virtually the same message each time. I will never buy from Kohl's again and I have told many friends and family about this terrible experience. Kohl's has lost a lot of business from this one purchase.

The last two orders I placed online were supposed to qualify for a 20% discount. However, what is now happening, once you enter the discount code and receive the reduced pricing, if you use Kohl’s Cash to pay for the order you lose the discount. And, you are charged a shipping charge. The Kohl’s cash to me is an extension of a sales price, it’s not "Free Money", I had to spend money at the regular price to earn it. I order online as the two Kohl’s locations that are in my area have terrible choices of clothing and shoes and frankly the stores are disasters. It seems they receive items that do not sell in other locations. So in essence I am being penalized for Kohl’s not having adequate merchandise in their stores.
I quit shopping JC Penney because of the lack of quality and Bon-Ton as their discounts and coupons were not only frustrating to use, but at times it seemed fraudulent (bait and switch). One of the last stores that I felt I could get quality at a good value was Kohl’s, unfortunately, not anymore. I don't know if it has anything to do with their connection to Amazon now, but I am highly disappointed and very likely will close my account. I, as well as many others have been loyal Kohl’s shoppers, but advertising discounts that are taken away does not leave the shopper feeling good about the experience. It will lead down the same path that Sears, JC Penney, Macy’s, and all of the other stores that are closing.

I bought my son several clothing items for his 16th birthday. I was unable to find my receipt, but Kohl’s advertises a hassle free return policy with or without a receipt, and when some items did not fit him, we thought nothing of taking them back. Seeing as how they do not carry any sizes larger than what we already had in store, we just wanted the refund, a merchandise credit would have been fine. AFTER scanning all items and taking them all behind the counter, I am handed a receipt and told that I would be receiving a corporate refund, and that someone would be contacting me within 7-10 business days. Then the employee implied that we had come in and STOLEN everything we had brought back. My son looked devastated. What a way to be treated in your 16th birthday. They also took NO CONTACT INFORMATION for us, so of course no one contacted us.
I called the corporate number about 14 business days later. Never got through. It took several days, wait times of an hour to an hour and a half, then getting hung up on, until I finally got through. The woman on the phone was one is the rudest people I have ever encountered. I told her that I had actually found the receipt, and she acted as if I was lying and had stolen all the items. When I couldn’t locate the receipt, and asked her to pull it up by my rewards information or credit card number, she lied and said that wasn’t possible. So, I put her on hold for about 15 minutes while I looked for it, with no luck. I then called her out on her bs lies, and she then pulled up the receipt. The whole time still treating me like a common thief. She found the receipt, and very rudely told me that I had used $60 Kohl’s cash, so it would be deducted from the refund.
I received the check in the mail yesterday, but they did not give back the Kohl’s cash. I know they ALWAYS return back Kohl’s cash for in store returns, and if you aren’t going to give me my entire refund, give me back my damn Kohl’s cash. Kohl’s is the real thief. I will NEVER shop here again. I have already been on hold 34 minutes to get through to what I am sure will be a very rude representative to get the money they owe me back. And once that’s done, I will SELL this Kohl’s cash to someone else, even at half the amount. Kohl’s will NEVER again get a penny from me.

I ordered clothing from Kohls.com December 14th. All orders at the time were guaranteed by Christmas. I kept checking the order status on my phone and it kept saying details with be updated once my package was delivered to FedEx. Every time I checked the dates were pushed out. I called Kohl's and they said my package was delivered on the 18th! I never received the package nor was I ever notified of the tracking number on my phone. The online status on my phone still says the package will be delivered between Jan 4-5. Whats going on?! And they refuse to credit my account until the investigation with FedEx is over!
Kohl's said this can take up to 4 weeks. The man I talked to was rude and condescending as if I was a criminal. FedEx called me at 4:43 am this morning wanting a description of my house so they can talk to the driver that noted he delivered the package on the 18th. Of course he's going to say he delivered it. Why should I pay for something I never received? I even placed a new order so the sizes I originally ordered would still be in stock. I'll never shop with Kohl's again. EVER!

My Kohl's order that was placed on Black Friday was sent to my old address. I contacted customer service immediately to let them know that I had made this mistake. They said it was too late to change the shipping address! What? I spent almost $300 and made a mistake of sending the items to my old address. I later placed another order that was sent to my new address. I have called and did chats with Kohl's. They said that they are not at fault and will not refund my money. They told me to go to the old address and ask for my items that were delivered to the old address. I contacted the manager and she reached out to the residents. I do not have my items from the order. Kohl's did not ship this order for almost a week after I ordered it, but someone was too lazy to allow me to change my shipping address. I am livid.
I have lost my money, my items and Kohl's is unwilling to help. On top of that, I placed a pick in-store order and listed my daughter as someone to pick the order up. When she went to pick up the order, it was lost. So I got an email canceling the store pick up. Where is the refund in that? Nothing from Kohl's but the order cancelation. I am so disappointed in this company.

I can almost never actually see any of the lists I created. It tells me that there is an error obtaining the information. So I can't go back to things that I saved. You also cannot create a new list because it can't tunnel to the information on your account. It used to be if you waited until super late when people weren't using the site and traffic was less you were able to get your lists. But this is now constant all the time regardless of site traffic.
You are not able to search items in stores unless you can scan the item in store. Once it is unavailable online, you are not able to view store inventories unless you are in the store and the item tag is available to scan. Since you can't get the SKU number from a saved list because you don't have access to your lists ever, you cannot call around stores to find it.
Almost every order I made for this Christmas season had at least one item cancelled. Even though it was still available online after the incident. In some cases, once the item is cancelled days later, it is still online but for a higher price since the sale I purchased it with is no longer available. It sometimes also creates frantic finding of new items because it is cancelled so late that you don't have time to wait for the often really long amount of time it takes for Kohl's to ship.
You are not able to exchange an online item for a different size of the same item. Usually the price you paid the promotion has ended since their shipping takes so very long. In some cases two weeks. You are not able to purchase the item in the new size for the same amount you paid previously, even though you are just trying to swap for a new size. They are not able to offer you to return the wrong size and purchase the right size for the same amount of money. It is always more expensive. Overall I am so disappointed with Kohl's that I feel I should cancel my Kohl's card and find a new store to frequent. These things do not occur to me at other stores.

Do not buy from this company. I ordered 2 shirts for my husband for Christmas on Black Friday. They ended up being too long. We went to a store in our area for an exchange for the right size. Which wasn’t possible since they didn’t have the same shirts. So we planned on getting 2 different shirts but customer service told us since I earned $15 in Kohl's cash when I bought the 2 original shirts, (that I used for another purchase in their store) they would deduct $15 from the return. I told them I had $10 Kohl's cash on my account so they should take that first before taking my money. They said they don’t do it that way. So not only did they take the shirts back plus half the money from my return. My husband doesn’t have his Christmas present anymore. I will not shop there anymore. Not only was I going to buy him a couple more shirts for the ones we returned I was going to buy me a robe. Their loss!

Mind you I still haven't received the money and it's going on Christmas in a couple days. I tried replacing the order they told me that they're going to do second day shipping and they were going to give me the items for the same price. So I called them up to replace the items in the order and then they tell me now, "You know we can't give you second day shipping. You're going to have to get it in 7 days."
I was upset because I've ordered from Kohl's before so not only have I not received my refund but now they've taken away the second day shipping so now I'm already pissed off. I'm waiting for my money. No money now. They're taking away the shipping. They take away the discounts. Now they're there giving me a hard time about shipping all my stuff. I just gave up. I ordered an iWatch series 2 from kohls.com two weeks ago and it was delivered today 12/16/17. I ordered and paid for a new iwatch series 2. What I received was a used, opened iwatch 2 with missing parts and that was already paired with someone else's iCloud account. Making it useless for me. The box had some wear and tear and when I opened it I could tell it wasn't a new watch. The charger cord was missing the outlet connection and when the watch was charged it could not be paired with a phone because it was already paired with someone else's iCloud ID.
I called customer service and after being on hold for over 40 minutes and hung up on once I was told that the company is out of the series 2 and that my only option would be to return the watch for a refund or call around and drive to the nearest store that had one. I called the closest store and they let me know that no store within 100 miles of me had iwatches. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had and now a week before Christmas I'm down a major Christmas gift. I will never again trust Kohls.com with something like this.

So I returned two shirts that were too small for my son... I don't shop at Kohl's normally just because I don't like the store or the clothing. I think it's cheaply made. But he liked these shirts. Went to return for a larger size, didn't have so obviously wanted a refund. What happens this chick, says, "Oh you are going to get a corporate refund. It'll be 7-10 days." Really?? For $22.09?? This is why I don't shop at Kohl's scrappy clothes and even worse business practices.

Just spent 42 minutes on 12/15 utterly frustrated with the online lack of customer service skills and lack of communication regarding an order placed for holiday pillows. Order Number: **. Date: December 04, 2017. Total price: $54.54. ORDER DETAILS. Tracking Number: ** I got 3 emails from UPS changing the delivery date. The last date 12/12 never received package. I click on tracking # it says damaged in transit sent back to shipper. I NEVER received any notification from Kohl's that my order was damaged and that it was not being resent but refunded instead as their normal procedure. So now I have to reorder again. They won't offer an additional discount for my inconvenience and had the audacity to want to charge me 50% off expedited 2 day shipping when I had free shipping originally.
Then the supervisor comes to the conversation several minutes later and messes up the items being told that are in stock and are now ALL out of stock so now I can't even get these items! Says one of the pillows is in my local Warwick, RI store but he can't call store or order to pick up today. I lost $10 Kohl's cash in this process as well and because the order was cancelled it's void. Say what? They won't reissue, can't offer a better discount on the pillow I have to go pick up, won't offer a gift card for my trouble.
Basically, UPS caused the initial problem but Kohl's totally lacked the skills to compensate me for no communication so I would have reordered earlier and they might have been in stock, or with wasting time with online reps. I've shopped in their store weekly since Nov and at least twice a month prior as well as have placed many online orders lately therefore expect better treatment for my loyalty. They should have reordered the product immediately not credit account. That is a poor decision for regular procedures in these instances. I don't see me doing online ordering with them in the future thanks to this debacle!

If you order stuff using Kohl's cash, don't ever bother returning because you'll never see the refund for it (regardless of what they say). I order an $80+ electric scooter w/ $66ish Kohl' cash. Paid for shipping charges. Received it extremely beat up... The exterior box was in perfect condition so they shipped me an broken item. The retail box looks teared up and used. So I called to return. Took awhile for them to understand & process a return. They refunded just the charge card charges (Had to call to get shipping since it's their fault). Waited 3 weeks but no "blue Kohl's cash" in mail nor email (like they promise). Called them... They said to wait since it could take up to 1 month - waited 2 more week, called and they told me it's probably still on its way. I pushed back since I waited. They had trouble looking up the amount of Kohl's cash I used, asked me for Kohl's cash codes + pin for each one used. Wasted 45 mins.
They can't even tell me when the blue cash was shipped. They told me several things to get rid of me such as going to the store, waiting longer, maybe call back when I want to buy something and repeat the whole process. I'm an MVC(?) customer too since I bought several thousand dollars worth of stuff from them and got a bunch of $20 Kohl's cash. Anyways, this made me realize why Amazon is kicking all the old school retail's butt. Huge difference! I'll take my money elsewhere until they get better at handling support.

On December 2nd 2017, I purchased a group of items on Kohls.com. I received an order confirmation email and expected delivery date but the whole order was grouped into a total of 3 separate shipments. The first shipment arrived on December 5th at my job (I work for a very secure facility with a building manager who handles packages in a room that is monitored by surveillance cameras). I noticed that one of the items was not included in the shipment that was said to have arrived, so I used Kohls.com online chat service to speak to a CS rep on December 6th that my item didn't arrive in the first shipment. The CS rep told me that the item would arrive in the last shipment - due to arrive on 12/11. When I received the last shipment on 12/11 the item still did not arrive. I called Kohls.com customer service and was told the item would be delivered by EOD 12/12 (I did not receive a "claim" notification at this time from this CS rep).
On 12/12 when I did not receive the item, I called again and spoke to a CS rep named "Frank". When I asked where the item was in transit he told me that the item was delivered on 12/5 (the original date that the item was stated to have been delivered). I told him I spoke to two additional CS reps before him from his call center, and he asked me if I had the claim numbers from those transactions. I explained I was not given a claim number. When I then requested a full refund of the item Frank refused to give it to me as he said once again that the item was delivered and received by someone at my shipping warehouse of my company.
I explained to him that person was our building manager and that this man has already tried steps internally to help me locate my package. We even went as far as to look up the shipping weight of the package together on my online shipping confirmation from UPS. The weight of what was delivered was very light - less than 6 pounds. With this item, we believed the weight would have been more. Frank opened up two claims for me - 1 to review the lost package, and 1 to refund me the *price difference* of the item that I paid for versus what was on the website currently. (I argued with him because the price had gone down by about 10 dollars since I purchased this item on 12/2). Frank explained to me that the two claims would be processed within 24 hours.
I called again on 12/13 when I did not receive confirmation that the claim had been processed and spoke to a CS Rep named Dexter. When I asked about my claim he told me that it was not processed yet and that I should have received an email confirmation that Kohl's was *looking* into my claim. He explained it takes 7-10 business days for the claim to be processed as they need to review my claim internally. When I began to question why Dexter hung up the phone on me. I did not call back.
In addition, I have spoken to a man named John on Twitter about this incident who also stopped responding to me as well. When I felt the proper action wasn't being taken, I alerted my bank about the transaction and they are handling this for me now. I think the bottom line here is that as a multi-million-dollar company this is absolutely not how you treat people. I completely understand it is the holidays and things are busy and people are rushing around and mistakes happen. But you never blame your customer. Not only am I upset I did not receive my item and probably never will and have to fight you tooth and nail to get my money back, I am upset because I was made to feel like a liar throughout the entire process. For others who may have had the same thing happen, so sorry for you -- lesson learned.

I have had bad experience after bad experience trying to fix an issue at Kohl's. It is not worth the time or effort to shop here. I placed an online order that qualified me for Kohl's Cash. The order was sent in multiple shipments, so over the course of 10 days it arrived. One item was damaged so I went to the physical store to try and exchange it. I knew that returning the item would cause me to forfeit my Kohl's Cash and I really did want the decorative pillow for my home. However, the store did not have the same item in stock. I picked out something else and decided to make an exchange. I specifically asked to exchange the item and the customer service rep returned it anyway and started a separate transaction for my purchase. So I lost my $15 account credit. She didn't even apologize.
I went home and filled out the satisfaction survey and requested to be contacted about the issue. No one called. I emailed customer service, detailing the problem and requesting the credit be returned. After 4 days I got an automated response copied and pasted from the FAQ section of the website. I emailed back. No response. Finally I started an online chat and was told they cannot reissue credits. I persisted, because it was due to no fault on my part. I was told I could be given 100 points, equal to $5. I declined. Finally, I was told I could be given a $15 credit on my next online purchase. I would have to start a new chat to get the credit. I picked out a new item, and started the chat. The rep said she was looking into it and I waited 20 minutes and SHE disconnected the chat. Then a new rep came on and said I had to place the order, have it delivered, and then give her the order number so she could credit my account.
So... I had to pay $9 shipping and make a purchase. THEN I could get the $15 credit they deleted from my account due to negligence. That is not worth it to me. I would rather pick the items up in store and avoid the shipping fees. And I wanted to use my account credit on the purchase, not carry it over AGAIN to another purchase. It's Christmas. This Kohl's Cash was part of my tight budget and I can't keep throwing money here and there in an effort to get reimbursed. I feel like every time I shop at Kohl's, whether in store or online, I face some issue with a promotion or shipment or something. It just isn't worth it to me because what should have been a simple shopping trip has turned into a 3 week nightmare that remains unresolved.

When I called the customer service line, they said this happens all the time. I got the same canned comments that I read from others. It takes 3 days to investigate (they never did). Philippines, Columbia and Mexico City customer service almost made me want to jump off a roof of a tall building. Nothing was accomplished. 1 Incident - Broken Pfaltzgraff Pistoulet Cups. 2 Incident - DevaCurl product leaking, not packaged properly and surprised FedEx even delivered it. The 1st incident, I cut my losses. The 2nd incident, I had to keep calling until I got someone in the US although last week's US customer service rep did not help the problem. So I am being charged again for this product to be resent and sometime in the future, I should receive a credit which would cancel out the charge.
Guaranteed, I need to make a few calls again but this time, it will be to my credit card company, declining the charge if I am not credited. DevaCurl was put on my Visa so, I don't have to deal with Kohl's again. 40% off is a great deal but when there are issues, it is not taken care of properly and in a timely manner. If I didn't have $30 remaining I would NEVER order anything from Kohl's again and I will NOT ever order from them as soon as after I'm able to use my remaining Kohl's cash, if they ever honor it. Extremely shady to give people money for a purchase and then not let them use it. NEVER recommending Kohl's too, regardless of any promotions. A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE ONLINE SHOPPING! I have enjoyed shopping at Kohl's, but have had a recent nightmare that I felt was poorly handled by Kohl's. Black Friday weekend we bought off the website three different times with multiple items. Everything seemed okay. BUT, when my items were not being delivered, yet we got notification they were delivered I got worried and check it out. ALL of our items have gone to a stranger in another state. After calling Kohl's about this, I was told it was not their problem and they can't help me. What? I never put this address in my account! She also told me to track my packages down and gave me phone numbers for UPS and FedEx to stop any other deliveries. BTW, this is impossible to do. I was almost in tears and freaking out that all my purchasing were going to someone else! Imagine that!
I called Kohl’s back after I tracked down the man and the address listed as the delivery address. He answered and told me he has been receiving my items and actually called Kohl's twice about it and he also was left with no answers on resolving the issue. He told me he was going to write me a letter! I am a savvy internet user however and was able to get his phone number. He is willing to send me my packages of course with me paying for that. So back to my second call with Kohl's. This person was so much more helpful, BUT, there is no real answer as to how in the world this happened. He did tell me somehow my customer information merged with another customer (the delivery address) and so it was their website glitch. I cannot see this address until I saw it on the notification from Kohl's on delivery. I checked this by going to place another order and sure enough my home address is in the shipment address.
Kohl's is not able to help me with all my purchases. I have to work with the stranger to get my items. They are only willing to offer me 200 pts and to pay the shipment fee with proof of the cost and crediting my account. This is so not enough for me and the immense hassle and stress. I also have to do more for this man who is willing to send this to me. Think of the hassles of receiving all these items and shipping to a complete stranger. Plus the calls that went nowhere. Kohl's seriously needs to consider their customer service. Serious disappointment in a store that I shopped at consistently! One of my daughter's favorite stores too. How could I possibly trust buying online again.

I will continue to shop in store when I can, but have had it with Kohl's online. Apparently they hope you will just place an order and not use your Kohl's cash. NOT HAPPENING.

So as a Kohl's "MVC" you would think they would listen and take care of my concerns. I found a Roomba vacuum model 695 online that I almost purchased, but wanted to price check other stores. Found one at Lowe's model 690. So I called Roomba and checked their website to compare models, They told me exactly the same vacuum just different models for different retailers... hmmmm…
So Lowe's is selling theirs on sale at $274.99 normally $374.99... Kohls $439.99 from $529.99 then I put all the discounts. Yes2You... 15% off coupon... etc. and I'm down to $382.91 and with Kohl's cash of $105.00. So with all that it comes to $277.00 but I have to spend the Kohl's cash at Kohl’s of course... I called Kohl's and said I feel very deceived about this and they said (after 2 transfers and the lady saying they are the same) we can't match because different model numbers... If you go to Roomba you will see on their compare all models there isn't even a model 695... Not cool Kohl’s. Just paid my balance off and will think twice about shopping with Kohl's again.

Kohl's Cash is trash! I bought a baby bed from Kohl's which was marked up 70 bucks more than another site I saw, but I figured since I get 90 bucks in Kohl's cash it will be worth it. NOT SO!! The 90 bucks was REAL money that came out of my account but they treat it as a coupon. When I used the 90 bucks to get a baby bed they took off their FREE SHIPPING over 25 dollars so now I had to pay for shipping. THEN they wouldn't allow me to use any codes for a discount... Why not??
The 90 bucks was used as a credit to your account with you having to pay shipping and losing any discounts you wanted to add. I research things before I participate in them. I watch a VIDEO about Kohl's cash and the lady clearly stated that you would be able to use your Kohl's cash AND any other discounts at checkout time... This was on their website and it was ALL A LIE. I haven't really shopped at Kohl's for a long time but I'm definitely not wanting to shop there after the blatant lies they told. SMH.

Black Friday sale starts at midnight Wed night so I go to the site and after some shopping place my order about 1am. My main purchase is an LG tv that we're super excited about getting for Christmas. Come Thursday and I get a break while cooking Thanksgiving dinner and I check my email. There's an email there saying that my order was canceled! I called and find that their system had flagged my order as fraudulent?! So they canceled it. No questions or checking - just straight up canceled it. Of course by then the tv we wanted was all sold out. The CS Rep did says that they would honor the same price on that tv when (if) they get it in again but I'm worried they won't get it in - it may easily have been a Black Friday only special deal. The chance that this might work out keeps my rating at 2 stars right now. We'll see if they get this tv in again or not.

I placed an order online and after my Kohl’s cash I tried to pay with a Visa gift card. The site tells me they do not accept gift cards online or through chat, only through a live person on the phone. I call customer service and am connected to someone of Indian descent who I can barely understand. She, after asking me for tons of info, tries to run the credit card.
She says it won’t go through and after trying several things, transfers me to a supervisor. He is also of Indian descent and hard to understand. He asks me the same ton of questions and tries to run the card but cannot. I had a $200 card and used it one time that morning to make a $52 purchase and my Kohl’s purchase was $57, so there was definitely enough in the card and it was definitely activated. He says he can’t do anything so try to use it at a store. I hang up and closed the Kohl’s website as I was a bit aggravated at that time after spending over 30 mins on the phone and getting nothing done. I then received 4 emails within 10 mins telling me my account was updated.
So, I went back online to see what was going on and nothing changed except my $40 in Kohl’s cash was gone. I called them back again, and again was connected to another person of Indian descent who asked me that ton of questions again. I explained what happened and he started to ask questions about the gift card. I told him I just wanted to have my Kohl’s cash fixed but he insisted he could help with the gift card. I gave him the info and he tried to run it but failed. He asked me what name I registered it under, I told him it is a gift card, you don’t register it under any name.
He then asked me what my Kohl’s credit card number was so I told him. Not only did he not need that but I was not given my that to him. He then told me to go to the bank and make sure I have the right address on the card. I told him it is a gift card, you don’t buy it at a bank, it was bought at CVS, and you do not put your address on the card. He gave up and added my Kohl’s cash back on.
I ended up placing the order using a credit card. When the order came, in two separate shipments, part of it was wrong. I ordered a plain white cami and received a multi colored one. I didn’t want to call Kohl’s again so I did an online chat and was told they would send me a return label within 48 hrs. I then get an email asking for the order number AGAIN, after I packed the item up already. I wrote to them telling them I already gave them the order number and I looked it up and gave it to them again. Then I get another email saying Can I take it to a store, and I said no. Third email from them says keep the item, they will refund my money. It had now been several days and no refund yet! I am done with Kohl’s. They are a mess!

I went into Kohl's in Deer Park today and was absolutely appalled and shocked at the way the rude cashier treated me. I was buying a sweater by J Lo in an x-large. I asked if they happened to have Croft and Barrow sweaters that I saw online in the store. She said, "Let me ask". Loudly she yelled to this other woman to look in the plus size department. Then she said, "Did you look in plus size?" I said, "Well I wear an xlarge in this particular sweater, I'm not sure why I would look in that department." Then she said I really should that the regular women's department doesn't come in my size. She said and I quote her "they have another department for you."
I was absolutely speechless and confused by this rude comment that I did nothing. Then when I reminded her again I wear a size large she whispered, "Oh ok, you don't look plus size. Those are the big big sizes." Who trained this woman to work at the register? There is nothing wrong with being plus size! I happen to not be plus size, but why is she acting like there is something wrong with it and it should be a secret if you were?! Has she not met Ashley Graham? I am disgusted with the way she treated me. The job of a cashier is to ring up clothes and answer questions, not decide what size you wear.

SO... I made an order from Kohl’s on the 11th. It was for items for my job, mostly comfy clothes and some jeans for Jamie. One hour later, I also ordered a pair of sneakers they said they did not have in my size that then showed up on my Facebook timeline... in my size. SO... two orders an hour apart on the 11th. The first order was $225 with coupons. The second order was $43 with coupons (amounts were different with coupons). Now, I moved to this address on June 21st of 2016. I have made 13 orders (at least, on this photo but there is a page two) online from Kohl’s since that time. They have ALL come to my new address which I changed on their system at that time. For some reason, they decided to ship my large order to the 'old address'. What? So let me get this straight, I ordered this on the 11th.
I received the confirmation on that date, the shipping came on the 12th, that is the day I opened both emails. On the thirteenth I called them because I realized they had the wrong address and they claimed it was DELIVERED and I would have to pick it up or lose it. THAT is what they told me. So they screwed up the shipping and somehow I am responsible for that? I have escalated this to MY credit card. They put a tracking on the package to find it. NOW THAT is what I would expect in the LEAST! Dudes... I have doubts. My second order is coming to the right address. It makes no sense that this large order would just 'suddenly' go to the old address. I should mention it is in two packages and one of them will arrive today or tomorrow they said at the wrong address, they split the big order in two. I changed nothing. Further, it is not my fault their system online is not working correctly if it did tell them to ship it to the old address.
FURTHER... how does any of that become MY responsibility? HOW? They should have given me my money back, reordered it, and retrieved their mistake on their time, that is NONE of my business. THAT is THEIR problem, THEY CREATED. I am really... not even going to PURCHASE items from Kohl’s after this. I find it VERY hard to believe that my second order will not be here until the 15th to the 21st but the big one made it there just under three days from the moment of order and is at the wrong address and it's my problem. I feel like they took my money, never shipped it, and just robbed me. That is how I feel. Thank you to the card company for being the RESPONSIBLE party here. This is the LAST problem I have with Kohls.com. I think... I really think... based on the security issues they have, this problem now, and the behavior of the company... they are not trustworthy or reputable.
I am guessing other people must be having issues as well based on the comments on that page. This is one company that deserves to close. #kohls Tell me Kohl's, WHY would you suddenly, after all these orders and all this time later... suddenly supposedly ship something to an old address? You can clearly see by my second order that day that NEVER changed my address back and it has been the same address since I moved on June 21st of 2016... :)

I have been a extremely loyal Kohl's customer for about a year. But with 4 autistic kids, I started doing most of my shopping online. My sister and I decided to buy all of our aunts a Instapot for Christmas. So that was a lot of pots I needed to buy. There was never a quantity limit written anywhere on them. My orders started getting canceled, it took forever on the phone because it seemed they didn't know what they were doing, only to have THAT order cancelled too. I would have given up, but I already bought some, and sent to my family. So to not make a difference, I sucked it up, and redid and redid and redid orders. Suddenly they had blocked my online account, I had to call to have it unblocked. They claimed it seemed like it was a vendor and they had cancelled and blocked my order.
I explained the gift giving for this year. But after all, what's it to them what I do with them? As long as they get their money, they shouldn't care what I will do with them! So they told me I wasn't gonna be able to make online orders anymore, and have to go to the store, buy them there, and ship them across the US to all My family members. So I didn't buy more pots, and told my sisters to all get the rest. Today, I wanted to use my Kohl's cash I earned, and behold, my order was cancelled again. I call in, and me knowing every piece of information of my account wasn't good enough, heck they couldn't even send me a text. They made me drive 25 min to the nearest Kohl's store, so I could show 2 forms of ID... to buy some panties and a set of pots (not Instapots). Seriously??? With 4 autistic kids???
I ended up leaving 3 of them at my husband's job, and took one with, only because I had 300 dollars Kohl's cash/rewards cash I didn't want to lose. I showed them my ID's (in fact I showed them 7 IDs) only to have to call customer service from there. My child was pulling in all directions, the phone was so quiet I could barely hear the person who didn't speak English well on the other line, it was loud in the store, just to let them know, "I'm here, at Kohl's with my IDs, now what? Explain what the hell is going on." They told me now they had flagged me for Kohl's cash fraud. Seriously? Why the hell do they give you Kohl's cash if you can't use it? After not getting anywhere, I hung up, went to get the items I needed in the store, and as I am ready to use my Kohl's cash... it's gone, none can be found. So they deleted all my Kohl's cash (online) from my wallet. 280 worth.
Luckily, I am a very organized person, and had written down all the codes and pins, and was able to make my purchase and leave. They will never have anything cheap enough for me to go and buy anything ever again. EVER! I am an extremely good customer, and they didn't want my money. Way to go! Most valuable customer my **!!! If you have money and want to go do real shopping, don't do it at Kohl's, there are other places that actually appreciate their loyal customers, Kohl's is not one of them!

When it comes to ordering on the phone or online, Kohl's is not a way to go. You're better off going to the store. When you order they cancel it right away because your billing and shipping address are different. Then they want you to provide your whole life to authenticate if you are the person you say you are. When we told them it was going to be a pick up at the store, they wanted us to provide a government-issued ID, a utility bill, etc. They make you sound like you don't exist and that you need to provide anything and everything with your name on it. Do not buy online/mobile even if the deal is too good to be true, they will give you a hard time. They are quick about taking your money and taking days to give it back even though you canceled your order.

He promised me 50% off my next order for my inconvenience, but then gave me 3 different codes to use to redeem the offer. He seemed very flustered and confused... I'm not sure if any will work. I never received a confirmation email as promised, but the next day, I got an email from another person asking for more information. I tried calling customer service again and asked for a supervisor. I could overhear the supervisor telling the CS rep to take my information.
Again, this individual had a hard time with English, so I asked if I could provide it to the supervisor. I could hear her refuse. I took down both of their names and called the corporate office and asked to speak to the person in charge of customer service. At first, the operator lied and told me there was nobody there I could speak to. When I pressed, she finally relented that she was not allowed to put me through to a live person - that I had to leave my name and information on someone's voicemail and wait for a return call. On my second call I spoke to a "supervisor" who claimed to have resolved the issue. However I received an email (with poor English) that said that this person had tracked the order and that it had arrived. It stated that I should go to the Post Office (even though it has been over a month since the original order was placed) and check to see if they have it! Meantime the order information on this item clearly states it was shipped by UPS! Ugh.
I called back to speak to another supervisor. This time I got a women who had a better command of the English language and she apologized for the inaccurate email from the other supervisor. She looked into it and said that UPS had reshipped the item and gave me a tracking #. Hopefully this will be the end of this. It took too much of my time to resolve this issue. The offshore sites are a big turn off to US customers. I have a Kohl's card and have been a customer for over 13 years. Not sure if I want to order online anymore after this experience. It is now a week later, no package and apparently "Sue" never upgraded the shipping, even after she said "I PROMISE you'll have this no later than Oct 10." So, I leave for out of town tomorrow to go to the shower with no gift in hand for my daughter all because Kohl's lousy customer service people can't enter information correctly. The package if it ever arrives will now sit outside while I'm gone in the rain and probably be stolen. After 5 phone calls to Kohl's and getting nothing but "Sorry. Don't know what to tell you." I'm done and so are my friends and family with this idiot store. I was a loyal customer for over 15 years but I have cut my card in half. I'll go to Macy's.

When he did not understand he would read from his script. Spent most of that conversation verifying my information "for security." Never did get my issue resolved. The robot said I was chosen to review my experience if I stayed on the line. I did that but the review never came up. You simply hung up on me after I wasted another minute or two. A couple of months ago I updated my address on kohls.com and then ordered a few things. The following day I placed another order. I received my second order but not my first and when I called they said it was delivered already... telling me my old address. Not sure how or why it sent there when I had updated it and had no problem with my other order. I was told to call UPS & FedEx to set up a retrieval and if that was unsuccessful I would get a refund. I called back a week later and was told that they would open up a case and then I would receive my refund... Checked my online activity and nothing. Called again a week later rehashing the problem as well as the fact that now I was getting a bill for the items I never received... They apologized for the error and said they would issue me a refund and I should see it within 24-48 hours.
2 weeks later and another bill received still nothing... Now extremely frustrated as I ordered in July and it's now the end of September... I call again only to be told the solution was that I would not be receiving a refund for an online order. HOW COULD THIS BE A SOLUTION?? I vented to the agent I was speaking with who explained that this was my error and so they can't refund me... At this point I asked for a supervisor who to my dismay told me the same thing... I just can't fathom that the solution to this situation is for me to not get a refund after not receiving my items... Why am I paying for items that I never received? Is this my donation to Kohl's? Feels like I've been cheated... Not happy at all and extremely disappointed at this so called "SOLUTION " of theirs... There has to be a better way! If this is their solution I now know don't ever shop at Kohl’s because they just cheat their customers and make them feel like crap about errors made on their part.

Kohl's used to be a decent store to shop at with a friendly staff and great deals. They have progressively gotten worse in both customer service and in sales. Here are my last two/three experiences: I attempted to return men's underwear because they were the incorrect size; granted with no receipt, but had purchased them on my Kohl's Charge Card. These were unopened. They were originally $28, but buy one, get one (BOGO) half off, so I purchased two pairs, and I wasn't expecting a full reimbursement, I simply wanted to exchange them for the exact same thing but different size. They told me I couldn't exchange them because they were "different" even though they were identical except for the size.
Then, they insisted they couldn't find the transaction on my Kohl's charge, so I couldn't exchange, and then said they could only give me a store credit of $2 to put toward the correct size, because they had been on sale for as low as $2. Which is a lie, because these are the only brand/style of underwear that I've worn for over 5 years, and they are never on sale, other than the BOGO half off. I kept the originals and purchased the correct size based on principle. I couldn't see returning something that I paid ~$21, for $2.
Next time I had Kohl's Cash. I went to purchase a Chaps shirt that was on sale for $35, had $20 in Kohl's Cash, and a 30% off coupon. They rang the shirt out and said it was $23, I then said "and that included the $20 Kohl's Cash?" I was told I couldn't use the coupon with the Kohl's Cash, which was possible before, but is one of the many policies they have changed. I said "then I'll just use the 30% off then", with intent of using the Kohl's Cash on something else to optimize my coupon/Kohl's Cash. They informed me that I couldn't combine the Coupon with the sales price. I eventfully got frustrated and gave up. I needed the shirt for a work event the following day, so, I basically paid $23 for a shirt that was on sale for $35, when I had $20 Kohl's Cash.
My wife called management when I got home and told her the story. They said the item was marked incorrectly and that's why it wasn't ringing up correctly. The item wasn't actually on sale and their signage was wrong. They offered to reimburse me the money if I returned to the store, which I have yet to do, but doubt I will. I just won't be shopping there anymore. Neither will my wife. I've been a Kohl's Most Valued Customer and credit card holder for over almost 15 years and won't spend another dollar in any of their stores. They hike their prices for 24-48 hours then put them on "sale" which is the same price or more expensive as every other retailer. Done with them, and you should be too!

I dont shop at Kohl’s often but my son wanted some specific jeans. They were advertised and a sign next to product saying you could save more on the item if applying for Kohl’s credit. Of course I didnt save anything at all because after I applied they told me that that product doesnt qualify. I made my first payment ok even though website was not user friendly. The second payment I set up ahead of time. I kept waiting for it to be deducted from my account.
So 2 days after the due date I called to check why my payment wasnt showing up. She acted like I just didnt pay it. She did agree to deduct the late charge only if I paid off the complete balance. I did since it was just 60 and I only planned to pay 30 this month. Hopefully this payment that I set up on the phone with the lady actually got set up. Never had so much trouble setting up a damn payment before. To me it was worth not dealing with the confusing website and being treated like it was my fault that the payment that was set up got messed up. Their prices are higher and the customer service is terrible and it seems there is a long list of items that you cant use your so called savings on. It took nearly a month to get the refund issued. I was told that the reason they did not process the order was because I had gotten married and there was a hold on the card through the fraud department. I went into a Kohl's brick and mortar store and updated everything with the fraud department the beginning of September.
After trying to place this order three additional times, speaking with Kohls.com, customer service and the fraud departments at least 3 additional times and being transferred from department to department, I decided to close my account! I even chatted online with a Kohl's representative and was told to talk to my local store manager and the manager would work it out.
I did that and the manager refused to do anything. Therefore Kohl's LIES in its advertised policy stating that everything purchased there is returnable. The most stressful part of planning my wedding was the registry I set up at Kohl's. Below is the list of issues my husband and I had before and after our wedding: 1. We had over 10 broken dishes in two different shipments that were sent to us. Staff refused to offer us an exchange and said they could only offer us store credit for what was paid for the items. Since the items were purchased with a 30% off coupon, we were not given enough credit to repurchase the broken items and had to pay for a portion of our own gifts.
2. Four platters were missing from the order of dishes my aunts bought for us. The Kohls.com employees were unable to send me these items, and instead made me contact my aunt and have her call them to have these items sent. 3. When my aunt contacted Kohl's to tell them I did not receive the platters and to have Kohl's resend them, Kohl's told her the platters were returned by us. This was absolutely not the case, since we had never received any platters. 4. We received a decanter with no receipt, so we do not know who it is from and cannot send a thank you card. Of course Kohl's could not tell me who sent it.
5. There were several items purchased on our registry right before my shower in May that we never received. When I brought this up to the Kohls.com supervisor, Erica, she very condescendingly stated that obviously these items were purchased by guests who are planning on packaging up and sending these items themselves, or bringing them to the wedding. I explained that since this is a destination wedding, I highly doubt guests will be flying with large items, nor will they be packaging up martini glasses and other glassware and sending these items themselves. It makes absolutely no sense, but the Kohls.com supervisor refused to look into the issue, show me any empathy, or offer me anything for my troubles.
6. It is 2 weeks after my wedding now, and we still have not received the items that were purchased off our registry in May. I called and spoke to another supervisor, Andres, and was told there is nothing they can do unless I have a tracking number or know the name of the individual who purchased the items. Apparently there is no way for Kohls.com to look up any of this information. Ridiculous! Since I am not going to contact all 100+ wedding guests of mine and ask them if they bought us any of the missing gifts, Kohl's gets to keep the money for the items we never received and the guests who bought them will never receive a thank you card from us.
*It is very embarrassing and downright rude for me to be asking friends and relatives if they sent me anything, telling them the items they bought were not sent, and not being able to send thank you cards to gift givers. DO NOT REGISTER at Kohl's as their customer service and lack of empathy makes having a registry a nightmare.

I will start by saying I am a loyal and regular Kohl's customer and have been shopping in the store and online for over 15 years and have had the status of MVC (Most Valuable Customer) every year because I spend so much money with this company. I recently had the worst customer service that I have ever experienced with any company. I ordered 3 items online and when my package arrived 2 of my items were not in the bag and 2 items that I didn't order were enclosed. I immediately called the customer service because I not only wanted this fixed but I also needed one of the missing items for a special family photo. A helpful associate assisted me and in filing a complaint, gave me a reference number, and told me that I would probably hear from them via email within 24 hours but I could call back and check the status at any time.
After I had not heard from them in 36 hours I called to check because I wanted the situation corrected asap and I needed the correct items sent to me asap. When I called back I was connected with a representative that I could not clearly understand and he kept wanting me to reorder the items and pay again without any assistance for the problem I called about. I ask to be connected to a supervisor and I had to practically demand it before he would do so. I was put on hold for over 45 minutes and was finally hung up on when an automated recording thanked me for calling and said goodbye. I immediately called back and had to reexplain everything to another representative before I could even speak to a supervisor. I then had to reexplain to the supervisor and he told me he would escalate my situation to red status and I should hear from someone in 24-48 hours.
About 30 hours later I got an email wanting the UPC codes and for me to reexplain again that had happened. They recommended I take the items to my nearest store for correction. I explained to them that the nearest store was a 45 minute drive one way from my house and they didn't have the items I ordered in the store which was the entire reason I ordered online to begin with. Out of frustration, I drove the hour and a half round trip drive to my nearest store and had to explain to an associate and manager what had happened and show them the email from customer service before they would return the items. I ended up reordering the items which did not arrive in time for pictures. After all of this hassle, frustration, time lost on telephone calls, and driving to the store, I was offered a 15% discount on my next order!
What a joke! I almost always get 30% coupons in the mail and get free shipping because of my MVC status or I order so much I qualify for free shipping. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I've spent over $600 with Kohl's in last two weeks and I always pay my card off every month so you would think I would have been treated a little better. I've never filed any type of complaint like this but I want people to know what to expect and that customer service is not what it once was.

Their excuse was "all of our bills and your credit card came back to us so we were unable to collect our money". Ahhhh. First off I've been at the same residence for 21 years... And my phone number has never changed... And I've NEVER had any mail returned to the sender. Try calling me and leaving a message that I have an outstanding bill... Now they tell me that I have to despite this but first I have to contact my mail carrier... Until now I had perfect credit. So much for "EXPECT GOOD THINGS". You made unnecessary work for me and you froze my major credit card that had several auto payments attached to it that are now compromised because of your stupid and unnecessary move... BEWARE!

I looked into it and tracked my order. They charged me $30. For shipping, separated my order said one will be here today which is Tuesday and the other would be here within a week?? I called to complain and wanted to be reimbursed some money for the shipping. I ordered everything together. They separated my order and tried to tell me I ordered it that way? I ordered it at the same time and paid for it once all together so how did I order that way?? So disappointed that they wouldn't refund me some money for the extra I paid for shipping!! I will never shop here again. Mind you this is my first time shopping here and my last!! Should have stuck with Amazon. They have the best customer service I've ever dealt with. Kohl's is the worst ever and they just lost a customer!!

Kohl's reported the case to credit Bureau and damaged my credit score badly. I contacted customer service and Kohl's is unwilling to remove the inaccurate information even it was Kohl's fault. On three different trips to Kohl's they have each been less than enjoyable and even disturbing. They stopped playing inspirational music. The next trip I noticed the same thing. Then the lady putting back clothes acted like I was in her way. No, "excuse me". Just brushed by. The next trip my daughter and I went into the ladies room and a male customer rushed by me into the Ladies dressing room. I immediately went out to tell an associate and was informed that men are allowed to use our dressing room.
Today I tried one last time. Again I was almost run over by an associate as if my shopping were an inconvenience. One associate in the jewelry department was complaining very loudly about, of all things, a shopping experience. Using his outside voice stated, "I was so pissed!" I walked straight to check out. I am an MVC customer which the cashier never acknowledged. So sad to see that Kohl's stopped caring. I am considering other clothing manufacturers that are more family friendly for my future purchases.

After not receiving I contact Kohl’s customer service via email, no response 2xs. I went online to try to call and could not find a number but saw I could chat, Kohl’s said it was delivered and would open an "investigation" and send me an email. Two days later I received an email telling me to go walk the streets to look for the pants around my neighborhood. AZ in the summer gets as hot at 120. The thought of asking complete strangers, and I also just had surgery and using a knee scooter, was scary and painful.
Kohl’s has refused to send the order to me and refused to send the shipping costs that I paid. The pants cost 26 and they gave me a refund of $7 since I used some Kohl’s cash on the whole order. They divided it up, now I'm out the Kohl’s cash and shipping. The customer service is horrible and I will not shop there ever. Hope this helps anyone deciding to buy anything w/them.

I purchased a Serta cooling gel mattress topper from Kohl's. Upon opening it I found what I thought looked like mice droppings, my husband thought it looked more like bed bugs. I immediately had issues with Kohl's denying the return because the item comes vacuum sealed in a box and now was the size of a queen bed therefore could not be placed back into the box/resold. I returned it after several days of arguing. I still (over a month later) do not have my refund.
When I contact customer service I am either told to wait up to 7 days for my refund or they act like they have no idea what I'm talking about, and it's my first contact with kohl's in regards to this matter. I have contacted Kohl's over 40 times and my refund is still not on my card. I am being charged interest for a purchase that was defective and therefore returned. Customer service is NO help and has forced me to go back to the Kohl's store several times and the Kohl's store points to the online/corporate customer service. When I spoke to the supervisor he said that there was not a "grace period" and that I owed it. We always heard that Kohl's customer service and return/refund policies were crap, but never believed it until now. We had two problems back to back. 1st the moron cashier failed to add the gift cards we repeatedly told him we had, he lied and said he had already scanned. We didn't notice he did not scan crap until we got home, then we had to return next day to get price adjustment. "Customer service" rep was rude, refused to give refund back to our credit card because main "account holder is not present." We brought back all the items with the tags still attached plus the original receipt and had the credit card we used for purchase literally in our hands and Kohl's "policy" is too bad. We overcharged you, you won't get your money back if account holder isn't there.
I have personally made returns for friends and relatives who were unable to make it to stores like Macy's to return and never had any issues. All I had to do was insert or swipe the cards they gave me and they all got their money back yet for some reason Kohl's will not refund the amount back onto your card unless you're there in person. Forget their crap "hassle-free return" shtick, they will either 1. Refuse refund/return, 2. Refund you store credit even if you have receipt, or 3. Refund you only partial amount if the item you're returning is no longer on sale. So they jack up the price of the item and expect you to take the hit by repaying you less than what you paid for?
Why deny the refund if their stupid cashiers overcharge you? Why deny the refund if you have the card used for purchase right in front of them? Why deny the refund if you bought back all the items still tagged? Why deny the refund if you still have original receipt? You mean these idiots can't just let you insert or swipe the card so their computer can just refund you or the account holder the money owed you? They overcharge then tell you they won't give you your own money back. Thieves.

I called them very upset and said why didn't they mail me a letter before suspending an account. They said they had to email everything. I said, "So why didn't you email this letter." Since they did mail me this letter it would have been better customer service to mail me a letter saying if this is not paid by a certain date they would suspend my account. I was livid that they would go so overboard by suspending my account through collections over $11. I talked to customer service and a manager and they both acted like they didn't care. When I first purchased a credit card through Kohl's it was brought to my understanding that I would not be charged interest so I have paid faithfully on my payments until each purchase was paid off in full with them. So I buy a coffee pot for 129. On my credit card and on my statement I notice they charge me interest so I called the manager up to find out why that is and I was told that I signed an agreement and that they charge interest no matter what and less you can pay the merchandise off in full all at once. I said to her well what is the reason for getting a credit card then if I could pay for the merchandise off all at once? It doesn't make sense at all. So I closed out my credit card with them and I will not reopen it. I have good credit and have been faithful in my payments. I don't understand why companies can't be more faithful in how they deal with the customer in what they say to them to try to get them to open up a credit card.
Also there should be a understanding of some sort where if you are late on a payment then charge interest or give a 6 month interest free on credit card until the merchandise is paid off in full by making monthly payments. The manager was not very understanding of the situation. Tried to over talk me several times to prove her point. Tried to tell me that all credit cards charge interest in all companies no matter what they tell you. I really didn't appreciate the overall talk that I had with her. I wasn't even given credit for being on time with my payments much less alone given credit for making my payments with this store. I am done with this store.

I have been having trouble getting my account 'up to date' even though I pay CONSTANTLY, serious every two weeks. Well, I got a collection call from Kohl's just now, and they wanted 3 times the normal payment because of no payments for 2 months. I asked why, my bank account showed the payments clearing. They said I'd have to talk to my bank about that because a bank I NEVER HEARD OF put a stop payment on those payments I scheduled, and they never were credited. I asked why my statements showed them crediting, and they said they didn't know. I was talking to collections, and only customer service could help me with that.
So I asked to be transferred to customer service, needless to say, after holding, giving my info, and waiting again, I was told only collections could answer my question. Only a collections supervisor, specifically. So I asked to be transferred to one. I was, gave my info AGAIN and waited and was told she would look into it. And I was disconnected.
So, some bank I never heard of is 'stop paymenting' on payments that MY BANK and the KOHL'S STATEMENT shows as cleared. But, I am 3 months late, and owe payments and penalties on the late balance. What? Of course, I had told the supervisor who disconnected me that I wanted to close my account. That's probably why she disconnected me. I wonder if when I go to the store, they'll tell me they cannot close my account. They have been willing to do NOTHING at the store about this, said I have to call myself. Terrible customer service and what's with a bank I never heard of having power to 'stop payment' on my scheduled payments? I don't believe it. They're just funneling it into some other account and this is the cover story. Awful.

I purchased them because the one I had broke and I purchased two with the intent of having my daughter help me decide which would be best for me. In the meantime my kids told me I should call Fitbit regarding my broken one which I FINALLY did! By that time it was past their one year warranty but THEIR customer service was exceptional and they sent me a new one therefore I no longer needed the two I purchased from Kohl's.
I had my receipts and the items which had never been opened and went to the store to return them. I was informed that they were premium electronics and only had a 30 day return policy. I ordered them online and never saw anything that indicated that. Once again I was thinking about this fantastic return policy they have anything, anytime for any reason. The gals in the store were nice enough and they even told me it was a new policy initiated during the holiday season but there was no way for them to override the return and suggested I try calling Kohl's.com.
I proceeded to do that and was given the same story. Who knows if the policy was even in place when I purchased my items. I am very frustrated because I have been a very good Kohl's customer for a very long time and I'm sorry but I'm SURE there's some way to override the issue. They don't even have to credit my card. On that same evening, I called them due to having an issue with Kohl's previously with shipping to correct address. I checked my order confirmation to see where the address was shipping to. Once again the order was being shipped to South Carolina instead of Florida.
When I called, Kohl's sent a new order that same evening with a new order to be sent to my correct address in Florida, On October 1, I also manually changed it on my laptop as well~ just to be sure my shipment arrived. In addition, the people we sold the house to knew us as well, and knew our address as well, as well as the post office forwarding all mail. Due to error on part of Kohl's, all packages ended up in South Carolina instead of Florida. Boy, what a mess! I received shipments from old address that Janice our postal lady charged us $3.00 to $7.75 for postage on two packages. After that I asked Janice my mail carrier I wasn't accepting any more packages from Kohl's with postage when Kohl's knows where I live now. However, I had sent (2) packages of shipments back that actually went back to the corporate office with Janice my mail carrier.
Moreover, the bath rug set never arrived on one shipment. During which time I spoke with Mike, Scott about changing address @ Kohl's, supervisors from Kohl's that I spoke with are: Sherri, Edward, Kay~ representative not claiming to be a supervisor. Staff claiming they're going to be expediting the $162.12 quickly back to me are: Rose, Monica, Mike John, Kay again, and Octbio. Before speaking with Octbio in April, I went to the Lady Lake store in Florida by my hometown where I shop in store and explained briefly the situation to a supervisor named Kathy **. She went beyond customer service and called Kohl's.com and spoke with many representative.
Finally speak with a supervisor named John which I have spoken with previously. Everyone promised me expediting priority but nothing. Although, John gave me a case #. Since back in March, nothing! The last I heard from Octbio, it was 4-21-2017. This has been going on (8) months since October 13, 2017 and still no money back! The total amount owed to me is for all the towel (blue, green, orange, & brown), the seaside towels were only shipped on one order, therefore no money due, and the rug bath set only one set was delivered as well~ for a grand total of $131.98. I can't understand why I as a customer have to work many hours to research the incompetence of a large retail department store such as Kohl's when I am handicapped person with severe medical conditions not needing all the aggravation of being taking advantage of. I'm actually surprised at how horrible Kohl's is, at least placing an order from their website. It has all turned out to be a very frustrating experience. Placed an order for an item on a wedding registry. Just before finalizing the order I wanted to make sure it was being shipping to the wedding couple and not me. I clicked on the shipping tab for the order and it showed... their name and info. I then tried to go back to finishing the order and I couldn't. I had to start over. Entered all the info again. It asked me to provide an email address. I did and it said I had an account and needed to log in. I logged in and of course had to go thru the entire order process for the third time. Took me 30 to 40 mins to order an item but I got it ordered.
Next day received an email showing that it was being shipped to my house and not the wedding couple. Went to the website and did the 'chat'. After talking to the person at least 15 mins he confirmed that it had been shipped to the wrong address but said there was nothing he could do and I'd need to call the customer service dept. I called and evidently they have outsourced it to India. Could hear what sounded like hundred of people talking in the background. Also every time I spoke I heard my echo... really bad. The lady told me a mistake had been made and that it was too late to cancel it and I asked if I could just reorder it and return the first one when it came to my house. She said she didn't have the address in the wedding registry and had no way to get it. She also said I couldn't reorder it from the registry since it was now showing as purchased. She gave me no option to solve anything.
Afterwards went to Kohl's website to complain about the entire thing... could not find a link. Finally found a link and on the page it sent you to it asked what the problem was about and wanted you to enter your name and email address. I did all that and clicked on the 'Go' button and it would just take me back to this same page asking me to enter my name, email address etc. It was just a loop. Horrible, horrible. Surprisingly horrible and I have to think experiencing this that this company is on the way down and probably out if they can't fix this mess. Horrible website and then incompetence. I will definitely stay away from this place in the future.

In February of 2015 I was notified by my credit report that I had an unpaid late charge on my Kohl's account. I had purchased some items from Kohl's during a tumultuous time in my life. We were moving, we were getting ready for our first child, and my grandfather had just passed. Usually if I have items that are unpaid, I would get an invoice, a phone call, letter, something to let me know I had unpaid items. I received absolutely nothing. The only notification I received was from Equifax months later telling me I was charged 30 days late on my Kohl's. I have never been late with any payment in my life. I was complete shocked, and called Kohl's immediate to pay off the entire amount. I couldn't believe that there was no notification from Kohl's about this charge.
My wife and I are attempting to purchase a home, but this negative mark has stopped us from getting a rate that we can afford. This will ultimately stop our chances from getting our home. I have never had a late payment with Kohl's other than this one (or any other company I've dealt with). This occurred during a very stressful time in my life, but regardless of this one time mistake, the Kohl's company has not been accommodating. Everyone makes mistakes, and I could completely understand if I was a repeat offender, but I am not. It was an honest and simple one time mistake.
I have asked Kohl's for forgiveness, but they are not interested in excusing a long time, loyal customer. I find this very odd since all other companies are aware mistakes can happen, and are usually open to working with the client to forgive a one time event like this. I find it selfish and greedy that there is no way to come to an agreement. This is why I am starting a universal ban on Kohl's stores, asking everyone out on all social media sites to join me.

I decided to buy my daughter's Easter dress offline because I couldn't find anything in the stores. I ordered a pretty coral color dress. I placed my order on Thursday night April 6 and didn't receive the item until April 14 which was the schedule delivery date two days before Easter. When I got home from work I knew the dress should be at my house. Got home and my daughter was so happy to finally get her dress. When I picked up the bag I knew it felt too light but I just let that pass and figured they had it wrap tight. When I opened the package it was a man's shirt, nothing I ordered.
I called Customer Service and the woman said to send it back and they will get the dress out to me. How? I told her, "I don't want the dress anymore." I needed the dress for Easter in two days. They can keep the dress so I asked, "How do I send the item back so I can get my money back?" She asked if there was a store I could go to. I told her, "No, there is no store near me." (Kohl's is about 30 minutes away from my house. I not driving to that far in traffic, wasting gas, and they're not going to reimburse me for my gas).
So she said I could ship it back FedEx or DHL. So I asked, "If I ship it back will I have to pay for shipping?" She didn't sound too sure but just said I would get my money back for the dress and shipping and handling. (No miss I'm not paying for any shipment when this was my mistake.) I'm send the dress back tomorrow and I'll see if they try to charge. But what I don't understand is that I order a child's dress. How did you get a man's shirt out of that? Not only that if you go any department store men clothes is not near girl clothes. So disappointed and will not buy another thing from their store again online or in-store.

I ordered four items with Kohl's. The first item was a Rumba Vacuum, next was a balance ball chair, next was with a humidifier, and last a gift wrap holder. The two orders I had problems with was the humidifier and chair. I ordered the humidifier February 20 and it was supposed to arrive February 24-27, it never showed up. I called Kohl's twice and paid March 8, for shipping price of the Balance Ball Chair (paid item through Kohl's Cash), and paid for the humidifier. Suddenly out of the blue the humidifier came March 20, in a nice not weather damaged box. Then I called Kohl's and let them know my order has arrived. Then they charged me twice, for the same item. I paid it and asked Wells Fargo to dispute one of the charges. They charged me again on Thursday April 6, via an email with a $25.00 credit check fee. I paid it and immediately closed my Kohl's account.
I called Kohls.com at the store and they said I owe over $400 with several transactions saying all have been declined. Wells Fargo has record of all transactions except for Thursday. I submitted my receipts to my mother Marilyn **, her email address is **, she has a printer at home and to my caseworker Karen **, at ** at AccessAbility Incorporated. I also submitted my receipts to the MN Attorney General's Office.

I just received an email that my Kohl's account information was updated and that an order to the tune of $119.82 was going out to my new address in Tarbo, NC. Funny. I do not remember moving to NC. So I called the number, gave them the account and all the info, but because the card was in my wife's name, they needed to talk to her. OMG - they don't care that my card was compromised at their store. They want to talk to my wife. I told the lady my wife was working but she did not care. She would not do anything until speaking to my wife. GREAT CUSTOMER service Kohl's and so much for your customer's fraud protection. Mark your name up with the other's that have had their systems hacked.

I went on the website to chat with someone from Kohl's regarding a price adjustment. I have done this in the past and had no problems. In fact it was a pleasant experience before anyway. I purchased a crib and a mattress, a present for our new grandchild, our first grandchild to be exact. I set it up to be delivered to our daughter whom lives in another state. This is one of the reasons I purchased online so that I would not have to worry about sending a gift to her.
In the past I have had wonderful experience purchasing online and reliable delivery of what was purchased. Anyway on to my disappointing experience with Kohl's. The two items I purchased went on sale the next day so I went on the website to talk to someone about getting an adjustment. I was informed that because the item I ordered was exclusive item, it was not eligible for price matching - this is actually what was said to me from Tim at Kohl's whom lied to me about his supervisor, told me it was a male and then gave me the name of a woman.
For those of you unfamiliar with Kohl's the reward points offered are equivalent to $5.00. That is what my loyalty is worth to Kohl's. I am so disappointed in Kohl's and I will no longer shop online with them and at this time I am not sure I will shop or do as much shopping as I have in the past. This is sad because as I have stated I am a new grandparent and it would have been so nice to be able to purchase items and ship them to the new baby.

Looked at the receipt with items, and it looked like I had paid for it when ordered, which is what I usually do, so didn't think anything of it. I then left on vacation on 1/16/2017, returned home on 3/5/2017 to 3 phone messages on my landline which I couldn't understand. So called Kohl's and they said I never paid??? So why did you wait so long to call me, and why no bills. They say I never changed my address or phone number when I moved 3 years ago. I say I did. Now they want about $200. Finally after speaking with Gabby and supervisor Carlos, which I could not understand what he said. I finally had to pay $134 dollars to stop collection. I had this account for at least 20 years, never paid late, yet had to pay over double the amount. Too rude people. No less. Will never shop with Kohl's again.

When I checked the status of my order it only had one item for 2 day and everything else was standard. So I paid $17 shipping for a pair of $20 shorts instead of the whole $268 order I placed. I needed these items for my kids for vacation. They offered no solution to fix other than when the clothes come which will be while I'm on vacation to send them back. They have put me in a bind because I'm out the money on the clothes until the items are returned money that I could have used on my vacation. I'm literally in tears. I had to call Customer Service back several times before I could get someone to help me, and then they never did what they said. I had to apply for a new card. I mailed in the Rebate Forms for each mixer. KitchenAid said I was limited to one rebate per address. This was not disclosed except in VERY TINY print on the bottom of the rebate form. Kohl's Customer Service said it wasn't noted any place in their ads or online either. KitchenAid refuses to give me the $50 for the second mixer. If I would have put my daughter's address on the second rebate, she would have gotten it. This is deceiving the public and I'm not happy. I would return it but I would also lose some Kohl's cash. I have just placed a second order with kohls.com, which was rejected. The reason? My billing address is my home, but the shipping address is my job. Why is this an issue in the 21st century? To their credit, the two reps I spoke with in Customer Service and Fraud Protection did their best to rectify the situation. However, for the second time in less than one month, this led me to not place my order again because the main item I wanted sold out (within not even 8 hours), and their antiquated internal system could not tell them or me when (or if) it would return. The only way they or I would be able to confirm is to keep checking kohls.com, which is highly inefficient. I had the same experience with another order last month.
It is a shame that in this day and age, their online vs brick-and-mortar experience is highly disjointed. The fact that a Fraud Protection rep had to have a conference call with the Customer Service rep and me to document in my account the reason for two different addresses is unacceptable. Their website has a clearly-marked option to use if your shipping address is different from billing, but the execution of said option apparently does not translate to the back end. They did offer me a 20% discount on a future order, which I indicated would be highly unlikely to occur. Even utilizing this will be difficult - to use it in store, the cashier has to call a special number and speak to an online Customer Service Manager to activate the discount.
My local stores always have horrendous queues, whether with a regular cashier or with Customer Service; what should be a simple activation of a discount from their own corporate office opens up the possibility of creating a negative impact to any customers who are unfortunate enough to be waiting in line behind me. If you've made it this far in my review, I'm sure you're wondering why I just don't shop exclusively in store. This is because their stock of plus-size (a term that I think should be eliminated) items are well-made and the selection is more robust online; they do have good prices when they have sales. However, I've tried numerous times to see if an item online was available in store, but they are often not (not even within a 100+ mile radius). Once (or in this case, twice) bitten, twice shy. I no longer am looking forward to utilizing their website, and will shift my money and focus to stores where I can pick up items in person.

I recently moved to GA and now I'm close to a Kohl's department store so I've tried it out three times and now will never go back due to poor customer service. 1st time I went in was to buy a belt for my husband. As I was looking for the right size a 49+ year old worker excused herself as she started throwing belts on the floor to organize and add more. I then moved to the other side to see the selection there but she followed and pulled those belts as well. Never asked if I needed help. I assumed it was a one time Incident and left. Gave it another shot... This time was looking in the Nike section for outfits for my daughter... Same thing!!! Moved racks around while I was looking. At least she was polite and said, "Excuse me but I have to get these moved." I couldn't believe it happened a second time.
One last try!!! Hesitated going in... So to be honest was probably looking for something to go wrong. As always clerks asking if in need help as they are moving by at the sound of light, or clearly busy pointing, "Over there ma'am..." As they stock it push carts. I needed shoes and thought this has to be an easy purchase. Sizes and styles were all messed up... Walked all over to find out if someone could see if the shoes I wanted were in stock... Found someone who said it was not their department. Asked another clerk and they said, "Just go online and order..." Omg!!! Never again will I go into a Kohl's! Especially in Acworth Ga!

I absolutely cannot believe how long it has taken me to return two pieces of defective wall art to Kohl's. Just got off the phone with my leasing office for the ninth time because UPS won't pick up the packages because Kohls.com hasn't sent the shipping label. This is after two months worth of phone calls to Kohl's requesting the labels, every single time they tell me that the labels have been sent to UPS. If I ship them back another way, they will charge me. I cannot believe the lack of brain cells that the Kohl's employees I have spoken with have.
I wanted ONE piece of wall art -- it came broken. I ordered it in late December. I attempted to ship it back and it's STILL sitting in my leasing office. I have had two problems recently. Just like a previous reviewer, I had an extremely aggressive sales clerk who did not even ask if I wanted a credit card. He said to go ahead and get the credit card, and just pay it off all at once. I couldn't believe it.
My second problem is that this week I had two different reps at their call center tell me two completely different things about the status of my online order. My order status said the package could not be delivered. So the first rep said she had it "intercepted" and it would be redelivered. She confirmed that it was definitely NOT going back to Kohl's, and I would get the order. When nothing changed on the status, the next day I called and the 2nd rep said it WAS going back to Kohl's. October 11th 2016 I placed an order with Kohl's over the phone with a "sugar sweet" agent using my Kohl's cash. After a few minutes I received an email saying it was cancelled. I called their 800 number again and placed the same order again with another "honey sweet" agent. While trying to place the second order the agent told me she cannot use the Kohl's cash I used for the previous order which was immediately cancelled as it has not been returned back and it may take up to 48 hours for it to be returned. I could use only $112 out of the $900 I had in Kohl's cash. The second order went thru shipped and delivered but from that day till today my Kohl's cash of $787 was never returned to me.
I kept calling Kohl's 800 number but every time I was told that this is not the right concerned department and I was transferred to all kinds of departments among which none had the authority to issue my credit back to me. I was asked to file a complaint online which I did and after a few refuels I got an email saying "The credit is approved and has been mailed out to you" and I will receive it within 30 days. Nothing ever arrived. In one email they are saying the credit will be issued in email and other email saying credit will be sent in mail. I really don't want to think this way but it is forcing me to think that it was a corporate level fraud, they try not to send customer's credits. Please also note here that according to the emails Kohl's team has completed their investigation and approved my credit.
Here are some reference numbers I want to provide which are of the conversations I had with various customer service associates at different times who kept rolling me to other departments and finally after 3-4 hours of staying on the phone with them the line gets disconnected. ** 3rd November 2016 **. From October till January (3 months) I kept emailing and calling Kohl's asking about my money but every agent had his own story. I had no choice but to believe each of them, spent hours each time without any result. I felt like begging for my own money from a bunch of frauds. Among the many conversations I had with their 800 number team one of the incident happened on 9th January 2017 the agent told me that since we are 2 days short of the 30 day time period I should have received my credit so if I call in 2 days he will be able to issue me credit over the phone.
Again I had no choice but to believe him and after more than 2 days when I called Kohl's 800 number the agent I was transferred to told me that this previous agent didn't know anything about the system and there is no way I can be issued credit over the phone and now the new story is blah blah blah. I spent a few hours again being thrown to one department and the other and finally I had to hang up as I had other things to do too. NO SOLUTION STILL. 16th January 2017 I gathered some courage and called again and this time employee # ** (later I was told by another agent that this number is not correct) told me he can help me place an order over the phone with the $787 and this way we will get rid of this problem and I will get some stuff from my long lost credit. I cannot describe the level of my happiness here. Together we placed order # **.
Additionally he told me he is making sure everything is ok and there is no chance anything wrong happens to this order, it will go thru etc etc. Also I asked him to add a note to my case that in case this order fails Kohl's still owes me $787 and the incident I have filed should not be considered closed. He read the note to me and I thought finally I found my angel now. Reference # **. After a few hours I received an email saying "SORRY WE COULDN'T COMPLETE ORDER". There were tears in my eyes now.
Although things seemed very dark I still gathered some more courage and called Kohl's after one day 18th January. With all sorts of apologies this agent said, "I can help you reorder," and we did it and this time he said, "I have contacted the fraud department and blah department and blah department and everything is clear so no worries, it will go thru." Reference # ** order # ** was placed and immediately got an email "SORRY WE COULDN'T COMPLETE ORDER". I was baffled, still didn't give up. Called again and was sent to fraud department, they clearly told me that even if they will try placing an order worth $1 it will be cancelled, they didn't tell me the reason why. Upon my begging and inquiring the lady agent transferred me to another department without any reason (probably just to get me off her head) and then from this department to that department.
I had to explain my story at least 15 times to all sorts of people till I was handed over to a lady in front of whom I started crying like a baby. Probably she got sympathetic and connected me to her supervisor who instantly gave me his name and personal extension number and told me he is connecting me to the "RELEVANT" department who will definitely take care of me and meanwhile if I ever have any problems I can use any Kohl's 800 or non 800 numbers and request for this extension to talk to him. The name he told me was Reed and extension **. I was then rolled to another department who again asked me all my information, incident story, apologized and put me on hold to investigate the already investigated incident. Anyways, as I said before, did I have another choice?? No.
Now there was another twist in the story, the lady associate said, "Since this is a lot of money we are doubting if how you earned this much Kohl's cash." I must provide the receipt of the items I bought which made me earn this money. I was totally disgusted, instead of easing a customer whom your company has been torturing for months you guys are suspecting as fraud and making me do another exercise to prove I did not forge this Kohl's cash??? Again had I any choice? No. I started looking all over my house for those receipts which sadly I couldn't find. Meanwhile she decided she was not the "RELEVANT" department and now she had to roll me to corporate which according to her was the supreme authority to issue my million dollars credit. I said, "Ok."
I don't know what was that relevant department as I was rolled to a computer machine saying press 1 if you want to speak to an operator (after I pressed 1 several times the same recording continued) enter the extension if you have (when I entered the extension of Mr Reed the machine said it is incorrect!!!). After about 10 minutes of this pressing game I had no choice but to hang up and try my luck from all over again. I went online and figured out the phone number of their corporate department and called them. Tried to put Mr Reed's extension but no luck, eventually ended up with the most ill-informed lady agent I have had encountered. After asking my information for the 20th time this one day 18th January, she went thru my case and somehow found a note saying the decision has been made today at 2:39 pm by Anthony ** and my credit has been mailed to me.
Now this seemed to be a big joke. If the decision was made at 2:39 why none of the agents saw it in notes whom I spoke to after 2:39 pm. How would I have trusted this. And even if I had trusted her what is the guarantee the money will actually be received? As this promise and decision was made earlier in November too. I asked her to give me something at least to keep a record of this decision. She said she has no authority to send me any email but she will ask the department who made his decision to send me an email (No email was ever received). Name of this lady was Martika **. This conversation ended 5:27 pm. As I insisted I want some evidence right now she decided to throw me off her head and transferred me to the "RELEVANT" Department.
This department asked me my information for 22nd time and started their investigation, meanwhile after about half hour of this the call went to another agent by itself who could not hear me and kept saying if he does not hear me in the next 30 seconds he has to drop the call. Drop the call, drop the call and it was hung up. By this time it was evening and I had to feed dinner to my kids and I had to give a pause to this calling game. Can I get some actual help? Can someone be fair to me and give my money back to me?? Awaiting easy justice.
