Kohl's is obviously a fantastic retailer (one of my favorites in fact... I'm always recommending Kohl's to friends, acquaintances and business professionals) which is why I first checked Kohls.com this holiday season before spending a ton of money at my online favorite retail giant... Amazon. What a nightmare (and huge disappointment) my purchase experience at Kohls.com was, shockingly so... mostly because it's 2015! I haven't seen these kinds of mistakes since the late 1990's. It appears that Kohl's has never hired a systems engineer to map the flow of orders in an efficient and effective manner (the way Amazon has).
I ordered 3 pairs of boots... The first email I received confirmed all 3 pairs would be shipped. My card was charged for the total amount for all 3 pairs. A few days later I received an email stating one of the boots was out of stock, but the other 2 would be shipped (I didn't receive a credit for the cancelled boot though... Amazon waits until the shipment is being prepared before charging your card). A few days after that, I received an additional email stating the 2nd pair of boots was out of stock (no credit was given for the 2nd pair of boots either). I became quite aggravated. I needed the boots very badly; now my boot money was no longer available to me because Kohl's had it tied up (and wouldn't release it).
It's now the day after Christmas with major sales taking place everywhere. The next shock was when Kohl's charged my card again for the 3rd pair of boots which were finally being prepared to ship (but I'd already paid for the boots over a week prior, so now even more boot money was being sucked into the black void). Ugh... I was so frustrated. I called Customer Service several times and was told I simply had to wait (I'd already been waiting very patiently but this was now so far beyond the norm. There had to be another solution).
When I finally had a block of time available, I called Customer Service back and explained I would stay on the phone until I had my money (this rep was phenomenal which brought back positive memories of why I love Kohl's so much). We were on the phone together for 1 hour and 45 minutes during which time we eventually called my bank and had a conference call so the bank could tell the customer service rep what she needed to do so that the bank could release my money; ten minutes after I hung up, my money was back in my account. Again, Kohl's stores are a wonderful place to shop... online is not the same experience though. The only hope is that one day Kohl's upper level executives will invest in a systems engineer to overhaul the flow of goods through their online channels.

For those of you that shop at KOHL'S. Over a month ago I ordered all my Christmas presents from kohls.com. Two hours later I realized I was sending the things I had just purchased to my old college apartment complex in REXBURG, IDAHO. I immediately called customer service who told me they couldn't help me and that I would need to get in contact with the shipper who they didn't know. SERIOUSLY? Okay. So day after day I'm calling FedEx, and UPS, and Kohl's, and the apartment complex and no one, NO ONE, is helping me. Finally I see that my things have been delivered so I call the apartment complex to see if they could come up with a way to get my stuff here before Christmas and they said "Oh we sent all your stuff back because you don't live here anymore."
So here I go again calling Kohl's, and FedEx, and UPS and NO ONE can find my things. At this point it's a few days before Christmas and I am without presents so I ask for a refund and they say they cannot issue it to me yet and that I would receive an email after they investigated. They told me this over a week ago and I still haven't received this magical email so I call kohls.com who tell me they will NOT be refunding my money because my stuff was delivered. So not only do they not believe me but I haven't heard ONE PERSON say "oh that sucks, I'm sorry." I am in disbelief that one of my favorite stores has put me through this much nonsense and have treated me with this much disrespect. I'm not much of a complainer but I'll tell you one thing I am NEVER shopping from Kohl's ever again. So ridiculous.

My name is Antonio and I went to kohl's last week in international mall and I tried to return a pair of Dr. Dre beats remix and I went to the cashier and asked her to please return them because my aunt gave them to me as a gift and she treated me very rudely and gave me attitude saying that those beats weren't from there and that made me feel like she was calling me a robber or criminal so I ignored her and I told my aunt to return them for me please and she went and tried to return them also.
And yesterday on the 12-29-15 the store manager named Damary was called and she as soon as she got there she started giving very rude attitude to my aunt and my aunt hadn't even talked yet and my aunt showed her the beats and the lady said "Oh, we're not exchanging those beats because they're made by David Guetta." and every time my aunt tried to talk she rudely interrupted and screamed at my aunt saying "We're not changing those headphones because I don't feel like it now." so we feel like that manager be replaced because we aren't the only ones making complaints. You guys should take action and change this because the public doesn't tolerate that and even the line heard her screaming and embrace my aunt in public trying to call her a thief in different words so please fix this because I won't shop there again and I will go again and check if she's still there giving attitude.

Reading through these reviews, I can see that a lot of people had the exact same experience I had this Christmas. I ordered about $200 worth of items, many of them were Christmas presents. Let me say I have been a longtime customer of Kohls and usually it is manageable. This time was the last straw. I received two items that were completely wrong. Someone else's Childrens toys (I can only assume it was a present for their daughter that I'm guessing they never received). Spent about 2 hours on the phone with 3 different customer service reps who did absolutely nothing to help me.
At the end of the two hours I finally got someone to agree that I should be refunded, since it was two days from Christmas and I 1) Received someone else's items 2) Still hadnt received $200 worth of items I ordered ON DECEMBER 2ND, almost 3-4 weeks before. Anyways, he said they would schedule a pickup for the wrong items (I told him I could bring them to the store since I work during the day and would never be there to hand them off to Fedex.) Still, I received 10 emails a day saying "failed to pickup" "pickup not succeeded" and that they could only refund my items if they received the wrong items. I returned the wrong items, still no refund on mine.
I emailed a customer service rep, each day a new person would email me back with a different response. Their most common one? "It says it was delivered, check at the neighbors". Well obviously it was delivered, TO THE WRONG PERSON, that's the entire point. At this point, I'm done trying. $200 down the drain. DO NOT ORDER FROM KOHL'S.

I placed an order on 11/30 for 2 products. On the day I was supposed to receive them I checked the status and the product was damaged and marked unable to deliver. I completely understand that and appreciate not receiving a broken product. I then called to see if was going to be possible to receive the item prior to Christmas as the products were gifts, this was on 12/11. The first CSR hung up on me while I was explaining the situation to her, I called back and the next CSR seemed to accommodate the problem and provide a solution. When I received the new order confirmation email, she had intentionally replaced my original item with a different product. Later I found out this happened due to Kohl's being out of stock of the 4 pc wine glass set I originally ordered.
I understand they were out of stock, but would the CSR did not tell me that, she decided that I should receive this other product that I did not order. When I called back a 3rd time, the newest CSR was very pleasant to talk to and explained that they are having problems with bad employees that DO NOT CARE if the customer is taken care of. After she appropriately explained everything that happened and what the other CSR did, I felt as my problem would be handled and would receive the refund for the 1 product that was out of stock.
Then she hung up on me as well. I called for the 4th time and spoke with another CSR and forcing myself to refrain from noticeably being upset explained everything. He handled it sorta, I was supposed to get my refund no later than 7 days. I called today, 17 days after the phone call, and was told it may take up to another 7 days because they have not processed the request yet. I have never received such horrible service in my life and WILL NEVER spend any money Kohls again.

I ordered a Venetian Electric Scooter on December 2 and by December 18, I still hadn't received it. So I called Customer Service and they informed me that the item had been out of stock since the day I ordered it! I got very angry and asked them why they took my money if they didn't have it!! As a single mother on disability and no child support, I had been saving whatever money whenever I could to buy this for my son!
They reassured me that it would be sent in 2 business days because they just received another shipment! It did not come in 2 business days and I actually didn't get it until December 22. By the time my son had opened it and rode it around, I noticed that they sent me the wrong one! They sent me a No-Brand name that is about $200 less than the one I ordered so now I have to send it back and wait once again on the right product! My son is so disappointed. It is sickening that this company thinks they can treat people this way and try to pull the wool over their eyes by sending a less expensive item. BEWARE of this if you bought one!!! EVERYBODY needs to check their item!!!

I have been constantly trying to place an order for $160 worth of Nike clothing but keep receiving a "Sorry, something went wrong, please try again later" message. I tried everything from re-ordering, confirming registration, site suggestions, restarting my laptop, and for the past 7 hours nothing has worked. I had no problems with ordering items off Kohl's.com last week. If I try tomorrow morning and it still persists then I will no longer be purchasing from them.

Kohl's has been a disaster to work with. We have worked with two stores involve Littleton and Lakewood. We were not able to get anywhere with anyone from either store including the store managers. I have ordered a product online and hope that I will received what I ordered. In trying to receive a refund Kohl's has screwed me out of money. The store manager has refused to make up the difference by handing me Kohl's cash which should I do not plan to use in the future and is only good for one week. I am very disappointed that Kohl's has decided to treat their customers the way they do. I am hoping to receive my Christmas gift from Kohl's as promised.

The total amount I have ordered was $582.99 and there was need to be minimum of $110.00 cash back. :) What you think? They just cancel the order themselves and telling me there was a problem with order and they cancel but no one could answer what was the freaking problem. No one knows. Offering me to place order again without Kohl's cash back and current active deal which is buying one and getting another item for free (buying stroller and car seat was free) so they just cancel the order which was new year's gift. Ordered all of our kids Christmas gifts online. They charged my debit card but didn't process the order. Called customer service was on hold for 1 hr only to get hung up on twice. Put in a second order. Paid again via phone. Wrong items shipped. Received 3 tables clothes instead of toys on Christmas Eve. Ruined Christmas for my kids. Every customer service representative I spoke to gave me wrong or contradicting information. They asked me for sku numbers and weren't even listening to what I was saying. They can't even follow basic directions. Now I have to wait 10 business days for 2 refunds. And that's if they are capable of processing it correctly, which I highly doubt considering they can't even hear numbers correctly. No refund and no Christmas gifts. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. Would never recommend!!!

I ordered an e-gift card through Kohls.com on the morning of Christmas Eve, thinking it would be a quick and simple last minute shopping purchase. Kohl's sent an automated email confirming my purchase after I placed my order, but they had not sent the e-gift card yet. After two hours of waiting to receive it by email, I contacted Kohl's customer service. The customer representative explained the e-gift card purchased had been blocked for possible fraud by their verification team. I thought that was strange, but I asked how can I prove that it was as a valid purchase (and billed to my credit card). The customer representative explained someone from their fraud department will contact me shortly by the contact information on my Kohls.com account.
After waiting another hour and a half with no callback, I contacted their customer service and asked if I could just speak directly with someone from their fraud/verification department. This shouldn't be so drawn out or difficult to resolve. This customer representative said that the verification department is closed today for the holidays and said I should have known this was the case because of the holiday schedule. What?? This is totally different from what was communicated from the earlier representative. And plus, their stores are still opened for the day.
I can understand limited work hours on the day before Christmas, but this was a simple e-gift card purchased online. Kohls.com makes no indication of online e-gift cards not being made available for purchase on 12/24, especially when their stores are still open at this time. And as a professional business, their online purchase process for gift cards should have an automated verification process, not wait till someone on their staff is available to push the e-gift card through via manual email. In the meantime, I cannot cancel my purchase order nor receive a refund. So basically I just gave Kohl's my money with nothing to show for it. Beware purchasing e-gift cards from Kohl's. Best to do at a store until they fix the online process and disclose when it is okay to purchase online.

They went from delivery dates last week to pending and still nothing. Delivery on 1 shipment is 12/29/15. 12 of the items are my grandson's presents. FedEx and Kohl's both have made my Christmas a very bad one. I will never order another item from Kohls.com only if they can ship ups. Koh'ls took the cheap way out. FedEx smart post to save money. I placed an order on Dec 10 and still have not received the package. It was shipped via Fedex on 12-10 and then the tracking stops on Dec 17. I spoke with a Fedex representative who informed me they are unable to track the package once it is sent to smartpost (USPS). I had them put a "trace" on the package but they still don't know where it is. They suggested that I call Kohl's and ask for a refund. I called Kohl's only to be told that due to the volume of packages the Fedex and postal service have, I must wait til Dec 29 to put a loss claim in to kohl's. I asked them to put a "trace" on the package but was told they could not do so until Dec 29.
I asked about cancelling my order but was told I could not do so until Dec. 29. The representative did make an attempt to see if my package was at the local post office but was unable to find any information. There was no indication on my order form that it would take up to Dec 29 to arrive. If so I would have ordered from Amazon and would have had it in 2 days. I feel mailing via smartpost (USPS) is probably cheaper for kohl's. There should be a way of tracking the package. I feel this is poor service and I will never order from them again.

I ordered a Bears sweatshirt for my son this year through their website. The shipping delivery date was for 12/7/15-12/11/15, on the 11th the delivery date was changed, and that was okay. When I still had not received it on 12/16/15 I called kohls.com to see where it was. I was told it is lost, it takes weeks to track, but if I would like I could re-purchase the sweatshirt and I will be refunded for the sweatshirt I did not receive in about a week.
Well I am a single mom supporting two children on a small budget, the only reason I got the sweatshirt was because I did not have enough money to pay for Christmas (so I applied for a Kohl's charge) and I was trying to give my kids the best Christmas ever because last year I was breaking free of a domestically abusive relationship and most of our things were gone or broken right before Christmas in 2014. Now I understand that is not Kohl's fault, but you would think that your reps could show a little more compassion considering I was not the one that messed up the shipping, I even went in and made a payment on my credit card the day before calling.
The first time I called the girl was okay but "in a hurry" - her name was Mary. The second time I called to try and resolve the issue I spoke with Octavia - who refused to put a manager on the phone, argued with me, WOULD NOT PULL UP MY ACCOUNT - then left me on hold for 20 minutes, in which I had to disconnect because my son had his Christmas Program.
BOTTOM LINE - I tried to resolve the issue two times with this company, I was not upset the sweatshirt was lost in the mail, I know that happens. I am upset because I called twice, which was a huge waste of my time. I tried to come up with solutions with the CSR so that both sides could walk away happy. I was very nice the first time I called when I spoke with Mary, I will not lie, Octavia was seriously making me angry so I tried to stay calm but there were points that I lost my temper. All I wanted was a small compensation for my inconvenience or have them ship me a new sweatshirt with no cost to me, but not refund the first sweatshirt. Either way - it was a complete turn off and I will not be doing business with this company again.

First let me start off by saying I have been a huge fan of Kohl's for years. Every year all of my holiday purchases have come from this company. Now here is where the issue starts. I went online to purchase 4 set of socks. When my order arrive it was wrong, so I phoned in and talked to a young lady. She then started a case for me. At that point they proceed to tell me I needed to drive to Kohls to exchange the item. I explained to the young lady that the reason I ordered the item online is because I do not have time to go to the store for a mistake that was not mine. Next she stated that she would send me a second set all I would have to do is purchase the item and they would refund it. So I did and it came back wrong again. Now this is the second time.
So I called and spoke with a lady that wrote down my name and number but no one ever called me so I had to email in the complaint. So I then called the corporate office to be told that there is nothing they can do. I never received a call or spoke with anyone in the true office. They transferred me back to the original like that I had spoke to in the first place. No manager, supervisor or anyone from this company cared enough to give me a call. Then I received a email telling me that I would have to purchase the right item again and pay for shipping and no refund. So they sent me the wrong item, which is the same item twice. But what really got me going was when I was told that I have to purchase the right item again instead of them doing what is right and sending me the right item.

I informed him of the problem and the fact that their company did not send me one of the items I had ordered. I then told him I would like the item shipped out immediately because this was a Christmas gift. He then proceeded to tell me that the item would be available, but he can only guarantee shipping between December 24 and January 4. I ordered a few items through Kohls.com this Thanksgiving. I was really thrilled because I ordered a HP All in One printer that was regularly $79.99 and I was getting it for $21.99. About a week later, my items arrive, but no printer. I contact Live Chat through Kohls.com and the representative was very friendly and kind to me. He informs me that he is sorry, but the printer was out of stock and that item on my order had been cancelled. I explain to him my frustration because I wasn't informed of the cancellation before speaking with him. I didn't receive any notification stating my printer was out of stock and that item was cancelled from my order. The Kohls.com representative tells me that once the item is in stock, which will be before Christmas, I can get the same item for the same price.
Fast forward to three days ago, I speak to another Kohls.com representative because when I went to Kohls.com it showed my printer on sale for $29.99, so naturally, I thought I was getting the printer. Nope, turns out the printer is still out of stock. I am frustrated and I ask if I could get a similar printer for the same price. The representative informs me that I can, I just have to pay for the order and then once I give him the order number, he will readjust the price. Well, unfortunately I am running low on funds around this time of year, so I wasn't able to make that purchase. He says that he is running out of time and he needs me to call the customer service toll free phone number and they will help me.
I call and speak to someone. We get a little way through my problem and she tells me she can't give me a similar printer for that discounted price because the printer I ordered is out of stock. When I go about describing to her the above two cases, she hang up on me. I am beyond frustrated at this point. I didn't call back because I was afraid I would really lose my cool, so I send a nice email stating my whole situation. I have gotten 3 emails so far. The first stating that they don't like hearing negative feedback, but they will pass it to Corporate and Management. My issue is still not resolved nor is it even addressed.
Then the next email is telling me they want to give me a 15% discount on my NEXT online purchase. I am sorry, but my originally issues haven't been resolved and after getting hung up on and told two different things, I don't want to shop on the website anymore. Plus, I get 15% coupons in the mail almost every week. I just want my printer at the price I was told I could get it for.
Then I get another email back stating, "While in most cases out of stock merchandise is reflected prior to the checkout process, there are situations when an out of stock item may not be evident until the order picking process. This can be attributed to high order volume, damages, etc. When an item is canceled before your order ships, you are not charged for that item. We do not charge your card until your order ships. As for the prices during Black Friday sale, we cannot honor the same price during that sale as it is our special one day sale." Yet another Kohls employee blaming me for their inventory being funky. I wasn't informed that the printer was out of stock until after I received the rest of my order and why would an inventory based website allow me to order and item if its out of stock?
I am really bothered by the fact that I was hung up on and none of the kohls employees I have talked to seem to address that huge issue. Never again will I shop at Kohls.com! It's been a month and I still have more hassle than resolution. I know I probably came across very rude and direct, but I am beyond frustrated at the way in which this situation turned out. I just want my issues solved and truly I want to feel valued as a customer. I am spending my hard earned money at a business. I want them to respect me as a customer and not hang up on me!

What kind of policy is that? So they will hold MY MONEY until I send back their ugly, cheap slippers? Never again, Kohl's.

I ordered a pair of boots and a Christmas ornament with my Kohl's cash. When I received them the ornament was broken and the boots were the wrong color. I called Kohl's.com and they said since I needed them right away, I would have to order them with my Kohl's charge. They said then I would have to bring the items into the store and they would credit my account back. So I brought them to the store and the store would only give me a merchandise credit telling me I would have to come back in once I received my items and then they would credit my account which is not what they told me on the phone.
So I called Kohls.com and after being on the phone for an hour, they finally credited my account. When I finally received my order again, the ornament was broken AGAIN! Now I have to go to the store for the second time to return it. I ordered online so I wouldn't have to go into the store and now I have to go TWICE and still don't have my item. I'm not even going to order the ornament again because at this point it will probably be broken again and it's too late for Christmas. When I sent an email to Kohl's, they were not sympathetic at all. I'm so disgusted with Kohl's!

I ordered an electric blanket for my MIL for Christmas. I live in Illinois and she resides in WA. Makes sense to order from kohls.com. Wrong. She was shipped bed sheets not an electric blanket. She had called as did I. They were not willing to ship the correct item till they receive the sheets back. This is so wrong. Now she will not have her Christmas gift for the holiday. She does not live near a store so returning in store is not an option. This was their mistake. I spent nearly an hour on the phone and now I'm having them send a return box and getting a refund.
I quickly ordered a replacement gift from Amazon in hopes she will get her gift in time. I will not be ordering from Kohl's again and as soon as my refund is received I will be closing the account. Very unhappy customer. I still do not understand why they didn't just ship the correct item when I called, inform them of their mistake. Mind you this is the second time in only 4 months this has happened to me. I should have known better but I have them a second chance. When I ordered my sons backpack for school they shipped me a mattress cover. Same thing, they refused to ship the correct item until they received back the incorrect order. What a mess.

I said yes to both and explained that I wanted the slippers and PJ's gift wrapped as I was having them shipped straight to my mom. I was given a confirmation # and told I would receive an email with order confirmation. I reviewed the email right away and noticed that the gift wrapping hadn't been added. I immediately called back and was assured by the customer service rep that gift wrapping had been added and that I would receive a modified order confirmation via email.
I reviewed the ''updated" email and it was the same, no gift wrapping added!!! Once again I called back and was told that there was nothing they could do at this point to modify the order as it had been over 30 minutes since the order had been placed. Now my mother's xmas gift is being shipped without gift wrapping. HOW MANY TIMES DOES A PERSON HAVE TO CALL TO GET A STUPID ORDER RIGHT. AND THEIR OH WELL ATTITUDE IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. They didn't send me two items I purchased. I contacted customer service and it took them days to get back to me. After going back and forth with them, they agreed to refund me the money. I asked for the items to be shipped instead and they said they couldn't do that, but that I could reorder them (if I could reorder them, why couldn't they ship them to me?). Then they refunded me the wrong amount of money. When I questioned them on that, they said they would refund me some with store credit (which was fine with me) but that they sent it in the mail and it would take 14-30 days! Then, I had received Kohl's cash for purchasing the items (and other items as well) and they took that away from me and deactivated it since they considered this a return (like I can return items they never sent me).
When I questioned them about this, completely explaining the situation accurately in my email, they had the nerve to tell me I went into the store and returned items I never received. So, in conclusion, their customer service reps don't even read the emails. They just find the quickest possible answer and move on to the next person. When that doesn't actually answer someone's question, they just ignore their follow up emails. So now, I am out the two items, still have not received full credit for my so called returns, and am out Kohl's cash, when I specifically bought extra things from them to go over the $50 needed to get Kohl's cash and free shipping. And no one will even bother to actually read my emails to see why I am upset. I will never shop with Kohl's again. Their entire customer service department is worthless.

I ordered items from Kohls.com on 12/4- should have been plenty of time for holiday delivery. I realized the following day that I had them sent to my office instead of home. I tried to call to change the address and was told that couldn't be done- it was already being assembled. It is now 12/15 and the website says my items have been shipped but the tracking numbers for ALL OF THEM don't have any delivery dates or even that they have been picked up from Kohl's- only that a label was printed. So there's no way to tell when or if these items will be delivered by Christmas.
Why I'll never order from this place again... for any reason: There should be a way to change a delivery address within 24 hours of placing an order. There should be a way to cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it. There should be real tracking numbers for packages, not fake information just to placate the customer. I don't even know if the items I ordered were actually in stock when I ordered them. One of the items I ordered says it was delivered, but was not. Because no signatures are required, who knows where it actually went. I got a credit for that one. The free shipping has turned out to be a disaster. Next time I order from ANY online company, I will pay for the fast shipping WITH signatures to avoid this drama. Free is NEVER free. Unprofessional doesn't begin to describe what's happening with Kohls.com. They may have gotten me this year, but I'm done. Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs.

After about a half hour of talking with this woman, I asked to speak with a manager. She refused. I tried. Along UPS and no surprise was told I had to deal with Kohl’s. There are a few issues I have had with Kohl's over the last year that has irked me. Mostly poor customer service. This most recent one pushed me to the limit and I needed to write a review. I ordered a ring from the online store and received an email confirmation that I would get another email when the item was shipped so that I could track it. This was important as it was a gift for my wife and wanted to make sure she did not see it. Well no email was sent and I called to see what the delay was as the date was the last day of the estimated delivery date. The customer service person on the phone told me that it had not been shipped as they were very busy (holidays, which I understand) but would notify me when it did. Well the same day, while I was out, the package did arrive and my wife signed for it.
Luckily she did not open it. However, when I open the box I was disappointed to see a ring that was not what I ordered or even what was on the packing slip. When I called their customer service number again I was told that they had run out of the item I ordered and that I could return the one I received to a Kohl's store and see if I could find what I wanted at another establishment. Because it seems like they will send you whatever they want (last time was a pair of shoes in the wrong size) if they are out of the item you ordered. I will not EVER shop on the site or in a Kohl's store again. This will disappoint my wife and she has been an avid shopper at the location near our home. I would not recommend shopping at Kohl's.

On December 1st, 2015, I attempted to place an order for a Christmas present for my husband (shoes). As part of my payment, I used a $25 gift card that was given to me, and the rest I placed on my debit card. While waiting for a confirmation on the screen after placing my order, it took me to a screen and showed it as if nothing was in my checkout basket. I thought it was strange, but still assumed it went through.
Yesterday I checked my debit card, and noticed that there was finally a charge from Kohl's for the shoes. Since I still did not receive any confirmation nor tracking information, I called Kohl's and spoke to a representative who basically told me there was no order and I'd have to recoup the money from my credit union. I pointed out that it was Kohl's who charged me. She continued to say that they could see I 'tried' to place the order, but it didn't go through, and since there was no order number, they wouldn't refund the money they charged me! I was shocked!
My husband contacted our credit union for help. The credit card representative called Kohl's (with my husband on the line.) The Kohl's representative gave them the same story. Finally, our credit union representative told Kohl's they would just handle it, and our credit union refunded me the money within a few hours. I am still out the $25 from the gift card. I have had a Kohl's credit card and have been a customer with them for almost 20 years. This happened hours ago, and I'm still in shock that not only were my husband, credit union representative, and I treated so poorly, but that Kohl's basically stole from me, and were not even the least apologetic for it. I did not use my Kohl's credit card for this purchased and after waiting at least 30 minutes to be waited on, the clerk told me I could exchange it for anything in handbag dept ONLY for exactly $60 not even a penny difference. So I proceeded to the handbag section and after searching for about an hour, I realized every item ended with a .99. For instance $49.99, $39.99 etc. That practically made it impossible to meet the return policy/criteria. After searching some more I came across one for $60. I took it to the register for an even exchange and the clerk told me I had to go back to customer service because they could not do the transaction because the item was on sale for $39.99. Went back to customer service and different clerk told me I was misinformed and was able to exchange it for anything in the store for exactly $60. It didn't have to be a handbag. Geez!
So there I go again to find something else in the store for exactly $60 and of course nothing was marked for that exact amount. They purposely made it impossible for me to make the exchange and I ended up receiving a $26.00 credit. I was so frustrated and no one seemed to care. I spend 4 hours in that store for nothing! A few days later, the clothes package was delivered by UPS, but the fitbit one was not. So I tracked it online, UPS says it's delivered. So I wait to see it might be wrong with tracking information. OK, in the next few days, the status was changed to "destination scan" forever, no delivery is scheduled. So I asked UPS customer service, they told me that package will be turned to USPS and USPS will deliver it because Kohl's choose some "economic ground shipping option". So right now I'm still waiting for the delivery.
I'm worried that this package might be lost and how should I request refund/re-shipping. After a search online, I realized this is not possible with KOHL's because their customer service is famous for doing nothing. My best hope is that the 2-weeks' delivery can be completed without trouble. Other than that, they have limited products to sell, and their price is always 30% higher than AMAZON, and their store credits are useless because they are deducted from the original price then the discount can be applied. Totally false statement. UPS and FedEx were making deliveries that day on my street. Called OnTrac customer service 12/1/15, Tuesday morning. Was told package would be delivered by 5:00pm that day. CSR said "driver was new, from Phoenix, and unfamiliar with the area." I live 8 minutes from their drop box on Speedway Blvd here in Tucson. Was told "They printed out a map for the driver, and gave her my phone number in case she had any problems." Package was not delivered that day. Online status stated "WRONG DELIVERY ADDRESS."
I called Kohl's customer service, no help at all, (they did verify shipping address, which was right on the order) said to call OnTrac again. Well, here it is Thursday, 12/3/15, and I just checked the online status, since I didn't get the package yesterday. The current status: "REDELIVER NEXT BUSINESS DAY" again. Kohl's does not care if they lose customers due to the shipping carrier they are using. They opened a "case" but the most they can do is cancel the order and refund the account in 14 days. If I were able to buy the merchandise any place else, I would. It is a Canadian brand not carried by local retailers, only Kohl's.com. Got outside and looked at receipt, pants rang up at 14.40 minus the f&f discount came to 10.80. Ticket on pants said clearance at 5.76.
Went back into customer service, guy at counter was extremely rude. First he said we weren't charged for the pants, even though they were on the receipt. Then he argued about the price. When I told him my mom didn't want the pants at the price charged she wanted them for the sale price, he returned the pants, slapped the refund on the counter, told me he was invalidating my kohl cash and then yelled for the next person to step up. I am sooo angry, I shopped online at Kohls.com and spent $192.89 on Thanksgiving and used my debit card. I thought that life was grand. Well, on Sat I happened to check my bank account and found that there were two more charges from Kohls, one for $174.20 and another for $167.39. Those were not from me so I called my bank and let them know that these were not my charges thinking that someone had hacked into my account. I had previously called Kohls and they did not answer. Well my bank had me file a discrepancy. Well Sunday, I get an e-mail from Kohls stating that part of my order was canceled because they were out of stock. Well, it brought the total down to $148.70.
Well Monday comes and I call Kohls and they admit that the other charges were not mine and that the money would be returned to my account. Well I called again today and was told that they could see the note but the person had not contacted my bank yet. So this person said that she would contact them and let them know. Well I get home from work and check my bank account and it shows that Kohls again charged me $148.70. I was irate and called Kohls customer service. I was told that because I filed a discrepancy that I now must wait until my order is delivered then they will credit me my money. I am going to file a complaint with consumer affairs and I advise all of you to not shop at Kohls online and I would hope that you would join me and boycott Kohls all together.

I had a 75 Kohl's dollars to spend and gave to me my daughter who was out after the first time after several months under hospital care. She was excited and carefully picked all the items she wanted and was told by clerk coupon expired the day before. Not only that she took the coupon with OUR ONLY PROOF. I went back and spoke with the night manager who was very cocky informing me the store manager was on vacation and she would be making the decision. My daughter did buy something so we have the clerk who absconded with the coupon.

I placed an order on kohls.com. They did not give me the option for a shipping address before hitting submit to place the order. So I assumed that it would give me this option after I hit submit. No it did not. It automatically shipped my order to a shipping address that I had used before with Kohl's. This was not my only problem so I called customer service and must have been at least 10 people by the time I was done and no satisfaction for me. They told me they could not cancel the order nor could they give me the shipping cost for the item to be sent to the correct address from the people it was being shipped to incorrectly.
They are not very customer friendly at all. I do not believe that people that it is being sent to incorrectly should have to pay for the shipping cost to send it to the right address. Very bad experience with them and I will never use Kohls.com AGAIN. If you do please do not hit submit until you are clear as to where your item is being shipped because once you hit submit you cannot enter or change an address even if it has not given you one in the first place.

I have been a Kohl's customer for years, but have always shopped in the stores - now I know why. To avoid the Black Friday rush, I shopped online this year. After placing my Kohl's order, I received an e-mail that my order could not be completed - to call customer service. After being shuffled through three customer service agents who asked the same questions, then disconnected, only to call back and be shuffled through two more agents asking the same set of questions, I am back on hold and they don't know why my order is not being processed. I am beyond frustrated and have given up. Sorry Kohl's, I am taking my Black Friday money elsewhere.

I had went to the Kohl's store in fresh Meadows NY. I had been hired for an event. When I got to the store I spoke to someone at the register for assistance. I was directed to head downstairs to the service entrance. Someone there would assist me. I walked into office. I tried explaining to this woman that I was hired for an event. She was uncooperative and hostile towards me. I tried to explain the situation. I told her she wasn't listening to what I was saying. She called security. I walked out to find someone to help me. I was told she was the manager. A security guard said I had to leave. I tried to explain the situation to him with no luck.
When I called the main office I left a voicemail. I was contacted the next morning from their office. I explained the situation. The response I got was they weren't going to do anything about this. Even when I tried to point out that's not the way to handle the situation. When I asked if I could speak to someone else on this matter. I was told no. This was the president. The matter is closed. This company has the worst conduct. People should take their business elsewhere!

Called the Kohl's main line and they did some tracking and it was lost on St. Augustine 11/3 and here it was 11/13. FedEx shows that it was handed off to the USPS on 11/3. I missed the last day I could use my discount code because I didn't know the code and the only way I can take the password they assigned to my account is to go to the store with my card and two forms of identification. They were so unhelpful, passing me to three reps over the course of an hour. What a total waste of time dealing with this store. They certainly are not customer service oriented.

Entered the store about 12:30 pm on 11/19/15. Had to go to the very rear of the store, to customer service to pick up the online order. There were 6 customers in front of me, and one service clerk. After 5 minutes, there were 6 more customers behind me in line. The clerk then called for assistance, and 2 more associates arrived to help. After I was called, it still took about 3 - 4 minutes for some other clerk to locate my purchase, and then to check me out. I wouldn't do this again, unless I had a full day to kill. Not at all convenient. Much easier to shop in-store and check out at a cashier, than to go to customer service, where the transactions are more complex/time consuming (i.e., refunds, exchanges, bad mdse, complaints, etc.). Never again.

Back in August I went shopping at Kohl's in Manahawkin N.J. mainly for my grandson's upcoming birthday party and some outfits for myself. I shopped for approx. 3-3/12 hours. It was approx. 8:30-9:00 pm when I went to the register to check out. It was a long line and I waited 15-20 min at which point I was exhausted and in pain. After she rang my order up and it was a full cart, she said the total was approx. $348.00. I swiped my card after all that.
The cashier had told me she was sorry that the register is broke and she's been having a lot of problems with it. At which point she also told me that she couldn't give me the receipt because it did not print. I said, "that's ok and I will pick it up tomorrow." She said I couldn't take the merchandise without the receipt. I explained to her that I already paid for the order. At which she called over her supervisor or manager, we explained the problem, and she had me fill out my name and number and said she will put in the back and I could pick up tomorrow because it was late. I told her, "but I already paid for the items." She said she'll check. She came back and said the purchase did not go through. I said, "are you sure because my credit card was accepted" and she said, "no, it wasn't."
Anyway, I left without my merchandise! I told her I will be back in a day or two. I came back to Kohl's and went to the back to pick up my items and was told by Tom at layaway that after he looked for some time said he was sorry but he does not see it! I explained to him this problem! I went home and called to speak to manager. Explained to him as well! His name was Matt. He said he will look into it and get back to me! I explained I'm disabled, I shopped for a long time and I have to have my things for my grandson's birthday party! Anyway, I heard back from Matt and he said he sorry, he looked really good, and said it probably was returned back on the shelves! I took the liberty to go back to the store because he said the cashier is working now and I went up to her and asked her if she knew where my things were? She told me Matt has told her the stuff is missing and it was nowhere to be found!
Anyway, I told him I was going away for 2-3 weeks and to call me and let me know how we're going to resolve this problem! I have not received a phone call since I last spoke with him. I felt a real injustice when I had like nothing but 2 outfits in a huge birthday bag. I was embarrassed and I have a pictures of him looking down into an empty bag! I am so pissed off right now and if that wasn't bad enough when I got home I found out that my payment was received that night. They said it wasn't. And Matt must have sent it back without telling me because it was returned the same day I spoke with him. I really steaming because I'm not into this game. Have I known that he was hiding that fact and secretly snuck it back in my account without my acknowledgement!
I was deceived when they took the payment from the very beginning. They told me it did not go through and because of their deception I had my mortgage payment come back and it said insufficient funds! I had perfect credit up to this point and I was never late in 5 years on my mortgage payment! I just want to be reimbursed for all I went through!!! I've been swindled. It's the same as theft by deception! And this is why they are ignoring me! I also have a late charge. I was never even late on my mortgage! Ever! I know Kohl's charges a premium interest rate when your payment don't reach you in time! Anyway, I want to be compensated for all. I'm out!!! I'm seeking immediate settlement! Thank you!

I called the Kohl's 1 800 number today to find out about a discount I was promised. When I spoke to a woman named Martina, she told me that even though it was in the notes, she would not honor what another rep wrote. I asked to speak to a supervisor because this woman was getting rude and just kept reading the same script without listening to me. I was never transferred to a supervisor so I hung up and called back to speak to someone else. I tried to explain to the new rep, Heidi, that I had been promised an additional 15% off because they do not tell you that to get a percentage off for the first time using your credit card it has to be the same day you applied for your card. I was not told this when I applied for my card at home, at 11pm. There was no way I could have used it the same day, in store.
She told me that I applied for my card on Sep 17 and used it in store on Sep 19 she demanded to know how I got my card so fast. I told her that the customer service woman in the store printed me out a temp card. Heidi then chewed me out questioning if they could even do that. Seriously? I'm the customer... Shouldn't she know that they do that. Then she saw that I used a 20% off coupon during a purchase, she demanded how I got a coupon to Kohl's because she claimed they only send coupons to credit card holders. I told her that I have been getting coupons for 4 years without a credit card with them. She interrogated me for a few minutes, actually had me in tears, then I begged to just be transferred to a supervisor. It took another 10 minutes of me telling her I do not want to speak with her anymore and to transfer me to actually got her to do it.
She was very rude and didn't seem to care at all how she was coming off. It made me wonder if anyone in that office understands how they make the whole company look by basically calling their customers liars, just because the rep doesn't know how the company works. When I was finally given a supervisor to speak with, I could almost understand her through a thick accent (of course) as she told me that she was right and I was wrong and asked if I needed anything else. I have never been treated so badly by a rep before and will not be shopping at Kohl's again because of the way they allow and obviously encourage their reps to treat customers.

We loved the Chaps blazers at Kohl's, and they were on sale. We attempted to complete an order at least 6 times! The first two orders let us complete the sale including confirmation emails, but each order received an email shortly thereafter informing us that the order could not be processed. My spouse called Kohl's customer service, and the rep stated that they were having computer problems. The rep also was not able to complete the order over the phone. The rep suggested to try the order online again shortly.
After trying the order online several hours later, we kept receiving credit card errors. 11/16/15, I contacted the customer service through the chat line, and I spoke to Armando **. He did not give an explanation as to why the orders were not completed and cancelled. I requested for the one of the orders to be completed so we can receive our purchase. The rep stated that the orders no longer existed in their system because they were cancelled and that I would need to complete another order online. He stated if all of my personal information was correct, then there should not be a problem. I did not understand why the order could not be completed with the information already provided or at least re-entering the credit card information. The rep was very rude including exclamation points and ending the conversation abruptly.
I attempted to complete the order online yet again, and there was another credit card error (this is the third card that we have tried throughout the ordeal). I tried to submit the order once again with another card, and the items in my basket became out of stock. I am very disappointed with Kohl's online service and customer service. I will not ever shop at Kohl's again. Now we have two credit cards with pending charges over 100 dollars and no order.

I said I had three Credit Cards with high limits, and was probably, was told of a 15% discount if I did apply, I said I will try, and was told if approved would get 25% discount. I had two (2) different sales that I wanted to proceed forward with, and I then completed the Information. While waiting i figured that I would be saving about $175.00 if approved for a Credit Card.
Well much to my amazement I was approved for a Kohl's Credit Card that will be mailed to me, and my savings was $174.10. Now, during that time, the Line in checkout was getting longer, but the women Donna & Ellen who were waiting on me did not at anytime express any impatience, irritated facial expressions, verbal comments, that were and did reflect time to complete the required paper work. They were very personable, passionate and professional during the processing of my Credit Card application and transactions. I did ask for their names so I would be able to send comments about them to Corporate.
When I was approved, I immediately paid for my purchases, which did take some extra time. This was a fantastic experience for me, especially on the 240 Birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps. I took them up to customer service to exchange them and just pay the difference and she tried to charge me the entire amount of the purchase. I asked why it was so much and she stated because I lost my Kohl's cash. I asked why because I am not returning only exchanging and actually paying more. She said I would have to purchase the exact same pair to keep my Kohl's cash. I explained I am not returning or I would understand losing the Kohl's cash but exchanging. I showed her the back of the Kohl's cash and it does not state anything on there about exchanging the item and losing your Kohl's cash and that it has to be the exact same item.
This is misleading and they just find ways to take your Kohl's cash right back from you. The back of the Kohl's cash only outlines a return. If they keep up these unfair practices they will soon face class action lawsuits. To top it off the customer service rep was so rude and laughed in my face. I live in a rural area so it means I drive to PO and wait in line -- have to fumble with the package and then get it back come -- so why did I order it online and opt for delivery??? Since I saw him he is tall and skinny with a blue name tag; talking to a young lady in the men's department; I went up to them and he walks away. So I asked the young lady and she helped me. After I found more stuff that I needed to price check and I ended having Charles as my cashier so I asked him to price check some items and he had this look like he didn't want to deal with me. He grunted after.
I also had questions about some coupons and he was very mean on explaining them. He was very rude. He didn't seem to help at all. As I was observing him he is lazy, he just walks around doesn't do anything and gets irritated when his coworkers ask for his help or a customer. I can't believe that. That store has him as a supervisor. When employees ask for a manager's help he takes forever to help and takes off to go talk to the people on the floor. What kind of management is that?! I hope the Alhambra HR sees this because he really pissed me off. So if anybody bumps into this so called manager you guys are aware of it. I signed up with Kohl's Yes2You Rewards program over a year ago. When I was first given the rewards card, I was told to go online and link it to my credit card. I did, and for the past year I have been argued with by customer service reps and Kohl's Facebook account reps. It seems that no one can figure out how or why the email rewards are never sent? They can see the merchandise purchased, they can see that rewards have been awarded and NEVER USED. But they cannot get an email to go through to me. Yet, I can email them back and forth. Just no Rewards.
Today, I just spoke to a representative. After attempting to send an email... and I not receiving it. The only thing she could tell me was "Sorry, we NEVER have this problem. I guess you will have to log in to your account the last day of every month to get your reward if one is available." At this point I think I am just done trying! After having this so called reward program for a year now and NEVER receiving a reward I think it is of no reward! Yes2You Reward **.

I visited my local Kohl's store last Saturday and found a jacket I loved but it wasn't available in my size. So once I got home I located the jacket on Kohls.com and attempted to take them up on their published offer to order and have it "shipped to my store". After accepting my order, about an hour later I got an email saying the item was unavailable. Somehow I didn't believe it. It was listed as "in stock" online. I figure "shipping to store" must really mean they'll check the stock in that store and if they don't have it, tough luck. False advertising!
So I placed an order to be shipped to my home. Of course this way I had to pay for shipping. This order went through no problem and the next day I got a shipping notice with FedEx SmartPost tracking. Now, one week later there has been NO movement of the "package" beyond the fact that a label was created. I called Customer Service and was told to "wait 10 business days" and if tracking hasn't updated by then (that'll be two weeks in real time!) I can re-order. I told the lady that won't be happening, I will never shop at Kohl's online again.

I usually love Kohl's and do most of my shopping there. But the hassle and inconvenience I have had to go through to get my money back that they wrongly charged has made me think about finding a new store to bring my business to. Last Friday at their store I put $50 on my debit and the rest on credit. They were having problems with their registers with Kohl's charge cards. They had to take me to 3 different registers to make it go through and swiped my debit every time. They said they cancelled out each transaction and I wouldn't be charged 3 times.
Well, I was! They told me the $100 would be credited within 3-5 business days. And when I saw today (5 business days later) that it's still not credited, I called and all they can say is it will be ANOTHER 5 days to wait for my money that was their fault to be put back in my account. I am so frustrated that they can pull your money out within a split second even if the transaction has been cancelled but then takes 2 weeks or more to get it put back in!

I then went back and tried to actually buy something with the cash and was told that I had already used it. I explained that the sale was canceled. The manager was called over and she said, "Look here. You bought a coat and shirt and other things." I said, "I didn't" and she demanded that I had. IF they had checked the camera they would have seen that I left the store with nothing. I contacted customer service and they I need to go back to the store and talk to the customer service rep. The one that said I had purchased things that I hadn't? Really? I am out 40.00 not Kohl's cash but out of my pocket. Kohl's is a scam. Considering the fact that I spent that amount of money, I would've expected some more sympathy or consideration about me finding a ride home at 8:18pm at night ESP where now it's dark and cold outside!! I was not happy or content with his reaction or response! Then to keep asking me if I want to apply for a Kohl's charge card? I did not order the shirt but left it in the cart until I can collect more items for free shipping. I went back again online and saw the price increased back to $18. I noticed once the promos are out such as 30% off coupons, Kohl’s cash, gift cards, which I received in the mail, the prices on clothing (and probably everything) increases so the discounts are really not worth what we think.
I saw the same polo shirts for the same price at Carson’s so Kohl’s is not giving you anything you can't get at other stores. All their gimmicks are just gimmicks and do not give you any real discount. Take a look at the original prices of clothing. There were risers just inside the front door right next to where you get the carts. The display risers are just 4 inches tall and blend in with the floor. I got the old style Kohl's small cart (not a stroller cart) and headed in. The risers caught the wheels of the cart and I was flung across the front of the display, a complete and hard fall to the floor. I even hit my head. A man stood me up and I walked around for a bit, but began to feel intense pain, nausea and dizziness. I went back to customer service to ask for a manager to report the fall.
It took 15 minutes to get the manager, a place to sit, and to fill out the form. Then she spent at least 25 minutes in an office watching the video and making a call. She then said the fall had not just happened -- it had happened over an hour ago. True and I had been sitting by the service desk for 50 minutes. No concern for the severity of the fall was expressed, only the time concern. I was told I would hear from Claims. I got a breezy phone message today about wishing me well and I could call if I had any questions.
I have been in severe pain for days. Also I am a 60 year old who flew over a display and hit the floor hard. I am considering contacting a lawyer at this point. These stupid ,little risers are nothing but a hazard and I expect a lot more people will be hurt by them. You can't see them ahead of time, not unless you walk watching the floor. I am completely fed up with the lack of concern for my injuries, mainly to the back, and their unconcern for an unnecessary hazard right inside the front doors. I'd like to see how the store manager would feel about it if she could take the fall.

Even if you have a charge at Kohl's you cannot use a discount coupon of any kind and use a gift card that has already been purchased as your payment method. If you attempt to do this, then you must put at least half the cost of the items that you are purchasing on your charge. So gift cards for Kohl's are useless.

I went to Kohl’s on 9/20/15 to spend a $50 Kohl’s cash I got for spending more than $300 which I normally do since I loved that store because of all its savings. Normally I have trouble finding what I like so I always end up buying for my kids or for home. That day I was so happy I found a few things I really liked and got them. It was also my first time going alone. I would always go with my kids because I sometimes forget what I am looking for so they remind me. I went to look at the makeup and a lovely lady that was there helped me out with some and recommended some. She also gave me some testers, so I thought "Wow this might be my lucky day."
I put the makeup I was going to buy in the bag of testers the lady gave me, since they were skinny and could be lost easily; and also because I had all this bunch of clothing. I waited in line to pay then I remembered I also had to check on my rewards if I had any and also started to look for coupons. While I was waiting I put all my stuff on the counter in a bunch or two and I think I picked up the tester bag and fixed it. Since I was not paying attention to the guy that was passing the stuff through the scanner I didn't see what I paid for so I left.
This lady was by the door and I honestly didn't hear what she said. I just heard when she said to follow her so I thought I might be getting a coupon or something so I followed her. She took me to a room and told me to put all the things I didn't buy in the desk. I told her "I paid for everything." She said "No you didn't," so I put everything including my purse. I also was about to get the receipt out when I realized what I forgot to pay. I froze for a bit and told her "I can pay that." This never happened to me before. I actually forgot I put them there, showed her that I had no reason for stealing if I had the kohl’s credit card and that I also had my $50 kohl’s cash and the makeup was only $40. She said it was too late, that I had my chance, that I needed to fill out some papers and I was banned from returning to Kohl’s again.
I signed the papers. She said she wasn't going to call the cops if I promised something to her. I stopped her and told her "You can call the cops. I don't care. My record is clean. I don't have nothing to worry about," then she said I can leave so I did and passed to pay the pencils. I felt so disappointed in myself and embarrassed for forgetting to pay the make-up pencils. I have $1,700 available in my credit card. Why would I do that. I finished paying and the alarm went on. I'm like "now what seriously." The first cashier forgot to take off one off the sensors.
I left, went to my car, and cried. Went home started to think of what had happened. I realized it was just humiliation. The lady just judged me without giving me a chance. She should at least looked me up. She just went with what she saw, she should have had check if I had a reason for doing it or looked at my spending or something. I went back, returned what I bought, told the lady to keep the testers and gave away my $50 kohl’s cash. I recommended kohl’s to my family and friends and a few of them even got the credit card. I was pissed at myself for doing that. I can't say I'm not to blame because Yes I would have done the same and I understand what was my mistake but just an advice, "Don't judge by the looks since it's not always what it seems."

I take the canopy hoping to get a new one. Of course their summer items are almost gone so there's none in the city & I requested they check online. I was informed that they may not do an even exchange from an online order. I must pay full price (even though their product broke). I would have to be refunded & reorder as a new order at the current price. All they can do is offer me store credit.
Kohl's gave me $50 in Kohl's cash with this purchase so when they gave me the returned credit they deducted this $50 off my returned credit. Really! They give people like a week to use these things. I usually never use them because of the limited time frame so either way, it's like giving someone a coupon & being like "oh wait, I gave you a 20% coupon at check out for your next purchase that day so let me deduct that". I am extremely upset that I couldn't just get the item replaced considering it wasn't my fault the item broke. I like their clothing, but when I shop there, I use cash or my debit card, always ignoring the inevitable hard sell at the cash register to sign me up for a credit card. Well, a couple of months ago we started getting calls on our landline from Kohl's Department Store. For a while I ignored them as I figured they must be trying to pitch me a credit card. But when the calls began occurring daily, I would pick up the phone occasionally, intending to tell them to stop calling.
A couple of times I was cut off, and once I heard loud voices in the background but no response. A week or so ago, my husband picked up when Kohl's called and actually spoke to a person, who asked to speak to me. He told her I wasn't home and asked that we be taken off their call list. The woman refused to do this, saying I had an "affiliation" with Kohl's and that the calls would continue until they could speak to me in person. Well, I have no affiliation whatsoever with Kohl's! As a matter of fact, we gave up credit cards years ago except for one for emergencies. I have in the past had a Penney's card, and a Target card, but never a Kohl's card, I swear! Past experience (even though dates have always been printed on "coupon") is that you could use after the date. I called customer service and was told something along the same lines - that a lot of people were finding this out.
A loose policy is now tight but it would have been a great policy for Kohl's to communicate that things were going to be this way and allow a time period (say, until start of year) for everyone to become aware. I understand the dates are to get you back in the store the next week and always thought it was a good marketing ploy but it seems Kohl's is willing to lose customers over $40 or less than was "earned" (their term). I called to dispute and was told there was a balance and payment past due to which I paid off immediately. I asked their rep for their terms and conditions to which she responded, they are not available online, they need to be mailed to each person and they are different for every single customer.
I continued to dispute the charge sending another email and got a call from Bethany at the office of the president. She continued to say that they have no record of statements being returned so they would not remove the mark. They do NOT send any notification that they are reporting you. They do not PROPERLY communicate balances owed to their customers. They do NOT express due diligence with their customers to inform them of account status. After further review, there are THOUSANDS of other consumers who have had almost identical interactions with Kohl's and their credit card.
Kohl's did NOT notify me that there was a payment due, past due, or balance due. Kohl's did NOT notify me that a payment was late and Kohl's did NOT notify me that they were GOING to report me to the credit bureau and Kohl's did NOT notify me they DID report me to the credit bureau. Because of the lack of due diligence and lack of communication from Kohl's in regards to my account and account status, because I called to correct this issue which they did not correct, plus being given improper information from their in-store rep and their phone rep, I am asking that Kohl's remove this improperly reported past due payment from my credit.

I make a payment on my due date which is the 4th. Then I get a late charge on the 4th. They say they can't give the credit till you zero out the account. Even the purchase I made in that billing cycle. Last month they said I didn't make the min payment which was true because I still had 75 dollars of late charges. Now they are willing to go to court over the 7 dollars I was short due to the late charges they said they would remove. They blame it on their computer system as if people don't create the system. I'm pretty sure it's a scam meant to take advantage of people who don't speak up. Someone needs to check into the way they're doing things. It's not a right and very unprofessional. Stay away.

I was charged a $25 late fee even though I paid on time and my bank statement shows this. Kohl's records show it was paid one day late - ONE day by their own account. The customer service person was unfriendly and wants me to fax (who has a FAX anymore???) my bank statements to her. Honestly it is not worth my time to try and track down a fax machine so I will just discontinue using the card. Though the next cashier to push that card in line will definitely hear WHY I don't want to use it.

The next day after my husband left for work, I logged back in to make the purchase and guess what, prices of all items in cart went up by 50%. I checked for any online fraud alert stories related to Kohl and I feel so lucky that I came across innumerable bad reviews from people who had painful experiences with Kohl's. Thanks to these people who took the time to post their experiences online, I have been saved from much trouble and anxiety. I don't have to go through the experience of paying for an order and eagerly awaiting only to receive nasty surprises. I will never ever bother visiting Kohl's online or instore again and I recommend the same to anyone who is lucky enough to read this review.

I had recently shopped at the Kohl's in Ontario, CA for the first time. I was extremely pleased with the product and amazing sales. Long story short, I earned Kohl bucks and signed up for the rewards as well. So I was excited to come back on July 30 at 440 and was at the register with my purchase and was excited to use my bucks and coupon I received from the rewards but also spent a large amount, so wanted to use my reward points too. The cashier was very rude and didn't want to take the time for me to use them. I asked a few times for help and I wanted to apply them. Again she sighed and gave a short unprofessional attitude so I felt disappointed and said forget it, as I paid I wanted to do a split tender and she gave me problems with that. As I paid, she slammed my money back to me instead of handing it to me. I felt so humiliated and with this service I'm doubting my return. Very unpleased.

I have been shopping at Kohl's for over 10 years. I have or had a Kohl's charge card that I would use every time as well. Pretty much the ONLY store I shop at btw. Well today I called customer service, spoke to management about the fact that they stopped honoring expired Kohl's cash. Where I understand there is an expiration date for a reason, I had been using expired Kohl's cash for a few years now without a problem. I had $20 Kohl's cash that I wanted to use on my purchase on 07-28-15, come to find out the 'corporate' changed the rules as of June 1st 2015. I had no idea about these 'new' rules. I asked Brenda on the phone why, as a long time Kohl's customer, wasn't I notified and I was told that there is no way they could have notified all Kohl's customers. Um, ok, because it's so difficult to send out a generic letter to your charge cardholders.
I asked for a $20 credit on my account and was denied my request. I said "I'd like to cancel my card," and they said "Ok, no problem." I have NEVER had a charge card, whether it be a store card or Visa/MC/AmEx/Discover be so happy to have me close my account with them. She didn't even try to get me to keep my card. I am very disappointed and will not be shopping there anymore. I will also be sharing my experience with all my friends and family. I will happily be shopping elsewhere using my Citibank MasterCard that has always honored my requests and always willing to work with me. SHAME ON YOU KOHL'S!!!

I placed an order on kohls.com for the very first time. I ordered a shirt for my daughter for a birthday party. The shirt for a 15 year old slim child cost $35.00. I clearly didn't have much of an issue with the price hence the purchase with no discount or coupon. The shirt was scheduled to arrive just in time for the event. We were tracking it daily with the cheap fed-ex smart post shipping. Well the day finally arrives and for the first time in my life the item is showing to have been delivered but we didn't have it. We my husband and I call their "customer service". What a joke.
Long story short they refused to replace the item or issue credit. Someone with extremely broken English continued to tell my husband how we got such a great deal. Excuse me? Not only did we not ask your opinion in addition the last time I checked $35.00 for a child's shirt is not a good deal. Then to top it all off they really thought that we were going to chase down the post office to find out where the item went not to mention our credit card info. I've never ever in my life experienced such carelessness in such a struggling economy! We've still yet to get an item or hear anything else from Kohl's 3 weeks now. I won't ever ever ever patronize them again. Every chance that I get I will be blasting them for terrible service!

I'm an avid shopper of Kohl's because of their promotions, discounts & coupons & plus it's nearby. But today would be the last day I'll shop in this store! So I went shopping today for new pants. It took me awhile to find the right fit for me. The lady whom assist me seem to have a bigger position than the other cashiers. I nicely approach her to assist me with my items. I told her that I really want to at least reach the $50 minimum so that I can get a $10 Kohl's cash.
Fortunately, I was able to get a $10 Kohl's cash. I came back again to the counter since I figured out that they charged me with the original price of one of the pants instead of the discounted price. The cashier whom I asked to help me didn't look like willing to assist me. She was frowning. We went to the area where that pants was displayed to double check. She then called for assistance. Same lady who rang my items came & look very unhappy seeing me again. She then ask me to go check again the same area where the pants were & took the displayed discounted price in a harsh manner. I can tell that she was upset. While walking towards the counter I told her that if ever the total price won't reach $50 I'll go add another item. SHE DIDN'T SEEM TO BE INTERESTED AND WASN'T LISTENING!! She was frowning while assisting me in the counter.
Right away I gave her back the $10 Kohl's cash then suddenly told me "You cannot use your $10 Kohl's cash anymore." She definitely look happy while saying it to my face. Then she gave me my post sale adjustment receipt. I asked "how much more do I need in order to reach the total price of $50 or more?" She told me the amount then said "Use the calculator!" with a very rude tone then left. I thank her while she walked away with her colleague like nothing happened. She didn't even bothered to say "you're welcome" or whatsoever. And I felt like I was left hanging.
I stayed for a minute & checked the item in front of me but actually a lot of things were going on in my mind. Deep inside I was completely shocked! I wasn't able to process it right away. I walked out from the store unsatisfied and disrespected. I do speak English fluently but how come that lady didn't understand my needs at all? And that wasn't the first time I was treated rudely by an employee in this store. I'm not an outspoken person at all. I couldn't let this go this time. I must not. My husband even told me I should have asked for the manager. I wish I did! But I didn't have that strength.
I kept thinking why I was treated that way. Is it because of how I dressed up? Or because I'm not American? Or I looked dumb to her? I totally felt she was looking down on me. So I'm going to pay off my Kohl's charge ASAP then close my account. I will not let my family shop there anymore too. I'll never come back again. PLEASE BE PROFESSIONAL! YOU'LL LOSE CUSTOMERS IF YOU GUYS DON'T KNOW HOW TO RESPECT PEOPLE.

I'm done with them. I used to go in there about once a week. Every time something would happen like I would have 1 item fall out of my hands, bend over to get it, more fall out, etc. On several occasions I would have an associate look at me, and just keep walking. Thanks. Not like you could have helped get a cart or take it to the register for me. Then, I pick out a few pairs of shoes zip tied together. I get home, and 3/6 pairs are mismatched! Really? I go back to return them, and I get accused of stealing 1 pair because apparently the cashier rang the third pair up wrong. This is just the typical experience I have there. Not to mention all of the times I'm followed and eyeballed all around the store because I look a 16-17 year old even though I'm in my mid 20's.
The final straw came when my bill didn't come for over a month. I went online, and the only way I could pay was to enter my banking info which was not going to happen. I called, and got some apathetic Russian jerkoff who informed me that I had incurred a $30 late fee, PLUS a $10 fee for paying with a credit card over the phone. Needless to say, I haven't been back there in a few months. Of all the times I've been in that store, I can think of 6 individual employees between a total of 2 locations that I honestly even remotely had a "nice" time with.

However, Kohl's has no record of this payment, which appears in my bank statement already. I was told that if the payment was made by debit card, then the transaction would appear in my account, which it didn't. I receive two boxes on July 17th one box contains the Khaki comforter and shipping receipt that states that the Khaki and the Blue comforter are in the box and the second box contains the Blue comforter with a shipping receipt stating the green comforter is in the box.
So I call Kohl's customer service to inform them that I did not receive the green comforter. The young woman named Maria that was the representative was rude, kept interrupting me saying I had to wait 24 hours before I can say I did not receive the item. I tried to nicely explain that I have 3 shipping receipts and only 2 items. She just basically told me to wait and then call back. So I wait and call back on the 22nd, and spoke to Ned. He basically told me that they will have to look into it but I still have to wait another 24 hours to ensure that UPS did not leave it at a neighbor’s house or on my porch.
First of all why would UPS deliver it somewhere else but deliver 2 packages to my house and second these packages were delivered 5 days ago so if he left it outside of my house because I don't have a porch I think I would have noticed it! So he opens up a case and says I have to wait 24 hour more hours to hear back. I called back today the 23rd spoke to Ned who told me I have to now wait 2 to 3 weeks for a refund after they get money back from UPS for the missing comforter. I told him that it was never sent because they sent me email yesterday afternoon with three tracking numbers for UPS. Two say shipped and the third says shipping label printed UPS is waiting for the package to be shipped.
I also asked why I am being penalized and treated as if I am at fault. Why can't I receive credit for the item I did not receive? Why do I have to wait? He said that is the process and they are investigating my claim and when they get it rectified I will get my credit. I am so frustrated. Am I wrong for feeling like they’re trying to place the blame on everyone but themselves? Is there another place I call or contact? They are actually keeping from giving my money back. I chose to go to Kohl's (Southern Pines, NC) because I remember liking what I had gotten there before. I took my time and I made really specific decisions. I had probably 15 or so items mostly from the sales rack and I was happy with my choices. It was all well and fine until I got to the checkout counter. The lady ringing me up finished and then made to try and convince me to get the Kohl's card. I politely said, "no" over and over and over again. The lady kept persisting and wouldn't finish checking me out. She tried everything to sell me one. "Let's just see what you would save today." "Do you not want to save money?" etc.
The last straw was when she started trying to make me feel guilty about how much money I was spending. "You are spending SO much money on clothes" she said, acting like it was the world's greatest travesty. Up until this point I had been VERY polite and VERY patient. I said to her in a very firm and obviously insulted voice, "It is none of your business how much I spend. I NEVER go clothes shopping!" She looked taken aback and I continued, "How about I leave right now without buying anything and go tell your manager the reason they are losing a huge sale is because of you?!" She then, without a word pressed the button so I could pay.
I left without a word. But after looking down at my watch, I had been standing there getting badgered about that kohl's card for 15 minutes! I am NOT happy. I asked my mom about it and she said, to some extent she experiences that every time she goes shopping. That is not fair to people who are WILLINGLY spending money at their store. I ordered a birthday present for my wife on kohls.com and had trouble with entering my information into the fields for payment and delivery information. It took a while but I was able to finish the transaction or so I thought. Shortly after I received the confirmation email and I checked it and was horrified to find that the delivery address was to a person and location that I did not intend the package to go to. I immediately called customer service and a case number was generated for me to change the address. The service person said that the delivery information may have auto filled itself from previous information I had on file. I inquired as I had never shopped online before and it appears it could have come from a wedding registry 4 years prior to this transaction I made due to it being connected to my email address. Even though the billing address and shipping address were in different names and states.
I was told by this person that all would be well and when the labels would be generated prior to fulfillment the proper information would be entered. 24 hrs later I get an email saying the address could not be changed and the items would be shipped to the bad address. I had not received shipping or tracking information prior to this. I called customer service again to find out why this was the case. I was told no problem - the delivery information would be changed and if not the package would be stopped and re tagged by FedEx. So I said Thank You and ended the call.
Then wouldn't you know about 12 hrs later I get an email from FedEx saying label information was received by them and my packages were pending pick up for delivery. The address on the tracking email of course is the bad one to the person who is obviously not me. So again I call customer service and I get the "what a great purchase you have made and great savings you have received." Again we chat about the order and the bad shipping info and I am told this is no problem my case number can be seen and the address change info was put in and the FedEx tracking email I received was no good and I would see that when the information updated.
Well it didn't - I followed the tracker every couple of hours until it said the first package was delivered. It said front porch no signature. It was not at my home so I drove 32 miles to the bad address and found the package on the front porch in the wrong name clearly marked Kohl's on the side and the contents I was expecting. At this time the other package was still pending pick up by FedEx so I called customer service again and got the great purchase and savings speech again and explained the shipping problem again a lot of it's no problem it can be fixed. Well the other package tracker info updated and guess what it is going again to the wrong person and wrong address.
So I track it until it arrives there and then drive 32 miles to go get it. I arrive and get the package drive back home with it and open it up and would you believe it the wrong item - I mean completely wrong. I wanted/expected a metal Keurig storage drawer and this thing is a cloth laundry hamper. However the packing slip has my wanted storage drawer info listed on it. Who the heck packs these things? The hamper basket is 5 times the size of the drawer I was expecting. So again I call customer service and wouldn't you know they don't talk about my great purchase and savings this time... all the computers are down. They tell me I can only ask general questions and they will try to answer. I am furious with Kohl's at this point and may never shop there again. I surely will tell everyone who will listen about how poor a service they provide.

I am a former Kohl's employee and I will be the first to say I (used to) love Kohl's! When I worked there I fell in love with a Princess Alexandra Jewels by Le Vian rhodolite garnet ring. The ring is lovely. Vibrant 14kt rose gold with smoky quartz and white sapphire halo around the center cushion cut oval garnet. It was $1600 ticket price but often went on sale. I could never justify the purchase since I have a huge collection of fine jewelry but even after I left my job there as the beauty and jewelry supervisor, I would go to the store just to visit it.
Then, a few months ago... it went on discontinued/clearance price. I just happened to have a 30% coupon so my husband gave me the thumbs up to go for it and buy it! All told, the ring was around $320. I was thrilled. Absolutely over the moon. I had looked at rose gold and garnet rings at other retailers like Shane Company and they were around $1500-2000 for a garnet solitaire the fraction of the size.
Now is Kohl's jewelry the best quality? Depends on the item. Is the ring 'worth' the original $1600 price tag? No. But all retail jewelry has a very high mark up. But because the ring is made by Le Vian and is several grams of gold and over 4 carats of gems, it is absolutely worth about $800+. I will never be able to find a comparable piece for the price I paid for it.
It came as a size 7 which is usually my size. But because of the large center stone the ring would rotate on my finger and it was rather annoying. I also worried that I would scratch the stone as it flopped around. I could have gone to a "while you wait" repair shop and paid $50 for a sizing... but Kohl's offers free sizing to fine jewelry purchases over a certain amount.
How it works is this: you bring in the item and the receipt. They take the item and fill out a service form. You take back the receipt and get a copy of the service form for your records and to claim the item. They keep the item locked under the case or in the safe until the manager collects the items and securely Fed-Ex's them to the repair shop. So I know that they outsource repairs. Almost all department stores do this and even many jewelry places in the mall etc.
I gave them the ring to have it sized. They told me that the turnaround is 4-6 weeks. Which is crazy... but it was free. After 4 weeks, I would call to check in. They still didn't have it. After 6 weeks they called the repair place and the repair service confirmed they had finished the repair and they were sending it back in a few days. Two weeks after that, I called again. And again.
After some digging, the jewelry supervisor admitted to me that the ring had been delivered to the store. She confirmed that "someone" (which would have been the manager on duty at the time of delivery) had signed for the ring and that the ring had made it to the store. But that was the end of the ring's paper trail. It was 'lost' somewhere in the store.
After a few weeks of letting them look and not finding it, the store manager offered me a refund. I didn't want a refund! I wanted my ring. But there wasn't another one in any Kohl's in the surrounding states, apparently. They offered me a similar ring - nearly identical, but with an amethyst. The replacement would be fine... except that I have a rose gold and amethyst ring already and I like mine better! I accepted the replacement ring, hoping that because the store would have to report the loss of the amethyst ring on the books would encourage the manager to find my ring.
Three weeks later it has not been found. I am furious. This means two things: 1.) an employee stole the ring and walked out with it or 2.) someone misplaced it.However, both of these scenarios are easily handled. 1.) if an employee stole it, there are loss prevention employees and cameras all throughout the store. There is almost no where an employee could go to slip the ring in his or her pocket. The company should be able to find who took it simply by reviewing footage on the day the ring was delivered by FedEx. They have the time and date of delivery. 2.) if it was misplaced by whomever signed for it, again... there are cameras and all you need is to find out who signed for it and ASK him or her where they put it!! I am just flabbergasted as to why the store doesn't think it is serious that an employee lost or stole a $1600 item. I will not be shopping there again.

Defective merchandise x3 using gift card - I made a formal report about this whole thing and emailed the customer service department, and warehouse concerning the incidents. 3 separate orders of the same dish set were warped and would not sit on a flat surface without wobbling. Not just one plate. Several plates and bowls did this. Obviously defective merchandise was returned, reordered 3 times. On each occasion I received more defective merchandise. Apparently, the QC department is non-existent concerning dishes manufactured in China. Oh wait, most items at Kohl's are made overseas. Not us, ever again Kohl's. This qualifies as the worst experience I have ever had with a department store.

So my fiancé bought my engagement ring from here and bought his wedding band as well the next day. Well this was a year ago and I have only seen the ring for maybe 8 months. Two months after he proposed we got it resized from a 8 to a 6 and one of the stones was loose and we asked for that to be repaired as well. The ring sat in their safe for a month before we got it back to find out that the ring was still an 8 AND 3 OF THE 5 DIAMONDS WERE MISSING! The lady at the counter told us they (Kohl's) would fix the ring. After a month of hearing nothing, we went to the store to see if it came back. It was still broken in the safe. Another month went by and when we checked it was still broken in the safe. After 3 months it finally went to the shop to be fixed. Almost 4 months went by and still the stone had not been fixed. I brought it up to them when I got it and they said nothing about it.
About a month or two later the same stone I wanted fixed fell out. I wasn't mad that it fell out, I was mad that they could have prevented it by actually fixing it the first time. Two weeks ago today I went back in and told the manager the story and he told us he would look into the rings file and call us on Tuesday. Well here we are two weeks later with a busted ring, no call, and half a mind to go back in and demand our money back. I will never shop there again. Worst experience of my entire life. The company makes more than enough money to take care of their customers and sadly they don't.

Credit cards usually have interest charges but Kohl's has an interest charge and a monthly so called ease charge. If you add up the interest charge plus the ease charge it's higher than your minimum due. They say if you pay the minimum you'll pay it off in 15 years. How? Your bill will be higher each month. I thought this was against the law.

I was told they could no longer take expired Kohl's cash. Lucky I keep my receipts because they got a very expensive used vacuum back. I earned that Kohl's cash and if they think I'm going to lose any money, they can think again! Instead of purchasing the vacuum again when they were giving Kohl's cash out, I purchased it at a VERY large retailer for $70 less and didn't have to worry about Kohl's cash expiring. I would suggest anyone else do this if they accidentally let their Kohl's cash expire. I live near Columbus, Ohio.

Mind you the gift cards were not enough to cover the whole thing, so I was still planning on putting over $100 on my charge. No dice, they would not accept it so I told them to keep their vacuum. We went in yesterday 6/7 to redeem our Kohl's cash and they said it was not being taken any longer as of June 1st. THIS IS MONEY EARNED BY US SHOPPING AT THEIR STORE. KOHL'S's pricing company-wide is predicated on those sales, discounts and Kohl's cash being used. Meaning, they maintain higher pricing and with those promotions, makes their prices competitive.
We were told by a store employee from Morse Road in OHIO that we could use the Kohl's cash anytime and now their company has decided to not accept those any longer WITHOUT telling us ahead of time. HOW CAN THEY DROP A PRACTICE FOR CASH EARNED PREVIOUSLY TO THE NEW CORPORATE RULES? THOSE WITH KOHL'S CASH WITH PREVIOUS DATES THAN KOHL'S JUNE 1ST DEADLINE SHOULD HAVE BEEN HONORED. I ordered 5 tank tops and a pair of capri pants. Well, it took forever for my order to finally ship. Then when it did, they cancelled the one tank top that I really, really wanted. It shouldn't be listed on the site if it's not available. Then the other 4 items shipped all shipped separately! Really??? How hard is it to ship an entire order together? Don't they have a central warehouse? Apparently not, because each item shipped from a different part of the country. Some items arrived by USPS, some by UPS, even 1 by FedEx! Talk about inconvenient! Everything about my purchase from ordering to receiving was a total pain in the butt.
I like the items I got, but I had bought the same brand from another store in the mall and already knew what I wanted. Well, then today I get an email asking me to review my purchase. But they wanted to sign up for an account. I figured, ok, I will just make sure not to check the 'notify me of sales' button. I DO NOT shop at Kohl's regularly for the very reason I am writing this review. At the time of check out (and I mean EVERY TIME -- please note I have shopped at Kohl's 6 times in the last year), I receive extreme pressure from each and every sales associate to apply for a Kohl's credit account. I politely say "no thank you" and then would like them to finish the transaction. Each time I shopped at Kohl's in the last year, I was asked no less than 4 times during each check out transaction if I wanted to save X% and that I could do so by simply applying for the "Kohl's Card." NO MEANS NO. I didn't want to be rude, but I was so frustrated with the last sales associate I dealt with that I considered calling her manager. I have never shopped in a retail environment before and have received that level of sales pressure during checkout. I finally said, jokingly to lighten the mood, "my husband would be really upset with me if I got a store charge account."
This is when the associate said in a very serious tone: "Oh, there's no reason you would need to tell him. You can make all your payments right here at the register, thus avoiding a paper statement to your home. A Kohl's Card would save you lots of money on all your purchases (I had already stated previously that I rarely shop Kohl's). So would you like to apply?" SERIOUSLY?! Now I have a sales associate trying to encourage me to lie to my husband? All I wanted to do was check out. This after waiting 10 minutes while this same garbage went on with the poor woman ahead of me who was getting the same pressure. By the way, this was not the first time I was encouraged by a sales associate "that I wouldn't have to tell my husband about the account."
I could not believe that Kohl's executives and upper management would deliberately instruct their sales associates to pressure consumers to the extent that made me personally want to stop the transaction and walk out of the store. Every person I encounter family or friend, I am certain to discourage them to shop Kohl's. There are so many other retail options where the sales associates are respectful and courteous. Also, as a sidebar, when I tried to enter my concerns on the Kohls.com/survey it would not allow me to do so. I suspect because I was "dissatisfied". Please do not shop at Kohl's. My recent BBB complaint and the company's response: This is not the first time I'm having an absolutely abysmal customer service experience with Kohls.com. They really need to take some lessons for their physical store counterparts in how to treat and retain customers. Who is leading this organization?! In this case I placed a large ordered, and one of the items - a size 7 toddler pair of shoes - arrived but the shoes are much smaller than the other size 7 shoes I have for my boys. So I called customer service to notify them of the issue and to request that they exchange the size 7 for a size 8, and that they honor my original sale promotions which were for 30% off and free shipping (because I was placing a large order). They refused to honor the free shipping.
I first spoke with ** who refused to exchange and not charge me shipping; I then spoke with ** who said he was a supervisor and that he was the only manager I could speak with - he would not escalate my call any further - he absolutely refused. The reference # for that call is **. I am DISGUSTED. I spend a LOT of money with this organization and to be treated this way makes me more than a little angry. I expect Kohl's.com to step up, take appropriate action with their employees, provide better training on how to treat customers, and send me a pair of shoes that will actually fit.
MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS: We have reviewed the customer's concerns regarding her recent Kohl's.com order. It is not Kohl's practice to exchange Kohl's.com merchandise. Kohl's.com is happy to offer free standard shipping every day with $75 purchase. The customer is more than welcome to return the merchandise or attempt an exchange at her local store.. We are unable to accommodate the customer's request for free shipping as this was not a Kohl's error.
MY FINAL RESPONSE: Once again, Kohl's.com customer service is abysmal. "It wasn't their error" (which is debatable) so they refuse to go above and beyond for their customers?!! I place many very large orders and had a problem with one and asked them for assistance and they refused. They certainly will never be as successful as Amazon and could really benefit from taking notes on how Amazon treats their customers. I'll be sure to share this sentiment with everyone I know and I think I'll discuss it with my local Kohl's store manager to make sure he/she takes this feedback to those who actually may care about customer experience.

They claimed my email address was changed and asked me to give them my email to which I told them to give me what they had - it was correct.
Then they claimed that Gmail was returning their emails to me which is interesting because I probably get 10 emails a week or more to the same email address advertising their sales. So I asked them to start sending me paper invoices and they said they would make a note and try but that it has to be done at corporate, they don't have authority, for me to go online - which is an entirely other nightmare of issues. I was being pressed to make a payment over the phone. I refused and told them I would verify the information and have my bank issue a check.

We were visiting Peekskill, NY for spring break, and my wife and daughter went to Kohl's in Peekskill to shop for an Easter dress. Upon returning to our host's home, did my daughter realize she had left her necklace in the dressing room. We called out to the store and asked if anyone has turned in a necklace left behind. The lady said she would check the dressing room, though it was obvious we were putting her out. She returned less than a minute later and flatly said "it's not there." When my wife tried to explain where my daughter may have hung it up, even before she could get the whole sentence out, she was told that it wasn't there. My wife was then passed to about five different people before we gave up and went out and tried looking ourselves.
When my daughter walked into the dressing room she was in, right there where she left it was her necklace!! These fools didn't even go look, and flat out lied to us. And every person she was passed off to said the same thing, and they never looked either!!! So, folks, Kohl's in Peekskill may have a decent selection of clothes and shoes to pick from, but if you ever need their help with ANYTHING, forget it!!! They would as soon cut their arm off than help potential, or past, customers.

I submitted an order to kohls.com which put me in a certain level for shipping charges. When I received the order, I realized kohls.com had incorrectly filled one of the items by sending a color I had not ordered, nor do I like. Without this item, I would have been in the level of shipping that is less expensive. When I contacted kohls.com customer service through their site explaining my problem, I received a response in a reasonable amount of time; however the response was a mere regurgitation of how to return/exchange an item at the store. The stores in my area do not carry the item/color I ordered, so an exchange is not possible through the store. If I were to return the item at the store, they do not reimburse shipping. I again tried to explain this to the customer service rep, however have received no response.
I am very upset with the "customer service" that kohls.com thinks they provide. They took no time to try and understand the situation that was not even a mistake on my part, and only provided me with a basic response. NOT happy at all!

Each month when it is time to pay my bill, I attempt to log in to the Kohl's credit card website. I save the username and password but every time I attempt to use them I am told they are not valid. Some of the security question answers are also not correct when I enter them. I know what the answers are to the security questions and know that I am entering the correct answers. It really raises my blood pressure when I can't get into the site. Nearly every time I have to call customer service and since I am usually "locked out" of my account, I pay through the rep. There is usually a charge for phone payments but they will waive it if you are having problems getting into their site. I have complained over and over again, but they have not corrected anything. I am tired of having to spend a half hour trying to pay my bill because of their lousy website.

On 3-16-15 I had the pleasure of dealing with ** at store 0378 in Lake Ronkonkoma. She was amazing!! So accommodating and so interested in helping me. Her smile and great attitude made my experience so wonderful. She is a rare find.

I was at store 0378 at 1:52 on 3-8-15. First let me say I love this store and this store is usually so accommodating and usually provides great service. The cashier was just so nasty and rude and gave me a hard time, take a couple $5 coupons even though we both receive them and were there together and wanted to pay separate. The attitude was beyond terrible and I will wait to not get this loser again.

Found out at the register that Kohl's no longer applies promo discounts to Nike products. Left Nike apparel on the counter. Both companies lost a lifelong customer.

Yesterday I received my bill that that was due on the 1st, which wasn't kohl's fault-- that was an issue with my local post office. I called kohl's because I had a question about a late charge on the bill. I spoke with ** who was the most rudest person I ever spoke with. My February bill was due on a 1st which was a Sunday. I paid the bill on Sunday (the day the account was due) it didn't clear until Monday and I was charged a late fee! For it posting the very next day!!! ** had the worse attitude and was very unhelpful, I asked to speak with a manager and was left on hold for a while before what was supposed to be the manager ** answered the phone and her attitude was no better than the **'s! They both were very rude and I hope that I never have to speak with them again!

I had set up an online payment at my bank to payoff my Kohl's charge account. A Kohl's representative told me that I could save money by making a same day payment by credit card instead, that they would waive any fees. I told them that the bank was already processing (mailing) the check to them and that I could not afford a double payment, that it would cause an overdraft or NSF and impact my other bills. The same day credit card payment would pay off my balance, so would the online bank payment.
The representative told me that Kohl's would not cash the check because I would already have a zero balance and would not owe Kohl's any money. There would be no reason for them to cash a check for funds that I did not owe them. Well, the Kohl's employee lied. Kohl's cashed the check for $343 on February 18. I received a $31 overdraft fee for the Kohl's check and another $31 overdraft fee for payment of another bill that otherwise would have cleared, and I am left with no cash for the basics (food).
I called the same day they cashed the check, February 18. They had applied it as a credit to my account (-$343 balance). They asked if I wanted it as a credit on my account. I told them that I wanted the cash. They said they would mail a refund check. I called back February 24 (6 days later) to make sure the check was in the mail. They said the check was mailed four days ago (Feb 20). I called back March 3 (13 days later) because I still had not received the refund check. They said that they had put a HOLD on the check, but the check would be released today (Mar 3). They said it could take three or four weeks(!) for the check to arrive.
I had already waited 2 weeks, now they were adding 3-4 weeks. It could take 5-6 weeks total to receive a refund for the check that they told me they would not cash in the first place??? Plus I have incurred $62 in overdraft fees (so far) and have no available cash for my family as a result of their lies!?!
Kohl's obviously does not care about its customers. They could have and should have taken care of this right away! They cashed a check that they said they would not cash and are holding onto my money without authorization. Basically, they stole my money! As a single parent, I need that money to provide food for my family. There was a reason I made it clear to Kohl's that I could not make a double payment. Do they care? Heck no!! They are thieves and liars. Kohl's owes me the $343 refund + overdraft fees + late payment fee + interest.

I am sorry but I just feel compelled to write a complaint about this. I used to shop at Kohl's for my son who is 15 but I no longer do. Whoever decides what type of clothing to put out there on the floor needs some fashion advice. First of all, not every guy wants to wear skinny jeans. You should have one small section (if any at all) with a few skinny jeans for men not the whole pants section. Last time I checked, men didn't like maroon or turquoise skinny jeans. Seriously people...what the heck?! Kohl's figure this out. Please offer regular men's pants LOOSE FIT PANTS PREFERRED!! Not straight leg, not tight fit. Let's just do everyone a favor and offer regular looking jeans for men.
On another note, I went there for some new shorts for my son, who by the way like shorts to fall below the knee and EVERY PAIR OF SHORTS FOR MEN WHERE ALMOST DAISY DUKES!!! SICK!!! They are short and above the knee! I have seen men wearing these and I just don't think they know better. Probably went to a store like Kohl's and that was the only option so they picked some out. Kohl's why do you only put short shorts out there? Why not just a few and then the rest some regular length shorts for men. So weird. My son wouldn't be caught dead in any of those shorts. And Kohl's please stop trying to feminize all the men in our society. I won't be going there anymore.

I had to place an order over the phone since for some reason it was not going through online. I should have taken that as a warning. It took 30 mins to process, that part wasn't so bad. In the end I was told I would get an email within 2 hours confirming my order was placed. Never came. I called the next day since I saw a pending charge on my account, but other evidence of an order being placed. They couldn't find my name, email, phone, or really anything on file to do with me placing an order.
I called back a few days later same thing. They said to call back in a few days if it was still pending on my card and that there was no record of an order. Two days later I got part 1 of 3 of my package. The second package came a few days later and the third part was delivered to my apartments office for some reason forcing me to call them again and file a missing package report. While doing this the person I talked to prior was very careful with getting the information correct so I know when this next caller took my information messed up my email.
She made a comment on how there was a few different spelling emails on file and I made it a point to tell her not to change the spelling of the email. She totally disregarded what I said since I never got any information on my being settled and credited back to our account 5 days ago. Today I called to let them know the package has been found and I was undecided on if I was going to keep it or not. The man forced me to make a decision on the spot. I'd give them negative stars if possible.

At the beginning of December, I ordered a set of luggage from kohls.com using $75 in Kohl’s Cash and the remainder (around $38) was placed on my Visa debit. When it arrived, in mid-December, it was not what I ordered. I called customer service, and was told that I could not use that same Kohl’s cash to replace the luggage with the set that I wanted, that I could either wait until they had sent me my refund. I was also told that I should return the luggage to a store, and then a refund would be sent to me.
I needed the luggage right away, so I ordered the set again - THIS TIME WITH MY MONEY that I had not wanted to spend. A few days later, I received an email stating that I needed to return the luggage via UPS. I responded TWICE asking for instructions but learned nothing in reply. Then UPS showed up and left a sticker that I had missed them. I prepared the set to be returned on the date UPS requested. It was delivered to Kohl's on January 5.
It is now February 12, and I have received no refund. I called customer service and was told that I would receive a gift card for the $75 in the mail and a refund for the cash I had spent. On my next call, I was told that I would receive in-store credit for the entire cost of the luggage. The second option is far less appealing to me because I want a refund due to their error. However, I have received nothing to date. On my last call to customer service, the person told me that a refund had been issued to my Kohl’s charge. I do not have a Kohl’s charge.
When I call customer service, I try to talk with a manager or someone in charge, but am always told that the manager is busy helping other customers. Once, I was allowed to speak with a "floor supervisor" but that was after a lot of stalling and conversation that occurred about me, as I listened because I was not put on hold. On 1/19, I made a complaint to the BBB. They responded that they sent a refund, but the address was wrong, and they would re-send. I finally received the "refund" today (2/28) in the form of a debit card. The final insult: I knew there would be a debit card for the Kohl's cash but I should have received an actual REFUND for the out-of-pocket money I had paid.

We went to Kohls in Fontana ca and I was standing in line and didn't have enough money so my wife went to car to get more money. Well she pulled up front and sent my daughter in with the cash. I finished paying for it and started to walk out and seen wife was pulled up front with 5 cop cars and then I was rushed by police. The lost prevention called the police said that we were gonna rob kohls. They had helicopter the whole nine yards. They really embarrassed me and my family. Then they wrote my wife a 300$ ticket for parking in red. The police said that they had a call by the lost prevention saying we were about to rob them. They gave her a ticket and let us go. We were so mad we took everything we bought, walk back in store and returned our stuff which was 500 dollars cash. 02/25/2015. 8:30 pm.

Went in to return a Christmas gift, didn't have a receipt so they wanted to give a "return price" of pennies on the dollar on a product they are still selling in the store. On top of that the clerk was rude. I won't shop there again.
