Within the last 4 or 5 years I've had two negative hits from Kohl’s in my credit score. They keep switching my account from paper to paperless when I only spend 2 months of the year in land. The people taking care of my bills don’t see a bill so they do not pay it. The last time a couple of months ago I answered my phone and they told me I was late. I went to explain them AGAIN what happened and I was told not to worry if I pay right then. I did and 2 months later they hit on my score again. All I want is for them to play the recorded conversation and listen. 20 years of perfect credit ruined for $15. Look at my account. It's always pay in full as soon as I get the bill. Beware shoppers. I cancelled my account and I'm not stepping there again ever.

On October 23rd of 2016, I placed an order of 3 sandals and 3 toothbrushes using the gift card plus a 40% off coupon I got through email. My order was canceled the next day without refund. I called the customer service and was told to be refunded via mail within two weeks. After two weeks there was nothing in my mailbox so I called the customer again. Customer service told me he/she requested another gift card through mail. Similar story happened at least eight times. Until January of 2017, I called the customer service and this time the agent on the other side talked to the verification department for a while and told me your case was resolved, credit will be reversed to me.

The next day I found my gift card was canceled with the remaining balance cleared, with the total amount nearly 500 dollars. I called the customer service Andy. This time I was "fortunate" enough to be able to talk to someone in the fraud department. He told me placing an order with three gift cards of 3 sandals and 3 toothbrushes is very dubious so the fraud department thought it was a fraud transaction, so they decide to cancel my gift card. Why those hypocrites did not tell me at the very beginning to explain their decisions? Staples, Best Buy, Office Depot, Target, Walmart, Amazon never did that to their customers. I am quite sure even though merchants reserve the right to clear all member points that was considered against the rule, but I have never heard of any merchant cancel customer's gift cards.

Kohl's will make lots of money by merely cancel their customers' gift cards without any explanation. Once you are "fortunate" and "honorable" enough to be offered a chance talking to one of those bastards in so called fraud department you will be given an explanation. Do not make any online orders, be aware that your gift cards might be canceled to enrich their pockets.

Before I ordered my Ninja Coffee system I called to speak to a representative as I got burned last year when I ordered something and it arrived broken. When I went to return it they would no longer honor the sales price for an exchange. Not a different purchase. How do they get away with being thieves? I will tell you. I called after I got screwed again. I have the entire conversation in print with the rep when I called and said that is not what I got. They offered to let me return it. Sound familiar. Same as last year. They offer unbeatable prices but you are not going to get what you ordered.

When I told the representative what happened in the past and that I would voice it online she told me she could no longer speak to me if I went online and complained. Sounds like a bit of extortion to me. They will not help you if you complain against them so they lie to you, cheat you and if you say something they won't help you. I'm going to the CFPB next! THIEVES! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. You will not get what you ordered no matter how much you try. Spend dollars more and go to Bed Bath & Beyond.

In 2014 your employees allowed someone to cash 3 fake traveler's checks. They had no ID and there is a 800 on the checks stating you must call for authentication before cashing yet this person was able to enter the store 3 times and walk away with cash. My name was not printed on these checks but because this person signed my name to the back of one of them I was subsequently charged with 3 felonies. It took me an entire year to clear my name and prove my innocence. I'm out 5k in lawyers fees and all because you hire criminals and do not hold them accountable for their actions. These people still have their jobs til this day. My life was damn near ruined and you could care less about the actions of your employees. I was never compensated for what I was put through. Your company never even offered an apology.

Be aware; simply starting the process to attain a $500 Gift Card will result in the immediate release of your email contact information to a number of marketing outlets making you Mister Popular on the phishing junk email circuit! I did not complete the entire process due to mandatory subscriptions/purchases for entry access, deleted what I could, even going as far as ensuring box was blank where it's asked about receiving newsletters, updates, and such - then closed the window. Within minutes of this I began receiving junk mail: banks, insurance, credit card, loans, prizes, games, just plain crap. To the tune of over 80 each day for the next 3 days before what I'm hoping is now under control. Still I went from a fairly secure internet interface, maybe 3 or 4 scam mails per week, to close to 500 during what I've since been referring to as KOHL'S SPECIAL GIFT WEEK. Consider yourself forewarned.

I visited Kohl's and purchased a down duvet and two down pillows. The woman rang me up and asked me if I wanted a Kohl's card, she mentioned that I'd save another $50 on my purchase. After contemplating for a couple seconds I said, "No thank you, it's very tempting but I can't get a credit card right now." The woman then said that I could cancel it in a month, or never use it. I won't lie, I was tempted, but said NO at least five times. She wouldn't give up and I was running out of defense, so I told her that I was recovering from filing bankruptcy in 2015. It was important to me and my family that I make the right decisions. She said, "Well you could just sign up and see what happens." I was floored by this response! What happened to compassion, Respect? I felt broken down by this woman, she was pushy, ruthless, disrespectful. I am genuinely upset by the experience, and I will not return. I understand that getting quota is important but to what cost of others?

it for some shoes that were more suitable for me to wear. I did not have a receipt because the person that bought them paid cash and could not find the receipt. The shoes were still in the box and had a 59.99 sticker on them. I was told that because they rang up at a clearance price of 17.99 that I would have to find a pair with an original sticker of 59.99 with a 17.99 clearance price. That is like trying to find a needle in a haystack! Of course I could not find any shoes with those stipulations so I asked for the return of 17.99 on a gift card but then was told I could only have 5.99 back! I mean really if Kohl's only gives me 5.99 back are they seriously going to put those shoes on the shelf for 5.99? No they will sale them for 17.99. Seriously so fed up with Kohl's ready to cancel my own card and stop shopping there!!

I bought items and was told I could have a 40% discount if I got a credit card. Usually I say no to store cards because I almost always regret it later, but I said what the heck because my cousin was with me and encouraged me to get the discount. It was NOT worth it. Now I have a ding on my credit report and I closed the account because I was really angry at them. I have a very sick husband and we had to go 1300 miles away for treatment. I got the Kohl's card but had not activated it before I left. I gave the clerk a credit card (not a debit card) and assumed the purchase would be charged to that. The clerk NEVER told me it would be charged to the NEW card. I had no idea to even expect that. I paid my other credit cards using my phone while I was away for 2 months, but had no idea I owed the other one any money. Their calls to my home never got through to me as I was not there.

When I got back I saw they dinged my credit report. I was furious and called and paid the stupid $110 bill and canceled the card (without EVER having activated it). Their customer service said all stores do that when you open a charge. I opened a charge while away at another store similar to Kohl's and they did NOT do that. They charged it to my existing card and said they would send me the new card, which is what I expect.

I was a Kohl's customer from the start, but I will never step foot into one of their stores again. They would not fix my credit report and basically blame me and said they did everything right, but they didn't. Their clerk should have told me it was being charged to the NEW card, not the other (existing) credit card I gave her, so I would have expected a bill and I could have had my son pay it while I was away. I am DONE with Kohl's. Never again. There are plenty of better places I can shop. The way they treat their customers I am surprised they stay in business.

I was interested in purchasing a pair of Levi's which from the internet I saw were on sale. I went into the store and and was informed they were out and we could buy them at the kiosk. Went through the whole order at the kiosk and at the end it did not accept the order. Then I went to the store to return an item and was told I could get the amount of the item only the lowest price it was on sale for in the history of the item. On top of that no cash back only a card and had to spend it there at the store. I then tried to go to the Kiosk to order some Levi's and one kiosk was broken and the other was being held hostage by a customer. So one of the workers said I could order them on the customer service phone line at the store.

I called and they could find the 501 original shrink to fit Levi's. There is only one of these that Levi's makes. I asked for a customer service manager and the lower level customer service representative did not want to transfer me. I finally called back and after arguing with them got another Manager who didn't know Levi's either. By their accents they are a out of country phone customer service. Bad!! Needless to say I will never shop at Kohl's again and will post this on Facebook as well. I wish I didn't even have to give them one star!!!

I have several complaints from the last two months. First, I ordered a pearl necklace from Kohls.com. This was a gift, and when it was removed from the plastic bag in which it was shipped, all of the pearls fell in the floor. I called Kohl's because none of the local stores had it in stock. They told me that I would need to purchase a new one online and then I could return the other one to my local store. That sounded great except I had earned $10 Kohl's cash on my previous purchase so my "refund" was to be reduced by that amount even though this was not really a return but rather an exchange of defective merchandise.

I had another issue with Kohl's cash as well. I had purchased $76 worth of items and I received $10 Kohl's cash which I redeemed later. I later decided to return a $15 item from the original order. Kohl's deducted $10 from my return and was offering me $5 back. I tried to explain that I shouldn't lose my Kohl's cash because my order that I kept was still above $50 but it was like I was speaking another language. Funny how Kohl's gave me no Kohl's cash for the $26 that exceeded the $50 threshold but still somehow felt justified in penalizing me for it. This also happens on items that you just need to exchange the sizes which should never happen. I understand if someone returns their items for cash, but not for exchanges. Kohl's cash could be a great incentive program for customers but instead the way that it is handled is making customers furious.

I sent a payment in to my Kohl's credit card account and was very careful to make sure that it had the correct account number written on my check. Still, Kohl's applied the balance to another family member's account. When I pointed out their error, the customer service staff were incredibly rude and refused to take off the charges that had accrued on my account as a result of their error. Frankly, I think this should be against the law if it isn't. Do not get a credit card account with Kohl's!

I tried to return the card and have the $100.00 credited back to my Kohl's account. Kohl's policy is now I own a $100.00 gift card and now $100.00 further in debt. We thought maybe let's buy some sheets for our king size bed, bad idea they were $99.99 to use up the gift card. Bad idea, I checked online with Amazon, the same sheets were $64.99 delivered. Looks like I am stuck with this gift card. I can understand if it was a gift from someone else but this is my account it was purchased with. I am closing my Kohl's account and will never do business with Kohl's again and will go out of my way to discourage anyone from shopping at Kohl's.

I ordered a fairly expensive hoverboard for Christmas for my 11 year old son. It was delivered to our back door in its original packaging & appeared to be new. I hid it & then wrapped it on Christmas Eve. The box stayed in a closet at our home, untouched by anyone in my household (my son was out of town the week before Christmas anyway). On Christmas morning, he opened the hoverboard and was really excited until we noticed scratches all over it. The plastic on the bottom was ground down as though a 250 pound person rode it in a parking lot every day for a year. There was grass in the label. I was mortified.

I have NEVER paid full price for a completely second hand item. I was instructed to return it to my local Kohl's, which I did. It could take a few days for the money to be returned to my account. So, now, on the day after Christmas, my son doesn't have a hoverboard & I don't have the money to go buy him a new one. I was wrong for trusting Kohl's & will never do so again. We have been cheated & all we get back is our money... But not right now... It's gonna be a while. Screw you Kohl's.

I got married and received many items at our wedding, we actually received a few duplicate gifts like a juicer from Kohl's that was $329. So of course we didn't want to ask our friends for the receipt so when we went to return it for store credit and get what we wanted. We were told that because of the amount of the item that they could not issue us merchandise credit in store and that it would have to be issued from the corporate office (I guess because of loss prevention measures, which I understand). So we had to give them a picture ID and our address for the return and 2 weeks later we received an envelope from the corporate office and inside was a gift card (merchandise credit) for $358.04 ($329.99 plus tax of $28.05) so now we were able to get what we wanted.

So after receiving the merchandise credit for $358.04, my wife went on a little shopping spree and got many things for our house. So after her shopping spree she decided that instead of keeping the other $329.99 juicer she would rather have the store credit so we took the juicer and a few other items back - the juicer $329.99, Calphalon 11-piece ceramic cookware set $349.99 and a toaster over $59.99. At first we looked for something in store that we could do an exact price exchange for like a Samsonite suitcase that was $349.99 (not many items in Kohl's that are $349.99) but we were about to go on our delayed honeymoon so we thought we would just exchange it for the suitcase that we saw online.

But they didn't have it in the particular store we were at in Raleigh, NC so we went ahead and returned the other items - the juicer and toaster oven (which we knew they would have to mail us the merchandise credit) and decided to hold on to the Calphalon set to go exchange it for the Samsonite luggage at another Kohl's in Raleigh which was only 8 miles away from the Kohl's we were at. (There are 9 Kohl's in a 30 mile radius in Raleigh.) So when we arrived at the other Kohl's they did not have the Samsonite either so we searched around for something in Kohl's that was exactly $349.99 (because of their policy) and since we couldn't find a item priced at $349.99 that we wanted we decided it would be easier to just return it and get the merchandise credit and order it online.

So to recap, we just returned 2 items at one store and went to another to see if they had the luggage we wanted (due to the fact that you have to do an even exchange and can't pay extra or exchange for more than 1 item). So if it wasn't for us trying to find the luggage at another store close by we would have returned all 3 at the one store. So we received the 2 merchandise credits from the first return in the mail and they gave us 1 card for $358.04 ($329.99 plus tax of $28.05) and the 2nd card for $65.09 ($59.99 plus tax $5.10). Now we thought the other card for $379.74 ($349.99 plus tax $29.75) would arrive the same day since we returned it the same day as the other two, but it didn't.

So 2 weeks pass and still no card and in this time frame, my boss invites us to his daughter's graduation party and for a graduation gift I thought it would be nice to give her one of the Kohl's gift cards we received. And to make an impression we gave her the big one of the two, the $358.04 one. (That way it didn't look weird giving her one for $65.04, lol!) If it was for $358.04 they would just be blown away at the amount vs. saying, "$64.05? That's a weird number." But here's where the story gets bad. I come to work one day (about a 4 days after my boss' daughter's graduation party) and my boss says to me, "Hey buddy, just wanted to say thanks again for giving my daughter that huge gift card, that was very generous of you and you really didn't have to do that." And I said, "It was our pleasure, I remember getting ready for my first year of college and it can be quite expense just buying things for your dorm room or apartment."

And he says, "It sure can! But hey, my daughter went to Kohl's and tried to use the card and the lady at the register said that she needed to call the 1-800 number and that there was a problem with the card. So my daughter called and they told her that there was a freeze on the card and that they needed to talk to me" and I told him that I was very sorry and that I would get to the bottom of this. First off, I can't begin to explain how embarrassing that was and second I was now very upset especially since I still had not received our other card.

So when I called I got questioned about why I had so many returns in a short period of time with no receipt and I told them it was because I just got married and didn't have the receipts and did not want to call my friends and family to ask for them. And they asked me why and that it wouldn't be embarrassing for them and then they asked why I had returned 2 items at one store and then made another return 2 hours later at another store. And I explained to them that they had a terrible policy of having to exchange the item for something else in the store of the exact same price and not a penny higher or penny lower and that I was trying to exchange for a Samsonite piece of luggage and they didn't have it at the one store and that hopefully they had it at the other Kohl's 8 miles away and when they didn't, I just opted to return it and get the store credit instead.

But they weren't buying my story and just kept grilling me as if I was some kind of thief. So then they informed me that if I didn't come up with the receipts that they were not going to reactivate the cards and even better that they were not going to send me my items back. So this got me very upset and in the meantime I went to Kohl's and bought a $400 gift card to give to my boss' daughter to save myself the embarrassment, but now I went from giving her a gift that cost me nothing to spending $400 of my own money. Now I had to call my friends and family and ask if they could send me the receipts for the items I had returned (embarrassment Number 2). So one of my friends sent me the receipt for the item (which I felt bad for returning his gift and also felt bad for creating work for him of having him mail me the receipt since he lives in another state).

Now here goes the good part, my friend who bought me the juicer, when I asked him if he could send me the receipt for the juicer he bought me from Kohl's he told me that he didn't buy it from Kohl's and that he found the same exact juicer they sold at Kohl's (same brand, model, etc. - identical) 25% cheaper online and that he could email me the receipt. So when I called Kohl's back up and told them that I had one of the receipts and that the other juicer wasn't even bought from their store and sent them the receipt and link of where my friend purchased it. So I told them that I would like my merchandise credit for the one and for them to send my other juicer back so I could return it back to the online store of where it was purchased and where I had a receipt to.

And this is the greatest part of the story, they told me that if I could not produce a receipt of where it was purchased from Kohl's that they were not going to send it back. And we argued back and forth and the end result was they deactivated my 2 merchandise credits they sent me and never sent the third one and kept all 3 of my items (the juicer $329.99, Calphalon 11-piece ceramic cookware set $349.99 and a toaster over $59.99). They basically stole the items from me after grilling me and me having a answer for all of their tough questions (and answers that made a ton of sense and making them realize they have a flaw in their system). But I can't tell you the hell they put me through, from the embarrassment and humiliation they caused me, calling me a thief (when I have a job as a financial advisor), costing me money ($400 I had to cover for my boss' daughter) and to top it all off they stole 3 of my wedding gifts.

So Kohl's return policy of high priced items or when you have over $300 dollars in returns with no receipt is a horribly structured policy. I understand that there are some people out there that these policy were made for, but me proving to them that I was just married and them not accepting the fact that people get gifts and that a red flag popped up on me when I made a return at another store 8 miles away and because of their exact price exchange policy that I went to the other store to see if they had a specific item or more items (because the 2nd store I went to was bigger than the 1st - one story building vs. 2 story building in a bigger/busier part of town) I just want my items back and can not believe that they can get away with not having to send the item back to the person.

I ordered a ring from Kohl's on Nov. 23. My tracking information showed that it would be delivered to me on Dec. 2. On Dec. 2, when I did not receive the package, I checked the tracking info again. It showed in tracking that a label had been created, but it appeared the package had never left Kohl's shipping department. I immediately got online and did the live chat session. I asked the attendant why was the package still sitting there when it was due to arrive to me that day. She looked into it and told me that my order had been canceled for some unknown reason by Kohl's. I was really upset that they had canceled my ordered, but the payment was deducted from my banking account. But, at that time I did still have time to get the ring if they would fix this error.

The attendant told me that they would have to issue a refund for the order and that I would need to place another order for the ring. She then explained that it would take 7 days to receive the refund. I started to panic, knowing that would put me around Dec. 9, being able to place the order again. She advised me to speak with a customer service agent and gave me the number. I did call and talk to an agent. Absolutely no help at all. And honestly, somewhat abrupt to my situation. He told to just place another order (which I would have to pay for the item again) and I would get my original $823.00 credited back to my account in the 7 days. Thank God I did not!!! Because it is Dec. 22 and I have yet to receive my money back... I have done numerous chat sessions and each time the attendant would look into it and tell me to rest assured that I would get my money credited back. And always asking for me to be patient.

In the meanwhile, a package did come from Kohl's around Dec. 7 or 8th. I was somewhat amazed that it did come since I had been told my order had been canceled and I did not place another order for it. But... I was happy... at least I was happy until I opened the box. I opened to box only to find a packing slip for the ring. No Ring. No Ring Box. No Anything... just a packing slip. Now, needless to say, all kind of thoughts were running through my head, but I tried to remain calm and I got back online and told another attendant what I had received. Again, I was told that I was to receive a credit for the item and to just be patient. Each attendant was very nice, other than the one I spoke with on the phone. But, unfortunately, I still have not gotten this resolved.

My last conversation was Tuesday, Dec. 20, with the live chat. And still, I'm being told the credit is being issued. But I was also told that Kohl's was waiting a response from the vendor. Not sure why I was told this. I made the purchase from Kohl's. The issue between Kohl's and its vendor should not be my problem. Kohl's should make this right, and then resolve any vendor issue without me suffering. This was a Christmas gift, and I am down to the wire. I have to go out and make a purchase to replace it, and Kohl's is dragging their feet getting me my money back. I have never encountered such an issue in my entire life. I just can't see it being that hard to resolve this problem.

I'm furious and will never order one thing from Kohl's again. And more than likely, never step foot into one of their stores. This has been a pure nightmare... and all I am getting is "Please be patient." I've been more than patient. Stayed in contact with them to be sure it didn't slide through the cracks. Since this was a good sum of money, I have no choice but to pursue legal action. WOW. Thank you Kohl's for such a great experience.

Since 2007, I have had 2 Kohl's credit cards. 1 for everyday use and the other for Christmas only. I hide my Christmas credit card and went to Kohl's to make my Christmas purchases on Dec 21, 2017. When I went to check out, I told them that I had 2 accounts and that I misplaced my Christmas credit card. No problem they said. "We can look it up." They called corporate office and explained that I had 2 accounts. Corporate said that was impossible, they only authorize 1 account per person. Mind you almost 10 years I have been using these accounts. Balance $0.00. Corporate at that time when they found that I did have 2 accounts for the past almost 10 years Closed My Christmas account and refused to let me purchase my things on that card, saying that it was a CORPORATE MISTAKE and it had to be closed!! REALLY!!! So they closed the account and I left without my Purchases.

The Staff at the Central Park location in Fredericksburg, Va were Great. They completely understood and felt horrible about what had just happened. I GET PENALIZED FOR SOMETHING I'VE HAD FOR 10 YEARS and USED MANY TIMES BECAUSE THEY MADE A 10 YEAR MISTAKE. I will pay off my everyday used account and will close that account as well. Honestly, I don't feel that I was treated fairly!!! NOT A VERY GOOD POLICY!!! Who are they to say you can only have 1 Account? If you make your payments who cares how many accounts you have!! 2 cards worked for me, I always had that extra Christmas account to fall back on to help others in need at the Holidays!! I got a Kohl's credit card because I was drawn in by their sales and rewards my friend was always talking about. I went to use it for the first time today to buy some learning toys for my preschool. The toys were marked 50% off plus I got a 20% extra promotional discount. What a deal I thought. After I bought my items I went online to compare since I was new to Kohl's system. To give you an example I bought a game that was originally priced at $29.99 for 50% off plus the 20% discount ending up at around $12.00, great deal, right? I go online and that's around the price Target sells it full price. It was that way for each item. They marked them way up then reduced them and then gave an extra discount and ended up about the same price as other stores normal prices. I am taking it all back even though it's more work for me because I don't want to buy from a business that is shady like this.

Last night as I was ready to wrap my Christmas present I realized that the Makeup Explosion Train Case that I order was not in the box; instead there was OBSESSION COLOGNE FOR MEN.

When I called 866-887-8844 the first person did not even tried to help, he asked me to go to a nearest store and return the item and that he will cancel my order so I could get the credit for it. I was not satisfied therefore I called again. The second time I called a lady name Besabell didn't even got close to help me when she heard how frustrated I was, turned to be rude and she transferred me to the satisfaction survey. Of course I took the survey and picked one as completely unsatisfied.

On my third call I spoke to Victor who all through my frustrations listened to me and explained that my desired item was not in stock anymore. He offered a refund to my card in the next week? HOW TERRIBLE THIS COULD BE? What did I do wrong? What I didn't do so this could have been a smooth transaction? You guys messed up my girl Christmas. I am completely disgusted doing business with KOHL's.

Found out that the rest of my order had been broken up into 4 packages and sent in the mail. All labeled incorrectly and returned to sender. So I call 3 times before I find out that I have to place a new order, pay AGAIN for the order and once the return to sender items get restocked and a return order placed I will get refunded. I would lose my Kohl's cash discount I paid with and the online discount code I used! I pitched a fit, got a supervisor who added the discounts back in, but I STILL had to front the money and watch for a refund.

They made the mistake, but I have to pay to fix it! That is WRONG! I will not use their online service again! What company makes a mistake and charges their customers for it? He could see in the notes with the tracking what had happened. Poor customer service from a company who needs to remember they wouldn't be in business without their customers. They lost one today.

My order kept getting cancelled by Kohl's for no reason, it happened at least 4 times in the past few weeks. It's really annoying. I had to call in to replace the orders. Some were taken care of (although I had to waste a lot of time), but most recently I ordered a sweater, and it got cancelled again. When I called in (I talked to someone named Mesha), she said I could replace the order, but said I could not get the same discount if I try to order the same item. She said she talked to her supervisor already about it but she could not give me the same discount.

Upon requesting to speak to her supervisor, she said the supervisor (named Anna) is on the phone. I waited for about 20 min. When I asked her supervisor is still on the phone, I did not get any response. She was ignoring me. I said I'm writing a bad review online, after which she immediately started talking to me and said I could get the same discount. She had been lying to me. I eventually was able to reorder with the same discount but it was a horrible experience. I felt I was played by the customer representative with her lies.

Where to begin? Barb ** at the Newark store was absolutely incredible. Being out shopping for 3 weeks and visiting multiple stores has been taxing. That being said, today, we had to return a drone type product that my husband bought that was defective. Neither one of us really wanted to go to Kohl's a week before Christmas because we've been shopping there long enough to know that the line to check out is ALWAYS 4 miles long. Which is awesome for Kohl's and hope the business continues to thrive. The line was long and she opened up to help us. Even got my husband to open an account, which is something I've not been able to do for years. She was extremely helpful and very informative.

By far, the best, most accommodating store employee I've met thus far during the Christmas season. I will continue to shop at the Newark Kohl's merely because I know if I have an issue, Barb ** is there to assist me. Great job Kohl's management for hiring such a thoughtful and helpful individual. An individual. Not an employee. She made my experience so great that I will continue to shop at your store. Barb **. My reason is because of her desire.

I placed an order a few weeks ago and received the wrong item. I wanted to exchange it for the right item and it has proven to be incredibly frustrating. Since this has happened, I have had to go through two chats, two visits to the store, and two phone calls and still ended up having to pay more than I initially did just to get it corrected. (Originally, it cost $20 and I received $2 back. I had to pay for it again when they ordered it on the phone for $15 -- so with what I've received back versus what I had to pay again, I've paid $13 more for the same set of goods. I had redeemed the Kohl's Cash on a subsequent order and I understand the return policy of Kohl's that it needs to be deducted so people aren't pocketing artificial dollars, but in this case I'm penalized for doing a flat exchange).

Throughout this process I was assured the store could do this for me and if not to call back. There are multiple incident numbers in my name and I was told my account was notated I would get the full refund/equal exchange. This is terrible customer service and I am reluctant to order from Kohl's again. Had it been my mistake and I had ordered the wrong size or color, I would accept responsibility for it. Kohl's is not doing the same and has penalized me financially for their error. I have never had such a frustrating customer experience and I am astounded by the little that anyone seems to be able to do to correct this.

I ordered a Dallas Cowboy ornament during the Black Friday sale and it was broken in 3 pieces when I received it. I called Kohls.com CS and the person who helped (or didn't help) told me I needed to take the item back to my local store and told me 3 times my store would have a replacement item for me. The reason I questioned him 3 times was because we live in California and they typically don't carry Dallas Cowboy items. Of course when we get there, nope, not only did they NOT have the item, they and any nearby store never ordered the item. Yup, just like I thought.

I also placed an ordered for over $100 of Keurig coffee on Cyber Monday. The order was split into 2 deliveries and on the second, I received a pair of $60 shoes with my 2 boxes of coffee. The shoes weren't on the invoice, so if I was not the honest person I am, I could have kept them and sold them and made money. When I told the CS rep about the shoes in the same conversation about the ornament, there was no "thank you" for telling us, he told me I also needed to take them to a Kohl's store.

So I had to wait 15-20 minutes in a Kohl's return line for an online order issue that WASN'T my fault. So stupid. The CS rep at the store told me I then needed to call Kohls.com to get another ornament sent to us. Easier said than done. The first person needed me to repeat the same thing at least 4 times and then got sarcastic with me telling me she needed my cooperation for solve this problem. I then asked for a supervisor and was transferred to another rep who wouldn't transfer me to a supervisor without giving her ALL my information. At that point, NO I didn't want to give her my email address and asked for a supervisor AGAIN. I then got hung up on but was transferred to a survey where she got the worst survey possible.

I called back AGAIN and asked right away to talk to a supervisor and to my surprise, was transferred right away. What??? He didn't need all my info which means the previous rep was just being a total witch. I finally talked to a nice supervisor who told me that all the calls were recorded so he would find the reps that treated me so badly and they would be talked to. He then apologized a couple times and sent me the item at a discount with free expedited shipping.

It honestly takes A LOT to upset me and I was in shock that 3 different CS reps treated me so horribly. I will be calling corporate on Monday to further file a complaint because as it stands right now, I will never shop Kohls.com again. When I called the first time, I was expecting to get a return label or something for the broken item and the shoes that I never paid for or ordered. We shop online especially around this time as the stores are SO busy. Kohl's really needs to do an overhaul on the online CS. I would have given them a 0 stars if it was possible.

When I saw the girl this evening at a family gathering, she said she had not received the card. Later, her mother told me she had "suddenly discovered" Kohl's email. Suspecting that perhaps the mother had spent the gift money meant for the girl, I called Kohl's customer service and asked for the status of the gift card, but was told they couldn't tell me anything, and that I'd have to talk with the recipient (the 12-year-old) as to the status. I explained that I had paid for the card, I'm the customer, and the account is in my name. It didn't matter. The rep would tell me nothing. I called a few weeks ago about a price match with an item I had already received from Kohl's and the current online price. It took a few minutes to get a live person on the line, but the lady was super nice and said it would take a few minutes to get it all sorted out. I advised I was in a hurry and I could just call back. I had the item and order # and price difference, etc. on hand and it was all discussed w/ her. I wrote down all the numbers we discussed. She said she would be happy to sort through it all and call me back shortly, to which I replied, "that would be great!" That was a few weeks ago and shame on me I forgot to write down the date that I called, with all the other information I had written down. I sat down this am to pay my Kohl's bill and realized she had never returned my call.

I called customer service today and the 1st question I asked when I got someone on the phone was, "what notes do you have in the system from my previous phone call?" They had no record of me calling, i.e.: no notes, no record, nothing. I re-explained the situation and she said she'd need to connect me with another department. I went through the entire conversation all over again, with someone I had a really hard time understanding. She connected me with someone else, who ultimately said she was going to connect me with her supervisor. I asked if that would be an immediate connection b/c at this point I had been on the phone for 55 minutes and was tired of retelling my story and being switched to different departments. She assured me it was an immediate connection.

20 minutes of waiting went by and I decided to call from another phone line. I got online with another person and started all over. I let her hear that I was still on hold with Kohl's on another phone line - still waiting for that "immediate connection" with a supervisor. 1 hour 25 minutes and 40 seconds into my original phone call, it just disconnected and started making a busy signal. I told the girl I was on the phone with at the time and let her hear what was now a busy signal. She was sorry just like everyone else that I talked to, but no action was being taken. I was so so so frustrated. However, a service guy was at my house and commented to me, "you are the most patient woman I know. If I was on that phone call I'd be cussing them out." This was b/c you could obviously tell I was frustrated but I was trying really hard to keep being nice. I just wanted some resolve.

So then, surprise surprise, she connected me with her supervisor, who said they had no record of my original call and now it's past the 14 day adjustment date, so one thing he did know for sure was that there was absolutely no way at all that I would get an adjustment. He said he would get the IT department to look into and see if they could trace a call. I asked him what would happen when the IT department found the call? He said he would be sure that customer service gets more training, but if they gave me an adjustment it would open up the door for the policy to be broken on other customers as well and they just won't do that.

Are you kidding me? I will NEVER shop at Kohl's again. Oh, and the 2nd phone call was 1 hour and 2 minutes. So a total of 2 hours and 27 minutes spent dealing with this today. Lesson learned! A customer lost for life over $49.93.

I used the Kohl's cash in another online purchase a week later. After the Kohl's cash was applied, $44 was charged to my CC. When the merchandise from my first order came, they were either damage or the material was of low quality. I decided to return the damaged and low quality items from the first purchase. $30 was taken off the total that was supposed to credit back to my CC.

When the items from my second order came, they were not damage but they were of low quality for the price. I returned them all. Instead of getting $144 credit back to my account, I only get $114 back. My other $30 was refunded in the form of Kohl's cash with an expiration date. What was supposed to be a gift now became a penalty. It seems to me to be a scam disguised as Kohl's cash gift. It is my fault to not read their policy on Kohl's cash. But no other department store pull this kind of scam. For example, JCPenney would refund all my money regardless I used their $10 or $20 gift or not. I would not recommend Kohl's to anyone.

Made a purchase on Black Friday online, purchased a ring. Of course I got the Kohl's Cash the most you get all year. I purchased a ring, PS4, and some boots. The PS4 and boots shipped within the first 2 days. The ring shipped a week later. You have an expiration to spend your Kohl's Cash. I literally waited until the deadline. I had 375.00 in Kohl's Cash and I certainly did not want to lose it!! The issue was I had not received my whole order. I went ahead and made additional purchases with my Kohl's Cash. The two days after my Kohl's Cash would have expired. I get the ring, it doesn't fit, the quality is horrible. So I take it to my local Kohl's to return it.

Now, I know they deduct your Kohl' Cash. So when she told me the amount was 300 less I would receive I was not surprised. But, this is what I am upset about!! I would have liked my full refund, so I asked "if I brought all the items back, including the items I purchased with Kohl's Cash, could I get a full refund?" She said "NO, whatever you purchased with Kohl's Cash will be refunded with Kohl's Cash." But, they took 300.00 in cash from me!!! And I didn't even get my ring until after my Kohl's Cash was expired and had I not used it, I would have lost out on it altogether!! So, had I brought all the items back I would have gotten my cash plus Kohl's Cash to used in their store, which I will not be going to again!! All I wanted was a full refund!!

When I mentioned that the Kohl's Cash was expiring before I even got my ring to know that I was returning it, she said "well how is Kohl's to know how long it takes for an item to get there?" So fix it!!! If you make a purchase online Kohl's how about you make the expiration of the Kohl's Cash longer... Like after they get their items!! If you purchase in store then keep it the same!! I kept the ring and sold it online for what I paid!! But, it's sad that they wouldn't let me return all items to get all my cash back, instead they would rather lose a customer!!

A man answer the phone and ask all kind of question, such as "How old are you are? You live in apt or house? Rent or own?" All kinds of crazy question.

Finally he said "everything sounds good." He need to transfer me back to the customer several. After few minutes a lady answer the phone and told me "our computer is down, you need to call back in couple hour." I spent at least 5 hours and talk to at least 15 people, still not complete the order (when I call they always ask me to hold to speak to different people, I have to speak to several people every time I called). This is worst company ever, super bad. Several I waste too much time, and finally they had never ship me the order. I will never order from them again.

The manager said they just changed their return policy 2 months ago. Wish they would have notified me!!! Feeling out in the cold and very mad. Will not be shopping at Kohl’s again. They have a hard time understanding me & I have a hard time understanding them. I feel this is Kohl's problem as they do not care about me or my order just the money they are going to get. Well, people, I say "stop buying from them, cancel your credit card & do not do business with them any longer." That is the only way they will change is when you hit them in the pocketbook. I will not place any more order with them before Xmas, this is the last time I will put up with their "crap." Oh, Kohl's said I should call FedEx with the problem &

FedEx said I should call Kohl's to tell them there is a definite problem with this order!!!

Haha they never shipped my order... I called again today and placed again under different card not Kohl's. I thought that may be the issue. I got order number and email verification... Guess what? They cancelled my order again... My card shows charges by them then refunding it. I can't believe it. They're servicing like 3rd world country... I have been shopping at Kohl's for nearly 10 years. NO LONGER. My nightmare started on 11/27 when their website crashed and I had to go back in and reorder my items. I find out later the original order went through. In the meantime I had changed my email address as my previous one was no longer accessible. Their claim of "No Hassle Returns" is outright false. I spent 45 minutes on the phone on 12/6 (my second call) first with Jaya then Adele. They finally TOLD ME OUTRIGHT they would issue me a call tag to return the items since the nearest store is over an hour away from me. I kept waiting for me label to be emailed me - to no avail and confirmed my correct/new email address at least four times. I called back AGAIN today and spoke first with Anna who told me my only two options were to return the items to the store or pay for the return shipping regardless of it being their error.

I asked for a supervisor. I was given to Siborla who not only told me the same thing but said a label was sent to my OLD email and they could not forward it to my new email and that I had been misinformed on the fact that Kohl's would pay for the return shipping. She kept repeating herself and asked me if I could get to my old email - I told her AGAIN - NO, as my father had passed away in May. She said she understood. Really? She understood that my father died? I asked her to speak with her super and she said she was the ONLY super on the floor and that she did not have a super. I then asked to speak to a manager and she told me "managers don't take phone calls".

I then asked for the corporate telephone number and she told me she did not have access to that info. REALLY!!!??? BUT she could tell me how to access it online but she had no access to do so. I can guarantee I will NEVER shop at ANY Kohl's again and will advise others that as well. This is just a brief description. I could go on much longer, but it is rather pointless.

The site is constantly "dancing" is the best word. You tap your item & it jumps to a prior item, page, etc. Getting it to stay on one product while you try to read the description is nearly impossible. I'm done. They also pack their items terribly. I order two 3x6 pillar candles. They sent them in a non-padded bag, inside just wrapped in paper. The candles are full of dents & chips. I am done!!!

Like Charlie Brown falling for the football trust game with Lucy, I returned to Kohls.com after a two year hiatus prompted by several bad experiences. A cash off coupon sent to my home enticed me to return to what was previously an excruciating online ordering process. I found no improvement. The site was slow and it took one hour to shop for three items and load my cart. When I attempted to check out the coupon wouldn't work and after 45 minutes on hold a CSR answered and told me there was nothing he could do but if I tried to use it tomorrow it would probably work. I explained it was valid now and I needed to use it that day in order to take advantage of the sale prices that expired that night. Once again he stated he could not help me.

I asked if a manager was onsite and after huffing "yes" was placed on hold again. After 20 more minutes of lost life time, I hung up. Horrible! I immediately went to Amazon and while the order cost a few dollars more, I placed it with one click after 3 minutes of shopping. You get what you pay for and poor service is what you get with Kohls.com.

The evening of Nov.14 I placed an order online with Kohl's. It never gave me the opportunity to verify my shipping address. After I confirmed the order it popped up with my son's former address in San Diego. I tried immediately to change the address & it would not allow. I tried the help line & they were closed. First thing the next morning I called & a young man stated he was cancelling it & I should go online & make a new order. It did not show as cancelled so I called again. I got a young lady in Monterey MX & she seemed sincere. She said that it was too late to cancel & she would help me reorder & have it sent to my Ohio home. She stated that the wrong order would still go out to San Diego & they would notify the shipper to retrieve it.

I asked her if the package was not there would I still be charged. She stated that I would not be charged. So I received the 2nd order at my Ohio home. On Dec. 1 I checked my Kohl's acct & sure enough I was being charged for both orders. When I called I once again got the Monterey MX call center & had to talk with 3 agents. The last one, Armondo, stated he was a supervisor but he was if no real help. He said that an investigation would have to take place. He seemed not to care what I had been told on Nov. 15. He then did state he would try to rush through the investigation but I would get a credit. In the last 3 days I have received emails from different agents confirming that the shipment arrived.

When I have answered back that they are not looking at the complete incident report & then, believe it or not, the last one suggested I go to the residence in San Diego & check with the residents there. I live in Ohio! This is the worst experience I have had with a retailer. Every agent gives different information. And their website is very flawed. I have written to an email address that I found for their executive offices. I need to have the $170 credited on my acct. This is so unprofessional & fraudulent. After this is hopefully resolved I believe I will close my Kohl's acct & discontinue shopping with them altogether.

On december 4th I went to Kohl's to purchase some Christmas items. The line to purchase the items was literally half way around the store. When it was finally my turn, I paid for my items and left after waiting over an hour and a half in line. The next day when I reviewed what I had purchased I noticed that the cashier did not give me my 25% discount. This was very irritating to me because this meant I would have to deal with another line. On december 5th I went to customer service waiting 30 minutes to be attended. Meanwhile, I wanted to purchase a foam mattress that was very heavy to lug around the store and being that they made a mistake yesterday I was hoping they would compensate me for my time by allowing me to purchase the item at customer service and get my 25% off.

The asst mgr who was extremely rude. Told me that I could not purchase the item at customer service and that I would have to wait another line. I was so upset and told him that the cashier from yesterday made a mistake made me come back for my discount and out of courtesy they should allow me to purchase the foam mattress. He said NO! "Can't you read the sign lady." He was so rude about it and I told him I could not carry this heavy item around.

He agreed to carry it down stairs and again the line was clearly almost around the store again! I told "I can't believe you're going to make me wait again." He was so sarcastic and rude and in front of everyone in line humiliated me by saying, "Look lady you have to wait in line like everyone else. Who do you think you are?" I was so humiliated that I left the store not purchasing anything and will close my account. I asked for the manager's name and he refused to give me his last name, his tag read John and he said, that's all I needed to know. This was the store in Alhambra, CA.

I sent in the rebate receipt, form, and the cut out of the product UPS bar code from the item and mail it in for the rebate. Weeks later I received a confirmation letter that they received my mail, but said that it can't process it because the UPS bar code is invalid. What a rip off with this mail in rebate.

If you do, you will have to pay back for Kohl's Cash from your pocket. Actually it is not the rewards, it is indirect way to force you for following things, returns within a week, before spending Kohl's Cash.

Do another shopping within a week with original price by Kohl's Cash. No discount apply. Pay back for the Kohl's Cash you earned. Once you spend Kohl's Cash, No return possible. After that, you have to pay from your pocket. Everyone has to understand this policy is made for Kohl's benefit, not for Customer benefit. Be aware. Try to understand from below flow.

My daughter and I went shopping for xmas gifts. Upon arriving home we were stapling the gift receipts to the item tickets. I had 3 receipts for Nike socks; however I only purchased 2 packages of socks. I reviewed my receipt and saw that I was double charged $16.00 for a package of socks. I drove back to the store with my merchandise and receipt. I explained that I was over-charged. The clerk said "okay I can credit you $7 and change." I said that was not correct as it was a $16.00 over-charge. She explained it was because I used Kohl's cash. I told her "no, my Kohl's cash was applied to an item I did not purchase. Void the entire transaction and re-ring it correctly." Naturally, she had to speak with the manager.

The clerk explained and the manager all but accused me of stealing. I told her to play the tape (video) of the transaction or speak to the original clerk. She treated me as if I was a thief. Then her cohorts start chiming in and telling me they have to be sure I did not receive the item. Now I have 4 incompetent clerks that are clueless accusing me of stealing. The manager decides to have the inventory counted. She received a callback and I hear her respond, "Oh why do I have to tell her".

Apparently, the inventory check showed one package more than what they should have had. So, the manager gives the clerk the okay to credit my account. No apology. Then once again they attempt to give me a $7 credit for a $16.00 charge with additional credit to my Kohl's cash. I told the clerk that I would not accept it. That I should not have had to pay out of pocket $50 for the entire transaction and use my existing Kohl's cash on a purchase I did not make. My out of pocket should have been reduced. I again requested the entire transaction to be voided and re-rung. The manager once again steps in. I very calmly explained that my Kohl's cash was applied to a non-purchase because it was an over-ring. She could not understand. I told her to void the entire transaction and start over. After much attitude she tells me she would return everything and re-ring it, not void it.

After I finally get the receipt for the return and the new purchase, I remained at the counter to read the new receipt to make sure it was correct when I hear another clerk mocking me for reading the receipt. I told the manager that I heard what the clerk said and I do not appreciate it. That they all need to learn how to do their jobs. While walking to my car I phoned my daughter to explain why I was taking so long and told her what happened. She asked what was my new out of pocket and she said that it was incorrect - they did not reapply the 25% discount. Once again I had to go back and have my receipt corrected. Unbelievable.

I'm just glad this happened at a time when the store was empty as close to midnight (closing time) and not a lot of other customers to see me being humiliated and treated as if I was a thief when in fact they were the thieves for charging me twice for the same item. Also, no apology. Not for the inconvenience; not for the over-charge and not for missing the 25% off coupon. It was as if I inconvenienced them.

Today is Dec 3. Kohl's doesn't even know where the TV is, customer service asked me to wait 21 days until Dec 13, and if it still doesn't arrive then contact them again! Another "supervisor" is even more "awesome". She suggests I can cancel the order and place another TV worth $699 with 15% discount! The worst thing is they blame UPS, but "Label Created" status means UPS has not physically received the package yet. Kohl's just lies and doesn't even know how to find my TV, and doesn't want to take the responsibility. I'll see when my TV can arrive.

This is my first time shopping at Kohl's and this is the first impression, so disappointed. Yes they have discount and cash back, yes their representatives are polite, but that won't change the fact they treat you like idiots and don't care about your reviews about Kohl's. They just don't solve the problems caused by their own faults. Actually for Black Friday I also bought online in Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Clinique, Puritan and I have received all already and nothing was cancelled. Kohl's, so disappointed.

The representative told me to wait until I received an email with a tracking number. They would then be able to cancel the order. This makes no sense. I called customer service for the third time and was told that representative number two had given me false information. This latest representative told me that I had a case file and would get an email from the company in 5 working days. What does this mean? I'll have to wait 5 working days for an email to tell me what? The order is currently being delivered to my old address and my credit card has been charged regardless of the fact that I've desperately been trying to resolve this issue, in good faith, since I placed the order.

It's clear to me that there was no real attempt to resolve this issue. The third representative had to ask me what my problem was since the only information in my "case file" was the contents of my order and the detail that I was unhappy with this order. Furthermore, the only email responses I EVER received from this company after my three phone calls were emails asking me to take surveys - not a single email regarding my issue. First they call it Kohl's CASH NOT reward, certificate, points or coupon so when you use it, it should be applied after all discounts. NO, not their cash system. They will apply the Kohl's cash before any other percentage discounts, or rewards. Then afterward the percentage discount doesn't apply correctly. This was what happen. Kohl's have College hoodies on sale for $19.99, I added in 3 total into the cart plus a cargo short for $15.00. The total was $74.97. After 20% discount the total was suppose to be $59.97 and after my Kohl's cash ($30) it should drop to $29.97 plus tax, but no. So researched what's the deal with the Kohl's cash and I found out they apply that "cash" before the percentage discount.

In addition their numbers didn't come down to $35.97. Instead, after that 20% discount the total discount was only $3.00 so the total was 35.97 + the tax after the "cash" discount. Unbelievable. 2 hrs wasted on browsing their website to find what I need and that's how they scam their customers. I am going to return ALL my purchases to their store (because unlike other big chains Kohl's want their customers to pay for return cost) and NEVER go back again, EVER!!! I will also file a complaint with the District Attorney to deal with this Greedy ** company. They had many cases with their Kohl's cash policy and yet they still want to keep it so chances are they are doing a great job on scamming unaware consumers.

PS for those that want to defend this Company's policy, please remember you pay AFTER you applied discount not before it. Because if that's case businesses can offer 90%-95% discounts with the condition consumers have to pay the balances prior to applying discount. As in you buy a product then you pay for the product with your cash then 90% discount on your 0 balance. This is exactly what Kohl's is doing.

Whenever I order online, there's always been an issue, and I always have to talk to their horrible customer service. My most recent experience was today, when I wasted an hour on the phone with them, and this is after my online struggles. I tried to return a dress and exchange a pair of leggings for a different size. Weeks later, I notice that the amount I received in Kohl's cash and on my card does not account for the amount that I was owed back. Today, I call them, and tell them this issue and they notice, same as me, that there is $9 unaccounted for that they owed me, and claimed the issue was from corporate. That is unacceptable! They tried to snipe me of $9 hoping I wouldn't notice.

Then onto the exchange. I didn't get my new leggings. They said, "we don't exchange, we just give Kohl's cash." Well, then that means I have to pay shipping. So I tell this rep about this issue, and they offer to waive my shipping. I'm ordering with my husband's card. Because I am a girl, they can tell that I am not a guy, and always need to speak to my husband. Well, so after they screw up the order, they start placing my order, then after I've wasted 20 mins (per call) they say, "Oh I must talk to your husband."

Then I say I need to call back and they promise to save my order... Well, they never do, so the horrible process repeats. I tried to place my order online hoping that I could call and have them waive the shipping if I talked to a rep on the phone (I'd seen someone else get their shipping waived after they'd placed their order, so I figured I could too). But then they made me cancel my order which I begged and pleaded not to have to do, and they promised they would only ask me for a few things. Finally, after another 20 mins of talking on the phone, the order got placed.

I've had multiple instances like this now, and I'd say, overall, I've spent about 5 hrs trying to figure out shipping and other issues. And when you call, you have to click 5 numbers to even talk to a rep, during which they try to be helpful, but have very strict rules and aren't easily understandable. Once, they cancelled my order without telling me, and I was very rushed on needing a product before I went to town. So then, even though I paid for quick shipping, I didn't receive it on time, because they think it's OK to just cancel orders without a notification. And, I believe the issue with that was again the discrepancy between my name and the name on the card.

The new Kohl's coupons system is so horrible. The Kohl's cash has expiration dates, and the coupons have such slim margins. Also the shipping... it should not take $75 worth of goods to get free shipping, and then even if you do have $75 worth of products, if you have Kohl's cash and coupons that take the price down from $75 (and before taxes), then you have to pay for shipping! Ridiculous system!

TL; DR I enjoy the products at Kohl's, but what does that say about a business that they tried to take $9 from me and treat the customers that are already having issues with Kohl's this way? They screw things up, and then I have to waste 3 hours of my time making calls to many different reps, when they promise it'll be fast. Done with kohls.com and close to done with Kohl's overall...

Kohl's merchandising and pricing is very good. However, the Kohl's cash promotion is a bit confusing, a greater use and possibly larger sale discounts would be a more straightforward and less time-consuming experience. The major problem is their website. About half the time, when you enter a sale discount code it will not go through. Significant delays in dealing with sales personnel and sale supervisors. The website problems turn what should be a pleasant short process into an ordeal too often. I give sales manager credit for giving free home service to rectify the problem but what should have been a 10 minute website transaction turned into an hour.

DO NOT SHOP AT KOHL'S. THEY DON'T KEEP THEIR PROMISES! Purchased a TV on their Thanksgiving Doorbuster Deals online and received a email confirmation and the additional Kohl's Cash of $120.00 to use the following week. This morning, Monday 28, 2016, I received an email that my order has been canceled because it is SOLD OUT! I have called Kohl's Corporate office and can't get any assistance, they just transfer from one phone to another.

Finally, after being on the phone with their CSO for 55 minutes, the rep stated that they would allow a tv that was a little more for the inconvenience, but that was a BIG JOKE. When he tried to process the order he wasn't able to get it overridden. So, I requested a supervisor and she finally was going to send me another tv, but would need an override from the next level and would call me back in 1 to 1 1/2 hours with the approval. I never did hear back from Jenny the supervisor. I have spent thousands of dollars with this company and I am a so called MVC member and what ** service. I will no longer be shopping with them ever again.

Not sure why someone would give Kohl's a 1 star rating? At times, you get 15-20 or 30% off of sales price and on top of that, they will give you a $10 per $50 spent Kohl's cash. Also, can return anything with a valid receipt. Try this at a famous local electronic store that gives you 15 days to return and a serious attitude to go with it. Sure, I have come of out Kohl's upset at times after talking with the sales associate or local manager but they still Rock.

This company is very determined to make a sale, which, once finalized, is a done deal for them. When I placed my order, I did not see clearly, or at least did not appreciate, the confirmation of my shipping address or even the option to ship to store. Nevertheless, they processed the package to ship to my old address. Called their "customer service" number, which, like all customer service toll free services, is a dumb corporate robot which you have to basically hack to get a human.

Then when the human finally answers, of course, in typical fashion, it is not obviously based in the US. My bet it is somewhere in the Philippines. Accent very strong and some of them speak very unclearly. Reception worse than North Korea's, so expect static. Finally told they cannot change the order for any reason, including the shipping address. Took a long while to reason with them and then a "supervisor" came to the line, who promised to have this fixed by contacting the "suppliers".

Turns out this never happened, as 3 tracking numbers were already generated. Then called back, and told again that the previous person handled this badly, and that they will "cancel" the order, guarantee the same prices, and advised that I re-order! Of course did not trust this and played along. Later that night got an email then advising me to make contact with the people who live at old address! Finally called Fedex and UPS and begged to hold the packages. FedEx said they could ship to my new address, but behold they cannot now. Too much stress for this one change. Utterly useless customer service and really I'll be very careful about ordering from them. God only knows the quality of the item I'll get. Stay tuned.

Kohl's Placed order 11/17/16 for 192.52, order shipped to wrong state (former address) AFTER changes made to website and new billing and shipping. As of 11/21/16 and multiple hours over two days on the phone, we were discounted, told the items would ship immediately, hung up pleased, and within moments received an email that the order just placed had been canceled. Yep, canceled. As in, "sorry, we lied."

Due to their computer glitch we now have an additional three transactions for 196.58 from Kohl's pending on our debit card and no merchandise. As a result my spouse had to go buy more items from another store in order to comply with his new jobs dress code, leaving us well over $1000.00 poorer due to Kohl's errors and refusal to fix the issue. We have as yet been able to talk to anyone who can or will fix this error up to and including Kohl's executive VP and general counsel, and the assistant GC in legal. Both times we were sent straight to voice mail and have heard nothing.

We then tried to buy a few on-sale shirts using our Kohl's cash plus a little extra, and kablam, no problem. I had the "your order was successful" email WITH the correct shipping address within three minutes. This tells me that Eli, the manager who had stated unequivocally that he was discounting our order to $114 and overnighting it immediately was doing nothing more than getting us off the phone. We did get an email today saying that the original $192.** transaction was being refunded, but as of now, our credit union still shows right at $800 paying to Kohl's, and we have additionally had to go out and spend several hundred dollars in menswear so that my spouse can keep the part-time seasonal job that is our family's only income right now.

I will be updating this review daily with any progress, but have already spoken with three attorneys willing to work pro bono or on contingency in order to compensate for our lost time (my spouse was put through to so many people he had to call back today - we've been on the phone for over four hours in two days), for emotional stress (I have PTSD and don't do conflict well), for the additional funds he had to pay to meet his job's formal dress code, and for any other compensation the court deems just and fair. I get that suing over cheap suits is rather litigious, but apparently there doesn't seem to be another way to make Kohl's care about its customers.

One manager, Kiki, was so rude she hung up on my husband and he was not being abusive. Nobody would give us their first and last names. Thank goodness for legal networking sites or I wouldn't have been able to even get to corporate, much less the names of their executives (for all the good that's done). So, Kohl's, aside from Lili **, you now have to deal with us.

Repeated calls, horrendous "put on holds" and referrals to supervisors availed nothing. Finally was promised someone would call me within 24-48 hours. Time was up 4 days ago. There are numerous times when I've gotten things for just PENNIES after the coupons. Clearance section in their brick and mortar stores are also great too - you can find dresses for $5 or less, window curtains for $3 a pane, hats for $3. And on TOP of that, you can use your 30% discount. Where else can you find that? Great refund policy too - no questions asked, no date limitations. There was one time where I ordered a thermal carafe and it arrived with the glass lining shattered on the side. Called Kohl's to notify them and they asked me to dispose of it immediately and offered a full refund.

And although it was their fault, they said they could only give us another $20 coupon for an online order and that we would have to call first (again, spending even more of our own time) before placing the order so the credit could be applied. Absolutely ridiculous. Basically, they are making us spend more money to get the money we should have been owed in the first place. Do NOT order online from Kohl's. They are beyond terrible. Every time I order, I have received damaged merchandise, incorrect merchandise, or the merchandise is just missing. Yet, they charge me for all the items I ordered but didn't receive! Once I received broken dishes. They wanted me to re-order but told me I could not use the coupons that I had used with the original order. This should have been an even exchange. A Kohl's employee put dishes in a cardboard box with NO packing material whatsoever. Of course it would arrive broken. And then Kohl's wants me to pay MORE to have it replaced??? Currently, I have been shorted two items.

I call customer service to let them know. The man "puts in a request" for shipment of the missing items. I then get an e-mail from Kohl's, letting me know based on the tracking number my order has been delivered. It went on to say "check with your neighbor to see if they have the package or check with the post office". Further, the email states "We hope this helps you. If you need further assistance, call the phone number". My neighbors do not have my package! I emailed them a response. I then call the number and was told there was no one there at that number that could help me because an incident had already been started by Kohl's and I could only communicate by e-mail to resolve this problem. Kohl's was waiting on me to respond. Which I already had. I wanted the supervisor. Of course, he was busy. And the supervisor's supervisor was not at work today.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I am so disappointed with Kohl's. It's a chronic problem and they just don't know how to fix it. I have been a loyal customer. I have been an MVP shopper for years. I am done with Kohl's. In addition to this, the coupons now have so many restrictions it's difficult to figure out what the coupon is actually good for. Shame on you Kohl's for losing what was once good service. I will no longer shop Kohl's and would recommend to everyone that you do not order online. Nothing but a hassle.

I am a long standing Kohl's shopper. I have had two bad experiences with Kohl's online and do not plan to use that method of shopping again. 1. Earlier this year I ordered a set of bathroom accessories. The order came in minus one item. I was told it was out of stock. I, the customer was responsible for monitoring their site to see if and when the item came back in stock. It never did. 2. I ordered shoes using my Kohl's cash and a 30% coupon. One pair fit, two pair did not. I went to my local store expecting to be able to do an exchange. I was told that I could return the shoes but that I would need to use the kiosk to reorder and that they would not honor the previous price.

So on the phone I went to contact customer service. Initially I was told they would not honor the Kohl's cash nor would they do an exchange. I could return the order and they would refund. I would need to make a new purchase. After some negotiation I received agreement that they would honor the coupon and the Kohl's cash. In the next minute I was told the items were out of stock and once again, I would be responsible for monitoring when they came in stock and placing a new order. I am usually a calm person, however, I expressed my dissatisfaction in no uncertain terms. I cannot justify shopping with Kohl's online again. The frustration is not worth it. In fact it feels somewhat like a bait and switch. One seriously unhappy customer!

Kohl's states they have "HASSLE FREE" returns and refunds. I believe they should change that to "HASSLE ME" returns and refunds. I attempted to return a pair of Lee Jeans which I bought as a gift for my brother-in-law. I had his correct size so I didn't bother to keep the receipt. All of the tags including the price tag were still attached to the jeans. I wanted to exchange them for Levi Jeans since that's what my brother-in-law preferred. The tag showed the price was $48.00, but I expected to receive less since I didn't use a Kohl's Charge (Story for another day) but a Visa Card. Their return/refund policy in this case is "Non-Kohl's Charge purchases made outside of the 12-month time-frame: Receive Kohl's Merchandise Card or a Corporate-issued refund." The credit amount will be "A Kohl's-Credit based on the lowest 13-week sale price." That seems reasonable.

HOWEVER, when I went to the Kohl's store, the person working there walked over to another work station, did not type any data into the computer, looked at the screen for ten to fifteen seconds, came back over and said, "we can give you a store credit of $4.98." WHAT??? That's an 89.6% reduction in the tag price. I asked her if they ever sold Lee Jeans for $4.98, and she replied, "yes." I used to shop there quite a bit and even during a clearance, the lowest price I've seen on Lee Jeans was $24.00. I contacted Corporate Headquarter and spoke with a representative in the refund department. He wasn't able to come up with a refund of $4.98 based on a clearance price but said that I would have to accept what they offered. I gave the jeans to Goodwill. I now shop elsewhere and closed my Kohl's Credit Card!!!

So this is the third time that Kohl's has shipped me the wrong item. The right item # and tracking # on the receipt and the box, but the wrong item in the box. Their customer service is friendly enough, they say they want to help, but seriously... If they ship you the wrong item here are your choices: Find a store, take your time to take the package there, stand in customer service line (by the way never do that at the Schaumburg, IL store, they are terrible!) and then hope they have the right item. If they don't, good luck getting a refund because the receipt says it is the item you ordered but the box doesn't contain it, so they can't figure out how to return it.

If you don't want to take it to the store, you can wait 10 days for UPS to pick it up, and then wait until they receive it to get a refund, then call customer service and ask to reorder it at the original price. So what good is having good prices with this kind of service? I order about 80% of my items online, I have NEVER had this kind of issue with Amazon, Wayfair or Overstock. My advice: pay a little extra and order at Amazon, Wayfair or Overstock. ONLY buy at Kohl's if it is in the store.

Back in August, we made the minimum monthly payment of $25 as usual. At some point at the beginning of September, we thought we'd lost a wallet. We called in to request them to cancel the card and send a new one. Rep said there was a past due balance on the card. Come to find out, they had increased the payment to $27. Also found out that the address they had on file was wrong, so we corrected it. Rep waived the late fee, said everything was fine now and that my payments from that point would be $27. Went in in September and paid $30. Started getting calls that when we answered would just say "Please call Kohl's Card Services". We looked up the number we received the call from, and it said it was a fraud call used to get your info and steal your identity. We blocked the number, and that was that. Figured that if Kohl's wanted to contact us, a person would be on the phone to follow through if we answered, or they'd send a letter or an e-mail.

Finally, we called Kohl's after the calls didn't stop. They said that we failed to pay the full minimum due in September. We said "What are you talking about? The lady told us it was $27 and we paid $30." They continued to state that the Rep did not inform us about an increase because the minimum in August wasn't paid. I told her that we didn't know the payment had gone up, and that the Rep said everything was settled and to start paying the $27/month. At this point, I was apparently supposed to pay $37 in September because we missed the minimum by $2 in August. And when we only paid $30 in September, that increased our October minimum to $54.

The original Rep I spoke with told us it was settled and to start paying $27/month. Nothing about overcharges or anything else. LIE! Second rep confirmed my info and said I wouldn't have to reconfirm when he transferred me. LIE! Third rep told me that her supervisor could pull the original call and fix it if what I said was true about the original rep not informing us of the upcharge. LIE! Supervisor said there was nothing they could do about it and the only way to fix it was to pay the $54. ALL OF THIS OVER A $2 DISCREPANCY BECAUSE OF AN INCORRECT ADDRESS! You really think someone is going to miss out on $2 on purpose?! I could walk around the Kohl's parking lot and find $2 in change! My payment has double because Kohl's LIES to their customers!! When she talks to you she talks to you as if she's better than you. If you look at reviews under Facebook and yelp you will see the type of service you will receive at this Kohl's. I've always said good things about the store Manager Bill but he's apparently gone downhill and he's not doing his job. If I managed a store I would take the time to see what the public has to say about this store. I won't tell you that the other stores are much better. You have the lead supervisor in Lawrenceville who is always smoking cigarettes in the front of the store. The management at this store also has many problems. Kohl's needs to retrain all employees even management because they all have poor customer service skills.

Kohl's as a retail store has some of the worst customer service oriented employees I've ever met. Why work with the public if you can't smile and be friendly. Don't act like you like your job but show obvious actions you don't like what you do. But Karina needs to be fired. But as I stated it's most stores in Gwinnett county. They all have the same problems. But I will have to say one good thing about the Flowery Branch store. They keep their clothes racks in the most organized manner I have ever seen at any department store. They are not friendly but the store is always in excellent condition. But Kohl's needs to have and undercover person from corporate come in these stores and see what I'm talking about. See how employees like Karina at Hamilton Mill store treats her customers. Purchased items, size issue for my son, wrote a check. Was electronically processed next day, took items back for refund, I was refused my money back. Was forced to take store credit, I am livid over this. Even with my receipt I was refused the cash back they took from me. I told Manager I don't want 80.00 in store credit. I want my money back they took out of my bank acct. I was forced to take store credit. They are a bunch of crooks. Had I known this was going to happen would've put a stop payment on the check. For everyone that shops at Kohl's do not use debit/bankcard or check because if you need to return something they will not give you your money back. They will force you to take store credit. THEY ARE CROOKS... EVEN WITH A RECEIPT.

I have been a patron of Kohl's for 15 years now and the company is complete garbage now. First, they take away being able to use Kohl's cash after expiration, EVEN IF IT HAS ONLY BEEN A DAY! Second, they jack up the prices on everything and then mark it down "75%" and at the end when they ring you up it's always, "well today you managed to save $315!!" Yeah okay... so give me my Kohl's cash so I can see it's labeled for an inconvenient time frame and I'm out $50 that I could have used towards highly priced items. I wish I did not do my wedding registry with them because their prices are so obscene. I feel bad for my guests having to pay three times what it's worth.

Lastly, since I have gift cards from my wedding guests I was just on the app trying to find shoes and undergarments for my wedding, the app closed and I reopen it where it asks me to put my password in, says it's incorrect so I reset it. After resetting it tells me I'm locked out and to call customer service. Hello, THEY'RE CLOSED NOW so I'm SOL until the morning. Kohl's... you used to be great. What in the world happened to you?

Kohl's was the cause for my credit report to fall, and it was due to their dereliction in the area of electronic billing. I have been a Kohl's customer for years. They offered electronic billing and it seemed easy enough. I signed up. Getting on with the business of my life, I received my first electronic bill from Kohl's 2 months later. I looked it over and saw a late fee. They stopped sending a paper bill but I did not get the electronic bill until 2 months later. I called and they took the late fee off. I thought it was simply them not processing my info soon enough so I forgot about it.

That following spring, the same thing happened again. I hadn't noticed that they missed sending an electronic bill and another month went by. This time around, they had reported it and my credit score is down a few hundred points. I called them up and they seemed mystified as to why I wasn't receiving the electronic bill. They took off the late fee again, but the damage was done. The bill wasn't much and the damage is done. I'm pretty ticked. Anyone else have that problem?

I've been a Kohl's shopper since my early teenage years and have purchased many, many things from various Kohl's stores across the country. Today my husband and I went to a Kohl's store and I was browsing around at the housewares and home decor. I noticed that a LOT of the products are incredibly overpriced and then "marked down" with a sale. One item that caught my eye was a scent plug-in holder with a fall leaf on it. It was marked as $19.99 and then 50% off. $19.99 for a plastic holder when other stores sell similar ones for $9.99? Same with their K-Cups. $14.99 for an 18-count package and they are approximately $10.99-$11.99 at most other retailers.

But wait, Kohl's is offering a sale on them for $11.99 each or two packs for $20. While their prices (after the "sale", of course) are reasonable and compatible with other stores, their marketing ploys are horrible. They want customers to believe that they are getting a deal when, in reality, they are paying the same retail price that they would pay anywhere else. I think it's terrible that they mark up prices and then lower them to con people into buying their product over another retailer's. It's extremely tacky!

I was a huge fan of Kohl's before getting a credit card with them. I fell behind to make my payment, I received a letter from them stating they would match my payment. I quickly made my payment online. In one month there was no payment to match mine from Kohl's. I called them and what happens next really shouldn't surprise anyone as I already felt this was too good to be true. I was told "You did not read the notice all the way. You had to call to make the payment not go online." I stated "My bad. I really should of read the entire notice so nothing can be done, no." Called back spoke to someone else and the lady did help. She waived the late fees and said "Your next payment is due 10/16/2016." Great I thought something is better than nothing. 9/16/2016 I go online and double check that everything we talked about was done. Nope my due date is not 10/16/2016 it is 9/16/2016 and I spent every penny of mine that day to pay all my bills.

When I call I'm told "Well the rep was wrong." Ok well that doesn't help me. It's actually really going to cost me in a late fee I suppose. The rep was generous gave me till 9/21/2016 and said he will waive the late fee. 9/21/2016, today I went online and my available balance has dropped and there were no late fees or interest charges since I spoke to Kohl's. I call them and waste 5 minutes talking to a rep asking "Were there any new charges, 'cause there is nothing to see online." The rep finally says "You were charged a late fee." I'm annoyed after this being my 3rd call and I'm being diligent to handle my affairs. I ask for him to look at the account notes, he says "I can't waive a late fee. We already did that for you." I said "Collections did that for me as a courtesy for an offer I did not thoroughly read but Kohls still wanted to offer something to me."

This new late fee wasn't ever suppose to be charged and I made my payment as promised online while speaking to this rep and had to request a supervisor. Supervisor gets on the phone and will waive the late fee but then says my minimum payment isn't 27 like my bill says it's 33. Seriously no explanation on this small rate increase and then states in order to waive the late fee I have to set up an automatic payment for my next payment that wasn't late and I wasn't even billed for yet. It's not due till 10/16/2016. So of course I said "No I don't have to do that." Listen to all the calls you state are be recording and do what every rep promised me and that's that. We will see if everything gets done right, probably not! Horrible customer service, get it together!!

The toy worked properly for about 30 minutes before the accelerator button on the toy malfunctioned. I called Kohl's customer service, and I was told to disassemble the item and schedule a pickup or return it to my nearest Kohl's. I chose to return it to Kohl's due to the amount of time (likely 2 weeks or more) it would take to receive another toy.

I returned the item from Kohls expecting a discount on my order, but not only did I not get a discount, Kohl's took the Kohl's cash that I received for the order and subtracted it from my refund! So I'm inconvenienced to have to find my son another gift at the last minute and return this defective item 18 miles one way to Kohl's without any compensation or goodwill gesture for my trouble! Kohl's will not receive any more of my business and I've shredded my Kohl's charge card! Amazon and Wal-Mart.com have always treated me fairly in similar situations, so I'm going to stick with them!

I just want to voice my concern that a store such as Kohl's has literally NOTHING made in the USA as part of their product line, clothing or otherwise. I find this very disheartening. I have had MANY quality issues with the clothing they do sell which are made in every 3rd world part of the planet, obviously using near slave labor in order to keep the costs very low, which is reflected in the quality of the items. If nothing more, why not have a "MADE IN USA, support American workers" section of the store.

You can charge more of course, because it would be made by Americans that make more than 50 cents a day, but I for one would GLADLY spend the extra money for BETTER quality, and know that I'm helping to keep and maybe bring back jobs to the USA. It's easy for people to dismiss my comments or this notion, until they or someone in their family loses a job due to outsourcing to another country. I hope this comment does not fall on deaf ears, and perhaps more people can make this stand as well. I hope Kohl's will try to do the right thing and at least consider a suggestion like mine. Thank you.

Not only was she far from delicate, she completely broke 2 pins and damaged the steel links (permanently scratched 3 links), then continued to tell me "You don't need the pins anyway". Later that evening, I also noticed a small dent on the watch case and scratch on the crown. I went to another jewelers the next day to have it looked at and there was nothing that could be done to fix the scratches and dents on the watch links, case, or crown. This is an expensive timepiece and I cannot believe the lack of care given to such a quality watch. I have purchased a lot of things from Kohl's, both clothing and jewelry, and I plan to not shop there for fine jewelry ever again. I would like something to be done to fix this issue.

Unfortunately, I was told that I would not be fully compensated for the mistake and that they would refund the shipping on the original boots, but the majority of the cost for the old boots and the entirety of the cost of the new boots would not be paid for.

I have shopped at Kohl's for a long time, and it's a tradition I sense is coming to an end. Beware of this company's practice of reporting false information to the credit companies. I ran a credit report as I am getting ready to buy a home. I found that in 2014 they reported me 30 days late and then 60 days late on my payments. I keep all records and I had not even charged anything during this time prior. My account was paid in full 3 months before this showed up. I pay in full every month that I charge to avoid interest. I called customer service. They took all my information and said they would pass it on to the credit department. WHAT? They would not let me talk to anyone in that department saying I would get a call after it was investigated.

I called a week later asking when I would hear something. I was told that it would be a month or longer. I called in another week and was told the same thing. I again gave them all the information that I had and said I would email them the documents proving I had no late payments. Still nothing. I began asking around and many people have had this exact same problem. My daughter said they ended up going through the Attorney General's office to get their mess cleared. That is my next step. I would think this company is setting themselves up for a huge lawsuit when their error prevents a person from being able to buy a home at the normal interest rate. Shame on Kohl's.

I ordered a bunch of school clothes through Kohls.com for my child. I entered my new and current address into the website and set this address as my primary address. Then I placed the order. Well Kohl's sent my packages to an old home address. I called Kohl's and told them that they sent they are sending the packages to the wrong address and they told me that since the fedex, ups, and usps already has the packages that there was nothing they can do. They actually told me to contact the shipping companies and try and get the addresses changed to the new address. I told them that they should be doing that and not me, because this was their own computer systems fault and not mine. They said that they cannot do that for me, that I have to do it.

Finally I asked for a supervisor and he told me the same thing. I told him that I was not going to do it and he finally said that he would try and contact them and change the address. Well after about 15 minutes waiting on the phone he gets back on and says that they cannot stop the delivery or change the address. So I tell him to just cancel the order so I can go buy new clothes somewhere else. He says he can't do that either until all the packages have been delivered. He said that if I want to wait for a couple days he can open a ticket to send ups and fedex back out to retrieve the packages and then once they are back at Kohl's they will reissue my money. Or I could try and contact the home owners of the address they delivered too and try and get them to send the packages to me... REALLY! Now I have to drive across four cities to retrieve my own packages???

So after going back and forth with this so-called supervisor I told him I wanted to talk with his supervisor and he tells me that his supervisor does not take calls. So I ask him for that supervisor's name and again he tells me that I cannot have the name or ID# and he does not take calls. So I ask for Corporate's number and he tells me that he does not have that number and if he did he could not give it out.

So I am really upset now because I have no clothes and they will not refund me the money until they get the items back. So now I have to hope that the home owners there are willing to give the clothes back so I can get my money back. I tell the so-called supervisors that this is joke, that Kohl's is a JOKE and that he is a worthless JOKE of a supervisor. I tell him that I will be calling Corporate and speaking with them, he says sorry again and "Do you have any more questions"?? So I hang up the phone!

I call corporate and they send me to Kohls.com CS. I speak with this lady and she tells me that there is nothing she can do at this time until all the items are sent back to Kohl's. She tells me that once they are that I can order more stuff with the correct address. I tell her that I will never order from Kohls.com again because of this big screw up and that I am getting no customer service. She tells me "Sorry to hear that" and "Is there any other questions I can assist you with at this time"??? WOW. KOHLS.COM is never getting my business again!!!

Needless to say I was there long enough to know not only was I NOT returning as a result of being rejected. I don't do business with stores that don't want my money so. NUFF SAID! On August 5, 2016 I ordered 4 ceramic/stone seahorse candle holders and a Ravens sofa protector. A big box arrived on August 11 with only the 4 (3 were badly broken, 1 was somewhat broken) candle holders. I called their customer service. After a number of probing questions and verifying my info, the rep asked if I could return them to the store. I asked if they could pick them back up as I ordered online since the store is a distance away and traffic is heavy during the week. She said I should keep them and reorder when they come back in stock. I told her they were on summer clearance. She told me she was sure they would be back in stock soon, just keep checking.

The rep asked if I received the sofa protector and I told her I did not but tracking info said it was in a separate package moving through the FedEx postal service. She said "do not worry, it will be there next week". That Sunday I drove to the Kohl's store (less busy traffic day) to return and hopefully exchange if they had any there. The clerk told me they had been on clearance and would not be getting them again! The sofa protector tracking info said on August 15 delivery was made at 1:24pm to addressee in Port Orange Florida. I live in Leland, North Carolina. Tracking info showed the package left Pennsylvania and went to Hagerstown, Maryland and then to West Virginia and then to Georgia and finally to Port Orange, Florida (wherever that is).

I called Kohls.com customer service again about never receiving the sofa protector and the rep told me to ask neighbors and call the local post office. She said she would open a case and they would email me the results. She verified my address and said they did ship it to my address in Leland, North Carolina. I contacted local post office, laughed when I gave them the tracking number as they could read all of the states and places the package went to but never North Carolina. I received an email from Kohls.com that contained the tracking number and told me it had been delivered August 15 at 1:24pm so I needed to look for it in my neighborhood or at the post office. Have a nice day! (with the great explanation mark).

Guess they felt they had charged me and it was delivered. Although not even close to my state so they got their money and who cares if I did not receive my merchandise I paid for. I immediately called and waited almost 40 minutes on hold until I spoke to a young man who saw that the delivery was made August 15 at 1:24pm but many miles away. He told me FedEx had messed up and they would reopen (?) the case. Really surprised it had been closed. He said they would try to get the item back and send on to me or have me rebuy it and they would provide the same discount I used and free shipping this time.

Well I had free shipping and a 30% discount originally and I told him I had been charged for this and you can see I never received it as I do not live in Florida. He said they had the right address for me in Leland, North Carolina and the first email rep should have never closed the case and emailed for me to look for it myself but they now had to try to find the item and get it to me if they could but in the meantime I wait for an answer. I asked him to request someone call me but he said they always investigate and email their decision. Well I told him I am very disappointed in Kohl's as I am being charged for a $45 item that is in Florida through their shipping error. I think it would only be fair to credit back my money as I do not want that sofa protector that traveled 5 states in 11 days and in someone else's home. Will they return it, and who wants it after all that.

To me this company is very disorganized and not concerned at all when they make mistakes. The email rep put the tracking number, the date and time it said it was delivered and did not notice I live in North Carolina and it was delivered somewhere in Port Orange, Florida (wherever that is) so she tells me to ask neighbors and call the post office and look for it! AMAZING RESPONSE. Most importantly the charge is on my card and there is no one else I can talk to as they only have phone customer people who email the decision makers who email their opinions.

First package was not properly secured with fragile items inside. The box had a lot of empty space so the candle holders certainly moved about and hit each other. No one cared to properly pack them. Second package ends up many states away. WOW!!!!! Pathetic company to order online from them. I would like an explanation and deserve an apology! Not to mention credit back for these items!!!

Let me begin by saying that I totally understand that when you use Kohl's cash or a Special Offer Coupon, your return amount will be less than the sale price. However, on the receipt, it clearly states the item price, sale price, the amount of Kohl's cash applied to THAT ITEM, and the amount of the the special $10 coupon that was applied to that item. It then lists "RETURN AMOUNT". Here's my example... Item price $26.00, Sale price $17.99, Special Offer $10 - $0.41, Kohl's Cash $20 - $0.83. Return Amount $17.58. (This already doesn't make sense since the return amount seems to be $16.75 when you do the math. However, that is what is stated on the receipt.)

When I returned my items today, the cashier then deducted the entire $10.00 special offer coupon. When I argued that a portion of the $10 was distributed among the $400 worth of items I had previously bought, she told me that "was corporate's policy". This is the second time that I had this happen. The first time, I wrote it off to an error. Even if you do the math, the return price at the very least should have been $16.75 each.

I'm so annoyed and feel totally ripped off! How can the receipt state one thing and then when you return it, they do something completely different? Keep your coupons. Keep your Kohl's Cash. Keep your inventory. Not going back! PS - I gave one star only because I had to. I would have preferred to rate it as a ZERO. On to every other site I can complain on.

In Spring, 2015 I purchased items (table linens) valued at just over $20 at the Kohl's within 10 miles of my home in North Carolina using my Kohl's charge card. In previous years I had received a paper bill from Kohl's, which was mailed to my home address, and I paid the bill within 30 days. In Spring, 2016, I was checking my credit report and unexpectedly found a negative account from Kohl's listed on my credit report and that I owed Kohl's in excess of $200 in late fees and interest charges. I called Kohl's immediately to find out why. I was told by their representative that my address in their system was an address in Colorado.

I was also informed that the bill for this Spring, 2015 charge had been sent to the address in Colorado and the bills were never returned for correct address to Kohl's, therefore I was responsible to pay for these fees & interest charges. I never received a bill for this charge at my home address where I have owned my home for over 2 decades.

I have never lived in Colorado, have never authorized ANY company to change my address from my home address in NC, and have never authorized anyone else to change my address in the past 2 decades. I do not know anyone at the Colorado address where the Kohl's bills were sent nor would I expect residents at that address to know me. I have only shopped at the NC Kohl's Department store and used my Kohl's charge card there. Last month I paid the amount I owed to Kohl's over the phone (I have not yet received the Kohl's bill at my home address).

I have requested numerous investigative cases at Kohl's requesting them to correct these erroneous fees and charges and have been told continuously that their records are accurate and that I owe them the late fees and interest charges. It is not correct business practice to charge late fees and interest in excess of $200.00 for this purchase when Kohl's did not send the bill to the proper address. In addition to the excessive late fees and interest charges, my excellent credit history has been negatively affected.

Thought well I must have gain weight. Then my cousin posted a picture on Facebook. She was at Kohl's trying on clothes complaining that she usually wears a medium in juniors and was having trouble fitting into an XL in the women's section. I don't know what is going on with your sizes but it is making women feel disappointed in themselves! How I can continue shopping there if every time I go there I feel ashamed of myself. Where as I can go to Macy's and wear my normal size. I hope you take this comment into consideration. I honestly have not shopped in Kohl's for about a year because of the way of the clothes fit. Please change.

This rep tell me to they need to process my information and he asked me to call back in 2 weeks. 3 weeks later I called Kohl's rebate center on the phone with a rep who I have to tell the whole story to again. And again they apologize, this time she told me my form can't be found??? I told her I have prove that I already mailed the form and receipt and ups... and I also made a copies for myself. She asked to Fax it in, I call back to see if they got my fax information and some new rep told me it would take 2 weeks to process.

2 weeks go by... 3 weeks. I go through the whole story again with another new rep and she told me no fax was found. I gave she the fax number and she said "the is the correct number!" So now she asked me to email it over and call back in 2wks. :( 2 weeks go by... 3 weeks... and yes 4 weeks. I called back, after retelling the story for what feels like the millionth time to the rep and this time he told me the promotion is over!!! And ask to speak to a manager - I retelling the story to the manager again, he tells me he will make sure it gets taken care.

Yes, finally I got my rebate (after 5 months) but not full amount. I called back and told the rep my whole story again. :( He said he will put in a request. Nothing happen!!! Call back today and explain to Justin what happen. He told me he will transfer me to his supervisor, I was put on hold for more than 30 mins. I hang up. My kids have Taekwondo to go. I called Kohl's from my bank in March and asked for a payoff, they provided one. I paid the amount and thought nothing more about my account. I then received an email stating I had some rewards, I didn't want them, at the same time I got a call from Kohl's, but once again didn't want rewards. A representative called me again, and me irritated called them back. It wasn't about the rewards, but a past due that wasn't paid. I was shocked but paid it. I applied for a loan to learn that Kohl's, a company I had been with for several years, paid thousands to had reported me delinquent and took my hard earned credit score from 725 to 655.

I asked the bank what the reason for such a high interest and their only statement was the delinquency from Kohl's. WHAT!?! After one month, only one card. When I called Kohl's to help reverse their poor reporting they said NO, I had a delinquency and it was my debt no matter the circumstance. I will NEVER shop there again and I will make sure to tell everyone that they have options! Thanks.

One was chosen for my step daughter but because they were so awesome we bought all three dresses. There are few department stores that are always as en pointe as this one. Bravese ladies.

I saved all the reference numbers and copied the conversations (which I highly recommend you do to show credibility), but it's just the waste and loss of time. I am so unhappy with the store. Today is June 27. I supposed to pay the 22 of every month. Yesterday was Sunday and I was thinking to go pay the store today Monday, but what a surprise that the store charged me the full $25.00 late fees for less than a day difference because when I call the store was like 8.00 am. I am not agree that the store do not give 5 days after the due date grace period and they include the weekends like were business days? Verizon that is a very good company only charges $5.00 late fees and this store of ghetto charge $25.00??? What a joke. I going to cancel my car and never go back there. It's not the only store in the world.

Even worse, they said they record the conversations and when I was talking with someone at 8.00 am today June 27, he said I will charge me only for this time if I pay today only $10.00 late fees, but I hung up the phone by accident and I call again and what a surprise that the guy in the morning send me to collections and the lady in Texas Lissa told me that is nothing in the system about the $10.00 late fees instead of the $25.00. I ask Lissa review the conversation in the morning with the employee and she said is nothing and she charge me today the full $25.00 late fees. That is so unfair. I always pay 3 times the minimum amount and today they did not have any compassion. According with my way of thinking I am still in the 5 days because yesterday was Sunday. I really hate the store. I never want to put a feet over there in any of the branches.

Opening a Kohl's credit card was the biggest mistake I've ever made. I use my Chase account to make payments on the card and for whatever reason, Kohl's isn't receiving these payments. The money is being deducted from my account and I have no idea where it's going. I started receiving calls early last week saying that my account is overdue for a payment. I had no idea how this was possible because I haven't used it for several months. I had no idea the payments I was making weren't being processed through Kohl's.

I called the customer service number and talked to several different people within the last week and I still haven't gotten it resolved. They wanted me to show them proof of payment by faxing in my bank statement (which I feel is a violation of my privacy) and when asked if I can email it, they told me no. It's a total inconvenience for me to fax this over to them since I don't own a fax machine.

Even after I spoke to someone and explained the situation, the customer service rep told me that she put a note that my account is under investigation and that I will stop receiving phone calls and emails. Guess what? I STILL receive phone calls/emails from debt collectors even though I'm trying to get this resolved. I've already made ANOTHER call to them and they told me it should take 24-48 hours for them to receive confirmation. I am one step away from calling my bank and reporting them as fraudulent because I've made my payment and I have proof. The worst customer service I've had the displeasure of dealing with and an even worse experience with this card. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. I will NEVER shop here again and I've already discouraged all my friends and family from opening a Kohl's card.

I had moved years ago had been receiving statements at new home, but when I placed order my old address was still showing, so I changed it and click the order to go through. The order was still going to go to the old address. Kohl's was closed. I called back first thing in the morning. Customer service said it was too late to cancel order or change the address even though it was in the fulfillment center. I continue to try. One customer service rep said he would send down my address, but needless to say it went to old address in Ca and I was in Wa.

To make matters worse not one package but three different packages were shipped. Talk about incompetence in this day and age of computers to continue to send packages out and now have my correct address is crazy. Then tell me I still have to pay for an order I never got. You bet I will NEVER shop at Kohl's again. PS, and UPS would do nothing either.

I bought a pair of boots on Kohls.com. They were $265.00. I used a 30% off coupon and Kohl's Cash and my grand total was $196.63, put on my Kohl's charge. Boots ended up having a defect, according to the manufacturer who I contacted first because I already know Kohl's return/exchange process is anything but hassle-free. So I contact customer service via the online chat, they told me if I return them at the store and call their 800# to reorder them, referencing our chat session. They would make sure I had all my discounts applied so it would be like an even exchange.

I go to the store and they will only refund me $164.37. Apparently, when you use Kohl's cash and need to return something, you pay out of pocket for an item you don't have. So about $30 difference I'm paying for something I don't have. Then when I reorder, they will only give me the 30% off the $265.00 price tag, then I will earn Kohl's cash for that purchase.

So here is how I see it. I paid $196.63, was refunded $164.37. Right there I am paying $32.26 for a defective item I don't even have. Then they want to charge me $203 for a replacement pair. So I'm paying $235.26 for a pair of boots I would never have even bought had I not had Kohl's cash. I absolutely refuse to shop at their store ever again. I am cancelling my Kohl's charge and letting them know exactly where they can put their Kohl's Cash. Most horrible, misleading "reward" program I have ever dealt with in my whole life.

She checked online and confirmed that my request/concern was correct. She even facilitated me speaking with a representative on the CS department phone. Again, I was told that my request was correct and that if I reorder the same SKU, that I "should" get the correct product. I raised concern in the word "should". "Go ahead and order" I was told. I was refunded my Money at the store but didn't realize it was only the product cost excluding shipping (- $9+).

I reordered the cleats and at that time, entered numerous notes specifying the color. On my confirmation email, I also asked about the color. The response was "We (Kohl's) cannot guarantee the exact color." When I showed surprise/disdain, I was told that CS doesn't control what the Distributor pulls from stock!!??? New cleats arrive and color is... wrong. Meantime my bill came in, and I noticed the shipping costs still on there. I again returned to the local store. Much less concern shown on second return and when I inquired about shipping costs, I was told these are shipping costs out with Kohl's control. At this juncture, I would not and will not recommend Kohls.com to anyone, and if Kohl's needs my $18+, they can have it. Dissatisfied!!!

I spent several hours on 6/4/16 trying on many items of clothing in my local Kohl's in Commack, NY. When I went to the cashier with my coupons, I realized the coupons did not take effect until Tuesday 6/7. The cashier told me he could HOLD the items for pick-up on Tuesday. I saw him put the clothes in a clear plastic bag and take them back to the Customer Service desk in the back of the store. I went back to the store Tuesday morning and I was appalled by the total disorganization at the Customer Service desk. There were piles of clear plastic bags of clothing, some with names, some without, in no particular order. The young woman at the desk took 10 minutes moving all the bags around while the line got longer and longer. Needless to say, she didn't find my bag. She kept asking what I bought and what color the items were. She said items were only held for 24 hours! I asked her to call a manager.

The manager looked in "the back" where other bags were apparently stored. (The Customer Service Desk wasn't aware of this.) After a few minutes (and after mangling my name numerous times), the Manager told me he couldn't find my clothing. I told him I had now wasted 3 hours and had no clothes. The best he could do was give me a $10 store credit and have an Associate "recreate" the purchase. This is ridiculous - I had tried on many items and didn't remember the brand or styles I eventually chose. Plus many of the items were the only one of its kind in the store. The Manager asked me the name of the cashier. How many shoppers actually remember the name of the cashier? He then said he knew who had served me because he had had trouble with him before. I called Kohl's and registered a complaint. I wonder how long it will take to hear back. I think the store should give me a $50 store gift card. I'd still rather just have the clothes.

The next day, I get an email stating that they show the "package" delivering on 5/13 and I need to call my post office to put a claim through. GRRR. So, I respond back and repeat my story again about missing two items in my shipment. I am told that I will be refunded the items that didn't ship, less $10 because without those purchases, I dropped below the $50 that earned me the Kohl's cash. I already used the $20 Kohl's cash, but now they are going to reduce my $20 refund by $10, so I am basically out $10 because of their shipping error. Not to mention that when I went back to spend my $20 in Kohl's cash, I actually spent over that amount.

In addition, if you order online, you can return for a refund, not an exchange. Plus, if you go to the store to make an exchange, the item you select for the exchange must be for the exact same amount as the item you are exchanging or they will need to refund which will result in loss of Kohl's cash (if applicable). I dealt with this when they didn't have the item to replace the one that was shipped incorrectly. I can't make this up folks! Kohl's is a large company, but they are way behind the market with their online purchasing capabilities and customer service. This lady will not be shopping online with Kohl's any time soon!

My husband purchased me a new wedding ring by Cherish Always I saw at Kohl's and fell in love with back in 2010. In February 2012 a couple of the diamonds fell out. I had previously been advised that Cherish Always stands behind their jewelry and their guarantee/warranty and if you have the item repaired elsewhere it voids the warranty. Since there are no Cherish Always repair offices I went back to Kohl's. They felt awful about the ring and immediately advised that they would send the ring back for repair. They took the ring, gave me a receipt and it wasn't long before a box came to me by UPS from Kohl's. Cherish Always was unable to repair the ring they said. So they sent me a brand new one, same style of course. They assured me that as long as they carried that style the ring would just be replaced if anything happened. The ring had even gone on sale again and they refunded me the difference as well.

Well, now 4 years later I have a missing diamond. So I head off to Kohl's with all my receipts, everything including the missing diamond and the box they shipped the ring to me in back in 2012. I went to the jewelry counter and after waiting 20 minutes while the 2 girls there assisted the same customer, one girl walked over to another customer who just walked up to assist her. That customer told her I was there first and so she then came to me. Now they tell me their return policy has changed; however they still advertise on their website "Hassle Free Returns." She then called her supposed "manager" over who said they could no longer send the ring off as they don't have a repair place. I said I know Kohl's doesn't, it needs to go to Cherish Always. She said they can no longer do that and also advised me that the missing stone I had was not even a diamond.

Wait. You are selling a product that you can't stand behind? Cherish Always only distributes through retailers as they don't have shops of their own. I then went to "Customer Service" as they call it but should be called "we really don't care about our customers department" and asked for a manager and explained everything to her or tried. As I was speaking to her she was talking to another customer who was on the Kohl's phone with customer support and then the manager just walked away and took the phone from the other lady customer and assisted her on the phone then came back to me as if she had not just walked away from me. She said there was nothing they could do for me except if I wanted I could return my ring and repurchase it. Sure at more than twice the amount my husband originally purchased it for. The so called manager said "let me get your name and number and I will ask some questions and get back to you."

I left the information with her and as I was leaving the store there she was in the center aisle with the so called jewelry manager and my piece of paper with my information. That was May 7, 2016 and I haven't heard a word from anyone. I am currently trying to find a number for Kohl's Corporate Headquarters or at least an email address as I wouldn't give them a 1 star rating if I didn't have to. No wonder they are closing some of their stores. Maybe they just need to retrain their staff on what true Customer Service really means and then stand behind their advertising and promises.

My husband buys me a white gold ring worth $225.00 bucks. I take it back to the store to get it sized as I was told I could do by the jewelry sales rep. I get a call today 5/14/2016 letting me know Kohl's has changed their store policy. Now we only pay for yellow gold rings to be fitted but you can take it to any jewelry store and pay them to have it sized. I was actually told this today by phone.

Being disabled and a senior then I buy me a Citizen watch worth $250.00 and twice now I have had to bring it back because the pin has come out twice and the watch has fallen off of my arm. I have had it since 5/9/2016 and today is 5/14/16 and it's broke twice since I bought it. Done with Kohl's. Take my money give me junk. I can't believe they will not pay for a ring size when I was promised. Was told to go pay for another jewelry store to service it (HOW SAD). Promised by Kohl's to be let down. It's true this store amazes me. If you call on phone to pay the charge account the store charges another $10.00 dollars. I use to love Kohl's. NOT ANY MORE. Thanks for nothing.

I purchased shoes from Kohl's and used my 30% off coupon, along w/ my free $5 reward (which I earned through their rewards program). In my opinion, the shoes should be 30% off THEN apply the $5 reward. I earned that $5 by spending a lot of money at Kohl's, and should be able to use that money along with any sales they're running including a 30% off sale. Instead Kohl's likes to charge its customers more! So instead of giving me 30% off, they deducted my savings to half of what the 30% off should've been (since I was also using my $5 reward) which is completely shady!!! They're not actually rewarding me, and half my $5 reward went to cover the amount that the 30% should've taken off!

Their coupons and policies are so misleading. I refuse to shop there any longer. They've also told my husband and I back in January when we used Kohl's Cash and Gift cards (the gift cards were a Xmas gift), that we couldn't use both! When I called customer service their answer was "It's up to individual stores to decide their onsite policy." Oh so no corporate policy on this so stores rip you off whenever. Horrible customer service.

Wish I had known about this site earlier to read the reviews for Kohl's. Would have saved me a lot of grief and headaches. Purchased a bedding ensemble for a gift on 5/2/16 and paid with personal check which cleared my bank the next day 5/3/16 and money was deducted from my account. Went back to Kohl's in Hickory, NC on 5/6/16 to return for a refund since the recipient did not like the colors. C/S would not give me a cash refund, said I had to wait 7 to 10 days before returning. I took it back again on 5/12/16 and they still would not give me a refund. They said they could ask for a corp. check which would take a week to 10 days to receive. I told them I could not wait that long, that I needed the cash now to purchase another gift.

Nowhere on the receipt or their website does it say there is a 7 to 10 day wait. The receipt says "Hassle-Free Returns" return any item, anytime, for any reason. I was told to come back tomorrow to see if their computer would show a cash refund available. So far I have made 2 trips (total of 50 miles round trips) and now I have to make a third trip (25 miles) to make a return that should not have taken 10 minutes to complete the first time. This cannot even be classified as "customer service" as they give no service. When and if I get this settled, they won't have to worry about seeing me in their store ever again. I have never had such an awful experience trying to make a return at any other store.

I happened to still have my order confirmation open on my computer, so I was able to send Kohl's a screenshot showing that I listed both my billing and shipping address as my current TX address & that it was meant to ship in my name, not my fiance's. They are refusing to reship & are fighting me on a refund. I'm not sure how you can more clearly point out that it was an error on their end than to have photo evidence, but apparently that is not clear enough for them. I highly recommend ordering with anyone else. This has been such a waste of time dealing with their company & still after a week of contacting them have I no resolution. Don't waste your time!

Upon calling Kohl's credit I got verification of this issue but was told they cannot research my file more than 6 months back. They had cancelled my credit card and made a bad reference to my credit. I checked around my apartment area and the leasing office where I addressed it. I contacted Kohls.com on 4/16/2016 and they said to go to the post office and they had it there waiting for me. I went and it wasn't there. I am upset because they lied to me and I went on a wild goose chase for my package which is not my responsibility. I pay for products and its delivery which I did not get.

I called Kohls.com while at the post office for my refund. They said someone would follow up to process the refund because they could not since they were just an answering service and they never did. I called Monday 4/18/2016, they said the refund was processed and to wait 5-7 days. On 4/23/2016 I noticed a refund online with my credit card company but it was only a partial refund. I called again today, 4/25/2016, it was revealed that they refunded the wrong order that's why it was for less than what I was supposed to get, they claim they wanted my refund to be processed right away and they transferred me to the "office of the president" (yeah right) and dumped me into a voicemail which I thought was so disrespectful!!!

I call back again, the agent realized that this order is beyond screwed up, so he said he was going to get his supervisor and I said "please do!" The supervisor gets on and says that they gave me a refund for the incorrect order so he needed to process the refund again, gave me the amount being refunded, and a new confirmation number and to wait 5-7 days again. I do not have confidence that I will get a refund, that's why I am writing this. I don't appreciate their lies and their stall tactics. I have been completely inconvenienced. I am pretty sure I will have to call back in a week.

She kept loudly speaking to this young girl in a manner that was unprofessional and should not have been done in front of customers. What kind of people does Kohl's hire. I could not believe this was happening in front of customers. The store manager who a customer rep said named 'Brian **' was not in. No floor manager should reprimand a cashier in front of customers at the register; you take them aside in an office. And her conduct was appalling!! Sorry for the wall of text that is about to be spill across your screen, but my story is a tale of woe and should be told in its entirety. It all started out when I went to Kohl's on a rainy November night in 2015. I was looking to purchase a new KitchenAid mixer and take advantage of the Kohl's Cash offer they had going on. I went to the store and was successful in this endeavor, but this is where the happy story ends and the terror begins. I come home, with product and Kohl's Cash in hand and immediately hop on their website to figure out what I want to spend this $105 on. My wife and I look at some new bedding and decide on a nice set. So when the Kohl's Cash became available to use a week later, I ordered the bedding set and waited for it to arrive.

A package showed up a few weeks later and it was getting close to Christmas so we put it under the tree and figured we'd open it Christmas morning. When Christmas morning arrives and we open it, we find the most hideous pink and black striped comforter set that we have ever seen. I look at the packing slip that was inside the package and it has someone's name from New York (keep in mind I am in Washington State) and the description of the product was Jungle Queen - Queen Size. What we ordered was a Midnight Wolf - King Size. They couldn't have got it much more wrong... Wrong state, wrong person, wrong style, wrong size.

So the next morning I call the online reps and explain what has happened, and they instruct me to take it to the Kohl's closest to me and they will take care of the problem. It turns out this was a lie just to get me off the phone. The Kohl's rep in the store said they have no way of pulling up online information and that they couldn't process the return because what I was returning wasn't what I ordered... But they tell me they will process the return for the person in New York. At this point they put me on the phone with the Kohls.com reps again and the reps say they are sorry and that they will mail out a gift card for the full amount of the Kohl's Cash I used plus the out of pocket expense plus the discount amount.

I wait 2 weeks... 3 weeks... 4 weeks... Nothing from Kohls.com in the mail. So I call them back, and tell the story to the new rep, this rep tell me to take down a number (their ticket number) to go to the store, and the rep there will help. So I go back to the store, and tell the rep there what I was told and the rep gets a look on her face that says "Oh no, not this again" and explains that they have no way of pulling up the ticket, that the online store and physical stores are basically 2 different companies under the Kohl's name. She puts me back on the phone with a rep who I have to tell the whole story to again. And again they apologize and say they will get the refund sent out immediately.

2 weeks go by... 3 weeks... 4 weeks... I hop on to their website and have a chat session with "Steve". I go through the whole story again, and Steve assures me he will get it resolved. In the end he again instructs me to go to the store and that they will finally be able to assist me. So like a fool, I go back to the store and again am told that they cannot help and put me on the phone with another rep who I tell the story to again. I am told I will get the full refund plus free rushed shipping and 30% off my next order for all the inconvenience.

2 weeks go by... 3 weeks... NO! I am not waiting 4 weeks. I call and ask to speak to a manager. After retelling the story for what feels like the millionth time, she tells me she will make sure it gets taken care of but that I need to go to the store so they can issue the credit. I start to argue that I wasn't going to go to the store AGAIN, but she said that when I get there to have the rep call them and they will walk the rep through how to do the refund. So I trudge out to the store, and the rep there begins to say the same thing about how they can't handle the online issues, but I explain what I was told so they call and talk to a rep. After some back and forth, I get put back on the line. I then give the phone back to the rep (who by the way was extremely nice) and she asks a bunch of questions to the phone rep.

I am told that I can either have the product shipped or get a Kohl's card with the amount on it. I tell them that ultimately I just want the product that I paid for back in November (this is now early March). They said they will ship the product and also refund all out of pocket costs, but in order to process they needed to take a payment of $20 some odd dollars, but that they would refund my card $50+ (the original out of pocket expense plus the $20 I was paying now). Come to present day, and my package arrives. I open it and lo and behold, it is what I ordered. I decide to check my account to see if they have refunded me the 50 odd dollars... Of course not... But that is a tale for another day (like when I get the money back).

It is unfair that when a consumer places an order online, Kohl's swipes your C/Card or Debit Card immediately and secures the funds immediately. But when you return an item to the store or otherwise, it takes over a week to see your refund back in your account. To me this is like stealing. Several other department stores have adopted the same policy and it is WRONG. You took the money from our accounts immediately regardless of whether Kohl's or others knew there was stock on hand constituting a back order. Why not return the same practice to the consumer who makes a legitimate return?

Kohl's utilizes an automatic transaction recall method. Home Depot and Lowe's makes the return instantly on your Credit or Debit Card. So what is Kohl's or Marshall's doing? Keeping customer's funds to float checks and payments to their vendors? I not only don't agree with keeping customer's money for an extended period of time; I don't agree with their greedy practices and unethical business practices for their own gain.

What I did mind is a note on my credit score which Miquisha or whatever her phone name is was not understanding. I did not want to argue but her demeanor was so uptight. I am so upset with this company especially since I always pay my card before I leave the store that day. Like come on... A stupid small balance store credit card why wouldn't I mind paying it? Oh yeah and I bet Kohl's phone services are noted/recorded when a customer contacts the call center like any other call center so I don't understand why she was giving me a hard time. I definitely called a few weeks earlier.

Last night went to Kohl's. Bought a $225.00 14 kt gold chain. Three tops. In my catalogue was a ten dollar coupon for $30.00 off junior apparel. Because one of my tops were not juniors, they would not let me use the coupon. I have combined clothing all women's and used a coupon from the catalogue like that several times. So I spend over $200.00 almost $300.00. REALLY won't take a ten dollar coupon. Amazing. Very dissatisfied.

Kohl's is a fake!! Kohl's advertises products for a certain discount. However, Kohl's overprices their products and then offer a discount which does nothing more than lowers the price to the original price of other retailers. Kohl's should be ashamed of themselves. Why would a consumer take their business to Kohl's. Kohl's feels that the average shopper is incompetent enough to figure out the strategy that Kohl's has put into operation.

My information seems to not get changed and I have to answer the same question over and over. So I will no longer order from them again. Oh and when I get off the phone with them I receive another email stating I can pick up my order. So why go through all this BS in the first place. When you have Kohl's cash don't bank on it. They still want you to put in your credit card information even though the Kohl's cash covers everything. CROOKS... I better not see any charges on my bank account or I will get a lawyer!!!

Had the receipt and credit card showed all my stuff in my wallet and this nasty women Karla would not let me have my purchase. This is in the back of the store and it is raining outside. She had to have a photo ID which I had left in my car. For 12 dollar purchase give me a break. I grabbed my receipt and went back to my car, found my Drivers license and came back inside and asked for a manager.

There was a lady at the front who went with me back to the back of the store. When we get there less than 10 minutes had passed and Karla had decided to accidentally Cancel my purchase to make sure I would not get what I had already paid for. This meant I had to pay for it again to get it from this fat mean lady. She did just about everything to make this the worst experience possible. She should have this complaint put in her file, so that the next time her boss can know what Karla is doing to customers back there. Can someone send this to corporate as well. What should have been quick and easy turned into a real mess and I hope someone has an accident back at her for the way she treats people.

Kohl's had a 20% off coupon that had expired the day before if I used my charge. Then they were giving 15% the day after our purchase. Every time I have shopped at Kohl's and used my charge, the sales associate would always give me some sort of discount for using my charge. This associate did nothing and couldn't have cared less that we were spending close to $200.00 when we clearly could not have shopped the day before or the day after due to arrangements and the funeral. I am disgusted with Kohl's. I will be paying off my charge and no longer shopping there. Kohl's, you just lost a loyal customer over a few percent off. You jack up your prices above what they should be anyway. So now you can keep your junk.

After 4 weeks, I still had no refund. When I called back again, I was told they didn't issue a check, but would mail me a Kohl's credit and it would take 3-4 weeks. This never arrived either. Every time I call for help, I'm told the credit was issued.

After 7 calls, I called again on March 3rd to tell them I still had not received my refund. I was told the money had been deposited into my account. When I told them it had not been, they told me to take my bank statement to the store and if a manager could verify that it was not placed into my account, they would immediately refund the money. The manager verified it and called Kohl's Online and got nowhere either. I used to love Kohl's, but after waiting for 2 1/2 months of talking to incompetent people and hours of stress trying to get help, I will never order from Kohl's again. My online order from Kohl's was a huge pain from beginning to end. First, when I tried to place my order, it was automatically cancelled because I have a different shipping and billing address. This has never been a problem for me on any other website. (Couldn't they at least put the order on hold rather than cancelling it if this is such a problem?) When I called customer service to try and resolve this problem, I was told that not only are my two addresses different, but my actual home address where I live is invalid because their system shows I don't live there.

So finally, I agreed to ship it to my parents' address (my billing address) and they connected me with something to help place my order again. Turns out in the less than 24 hours it had been since I placed my order, half my items were out of stock! After being repeatedly transferred to people (and I had to explain my story again to each of them), I was offered a 20% discount on my new order. However, I was told there was absolutely no way to do this online, so I had to do the whole thing on the phone. This was a painstakingly slow process, as I had to dictate all of my new order information to the sales rep, who was kind but very slow and somewhat hard of hearing. This whole phone process took about 2 hours.

About a week later, I got a call from Kohl's again asking me for my parents' names and phone number so that they could be contacted about receiving a delivery that day. I asked if the package could be delivered without a signature, and they told me no, it had to have a signature and they had to confirm the delivery time with my parents. I finally convinced them that I would call my parents myself. The package was delivered later that day without a signature - my parents were home all day and no one knocked on the door.

Finally, I received the package. I only liked one of the items, so I sent the rest back. Unlike every other online company I have ordered from, I had to pay my own return shipping. No free label was provided. The entire process was a huge hassle and extremely frustrating. I have ordered clothes from many other websites and never had any of these problems. I cannot discourage you strongly enough - DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE FOR ONLINE ORDERS!!

However, four days later I get a cancellation email with no reason as to why my order had been cancelled. I call Kohl's customer service and was told the item I purchased did not qualify for a promotion. I told them that I've ordered online before and if an item is excluded it will say it in my cart - for instance Nike products will automatically say "this item does not qualify". I was not made aware that my item did not qualify. I told them I placed item in my cart, applied discount code, received confirmation and because their system glitched that "I" as the customer have to reap the consequences, they went on to say they are held to pricing and can't override the system.

For those of us that own the business can say that would be up to Kohl's and the manufacturer to work out, not the customer losing out. Kohl's made be held to map pricing and can be dropped as a distributor for product bring below cost but Kohl's should have stood behind their mistake and made it right by honoring price and item I purchased not canceling order four days later. It wasn't cancelled an hour after order was placed. It wasn't cancelled 24-48 hours after order was placed. It was cancelled by KOHL'S four day after receiving confirmation. That is wrong and Kohl's should stand behind their mistake whether it was a human error or computer error.

I am sharing my experience with Kohls.com purchasing so others do not fall for the same thing. I placed three orders total on Kohl's website in second half of November 2015. Order 1 (~$18): Order online pick-up in store - placed for pajamas - two days later I received a letter stating the order is cancelled. No comments on why. I called the customer service - they said "item is not available". I checked their website and it still said the item is available. :)

Order 2 (~$12): Order online pick-up in store - placed for another pajamas that said available and verified by their customer service rep on phone - did not hear anything for about 3 days on when should I pick-up the order. I checked the order status online - it said "order cancelled". Called the customer service - I was told "item is not available" - same thing again, online the item was still stocked.

Order 3: (~$740): Ordered online on November 29, 2015 to ship home: order for two self balancing hoverboards and one pajama pant. Received Pajama pant on December 21, 2015. When packet was opened, it was curtain valance instead of pajama pants. Called the customer service and he refunded the money after few days.

Received hoverboard on December 9, 2015. It was only one hoverboard instead of two - the size was smaller than what was on the order (6.5 inch instead of 10 inch). I called the customer service on December 10, 2015 to ask when is the second one coming. The response was "both hoverboards are in the same packet". I told them it is not true because the packet is in front of me and it's one. Also, the packaging slip said shipping weight of ~22 pounds which was consistent to item description on their website and weight of one hoverboard. After about half hour argument, the lady agreed to check on this and get back to me. No response for few days.

I called back on December 14, 2015. The customer service responded they have made inquiry from their vendor who supplies/ships the product - it should take about 7-10 days to get response and have the item shipped or money refunded. Note that the item was bought for my children as a Christmas gift which they were really disappointed on not getting.

On December 26, 2015: I called again since it was over 10 days. The response was that they are still waiting to hear back from the vendor. Please call back after few days. At this time, I asked them to refund money since I placed an order with Kohls.com not with their vendors. I explained to them that their vendors is their problem not mine. After a long argument, the representative transfers me to another department to process refund - another 45 minutes of discussion and I was assured that the money will be refunded and deposited in my account within 24 hours.

After about 11 days, the money was still not credited my account (Kohl's charge). I called Kohl's credit card company explaining that I am waiting for the credit to my account for item that was never shipped to me so I should be allowed to not pay the monthly bill until my account is adjusted (only the $349.99) but Kohl's credit card company told me in clear words that if I don't pay full amount, I will be responsible for late payment/interest charges per my terms and conditions. It doesn't matter if I am waiting for Kohls.com to refund my money.

So on January 6, 2016: I called customer service again and received the same response that they are waiting to hear back from vendor. At this time, I was frustrated so I asked the agent to let me speak with their supervisor. After about half hour wait, the supervisor comes on and asks me to go through all details that I have to supply every time I call them. It takes good 2 - 3 minutes to verify your information. Then the supervisor sings the same story as their original customer service rep. I asked to be escalated to their next level supervisor - another 15 - 20 minutes wait - goes into their voice mail. I left the message to contact me back with phone number and email address. No response.

Later I called again - same exercise - this time I got the representative's name (Bee **) and also asked for Supervisor's name (Joshua **). Left message again. I asked the rep to also leave a note for the supervisor - no response for another few days. On January 15, 2016: called again - same story about waiting from the vendor. After a lot of arguments, I was told that this time the credit will appear in my account within 7 - 10 days.

No credit in my account, so I called on January 25, 2016: they are still waiting to hear from the vendor. This time I told them that I will file a complaint against Kohls.com - the customer service representative was Jennifer. She transferred me to her supervisor (Andrea). She told me that she is going to open a manual ticket to refund my money back (I already paid the Kohl's credit card by this point). I asked for confirmation of acceptance and processing of manual ticket - she told me that she has to wait for another department to process it. I offered to be on call for as long as it takes that day. She responded asking for my cell phone number with a promise to call me back in an hour or two with confirmation. When I said, I don't trust anymore, she said "Don't worry Mr. **, I will not go home today until I call you - this is my promise to you." I fell for it. Obviously, no call for few more days.

Called back on February 10, 2016: Representative: Rasheed (maybe my spelling is not correct). I was asked to call Corporate Refund Center at 1-800-837-0302. Called back on February 11, 2016: After providing all the details, I was referred back to another department for another 17 minutes wait on hold. Finally, Justin came on line and went through all my verification. He confirmed that my account will be credited for purchase price - Kohl's Cash. About $100 less than what I had paid about two and a half months ago.

Learned a lesson, never buying from Kohl's again. I will pay more at other store or leave without the item but no more Kohl's. I am writing this because overall, I spend about 15 hours to get my money back after two and a half months later. If my review helps anyone out there, I will consider my time writing this review is worth. Thanks.

I have made in-store purchases and have only paid those bills. I will not pay any late charges or added fees due to their incompetent online business. No more online orders from this customer! This follows an earlier disagreement with them because they would not accept a personal check from me for my purchases because I did not have a past history of paying large amounts by check. I brought my elderly mother to the Kohl's store in Brighton, CO to look for a bra. There were thousands of bras to choose from, but my mom was pretty particular about the kind she wanted. There were NO sales associates anywhere in the area to ask for help, so I began to search for several styles of bras for my mom to try on. Every time I went out of the dressing room to search for more bras and the correct fit --- there were NO SALESPERSONS to be found! I was very frustrated having to look through tons of bras to try and find a particular style. It also appeared that a lot of the bras were seemingly not in their proper places.

I realize that customers get frustrated trying to find the right bra, and when they can't find it -- they just throw the ones they've looked at in a disorderly fashion. But that's where the responsibility of the department store comes in -- to hire enough associates to cover the various departments and train them to know their merchandise. It seems to me that Kohl's would staff employees who are able to help customers with their needs. I was extremely irritated and tired of going out to the sales floor to try to find a certain type of bra for my mom. And needless to say, she was getting very tired of waiting for me to come back with several other styles to try on and possibly choose from. I feel that if I would have had a customer service representative who was knowledgeable in the undergarments, we would have been much happier --- and most likely would have purchased items in the store.

On another note: as my mom and I were leaving the store, after about an hour of trying on bras --- I walked by a "young" sales associate who was standing by her merchandise pricing "cart"... only to notice that she held a cellphone in her hand and appeared to be using it to "text-message". It's sad that my mom and I felt like we were not worth the time of any employee of that store to even be greeted with a simple "Hello!" Absolutely the worst case of customer service I've seen in quite awhile. Message to KOHL'S: You may have fairly good prices on some things, but it's sad to say that I've had better customer service shopping at "lower" price stores. I hope that my review is helpful to both store management AND shoppers alike.

I normally don't shop at Kohl's but I always see the cute clothes my friend finds there. I decided to make a online purchase. I ordered 2 pairs of denim leggings, a tunic and a blouse. 4 days after I submitted the order I got a email letting me know the blouse, my favorite item was out of stock. Why was it online and why did it take 4 days to let me know. I then started getting shipping confirmations. I went to the mailbox since the items weren't delivered to my door, I live in a condo. The items were all shipped separately and looked like they were thrown in the bottom of a plastic bag and sealed. I received everything except the tunic so I called FedEx, they told me it was delivered and to pretty much kick rocks! I then did a online chat with someone named Jeremy on Kohls.com and he said he would open a investigation and get back to me immediately.

I got a email the next morning saying it was delivered and gave me the tracking #. I was boiling by now! Who holds these people accountable? I then called customer service, sat on hold for 20 minutes to talk to a girl who then told me SHE had to open a investigation. I thought they already opened a investigation but I guess Jeremy did do as he promised. I then got the same line that it was delivered and to "look around my house" I explained, again that I live in a condo and I'm not going to knock on 300 people's doors.

With as big a company as Kohl's they should have issued me my refund no problem. Instead they put me through the ringer. Cost me hours I didn't have to waste for $40 dollars. This issue shouldn't have gone this far. And I am still waiting for my investigation to get my refund. I now have to go into a Kohl's store to return all the items I purchased online and waste more time. They should be ashamed of themselves for the horrible customer service and the headache they put people through for something that is a drop in the Kohl's bucket!

I ordered a set of Kitchen-Aid mixing bowls, they are a hard plastic kind of material. They arrived in a large plastic bag. When I picked the bag up off the porch, it made a terrible rattling sound. I was reminded only then of a previous Kohl's experience when I received an order of TV trays from them. Also very poorly packaged and terribly damaged. Their solution was to return them to the store or take them to UPS to have them sent back. These trays were extremely heavy and in no way would I have been able to maneuver them. I ended up keeping them but can only use 2 of them. And I will never get why we, the consumer, must be burdened with the problems created by the store. Back to the bowls. They weren't broken but badly scratched with the box completely torn apart. I will keep them rather than deal with customer (dis)service. But I'm done. Hopefully tweeting about this experience will make them sit up and take notice. I recommend it.

My partner bought me a beautiful ring from the Alton, IL store in November as a Christmas gift. He wasn't sure of my ring size. He didn't ask me because of it being a surprise. Knowing I like Kohl's, he went there. The sales associate told him they would size the ring up or down one size for free if needed. All I had to do was bring it back in and they would take care of it. The ring is one size too big. I took it back to the store and the rude associate told me there was nothing she could do for me and went straight to the next customer without letting me explain the situation. Why would they tell my partner they would do something, then refuse to do it. To make a sale? Or did she not know what she was talking about? I've worked in retail for a few years and would ask a coworker or a manager before giving a paying customer false information. Why should I go somewhere else and pay to have it sized when Kohl's said they would it?

We still have the receipt. I was going to return it and get a different ring or get the money back, but I'm not sure of the return policy. I love the ring and would like to keep it, but there's no point if it doesn't fit. Kohl's is one of my favorite stores to buy clothing, but I've had a bad taste in my mouth since this has happened. I sent this complaint to the company on Facebook and sent an email to customer service. I got feedback from a man named Dan in Facebook. He told me he was sorry for my inconvenience, that he would contact the management team at the store I went to and get the problem fixed. I live 30 miles from the store and it has been snowing, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to stop in, but I definitely will asap. The low rating is due to the jewelry associate's actions towards me and the fact that the problem wasn't resolved when I visited the first time. I will submit a higher review depending how the next visit goes and if my ring is sized correctly.

Contacted customer service regarding a pan and lid I ordered online. They were packaged in a plastic sack with no form of protection in the package. They were both damaged when received. They said I could return to the store--duh! They could reorder online for me but, could not promise that it wouldn't be packaged the same way. It is not available in a store near me so my problem was not solved.

It's difficult to be kind regarding my experience but I'll try. Suffice to say I contacted the Kohl's CS chat more than 6 times, spending more than 3 hours trying to resolve a broken delivery item which cost less than $20. I was lied to by two online chat reps who had about as much command of the English language as a Syrian foreign national. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER THING FROM KOHL'S and not only that, I cut up my Kolh's credit card and they can sue me for the $18 because I will never pay them for this item. Even though I was promised refunds multiple times, they never materialized. So much for Kohl's... Bye bye...

If I could give this zero stars I would. I ordered my items weeks before Christmas and when they finally arrived (a week after they were supposed to and 3 days before Christmas) I received the wrong item. I ordered stockings and received an ALARM CLOCK. The packing slip was correct but the item was wrong. I called immediately and the person told me my item was still on the truck when I had, in my hand, my packing slip. I called AGAIN an hour later and got someone else and he told me the same thing - that the item was still on the truck and that it will arrive by 7 pm or later. That night I received an email confirmation stating that ALL MY ITEMS WERE DELIVERED. DUH. I had the packing slip - there was no truck with my items.

SO I called again the next day and got yet another person. Explained my situation... She told me I needed to go to the Kohl's store to receive my refund. Now I have to find time to go to a Kohl's store, days before Christmas to return an item I DIDN'T EVEN ORDER. And when I said "well my packing slip has stockings on it and it won't match up with the item I'm returning..." Her answer was "the customer is always right." I asked to speak with a manager, was placed on hold for 20 minutes, no manager ever spoke to me. Instead, the representative said she was looking up the stockings at different Kohl's stores... They had one stocking in one town and another stocking in another town. Now I have to go to TWO different stores?

We got disconnected so I called back for the fourth time and got another person who then offered me a discount for my next purchase and expedited shipping. NO THANKS. I called a Kohl's store and talked to the manager and explained EVERYTHING. He was so understanding and I was able to get a refund plus my kohl's cash back. Then last week, silly me decided to see if I could reorder the stockings online. I ordered one, used my kohl's cash and was happy the stocking was now on sale.

A week later I get an email saying my order has been canceled due to the item not being in stock. I went online immediately and it still shows that I can order it. Again, I called customer service and she said that their inventory hasn't been updated yet. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I wonder how many people are ordering things and then getting their orders cancelled because of false advertising. I'm so LIVID at kohl's.com. I have been a customer for a long time and this experience has been the worst I have ever had to deal with with any company.

I have been attempting to order a shirt from Kohls.com. Every single time I've tried I've received a "order cancelled, item is out of stock" e-mail the next day. Four separate occasions I've done this, mind you, and each time the person who placed the order assured me that the item was in stock prior to my placing the order. The last time, I was assured that my order would be put on hold so when it came in stock that it would ship but apparently that's not true!

This is absolutely unacceptable. Kohl's is a big business that should conduct its affairs better. IF they cannot manage the very basics of online shopping management then they need to stop selling things online! If too many people have ordered an item then it should be registered as out of stock, they should not allow more people to order it! And their customer service reps (who are all overseas, by the way and don't seem to actually care about solving your issue) need to be trained better so that they do not make promises they cannot keep. This is not that difficult and it's making me question ever shopping at Kohl's again if they are this mismanaged as a company.

I purchased an item online. It arrived Friday, New Year's eve actually earlier than expected. When I opened it it was damaged. I called the store. They told me that I would have to return it to the store and purchase it again so it could be reshipped as it was an online item only, in which I did. So after repurchasing it I noticed the price went from 76 to 108.00. I called back immediately and was told it was because I had used Kohl's cash and a new discount applied. I thought to myself I am not making a new purchase, I am exchanging a damaged item they shipped me. When I complained they offered to give me 20 dollars of Kohl's cash toward my next purchase in which I quickly responded, after I had been treated there would be no future purchase from a store that tried to charge me 30.00 dollars more on a broken item exchange.

I asked for a supervisor who still was was rude and unhelpful and offered to correct the price but wanted me to purchase it again. I told him I did not feel comfortable with that, that I would return the item to the store and upon receipt he could ship the new one as I was in no rush to get it. He said they did not do that either. To make a long story short I cancelled the second order and will return the item today. Their complete incompetence cost them a long standing customer. How hard should it be to exchange an item???
