Kohl’s in store jewelry says there is a full replacement for the life you own the jewelry. I purchased a $5,700 diamond halo wedding set. A diamond fell out last night less than 6 months after owning. After calling customer service to follow jewelry stores directions on replacement I was told if over $500 item, no replacement issued. That the store may not be up to date on return or replacement policies. I was never offered insurance. I will never buy here again.

I am a huge fan of Kohl's, love this store and I shop here often. However I am very disappointed in my recent purchase for Mother's Day of a necklace. It is Lauren Conrad's jewelry line for Mother's Day. Her "Mama" necklace. At what it was priced of $18 I did not expect it to be high class in any way. But I did however expect it to keep it's original color for more than a week. I have worn this necklace for simply 4 days, not getting it wet or exposing it to any lotions or sprays. It started as "rose gold" color and it is now a tarnished dark silver color. I am extremely disappointed in this necklace and simply bummed that I even took the time to purchase it. Low priced or not, I have had dollar store jewelry keep its color longer than 4 days. This jewelry should not even continue to be sold. If I was able to return it I would!

Awful company. I was promised a $10 coupon promo code into my email account by a supervisor called Oscar on Thursday 5 - 9 - 19. I was told it would be in there two to three days later. On day 4 I got Michael a supervisor who was absolutely useless. He said there was no notation in my account at all by Oscar, which Oscar had told me at the time of our call he had put the notation in there. I asked for a call back by entering my phone number in their automated system and some 3 hours and 15 minutes later someone called me back. Being transferred I left a voicemail in the executive offices voice mail and I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau today. Just false promises.

I ordered something online. I always order online because I am disabled. The item was shipped to me damaged. Let there be no mistake, despite all their grandstanding, Kohl's DOES NOT have a "Hassle-Free" return policy. Their return policy is nothing BUT hassle. First, they ship no return sticker with their items as do stores like Amazon and Wayfair.
To get return something damaged you have to call them. And wait. And wait. And wait. And while you wait they constantly play a recording telling you that you called during a busy time and that you should call back when it isn't so busy. REALLY? So it is MY fault that you don't have enough staff to handle the myriad of calls you get from pissed-off people like me who are angry they even had to call you in the first place? Put a return sticker in with your shipments and you won't get all these calls. Also, YOU have to pay to ship returns. INFURIATING! I will never, ever purchase from Kohl's again. "Hassle-free returns"...what a load of crap.

I have been a Kohl's customer for decades. A couple of days ago I bought a very expensive pair of ASICS running shoes, and then received a 30% off coupon in the mail a couple of hours after my purchase. I went back to the Kohl’s where I had bought the shoes, hoping to use the 30% off coupon for a substantial discount. I was informed by the customer service person that Kohl’s had changed the rules and the ASICS brand items are no longer subject to the 30% off coupon.
Nowhere on the coupon was this indicated nor was it indicated anywhere in the shoe section. So I returned the shoes, and ended up buying another pair of shoes directly from ASICS. I guess from now on if I want to use a coupon I will have to go to the Kohl’s website and pour over several pages of exclusions. I am not happy about this, and will never purchase another pair of ASICS running shoes from Kohl’s again.

I placed an online order for pajamas. Just received my box, it's got grasshoppers and cockroaches in it. Called customer service and she refunded my money, but couldn't reorder my products cause a lot are out of stock and I couldn't use my original promo code because it's no longer valid... This is ridiculous. Now I have to scramble around and find Father's Day gifts and hopefully the next box doesn't have bugs in it.

I have been a Kohl's customer for 15 years, have excellent credit and I took great satisfaction in shredding my Kohl's credit card and will never shop at Kohl's again. I shopped online with Kohl's recently and requested a local store pick up at the Kohl's my area. For some Kohl's reason my order was pulled in California. After discovering this, I called their 1800 #, but could not find a live person, every button I pushed gave me a robot.
So I was relegated to an online chat with a Kohl's rep, who informed me that they could not help me, they are not given the tools to redirect or cancel an order and that I would have to call the store directly in California. 48 hours later, I contacted the Kohl's 1-800 number and spoke with a Kohl's representative and he told me that I would have to call the store in California directly he did not have the means to cancel or redirect my order. I informed him that the Kohl's website only provides the address for the store, he said that I would have to google the store's phone number. What atrocious customer service, next Kohl's will be starting self checkout. I am more than happy to shop somewhere else. Kohl's needs to realize that great customer service is for repeat purchase not for profit.

I am a credit card holder of Kohl's. I was late. Not even a month late. The day after my payment was due I started getting these phone calls, sometimes 4 or 5 times a day. I would also get emails stating my payment was due. They would even call on Sundays. Needless to say I would not encourage anyone to get a Kohl's card. I have been a loyal customer but when my card is paid off I will cancel this card, because if they treat you like this and you are not even a month behind just a few days I don't need this type of harassment.

Ordered men's black dress pants online in black because the store didn't carry the size needed - 36x36. When I received them, they'd substituted a bigger size than ordered. Returned & ordered online a second time in the needed size to give Kohl's a second chance - UNFORTUNATELY they repeated themselves! Again, Kohl's shipped me a substituted larger size. Since when is Kohl's allowed to substitute? I didn't agree to that! I may stop ordering online all together - which is problematic, because my guys are all 6'4" & need lengths the store doesn't even carry!

I missed 1 payment because my children's father had a heart attack and we were with him at the hospital for 2 weeks. I obviously had bigger things to worry about. Got a call I had missed my payment. I apologized, explained my situation and they more than doubled my payment not including an extra $27 late fee added to my account balance that will be charged interest. I was informed they were a collection agency so I asked to speak to Kohl's directly. Same story. They offered to waive the late fee only but my payment is still $75 due instead of the normal $27. Kohl's has no compassion for families when they are in need. I will never purchase anything for myself, my family, or my friends there again. They do not deserve families spending their money in their stores when they treat them so badly when they really need help.

My husband and I submitted an order online which went through. We then got a notification that it had an issue so I called. We used his card so he had to verify, which was fine, but after he already verified twice he had to go to work and for whatever ridiculous reason they needed a third verification (the representative was clearly not paying attention/doing her job correctly) but whatever, we put it under my card and my name instead.
She gets my email wrong, doesn't send me my order number and so I call. Well apparently because I don't have the order number that was never sent to me, or the bogus email she typed in, I can't access my order and I don't even know if it shipped to me or not. Talked to a manager who HUNG UP ON ME WHILE I WAS TALKING with some crap response like, "Yeah, sorry about that".
I've never felt so disrespected by a customer service center. I've wasted over an hour being flexible with them and now they have $500 of my money, I have no actual confirmation that I'll get anything in the mail, and I got treated like absolute crap in the process. A long time mostly online customer, return when needed in store. I always pay the last statement balance in full. Ended up getting a bill for 3.96 and when I asked them what it was for (i.e. the item the charge is attributable to that I purchased). This was too difficult a concept for the customer service representatives or supervisor to handle. This is ridiculous, if your programs are making it too complicated for even your associates to explain then maybe it is time to rethink your business model. Ended up telling them to cancel my charge card and they made no effort to keep the customer, over 3.96.... They spent more money in time discussing this as I called twice, the first time asked someone to call me back and they never did. The last customer service associate was ID **, who was pleasant but still could not answer the question of what is this for....

I am a KOHL'S customer with a KOHL'S credit card for the past 7 years. When I was looking for a hoverboard for my son, I found a Swagtron T380 on their website. While I was checking the reviews, I found that even though Kohl's said the MSRP was $399 and they had it on sale for $349, that was a complete fabrication! Swagtron LIsts the MSRP for $350 and they had it on sale for $249! KOHL'S was charging 10 dollars more for their "sale" price. In addition Walmart, and several other stores were offering the 249 price. I thought I'd give KOHL'S a chance and have them price match per their statement, but they don't price match "special" items. What a crock! So they lied about the MSRP, and they don't price match.

3-29 I made a 4 item $93 purchase, no trouble loading the cart... Then check out took 45 minutes. I live in the desert with a private run post office. So I must use a PO Box number. Over 30 minutes of struggling to but a P O box number only or after street address or on the second line to no avail, I had to settle for street address only, oh well UPS delivers to the house. WRONG Kohls has UPS hand it off to the post office to save on delivery charges. So no box number, back it goes. Comes in two orders, no refund until second shipment is back at Warehouse for 7 days. I didn't find this out through the online loop they put you in to try and find a question that pertains to your issue so they can give you the boilerplate answer.
When that didn't work, I tore through the site page by page looking for a contact number...NONE! No surprise why would they want to answer questions? Found their number in my checking account log, as to where my $$ were sent. The 866 number lead me overseas, where Christine #1001, succeeded in mispronouncing my name every 3 seconds and finally settled on merchandise in warehouse, min 7 days will refund $$. That was my very first attempt at buying from Kohl's. I promised Christine if they would just send me back my money, I would never buy from them again.

The "manager" obviously did not listen and said that I could have my grandmother return the shoes to the store. She was my best friend who past away 2 years ago. That will be hard for her. They are being shipped to my granddaughter's house incorrectly.
This has been one bad experience after another and this morning I get an email that says they reviewed the case and still just have the shoes returned for a credit. Which is fine... But I have wasted time, my son will now waste his time and I am starting to see why big box companies are going under. Thankfully, our local Kohl's is wonderful. Too bad they didn't have these shoes. I have been a long-time dedicated Kohl's customer. They were my usual go-to. Recent experiences changed that in the store and online. I ordered 8 items of clothing online for an upcoming vacation. I changed my shipping address to my new address and continued with my order. I later got an email saying part of my order shipped and I would have to wait for the rest. No problem. I kept looking for my shipment on the expected day. No box. Late that night I got an email saying it was delivered, only I hadn't received it. Checked the email again and noticed it was shipped to my old address at an apartment complex. I tried to contact customer service, but as expected, they were closed.
Drove over to the old address late at night to retrieve the box but it was already taken/stolen. Had to wait until the next morning to call, which I did. I was told they would have to investigate what happened with the package even though they confirmed it was shipped to the wrong address. I understand stores need to protect themselves from theft, but they confirmed it was shipped to the wrong address. They saw my billing address updated - likely so the purchase would go through - but they weren't concerned about making sure their software corrected my shipping address too even though that's where I changed it online. I was told all they could do was open an investigation and I would get a notification in 10 days regarding whether or not they would honor either a credit to my account or ship another package. To where? Who knows? When? By then I'll be on vacation!
So I have to wait until I come back from vacation to fight for my credit or clothes that I needed before vacation?! I will never order with Kohls.com again, especially after I see all the similar complaints here. As a long-time customer, I had no reason to be concerned and investigate them prior to ordering, but I wish I had now. They won't get my business again.

It was extremely cheaply made and definitely not the actual shoe. Asked them how they could sell this under false advertising and at the same price. Got no answer. Went to a competitor's store and got the exact shoe I wanted at the price Kohl's was asking and the sandal at Kohl's was also "on sale" at 15% off. What happened to you Kohl's? Profit over quality! Customer service refused to reverse one of the charges or provide information for who could. Called Kohl’s and was told it was impossible even though the order was not shipped nor had a shipping/tracking number. The woman on the phone asked me if I lived near the old address or knew the person now living there as if contacting them or knocking on their door was the only option to get my package. It’s 2019 Kohl’s- come up with a more sophisticated and streamlined process for customer service. Most companies are able to make adjustments to shipping before a label is created. Kohl’s lost a customer forever...

The store occasionally offers $10.00 in "Kohl's Cash" for every $50.00 you spend. But you can't apply your Kohl's Cash toward the amount of your purchase after the discounts are applied. The Kohl's Cash comes off the amount BEFORE any discounts. I earned $60.00 in KC. I made one more purchase just to use it up before it expired. My purchase amount came to $112.00 after the 30% discount, free shipping coupon code and a $10.00 off for purchasing "Home" products. I then applied the $60.00 Kohl's cash I had earned. The total amount, however, came to 77.81. That math doesn't add up. 112 - 60 = 52. What a freaking deceptive rip-off!! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT KOHL'S AGAIN!! I spent over EIGHT HUNDRED dollars there in the last couple months. And they're ripping me off nearly $25.00 in my Kohl's cash!?!?

I had a statement from Kohl's showing that my balance was zero. I purchased something and had a balance under $8.00. I made my payment online immediately following my purchase. I received a text saying that the payment was reversed for some reason. I then made another payment of $1.00 to make sure my balance was zero again. I then received a text message from Kohl's stating I now have a balance of $77. I was told that I had another payment reversal by my bank, for reasons unknown and they were charging me a $25.00 fee because they were charged by my bank. I think they have some unethical practices because I have been using the same account to make all my online payments to multiple businesses without one ever being returned with the exception of Kohl's.
I then call Customer Service to figure out why I have a balance and they basically call me a liar saying I didn't make payments and they have proof, even though I was holding my bank statement in my hand showing all the payments I have made to them, and they somehow did not have a record of 3 of them. Very rude to call your customer a liar when they are offering to send you a copy of your bank statement showing you have paid them and they don't offer you a way to send this proof. There must be a reason they don't want to receive it. As soon as I get this resolved I will cut my card into little pieces and never buy a single thing from them again.

Be very careful when using purchased gift cards and making online only purchases!! After ordering a Graco 4 in 1 car seat for my grandchild using my gift card purchased by my son for my birthday AND included my credit card for the balance, the website did not use my $150 gift card. I was going to throw the gift card away, but after double checking my invoice in my email, I discovered it was NOT used. (I put the gift card number and passcode in, then the website asked me for my credit card to cover the balance.)
I called customer service, I was told by the rep that he, nor his supervisor, could fix this issue - that I would have to receive it, return it, and place the order again in order to apply the gift card because I waited 30 minutes after the order was placed to call them. The customer service rep also asked me for the gift card number and HE TOLD ME that I had $150 on it to spend! NOW the website does not even offer this car seat for $199! What happened? This customer service experience with Kohl's was horrible and I hope no one else has to go through this. BUYER BEWARE.

Kohl’s very clearly is only in the business of making money and that’s all. No care, concern, or consideration. So why do we continue to support this company? Wake up, stop giving your money if they don’t respect you. I ordered online during December 2019 and felt satisfied with my purchase until I washed the towels I’d purchased. I washed them alone as I know the towel has to shed when first purchased. After the wash I was horrified at the amount of lint that remained in my washer after the wash. Immediately after one wash the towels looked old. I let it go because with online ordering there is a gamble. You won’t like something. Then I forgot I opened the account and tried to make a payment and it’s been a nightmare. How can it be difficult to make a payment... That’s the one thing they want is your money and they can’t even get that right. I’m done... I’ll pay my balance of $13 and I’ll never use the card again.
It’s sad that we can’t just be happy without jumping through 100 hoops. We’d rather let them off the hook to avoid a mess. They don’t care so neither should we. You wouldn’t continue to patron a restaurant if you were mistreated so why is it different with retailers. Plenty of other retailers just stop shopping with them. For the people who love Kohl’s...great. That’s business... Some like you and some don’t. For me this is my one and only time dealing with them. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

When purchasing some boots online at Kohls.com for $59.99, I could take an extra 30% if I use my Kohl's card - so I was going to use it for the extra discount. I also had $15.00 in Kohl's cash to use toward the purchase. Sooo... 30% off of $59.99 is $41.99. Did they do it that way - NO! Instead they took the price of $59.99 minus my Kohl's cash FIRST ($15) BEFORE taking the 30% off!! So, basically it took some of the value of my Kohl's cash away. They should have taken the 30% off BEFORE using my Kohl's cash. What a sneaky way to do business.

After logging in to my Kohl's charge account, it takes 3 deliberate clicks and entering bank account information before selecting the big green "I AGREE" button to sign up for AutoPay. Then, presumably, you would get an email that thanks you for signing up for AutoPay. Yet I have never received such an email, and Kohl's claims that I must have accidentally signed up for this after 5 years of making manual payments. For the past two months, Kohl's has DOUBLE charged me. I make my payment, and then they still AutoDraft my bank for the exact same payment. When speaking to customer service, they claim that if I make only the minimum payment due, that they will still AutoDraft me.
So just using simple math, if my bill is $50, and I log in and pay $50, then they claim they will STILL draft me another $50. Never mind the fact that once the payment is made, that the amount due is now $0, but they claim that our Terms and Conditions tell us they will still draft a payment. It hasn't happened in 5 years, but now it is happening. Not satisfied with this insane answer, I asked for this to be elevated. I got a phone call from a woman claiming to be in the president's office, and that she was the final say for Kohl's. She claims that I must have accidentally clicked into the AutoPay menu, selected to enable it, entered my bank account information, and then clicked the big green "I AGREE" button without realizing it. That is her response to me.
Not that there could have possibly been an error or glitch somewhere, because computers are infallible, but that I unknowingly did this to myself after more than 5 years of routine payments the same way each and every time. So let's assume I did blindly hammer away at my keyboard and come up with my exact bank account information and hit agree. If I make the minimum payment due, leaving $0 - ZERO - due, then wouldn't the AutoPay amount be....ZERO???? Logically, the system should recognize that a payment has been made, and cancel out the AutoPay, but nope. Not Kohl's.
So then wouldn't they recognize that $0 is due? Nope. Not Kohl's. Do they accept any fault or responsibility that their system, after 5 years of never having an issue, could have screwed something up? Nope, not Kohl's. The customer is NOT right for Kohl's. I logged in and cancelled this AutoPay that I apparently accidentally signed up for, and I immediately got an email confirming the cancellation. But still no email of ever having signed up. Surely they would have proof of me signing up and receiving an email confirmation. But nope. I do, however, have emails from December, Jan, and Feb that thank me for my ONE TIME payments, and having no mention of AutoPay or scheduled payments. I want customer care. I want customer service.

I emailed Kohl's to ask for help and they offered me a 10% discount, and after I kept emailing they finally ended on offering 30% off to replace the necklace. I know the necklace goes on sale frequently for 60-70% off, and it was a simple fix for them to offer me the necklace for a higher percent off to simply match the price my mom got. Kohl's had given me a faulty necklace, after all! I am so disappointed by the terrible guest care - this is not how Kohl's used to be. I used the coupon code provided on the front of their webpage (NEWYEAR) and received an additional 20% off totaling $267.98 and was to receive 50$ Kohl's cash. The payment for 267.98$ was withdrawn from my account.

I called the number twice and spoke with two separate individuals. They said they could not tell me why my order was cancelled, but that I was welcome to shop in store. Since Kohl's cancelled the order, they should at least be able to inform the patron as to why or offer to fix it, or some sort of compensation. I pointed out that the coupon would no longer be valid (it expired that day) and I was told again that I was welcome to shop in store. I was informed that the money would be returned to my account within 48 hours. They were okay with taking my money but refused to send my purchase at that point. We were told we could exchange them, but they had to be: The same brand [as in Levi’s, Lee, etc]. The same type of clothing (pants). AND THE EXACT SAME PRICE AS ON THE ORIGINAL ITEM’S TAG.
Of course there were no jeans or pants by that brand FOR THAT SAME PRICE. There were pants that were $8 cheaper or $4 or more, but we couldn’t get those because we were told it was “against policy to exchange anything for a different price, even if it meant Kohl’s would come out ahead.” So we could not exchange a $40 pair of jeans for a $32 pair because that was “against Kohl’s policy.” We would have taken a loss of $8. Instead, We left with a useless pair of $40 jeans, and Kohl’s lost our business for good. Kohl’s would have come out ahead. Now Kohl’s is taking a substantial loss of income/business from us and potentially anyone who asks if we recommend shopping there. The answer will now always!! Be a resounding NO.

They looked for the color I wanted in stores and it wasn't available so I was told to return the mixer to the store and purchase again online at the now higher price. They would then refund me the difference. I was promised this wouldn't be an issue, it would be simple and fast. 3 months, 5 chat conversations later and hours of my time they still have not refunded me the full amount of the difference.
As of this morning less than half of the promised amount posted to my bank account. I was told this was because of the Kohl's cash. The last supervisor I dealt with wouldn't read the previous chat conversations thoroughly and accused me of using the Kohl's cash. It very clearly states in the conversation that the representative was going to manually adjust my Kohl's cash (take it away) so that it could be an even exchange and I would be receiving my refund of $135 in 7-10 days.
One month later I hadn't yet received it so I contacted them again. I was told it should post to my account within 2 days. One month later I still hadn't received it. The supervisor then said he would only refund me half of the amount because I couldn't give him the Kohl's cash numbers that I should have earned from the purchase. The Kohl's cash that was taken away! I want my money back that I was promised from 3 different employees, they should at least honor their word after wasting hours of my time. She said, "Oh it does this randomly where it just mails you a check from corporate office." I'm so confused at this point because this girl is nice, she just doesn’t know anything. I asked him what he meant and he said he seen my sister walk in without a Dyson Vacuum and when he looked up again she was returning one at the return desk. I yelled at him, "SIR YOU'RE CRAZY. WE WALKED IN WITH BOTH THESE ITEMS. WATCH THE TAPE." He insisted he did watch the tape and can we come with him to his office. I said, "Sure." I said, "Call the cops. We did nothing wrong." He said he will and I called him a name or two so he asked me to leave so I did. Anyways he ended up rewinding the tape and seeing in fact we did walk in with the Vacuum. That man embarrassed me in front of the entire store. I was so embarrassed. I’m a taxpayer and a law abiding citizen.

I made an order on Kohl's online store and it was the worst experience I have ever had with a company before. I order an Oshkosh Puffer Jacket as a gift for my niece's Birthday, a hoodie, a pair of sweatpants, and a pair of tights. My order total was $61.04 and all items were on sale, thought it was a great little deal. Order is confirmed and I get an email with the details, all is well. Then the next night I get an email saying "We couldn't complete order **, and we apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact us to figure out the next steps toll-free at 1-888-890-1755. You have not been charged for this order. If you used Gift Cards or Kohl's Cash on this order, the amount will be refunded within the next 2 days. Since you have not been charged, no Kohl's Cash has been accrued."
So naturally that night after seeing the email I check my bank to see if I was charged and I was. So I wait until the next morning for their call center to be open and make the call. The woman that helped me told me that they just needed to verify my identity and that she needed my birth date, email, and the last four digits on my card, which I promptly gave. She proceeded to tell me that the name logged with my phone did not match my name and she could not verify even though if you look at the caller id I was using the phone in question for this call.
Here is the kicker, she told me that I was credited back my money (with a quick check I could see that I had indeed been given my money back since the previous night) and I would have to place my order again, and that it should be no problem because all of the items are still in stock. I kept asking her why they cancelled in the first place and she said it was just part of a procedure... but that is not really an explanation. This woman basically just politely ran me in circles. A company should have a clear and concise answer for why they have cancelled a customer's order, if it is just "part of a procedure" then explain to me what that procedure is. Still waiting on a callback from a supervisor, although I doubt they will call.
I liken this experience to going into a store and taking my time carefully selecting my purchase. Going to the counter where they ring me up with no problem, then instead of bagging my purchase the clerk says "Oh my goodness it is cancelled!" and then places it back on the shelves only to return to the counter and tell me that I can go and grab the items again and try to repurchase. They did not have any more in the store so the clerk informed me that I would have to reorder them. Here’s the best part I had the gift receipt and the value was a lot less than what I purchased them for...interesting!!! It’s good thing I had the original receipt on me. So I was able to get a store credit for my daughter. Very poor customer services and what kind of scam are you running when the gift receipt is less than the original. This needs to be looked into. How many people so with the gift receipt not knowing how much the person actually paid. Wow!!! The CEO ARE RAKING IT IN!!! Very unhappy customer.

Had someone in Asia and then sent to the Philippines when I asked for the US. Ordered my bosses their gifts. Kept looking at tracking every day and was to arrive on the 19th. Our party was the 21st. On the 18th, the day it was to come I get an email from Kohl's saying they cancelled my order because they were out of stock! They couldn't tell me that when I ordered it. Waited til the day it was to arrive. Called and finally got someone in Milwaukee, WI and asked for the corp # and all they ever say is we don't have that information sorry. LIARS!
I emailed "customer support," told them I keep getting told that and I know there is someone higher up they can give me a phone # too or even an email. They respond back telling me to call the customer service # for help. They don't even read the emails and pay attention to what their customers are saying. If you want something to be sent for a certain time, I would go elsewhere. I never will trust Kohl's again. Not only did I find my experience at the local Forest Hill, MD store poor, but I learned when dealing with the corporate leadership Michelle Gass and Sona Chawla that incompetence and inconsideration is a corporate wide culture. Those I contacted directly would not reply and those who I did speak to that stated they would contact me back failed to fulfill their word. My issue was not properly resolved. My wife and I contacted the store first as we had a baby seat purchased for us that was the wrong model. Due to the age and location of the relative who purchased it, we were unable to secure a receipt. We called in advance specifically to ask if we would receive a store credit or a check refund without a receipt and were told a corporate check refund for the lowest amount the model was ever sold for. This was confirmed by Mary when we entered the store.
As it turns out, Kohl's only provides store credit. I am fine with the policy, and am not fine with being told something not in line with that policy. As a result we relinquished the car seat the store (unopened/factory sealed box) which they have since returned to their warehouse, however, we have received nothing of a refund of any sort. I've talked to Shelley at their corporate office and she constantly interrupts while you speak. 2 emails to their corporate executives and no reply of any sort. The store credit is a waste for us as it puts us out $250 we'll need to pay out of pocket to replace. In a day and age when most companies are willing to work with you when they see their associates are in error, Kohl's will throw you to the cold at your financial negative.

She continued to tell me that the package was scheduled to be delivered the next day. When I tried to explain to her that the shipping info changed every day, she told me “STOP BEING SO NEGATIVE”. Needless to say I was livid! I wasn’t negative I just wanted my package. I asked to speak to a supervisor who was also no help!
After hanging up with them, I received several emails from different people asking me once again to be patient but at no point and time did any of them try to accommodate me or offer compensation. I called Kohl's, I was told to return it to the store to receive my credit. I ran down there to stand in line for 40 mins. Returned the item less the Kohl's I had earned and used from its original purchase. The item was not available in the store so I again had to call customer service to place the order for the item. The only one available was a Nintendo Switch nonbundle at a higher price.
I was getting less and paying more than my original purchase. The representative said she would place the order and open a case for me to get the difference back. WHAT A JOKE!! I have over 20 emails asking me to re-state my case and telling me they "can't" because it wasn't the same item. I would happily take the "same item" but they don't have it in stock. He guaranteed he'd be able to apply the $20 but in the end stated he could not help me and transferred me to a dept. that was closed! The next day I reviewed my order and realized I had been canceled! I called right away to find out why. They couldn't explain and I stated I'd just reorder the items I can before they were sold out trying to wait for an explanation. I placed my order and two of my items were shipped to a store three cities away from me. Needless to say, they were not picked up and I was told I would just be refunded. It was only an item for $5.00 each and was only credited $0.20! I let it go and went on to use my $90.00 Kohl's cash I'd accumulated from my Black Friday order.
I was unable to do so and called and the CSR stated my Kohl's cash was used at the store three cities away where those two items were shipped! I was very upset and told him I had did NOT use my Kohl's cash I saved for my kids' Xbox I was trying to order on the Kohl's website. He said he'd email my $90.00 Kohl's cash and I could use it up to 12/15/18. I tried to order an Xbox for my children and use my Kohl's cash and it still did not work. I called another CSR and he placed the order and applied my Kohl's cash which as this point accumulated to $100.20 with additional in store purchase I'd made earlier that week. He placed the order for the Xbox. I checked on the order the next day to be sure there were no issues like my past experience. The order was CANCELED!
I called right away and asked to speak to a Supervisor and in 5 minutes I'd been transferred THREE TIMES unexpectedly having to explain myself each time, to not one supervisor. I was sent to fraud who tried to place my order without any restrictions being placed and by that time the Xbox was sold out everywhere. He stated there was nothing he could do and he would notate my account for them to STOP sending my orders to fraud.
He transferred me yet again to a CSR to try to place my Xbox order. She stated she could do nothing for me because the Xbox had been sold out everywhere throughout Kohl's and ALL of FLORIDA! She stated they could offer an accommodation the next time I called but she could not tell me what the accommodation would be until I call again IF the Xbox is back in stock and I would have to keep going on the website to see if it would be. I asked for the number to corporate and the reference number to all of the six calls I'd placed in the last few weeks.
Suddenly, I was able to speak to a Supervisor who offered to add 300 points ($15.00) to my Kohl's account. I'd love to be able to explain all of this to my child who was expecting this gift for Christmas! Had Kohl's customer service been able to effectively help me from the very beginning, the gift would have already been shipped to me. Now, "there is nothing they could do because the item is now completely out of stock." I am waiting for a call from the President, in which I'd love an explanation as to why my experiences have been so terrible! Even my friends and family don't want to order from Kohl's and use their Kohl's cash because of my experiences. When I placed my order the Tortola was $441.99 with tax and they told me my package would be expected November 28th-30th. When the 30th came I checked the package tracking on UPS and it said that UPS had never received the package. But the Kohl’s website said the order had been completed and shipped.
So I called the customer service number and I was told my package was possibly lost but the representative didn’t provide much help. So that weekend I decided to try to talk to someone else via an online chat on the Kohl’s website. This representative was very helpful explaining what is happening with my package and how a refund would work if necessary. However he seemed to avoid the questions I asked about what would happen to my Kohl’s Cash I received from the order.
The following day I got an email from Kohl’s customer service explaining that there was still a chance for my package to arrive and that I should wait until December 10th. The following days I was forced to spend my Kohl’s cash being that it expired on the 5th of December, so I placed an order totaling in over $120.00 to utilize all of the Kohl’s cash.
December 10th came around and I had already received all of my items from my Kohl’s cash order and I called back to see why my package has still not arrived. And the phone representative said that my order would have to be refunded. He also informed me that my $120 Kohl’s cash would be DEDUCTED from my refund.
I was very upset because my refund would only be $311.99. I spent that Kohl’s cash when I believed my order would be arriving. With the deduction I will not be receiving a refund large enough to order another Xbox from another distributor. It feels as if Kohl’s has used the Kohl’s Cash system to force me to spend an extra $120 I would not have normally spent with them. I have tried to ask them for anything they can do to resolve this, and all they have offered is a $50 coupon and one day shipping on my next order (requiring me to spend MORE money to get any kind of resolution for my loss of money). Needless to say I am fed up with Kohl's.

First I asked simply for the missing parts. - I was told that was not possible and the complete item would be replaced - ok fine but I bought the stools for a special event so time was of the essence. The replacements could not be expedited (why? this was not my problem it was Kohl's) and would not arrive in time so I asked if I could pick up in store. I suffer from severe respiratory illness and bipolar depression, and she knew it was something I’d had my eye on and thought it would cheer me up, and the $100 off was something she didn’t feel she could pass up. She decided to order it from Kohl’s - primarily due to the lure of $60 in Kohl’s cash that could be used for other holiday purchases - and did so, alongside some other miscellaneous items. She was informed the order would be delivered by 11/30. She then informed me, and I went on to happily obtain several items relating to the VR headset, under the assumption it would be arriving shortly.
11/30 came and went, no headset. The other items arrived as promised. Checking the UPS website shows the item has “label printed,” which we were told indicates they had been notified of the order but had not received it from the sender; Kohl’s website listed the order as “complete.” We assumed it was just taking some extra time due to Black Friday, so waited.
A week later, no change and no item. Attempted to contact Kohl’s regarding the issue and was hung up on by three separate reps after they delivered this speech: “We’re sorry, we are unable to assist with any questions or issues due to a system update, please call back in an hour.” This was an actual human saying this, not a recording. On the fourth call - each spaced out by an hour, as instructed - I was informed the reason we had not received the item was that it was out of stock and would not be available, and that my girlfriend would need to call to get a refund issued (as she is the only signer on the Kohl’s card).
Not once did they contact us about the issue; had I not called them, they were apparently content to let us sit and stare out the window waiting for an item that would never come - while holding on to our $200, of course. Given the sales are long over, and the headsets are pretty much sold out everywhere, we’re essentially out of luck, which has only aggravated my physical and mental health issues. Terrible customer service situation, and judging from other reviews with the same or similar issues, it doesn’t appear to be an isolated issue or even one caused by Black Friday/Cyber Monday overloads, either.

I had $60.00 worth of Kohl's cash, $5.00 in Kohl's rewards and a 25% off coupon. We were shopping trying to stay within $10.00. So I used my Kohl's app as if I was ordering it online just to keep up with it. So I had about $74.00 (rounding off) in shopping bag, I figured -$60.00 Kohl's Cash = $14.00. That is what common sense tells you. I check out and it's $28.00. I ask how and the guy tries to explain. Now I'm more confused. I pay, look at the receipt and what the hell is this? It takes my Item that was $35.00 subtracts a Kohl's Cash amount like $20.00 leaving about $15.00 that now has 25% taken off for an additional $1.50.
Now in my head I'm thinking $35.00-25% = $26.25 pay with Kohl's Cash leaving a balance of $33.75 in Kohl's Cash. What kind of Crap Math are they using. Well it cost them more than the extra $14.00. I'm done shopping there. Get your crap together Kohl's and stopping ripping people off like so many other merchants. Don't call it Kohl's Cash because it is not worth the amount you say. What good is a 25% discount when using Kohl's Cash if it's not off of the original amount but 25% off the discounted amount?

11/20/18 I purchased various clothing items for a birthday present for $101.83 and was given a $15 Kohl's Cash coupon. On 11/25/18 I used the Kohl's cash to buy a pair of pajamas for $2.17. Total charged to my credit card for gifts $104.00. Gifts didn't go over so returned all on 12/5 and received a credit of $85.44 on the $104 purchase (less the $15 Kohl's Cash) and $2.17 on the 2nd purchase for a total credit to my card for $87.61 and given a $15 Kohl's Cash again to make up the difference charged to my card. This obligates me to spend again and probably have to add more cash, or let the Kohl's Cash expire which amounts to a 15.7% loss on the transaction.
Kohl's Cash is a ripoff that forces you to spend it or lose it. J.C. Penney credits returns for the full amount charged to your credit card no matter how many coupons were involved. Don't spend those Kohl's Cash coupons as they are really the way Kohl's forces you to spend more, and by the way, they kept the $1.39 tax paid on the coupon. Better yet, DO NOT SHOP AT THE CHEATING STORE!!! Shop at Penney's or Macy's.

I am a frequent Kohl's online customer; and was shocked at a recent experience. Nowhere online does Kohl's advise you that you may be receiving returned/used merchandise. I received a coat, no tags "rolled" up in a ball stuffed into a mailing envelope. To make matters worse the customer service is poor, wait times for customer service on existing orders is ridiculous so that must be a signal they are having problems. I was in the store a few weeks ago and struck up a conversation with a customer who said this is the next store to go out of business - his story was just as bad. What a shame that Kohl's WON'T do better, executive management must be aware of this.

So I call the number speak to a non-english speaking person. Explain the problem, and am told "that date was a non Kohl's cash day". Was told a refund would be issued for the missing pillows, place an online order (chat can't do) for the pillows, give them the new order number so that a price adjustment can be made to match the Black Friday ad, & free shipping. Ivan **, the chat rep, repeated multiple times, "please, rest assured this will be taken care of". Baloney!
Pillows were to have arrived by 12-5-2018. Nothing! Called CS 12-6-2018, got a foreign male, whom I could barely understand. Insisted this was first time I contacted them, no, it wasn't! He finally agreed to credit my credit card account for the missing pillows from the 11-19 order, adjust the price for the pillows that "should arrive shortly" to the Black Friday pricing. And to allow 3-7 days for this to show up on my account. I have serious doubts this will happen. I will be checking my credit card account daily. If I don't see the promised credits, I will be contacting my credit card company, Kohl's corporate, Better Business Bureau, and if necessary, the state attorney general. No customer service skills whatsoever. All she kept saying is, "I can’t. I can’t". I have worked retail for 20 years and yes you can. Yes you can. Anything can be overridden to fix and solve a customer issue.
I will not recommend Kohl’s ever again to anyone and they will be the next to go bankrupt and close all stores. They would rather lose customers And steal your money than provide good customer service. Buyers beware of the Kohl's cash scam. Oh did I mention if you buy something online and qualify for free shipping and try to use Kohl's cash it takes it off the mdse total and now you have to pay 8.95 shipping. It doesn’t work like a gift card or cash. If it’s cash it shouldn’t take it off the total. It should still give you free shipping and then the so called Kohl’s cash comes off your total. Not the other way. That’s just another scam on Kohl’s end to screw the customers over. Total BS and they will soon be bankrupt because I’m not the only one writing reviews. So I call the store to see if by any chance they have a size 71/2 I could of get an even exchange. So the guy was very nice and went to check for me and told me those sneakers I brought they didn't have them in the store. I call Kohl's to explain to them that I call the store and they didn't have the sneaker and all I want is to get an even exchange but they gave a hard time because I pay less for the sneakers and they wanted me to get the sneakers now for the price that went back to the original price.
So I was so upset and I wanted to speak to a manager. So she said she would honor the price but I couldn't use Kohl's cash which if I return my sneakers they are going to take the Kohl's cash I already purchase. Instead exchange the sneakers but they didn't want to. Kohl's why are you the only store pulling this multiple charge crap? I've had a pending charge for my original order total since Wednesday 11/28. Plus a double of that charge pending. I've also had two partial charge authorizations that my bank removed, and another partial amount actually processed twice and refunded once. Do you not realize that these holds actually tie up money in our bank accounts? Do you not realize that not all of your customers are rolling in money? You have tied up over $400 of my money since Wednesday evening for an order totaling $61.32. On what planet is that acceptable?
I've called customer service and wasted 3 hours of my time to be lied to. I've messaged here and tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. I've gotten my bank to do as much as they're able, including canceling my debit card, but you're still managing to post charges to my account. I've picked up part of my order in store. I've canceled the same in-store items on the duplicate order your website created. 3 items that are set to be shipped have been canceled on one order, but not the other. This is the most screwed up transaction I have ever been part of.
Don't reply that I should use the contact button, because I have. Don't reply that you've messaged me so it appears to others that you're handling this because your messages are just full of more nonsense. Don't tell me to call customer service because they simply lie and give fake reference numbers after telling me my duplicate order is canceled when it's not. Don't tell me my order is in fulfillment because that's **. Don't tell me about mistake you want me to own, because they aren't my fault.
I will NEVER EVER EVER in a million years shop with your store. But I will shout this experience from the rooftops to caution everyone I know not to shop with you. I will follow up with the complaints I made to the FTC, BBB and the Attorney General's office. I will be part of any and every class action lawsuit that comes from this giant screw up. And, for the peanut gallery that decides that people who don't have tons of extra money laying around shouldn't be shopping for expensive stuff... my order was for clothing for my kids. I took a photo of my bank account for proof of this. I called and the manager just gave me the runaround.
What is an authorization hold or pending charge? Upon submitting an order through Kohls.com you may see an authorization hold or multiple pending charges. These temporary holds are to ensure the card being used is valid and/or ensure that funds are available for order processing. Once merchandise ships, the holds are removed and the actual charge will post to your credit or debit card. Pending authorizations may take up to seven (7) business days to be released. Your financial institution determines length of the hold. And said the below is my authorizing the policy, nowhere in the statement below does it say that the amount they are going to place on hold is over 3 times the amount of the order.
Multiple authorizations may occur when an order is shipped in more than one package and/or if orders are combined with different fulfillment channels: Buy Online, Free Store Pickup or Buy Online, Ship to Store. Please consult your financial institution for assistance with release of funds. If an order is canceled, the pending authorization may take up to seven (7) business days for funds to be released.

You have to wait for their VERY slow shipping when other companies are getting products to customers within 2 days. 4. Kohl's will create an "incident report" for incidents like mine, but will do nothing to actually help you. They will just tell you that they are sorry and you have to wait for your items to arrive. 5. Once all your items arrive (they use multiple different shippers) and if you need to return anything, you have to go in store. That is a fine and dandy, if you get a nice customer service representative. The one I got had a horrible attitude and talked down to me.

Shopping on Cyber Monday at Kohl’s.com and placed an almost $300 order. As I was entering in my info it was telling me I would receive $75 in Kohl’s cash. The website was experiencing a “high volume” (is what I was told from customer service) and so by the time the order went through (the website was moving slow and malfunctioning on me) it was 4 minutes past their “earning period”. I didn’t even look at the time because to my knowledge everything went through fine. Until I just logged on to try and use my Kohl’s cash and realized it was never sent to me. That’s when I checked my email and saw the order was placed 4 minutes late. I called customer service and the first rep was smug and rude and placed me on hold for 5 minutes and ended up hanging up on me.
I called back and spoke to another rep and voiced my frustrations about the original problem AND the way I was treated by the first rep. She said there was nothing she could do except offer me $25! $25 versus $75 is a pretty big difference. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she told me “that’s fine but he’s going to tell you the same thing” and “most other people wouldn’t have even offered you the $25 but I did so that’s something” Hold up! So your website malfunctions and somehow that’s my problem? Then the supervisor gets on the phone and says “there’s nothing I can do for you” so I ask to speak to his supervisor to which he responds “that’s fine but they are going to have to call you back because they aren’t on the floor right now” This is 100% annoying and disrespectful. I work in customer service and couldn’t imagine speaking to anyone the way I was spoken to tonight.
I get there are rules and regulations to everything but we aren’t talking about 45 mins here, we are talking about 4 minutes and it was due to their website being slow. I find it really hard to believe that there is nothing they can do considering they have no problem honoring expired Kohl’s cash 10 days after and yet I can’t even get what I was promised because of a 4 minute difference? Which again, wasn’t my fault. The customer service here is lacking. They are all a bunch of smug jerks who barely even listen to what you’re saying. Over it and don’t plan to do any more shopping here, especially if this situation isn’t rectified. Shame on you Kohl’s for letting your reps treat your customers this way. I plan on continuing to file a complaint because at this point it isn’t even over the dang Kohl’s cash anymore, it’s about the way I was spoken to, hung up on, and treated. Terrible!

I asked how to file a formal complaint with Kohl's and she told me to call customer service Monday (Cyber Monday) because they were probably really busy during Black Friday weekend. I waited until early evening on Monday to call and waited on hold for 45 minutes to be told by the representative that there was nothing they could do, the vacuum was not in stock. I insisted I wanted to talk to someone who could make this right because my order was held up by them, while they sold the vacuum to someone else.
After much insistence, I was transferred to someone in the fraud department (or so the person said). He seemed very helpful, told me he would give me a reference number and when the item was available again, I could call and get it at the same price I had ordered it at and all coupons, etc. would be honored. Miraculously, the vacuum was available again Tuesday (seems a bit suspicious to me). I called customer service, waiting on hold for 30 minutes, then spent the next 15 minutes waiting while the representative put the order in again. She came up with the same total as the original order, then I told her I was supposed to get Kohl's cash as well. She said it is system generated and since there were no Kohl's cash campaign at the time, she couldn't give it to me. I insisted the last person guaranteed I would get everything I was supposed to get. She didn't care and stated her supervisor confirmed they could do nothing about it.
She said a new Kohl's cash campaign begins on 11/29 if I wanted to wait and order then. I asked to speak to the original person who provided me the reference number and was transferred around, being told they don't know how to find the person out of three call centers. I asked if they could identify who created the reference number and was then told they would see if that person was in. Of course, he was not, but they would leave him a message and have him call me the following day - if he is in. I have not received a call, so I'm guessing that will not happen. I told multiple representatives that this is a deal breaker for me and they will lose me as a customer. They don't care. Like many other reviewers on here, I lost out on other sales while I tried to work this out with Kohl's. I will be taking my business elsewhere after this experience.

I ordered a pair of ugg boots (size 8 women’s) online on Black Friday. Everything was okay. Was only charged once unlike the other reviews I’ve read. The problem is that when I received my order on 11/27/2018 there were Apt. 9 men’s size 10.5 dress shoes in the box instead of the ugg boots. So the customer service rep was awesome and refunded my money but the ugg boots are now out of stock so no ugg boots for my daughter’s Christmas present. Plus whoever packaged them from the warehouse removed the return shipment label off of the invoice.

which add up to the $166.01 you had charged me already.
I contacted Kohl's via online chat. It became apparent pretty quickly that I was speaking to Vincent the "bot" as I kept receiving multiple canned and repetitive answers, in no way responding to my actual questions. However, bot Vincent was kind enough to let me know that all unauthorized charges would be reversed within 72 hours, that he would "resent" my $45 Kohl's cash via email and that I would receive 100 points (for what I don't know...). BTW I never received that 'res-sent' email. This morning I've noticed yet another additional authorization from Kohl's towards my checking account of $29.48. I've decided to call. I first spoke to Michael who was as polite and nice as he was unable to assist with anything else but apologies and letting me know that now I would need to wait up to 10 days (no 72 hours) to see the authorizations removed.
I asked to speak to his Supervisor and was transferred to "Alma" who echoed everything that Michael had told me already. By then I was on the phone for 45 minutes. I asked "Alma" to let me speak to her superior and she informed me that nobody else is on the floor and that she only could transfer me to another supervisor. Running out of options I agreed for her to do so. About 10 minutes later after being on hold, I was thrown back into the queue and ended up with a young lady who was a front line employee with no knowledge of anything I just had discussed for the past 55 minutes.
I asked her to transfer me to HER supervisor and understanding that also she had to follow protocol struggled for another 10 minutes going through all the things I've repeatedly had to go through for now over an hour. Finally, I spoke to Supervisor Stacey who to no surprise was just as unable (?) to appease a very frustrated NEW customer of yours to resolve this situation. This is still unresolved. I am not accepting the fact that I am left with authorization blocking my funds for the next 10 days before the holidays. I have tweeted, sent to FB, sent an email to them but so far only hear "we are sorry for your frustration"... DON'T SHOP AT KOHL'S!!!

I was very excited to go Black Friday shopping and saw that Kohl's was starting early so I decided to go on Kohls.com and see the deals. Well I see that the pants that I wanted were on sale for 14.99 and using a promo code id get them for even cheaper. I was excited! The ending total was $68.95. Charged to my bank on 11/22/18. I wake up to go shopping again for Black Friday and see that Kohl's charged my card another time for $68.95. I spent 30mins trying to get a rep and when I finally do he opens the order and the phone hangs up.
So I spent another 30 mins trying to get another rep on the phone. I finally do and no one can seem to help me. No one knows what's going on. No one sees the double charge. I spent my whole Thanksgiving break calling Kohl's and still nothing can be resolved. I wake up Monday 11/26 to Kohl's charging me another time but this time for $27.58 because apparently 3 of the items weren't in stock so they were only going to charge me the $27.58. So now it's 11/28 and Kohl's has yet to give me back the 2 transactions for $68.95 totaling $137.90. The bank says there's nothing they can do until Kohl's releases the money so the bank can file a claim and give me the funds back! this is ridiculous and this totally ruined my entire online shopping experience. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM KOHL'S ONLINE EVER AGAIN!!! (Oh ya and they tried to offer me $10 off my next Kohls.com purchase wtheck! What makes y'all think I'd ever order from y'all again! Never.)

Didn't encounter any issues, got my invoice, everything looked great and went to bed. I woke up the next day to check on my bank account and they double charged me for my order. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone trying to reach out to them. Once I did, they never admitted it was their mistake. After I got furious and was transferred to a supervisor, they acknowledge it was a system error and they couldn't do anything about it, that the system fixes itself??? And I needed to wait 7 business days for that. That was my rent money. I spent the amount of money I had on my daughter's gifts and couldn't afford to get double charged. How is it they don't have a manual void option for this type of situation??? This is unacceptable. Never buying from them again.

I tried to buy a comforter from Kohl's Henrietta store and they deducted money from my account and the lady at the checkout counter did not pay attention to the screen when my transaction was successful and she made me swipe my card again but due to their system's fault, the transaction did not go through the second time but I lost my money and did not get my comforter either. The store manager was rude and did not answer properly and I am not getting enough help from customer care either. So, would recommend not to trust Kohl's transaction methods or their customer service because once you lose your money, there are very less chances that you will get it back. Very disappointed with the service.

After waiting on hold for over 20 minutes, I was placed through to a representative who informed me that my order was potentially fraudulent and that the system had placed it on hold due to this and she needed to verify my information. After verifying everything, she said that the order would be pushed through to fulfillment and everything was good. The next morning, my order was CANCELLED! stating that the item was not in stock. My husband and I stayed up until 12:01 am on November 22 to take advantage of the Black Friday sale Kohl's was having. We made three separate orders trying to make sure we purchased the items before they sold out. One of the three orders contained a Playstation VR and an Instant Pot. We received order confirmations for all three orders.
On November 23, we received an email stating the order containing the Playstation VR and Instant Pot could not be completed and we would need to contact Kohl's at 888-890-1755 to discuss the next steps. We called the number as soon as we saw the e-mail and received a message stating the office wasn't open. On 3 separate occasions we attempted to call the number listed and sat on hold for 45+ minutes each time without ever reaching a representative.
I was able to locate a different phone number last night (11/27) and was determined to wait it out. After over an hour of waiting, a representative answered and promptly transferred me to someone in the security/fraud department who basically confirmed our order had been canceled and stated the Playstation VR was in stock and that he could initiate a new order on the Playstation VR, but at full price. I stated that I wasn't interested in order it at full price considering we'd made our initial order during the Black Friday sale and it was canceled by Kohl's and not at our request. He said he had no authority to make those changes and transferred me back to customer service where I sat on hold for another 20-30 minutes.
The representative that finally answered went through the same story again, placed me on hold twice, and told me that the deal was only available on Black Friday and it was against Kohl's policy to reduce the price to meet that. I told her the same thing I'd told the previous agent- I was not interested in purchasing it at full price since the order had been canceled by Kohl's for unknown reasons and we had not been able to reach a representative during the Black Friday sale to correct the issue. She told me she would attempt to do a price adjustment, but she could not guarantee that it would go through. In the middle of me asking how long it would take to find out whether the order went through, our phone call abruptly ended.
I called back to try to finish the conversation and sat on hold for another 30+ minutes before deciding that it was too much frustration. I would not have ordered from them had I known how their customer service ran. I ended up missing Best Buy's Cyber Monday sale where they had the same item at the same price Kohl's did on Black Friday because I was trying to resolve the issue with Kohl's. Lesson learned and I hate to read that other people had this same issue happen.

I, like many other customers, decided to get all my Christmas shopping done on Cyber Monday for the extra Kohl's cash as well as the bonus deals online. I woke up this morning to two separate charges on my bank account. I called the Kohl's helpline and they told me that they are having an issue with the orders that require an in-store pickup. I was charged for the full amount as well as an amount excluding the in-store pickup. I was told that as soon as I pick up my item and receive the items I purchased, that the incorrect charge would be dropped. I am not supposed to receive the items until December 7th, which is two weeks that I won't have that money in my bank account.
I went further by calling my bank and they said that it would take a maximum of 10 business days for the charges to be returned because of the steps it takes to submit a fraudulent claim. I do not blame my bank, because that is just how things work. Kohl's needs to be held directly responsible for the double charges. I only entered my card once, I only authorized one purchase, and I expected this mistake to be fixed directly by Kohl's. This is the last time that I will be purchasing online, because there is absolutely no reason why I should have been charged twice, and even less of a reason as to why I was not IMMEDIATELY refunded.

I bought a Tekgear fleece from a table that had a can't miss large red sign Sale $9.99. The table was at the front of the row with this sign. I purchase the item and $9.99. I go back the next day around 5 pm and got another one, same sign of course. No issue until the item rang up $11.99. I didn't notice it until I went to the car, so I went back in to the customer service desk and was told that the item was just on the wrong table and since it rang up $11.99 that is what I have to pay. The woman said for me to be careful and read the fine print on the signs. Of course the item was not on the wrong table however I went back to the table, which was on the complete other side of the store.
I see the same can't miss large red sign $9.99 and as I didn't notice there was even a smaller gray sign saying item price $20 50%, the large red sign just draws in your attention lol. I go over to the register I paid and a girl offered to assist. She went over to the table and saw both signs. She went with me back to the customer service desk and after waiting in the line, a woman who just was off to the side doing nothing, she came from a back little room wasn't looking at us but the cashier with me got her attention. She explained both signs and showed her my receipt. The woman started saying that the cashier needs to tell them about the signs. The girl said to the woman but she thought it was $9.99 when she bought it though.
The woman didn't want to do anything and just starts saying that she should not have left her area to help me because she has customers. I being shocked just started getting agitated and just said that she was trying to help me, there was no one else around plus I had been up here before. She asked me who I spoke to and when I pointed the woman out, she didn't say anything, just standing there looking irate herself. I said again that she was helping me. The woman then says to me that she knows that but she works on the other side of the store. The cashier with me straight out said to the woman that she needs to honor the price and the woman still standing there simply would not say or do anything.
I finally said now after this has been going on over a half an hour, between this and walking back and forth to the table, that I do not have all day. Finally someone called a manager. Some guy comes over and seemed unprofessional from the beginning. He did say that he did not know why they didn't just call a manager but he seemed to not grasp how bad the interaction was. Then of course as I suggested, we both walk to the opposite side of the store again to look at the signs. He then at a register is attempting to credit me the $2.00 difference finally but was having trouble. He then said that he will just credit me back the $11.99 so that I do not have to worry about this.
It still seemed odd as he didn't seem interested in how bad this customer service and even what the issue with the signs were etc. In then calling the store a few days later, the assistant store manager said that he was the one who assisted that day. He said it was handled, when I asked how, he became agitated and said that he spoke to the woman and said to me that I could have asked for a manager at any time. The customer service made no attempt each time I was up there to contact the dept. to check the price or contact a mgr. He starts to say, "Let me tell you how this is going to go." I said, "Let me tell you that this is being brought to the attention of the District mgr. and Corporate."
On top of this, I call again and speak to a mgr. about the sale etc. she said the item is even $9.99 with the same signs that were there since the first time. Yet she was saying there had been a one day sale when I bought the first fleece and the next day it was $11.99 then went back down to $9.99 the next day. This sounded so crazy and as the one mgr. said she went to check the sale information she never came back to the phone. Another mgr. comes to the phone and during this 2 hour call, as this crazy mgr. was saying things to me about the customer service experience and assistant store mgr. experience that were not even accurate. She said that I cursed at him and that was the worst thing someone could do.
She said the women attempted to contact the dept. but there was no answer, when each time neither woman even attempted to do so, if they had it wouldn't have escalated to this point. She then says, "I'm sorry you were in a hurry that day." She sounded nuts. A woman from the Corporate Headquarters calls and just leaves a message that she can provide the sale information to me. Through the Better Business Bureau they said that they will credit me $5 for the issue. Then they said that Kohl's has the right to change the sales at any time. They could not seem to grasp that the signs were showing the opposite of the what the item rang up even though it was explained.
Even if they had the sign as $11.99 the next day, the other signs were then put back for the $9.99 just the next day and remained. Even another Kohl's had the large red sign and smaller gray one indicating $9.99 5 days later. I don't even think it was supposed to be $11.99 for any reason yet they just don't want to admit that this was a mistake on top of the terrible customer service. So just providing a non specific response to me from the Corporate Headquarters and $5 is Ok. Honestly how terrible!

My family and I visited the Kohl's located in Secaucus, NJ on 11/23/18. I checked out on line 12, and immediately upon exiting the front door I realized my cell phone was missing. We returned to checkout and asked the cashier at line 12 if she found my phone. She said no. We then went to customer service to see if any staff or shoppers had found my phone and left it with them. They also said no. I searched around the areas where I had been shopping and returned to the cash registers, where I asked aloud 'Did anyone find a phone?' The manager and all cashiers denied finding anything.
Then my husband started repeatedly calling my phone, which could only be heard above the commotion because of its uncommonly loud ring for missed calls, which I keep at maximum volume because I am deaf in one ear. Being Black Friday, it was very crowded and the noise of the crowds made locating the source of the ring harder, but my son managed to hear it, noticing it was nearby and not traveling - so a customer on the move could not have it. The manager admitted she could hear the ring, but expressed noticeable intolerance at our efforts and proceeded with business as usual. After following the ring to a cashier about two lines away from where we checked out, we proceeded to investigate and found her response to be unusually confrontational.
Not wanting to level a false accusation, I called my phone an additional 32 times, each time noticing the ring is coming directly from the vicinity of the angry cashier. Our persistence finally convinced the manager to open the cashier's drawer, where my phone was discovered. (I know, I should have called the police, but I didn't.) The manager said she would address the problem. I asked for a corporate number numerous times and was finally given a number that turned out to be a general Kohl's directory which could not lead me to any complaints department. I called corporate offices, executive branch, on 11/23 but could only leave a message; I have not heard back since.
I am a 60-year-old cancer survivor who is deaf in one ear and even I could hear the phone, but I still have problems with the direction of sound. If my son was not there, insisting it was coming from that precise spot, I don't believe the manager would have ever investigated the drawer. Everyone was ignoring us until it became so obvious that an employee had stole it. Since this occurred right at the registers, they must have surveillance footage of the whole incident. And since I checked out about two aisles away from the place where the phone was finally found, it's puzzling how it could have found its way there.

Honestly I think she just told me that to get off the phone because we went back-and-forth for an hour and 30 minutes.
At this point I'm completely frustrated and I told her just cancel my credit card at this point and then she told me, "Ma'am I'm sorry. I don't have the authorization to cancel your Card." Which obviously makes me even more mad because you can put a restriction on my card even the where of a 0 balance and a credit limit of a $300. I completely paid off my card yet I have a restriction but I was not message. Not emailed. No one called me about it but you can't even cancel my credit card.
So I get off the phone with her. I go to the store. The Kohl's store in Folsom California. The women there who is my cashier Jeanne was amazing. SHE got the verification code on her screen and was asked to call a number. The guy on the other side of the phone WANTED my ID. I gave him everything and he said, "Hold on. I'm transferring you" and transferred THE sales associate to the credit card department that was currently closed so not only did you put me on hold for 45 minutes you put your own sales associate on hold for another 30 minutes when you know damn well they were closed. She couldn't do anything for me. The manager couldn't do anything for me and I was asked to call today. I have called 3 times and I have been put on hold for 15 or more minutes.
I want to know what the ** is going on before I put my experience all over social media. I am never at that point to where I want to put a terrible customer review but I'm about to and I need someone to help me with my account ASAP. I only have the weekend and Mondays off to get shopping done and I work full time and I have 2 kids. I don't have time to be wasting it on the phone waiting for someone to help me with my account. I ALSO HAVE CALL RECORDING AND HAVE EVERYTHING ON CALL RECORDING!!!

Ordered the Xbox ONE X 1TB with PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Digital Download Game Bundle at 1:01 AM from Kohls Black Friday online door-buster sale. Received confirmation email and passed over many other offers the same day for a good deal. 10 PM, I get a cancellation notice as the product is no longer available. Keep in mind, this was still an item showing available until my last look being 2 PM in the afternoon. Fast forward to Monday the 26th, they have the same exact bundle back online at full price for your shopping convenience. Never have I seen such a blatant dodge of a store's own sale ad just to lure people in for other purchases. I find it hard to believe that their inventory spiked over the weekend so this definitely has fraud written all over it.

I placed a total of 6 orders ranging from 11/23 through 11/24/2018 Black Friday and the weekend sales. Some of my items were cancelled days after the order was put in even after they charged me and confirmed my orders. My bank account has been double charged. I call customer service. They are no help. One item that was cancelled was still in stock and could not answer why they cancelled it. If you have multiple items in one order and they cancel items in that order they charge you again for what they ship out even though the previous amount was already charged.
Online ordering is horrible. Customer service will not honor Black Friday prices, failed to tell the consumer earlier so we could shop sales else where. They led us to believe our orders were safe after receiving order numbers and being charged. They take our money only to cancel our orders thus tying up our banks with on hold purchases we are not getting. I called the corporate number and was pushed right to voice mail... never again will I online order on Black Friday. If they can not fill orders accordingly they should offer these items as in store only and not online.

I went on Kohls.com for a few black Friday deals and purchase 57.30 worth of items. I made sure that all items said they were being shipped. I got an email this morning that my boots are ready to be picked up in another state... WHAT?!?! I called customer service and the woman said "my suggestion is to be more careful when choosing your options online." WHAT?!?! She said I have to contact the store and get a refund. I asked to speak with a manager and she said no one was available. I told her that I will never shop at Kohl's again and will be writing about my experience. She said, "That is fine," and asked if she could do anything else for me... what did you do for me already? NOTHING!
So I called the store and they told me it was a glitch on the website and this happened to many people... wouldn't that have been nice to know when calling customer service! Then they said they will refund me and I can go back online and purchase them... "so I won't get the bf discount". She said "no you won't." She did say they are having a meeting and will see if she can ship me my boots. Next I checked my credit card statement... I was charge 4 times for the same charge from Kohl's. WHAT?!?! I see online this is also happening to a lot of people and no one is helping online or on the phone. I had my bank take off the charges but I am unhappy. I would rate Kohl's a negative 5 stars!!! Their quality has also suffered and will never purchase there again.

I am a Kohl's charge customer. I shop at Kohl's ALL THE TIME. However, I had an awful Black Friday experience and need to share. I purchased the Farberware 14-pc Cutlery set which was listed on the Black Friday Ad for $29.99 with a $10 mail in rebate. I was charged $59.99. Now this was the ONLY 14-pc set on their website, I know because I have the app and had this particular item in my shopping cart waiting for 5pm on Thursday. I had double and triple checked to make sure I had the right one. After being charged the $59.99 I go to the nearby store, I'm told I need to call kohls.com customer service. I do so and they tell me there is nothing they can do because they are still in "sale" mode. So they cannot adjust prices. I give it 2 days and called back yesterday. The first lady told me it was never advertised for that price, the supervisor I spoke to after that then told me that she could not view the Black Friday AD?!? You're kidding me right?
A supervisor has not access to the current sales AD? She then tells me that I need to email customer service. I do so. With screenshots of my order and the Black Friday AD. Then I get an email from customer service saying the product I ordered was not the one on sale, and I wrote back saying this was the ONLY 14-pc Farberware set on their website. I am beyond aggravated with the false advertising and the ignorance I received from customer service. When the product comes in, I will return and pay off my card and never shop there again! I waited to buy this as a gift and this is what I deal with? And then I'm reading all these scams on here. Makes me want to check my charge statements a little more closely. Highly disappointed and will be sure to spread the word on how I was treated. Even with a call to the BBB!

Kohl's has been ripping off their customers by double charging them for purchases made online and refuses to release from the double charge, despite already having the funds to pay for the item. When calling customer service, they continually make excuses as to why they will not release the funds they have placed on HOLD from the second fraudulent fund withdrawal. If you visit this site: https://www.consumeraffairs.com/retail/kohls.html.
You will see that this is happening to so many people over the country and everyone is furious that they are taking double charges and not releasing the second charge. This seems very fraudulent and is ruining so many people’s shopping experience. I have 3 kids and I’m on a very tight budget and they will still not release the extra funds they took which I need to feed my kids for the week. When I explained this to customer services, they just continually give me the runaround.
Given the fact that Kohl’s is a very high profile retail outlet, people should be made aware that they are no better than a ‘fly-by-night’ company and I believe that people should be made aware and since they don’t seem to be worried about doing the right thing and return the money to their customers in a timely manner, they should at the very least be hurt in the court of public opinion. Please help us make this corporate fraud brought to light.

I recently made an online purchase Thanksgiving night for 123.61. Well, come to find out, they charged my bank account twice! WTH? When I called customer service, they stated that I needed to call my bank and ask them to take off restrictions on one of the withdrawals. They made this sound like this is common. I”m sorry, I don’t purchase online to have to pay double and then not get credited back, but have to spend days and hours on the phone with my bank, creating a claim to get my money back that Kohl’s.com took that they weren’t entitled to. All they kept telling me as that the additional charge was on hold? On hold for what??
You clearly took it out of my bank account and my items were already shipped to my house? Why would you have to hold an additional 123.61, when you were paid that amount already. In my mind, a very poorly run system. I sure hope that all customers don’t have to pay double their total for every online purchase and then have to spend hours/days trying to get it back!

Be warned! On back of receipt it states "Hassle-Free Returns". That is a LIE. On 11/20/18 I paid for a pair of Nike sneakers that were defective. I called the store on 11/23 to ask what their return policy was. The girl in the shoe department asked if I had the receipt. I did. She said there would be NO trouble returning them. I also told her I paid by CHECK. She still re-affirmed that would not be an issue.
The next morning I brought the shoes with original box/packaging, the receipt and a copy of my canceled check, to the customer service desk. The girl at the counter typed in the information then asked if I'd paid by check. I told her that I had, and had a copy of my bank check letting her know that Kohl's had already charged my account. She then stated that it would take 14 BUSINESS DAYS TO RETURN MY MONEY ($64.19). I told her that I'd spoken to a person in the shoe department the day before who told me that I would be able to return the shoes with no problems on reimbursement. She still argued that it would take 14 days. I asked to speak to a manager.
The manager, a man named Jesse, showed up behind the counter. He stated it would need to be..."checked out". I told him the same thing I had told Lisa (the clerk). He then said it was company policy. I asked where, on the back of the receipt, does it state ANYWHERE that there was a 14 DAY WAIT ON REIMBURSEMENT IF PAID BY CHECK?!! He couldn't answer of course, BECAUSE THERE IS NO PLACE ON THE RECEIPT STATING THAT POLICY. Which means, they LIED.
The clerk, Lisa, then tried to blame it on the 'temp' help that was hired for the holidays. Unbelievable!! Instead of owning it, apologizing and reimbursing me, they continued to pass the blame off first on the innocent person on the phone, who WASN'T TRAINED PROPERLY ON RETURN POLICIES if that's even true (14 day issue). Then, the manager Jesse, tries to get me to purchase ANOTHER pair of sneakers, as if I'd trust that store, and their defective sneakers, again!
After approximately 20 minutes of arguing with them, Jesse making phone calls, showing my drivers license TWICE, the manager filling out a form, I FINALLY GOT REIMBURSED the $64.19 owed to me that THEY TOOK OUT IMMEDIATELY FROM MY ACCOUNT 3 DAYS PRIOR TO THIS WHOLE FIASCO. Oh, and did I forget to mention that I had to drive an hour to get this reimbursement? Also, if the girl on the other end of the line had been trained properly, I would have patiently waited the 14 days (if that's actually their policy), and THEN returned the sneakers.
So, Kohl's, train your personnel better, and take RESPONSIBILITY when you don't! This is KOHL's fault! Also, make it CLEAR on the receipt your return policy when paying by CHECK!!! And, is it true that your customers have to wait 14 DAYS to get their money reimbursed when YOU TAKE THEIR MONEY FROM THEIR ACCOUNTS IMMEDIATELY??! By the way, not for nothing, but did you know other stores will give you an immediate reimbursement right at the register so long as you have the receipt?! Bed and Bath for instance! Just saying!

I log into my account and pick the one I want and check out. I give my card number and hit complete order. I get an error message and a phone number to call. I call that number and here's where it gets bizarre.
Customer service rep informs me my card number is invalid. I'm looking at the card. But he can't give me any information about it. Needless to say my purchase isn't happening. I have never requested a new card nor have I received one. I call the number on the back of the card. It's no longer Kohl's. I look online for a customer service number. There isn't one unless you click on link after link in FAQs. I find a number and call it. Office closed. Outsourcing anyone? It's gotta be tomorrow somewhere. So I look for an email for customer service. Gotta log in. Okiedokie. Enter everything. Nope. I check where I have it written down and enter it exactly. Not so much. Now the account is locked and I need a card number to get a new password. BUT THE CARD IS INVALID!!
So I called the customer service number hidden in the FAQs. Heaven forbid the number was displayed in a more prominent place so you aren't ready to unleash your wrath on the unsuspecting person unfortunate to answer and try to help. Makes no sense. Anyway. I go through the automated prompts again and realized I have a balance. By the way they matched the last four of my social to the phone I was calling from.
So now I find out I have a balance and I never received a bill. I bought something back in September or October and paid the balance on the receipt. But since I never got a bill I had to guess when it was due. Oh and my account log in had never worked for online. Every time I try to log in I get locked out and have to request the information again. This time I can't because the card is invalid. Confused? Welcome to the Kohl's charge.
So Friday I had no chance of calling customer service. I had to work. So Saturday I called and gave the lady all of this information and she says "ok so the problem is that you can't make a purchase online". No. My problem is that my card is invalid, I have never received a bill, apparently I have a balance of $2 because I got charged a late fee because I didn't get a bill, I can't log into my account because the card is invalid, and...oh yeah customer service is no help.
So I suggested we start with when was a new account number issued. She said there wasn't a new account issued. She asked me for the card number. Well, since I can't use the card, why would I carry it with me. I asked about the balance. She said there was one. I asked about the late fee. She said there was one. I told her that's not right because I never got a bill and I also overpaid anyway. She again asked for the card number. At this point I hang up. I don't feel I should be charged a late fee, but I will pay the remaining $2 and change to never have to deal with Kohl's again. Needless to say I didn't get my Fitbit because the other stores running similar deals were sold out and I couldn't take advantage of the miles deal. But hey I saved money. I guess Kohl's really does save its customers' money.

When I phoned, I got some girl in the Philippines, who hemmed and hawed and put me on hold; then finally came back and said it was "to be sure I have the money in my account for my order." I said, "That makes no sense, because they already charged my account for the $75!" Then she said it was "to be sure I picked up the order in the store." Again, that defies logic, because if I paid for the merchandise, then failed to pick it up, Kohl's would still come out AHEAD.
When I demanded the $63 returned to my account, I was told it would take "7 to 10 business days AFTER I pick up my order to be returned." Well, they have until December 4th for some of my stuff to arrive for pick up at the store, so that means they're keeping my money for approximately 3 weeks?! I will never shop at Kohl's again. The online customer service is absolutely horrible. I was in the middle of placing my order last night. I had 33 items in my cart. I updated my personal information, saved it, then went to submit my order and all my prices instantly changed. My $90.00 dollars in Kohl’s cash was gone, not even showing that I had earned anything. This was at 10 pm Pacific Time. I then called customer service and held on the phone from 10:09 pm until well after 11 pm. When the agent finally came on she stated that they were not able to adjust any prices and that is how their system works. That I would need to run my card for the new price that was showing and in 48 hours they could go back and look at the order.
I then asked to speak to a supervisor and the girl was adamant about not putting a supervisor on the phone. I again made my numerous requests for a supervisor and she finally placed me on hold for a few minutes. The supposed supervisor came on and her voice was the same as the representative. I pointed this out and she assured me that she was a different person. I still do not believe it. She stated that there was nothing they could do to fix the prices so I informed them that I will be contacting Kohl’s Corporate Office as well as filing complaints with the FTC and the BBB.
When a customer is checking out the price in their cart should not change under any reason. They have a term for that and it is called price gouging! My cart was not abandoned. I was checking out at that exact moment. Seriously Kohl’s what a dishonest way to do business! I had well over $300.00 dollars in my cart and now I will take my money elsewhere and never shop at A Kohl’s store again.

As some background information: In the past, I have gone to a jewelry cashier because I didn't think it was allowed outside of the department. Every time I went up there to buy something, much like the really cheap jewelry on sale, they always served me and have been respectful. Now that I am a senior in high school, and have done this for years, I went to do the same thing again. I am not from here first of all, but I go here an awful lot because it's the closest Kohl's I have. On November 23, Black Friday (BUSIEST TIME OF THE YEAR) I was there to shop with my mother and grandmother. My mother really wanted a specific ring and I wanted to buy it for her for Christmas. When I picked it up (without her knowing), I went to get a ticket and waited.
I waited for a full hour before it was my turn to get the special jewelry for my mother. The first two ladies in front of me had other stuff too and had jewelry from the surrounding area, NOT FROM THE CASE, and bought it while they were there. But when I went up there to pay, the woman at the cash register told me that she could not serve me.
When I asked why, she said that she just spoke to her manager and he told her to not cash anything other than the jewelry from the case. I asked her why she took the ladies' other stuff and jewelry that they did not buy from the case. She said it was because they waited so long. By this time, I was close to tears and I asked if I could pay. She refused and told me that it was part of Kohl's policy, THE FIRST TIME I'VE HEARD ABOUT SUCH A THING! I was furious and slammed down the box and yelled at her. It wasn't the appropriate thing to do, but after waiting a full hour to pay for a ring I was going to give to my mother and watching the other ladies (who were very nice to me) get served, got to me.
I left that store CRYING! With my grandmother by my side since she wanted to see how I was doing. My grandmother was so angry that she called the manager and waited ten minutes (Because you know, it's Black Friday). When she finally talked to the manager, she was really nice at first and asked if he could put up a sign. But then he started yelling at her and said that she should've known such a policy. My grandmother is like me. She's not from the location and has always been served at the jewelry cash register even if none of the jewelry was from the case and no matter the location she went to.
Instead of being an appropriate manager, the manager never once apologized. Never ONCE! I have worked in the fast food service and have never experienced a manager that yelled at someone for simply asking to put up an extra sign to tell young people like me. I am just very displeased by the fact I was not served because I'm a young person who's been served like this my entire life only to be slammed down at the worst possible moment. I'm not going to this store any time soon because of this irresponsible event. I give this store a one star because we tried to be nice when complaining and they ended up yelling at us and the fact that I wasn't served when I was waiting just as long as the two ladies.

I recently received an email telling me that my PS4 Spider-Man bundle was canceled. Kohl's sent me a flyer to my house with the Black Friday door buster sales. It told me it would be available online at 12:01 AM central time. I signed up for an account and entered my credit card information 2 days prior in order to streamline my late night purchase. I set an alarm and patiently waited by the computer. I happened to notice other websites offering the same $199.99 offer, but thought I would stick with Kohl's because my account was set up and ready to go. The purchase went through and I was delighted.
Tonight (24 hours later) I received an email which gave me a very poor explanation to why my order was canceled. I am extremely dissatisfied with this entire experience and feel Kohl's should make restitution on this mistake. I would have purchased it from another site, but it is too late now. I can't even find the units online for less than $500. I believe a fair response from Kohl's would be to issue me a rain check for the same unit for the previous $199.99 price. I consider the current state of our business to be unacceptable.
They sent me an apology email. Here it is. "I'm contacting you today from Kohls.com regarding your issue on your order. I do apologize for the inconvenienced that this issue have caused you. I already checked the order details and it showed that the item "PlayStation 4 1TB Marvel's Spider-Man Bundle " was already out of stock and I can't offer a replacement for the said item.
What I can do for you is that I can honor the same sale price for the item if it was already back into our stocks. If you see at Kohl's website that the said item was already at our stocks, please email again for Kohl's to assist you into this issue." Problem is that they will discontinue that bundle. I have scrolled down and there are other VERY similar stories. SHAME ON YOU KOHL'S!! ROTTEN SCAMMERS. Well I'm off to Target. P.S. I would have checked 0 stars but 1 was the minimum. Happy Holidays everyone and stay away from KOHL'S.

Beware of your money with this company!!! I ordered $117.28 some pickup and some delivered. (This became the worst mistake and realized how corrupt this company is) Right after making my purchase I checked my bank account to see what my new balance was. I had approx. $83 and change. Later on in the morning, I received a text from my bank giving me my balance. My balance was not close to the $83. So I logged in to find out that there was another charge from Kohl's for $53.13 (Not authorized). I called Kohl's right away to find out what was happening, did someone steal my card info and try to order from there too? Close, the company itself stole the money.
They are also trying to say it’s not them it’s the bank that is charging it. (The bank won’t just hold/pend something unless the company tells them to, as if there was a purchase). Kohl's also said that they would hold that money until I go in and pick up my items. The amount of my purchases being picked up was not even close to the $53.13, (so where they got that number I am not sure); But that $53.13 was because I made the choice to pick up some items. I picked up my items asap so I could get my money back. It did go back the $53.13 BUT they split up my transaction; pickups, delivery -- Making 2 transactions $46.66 and $64.15 = $110.81, the difference I am to assume is 1 from the ship to store item, which was approx. $7. That amount has yet to hit my account for a hard post and is not pending either, but it's available for pick up.
The company is fully aware of the fraud that they are doing, and the only reason they probably aren’t getting in trouble is because the non-authorized amounts never hard post to the account and it’s hard to file fraud or push more when something just pends. This type of fraud can screw someone up really bad, and there is no one to help them if this company takes everything they have and then some. They won’t pay for overdraft fees, or late payment fees of bills you have to pay; if they hold your money until you get the items from the store. Don’t get yourself screwed over by shopping with Kohl's because. I am a more fortunate one that they didn't pull more money than authorized then. They did for some people.

I placed an online order on Black Friday and received confirmation from Kohls.com as well. After 40 hours I received an email stating that one item is not available so we are canceling your order. It's big flaw in Kohls.com online orders. With their available stock only they are supposed to accept orders but the reality is reversed. At the end it's disappointment for people who ordered online and get the response that your order or partially canceled. It's the second incident for me. I am not sure rest of other items in that order will be shipped, there is no guarantee if you place an order in Kohls.com.

I think this is completely ridiculous and unprofessional that my order was modified this late in the process and cancelled about two days after my order was placed for Black Friday. Because of your poor management and false marketing of products you do not have. I refuse to do business with Kohl's any further.

I'm beyond upset and feel that Kohl's stolen my money today. Over $600.00 worth of money that they took from my bank account that I did not give them my permission. I was on the phone the first time and told me that they charged me twice and I what it removed. After 45 mins on the phone with them. Customer service told me it will take 10 days and they can take and hold any amount they want. Right, after that I checked my account they TOOK more money!!! I couldn't believe my eyes when I was looking at my account. I went to my bank to cancel my card so they couldn't take anymore. My whole day was ruin and they took over $600.00 extra out of my account that was for my Christmas shopping for my sick mom.
I can't believe they are allow to steal and take people money. I agreed for the amount I purchase not an extra $600.00 from my banking account. I called them the second time and the supervisor told me to deal with it and hang up the phone. I will be contacting the General Attorney Office in Boston. This is a crime and needs to be stop. When my packages do arrive I will go straight to the store and return everything!!! It's a disgrace stealing and making interest on OUR money. No STARS AT ALL.

I ordered 5 items today during the Black Friday sale. Wasn’t trying to tackle the crowds if I didn’t have to. My purchase came to $109.55. Part of my order was being shipped to my address and the other to the store which is across the street from my home. I checked my bank account and notice there was an additional charge of $71.07. I call customer service just like other customers and just blatantly got lied too. I told the representative I didn’t give them authorization to draft the additional money out of my account. Asked to speak with a manager on 2 separate calls. Second time after being on hold for more than 30 minutes. This is ridiculous for this to be happening. I was told it just started today but due to a previous review back around Nov 14 that’s not the case. It’ll be a long time before they get my business. Store items canceled already and when I received the shipped items they will be returned. SHOPPERS BEWARE!!!

Last night I got double charged with 2 different charges... Over 300 bucks on Black Friday holiday weekend! Now we have 30 bucks to our name and our weekend is ruined! They said that my bank double charged me and it's because I'm picking up a pair of boots at the store and the rest being shipped. That I had to handle it with my bank! I knew that wasn't true. Called my bank. The rep 3 way called Kohl's and this time they told her they were having issues with their system and updating it. That they can't reverse the charges until another day!

I submitted an online order for a super high demand Black Friday Christmas (PS4 Spiderman bundle) and my order was confirmed - 32 hours later I get an email saying it was canceled. No reason. It says to call a certain phone number to find out why. This super high demand item was over $160 in savings. By 32 hours later, that super high demand item is SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE!!! I could have ordered from other companies within that 32 hour period, but KOHL'S had committed to my order so I hadn’t tried. I spent 2 hours on a call with Kohl’s and they won’t commit to honoring their confirmation.
They say that every order is subject to review and my order was randomly pulled and canceled due to a security verification process. Did they call or email me to verify order - NO - they just canceled it. I specifically asked if Kohl’s was going to honor their advertised price and confirmation for my order and they said no, the item was no longer in stock since the order had been canceled. They offered me a $30 discount on another order - that’s it. I asked them if they would follow through on their advertising and their confirmation email - and they refused. False advertising, lying to customers, and not honoring their commitments. I had been a good customer of Kohl’s for over 8 years.

I was double charged for a online order and when I called to complain they said that they always do that to ensure my account has the money. I said, "So you're telling me you're double charging to see if I have money after you already charged me." I said that's illegal. "Return my money at once." I was already charge for online. She said she can not for 24 to 48 hours. So beware because they will double charge. I went into the store and talked to the store manager and she was in shock that they did that. She stated they are completely different than in store. I ordered online from several places before and have NEVER in my life seen a online store hold my money. I stated to them on the phone, "You are not a hotel that can do that. You got your money and now you are still holding my money." WTF. Don't ever use the online horrible customer service and they will take more money. Please look at your account often as I have.

Called in to order at 12 pm CST as advertised. Gave call back number and waited less than a minute to get called back and got connected immediately. Item was out of stock already!! Believe this to be a totally false ad and am really unsure of the purpose of it as all it has done is piss off a LOT of potential customers??!! Know I will not be shopping there again!

I purchased a treadmill from Kohl's on Thanksgiving 2018, I realized I picked the wrong one and called to cancel the order to which I was told "it was too late", mind you it had only been a few hours since I ordered it. It hadn't left the warehouse since it was Thanksgiving, but they kept telling me I can't cancel the order. Now I have to refuse the order when it arrives at my house and wait that much longer for a refund. I am beyond disappointed with their policy and will NOT order anything online from them again. Worst policy ever!

Went online Thursday morning to order vacuum but was sold out, but stated it was still available for in store pick up. Therefore placed order for in store pickup and paid by credit card. Order went through. Few hours later I received an email that the item would be delayed and I would receive another email when item was ready for pickup. Then several hours later received another email that order has been cancelled. I feel like the stores never looked at their online orders and then once the stores opened and sold out of the vacuums the online orders were cancelled. Kohl's is really a big disappointment.

I saw PS4 Spiderman bundled right in front of me and I approached the cashier to get it. It was a last piece left. Another lady said to the cashier, "No we can’t sell it because it’s reserved for someone with the slip." "THAT SLIP WAS EXPIRED," said the manager (Blake) when I called him from my phone. They ARE BIGGEST LIARS I HAVE EVER HEARD. He also discriminate when I approached him after the call and he said, "We don’t sell Doorbusters items to Indians." That’s WAY PATHETIC SERVICE I HAVE EVER CAME ACROSS. HIS NAME IS “BLAKE”.

I had 17 items in cart. When I hit "checkout" all were gone! I had looked at every item in Black Friday Doorbusters, it took me over an hour. After seeing others on here discussing the issues with trying to call Kohl's I hesitate to do that, I don't really want that hassle.
