First and last time I'm shopping at Kohl's. Placed online order on 11/18/18. Got confirmation and nothing else. Been trying to call their customer service line to find out when the product will ship and no one picks up. 3 separate attempts and I can't get through. My item was supposed to be here today 11/26/18 but it hasn't even shipped yet!

I placed a total of 6 orders ranging from 11/23 through 11/24/2018 Black Friday and the weekend sales. Some of my items were cancelled days after the order was put in even after they charged me and confirmed my orders. My bank account has been double charged. I call customer service. They are no help. One item that was cancelled was still in stock and could not answer why they cancelled it. If you have multiple items in one order and they cancel items in that order they charge you again for what they ship out even though the previous amount was already charged.
Online ordering is horrible. Customer service will not honor Black Friday prices, failed to tell the consumer earlier so we could shop sales else where. They led us to believe our orders were safe after receiving order numbers and being charged. They take our money only to cancel our orders thus tying up our banks with on hold purchases we are not getting. I called the corporate number and was pushed right to voice mail... never again will I online order on Black Friday. If they can not fill orders accordingly they should offer these items as in store only and not online.

I went on Kohls.com for a few black Friday deals and purchase 57.30 worth of items. I made sure that all items said they were being shipped. I got an email this morning that my boots are ready to be picked up in another state... WHAT?!?! I called customer service and the woman said "my suggestion is to be more careful when choosing your options online." WHAT?!?! She said I have to contact the store and get a refund. I asked to speak with a manager and she said no one was available. I told her that I will never shop at Kohl's again and will be writing about my experience. She said, "That is fine," and asked if she could do anything else for me... what did you do for me already? NOTHING!
So I called the store and they told me it was a glitch on the website and this happened to many people... wouldn't that have been nice to know when calling customer service! Then they said they will refund me and I can go back online and purchase them... "so I won't get the bf discount". She said "no you won't." She did say they are having a meeting and will see if she can ship me my boots. Next I checked my credit card statement... I was charge 4 times for the same charge from Kohl's. WHAT?!?! I see online this is also happening to a lot of people and no one is helping online or on the phone. I had my bank take off the charges but I am unhappy. I would rate Kohl's a negative 5 stars!!! Their quality has also suffered and will never purchase there again.

I am a Kohl's charge customer. I shop at Kohl's ALL THE TIME. However, I had an awful Black Friday experience and need to share. I purchased the Farberware 14-pc Cutlery set which was listed on the Black Friday Ad for $29.99 with a $10 mail in rebate. I was charged $59.99. Now this was the ONLY 14-pc set on their website, I know because I have the app and had this particular item in my shopping cart waiting for 5pm on Thursday. I had double and triple checked to make sure I had the right one. After being charged the $59.99 I go to the nearby store, I'm told I need to call kohls.com customer service. I do so and they tell me there is nothing they can do because they are still in "sale" mode. So they cannot adjust prices. I give it 2 days and called back yesterday. The first lady told me it was never advertised for that price, the supervisor I spoke to after that then told me that she could not view the Black Friday AD?!? You're kidding me right?
A supervisor has not access to the current sales AD? She then tells me that I need to email customer service. I do so. With screenshots of my order and the Black Friday AD. Then I get an email from customer service saying the product I ordered was not the one on sale, and I wrote back saying this was the ONLY 14-pc Farberware set on their website. I am beyond aggravated with the false advertising and the ignorance I received from customer service. When the product comes in, I will return and pay off my card and never shop there again! I waited to buy this as a gift and this is what I deal with? And then I'm reading all these scams on here. Makes me want to check my charge statements a little more closely. Highly disappointed and will be sure to spread the word on how I was treated. Even with a call to the BBB!

Kohl's has been ripping off their customers by double charging them for purchases made online and refuses to release from the double charge, despite already having the funds to pay for the item. When calling customer service, they continually make excuses as to why they will not release the funds they have placed on HOLD from the second fraudulent fund withdrawal. If you visit this site: https://www.consumeraffairs.com/retail/kohls.html.
You will see that this is happening to so many people over the country and everyone is furious that they are taking double charges and not releasing the second charge. This seems very fraudulent and is ruining so many people’s shopping experience. I have 3 kids and I’m on a very tight budget and they will still not release the extra funds they took which I need to feed my kids for the week. When I explained this to customer services, they just continually give me the runaround.
Given the fact that Kohl’s is a very high profile retail outlet, people should be made aware that they are no better than a ‘fly-by-night’ company and I believe that people should be made aware and since they don’t seem to be worried about doing the right thing and return the money to their customers in a timely manner, they should at the very least be hurt in the court of public opinion. Please help us make this corporate fraud brought to light.

I recently made an online purchase Thanksgiving night for 123.61. Well, come to find out, they charged my bank account twice! WTH? When I called customer service, they stated that I needed to call my bank and ask them to take off restrictions on one of the withdrawals. They made this sound like this is common. I”m sorry, I don’t purchase online to have to pay double and then not get credited back, but have to spend days and hours on the phone with my bank, creating a claim to get my money back that Kohl’s.com took that they weren’t entitled to. All they kept telling me as that the additional charge was on hold? On hold for what??
You clearly took it out of my bank account and my items were already shipped to my house? Why would you have to hold an additional 123.61, when you were paid that amount already. In my mind, a very poorly run system. I sure hope that all customers don’t have to pay double their total for every online purchase and then have to spend hours/days trying to get it back!

Be warned! On back of receipt it states "Hassle-Free Returns". That is a LIE. On 11/20/18 I paid for a pair of Nike sneakers that were defective. I called the store on 11/23 to ask what their return policy was. The girl in the shoe department asked if I had the receipt. I did. She said there would be NO trouble returning them. I also told her I paid by CHECK. She still re-affirmed that would not be an issue.
The next morning I brought the shoes with original box/packaging, the receipt and a copy of my canceled check, to the customer service desk. The girl at the counter typed in the information then asked if I'd paid by check. I told her that I had, and had a copy of my bank check letting her know that Kohl's had already charged my account. She then stated that it would take 14 BUSINESS DAYS TO RETURN MY MONEY ($64.19). I told her that I'd spoken to a person in the shoe department the day before who told me that I would be able to return the shoes with no problems on reimbursement. She still argued that it would take 14 days. I asked to speak to a manager.
The manager, a man named Jesse, showed up behind the counter. He stated it would need to be..."checked out". I told him the same thing I had told Lisa (the clerk). He then said it was company policy. I asked where, on the back of the receipt, does it state ANYWHERE that there was a 14 DAY WAIT ON REIMBURSEMENT IF PAID BY CHECK?!! He couldn't answer of course, BECAUSE THERE IS NO PLACE ON THE RECEIPT STATING THAT POLICY. Which means, they LIED.
The clerk, Lisa, then tried to blame it on the 'temp' help that was hired for the holidays. Unbelievable!! Instead of owning it, apologizing and reimbursing me, they continued to pass the blame off first on the innocent person on the phone, who WASN'T TRAINED PROPERLY ON RETURN POLICIES if that's even true (14 day issue). Then, the manager Jesse, tries to get me to purchase ANOTHER pair of sneakers, as if I'd trust that store, and their defective sneakers, again!
After approximately 20 minutes of arguing with them, Jesse making phone calls, showing my drivers license TWICE, the manager filling out a form, I FINALLY GOT REIMBURSED the $64.19 owed to me that THEY TOOK OUT IMMEDIATELY FROM MY ACCOUNT 3 DAYS PRIOR TO THIS WHOLE FIASCO. Oh, and did I forget to mention that I had to drive an hour to get this reimbursement? Also, if the girl on the other end of the line had been trained properly, I would have patiently waited the 14 days (if that's actually their policy), and THEN returned the sneakers.
So, Kohl's, train your personnel better, and take RESPONSIBILITY when you don't! This is KOHL's fault! Also, make it CLEAR on the receipt your return policy when paying by CHECK!!! And, is it true that your customers have to wait 14 DAYS to get their money reimbursed when YOU TAKE THEIR MONEY FROM THEIR ACCOUNTS IMMEDIATELY??! By the way, not for nothing, but did you know other stores will give you an immediate reimbursement right at the register so long as you have the receipt?! Bed and Bath for instance! Just saying!

I ordered from kohls.com for sales on Black Friday just like everyone else. I placed one order for 53.12 and it was all being shipped. Nothing was split to pick up. I checked my balance the next day and they charged me twice for the same order! I hear it is to make sure we have the funds. Wtf?? Seriously? You just charged me the amount owed and it went thru. For last 2 times I had real bad experience purchasing from Kohl’s.com. This time I missed all the good deals from other stores during Thanksgiving just for them. I didn’t receive my products that I ordered online from Kohl’s. When I went to pick up my order from the store they say that the order has been canceled when I already have the order number. Customer care also didn’t help. Last year also I faced the similar problem. I’m sure they do not care but I’ll definitely wouldn’t buy from there anymore and I won’t recommend any of my known people to buy from Kohl’s.

Went to Kohl's on Black Friday. They had several good deals I was interested in. I started to wait in the line when the store manager came by to say the wait was about 2 hours. He said that if we didn't want to wait we could order everything online at the same price. I thought this was a great idea but I was wrong. Ordered items online later that evening but to my surprise half of the items had to be picked up at a store in a different state. WHAT? Tried to contact customer service and they say there is nothing they can do except I would have to drive to the other state to pick up the items or call that store. WHAT? Customer service can't help or contact the store in the other state for me. So I call the store myself to cancel the order. Today I notice on my bank account they have charged me twice for the total order. Contact customer service again to hear them say, "Sorry but there is nothing we can do." Kohl's is a total SCAM!!! NEVER will I shop here again.

I placed an online order on Black Friday. By Sunday I had been charged 3 times for the same order! I had to call my debit card company and have them deactivate my card so I wouldn't keep getting charged from Kohls. I now have to get a new debit card, dispute the charges and pay overdraft fees since they charged so much for the same order that it put me in a negative status with my bank. Absolutely ridiculous! And from what I'm hearing from others some people were charged 6 times for one order. This is unacceptable and has put a lot of people in very bad financial positions. I'm currently checking with my attorney friends to look into a class action lawsuit.

I ordered online on Black Friday, I ordered a total of 10 items and it cost $212.54. When I woke up the next morning Kohl's had taken out an additional $201 out of my account. After numerous attempts of calling I finally got to someone and they told me that this was a new policy they’re doing during the peak season, to make sure customers have the money in the bank account. The money will be returned after I get my items. Well I woke up today. There’s a new charge for $11.62. Now the total of 201 equals the total that I spent $212. Who the hell do they think they are? If I had checked out this will cause overdraft fees service fees and this would be a real mess. Luckily right now I don’t. Why are they allowed to do this? I called the bank so they couldn’t do anything! I won’t be shopping at Kohl’s anymore!

I log into my account and pick the one I want and check out. I give my card number and hit complete order. I get an error message and a phone number to call. I call that number and here's where it gets bizarre.
Customer service rep informs me my card number is invalid. I'm looking at the card. But he can't give me any information about it. Needless to say my purchase isn't happening. I have never requested a new card nor have I received one. I call the number on the back of the card. It's no longer Kohl's. I look online for a customer service number. There isn't one unless you click on link after link in FAQs. I find a number and call it. Office closed. Outsourcing anyone? It's gotta be tomorrow somewhere. So I look for an email for customer service. Gotta log in. Okiedokie. Enter everything. Nope. I check where I have it written down and enter it exactly. Not so much. Now the account is locked and I need a card number to get a new password. BUT THE CARD IS INVALID!!
So I called the customer service number hidden in the FAQs. Heaven forbid the number was displayed in a more prominent place so you aren't ready to unleash your wrath on the unsuspecting person unfortunate to answer and try to help. Makes no sense. Anyway. I go through the automated prompts again and realized I have a balance. By the way they matched the last four of my social to the phone I was calling from.
So now I find out I have a balance and I never received a bill. I bought something back in September or October and paid the balance on the receipt. But since I never got a bill I had to guess when it was due. Oh and my account log in had never worked for online. Every time I try to log in I get locked out and have to request the information again. This time I can't because the card is invalid. Confused? Welcome to the Kohl's charge.
So Friday I had no chance of calling customer service. I had to work. So Saturday I called and gave the lady all of this information and she says "ok so the problem is that you can't make a purchase online". No. My problem is that my card is invalid, I have never received a bill, apparently I have a balance of $2 because I got charged a late fee because I didn't get a bill, I can't log into my account because the card is invalid, and...oh yeah customer service is no help.
So I suggested we start with when was a new account number issued. She said there wasn't a new account issued. She asked me for the card number. Well, since I can't use the card, why would I carry it with me. I asked about the balance. She said there was one. I asked about the late fee. She said there was one. I told her that's not right because I never got a bill and I also overpaid anyway. She again asked for the card number. At this point I hang up. I don't feel I should be charged a late fee, but I will pay the remaining $2 and change to never have to deal with Kohl's again. Needless to say I didn't get my Fitbit because the other stores running similar deals were sold out and I couldn't take advantage of the miles deal. But hey I saved money. I guess Kohl's really does save its customers' money.

Like others, I placed an online order last night. The total was $75 and some change. Checked my bank account this morning and was surprised to find an additional separate charge of $63. When I phoned, I got some girl in the Philippines, who hemmed and hawed and put me on hold; then finally came back and said it was "to be sure I have the money in my account for my order." I said, "That makes no sense, because they already charged my account for the $75!" Then she said it was "to be sure I picked up the order in the store." Again, that defies logic, because if I paid for the merchandise, then failed to pick it up, Kohl's would still come out AHEAD.
When I demanded the $63 returned to my account, I was told it would take "7 to 10 business days AFTER I pick up my order to be returned." Well, they have until December 4th for some of my stuff to arrive for pick up at the store, so that means they're keeping my money for approximately 3 weeks?! Guess I need to get dressed and go stand in line at Kohl's, cancel my order, and demand my money is returned. Anyone on here know a class action attorney? This is illegal and I'm furious! NEVER again will I shop at Kohl's.

I will never shop at Kohl's again. The online customer service is absolutely horrible. I was in the middle of placing my order last night. I had 33 items in my cart. I updated my personal information, saved it, then went to submit my order and all my prices instantly changed. My $90.00 dollars in Kohl’s cash was gone, not even showing that I had earned anything. This was at 10 pm Pacific Time. I then called customer service and held on the phone from 10:09 pm until well after 11 pm. When the agent finally came on she stated that they were not able to adjust any prices and that is how their system works. That I would need to run my card for the new price that was showing and in 48 hours they could go back and look at the order.
I then asked to speak to a supervisor and the girl was adamant about not putting a supervisor on the phone. I again made my numerous requests for a supervisor and she finally placed me on hold for a few minutes. The supposed supervisor came on and her voice was the same as the representative. I pointed this out and she assured me that she was a different person. I still do not believe it. She stated that there was nothing they could do to fix the prices so I informed them that I will be contacting Kohl’s Corporate Office as well as filing complaints with the FTC and the BBB.
When a customer is checking out the price in their cart should not change under any reason. They have a term for that and it is called price gouging! My cart was not abandoned. I was checking out at that exact moment. Seriously Kohl’s what a dishonest way to do business! I had well over $300.00 dollars in my cart and now I will take my money elsewhere and never shop at A Kohl’s store again.

As some background information: In the past, I have gone to a jewelry cashier because I didn't think it was allowed outside of the department. Every time I went up there to buy something, much like the really cheap jewelry on sale, they always served me and have been respectful. Now that I am a senior in high school, and have done this for years, I went to do the same thing again. I am not from here first of all, but I go here an awful lot because it's the closest Kohl's I have. On November 23, Black Friday (BUSIEST TIME OF THE YEAR) I was there to shop with my mother and grandmother. My mother really wanted a specific ring and I wanted to buy it for her for Christmas. When I picked it up (without her knowing), I went to get a ticket and waited.
I waited for a full hour before it was my turn to get the special jewelry for my mother. The first two ladies in front of me had other stuff too and had jewelry from the surrounding area, NOT FROM THE CASE, and bought it while they were there. But when I went up there to pay, the woman at the cash register told me that she could not serve me.
When I asked why, she said that she just spoke to her manager and he told her to not cash anything other than the jewelry from the case. I asked her why she took the ladies' other stuff and jewelry that they did not buy from the case. She said it was because they waited so long. By this time, I was close to tears and I asked if I could pay. She refused and told me that it was part of Kohl's policy, THE FIRST TIME I'VE HEARD ABOUT SUCH A THING! I was furious and slammed down the box and yelled at her. It wasn't the appropriate thing to do, but after waiting a full hour to pay for a ring I was going to give to my mother and watching the other ladies (who were very nice to me) get served, got to me.
I left that store CRYING! With my grandmother by my side since she wanted to see how I was doing. My grandmother was so angry that she called the manager and waited ten minutes (Because you know, it's Black Friday). When she finally talked to the manager, she was really nice at first and asked if he could put up a sign. But then he started yelling at her and said that she should've known such a policy. My grandmother is like me. She's not from the location and has always been served at the jewelry cash register even if none of the jewelry was from the case and no matter the location she went to.
Instead of being an appropriate manager, the manager never once apologized. Never ONCE! I have worked in the fast food service and have never experienced a manager that yelled at someone for simply asking to put up an extra sign to tell young people like me. I am just very displeased by the fact I was not served because I'm a young person who's been served like this my entire life only to be slammed down at the worst possible moment. I'm not going to this store any time soon because of this irresponsible event. I give this store a one star because we tried to be nice when complaining and they ended up yelling at us and the fact that I wasn't served when I was waiting just as long as the two ladies.

I recently received an email telling me that my PS4 Spider-Man bundle was canceled. Kohl's sent me a flyer to my house with the Black Friday door buster sales. It told me it would be available online at 12:01 AM central time. I signed up for an account and entered my credit card information 2 days prior in order to streamline my late night purchase. I set an alarm and patiently waited by the computer. I happened to notice other websites offering the same $199.99 offer, but thought I would stick with Kohl's because my account was set up and ready to go. The purchase went through and I was delighted.
Tonight (24 hours later) I received an email which gave me a very poor explanation to why my order was canceled. I am extremely dissatisfied with this entire experience and feel Kohl's should make restitution on this mistake. I would have purchased it from another site, but it is too late now. I can't even find the units online for less than $500. I believe a fair response from Kohl's would be to issue me a rain check for the same unit for the previous $199.99 price. I consider the current state of our business to be unacceptable.
They sent me an apology email. Here it is. "I'm contacting you today from Kohls.com regarding your issue on your order. I do apologize for the inconvenienced that this issue have caused you. I already checked the order details and it showed that the item "PlayStation 4 1TB Marvel's Spider-Man Bundle " was already out of stock and I can't offer a replacement for the said item.
What I can do for you is that I can honor the same sale price for the item if it was already back into our stocks. If you see at Kohl's website that the said item was already at our stocks, please email again for Kohl's to assist you into this issue." Problem is that they will discontinue that bundle. I have scrolled down and there are other VERY similar stories. SHAME ON YOU KOHL'S!! ROTTEN SCAMMERS. Well I'm off to Target. P.S. I would have checked 0 stars but 1 was the minimum. Beware of your money with this company!!! I ordered $117.28 some pickup and some delivered. (This became the worst mistake and realized how corrupt this company is) Right after making my purchase I checked my bank account to see what my new balance was. I had approx. $83 and change. Later on in the morning, I received a text from my bank giving me my balance. My balance was not close to the $83. So I logged in to find out that there was another charge from Kohl's for $53.13 (Not authorized). I called Kohl's right away to find out what was happening, did someone steal my card info and try to order from there too? Close, the company itself stole the money.
They are also trying to say it’s not them it’s the bank that is charging it. (The bank won’t just hold/pend something unless the company tells them to, as if there was a purchase). Kohl's also said that they would hold that money until I go in and pick up my items. The amount of my purchases being picked up was not even close to the $53.13, (so where they got that number I am not sure); But that $53.13 was because I made the choice to pick up some items. I picked up my items asap so I could get my money back. It did go back the $53.13 BUT they split up my transaction; pickups, delivery -- Making 2 transactions $46.66 and $64.15 = $110.81, the difference I am to assume is 1 from the ship to store item, which was approx. $7. That amount has yet to hit my account for a hard post and is not pending either, but it's available for pick up.
The company is fully aware of the fraud that they are doing, and the only reason they probably aren’t getting in trouble is because the non-authorized amounts never hard post to the account and it’s hard to file fraud or push more when something just pends. This type of fraud can screw someone up really bad, and there is no one to help them if this company takes everything they have and then some. They won’t pay for overdraft fees, or late payment fees of bills you have to pay; if they hold your money until you get the items from the store. Don’t get yourself screwed over by shopping with Kohl's because. I am a more fortunate one that they didn't pull more money than authorized then. They did for some people.

It's big flaw in Kohls.com online orders. With their available stock only they are supposed to accept orders but the reality is reversed. At the end it's disappointment for people who ordered online and get the response that your order or partially canceled. It's the second incident for me. Customer service told me it will take 10 days and they can take and hold any amount they want. Right, after that I checked my account they TOOK more money!!! I couldn't believe my eyes when I was looking at my account. I went to my bank to cancel my card so they couldn't take anymore. I can't believe they are allow to steal and take people money. I agreed for the amount I purchase not an extra $600.00 from my banking account. I called them the second time and the supervisor told me to deal with it and hang up the phone. I will be contacting the General Attorney Office in Boston. This is a crime and needs to be stop. I could have ordered from other companies within that 32 hour period, but KOHL'S had committed to my order so I hadn’t tried. I spent 2 hours on a call with Kohl’s and they won’t commit to honoring their confirmation.
They say that every order is subject to review and my order was randomly pulled and canceled due to a security verification process. Did they call or email me to verify order - NO - they just canceled it. I specifically asked if Kohl’s was going to honor their advertised price and confirmation for my order and they said no, the item was no longer in stock since the order had been canceled. They offered me a $30 discount on another order - that’s it. I asked them if they would follow through on their advertising and their confirmation email - and they refused. False advertising, lying to customers, and not honoring their commitments. I had been a good customer of Kohl’s for over 8 years.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM KOHL'S.COM. Black Friday sales started early, so I decided to wait until 12:01 CT to place my order. Immediately after placing my order, I noticed it was being shipped to my old address in Iowa and I now live in South Carolina! I tried to cancel the order online and it would not let me. I tried calling, but the offices were not open until 8 a.m. CT. I tried e-mailing (keep in mind, it is barely past midnight) and I got a response within a few hours telling me that they noticed I changed my default shipping address! In my head, I was like "Yes, I did but what does that have to do with stopping my order from going to the WRONG STATE?" So I called their customer support when they opened and the representative said that they could not change the address because it was past the "30-minute window" and to call FedEx.
So I called FedEx and they said Kohl's needs to print out a new shipping label so they can mail it to the correct address, and that they can't modify anything. So I called Kohl's again and they said that despite it has not been shipped yet, they cannot change the address and it will still be sent to Iowa. I then asked to cancel my order, and they could not do that either. They said they would escalate my case to interfere my package and will get back to me in ten business days. I said that by the time that happens, the package will be in Iowa. The representative replied that she will still escalate it because it is all she can do, but since it is not a Kohl's error, there is probably not much that will be done. I tried to go in and change the mailing/shipping address but the site would not let me. The site said that because the order was so far along, the only thing I could do was CANCEL it and then reorder. Mind you, approximately 15 mins. or so have transpired. Well, when I tried to cancel it, the site said that I could not do that. So, I waited until the time was right and I called customer service. I explained my situation and the customer service rep. told me that he would do a report to where KOHL'S would contact me to verify my mailing/shipping address before it was shipped. He told me not to worry, as I would not lose money nor my items.
Well lo and behold, I get an email saying that I could not cancel my order (which was not what I wanted to do after talking to the rep), and the email gave me a list of things that need to happen for a refund, one of which was to return the items. Ah, how am I going to return the items when they were being mailed/shipped to another state? Then to make matters worse, I get another email telling me that my order has been SHIPPED! Really? My name is Blanca ** and I just finished a conversation with one of the many customer service rep with Kohl's department store. My complaint, like many others on here, is about billing and so much confusion. It started on October 29, 2018, I received a phone call from Kohl's customer service (CS). It is true, I was late on a payment and did take responsibility for it, since I thought I had already scheduled a payment for the 30th of October. The CS rep asked me if I wanted to go ahead and schedule a payment with him and he would happily waive the 27 dollar late fee for me. Of course I said yes, I told him I forgot the payment because I was not sure if I had scheduled anything. Since the online payment options sometimes won't let you schedule a payment on any date passed the due date, which in this case was October 28th, 2018.
The CS representative went ahead and scheduled a payment for the following day on the 30th. Did not mention to me that I had a scheduled payment already for the same amount of 55 dollars on the 31st. My balance on my account was only 55 dollars and it would have been 0 balance after. On the 31st I found out that a second payment went through for another 55 dollars. I wasn't angry, but I did call Kohl's once again to ask why 55 dollars was pulled from my account twice. The CS representative told me on Friday of November 1st, that I had scheduled a payment on October 23 to be posted on October 31st for 55 dollars. I was a bit mad then because the representative that called me on October 29th did not mention that I already had scheduled a payment of 55 dollars for the 31st of October. So therefore, the representative without question told me that they would go ahead and send me a refund check of 55 dollars back through the mail.
It turns out that supposedly I had another 27 dollar payment scheduled on November 1st that I supposedly did not know about. I called back right the next day and this is what the CS told me that had happened. So an extra 27 was pulled from my bank as another scheduled payment. In which I have no recollection for honestly. I had scheduled online for one, but I remember canceling it and they even told me before the 27 dollars was pulled that they had accounted that cancelation before. Why none of these representatives could not tell me while they were checking in my account for previous or past payments that there was a 27 dollar payment scheduled still baffles me. Something with their system? Or simply not taking the time to look thoroughly in my account to prevent further disputes.
The CS representative then told me that I could dispute this 27 dollar charge and I asked her will this fix everything and she assured me it would be fine. It'd be faster to stop the payment using my bank to dispute the 27 charge. What information failed to come across me is that my bank charged Kohl's 25 dollars for the dispute fee and Kohl's turned around and charged me for those 25 dollars back on my account. When I checked my Kohl's account, I had 52 dollars being charged to me. I called Kohl's today again to ask why that charge was there if I had not purchased anything. Given I have been a good customer for 4 years now with a credit limit of 3000. Then the representative I was just talking to today on November 14, 2018, tells me that 25 was for the USAA dispute charge that was charged on them that will be paid by me.
Another 27 was charged to me for the check of 82 dollars that was sent to me, when I was told by a previous customer service rep it would be 55 only. The customer service rep could hear my frustration and honestly I was very angry. I tried to apologize for sounding frustrated. But as we spoke trying to figure it out, how he was making it sound like it was my fault entirely. He told me that their representatives do give the option for us customers to dispute charges for overpayments. It sounded to me like they go through this often, they must have known banks usually charge them fees for disputes. He said I should have known the fee my bank would charge them. What I did not know, was that Kohl's will turn around and charge the customer whatever your bank fee charges them back onto your account.
I tried to tell him, "Why didn't the other representative who suggested that I dispute to stop the payment for 27 dollars warn me that Kohl's will charge the customer back for whatever fees my bank charges them." His answer was "we cannot know what your bank's policies on dispute fees are to be able to warn you." I get it, I know they can't possibly learn everyone's bank fees, but if they have gone through something like this before, why not warn the customer that Kohl's will charge the customer back for whatever bank dispute charge fees will charge Kohl's. I was not made aware of this. So in the end the 82 dollar charge (which was only suppose to be 55) minus 52 that Kohl's recharged for my bank fee that was applied to them, plus 25 extra they put on that 82 dollar check they send me, I will only be getting 30 dollars back.
Essentially I've paid Kohl's a lot more than what I actually owed them. The customer service used a "oh well" it was my fault type of tone. It was really upsetting. I decided to close the account after being with them for over 4 years of on time payments (except for this one time) and he did not care. Still using that tone like he doesn't care at all that I just got screwed over. He told me it wasn't his fault that those other representatives did what they did. That's the type of people that will be answering the phone if anyone reading decides to open an account with them.
I will always be labeled by Kohl's as a disgruntled old customer and all of this was my own fault for being late to pay this one time. And then while closing the account and knowing how upset I am he continues to tell me that I will not be able to apply for another card for some time and that I am missing out on sales. Without a care that he did not help me at all. Like he was enjoying my frustration and anger. I guess I am THAT disgruntled customer but with a legitimate reason. I see all this other reviews and I'm just baffled at how Kohl's customer service keeps getting away with such horrible service. Please make sure you research what type of credit or company you are supporting by buying from this horrible store who are such thieves.

Kohl's has a nasty little habit when you place your order, you are charged and it showing pending for the full amount of your order. If you choose to pick up part of your order and the other part has to be shipped look out. They charge you again for the part of the order that you pick up and you are left holding the both charges pending against your account for a minimum of 5 days and then the remainder is shipped that will be charged as well. So in essence your account is charged twice for the full amount. It will take however long it takes for it to roll off. So just be prepared to pay twice when you do half and half. These idiots haven't figured out how to do it right yet and they'll swear up and down the bank did it!!! LOL. The bank only does it because Kohl's does it like that.

I need the chairs so I have not returned unless they are crap when my husband puts together. Which I am hoping do I can return and never shop at Kohl's ever again. What pisses me off is that I should of bought Nov 1 and returned the Oct 30th chairs. And I would not be out knee 180 dollars!!! I hope everyone see this and does not shop at Kohl's ever again. Wrote check for around $40+, with a # of 14000+, produced pieces of ID, declined, no reason, but my debit card, same account, worked fine! Terribly embarrassing! Associates told me to call, but jerk "auto-guy" couldn't get me anywhere, couldn't understand "declined transaction" 1 time, "call another time" & kept spelling my name w/ "rs" instead of "i"s, I hung up. I have no accent. Online had no record of my declined check X2! I'm going to BBB. This "decline" may be reflected on credit ratings!!! Unfortunately this survey does not allow for no stars!!

I recently made a purchase of several outfits for my great-niece and great-nephew. Of the $105, there was a $5 shirt that was canceled out of my order. When I tried to reorder, it said out of stock. I went in later that day to pick up part of the order that was at my local Kohls and there it was, the cute little $5 shirt. I grabbed the size needed and went to pay... SURPRISE! My account was locked for a fraud alert. This sweet little shirt was flagged because it wasn't the typical purchase for me. (Did they not see the other 15 shirts?) I went through 2 HOURS of trying to prove who I am and all for this size 2T shirt!!!
Well their solution at corporate, was not one of the 2 photo IDs I had on my person, it was to go to my car and get my CAR REGISTRATION AND PROOF OF INSURANCE. This is policy, yet the store manager had never heard of anything like it. I was so embarrassed! Corporate's suggestion as to how they should handle me??? A 15% off coupon for the next time I shop. I said I am a credit card holder and I have 20% coupons on any given day! VERY disappointing!!!

So I ordered 7 items to ship to store on one of their pre- "Black Friday" sales that occurs in the beginning of November. Don't get me wrong, I got a great price for the items. But they fail to mention if an item is in stock in store and other items are shipped from their warehouse, they will double charge you for those items and then it takes 7 days to get the money back in your account. That's basically theft, whether they give it back or not.
I didn't approve them charging me twice for the same order. So I got charged the full amount when the order was placed and then the full amount (minus the one pair of Jeans that was in stock in store) the next day when the order shipped. They say this happens anytime an order is split. So beware! I love Kohl's but how is this legal? I can't go shop at Kohl's for 6 items, pay for one item and say I'll give you the rest of the money in seven days! Oh and btw if the second charge overdrafts your account, they are definitely not paying your overdraft fee.

2 yrs now on Black Friday purchased a lot of small appliances that came with a rebate. 1st year I didn't get my rebates. They said they had requested more information from me & since they didn't receive it they just cancelled my rebates. It was over $100, and I never received the request but I couldn't prove it so I dropped the issue. This past yr they said they didn't receive my rebates request, but this yr it was over $220 & I kept all my documentation. They asked me to fax it. I did. They said, "Didn't get." I ended up faxing at my cost mind you all paperwork 4 times. Then I get 3 cards for all but $40. Great. I'll give you the $40 because I'm tired of fighting with you.
Got to use cards the last day before they expire & they error out or won't work. Can't get anyone on phone till next day. Guess what? They're sorry, but I just lose that money. They can see the errors, but, "Nothing we can do due to our policy." I will never buy anything from Kohl's again. I will do everything I can to keep anyone I know from shopping there. They have kept my money & they won't get another penny. I hope they go bankrupt this yr.

Their coupons have never worked for the online website. None of their items are available to pick up in store within 50 miles (even the ones that are advertised). Select items that are on sale I found 40% cheaper at all other stores and they wouldn't price match because they were already on sale. If an item comes damage or missing they give you Kohl's cash which has restrictions and deadlines to meet. I can't believe I even spent money at their store at all!

A few months ago I returned 2 pair of pants that I purchased online. Never received an email that they were received. Went to my Kohl's account online and received Kohl's cash totaling $6.47. Made a call and apparently if you use Kohl's cash and return 1 item of the order the full amount of Kohl's cash is deducted from the return. Also, they didn't credit my Kohl's credit card, instead they gave me the Koh's cash and I didn't even know I had it. Also, the free shipping isn't free. Yesterday I made a purchase and it said I needed a few more dollars spent to get free shipping. One of my purchases was a pair of jeans and after using Kohl's cash and a 20% discount my discount on the jeans was $11 and some cents. I added an item to get free shipping and my discount on the jeans dropped to $10 and some cents. So, apparently when you get "free shipping" you are actually paying for it.

I wrote to the lady that and told her the items I was missing. She said that she would reorder them and that they would come in 3-6 business days. They did not so I did a live chat with another lady. When I wrote to the second lady on live chat about my items not being delivered, she said the other lady did not order them. She tried reordering them for me and said she could not. She wanted me to reorder them and my refund will go back on my card for the first 18 items I was missing.
I said that I did not want to reorder, I will just wait until my money is back on my card. She said it would be on my card within 7 business days. Monday was 7 business days. My money was not back on my account. I finally found a number I can call to actually talk to somebody. He said that there was an investigation and incident report already so I just have to wait for my money to return. It is Thursday now, November 1, 2018. I had to call again. My money is still not back on my account. I am so glad I did not reorder my items because I would have been paying for the first items I never received. Supposedly I'm getting my refund back. I'm really frustrated. It is already cold in Chicago. I have one daughter and I have to buy new everything each year because she is my first.
I ended up going to Target to purchase clothes for her. I just want my money back. I don't even want to ever shop online at Kohl's ever again. I always purchase big orders and never had a problem but this is a hassle. I do not want my card charged for something I never received. Part of my daughter's clothing was her outfit for Halloween. She was Jo Jo Siwa. I had to buy her shirt at Target. Worst experience ever. I have to waste my time online with live chat and calling on the phone about getting my money back. Still waiting on my refund. I cannot believe it's already November and still dealing with this mess.

I attempted to cancel on the "manage your order" but it wouldn't allow me. Then, I used the chat feature and the robot told me that it wouldn't be able to cancel/re-route because the order had already been sent to the fulfillment center. I then called and spoke to a live person who essentially told me the same, but I was persistent and he was very accommodating and told me that the company has a 30-minute cancellation policy. I said, "Where?" He replied in their policy.
I asked if it was on the order itself and he said no. I said, “Why not?” He agreed that it should be clearly stated on the order so that in the event you realize you made a mistake you could quickly address it. He told me he would have to send an email to cancel the order and hopefully, the fulfillment center would receive. Oh, ok, so I told him that I wouldn't be paying for the items if the order was not canceled or re-routing to another address. We shall see if I am refunded.

I recently moved from MA to TN. I wanted to purchase a duvet cover on Kohls.com that I liked. Even though I typed in my new shipping address, I received a text message today from the person renting my house in MA that the package was delivered there (My billing address is still my MA address at this point). I called UPS and they will pick up the package in two days, and I contacted the renter to ask that they leave the package on the front steps on the scheduled pickup day. So, this didn't seem like a huge deal -- a pain to have to do all of this arranging, but I was told it would be sent back to the shipper and I would be refunded.
Since I still wanted the duvet cover, I figured I would go online and triple check that I was putting in the correct shipping address (because at this point I thought maybe I had made the mistake the first time and not put in my new address) and reorder it. After doing just that, I resubmitted the request. Two hours later I went online to check my email, and I was horrified to see that this new order was ALSO going to be shipped to my MA address and not to my TN address. I selected "Manage Order" hoping to remedy the situation either by changing the address or by merely cancelling the order. I wasn't given either of those options.
I promptly called Customer Service. I could go on and on about what occurred, but suffice it to say that the woman told me that it was impossible to do either of those things and that the only time anyone can either change the address or cancel the order is in the 30-minute time period right after placing the order. WHAT??! In this computer age, a quick change for either of those options can't be done just two hours after placing the order??! I got angrier and angrier in talking with her as she kept asking me the same useless questions over and over. I was yelling at her telling her that she had already asked me some of those questions and that I had already answered them and that the answer was the same. I wanted to speak to her supervisor, which also took some time as supposedly her supervisor was on another line. I told her I would wait.
She would come back and tell me her supervisor was still busy. I told her I would wait as long as it took. Oh, the package isn't even scheduled to arrive between 7-10 days from now -- sure seems like there should be enough time before fulfillment to make one of these simple changes. Eventually I was able to speak with her supervisor. She assured me that she would make a ticket and that the order would be cancelled and that I would be refunded that amount. I asked her to be sure I understood what she was saying, and she assured me that it would be cancelled and not shipped.
HA! I wake up this morning to find an email from their customer service telling me that she understands that I have not received my package. You think??! I just ordered it two hours prior to the ticket to cancel the order was made. The email goes on to refer to the first package, even though the purchase order number is for the second package. OMG!! The service is horrible. Do NOT purchase online from Kohl's unless you want to work with the worst company communication possible!!!

My mothers-in-law Kohl's card was recently compromised. Her statement reflected over $900.00 of in store purchased gift cards in Las Vegas, Nevada. A call was immediately placed to the customer service number provided on the credit card statement. A Kohl's CC representative placed the charges under a dispute status and informed us a fraud team member would contact us regarding the charges and the account itself. After waiting three days we placed another call to the credit card center. There were no apologies for the lack of response from the fraud team. We were told the charges have been removed so all is okay. We asked the cc representative to close out the compromised account and issue a new card under a new account. The cc representative said if we closed out the account we would need to reapply for a new card.
We explained to the cc representative that an employee in the Las Vegas store allowed charges to go against this account without the actual card in hand and obviously no picture identification was asked for. It is normal procedure when a card is not in hand to ask the customer for ID and for customer to key in their Social Security number. Had this been done at the store level the account would have never been compromised. Therefore we would like for the account to be closed and a new card issued to prevent future fraud charges. We were informed by the cc representative that they would issue a new credit card number but the account number would remain the same. We then explained once again to the cc representative the account was compromised without the credit card in hand. They accessed the account itself at the store level and if the account number is not changed there is a very good chance it will happen again.
The cc representative refused to close out the account and issue a new credit card and account without us re-applying for credit. She said they could put a request in that would force us to enter in a password at the register every time we use the card. But to make sure you remember the password before entering the checkout. In summary Kohl's allowed the account to compromised at store level. They made no apologies and have placed the burden on their customer to reapply if they want a new card and account number. Their lack of protection for our personal information has forced all of us to close out all of our accounts.

Customer happiness and retention is obviously not their priority. I have had my Kohl's charge for over 5 years. I have always had the same credit limit on it - $300. I've NEVER carried more than 20% of that balance, and have never had a late or missed payment. However, I've never been offered a credit limit increase. I contacted their customer service via chat last week and asked if, due to my excellent history, they would do a credit limit increase without doing a hard pull on my credit. The rep told me yes! They absolutely would do that because I am such a loyal customer, but that I had to either call in or e-mail out of my online account in order to make this happen. He said he was attaching his notes to the file so they could see that he granted me an increase based on my history. I e-mailed out of my online account, and was responded to the following day and told to call in and speak to a rep to answer questions.
I called in the following day. The first rep I spoke to said they would have to do a credit check. When I told him to check the notes in my account, he said his computer wasn't working and he couldn't see any accounts. I asked to be transferred to someone else and he said he could not do that. I asked multiple times and he kept saying I would just need to call back another day but he could not tell me why? I finally demanded to speak to a supervisor. I was transferred to a "supervisor" who I proceeded to, once AGAIN, explain things to and told her to check my account for the notes left by the first rep I chatted with. She did not look at my account, and first said maybe I misunderstood what the rep said.
I again demanded she look in my account at our chat notes. She finally looked and said she could see where he said that but did not know why he said that and told me he was misinformed and he spoke out of place. She said they cannot do a credit limit increase without a hard pull to my credit, which I declined. They wasted my time for days because the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing and none of them seemed to care at all. Not one of the reps I spoke to came off as client-focused. Not one. Each one was flippant and seemed in a hurry to be rid of me. There was not an ounce of care. This card carries an extremely high interest rate, so if you plan to not pay it off monthly, I would not recommend it on those grounds, either. All in all I absolutely cannot recommend this card and at this time, the "rewards" aren't worth it. I will be closing my account and they will lose my business.

I spend thousands of dollars in Kohl's a year, online and in store. I have had my account shut down 2 times in the past month and a half. I would go to submit my order online and then I would get an email 2 days later saying that it was cancelled and to call the 1800 number. The first time this happened I ordered a bunch of clothes for my daughter and then 2 chairs that I spent 2 months trying to pick out. It shut my card down because of my 500 dollar order and when I called the 1800 number I was told by 2 different people, "Don't worry. It has been handled." It was not. A week and a half later my order was still on hold and after spending another hour on the phone they said my order would be expedited. It took a month to get my chairs that I needed within a week of originally ordering.
This time my dad called me and asked to get a "Roomba thing." The vacuum that does it for you so you don't have to dust mop daily and such. I decided to order through Kohl's. Along with the vacuum my dad wanted I bought a handheld steamer for myself and a hoodie for my daughter... My account once again is shut down. This has only been a month and a half since the last incident. So I called and talked to someone at the 1800 number. She said she could not completely identify me by sending a code to my cellphone because my number was not recognized... This is the only number recognized with my account though. She then told me I would have to go in the store to take my ID and a utility bill to verify myself... Um, there is no reason I should be having to take that in the store to turn my card back on. I told them at the 1800 number I was buying these things!
Ended up chatting with someone online at their help center. He told me there was payment issues that is why it shut my account down! I said, "What payment issues? I never carry a balance over to the next month and only have $23 dollars on my account when I was trying to make this purchase! I have a $3,000 limit... What payment issues could you possibly be talking about." He then told me that I needed to call the 1800 number back. So I guess I will keep my $480 and purchase at Target. My Kohl's card will just stay locked.

What is the purpose of having a website if you can't access any of your old credit card statements? I had to call customer service to request them. The first person I spoke with told me their system deletes everything from over a year ago. I demanded to speak with someone else who could actually help me and she continued to refuse! I asked to speak with a supervisor and she refused again! Unbelievable! I called the corporate number to complain but I probably ended up in the same call center. The second person who helped me actually did his job and was able to mail the statements I requested.

I ordered from Kohl's.com. All that came in the package were the items. No return form no invoice and no label. I am trying to return 2 of the 4 items. The first rep I spoke with said she can have UPS or FedEx actually come to the house to take the package. When I asked what to put inside the package to indicate what I’m returning so I can be properly credited. She put me on hold and another rep came on the phone. He said they would provide a free shipping label via email that would be all I needed. The next morning I revived an email from Kohl’s asking what was the reason for return. I emailed the reason and he said I need to return the items to the store! All I needed was a return form. What a mess.

I need to report a complaint regarding my $30.00 in Kohl's cash redeemable on September 24-30, 2018 for coupons earned September 13-23, 2018. I was in an automobile accident on Monday, September 17 last week and my car was towed to a body shop. I forgot to get my Kohl's cash slip out of my car when I remembered on Saturday, September 29 that I had to redeem it. I immediately called customer service to ask them to help me get a number off the slip I received and they were able to provide it to me from my purchase receipt BUT they overlooked telling me that I needed a Pin number as well.
When I arrived at the store with the number customer service provided me, I was at the cash register to check out with my things and the cashier told me they could not complete the transaction without the PIN. I was like, WHAT?? So I called again standing at the register customer service and they told me I had to have the PIN. At that point, I left the store WITHOUT my items as I didn't have the slip with the PIN number on it. I spent $161.00 to get this Kohl's cash. VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER.

The customer service representative asked how I could know of such a program, I responded that I’d been dealing with other credit card companies and they all do it. She said, "We only offer that to people who have had a card for 15-20 years" to which I responded, "Have y’all even been open that long?" Which I’m sure they haven’t. Horrible customer service, when I asked to speak to her supervisor she got off the phone for about 2 minutes and then sent me to a customer service survey to which I responded that all 1’s because they didn’t even try to take care of me. There was no option for me to get my situation resolved, they are the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

I was approved in store for a Kohl's charge this summer and although I was approved I still paid cash. Got my first statement with the cash payment showing and a zero balance. Didn't actually charge anything on the card for 2 months. After using it I scheduled an early payment, in the middle of the month. I got my new statement that showed it counted that payment as the one due, and my amount due was $0.00 on the first. I thought great so I scheduled another payment for the middle of the month again a week before the first. They took it on the first!
It overdrew my account, and since I didn't know about it and it's pending it's cost $35 to stop payment. So now what? I called Kohl's just to hear sorry I shouldn't have scheduled a payment when nothing was due??? And that they can't refund it because it's after 5 pm central time-it's not, and that no I can't speak to anyone in the United States or a supervisor even! I closed my account, they'll be getting no more of my business. Too bad because I love Kohl's prices and fashion but whoever owns it now needs a crash course in customer service and technical support!

I bought a few pairs of pants and a pair of pajamas online. Before that, I carefully measured myself (based on their sizing chart) AND took the online quiz for sizing. When my order arrived, I tried them all on, and they were way too big. I was swimming in them. I was unable to return them to a store in person because the closest store is still too far from me. I did an online chat with customer service. I could tell the guy I chatted with did not have English as a first language. It was hard to understand some of what he wrote. However, he told me (and I confirmed, as I have the saved chat) that I would receive a shipping label to return the items by mail and would not be charged shipping. He said it would be sent to my email 24 to 48 hours.
A day later I received an email, but it was from someone else in customer service, telling me they were unable to issue me a label at this time (without telling me why), and told me I could return my item in store or via mail. I'm so mad! I felt it was their fault the items didn't fit because I went by their sizing guidelines and quiz. Even worse than that, though, was being lied to and told I would get a free return shipping label so I wouldn't be charged return shipping. This is the first and last time I will ever buy from Kohl's. If you're debating whether to buy from them, I would advise against it. As a side note, the pajamas I got were supposed to be for winter and help keep me warm. I bought flannel. The quality sucks! The PJs are super thin and not soft. I recently ordered 2 bicycles from Kohls.com. The order was placed on hold to verify it was not a fraudulent purchase (I'm okay with that). The next day I called the number provided and the agent verified my identity and said she had released the order. Then she said I could go online and place the order again. I asked her why that was necessary if she released the order and she said, "never mind. I can do it." I confirmed the information with her and she said that was all that was needed and I hung up. Today I learned that she sent the order to the incorrect shipping address. When I called they asked if I could pick the order up from where it was delivered and take it to the correct address. Well- I am in California and the packages are in Michigan. So- NO.
They then said they could not help me and transferred me to someone who could. I had to tell this story again only to hear that my only option is to re-order and pay again and then have the initial order cancelled (no credit given until the items are received and logged in at the warehouse). So - NO. It appears I will have to send an UBER driver to retrieve my packages and deliver them for me. I am livid.
Note- I ordered Christmas gifts in 2017 for my grandchild to be shipped to California. The same issue occurred- An agent called me to verify the order and then SHE sent them to the incorrect address in Hawaii. When I found this out I had the same runaround and ended up placing the order again with an agent who entered an invalid zip code and they were lost in transit. I never was able to receive the package. They refunded the money but never refunded the Kohl's cash. I thought perhaps the first time was an anomaly but now that this has happened twice I will no longer be ordering from Kohls.com. Not worth the stress and aggravation when I can order from Target or Walmart and get the same products for less money with no issue.
I only chose Kohl's because of earning Kohl's Cash but this is going to be an expensive fix... figuring out how to move two bicycles from point A to point B from across the country is just too much. Also note- Kohl's consistently denies that the agents on the phone are causing the problem- they blame the warehouse who prints the labels. Honestly I don't really care who made the blunder. What matters to me is if Kohl's takes steps rectify issues when they occur and clearly they do not.

Ordered a quilt online. Very nice product. This issue: Kohl's sent the wrong size and the bag had been opened and the shams were missing. Not my mistake. I contacted returns and they asked me to reorder immediately while he was on the phone so he could return the shipping cost to get another quilt. The hassle began when he did not send a return shipping label for pick-up of Queen quilt. It's been 3 1/2 weeks and I still don't have my king quilt, they have $150.00. And the box still sits in my garage. So I can't get them to send a return to me so I can do the right thing and get their Queen quilt back to them. I refuse to pay their shipping to return their mistake.
I have been lied to by 5 different associates, saying they will make this priority and get the refund for me and get the shipping label sent to me. BE AWARE: this is not NO HASSLE returns. Many other companies send a printed label over email. Stick it on the box, UPS picks it up. you're all set. REPEAT. This was not my error. It was KOHL"S. And there is no recourse. I even called a store, 60 miles away and asked if they could help. The associate said she couldn't help. But at least she was upfront with me. She said don't send the box back until you see a refund. If I do see the refund, she'd help me get some shams. So see, it's the Kohl's online system. Buyer beware. I will not shop any of KOHL's affiliates again. And where is the review of the product or your experience when you are ordering? Notice it's missing? Just hope you get what you wanted when that package arrives, otherwise, be ready for TOTAL HASSLE returns.

I tried to update online with no success, and called customer service who told me they could do nothing about it since part of the order was pickup in store. They stated the only thing they could do was try to intercept the packages once the tracking numbers were created and they left the facility. I even spoke with a supervisor. I said, "So you are going to pay to ship these out, just so you can intercept them and have them returned to you?" The response was yes, that was all they could do. Unless I wanted to wait until tracking numbers were created and we could get on a conference call with the shipping companies to try to reroute the packages to my new address 3 states away.
The order has now been shipped in full, in four separate packages. Two UPS, one FedEx Smart Post (which will be transferred to the post office for delivery), and 1 USPS. I called Kohl's again today to find out if the intercept was successful as they still showed they were going to my old address on the tracking numbers. They said no, that their head department came back and said because it was my error, they would not intercept the packages as it would be a cost to them. So I said, ok, then can we please call the shipping companies because I need these packages not to be delivered to someone else's house 3 states away. They said they could not make outbound calls and I would have to contact the shipping companies myself.
I have tried and was unable to have items forwarded without the shipper's consent. I called back and they stated they would not call to give consent because then they would get charged for rerouting fees. I asked if they could then just ask that the shipments be returned to them, as the first representative stated the intercept would do, and my order would be cancelled. This representative said they would not do that because they would get charged a fee. I am SO fed up with their customer service. They are the worst customer service I have EVER dealt with. I am getting married October 20, 2018. My Fiancé and I have registered at Target and Kohl’s. We were disappointed about the selection at Target, so tried again at Kohl’s. Kohl's has an enormous amount of kitchen appliances, utensils, cookware, tableware. I mean, THEY HAVE IT ALL, RIGHT? Here is where our problem sets in. 75% of our registry is with Kohl’s. Myself and numerous people have gone to their website to search/review my registry FOR MY WEDDING IN 2 MONTHS. And guess what my registry, which I have under my name, my fiancé's name, a "registry ID" that Kohl’s personally gave me for my registry. Go to search for it online. "No Results found". NO RESULTS FOUND? Yep, that's right!
I've called four times now. They gave me a ticket on Wednesday the 15th. I of course haven't heard anything, and ONCE AGAIN today, my registry is "Not found". I call, and what do you know...THEY JUST FOUND OUT that they are no longer going to offer registry services AT ALL, but it "shouldn't" affect people who current registries. The woman I was speaking with was at least knowledgeable enough to finish that with "which obviously we know it’s causing issues." This young woman was adamant that I should "have faith in her." "We'll make this right". I am literally 64 days from my wedding, 3 weeks away from my first shower, and 5 weeks away from my second one.
Kohl's has made this the most unbearable part of this entire wedding planning process. I've spent more time crying about my registry than people have spent being able to even review it. Kohl's service is worthless, no one is fixing anything, and I'm not even sure they have the capability to do so. I am just one customer, but this is my ONLY wedding. As soon as my registry reappears, I will be moving all items over to Target or elsewhere-besides Kohl's. What an awful experience, service, and resolution. For God's sakes, my wedding. No one seems to get the important or urgency. Sad, just so sad.
