    Every Costco I've went to has been top-notch for me! I've always been going to the one in San Jose, California, but I've recently moved to VA, and both have been perfect. The staff are so nice and the products are in the best shape and quality. My family has ordered couches from Costco, and they have come perfect. The staff is so nice, always smiling or talking with one another. It overall seems like a happy and helpful place, even though each store is huge. So I don't know what y'all one star givers are doing, but I'm happy. Thank you, Costco!

    About two years ago I changed the model of the coffee maker I use to the Keurig K-Supreme Plus Special Edition Single Serve Coffee Maker which I purchased at Costco. The reason I purchased it from Costco is their reputation to stand behind what they sell in support of the customer. Since that original purchase I experienced very poor performance from this product and replaced it four times. After about 6 months to a little over a year the product would fail. The failure was while plugged in it would not turn on. As always, Costco accepted the return and I purchased another one, with the thought it was a one-off issue with that one item. This was not the case, and as stated up to April 2023 I had bought four and the fourth one failed after seven months with the same issue, no power.

    When I attempted to return it to my local Costco, I was told to purchase a new one and take one part out and include it with my return. I was in the process of the return and at the last minute the Customer Service Manager was called, and I was confronted with a very malicious tone, advising me that I had been flagged for repeated returns for small appliances and they would not accept the return even after being told to purchase a new one. Being flagged is not stated anywhere in Costco's return policy. The other reason for returning to Costco instead of going through Keurig is that after jumping through troubleshoot hoops after already doing them before calling Keurig, you must wait up to 14 days to get a replacement whereas using Costco's published return policy, you get one right then and there.

    The reason that I purchased the same model is because it was the only type that supported my needs, and I had large quantity of K-Cups. Also, Costco only carried two single server coffee makers Keurig and Nespresso. The Nespresso model was more expensive, and the pods were much more expensive than K-Cups. I explained that we only made three (3) cups a day, and only used bottled water and always descaled it when the display gave the notification. The product was maintained to the manufacturer's recommendation, even though the Costco Customer Service manager insinuated that we didn't.

    So in the end, Costco did not accept the return and I was stuck with a newly purchased product. In September the new failed again for the same reason, no power indicated. I decided to go through Keurig since it was still under warranty. Before I contacted them, I researched the problem online and found that there are numerous reports for the model, as well as others. There are also, many YouTube videos that show how to repair the problem by completely disassembling the product and replacing faulting electrical components. After contacting Keurig and spending about an hour on the phone I explained what I learned from the internet, but the individual would not acknowledge it, and only processed a replacement that arrived in 13 days.

    In the end, based on my experience, and many others that I have seen reported online, Keurig products have a great tendency to fail due to faulty electrical parts. It is my opinion that Keurig relies on their product no more than one year so that when the parts do fail, the product is no longer under warranty. As for Costco, I feel they should stand by their return policy as written or update it according. I am a loyal Costco customer and will continue to be based on their business model. I think my situation may be isolated to my local warehouse and their management. Talking to customer services at other Costco warehouses, indicated that this appears to be a one-off situation isolated to my local warehouse.

    In the end, issue is related both Keurig and Costco. Keurig for poor quality and my one local Costco Warehouse, poor customer service. As previously stated, I have been a loyal Costco customer for over 15 years and have spent over $15,000 in the last three years which included home improvement services. I've seen many customers return perishable items (produce, dairy, etc.), that I believe are the fault of the customer. This is something I've never done and wouldn't think of doing. I would only return a product that is truly faulty (not resaleable) or something not needed that is unopened and resaleable. I feel that the only resolution is for both Keurig acknowledge their product is prone to failure and my local Costco to accept and admit that they were wrong in their assessment and treatment of me at that time.

    I shopped the one in Duluth, GA. The cashier double-scanned one item: Normally, I don’t check my receipt, but that day I happened to check and noticed the red dragon fruit I bought was double charged. I had to go back to the desk and got a refund in the end. The waiting and the whole process took 30 minutes. That infuriated me so much. The Costco store check people’s receipts up and down like a hawk to make sure the right number of the items in the cart to make sure the customers not stealing any (I am sure of it) or item doubly charged (I am not sure of it).

    Well, how about an apology and some type of compensation ( perhaps the double scanned item for free?) The cashier was rude and the desk person who corrected the problem was just as bad. This whole process was demeaning to me. I didn’t steal anything, and furthermore it was not my fault that the item was double scanned. How about the store give the double scanned item for free?

    Just had Costco deliver a stove and microwave. Costco let us know the night before the time of delivery. They use Riley’s Company in Knoxville to install their appliances and we never had such a positive experience. So happy.

    Recently I bought a diamond ring. While I was buying the manager said it is a lifetime warranty. So I said great. I didn't know said, he yes anytime you are satisfied with the ring you can return it. I said great. I have a diamond ring at home my previous husband bought and I want to return even I can take a gift card from Costco I will be very happy. I have been a member with Costco over 20 years, and I never had any problems with the return. He said no problem, just come back and will do our best, but this the first time for me I cannot return anything from Costco I am not satisfied with. So when I came back they took pictures of my ring and said sorry we cannot return or give you a gift card, I still love Costco and I will always advise anyone needs a good quality to go shop at Costco but I was hoping to help me with my ring. I was hoping to get gift card to shop for my daughter back to school. Thank you so much!!!

    I’ve been a member of Costco for more than 10 years, I’m new to the area and now Shopping at the Costco on Webster Jasmine Ave. Overall experience at the food court was awful. Mercedes was rude like she was doing me a favor by getting me the pizza I ordered. I asked for the hot dogs and sodas I also ordered and she was just not happy and literally threw the hot dogs at the counter. Just very bad experience.

    I am commenting here because I cannot rate Costco Technical and Warranty Service at Costco.com.

    1. Please read the information about the Allstate 3 Years Drops & Spills Protection (For New Computers $500 & Above). You are paying for the warranty you already have. Please go to the manufacturer directly to obtain an extended warranty. (Read the fine print).

    2. It would be best if you did count on the Costco Extended two-year warranty and did not call Costco Technical and Warranty Service at 1-866-861-0450 to obtain warranty information and assistance. They have nothing in writing and no idea what to do if you need help. Do not waste your time. I was informed by calling Costco Technical and Warranty Service that only verbal information would be given. After speaking to the supervisor and repeating myself at least ten times, I got a response to my open case in writing (I was told). It took me over an hour to reach my goal, actually 1 hour, 14 minutes, and 44 seconds, including the survey.

    Below is an extract from Costco.com – do not count on them precisely because it is up to 2 years, and you do not know what it means. Costco extends the manufacturer’s warranty on the following items for up to 2 years from the date of warehouse purchase or date of delivery if the item was purchased online:

    • Computers*

    I've been a member of Costco for a few months now, and while there are definitely some perks to shopping here, my overall experience has left me underwhelmed and regretful about my membership. Let's start with the positives. Costco's food selection is fantastic. The quality, variety, and value of their food products are hard to beat. From fresh produce to bakery items and bulk goods, you can find some incredible deals on high-quality items that make the REGULAR membership fee worthwhile if you're a frequent shopper.

    However, my enthusiasm for the food is dampened by the less-than-ideal aspects of shopping at Costco. First, there's the incessant card checking: you have to show your membership card twice, once to enter and again at the checkout. It's almost as if they think you're going to sneak in after the first check. This constant card flashing can be annoying and feels unnecessary.

    I saw in another review that they tend to be more aggressive with the card checks with minorities, and while time will tell if that is the case, I have to say that I am NEVER skipped. Six people passed the greeter at the front the last time I was there, but he was sure to stop me and say "CARD." Every time I go, I've noticed that people have passed with no effort, while I have never had that success. It definitely feels weird, and initially, I assumed I was just unlucky, but after reading similar experiences from others, I can't help but wonder.

    Furthermore, the persistent promotion of the Executive Membership is a bit exhausting. They seem to push it at every opportunity, and it's not a great fit for everyone. If it were as great as they say, they wouldn't have to work so hard to push it on folks. If you don't spend thousands of dollars a year at Costco, it might not be worth it, making these sales pitches feel excessive and pushy. Not just at the register, where it would make sense, people will literally bug you while you are reading a label or trying to converse with family to interject an upsell.

    My biggest frustration, though, has been with Costco's customer service. I recently purchased a refrigerator, and it arrived late and damaged. When I contacted customer service, it took far too long to get a response. They initially offered me minimal credit, which seemed inadequate for the damage to a fridge. When I opted for the repair, the communication between Costco and the technician was abysmal, causing weeks of delays. It's currently October 3rd, and I'm still waiting for my fridge to be properly fixed after reporting the issue on August 30th. This level of delay and miscommunication is simply unacceptable.

    In conclusion, while the food selection at Costco is fantastic, - it's not enough to outweigh the frustrations caused by the membership policies, subpar customer service, and potential disparities in card-checking practices (...and there is a Wegmann's close-by). Constant card checks and aggressive promotion of the Executive Membership can make the shopping experience less enjoyable for some. Additionally, the slow and ineffective response to a damaged product has left me deeply dissatisfied. I will not be renewing my membership, and I already regret that decision a bit. I hope Costco takes these concerns to heart and works on improving these aspects of their service in the future.

    Was coaxed into buying a executive membership instead of the gold card that I originally wanted. I didn't even register my second card. I called numerous times to be refunded from executive to gold and was denied. Now I tried calling again (4th time) and am still being denied to refund the card to a gold member. I'm not even trying to get full refund. I just want to be a gold member, not a executive ($60 difference). Don't bother trying executive if you aren't completely sure because they will NOT refund you, if you're not satisfied, as promised. :( Won't be back next year!

    This is the tenth time we have ordered appliances from Costco. We had such a terrible experience. The delivery guy came 8 hours outside the window, two of the appliances were damaged, one of the appliance was a different brand, we needed three appointments to get the installations done correctly and after two months, we still have not received the right range! It may be the local team in Pittsburgh, PA but it has been a horrible experience and there is no escalation mechanism with Costco Online orders.

    Purchased 6 new kitchen appliances. Delivery, Installation and removal of old appliances was part of the purchase. Delivery men were unprofessional and inept.

    They were not able to remove the fridge doors to remove the old one or install the new one. Without warning they left the new refrigerator OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR, and simply left. To repeat - they left the new refrigerator OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR and left. In fact, it was so close to the front door that my wife was trapped in the condo. She had to call her son in law to move the fridge enough for her to exit. We had to figure out how to move the fridge into the condo ourselves.

    The delivery men put the washer and dryer back on the truck before they left. 10 minutes later we received a email from Costco confirming delivery and installation was completed! After 90 minutes on phone telling this story repeatedly Costco promised to finish delivery, installation and removal next week. In the meantime, new appliances are sitting in the living room and partially disassembled appliances litter the kitchen. Our confidence is not high. They offered a $300 reimbursement for our troubles.

    Costco's installation contractors are less than sub-par. They failed to turn off the water before disconnecting old dishwasher. Water flowed onto the kitchen cabinet, floor, and leaked into the floor/ceiling and dripped into the finished basement in 6-8 spots. Estimates were from $6-8K from three repair contractors. Costco did not assist in remedial action. We were told to "work it out" with the local contracted installer. NINE months later, they sent a check to cover the lowest estimate.

    Total number of calls, estimates, them missing four appointments, phone calls, emails, and of course lack of responses in the nine months - enough to really make anyone angry. Costco may have best "price", but be aware, their installers will make you pay more - in frustration, time, complete inconveniences, and so much more. That was the last case, previous case wasn't nearly as bad. We had a refrigerator installed. Contractor scuffed the walls in the stairway pretty bad. However, they came back to fix the walls. While this wasn't nearly as bad as the dishwasher experience, it still created frustration and inconvenience.

    I made a membership and got my cards SAME DAY! I paid with my Discover card and went to get my shop on! It was fantastic and kind of better than Sam’s even if by the smallest margin. Got everything I need in a good amount of time but when I got the checkout counter and they scanned all my items I went to pay and they DON'T ACCEPT DISCOVER CARDS!!!! Only Visas which is insane!!!! How can I buy my membership with my Discover but not buy groceries with it? Do better Costco!!

    I went to Costco.com to order a washer/dryer set to be delivered and set up at home. I placed the order, and a delivery schedule calendar popped up, showing me the dates available for delivery. I selected the first available date to be only 4 days from the order date. After I selected that date, I got a message that Costco would call me the night before with the delivery timeframe for the next day. I was busy and couldn't answer the phone when I got the call, expecting a voice message with the timeframe. Instead, I got a message that I needed to call them back. When I did have the time to call them back, they said since I didn't answer the phone, they canceled my delivery, and the earliest they could deliver was now a week out. That was unacceptable, so I canceled my order.

    I will buy it from a competitor of theirs instead. Oh, and the icing on the cake was I tried to cancel the order using the online website, and it failed multiple times, so I had to call the Costco support telephone number and go through that automated phone tree from hell. I entered my 10-digit order number, which said we have to transfer you to a representative, so much for it being an automated process. Well, the first thing the representative asked for was my order number. This pissed me off even more since the phone system should have passed that information to them. I gave it to them, and then I had to verify my name and address. This pissed me off even more. I asked how many people call and give a valid 10-digit order number to cancel randomly. Long story short, I canceled the order and will buy from a competitor.

    Lucky me that my appliances decided to stop working at once.. I ordered dishwasher first from Costco online and the delivery took a month without no proper communication. The main issues comes with the dryer I ordered. I chatted with costco agent and they guided even if you have gas dryer and you like to replace with electric you can do that without any prerequisites. So I ordered electric. This happened twice as the first order did go through though the payment was deducted from my bank and I'm still fighting for my refund. Almost 40 days now.. well the second time delivery guy refused to bring the machine inside my house as he said, "You have gas connection and need electric setup before we install this.." They canceled that order and asked me to order a gas dryer..

    Now I ordered gas order. Only to find out that it was delivered damaged and the guy who was installing the machine was so mad not sure on who but was swearing and mind it I was alone at home and I'm 4 months pregnant. Another failed attempt. Now they left machine in between the walkway my bedrooms saying, "We are coming back to pickup this piece." Well guess what that never happened and I was about to fall so many times passing through that narrow passage. It's been 20 days. No one come to pickup up. Now I was waiting for the exchange and they don't have that same machine in stock and I had to order the expensive version.

    While talking to them on the phone they are not calling it harassment but just the minor miscommunication and offered me 50$ compensation. Really you think this whole thing is just a minor thing? I left tons of feedback everywhere as I can but doesn't feel like they really care. I'm thinking to sue them with all the stress they gave me during my pregnancy days. I'm expecting delivery and haul away on tomorrow the September 12th. Will keep posted what happens now. I have no hope from them. Still waiting for my refund for 3 machines I ordered in exchange.

    My electric stove burned out within 3 years of purchase, and I decided to go with Costco this time for their extended warranty. As I have 3 small kids to feed, I could not delay the purchase. I visited to the one closer to my house - Costco Wholesale, 100 Billy Bishop Way, Toronto. I was interested in one of those they put it out this week which my cousin sent a picture from Markham Costco. Its a Samsung Electric Range priced $799.99. At Billy Bishop I found its sold-out and I was directed to go to another Costco at 55 New Huntington Rd, Woodbridge and I was told there are 3 in the display. By that time, I had only 3 hours left to pick up my children from school. I decided to quickly rent a van and went straight to that Costco. There was a person who came to help me load the stove and she loaded the wrong LG stove in the cart.

    Luckily, I found out before paying and I went and asked the person at the counter again to send help to get the Samsung Electric stove. No one came I waited 15 mins and asked another person. He came, checked and said yes we have 3 but it might be up in the shelf and they can only bring that down when the store is closed. I told them that I was directed from other Costco to go here to get the stove and I already rented the van. He then checked the system and said go straight to the Costco at 71 Colossus Dr, Woodbridge as they have 3 available on floor.

    I called the school that I am going to be late to pick up my kids and went straight to the Costco at 71 Colossus Dr, Woodbridge. There at the entrance I asked the lady that I don't have much time left and to request someone to help me with stove pickup. She asked me to go to the electric appliances area and wait till the help arrives. I waited 15 mins. No one came. I went again to ask for help. A Costco employee came and checked all the boxes and said its all sold out. I said I just came from another Costco and they are the one directed me to go here. I asked him to check the stocks again. He came back and said yes we do have but it might be up in the shelf and I must come back again just before they close the store to get that.

    I wonder, if Costco has a product displayed for sale and say that they have it in stock, can they tell a customer that they cant sell it because its way up in the shelf? what is the point of having store pick here? If they want us to come at closing time, then they should have instructed that clearly and at earliest convenience. If they can't store these appliances in a reachable way, why would they have that displayed for sale. Costco should restrict this to online sale with the delivery option only. If the employees of Costco can not bring the product down from the shelf during business hours and if this is the norm, then why would they instruct me to go to from one Costco to another? It is simply waste of time and money.

    My whole day went n driving around from one Costco to another, wasted 7 hours and came home paying about 145 $ on rental and picked up my kids from school late with the warning from the principal. Please Costco do something to fix this or designate a place where we can go and pick up appliances when we need it. A big reputable store like Costco can do better with its huge storage space (bigger than Home Depot). Organize it properly and utilize the space you have. Do not treat your customers like this. Instruct your employees to give proper direction to customers.

    l ordered a very expensive range from Costco. Almost $4k with taxes. It was supposed to be delivered Aug 2. Costco cancelled delivery with no explanation or new date. This morning, I got a text message from Costco saying the delivery was coming TODAY at 2:00. We scrambled to get the old appliance disconnected, per Costco instructions. The new appliance never arrived. I called customer service and was told that the earliest the appliance can arrive is Aug 14. The CSR said she didn't know why I received the text and had no authority to help me other than to apologize and schedule the delivery. This certainly wasn't the fault of some poor call center worker. But to Costco logistics, I say, "you suck; do better!" This is my first and last major purchase from Costco.

    I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator in 2022 and it stop working and I have still lost food twice. I didn't report it the first time since he continued working the next day, today I lost my food again and the refrigerator failed again. I called customer service today and they told me that I should contact Whirlpool and that they would send me a technician, isn't it fair that being new they come out in bad condition and Costco sends me Whirlpool???? I bought it at costco...it came out defective from the factory and they should give me the credit to buy a new one, it's not fair to repair something new that I pay them in cash. Very disappointed with your company, I hope for a prompt solution. I've been with you for 10 years and you don't help me???

    On Wednesday August 02, 2023, I went to Costco in Surrey to purchase a prime rib roast. As there was none out, I spoke to Ron, the butcher. He told me that during summer they don't sell prime rib (management decision); however, he would gladly cut me a roast to the size I wanted. I picked it up in 5 mins... to my delight, the freshest 3 bone prime rib I have ever seen, red and perfectly marbled. I am so appreciative of Ron's willingness to go above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Thank you again, Ron. Costco is so lucky to have you as staff.

    Bought and paid in full for appliances. Only to find out that they were damaged/used. Delivery drivers have no respect for home owners. Rude and threatened to call police for not signing an invoice. Other smelled of Marijuana and using foul language in my Home. 10 feet away from my children. Other washed dirty hands in the sink and then used dish towel without asking. Brand new Floors damaged during delivery then lied about doing so. Almost a year later Costco is refusing to accept they sold me used appliances and still trying to figure out a fair and reasonable outcome.

    I purchase some items and ask the cashier if I could pay $45.00 in cash. She told me, "I don't do that." Not specifically explaining what she meant. At the end of purchase I asked for my $5.00 in change. She told me, "I told you I don't do that." With a high tone of voice. I was left with no cash to buy anything at food court. She did not greet me. If you are having a bad day call out. We pay to shop at Costco and we should have a good experience every time we go shopping. At this rate I am comparing you to a Walmart cashier. I guess that's why all my family members shop at La Habra or Cypress. I want to shop in Norwalk to keep our tax dollars in our city. But with this customer service I think I will start driving to get better customer service.

    I received rewards certificates annually. These rewards are earned when using my Costco CITI Visa. I cannot credit the earnings to my credit card balance. I have to go to Costco Customer Service to get my certificate. I have to use the certificate for purchases at Costco. I have a number of other issues with my membership, but this particular idiocy may be the final reason for ending my membership.

    Costco automatically renewed my membership about a year ago. I rarely go there and wanted to stop the auto renewal process. It took more than 20 minutes of clicking in circles to finally try just canceling the credit card and that finally did it. There was no clear direction on how to stop the membership. How many people say screw it and just let it auto renew because these mercenaries want $120 more than you imagine you need to pay rent or buy food. The more difficult they made it to stop using them the more I was determined to absolutely stop. The prices were not that much better than elsewhere and even WalMart had more personable customer service.

    I had an accident with the guys who pushed the shopping carts, as soon I got done they started accusing me and yelling on me that it ended my fault. They not even help me, they only cursing on me. The adjuster called me days later and basically said to me that it was my fault everything that happens that day, very disrespectful and rude as the employees at the store. No apologies at all.

    Recently I had a poor Costco customer service on my order. Below is a summary of the pains and problems my family and I went through just because of false promises on delivery, not just once but 4 times for the same order.

    May 21: I ordered an LG Refrigerator and Washer/Dryer for my new home with a scheduled delivery date of June 8 which is right before the housewarming of the new home. I moved to my new home on June 7 and did my housewarming on June 9.

    June 8: The items were not delivered on June 8 and they didn't even informed me about it until I called them. Due to not having the refrigerator, most of the freshly cooked food got spoiled due to weather temperatures. Then, I got a new delivery date which was June 19.

    June 19: Again, no email, no communication about delivery rescheduled. It got rescheduled for June 22 with no reason. Me and my family with two young kids lived without a refrigerator till this date.

    June 22: I had full hope, the appliances would be delivered but it didn't. I had ordered groceries in bulk to keep in refrigerator but most of them got spoiled. My kids didn't have proper food and milk for many days. When I called the logistics, I came to know that there was some disruption at the main center and my items will be delivered with a new date. The frustrating part is nobody was telling about the delivery updates and I came to know only when I called them. So frustrating. I was promised in an email that the delivery will be done on June 28.

    June 28: I had full hope this time as well because I had an automated voice call confirmation from Costco about delivery and text messages. But it was again disappointed. The delivery guy brought it only one time and that was Dryer. It's common sense that, what someone will do it with a dryer if there is no washer. What will I dry? I don't have washer to wash my clothes. At the time of delivery, Refrigerator was cancelled by Costco and money was refunded on the day of delivery after 40+ days of order. My credit card was charged and bill was generated.

    With this worst experience from Costco delivery, we couldn't enjoy our new home. All this put me and my family under so much stress and frustration. I would be happy If Costco would have told me that we can't deliver due to any reason OR informed me well in advance that there is a problem with my delivery so I can prepare myself. It impacted me and my family mentally a lot.

    My husband and I have been members forever; but today we finally quit Costco. Hubby is primary on the account and I went in on my own several months ago, shopped approx. $400 in groceries, had our rebate check from our $120 annual membership for $51.41 and I told the clerk we need to renew our membership too. They would not take the $51.41 rebate check toward either the groceries or membership and the manager was very rude about it. I went to customer service, where after speaking with two different people, was told the clerk should have taken the check toward our new membership.

    I left the store stating I would never return. Hubby was so upset and so taken aback that he said, “no way — they owe us that $51.41 and we are going to get something for it. After arguing with ‘Grace’, another unskilled, untrained manager, she relented to our purchase and asked hubby for his card, like it was a bad credit card that needed cutting up. Costco has lost two very loyal customers today and their management is poor, again, zero customer service skills. No apologies, only mean-spirited, petty, pouty, service. Terrible. Way to much competition out there to be treated this way. Shame on you Costco.

    Today, I went to Costco and I decided to use the self-checkout. Before I went to use the register an employee stop me and asked me if she could see my membership. I looked at her confused and asked why? Instead of answering my question. She replied again, "Can I see your membership." I responded, "After you answered me why you want to see my membership." She said, "There’s a lot of people using other people’s membership or parents sending their kids." First thing that came to my mind was why would Costco have an employee check for membership. Do it at the register and if you find a customer using someone else membership fix the problem at the moment by offering a membership not by embarrassing them. That’s not professional, making the customer feel like criminals. They make you feel like you can’t afford a membership.

    If it bothers Costco that much that parents are sending their kids to purchase items. Costco should come up with a kid's membership at a lower cost. Since is for the same household or just print a kid's membership at no cost for the teenagers. No matter what, Costco it’s a huge business making lots of money. Don’t make your customers feel uncomfortable. My membership it’s my Costco credit card and is not cool that they ask for it. I’m really upset that they asked me for my membership, they should have check at the register since they have employee working at the self-checkout.

    Worst customer service I have ever experienced - shouted across the store I was in violation of their membership policy because I was shopping for my dad with his Costco card - which had an additional user on there anyway - Understandable. You have to follow policies but don’t have your “supervisors” treat people like they are criminals and make them feel degraded and disrespected when our family has been loyal customers for over a decade. Terrible experience - please train your supervisors to handle situations with grace, in lieu of treating customers degradingly and non-compassionately. Have some respect and caring for your customers, or at least the bare minimum common decency given to other individuals.

We decided to go in through the exit as it’s closer to the food court and we were hungry for pizza before shopping, the lady checking recipes screamed at us to go around. Later after shopping we went to self checkout and rather than being offered help we were asked to see our membership card and treated as if we weren’t members. Overall considering canceling after today's visit.

    I ordered two Apple watches of 45mm size. But Costco online sent me two 41mm watches. I returned them and asked to reorder. Struggling with them for this for a month now. Still they didn't reorder. They took time from giving the shipping label, process my refund items, check the items, approval for reorder.. Oh my god. They are not refunding or reordering. It's not my fault. Still they are irresponsible. Costco purchases in warehouse and customer service are good. But never buy anything costco online. Especially returns with online. They are killing your time and patience. For the past one month I am struggling with them, still they didn't give the resolution. Everytime they says that they will do the re-order but no date.

    I stopped by local Costco Warehouse today to pick up a few items-bath towels, shirt, shoes, shorts for my husband - Father's Day is this weekend after all. To be exact, there were seven items in the shopping cart. I used self-checkout to avoid the long lines. Problem came up when I was done with my checkout. Only half receipt printed with two items on it - the printer is out of paper. Then the assistant installed new paper, printing continued. But this time, only the bottom portion of the receipt printed, missing a few items in the middle although it says "7 Items" in the end. The assistant told me that I could leave Costco using the half receipts because it says 7 items in the end, should have no problem at the exit. Or, she said, if I need a full receipt for some reason, I need to get in line at a help desk/office to have them run a duplicate invoice for me (issue #1).

    I did not need an invoice, so I proceed to the exit with two half receipts. The lady at the exit stopped me and told me that she needs to see the full receipt. I told her what happened and what the checkout assistant told me. But she didn't want any of that. She held my cart, made me stand at the exit, while she called other employees to get a duplicate receipt copy. I stood at the exit and waited for 10 minutes as other shoppers pass me as they exit. (issue #2).

    As I was waiting, this lady stopped another member because a gigantic case of water was scanned. She used stern voice sending this lady back: the water is not scanned, you need to go back to the cashier. (issue #3)

    Finally, a couple of other employees came with the duplicate receipt. They counted every item in my cart, compared with the receipt, and said, ok, now she can go - as if releasing a criminal or suspect of some sort. (issue #4)

    Issue #1 - I was not the one that caused receipt printing problem, I was not the one who needed to make sure that there is paper in the printer. Yet COSTCO employee had no problem putting the burden or inconvenience on me. Who allowed them that sense of entitlement?

    Issue #2 & 3 - There are clearly process deficiencies. One employee is saying one thing and the other one saying something else. There is lack of unity and consistency. And for the customer with her water bottles, it's obviously the checkout clerk's oversight because it's huge and it's right there in the cart. Yet in both cases, COSTCO employees behaved in a way as if the customers did something wrong.

    Issue #4 - After everything cleared up. None of the employees apologized for the poor service, and inconvenience they have caused, but simply said: now she can go.

    COSTCO, membership fees are your highest margin income, @>$4B for fiscal year 2022. Almost 100% margin. 72% of net income. You ought to teach your employees to respect and appreciate all the members who pay their paychecks!

    I've never been mad. First time for everything. I will never order anything again. They refused to take my mattress. They didn't even look at. When I asked them where they were going, one guy walked up and said, "We can't take anything that's Contaminated." I get that. I read that. I knew that however That little ring at the bottom of the side of dust I didn't consider Contamination so I simply took a blower, blew it off and buy my Drug my queen mattress back into my house. I will keep it a while longer until I find something somewhere else. I will be returning the mattress that was delivered today because that is not what I paid for, A mattress and a mattress to be hauled off. Thanks for nothing Costco.

    Order placed included cost of two day delivery. After almost a week, order still not shipped. Cannot email Costco, so called. Customer service agreed that it had not been shipped, but had no answer or fix. Asked that the order be cancelled since it was not delivered in two days, and in fact had not been shipped. I was told that it was being cancelled. Not only was it not cancelled, it still is listed as order placed, but still not shipped. Have had several orders delivered late, but this is ridiculous. Have had no problems with Sam’s Club. Surprisingly, delivered on time.

    We have been loyal Costco members, up until we purchased a new fridge. We bought it from Costco because they always have great customer service, however it seems things have changed. Our fridge was installed by who we thought was Costco, and it wasn't until 1.5 months later that we realized a bad waterline connection and slow leak had flooded our adjacent room. We reached out to Costco and we were sent to the logistics contractor, who sent us to the delivery contractor, who refused to pay for any damages. We are now 4 months into an insurance claim with no end in sight. There is no ownership from Costco in this matter and their contractors are no better. We would have been better off going with a local company who stands behind their workmanship.

    I signed up as an Executive Member at Costco and applied for the Citi Card. The card never came to my home. I went to the Costco store in Green Bay, WI for assistance. I met with Georgia who proceeded to make it her life's mission to fix the problem.     I bought a HP envy x360 laptop from Costco.ca one year and 10 months ago, now the hinge holder suddenly broken when I try close the lid, then I contact Costco immediately and they give their service provider's phone. Ask me contact them directly, that company name is Asurion, I tried go back and forth with this company for a whole week, they didn't do anything, just gave all kind of excuses on the files say information not correct, finally I called them and correct all things with them, then finally they said the damage not covered by the warranty, then I go back ask Costco, Costco give HP phone number, ask call HP, but when I call HP, they said the warranty is only one year, so I go back to Costco again, this time they said it is not covered by their 2 year warranty,

    So from here, I can see this thing is totally a cheat from the very beginning, although this issue is a well known common issue on the market if you google it on the internet, no one will responsible for it, in fact, this is totally HP quality control issue, many users use this model of laptop one year after, will have a big chance to get this problem and the cost for repair it is around $500! This is totally not acceptable for us.

    Updated on 05/14/2023: So I have already written about Costco Appliances. They were coming 4th time today and still didn't deliver it. It is for my rental properties. I am still waiting and hoping it to go through 5th time.

    Original Review: Bottom line, don't get your appliances from Costco, they will screw you. I placed appliances order well in advance and so far it has been rescheduled twice. The delivery team is like bunch of thugs come and just don't listen. The first time they said that "The delivery is on the second floor, and our legs hurt so we will reschedule it." Despite requesting that I will be out of country for a week, and my tenants are coming in 2 days. All went to deaf ears. I reached out to the call center and they treat you as a second class citizen just because you have an accent.

    The 2nd time, I had explained that taking time off work is not easy, and I want the delivery to be either before 7am or during 12 to 1pm window. I was given 12 - 2 pm window. I kept waiting outside in case they don't see me and leave. I kept calling the whole day if they are coming or are near, never picked up phone. Well after 2 pm driver called and said since I changed the time, the delivery is been bumped up and I will have to reschedule. I insisted that I want it today. Again super disrespectful and hung-up eventually. I am still awaiting my appliance delivery.

    I love the Costco store but their concierge service is terrible and it started six months after I bought the TV. The TV had a little back dot on the screen. I then called the local store and was told that it was out of the 90-day window. I thought ok, the local store can't help, let's go to the concierge and get some help. A few weeks go by and I take several pictures and email the team and then get a, "No can help you sir." I then ask them, "Now what," and they responded that I have to call the Allstate warranty department. I think, "Ok let's see what they can do."

    Allstate says they can't help because it is still covered under the warranty from Costco and so now I am thinking, "Nice work, Costco." This started in 2021, six months after I bought the tv until today 05/2023. I now have to wait 3 more days to now reach out to Allstate's extended warranty. Now for context, the issue started with a black dot, what could this back dot be, a dead pixel, a bad light sensor, nope, it was a mosquito and Costco didn't want to send someone out to investigate. This back dot was almost a year and a half ago, but today's episode is the flashing red light on the Hisense TV that will not turn on. Let's see if the extra 35.00 was worth it for the Allstate extended warranty. I will try and keep you updated.

    Team arrived later than the time window I was given, with zero communication. One was obviously having a bad day and did not try to hide it. They took my front door off then when they reattached it, the deadbolt would not lock. They left garbage behind. And when I reminded him to level the fridge, he told me I needed to do that myself! He also did not show me anything about the fridge...He told me to read the manual. Very disappointed in the whole experience.

    Costco Wholesale at 7000 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95621. Costco needs to train its employees how to take their customers better. Today, I shopped this Costco, and I was on my way out of the store, there were two lines; I stayed on the left line, and suddenly, one customer ahead of me did not pay for his pack of water, and a checkout lady and a manager still deal with this customer, they did not take him out the way and take care the customers behind. Therefore, I changed my line to the right line to hand my receipt over to another lady on the right who checked our receipts; suddenly, she raised her voice and said, "you cut my customer's line to make it slow for them" and "I help you this time, but next time you have to stay your line." I said, "they are still taking care of that customer issue, and that line did not move, you see." She said, "it doesn't matter; you have to stay your line."

    I moved out of the store; I was not satisfied with this kind of service; what kind of customer service the manager trained employees? Who is their manager to train this employee, the behavior, attitude, reaction, and no respect for their customers? All the employees at all kinds of customer service should know how to take care of their customers, not just yell and raise their voices to them; at least give customers respect and friendly advice; we are customers, totally understand. This Costco has 100% failed quality customer service. We want to avoid shopping this Costco. With the unsatisfying feeling, we don't want to go and shop from Costco. They need to train their employees in good customer service; when one line has an issue, the other should open it to everyone for checking out. I need them to apologize and say sorry to me, and customers are unsatisfied with this lousy service.

    Unfortunately, after my purchase, I was out of country for family medical emergency. After I unwrapped my laptop, I completed windows 11 setup. Later sometime, I restarted my laptop to login and realized laptop screen was not working. I returned back US on march 1st week, then I contacted Costco for help. They couldn't solve and forwarded to MSI. MSI asked me to send my laptop for repair. I was really disappointed with COSTCO that 90 days returns policy doesn't have options for people like me who is out of country during the 90 days period. I was really heartbroken and disappointed with Costco on my brand new laptop. Now I have a feel of using refurbished laptop.

    Absolutely awful customer service and membership structure. I shared an account with a former roommate, paid for an executive upgrade, and was summarily removed without any contact or explanation. Customer support was awful, blamed me for not being the primary account holder - which I wasn't made aware doing the sign up process - and didn't really care or try to find a solution. Such a bummer since I like the selection and used to spend thousands of dollars a year at Costco.

    It's needless to say that inflation has been raging across Canada. I find that the higher the prices go, the saving room by shopping at Costco narrows. Costco jacks up the price tags on the essentials, Staples and the basic basket of goods much more aggressively than other big box stores. The price of boneless chicken has doubled in 2 months. I usually shop in my local warehouse every 2 weeks and see prices increased by 10-20% during every and each visit. It's obvious that Costco is taking advantage of the inflation and engaging in price gouging.

    We are super upset! We went to one Costco location to buy sofas, they ran out one of them and direct us to 42 Overlea Blvd. The next day we drove 45 mins to this location, and has been told that sofa was out of stock, because they hold it for other members. I called before I came to the store and also asked staffs from the first location we went: if we can pre-hold, but they all said no to me. Also, we need to pick up right after we buy it. So we arranged truck and go, guess what. This location hold it for other customers. This is not fair that what they do is so different for customers.     Went in to a Costco store to learn (and view) about the latest TVs in the market. A very knowledgeable representative took the time to explain the various options for TV screens and, base on our specific wish list and budget recommended a Sony model that just happened to be in stock (both at the store and online). Given the large size (would not fit in my SUV) the rep recommended instead we purchase the unit online which got us a free delivery, plus optional installation. We gladly did so, right there and then (in the store, with his assistance) using the APP, and went home happy awaiting instructions on its delivery.

    A couple of hour later we get an e-mail confirming a sale CANCELLATION without clearly explaining the reasons. We assumed it had to do with the credit card and immediately contacted our credit card bank who informed us the amount had been pre-approved and that there were no issues whatsoever. We called Costco customer support who took half an hour to tell us it seemed the cancellation was due to the amount in the purchase being too large for a relatively new customer, and to try again. We did so only to get a "Product not available" indication--despite being in stock earlier and also in stock at the local store. The rep suggested I went in and bought it at the store BUT subjected to NO longer free delivery which would imply renting a U-Haul to pick the unit up ourselves. Unbelievable! But most important UNACCEPTABLE! I will be cancelling our membership.

    I called Costco.com customer service. Spoke to a rep. Everything was going fine. She told me she would check on my question. After wasting 25 minutes of my time she disconnected the call.     Beware on large item purchases. Did twice and both times after taking the money from our account, a month or longer after, they cancelled order, did a refund, and had to reorder. One was a computer, the other was a gazebo. Still haven't received and they have had our money for 5 weeks. Just talked to customer service (3rd time). Suppose to be here tomorrow.... right!

    I ordered groceries from Costco Jan. 29, 2023, the order was delivered. The price was $217.00 including a $10.00 tip. Today when looking at my credit card I was charged $250.00, I called Costco and they told me to call Instacart, I did and was told that was the fee for having Instacart delivery. Nowhere on the Costco site does it say there is an Instacart fee. Instacart call was very difficult to understand the person I spoke to, I think he said this charge will be removed in 7-10 days! Costco needs to let people know there will be an extra $33.00 charge for delivery. My last order was the exact price that was on my delivery order. This is no way to do business.

    Day by day Costco is getting greedy. I go to Costco to buy Name brands at right price not Kirkland. Many name brand things which I like to buy I getting replaced by Kirkland **. They can carry their brands but not at the cost of discontinuing the established brands. Very recently I see Kirkland canned whipped cream replaced from Land O Lake brand which is an excellent brand. There are many other examples. I be a suggestion for Costco. Change Your company Name to Kirkco. This whole thing is disgusting.

    I purchased a refrigerator from Costco.com in December 2022 for my unit in San Diego, CA. Costco.com called me to coordinate the delivery. Costoco.com coordinator the delivery team will call me half an hour before before the delivery since this is Costco's policy. I received a automatic voice call from Costco logistic team to advise me the delivery time the night before the delivery. I took a day off and drove from LA to San Diego to wait for the delivery. Costco Logistic delivery team didn't call half an hour in advance as per their policy. Costco Logistic delivery did not even show up. Costco Logistic delivery team called me to left me a voicemail to reschedule the delivery. On the second day, I called to reschedule the delivery.

    I received an automatic voice call from Costco Logistic team to advise me the delivery time the night before delivery. The delivery time was set between 2:00pm~4:00pm. I took another day off and drove from LA to San Diego again for delivery. However, Costco Logistic delivery team called and left me a voicemail at 7:00pm to tell me they might be able to delivery the unit around 8:00pm. I made a U-Turn to drive back the San Diego. However, Costco Logistic delivery team called me and left me a voicemail at 7:45pm that they were unsuccessfully since no one at home and wanted me to reschedule the delivery. On the second day, I called again to reschedule the deliver in January 2023. Costco Logistic delivery team came by and dropped the unit and left. I have to spend two hours to remove the protection films myself afterwards.

    I ordered another two appliances from Costco.com. They were Washer & Dryer. I scheduled the delivery date on 01/25/2023. I received an automate voice phone message on the night before the delivery. I was advised the delivery time would be between 2:00pm to 4:00pm on 01/25/2023. I took a day off and drove all the way from LA to San Diego to wait for the delivery. I stayed inside the unit at all time. No one even comes to the house. Costco Logistic delivery team left a voice message to my phone that I was not available at the house and I need to reschedule the delivery. I called the dispatch center immediately to advise the driver that I was home. However, the dispatch center told me that the delivery team already far away. The dispatch contacted the delivery team to check whether they could return to my location for delivery. The delivery team promised they would return to my area before 6:00pm for delivery.

    I waited until 9:00pm on 01/25/2023 and I gave up and drove me. I totally lost 5 days of work and patiently for the delivery. Costco Logistic delivery team continuously gave the untruth statement and skipped the delivery. This is completely unacceptable. I lost all confident to Costco.com and their delivery team. How can I continue to purchase appliances from Costco.com with all of these issues? How can I trust Costco anymore? This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable to waste their customer's time and money so that Costco can gain their profits.

    After a long outing with the family and completing over 300$ in groceries I realized I forgot my Costco card and somehow I forgot all my I.D. at HOME in another pants, unabe to purchase much-needed groceries! I shamefully asked the patron in front of me if she could let me be a guest on her card only to be denied. Thankfully the supervisor Tamara at Costco in Etobicoke saw what was happening and was able to get me a temporary card with the help of Novolette. They were both exceptionally pleasant and professional even keeping my wife and baby entertained while I made them wait for me to sort out my own mess.

    I ordered a computer on Black Friday through Costco.com. A week later I received the shipping box EMPTY. No computer in the box. I immediately called customer service. They explained to me that the situation would have to be “investigated” and that I would receive the next steps as to what I needed to do in 24 to 48 hours. I asked to speak to a supervisor because I was so upset that I was out $1200 with nothing to show for it knowing very well that nobody cares that I didn’t receive my computer. The supervisor told me that I needed to file a police report in order to expedite my refund even though the shipping box had no evidence of tampering. I was treated suspiciously on the phone by the supervisor and I was outraged.

    It has now been over a week and I still have not heard from anybody from Costco. I am completely in the dark. All I keep getting are standardize emails telling me that they are taking longer than normal to respond to emails. I have learned my lesson that I will NEVER order another thing through Costco online. They have lost my trust completely. I should’ve just gone to the Apple store. I would’ve received way better treatment through their customer service.

    I purchased a washer and drier combo, not even the one we wanted but that one was on backorder. So we purchased this one. I stated delivery date of December 10th, today is that day and nothing so I called after a few minutes they came back and said, "Sorry. Backed ordered. It will be ready for delivery January 30th." I explained all above to them and never received an email or call telling me of the delay so I'm at home waiting for my washer and drier. They said it can be cancelled but I explained about the Black Friday specials and this does nothing for the situation unless they are willing to honor the same discount but they said no. I order plenty from Costco and usually all is good but now on an item that is needed they dropped the ball. Cautionary tale, don't trust anything, call on everything especially Costco as they show to have poor follow through or followup.

    I learned my lesson to not buy appliances from Costco. I purchased a dishwasher from Costco on 11/24. I was given a delivery date on 12/1 and install on 12/2. Delivery was 7 hours after time I was given with zero notice. Install company notified me morning of scheduled day that the installation date was being delayed one week due to a high number of orders. I called their customer service line and was offered $50 or I needed to find a plumber to complete the install. I had to make a decision on the spot and they didn't care about the lost time and inconvenience of me having to hire my own plumber to complete the install. Again, installation was to be included in the price. I was treated like a number and not a member! Buyer beware!

    My last two on-line purchases account for over $3400 but COSTCO has yet to resolve the problems with both purchases. The first was a little over $700 and was only missing a $2 adapter to get the device to work. I called the manufacturer but they told me to call Costco, who after a month now has not been able to get the $2 part so my only option was to go to the trouble of returning the product.

    My last purchase was a 77" TV for over $2700 which included installing it to a stand and removing the shipping material. Well, whoever COSTCO contracts with for delivering a large product was totally useless. Only one guy was sent, I went out to help him carry it in but he insisted he did not need help. I did have to help him remove the TV from the HUGE box and had to help him carry this very large TV into the room. Then he noticed the manufacturer did not included the M6 mounting screws, nor the remote or even a manual. I offered to go and pick up the screws down the street at ACE but he just wanted to leave, so he did, leaving this HUGE box and packing material in my sun room and this very large TV against my furniture in my Family room.

    I called Costco and they promised expedited help to either get me the missing material or exchange it for another. Well, like before, COSTCO must have so many problems that expedited means 5-7 business days (or over 30 days before) and Thanksgiving is just a few days away with many guests arriving from out of state. I tried to send COSTCO an email but COSTCO does NOT allow this. Next time I'll just go to AMAZON, pay a little more sometimes but their Customer Service have never let me down and ALWAYS resolved ANY issue that day to my complete satisfaction, no more COSTCO for me.

    First off, I love my Costco Warehouse and this review is of my experience in Edmonton with purchase of countertops. They use 3rd party contractors and in my case FloForm countertops, who are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I have a quote with an itemized list without prices and just a total at the bottom, and my Costco contract is a carbonized form with out to date contact info and a summary of what is being done and a total amount. Had a very hard time tracking down someone to talk to at Costco Installation as I called their phone number and was told that my concerns would be passed to a manager and they would get back to me, but no one ever did.

    I ended up going to my local warehouse and the Manager there was very helpful and contacted someone on my behalf. I went to various stone places and received quotes and had Costco come for a consult. I chose Costco as I love Costco and my past experience in buying large items has always been positive, however I learned that their installation services are a different beast. First they charge full price upfront. This takes away a consumer's power as once they have your money you have no leverage if things go south, and they did.

    Floform's professional consultant came and we discussed what I wanted done and I showed her photos of what I was looking for. She talked me out of the glass tiles I wanted for a backsplash in the kitchen and suggested a more trendy style. She came with small samples and did not advise that there would be a possibility of large black areas in the quartz which are very prevalent and it doesn't look anything like what I chose and it looks terrible. There were so many issues with this job, ugly quartz, they measured wrong so countertop in kitchen did not fit, then was told couldn't get anymore and I had to pick a new pattern. I researched and found it was only out of stock but they did not advise this but told me it was discontinued. Then they wanted to use remnants as they had pieces so I would have had seams, NO.

    This company upsells you the highest prices item and since they only have an office in Edmonton and their inventory is in Saskatchewan, you can't go look at your slab prior to being profiled so you get what you get and you have no recourse. I paid almost $20,000 for two 30" bathroom countertops, sinks, faucets and small kitchen countertop, backsplash, and faucet, and I hate it all and am now looking at having to replace my bathroom countertop and my backsplash. This company, approved by Costco, does not communicate with its clients, nor internally as I got a different story from each person I spoke to.

    It was a very torturous experience, very costly. Granite/quartz is sold by the slab and I was told that since they were a large company it wouldn't be any more costly to do each counter in a different pattern. I paid almost $8000 for kitchen and one bathroom countertop and $2500 for the other bathroom countertop. If I have not trusted my gut and gone with another stone provided, I could have done all three countertops with one slab (from other estimates) for $5000 instead of the $8000 for the slab purchased through Costco.

    This was the most difficult experience and I would say that you are better of using someone other than Costco Installation for Countertops in Edmonton. They do offer a $1000 gift card and that draws people in but the customer service is totally lacking and you will have a very unpleasant experience if you use this company. I do not recommend costco installation service and I would stay as far away from floform coutnertops as you possibly can.

    On 15 June 2021, my son gave me a 55" Hisense TV which he bought from Costco on that same day and paid for extended guarantee. The TV stopped working on 5 October 2022 and a complaint was filed with Costco (complaint no. **). On a telephone conversation on the 6th of October 2022, Costco promised to sent their technician to check, and he came the following day. He declared that the TV could not be repaired and submitted his report on the same day to Costco. Since then, this is how Costco has been dribbling me:

    They gave me an e-mail address to send the receipt which I did. They also promised to send their repairer to look at the TV on 7 October and he came. Three days later when I tried to follow up, this is what they said: "We didn’t receive any complaint from you; your complaint was filed to the wrong place; the TV was wrongly priced etc." They finally said they have not yet heard from the Repairer who was sent here last Friday to check, and promised to contact him and update me in two to three business days. I contacted the Repairer and he confirmed he sent them his report on the same Friday of 7 October!

    Four business days later, I was on the phone with Costco for almost two hours only to be told that the TV cannot be repaired. They also said they were discussing reimbursement and after which I will be required to bring the old one with the Credit Card to buy a new one. I was told that someone will reach out to me in the next two to three business days.

    Today, 24 October 2022, I stayed on the phone with Costco again for almost two hours only to be told that someone will reach out to me in the next five to ten business days! What a mess? I Last time they had told me of two to three business days. I am beginning to wonder whether they really want to resolve the problem. They just keep shifting the goalpost.

    I ordered a dishwasher on-line. The on-line info said I would need a deliery appointment and an installation appointment. I was told I would be contacted by the installation company to set an appointment. The information implied that installation could take place the day of delivery. The dishwasher was delivered this morning, but I had not heard from the installation company (Transmotion Inc.) so I called them. They told me the soonest they could install it was 9 days from now because they "don't have anyone in my area right now." I'm very disappointed with this poor service. We'll have 9 days with a large box blocking the kitchen and no working dishwasher.

    Terrible Experience. Wasted my time. I wanted to order a dishwasher. Costco requests that you purchase a membership in order to place an order which I did. I paid $66. The payment was approved and processed. I then purchased the DW. Was waiting for delivery. I received an email instead telling me that my order was declined. Called... placed on hold for an hour... transferred...on hold for 32 min... agent told me that my billing address does not match the delivery address. Ridiculous. I used the same credit card for the membership which was approved. I called my bank and asked them to approve the amount. Bank said that they have no idea what is Costco's problem. Apparently, the Dishwasher was not in stock and they came up with rubbish. I finally ordered from Kitchenaid. Just wasted my time. This place is for people who have plenty of time to go to the locations. I don't.

    I really thought better of Costco and when I saw we had to wait 4 weeks for delivery of a washer and dryer, I accepted it. Finally the day is tomorrow, Tue Oct 4 and we got a call this morning confirming. Good I rest easy. Then just now at 6pm I get a text saying "confirmed for Friday Oct 7". WHAT??? I call the number... no answer of course and I leave a message. Scramble to find my Costco order confirmation and call that number. First agent, puts me on a hold to figure it out and then 10 min later never comes back but another agent does. "The delivery didn't come in Saturday as it was supposed to so it's now Friday" THEN WHY ARE YOU JUST NOW TELLING ME??     COSTCO promote Or sale LENNOX product and installation by its dealers with 10-15% of rebate but customers are end up with poor workmanship of installer/dealer of products. Executive customer assume the COSTCO quality for the big ticket purchase but its an illusion. Poor quality/workmanship cause hardship and more money than % of rebate offered by COSTCO.     Why would Costco charge customers for membership in advance to purchase from Costco? All the groceries business don’t charge customer to buy from their business or taking customers' money in advance for membership, it’s like you want to buy from my business (Costco) you have to have a membership and you pay your money in advance. That’s ridiculous people. Wake up. Costco it’s not cheaper than other groceries business and the quality of Costco products it’s very cheap. People are going for the name not the quality of the products. Since the pandemic Costco has increased each items in his warehouse. $4-10 in foods. That’s not counting the rest of the products, so where are the people saving? Paying in advance for membership, which we can have a free Credit Card and collect points as Costco’s points, many Banks offering credit card on purchase you receive points.

    I will not recommend Costco to anyone. Charging customers for membership in advance taking customers' money and not providing anything in advance to the customer this is unethical. Would Costco allow people to go shopping without membership? Of course not. Why would Costco charging people in advance to go shopping?

    A good company that cannot resolve problems of their own Costco has always been a company that I shop and love to respect but until recently back in May 2022, I purchased a 75 inch LG TV that was delivered to my door. Upon installing it myself, I have discovered the screen was chipped and the screen was damaged. The very next day I contacted Costco Customer Service and they said they will deliver a new one to me. However, it takes 2.5 weeks before my new TV was delivered. But then, the second New LG TV was also chipped and damaged. Both 75 inch piece of junk were sitting in my home for nearly a month, until I decided to call a junk collectable company to collect it. I have proof and photos of the damages on both TV and it costed extra me CAD$400 from my own pocket to pay the disposal company to get rid of the junks.

    Now in September 2022, Costco call me and requires me to pay for the two TV since they weren’t been collected by Costco. I am saddened about this news and the effort that Costco is trying to bully their customer and squeeze every penny from innocents as this is not the customer’s fault. I am trying to seek to take immediate legal action for a team of people to follow up for an error a big company causing me distress to my health. A big company like Costco bullying innocent buyers and harassing their customers. This is very bad and not respecting their customer.

    In my past experience, a company should never fight with their customer. In the end, the business bureau will eventually get involve and will for sure damage the reputation of a big company like Costco. Costco should be smart enough not to harass their customer for a payback if there is significant evidence that the damaged was entire caused by their quality control team or the delivery team. A lawsuit should always result in favour of the customer not the company. If Costco continues to harass and bully me and my family, I will escalate this entire situation. Damaging a brand on social media is much easier than filing a lawsuit. It will do no good to a big company like Costco and it will Only result in financial loss to the brand.

    Went to Costco for 4 new tire installation (paid $576.12 for tires, installation, tire disposal and tax). After a few minutes, the technician called and told me there is a problem on my lug nuts and said they need to replace all the lug nuts. I didn't think it is necessary but I agreed just to get it done. I paid extra $39.60 for the lug nuts. When it was done, they handed me the key and was excited to see what the tires look like. To my surprise, it was so messy. Full of white stuff like a kid played white paint on it. Then I noticed one of the wheel emblem is missing and found a broken one inside the car on a Ziploc bag. Lastly, the odometer showing on the invoice is wrong. They put 147808 instead of 174808.

    Have you ever ordered an item from Costco online then get an email "sorry your order has been cancelled" with possible reasons like address or credit card? It has taken me 6 months to get Costco to tell me why. The first item was ear buds cancelled in February. My husband blew it off. Then ordered a modem a month later. Cancelled with address or credit card issue inside the email. But we were ordering other items that were being delivered on the same card. So I called OnLine Customer Service. They had no clue. Told them I want a manager. He was clueless. Told me to try again and he would watch it. Called me back. Said he was clueless but would research. Called back and said he researched my account. Said we are blocked from dept 24 appliances. Told him they just installed an LG dishwasher. He told me Loss and Prevention would send me a letter with details.

    In June tried to order a microwave. It cancelled. Called and asked for manager which I found they are only supervisors. She looked in my account and said I was blocked from dept 24 Electronics. Said that I have spent a lot but returned half. So I am restricted. I told her they should warn the customers there's a problem instead of canceling orders with no real reason. At the end....She said she sees we spend a lot of money with Costco and appreciate it. Said Loss and Prevention will get ahold of me.

    On 7/31 I wanted to buy a water purifier but was not sure if I should order since it could get cancelled. So I sent a letter to Costco's CEO. I got a call from an Escalation Specialist. He said a manager would call me. The next day he called back and said he spoke to Loss and Prevention. I am restricted from 2 depts. I told him that the way they handle Customer service sucks. I should have been contacted 6 months ago and the issue discussed. I told him then if I tried to order something from that dept give me a message indicating restricted dept 24. He was very sorry. I told him I wanted a letter explaining why I'm blocked from their loss and Prevention.

    I got an email and boy don't ever push the CEOs buttons. They reviewed my account and decided that I have returned too many items overall and my online account is now closed. I am restricted from buying online. So if you are getting items cancelled from Costco online....call and ask for a manager. You may be blocked because you spend lots of money but don't keep enough online purchases in a specific department.

    I am a woman who was going to shop at Costco and I brought my dog with me. I thought it was ok because I saw a man with his dog there too. The man walked in with his dog and the greeter didn’t bat an eye. But when I tried to walk in he pointed to a sign that said no dogs. I asked him then why did that other man go in with his dog? He told me not to get snappy. I will definitely switch to Sam's Club. Bye bye Costco. I’m on my way to canceling my membership.

    I bought a laptop with a 2-year extended warranty at Costco, and suddenly the screen failed. There are no obvious cracks on the screen. Costco denied the warranty claim stating the causes were "unknown" therefore the claim was denied. I have been a customer of Costco for over 10 years. I will never buy a single item again, and I encourage everyone not to buy items at Costco because their warranty sucks. If the failure is for unknown reasons, then they should honor the warranty and fix it. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars in Costco over the years, and for me is unreal they won't pay for a $250 repair. I am going to Sam's Club instead.

    I had a cashier tell me that my elderly mother could not purchase food on her food stamp card while shopping there. After calling the store at 1201 N loop 1604 east, San Antonio, TX 78232. The front line manager named ** was very rude to me about a member of my household using food stamps. Not only does this feel like income discrimination but the level of rude service received makes me wonder how these people even have jobs to belittle those who are forced to live off government assistance. If you don’t want to honour food stamps just don’t even accept them to begin with. Thanks for the de humanising experience.

Again I ordered another one & I called them again to verify everything is ok but they told me that their system could not verify my new home address & they can not delivered.

    I went to the Costco close to my home. Their customer service manager changed my home address & also checked all my proof documents for my new address with my ID. I asked her make a copy & send to your costoc.com people but she said, "They are separated than us & I don't have access to them." She called them & told them about all my address & ID verification. They told her it takes 72 hours for their system vertification, again. After 5 days, I called to the costco.com customer service & they told me the same ** again.

    Costco.com treated customers like criminal that they are not recognizing our address. Even Costco employees in my town said that they never heard this kind of excuses and people are moving around everyday or they buy items for other people as gift & we delivered to them. I am so exhausted from costco.com horrible customer service. I don't know who lived in my place before & this is not work when I ordered with the credit card which it is on my name. Costco.com is big mess & their managers are not helpful & their excesses are ridiculous and insulting.

    Ordered a 11¼ x 8¾ Hardcover photo book from the Costco Photo Center just recently. I have been designing photo books at Costco since 2012 & never had any issues with the quality. But this time the book came with very poor quality photo paper which was very thin, lightweight & off white compared to past photo books that I have ordered. The Binding was poor, the hardcover was very flimsy, the front & back inside paper was like regular black construction paper. I called the customer service, talked to the Supervisor but was told that the quality of paper will be the same even if they resend me another book. There is no mention of the description of the paper on the website when one orders the book. Maybe the vendor they use may have changed ever since they shut their photo departments completely. Overall poor quality of the Photobook.

    On Friday, May 27th I was online looking at BBQ's. A Napoleon Brand, it was 1249. I thought when that goes on sale I will buy it. Saturday, May 28th my wife gets an email 20% of all online purchases. I thought great, I'll go online and order that BBQ. Lo and behold it was gone. I thought oh well. So Monday after the sale was over I go online again. And lo and behold the BBQ was back. Costco is sneaky and its advertising practices leave a lot to be desired.

    Ordered Costco washer and dryer and fridge. They have worst delivery. They will give delivery window. They will not stick to the window. They will call you 2 minutes before they are there after delivery window. They will deliver damaged product. They did! They will damage your property while delivering and not fix it! They damaged my entry door to get refrigerator in the home. They will offer compensation for mess - that is puny. Try dealing with customer service which is 1 hour to get to someone to speak to it. Most customer rep are nice to speak to but they cannot much other than provide lip service. Sorry to have shopped for appliances with Costco. IT IS HORRIBLE. And I pay to shop at Costco. The membership ends here.

    Through Costco offers, they installed the following:

    1. June 2020، they suggested to upgrade my AC to 4 tons instead of the old one as the house in the summer was too hot indoor. They also charged me to install wireless thermostat which never happened as they could not get the unit. I finally bought Glass thermostat from Best Buy and installed it myself. That work cost me more than 14K. I texted the installer to refund the price of thermostat more than 3 or 4 times, no response. I called the company more than 3 times (most of time was with which I believe her name is Heather). Every time I hear they will check and get back to me. But still waiting.

    2. Same problem happened in Summer of 2021, through Costco again, I bought furnace (high end one and wireless) with split, mini split، ductless Lenox and wireless thermostat, less than 7 months now and my house is burning hot, the thermostat registered under weird name in Texas, USA, WHEN I CALLED the number my thermostat registered under, turned to be Highland Hospital or something like this. This job cost me more than 23K. I called the company today and they wanted to charge me emergency visit for something they installed less than 7 months ago and less than 18 months ago.

    It's bad experience, as I believe now all that money I spent close to 40 K, to get high end equipment, did not solve the problem, so their professional recommendation turned to be a way to get money out of your pocket without honesty or solving the main problem. I don't think I should pay to get equipment less than 7 months old, get fixed. I also blame costco for putting its clients in this situations, now I think any offer costco give to its client it's low quality, as these companies does not have workload and willing to offer costco members cheap prices just to get their business going. I called costco to start a complaint process but unfortunately are closed.

    In summary never go with costco offers when it come to big investment in your house، as it look like they deal with companies that will not have workload without signing contract with costco. Also Comfort Masters and Affordable Comfort should not be your direction when you looking for HVAC equipments. This an honest review and it is up to each of you.

    On 5/1/22 I was in Costco and decided to put a cake order in for a 50th wedding anniversary. The process is sad. You just put your order form in the box and hope for the best. I filled out the form placed it the box. Called on 05/06/22 to confirm the order and was told by a costco employee that the bakery was all the way in the back and they didn't feel like walking back there, but they have my order or at least he thought they did I explained that was unacceptable to think on something he did not know for sure. To add insult to injury he hung up the phone and wouldn't answer I had to use my husband phone to call then someone answered. Anthony answered and explained the process of ordering a cake. Very disappointed. I hope my cake is there on Sunday or I will be send a review to the president of the company, and my social media. Not a threat but a promise. I am so sick of spending my hard earn money and being treated like poop.

    I shop at Costco in Reno. I resent it every time I go. Besides the horrible overcrowded parking, the customer service cashiers and "exit handlers" are 98% of the time rude, cold & never ever professional or nice!! I very rarely receive a look to even acknowledge my existence let alone "Hello" or "How are you?" "Did you find what you needed today?" Nothing but impatience, the cashiers get short with me easily & only care about getting their money & selling me an upgrade on membership. It's just an unpleasant chore every time I go. Customer service is basically the worst in Reno! Poorly managed business not to appreciate simple old-fashioned customer service guarantees happy returning customers. If it wasn't for the few things I can't find anywhere else for less, I would cut my membership up yesterday.

    We ordered a mattress at Costco.com. After waiting a week for delivery and set up, the mattress turned out to be a full instead of a queen. The delivery crew were kind and professional; however, they took my old mattress and set up new mattress stating that Costco would exchange with the correct mattress. They asked me to call customer service and left with our old mattress. The representative on the phone informed me that the mattress I ordered was not available in a queen and that they do not do exchanges. I was instructed to start a return process in which they would pick up the full size mattress in one week and they would process the refund in "3-5 business days". I was then told that I would have to initiate a new mattress order. They would NOT honor the sale price of the new mattress from the week before.

    Furthermore, unless we ordered before the old mattress was scheduled for pickup up we would have to go without a mattress in the interim. So we paid for the new queen mattress at full price and scheduled a delivery date. As instructed we called customer service to coordinate pick up and drop off at the same time. I was assured that this was NOT a problem, but to call again once I received shipment confirmation.

    Upon calling as instructed with the shipment confirmation, I was told that no available pick up times were available in the next 7 days. I could either wait an additional 7 days to coordinate the delivery with pick up, which would mean an additional 10-12 days before refund or I could make no changes and sleep without a mattress. When I asked the agent to speak to a supervisor I was told "You can do that but it won't change anything". I was then placed on hold for over 20 minutes after which the original agent came on again and said that she had tried to "pull some strings" but was unsuccessful. I then waited again another 15-20 minutes before I finally hung up.. This has been the worst Costo buying experience ever. I will not be utilizing Costco online in the future and will not be renewing our membership.

    Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery is the worst delivery service I've ever experienced in my entire life! My new life's goal is to post this information all over the internet in the hopes that no one ever has to deal with this company. The first crew that came to deliver the bedroom set damaged the dresser and one of the drawers in the chest. I’m not talking about small damage. They split the piece of wood on the lower front section of the dresser beyond repair and the bottom of one drawer in the chest was completely broken in half. These are things they likely knew they did but were in such a hurry to get back on the road they didn’t seem to care. Before they left I inspected the furniture and found the broken drawer so they took that piece of furniture with them when they left. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice the cracked wood on the dresser until 5 minutes after they left. I called to ask them to come back and pick it up but they refused.

    They also did a very poor job of assembling the bed. There are about 4-5 pieces of wood support posts that run underneath the center of the bed. Each one consists of 2 pieces that are screwed together. When I looked under the bed it was easy to see that none of them were completely screwed together. I had to prop up the bed with 2x4s to allow access to the underside of the bed which then allowed me to screw the posts together properly.

    Upon further inspection of the furniture, we decided that the quality was not of the level we expected so we contacted customer support to return it all. Today, 4 weeks later, they finally came to pick it up. I was told they would call me with an ETA a few hours before they planned to arrive At approximately 3:00PM, as I had yet to hear from them, I decided to call Customer Service and a few minutes later I received a call from the driver stating that they would be here in 45 minutes to 1 hour. They actually arrived about 90 minutes later.

    The crew did not have shoe coverings and they refused to remove their shoes before walking upstairs on my carpeted floors. I suggested they go down the street, less than 1 mile from my house and purchase foot coverings but they refused. I called their dispatch office while they were here and they spoke to the driver but no resolution was achieved and they left. The first delivery crew that delivered the furniture had no problem removing their shoes before walking on the carpet. If I ever purchase anything again from Costco that requires a delivery crew to come into my house I will only do it if Costco guarantees to not use Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery.

    I'm baffled. I ordered the pack of 48 ramen noodles at Costco not too long ago for less than $9 and I have been looking for it there. They kept saying out of stock. However I really needed for my kids, I ended searching elsewhere and I found at eBay for $23, which compared the outrage prices out so I got there. The order came in a box that said Costco and I said to myself but i my Costco already which one is that one? And it was the noodles that I bought from eBay which was more than double the price.     Costco denies any problem. This is why the Stealing comes into play. I have proof of their online problems. I sign into my account. Make my purchases. Payment is typed in with a card number, name, expiration date, etc. This card number was not used for payment. Instead they pulled up an old account that has not been used for a very long time. Keep in mind that I have made purchases with Costco online with a different Card Number and it has successfully gone thru their system. Two purchases back from November 2021 also was put on the same card they had on file that had not been used for a very long time. You may say that is why they have your card on file to use. But when I am signed in and go to payment information and type in my information it goes thru on the card I used. It does not default to the card on file, that has been there for a very long time. I have the proof and Costco is not interested.

    I paid on the card that is not used overdraft fees of 105.00 dollars for a bottle of garlic and herb spice that costs 8.49 dollars. I paid 105.00 dollars for a box of crackers that cost 8.49 dollars. EACH ITEM WAS BILLED SEPARATELY TO MY CARD THAT HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR A VERY LONG TIME. So every item was billed the same day and billed separately. So the overdraft fees were enormous. Costco explains this is my computer program that has a problem. So here we go again. The November 2021 purchase was on my Dell laptop with Microsoft 10 program. This laptop is less than 2 years old. The February purchase was with a new laptop with Microsoft 11 program and is less than 30 days old. Still Costco does not want to hear from me and will not fix this problem in their program.

    I know there are others out there that have had this problem. I know I am not the only one who orders using different card accounts. So there is a real problem here, hence the Stealing of my information. From whom is it from, employees, Costco itself, etc. These employees who took this call and done nothing have cost this Business thousands of dollars and each one should be fired. How much more business will Costco Lose unless they are the problem. CAREFUL.

    If I could give them ZERO stars I would. They do not deserve the one star I had to give them to write this review. Here is the absolutely ridiculous scenario. I originally placed an order on 26 December2021. The item was somehow delivered somewhere in the state of New York on 11 January 2022. Well, this was the first epic fail for Costco.com primarily because I live in ALASKA. Not very smart at all! I contacted Costco on 13 January 2022 about this order. I was assured by the customer service person that the order would redone, the item would be expedited and that the item would arrive by the original scheduled delivery date. Then it took until 19 January 2022 to get an email confirming the new order. Then an email on 20 January that the item was shipped. However, the tracking information provided was never trackable. The promised delivery date came and went with no package from Costco.

    At the beginning of February 2022 I was told by customer service that the item was in stock, would be shipped and that it would arrive by 10 February 2022. This delivery date also came and went with no package from Costco. 14 February 2022, I again contacted Costco customer service to try and find out where the package was. The Costco customer service person told me that the package was shipped and that Costco would look into the delivery of the package. AGAIN NOTHING! On 21 February 2022 I again contacted Costco customer service. The customer service person said that she would put in a Service Request (SR#**) to look into why my package was not delivered.

    After all of this waiting and time spent on the phone, I get a useless form letter telling me that the package is not going to be delivered, that Costco is out of stock on this item, and that they are going to refund my purchase price. How disrespectful! I place an order with Costco, they take my money, jerk me around for nearly two months, and then say "oh, we will give you your money back in 3-7 business days". What an incompetent and useless ordering system. Costco should be ashamed of itself for the seriously poor customer service. I live in Alaska and have been waiting on these heated gloves for two months that I am now informed that I am NEVER going to get. Costco is an EXCEEDINGLY useless bunch of lying, deceitful, incompetent idiots! They have no regard for their customer's time.

    Caution! When trying to purchase online from Costco--they can automatically cancel your order, and put a hold your funds with ETA to do so! I had entered my credit card info. correctly as it appeared on my card, with the correct pin etc. (I confirmed this with my bank), but when I entered the name in the Bill-to address, did not match EXACTLY with the card (i.e. Sandra vs. Sandy). Therefore, their order system automatically cancelled my order and then put a hold on the funds at my bank until they get around to releasing them. A simple error trap routine in their online order system would prevent this and/or highlight the difference (if required). BTW, other major online retailers (you know who...) do not require they match exactly or seem to have no problem handling it.

    I called their Costco Customer Service twice to try to figure out what happened as the bank sees no error on their end while Costco continues to hold my funds. The Costco Customer Service representatives cannot change the Bill-to address name difference nor can I and they could not provide an ETA when they might release the funds back to me. Apparently, you can do nothing from your bank to release them either, only the merchant (Costco) controls the release of those funds while you wait...

    Really not professional or ethical. The other larger online sites (you know who...again) also appear to have much more knowledgeable and helpful customer service reps unlike Costco's! So, shop anywhere online but Costco! Let them do what they do best, JUST be a big box-store merchant, not an online presence in the marketplace!

    Called Customer Service Line (800-774-2678) to report/resolve paying twice for membership renewal. I had to walk the agent through my account transactions even though she kept putting me on long holds to review what was in my account record summary. The agent couldn't (or didn't know how) verify both my banking transactions to Costco (1 on-line, 1 at in-person-checkout) and ultimately told me that I would to drive to Costco, stand in line at Customer Service counter, and dispute my double-payment issue with a warehouse person.     COSTCO DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE SAFETY OF SENIORS OR THE IMMUNOCOMPROMISED. E-mail sent by me to Costco: I am disabled and I am immunocompromised. I wrote yesterday to express my concerns with an upcoming appliance delivery through Metro to Home. I requested that for my safety the delivery personnel be fully vaccinated. Metro to Home refused to comply and Costco refused to take responsibility. Costco has the absolute power to demand that subcontractors ask their employees their vaccination status, and if refused, find another company who is willing to respect the health and safety of Costco's customers.

    And it is their LEGAL DUTY TO ACCOMMODATE the disabled and immunocompromised. I was not accommodated. Someone from Costco phoned me that afternoon to discuss the situation. She spouted a number of platitudes and mentioned more than once that Costco closely follows the recommendations of Health Canada. I disagree. One of the two gentlemen delivering my dishwasher was wearing a single cloth mask. Dr. Tam, Canada's chief public health officer, advises against cloth face masks in the face of the new omicron variant, "Tam said it is time to ditch the cloth masks. They are not going to protect you against Omicron." **... Dr. Juni, Ontario's science advisory table, agrees.

    I am not writing for the purpose of getting the delivery people in trouble. They were respectful and donned two medical masks each that I provided. I blame Metro to Home for not providing these young men proper protection, for their safety and mine. And I blame Costco, who thinks that by subcontracting out deliveries they can wash their hands of any responsibility. Well, they can't. It is absolutely their responsibility to ensure that EVERYONE working in any and all capacity for them is properly trained in covid safety and provided with the proper protection for their workers and their customers, especially the most vulnerable ones!

    Costco in Orange Park FL damaged my rims while installing tires on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. When I went inside to ask about the damage I was immediately yelled at by a technician saying they didn't do it and that I was absurd to think they caused any damage. Their insurance was even worse to deal with. Charity was difficult to get a hold of, never answered messages, and was rude every time we spoke. This is THE worst company I have ever dealt with and I will never do business with them or any of their subsidiaries again and I advise everyone else of the same.

    While eating my first of 6 everything bagels I got a piece of plastic that lodged into my gum. Very unpleasant. I sent pictures to the manager. He investigated the bakery and said there is nothing similar in the bakery. Not from here. Sent pictures and the actual piece to the Bakery that supplies Costco with the par-baked bagels. Fiery Foods in Ontario. They said the same. Well it got baked into the bagel somehow!. After a closer look at it it looks very similar to a piece of a plastic from a water bottle lid. I have pictures to compare. I was told by the manager that I could return the remaining bagels for a refund. Wow that's it? As if I would even think of eating the rest of bagels that possibly have more pieces inside them. No compensation for bringing this to their attention. Has anyone else found plastic in their bagels from Costco?

    On December 8, 2021, I had four new tires installed that I had purchased on line and had delivered to the Costco Peachtree City, Ga store. These were for an older classic car that wasn't quite roadworthy yet, so I brought only the wheels to have the tires mounted and balanced. They completed the service and put them in the back of my truck. When I got home, I noticed that the weights were 'stick-ons' and not the 'tap on' leaded ones. So far, no problem.

    Five days later, I roll them out to install them on my car and "Whaaat?" ...the weights on three of the tires were laying on the ground! I returned to the store, and after some 'warm' discussion, they agreed to redo the balancing and install the tap-on weights. My advice to you is "DOUBLE CHECK YOUR TIRES WHEN YOU LEAVE THE STORE" and frequently after that. Stick-on weights seem a cheap and quick way to get you out of the store.

    I ordered a refrigerator online from Costco on Nov 26. It was scheduled to be delivered on Nov 30. Quick availability was the sole reason for my order to Costco. As per company process, I was supposed to receive communication a day prior regarding my delivery and timing. I did not receive any of these. At 944 am on Nov 30, got a call from Costco delivery driver informing me that they will be arriving in 5 minutes! And asking me to ensure that my driveway is absolutely clean and "Salt sprayed" otherwise they would return the delivery. I rushed out with my shovel to clean up snow. Within 2 minutes of calling, Costco truck arrived at my doorstep. I told driver to wait few minutes till I clean up all the snow.

    To my shock, driver just sped off with his vehicle and at 954 am I got a voice mail from Costco Logistics informing that my delivery has been cancelled. I immediately called up Costco Logistics but to no avail and my delivery was rescheduled for next week Sunday. This is the worst customer experience I had. Not sure what's Costco guidelines are to these drivers but not giving prior information well in advance, refused to wait for 5 minutes and rescheduling the whole delivery cycle again. It only results in resource wastage, additional cost and on top of all, worst customer experience.

    Had an appliance delivery of refrigerator, dishwasher and range. Delivery staff are supposed to do basic installation and haul my previous appliances. Delivery guys started with the excuse of my plants in the entrance they did not want to ruin them. I told them not to worry they will regrow. When they came in they did not want to haul my appliance, told them not to worry about them, then they were allergic to cats and did not want to deliver. Finally they left it at my door with no installation. They are horrible. We never buy any appliance or any services from Costco. When membership is over will go back to Sams.

    After being a customer for over 14 years you would think that Costco would be willing to go the extra mile for a customer. Purchased a Tv and was supposed to get a $300 cash card. That was in August. I called in October to ask about it and noticed they were now offering a $500 cash card for the same Tv at the same price. I spent 30 min with customer service and after speaking with the guy and asking him do they could honor the new promotion he said he was able to get it pushed through. So here I am waiting for my cash card since I am trying to buy a new couch from Costco and I still haven’t seen it.

    Called today and was told they aren’t going to honor the extra $200. Thanks for letting me know that a customer that has spent over $10,000 with you this year isn’t worth $200 to you. It’s just me and my daughter and I chose to spend my hard earned money with Costco. I will be making my new home purchases with another company since my business isn’t appealing enough to Costco.

    I have been buying Costco bacon for years. Lately when I get it home and open the packages the pieces are cut so thin they don't even stay together. Today I made some and there was 2 ozs of fat that weren't even attached but on the side of the bacon. I hate to pay higher prices but I want whole pieces not parts.

    Okay where should I begin. I remember some videos circling around Costco selling salmon with worms. I honestly thought Costco would have inspected their seafood after this incident but I was a victim. I decided to get the Coho salmon since it was not farmed. I get home start prepping it and as I started brushing olive oil I noticed something moving! It was a transparent long worm. Yes!! A worm, I kept looking at the salmon and noticed another one. I called Costco and told me to bring the tag and they would give me a refund. I went the next day, took it back, got my refund. The point is not that I got my refund but why is COSTCO selling fish with worms! Please BEWARE! Examine your fish before you eat it. Costco should seriously inspect their fish before selling them. Never again will I purchase any type of raw fish there. BEWARE OF WORMS IN THE FISH.

    Appointment time for a simple tire rotation was made for Friday at 9 am. I was the first person before they even open the doors. Thinking that my car should be done at legible or take 1 hour so I can go back to work. And the time right now is 10:00 am and finally they pulled my car inside the garage. And the service representative at the tire center tells me that’s it’s a 2 hour wait from the time wait. Really so overall I’m waiting 3 hours for a tire rotation with an appointment. Also only one person working at the front lobby when they have 15 pictures of Michelin Certified Tire Technicians on the board. A lot of things are not right with this. Not happy at all. This is waste of time for me. The reason people make appointments is that they expected to be seen at that time. It’s not right very poor technicians that they have on site. For them being Certified and me waiting 3 hours being the first customer with an appointment.

    I have attempted to use Costco online for appliances. Yes, you can save money, but the savings is NOT WORTH IT! We have rental properties. On 3 different houses, between purchases and replacements I have spent HOURS on the phone trying to sort each problem out. 100% of all appliance purchases and returns have been wrong and a nightmare to get resolved. Not to mention, time spent meeting the delivery team at the property, only to deny delivery because of damaged or wrong items, return visits for replacement items, etc., etc. I will NEVER purchase another appliance from Costco.

    1. 12/2019 - Gas range, micro hood, dishwasher and refrigerator for house listed for sale. Standard depth fridge ordered, counter depth received. Replacement came after the open house.

    2. 06/2021 - Refrigerator ordered with ice maker. Installers broke the connector on the ice maker hose. The ice maker could not be connected and I was told it was a plumbing issues and they could not fix it. I asked that the water be turned off and the fridge put in place, so the tenants would at least have a refrigerator. The delivery guys left the fridge in the middle of the family room, on the carpet, while they went outside to call their supervisor. While I was waiting on hold to resolve the issue with Costco customer service, I heard the front door open, the delivery person dropped the ice maker parts and paperwork inside the door, ran out and hopped in the truck. I attempted to stop them, but they drove away. I was left to remove & dispose of the packaging, put the refrigerator in place and scheduling (at my expense) someone to repair the broken connector and hook up the ice maker.

    3. 09/2021 - Purchased a washer and dryer set for a rental. The delivery team began the unpacking process and the entire side of the washer was smashed in. Another washer and dryer would need to be delivered. Fortunately, I had time before the tenants were moving in.

    The second washer and dryer were delivered 2 weeks later. Washer worked well, dryer turned on, heated but the drum would not turn. By the time the tenants realized it, the dryer was hot to the touch. POTENTIAL FIRE DANGER! I contacted Costco and began the process to get a replacement. The replacement would take 3 business days. 2 days later, I was notified the dryer was out of stock and NO DATE as to when it would be available. More time on the phone. Costco could not deliver another brand, I simply needed to cancel the entire set or wait for a replacement (with no date).

    I located a set at Lowe's that could be delivered in 2 days (costing me $400 more). Again, more time on the phone attempting to get both the washer and dryer cancelled, scheduled for pickup and my money refunded. 10 days later, I receive an email from Costco to pick a date for both items to be picked up and returned. I selected the earliest dates available and received no reply back. Once again, I called Costco customer service, 42 minutes later I am told, the only date available for pick up in the area is 1 week later.

    Costco Customer Service Representatives and their supervisors have been polite and very apologetic. But kindness and apologies simply are not enough. Costco does a lot of things well ... appliances and deliveries is certainly not one of them. Spend the extra money, save a lot of time and frustration and buy your appliances elsewhere.

    I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for large deliveries. Especially an appliance. We sat and waited for 13 hours after waiting a week for a fridge. No emails, no phone calls. The worst thing someone can say in customer service is “I understand”. They don’t understand. It’s patronizing. So we are canceling this order and probably canceling the membership.

    I do not know what is going on. I have never had this problem before with any retailers but this has happened three times recently at Costco. I was paying with a check. They tell you to just sign it and their machine will fill it out. They are supposed to show you the filled out check so you can just quickly verify it is the same amount as what your receipt is. This is the third time recently that 1. Cashier would not show me my check after she ran it through the cash register. 2. Rolled her eyes over and over when I told her nicely I needed to see my check.

    3. Eye rolls several more times as I told her nothing printed on the check. It was blank except for my signature. I told her that I had to fill out the amount and she was angry. Why do they not have ink in their machines as they are coming out blank. I do not like to be treated that way. I do not treat people that way. Costco shopping has always been a positive experience but I have brought it to the attention of the store and nothing was done. My Costco membership is up in about 2 weeks. Sam's Club is just a mile away and I am going to check it out!

    COSTCO- the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I noticed today I had a $60 charge on my CC. I attempted to call the number listed on the charge but it was all automated "NO HUMANS PRESENT", then I attempted to fix this online again, I was stopped by a website that runs you in circles without offering a single answer to "HOW TO CANCEL MEMBERSHIP". So because I am a very patient person I tried to "CHAT" and after a 13-minute wait I was told to call the number that was all automated, but with a catch don't answer the questions and eventually it will get you to a human, 22 minutes later I'm still waiting. TERRIBLE-HORRIBLE-customer service... After 32 minutes of waiting on the phone, charges were removed BUT, I was not asked to complete a survey, HMmm I wonder why! Never again.

    Do not buy a Groupon for Costco!!! This is a scam!!! They never sent me the 2 $40 credits that they claim they will give it to you. I called and they told me that the problem was that a credit card for renewal was missing. The customer service added my card and told me I would receive it in 6 weeks. Several months later I called again and the agent now said that I needed a Groupon promotion code. I read the groupon and it didn’t say anything about a promotion code only to add a credit card.

    When I told the agent that I would keep posting reviews about this incident until they honored their offer she told me to go ahead and that it was my fault and not the company’s fault although I did everything they asked and the agent assured me during my first phone call about the issue that I would be mailed my offer within 6 weeks. I'm writing this review to recommend people not to buy a Costco Groupon in the future so that you don’t have to be scammed and go through all this trouble I'm going through with Costco to get what was promised to you.

This is very unacceptable and deceiving. I asked to speak with the Supervisor but she kept on pointing me to read the "Terms & Conditions". When a customer orders with a BIG CORPORATION like Costco you think that they are portraying that they are the "BE ALL END ALL". Please see sample of my invoice ordered online: the item is $21.99 in the warehouse; I was charged 23.99 each paying $4.00 for shipping and handling! This is a clear violation of consumer protection act!

    I always have thought that Costco has the best customer service and support until My LG TV broke down. I called them and every time it took me between 30 minutes to an hour to connect to them. They had to contact another department and again I was on waiting for another 30 minutes. I called them about SEVEN times and waited for more than three weeks. The final result was none. My TV guarantee was useless and I had wasted my money to buy an additional three-year guarantee.

    The Costco in Palm Desert, CA, is the worst one ever. Traffic is everywhere and car crashes sometimes happen in the parking lot. The workers are extremely rude and prejudice. One woman who is Hispanic with long black hair and a black jacket and a green shirt is mocking people's appearance and existence for no reason at near the door at around 2:36 PM. She might as well throw stuff at people while she's at it. Do NOT go to this Costco.

    I've had numerous problems after my delivery of a refrigerator with customer service regarding scheduling another service call because the doors needed to be reversed, and the bottom front grill/kickplate was not included with delivery. The communication is awful. I've been rerouted to different representatives who can't provide a definite answer, and emails with the same. And, the service men were not obliging. There hasn't been a solution to my problem for over a week after delivery. I will not order another appliance online. The customer service is horrendous. Beware of purchasing a major appliance online through Costco or be prepared to have problems. You get what you pay for.... Sometimes it's worth it to pay more to avoid these problems.

    Took 2 months to get my washer/dryer that was listed as a 7-10 day delivery on their website. Then when the day of the delivery finally came they contracted out the delivery to a 3rd party company without either asking or notifying me of such. I took the day off work for the item to be delivered. I'm a doctor and have a very busy schedule.

    The delivery company was not able to deliver the items to my address because they never reached out to me ahead of time to find the logistics of my home and driveway. Nor did they ever provide me with a number of who I could contact to reach them. They were supposed to call the day before and didn't. They showed up at my house and with no effort to make things work announced they couldn't deliver the item and that I'd have to reschedule. Save yourself the time and don't buy appliances from Costco. Use a real appliance store like Best Buy/Lowe's/Home Depot. I've never had a problem with any of them. This was my first and last time buying an appliance from Costco. They should be embarrassed.

    Recently bought all new appliances for my house. Washer/dryer, stove, microwave and a fridge. And ever since we have got these we still continue to run into problems with the appliances. I have dealt with Costco and Samsung for two months about my washer machine. The washer should not be leaving water in the bleach container. Every time we call Costco they tell us nothing they can do and to call Samsung. Samsung continues to tell me mixed stories as well. The microwave works great however when we asked them to install it they installed not leveled to the cabinet above it. So now I have to figure out how to fix that.

    Then today 8/5 we had our Samsung fridge come. When trying to bring it in the house they hit the french door on our back sliding door. Then when they got it to the spot they told us we had to pay for a water line that would cost ($25-$40). We told them no. Then reading the inside sheet of paper it states that the installer has to install the water line for us. In other words they wanted to scam us for $40 dollars so that they can pocket that cash for themselves. I asked them 5 times to remove the plastic on the doors, they said yes then never did it and left. Then proceeds to ask me to leave all of the garbage in my garage as he stated "we don't take that with us". Bottom line I have been very, very frustrated with the way Costco customer service, installers AND Samsung has been with me. Oh and by the way. My washer they told me I can't get it fixed unless I want to be charged... What's the point of having a warranty then?

    Purchased a new television and when plugged in and set up it didn't work. I contacted Costco and was forwarded to their concierge department. They were professional and attempted to diagnose what was wrong. After numerous lengthy attempts and wasted time they handed me off to the manufacturer. They attempted to fix it and couldn't. Then sent a technician out to put a new main board in. That immediately didnt work. So they sent me a remanufactured used set. Instead of a brand new set. They were supposed to set the new set up but didn't. This set had a defect with the sound. I contacted the concierge department and told them that I wanted a new television. I spoke to an unbelievably rude and unprofessional person named Joseph. He was so unprofessional that I asked for the corporate offices but he gave me a hard time. My costco membership has just expired and I will not renew it. They lost a good customer!

    Ordered appliances on-line. They missed the anticipated delivery date and customer service was unable to help. A dozen or so calls to customer service. Hours spent on hold. Promised return calls never came. On-line order tracking contained mostly information that did not apply to my account. Finally, a BBB complaint got a response from the "Executive Escalations" department. They talked a good game but did not help. I finally ordered a different appliance, not what I wanted, but two months after my initial order they were still projecting another month for delivery of a product that they recommended ordering because it was in stock. The new appliance was delivered in ten days. My advice is to order from Costco because they tend to have the best overall deal. If they miss the delivery date cancel and take your business elsewhere. They have no reliable delivery tracking system and their communication of order status is the worst I've seen.

    I have been a Costco customer for more than 20 years. In general, I like the Costco customer service and Costco employees’ attitude towards customers. However, on July 26, 2021, I experienced just an opposite treatment. I had terrible and unprofessional customer service with very bad attitude towards customers at Covington, WA Costco. I am a 67-year-old retiree was denied buying alcohol because I didn’t have ID with me. How is it possible not to see that I am older than 21 years? It looks to me that this Costco employees don’t have any common sense and try to abuse their position of power towards their clients.

    I was denied the service even after Costco manager checked my age using my Costco ID with my photo on the computer that proved that I am 67 years old. It was also very bad that Covington Costco employees try to avoid any responsibilities for their behavior or actions by not giving their business cards or their full names. I asked them about this multiple times without any success. They gave me only their first names that are completely useless for their identifications among this Costco employees. I spoke with two managers and one employee. Behavior all of them was very unprofessional, rude and hostile towards me. I was not sure that I had such bad treatment from this Costco employees because I am an immigrant, and my English language is not perfect. Anyway, it was a very upsetting experience!

    Ordered amongst other items an "Intex Mega River Float" Chose green color. Upon checking out realized the system did not include said float. No way to include it I the already placed order. Called CS and I was asked to cancel the order and re order again. Did it but then the "float" was nowhere to be found. Apparently after calling again CS the Intex River Mega Float was nowhere in the system. I always buy from Amazon and it has never happened that an Item I am in the process of ordering "disappears from radar" as if I were crazy imagining an item not available.

    Apparently Costco ran out of stock and rather than saying this on their site, they simply show, upon searching for said item, a screen that says "oops, item can not be found". Irresponsible way to conduct business, because if you have such low numbers on an item to the point you will run out of stock, you do not place such item on you advertisement, that is deceptive advertisement, that is luring customers into your online sale operation under false pretense. I will never ever order online from Costco. Not only for this deceptive advertisement campaign for which authorities should apply sanctions and penalties to Costco, but because it is 100% disrespect for customers. I tried to talk to a manager by calling CS and I was placed on hold... After 35 minutes of waiting I hanged up. Terrible business practices and I hope the autoroutes read this complaint

    Costco Logistics and Costco’s delivery company, Innovel Solutions, have provided us with nothing but the absolutely worst service I have ever experienced. Between a scheduled delivery that never arrived, zero communication from Costco, multiple calls to Costco resulting in at least 10 hours on hold, four orders placed for the same item because no one can seem to figure out if the shipments ever arrive at the distribution center or warehouse or if all of it has arrived (I've even been told it was help upon assembly, although nothing needed to be assembled), and it being more than 2.5 months since we paid for our original order! Costco Online has permanently lost our business! Zero stars!

    Do not ever buy appliances from Costco. They are the worst and have borderline unethical business practices. First off one orders appliances and then the delivery date stipulated on your order is not the actual delivery date at one's home but apparently the delivery date at the warehouse. Looking at your order details as a consumer one expects the delivery date to be the date of delivery at your home. Once the delivery is at the warehouse now you can only schedule the delivery a week later at your home. How convenient for you Costco.

    After waiting 4 weeks for our appliances it arrives at our home damaged and all scratched up and dents all over the appliances. Costco just shrugs their shoulders and says sorry, nothing can be done. Meanwhile my family is unable to do any form of washing or drying. They really don't care about you as a customer, it has been the most horrendous experience and worst customer experience I have ever come across in my life, not even in a third world country where I am from have I ever experienced such bad customer service and blatant disregard for the inconvenience that they caused. They just shrug their shoulders. Worst company ever, I will go out of my way to rather buy somewhere else. With them the level of frustration and bad customer experience is not worth the little savings your get. So much so for your slogan "Do the right thing."

    @Costco takes months to install a refrigerator. I am still waiting for them to come and install refrigerator (Costco boys left it in my garage) for than 20 days. Order Number: **. Not easy to get connected to Costco Logistics team. I have to wait at least 2 hours to talk to them. I have called more than 10 times about my refrigerator installation, still waiting!!! Failed to deliver refrigerator on time so, I ordered a new one but the delivery boys left it in my garage without installing. Fails again and again with their false promises. Every time they talk about compensation but not helping me with the refrigerator installation. @Costco failed to help me with the refrigerator installation. They scheduled 4 times but no one showed up. Wait! One time someone showed up to take the item back to the warehouse!!!     I have been a member at Costco for 20 years. The last 4 years we did not receive our membership rewards (2%) which would in theory cover the cost of the membership. Last year we complained and they said it was being mailed to an incorrect address. It was corrected but too late for new checks to be issued. We took that in stride and hoped for a better day. Of course being busy people we were not waiting for the Costco rebate to come however today I went to shop and they wanted an additional $180 (for a $120 membership). The solution was to wait in a 30 person deep line or go online to customer service which I did. More run around and eventually told to go back to the store and deal with the customer service.

    I am sorry but overpaying a company to charge you to shop there? You're not the only game in town Costco. The number one rule in business is the best customer you have is the one you already got. Apparently they don't get it or are just too big to care. Either way see ya Costco. I am glad to shop at local grocery stores or the other big warehouse competition. I am sure the dollar I save on your case of water is not worth the aggravation.

    I have been Costco Prime member for 7 years and visited Costco almost every weekend. Costco is really good as long you don't encounter any problem wit their customer service. But if you get into any issue resolving it will take months and you will find their customer support is horrible and takes hours to resolve simple issue. I bought a laptop assuming they have 2+2 year warranty, but when laptop failed in 13 months I figured out they will just deny the warranty claim by blaming power surge and you really can't do anything. So here is my another suggestion, avoid Costco for day today needs as when you enter Costco for milk you end up spending $100 bugs as they are designed to spend you many unwanted low quality products.

    GE JS645FL5DS Range is perfect. Simmering without boiling works well for making bone broth (overnight). Range heats quickly to correct temperature. Easy to clean cook top. We have used it daily for 3 months with no issues. Previously had Samsung Gas range that was awful. Ordered online through Costco. Super easy order and delivery/ installation! Matte black has a nice look that goes well with our other stainless steel appliances.

    I bought a washing machine and dryer from Costco.com to be delivered on July 19th. Delivery and hookup were right on time. As soon as they left a load of clothes was done and the dryer would not work. I called immediately and was told a new dryer would be delivered within 5 days. 5 days later...nothing. 4 phone calls later (being on hold for hours and telling the same story over and over), I was told I had a new delivery date...July 5th, today.

    Today as I waited for this delivery, I got call that the dryer was "lost"...who loses a dryer??? Yet another phone call and was told I had to either reorder or get a long lengthy refund. What the heck...that's it? Now I sit waiting for the magical email to tell me when the next delivery date will be. Costco outsources their deliveries and have absolutely no control over when anything will happen. Don't bother calling them. Go to Lowe's, Home Depot or any other appliance store and do not waste your time with these people.

    New Costco member and have had no problems with the Costco employees, in fact they have been very friendly and helpful. The problem is in getting a Costco credit card. I have great credit and have a bunch of credit cards. But getting one from Costco is horrible. For some reason they seem to think I need to send them a copy of a bank statement, my tax return, a copy of my phone or utility bill. Got on the phone and got nowhere. The person on the other end spent 10 minutes going over everything I had originally submitted and kept saying they needed more information but never did say what information was needed. Goodbye, don't need another credit card. Hope the rest of my experiences will be OK.

    Just reporting a very very bad experience trying to purchase washer/dryer from U.S.A Costco Online. First delivery scheduled for 6/3 no show, called online. Was told had to call their logistics dept. Waited on hold for U.S.A Costco Online 87 minutes and was told product had not been received, they set up another delivery date for 6/12. Same results. No delivery. Called U.S.A Costco Online. This time the wait for their logistics dept was 145 min. Called U.S.A Costco Online back and they could not tell me where the product was. I canceled the order and was told I would receive a credit within a few days. It is now 6/22 and no refund. I never received the washer/dryer. No one at U.S.A Costco Online could not tell me why and can’t seem to get a refund. So disappointed in U.S.A Costco Online.

    Interesting that Costco can’t tell a customer where the appliances are and the status of items. It seems Costco has no concern for delivery. Just selling. Update. It is now 6/29 and no refund. On chat with the Costco customer service today and still get the same ** which is they will escalate which is what I was told on 6/22. You can’t get to a person or dept with Costco. Only contact is customer service that they contract out. Not sure what a person can do to resolve a problem. Can someone from Costco please resolve this problem.

    I had my first LG Washtower delivered by Costco April 1, 2021. I had called Costco a few days prior to delivery to ask if there was anything I needed to purchase for the installation, as I had read a few reviews from people saying the installers were not full equipped with all the parts. I was assured that they would come with EVERYTHING needed, the dryer vent, the hoses for the washer, etc. Well, the unit has a steam capability that requires an extra set hoses, the installer did not have that. No problem, my fiancé is very handy, we went to Home Depot, bought the "steam kit" and he installed it for me. In the process he noticed a fairly large dent in the side of the machine, and convinced me that an over $2,000.00 machine should not be delivered dented and I should request Costco replace it. Seems simple, right? This is where things start to descend into the Costco quagmire.

    Over the next month I made several phone calls to customer service about replacing the dented unit. I was given a Service Report number, notes were made on my file, and I was told someone would call me within a few days. Nobody ever called me. On my third attempt, I got a customer service rep who said she could handle it for me right there, while I was on the phone, and expressed surprise that the other two I'd spoken with hadn't done that. Great! A new machine would be coming within a week.

    The new delivery team arrives with my new machine, this time I actually look the machine over first, it looks great, no dents. Then it becomes clear that the two younger members of the team are being trained. The older gentleman, speaking in Spanish, is directing them. They need to remove a small panel from the back of the machine to attach the power cord. After a few moments, I could tell there was a problem...it was taking much too long. The younger guys have been working on it with a power screwdriver. Then I'm told the electric box is broken and will rattle and make noise every time I use it. They want to switch the one they've just broken (I have them on video accusing each other of having broken it), with the machine they are here to pick up, which has been working just fine.

    I agree to this, until I see them working too hard to get this done, at which point I tell them to just take both machines away. For $2K, I'd like an undamaged machine with no electrical issues. Innovel calls me right away to confirm that I've refused the delivery. I confirm and tell them why. They arrange for the delivery of a new (3rd) machine the following week.

    This brings me to Memorial Day weekend. The new machine is supposed to be delivered in the afternoon of Tuesday, June 1. I was away for Memorial Day weekend figuring I'd have plenty of time to get back in time for the delivery. The evening before call didn't happen, instead I was called about 7am to tell me they'd be at my place in about an hour and a half, approx. 9:30am.

    I told the man that was a problem, since I was at least an hour drive away and still in bed. We agreed on 10am, I got out of bed and rushed to get everything together to get home on time. I texted to let him know I made it within our timeframe and he could come anytime with the machine. A couple of hours go by and I'm texting asking what's going on. He calls to tell me his truck is stuck under a bridge and they are waiting for assistance to get it unstuck.

    They finally show up, I look the machine over and one side of it is completely bashed in, even worse than the original one I'd returned. I refuse the delivery and Innovel calls me right away. I explain what happened, he asks if I'd been informed that I could keep that machine until a new one could be delivered, so I'd at least have laundry machines. I tell him that wasn't mentioned. Then he tells me the LG Washtowers are currently out of stock and Costco has no idea when they might be getting more. He offers to reach out to the driver and ask him to bring the bashed in one back. He comes back on the line and tells me he can't reach the driver, but can arrange to have it redelivered on the upcoming Saturday.

    Again, no evening before call, instead I get the 7am call. They want to confirm that I understand I am taking delivery of a damaged machine. Throughout the morning they keep in reasonable touch with me about their timeline. The delivery team calls me to say they will be arriving in about 10-minutes. While I'm on the phone he says, "Wait! How high is this bridge? Oh, it's only 11'9", my truck is over 13' high, we can't pass under this bridge." The next thing I know I'm getting a call from an Innovel rep., she's in California, I'm in Evanston, a small city that sits on the northern border of Chicago. She's trying to find out from me where the team is and what bridge they're talking about. I tell her I have no idea, Evanston is very easy to get to, it's not some little out-of-the-way hamlet. I don't know what bridges they're referring to.

    I'm asking her why they can't use their nav system to find a better route? She's looking at a map and telling all the ways she can see that they could be taking and she doesn't understand why they're having a problem. She puts me on hold to speak to them. While she's doing that I went on the Costco website and saw that my product is back in stock AND a couple of hundred dollars cheaper. The Innovel rep comes back on the line to tell me the delivery team have said they cannot get to me and will not be delivering the item. At the point I tell her to just cancel it and issue me a refund.

    I went ahead and ordered the new machine at the lower price point, something Costco should have already been offering me for all this trouble. I'm hoping that a fresh order will be free from all the issues that the current order has had. Sadly, that does not seem to be the case. Although their website said it was in stock and gave me a delivery date of June 28, three weeks later. It is now June 27, I have had none of the usual delivery communications from Costco, no charge has been put on my credit card for the purchase, and when I called the customer service, today, to ask if it was being delivered or not, I got an auto system telling me that someone would be contacting me when my item was released for delivery. Their website now has my machine listed as out-of-stock again.

    I have now been without laundry machines for over 2-months...even though Costco has had my $2,000! A few weeks ago I took everything over to my fiancé's house to launder. I've been trying to hold on until this new machine arrives, because it's such a pain to take all your dirty laundry somewhere else. I even purchased new sheets for my bed, so I could have clean sheets to sleep on. Now that I know my delivery will not be coming tomorrow, I will have to take my laundry out again to do.

    I have been told time and again that someone higher up in Costco would be reaching out to me to get this situation resolved, that they will make sure I am happy. Someone actually did reach out to me last week. It was a customer service rep who saw a return item of a ping pong table on my file. He decided to look a little closer and saw that there was no record of me purchasing a ping pong table from them and decided to call me. Ridiculous!! But, never in three months of this fiasco has anyone higher up on the Costco chain-of-command reached out to me to take control of this situation.

    The only reason I've stuck with them is the extended warranty. Everyone is offering a standard one-year manufacturing warranty from LG. Costco not only offers 24-months, but if you use their card to purchase it, there's a further 24-month extended warranty, bringing your warranty from 12-months to 48-months. But, it's getting to the point where even that is no longer enough to hold the purchase!

    I do have an order placed on 05/29/2021 with delivery date as June 7th 2021. But Costco delivery service failed to deliver it even after rescheduling THREE times (June 7th, June 12th, June 16th). I do have a screenshot shows that I had to call customer service (888-803-3459) many times and be on hold for 9+ hours to know what's going on. NO ONE RESOLVED the issue. It's been almost 20 days past my original delivery date. Until this kind of customer treatment I haven't felt that Costco has the WORST customer service and delivery service.

    Yesterday I talked to Logistics team agent and she said she escalated my case to SEVEN managers with email and assured that I will get some response. IN this whole process, I have never received a call or email from the driver or customer service on what's going on with delivery or what happened to my order. That's very frustrating. How can Costco provide this kind of Worst experience for Costco members who are with them for 15+ years.

    I ordered a Louisiana grill, assembled and delivered from Costco. The hopper box caught on fire and it burnt the box, bubbling the paint. It was not assembled correctly. After hours on hold they agreed to get me another and pick up the old one. When they dropped off the new grill they refused to pick up the old unit even though customer service said they would. I called customer service back and after 90 minutes on hold they told me I could sell it for scrap metal. Then a week later customer service called me, leaving a voice mail, saying to call back for a pick up. I just called and the person who answered after 30 minutes on hold said she wasn't the right person and it would be another 2 hours plus on hold. Never Costco again.

    The best things Costco have going for it is proximity & deli items. CSRs in self checkout are snippy & it is ridiculous they do not allow customers to scan their own items with a scan gun; nor do they have a scan and go app. Self checkout CSRs are abrupt & crowd over you at times.     I've been the Costco member many years and that was my first time I ordered furniture online and wow wow wow: they cancelled my orders, nobody even called me, that's fine. I spent hours for waiting to figure out what was a reason: they said the billing address; then after hours being on the phone they verified nothing is wrong with my billing address and suggested to wait when a new order would be processed. Then ... same stuff happened., spending hours on the phone again ...finally no furniture, money is on hold for 5 days, and they suggested to place a new order. Sorry, it is so shame. Representatives even did not try to find a root of the problem. It was my first and last time, no more try.

    On February 2021 we purchased a diamond ring at Costco. The price was over $3,000.00 dollars. This was a very big purchase for my boyfriend and I as we celebrated our 15 years together. 4 months later, On June 12, 2021, I went out for the day. I wore my ring and when I got home in the evening, the diamond on my ring was missing! It had fallen off and I don't know where. The diamond was 0.7 karat four prongs holding it. The ring should have had 5 prongs holding it instead of just 4. I'm so sad and disappointed. I took the ring to Costco and they said they will notify me in 8-10 weeks whether or not the diamond will be replaced or if I'm just out of luck!! I hope and pray that they do the right and fair thing.

    Tried to purchase a product at a discount offered by Costco. When I went to buy it on the morning of the last day of the discount, the website and a chat said that the product was out of stock and the discounted rate was therefore no longer available. I checked back early the next morning, and the product was available again, but at the non-discounted price. I tried customer service and they were unwilling to honor their offer. I find it hard to believe that they were out of stock on Sunday, but back in stock at 6:30 am on Monday at a higher price. Plus, customer service was unwilling to consider the situation. Poor customer relations, questionable advertising.

    In early April, I ordered and paid for a new washer and dryer from Costco. The site said that because of Covid, it would be delayed a few weeks. Then, I got good news - it was at their warehouse and would be delivered to me on June 7 between 2 and 4 pm. On June 6, I got an email telling me it would be delivered "tomorrow between 2 and 4 pm."

    On June 7, no call, no email, no text, no delivery. I called on Monday, and over the next 3 hours of hold and talking, I was told that Costco.com has no control over what Costco Logistics does, and Logistics may have put off delivery of my washer/dryer because I stupidly ordered an entire kitchen appliance package for delivery at the end of June, and Logistics may have decided to deliver it all together, which I told them was totally unacceptable. So, they said that a supervisor from Costco Logistics would call me within 24-48 hours to verify that it would be delivered on the new delivery date of June 11. Nobody ever called me. I called them - and after another 3 hours on hold or talking to a staff person, I finally got a Logistics Supervisor, who swore to me that my items would be delivered on June 11.

    I got an email on the 10th saying it was loaded and would be delivered between 3:45 and 5:45 on the next day. I got an email in the morning of the 11th saying it would be delivered between 3:45 and 5:45 "this afternoon." That was the last I heard from Costco that day. The next day, I got an email from Costco asking me how much I was enjoying my new washer and dryer. I called Costco.com one more time - and at the end of 3 hours, I had a new delivery date (which I'm not counting on actually happening), an complaint number, and a phone number for Costco headquarters - which I will be calling tomorrow. I also had an hour of Costco.com telling me it was Costco Logistics who were causing the problem.

    The only good thing that happened on the 3 hour call was when the Costco Logistics supervisor complained because the local Costco Warehouse office hung up on them - apparently, Costco employees treat each other like they treat Costco customers. When I asked why they had to put off the new delivery date another week, first, they told me that the delivery trucks are all scheduled out for the first of the week - they can't find a truck to deliver it to me. When I complained about that, they told me that it was because the warehouse has lost my appliances. Then, as a total kicker, I went on Costco.com to rate my appliances, and said that I can't rate them because Costco won't deliver them to me, and Costco removed my review because I was reviewing Costco, not my appliances. They don't allow people to review them. I wonder why...

    I have been a Costco member for the past 15 years until the Covid Pandemic. After watching a customer rep trying to tell the parents of a child (maybe 2 or 3 years old) to wear a mask to protect people and seeing this little girl cry I knew I wasn't renewing my membership. I have been a first responder for 20 plus years and I was disgusted with this behavior from a person that had obviously no medical experience or human experience whatsoever.... Then while standing in line a group of Costco (goons) employees start making a scene about a customer eating a hotdog inline. He had slipped the hot dog under his mask to take a bite. The employees started getting loud which made my family feel uncomfortable. Costco or its unprofessional employees won't ever make my family feel uncomfortable again. I cancelled my membership and that was the best feeling ever since this pandemic!

    I've been dealing with the Hearing Dept. at Costco in Brighton MI for 15 years. I just picked up my new hearing aids after having lost my last set. Made it through COVID with the face masks for well over a year. Trust me that masks and behind the ear hearing aids don't mix well - the mask wins. Went to dinner a few weeks ago and came away with lost hearing aids. Costco's Kirkland top of the line is not only top quality but super reasonable. The fact that they insure a lost set for folks like me is a huge plus. I called. They ordered the replacement set and I can again hear. On top of that, the service is always first rate. Friendly, professional and always fast and efficient. Costco's Hearing Service in Brighton is 5 Star Plus.

    This is the worst online ordering / delivery experience I've ever had. I ordered a mattress online from Costco. They gave me a delivery date of 6/5. Received a voicemail from them stating they warehouse didn't get the item and they'd let me know when it did. They did not elaborate on when that would be or if it'd be the same day. Called them back and sat on hold for 2 HOURS! Finally got through and they rescheduled for 6/10. Received a delivery window of 9am-11am. No one showed up. It hit 5pm and I called them again. Sat on hold for another 2 HOURS!! Finally got through to someone who told me the item didn't make it on the truck and they had to call the warehouse. They put me on hold and the call disconnected. They never called me back.

    I noticed on my account the delivery was then rescheduled for 6/12 and it said (called customer) which they did NOT. 6/12 delivery did not work for me. I went on the site and rescheduled for today 6/11. The day went on and no one showed up. Called them AGAIN and waited for 2 hours AGAIN. The associate told me that the warehouse is "a mess" and they can't find items that need to be delivered. He told me I should reschedule the deliver for at least 2 days from now to give them time to "find it".

    This is absolutely pathetic. I have waited around for hours on end for a delivery. Sat on hold for hours on end to speak to these people. I would never EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER order a bulk item from Costco online again. It's 2021. You should not have a 2 hour wait to speak to someone with no other contact options such as email or chat (the chat agent says they can't assist with these problems).

    I was bitten multiple times and nights at the Hacienda Del Mar in Cabo. I tried calling Costco internationally feeling helpless after the hotel said they were only paid commission by Costco. When I landed back in states at LAX it got worse. No access to food or drink which made me more sick ultimately ending up in ICU and Costco telling me it’s a 4-6 week delay for response to complaints then the hotel charge me $125 when I return and I don’t even know how they got my cc but from Costco. I almost died and Costco hasn’t even sent the formal complaint form promised.

    I purchased a sofa and loveseat in Pearl White in April 2021. It was scheduled for delivery in April. When received the items were Beige in color and I refused delivery and the shipping company returned the items to the manufacturer. Over $4,200.00 of my money has been held by Costco since then. I have called customer service on many occasions and am told that my refund is in process. It is now June 2, 2021 and still no refund. This is OUTRAGEOUS behavior on the part of Costco. I will never again order anything online from Costco! One other note, the manufacturer does not make the product in Pearl White however Costco still advertises it as available in Pearl White. My refund should have been immediately processed!!!

    Mall of Ga location *** general Manager **. **(manager) and **(membership) are RACIST. I have shopped at Costco for 20+ years as a Costco family member. Recently got a new membership at the Cummings location however was given a day pass as the card printer was down. Ensuing day I went to the Mall of Ga location (where I’ve been shopping for the past 10 years), however their printer was also down so received another day pass. The young lady at the Membership was, as always, helpful.

    Two days after I went back to the Mall of Ga location In hope to get a new card. While I had set up my member with my GA Drivers’ license I had request to have part of my alias on the card. ** (who I have seen countless times at Membership) refused to give me a card because my alias was not on my driver’s license. I explained everything, attempted to show credit card I used to set up account, email confirming membership, he flat out told me “It is not you, go back to cummings and have them print it.” I requested to speak to a manager. Sam whispers to ** (manager on duty) for a good 3 to 5 minutes. ** pads Sam on the shoulder and he headed my direction. ** asked “how can I help you”. **I responded, "I’m sure ** explained everything to you." ** asked if my Alias was on my driver license. ** (a manager), flat out, refused to listen nor assist.

    ** interrogated me just as some - if not many - police officers would to **. ** was disrespectful and exhibited racial hatred. He interrogated me as a Prosecutor. I was insulted, embarrassed, and hurt that a place I have shopped for 10 years (about) would treat me as such. I see these two gentlemen often. Sad to say ** and ** are both racist!! This is just the beginning as I plan to explore other options. Next, ** (store #366 Mall of Ga), Costco Corporate office. **Please note 90% of the staff are super friendly!!! I can’t take that away from them!!

    I bought a LG TV 86" six months ago. The left side of the screen light was darker. I contacted Costco and then my case was submitted to LG because is the first year. LG sent a Tech first time with wrong parts, then second time the Tech had to replace the backlights of the screen and removed the frame of the screen forcing the screen and many parts. After several attempts he could not put it together and LG now is telling me that I broke the screen when in reality the TECH left the TV in pieces and the corners of the screen are now broke. 3rd Tech came attempted to replace the screen and at the end could not put it together because the previous Tech took some of the parts. Now LG keeps transferring my calls and not resolving my problem. LG customer service is really really bad!

    HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE PERTAINING TO DELIVERY!! I did an online purchase of Accent Console from Costco, the item was supposed to be delivered on 5/17/2021 and a confirmation call was supposed to come 24 hours before the delivery time. Automated notification call came in at 4 AM, why doesn't Costco set up automated calls wrt Time Zones?

    No one showed up to deliver the furniture, calling Costco Logistics had a wait time of ~30-50 minutes, and the initial agent who took my call disconnected the call after getting the information. I then had to wait for another 30 mins to talk to a second agent, she was not able to find any helpful information on why the item was not delivered.. All she could offer was to help with rescheduling the delivery to 5-19-2021... to which I agreed because there was no other option.

    The same thing happening on 5-19-2021, got an automated call exactly at 4 AM and none showed up for delivery... Customer care had a wait time of 45 mins and the lady who took my call disconnected it without giving me any kind of helpful information.. She didn't even have the courtesy to call me back.. I don't know what else to do at this time. I can wait for a few more days or a week but the issue here is why Costco cannot deliver things on time and if it's delayed, why Costco cannot keep me updated about the delay.. This is really really bad.. I really hope this review would help someone else!!!

    On 5/8/2021 I ordered a mattress and box spring on the Costco website. It gave me the option of setting up a delivery the following Wednesday (5/12). The evening before I received an email confirming the next day delivery. The following morning I received another email stating they would be delivering between 4:30-6:30 that evening. My wife and I reworked our schedules to accommodate this delivery window. They never called and never showed.

    The following morning I called Costco logistics, they apologized and reset our delivery for the following Friday (5/14). We got the same evening confirmation email and the following morning we received an email giving a delivery window of 4:00-6:00. At 4:00 I called Costco customer service, after 30 minutes on hold the agent explained she had no information and she would transfer me to logistics. After over another hour on hold I asked for a supervisor, I was told there was none. I was told they would not be delivering because they only had 1 of the 2 items ordered. No explanation as to why we weren’t called and no idea when we would receive.

    This morning, Saturday (5/15) I called customer service, asked for a supervisor and was disconnected. I called back and actually got one on the line. She contacted logistics and could not provide an eta. She apologized repeatedly but bottom line, we need a mattress by tomorrow and Costco couldn’t care less. The supervisor is setting up the credit on my credit card and I’ll be shopping locally today for a mattress I need tomorrow. This is the single worst customer service experience I have ever had.

    Bought a mattress from Costco, did not like it, ordered another one about 3 days later, they delivered it, then I asked them to pick up 1st mattress, that was 3 weeks ago, still have it. Also ordered a couch for almost $2000.00. When delivered, the couch was the most uncomfortable one I ever sat on, called Costco 2 hours later to return as per their policy. I have spent a total of at least 7 hours in the last week trying to get a time for a pick up, talked to at least 5 to 6 people, all they do is give me to another party, today the 12th of May I waited for 3 hours on the phone, all I get is they will will get Costco logistics to put a priority on it (that is the third time I was told that I pay $120.00 a year and buy a lot however Costco feels that for that I deserve a run around). (This is the last online order from Costco.) I have been a member for over 10 years.

    On Feb. 19th, 2020 I purchased a Samsung 75" with 5 years warranty, the first 2 years with Costco. The TV was defective and doesn't open with the remote control while the power source is good. Calling Costco concierge it took me 81 minutes over three days to reach the despatch team. The guy asks me where the TV is hung at the wall or on the stand, I say: "It is at the wall," the technician says: "Sorry we don't serve TV at the wall, you have to dismount it down," I say: "I am living alone, and I can help one technician from your side to dismount and mount the TV again," but he refuses this offer.

    After days I could get help from my son to dismount the TV, calling the dispatch department again, but the waiting time was so long, even the voice mailbox was full, so couldn't be in touch with them. Lastly, I realized that the Costco warranty is false, their team is so reluctant and not qualified to serve their customers, and the only way to be safe is to stop buying any electrical items from this store.

    I ordered a dishwasher from Costco on April 11. We ordered through Costco because we wanted the full service: no hassle-white glove-full installation-haul away our old machine. When we ordered, the contract stated that the washer would be delivered on Friday April 23 and that we would be contacted the day before the delivery to be given a window for the installation to take place on Friday April 23. I planned accordingly and cancelled the trip I was going to take over a long weekend.

    On Thursday April 22 we did not receive a phone call and when I called Costco, they could not get in touch with the installer. Friday April 23, I called many times over many hours and Costco could not get in touch with the installers. Then after this wasted day, it was discovered that the machine had not even been shipped even though the tracking for the machine still showed the original delivery date with no changes. That was a total lie and wasted my weekend. There were many times I called into Costco chasing this problem down.

    To make a long story short. It is May 7 and I still don't have my appliance installed. I was told it would happen on on April 30, May 3, May 4, May 5, and May 7. It has not. I could not count all the hours I have spent trying to track this down. I would warn anybody against using Costco for appliances that need to be ordered and installed.

    I have been a customer for over 20 years. We shop there at least twice a week and spend a decent amount each time. Recently we purchased a Sonicare toothbrush. Two weeks later we went back in the store and saw the newer model was on sale for the same price. We purchased the newer model and took the original one back to the store in the original box and packaging. The customer service representative embarrassed us in front of a crowd expressing we return too many items and we are going to be put on a special list that Costco is going to monitor our purchases.

    Costco is part of the fear mongering government with the Mask requirements. My wife and I went to shop here (My wife wore a mask). I did not. Currently in Utah there is no mask mandate. They said they will not do business with either of us because I did not have a mask. I went to get a refund on my membership that I’ve had for 12+ years and the employee was wearing her mask on her chin the whole time with the manager standing next to her. I took a picture. So I do have that. My wife told her, "You realize your company just refused to do business with us over my husband not wearing a mask and here you are not wearing your mask."

    This is how Costco operates. Pay for a membership so they feel they have the right to tell their customers what to do, but do not have the same rules for their employees. This is America. This big business ** has to stop. Bring back real customer service. Apparently Costco doesn’t need small business consumers anymore. I will no longer shop at Costco. I am letting my friends and family know that this business doesn’t deserve Americans' money.

    Our experience at Costco this Monday morning the 5th of April was not very good. I have been going to Costco for over a decade now and always had a great experience and served with respect. It is one of our favorite places to shop and have always recommend Costco to everyone we know and will continue to but... On Monday Sharon at the till was having a bad day and it seems it started when she saw us, she was fine when she was dealing with the 2 customers before us.

    We placed most of the items on the till as we always do and left two or three boxes like Tide pods etc in our cart so that it would make it easier for her to scan but she insisted that they get placed on the till, and immediately placed a sanitizer and paper towels at the end of the till so no one else could put their groceries after ours, and started scanning our groceries. The lady behind us even asked her, "Do you need me to clean something," Sharon said something to her but I could not make out. Then after she scanned the items I paid.

    Since COVID the cashiers puts the items back in the cart. Sharon didn’t do that. As soon as I paid she handed me the receipt (no. ** Dated 2021/04/05 10:00:34am) and left all items where they were on the other end and started to clean and sanitize the whole station starting on the opposite end. I kept looking at her and eventually my wife asked if we should put our own groceries in and she said “yes go ahead” as though I should have known that I was to load the groceries in.

    We’ve always been asked to stand back due to Covid but I had to break the 6 ft rule so that I could load my own groceries, by this time I was getting quite upset with her attitude and the way she was treating us. Strangely the till got sanitized after my groceries, but 2 customers prior to me went through without the station being cleaned! Sharon H, please keep in mind body language when you are working with customers, and if you can’t control yourself from having racist feelings towards others then you are in the wrong profession.

    I went to the Ancaster Hamilton store a day before the lockdown on Thursday April 8th 2021. I am disabled in a wheelchair. When I got there I was ready to wait in the long lineup as it was a beautiful day out, as I approached the lineup one of the workers from Costco came out and asked me to go to the front of the line and they would let me in. So I went ahead of other people as I didn’t know if there was a purpose for this as I could have waited in line like everyone else. When getting in to the building I noticed that there was no carts for wheelchairs so my sister went and got a regular one, as I have pushed them before.

    Again one of the ladies came to me and replied “hold on” we will get someone to help you. That’s what she did, she got a gentleman worker to push the cart so that my sister could push me. I have to thank the Costco workers from Ancaster, from the bottom of my heart in helping me get in and out in 45 minutes as I have a suppressed immune system. With Covid 19 going on you can never be too sure. Thank you and stay safe Costco, you are the best.

    I hope Costco reads this review as the current “Captain Cook Barbecue” they are selling is way overpriced for what you get. 30 years ago I purchase a “Captain Cook” Barbecue from Barbecue Galore in Escondido California. At the time the unit cost $550.00 and was a four burner. I Barbecue a minimum of once a week, 52 weeks a year. So consider this review from a frequent user. With replacement of three burners and two ignition knobs on the front of the Barbecue the unit lasted and worked wonderfully for 25 years. Five years ago, my wife talked me into replacing the unit (today that is much to my sorrow). I purchased a five burner with side burner (to use cooking with pots or pans) “Captain Cook” Barbecue from Costco. My hope was that this unit would be as capable and lasting at my original. NOPE!!!

    After five years, I’ve already replaced one burner and two other are going to have to be replaced. The burners were originally manufactured from Cast Iron (Thick and lasting) but have been change to the standard stainless steel that are so prevalent. Once stainless steel is heated up a few times, its structure will RUST OUT and fail to function properly or SAFELY. The Catch all pan in the bottom of the unit rusted out and collapsed within 18 month. A replacement would have cost me 1/3 the price of a new Barbecue.

    I went to a local sheet metal shop and they bent one up for me for $20.00. The Grills within one year were rusted out, and replacing them would have cost as much as a new Barbecue. I have sand blasted them each year since and cured them in the oven, they are a cheap cast iron. Bottom line, between customer support, cost of parts and the Barbecue construction overall………I rate this unit as a failure and suggest a cheap one a Home Depot instead. At least that way you know it’ll have to be replaced within a few years and you only spend 1/3 of what a “Captain Cook” cost.

    Despite that Costco says White Glove Delivery is delivery and assembly/setup, their delivery vendors don’t assemble! If you order a 400 lb patio set, you are on your own; count on it! Whoever is responsible for setting up vendors from Costco hasn’t bothered to let the delivery vendors know what Costco tells their customers that white glove delivery is more than dropping off purchased items. So many hours are required to work through all the mistakes of Costco. Keeping this brief but my multiple experiences with costco online purchases have been awful. I'm never buying from costco online again. I dont write reviews often. But, that is how bad my many purchase experience has been. If I can save only one person the pain of doing business with costco online, the time it took to write this is worth it.

    I called customer service recently to report that I didn’t receive my new credit cards. I asked for the cards to be reissued in case they were stolen or lost in the mail. The customer service rep said she’ll issue new cards, but failed to mention that she went ahead and closed my account and issued new cards under a new account number. Now I can’t use my existing credit card, which doesn’t expire until Mar 2022. I’m also worried that the closure/opening of my account affects my credit rating. What kind of idiot would do this without informing the customer??!!! Horrible service!

    Sorry, but this isn't right. The issue is specifically with a set of appliances I got from Sears.com but the service there is so very bad that I have to say that it relates to the parent company, since delivery is also coordinated through Costco. There were obviously some COVID-related issues with delivery, but honestly, this goes past that. The coordination between the Sears website, the (third-party) drivers, and the Costco delivery network is very, very poor and I am a person who feels like I don't need catering to, but it turns out I am not the only person experiencing this AT ALL!

    Time and time again my delivery has been rescheduled and the drivers are often not sure what they are supposed to do. Often they have rented a vehicle to deliver. Is that fair to drivers OR customers? Then rescheduling is set and when someone finally delivers they can't install it because it's a gas line, which is not a terribly unusual thing. Then I call to reschedule, I am told that they will send the right person out. I spend a day waiting, and the driver doesn't show up!

    Then they say they will refund me for my trouble within 24-48 hours and they don't refund me! Then I write to say they didn't refund me and they said: "We don't do refunds." That's not just disorganized. That's not just unethical. I'm pretty sure it's against that law and moreover that a credit card company can decline to do business with a company that fails to follow-through on a refund. It's not good!

    I ordered a fridge 2/10. Sat 2 weeks at warehouse awaiting a 3rd party delivery as they hire out, and I'm considered rural. On 3/2 when they unloaded the product AT MY HOME. They had noticed the power cord had been cut through! Why didn't you notice when you picked up? Don't you inspect your cargo? While may be 3rd party a poor excuse to lay blame somewhere else. If you want to sell a product YOU are and should be held responsible for EVERYTHING! Expedited the replacement order 3/2, 3/13 no fridge and not scheduled until 3/18 delivery now.

    I have pages of call logs, most say they will call back none do, ask supervisors get nothing. If you can't hold up to helping your customer receive the product in a timely manner then don't sell it, stop using my living location as a reason for you falling short on holding up to the standards expected. Don't offer this in an area that you are unable to control what happens or make it to where we have to wait extra days or weeks to receive our product. I'm so beyond upset and disappointed in this company and truly saddened on how it feels like a major requirement of a household seems to be SO unimportant to most I speak with.

    I STRESSED how I had a total shoulder replacement surgery 3/12 and had family moving into my home to help care for me during recovery. Now we have 3 adults and kids to feed with NO fridge/freezer. Coolers work but come on, I'm in my 60s and feel like all I've received from Costco is ** excuses and hearing employees say I understand but we can't do anything. 1 employee said she had her stuff sitting so weeks so she rented a moving truck and got herself! How do you allow a company to treat you that way? How is this acceptable?

    I wish I could rate 0 stars. COSTCO IF YOU CANT COMPLETE A PROCESS IN A TIMELY AND FAST MANNER DONT OFFER IT! Take ownership of your short fallings and make it right! I've worked customer service/shipping/manufacturing most life and I know if you get the right people they can make things happen. Truly feel this isn't happening right now. I hope they pull through and I can change this but seriously dropped the ball as of now! Leaving hospital soon and almost wish they could send me home with a fridge/freezer as buying ice isn't an added expense I expected onto of all my bills from surgery/recovery. Ugh.. Buyer beware!

    My husband and I have been long-time customers of Costco. We have made frequent visits for both private and business purchases. At this point in time, I want Costco to go out of business for supporting and promoting the politics that has filled their own coffers and has led to the destruction of small businesses which is supposed to be the clientele they support. I am also disappointed in their attempts to control the private, medical behavior of their customers and for harassing the customers who don't comply by following them with their walkie-talkies, manhandling their shopping carts, and being disrespectful because of their political prejudices. They are using their prejudices to humiliate and kick good customers out of the store.

    After being treated this way I demanded the closure of my account. No business that treats its customers this way should remain in business. They deserve to reap what they sow - which is the complete failure of their own business. Support the small businesses Costco helped to destroy for their own personal initiatives, and help Costco fail the way they encouraged small businesses to fail.

    I booked a trip to Punta Cana in early 2020 not knowing the catastrophic COVID-19 was about to shut down the entire world. With that said, I was able to get the hotel cost refunded, yet the most expensive part of my trip (flight ticket), were not refunded but gracefully (I am being sarcastic), COSTO and the airline partnering with, gave me till 2021 credit flight. Well, with the ongoing and dramatic losses in the family, I had no choice to ask for the flight refunds. To my surprise, COSTO and their partnering airlines (American Airline), do provide the refund, but not without charging a whopping $210.00 fees (in my case $420.00). So, my recommendation for anyone not experienced booking international traveling through COSTCO TRAVEL, is ask as many question as possibly or spend ungodly hours reading their rules and regulations (don't forget the fine print). I hope someone finds my not so good experience beneficial. Nelson **

    Once I buy from Costco, I probably won’t need to use Costco membership for everyday use. I might use it once or twice a month. The membership fee is too high. I became a member and used my membership only about 10 times in a year. I went to buy today and since my membership was expired they did not have the courtesy to offer me a one time buy. Instead they said, "You can have the product if you renew it today your membership." I told them that I had money for the product and can renew it later but they said no and embarrassed me. I left all my purchases in the cart. As a human being how am I supposed to know what purchases I make for the next day or month and if Costco is the only store I should use. This is unfair after paying a membership fee of 120 dollars and using the store card for just only few days.

    I'm a 20+ years Coscto Customer. Recently, an HP laptop purchased from Costco broke with normal usage (no shock/accidental damage) One of the hinges dismantled/came loose and dislocated, cracking the laptop touch screen. A real nightmare began after then when I tried contacting Costco concierge service. Numerous calls withholding time 90 minutes to 2 hours. Frustrating waiting times and the associates put you on hold for 30-40 minutes, and then hang up on you. Concierge associate hung up on me several times. I even escalated to a manager, Cory-he promised me to get a call back and email in 48 hours.

    I waited 7 days, NO RESPONSE! Called again-went thru the same drill- 69 minutes holding, then associate comes up, transfers me to a manager - IVAN - he says "we are transferring to Costco Warranty service" - total call duration so far 2 hours, 20 minutes - guess what, they HUNG UP ON ME again!! COSTCO SUCKS BIG TIME. I'M NEVER EVER EVER BUYING ELECTRONICS FROM COSTCO AGAIN! COSTCO SUCKS!!

    I have been buying Kirkland Signature premium bacon in a mesh 4 pack for years as it has always been the best anywhere. The last several times I have purchased it the quality has gone drastically downhill. As others are mentioning it is thin and stringy and full of fat. It is difficult to separate in the package and does not cook evenly and falls apart. The Taste is not as good anymore either and it almost has a gritty pretty, melting grease feeling in your mouth. I am surprised Kirkland would put their name on such a terrible product! I will no longer be buying Kirkland bacon unless they go back to the way it was pre 2020!

    I purchased 2 different multi packages of ladies' socks. I wear a size 6 1\2. Both multipacks might fit someone with a size 10 shoe. I went online to return due to COVID and because I purchased online. I received an email authorizing the return and that UPS could pick up (for free). Costco’s interface setting up returns with UPS does not work right. The order’s Costco was sending to UPS kept truncating by apt #, so UPS kept sending me notices they could not pick up and that only Costco could correct it.

    I spent over a month attempting this vicious cycle over and over with them and a very rude customer service manger, who basically was telling me I would have to go to the store to return and refused to refund me otherwise, despite this failure over a dozen times. I ordered online since I’m high risk for CV19 and repetitively said this was not what their website offered and not OK with me. I finally had to turn it into my chargecard company. After 30 days they charged it back to Costco. I’ve canceled my membership with Costco and will never purchase from them again.

    Tried the online service for the first time today. I did this for a number of reasons. The first being, I have a fractured wrist and torn shoulder, 2nd I cannot lift, 3rd as an RN working with COVID patients I try to stay indoors on my off days. So I get a text, "Water sold out. Place order again in a day or 2". Which means spend another 35.00 for free delivery and they add a tip to your bill. Inadequate service, no we will deliver when available. Just "we can't do anything about this." No perks to being a member. Never mind a Gold member. Very disappointing.

    Bought a TV and Extended Warranty online and returned about 1 month ago. The TV showed up broken and not even the model I ordered. They had to come back and pick it up which was good. 2 weeks or so went by, no refund. Called and waited on phone over an hour while a rep tried to help me. She called another department and got their input to what happened and found it was Costco at fault, some wrong code or similar issue. They said it was fixed and I would see a refund in 3-5 business days.

    I am now on day 6 or 7 and yet no refund. Chatted with another rep this morning online because I could not bear to do another hour on phone. Found that nothing had been escalated and no one can understand why my refund has not been sent. They say now my case has been escalated, so another 3-5 business days to wait. Asked to get a manager to escalate further and told it was impossible. I will never buy from Costco Online again and I recommend that to anyone else, this is a serious deficiency in their processes and customer service.

    This is not an unreasonable grievance but one that Costco needs to hear about. I purchased a new Lenovo Ideapad Flex 15 laptop computer in early February of this year and paid around $900. My husband is a 100% service-connected totally and permanently disabled veteran of the United States Marine Corps He needs a working laptop computer to have virtual online appointments with VA doctors and other medical specialists, especially due to the virus pandemic. The Lenovo laptop’s keyboard stopped working and Lenovo technical support could not get it to work. They thought the motherboard was defective and some other components including the keyboard. It is a lemon for sure.

    Lenovo promised on December 1, 2020 that it would send a technician to our home to try to fix the laptop or replace it with a working laptop. No technician has shown up yet and our repeated calls to Lenovo have been without avail. Costco told us that it can’t do anything until Lenovo’s one year warranty expires in February 2021. As far as we are concerned Lenovo’s warranty of one year is illusory and meaningless. We have been left holding the bag.

    Costco told us that it could do nothing about this situation. This situation does require some kind of a fair and meaningful remedy such as a: 1) a return and refund or 2) an exchange for a working laptop, or 3) give us credit for the laptop and we will pay extra for a better one. I hope that someone with authority in management at Costco reads this and does something for us.

    My husband and I decided it was time to buy a washer and dryer. We looked at different options at Costco because we just loved their stuff but we never tried their appliance department. The ones online we liked were a 4 week delivery estimate and we decided to wait. Meanwhile, we would do laundry at our relatives home for those four weeks. Well theirs ended up breaking down on them. Good thing my washer and dryer is coming right? Wrong. They came but the washer came damaged. We were not going to go to a laundry mat during Covid in our city so we decided to just wait for a new washer and just hang tight. Well customer service did not offer to make anything right but to just send a new washer. They said “sorry” and everything but we explained that we were hoping to get this done before Christmas.

    So now we are going on 4 months and 2 weeks with no laundry, our pile of clothes are up to the ceiling. They smell as you know and we live in a small space. We are so disappointed with the whole “oh well” mentally we received from Costco. Finally when our washer came today, the delivery people came with a new set, when we specifically asked for just a new washer. We just told them, “oh well” put the new set in right? Customer service said this was fine. It is such a shame we are remodeling our home and we wanted to use Costco for other appliances because we do our weekly shopping with them and are executive members this year (pre Covid). We are happy to take our business elsewhere as they are not the only ones who sell appliances. I do not recommend Costco for appliances at all, we are not happy with our experience. We are just relieved to finally have clean clothes again.

    My family and I have been going to Costco for over 15 years, having Business, Business Executive & Gold Star memberships over the years. We spend thousands of dollars yearly at this place. The other day, middle of December, I was doing some shopping on my own, (roughly 600$ worth of items), as a "household" member, having my Father's & Mother's Gold Cards both with me, and I was denied at checkout due to my photo not being on either of the Cards. We were told that as a household member this did not matter, since my mother and father have cards with their photos, in spite of my mother never using hers.

    I mentioned several times very kindly that this should not be an issue, however I was still denied checkout. Our memberships are in excellent standing, not expiring until April 2021. I did not want to argue with anyone or cause a scene in front of many people. Very unhappy, displeased and disrespected with this service.

    I have been a Costco member for 8 years and usually I am happy with Costco products and services. However, this has been a worst experience for such a big purchase through Costco. The reason I hold Costco responsible for this is because Costco didn't even try to help me any way with my problems with Sunrun. I have reached out to Costco and Costco did nothing to help me. I would have never purchased my panel from Sunrun if it wasn't through Costco. I trusted Costco and since I got the Sunrun through Costco, I thought I will have a good service, however this experience with Sunrun is a nightmare.

    My Solar Panel stopped working in 1st week of July 2020. After trying several times on the phone and long wait time, I finally spoke to a representative to get an appointment to speak to someone who can schedule an appointment for a technician. So, basically I couldn't even speak to someone who could help me with my appointment. No one called me back to schedule an appointment for days. I called back again and same thing. Finally I spoke to someone and the earliest appointment I got was October 13, 2020. Someone came on October 13, 2020 and checked the equipment and said they will come back to fix the equipment.

    For days, I didn't get any update when they will come to fix it. Finally, after reaching out to multiple people, I got a response that someone will come and fix the equipment on December 16, 2020. Meanwhile, Sunrun doesn't want to take responsibility of any of the bills I have been paying until they fix the system. They keep going back to the contract which states that they don't guarantee performance.

    However, they do have warranty but they can take as long as they want to fix the equipment, in my case it has been already 6 months and Today Dec 16, 2020 and someone was supposed to come to Fix the Solar Panel. And no one showed up. Now I have no idea when they will come to fix the Panel. I don't understand how it is fair on homeowners who have taken a loan to pay for these solar panels. Now I am paying the loans and the electric bill and stuck with a bogus company for 10-15 years of this kind of service and I am sure that I am not the only victim of this company.

    Ordered a TV on sale. Could have got the same TV @ the same price anywhere (at the time). Weeks later, after the delivery date, Costco cancels my order with no explanation. Now the TV is $500 more and I can't get it delivered in time for Christmas. Costco has been messing up orders a lot. They can no longer be trusted. If you can't pick it you probably won't get it, and they won't tell you about it until it's too late.

    I've been shopping at Costco for the last 15 years and I've seen consistent value and quality. I personally love the products, return policy, and experience. Whenever I'm shopping for something big like electronics, furniture, even jewelry, I always do a quick search on Costco's website and more than 80% of the time, I end up abandoning my shopping cart on other websites and go through with purchasing with Costco. The gas prices beat any place in town. Costco has large portions but they will absolutely make your life easier. Now I only have to shop once every two weeks, which saves me time and money. I also love the simple offerings at the food court and the organic options throughout the store. I know I'm getting the best quality for the best price at Costco, I really wish there were more Costco's in Connecticut, where I live.
