Stacy V, in Princeton NJ, was amazing! A guest behind us at the checkout lane was impatient while we were getting our items pre-scanned & she cut in front of us. Thankfully Stacy V saw this and allowed us to get in the spot we were originally in. The impatient guest even got mad and said something to us as well as Stacy due to an item accidentally not being scanned… but Stacy actually stood up for us. Absolutely amazing! She’s wonderful!

Have been a Costco member since 2001 and never looked back. Do they have issues sometimes that frustrate me? Yeah, all places do. However, Costco is the one place my kids don't complain about going shopping at. That's a win for any parent. Membership can be costly, but the savings are worth it in my opinion. In a world of meh companies, Costco is a beacon.

Very disappointing and concerning experience at Costco Bayonne on August 8, 2026, around 5:50 PM. I was stopped at the entrance and refused entry even though I explained that I have been a Costco member for about 10 years and my wife was already inside with my membership card. While I was waiting for my wife to come outside, I saw a white customer with a similar issue receive a temporary card and enter the store.
The difference in treatment made me feel singled out because I am Black. When I finally entered with my wife, the employee laughed at me, which felt disrespectful and humiliating. This was completely unprofessional and raised serious concerns about racial discrimination. Costco Bayonne should treat every customer equally, with respect and dignity, regardless of race or skin color. I hope management takes this incident seriously and properly addresses the staff's behavior.

I ordered $3,300 in bedroom furniture through Costco.com with a promised delivery date. It has failed twice. First attempt: marked "delivered" in tracking, but the driver had actually gone to the wrong location. Nothing was delivered despite the status update. Second attempt: the crew arrived at the correct address. One room was fully cleared and the path was clear; I was in the process of clearing the second room. One crew member told my wife they could wait up to 15 minutes if needed. A different crew member then arrived, took photos of the space, and left without waiting — even though I was present and finished clearing the room within about a minute. I offered to have them deliver to the ready room first while I finished the other room. That offer was ignored.
Costco support gave me a reference number and said compensation would be discussed once delivery is complete. The order has now been rescheduled a third time. I've been a Costco member for years and generally trust this company, which is why this experience has been so disappointing. Two avoidable failures, inconsistent information from the delivery crew, and no real accountability so far. Order #**.

On 7/3/2026 I ordered a portable air conditioner/heater online. I tracked my order for 6 days when it said it was delivered to my house. I have a ring camera and knew it hadn't been delivered on 7/9. I got in touch with Costco's customer service. I say customer service as a joke. I explained my delivery problem and was asked if I was able to pull up the address on their tracking site. I told them no. I didn't know at the time you could pull up a physical address on the UPS tracking site.
I assumed at that point, being customer service, they would research and ship out another air conditioner/heater, but to my disbelief he told me I would have to wait 5-7 days for Costco to research the problem before the refund department would send out a new unit on issue me a refund. The reason I say their customer service is a joke is because all they did for me was apologize and recite company policy. They had the same tracking information I had, but refused to either connect me to or go to the refund department themselves. I told them just to ship out another unit. Today is 7/17/2026 and unit still hasn't shipped.

Just spent $861 for four new tires for my car. I am pleased with the deal I got (and generally pleased with the deals I get at Costco). But for the second time this year, the Tire Center has been a disappointment. First, I made an appointment to get the tires (that I purchased from Costco) rotated and balanced. That simple operation took almost 2 hours. Today, I had an appointment to get 4 new tires put on my wife's car. I inquired if they were busy and if I should call my wife to pick me up. Stuart at the counter said they were running on time and might even get be out early, and I would get a text when the work was complete. After an hour and 45 minutes, I finally walked up to the counter to find that the car had been ready for almost an hour. Gee, thanks for skipping that step of sending me a text. How hard is that to do????

Costco has a false return policy on their products. If you have to return a vacuum cleaner more than once they can refuse to return your item based on that you used it to much. But no where in their return policy does it say this.

I love Costco, which is why I trusted Costco Travel with my family's summer vacation. We bought four nights at an all-inclusive in the Dominican Republic from Costco. It was a fair deal for a nice resort. Several things went severely wrong with the trip, all of which was caused by Costco. 1) We showed up at the airport to learn the flight had been changed to a different day at a different airport (American Airlines moved the flight from LaGuardia to JFK), but we weren't notified.
So, we lost a day, and we lost $120 for the Lyft ride to and from LaGuardia. We called American Airlines, and were told Costco never provided our contact information to provide flight updates. During calls with Costco, I was told a) this was not true (they do provide contact information), and b) they never provide contact information. They provide all of our flight information, but not our phone number. The person who told me that Costco does not share contact information with the airlines said it was their responsibility to notify us of the flight change, but they failed to do so.
2) So we lost a day on our trip due to no fault of ours, but because of a weather cancellation. Costco showed neither a desire nor a sense or urgency for requesting the addition of a day to our trip from the resort. Moreover, they made zero effort to book a new returning flight a day later. I had to ask for all of these things, and they kept putting me off. They slow-rolled until I finally had someone on the phone and said I wouldn't end the call until they'd handled the matter with the resort and the return flight. That call took 80 minutes.
It was my third call that day, and I spent roughly three hours total on the phone with them that day. What one agent told me they wanted to do was to email the resort to request to add a day at the other end. They said the resort normally responds in 24 hours. This approach would have had my family in the air to the Dominican Republic without knowing when we'd return or how. That particular call came in at 4:30 as one agent I spoke with earlier said she was calling to ensure my trip had been fixed before she left for the day. I told her "No." She was dismayed. Then she went about fixing most things. That was the 80 minute call.
3) The day before we left, as the trip neared its end, I approached the concierge to learn when my ride would come to return my family to the airport. They said, "It came earlier today. Your flight leaves at 4:00." That was the original flight, which Costco changed. Costco changed the original flight back, but not their reservation for the return ride to the airport. While I'm on vacation, I spent at least two hours on calls with Costco agents arranging a return ride. The first agent I spoke with told me my ride already came, but that I wasn't there. I asked him to read the details of the account. Then he actually did, and he said the flight changed, but for some reason they hadn't changed the return ride to the airport. No kidding. So, I asked about rescheduling the ride next day, and he told me a) he'd email me the ride arrangements, and b) within two hours the concierge would be notified about details.
Two hours later, I hadn't received an email and the concierge had no clue what I was talking about. So I had to call again. That call was 25 minutes in when the agent disconnected the call. Now, at the start of each call, Costco Travel requests your phone number "in the event the call is disconnected." Well, they called back after the disconnect, but it was a "pre-agent" with no knowledge of the issue. So she put me back in the queue for a 20-minute wait. When I got an agent, I had a meltdown. The agent asked if I wanted to talk with a supervisor. I mistakenly said, "Yes." This put me back in a queue.
By the time Patrick got on the phone, this call had taken 40 minutes. First, Patrick told me that a ride had been scheduled for today. I insisted he read the notes on the account (so put back on hold). He came back and said a request to arrange the return flight was underway. Once again, I said I wouldn't get off the phone until arrangements were made and I'd received them via email. Patrick said, "Sure, I'd be happy to have you on the phone throughout the evening." He then informed me that a request for a new ride had been made, but that the dispatcher was closed for the day. They would prioritize it tomorrow. That's where I am -- at a Punta Cana resort with no ride planned to the airport. I won't be using Costco Travel again. They are disengaged and dishonest. Given Cotsco's reputation,

Costco is not paying enough attention to customer's needs. They think they are too big to fail. They need to pay attention to what the competition is doing with respect to online shopping and delivery, so the customer has options. I don't feel welcome or appreciated in their store by the salespeople on the floor. It's almost like they are giving us the privilege to shop at Costco. This is the same feeling I had about Sears, Penney's and Target. Costco CEO and staff need to pay attention before it's too late.

I have always trusted Costco, but this was the worst delivery experience I’ve ever had. My refrigerator was delivered today, and as soon as it was installed, we realized the doors would not open fully because it did not fit the space. While the delivery team was still in my home, we asked them to take it back. Instead, they suggested that we cut our cabinets and baseboards to make it fit. When we refused, they said they weren’t going back that way and left the refrigerator anyway.
To make matters worse, they took my old refrigerator, leaving my family without a working refrigerator. I then went to Costco and called Costco Logistics. Instead of fixing the problem, I was told I would have to purchase another refrigerator in full and wait for a refund on the first one. That is unacceptable. This was not my mistake—it was a delivery issue that should have been resolved the same day. I expected much better customer service from Costco. I hope someone from Corporate reviews this and makes it right.

I have been a Costco member for over twelve years, and my family holds two memberships — a Gold Star and an Executive. I'm writing about a company-wide policy change that I believe is a mistake. For years, I separated my personal and business purchases into two completely separate transactions at checkout — divider down, each order rung up and paid for on its own, exactly the way any two customers standing in line are handled. These are not one cart split across two receipts. They are genuinely separate orders, kept distinct for legitimate tax and bookkeeping reasons.
I was recently refused and told this is now company policy: one membership may not complete more than one transaction per visit. No one has been able to give me a sensible reason. The total spend is identical, the items are identical, and the only thing I'm doing is keeping my financial records in order — which the policy now punishes. This is the kind of small, top-down decision that quietly erodes the member-first reputation Costco spent decades building. After ten years of loyalty, we have already cancelled the Gold Star membership over this, and the Executive is under review. I'd urge Costco's leadership to reconsider a policy that inconveniences loyal members while accomplishing nothing of value.

Selected my frames and waited patiently for 15 minutes to place my order when another member strolls up with her cart. Five minutes later a staff person is finally free and I try to place my order. The cart lady says she is next. I explain to the staff person I had waited 15 minutes when she strolled up. He asks the cast lady if she has a question and she says no that she wants to place an order for glasses. He then tells me she was in the dept early and that "the two of you can fight it out".
I am not about to fight anyone to order some eyeglasses. I was not happy but I walked away leaving my frames on the counter. Upon exiting the store, I asked to speak with a manager and explained the situation to her. Over the last five years I have ordered probably 20-25 pairs of glasses and NEVER had a problem. Well, customer service everywhere has been circling the drain for the past five plus years. Costco has now joined the ranks. Manager explained that she wants to make it right with me, but what is she going to do...the damage is done and quite frankly, it has left a bad taste. We were not able to select the XB option, of course until the next day it magically appeared again for us. We ended up paying +$300 more than everyone else in our group because of Costco's technical error. Not fun!

Became suspicious looking at the color checked (opened the capsule) found out it looks like synthetic powder mixed and has no fragrant and test as it suppose to have earthy fragrant, and slightly bitter earthy test. Recently someone told me that Qunol brand should be good. Then I bought (01/11/2026) and start taking. After taking few days felt like the color is darker than real turmeric. So I opened the capsule what you can see in the picture below. Some Power floats in water, some stays at the bottom looks like chalk powder, test like chalk powder, and no turmeric fragrant.
Also Basmati Rice does not look real. Some looks whiter that others, and does not cooked same time. While rinsing 5-6 time does not change color. After boiled water looks slight yellow and rice looks whiter. We all wanted to eat healthy, stay healthy, and get better if the product says it helps and it is real product. We don't want to take any product which advertise it's real outside in the label, and something not real inside. My intention is to bring attention to Costco management to often check products randomly for the people you serve. If needed ask for help from FDA. Because this world has become money minded and they don't care about the people's health. They just want to make money. We all deserve to get food products as it is labeled outside the package/bottle.
Please! Please! Please! Find food products from the company who can provide as it should be. And take an action with the help of FDA to those company who provides bad/unreal food. I think it should be checked randomly needed to make sure that the Company is sending as they promised. Why? Because the rice few years was not like I have seen/experienced now. Capsule Turmeric I will never buy, because you never know what is hiding inside the capsule. I would recommend others also to buy Turmeric root which looks like ginger but yellow color, if you want to be cured from disease or get better. You can also grow in your garden for easy access.

I had a very disappointing experience with the tire department at Costco. I went in expecting the level of customer service that Costco is known for, but unfortunately that was not what I received. I brought in a tire that should have been evaluated under warranty, but the employees immediately pushed me to buy a brand-new tire instead of properly checking whether the existing one could be repaired or covered. When I mentioned that I would check with another well-known tire shop to see if the tire could be repaired, they seemed upset that I wanted a second opinion. Their only solution was for me to purchase a new tire.
Things got worse when I took my tire and wheel with me. They were reluctant to mount it back onto the wheel and told me they would only order the replacement tire if I purchased it first. Then, the next morning—before the shop had even opened—I was told that the tire was already ready to go. The most frustrating part involved an employee named Andy. He was the person who initially helped me on Sunday. When I spoke with him Monday morning, he first claimed he wasn’t even there on Sunday and didn’t know what I was talking about. After a moment, he suddenly “remembered” that he had taken care of me.
This experience felt dishonest and unprofessional. As a Costco member, I expect transparency and customer service, not pressure to buy something I may not need. I have tried contacting the regional manager after speaking with the store’s general manager, but I still have not received any response or even a simple apology for the poor service and lack of empathy toward their members. My husband and I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Costco membership services and the Costco Same-Day ordering system through Instacart, and it turned into hours of wasted time with no resolution. Initially, my husband was added as the member on a Costco membership because I did not have my ID available at the time we signed up. We later cancelled that membership. After cancelling, we contacted Costco Member Services and specifically asked about the current promotion for new members. The representative told us that my husband would qualify for the promotion if he signed up again as a new member. Based on that information from Costco, we proceeded with signing up for the membership again.
Later, when we contacted Costco to apply the promotion, we were suddenly told that we did not qualify because we are part of the same household. This directly contradicted what we had previously been told by a Costco representative. To make matters worse, we weren’t even able to use the membership for nearly a month because the Costco Same-Day ordering system and Instacart verification would not work. We spent hours on the phone with both Instacart and Costco support trying to get the membership verified so we could place an order. The system simply would not process the verification.
During this process we were transferred back and forth between Costco and Instacart multiple times, given different answers from different representatives, and promised escalations that never happened. At one point I spent over two hours on the phone in a single day trying to get the issue resolved, only to be told again that nothing could be done.
This situation has taken hours out of my workday, and as a working professional that time matters. It is extremely frustrating to spend that much time dealing with customer service when the issue was caused by conflicting information from Costco and system problems with their same-day ordering platform. What is most disappointing is that Costco is known for good customer service, but in this situation no one took ownership of the issue or tried to make it right. Instead, we were repeatedly told that we did not qualify for the promotion even though that is exactly what we were instructed to do by Costco in the first place. Overall this experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing, and it felt like no one at Costco was willing to help resolve the situation.
