    I’m not sure what happened to the store that I used to know. This is not it. I received a package with no receipt of the order, couldn’t access the order online either, so I called and spoke to someone in a foreign call center who was no help whatsoever. And, they charge for returns. I ordered 2 of the same item by mistake and they were no help at all. I’ll never order from here again. Sad because they used to be great.

    ...and Bed Bath & Beyond is back providing little no customer care with no concern for its loyal customers pre and post bankruptcy. I ordered 2 sets of the Finch Jackson Bar Stool Set. Unfortunately, I purchased them in February for a March move-in date. My move-in date got pushed back to May 11th (new construction) so the stools remained in their box until my actual move. Stools don't work. Too short. Bed Bath & Beyond's response: "since this is outside of our 30-day return timeframe, our partner warehouse will not be able to accept this return."

    It's important to note I requested an exchange or a credit. Not even a refund of the over $300.00 spent. In each instance I was met with a HARD NO! Instead, I was given the manufacturer's phone number to reach out to them about my circumstances. I did that, and they said, too bad so sad, you need to go back to the merchant. So I did and when asked for a customer service manager to consider an exception to the return/exchange policy, I was told, they don't have one.

    This is BBB's way of coming back from bankruptcy. In short, the message I received loud and clear is that they care about my money, just not about me as a customer. I have spent upwards of $1,000.00 towards my new home at BBB. Well that stops now. BBB and Overstock are no longer an option for me not because of their merchandise, because I genuinely love their merchandise and the variety of it, but because their merchandise comes without a modicum of customer service. I now have $300+ in stools that are useless because they can't think outside the box to keep a good and loyal customer. Wayfair here I come!

    I shopped at Bed Bath and Beyond every weekend and I would randomly buy things that I didn’t even go in there for but I’m not gonna do that anymore as I’m moving away from this store completely. You shut down all the physical stores, all the brick and mortar. I get it. It’s a business decision, but I can buy stuff from Amazon too. I don’t need you and that’s the truth. I was in your stores every week buying stuff that I didn’t even come in there for but I’m not gonna do that on some stupid app so I vote with my dollars and I’m saying goodbye.

    Placed order at 8:54 PM PST on May 12 and attempted to cancel immediately after. However, because it was after hours, phones were not answered. Because my order had not been "processed" online, it could not be cancelled online either. My only option was to email to inform them of my intent to cancel which I did at 9:19 PM PST on May 12. I followed up by phone the next morning and was told because I didn't cancel "within one hour" as per their policy, I could not cancel my order. Was also told there was no one I could speak to because the overseeing manager was "out of office". I was assured someone would follow up within 2-4 business days. No one did. I called back after 5 business days and the agent (Mary) basically said that 'as a favour' she would waive my return shipping once my order is received (currently approximately 6 weeks from now).

    I asked if this was typical protocol and she said usually they were able to intercept orders once an email was received but didn't this time and she wanted to split hairs in terms of when the order was placed and when my email was sent (despite having physical evidence of my email timeline). So now, I have to wait 6 weeks before I start this whole process again with no degree of confidence that BB&B will be able to complete the return if and when my package is received. I had been a long-time customer of BB&B when they had physical stores in Canada, and expected the same level of customer service on their E-Commerce platform but sadly that is not the case. I don't doubt their US platform is better but I would caution any Canadian from ordering from their site as they clearly do not have their new Canadian e-commerce platform set up properly.

    For 100% cotton, the sheet set is very warm to sleep on. Material very heavy. Not very breathable for cotton. Would not recommend if you want a sheet set that stays breathable and cool. The bad thing is they are not returnable or refundable. Be careful what you buy online.

    This is now a horrible company. They said it would arrive on a certain day. Then after checkout updated the day to a few days later. They then sent me an email saying it would be late. Then it arrived on the day they said second (the later expected date) which was too late. There was no way to cancel the order when the updated shipping date was reported. I tried to return the products about 10 times. They sent me one return label instead of two and then sent me the same one again! This company is garbage now.

    I used to order a lot on Overstock. First order with Bed Bath and Beyond and it's a disaster. It showed a get your order by date and I left a few days buffer (my Overstock order usually arrived early), but now it's coming 4 days late and will be sitting on my porch. NEVER AGAIN. Don't order there.

    Worst customer service experience ever, if I could give 0 stars I would. I order the first bed and it came wrong, 2 different colors. One part dark gray and another one cream, I paid a handyman to come to my place and assemble it, the customer service representative said UPS will come to pick it up and they went to an old address even when I told them I moved, however the second bed came to the right place, paid the handyman again and he couldn’t assemble it because the parts were not aligned, I called a second time to report an issue. The representative refused to escalate the matter and told me to wait for UPS to come for the 2 beds and it would take 7-10 days to then generate a refund, here I am without a refund, a bed, with 2 handyman bills and with a surgery sleeping on the floor, incompetent business and staff.

    The bedding I ordered was beautiful and as expected. It arrived very quickly, and the package was in good shape. I thought I ordered a bigger set and was disappointed at first but when I realized it was my own error I went back to enjoying it. A bedding set without sheets and pillowcases is weird but that's what I get for not checking!

    Recently online purchased a 30 inch vanity. Delivered to my home on time, professionally. Upon opening however, one piece was already damaged, and I became aware of the very poor quality material. Wasn’t even worth unpacking and attempting to put together. Returning it was at my expense of $100. Not impressed.

    We purchased this item with reassurance due to the multiple places on the website that it says that there is a 30-day return policy. Given the fact that every single other mattress I've ever purchased in my life allowed you to sleep at least one night on it before deciding if you wanted to return it, coupled with the fact that MULTIPLE PLACES ON THE WEBSITE SAID 30-DAY RETURN, we bought it and tried sleeping on it one night. We kept all the tags on it and kept all of the packaging material (which was minimal, considering it showed up on our porch in a tattered plastic sleeve and that's it).

    After one night of trying it out, it clearly wasn't the mattress for us, so we initiated the return process. It was only then that we found out that hidden deep in their website, Bed Bath and Beyond says they only accept unopened returns on mattresses. Now if they had been upfront about this, then no harm no foul. But I had to follow 3 different links, all of which said 30-day return policy, before I finally found the page that specified that you couldn't test it.

    So yeah, my review isn't so much about the mattress as it is about Bed Bath and Beyond. I'm sure this mattress is great for some people. And I'm sure Serta is an amazing company. But I'm equally sure that Bed Bath and Beyond is shady and is weaseling people out of their hard earned money by hiding the fine print of their return policies. I wish I could give this company a lower review than 1 star.

    No customer service for oversized items, like furniture. False delivery information provided by reps and website. They're charging me shipping for a bed that was canceled and never shipped. Rose is insisting it came all the way to Michigan, when the merchant informed BB&B that it never shipped. Very unorganized and brutal. If you make an oversized purchase you will be on your own. None of the BB&B representatives have a clue and cannot handle your concerns. They will tell you they're escalating your case and a supervisor will contact you, but no one will.

    The on-site contact email is invalid and so are some phone numbers. Basically, I had to do their work and contact the freight company and the merchant to cancel this order before it shipped because as I said Poor customer service. No one available. BB&B has not refunded my money. Even though the freight and merchants confirmed the bed was not shipped to me in Michigan. It never left California. It's been a nightmare dealing with this company. Any other company I've ever had to work with involving furniture or oversized items triumphs over BB&B. Shop somewhere else until they figure it out, least you get charged for something you never received. P.S. very rude and condescending.

    The worst customer service from Pumlid today. Let me say this is the second time order from Bed and Bath and I give no stars. First ending I ordered came the wrong color and picture not even the right color. Picture showed yellow and came orange. I fought to return and after a hour I got a return label. Today I received my order and love it and hour later I received another.

    Keep in mind I only order one product. And the honest person I am I can today and told them and spoke with customer service Pumlia and she first explains that I will be charged for the second order and I explain that I did not order the second order and I only have a receipt for one. She says I have to return or I will be charged and I don’t mind returning but I am not paying for postage or packaging. She really said I would need to figure it out or I will be charged. This company is crazy and not worth buying from. BEWARE. Don’t buy and no wonder they are closing stores. I will be post everywhere and telling my family and friends to stay away!!!

    I received items I did not like, that did not meet my expectations, and some items were duplicates, which appears to be an internal error with the company. When I called to return the items, I was told I would have to pay to return the items, even if it was their error. So, I am returning all items as they are all unsatisfactory and I will never order from this company again.

    Shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond was ok while it lasted. Beware that if you purchase a product from a sketchy market place like the one who supplied this nightstand, they will not help you. This nightstand was awful. It is not able to be assembled. The company wants me to pay for shipping and they will refund me. Not only will shipping a nightstand be costly, but I have zero confidence that they will refund me my money as they are not very responsive. They accepted all 15 of my positive reviews but denied the one negative review on their website.

    I received my kitchen set and after my son in law put it together, I was so excited, then realized they sent me black instead of brown. I contacted them about the issue and they were sorry about the situation. They offered me a choice of returning the item or a cash refund. I opted for the cash refund or at least a part of it. This is their email. "Thank you for contacting Bed Bath & Beyond regarding Dining Table Set for 4, Kitchen Table and Chairs for 4 Option: Brown. I am happy to assist you today. We deeply apologize that we sent you an incorrect item. Can you kindly confirm if you would like to return the item for a replacement or a cash refund. We look forward to your response."

    Now if you read it like I did, the choice is return or cash refund. No? After a lot of back and forth they called me today and offered me 21$ to keep the set. It’s like you’re joking right?! She said that was the best she could do, I of course disagreed. She then said, "The highest I can go is 30$" and again I refused. She finally went to 50$ and would not go higher. I told her that, "It’s not my fault your email wasn’t worded properly and by the way your email is a contract. I could get my lawyer into this but I don’t think I want to waste my time for a kitchen set worth 330.$" All I know is be careful with this company because if you get the wrong colour how in the world do you want a women to lift it to send it back. Never again will I order from them. Their company policy doesn’t serve the clients.

    Bed Bath & Beyond sent my order to the wrong address, but billed me for it. When I called to resolve they refused to issue me a credit or even send replacement merchandise to the correct address. The rep asked if I could go get the merchandise at the address they sent it to. Sorry, no. I live in Florida, you sent it to Virginia. Tried to address it with PayPal and they are just as bad. Do not shop here and don't use PayPal. They won't help you.

    Prior to my order, I saw the shipping days as 3 - 5 days, which was what drew me to purchase from them in the first place. Now imagine my surprise when they told me that's just an estimate and it's not a guarantee!!! My order ended up getting delivered after almost one month. Oh, and the boxes were delivered at different times (long days apart). When the boxes were finally complete and we decided to unbox, we found missing parts. As it is, we might need to wait another couple of days (or weeks even) before the parts are delivered cause they sent a flimsy email stating that they will try to get the parts to us only if they have them in their warehouse. If they didn't have it, ''they will consider alternative options''. Overall, it's been an incredibly unpleasant experience. I had seen the terrible reviews before purchase, but I saw that they were from people in the USA so I thought well, since I'm in Canada, maybe things will be different. Jokes on me. :c

    Customer service was horrendous. I rarely have bad things to say about products, even when they're defective. But our issues were excessive and the customer service representative didn't even take the time to acknowledge anything in my email (I also tried calling, but the call would get disconnected before I got through to a person). My husband and I received a sofa as a wedding gift. The sofa (Reversible Pull out Sleeper Sectional, Corner Sofa-bed with Storage Chaise - Green) was purchased on August 23, 2023, and we received it sometime around the first week of September 2023. We have had issues with the sofa from the moment it arrived; however, as it was a gift, my husband and I decided to stick it out. Now, we are kicking ourselves for not speaking up immediately as the issues got progressively worse over the months. Our issues are as follows:

    1) Sofa is missing drilled holes in a few locations = could not attach all the provided legs.
    2) Some of the stitching was pulled/burst before we opened the packaging to assemble it.
    3) Unable to use the sleeper: once we pull out the sleeper, there are no supporting legs/hooks/etc. to hold the sleeper up/level with the sofa = sleeper slopes to the ground.
    4) Missing/inadequate support along the length of the sofa (where you most of your body weight is distributed while seated).

    5) The padding is inadequate: you can feel all the contours of the wooden arm rest and we are starting to feel the wood from the structure itself.

    After a little over 5 months of having this sofa, and one of the legs suddenly buckled. As there was only 1 spot where a leg could be attached in that area (due to the lack of drilled holes), the sofa has no support on one end. We knew that we were well over 30 day return policy, but I sent customer service and email for supporting in fixing it or replacing it entirely. Their response was very generic and disregarded everything in my email except the delivery date and return policy: Their response simply stated that our item was received more than 30 days so we cannot return it. Have you ever had such ineffectual support?

    Do not. I repeat do not buy from BB&B. I tried to buy my husband a lifetime shed. Received a text message from the delivery company when it was coming. I made sure we were available that day for the product to never come. So I got in touch with the delivery company and they said when they were picking up the product to be delivered it wasn’t there. So we called BB&B, she told us they were going to see what happened. Give them a week. We did and they never got back in touch with us.

    Gave them another week. Nothing, called back, ask for a refund. She basically said, "I can’t give you a refund because we’re still investigating." We told her that’s not our problem. We never got the product, that’s between them and wherever the product was coming from. She said, "I can’t help you. They have to do an investigation." The only way to get my money back I had to call my credit card and tell them my situation. They did their investigation in a week. I got my money back. Couple of days later BB&B wanted to ship out a replacement. No thank you.

    I was quite shocked and upset when Bed Bath & Beyond shipped an items to me that I had not ordered! They charged my PayPal account somehow. I immediately submitted Returns for each item, and received an email response: "Thank you for contacting our Marketplace Seller. We've created case #** to track your inquiry. You will be contacted with information about your request within one business day." There was no contact. Items are being delivered and when I go into the Bed, Bath & Beyond website, my Accounts page shows no trace of the order. Even the shipping links are wiped from my account. Now, I must take the complaint to PayPal. So frustrating!

    I recently posted a review that was negative due to a rug shedding and the return process being cumbersome. I ended up keeping the rug and realized the shedding was extremely minimal and the rug is beautiful. I wish I could take that post back because it was not accurate.     I bought a patio set from Bed Bath and Beyond and as I went to put it together I noticed there were not enough screws to finish the set. I contacted customer service with my problem and got no response. So I tried again and this time I got asked all the questions I had already answered the first time I tried to contact them. But I sent them all the answers they needed. Once again I was ignored.

    A month went by when I tried to contact them again and no response. Finally I had enough and sent them a nasty email, to this I got a response of why would I send that, there was no reason, that all I needed to do was to ask for what was missing and answer all the same questions again and they would be happy to help. I told him to stick it up his *** because he obviously didn't even look at the whole email which had all his questions answered. So I will never buy from them again and good luck to all you other suckers that need help, you won't get it. All they want is your money and offer no customer service.

    This whole company is a fraud and needs to be investigated. I have attempted to place numerous orders for the same towels using my 75 dollars in rewards from the original Bed Bath and Beyond. Each time it's canceled. I spoke to a dumb supervisor and was told this is because the system flagged my order. Long story short this jerk refused to override or correct the error. He told me it's not my right to use my reward bucks and I need to find another store to shop at.

    I ordered two patio chairs from Bed Bath and Beyond for $362. A bit later I was welcomed to overstock which merged with BBandB. There you found the same chairs for $207. I spent the next week trying to reach someone about the situation. It’s not complicated than you want to know. The end result is I have four chairs, no price adjustment from Bed and I have to pay $66 to return the extra chairs. The service person I spoke to was absolutely tied to her computer guidance and told me a supervisor would say the same thing. Beware if doing business with Bed Bath and Beyond. Overstock seems cheaper but service is no better.

    They make you pay for shipping when you buy. When the wrong item is sent they make you pay $65 to return the items worth $75.00 and do not do free returns or shipping. It's costs more to return the wrong item sent than your original purchase. And with no physical stores open, you can't walk in and return. I will never shop here again.

    I have not receive my order of an item over $100. It’s suddenly delayed at UPS. I called customer service after failed text attempts that are set up to only run you around. The customer service person said on her end it’s showing it’s ready for pick up. "Ma’am it says delayed on my end so how is that possible?" She states. "Yes it’s ready for pick up. I can call the store to make sure." "Ma’am at at the UPS store and it says exactly what mine says DELAYED"… She proceeds to hang up. The dumbest thing the new owners did was close all their stores. Your customer service reps are liars and your text service is trash. After I get my order I will NEVER purchase online with this company again. This was my favorite store… Not anymore. I get the UPS but I can’t get with the lack of integrity and trashy customer service. If I could rate you zero I would. If I don’t get my order this coming week. I’m cancelling and I’m done!

    I had the worst experience with a recent purchase. I bought a mirror last Sunday, but the order was cancelled without explanation. When I asked for clarification, the customer service team was unhelpful and unclear. They said they didn't know what was going on and that the team who could explain was unavailable.     I will NEVER buy from this company again. I bought a ceiling fan for $160.00 in February 2024, but the electrician couldn’t get here until April 2, 24. After installing the fan the electrician informed me that the fan is a manufactured defective product and doesn’t work. I immediately emailed the company but got no response. I called this morning to customer service for a replacement or refund but was told that the time window for replacement or refund had passed and there is nothing that they will do because of their policy. I’m out of $160.00 with a ceiling fan that doesn’t work

    The most awful so called customer service ever. Purchased 6 outdoor patio cushions, a purchase of $800.00. Upon arrival, they were not as pictured on site. I returned items within the designated return time. The tracking numbers confirm all packages arrived back to BB&B four weeks ago. BBB has only credited me for three items minus $42 for a restocking fee. The other three items have not been credited. I’ve called numerous times. I have requested numerous times to speak with a manager but am never connected with one. I’m told over and over the other three items did arrive and will be credited (minus another $42 restocking fee) and I will receive an email stating as such. I have not received either. BB&B has made $442 off of me and I have nothing in return other than major loss and frustration.

    Ordered an air fryer. They said it was delivered and it was but to the wrong address because they put the wrong address on it and the post office said they can't do anything about it because they delivered it to the address that was on it.     I order a Queen Cabinet Murphy Bed on March 7th (5 to 7 weeks to deliver). Today, 4/24, I received an email from my credit card company about a credit from BB&B. When I looked, my order was canceled. WITHOUT NOTICE, the week I was supposed to receive it!!!. I called customer service, and they said it was a warehouse issue. They even said I could reorder, but it would take 5 to 7 more weeks.

    This is one of the worst customer service departments I've ever encountered. Every single step of my transaction with them has been an absolute disaster. I have been chasing them down about a missing item for weeks. They have promised a refund twice and it doesn't get posted to my account. The amount of time and energy I have to invest to resolve their incompetencies is outrageous. The quality of their items is bad, their communication is bad, their customer service is abhorrent. I will never, EVER shop with Bed Bath & Beyond again and caution others not to either.

    Terrible. I purchased a faucet from them - under the brand Clihome. Being a kitchen reno, it took more than 30 days to organize, install counters, faucet etc. So, I was just outside of the return window. Fine. I called at least to find out steps after discovering the side sprayer on my faucet has a faulty quick connect. The woman was short, unfriendly, unhelpful and tried to rush me off the phone. Now I am left trying to find out warranty contact info, as the info Bed Bath and Beyond gave me lead me down to an empty road. Trying to communicate with a factory in China has its challenges, but they are at least friendlier than the customer service at BB&B.

    I ordered through Bed, Bath and Beyond. On the weekend, if you happen to change your mind about your order, beware that it's difficult to process a CANCELLATION or REFUND. There is NO cancellation button available or return button. All the customer service lines are closed on weekends. There will be no one available to talk to to process your order. Your only hope is to find the AI "Chat Box" that randomly pops up as you're frantically searching for a way to cancel. You have to watch for the chat box as it will somehow pop up in the bottom right corner of your screen. It just shows up all of a sudden. There is no button to start a chat. You have to hope it appears.

    By the time you've sent an email, it will be too late as your order goes through. When I spoke to their customer service the following business day, they stated that you have within an hour to cancel an order. But when I explained to them that there was NO cancel button available and no customer service lines in the weekends, they had nothing to say. I asked to be escalated to a supervisor and they couldn't because they were all "on call". I will not order from this website or Overstock again. Obviously, from other reviews it's a nightmare to return for refunds.

    I tried activating a cancellation while my order was being "process for shipping". I will have to pay shipping for return a rug. In this day and age, you would think they would have at least a cancel button available or a chat button to activate a return easily. I shouldn't have to pay for shipping if they do not provide a cancellation button or forewarn you when shopping on a weekend, there is no way to process a return until the next business day. Even all emails will be answered the next business day. Why should I pay to ship an item back when there is no cancellation button or chat button readily available or no one to talk to?

    This has to be the worst experience I've had with Bed Bath and Beyond. I ordered a comforter on April 4th. The delivery date was on April 10. On April 16th they had to replace my order because a label was never created. I was told it would be shipped in 1-2 days. It’s now the 21st of April and still no label created to ship my replacement order. I was told if it’s not shipped by Monday or Tuesday I can ask for a refund or get a 3rd replacement. This is completely ridiculous. Do better people!

    THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! Never again. I made a purchase on 04/13 and tried to cancel it a few hours later only to find that you only have 1 hour in which you can do so. I called them at 9 am the next day and l got absolutely nowhere. The items had not even been processed yet but I was told there is nothing they could do but send an email to the warehouse and wait 2 days to see the results. Well, absolutely nothing happened and the items were shipped anyway. Of the 4 people (3 via phone calls and 1 via email) - 2 did absolutely nothing but spout policy at me, the 3rd made assurances that was never followed through on and well I am still waiting for a follow up email. I had to call, yet again this morning. Buyers beware - you only have 1 hour to change your mind. I will never purchase from this store again.

    Ordered an item, said it was delivered in another state, not even CLOSE to my address. Going round and round on the phone trying to get an answer. The Customer Care number 1-800-843-2446 is NOT for them, but is the AMA's old number and you get a recording telling you so. The Chat Bot on the page that is supposed to help you, only responds "I acknowledge" and tells you nothing more. Now I know why they are going bankrupt and should NOT be trusted.     I recently purchased a mini elliptical. Actually bought thru Walmart and it was one of those marketplace things. I’ve never had such a bad experience trying to get a refund for a defective item.     Purchased a leather chair from Bed Bath & Beyond (now Overstock). And requested a a Beige color. 1st order was sent damaged and also they sent me the wrong color. Requested a return/replacement due to reasons above. Replacement arrived and the same wrong color arrived. Explained the situation and requested a refund. CS REP. told me that I was entitled to a full refund since the error was on their side. Paid $970.00. Company refunded me $500.00. Called various time for an explanation and they told me they made a mistake and were gonna send me the remaining missing funds. NO. They only send me a portion. They still owe me money. Will never purchase from this merchant again. They are not honest and a very bad company to do business with. First time in my life that a company lied and stole my money.

    Friday I ordered a sink from Bed Bath and Beyond. After a couple hours I had to cancel it because it was too big for the vanity. When I called, they said it was too late, the order had been sent to the warehouse. I said, "Well call and tell them to stop shipment." "I’ll try but if you receive it, call us back and we will send a return label." Return shipping at my expense! Monday I get an email telling me my package had shipped!     So I ordered a chair and some rugs from Bed Bath & Beyond. The rugs were garbage. Wanted to return them. What they charge for the return label is nearly half the price of what you buy during my call. I also had a chair that was coming that I wanted to cancel that because where I moved to I knew I wouldn’t have enough room for it so it’s been 10 days now. The chair arrives today. The woman I spoke to said, "Oh we can’t call over and cancel anything. We can just send an email." What do you mean you can’t call. Pick up the phone and call. You have to have a warehouse number distribution center. That’s ridiculous.

    So the chair came today. UPS took it right back with my printed label that was over $50. Do not buy anything from this company. They do not stand behind their product and what they charge you to return it is probably not even legal, I bought a whole bunch of things from Wayfair and I’ve been very satisfied with my purchases. Sorry, Bed Bath & Beyond. You're garbage on my list.

    I wish there was a zero star option. I was issued a $209.99 Merchandise Credit for a defective purchase that was returned to the store (before they closed down the physical locations). Now I try to use the Merchandise Credit and it's "invalid" because the cards all expired in May of 2023. THEFT. They suck. Overstocked is a corporate pig to behave like this. When people spend real money, they need to honor that. It's a cost of doing business when you acquire another business. I will be boycotting both. As I said THEY SUCK. Dishonest corporate citizens. Makes you know they do other shady things like underpay their staff and cheat on their accounting. Losers who SUCK SUCK SUCK.

    We bought a rug and pad. We tried to cancel the order because it went to our old address and we didn't want it. They won't cancel orders unless you do it absolutely right away. Then they charged us for shipping the rug back, after they couldn't cancel the order. This was our second, and last, we have had severe order issues with them. Don't buy from them or Overstock as they are affiliated. Save yourself from the grief.

    I bought a rug from this company months ago. First, it took over a month to get here, and I received the wrong color. I started an exchange, and they sent me out the right color. It never got delivered. I saw on the site, it had been returned to the company. I wrote to them, and told them I'd just keep the original and was told I would not be charged for the replacement. I ended up being charged, wrote them with all attached emails regarding it. I was told I'd have to pay for the replacement, totally not looking at the emails saying it was returned via UPS (not delivered). Several attempts to contact them, and no replies.     I ordered a BoHo quilt set on March 16, 2024 and have not received the order. The account states "processing". After I stated I wanted to cancel the order they informed me that they would contact the warehouse to see if it could be cancelled. A consumer should be able to cancel an order at any time and for any reason. They have charged my credit card. Warning to other consumers.     Ordered many items, to include 3 duvet sets. First set, 2 sheets sewn together, that's it. No opening to insert blankets. 2 sheets sewn together. Plus bed, bath and rip off does not list all of your orders. So that they can refund your money, replace the damaged items. They're shady. I dread opening the 2 other duvet sets. Dreading it.     I'll never shop at BB&B ever again. We ordered a lamp two weeks ago, it's been delayed in shipping, then they said they shipped it early/ahead of the estimated date. That didn't happen, when I called it was out for delivery with the shipper (UPS). I said the tracking was still not shipped yet, but just received by UPS. The service rep said there's nothing they can do, that it's with the shipper now and there's nothing they can do about that. I was then asked if there was anything else I needed. NO "we'll contact the shipper to find out what the delay is", nothing. The order is still sitting at UPS somewhere and is now expected to be here this coming week. Not buy that nor anything else from this horrible company. Used to be good but their services have hit rock bottom!! I'd give this 1/2 a star if they let me.

    Bed Bath & Beyond provides poor service. This company probably went out of business due to this. This company does not hire the best. They have very poor customer service and the dumbest SOP. Placed an order and as soon as I realized my mistake, tried to cancel. Their system was having difficulty so 16 hours later I was told I could not cancel due to merchandise had already been shipped on a holiday.

    Merchandise came 10 days later. Paid $36 to return the cheap junk. Seller returned money but they decided to hold it because thinking my bank would issue the credit. Paid with a prepaid card and these not so bright folks did not know the bank does not issue a credit. It is not their money. I believe they wanted to try and steal the money. There was no other reason to not issue refund. These folks are sorry and no one should patronize this faulty business. Amazon is the leader and the reason is customer service. BBB lacks training skill and business integrity. It should not take 60 days for a simple mistake. Business probably is bankrupt. Don't waste your time & money for nothing.

    I am beyond frustrated. I ordered a vanity. It came in with the marble top cracked and Moore Bed Bath & Beyond are dragging their feet, resolving the issue and it's unacceptable. I have contractors here that do not have a vanity to install. So sorry I started with Bed Bath & Beyond. Do they not see they get a one here which I'm sure is generous. Wake up Bed Bath & Beyond.     I spent a couple weeks shopping for a new bedroom set for my new home and finally settled on the Coaster Antique White 5 piece bedroom set from Bed Bath and Beyond. After getting my room together and going to bed that night, my husband and I were woken up to the bedframe breaking in the middle of the night. It was terrifying, yet surprisingly funny if you don't take in to account the couple thousand dollars we had just spent.

    Anyway, I contacted Bed, Bath and Beyond-they asked me for pictures, I emailed them pictures. I have called them multiple times and heard nothing back. Now I can't get ahold of anyone at all. It's ridiculous. I finally went online and did a product review of the furniture including photos and they actually gave me reward points for the review acknowledging they saw it but won't post it! I wouldn't either if I was them but frankly people should be warned about what they are buying and the customer service follow up. Anyway, I have managed to repair my brand new bed and will never shop there again.

    BUYER BEWARE. UNETHICAL COMPANY!!!! So my husband and I received a Bed Bath & Beyond gift card less than a year ago. I tried to use it online today and it wouldn’t go through so I contacted Bed Bath & Beyond. They proceeded to inform me, after I gave them the card number and pin that it is “Not a valid gift card, the PIN number is too long”. So I asked them how we could make it right and come to a solution which is when I was simply informed that they couldn’t do anything for us, that we simply lost all of that money. I understand your company was bought but another company and the companies merged but I have worked retail my whole life and when that happens, as long as the card number and pin are accurate for 1 of the 2 companies involved, you honor that gift card.     I always bought from BBB and Overstock with great success and left them great reviews. However, since they merged it has been a nightmare. I wish I had read the other reviews, but I never had problems before. I bought a chair for over 700.00, said free shipping returns, lie, they give you free shipping by putting the shipping cost as a credit on your a/c. That is not free shipping. No. l scam. I am not disputing that charge, that was my stupidity for not going five pages in to check out their small print. Then I got 34.40 in rewards from that purchase alerting me via email, which by the way I am still getting those emails to use the reward. I thought ok, I will see what I need to use them. Found three items. Also had a 17% off entire order offer. I applied that said one item would not apply. OK no problem with that, went to check out, could not apply the 34.40. Called an agent, said she saw it on her end but it would not show on my end.

    I told her I really wanted them, she said she would check with her super and get back to me, never did and next morning I had 152.56 applied to my credit card. Now I am fighting to get that taken off my card and for them to pick up the two items I got. Big SCAMMERS AS MY DAUGHTER TOLD ME, "OH GEEZ THEY SCAMMED ME TOO AND A FRIEND OF MINE." They will not allow me close the a/c without filling out forms which they never emailed me. BEWARE!!!

    We have had the worst experience with Bed Bath & Beyond over the course of the last month. Our items were promised to be delivered by a certain date but when that day arrived the items were still in China. Nothing had shipped so we tried to cancel the order but after cancellation the order shipped. Four out of six boxes arrived at our house, And we received a nasty email telling us that we were responsible for payment of the gazebo despite the fact that we canceled it, stopped it and transit and didn't receive half of the order. This is the third day in a row we've been on the phone all day with Overstock/bedbath&beyond and I can testify this place is an absolute nightmare.

    The best thing to do is to short sell the stock because with customer service as bad as what they are offering, which includes numerous promises by supervisors to return phone calls, emails, issue store credits.. None of which has come to fruition.. This company is destined to fail. Do yourself a favor and short sell. I highly recommend Never shopping at overstock.com or at bed bath & beyond because this is the absolute worst experience we have ever had with a retailer, and that's saying a lot considering that most customer service has gone downhill post COVID. You're absolutely the worst company to deal with. I look forward to seeing you fail (again).

While I was shopping on the site, I saw a pop up advertisement saying if I downloaded their app, I would receive 20% off my entire purchase, no writing about any exclusions etc. The items I selected was on sale and when I went to check out I expected to get 20% off my purchase but that did not happen. after speaking to customer service twice they refused to honor their advertising. I am very dissatisfied in this company and I will probably not make another purchase in my lifetime, something so simple could easily be resolved. They are a million dollar company hassling me over a few dollars. Obviously, customers are not their top priority! I may even send my purchase back simply because they offered something and did not honor it, that makes me sick to my stomach!

    I paid for a new product and received one used and in very bad condition. It was dirty, scratched with signs of dried water and the plastic hose that connects to the pump was dirty inside.     We ordered a bedroom set for $1600. Received the confirmation of purchase and everything was approved. A few days later we received a notice that the order was cancelled. When we contacted them the customer service rep told us they canceled the order because the address for the credit card was wrong, we confirmed the address on file and the address they had was the same address for the same credit card we had used days before and days after successfully.

    When we told them, "We never canceled the order. Please place the order," they refused to honor the price we initially were provided for the invoice. They said they could reprocess the order but at over $500 more than what we purchased the set and what was advertised when we purchased. They refused to honor the price even though we never cancelled the order to begin with. I would never purchase from them. Their sales are a scam. I will also be posted a complaint with the BBB.

    Wrong rug delivered. No resemblance to the one I ordered. Difficulty returning. Unable to understand customer service representative. Unsure if they understood me. Tried to email to email address provided multiple times and was returned "UNDELIVERABLE". Have to wait around all day for UPS to pick up wrong rug. The rug I ordered has not been delivered.     I have to be the biggest idiot to buy anything other than bath accessories and towels from this place. I purchased a gazebo that was my 1st mistake, came damaged and instead of shipping me a couple of parts they want me to ship all of it back. In the destroyed box that they came in out to me.     Unbelievable... I spent an hour on the phone with the representative who was trying to convince me that it was my fault for not tracking shipping address that Bed Bath and Beyond got wrong. I ordered through PayPal and they got address wrong. I am not sure how. My billing and shipping address is to PA. They sent it to MS. There's no one in MS that I know. They suggested me to go there to retrieve it myself.

    I ordered an area rug and realized I had ordered the wrong size. I canceled the order the next day, received an email confirmation indicating they received my cancelation but they shipped the item the next day. I have contacted customer service several times and have been given different information each time. They even told me I'd be responsible for return shipping fees of almost $60!     PLEASE MAKE SURE IF YOU ORDER A LARGE ITEM FROM THEIR WEBSITE YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU ARE KEEPING IT!! I ordered a manual recliner online from Bed Bath & Beyond sight unseen of course. The day after it was delivered, I submitted a return request through the website because I wasn't impressed with the product. I heard nothing back from customer service. This is a large item which was truck delivered and has to be picked up to return. I called customer service, which is located in India, three times and three times I was told I would get an email regarding scheduling pick up. Three times I received no such email.

    I was basically forced to keep the recliner and sell it off at a loss. Since there are no physical stores open anymore, they know there is no recourse for the customer. It's not like I could have loaded it up and taken it back to the store. There is absolutely no other option, but to keep it. Never again!! I am posting this review to warn others, DO NOT order a large item unless you are positive you are going to keep it. I imagine even if it arrives broken, you'd still get the same response from customer service. They KNOW there is nothing you can do about it.

    If I could give this company no stars I would! I have called customer service at least 15 times in the last month and haven't got anywhere.     After item came damaged and they issued a replacement. I had to wait for the new item to put the old one in its box as the UPS man refused to take the old one without a box. So I had to open the box carefully to use it again and to box the whole old buffet again while the replacement came also damaged!! The customer service wanted me to return the new item also which is so heavy!!! And now will have to buy a box for it and box it all over again for the UPS guy, or they issue me a $9 store credit!!!! A $500+ item I had to unbox twice and box again one of them for a $9 credit!!!! Didn’t mention that I also bought mirrors, side tables that had also came damaged!!!

    I've been trying for over a year to get over $500 back from bed Bath and beyond when they shut their doors. I've been told many times but only to be run in circles about how I could possibly get this money back. I'm sure I'm not the only person they left in a horrible lurch. This will ensure that I will never shop at bed Bath and beyond and make sure that everybody I know knows what a horrible practice this was.     I bought this gas burner as a birthday gift for my husband. 1st hurdle was that delivery was delayed, no updates. Received the box, finally.     Ordered expensive bath rugs and the picture of what I thought I was ordering, was nothing like what I received. Falsely advertised.... not plush, no rubber backing to keep rugs from moving on the floor and not the thickness as advertised. Talked multiple times to try to return was told it was buyer's remorse. To get a refund was going to be up to them as to when they received the rugs back if they felt I was correct for returning or if they would deduct from what I paid.     BBQ arrived damaged, knowing metal it was clear that it had happened long before shipping it to me. They won’t supply new parts and I have to return it to get my Monet back.     I actually meant to leave 0 stars but a star is required. :( On January 1st I ordered this bed from the website. It arrived about after a week and on the 15th I took it out of the box. The headboard was cracked. I called on the 16th for a replacement and they told me that they’d call me back. I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. When I called back they said the item was not in stock so I asked for a return and again they said that they’d call me back. AGAIN THEY NEVER DID. Since then I’ve been calling them over and over again, my mother and my father have as well, to get this item picked up and my money back and they’ve been giving me the run around for a WHOLE MONTH.

    Last week my mother called and they told her that a pick up would be scheduled for TODAY and we called again today and they told us that a pickup was not scheduled! We’re STILL ON THE PHONE WITH THEM RIGHT NOW. It’s been a month, we’re exhausted and so regretful that we ordered from these people! Please order from another website, I’m literally in tears!

    DO NOT BUY FROM BED BATH AND BEYOND! THEY WILL SEND YOU THE WRONG ITEM AND CHARGE YOU $500 TO RETURN IT. I bought a double vanity on their app in November 2023. It was supposed to arrive within two weeks. I received no email receipt, only a tracking number that hit a 404 page not found error. Two weeks later, still no receipt, still not functional tracking number, and no news from Bed Bath & Beyond. Four weeks after I ordered, they finally called me to ask when was a good time to deliver the vanity. On receipt, I discovered that they had sent me the wrong item – a single vanity in place of a double vanity.

    When I called them to find a resolution, they denied that they had made a mistake – surprisingly enough, the next day the email receipt (which I had never received) appeared in my inbox, displaying the same single vanity they claim I had ordered. So despite a clear recognition that their online systems had messed up (between the missing email receipt that appeared two months later, the lack of a tracking number and the delayed delivery) they are unwilling to accept responsibility for delivering the wrong item. Their website says they have a 30-day return window, but what they don’t tell you is that the return shipping could be over $500! Do not shop here. It is not worth the pain.

    I ordered a shower door based on my contractor's recommendation. After we received it, he determined that it was too big. I requested a return from Bed Bath and Beyond through their website. Received a message that I would receive an update in 4-5 days. Didn’t hear anything so I reached out again on two different occasions via text message (because no one will answer the customer service phone line) and was advised that they are still working on it and it will take 1-3 days for an update.     Because of Bed Bath and Beyond's order clerk, I have to be charged 250 dollars to return items. I specified to the BBB employee that I had a bad back and I would not be able to carry a king-size bed on my back up 3 (three) flights of stairs. I asked more than 3 times to have my bed delivered to my address and have workers put together the bed. I also ordered a desk which is also very heavy. I had to cancel that because UPS will not carry up my desk three flights of stairs. I have been defrauded. I hope Bed Bath and Beyond does not do this to other customers. It is a swindle to get extra money from customers who are disabled. All the order clerk had to say was, "Bed, Bath and Beyond does not deliver items inside the apartments and put beds together for customers." Since I am disabled, I have to now be charged almost 300 dollars for return shipment.

The tracking stopped on Jan. 10th and the items have not been seen since. How can Fedex "lose" 2 large boxes?     I’m so disappointed. I ordered a vanity on Dec 15 with a promised delivery date of Dec 22. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift. When I realize it wouldn’t be here by Christmas I tried cancelling and they told me it wasn’t possible. One rep told me the vanity was sold out when I purchased, so I ask if it’s sold out why can’t I cancel the order. She said, "Because we don’t know for sure if your order didn’t ship."     TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I purchased an item from them over 2 months ago. (Today is January 12, 2024.) Purchase made in November. Upon receipt of the item, I decided to return the item. I went to BB&B's website to do the return and found out -- SURPRISE -- my purchase was through a third-party vendor. This means BB&B did not sell me the item but some company that BB&B allows on the website sold to me. BB&B put me in touch with the vendor. I sent the vendor an email. They sent me a return shipping label. I promptly and timely shipped the item back (the same day I received the label). The item was received at BB&B's warehouse. I waited for my refund which never showed up.

    I called and emailed the third-party vendor MANY MULTIPLE TIMES and they ignored me. So I contacted BB&B and they gave me the runaround for weeks. At one point, a regular employee over there PRETENDED TO BE A SUPERVISOR to handle my case. She lied to me over and over again. She promised to call me back in 2 days and never called back. I called again and I got a REAL SUPERVISOR who looked into the matter and he discovered that an employee over there took my call pretending to be a supervisor, which is how I found out.

    BED BATH & BEYOND LITERALLY REFUSES TO PUSH A BUTTON TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. Instead, they have been holding me hostage for over 6 weeks trying to figure out what to do with a third-party vendor who DISAPPEARED all the while they have in their own warehouse the item that I returned. The supervisor told me, "I see that you returned the item and it is in our warehouse." To which I said, "Well, since you have it in your possession, give me my money back." Supervisor said, "I can't do that. We have to follow protocol." BUYERS BEWARE!

    I ordered 3 items totaling about $150, never received the items and was told at various times that the items were delivered to wrong address, that the items were delivered to wrong address (my fault, so nothing they could do), or that they were delivered to the correct address (no proof). I thought Bed Bath & Beyond would have customer service similar to other sites, like Amazon, Chewy.com and Michaels. Big mistake.     My daughter received a gift card for Bed Bath and Beyond for Valentines day this year, 2023. When we went to spend it they would not honor it anymore. They said to go online and use it. So when we went online, they said it was no good anymore, they wouldn't honor it. I got that GC for her so she could choose something cute to decorate her room. Now, I am out the money and she is out the gift. Ironically, on their site it says "Do Bed Bath & Beyond gift cards expire? ANSWER: Bed Bath & Beyond gift cards never expire!"     Summer time I donated our outdoor Christmas decorations, so in November I ordered a few new decorations through Amazon and Bed Bath & Beyond. I had no problems with my amazon orders. But I still have not received my complete order from BBB. Their customer service is the most painful process ever to get a live agent and it is all by text.     I ordered last week of November. Stated delivery date by Dec 5th. It's bow Dec 16, and zero shipping progress since it's been in Buffalo NY hub since Nov 18. This was an outside Christmas display. I waited for 2 hrs to talk to someone. They told me there are delays. I explained they haven't even processed it and gave me a Lamdmark tracking number that is not showing anything. Like it's a useless number. They said they sent an email to rush even though it stated that from beginning. Since this it's gone on sale. They tried to tell me it's American sale while I'm clearly seeing it on Canadian .ca website. They raised the item price by $48 and then marked as sale with lower price. It's a week before Christmas and absolutely zero update and zero information.

    They told me anyone who orders anytime in December won't get anything until mid-January. How can they get away with this? People look at delivery date before finishing order. They gave me a credit back so they say for 40 since it may come after Christmas but hey I got a deal. Meanwhile, my lawn Christmas display is nonexistent and they have my money. Best part... is that they said they won't charge me to return it if and when it does show up. All others will have to pay a return fee even if it comes weeks or months later. I will never order from them again. I could have ordered this from a more reputable and quicker company like Amazon. I trusted this company. I keep checking every day. It's now Dec 16 and shows zero update or info.

    I never leave bad reviews but after having the worst experience with this company I had to make an account and write on here. If they tell you your item will be here within 7 business days be prepared to wait 3 weeks. Because they lie about items being shipped out. They will soon go out of business just like their physical stores.

    I ordered a tv stand with fireplace during Black Friday sales. Was never advised item was out of stock and would not be restocked. When I finally got through to customer service, was told to choose another item and they would give me additional credit. Then when I advised them of the item I wanted as a replacement they charged me again and the agent was not able to give me the credit but a supervisor would call me back. I received no callback, I have to keep calling and wait forever. I am still trying to get my credit back.

    My item was then shipped to an address that I have not lived at for 14 years. This has been a total nightmare. I pride myself for being super patient and understanding. This experience has tested every fiber of patience and I have failed. I am writing this as I am on hold to try once again to get my refund back. Save yourself the aggravation and shop elsewhere. I have never written a bad review as I believe that things can go wrong, but I will not stop as this is unacceptable.

    As so many others have written here, I also experienced long delays getting my item shipped to me in Canada. My order was placed November 23rd, and the item was marked delivered (but to Buffalo NY) on December 3rd. It finally arrived December 12th, left at the door, later in the evening, with no knock, no ring of the bell. When I say late in the evening, it was some time after 9PM.

    When the item was first marked delivered to Buffalo, NY, I started sending emails. None of my emails was replied to, I never got a call, no explanation, nothing. I do have my item now, but it took 18 days to arrive after ordering from a website based in Canada. If you order from this website, everything is going to come from the US, and it is all going to live at the border for more than a week. The tracking system never tells you when it has left the US, it just says delivered to Buffalo, NY, and no further information, so it makes it seem like your package is not going to clear customs.

    The lack of transparency, the lack of communication and the lengthy delivery time all makes Amazon much more attractive. The item I bought was no less expensive, nor better quality, than I could have recieved from Amazon in 48 hours or less. I will personally never order from BB&B again as they have no actual presence in Canada and the communication standards are horrifying. Remember, I emailed 9 days before the package arrived and never got any response. Pure irony: The package arrived last night with a sticker on it that said: Want to guess? RUSH.

    I purchased a bed and mattress from this company and based on the information on the website, I thought I was ordering from Canada. I purchased these items because I needed them within 2 weeks of ordering, and the stated delivery date was within that time-frame. It turns out that the items ship from the US (I live in Canada), and the “delivery date” stated on my order is for arrival at a place in NY as part of the journey to get to me. Based on the tracking information I received, the bed I ordered is in NY now with a prolonged status of “delayed”. I regret I didn’t see these reviews prior to ordering my items. It’s unfortunate the delivery time-frame wasn’t more clear in that the “delivery date” was not in reference to delivery to me. I can’t say whether that’s a deliberate marketing ploy or not; but sure seems suspicious. I can’t comment on the quality or accuracy of the items….because I don’t have them.

    Ordered over $500 in new bedroom items - comfort set x2, sheets x2 and a carpet. Order was supposed to arrive in and around Dec 6, with an email notifying me when the items were shipped. Email notification was not sent. I went in to check the order and the tracking, noticed a few things

    1. Items have been sent to various locations having been accepted by a “person” and/or Overstock to name a couple.
    2. Some of the items say delayed but an expected delivery of Nov 30 for example.

    3. Others have been delivered but have a US tracking number (I live in Canada).

    I just spent 3 hours (no exaggeration) for what should have been an 45 minute wait (still ridiculous) to chat with someone, but had to hang up (because, life). Went to call back and now the phone lines are down saying “our business had to close due to unforeseen circumstances.” What is going on and how do I get my money back?!?! This is an utter disgrace and is clearly affecting numerous customers due to the reviews over the past couple of days.

    WOW!!!! I should have looked this place up first before I ordered anything from them. It's was a simple order.... 3 sets of sheets.... Easy right? Only two showed up and can't get ahold of anyone from BBB or Overstock. Even their computerized help line said (quote) what a DRAG.... 3 hrs to talk to no one and then get insulted at by their computer. I feel sorry for all these other reviews that may never get either their product or their money back from these QUACKS. I'll just call my back and go with a back charge with them. Every state Attorney Generals office should be investigating these thieves for grand theft and the DOJ should be doing the same if not wire fraud. TO EVERYONE THINKING OF ORDERING FROM THESE CLOWNS.... STAY CLEAR OF THESE THIEVES.

    I ordered a couch on November, 3rd 2023. Four days later it said it would take 10-17 weeks for it to arrive! I canceled immediately! I saw another couch (similar) that could be delivered by November 16th 2023. I ordered it instead. Now they say the couch that will take 10-17 weeks is in shipping and may not be canceled? Two and half months or more to ship? Still no tracking number for it? But to make matters worse the other couch never shipped either! It is now December 4th, 2023 and the second couch has been delayed with still no tracking number! The worst is I am out over $2100.00 and still have no couch for Christmas!

    I disputed the charges thru PayPal but that seems to be a scam also. They are not supposed to bill you until they get a tracking number that it has shipped! But they did. My scare is that Bed bath & Beyond is collecting all this money and will file Bankruptcy after Christmas! Paypal is supposed to protect their customers from these kind of actions. Now I wonder what their part in all this is? Buyer BEWARE!

    I purchased a chair from here, it arrived 2 days after promised (not great but not the issue yet). A friend put the chair together for me and it is GREY but I ordered blue. I double checked the order to make sure I hadn't ordered the incorrect color. I did order blue. I went to the automated system and put in wrong color. It indicated if I received the wrong color, the return is considered a buyer's remorse return. I am supposed to pay shipping for a chair that does not match any of my furniture. I regret this purchase and do not plan on purchasing any furniture from them EVER!!! If I could give it a minus instead of a 1, I would!

    I will never buy from this site again! I’ve bought all new bedframe and bedding products recently and spent so much money. All of the items I bought were listed as something and showed up as something else. I was sent a box spring that was 4” too small and my new mattress was hanging off of it. I’ve Been calling customer service for 6 days now and begging for a refund for this item and I’ve just been constantly lied to and they refuse to send me a refund for a box spring that can’t even be used. They want me to take it apart and go buy a huge box from ups to be able to get my refund. The goose feather mattress topper I bought was all cotton and they have no quality control over that their vendors sell to the customers.

    Trust me this process has made me realize that I need to stick with Amazon because they would’ve processed my return right away and would’ve told me just to toss the item. Since when is it right to make a customer call over and over again for 6 days to get their money back for an item they can’t use. Plus I have to pay for a return shipping label for $40 on an item that costs $100! What the hell is the point of that?

    I was willing to grossly over pay for a product to get what I wanted. They never shipped it out. Then when I canceled my order they never refunded my money. There is no way to contact anyone. I am asking our attorney general to ban them from doing business in our state.

    I ordered a shed online. They delivered the wrong item so I refused the delivery. When I started a return for the item, they charged me a $300 restocking fee. Please do not order from them, they are a new company now since they were bought by Overstock and all of the policies have unfortunately changed.

    I had a $50 BB&B gift card from fall of 2021 that I had been saving for when I needed something. I tried to purchase online and the gift card said invalid number. I called their customer service and they said since they bought the company, all gift cards that were purchased before the date the company was sold are now inaccessible and there’s nothing they will do about it for the customers. I’ll never be shipping with this company again in my life. They are thieves as far as I’m concerned.

    Purchased a kitchen table and chairs. Called to tell them pieces were missing. Said they couldn’t get in touch with their supplier. They even gave me the supplier’s number. No contact could be made. They decided to order another set and told me to take out parts I needed. Then return the rest. The other set was was ordered but after a week it was cancelled. I wrote to the CEO and received an email from the executive offices. They said they would put the order in again. I had had enough. I found the same set on Amazon for $300 less.

    After that I received a small package of parts for one chair. I returned their original set. They gave me $50 in rewards to try to apologize. I decided to use it and ordered a set of sheets which were to come in 2 to 3 days. I just received an email saying the delivery is delayed. I suggest that you should not buy from them but look elsewhere. I never had an issue with Overstock. I think I could do a better job operating this company.

    I placed an order over a month ago, and I still didn’t receive it. They sent me the wrong item initially and I requested a return. Then they sent me exactly the same wrong item again. And again. And now I find myself having paid for the order over a month ago and still not having the item in my hands. This is the absolute worst shopping experience in my life. Their support is garbage, I’ve been hung up on several times for asking to speak to the manager. And after over 10 calls they still never let me talk to any supervisor. No offer of compensation, nothing.

    And today after calling and going over all this ** once again the customer service rep told me that she “highly recommends to just return the item and get a refund“. These people are cretins, all of them, from warehouse workers to customer service. They treat customers with no respect or reason. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM, THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS. They are absolutely terrible.

    I ordered a living room that costed me 2500. It said 4 weeks delivery time. Paid in full. Waited 2 weeks to receive an email saying that if the order not shipped after 30 days they will refund my money which does not make sense. Either you have it or not why would you keep waiting. You should know what you have on your stock. The customer service are so helpful trying to find out what’s going on, but it seems that they can’t. No wonder they closed many stores.

    I ordered a bed for my daughter when we purchased a new house, we found a bed she really wanted and decided to order it even though it said 5-7 weeks delivery time. Paid in full waited 7 weeks only to receive a text today saying that they will refund my money because it’s out of stock. Now they held my money for 7 weeks because they sold me an item they didn’t have and my daughter will be sleeping on the couch for the holidays because Bed, Bath and Beyond’s terrible business practices.     Ordered a bathroom vanity, 80 inch, got a 20% off coupon. It all sounded great until I realized they are just throwing out rebates but then not shipping their items, so what's the point? After a week of waiting I tried calling them. Waited 30 min before I could speak to someone. After giving them the order number and my info. They quickly hung up on me. I figured. Ok. They got nothing to say so they don’t want to waste their time talking to me. A few days later I got an email saying they MIGHT ship the vanity in 30 days, if not it will automatically be cancelled.     I submitted an order on 9/4 for a Murphy bed. After 4 weeks I called and they said it takes 4 to 6 weeks, after 6 weeks I called and they said it takes up to 9 weeks. After the 9th week, I noticed on the website the cost was less so I called for a status and asked for the sales price. They agreed to give me the sales price and said the order is at the warehouse.

    The next day I received an email stating the item is out of stock and my order was cancelled - this is after waiting 9 weeks. I called and all I got was, "I'm sorry, it is out of stock." Now in most cases, a PO is assigned to you when you place your order and it will be ready to ship in the time frame they first give you. I asked to speak to a manager and after 6 hours one called me back, saying the same thing, "Sorry it's out of stock." I could tell it was the same person I spoke to earlier. They took 9 weeks away from me, in that time I could have had the item from another company. Very POOR services. I don't recommend them!!

    I purchased a 5 piece bedroom set from this company because I will soon have my 93 year old father w/ dementia living with us. I wanted to get his room all ready. I was promised I'd have everything in 3 to 4 weeks. The only thing I received was the bed & nightstand. I didn't get the dresser or the chest. They're customer service is nonexistent since they closed most of their brick & mortar stores. Custom service also really went downhill since the bought Overstock.com You can't reach anyone when there's an issue with an order & there is no customer service email address!!! Who runs a business like that?? They charged us the full price for the 5 piece bedroom set & only gave us 2 pieces. Im calling our bank tomorrow and reporting the fraud. Never ever again will I buy from this company & I'm gonna warn family & friends as well.

    Bought a large dehumidifier, an urgent need, it took 9 days to get here and doesn't even turn on! It's very heavy, so I had to cut through the shipping box to get it out. Asked for online help, no luck, so asked for a refund, which apparently I can get if I repair the box, lug the unit to a UPS store to mail it back before receiving a refund. Guess they need to verify it doesn't work? Another long, inconvenient wait. No wonder these guys are going out of business.

    I am an interior designer and I ordered a queen bed frame for a client. They sent the wrong bed size. We complained and asked for a replacement TWO weeks ago. But can you believe customer service does not know when the bed will arrive? The tracking details still say "processing." Not only did they send the wrong bed size, but they also have yet to rectify their mistake. When you call customer service is literally useless y'all. I regret not coming to this site to read the reviews before buying furniture for my client. If the bed does not arrive by tomorrow. I will never buy from them again. NEVER! I will also get fully compensated for this mess if it's the last thing I do!

    There was a problem with my delivery. I entered both a PO Box and physical address on the site, but when they sent it, they only included the PO Box (to which UPS does not deliver!). When I realized the problem, I called BB&B and was assured that the address was corrected. I kept watching the tracking and once again it got turned around. I called the company again (#2) and was assured AGAIN that the address was corrected. I watched the tracking and saw the item on its way to me only to be turned around AGAIN. I called the company AGAIN (#3) and was told the problem was caused by ME entering a PO Box. The customer rep was clearly responding with the script that they are apparently provided because even though they are real people, they may as well be robots! I cancelled the order in total frustration and will never be ordering again.

    After placing an order through the application I found the same item listed on Amazon for $179, compared with a listing of $628.99. There is a link at the top of your orders in the application that implies a price match policy - this link is broken. The same day as making this order I reached out to Customer Service, which was in a strange phone/text interface outside the phone app. I was assured by the rep that the order would be cancelled, but it would take 1-3 days since the shipping time was listed as 2-8 weeks. One day later the item was listed as "shipped", but did not in fact ship until 5 days later. I spoke with several other representatives, and one who disconnected from our chat when I asked about cancellation, return, or price match policies. The most helpful rep whom I spoke with advised me to refuse this package and contact the 3rd party seller directly, giving me their number. The number they gave me was actually for UPS.

    When speaking with UPS I was advised that I could not do anything to refuse this order as per a signed agreement with UPS and the retailer. I asked that it not be delivered, and disputed the charge with my credit card company. I spoke with a supervisor at UPS who contacted the truck the shipment was on and instructed them to mark the order for return to sender. Long story short, purchases with BBB are a gamble. The company seems to be a mess, and in transition from Overstock's acquisition and rebranding as BBB. Currently, there is a lot of misleading information concerning their policies, poor customer service, and no way to contact the companies who are actually shipping you the item. They did have no trouble immediately charging me the 628.99 however. Avoid purchases at this time.

    I bought a bureau from Bed, Bath, Bed Bath and Beyond. UPS requires you to wait for an entire day to deliver the item. I was there when I saw the delivery person drop the box. I asked the UPS driver to wait to ensure that there was no damage done to the bureau. The UPS driver said he didn’t have enough time for me to check out the item. When I removed the bureau from the box, I noticed the middle drawer was warped. This may have occurred when the UPS driver drop the box, or it had sent it had it had been sent to me this way. Bed Bath, and beyond does not check items in advance to ensure that they are not damaged. I contacted customer service.

    As soon as I realize the problem and the most that they were willing to offer was $68. I did not buy an item that was damaged but a new item and the $68 offer is a joke. I was told that a supervisor would be contacting me within 48 hours and that has not happened. I had to call them back again and they’re now requesting that I send an email along with photographs to confirm the defective item. How much time am I supposed to waste with bed bath and beyond the problem is of their making, and rather than doing their utmost to rectify the problem. The expectation is that I spend a Nordin amount of my time dealing with this. This may come this make shock to bed Bath and beyond but my time has value and I don’t appreciate that bed Bath and beyond feel that they can both take my money and waste my time. If they choose not to check an item in advance of delivery to ensure that it is not defective, that is not my problem that is their problem.

    As a customer, I should have an expectation that when I purchase a new item, it is not it is not defective. The other suggestion is that I repackage the bureau. Wait for someone to pick it up and to be returned to bed Bath and beyond. Wasting my time with impunity is it OK and I have an expectation that is bed Bath and beyond send me an item that’s defective or has been damaged they they do the at most to rectify the problem. To be clear this is not my problem. It is the it is bed Bath and beyond problem and I should not have to jump through hoops or my time being wasted because bed Bath and beyond sends items that are either damaged or defective. And because the item was ordered online and I don’t have the benefit of checking the item in advance. It’s incumbent on bed bath and beyond to do their due diligence to ensure that I can receive an item that is neither defective or damaged. The customer service is one of the worst.

    I’ve purchased a Linenspa Essentials 5-inch Active Relief Gel Memory Foam Mattress on Saturday, September 23. Then I’ve changed my mind as we’ve decided to buy another bed frame. It was not possible to cancel my order online as there is no option and their customer service is closed during the weekend. The day after I found an email to submit a claim so I’ve decided to send an email and ask for the cancellation. On Monday, September 25, I’ve called their customer service at 9.00 am and asked them again to cancel the order. The agent told me that she will try but if it was not working I will receive an email. She also mentioned that once the tracking number will be issued, I will have to call them and asked for the delivery cancellation. I do know that this feasible with UPS.

    I did receive the email the day after saying it was not possible to cancel my order and then, the tracking number. I called again the customer service who told me that it was not possible to proceed as explained above. My only option was to wait for the delivery and decline it. The first delivery was actually for the US Customs and not for my place. That’s the only and single tracking number I’ve received. On their website it was showing delivered on September 27. Again, I called and they told me to wait for the 2nd tracking number. Unfortunately, the mattress arrived on Saturday, October 8th without any notifications therefore I was not able to decline the delivery as I was not even at home that day.

    I called again today the customer service to request the return label and they told TODAY that I had to pay for the return $35. Nowhere on their website or their communication they mention that the returns are costly. On top of that, I have to bring the mattress back to a UPS location and we do not have a car. Amazing!!! I am very disappointed and quite upset with their services. Do not order on their website especially if you are from Canada.

    On September 18, 2023, ordered a 'Backyard Discovery Monterey Cedar Swingset' from Bed Bath & Beyond online. I understood the order could take from 1 to 3 weeks for shipment. Received an "Order Confirmation" via email, and my credit card was charged $1,138.24 the same day. On October 1, 2023, received email notification: "Your Bed Bath & Beyond Order Is Being Processed." The body of the email reads: "Good news! Our warehouse has received your order and is preparing it for shipment."

    Five days later, on October 6, 2023, after receipt of 12 marketing emails, but no follow-up emails concerning my order, I checked the order status online. To my surprise, my order was listed as "Cancelled" with no further explanation. Called Bed Bath & Beyond customer service and was informed: "The order was cancelled as the item had not arrived at the warehouse." I requested further explanation and was told: "Someone will get back to you in 1 to 4 days." On Monday, October 9, 2023, called again and was told: "As my previous call was on Friday, the "1 to 4 days" started today; Monday. As 9 days had passed since the order was placed, demanded to speak to someone at Bed Bath & Beyond; not their call taking service. A "supervisor" came on the line and stated: "As the order was cancelled due to a 'short shipment' it must be re-ordered." This would result in the another 1 to 3 weeks before shipment; over a month from the original order. I gave up.

    Since September 30, 2023, I have received 18 marketing email soliciting me to buy more items from Bed Bath & Beyond online. But, still nothing about the order they cancelled without explanation. Apparently, Bed Bath & Beyond is fraudulently listing items at low prices online just to re-build their email marketing business. It appears to have become a total SCAM.

    I ordered two bar stools and was disappointed that once assembled they could not be raised or lowered. One was much too low and the other too high. I had to phone and text many times to get through to customer service and got disconnected twice. One person sent an email requesting a photo of the two chairs with a promise of a refund. The photo was sent and received (confirmed by a different representative). Both reps agreed the company would refund my money and I should donate them since they could not be put back in the box as the one was stuck too large for the box. The second rep did not follow through with an email or call back when we were disconnected and No refund has occurred.

    This WOULD be funny if the rug wasn't so expensive. On July 3 I bought an 8 by 10 washable rug for our living room. About six weeks later, when our cat threw up on it, I congratulated myself on my foresight and excellent housekeeping skills. I washed the rug in cold water at a local laundromat with extra large washers. I brought it home, still damp, and air dried it in our air conditioned home. Imagine my surprise when I put it down the next day only to find that it SHRANK. Like, not a little, A LOT. It is now floating in the middle of the rug pad that previously went underneath it. I wrote a nice letter to the company which replied, over a week later, that the 30 day return period had passed. Nothing, not one word, was said in the product description about allowing for shrinkage. And it's a standard size, which is why rug pads are made in the same size.

    In my original letter, I asked if they would simply send me a larger rug in the same style, which they do carry. No. Not happening. So: They sent me a washable rug which wasn't washable and it's my fault for not intuiting this when I opened the box. Their reply said. "It has been a pleasure helping you solve your concerns today". OMG. Is there intelligent life on their planet? I got scammed. And there isn't anything I can do about it. If this review helps even one other person to keep scrolling and shop with another company, it will have been worth it.

    I will never order anything from the site again I have had nothing but problem after problem. I ordered a portable washing machine. The first one never arrived. They deemed it as lost. They re-ordered me another one and their policy is will ship in three days. We hit the eight day mark, and it said still processing, I called customer service. I asked her why it was still showing that after eight days and she was a tad confused as to why. I advised her I wanted my order canceled. I wanted my money refunded and it would not be ordering from this company again. I went back on their site two days later, and it had updated to preparing to ship,

    I contacted them again and spoke to Dawn asked why after I cancelled my order was it showing preparing to ship. She was not sure as she could see the cancellation originally done. She then went ahead and actually canceled the order. Advised me that my cancellation email would arrive (which I never received with the first cancellation). She let me know she had processed for the refund to be returned to me in 3 to 5 business days I received the email. I have to say she was the only one I spoke to that knew anything about what was going on and how to deal with everything. Last night I received an email saying that my order could not be cancelled and if I didn’t like it upon arrival, I could return it. I tried to call there this morning to ask them what the hell was going on but they’re not open today. I cannot contact them until Monday. Never again this has been the biggest waste of my time ever.

    We order a new sofa, loveseat and chair from BB&B. First they sent us the wrong tracking number. I talked to the shipping company who found the correct number. I informed BB&B to correct the issue. Today we received the wrong furniture which we refused before removing from the truck. I asked for a supervisor who was supposed to contact me 1.5 hours ago. Hours wasted… Called back and talked to another employee who said it would take 1-2 days for their shipping dept to look into it. Their computer answering system doesn’t even recognize our phone number. Buy local, don’t deal with BB&B!!!

    I have ordered rugs from Overstock.com for years and have been very pleased with the quality of the product and the price. When I went to order another rug, I realized they had merged with BBB. I was concerned about the quality, as BBB is known for cheap products that don't last long. The rug I bought looked beautiful in the photos, but in real life, it was cheaply made and more expensive than other rugs (almost $1000). It cost me almost $100 to send it back. My days of doing business with Overstock are gone. My days of doing business with BBB were gone a long time ago. This is a merger that is not likely to succeed and for good reason.

    Bed Bath and Beyond is beyond a joke. How do you offer stackable coupons then when people try to use them state they are really not stackable. Then proceed to take me they are only stackable on sale items. Then once they see I have a sale item then they change it and say it's only stackable on certain sale items yet none of this is mentioned with the coupons. Then they had the nerve to offer me a 20% off coupon in the mail. Like lady everything I just went through with you over the phone about your coupons you want to offer me another coupon.     I would give zero stars. It’s so disappointing. I have ordered from Bed, Bath & Beyond and shopped in their stores. I have also ordered from Overstock.com. No issues with either. Since the joining of these two companies, it is terrible. I don’t have the time to make numerous phones calls to find out why they sent me an iron instead of the bread machine that I ordered. I don’t have the time to call every day to make sure they are sending my replacement, then to find out that it’s out of stock. Instead of processing my refund, they do nothing....until I call. Of course, I have to get mad. Then they have to send it to management and then they will process your refund. It’s been three weeks.

    Called again today. Had to get irate. Now they are processing my refund which will still take 3-5 days. Their customer service goes to the Philippines and they probably pay them basically nothing. Be prepared that they have no authority to resolve your problem thus the numerous phone calls. Order from Amazon. Less hassle.

    I recently had a very disappointing experience with Bed Bath and Beyond during their Going Out of Business Sale. I purchased a massage gun as a gift for someone special, only to find out that the product was missing from the box. This unfortunate situation has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with the store's customer service.

    Upon receiving the wrapped box, the recipient excitedly opened it, only to discover that the case, attachments, and instructions were the only things inside. The actual massage gun, which was the main reason for the purchase, was nowhere to be found. Adding to the frustration, I couldn't resolve the issue in-store either, as the brick and mortar location was already closed by the time I gave the gift, approximately three weeks after my initial purchase. This made it virtually impossible to physically visit the store and discuss the matter face-to-face. To rectify the situation, I attempted to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Unfortunately, even though they acknowledged the issue, they cited the "All Sales Final" policy as a reason they couldn't reverse the charge, leaving me without a solution to the problem.

    This entire experience has left me disappointed and disheartened with Bed Bath and Beyond. As a customer who has previously enjoyed shopping at their stores, I expected better treatment and support when facing such a clear mishap. The only response I get when calling any number they have listed is a recording. The lack of responsibility on the part of the store and the credit card company is disconcerting.

    In conclusion, I would caution anyone considering purchasing from Bed Bath and Beyond during their Going Out of Business Sale. While the deals may seem tempting, be aware that the "All Sales Final" policy can leave you without recourse should you encounter any problems with your purchase. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a warning to others and that the store takes the necessary steps to rectify their customer service practices.

    I saw BBB Warehouse was having a 70% off sale. I ordered 7 items on July 31. The website said I would receive the order between August 2 and Aug 4. I am moving out of state on August 10. The timing was perfect for the delivery. I could put the boxes in the POD Storage Container and have all my belongings delivered at the same time. On August 2 I received a "Your Items Have Shipped" email. I clicked on Track Package to find the items I ordered are in China. I pulled up the Confirmation of Order email. At the bottom was a contact email address.

    I sent them an email asking about my delivery. Which got returned. I then went into the website and looked up contact information. They had a different email address. So I sent an email to that address, which got returned. I found an 888 number on their website and called them. You get a recorded message saying to leave a message with your name, order # and reason for your call. It also stated that your call would be returned between 9am and 6pm EST. I never received a return call. As of this morning. August 5th, my order is still sitting in China waiting processing. It has not moved one mile. I clicked on the China Post website to find it can take up to 45 days for packages to be delivered to the USA.

    How BBB can give dates when your items will be delivered that are completely untrue is infuriating! You cannot change the delivery address of your order either and can only cancel your order within 30 minutes from when it is placed. If I had a crystal ball and knew what would happen today back when I placed the order, I would have had it shipped to my new address. If and it's a huge IF, my packages ever make it to the USA and are delivered, I will not be here. DO NOT, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE ORDER FROM BBB. No wonder they failed as a business!!

    You should think twice before purchasing anything from this website. They have a terrible return policy. It's like some kind of trap where you buy something you stuck with it. The "business" with Overstock now it is Bed Bath & Beyond cost me $179 in the wind because the return cost is the buyer's responsibility and it would have cost me about the same.     In the 9 years of living here, I have only been to BBB a handful of times. Each time has been a horrible experience. Recently bought a juicer on sale due to the store closing and it was never delivered. No one would cooperate in helping us, so no juicer and down $100!! When asking for help in person, the lady immediately said they don’t even sell juicers and they don’t do online orders which was absolutely false information. I offered to show all the emails and evidence and she refused. Still no juicer and no money. The staff proved to be useless and extremely rude. No wonder they are closing down.

    The store reps misplaced prices and had a price of 16.99 above a product. After I paid I realized the item rung up for $50. Although the store manager saw and acknowledged there was a mix up they still refused to correct the matter. Instead she just moved the sign afterwards. This is why they are in the situation they're in now. Horrible service! Plus the items are still ridiculously expensive. Don't waste your time or money. I'm glad they're kicking rocks!     In 2022 I returned a product and received a merchant credit card. When I tried to use it it had no money on it. After three phone calls, many long holds and let me have your number so if we get disconnected I will call you back, I am no better off. I still have no money even though I have been told it was fixed. Good thing they are closing I would never buy anything from them. Of course nothing will be done about this situation now.

    Beware of purchasing from Bed Bath and Beyond as they close their Canadian stores. They are selling old stock of Therapedic memory foam cooling mattress toppers that are ruined by prolonged compression packaging. Of course, Bed Bath and Beyond takes no responsibility for this, no exchanges and no refunds but they knew that the product was old. There might have been some discount but when you think that you are paying hundreds of dollars for a 3 inch memory foam topper and you get a memory foam pancake, you have been ripped off.

    My fiancé and I placed an order online 4/11/23. For whatever reasons… BBB cancelled our $600 order. When inquiring about getting our $$$ back (order was paid in full) we were told 48-72 hours. We have been calling multiple times daily and been given the runaround. It has been a week and no signs of any $! We didn’t cancel the order yet we are the ones still waiting for our refund... our $$! We are beginning to think we won’t see a dime!! No one who answers the phone for customer service is from America. Makes things a bit challenging and not one of them has a number to their superiors.     They tell me my store in Mission Valley here in San Diego is not closing, but it might as well! Every time I go there I see MORE floor space and LESS products!     Just a few months pre-COVID, before massive supply chain issues, I purchased a gift through the registry for my cousin's wedding. A couple of weeks ago I was looking for her contact info by searching old emails and I found a shipping email from BB&B. On a whim, I clicked the tracking. I was shocked to find: Carrier Awaiting Shipment. I thought this must be a glitch. There was also a "delivered" email, but I had a bad feeling, so I clicked the customer service chat. I was told that the item had been out of stock and never arrived! So my cousin never got the gift and there were no emails or anything to let me know. I was mortified. They also told me I was never charged because the order didn't go through. That seemed confusing two different things.

    I checked the credit card I would likely have used and didn't see anything on the card, but I chatted again to make sure. I was also requesting that they reach out to my cousin because I felt awful and I wanted her to know that there really was a present, but they wouldn't do that. Just: "Sorry for the inconvenience." The second chat I was again told my "credit card" wasn't charged. I still felt there was something else they should or could be doing, and reached out through Facebook messenger. This time they got back to me after doing "research" and said that they couldn't get authorization from my credit card so it was never charged. No explanation for the two emails -- "shipped" and "delivered." They offered me a $65 credit which I thought was weird, but I said sure.

    I was using the credit to get toys for my cousin's now 1 year old son. I looked at my account and was able to find the receipt for the wedding purchase. I hadn't used a credit card. I used PayPal. It was on the receipt. I went through old PayPal records and found that the money had in fact been taken out of my account. So they had taken my money, and sent me a shipped email and a delivery email and the items had never been shipped or delivered. I wrote them back. I haven't heard anything. Here's the thing, I don't believe that this is just me. I think this is a scam they have been running for years. Think about it: How many times when you buy a gift through a registry and it is being delivered to the recipient's home, do you actually check that it got there? Maybe you get a thank you from the recipient, but if you don't do you pursue it? Do you ask: Did you get my gift?

    I think Bed Bath and Beyond doesn't deliver a certain of the gifts. They wait for people to check. A certain percentage never checks. They keep the money. It's the perfect crime. Steal a million from one person and you'll get caught, steal an average of $150 from 10,000 people who won't check, and that's enough to float a dying retail legacy retailer for another year. Do not register with them. Do not buy from their registry. Find the same product elsewhere and let the bride/mom/etc know why.

    The item advertised at the time of purchase 11/13/22 is not what I received. It said - Irish Spring Original, what I got was the Original Clean. I bought several packs of what was stated to be Original as it has become increasingly hard to find in stores. I realize Colgate-Palmolive has stopped making the soap I wanted, but assumed based on what was shown on the Bed Bath & Beyond website that they had some left in stock. When the package arrived it was the newer Irish Spring with flaxseed. I don't care for the newer version.

    Upon returning the item to the store, I was informed that you don't get reimbursed for shipping for an online order. So not only did I not get what I expected based on what was advertised, but I also wasted money for shipping. Not happy. It seems that there are some companies that just don't update the web data to reflect accurate product information. I have wondered if these are marketing strategies to get people like myself to buy these items based on what is shown, hoping that I will just keep the product. All I end up doing is returning them, leaving a bad review and being frustrated. All over a few bars of soap.

    It is the principle that I don't like being lied to or deceived. Businesses have a fundamental duty and obligation to advertise and promote products accurately and responsibly. If you like the new scent, that's fine, you're in luck, but if you want the older original scent you should look elsewhere. Unlike other online stores, you don't get reimbursed for shipping. This was BB&B's mistake. Interestingly, in BB&B's "Terms of Service" for a review, they warn not to do exactly what they have done. I won't be buying from them again.

    I would give zero stars. Awful customer service, lie, can't get things right, even my name~! My order was placed, email showed what I ordered, it came wrong item. Nothing like what I ordered. They said it was because what I ordered was low stock so they sent me w/o my knowledge their choice! Awful piece of trash! I called customer service. Got finally someone who was really good who said yes there really were more and he would send it. Today it was correct but arrived broken in 7-8 pieces- outer carton smashed but inner box looked like someone threw in broken item and threw some dirty tape on a crushed end. I called and got a super nasty customer serv rep, and supervisor she finally transferred me to was insufferably rude. I am intending to sue.

    I placed an online order and it was a disaster from the beginning. I was on the app. Put in my credit card and it said must use correct security code or different card. I tried it again kept getting the same error so tried my debit card 3 times same error. Finally I went on to their website and signed in and was able to place my order and payment go through. Well it turns out they charged me 10 times for the order that each time said it didn’t work. Trying to reach someone was a very long process.

    Finally a week and half later the charges dropped off my account. Kept waiting for delivery it showed a delivery day didn’t arrive then showed damaged no bar code label and no available date. What the heck does that mean. Finally shows up and it’s missing one of my items that says it was delivered. After sitting on hold for 40 minutes to talk to out of country people that can do nothing but apologize but honestly don’t know what they’re doing I tell them I’m missing the item and they say they will resend it. I’m adamant that I better not be charged again for this. We will keep our fingers crossed that this works I get it and don’t get charged again. After this I am done with this store. They are very unreliable with terrible customer service. I tell you to be cautious ordering online with this store

    To start BBB sells things at a very expensive price and then tries to get you excited with all these coupons. You basically spend the price you should with those coupons, there is no discount. Trying to use the website is a nightmare especially when they cancel an order on you saying the item isn't available yet it is still available online.

    Numerous times I have received items in the mail that were damaged inside the packaging OR the packaging was damaged and the item was missing. Working with the company to get your money back is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!! I have called customer service at least 3 times now just to get a resolution and they continue to tell me to wait on the seller. If you want to buy home goods just go to Amazon or Home Goods, they are so much nicer, friendlier and have a WAY better policy for their customers.

    Bed Bath & Beyond's customer service is the worst I've ever seen. It took me 3 phone calls and 4 virtual chat sessions to finally get to someone. The item I ordered was in stock but they forgot to ship it and then was backordered. They apologized and offered to cancel my order.. like that does what I want? I was guaranteed delivery of the backorder within 2 weeks and told to be given a $10 credit. The CS emailed saying they'll provide updates here. 2 days before the guaranteed delivery they canceled my order - they also only gave me $4.12 credit instead of $10. Since then I've reached out to that email and included Nancy Lehotay, VP Customer Service, on my emails and been ignored. Not only does their automated system and recommended CS systems SUCK, so do the actual people.
