    I ordered an outdoor water feature, it was scheduled to arrive on a certain date and then was delayed by a few days. When we received it and took it out of the box, there was a lot of damage. Scratches and dings all over it, making it look like it came used from a yard sale. I used the chat on the site and basically, my only option was to take it apart and box it all up and send it back for a refund or replacement. I advised that we had already put it together and it seemed to be working but it just looks ugly with all of the dings, and that for $150 plus dollars, they should just give me a 15% refund. They refused and said my only option is to take it apart, box it up and send it back. Since we live 30 miles outside of town in the country, nowhere near a UPS store, I just said to forget it and I won't buy from there anymore. Really disappointing!

    Absolute garbage dump of products. Their quality of the same exact item I have already purchase is in the trash. No wonder these thieves went bankrupt. DON'T buy anything from them. LET them finish going all the way out of business. So damn angry right now.

    I ordered a bedspread from Bed Bath and Beyond in 2017. I love the bedspread and needed to replace it. So I ordered a new one online. It was supposed to be for a queen size bed. The bedspread was fine but the bed skirt was too big. The decorative pillows that come with it are flat like a pancake not pillows like my first order and certainly not like the pillows in the picture. I called and let them know. I decided to keep the set replace the pancake pillows with the pillows I have and adjust the bed skirt. He said he would refund me 8.00 instead he charged my card twice. The bank declined the charge and flagged the charge as fraud and cancelled my card. Customer service at bed bath and beyond is terrible. I called to complain, they said the manager would get back to me in 24 hours. Unbelievable.

    I ordered items from this place online and a comforter set cost me $89 and the sheet set with $42 and I got them delivered and look at the items and it wasn’t what I suspected. The color was off and I wanted to return those items and I did and the customer service told me that they have to keep partial of my refund on each item because they wasn’t happy with the quality Which is crazy. Some of them was very rude and disrespectful.

    I am very disappointed and feel like it's a bait and switch situation. I used to love the store Bed Bath and Beyond and was happy to hear they were on-line. Unfortunately it's NOT the same and I will never again go to this site. I ordered cloth napkins and they just aren't the right color so I attempted to return. I received a note saying I'd be contacted by the seller... What?? So apparently even though they were on the Bed Bath and Beyond site it's an outside seller. This complicates a return AND means that I have to pay for the shipping back to their store. Beware if you're buying from this site!! Check the return policy before purchasing. I would have been better off using Amazon...

    Ordered a comforter, had to return because I needed different color. They seriously wanted to charge me over twenty dollars to return the comforter. I will never order from them again. I kept the comforter in the wrong color and was happy to never shop with them ever again. What a rip-off they were trying to pull. And reading other reviews, it's a common practice to charge a ridiculous amount to return an item. Customer gone!

    Deceitful business practice with the Bed Bath and Beyond Plus membership. They enrolled me, when I bought a rolling rack, without my knowledge and put me on autorenewal. I received no notice about the renewal and they charged me for a second year. As soon as I received the notification, I had to call several times and their policy is too bad for me and no refund. I won't be ordering anything online from them anymore.

    Do not buy rugs, especially bathroom rugs from Bed Bath and Beyond because if you experience any problems other than it was their error, it came damaged you pay for the return. It is a hefty return cost of $29.95 which they will deduct from the order. There is no compromise with them. I will never purchase another item from them and will deactivate my account instantly.

    We bought a shower Stainless Steel Corner Organizer. For $130 dollars what we got was a Steel corner organizer in an Amazon box. It wasn’t even the same, The same one sell on Amazon for $70 with free shipping and return! We were charged shipping to send it back. If this is how they operate, won’t be buying from them again!

    If I could rate them zero I would. Item was deliver destroyed. Parts of the product were sticking out of the box scuffed, scratched and damaged. It looks like someone drug it behind the truck to get it here. Getting this item picked up and getting refunded for it has been an even worse process. BBB has no problem charging immediately but when it comes to getting your money back, good luck. I have called in 3 different times and gotten 3 different answers. I received an email from them with details surrounding my refund and apparently that was all inaccurate and not what they were actually doing. No one is willing to do anything to fix this or to expedite the process after THEIR ERROR.

    I promise you, whatever you find on BBB is not worth it and heaven forbid you have to return anything THEY SENT DAMAGED because they will do everything in their power to keep your money and delay refund. DO NOT SHOP BED BATH & BEYOND. They are selling off broken junk and trying to cover whatever expenses they have at all costs. Learning first hand why they filed for Chapter 11. Worst customer service experience I have ever had.

    If I could give zero I would!! I ordered a contour bathroom rug from BBB and had to return because it did not fit the contour of the toilet and was also very poorly made. I paid $20 for the rug and my refund was .28 cents. So basically I paid for a rug, returned and didn’t get a refund because they charged $20 for shipping via UPS. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM BBB ONLINE AGAIN!!!

    Purchased comforter and curtains. Comforter came from BB and Beyond and Curtains came from a store in NY. Returned both. Cost to return via their UPS Label $55.00. Quite a bit to return. Dropped off at UPS store with receipt. Good thing. One credit came through, other credit for Curtains from Store in NY never came through. Had to send them proof of return and receipt 3 times before credit applied. Purchased $180 and received credit of $130. Could have easily bought same thing from Amazon with free returns. Live and Learn.

    I ordered a rug that was very poorly packaged with damaged box. Rug was shipped folded up in a box instead of on a roll so there are creases all over and it will not lie flat. It is very thin with cheap pile and edges are wavy and will not lie flat. Pretty design but horrible quality. To top it all off it is outgassing a very toxic, chemical smell that is intolerable. To add insult to injury, Bed Bath and Beyond is charging me nearly half of what I paid for the rug to ship this poor quality rug back to them to make a return.

    I will NEVER order anything from Bed, Bath, and Beyond ever again. With service like this, it is no wonder they had to close out so many stores. They have lost my business forever that is for sure! Do not buy rugs or anything large from Bed, Bath, and Beyond as you will have to pay for return shipping on a poor product. As a final note, Bed, Bath, & Beyond will not post my negative review on their site so you cannot really trust them by reading through the reviews as they decline to post negative reviews.

    The absolute worst customer service I've ever received, they give you the run around, make promises to call you back to take care of your "problem" they never do, then you sit on hold for hours again. You email them, they all respond with the same question and never actually answer your questions, they won't send you return labels to send your product back when it doesn't actually work out.

    We ordered a bed and after box was delivered we opened it to find that it was a metal cabinet not the bed that we had ordered. Called customer service at Bed Bath & Beyond and they only could say "sorry". They opened a case and told me to call a third party. So finally did get thru to the third party the following day. They sent a FedEx label and they won't ship the bed until FedEx scans the label. The worst of it is hours of inconvenience and our time with no compensation, we are still without the bed and BB&B has our money. We will never ever order from them again. We were loyal customers when they had stores.

    Please consider buying elsewhere. They have a scam going. Placed an order and then realized it was the wrong item so I tried to cancel the order. They were conveniently closed so I messaged them but that just it you in a loop. They said I had to of cancelled within an hour. I then filled out an email and requested to cancel. I’m then called this morning and they said they would “try” and cancel it but won’t know for two days. Hours later I get the notice they already shipped. I then started the return only to find out shipping costs are 52.00 on a 97.00 product. They said you can’t ship it back yourself. Basically they knew I wanted to cancel and they made sure they shopped before the two days were up. I ordered so much from them but will no longer. It’s be vibe a fly by night company.

    I ordered a desk from Bed Bath and Beyond on January 26, and it didn’t arrive until February 18—almost a month later! When it finally showed up, it had a huge crack and was missing assembly holes. Unacceptable. I immediately reached out to customer service for a replacement part, but after wasting another week waiting for a response, their brilliant solution was to ship the entire thing back for a refund or replacement. Are you kidding me?! This is a 52-inch-wide table—how exactly am I supposed to ship it back when I don’t even have a trunk? Terrible product. Even worse customer service. And to top it off, I left a one-star review on their website, and they REFUSED to publish it. LOL. Great job keeping your little illusion of quality intact. Never buying from this joke of a company again. Buyers, consider yourselves warned.

    Purchased two sets of sheets in the same order. The quality was beyond poor. One set was delayed. In order to return, I would have to send back in two separate packages. I was told I would receive two prepaid labels. Then I received an email that $44 would be deducted from my return. Shame on them.     I purchased a toilet and paid extra for insurance to ensure I received a quality product. However, the toilet arrived defective. I contacted the company, and they initially agreed to process a replacement. After a week without a response, I called again, and they stated they would try again. Later, they offered me $27 or $70.69 for the damaged part, but I informed them that the part costs $150 on both Amazon and their own website. I did not accept their offer. Now, their inventory is at zero, and they are still only offering $27 for a part that costs $150. I did not agree to keep a damaged product or go through the hassle of removing and returning the main assembly when they failed to provide me with a functional toilet. I am requesting a fair refund of $150 so I can purchase the part when it becomes available. I understand why they went bankrupt.

    I had already canceled the subscription with Bed, Bath & Beyond last year. If there's a "glitch" in their system and if the reason why the customer service rep couldn't email me a confirmation of my cancellation is due to their process but assured me it was done, then it should not be put on the buyer. Bed, Bath & Beyond's response that multiple notifications were sent prior to the renewal is incorrect. I went into my Yahoo account and searched all of the emails from Bed, Bath & Beyond and did not receive any notifications except for the only one sent to me on Monday 2/3/25 with the subject: Thank You for Your Bed Bath & Beyond Order (**)! I do have a job and worked on Monday 2/3 and was not off work until Wednesday 2/5, which was when I was able to call Bed, Bath & Beyond's customer service number.

    Twice their customer service reps had promised me that a supervisor would call me back & twice no one called me. Bed, Bath & Beyond's response to my complaint with the BBB was a huge disappointment and extremely frustrating since this will definitely lead me to no longer shop at Bed, Bath & Beyond once I finish up the credit amount that is still in my account minus the charge for a membership that I already cancelled the auto-renewal last year! I have never experienced or heard anyone experience a lack of customer service from any large company like this. It's unbelievable that Bed, Bath & Beyond would not refund an unauthorized charge of $19.95 and not only lose a customer but will be getting bad reviews from me for every review website I'm aware of. Customer service satisfaction and integrity is everything to a business.

    Unfortunately, Bed, Bath & Beyond is majorly lacking of it. Although, headquarters has assured that I have been removed from the auto-renew via their response to my complaint with the BBB, I don't trust their company. I requested for them to send me an email confirmation that the auto-renewal is truly canceled for my records so that I will not be in the same situation year after year, as I am now. We'll have to wait & see if that will be provided. Looks like I will have to contact PayPal to see if I can put Bed, Bath & Beyond a vendor list that's not allowed to charge my PayPal account.

    I used to be a very happy customer of this business when they had a store in Tucson, AZ. I bought something online for the first time on February 7.     I purchased several items from them for my house that is in reconstruction. I had to return one of the items- purchased on January 6 ONLINE, which it was delivered on January 16. Because I contacted them for the return a day AFTER the 30 days on 2.17.25, they said the product was outside of the return window. Also, if it would be within the return window, you are responsible for the shipping of the item. This is indeed BEYOND unreasonable. They asked me to wait 1 to 2 days to answer my questions! I made a little research and Amazon had the same item almost half the price I paid for it! Lesson learned.

    Bed Bath & Beyond "declines" negative furniture reviews. I bought a bed from Bed Bath and Beyond for 2K and it is shown and states black. However the bed is actually chocolate. Here is the problem. I wrote a 1 star review for the item and the review was "declined" by Bed Bath & Beyond. They won't put a negative review on the website and I presume it is because they want people to buy this heavy furniture that cannot be returned.     I received a gift card a while back. According to info listed on the card, and on the website, these cards do not expire. I experienced some issues attempting to verify the balance, as well as trying to place an order online. I kept receiving an error message stating the card info couldn't be found. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed that with the Overstock/BBB merger, all gift cards surrounding that particular date would not be honored. Highly disappointed in this company for not honoring something found in writing on their product, as well as their website.

    Do not purchase from BB&B. I purchased a dresser from them and paid extra for the assembly. They contract the assembly to Angie’s. The guy who came to assemble the unit broke pieces of the frame. I reached out to BB&B, they initially told me they would send replacement part or replace the dresser if they can’t send the parts. 3 weeks later I reached out to them again because no one followed up with me. They said the parts will be shipped out in 2 days. A few hours later, they sent an email saying they will not be sending the parts or a new unit. I need to contact Angie’s for a refund because they broke it. I have never experienced such poor customer service and now I understand why their business isn’t doing well.

    Whitney Antique Linen Weathered Grey Display Cabinet Full Star. Damaged. I got this in December of last year, 2024. It's absolutely beautiful but it came to me damaged. I was not home when it was delivered but a family member said that the delivery people were talking about damage to one of the legs. A few days later I got a call from someone inquiring about the delivery and I told her that the furniture was here and there was some question about a damaged leg. I told her that I didn't see any damage but I was told someone would be in touch with me and would come out and take a look at it. I have not been contacted since.

    A couple of days ago I opened the middle drawer and it fell apart in my hand. I don't know if it was broken along with the leg during delivery or if it came from the warehouse like that. After the drawer broke I looked underneath and saw the problem the delivery men were talking about. I wrote a bad review on their website but of course they never published. I still haven't had anyone reach out to me about repairing the damage.

    I paid almost $300 for a bed frame for my daughter for Christmas. Long story short, it wouldn’t fit in her room after she acquired some other furniture for Christmas. I never even opened the two boxes. They were returned, unopened, immediately. I got of $21 refunded to me. I went back and forth with them for months trying to get my money back. I’ve received 3 different excuses, none of which make sense. They’re claiming they didn’t get the whole product back, even though both tracking numbers show delivered. I see why they went bankrupt. They’re thieves. I paid them $250 to waste my time.

    PLEASE be absolutely sure you want to place your order. I cancelled shortly after I ordered and was told it would be reviewed. They shipped it anyway and now I'm responsible for the return fee. It was initially 41.22 but got it down to 30.92. I had already gotten it from Amazon which of course offered free returns. Buyer beware!!!

    I bought three items. One was advertised as fabric and wood, but they sent something made of plastic and paper and of terrible finishing. The second item was specified to be grey, but they sent a blue item with damaged fabric and wood with chips and scratches that appears to be old and used. When asked to rectify the situation, they said I could wait till they send a replacement in four months or take a $35 discount on the $238 item for something that arrived old, used, damaged, and the wrong color instead of new, undamaged, and the right color. Attaching pictures of how bad the item is. The third item came with marks and scratches, and when I asked for a replacement, they said they'd get back to me in 2 business days. I reached back to them after 6 days when they still hadn't gotten back to me and they offered me a 25% discount.

    I purchased some high-end towels for our master bathroom from Bed, Bath and Beyond. The day before they were delivered, I noticed that they went on sale on the website, so I called customer service to ask for a price adjustment. I was told that the towels went on sale after I purchased them so they cannot adjust my purchase price. I asked to stop the shipment or process a return, and they wanted to charge me $20.66 to process the return. Because of their return policies I will never purchase from BBB or Overstock again. There are too many other places to purchase that are more reputable than these two online stores.

    I accidentally bought the wrong size barrel of a curling iron. I received it in the mail and noticed it was the wrong size. I went to go return it online, but could not find the return button. So I went to the listing of my item and there was no "nonreturnable." In fact, when I scrolled to the bottom it said "Returns Standard" and the drop down showed standard returns being 30 days. I called customer service and they said it was in the non return policy. The policy was nowhere clear on the product listing and it is NJ policy that return policies be listed CONSPICUOUSLY, meaning to be clearly visible-- which it was not. The return policy that stated the nonreturnable items is deep within the website and not clear at all. It is in fact, deceptive. This can in fact, be cause for legal action.

    They denied my complaint, despite the fact that the product did not say nonreturnable, was not listed near the item, did not state clearly that this product was nonreturnable on the drop down of the standard returns; which is in fact in violation of NJ return policies, and is in fact deceptive practices which is cause for legal action.

    This business is a complete scam! I signed up for the $19.95 yearly deal only to find out that you are only permitted ONE return per month and it MUST be in the form of a STORE CREDIT! If I want the refund on my credit card, I would have to PAY for shipping! What a JOKE, SCAM and horrible way to conduct business! No wonder why there aren't any more brick and mortar stores!     The return policy is pay for the goods you purchased. Sent me the wrong size area rugs twice. You have to package the 8x10 area rug which is ridiculous. Customer service is outsourced out of USA and definite communication problem. Turns out to be a miserable experience. Go elsewhere and do yourself a favor.

    I frequently shopped Bed Bath and Beyond (BBB) stores before the bankruptcy. Gave them a chance as an online retailer and the experience was unconscionable. We ordered a set of outdoor furniture. The quality was terrible, not as described and to booted not fit our space. Unlike shopping Amazon, there is a cost for all returns (we knew this). We went online to process the return to the $166 charge given by the website (furniture was just over $1200). We printed the shipping labels provided. Then UPS refused the shipment because BBB’s labels only reflected 12 pounds per box!

    Embarrassed, we called BBB for correct shipping labels and suddenly they demanded almost $400 for the shipment. When we contested this through PayPal, suddenly PayPal was told that this sum was a “discount”. Then they had the nerve to tell us that the “12 lb” labels at $166 would work if we brought the 60 lb boxes to a UPS store (a fraud on UPS? Or would we simply be refused again?). We had neither the strength nor vehicle to transport to UPS. Why didn’t they tell us the return could cost 1/3 the price of the furniture to begin with? It was stupid on our part to give BBB the chance since we could have bought the same furniture on Amazon and suffered none of these problems.     I bought a desk chair and footrest, unknowingly from a "marketplace seller". I just thought I was purchasing through Bed Bath & Beyond, a known company. The photos did not depict the color and fabric as I thought, so I started the return process. Instead of generating me a return label, I received a message to contact the seller. The seller's phone number provided was not in service. After three emails, I still had no response from the seller. The seller's email was suspiciously an Outlook address, not a professional business address. After a week of back and forth phone calls, emails and explanations of my issue with Bed Bath and Beyond customer service, they kept reiterating that I needed to communicate with the seller directly.

    I felt like I was on a hampster wheel. I asked for my return to be escalated. They told me a supervisor would call me the same day, but I never received a call. Be careful when ordering, particularly from a "marketplace seller", which is not obvious when shopping. Easy 30 day returns as marketed on the website is confusing and deceiving.

    You will make an expensive mistake. Financially and mentally. I paid $1209 for 2024 Christmas gift. A vanity w/ mirror & lights. Only the drawers showed up. And Bed Bath & Beyond supplier is the final boss. If it's a **-made product. China is the boss. In other words all photos and paragraph descriptions on items are false representation of the items you're paying for. They don't even offer options to buy a mirror & lights separately. This shows malice & intent. Knowing a photo has a mirror in every ad on BB&B website. But they have none in stock. And will not provide details on how to finish completing the items ordered from a description & multiple photos.

    I ordered a loft bed for my daughter and have still not received it. It is a bed that is sold on many other sites, from Walmart to Amazon, but I chose to order from Bed Bath & Beyond because they said it would be delivered the day before we were moving into our new home. I’ve called the company several times and all they do is tell me that they are escalating it to their partner team and will update me in 2 business days, which never happens. I will never buy from them again, nor their parent company Overstock.com, because they couldn’t care less about timeliness or customer service.     Don't buy from Bed Bath Beyond. They sell from other merchants and their products are wrongly quoted on Bed Bath Beyond to mislead customers and end up sending refurbished products.     Used to love to go there and even the first few online purchases were very good. That ended when they started to sell goods from other merchants. Purchased what clearly looked like glass containers and when they arrived, I saw they were plastic. Called to make a return-their garbage customer service is now overseas-so all they know is to say "how are you doing, I understand and stay safe"-what an insult. Could barely understand their terrible English. The final outcome was they wanted me to pay shipping of $85 to return a $81 item. Stay away at all costs.

    I ordered MCombo Large Power Swivel Glider Rocker Recliner Chair with Massage and Heat, Faux Leather 7748 Option :- Grey. It was supposed be delivered before Christmas and as of 1/6/2025 I still haven't received it. I called many times. Every time it's a different answer and now the item is sold out or out of stock and they didn't want to give me another colored for the same price. I had to order it in another colored and pay more than the original price.     I ordered a patio set from BBB.com and when it came in it looked nothing like what I ordered, and the description of the actual product didn't match either. Thinking I received the wrong order I submitted a return request through the website only to have Bed Bath and Beyond tell me they would have to contact the supplier as they only host the product on the website, and have absolutely nothing to do with the shipping, returning, or inspecting said product for accuracy. I wasn't aware of this as I only ordered through this company thinking they would be the same quality and ease as their old storefronts. I contacted the supplier (which was actually a distribution center for a Chinese manufacturer) and after 4 days of emails they assured me I got the correct product, but the description, and pictures they advertised were wrong and if I wanted a refund I would need to box everything back up and contact BBB to get my money back.

    I did this, and scheduled a UPS pickup that never came (after 4 different phone calls to BBB customer service) so I ended up just taking all the boxes to UPS. After I confirmed delivery through the various tracking numbers I called customer service back, and they assured me they received the packages and my refund was initiated and it would be 24-48 hours until funds were released. It has been 8 weeks now and after 7 different phone calls to customer service I finally had to go through my credit card company to dispute the charge and I'm now letting the CapitalOne fraud department deal with it.

    My mom bought towels for me on-line for Christmas. These towels, while described as “ultimate resort-style comfort” and “plush” are very thin and not worth the money. We never used the product or even took them out of the packaging. Bed Bath and Beyond’s on-line return policy (no other option) is that the customer must pay for return shipping. However, my biggest issue is that in order to return all the I MUST use 3 different return labels, one for each product. The items cost a total of $140. The return cost is nearly $70. This is a horrible policy for an online only store! I will never us or recommend Bed Bath & Beyond to anyone.

    The return policy is a SCAM. They intentionally DELAY and play games hoping you'll go away. I've been trying to return a defective crappy mattress for 3 weeks and these scammers go around in circles and straight up lie over and over again. I've wasted hours calling to speak with their call centers in other countries. They apologize each time and assure me they are escalating the return to the correct team. They ask for photos then send a list of questions, none of which are relevant to my return - then after I respond to them all - they start all over! "We're sorry, your return was not properly escalated two weeks ago." It's beyond absurd.

    Over a dozen requests to speak with a supervisor and yet one was never available. I've given up and have just accepted the loss of over $800. It's not worth the stress anymore. Over the holidays too, these people truly have no shame. The whole return policy is a scam. NEVER buy from these fools. Hopefully their corporate offices will respond. We shall see.

    I can’t even begin to explain how absolutely horrendous my experience with Bed Bath & Beyond has been since it changed ownership. It’s like the entire company has taken a nosedive into oblivion. The furniture is an absolute joke—cheap, flimsy, and falling apart the second you try to assemble it. I purchased an "oversized" piece, and it had defects straight out of the box. The wood is warped, screws don’t fit, and parts are missing. It’s as if they deliberately send out damaged goods, hoping you won’t notice until it’s too late.

    But the worst part? The customer service is a NIGHTMARE. They have no clue what they’re doing and don’t care one bit about resolving any issues. When I contacted them about the defective furniture, I was met with unhelpful agents who gave me the run around for days. They offered no solutions, just a list of excuses and a refusal to provide any form of compensation.

    And here’s the kicker: if you do manage to get a return processed (which is a miracle in itself), they charge you outrageous fees to ship the junk back. It’s clear that their entire business model now revolves around selling low-quality furniture at sky-high prices and then making it as painful as possible for you to return it. They basically rob you twice—once when you buy, and again when you try to fix their mistakes. Bed Bath & Beyond used to be a reliable name, but now it’s nothing more than a scam operation. If you’re looking for anything even remotely decent in terms of quality, or if you value your sanity, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away. I wouldn’t trust them with a dollar, let alone hundreds.

    I ordered a dish rack, and while it arrived quickly, I was disappointed for several reasons. As a longtime Amazon Prime customer, I’m used to their seamless return process. However, this experience was entirely different. First, the return wasn’t free, which I can accept, but $22 for a return fee is excessive. Then, they required me to provide an email for the return label, even though they already had my email from the account I created to make the purchase.

    You’d think that would be the end of the hassle, but it wasn’t. Instead of sending the label directly, they sent a link to the UPS site, which didn’t work. Clicking the “Get Label” button just redirected me to the main page. Thankfully, they also provided a barcode (not a QR code as you’d expect), so I had to rely on a UPS store to print the label for me. Adding to the frustration, I was limited to specific return locations. The nearest UPS collection points, which I often use, only accept packages with preprinted UPS labels—another inconvenience. With such outdated and clunky service, it’s no wonder Bed Bath & Beyond’s retail stores closed. Hopefully, their online store won’t last much longer either, sparing other customers from this kind of ordeal.

    I purchased two curtain rods for my home. This was the only place I could find ones similar to what I have. Unfortunately, they did not flow with the decor. I did a return. They charged me double the amount I paid to ship. BE AWARE!!! When you are sent the info from this business, make sure you read the email very carefully. I did my return in two days of receiving the label. If I would have waited a day or two longer, I would have been stuck with paying the original total price. So now, I’m out the original shipping cost and the return shipping cost. No wonder they have bad reviews.

    Bed Bye and now left Behind! We saw a set of flatware that we thought looked beautiful, Wallace Lux, we bought 2 sets of 20 to have it for 8 and cost $181 something. On Bed Bath and Beyond the pictures looked nice and the set looked delicate, when it arrived it was the size of something you see in Texas restaurants, large. We started to proceed in returning and they wanted $40 for shipping back. No drop off locations since all stores are closed like Amazon. I called and we got a $15 discount so we still lost $25. We will NEVER buy from Bed Bath and Beyond again and telling everyone we know about having to return something that lacked descriptions, dimensions on website and was not what it looked like when if arrived.

    I received the online ordered duvet cover shown in the pic on 9/24. Today 12/24, 3 months later, when I took it off to wash it for the first time, the zipper broke in half and fell off. The duvet was already out and I was re-zipping the cover in a normal fashion. I can no longer use the duvet cover. When I called Bed Bath and Beyond they told me sorry not sorry! They will not replace the cover! I spent well over a $100 on this cover! I will never purchase from bed bath and beyond!!!     I had ordered an expensive bed from Bed Bath and Beyond. I ordered on14th on November. I had been sleeping on a mattress waiting for my order to come in and I email them from time to time with promises of receiving my bed. After nearly 4 weeks passing I email again and then they tell me they don’t know what happened to tracking number then they send me a king of my order from a 3rd partyy furniture store and then telling me tracking was in question. Then I get an email of refund. No refund has been made yet and no bed! I’m furious! The link to this 3rd party shows my bed to be shipped and on its way so there’s so much concern and lack of communication with this company. No bed and no refund!     The inconsistency by BBB (actually Overstock) is a problem. The quality at times is great and they have some very well established brands, including now some Merch from the Container Store. That said, the better the brand the less the offer. Coupons are not valid and the return policy has to be the worst. The charge or fee is often more or at least half the value of the item. They discourage you to find another cheaper option by WARNING you it may affect your return. If you try to cancel they refuse and send you the product and if you RTS they will charge you the same fee. If you return, contact on phone customer service to negotiate. Do not accept a COUPON as a remand or discount. Go to UPS or FedEx and examine their Ground Rates that provide a tracking number but are by far better cost wise. I am done with BBB and I caution others to be very careful when purchasing an item.

    I ordered a large TV stand from Bed Bath and Beyond. It arrived in two boxes a day apart. The first box was missing a part and I was unable to complete putting it together. The second box arrived and the stand was damaged. I have called numerous times and finally I was told that it a third party seller and they will do nothing. They will only forward my request to the third party but unfortunately they do not and will not respond by email or phone call. I am told that Bed Bath and Beyond is unable to do anything about the sellers and I am just stuck with what I have. I am writing this to hopefully help others avoid the pain I am experiencing.

    I ordered a sofa from them back on December 1, 2024. During my order it showed that I would receive my Sofa on the 4th of December. When I did not see any tracking information or my product. I called customer service, she told me that it takes 3 business days before they ship items. On the app it kept saying processing. I called back on the 9th to see what was going on. The lady apologize and told me that my item was shipped and after 24 to 48 hours I will be able to see it on my app. Yesterday I called back and I was informed that they are out of stock and I need to cancel or wait till next month to see if they come back in stock.     I purchased a medicine cabinet. It clearly listed the width as 45.9 inches on the order form, and the item description. The space I had on the wall is 47.5 inches. The unit they sent is 48.8 inches. So it didn't fit and when I called them to return it they tried to charge me $85 for shipping. The customer service is sourced to another country so those people could do nothing to help. I had to file a complaint with the credit card company to resolve issue.     They put the capital T in terrible. I ordered a couch at the beginning of November and it arrived with missing parts! The couch looks a complete mess! I reached out to get the missing parts and was offered a $100 discount to keep the couch as is by the warehouse! Which was a lot of audacity, I was able to speak to another representative that finally stated their policy was to ship a replacement. My replacement order was started on November 30th and I have yet to receive a replacement! This order was regenerated several times by incompetent reps who clearly do NOT communicate with the warehouse. I paid $1200+ for this couch and have received piss poor customer service.

    I've had reps hang up on me, not return my phone calls and completely ignore this issue. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THEM! You will lose your money and be stuck with a piece of crap! They have ruined the holiday season for me, as my home looks terrible due to having incomplete furniture! Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to shop!

    I purchase the set VEIKOUS 35 in. H Warm White LED Ball Pop Up Ornament Christmas Holiday Yard Decoration (3-Piece). The description on the website said they were made of metal wrapped with double mesh material. When I received the items they also had faux fur material on them which is not for outdoor use. When I tried to return them they wanted me to pay over $20 for return shipping even though the website description was not accurate. Customer service refused to acknowledge this and said I have to pay because I "changed my mind" about the item. They were misleading in their description and it couldn't be used outdoors. The customer service has gone downhill with this company. I have ordered from them many times before they merged with Overstock and never had this issue. They are not Customer friendly.

    I bought a chair last December 2023, I had not noticed that I was automatically signed up as a member. This was a one time purchase. Today I got a charge on my Credit Card for 19 dollars, I called my Credit Card company as I suspected fraud, they told me that BBB charged a membership fee last year too. I went online with BBB and told them I never signed up for a membership program, and that I wanted to take my name off and get a credit for the charge today & last year. They said no, and that I couldn't cancel my membership. This is predatory, and should be a criminal offence. I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau and our local attorney general consumers affairs division.

    I purchased a rug from Bed Bath and Beyond. The rug looked great online.. however when I received it.. it looked worn and not as nice as the picture. I contacted them to return it and they made me pay $27 to ship it back to them because they say it was not damaged. I would not purchase from them again. Poor customer service.     I recently purchased a TV stand online but decided to return it without even opening the box due to personal reasons. I paid $118 out of pocket for the return shipping. However, I was only refunded $36 instead of the full $194. After inquiring, I was told it was a technical issue, and they promised to refund the remaining amount. A week later, I saw that only the $36 was processed again. I contacted customer care, and now they are saying they will reach out to the warehouse, which could take 1 to 4 business days. What my expectation was as I drop off the item at UPS, I would receive my full refund. The UPS labels were provided by Bed Bath & Beyond, but I paid for the return shipping myself. There was no fault on my part. Now they are still "investigating." So think before you purchase. This is my experience.

    The Distressed Moss Green Glazed Textured Ceramic Table Lamp was advertised as $136.34 with a 20% coupon. I clicked the coupon and it stated the price would be in my cart. However, BB&B took 20% off the "original" price of $151.49 so that instead of a final price of $109.07, the price is $121.19. The thing is, I had been watching that lamp. It was never $151.49. The price was $134. So that is fraud. Shame on Bed Bath & Beyond. Even if I wanted the lamp, I won't buy it now. I'll go somewhere else that is truthful about the price from the start.

    This company filed bankruptcy, taking customers hard earned money and tossing it away. All the outstanding gift cards they sold over many years pre-bankruptcy? No longer valid. Can you imagine the hundreds of thousands of dollars in unused gift cards that amounts to?! I personally have one for $250 - no longer valid, can’t be used.

    How dare a company take money from customers, blow it, mismanage it, then be forgiven through bankruptcy - and who pays that debt (taxpayers?)!!     We are installing closets in our grandson’s new home as a housewarming gift. We purchased various things for three closets such as units with drawers, etc. We ordered from Wayfair and Amazon with the items coming in less than two weeks and there was nothing missing and items were in great condition. Both drivers noted the damage. One said driver said it’s because the company uses too cheap of boxes. Anyway, upon opening, there was quite a bit of damage and several things missing. I immediately started a case number with them and it took quite a bit of time sending emails back and forth with pictures of everything including the unopened boxes.

    One of the cabinets they could not send replacement parts so they just sent a brand new cabinet. We were able to use parts out of it to make a complete unit. The other one (a different style) they found replacement parts in China and we just received them last night. The package was packed very tightly but upon opening, all three parts had damage. We are in a time crunch to finish the cabinets so my husband is going to have to try and make do with them. Needless to say, I will never order from them again. Apparently there is no quality control in their ** factories.

    I ordered this couch and never received it and they are refusing to give me money back or send me a replacement. They delivered it while I was at work, in the middle of the day in the middle of a walkway, not my front porch. No signature required and just left it there. By the time I got home it wasn’t there. I called immediately and they sent me on a wild goose chase with UPS and promised a refund after the investigation was complete. I called back after a 10!day investigation and they are now refusing to refund me or send me a replacement. Just like that I am out of $700 and can’t do anything about it. This place is the devil. Don’t waste your time or money.

    I ordered 2 items from Bed, Bath & Beyond. 1) Called Customer Service today and received a person in South Africa. Asked for someone in US and person said can't transfer, just keep calling until someone in US answers. 2) Both items are on sale and I asked for sale price since one item was received 3 days ago, and the other was "delayed" which he didn't know why. He said they cannot give sale price unless it is $900. He said I can get $20 coupon. Have no idea what he was talking about.

    3) Asked to cancel the delayed item and he said it will take 1-2 business days. I asked what happens if I receive the item before it is cancelled. I would have to pay to ship it back to BB&B. 4) I hung up disgusted and called again to receive another non-US person whom I could not understand and she said something about International line. BB&B has horrid customer service and bad business practices. Will never shop with them again. Consumers deserve better service for their money. Also filed a complaint with **.

    DO NOT order from this company. After my experience with them I have pretty much sworn off buying anything online. I purchased an item which cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $100. It was poorly made, and looked so chintzy, that I had to return it. Well, the cost to return ship, not to mention the hassle to navigate through this process, was unbelievable. The return shipping was about $15 for a package that might have weighed 8 oz.

They told me flat out that this item falls under “personal care” category and can’t be returned.     I purchased a wall unit and paid for assembly through Angi. The first "pro" arrived and said he was only allowed two hours to complete the job. Two days later, another "pro" came out and said he was only allotted an hour and a half to complete the job. Clearly, it was an all-day job for a minimum of at least one person. He did not finish and came back the next day to pick up his tools and said he was only paid for an hour and a half after spending several hours trying to complete the job and said he would not finish it because he was only paid for the hour and a half and didn't trust he would get paid. So, I was left with a half-completed job and pieces strewn all over my office.

    I contacted Angi and Bed, Bath and Beyond multiple times to try to resolve the situation and am still waiting for a refund or resolution to my problem after being told the case would be “escalated” several times. It’s been nearly a month and nothing has been resolved. Worst customer service experience ever. Not only was I disappointed with the customer service and "installation" process, I was also disappointed with the product's quality. I would think twice before ordering a large item such as this.

    One item was never received and a refund never issued. The other items, two sinks, were more than 30 days in return because my vanity had some huge delays in delivery and then the installer didn't get to it for a couple of weeks. When he finally did, the sinks didn't fit due to spacing of the drawers vs. the pluming. BBB refuses to take them back. Very wasteful and unsustainable. All they care about is selling you the item. Customer care just stopped responding to me. Not to mention that their prices are so inflated, it is laughable. Always search the items online and they will pop up on Amazon, Overstock, Wayfair and you name it, for sometimes half the price. I had a good experience once with them in returning an item they made a mistake in sending. After that it has been pulling teeth.

    Stay away from Bed Bath and Beyond online. This store is a total scam. They advertise as if they are selling you the item, but when you want to return it, you find out they actually sold it to you from a 3rd party Marketplace. And conveniently for them, the 3rd party Marketplace has a different return policy than Bed Bath and Beyond. When I explained to them that this is false advertising, that I think I have 30 days to return an item, I find out the 3rd party Marketplace has a policy of 15 days to return an item. How are you supposed to know that? They don't care and will not honor the return. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BED BATH AND BEYOND! IT'S A TOTAL SCAM!

    Infuriating. Banner ad at top of their website offered an extra, stackable 20% discount over and above their sale price, if you downloaded and ordered on their app. Stated terms were VERY clear. So I downloaded their app and the extra 20% discount over the sale price appeared in the app total. Super! But then, when I went to pay, the extra 20% disappeared. When I went to chat with customer care, the first guy said he understood, and would send me a coupon by email. He did, and the coupon didn't work. The second chat guy insisted that the extra 20% discount for Safavieh rugs could not be applied since they were "already discounted" - even though this directly contradicted the terms written clearly and succinctly on the banner ad on their page.

    So - they offer a discount, don't honor it, waste my time, then tell me my eyes are lying when I see the terms of the extra coupon very clearly. The chat reps (Nico and Drew) don't seem to be familiar with BBB's own special coupon terms for this brand's rugs, instead parroting back to me generic terms. And finally, there seems to be no way to escalate the issue. Bottom line: AVOID Bed Bath and Beyond. They trick you with terms that they don't intend to honor, and then, in their ignorance, tell you, the consumer, that you are wrong.

    I ordered 4 blinds from Bed Bath and Beyond. When I received them the color was different than what was shown on website. I returned them via UPS.     I want to thank the customer service. It was very effective, nice and polite. At first I was disappointed that I received a mattress with damaged surface (but it looks like it’s manufacturer’s fault, not BB & beyond, the packaging was fine), but I received a full refund.     Purchased two items, the first one arrived (a small rug) was not the color shown in the photo. I went to return it and they wanted me to pay $19.00 for a shipping label on a $20 item. My only other option is to find another way to ship it back. Obviously, I do not want the second half of this order - a couch cover. By now, wanted to cancel it...they say it is en route and I could not cancel. It's been "en route" for five days and not expected here for another three. Once it gets here I will likely need to return it as well, so I wait. The bottom line is this, the scam is in the shipping label. If you need to return something (and with online shopping, it happens) be ready to pay THEM for the return. Double the cost of the item. $19.00 to ship back a $20 item is absurd.

    I bought a $ 200 lamp and added insurance, noting that on the BBB order, the insurance contact 24/7 availability. The lamp shipped broken. I called to file an insurance claim and 2 separate BBB agents noted that the insurance offices were CLOSED on weekends. The wording of the insurance contract was clear, in writing, and I have the record. Dealing with the insurance company on their LIMITED Fraudulent HOURS, was a nightmare. The dispute took over 3 actual hours of discussions, on at least 5 separate days, over 3 WEEKS, and still did not generate a real insurance payment that I could make work. On the last call, and after 50 minutes, and 5:00 PM rolled around, the insurance agent said she would look into why their payment card was not working, THE NEXT DAY!!!! This is clear legal fraud. A class action suit is in order. BBB would do NOTHING to help resolve. BBB and its insurance SCAM should NEVER be trusted.

    Everybody that's complaining about this company needs to document this by reporting them to the feds and Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission. When companies like this are involve in fraud and schemes it has to be documented and reported. This is why they keep getting away with deceptive business practices. They are very unethical and rude, even hang up in your face when you call and are upset about your merchandise.     I ordered two items. I got notification tbh email that one item shipped and delivered to my door. I got that item. Then I called because I never received an email saying that the other half shipped. When I talked to them they told me it was delivered. And sent me picture proof of it being left in the mail room. Well the item is gone. No telling how long it been down there. I called to see how can I get this resolved, mind you I also paid extra for the package protection insurance.     Ordered a bathroom vanity. It was large and heavy. They shipped it via Ceva Logistics. There's no phone on their website and no way to contact them. They never notified me they were coming, showed up at 7:30 pm at night. Driver came to house and said he doesn't do these types of deliveries because he needed to drop it straight off.     I ordered a set of bar stools. After checking tracking info, I discovered it was stuck in transit. I notified BB&B and they couldn’t find tracking info either so they generated another order. I received my chairs and then got an alert that UPS delivered another set (the ones they couldn’t find originally). The order was not canceled like I was told and now they’re telling me that UPS would come back to get the pkg but we’ll be out of town for a couple of days. The operator said if we miss 3 attempts of delivery we will be responsible for returning the package ourselves and incur the charges.

    This was BB&B mistake and now we’re being forced to fix it. My husband and I are not young. I’m 62, 5’1 and I’m not able to lift that huge, heavy pkg. My husband either due to a bad back and knees after 30 yrs serving in the USAF. I’m a breast cancer survivor and trying to move a package that heavy could land me in the hosp. I’m beyond mad at this mistake they made. I usually shop at Wayfair and now I know why I do. I’ve never had such a mess over 2 barstools. I’ve emailed several times to explain their mistake and they don’t seem to understand. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. I will take my money elsewhere.

    I ordered two accent tables. Bed Bath & Beyond has the worst fulfillment I have ever seen. I received the first table. When I opened the box, the table was packed with a single layer of styrofoam on the bottom of the box and the tabletop was wrapped with a single strip of paper. It bounced around in shipment and the table top was broken. When I contacted them to return it, customer service wanted pictures of the item and the box. It was obvious they wanted to blame UPS. I just received the second accent table and it was packaged in exactly the same manner. The table was dirty and very scratched up. Their poor shipment practices are obviously systematic. Last time I ever do business with this company.

    Wish I would have read the other negative reviews before purchasing from this pathetic excuse for a company. Mind you, back in the day, when BBB had brick-and-mortar retail stores galore, this was a fantastic company. But now that they are (mostly) online, they are terrible--in both the quality of products and the customer service. I ordered more than $120 worth of product (a bedspread, and a higher-end down mattress topper). The mattress topper was SUPPOSED to be queen-sized, but when I put it on my queen-sized mattress, it was about 2" too short and 2" too narrow.

    Given that there is a BBB store less than one mile from me, I thought I could just return it there. WRONG. I have to send it via UPS--AND pay for both a shipping container AND the cost of return shipping. This cost came to JUST UNDER 50% of the cost of the item!!!! (This is clearly why they do not carry hardly any items in their stores anymore; they KNOW people will be unwilling to take a 50% loss on a bad product, and will just put up with a bad product. If the company executives (and I use the term loosely, as they clearly are clueless in the world of today's retail) think they are going to make money and stay afloat with these practices, they are delusional.)

    I hope this company goes belly-up again--this time for GOOD! And, if they keep up with their horrible product line and even worse customer service, they will. But, the execs won't care; they'll have golden parachutes that reward them for their shortsightedness and stupidity. Also.. they DO sell your info to their party vendors. I tried to go online for chat assistance, and before the chat bot will interact with you, you have to click "I acknowledge" that the contents of what you say in the chat will be shared with third-party vendors who can use your comments for marketing. So, in addition to being thieves on returns, they are also selling your data. Definitely a company desperate for money. They also want me to upload my receipt to add "verified buyer" to this review. Do they think I am THAT stupid?! If I do that, then THAT info will go to their third party data thieves.

    I went online because I was looking for a hallway runner. I saw a beautiful runner that would be great for my hallway. So I purchased it; a few days later I received the tracking information and it was delivered to Alexandria Virginia. I live in Chesapeake so I called your company and the young lady said that I would have to five days to reorder and they had to do an investigation. So I reordered and I received my tracking information and this time it went to Spotsavanne, Virginia. So I called back and the young man I spoke with said they would get this matter straight and reorder a third time this time the order went to someone in Louisiana. I requested my money back. I talked to two women and they couldn’t find out what the problem was and I was offered a in-house credit but I declined that because that item might end up in California.     I ordered a diamond shaped colorful rug and instead I received one which was mostly gray and white. They promised the correct rug after I returned the one they sent me. Because these rugs are packaged in plastic and was hard to remove I had to pay more than $31 for repackaging so that UPS could send the rug back. I was promised the colorful rug and all the photos they sent me had the colorful one. Even the email upon delivery included a photo of the colorful rug. Unfortunately once again the rug I was sent was black and white. When I called the company they indicated that they would contact the warehouse to see if the correct rug were available. If there were any doubt why not tell me so from the outset? Why send me several photos of a colorful rug if that rug never existed in the first place.?

    When I contacted the company I asked for a refund before I returned the second rug because I was afraid they would not reimburse me at all. Even though the company screwed up twice they were adamant about not reimbursing me until they received the second rug in return and I probably would have been forced to pay another $31 to UPS because the original packaging could never be reapplied. I believe this company is now fraudulent, dishonest and misrepresents their products. In the end I am keeping the rug they sent because it is not worth the aggravation of returning again. This company promises a product which at least in my case I believe does not exist. I hope they are investigated and eventually go out of business. Please do not purchase anything from them.

    The return policy at Bed Bath and Beyond is horrible. They are charging per item to return, despite being from the same order. The charge is $16 per label. Some of these item only cost $30. They do not make this clear in their return policy, they are taking advantage of the buyer and if this continues I suspect they will not be in business much longer.

    Bed Bath and Beyond online has poor quality furniture. There are hidden fees for returns of oversized items. I had to pay $400 to return items that I was extremely dissatisfied with.     I probably spent 2.5 hours of this day arguing with BB&B about the return of 4 drapery panels! I ordered the 4 panels which all came in a single package with four individually wrapped panels. I open one of the panels to see if it looked ok, however, I didn't like it so I proceeded to return the 4 panels. I went to my BB&B account to start a return. First of all, they wanted me to accept a store credit rather than making a return which I declined and proceeded to the return option. There was no option to make a return and add items to your return. I only had one order number and was forced to return each panel individually which caused me to have 4 SKU Codes for the UPS store. I took the package (the same neatly packed package that I received it in) with all four panels included in the one package. Because I had 4 SKU codes, I had to pay UPS Store to fix it and return as one package.

    Ok no big deal, it's gone and I wait for a refund to my original form of payment. Almost two weeks later they refunded $45.58 of my online purchase of $94.85. I called them today and asked where the rest of my refund was and they told me it cost $52.00 in shipping fees to send it back! I argued, asked to speak to his manager and he finally said they would return the rest of my refund and I hung up. Looked for my refund in my bank account several times today or even an email regarding the conversation, nothing.

    Got home from work and called about it again and got a different customer service rep who looked up my account and said my notes said I agreed to a store credit for the remainder of the owed balance! I never agreed to a store credit! More arguing ensued, I asked to speak to his manager, which never happened. Finally I see another refund to my original form of payment for 38.61. At least I got $84.19 refunded back for my original payment of $94.85, so I'm still out $10.66 but happy to have it over with! Jeez Louise, I will never order anything from BB&B again!!!

    I had a very bad experience with ordering online with Bed Bath & Beyond online. Sad that they closed their walk in stores, as their online customer service is very poor. I made an order for my daughter's college bedding and never received it. They would not investigate the issue therefore I had to contact USPS to find out the package was sent to a completely different address that I have no history of. They could not retrieve the package as that was BB&B sent them, but when I let BB&B know, they denied this. They sent me to their Extend shipping protection vendor, who then offered a debit to purchase something else from BB&B, but it is already too late as I had to order my daughter's bedding elsewhere. They will not provide me with a refund and I will never shop from them again.

My personal story, they sent me a fire pit cracked in 3 places and would not replace it. The first offered a coffee table and $50, then an end table then a mushroom table. None of which I want or need. Their “partner” could not replace the fire pit and offered $150 refund which I reluctantly accepted then they came back with our “partner” is only offering $100.     Some days ago I placed an order for a TV Stand and got a confirmation text and a tracking link. Several days later I checked and find that my order was cancelled. So I asked in the chat. The chat cannot do other than standard questions, so I asked to be connected to a real person and I was texting with a real person. He could only tell me that a specialty team cancelled my order and gave me a phone number and times. I waited on Saturday for the time he gave me, just to hear that they are only available Mo through Fr. Great. I went online again, and when you choose "contact us", an error message pops up. Great. So I looked up under general customer service and called that number. Now I learn that they cancelled my order because my Visa card was not US based. I asked why I was not notified.     I purchased chair slip covers from Bed Bath and Beyond. I received the product but needed to wait for my travel to Florida to try the chair covers at my Florida house. The chair covers did not fit my chairs, so when I sought to return the six chair covers they informed me I was beyond the 30 day return policy.     I bought a wooden bed with a trundle and insurance for the bed. I changed my mind and wanted to return it. I called several times to the customer service (no one resolved anything). I was told that the package needs to be delivered to start the return and refund. I took a week. I was so frustrated. Finally the piece arrived. I called customer service and asked for someone to come and picked it up. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU the return fee and you have to wait for the package to be delivered to their warehouse for them to process the return. I called to start the return.

    After several phone calls, the return was initiated and I was told the amount of the return, but when I received the text notification of the refund issued the amount was different! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIIS COMPANY to anybody. These are thieves. I called the insurance, I paid $16, to cancel the insurance and they wanted to give me a gift card for $16 dollars. They all are the same, thieves! This learning experience has taught me "No more business with these people".

    My wide made a big Halloween order. The day after it was supposed to arrive I checked tracking to find that it was damaged and sent back. A week or so after they received it back and not hearing anything we contacted chat support. They said they could ship the replacement in 7 days. What a horrible experience.     Stay away from this store. They provide misleading information about shipping dates and receiving dates. Once you place an order, even if it is not shipped it cannot be cancelled, even when it's their problem, e.g., the receiving date was incorrect! Rather order from Wayfair and Amazon.     At this point you are better shopping at wayfair, I have bought several items here and 2 times I received damaged items, they will make it your responsibility to return the damaged item or take weeks to months to pickup the damaged item, it's been a month now and I haven't gotten feedback even after sending pictures of the damaged item, I have record the lack of followup regarding my complaints, and they basically don't care because there's nothing you can do about it, but call them and complain.     Since their bankruptcy this company has gone to the bottom! First they sent me a broken $500 lamp too large to return I have to repair. Then They don't cancel an order I requested as they said they did because they don't understand english. They only canceled an item and I find out I have 2 orders out there I'm paying for. Each day I receive emails canceling items, so I'm inly getting half the matching set? Customer service does not understand you, You have to repeat your story in 5 or 10 different ways. Then they get rude or they hang up On you. They speak so fast you can't understand them, they don't understand you. Philippines and Africa. They lie, say they're going to get you the supervisor, then they trick you and won't. I will never order from them again.     Absolutely terrible experience with my kids' swing set that we ordered. I kept receiving emails that the item was delivered, but it wasn't. When I call to speak with somebody, they say that it has to be sent to the oversize team, but nobody has a number for them. They advised they'd get back to me in 24-48 hours, I received another email 1 week later saying it was delivered - but it wasn't. I ended up calling the freight delivery company and they told me they sent it back to Bed Bath Beyond warehouse! I asked for a refund, and again was told they would get back to me within 24-48 hours. We spent a lot of money to have a swing set for our children this summer and we are still just waiting with no swing set, and no refund to purchase somewhere else from a better company.

    No dimensions were provided for the bowls I ordered, but I took a chance because I'd purchased bowls by the same manufacturer -- Fitz and Floyd -- which were great. The latest bowls arrived and were more than twice the size of those previously purchased.     Two months ago, I received a gift card from my parents specifically from "Bed Bath & Beyond" to purchase items for my new apartment. As I finally can order to my new address, I type in the gift card information and it is invalid (the time is around 11:50 pm). I decided to call the number online and was answered immediately. I was asked how many digits the PIN# contained and was told that it was "no longer valid because a new company bought the name and the company went out of business", basically telling me that the money was liquidated.

    I told whoever responded to me that it was not fair that my money had been lost when I desperately needed help to buy these items. He kept repeating to me that he can't help. For a company that just bought a bankrupt company, why can't I be given a new gift card? The person on the phone was so rude and didn't care about my situation. He hung up on me when I asked for an email address to ask further what could be done. It was completely disrespectful and all I wanted was my money back to buy my furniture. I also think it's bizarre the gift card was bought two months ago when it's very clear the "name" was bought in mid-2023. I'd like to speak to someone that can help my situation because my family works hard and the fact that they have to lose their own money is beyond me.

    There are so many places to shop that offer no hassle, free returns, why shop at Bed Bath and Beyond, where they charge you (in some cases) the cost of the item to return it. We were staging our house for sale so I bought a bunch of stuff online from various companies to look at in my home. Everything went as planned, I ordered everything online and returned what didn't match my decor to all the appropriate stores... except Bed Bath and Beyond. When returning items, not only is it not free, I got charged separately for every item I returned even though I bought everything in one order AND even though everything fit in one smallish box. To add insult to injury, their return policy puts the blame on the buyer stating that the reason is buyer's remorse...wait, what!?     The product was defective. When I opened the box with chairs, one chair was damaged and the other the holes were not aligned so I couldn't put together the chair. I called Bed Bath and Beyond Customer Service and they informed me that they would ship out 2 replacement chairs, but it would take a while. A month later I called back in and was told they see my request, but nothing ever happened with it and they would try again. Then I received an email stating this product is no longer available and they would offer me $50 in store credit for a $1k table and chairs. Then I was told I could do a return, but I would need to take apart the table and other chairs and box it up and return it.

    It took me almost 2 hours to put together and I wouldn't have put together the rest of it if I wasn't told I would get replacements. I was then offered $180 in store credit and said I would prefer a full refund. You get a different person every time you email them, and they provide you a canned response. Last person offered me replacement chairs again and I was told to wait 4 business days, 6 business days later no response. When I asked about it, I was offered a $50 in store credit. It is a helpless circle of no customer service. Really frustrating product quality and the worst customer service I have ever seen.

    Ordered a washable rug and rug pad. Received the items and while the pad seemed of ok quality, the rug looked like something you might get in the dollar store. Very cheap materials. Bought a Yulika $1100 toilet and it was installed and checked by a professional plumber who can back and checked it 3 times but there is still a sewer like smell coming from it.     I wish I could rate them negative stars. My experience has been absolutely awful. I recently moved into a new apartment and ordered what i thought to be a lovely bed frame. My brother came to help me move and set the frame up all for us to realize the main part of the bed frame was missing. I’ve been sleeping on the floor for 4 weeks now. The part finally arrived today so my brother drove over 2 hours and guess what… It’s the wrong one, it’s way too long. (As seen in picture). Mind you, they are not willing to give any compensation.     Wow whatever happened to customer service, explains a lot. Ordered a rug, easy enough. Lol. 1st one completely wrong rug, called had to rewrap and was picked up by carrier. 2nd one comes damaged, big hole in wrap and back of carpet. Call them, should have went like this, yes MR. Customer we apologize would you like another rug or a refund for all your inconvenience? This is how it went. We file a complaint with the carrier. They will decide after they come out to look at the damage whether they will take the rug back and compensate you, they have ten days.

    On day 11 you can just dispose of the rug and we will process a refund after 3 to 5 more days. So Mr Customer how may we inconvenience you more today? So I got to drag 100lbs of rug into my garage that's now in my way. If the carrier wont take it, it becomes my problem. Terrible, just terrible. Never again with you people and I'll share with everyone.

    My parents, both now deceased, had 2 gift cards (one for $50 & one for $100) that BB&B won't honor. Their website states: "Bed Bath & Beyond gift cards never expire!" Then just a couple lines below, states: "We are not able to honor gift cards that were issued and unused. Gift card balances from preexisting digital and physical gift cards expired under previous Bed Bath & Beyond ownership." It would appear they do expire... I'm not sure how as the state of Massachusetts states that they can not expire any more than paper money can.

    I put in and order for an item that I needed by a specific date. The delivery date quoted was in plenty of time. At the last minute they notified me that the delivery would be delayed until a date that was too late. I spent hours on the phone with their outsourced “customer service” department in the Philippines. On top of the fact that it was very difficult to understand what they were saying, I got five completely different stories from five people in two hours. I was put on hold repeatedly. One was going to cancel the order but put me on hold and never came back. One said they couldn’t cancel the order and they couldn’t give me a refund. One said they couldn’t cancel the order but I could return in and then ask for a refund which would have been too late.

    The next person said they could cancel the order and get me a quicker refund, but they would have to call me back after they spoke to someone “onshore” who didn’t open until 11am. Apparently I’m not allowed to call the “onshore” people directly. Still waiting. Ordering from Bed Bath and Beyond was a huge mistake as now my event is spoiled. It will never happen again. I will support a company that has actual stores that I can go into and make my purchases so I don’t have to deal with anything like this again.

    Customer service representative hung up the phone on me because I refused to repeat myself a third time. When I called back to explain to another representative that the 20% coupon off entire order was visible prior to paying but was removed prior to charging my card, the representatives lied and stated sale items can't get a coupon sale also (proof of lie attached). I told them I duplicated my efforts and can screenshot it taking off both discounts and the rep ignored me and kept lying. I asked for a supervisor and she came back and said a supervisor won't speak to me because prices change at random and they can't control that. The prices never changed in an hour. The 20% coupon simply wasn't applied.

    The resolution was for me to charge the entire order again & hope the 1st order from an hour ago doesn't ship from the warehouse & gets canceled. The attachments show that a sale AND coupon can be together. All I wanted was a credit for the difference of est. $59. I definitely wasn't charging over $1000 twice without a guarantee of a cancelation.

    I paid over $1000.00 for furniture on June 23. It was to be delivered in 3-4 days. Called on July 1 to ask where it was. They put in another order number for it. They said if I did not receive it by July 5, to call and I could cancel. Called July 5 because the FedEx tracking says shipping label created but nothing has shipped. I was told that they would cancel the order but would not be able to send me an email indicating that the order is cancelled. What? The foreign "customer service" rep was rude. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she said her supervisor said she was in a long call and couldn't do anything more for me. The rep spoke over me and kept getting louder telling me that I accepted what she told me about the cancellation. This was a horrible experience. I see their rating of 1.2 stars and so get it.     We ordered a Lifetime play set. First delivery attempt, we received no notification and were not home. Second delivery attempt the driver said he couldn’t put it in our garage or even our driveway and he would be leaving it in the street. He said he didn’t have the right equipment and he could try to get it into driveway (that has a very slight slant) but if he couldn’t he would just leave it right in the street. My partner is a disabled veteran and I am 5’ tall and we wouldn’t be able to move it and couldn’t just leave it in street so we had to reject the delivery. All of these delays led into our move and we requested Bed, Bath and Beyond to re-deliver to our new address with the proper equipment to provide their curbside delivery (which by definition is NOT leaving it in a street which is against ordinances and unsafe)!

    After requesting and being told they would handle it, we’ve received no updates and even called the delivery subcontractor and they have received no approval to deliver to new address. It’s been nearly 2 weeks. This is a $3000+ play set and it just sits in limbo with no support from the company. I can’t believe how bad Bed, Bath and beyond has become. I will never order from them again nor will I bother with Overstock due to the affiliation.

    So I bought a showerhead. It costed me about 36 with shipping. It broke within a month so I sent it back in. I had to pay for a label which was an extra 10 and and extra 7 for a box so it ended up costing me about 50 with the label and shipping it back. I was expecting a full refund along with the label cost but no they refunded me 18$ of 50 which I spent for a showerhead that lasted me about a month. I will never shop there anymore. It's only online store now and I hope you go out of business.

    I ordered patio furniture but nowhere in their description was anything about the furniture coming in parts versus being delivered as pictured. The delivery was by UPS who refused to deliver it past the front door. It was too heavy for me to move and UPS wouldn't deliver the box of parts in a room or allow me to use their cart to move it into the room right inside the door.     Do not order anything from this company, I ordered outdoor storage box as a gift for someone on 6/19 and it stated I should receive it by 6/25, then it was changed to 6/29 but stayed as shipped and never picked up and when I called them (which I did a few times).     We purchased a Murphy bed from this site that was very poor quality. We ordered from Bed Bath and Beyond because they were one of our favorite stores when they had stores open. They had some of the best customer service out there. We bought the bed from them and the rest of the items for the additional room we had built from other companies. When the work was done we got the boxes with all of the things we got and set up the room. The bed was a disaster and can’t be used. Because they have a thirty day return policy they won’t even talk to you to discuss it was put together in sixty days because you were under construction. The product was junk and is now useless. Needless to say we will not buy another item from this company and strongly recommend you don’t either. If you get something poor quality you will be stuck with it.

    Never again. I ordered a patio set beginning of June and was told estimated arrival is 5 days. I was happy to see how this shipment was relatively fast! The date of delivery came and NO updates at all, called customer service 5X and was told that their partner/warehouse did not get the order slip and would re-issue another order and this should arrive in another week. Again. No update on shipment, no delivery. I finally called 3 weeks into this mess, only to be told the same, partner/warehouse has not received order slip, apologizing for the inconvenience and asked if I would like to re-issue a new order! This is how they think would solve the issue. How can you possibly work with a warehouse and not have a clear update on your items. If it is out of stock, be forthright and not waste the customer's precious time! Never again, now I am waiting for my refund!!!

They say the same scripted phrase over and over to me and nothing gets done. “We have escalated your ticket…. You will hear back in 1-4 business days and have your refund between 3-5 business days.” That was on June 10th. Thank goodness I do not work during the day because the amount of hours I have spent on the phone with this company with little resolution is ridiculous.. They sent me 8 chairs and 4 of them arrived broken. They sent me two chairs. They were delivered to separately to random houses in my city and were not going to replace or refund me because they said that they were delivered.     I bought a shoe armoire from Bed Bath and Beyond and it came unlike the description in both quality and assembly. It also came broken. The knobs don't fit into the cabinet. Assembly was difficult. And it didn't last a day before it fell apart. If you need an armoire, you need it to be sturdy but unfortunately the material is flimsy, so it was not able to hold anything without it falling. I don't recommend this product or this company. Additionally their customer service was pretty awful and would not even credit me. Unfortunately a business I will never buy from again.

    I bought a mattress from Bed, Bath & Beyond and, unfortunately, the product is crap. In addition to delivering the product a week late compared to the date informed at the time of purchase, I contacted them to inform that I was dissatisfied with the mattress and would like to exchange it for a more expensive, larger and better quality one. They simply replied that they could not do anything about it. I will make sure to chop the mattress up and throw it in the trash. And I will make a point of spreading the word in all possible environments so that future customers know exactly the type of after-sales and customer service quality that this company offers.     Order of Ovios 5 piece patio set - I cannot review the set as it hasn't arrived as scheduled. Contacted customer service about product notification stating it was shipped and scheduled to arrive today (6/15) and she was not only rude but when I asked to speak with a management person she connected me to a survey after a 5 minute hold. She contradicted herself many times stating that even though the notification said it was arriving today it wouldn't be and definitely not if I escalated things (really?) She then stated it was only "estimated" to arrive which it states in tiny writing at the bottom even though the initial info confirmed arrival as of a Saturday, June 15 arrival. Then she stated it hadn't even left the warehouse. Complete runaround.

    Now we are out seat for Father's Day and I could have bought the set for $75 more locally. Spoke with another agent this past week who was very pleasant and sympathetic but a week later, set has still not arrived. Partial delivery possibly today 6/21 and remaining delayed until next week. I thought I would give this Bed, Bath, Beyond/Overstock merger a try but probably not again.

    Let's start off with supervisor Michelle. Last name starts with a B in the pro. Department. Ordered an item a week later. It went on sale. I immediately contacted both via chat. And email with no response items ordered May 16th. Arrive to the house May 27th. Contacted them well before the price match change was up. They delayed responding back to me. Michelle calls me saying no I need to explain to you so you can understand very arrogantly and sarcastic like I don't know how to read English.

    Bed Bath & Beyond has definitely gone downhill. Now that overstock has taken over which I didn't even know about. That customer service reps are totally obnoxious, and they have lost my business.     I placed an order on April 19 for a rug that was delivered damaged and infested with mold and mildew. It arrived damp and smells strongly of mildew. On one side of the rug, there is a large amount of mold growing on the wool fibers and is badly stained. The rug looks horrific. I immediately reached out to The seller through their text support to open a case and was told that I would receive an answer within 4 business days. I even desperately tried to convey the urgency of the situation as I did not feel it was safe to have a mold-infested rug in my home. Since April, I have reached out to the seller through text, chat, email, and phone more than 10 times. Every single time, I was told by customer support that they are sorry I have not received a response yet, and that my case was being escalated so I would receive a response within 4 more days.

    I have shared photos of the damage and consistently checked in with the seller more than 10 times over the course of 2 months. Each of the 10+ times I have contacted customer support, they tell me to keep waiting. It all feels like a joke at this point. Bed, Bath, and Beyond is unwilling to resolve my issue and is simply jerking me around for as long as possible while I am storing a contaminated, mold-infested rug in my home. They do not seem to care at all that this is a safety hazard to me and my family. I've been urgently waiting for 2 months with no follow-up. They are clearly a completely dishonest and unethical business that sells damaged, filthy goods for high prices with no intention of rectifying their mistakes. It is absolutely ridiculous that they have failed to follow up or provide a resolution in two months for their shady business practices.

    I ordered 9x13 indoor/outdoor rugs 110.402-#**, never received the correct size. The customer service rep was unwilling to help or ask for a manager to get involved.     I bought a three-color bathrobe online, but when it arrived, it was very small and seemed made for teenagers. I tried to return it, but customer service said I'd be charged $29 per item because the return wasn't due to a defect, just not meeting my expectations.     If I could give a zero I would, the plastic rings to adjust the balloon curtains fall apart at the touch and the lace snags before I got it out of the plastic wrapping. I tried to get a replacement but I failed to ask within the 30 day policy. I was moving. Know this new company will not grant any exceptions to the 30 day policy even if the product they sell is a piece of crap. Sign me as very unsatisfied person who will never ever shop here again.     I ordered 3 large items. I got 2 if them in a timely manner. It's been 8 days and my kitchen chairs are still on a warehouse truck sitting there not heading to UPS yet. When you call customer service they just say, "We will get back within 1-4 days." Ridiculous! They don't have a direct line to the warehouse. I find that hard to believe. Curious to see if and when I will get them. I know I will not be ordering from them again. And the table I got has chips all over the legs. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

    I bought a piece of outdoor furniture (serving cart). It had several parts which did not line up and needed replacement. I first contacted the manufacturer and after providing all sorts of information never heard back from them. I contacted BB&B customer service and was offered a 20% off coupon for a future purchase. That was not acceptable and the representative assured me that if I will keep the item in lieu of returning it, the new parts would be shipped. Another email asked me to keep the item as-is for a 15.00 store credit. For a 200.00 item!! Awful customer service with no regard for keeping within the return policies offered online.     I have ordered three items in the last two weeks and only one item has arrived. I keep getting a "Delayed. Awaiting Tracking Message" on my orders. I want to cancel them but BBB won't let me because they say a label has already been created. But if a shipping label was created then there would be tracking with it. I finally gave up on one item and of course it arrived 2 days later. It never even had tracking assigned to it. Not sure if there is a software glitch, but I'm tired of being on hold with them trying to figure out where my products are.

    I purchased a bed from Bed Bath & Beyond. I did receive the shipment promptly however the first shipment was missing parts, and the wood was very warped. I did notify them, and they did send me another bed promptly. The directions on how to assemble the bed were wrong. I had to figure out how to assemble it myself. Most of the boards were not marked with a number. With warped boards the bed looks awful. Now I'm stuck with 2 beds which I do not want.

    Bought a clock from Bed Bath and Beyond. They sent the clock to the wrong address. They would not change the address or cancel the order. Bed Bath and Beyond would not call the supplier/shipper of the clock to change the address. Bed Bath and Beyond would not give me the name or phone number of the supplier so I could call and change the address. They told me to contact UPS and change the address on UPS's website.     I ordered an 8'x10' Jardina Metal Storage Shed in Sept of 2023, I received it in mid October. Winter came early and I never had a chance to assemble it until now. The boxes stayed inside my shop until now. I opened the first box only to find that 3 of the 4 metal panels needed for the "gable ends" were creased and dented. The box had no damage but the parts were. I asked customer service for replacements and they said it's past 30 days return policy. I don't want to return them I just want undamaged parts.
