I placed an order for 2 sets of placemats. Upon checkout, I was prompted to not use a post office box for delivery. I entered my street address, which gets FedEx and UPS, but does not have USPS delivery. It was sent USPS. I called and talked to a very nice representative, who even called her supervisor into the conversation. The supervisor said that if their system took the address, that it would be delivered. It wasn’t delivered, as I knew would occur. It was returned to sender, but I have not received any notification nor refund for their mistake. I will never shop here again.

I will never shop here again. I purchased a couch that looked really nice on the site. When it came in and I put it together, I started to notice the quality was very bad and I was missing items. The couch was delivered in 2 boxes. One box consisted of 2 boxes taped together to get everything to fit. It was also vacuum sealed. I did not like it at all after putting it together. I reached out to customer service to see how do I return it. They told me that I would have to vacuum seal the couch the way it came in order to return it. I thought it was a joke until they emailed me twice telling me to seal it back and ship it back to them. I do not know any one that has a vacuum sealer at home big enough to compact a couch. Worst experience ever.

Bed Bath and Beyond/ Overstock.com. Ordered 2 pairs of Deconovo Drapery but should have read the fine print. Drapery was nice but the silver foil decoration prohibits dry cleaning and/or washing in the machine. Can't imagine trying to wash these drapes by hand in a bath tub in hopes the foil would not come off. Returning these drapes was a nightmare. You have 30 days but the post office could not guarantee the drapes would get back within that time period. Sent them FedEx. $37.00 not refundable. Sent picture to web address containing Fed Ex receipt, order number, description of product, case number. Was sent 3 different e-mails requiring same info. I will never, never, never order from BB&B/ Overstock again.

Ordered a $500 sink, it arrived with an entire piece broken off. I had to have the contractor come out, only to arrive to a broken sink. When I called, they offered me no compensation for this huge inconvenience due to their lack of care. In addition, I had to lug this huge sink back in the car to get picked up by UPS. Their mistake caused me work/time/aggravation and this cheap company did nothing to make their mistake better. Won't be surprised if they are out of business in a year or 2. It won't let me upload a photo because image is too large, it says.

I wish I could give this place a zero. I ordered the dresser. The dresser comes in with no instructions whatsoever. I called the answer instructions to be mailed to me a month goes by yet to hear anything back or get anything in the mail so here I am stuck with a $300 dresser and pieces that I cannot put together and they could’ve paired less when I was blind into them that there were no instructions. I can see why they closed down all the stores

Would give zero stars if I could. First set of lamps I bought came damaged. I tried a different set that were pictured with a white shade but what came looks more lavender. I liked the base so I tried to order different shades from them. The ones pictured show gold metal on their site. The ones delivered were silver. They claimed that's because of studio lighting and refused responsibility for their false advertisement. They said I have to pay $44 each to return so now they can also have the $400 in lamps I bought back even if I told I have to pay nearly $100 to send those back too. Never ever again!

A part of my order was lost in the mail over a week ago. I've contacted support 3 times, and they still refuse to give me a refund. I am NEVER buying from these clowns again, and you shouldn't either.

I called to check on an order that I was given a delivery date for. I received only a part of my order. After waiting 10 minutes to speak with a rep, I was told the item was discontinued. I was never notified. I was given a partial refund, but not for the part that was now unnecessary without the main item. The rep was helpful but I wasn't satisfied with the manager offering a coupon for a future discount. Why should I spend more money to be compensated for their error. I will not be shopping here again.

If I could give no stars I would! I ordered a couch costing over $1200 dollars. UPS sends a picture of delivery of packages leaning against a wall with a door near. No apartment number can be read from the picture. So can’t confirm if it’s my apartment. They tell me to file C a complaint with UPS. I file a complaint, and UPS says it was delivered. Nothing they can do. I contact BED BATH & BEYOND. They tell me they have no protocol for this type of situation. So they can not refund my money or send another couch. That there is nothing they can do on their end. So I’m out of my money spent with them. I advise anyone ordering from them to not walk but run away from ordering from this company. They are scammers!

I would give no stars if it was possible. Discovered I bought the wrong clock within 3-hours of buying in online on a Sunday afternoon. I tried to cancel online with their webpage text. I was dropped by two different people. I called to cancel and I was told the order was already sent to the warehouse and they were not sure if they could cancel it. I received an email Monday evening telling me the clock had been shipped. I was now having to pay $24 to ship it back. So I’m to believe they couldn’t cancel the order with a simple computer entry. If I didn’t use their shipping label and pay the $24 they couldn’t guarantee they would receive it and would have to charge me to research the return. Do not purchase anything from this company.

Tried to cancel an order hours after I placed it and they refused. They are making me return it at my expense. And they their customer service dept didn't care. They said that since more than one hour passed their warehouse could not stop the order.

A word of caution: think twice before ordering from Bed Bath & Beyond. Even if you really like an item, it may be worth looking for it somewhere else. In my experience, their customer service process feels designed to stall, confuse, and frustrate customers until they eventually give up. I’ve dealt with a lot of companies over the years, and this has been one of the most difficult customer service experiences I’ve encountered.

Extremely disappointing experience. I received a desk with missing parts and was told it was “too late” to help — even though I offered to pay for replacements. I also paid extra for second-floor delivery and assembly of a wardrobe that was never properly delivered, and then my order was canceled without my authorization. No follow-up, no apology, and no accountability. Unfortunately, they’ve lost me as a customer.

I would only spend your hard earned money at Bed Bath and Beyond if you don't mind being scammed. I recently purchase a queen size murphy bed. Got my confirmation email that I paid for a queen. Only to receive a full size. Now I'm fighting to get a refund back to my original payment method. All's they want to do is give me credit to spend. I have asked 3 times for a certain amount. They responded "I'm only authorized to give you $." Every time I said, no I need $$$ they increase the amount. Also, know if you as to talk to someone you won't get a live person. I'm so disappointed!

I ordered a bedskirt from them in good faith, never expecting any issues. I received a twin-size when I was supposed to get a full-size. I returned the item using their shipping label (the charges for their label must be in the small print somewhere. I had already paid to have the item shipped to me. Buyer beware! They said they refunded me the difference for the purchase of their label, but unfortunately, the amount hasn't appeared on my bank account statement. And on their end, they are saying they refunded on 2/9/26. If you get the wrong item or an item different from what you ordered and want to return it, they will not only charge you shipping to receive that said wrong item, but will also charge you to return it! Very disappointing.

BUYER beware! Everything they complain about is TRUE! Customer service is horrendous. Return process is a NIGHTMARE. And items that seem to be in stock, are suddenly OUT of stock over a week after they take your money, they let you know, OOPS, you are getting NOTHING. It happened twice in the last 2 orders, so apparently this is the norm. They offered me 10% off my next purchase, but I won't be purchasing ever again!

I am very disappointed with the current customer service that I have received regarding order #**; I have purchased the Chunky Bunny Coma Inducer Oversized Comforter Set and absolutely love the comforter. However, it took me some time to place the comforter on my bed due to remodeling my bedroom. When I did place it on my bed and went to remove it for washing, I noticed the below seam is coming apart at the tag. You can see the comforter has never been washed by viewing the tag itself. I am being told that this item is outside of the return window and there is nothing Bed Bath & Beyond can do for me. I can fix the comforter, but I shouldn’t have to.
Since this is clearly a quality issue, I would think the 30-day return policy would be extended. When I initially reached out via chat, I was only 7 days outside of the return policy, I called customer service after this unresolved chat as well and opted to “keep my place in line” for a call back but never received one. So, I called customer service again today and waited online for 30 minutes for a representative. Still nothing they can do for me. I am a very busy individual and do not have time to be spending attempting to resolve this issue through so many different communication efforts. I will simply never purchase through Bed Bath & Beyond again. It saddens me regarding this lack of customer satisfaction, this is why businesses are not able to stay open in a world of online ordering.

I purchased a #jamesmartinvanities from #bedbathandbeyond less than a year ago. The paint is peeling off it and no one even lives in the house yet. Zero accountability from either company. Will be deleting my pro app and never purchasing from either company again! By the way, this vanity cost more than a used car!

I ordered a farmhouse fireplace for $392 in total on February 7 th. It took about four days to arrive. My husband opened the box to assemble it and the first piece he took out was broken in half. Upon further investigation it had several more damaged pieces. I immediately called bed bath and beyond and explained the situation. They started a return ticket on February 12 th. The UPS guy arrives about three days later to pick it up. It takes a few days to arrive back at the facility. On February 17 th I received an email that they only refunded me half of the total because it shows it was damaged. Well no shit you sent it to me damaged. So now I wait on hold for almost an hour because the lady says I should have received a full refund but then changed her story saying that it needs to be investigated again because it was damaged.
You sent me a damaged product and only want to refund half of what I paid. Absolutely not. I will never ever purchase anything from Bed Bath & Beyond. And word of mouth will get you no sales. And I will continue to call until I get my entire refund. This is theft on this company's part all day long. You sent me a aged item. I returned it and you kept my money for a product you received back.

The absolute WORST customer service ever! We found a bedroom nightstand on BedBathandBeyond.com. Needing a set – we ordered two (based on the on-line description). We received four!! - because unknown to ANYONE, each one unit ordered was two nightstands. Absolutely NOWHERE in any of the descriptions or details does it state this. When we tried to call - there was a one hour+ wait. So, although not our preference, we made contact via Customer Care CHAT.
Result: they need to check this with THEIR vendor because they don’t know either how this is sold!! Several days later, they confirm yes, this is sold as a set of two. So sorry; you may return what you didn’t want, but you must pay the HEFTY return freight charge even though it was BB&B’s error. EXTREMELY UNHAPPY!! And since these were shipped to us in separate boxes, they'll withhold double the amount from our refund. What a terrible way to do business; will never purchase from BB&B again!

I contacted Bed Bath and Beyond by message and was told returns are free of charge. The return policy is horrible. My $79 item cost me $30 in returns. Another item I have contacted them several times on is an item that expands when it opens. I do not have a box big enough to return it and contacted them to provide one.. They are giving me the runaround. I highly recommend you NOT shop Bed Bath and Beyond. More time and energy has been put into a simple return than is necessary. I rate the return policy less than 1.

I put an order online for couple items. When I attempted to pay online it was declined by my bank, I went to check my email if they say why it didn’t go through. On my bank account showed it was declined, no email to confirm, no email at all period. Couple days later I put another order and it went through and I got a confirmation email for that. In 4-5 days I saw two big boxes at my door and I found out they sent multiple items with first order without confirmation email or receipt. I called them to cancel and return all of it since my second order which was confirmed by email and receipt already was delivered.
I asked them, "If the order went through why I did not get any order confirmation email?" I asked them to cancel it. I was told they alalready shipped and I have to pay for return. I eventually agreed and they confirmed with email they they have received all the item and initiated the refund. Two weeks passes and no money in my account yet. I called them two more times (total calls so far 10 times, each time takes 30-40 minute). They keep telling me they have initiated the refund but no refund in my account yet. Nobody is responding to help. The worst customer service ever.

I found 2 items I wished to purchase and was notified that I could receive 25% off for installing app. I installed app, created my account and added the items. At checkout, discount was applied and tax was added. Fortunately I noticed the total was changed (25% discount removed) but no notice other than the change in amount. I called twice for support with hold times of over 30 minutes. The 3rd call later in the day was answered after 15 - 16 minutes. The associate first told me it was the tax added. I explained the coupon was removed between checkout and payment. She placed me on hold and said that is was because the item was on sale. I explained that it appears fraudulent to change a.total between checkout and payment without notification and that I will be deleting.the app and do not plan to purchase from BB&B in the future.

I used to love this store back when it had physical locations nationwide. I hadn’t purchased from them in years and was unaware that they had changed their business model. I recently received a poor-quality Christmas tablecloth set from Villeroy & Boch (or possibly a counterfeit). Three separate items were included in a single order and arrived together in one package. However, the store required that each item be returned individually, with return shipping paid separately for all three. Bottom line: I paid $45 to return an $89 purchase. I sent them 2 weeks ago, no refund yet. Please be aware. It is not what it used to be.

I purchased this Caribbean Joe Coastal 3PC Quilt Set on 1/21/26. In hindsight I should have researched this present status of this company prior to purchasing. Upon receiving the item, I found the 3 pc Quilt Set to be of very disappointing, unacceptable quality, unsatisfactory color representation, and appeared sub-standard workmanship from that represented in the marketing. I initially tried to make the return via their site, but called to reach the Support Center in Manila, Philippines, to make an effort to return the product immediately upon learning this item would cost $21.49 to return. Upon requesting to return the item, I was informed I would have to buy the return label for the amount of $21.49 to return the $55.49 item total for which I paid $6.99 for initial shipping to my residence. Clearly, there is something very wrong with this Bed Bath & Beyond return services.
I called and spoke to a “support representative” in Manila, Philippines but was only given excuses as to “why” I had to pay $21.49 to return an item that was only $6.99 to have shipped to me initially? I asked to have a manager return my call within the half hour to resolve the issue, [as I had already had been on hold for about 40 minutes prior to reaching the “support representative” or I would cancel my account and WILL NO LONGER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
No one cared enough about resolving this issue to return the call, so I followed through "unsubscribing" to everything I was able to unsubscribe to, as was unable to "Close" it down. Allegedly, and unfortunately for the consumer, there appears to be a deceptive return scenario in place, to which I do not choose to be any part. I WILL NEVER ORDER OR PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN. Product, Customer Service, Sales or Managerial Assistance did not meet my expectations.

Ordered a rug... Clearly states you can cancel within an hour. It also states that you can get price match if you find the same product cheaper. SCAM. These are all lies. Bed Bath and Beyond will lie to you on the phone, saying they can't cancel your order. Awful customer service. They won't do anything about it.

Awful customer service! Do not buy anything from here. I ordered 2 sets of chairs. The quality was horrible and there were several pieces missing. I called customer service because they charged me $70 to ship these items back. Why would I be charged for defective chairs? The customer service representative talked to her manager to see if there was something that could be done. She got back on the phone with me and told me that nothing could be done according to her manager. I would never have ordered anything from them if I had known this was the policy.
