I couldn't be more disappointed with ProFlowers.com. I ordered a bouquet to be sent to my mom on her birthday. My mom who appreciated the gesture sent me a photo saying, "I can't wait until they bloom." The bouquet that was delivered to her had 15 completely unopened flower buds. It literally does not have a single flower. I can't tell you how much I would recommend ANY other flower company. I understand that they will probably open up in a few days and may look fine, but that isn't what I paid for. I will say that I called and they refunded my money, but frankly I was more than happy to pay the $60 to give my mom a birthday present that she would enjoy. I wish so badly that I could attach the photo of what was advertised versus what she received because it is ridiculous.

I ordered flowers, through a Groupon, two weeks before they were to be delivered. I, too, did not see until order was placed that they are delivered by UPS. I wanted them delivered on a Friday because my daughter is home that day. Well, I was notified that there was a "delay" in the delivery and they would be delivered the next business day, which would be Monday. They would be dead by then. I was NOT given a complete refund. Only for the additional amount over and above the Groupon. NEVER WILL I USE PROFLOWERS AGAIN! I should have checked this site before I ordered!!! Many disappointed people!

Don’t make my mistake, be sure to read entire checkout page before placing order. I was not aware the flowers would be delivered in a box and by UPS (so tracking was: ‘out for delivery’ at 9 AM and next alert was ‘delivered’ at 5:48 PM). It’s not suitable for special occasions like anniversaries because my wife had to assemble her own flowers which ended up taking the experience of getting flowers away. The flowers turned out nice and I liked the convenience of ordering online. But in the end, it was 90 dollars spent to assemble flowers. Support your local florist please!

My boyfriend ordered me flowers and they sent them to me with the incorrect card. I got a 'happy bday' from 2 random strangers instead of the sweet anniversary note. Then they resent the card a week later and used a WHOLE EMPTY flower box for a postcard sized note, that is individually packaged in an envelope anyway! It is just such a waste of a lot of cardboard and cannot be good for the environment. This company needs to review some of its practices, specifically packaging and what is packed.

Found out very late that a cousin passed away. Ordered flowers for next day delivery to the funeral home around 1030 that night. Funeral service started at 10 am the next day (a Saturday). Got an email that said something like “our local florist has your order and will start on it right away”. All day Sat, never got a delivery confirmation. Tried calling customer service and got message saying “higher call volume than normal.” Still no delivery confirmation on Sunday. Was able to reach someone in customer service that said there was a problem with the order and the florist now needs a home address to send the flowers to.
To say I was furious is an understatement. The reason for this ** show is because I placed my order at night (and paid a premium for next day delivery, a weekend fee, and a service fee = $25 extra!), but the shop doesn’t open until 9 am, and the funeral service started at 10 am. WHY, WHY DID NO ONE CALL OR EMAIL OR SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THIS WHEN I TRIED TO PLACE MY ORDER, AFTER PLACING MY ORDER, OR THE NEXT ** MORNING when the shop opened?! I only found out about this because I called them. Inexcusable.
I am appalled and disgusted at the lack of customer service, transparency, and quality of everything. I will never ever again order through this place. God forbid any other future online flower orders go through the same local florist. Shame on all of you for being neglectful. Absolutely infuriating. Would give 0 stars if I could. ** THIS WEBSITE AND THAT FLORAL SHOP.

I wish he would stop using ProFlowers. He's had bad experiences in the past and stopped using them. But got good offer and thought he'd try again. Sent me 24 roses for my birthday. Three days later, they were wide open, drooping, brown edges, petals falling off. After three days!! He called them, they sent a replacement since they guarantee them for 7 days. Three days after receiving the replacement? Same thing. He's calling for a refund and will not use them ever again. It's over.

I recently ordered flowers to be delivered the next day to my wife. For some reason after I placed the order, I read the reviews of ProFlowers and was so concerned that I tried to cancel my order but it had already shipped. The next day I was pleasantly surprised when the flowers arrived even earlier than promised. They were of higher quality than what was advertised. The flowers are still beautiful to this day almost a week later. I give them a 5 and will surely use them again. Thank you ProFlowers.

I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday and when they were delivered I was very disappointed. Although the delivery went fine the flowers arrived half missing! Come on... However, I contacted the company through chat and right away they apologized and offered to send replacements. So this is the reason for 3 stars. Next time I'll just buy flowers and hand deliver them myself.

So when you pay over $100 you should at least expect the flowers you ordered. Nope. Instead of the FIJI GETAWAY - 12 STEMS OF HOT PINK GARDEN ROSES she received 24 roses that were multi colored. Later I found out they emailed me last min and mentioned something about the flowers not passing quality check so they sent different ones and they never do this apparently. I was refunded $20 on the spot for the inconvenience. However the vase I purchased wasn't in the box at all so it cancels out the inconvenience fee. So I decided to dispute through PayPal.
The reason why I didn't give them 1/5 stars is because my girlfriend really loved them and they came in at the perfect time. Which was enough to add 2 stars. But still when you pay $100 for an item you expect that item 100%. I should AT LEAST get 50% off for what I paid. I don't think I'll be using this company again because I wouldn't want this to happen to me again.

I ordered flowers for my wife for Mother's Day. I received them dead and moldy. I contacted ProFlowers and all I was given was a apology. That nothing can be done and they sent me a 25.00 gift code through email to give them another chance. No refund of any sort for the dead flowers. Against my better judgment I just tried to order flowers for my wife's B-Day. The flowers are on sale 50% off and with the code I figured that I will give it one more try. As soon as I added them to cart the price went from 50% off to full price. With that 25.00 code they gave me it turned out to be more than on sale. I called them and you guessed it. Nothing they can do. I will be supporting my local florist from now on. Save your money. Don't go with ProFlowers unless you want a big disappointment and they ship out nothing but trash.

I placed an online order to be delivered to my mother the day before her birthday to make sure she had them for her birthday. On her birthday, I received a strange email from ProFlowers thanking me for contacting them and indicating they issued a refund for a fraction of the cost of the flowers I purchased. Apparently, the order was damaged in shipment and would not be delivered on the day I requested, and further would not be delivered for another day or two. I contacted customer service and was transferred to reps outside of the US. They were extremely unhelpful. They refused to let me cancel the order and order a same day delivery, did not offer any suggestions to get the flowers to my mom and were basically rude. I will never use this company again.

I ordered flowers for a funeral I couldn't attend of a close friend of mine 4 days ago and was called 15 minutes before the service started saying they couldn't be delivered and if there was another address it could be sent to. I scheduled for it to be delivered by 10 am on today's date (9/13/18) since the service started at 11. I received a call saying it was not delivered because the florist came in at 9 am today (opening) and didn't have enough time. The thing I don't understand is if I placed this order well in advance why would they not go ahead and prepare for this early delivery especially during this time of grieving. I will not be purchasing from ProFlowers again and recommend you not to for important occasions.

This was my first and last time ever using a flower delivery service. I placed an order for flowers at around 10 am because it's the anniversary of my mother's death and wanted my grandparents to have something special. I paid for same day delivery. I waited all day until 6:30 pm and they still had not been delivered. I reached out and come to find out "they only have one florist in the area and your order was unable to be fulfilled." So I asked why I was the one that had to call and find this out. They said they weren't notified by the florist that they couldn't fulfill the order. Which is absolute bull.
This seems to be a common issue after reading all of these reviews. I was given the choice to pick something else out to have it be delivered tomorrow (supposedly) or cancel the order for a refund. Obviously I picked the refund. The whole point of ordering flowers for a specific day is to have them delivered that day. It was such a disappointment to trust a company with a service and have them epically fail on such a sad day already. I will NEVER use flower delivery again because this company CAN'T BE TRUSTED! Save your money people!!!

My most recent order, however, the flowers came and some were broken and it was nothing like the full, bright bouquet I ordered. I called ProFlowers to let them know and they offered me a few different options for how they could make up for this mistake. The representative apologized to me (a few times) and I felt the whole situation was handled quickly, professionally, and guaranteed that they keep my business. This is how good businesses run. I'm a business owner myself and nothing makes me happier than a big company really showing they value their customers. Mistakes happen for sure, but it's how they are handled that makes the difference.

Just like I now see everyone else has described, this is a HORRIBLE company to deal with. I saw a Groupon coupon for $30 worth of flowers for just $14 and I needed to order some flowers for a sick friend. Before I bought the coupon I went onto the ProFlowers.com website and found exactly what I wanted and put it into my cart. I went through ALL of the steps and even checked out, to the point where all I had left to do was enter any discount codes and my credit card info to pay. My order came to $44.98 and they showed that total in the invoice that the site presented, asking me to enter my payment details as the final step. I was ok buying the $14 Groupon deal that got me $30 towards the flowers and then paying the $14.98 left over amount, so I went ahead and bought the Groupon coupon. I went back into my flower order and applied the coupon code and then submitted all of my payment details to pay for the order.
It was only AFTER I submitted my payment info that I suddenly saw that the final price shot up to over $66.00. WHAT??? How can that be? How can they show one price, have you fill out ALL the details of the order, including payment info, and only then add in over $22 of undisclosed fees (taxes, handling, delivery, etc)?SO dishonest and shady. Really unethical business practices for sure. And now I read that everyone is also complaining that the flowers usually arrive late, if at all, and that they usually look beaten up and not like what they show online. So basically they rip you off and then send a bunch of crap. WHY does the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs allow this to continue with SO many complaints against them?
And I love how the banner at the top of the ProFlowers website boasts that they have "the highest customer satisfaction with online flower retailers for 4 years in a row, according to J.D. Power". I'm guessing that the J.D. Power they must be referring to is the owner's neighbor, or someone he knows with the same name as the reputable retail business ranking service (LOL), or HOW could JD Powers ignore the hundreds & hundreds of complaints and that ProFlowers has only a 1.5 star rating on almost every consumer feedback site I have seen? Everyone seems to pretty much agree that ProFlowers.com SUCKS!!!

I order the 100 count Peruvian flowers, gift card, and a small box of chocolates to my sister's birthday gift. Her birthday was on Monday, April 23, 2018. I asked that the flowers arrive on Friday, April 20th. I later learned that my sister was sick on her birthday, so I did not check on her until the following week. When I was finally able to talk with her after she got well, I asked her about the flowers. It turned out the Peruvian flowers were all pink - not all the different colors as shown on the photo at the website. Plus, the vase that I ordered was suppose to be a lavender purple (as shown on the photo). But, my sister said it was pink. I was a little disappointed as I wanted for her to have all kinds of different colored flowers. She was happy, nonetheless, but I just want to say that what a customer sees on the photo can be very deceiving to the customer. The flowers delivered may not look like the photo at all.

Not only was it late, but what arrived wasn't even close to the standard version in the pictures shown online. The vase was completely different and shorter than the card I sent. Even though I was able to get a refund, it ruined my whole intention of showing my appreciation for the love and support of the woman I'm lucky enough to call mom. I received email confirmation that my order was received and would be delivered on the day indicated. On Mother's Day my mom received 1 dozen roses, not the 2 I ordered. Then at 3pm I received an email from ProFlowers that stated "Your beautiful gift was just delivered... TWO DOZEN COLORFUL ROSES WITH FREE GLASS VASE". I was expecting I would receive 1/2 off my order because THEY made the mistake of sending my mom 1/2 the flowers I ordered her. But no! Instead I was given a WEAK excuse that the 2nd dozen roses that were to be shipped to my Mom "...failed to pass our quality requirements". And although ProFlowers was "terribly sorry for this change", and they promised to "take FULL responsibility", their idea of doing just that is what really pissed me off.
Here's what was said: "Please, let us begin making it up to you by refunding 25% of your item that was replaced on the order. A refund in the amount of $ 6.25 has been issued and will be processed 5 to 7 business days after your order has been delivered and charged." Wow! On April 24, 2018 I ordered 3 flower arrangements for a friend’s mom, my mom and my mother-in-law, to be delivered on Friday, May 11, 2018. My friend's mom’s flowers were delivered on Friday, May 11, 2018, but included a card that wasn’t from me, she had no idea who the flowers were from. My mother-in-law's flowers also showed up on Friday, May 11, 2018, however, her flowers were completely wilted, and there weren't even enough flowers to make the arrangement look like the one I purchased.
Then there are the flowers I ordered for my mother, which were also supposed to be delivered on Friday, May 11, 2018. Mind you my mom’s flowers were going to the same town as my mother-in-law's, just down the street from each other. My mother’s flowers somehow never ended up making onto the UPS truck in Ontario, CA on the morning of Friday, May 11, 2018. The tracking information on her flowers was updated to be delivered on Monday, May 14, 2018.
Well, at this point I was livid! I called ProFlowers and spoke with customer service representative, Kevin. Kevin apologized for the inconvenience and offered to have something nice of equal value delivered to my mother the next day, Saturday, May 12, 2018. He offered to send my mother, free of charge, 100 Blooms of Peruvian Lilies with chocolates, a spa kit and Bloom Refresh, which is another 100 Blooms to arrive 12 days later. This arrangement was so ugly, but I told him fine, just send it. Well, Saturday came and went, and my mother still had no Mother’s Day flowers. What a surprise, ProFlowers once again didn’t come through.
So on Monday, May 14, 2018 I received an email from ProFlowers letting me know that the delivery date on my mother’s original flower arrangement had been updated to be delivered on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. Besides the fact that my mother had to suddenly leave the state to attend to her father, I was now pissed that these flowers, which I knew had to be dead by now from the heat, were again delayed.
I immediately got on the phone, once again to ProFlowers and spoke to some woman who sounded like she was from Iran. She pretended to be in shock at the error upon error on each arrangement that I ordered. After this entire phone call, that I had to keep saying, “I’m sorry what did you say, I can’t understand you,” I received a refund for my mother and mother-in-law's flowers.
Tuesday, May 15, 2018 I receive the email from ProFlowers that mother’s flowers have been delivered. So I call my dad and say, “So I was just notified that mom’s dead flowers just arrived.” He was just opening the box as I called. He said the flowers themselves were very nice, but the stems were so rotten and smelled so bad that he had to throw them away! Please save yourself the trouble and just order from your local flower shop. At least this way you know what you’re getting, and that your order will arrive. Let’s band together and boycott ProFlowers and put them out of business!

Finally today I was able to chat with someone. Turns out the flowers never left the facility even though my account says delivery date of 05/13/18. I was told that I could get a refund or a replacement set of flowers with an upgrade. I asked for the flowers to be sent out and to give me a refund. Then I was told that since I ordered them with Florist Express that I had to call them for any refund. Not at the front door- not even near the front door. The driveway is not visible from inside the house. I did not find the box till Sunday afternoon. By then it had sat in the Florida sun for 24 hours and I am shocked it was not stolen. The flowers were near death. Not the fault of ProFlowers. The FedEx driver should be terminated. The flowers that finally did get to the correct address (brought to my mother by a friendly neighbor) were half-wilted and the incorrect type of flower mix. So disappointed - should have been a thoughtful Mother's Day bouquet and ended up being a hassle both for me and, more importantly, my mother. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. That didn’t help me since my Mother was leaving that day and would not receive them. I demanded a refund and told him I’d never use their company ever again!!! This is the worst floral company I have dealt with. I ordered a beautiful bouquet for my mom for Mother's Day. I ordered on Wednesday before Mother's Day and ProFlowers said they would get delivered on Thursday or Friday. It's Saturday and not delivered! They sent to FedEx. FedEx site says end of day Saturday (today). The tracking showed for 2 days that a label was created. That's all that's been done with this package. I called them and they said that it won't get there until next week. That's too late. That's not Mother's Day... as I was promised. The girl I spoke to said they can replace them for me. She looked it up and said they are no longer available. WTF! this is crazy! So I told her I wanted a full refund and I will never deal with them again! She confirmed the refund. Unbelievable! Please do not order from this company! Terrible!

I ordered flowers online from ProFlowers for our two daughters-in-law. One was to be delivered to Texas and the other to Kansas and requested delivery on Friday, May 11. I received tracking information for the flowers delivered to Texas and they were received on the date requested. However, I never received tracking information for the flowers to be delivered in Kansas and my PayPal payment was not processed. I tried calling customer service on Friday but gave up after waiting on hold for about 15 minutes and decided to email them instead. I called again Saturday morning after checking my email and finding no response from ProFlowers. I waited on the phone for about 30 minutes for someone in customer service to finally answer. I gave them the order # and asked why it looked like the order was not being processed.
After checking, the customer service rep said it appeared that the payment was not made so the flowers were never picked up for delivery, then didn't say anything else. So I asked what they were going to do about it and she asked me what I wanted them to do. When I asked what my options were, she put me on hold to speak to her supervisor, then came back and again said the order was not paid for so the flowers were never picked up for delivery. I told her the PayPal payment was still pending and just hadn't been finalized by them and asked again what they were going to do about it.
When she again replied "What do you want us to do? ", I asked her if they were going to process the order and if they would be delivered on Monday instead. She stated they had a backlog and it could be as late as Wednesday or Thursday before they were delivered. I told her to cancel the order and hung up, then went to my PayPal account and canceled the payment. I will NEVER order from ProFlowers again and do not recommend doing business with them. If there are problems with your order, don't expect customer service to provide any actual help.

The only plus about this business is that the plant I ordered was beautiful. This company is lacking in responsibility and customer service! My order was delivered without a card! So, the recipient had NO idea who the plant was from. No name anywhere! Not to mention the beautiful sympathy message I composed to go on a card with the plant was nowhere to be found! As a florist, half of their responsibility is the accompanying card/message! It’s not something that should be screwed up! So, I called customer service, who did nothing to help the matter except offer me a $5 refund (on an almost $60 purchase)! Haha. That doesn’t even cover the handling fee. When I asked to speak to a manager to find out how this could happen or why, the representative refused! She refused to let me speak to anyone else. So, needless to say I will not be doing business with ProFlowers again...

Hi, I am furious at this point! I'll start off by saying I'm the one to never write reviews. I ordered from this company not knowing the nightmare they are to work with. I ordered roses for my mother for Mother's Day, I asked them to be delivered on May 10, 2018, yes they were delivered on time but the wrong flowers! I ordered 2 dozen colorful roses and upgraded to a new vase. They sent my mother ugly half dead flowers with brown spots all over them. What an embarrassing moment for me when she sent me the picture of the awful product ProFlowers delivered.
I called ProFlowers and they keep giving me the runaround on my refund, I was asking Koy the lady I was speaking to at ProFlowers to send me a email confirmation that I will be getting my refund and she kept giving me stupid excuses on why the email and money would take a while to process. I think they're trying to send flowers so they don't have to refund my money. ProFlowers kept me on phone for over an hour and kept saying their manager was "busy" with other customers. This is unacceptable and I will never buy from them again. By the way they are trying to send me (replacement) the roses on the 23 of the month and I refuse to give my mother flowers after Mother's Day! I hope if you're reading this save yourself the trouble and order from your local florist.
*FYI flowers come in a box and the receiver is supposed to unbox the said flowers and put in vase themselves. Do NOT order from ProFlowers you will be disappointed! I will be taking this to the news channel and putting these people on blast because I've read the worse reviews on this company, never again will they have me or my family's business!

My mother-in-law lives off the beaten path so to speak, so it's very hard to get any deliveries to her home. Perfect answer, this year we'll get it delivered to her place of business! Ordered online what looked to be a beautiful Orchid to be delivered yesterday May 10th by noon, as she was leaving to go out of town for the weekend today. Paid for the expedited shipping and all the extra goodies. Got a notification yesterday morning that my orchid was in transit, kept checking all day and the location never moved. Didn't want to call to ruin the surprise.
Fast forward to today I get the delivery notification that it was delivered to her place of business TODAY, only one problem she's not there and won't be back until next week. Hence the reason I had a scheduled delivery of yesterday. I can only assume when she finally does get back to work next week after sitting in the Box all weekend I'm sure it will be wilted and dead. Only possible saving grace is after calling ProFlowers I am supposedly getting a refund. It took five times for me to explain what happened to the person on the phone, so we'll see if the refund actually processes.

Now I'm no fool, I know NOTHING is ever delivered as pictured on the internet... BUT... COME ON they sent WEEDS and "FORGOT" to box the chocolates!!
I called customer service and they gave me 3 options: 50% off coupon for my next order (Cause I'm going to order from them again, right???), replacement flowers (Great MORE weeds), A full Refund. (Of Course I chose this option, because nothing says "I love you mom" like a vase of fresh cut weeds for Mother's Day. This was my last $50 so now I have to wait for the refund to come through and explain this all to her, why she isn't getting something nice for Mother's Day!) Were in FL so clearly by the time they make their way back they’d probably be dead. So I called and all they could do was reorder them and get them to her by next Tuesday, two days after mother’s day. So that's completely pointless to me. Today is the 8th, 2 days after the order was made and still 5 days before delivery. I call ProFlowers to see if I can cancel this order. I don't care about a refund, I just don't want it delivered to their house. I explained why. They said there's NOTHING they can do because it's already been sent to the carrier for shipment, and this was from the supervisor. They said they couldn't contact the carrier or anything, even just to change the address to be sent somewhere ANYWHERE else.
I hang up and get on the phone with the carrier, only to find out they don't even have the tracking number in their system yet!!! And they said, even when they do get it in their system, they'd need to speak with ProFlowers about changing the address, not me, because I'm a "Third Party." Online floral companies like Proflowers are never worried about your special occasion. They want to take your money and make a profit. This company places coupons everywhere (Groupon, RetailMeNot, etc) that look like a good deal. I recently used a Groupon for $15 for $30 worth of flowers. I had a nice bouquet in my basket that was a 30% Easter special for about $35. I was taking that the arrangement would cost me only $20 ($15 for the Groupon and $5 additional). To my surprise, when I put in the $30 off Groupon coupon code, the price doubled. I assume you cannot combine offers although I never did find that in the small print. If it’s not there, they are breaking the law, but it might be hidden somewhere on their site (of course they don’t want you to see it, or you won’t buy the coupon).
I decided to proceed anyway because returning the Groupon and asking for my money back would be a hassle. Again, to my surprise when I checked out, they tacked on a bunch of fees, including a $15 preparation fee (there goes the entire discount) and an extra $10 fee for delivery on most days of the week. I had to send the arrangement 3 days early to save $10 on the “additional delivery fee.” They might be looking tough by then. The bouquet that I thought was going to cost me $5 extra ended up costing me about $45 extra bucks.
Guess what, $60 later, here comes a cheap looking $10 Dollar Store Bouquet. If you want to spend $60 on flowers, call a local florist and tell them what you want. You will get 3x more flowers, good customer service, and not be frustrated by a crooked company trying to nickel and dime you. PS - Proflowers will submit your order to a local florist anyway. They’ll keep that extra $40 for their own profit and have the same florist you would have called make up a $20 arrangement. This is a scam!! Don’t use it!

I ordered flowers for my grandmother for her birthday for a same day delivery and was billed and received confirmation that the item was available and would be shipped. Later that afternoon I received an email stating the item was out of stock and I should call or click on a link and email them. When attempting to do so they only cared about finding the lost information for my account which made no sense because you emailed me and should obviously have my info. It went from item not available to info was lost and the apology via email was the worst service I’ve ever had.
No call, no sincere apology, and I had to ask for a refund. Leave it to ProFlowers to ruin a special day for someone you care about. I’m sure it could have been an issue with the local business but maybe they should be smart about who they do service with! Never using them again as I have had issues in the past and tried giving them a second chance and it seems they can’t get it together.

I ordered flowers for a friend going through chemo. They were to be delivered to her front door on March 6, 2018. By 8pm that night, she still did not have them on her doorstep. Then I get an email letting me know the flowers had been delivered. I contacted my friend, and she confirmed the flowers were not on her front doorstep. Her driveway is about a quarter of a mile long. Instead of the FedEx truck driving up her driveway to the leave them at the front door, the FedEx driver decided to leave them on the side of the road, next to her mailbox. (Picture attached) The flowers could have easily been stolen.
I contacted customer service 3 times regarding this. I got a different customer service rep each time, who basically told me the same thing - just lip service hoping to satisfy me. Well, I was not satisfied, so I sent a picture of where the flowers were left. Still no response from ProFlowers. When ProFlowers advertise flowers will be delivered to the doorstep, that does not always happen. If the flowers had been stolen from the side of the road, I'm sure I would not have gotten any type of reimbursement. The prices are extremely high, especially the delivery charges. I have been a satisfied customer for several years, but I am no longer a satisfied customer. I will NOT use ProFlowers in the future. They truly do not care about customer satisfaction!

I placed an order for Saturday delivery expecting added shipping charges and was appalled that shipping cost was actually more than the cost of the product I ordered! In checking the status of my order expected today for delivery, I now fully understand why their shipping charges are so exorbitant... Apparently ProFlowers.com has zero knowledge of our 50 states or their proximity to one another. Geography lesson: The state of New Jersey is approx 80 miles away from the state of New York whereas the state of Kentucky is approx 680 miles away from the state of New Jersey and Kentucky is approx 700 miles away from New York.
Math Pop Quiz! Q: What is the mileage difference between the 2 routes NJ to KY and NJ to NY? A: Approx 600 miles difference. Note: This number excludes the added 700+ mile distance required to travel from Kentucky to New York, making the flower order I placed travel 1300 mi in excess. I could move on to discuss the impact this travel plan had on our economy (thou more so to my wallet) however it’s my express hope that whoever is reading my review comments has enough sense to understand stupidity even when worded satirically.

No one knocked or rang the doorbell but I did get an email confirming the delivery so I looked outside and they were set by the door. It was below freezing out but I figured they couldn't have been out there more than 5-10 minutes. They were nicely boxed but once I put them in the vase I could see them already wilting. After 24 hours they turned brown and within 2 days they were dead. While the roses themselves were not very expensive delivery was $20 extra (also a charge for handling). I was looking for a lively bouquet to brighten up my bedroom after surgery and picked out one with bright purple and pink blooms intermingled with each other. My first surprise was when the bouquet arrived as bulbs. The next day all the purple bulbs sprouted. It took another week for the pink ones to poke out, by then, the pretty purples were now brown and withered. Who puts together bulbs that don’t bloom together in a bouquet and sends them out in bulb form? Who advertises them as blooming together when it is biologically impossible? Can we say bait and switch?
They made a pretty bouquet with whatever flowers happened to be laying about. They have a secret send only bulbs policy, and no one cares how long it take different plants to go from bulb to full bloom. Thus, no one at ProFlowers has any frigging idea if their bulb only box of bulbs will ever look like the advertisement picture they shot of pretty handpicked flowers. Late on the 13th, another call to customer service revealed the flowers were never shipped. I was stuck scrambling looking for a local florist with a website that would deliver on the 14th. I was told I would not be charged for the original order that did not ship, and to order a replacement under this order number, (which I did to the tune of $173), and ProFlowers would refund my CC for the full amount. The latter never happened. As far as I'm concerned their "Customer Service Department" should be more appropriately named "Con Artist Department".
It's obvious their job is to get you to spend more money if they can, and avoid paying back any money at all costs. The only thing that saved me on the original order authorized with PayPal is that since they did not ship, they did not charge anything. I spent over an hour on the phone with customer service with three different reps. Their MO is the same. When the time comes to actually give you satisfaction, they ask for you to hold, and they transfer your call to the beginning of the queue as if you had just dialed in. Fast forward to Feb. 15th, and only eighteen roses were delivered; meaning that not only could they not get my order delivered in a timely fashion, but they also messed up the order from the get go. Imagine the embarrassment when not only did my wife not receive her flowers, but upon my explanation that I had ordered 36 roses for her, only 18 actually arrived. Lesson learned. I will now make sure to support the local florist from here on out as opposed to giving my money to a company where quality and urgency of service is obviously not a priority. Such a disappointment.
