The flowers were not delivered! Order was made 36 hours before expected delivery day! I received a message, that flowers were delivered! But call next day after delivery (after my sister-in-law birthday) I found out that she didn't receive any flowers!! ProFlowers wasn't able to send flower in urgent case after my complaint. So they are processing a refund. Even I had before one successful delivery after this case, I will never use their service again.

ProFlowers offers a wide variety of floral arrangements for all occasions. The flowers are always fresh and they usually last at least a week. Also look for special promo codes. The closer to a special holiday they have better offers just check on the delivery date shipping costs. Also Groupon has great specials up to 50% off! I order several times a year.

I ordered a Peace Lily that was to be delivered to the funeral of a dear friend's husband. I ordered 36 hours in advance (can't hardly order much sooner in the event of something as unplanned as a death) and I chose next day delivery so it would arrive before the 4 pm visitation. I got an email notification the EVENING of the visitation that it just left via FedEx and would arrive the NEXT day by end of day. WHAT? I paid $25 for shipping and it literally missed the entire funeral! He was buried by the time the funeral home got the plant. I am so embarrassed! They reimbursed me $23 but I still paid $40 for a plant that didn't arrive for its intended purpose. I'm not happy!! Horrible place - stay away!

Ordered flowers for my mom's birthday 5 days in advance. On the day of delivery, I was checking my emails waiting to receive confirmation that they had been delivered. Called a couple times for status updates. At 9 pm when the flowers still had not been delivered they realized my flowers had never been placed on the delivery truck and they could not get fresh flowers to me till 3 days later. I canceled my order and requested a refund. 3 days later they delivered my original flowers that were dead by the time they got to us. My mom loves flowers, and I was so excited to give her the beautiful ones I had ordered. I've attached a picture of what I ordered and what I received.

I ordered flowers to be delivered the same day which never got delivered, so they got delivered the next which were white roses that were browned. I never got the same day delivery fee. Plus when I called the next day after the bad quality of flowers that got delivered a day late. I called this company back and they informed me that they could not get in touch with the florist but they would send a message to come back and get them and to deliver some more, but my question was you can't even guarantee that this next arrangement will be any better plus what reputable business would send that kind of poor quality stuff in the first place?
This company clearly are just there to take the orders but have no close communication with these florist companies nor do they have any sympathy or empathy because they want to take the flowers back from the recipient and bring some more. How embarrassing is this. And if I wanted it to be delivered the next day I could have more for less money plus I used a Groupon so that's like 80 bucks for no same delivery and poor quality flowers as well as a incompetent customer service representatives.

Whatever you do, don't place an order with these guys. This past Monday (2/27) I placed an order with ProFlowers for delivery on Wednesday (3/1). The occasion was a birthday, so the delivery date is important. When Wednesday came around, I called late in the afternoon because they were not yet delivered. The person I spoke to on the phone said, "A florist had not yet been identified for the order." One would think 3 days to find a florist would be enough? I should have cancelled the order then. But, in light of a late delivery, they promised to send a larger bouquet at no additional cost. I decided to let them deliver.
Of course on Thursday at noon they were still not received. When I called again, the person I spoke to said, "They were out on delivery." Three hours later they were yet to be delivered. When I called a third time, they said, "The florist had the wrong delivery address. I asked what address they had, and she couldn't tell me. I asked why me or the recipient was not called to get the correct address? No answer was given. I asked for the name of the florist and they couldn't give it. When I told them I would cancel the order if she did not provide the florist name, she said, "They still couldn't give that information." So I cancelled the order. Shortly afterward I received an e-mail of the cancellation. Later in the evening, I received another e-mail claiming the flowers were delivered. Except they weren't. These guys suck. They can't be trusted.

The worst people ever. Called and they lied saying I will get the refund in 10 days and never got it. Don't deal with them ever again. Those thieves screwed up my Valentine and the girl I wanted to date now think low of me and never talked to me again. All because of them.

Seriously, I give up on this company. The first few times with mistakes and hidden charges and rude, long, slow customer service. I thought was just mishaps, not the case, it's every single time I make an order with them. I will never be ordering again from them. They make a mistake, they have me on hold forever, no one speaks English well there, they can never hear me on the phone, their phone quality is terrible, long wait times, no resolutions to ever any problem. They suck. And to top it off, their flowers sometimes don't make it on same day delivery even if you pay the extra money for it and the quality of the flowers suck. The people are so rude on top of that! So expensive!

Updated on 03/19/2017: They explained to me "no problem" "we will refund you". Three weeks go by and no refund. I called them to inquire and the ding dong operator apologized for not posting it. Bottom line, they are like a lot of companies out there hoping you forget. I finally got my refund but realized their game. Never again will I contact Pro Flowers. My advice. Stay away!!!

My husband ordered roses for me to be delivered on Valentine's Day. They were never delivered. I called Proflowers later that evening and after being transferred twice, I was told that since it was two minutes before the cut-off time for delivery and the flowers had not been received, credit would be reissued to my husband's card. It has been 10 days now and he still has not been reimbursed. This is the third time we used the service without success. The first time about three years ago, the flowers were delivered to a neighbor's home. Fortunately, I was able to track them down and got those. The second order was never received and we have no idea what happened to it. And this year nothing. Three strikes and you are out. We will never, EVER again order from Proflowers. We also plan to report this matter to the Better Business Bureau. Proflowers should be renamed NOflowers.

I ordered flowers to be delivered on a certain date. I paid extra for this service. I received an order confirmation & my credit card was charged. The flowers never arrived. I called ProFlowers to find out what was going on and was hung up on. When I called the second time, I was told the matter needed to be looked into and to expect a return call within 30 minutes. I never received a return call, even after days. My husband called, the third time, and was told the order was never placed. Please tell me how the order was never placed even though I received an order confirmation and my credit card was charged!!
These flowers were ordered for a special occasion and did not arrive until almost ONE week later AND not until my husband and I made multiple phone calls! And, I STILL GOT CHARGED FOR SAME DAY DELIVERY AND WEEKEND DELIVERY, even though the flowers were definitely NOT delivered the day I ordered them & the flowers were not delivered on a weekend! Also, you give them phone numbers in case of any problems, were the phone numbers used? NO! I guess ProFlowers would have just kept my money if I had no way to contact the person that was to receive the flowers. So much for a nice surprise for the person who was supposed to get the flowers. I guess the only surprise was that the flowers came almost a WEEK after they were supposed to!!!

On February 11, 2017; I ordered flowers from ProFlowers.com AKA Provide Commerce Inc. for Valentine's Day. I ordered Valentine's Day Frills Page: **. I picked the Valentine's Day Frills because I liked what I saw, it was a beautiful arrangement. I didn't find the ordering process easy, but soon realized I needed to actually select a vase, so I picked what I say in the pictured arrangement that I liked and placed my order.
I notified the complex I live in to be on the lookout and allow a floral delivery and arranged for the recipient to be on hand to accept this beautiful arrangement, personally. On Valentine's Day, a UPS truck left a "BOX" on the doorstep, which was simply set aside by the recipient, not knowing it was flowers for her. At 73, she just assumed it was something I ordered for the home and set it aside until I questioned if she got a delivery or not.
She told me of the box a few hours later and I told her what it was suppose to be. She had a difficult time opening the box and "ASSEMBLING" the flowers, which was a chore to unwrap, read instructions and put into the vase. Not what I intended for her to experience at all! Once unpacked and assemble, the finished product looked NOTHING like the Floral Arrangement I picked and expected to be delivered to my Valentine. The Actual Product Pictured is attached.
After the fact, I could not believe the flowers were shipped in a box and via UPS. I was expecting a hand delivery from a florist, where the flowers would be PROFESSIONALLY cut and arrange as was the case in the Floral Arrangement I picked and ordered online. Some of the flowers appear wilted; it appears half as full, not professionally arranged and no card which I took time to type. I wanted to give her a beautiful Floral Arrangement to enjoy on Valentine's Day. Instead, you sent her disappointing flowers she was expected to assemble. NOT what I wanted. I don't recall seeing that the flowers would be shipped in a box via UPS. I did revisit your website after the fact and found in small print that you ship the flowers in a box, as pictured in attached picture.
I DO NOT RECALL seeing, "Ships in custom ProFlowers packaging and gift box", when I placed the order, but it is clearly there now. Had you made this more clearly known to me, I would have not chosen to order flowers from ProFlowers.com. I wanted and thought I was ordering a real Floral Arrangement Experience from a Local Florist that would Personally Deliver a Professionally Done Floral Arrangement as Pictured Online.
Because of the long history of "Ordering Flowers", I believe that you should make it very clear that you are selling "Flowers in a Box" that require assembly and may be wilted, not floral arrangements by a florist that come complete and require only acceptance by the recipient. For my Valentine, while she won't admit it to me, this has been a disappointment to which she tried to make the best. For me, it has been an embarrassing experience that I hope to never repeat. I am a firm believer in standing up to "Bait and Switch" type sales practices. This, the reason I have taken time to write this letter. I will be sharing in other consumer reporting places that it might be helpful, such as consumer affairs, BBB, Yelp and Google. Disappointed Consumer.

Do you mind if they get left at the front desk..." are you serious??? After paying $70 for 10 flowers for them not to be hand delivered are you serious? So he offered to take off my shipping charge and deliver them tomorrow. It is now tomorrow and when I called he said he can't get in touch with the florist because he's probably not open. Almost 12 pm and the florist isn't open? These people have no idea what they are talking about. He told me hopefully they are still coming today and if I don't receive them by 4 call back. Ordered a dozen roses from ProFlowers.com for my wife on Valentine's Day. The costs as advertised was $29.00. Unfortunately this price did not include guaranteed delivery nor did it include the decorated vase. After selecting these and other options the cost was $82.00. The flowers arrived on time and I followed the instructions provided. The roses were somewhat wilted and did not recover after watering and feeding as stated in the instructions. The morning after delivery several of the roses were drooping. My daughter solved the problem by purchasing another dozen roses from a local big box department store ($14.00) and discarding the proflowers roses. The big box roses are delightful and seem to sparkle with age.

The dozen roses I received from ProFlowers were terrible. Not only were the stems misshaped but the leaves were half dead - the vase opening was way too large for the dozen roses and the arrangement didn't even contain a bit of greenery or filler. Very disappointing - we would never use ProFlowers again. Several roses were dead within 2-3 days and the rest never really opened up before they turned brown. They rip you off with the delivery & vase charges (you can get a nicer vase at the Dollar Store).

A month prior to Valentine's Day, I ordered 24 roses of different colors for Valentine's Day. They arrived on time. The roses were closed, just buds. I put them in water right away but as they started to open, they wilted instead. Yellows the first day, then the reds drooped. A single white rose remained alive after 4 days. The leaves were droopy from the start.
I complained and was offered a refund or replacement. I still needed to supply flowers to my loved one. Rather attempt roses, I selected an arrangement of iris and lilies. They are hardy and I hoped would arrive healthy. They arrived all tightly closed buds. After 3 days, the iris began opening. On the 5th day, the iris were starting to wilt and most of the lilies were still closed. Gradually, as the lilies opened, the rest of the iris wilted. No one would buy such an arrangement from a florist. If they are selling arrangements with two different varieties, they need to coordinate their opening better. The iris were beautiful. The lilies were beautiful, but not the spectacular variety shown in their website.

These flowers seemed perfect at first... Day two and they were already wilting. Regardless of the care you give them it just seems these "roses" aren't going to bloom. In fact it looks like they're suffering greatly. Very disappointing and slightly saddening. Someone wants to do nice things for someone else and it ends up being a terrible unforgettable experience. The person who bought these for me probably was better off buying me a ham sandwich and picking me a dandelion.

I used to love them, I really did. The flowers used to last for weeks, sometimes 3 1/2 weeks or so. And they would be just as pictured and my recipients would just rave about them, and my husband would use PF to send flowers to me and they were gorgeous. That was several years ago, but through the years, the quality has declined. A couple years ago my mother in law got a bouquet that made me so happy I lived on the other coast so I didn't have to face her to die of embarrassment face-to-face, it was THAT bad.
Another time, it just never showed. These are just a few of the fun times we've had with PF over the years, but the final straw is this year. My Valentines flowers were 4 days late and looked like they hadn't seen water in months. I've put them in food and water, but they still won't liven up and are as dry as bones. My husband and I have agreed, this was the final straw. I will call local florists and do business where I wish to send flowers from now on. Thanks, but no thanks PF. It used to be great, but whatever you've done, you need to undo it! Oh, and like all the other reviewers have mentioned, those sneaky charges are kind of crappy, especially to your loyal customers.

I paid extra for SAME DAY delivery for a birthday floral arrangement. After I ordered, I received an email stating that my order had been assigned to a local florist and that the next communication I received would be delivery confirmation. At the end of the day, no flowers had arrived. I called the 800 number, sat on hold for a while, and finally connected with an overseas call center. After putting me on hold forever, a woman told me (in difficult to understand English) that my order had never been assigned to a florist and wasn't being filled. She offered me an "upgrade" to have it delivered another day but no discount, etc. I told her that was unacceptable since I paid extra for same day delivery.
I then got cut off, called back and waited, and ended up speaking with a man named "Art" who said my order would be delivered by 6pm. I told him that was in 7 minutes. He said, "Well it can be delivered late." I said, "When?" He then said by 9pm. So which is it? 6pm or 9pm? It was obvious that he was just telling me a story to get me off the phone. So thanks for ruining my mom's birthday. Tomorrow I get to sit on the phone again, begging an overseas call center for a refund for their screw-up. Don't waste your time. This company stinks.

Send email going to deliver Feb 16 (I guess because it is Valentine month, or birthday month, it's ok to deliver when it is convenient for them). Tell them on Feb 15, cancel do not send. So they come Feb 16 at 3 pm. Told them I sent an email not to send it 2 days later. Now they want to charge a delivery fee??? My Mother-in-law sent us a lovely package from ProFlowers for our 40th anniversary. It contained dipped strawberries, a valentine vase and a dozen red roses. The strawberries were delicious, the vase was adorable and the roses were the saddest things that I have ever seen. While unwrapping the roses, many of the petals fell off as some were rotten and others looked as though they had been stored too long in the wrapping. The stems were short and weak and although I followed the directions to the letter, within three days all but one of the roses were dead. (I have worked for a florist in the past and can get most roses to last two weeks or more).
I called customer service and the person helping me could barely speak English; I am sure that the customer service dept. is sourced to another country. She couldn't look up my name, instead I had to rifle through the recycle for the box and find the order number. The process on the phone took over 15 minutes and she then said that she would send a shipping confirmation to the sender. Whaaat? Tell the sender that they sent you something of low quality? I insisted that she send the confirmation to us. It was bad enough that my husband's mother, living on a fixed income probably did without something to send us this gift and now she would get an e-mail telling her that it was sub-standard.
Three days later another shipment arrived and not surprisingly, when I unwrapped the roses over half of the leaves were off of the flowers as well as some of the petals. In addition, the roses were still of poor quality; short, skinny stems and low petal count. Some of the roses had less than 10 petals! In all of my experience with roses, I have never seen such pathetic looking flowers.
I do not see a confirmation in my e-mails which means that my request to not send confirmation to my Mother-in-law was ignored. Years ago my daughter sent me an arrangement from ProFlowers and it was of the same low quality; she ended up getting a refund. It is painfully obvious that they have not changed. I am surprised that they are still in business. If you want to send nice flowers to someone I strongly recommend that you use a florist.

You could tell the flowers were older than fresh cut (and I live in California, just a few hours from the flower farm these came from). Both the sender and I contacted ProFlowers and the following week they sent a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement roses were in worse shape than the first batch. I ordered flowers for my mother for Valentine's Day, and paid $20.00 additional to have them delivered on the special day, and on top of that another $30.00 to have them there by noon. That's $50.00 in shipping on top of the price of the flowers. They never arrived. When I called the customer service line I was told they were still at the UPS shipping facility. That was 5:00 PM on Valentine's Day. It is now the day after, and still nothing. They are a bait and switch company that cares nothing about the clients they serve. My note to ProFlowers, after I got 5 emails from them. "You guys stink. Stop sending me junk mail. I would never use you again." For 38 years, I picked up my own flowers for my wife on Valentine's Day. This year I felt bad, so I used ProFlowers: I ordered at 9:00 Monday the 13th, to be sure we got them early. They did not arrive. I paid for same day service. At about 7:00 pm I called the customer service line and got a woman, who knows where. She called the Florist and "Gee, the Florist couldn't be reached". I paid for same day delivery. At about 7:30pm I sent an email to ProFlowers, and of course it said, you would connect with me - you never did.
At 10:00 on Tuesday the 14th, I called. "Oh yes, they'll be delivered today, Valentine's Day, with an upgrade, because they did not make it Monday. I sent another email to their Customer Service. Of course no one ever called or emailed. Finally about 4:00pm the Flowers show. What a ripoff, it was a small selection, several flowers were broken, and some wilted. It looks like it sat in the delivery vehicle for hours. The card was wrong. I paid $90 total, I should have gone and got the flowers myself. I would NEVER use you again. It was a waste and a ripoff.

I call and tell them cancel the order, they're not necessary anymore. The guy tells me they'll reimburse me my money. I need to make arrangements to buy flowers etc before getting to her house at night which cost me another 60 bucks. The next day when my GF gets to work, the flowers are delivered and I'm charged. Why the ** did I get charged? Why was I charged for a guarantee when they weren't delivered within the guidelines? This is the most illegitimate business I've ever had to deal with. ProFlowers knows NOTHING about customer service. An order was placed (online) for a Valentine's Day delivery to my wife's office. The order was placed well in advance of this special day. The order was delivered by FedEx at 4:27 pm. The office closes at 4:30 pm. Hey ProFlowers, Valentine's Day flowers must be delivered early enough in the day to be admired, enjoyed and appreciated throughout the day... NOT THREE MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING! This is UNACCEPTABLE!
When I called customer service to complain... I was told that I did not request a morning delivery. When I placed the order, I did not see any option for a morning delivery or I most certainly would have selected that delivery time period. Customer Service personnel said it was my fault and refused to issue a refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told none were available. Hey ProFlowers, WRONG AGAIN!!! I was told that a supervisor would call me back within 10 minutes. SURPRISE, SURPRISE... NO CALL! ProFlowers doesn't give a damn about its customers. Frankly, ProFlowers Doesn't deserve customers!

He then ask to speak with a supervisor who then correct the address and repeated it over. It was confirmed order 4 days prior. On the day for delivery time of 12 pm my husband call around 1 pm. They told him they are sorry the delivery wasn't going to be there at 12 pm and it would be delivered at 5 pm. He verified the address again and everything seem correct. They even return the shipping cost of $15.00.
This time I'm getting off work at 5 pm. We waited around 5:30 pm outside the job trying to call them which took about 1/2 hr to get to a rep only to be hung up on and to repeated the call again to now speaking with a rep who verified the wrong address again. At this time the level of frustration was beyond being frustrated so we ask for our money back. But this is far too hurtful and honestly I would have been the happiest wife to ever first received flowers at my job. But all was taken from me. This company deserves no rating. I wanted to surprise my wife at work with personalized basket on Valentine's Day. So I picked out my item, the price seemed good, also 15% off coupon went through, and proceeded to check out. After completing my order I come to find out that there is a double fee for delivery. Keep in mind, I made an order four days prior the delivery date. Apparently they charge regular delivery fee ($9.99) plus express delivery fee ($14.99) on top of it, and don't provide an option to choose what delivery method you want. This is unheard of. I've done a lot of online shopping and this is the first time a business charges two separate delivery fees for the same item. Usually it's either one or the other.
I emailed them about this, thinking that maybe it was a mistake (giving them a benefit of a doubt), but they kept sending me their standard shipping policy, which still wouldn't explain why there are two delivery charges. After the third email they said, "Because it's a holiday we have to charge express to guarantee on-time delivery." Complete lack of effort to explain the situation. They kept telling me it's to keep my flowers fresh, however I did not order flowers. This goes to show you how much they really cared to look into my order.
Horrible customer service via emails, I haven't tried the phone yet. So I've decided to let it go, as long as my item would be delivered on time. They claim that for business deliveries it would be before 5 pm. I kept checking the tracking info, which only said "out for delivery." The item never came before my wife's office was closed. At about 9:30 pm I checked again and it said item was delivered at 9:26 pm and was left at the front door. Only there was no one to receive the package at that time. So much for the express delivery which they charged me $25 for! This is unacceptable! I will be canceling the order and requesting my money back. Valentine's Day surprise was ruined. Will never use this company again. Wish I've read reviews before giving them my business.

In the past, I've ordered from ProFlowers many times and been extremely satisfied, so based on those good experiences, I decided to order again. I wish I had read these ConsumerAffairs reviews before doing so - they are definitely not the company they used to be. There are 2 reasons I'll never be a ProFlowers customer again:
1) All of their customer service representatives are in the Philippines. A lot of companies do this of course, but none of the 3 representatives I spoke with in trying to resolve an order issue spoke English very well. When I asked to be transferred to someone in the US, they told me that they could not do that. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, none was available. Because of the trouble, one representative offered to discount my order but her English and comprehension was so bad that I just had to end the call.
2) The product is terrible. The flowers they send look NOTHING like the pictures on their website. The website pictures show full, beautiful bouquets - expect yours to look half of that size with flowers that look old - not the soon-to-bloom freshness that they promise. Many of the roses that I ordered were cut so short that they sat inside the top of the vase and left no room for stem cutting - which is what you're supposed to do to keep them fresh.
Do what I did - call them and demand a full refund. Like previous conversations with them, the language barrier was an issue but we got through it. They offered to send me more flowers but why would I want more of a bad product? I just held firm to my demand for a full refund and I got it. Hopefully you will too.

On top of it all they called my wife to tell her that my order was canceled. Why would you call the recipient? The customer service rep can barely speak English. Overall nightmare company.

I know that everyone else seems to have had a bad experience, but I just had an excellent experience with their customer service. I had mistakenly ordered flowers that I thought were only $25 (because the flowers were $20 and the vase was $5), but I didn't see all the fees associated with it that brought the total purchase to over $50 until AFTER I had paid. I hurriedly sent an e-mail, sure that it was already too late; but within a few hours, I had received an e-mail back stating that I was being refunded AND (because apparently it was too late to cancel the order), the flowers were still being shipped! It was incredibly nice of them, because this was two days before Valentine's Day, and I know they were so busy, so it was great to still receive a quick response and be refunded (for something that was MY mistake). Overall a great experience!

My husband ordered flowers for me for Valentine’s Day. The vase was shattered and the flowers were in bad shape. My husband called about the vase and the condition of the flowers. The customer service center is located in the Philippines. The employee gave a refund and offered to send a replacement implying there would be no charge for the replacement. The next day there was a $93 charge for an order of flowers. The original price was $52. A second phone call and a very long argument later they finally agreed to refund the second charge. Both charges are still on our account and will be for 5-7 business days. All of this for a gift that could be picked up down the street for about $20.

Not to mention the amount of the flowers were half the amount it said I would be receiving. Called immediately after arrival and was told they were sending me a new fresh order with the correct amount and was also being refunded my delivery charge which would take 5-7 business days to appear back on my account. Took a week for new order to arrive which was correct this time but never received my refund.
After 7th business day and calling 3 times I finally spoke to a manager "joe" who said the refund for delivery was never processed and now would be refunded my full amount and would take 3 business days. The thing is, you will never catch that because it keep telling you that they will take the discount when you order. Forget about the customer service; unless you want to spend ten minutes trying to spell your name or 7 times repeating confirmation number because they are not from the state so connection is so bad they can't hear you well. Since companies don't want to employ state customer service (I guess they can pay them close to nothing maybe lol); will never order again for sure.

Of course, you expect extra charges when ordering flowers. It's never "just" 19.99. We thought we got a good deal with nice flowers for $34. Total fee to deliver very close to our home: $58! Extra fees tacked on: handling and Monday delivery. These were added on top of a regular delivery fee ($12.99) and tax. What is special about Monday that ProFlowers collects $4.99? What extra "handling" is needed? These fees were *not obvious* from the web interface. Sent complaint letter to customer service, got a form reply that was nothing but a copy of shipping rate policies (which still did not mention "handling" costs). No actual words were sent to me addressing my complaint. Plenty of other companies to choose from, like 1-800-Flowers. Not cheap, but these bogus extra fees don't occur. You can recognize the full cost before you click "submit".

I thought my order would come to 30.00 with the delivery charge, I didn't see any other charges until I hit the submit button. I hit submit and my 30.00 order jumped to 47.63!!! It was too late for me to change anything, I had to call to cancel the order and that was a horrible experience, I couldn't understand the customer service rep and he clearly couldn't understand me! When we finally got it straight that I wanted to cancel the order, I was told that I would get my money refunded to my card in 5-7 business days!!! Unacceptable considering I didn't know that I was going to be charged the extra shipping fee and certainly didn't authorize it, but he told me that was all he could do.
I asked for a cancellation email and was told that they would send me one in 1-2 days... I have never felt like I was the victim of a scam until today! I wish I had read the reviews of "ProFlowers". I ordered flowers today on the site at 7:30pm, and realized that I was charged $56.62 and not $43.59. The reason I made the error was because the $43.59 was bolded and highlighted in green which lead me to believe that was the total $43.59. I didn't realize that I was charged $56.62 until after I had placed the order. I called ProFlowers at 7:35pm to cancel my order and was told that my order couldn't be canceled because the order had already been sent to the florist.
Are you kidding me, so you mean to tell me within less than 5 minutes my order was sent to the florist. They haven't even charged my credit card yet. So after going back and forth with the customer service rep, I was told that I should call back in 24 hours to cancel my order. However that makes no sense. I was placing a Valentine's order and upon bouncing back and forth to confirm delivery methods, the website kept changing the amounts that it had assigned to the specific dates (February 13th, February 14th etc.). They will not show you the final pricing until you enter your Credit Card information, at which point (I think) they are hoping that you are already committed to whatever price they reveal. I had added two $35 items, and was prepared for the "the worst case scenario" being around $100. The final reveal was $129 with 6 additional line items. Four of those were somehow just for delivery, then they added "Care and Handling" (Which is inexplicably not included in the first 4 delivery items), and then they still add taxes at the end. So yeah, a medium-sized teddy bear and a medium flower/vase for $129. I did not submit the order, and I tried to toggle the delivery methods, but it was of no use. This site is a hustle for sure.

It is bad form to complain to the giver, and complaining the PF Corp I have discovered is a waste of my time. I made the HUGE mistake of ordering from this company (I didn't see this website - UGH!) AND I ordered two of the SAME arrangements being delivered in two different states. I upgraded to the largest arrangement (premium) which was close to a $60 arrangement. I had to pay a $14.99 fee for delivery on a weekend... And also another $5.99 fee for one that was delivered the same day and also on a weekend ($20 extra to deliver - eeek there goes that savings they brag about). The first arrangement arrived in my state to a friend and looked like 40% of the flowers weren't even there - no spray roses, no filler flowers. I called ProFlowers and they offered to pick it up and give me a $10 refund. That would be silly - as the recipient wasn't complaining and I didn't want to inconvenience her as she was sick (hence the flowers).
I let ProFlowers know I ordered the same arrangement in the second state for delivery a couple days later and asked that they make sure the florist follows the list of flowers that are in the arrangement - they said they can't call them because they haven't made a mistake yet and that's pre-judging a completely different company in another state? Well guess what... I just made a trip to my friend's house for the celebration and saw the arrangement and it looked WORSE than the first one that was delivered locally. There were literally only 8 flowers in the whole thing. Really? $75 total for 8 flowers? This place is a complete rip off.
STAY AWAY and don't waste your time. I found WAY better arrangements at our local grocery store. I will be sure to tell all my friends to avoid this place like the plague. All they do is offer to fix only the people who catch them and offer to give them $10 and then fix it "if caught" - inconveniencing the recipient by picking the old arrangement up first? I placed the order and the discount was not applied so I immediately called their 800 customer service number. I explained what had happened and was told it would take 7 days for the discount to be applied, I explained I had just placed the order 2 minutes ago, went round and round with the customer service rep and I finally said I'll just cancel the order, now I'm told it will take 7 days to get my money back! She then tells me my credit card was not yet charged but still is claiming it will take 7 days to see the credit on my account. Then I received an email the day BEFORE her birthday saying the flowers had been picked up and were on their way to be delivered. I thought, WOW, they'll probably get there on her birthday in the morning, which really made me happy as I wanted her to enjoy the bouquet all day. Again, she's 86! I don't know how many more of these special days she'll have.
I didn't pay much attention to it after that thinking that if the flowers were picked up in the city where she lives A FULL DAY IN ADVANCE, there should be no problem. I should have read the reviews on this site first. Her birthday came and went and I didn't receive any confirmation that the gift was delivered. But I thought maybe they just don't send a confirmation, so wasn't worried. But then the day AFTER her birthday, I get an email from ProFlowers that says they just delivered it! A day late! After I paid all that money to have it delivered on time for this special day. I have more than one son who uses ProFlowers and I thought that was something that customer service should know so I called and spoke to Shawn. He kept saying he could read me the message and I said that was not the point. He kept talking about your privacy policy. I did not know who to thank for the gift. He could not understand why it was important to know who sent the flowers to me.
I called back and spoke to Rolian and he said about the same thing. Neither rep could understand why that is important for the recipient to know. He kept talking about the privacy policy and that this is a busy time of the year. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said none was available. I asked to have one call me and he said I should call back later and hope a supervisor would be available. A female supervisor finally came on the line and she said her name was Sam. No one spoke to seemed to think this was important. I will tell my son not to use ProFlowers again. I spent considerable time selecting a holiday flower arrangement, and the experience of ordering through ProFlowers has been very disappointing. Not to mention, time spent calling customer service to investigate shipping charges associated with my order. The following shipping charges were not disclosed until I was asked to hit the confirm order button. Shipping, $14.99, Rush Delivery, $4.99, Care and Handling, $2.99.
The site asked that I select an order date and nowhere was it disclosed that certain dates were considered rush dates. I phoned customer service and they agreed to reverse the rush shipping of $4.99, however as I paid through Paypal (a preferred ProFlowers payment merchant) they were unable to support return of the rush shipping fee due to a third-party payment system. Upon confirmation my order, I was given the option to select a link advertising $15.00 shipping rebate. The shipping rebate was only good if I signed up for a 30-day free trial with another company, Freeshipping.com. The companies ordering process lack credibility. My $38.00 order after shipping became $59.00.

Now, I'm not an expert, so whether it's because the flowers are cut to order, or they give them a little blast of food when they pack them, it is good to see flowers that look out of the box fresh for so much longer than those I got from anywhere else. Nothing I've gotten from local retailers has lasted this long. It's easy - go to website, look up arrangements by purpose, scroll through and pick what you want. I have been using ProFlowers for years. I recently ordered a Thanksgiving centerpiece and a flower bouquet at the same time. Both items were going to my home to be delivered on the same day. When I got to checkout I found that there were two separate and distinct delivery charges, one for each item. That made no sense to me whatsoever. One order, one delivery charge, never had I seen where you are charged per item as a separate delivery charge. I contacted ProFlowers and was told that dipped berries, fruit baskets and other gourmet gifts come from different locations, are not packed together thus necessitating separate delivery charges. I informed them that I was not ordering, dipped berries, fruit baskets or other gourmet gifts but flowers.
I received another email after voicing my complaint once again in another email and was told that each item incurs their own shipping costs even though going to one address and was basically told there is nothing we can do about that. I also had told them they could remove my name from their email lists which they said they would do and that it would take ten days. WOW!!! Great customer service. Thank you. You lost a good customer and could care less. The incident #s I received from ProFlowers is in the order box number. There are two.

I placed an order for same day delivery, and paid the extra fee. I received an immediate confirmation email confirming my delivery date. Almost a full 24 hours later I called to follow up. I was told that they could not find a florist that was open on Sunday. I was very upset since at this point they had taken my money. The rep I had spoke to put me on hold for ten minutes and then came back and told me that he was able to find a florist after all and promised that they would be delivered. When I called back a couple hours later I was told by another Rep that there was a mistake and that my sister would not be receiving her birthday bouquet. This Rep apologized profusely, and even called my sister to accept blame on behalf of the company. She told me that she would make it right and refund the extra delivery charge for the weekend, and throw in some strawberries.
I called the next day to track my delivery only to be told that they were not able to locate a florist who could make my particular arrangement. REALLY?!. At this point I was over it. I told them that I wanted to cancel my order and I expected a full refund for $98.93. I explained to them that I had used a non-reloadable CC. They sent me to their "floral refund expert", and after being on hold for 32 minutes I was hung up on. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB for theft. I wish I would have looked up their reviews prior to giving them my money!

Word to the wise... Don't ever use Pro-Flowers, if you want a floral arrangement to arrive to your mother on her first anniversary, without your father. I should have known better, should have ordered local. I just liked the arrangement I saw. If you do use them, prepare to have your order not even ship on the date it was promised to be delivered, have the money pulled out of your account before it even shipped, get to speak to Kimberly in Customer Service in South America, who repeatedly assured me she knew exactly how I felt, when she had no idea how badly I feel and there was no manager on shift to speak to and there wouldn't be, and then get to speak to Matthew in Corporate, who was lovely in terms of a difficult situation.
He's perfect for call center work with lovely manners, appropriate empathy and soothing voice, but the most he could do was put through a request to refund my money. Sorry guys Eileen **, Zerbe and Jim ** for messing up and sorry Flowers by Jennie ** for not using you like I normally do. I'm not thinking clearly. So I went on ProFlowers.com to buy a flower arrangement for someone's birthday and have had nothing but a bad experience. I did wait for the last minute to order BUT according to the ProFlowers delivery calendar, they supposedly had same day delivery for an additional cost. I found the arrangement that fit the occasion and proceeded with the checkout also adding a greeting card for an additional 4.99. I placed the order 10/22/2016 at 11:30 am Eastern time understanding to my knowledge that with paying an additional 14.99 for express shipping, the recipient would receive it later that day. Seemed reasonable for such short notice so I follow through with the checkout and come to find out that not only did they charge 14.99 for standard service Shipping, they also charged 4.99 for "weekend" service and another 4.99 for "Saturday" same day service, a total of 25.00.
I continue with the checkout and pay a total of 74.85 between flowers and service fees assuming that they would arrive today. It is now 9:35 pm and the recipient has not received anything. After waiting all day to give them the benefit of the doubt, I called customer service at 7:30 pm and spoke to a representative that said "I will get in touch with the florist to find out the status of your order and I will call you back." Knowing they're not going to call because it's already so late and I'm sure the flower shop is closed and they don't deliver on Sunday. I waited another hour and called again and they gave me the same response.
So I said I would just like a refund and don't need the flowers anymore if they're not going to be there today. Why pay the extra fees for shipping if they're not going to be there when needed. He replied "well we have to wait to see what the florist says and then we can proceed with the refund." So now I have to wait until Monday to find out whether or not they're going to deliver the flowers or give me a refund. Not happy with this experience and not happy with the customer service at all.

I closed out that order, without ever seeing any sort of 'confirm here' page. Opened a new order confirming just the 'small', and proceeded thru PayPal. Discovered the next day that three orders were shipped, each with a 'handling' fee of $15, even though to same address. Three levels of customer service later, with the obvious error in front of her, 'Dilencia' held the line at pennies on the dollar off only the 'unwanted' two orders, nothing off the 'handling' fee. $50 off a total of $180, representing $120 worth of shipments I never intended. "We see what you were trying to do," she said, "but that is the best we can do."
I told her she should be ashamed of profiting on an error, and she remained silent, the sound of other complaining customers in the background. Just going to call local florists and with them directly and it will be cheaper because ProFlowers won't have to take their cut.

I ordered this for my mother's birthday since she lives 8 hours away and I hardly ever have a chance to visit. They looked stunning on the online pictures and they came with free chocolates so I figured I'd give them a try. I should have looked online and read the reviews but it didn't cross my mind. Big mistake, from now on I will do my research or purchase items at local stores where I can view it in person especially for special occasions. These flowers are something you send to an ex lover showing your dying love for them just how these flowers are dying as soon as they arrive.

I ordered "TWO DOZEN RED ROSES WITH RUBY VASE, CHOCOLATES & BEAR" for my wife's birthday. She received the arrangement by FedEx. The box was damaged, there were only 12 ugly roses, instead of 24, the chocolates were melted. I thought it was going to be a nice arrangement as showed on their website, but my wife got a sorry arrangement. The roses were dead by the 3rd day. I called them and they were like "OH well we will refund you your money." Receiving the money back was the least they could have done, since we didn't get what we ordered.
I was VERY disappointed at the merchandise, the service and their customer service that handle my complaint were VERY rude and short. They just don't care for their customers. They just want to get the money up front and hope for the best. I will never again be ordering from them. I strongly recommend you to look at other companies before settling for this horrible service. Have a great day!

Arrangement was smaller than stated. Not much effort put in to it. We were out of town when we needed to order flowers and were unable to order from our local floral store. The first and last time we use ProFlowers nor would we recommend them.

I wrote to them for a refund. I got no response. I delivered to my wife's job. It came on a fedex box which is fine but nothing was sprouting. My wife was so embarrassed she hid them under the desk and brought them home. I paid 70 for 49 flowers due to taxes and delivery fee. I won't speak much but the pictures will explain.

The delivery of my mom's birthday flowers was scheduled for Friday, however they did not arrive until Monday, at which time they were wilted and pathetic looking. How embarrassing to have your mom receive such a horribly looking gift on her special day?! I had a problem a couple years ago with the delivery driver leaving an order of flowers on the porch in the dead of winter (in Minnesota!) - needless to say they were ruined as well. Thought I'd give them another chance to see if it was a one off occurrence - boy how I wished I'd have read reviews before placing this final order!!! I will NOT be using them again, ever, and I will NOT recommend them to anyone.

I ordered my Mother flowers for her birthday. I paid for the Sat delivery and when I called my mom again at 8:30 pm and she had not received them, I called to complain only to be told they will arrive at 11:59 pm Sat night. I am not sure why they would be deliver that late and when asked, they said they do not have contact with UPS and it is out of their hands.
After I not so politely told them that I do not pay UPS I paid them to make sure my Mother had flowers on her bday. They refunded half of my money and said they would send out another set of flowers. Well where did my original ones go since it was now Sunday afternoon and they had not shown up? Again I call just to be hung up on by a lady named Denise. Call back and was told they'd be there Sunday night and the other batch will be in Az Tuesday. I just received a message from my mom at 9:34 on MONDAY!! Said she received her wilted flowers.
Are you kidding me right now. You took my Sat fee, never delivered them when they were suppose to, was lied to more than once about when they would arrive and now she gets them and they are nearly dead. This is the worst company, overly priced flowers. I will make sure NO ONE orders from this ** company ever again. Thanks for making sure my mom did not receive flowers on her bday, had I been in the same state I would have gotten them somewhere else... Way to screw up!!!

I recently ordered what was pictured as a beautiful pink Azalea bush in a white ceramic/glass planter/vase for the funeral. It was the mother of a close friend I've had since childhood and I loved the idea of her taking this bush out of the planter, putting it in the yard, and thinking of her mother every time she looked at it. When I went to the funeral it was nowhere in sight so I started taking notice trying to find it. At this point I was worried that my plant hadn't been shipped at all. When I finally found what was sent with my card I couldn't believe my eyes. It was a small basket, barely larger than the small box of tissues sitting next to it, with some mixed plants in it, nothing she would be removing and planting in her yard that would have her thinking of her mom for years to come and certainly nothing I would have picked if it had been offered in the first place.
To say I was mad would be an understatement but more than that I was disappointed because of how much I knew the plant would have meant to my friend. I called ProFlowers the next day and after speaking with several people the best they could do for me was a 40% refund. All I really wanted was for them to send the Azalea to her but since the funeral was already over they wouldn't send it because it would have been a change of address.
Now I'm out the 60% of the original price for the hideous arrangement they sent plus the shipping and service charges (they weren't going to refund any of that) and the amount it's going to cost me to go buy a bush for my friend because that's what I wanted her to have in the first place and ProFlowers took that opportunity away. I know they are sometimes forced to make substitutions but this wasn't even close to comparable in style, size, price range, or color. Needless to say, I will never order from ProFlowers again.

They call to ask to delay the delivery. They say they need to find a local florist (does that tell you something). Their accent is not understandable, but the tone is really snide. You are obliged to repeat details on your order over and over again while they write it all down again (even though this is supposed to be online). They misunderstand you and you have to repeat details, or they doubt that your billing address is what you say it is. This is the first time out of ten orders that I have had this experience having to talk with them. They don't seem to have any kind of empathy, express any kind of sorry about the delay on their part. All this makes me very concerned about the quality of the delivery and what will transpire, adding to the stress with regard to my relative in the hospital. Also, you wonder whether any of your personal information which is stored in multiple places (online and in their country database) is secure.

I will NEVER order from ProFlowers again. First and last time. My mom is a breast cancer survivor and loves calla lilies, so for Mother's Day I ordered an item advertised as "Pink Calla Lily for Mom" or something like that. It was specifically described and pictured as a PINK calla lily, and I paid extra for a basket with a PINK bow, also as pictured. She received a YELLOW calla lily in the pink bow basket, which completely defeated my purpose for sending her a symbolic pink flowering plant. She also said FedEx laid the package on its side when they knocked on her door briefly and left without waiting for an answer. The plant was permanently drooped over to one side as if it had been on its side for quite some time. FedEx is not at fault. They are not a floral delivery service.
If ProFlowers used a specialized floral delivery service this would never have happened. I emailed ProFlowers expressing my disappointment and included the order number in the subject line and text. They emailed back stating they couldn't identify the order, then proceeded to ask for the address to which it was sent, was it in the United States, etc. Infuriating. I responded rather irately. I received another response apologizing for the mix-up. They offered to send another plant or refund my $70. I chose the refund and never heard from them again. I checked my credit card statement for the refund. Nothing. The only positive to this story is the plant seems to have righted itself under my mom's tender loving care. Yay Mom. Bad ProFlowers.

ProFlowers is the most awful company I've ever had the misfortune to order from. I used to order from them all the time with great experiences until recently when I ordered a mother's day bouquet and the flowers arrived wilted and some were broken off. I tried to contact them multiple times to request a refund and NEVER got a response. Thankfully I had Google Support who tried to contact them on my behalf to get a refund. Google Support was able to get in contact with ProFlowers and they promised to refund my account. However, I didn't a refund. I've checked my accounts multiple times and have not seen a refund. I am truly disappointed with ProFlowers. I thought they were an upstanding company who stood by their refund policy but obviously they do not. I would discourage others from using ProFlowers.

The last 2 times in a row that I've ordered from ProFlowers I've been disappointed! Once it was for an anniversary gift and paid extra to have it delivered on that special day, but it came a day early. They refunded the extra amount I paid and didn't seem very sorry or concerned. Then, I ordered flowers for my Mom's birthday that were specifically picked out because they said "BEYOND BLUE BOUQUET" which had a pretty dark blue glass vase. I didn't choose this arrangement for the flowers, but for the dark blue vase because she collects dark blue glass.
When it was about 3:00 pm I called concerned that they hadn't been delivered yet. They put me on hold and said they would call the local florist, came back on the line and said there was no answer and that they could deliver them the next day. I didn't want them delivered the next day because that was not her bday. I asked if I could get the number of the local florist they were using so I could continue to try and call to reach them. Then I was told that they couldn't give out that information. Like it was a huge secret!!!
I decided to call back about 5:00 pm. They then put me on hold called the local florist, and came back on the line and said the florist denied the order. I asked for everything to just be canceled. They sent me to a manager and the manager did the same thing, put me on hold and called the local florist. She said they have until 8:00 pm to make the delivery, and if it didn't happen they would deliver the next day. My Mom finally got the delivery (local florist was not local, was about an hour away), and the type of flowers and vase were correct but the color was purple instead of blue!!! It may seem like a minor thing, but the whole point was the blue vase to add to her collection! See picture of correct arrangement and vase, and what she actually received attached.

Flowers as received were not what I ordered (all just buds). Some opened up, by the time the rest started to open the first ones were dying. Took pictures throughout process, sent to customer service, pretty much ignored. Tried to call: sat on hold for 20 minutes then the call was disconnected. Emailed customer service 3 time with no response. Finally called my credit card company and had them dispute the charge. Only then did I get a response. Been trying to work with customer service through email. They do respond but it's as if they don't really read the message. They might answer the first question (the first sentence) but then totally ignore everything after that. I get anything over one sentence exceeds their attention span. Overall they don't seem to actually care.

Long story very short, I was set into motion picking my flowers, spending time on setting up the sale for flowers intended for my sister on her birthday. The sale ended up being double what I was originally quoted based on all the fees and hidden costs. There are several hundred complaints on this site however, they don't reach the consumer until AFTER the ripoff. These type of complaints should automatically set off a tripwire with a department of the government that would protect consumers? Is this socialist? :P Anyhow, obviously, don't buy from these people.

I ordered some really pretty sunflowers to be delivered to a friend of mine today because it was her birthday and she has a very bright personality. First thing this morning she sent me a picture of some pink roses and white lilies in a coffee mug. Although the arrangement was pretty it was worth at the very least $20 less than what I'd purchased. Luckily my friend didn't just send me a thank you text. She had sent the pic. So I called the company and they did send out the correct arrangement immediately. When I got home and told my husband he said, "I'll bet they make a ton of money sending out less expensive arrangements." So I looked on here. From the looks of others reviews it sounds like that is the scam. Also after reading some of these I feel super lucky that at least the arrangements had live flowers in them.

I purchased flowers for a friend of mine and my mother for Mother's Day. First when the orders arrived I realized they were nothing like what I had ordered. Between the two I spent over $150 so needless to say I was upset about receiving the wrong flowers. I called to complain and they apologized and said they would send the correct flowers at no additional cost. So today 5/17 both orders arrived. The first, instead of 16 pink Tulips and 16 deep blue Irises she received 13 half dead and wilted tulips. Talk about a slap in the face!
I called my mom and asked for a picture of the ones she received since she is 1200 miles away and I could not see for myself. What do you know, once again the wrong order. She was supposed to get 12 pink roses along with a variety of other flowers and fillers. What she got was 7 rough looking roses and a couple of pieces of fillers. I called once again to complain and the only service that was satisfactory was after a bit of haggling they refunded my money for both orders. I thought this was a reputable company but after the service and condition of the flowers I am very disappointed and will NEVER use this company again. I wish I could show pictures of the replacement orders to show what kind of slap in the face I got.

I've recently ordered/purchased a floral arrangement from ProFlowers to be sent to my Stepmother who had recently undergone surgery for breast cancer. I had reviewed many different arrangements and finally found one that seemed full and beautiful, full of purple flowers, her favorite color. Not only did I upgrade to a deluxe version of this bouquet, I needed them to arrive in two days. Needless to say a poor excuse for a "deluxe purple" bouquet arrived to her house on Saturday. There was a sparse amount of flowers and none of which were purple. Images below will show why I would have such dissatisfaction with this company.
I did try to contact them directly for some kind of apology for this embarrassing display of flowers, which was meant to be caring and a get well wish for a sick relative, with no response from them at all. Glad I spent so much money to only be returned with garbage, and not even enough common courtesy to show some kind of remorse for their lack of care.
