Received an email today offering "Free" standard delivery for Valentine's flowers with order of $29.00 or more. I made a 39.00 order and when I confirmed I was charged $25 for shipping. I immediately called the "help" number and was told the order had already been processed and to call back after I received the flowers. I told them I wanted to cancel the complete order then. The person spent 20 minutes trying to find my order after I gave them the order #. I asked to speak to someone with ProFlowers and he said he couldn't. Stay away from ProFlowers.

While on business travels I ordered a Valentine's Day arrangement, not a special on ad, but nicer flowers that would hopefully last a long time. My wife called in tears and sent a picture of freezer burnt, wilted, colorless weeds in a pot. I was on hold for 14 minutes when I first called ProFlowers about the situation. I told "Jasmine" about the issue and she said she could "authorize" a replacement arrangement to be shipped in 3 days. I told her I wanted my money back. I was placed in hold again. After 20 minutes I hung up and called back. The person that answered eventually got me to a "manager" who finally agreed to give me my money back. The words "sorry" or "apologize" never came from any of the poor service representatives I spoke to...the worst experience ever with an online service!!

I ordered flowers for my girlfriend, and during the process I realized that the discounts and specials that ProFlowers advertised in my email and on their website, are offset by ridiculously exorbitant charges for shipping, handling, and a host of other nickel-and-dime charges that took my $39.99 purchase (which was supposed to have an additional $15 discount) up to a total charge of $54. In other words, the deal was advertised as $24 but the final price actually doubled that.

I tried calling their customer service number, and after 10 minutes of trying to understand the poor woman who was clearly reading from a script and a non-native English speaker I asked to speak with someone else. I stayed on hold for a few minutes before giving up. I would respect the company if they would just say upfront, "The items you want are going to cost you fifty bucks." But all of this faux deal BuSiness makes me not want to do business with them. Buyer beware. Deals aren't really deals with ProFlowers.

I was almost scammed by ProFlowers on February 8, 2016. I purchased flowers to be delivered to my wife for Valentines Day after hearing their advertisement on the radio. "Put in promotion code 4545 and get flowers on Valentines day for $19.99" is what I heard from the DJ. After going to the website and finalizing my purchase there was an additional delivery fee and some taxes, nothing out of the ordinary, my $19.99 flowers became $38.00 flowers, and I was ok with that. Then I look at my credit card statement and it states that I owe ProFlowers $52.99.

Outraged, I pull up a copy of my invoice to see that they charged me with a special Valentines day delivery fee, to "guarantee that my flowers will be delivered on Valentines day." Here's what really pisses me off, $52.99 for flowers to be delivered to my house on Valentines day is a fair price, and if they disclosed that during my purchase, I might of paid it. But to sneak that in my bill, thinking that consumers are going to be too lazy to argue the charge is fraud in my book. I am very disappointed and I hope ProFlowers changes their business ethics soon.

They said they would before they would process the order and payment. Well, they didn't. I called the next day. They said that because it was two items that's why there is two shipping charges. They are making money of the shipping cost. I've ordered things before that had multiple pieces and only one shipping charge. They are rip offs scam artists. Hell, my order hasn't even been shipped yet they tell you that it will be 5-7 business days to get your money back. 100% guarantee my ass.

I have a CF number which does NOT register with the Company also on the paper. A fake, farce, debacle and cheat outfit who do not deserve the consumers they get!!! I ordered the Deeply devoted arrangement for my husband. It was a single rose in a red vase with a little bit of greenery. The price for this single rose arrangement was $29.99. Because it was decent I went ahead and placed the order. The total came out to around $57 after taxes, delivery fees, same day delivery fee (extra), etc. When he sent me a picture of what he received, I was appalled! The vase was a total piece of crap, the rose was crooked and there was so much greenery (ferns and baby's breath). I understand that there is a substitution clause, but I could of gotten the same crappy arrangement at a liquor store or while at a red light at a freeway off-ramp. I called Pro-Flowers and was given. I finally spoke with a manager (with a major attitude issue) and she proceeding to tell me that all I would receive back is a percentage of the $29.99, which came to about $12. I will NEVER, EVER order from this place again!!!

At this time I wasn't sure if I remembered correctly that it did actually say no minimum purchase required, until I ordered something else from Shutterfly, and it gave me the same option. I clicked on it and went to check out ProFlowers website, but again... it wouldn't give me the discount on anything less than $34.

I was then told that they would refund the shipping charges and deliver it the next day on 1/27/16. Well birthday date was gone. I told them I wanted a refund of my whole amount. I should have read the reviews before I ordered the flowers through them. When I tracked the shipment it showed it was coming from Canada and that it landed in Houston on the morning @ 10:53 am on 1/26/16. I ordered flowers to be delivered and paid the "Same Day Delivery" fee. The website provided the options and the requirements that I followed. The main requirement was that the order was in before 2:00 pm on a weekday. My order was placed at 12:25 pm. When I called to get a status at 3:00 PM I was told that the local flower shop would not complete the order and that they would deliver the flowers tomorrow.

I requested that they refund the same-day-delivery fee and was told that they could not do that. When I requested to speak to a manager, I was also refused. At that point, I requested a refund and asked for a reference number that documented the request. The customer un-service agent advised me that she was unable to provide that information and that I should trust that the full amount would be refunded to my account sometime in the next few days... My aunt got her money back, without an apology or call, and the woman I spoke to didn't even really apologize to me for the loss of a gift. Even as I took the photo for proof (frost on the leaves is hard to capture), the flowers continued to keel over and die in front of the camera.

I ordered same day with up-charge at 10:50a. Same day delivery is guaranteed if ordered by 2pm (according to their website). I indicated to the phone representative that my last order was delivered one day late, and this order was for a birthday today. They reassured me that the order would be delivered same-day.

Then I receive a call over an hour later saying they can't send same day, and only alternative offered is delivering tomorrow and refunding same-day up-charge and upgrading the order. I asked why they didn't just offer a replacement, as obviously I am paying the surcharge for same day delivery. They said they don't have any florist that deliver same-day. So they lied about the capability to deliver same-day. If someone is important to you (which usually are when ordering flowers), then don't order from this company. After three phone calls and two emails later, I finally get a hold of a service rep saying that they canceled my order because no local florist could deliver the style I chose. She then offered me the opportunity to resend the flowers. What? Why??? If a local florist couldn't then, what will change now? She was horrible, miserable, and rote. The person I was sending the flowers to was waiting for them. This is the second time that I have used ProFlowers and they have messed up. I will not be using them ever again. Yes, I will be telling all of my friends never to use them either.

I ordered flowers from ProFlowers on 11/10 (approx. 830am-900am), for same day delivery. I waited all day for my mother to let me know she had received the flowers. After about 6pm, I begin to worry... I had not received confirmation of delivery. I called ProFlowers about 845am on 11/11, spoke w/ a rep, that said the local florist did not have the flowers I ordered. My question was at what point were you all going to contact me to let me know that 1) the flowers were not going to be delivered 2) that there was an issue w/ the flowers I chose 3) and a solution.

I should not have had to call for a status... ProFlowers has every means of contacting me yet they chose not to... UNACCEPTABLE, SO UNPROFESSIONAL. Don't they realize ppl send flowers for a reason. I was so frustrated that I had to follow up and disappointed. I canceled my order. I should be receiving a credit and now I have to start from square one... and hope to find a company, that can guarantee delivery.

I ordered a funeral arrangement for a close friend of mine that passed away. I went on to FTD where I generally order flowers from, and they were not able to get the flowers there by the delivery date. So I searched the web and came across ProFlowers. I ordered the arrangement that I liked, and I also paid for guarantee expedited delivery. I ordered the flowers, got my confirmation # and everything. 2 hrs after I ordered the flowers a customer service rep calls to tell me that they would not be able to guarantee my delivery for my flowers because they would not make the 12:00 funeral time. I asked the lady where did she get that from and she then said that she apologized, and I told her as long as they were there before Monday @ 12:30 I did not care.

Granted this was Saturday. I have received 6 calls on just Saturday of things not going right and then they promised something else and 2 hrs later someone is calling with a different story. Long story short today is Monday the day of the funeral. 10:00 this morning I received another call stating that they would not make the delivery. The customer service rep asked me for a home address. I explained that is why I was having them shipped to the funeral home because I knew they would not deliver to the rural area. She told me that there was nothing else she could do, but to refund my money back. I am SICK right at this moment. I live 4 1/2 hrs away so it is not like I can just run to the local florist and pick some up before the funeral. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They SUCK!

Ordered a sympathy basket for my daughter's fiance and family. We are in Maryland, they are in California. My daughter happened to be on facetime with him when the basket arrived. If I hadn't seen the picture I wouldn't have believed it. I was actually embarrassed that my name was on the card! I understand substitutions, but the basket I ordered was described as "dish garden is comprised of an array of stunning, lush plants and white Peruvian lilies in a sweet woodchip basket, adorned with a white ribbon." It was NONE of that. No array of plants, no lilies or any flower whatsoever, not even a stinking bow! Pathetic!!I

Called ProFlowers and was told the florist in California was closed... at 3pm? They assured me they would take care of this today; they would take back the basket they delivered and replace it. I also left a message on ProFlowers Facebook page and they asked me to email them the info, which I did. Well, today is over and still NOTHING. Nothing at all. Before I ordered I reviewed ProFlowers, 1800flowers, and FTD. And ProFlowers had the best reviews... the other ones must be sending weeds because I don't know how it could be any worse!

ProFlowers' name came up and I placed an order at 9:00 AM for same-day delivery (I had up until 2 PM to place my order for same-day). When I didn't receive a confirmation of arrival by 6:00 PM, I called customer service. They informed me the flowers were "unfortunately" not delivered as promised; no reason given as to why. The customer service rep was clearly reading off a prompter and had no actual empathy for my situation. At one point, he said something like "Thank you for understanding my understanding" ~ huh??

I was told I'd be refunded the delivery charge and the flowers would be delivered next day (which basically defeats the whole purpose of "birthday" flowers). When I emailed customer service with my complaint, they ended up cancelling my whole order "as requested" (I never requested they cancel the order) and are supposedly refunding my money (not holding my breath). My mother and I have had our share of difficulties and I was hoping an unexpected delivery of birthday flowers would put a smile on her face. Now I will never know.

The delivery person did not ring the doorbell and left the roses at the front door on an open porch in frigid temperatures in a snow storm. When the flowers were found they were covered in snow and chilled, therefore they were ruined.

I called them the day the roses were found. No answer -- so I left a message. I have sent dozens of emails. They tell me they have no record of my order. When I received my bank statement at the end of the month I was charged $41.59 and not $22.95 as I agreed upon at time of order. I have asked for a complete refund. I have contacted BBB, this company is a fraud. They will not contact me. So Beware of this company! I have the bank information which will be proof of purchase.

But with ProFlowers my wife had to take the flowers and vase and unpack them and unwrap everything out of a box then we had to cut the stems, add water and plant food, and then arrange the flowers ourselves.

It's been 12 hours and the flowers still look like they were store bought. I wanted to give my wife flowers for her birthday not buds. I will never order from online again. Such a ripoff. Proflowers told me it was too late to change that date because they already shipped out. The problem comes when I looked at my account and saw the price was twice as much and then saw I had another email saying a second order was placed. I called them telling them that I did not authorized a second shipment. They told me it was too late to do anything about it and would not refund my money. I have sent multiple emails and have not had a response. So now my girlfriend had two deliveries in 2 days which led her to be embarrassed.

If I wanted to send her flowers, I would have ordered flower, not a planter! I expressed my dis-satisfaction and was emailed back by a CSR (**) that she was sorry for my incorrect order and I would be receiving a 40% off coupon via e-mail. 2 weeks later and still nothing. How many healing intentions not received?

Pro Flowers has such a miserable track record that it needs to repair its practices immediately. First off, have a quality control team that goes to all the shops they trust to fill their orders. One hell of a big undertaking but why aren't you doing it already? How can you be proud of a business that fails so badly? Your business concept is such a great idea. I ordered a plant as a sympathy order for a friend. I had a coupon for 20% off my order if I signed up for Proflowers email newsletters. That helped in making my decision to purchase through their website. Unfortunately, the shipping and handling costs were not shown until AFTER I had confirmed my purchase (they did however offer me the option to upgrade to a morning guaranteed delivery for an additional $15 before I confirmed my purchase). My plant was $25, the S&H was $15 (9 days from ordering, 7 business days) plus there was an additional $3 Care & Handling charge added, in addition to the anticipated taxes. My total order came to almost $50, with only half of that price being the order itself. Had I had better transparency into the additional costs, I might have changed my order to one on special, or gone with a different company.

Flowers should never be delivered in boxes. This is what all the major flower delivery companies do now. The flowers arrive wilted, crushed or dead. They count on the recipient not to say anything for fear of hurting the sender's feelings. I sent my elderly mother tulips for Mother's Day through ProFlowers. She received six unopened tulip buds. Very attractive. She didn't say anything for fear of hurting my feelings. For their anniversary I sent them what I thought was a beautiful bouquet along with chocolates. They arrived in a hot box through FedEx. The roses were wilted and all the fillers were dead and had to be thrown out. The chocolate was in the form of a puddle.

My mother finally told me because she didn't want me wasting any more of my money. Understandably, I was very angry. I demanded a refund for both orders. They offered to replace the shipments with a different flower arrangement. Why would I want to replace wilted flowers with more wilted flowers? I told them "NO, I wanted a refund." They finally conceded and gave me a refund for both.

I ordered flowers. Right away on the order were added two items that I didn't want bringing the cost up. The transaction was in a shadowed part on the screen making it difficult to see what you had ordered. I did delete the extra items that had showed up on the screen, and then proceeded to checkout. They give you very little time to look over your order before it is completed.

After the order was completed, I realized that I had no message of any kind included with the flowers so called the company. They said it would be $3.99 to add a card. When I said I would like to cancel my order, I was told that I would still be responsible for 30% of the order cost plus the shipping. So I said that I guessed you were not allowed to cancel an order. He said, "No, you could cancel, but there were stipulations." I didn't get the card and did not try further to cancel the order.

When I hung up, I looked on the computer for reviews of this company and was alarmed at what I read. It was at this point that I called my credit card company to cancel my payment. They said they would take care of it. From the email I got from the company, I posted a notice that I was canceling my order and my credit card company would not pay them. Today I got a reply from the flower company that my order was canceled and my money returned to my credit card. I got a very different answer from the email than from the sales person on the phone. I got bad vibes from this outfit and would not order from them again.

Last Friday we ordered a large (and expensive) bouquet of flowers for our daughter's birthday. According to the website, the flowers could be delivered the next day (her birthday). I checked the box online that says to leave the flowers even if no one is home as we wanted to surprise her with the delivery. Saturday afternoon there were two messages on my phone asking to confirm the address (the address was stated clearly on our order) and whether someone was home (I had checked the box that this wasn't required).

When I called the local florist back, the woman said that they were now closed and that they wouldn't be able to deliver the flowers that day. I said that I had specifically asked for them to deliver the flowers without contacting our daughter and the florist said that they didn't get that message. The florist went on to say that that was a problem between ProFlowers and us - not them! She eventually hung up on me.

We then called ProFlowers and they checked and supposedly found another local florist to deliver the flowers on Sunday, with a 30% discount. We agreed and even told our daughter to expect flowers on Sunday. Well, no delivery on Sunday and now, on Tuesday, we get a call from ProFlowers saying that a Sunday delivery was not able to be made but would we like to have them delivered today. I told them no and asked for a full refund. The lady on the phone was not rude, but not apologetic either. It's hard to make up for missing a delivery by 3 days. I will never deal with ProFlowers again, nor the local florist, 620 Florist in Round Rock. So much for a sweet surprise for our daughter...

I ordered the ZEN ARTISTRY arrangement, I liked the green/white flowers, the kiwi colored square base, the bamboo stalks, palm leaf, the stalks of bright purple orchids - it looks modern (on the website), almost like an Ikebana arrangement. I was even willing to pay a lot extra for a PREMIUM arrangement ($69.95 w/o the service charge). After it was delivered yesterday I got a picture of what they delivered - an all pink "arrangement" with a black round base. There wasn't any flower, moss, leaf in this arrangement that was the same as what they offered (I am not only talking about the colors but also the kind of flowers they used). Granted there were some orchids but even the orchids were not what you see online. It has nothing of the flair and style that is shown online, it looks frumpy. I could have gotten something this boring for a lot less at any supermarket.

They offered to send a refund of $37.73 because I was "unhappy" as a "token of their regret". If I wanted a full refund they would have the florist pick it up. Mind you I did sent a picture of the arrangement and a picture of what was received with my complaint so anyone can figure out that this is not the same or even close to the same thing that I thought I had purchased. ProFlowers offers arrangements on their website for delivery for your special occasion. For me, it was grandfather's funeral. I ordered 4 arrangements, one for the casket, one for the sign-in table, and two to mark his tombstone and my grandmother's tombstone, who had previously passed. I spent $585 (which included a delivery fee of $19.99 per arrangement, even though they were all to be delivered to the same location at the same time). Only one arrangement was delivered as promised. The only problem was that it did not match the other arrangement for my grandmother's headstone. The $175 "Strength and Wisdom Casket Splay" promised roses, gladiolas, mums, etc. in a beautiful red and white arrangement. What arrived was a bouquet of red carnations! I could have done that myself from a grocery store florist for $60.00.

The final insult was the white lily display. It was pictured with a beautiful polished vase with a cross on it. This was meant as keepsake for my mother, who took the passing exceptionally hard. The delivered setting had only three lilies, and was filled with other cheaper white flowers. And most upsetting, it was presented in a square tin without a cross. I emailed the help line, attached photos and described in detail the shortcomings of the order. I received what seemed like automatic, generic reply asking me to explain why I was dissatisfied with the order. Did they not even read my email? Did they not look at the photos?

I urge anyone that reads this to not trust ProFlowers with your special occasion. Go direct to the florist! Don't, whatever you do, trust that you will get what you paid for. And ultimately, don't trust that you will have any recourse should they fail to live up to their promises. They are a large corporation without concern or compassion for their clients.

I understand that ProFlowers uses local florists to complete their orders but you'd think they would "touch base" and make sure the florist was capable of fulfilling it, and if not, to find someone else who could. Even calling me earlier in the morning would have allowed more time for me to find a last minute florist to handle this. Instead they wait until the funeral has been over for 3 hours. She mentioned that they arrived in a very long box because they were long stem (very long). She liked that, so that she had the control of setting up the bouquet the way she liked. She said the rose fragrance filled the air & they were so fresh & beautiful! She also remarked on the great size of the vase as well as how wonderfully they were packed. So I cut the flowers and added the stuff. Long story short as you can see in the pics they didn't turn out how their pictures showed they would. I emailed ProFlowers and showed them the pictures. They didn't care and were not willing to stand behind their word. In the pictures you can see day 2 day 7 and the picture of what they said the flowers should have look like.

Have spent over 6 hours on phone attempting to solve issue without success. I've been placed on hold and been on the line for an hour at a time, promised to speak to a supervisor which never happened. Every day I call I get told my flowers will be delivered the next morning. They keep blaming florist. Someone has obviously dropped the ball.

From other reviews I can tell they keep going down hill further and further down with horrible service. Many of us order through this service out of convenience, just a click away right? NO, ends up being very much inconvenient. What a frustrating experience. Trust me on this one. Call a local florist. This company does NOT deserve our business. Expensive flowers And Outrageous delivery fees would be worth it if outcome was what you expect. It is not. I ordered a bouquet from ProFlowers for my mother in Illinois. I decided to have them delivered two days after thinking that the Mothers Day rush would be over and the quality would be good. The flowers came and they looked horrible - didn't look anything like the arrangement I had chosen, some of the flowers were dead. It was a mess... like someone had taken some random flowers and dumped them into a vase without rhyme or reason. And there was suppose to be a box of chocolates with the order that didn't come either.

This experience with ProFlowers was disappointing! They did refund me after trying to get me to let them send a replacement order. I said NO because I don't trust it won't look the same. The gal said that the flowers come from growers close to where the flowers are to be delivered and not from a florist designer. I paid a quite a bit for the arrangement that I wanted to say "I LOVE YOU" to my Mom but instead looked like it said "I don't care..." it is so sad to me. I will NEVER use ProFlowers again!!

I sent my daughter of the flowers I had arranged in the vase and she said that those weren't even the ones she ordered. Now that's really upsetting that they didn't even send the correct flowers. So if the flowers were "fresh" they would be the wrong ones. Shame on ProFlowers.

Today is Mother's Day... On Wednesday I received a box of flowers from ProFlowers from my son and daughter-in-law from Mother's Day. The roses were getting brownish around the outside petals and many were already open. I called ProFlowers and voiced my complaint. The woman assured me that they would send out another bouquet immediately. When they still hadn't arrived by late Friday I called again. This time the ProFlower agent looked up the order and said they'd be here Saturday. That was yesterday..... still no fresh flowers. I have used ProFlowers myself when ordering flowers as a gift. I will never use them again!!! This is NOT a way to stay in business.

I have used them several times (was probably too lazy to seek alternatives), the quality has always been poor (half dead unarranged flowers with no hydration bulb to keep them fresh). This mothers day, I saw my mother in law's delivery (1 from ProFlowers, 1 from flowers.com) and it became very clear. The flowers.com delivery looked beautiful even in the box (nicely arranged, carefully packaged in tissue with a hydration bulb), by comparison the ProFlowers delivery looked half dead, not arranged and without hydration. Nothing like a side by side product comparison to sort out the weeds from the roses!

I ordered on 4/28 Mother's Day flowers for my mother and a 2nd order for my mother in law. The next day I realized the date on the order showed 5/1 instead of 5/8. I call and checked the date. They are helpful in correcting their mistake. They do say one order will be sent to my mother on 5/1 due to already being in route, but will make sure and send another on 5/8 as well as an order to my mother in law. Well then I realize they don't even have the address correct for her. They have same address for both names. Get it corrected.

Then they call me back and say one of the orders isn't available I say "I don't care just make sure something gets there on 5/8." 5/8 comes around and I get a message at about 4pm stating my order has been cancelled and the florist tried to call around within a 1 mile radius but couldn't find anyone. That was actually on the voicemail 1 mile!!

So I call sit on hold for 20mins. Talk to a person get the run around over and over trying to locate the order. Tell me one order is cancelled and the other was an attempt to deliver. What does that mean? Well they were going to deliver but too many orders. They say they will make sure it gets delivered 5/9. Phone call took over an hour and 15mins.

Well 5/9 is here and I speak to multiple CRs then I speak to supervisor ** she tells me one order will most definitely get delivered today the other one I can get it delivered Tuesday or get a refund. Note: look back at the day the order was originally made. During this phone call I was told: order was attempted no one was home, order was not approved yet since there was a mistake originally, order was not delivered because they ran out of tulips.

All different stories no one could explain the reason for different stories, so ** escalates the concern to her manager. I tell the manager I have been on the phone for over an hour and half. I need to make sure no matter what that the order to my in law gets there today. She gives me a new confirmation # and word that it will most definitely get there. The order to my mother I am told will arrive Wednesday!! I said fine whatever. Well at 730 my wife contacts her mother and no flowers have been delivered today.

This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. The phone calls take forever and get nowhere. They act like they aren't sure why I am so frustrated and have not offered any kind of discount or anything for the trouble. Tomorrow I will attempt to get a refund for both orders and I have a feeling no matter what is said the flowers will not arrive and my money will not be refunded.

My son order some flowers from ProFlowers to be delivered on the Saturday before Mother's Day. My son and I were not home when the flowers were delivered so the delivery person just leaves the flowers to get stolen, which is what happened to the flowers. We weren't home, which was partly our fault for not being there, but to just leave them for anyone to take is the delivery person's fault because they got stolen The way things are today where people are not safe and stealing is going strong, why would the delivery person just leave the flowers? Didn't the great possibility of someone stealing my flowers ever enter that delivery person's mind?

Now the flowers have to be replaced. Under those circumstances aren't ProFlowers losing money? Plus the fact that I will not be getting my flowers on Mother's Day as planned. And their policy is "No signature required on top of the flowers; just being left." I was told by a representative that sometimes the flowers can be left at a front desk or with a doorman, of which I have neither. Shouldn't the delivery person take whether I have a doorman or not into consideration in whether he would just leave the flowers or not? Well I think so because just leaving the flowers can not only be bad for the person that's suppose to receive the flowers but it should be bad for their business as well. Therefore I think that this delivery method should be changed.

When I called my mom to see how she liked her flowers, she was upset because she could not take them out of the vase, cut the stems, arrange them in the vase and water them. She was upset and sad. This company needs to say on its website that the flowers do not come as shown and the recipient has to put it all together. I will NEVER purchase flowers from them again. I called the nurse where she lives and she said she would take care of it. But the flowers have been sitting in the box all day and she has not been able to enjoy them.

I wanted to give my girlfriend a Mothers Day present because she said she loves flowers and no one in any of her past relationships ever bought her anything. She even has 2 kids by her ex and he never did anything like as much as take her out - but he would take out his women on the side and buy them things all the time. So this was my chance to make her smile! I ordered a simple vase of assorted roses. In the advertisement they show 5 assorted rose colors: Orange, White, Pink, Red and Yellow. But what they actually sent were just Yellow and Red! Secondly, the order came with a complimentary box of chocolates but when my gf opened the box, all of the chocolates were melted together!

I subsequently called ProFlowers to make a compensation plea, not for a replacement but "compensation" because they spoiled a Mothers Day gift that my gf never got before in her life! To compensate you do not replace the item, you try to make her feel better for spoiling HER moment. So I asked NOT for a refund but to send her something with more value than what they already sent and they refused.

Don't ever use these people! I did not know of all of these complaints about them and it was my gf who didn't know but heard of them. I wanted to make her day 'special' and ProFlower ruined it and did not want to make it right. You don't "replace" what you should never have messed up in the first place, you try to makeup for the mistake by giving something to say 'sorry that we ** up!' - They not only did not send what I ordered, but what they did send was junk in my honest opinion - what person wants melted-together box of assorted chocolates?

I was on the phone with my gf and her daughter even said out loud: "Ewe!" to show her disgust of what ProFlowers had sent! And she's only 8 years old. Kids LOVE chocolate, and even the little girl did not want to eat that junk. I could go even further to say that they didn't even alert me to when the order was being shipped 'like they say they do' in just "3 easy steps." Neither did they alert me (the 3rd and final step!) of when the package was delivered.

I was on the phone with my gf and she said that the delivery people just left a box at the door. I was expecting some kind of delivery that greets the recipient and lets them know that they have a special delivery - but instead they treat your 'gift' as a UPS package and just drops it and leaves. The problem with that is that they deliver 'PERISHABLE' edibles! By not calling the recipient or personally delivering the gift, it can be dropped off and not picked up immediately so that the flowers and edibles can be properly placed in water and put in the refrigerator respectively! That's just SAD.

Like so many other customers state, the flowers received are a fraction of what is shown in their photos. The flowers received looked like they've traveled continents without water, in the heat in the back of a truck with no shocks (meaning the flowers are wilted and beat up). They are delivered by UPS and just left on the doorstep (ProFlowers doesn't require a signature so they could be easily stolen if you live in an area where people pass by). This is a classless company. I wouldn't use their service again, not even to send flowers to someone I don't like.

It moved on after delivery addresses to picking a payment method and entering card info stating, "Your credit card will not be charged at this time." I picked my PayPal account and it then stated, "THANK YOU FOR YOUR ORDER." They hit my card charging me $49.06. THEY NEVER GAVE ME ANY OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW THEIR ADDITIONAL CHARGES!

When I called they stated that there was an additional charge for Sat delivery and the delivery charge + tax. I told them I wanted it canceled as it was going to make my payments in my account bounce. They offered me a discount but said that would take 5-7 business days to post. I again explained it would make my recurring payment bounce and disconnect my services. They assured me they would cancel the entire transaction as I requested right away, then said someone would call me back with the submission and no one did. Shortly thereafter I receive a letter from customer service stating they were giving me a partial credit that could take up to 28 days to process! After five e-mails and 3 calls to PayPal and 3 calls to them flipping out that my payments from my account would now bounce they finally canceled the authorization.

The rep explained to me that, "We are aware of the 'glitches' on our system and are working very hard to correct them." YEAH RIGHT!! The UPS driver barely knocked on the door (which I realize is not your fault) and just left the package. My wife was in the living room and barely heard the knock. She immediately followed the directions in the box. The flowers were not arranged and delivered as such. They were just in a cellophane wrapper and needed to be cut and then put in the vase and water (as per the instructions). The peach flowers especially had some slightly browned surface petals. The box of chocolate per the picture looked "Yummy" per my wife. However when she opened the box they were totally melted.

This is the worst company ever - poor service, they LIE ABOUT THE DELIVERY. I ordered an express delivery, and they never delivered it the same day like they should have. So I call the next day 3 times and they keep telling me "oh they will deliver within 2 hours". So the 4th time I called they said that the driver had just left. So I text my mom if she has gotten any package for me just to see, and she said "no". So the 3rd day I call in the morning they tell me "Oh. we are so sorry. The reason your flowers have not been delivered yet is because we are all out of the ones you ordered." I am like, "REALLY? And you could not tell me that before?" They kept lying to me telling that they were gonna deliver for 3 whole daysssss, omg am so mad.

So not only that, they totally ruined the surprise. I call my mom to just talk to her and she tells me, "thank you for trying to deliver the flowers but they never came!" I asked her how did she know, and she tells me they called her and told her she was gonna get flowers from ME. Now, is this a company that should be in business? And you know what's worse? The day I made the express order I also made a Mother's day order but put the wrong name so I call to change and they changed it and everything.

Then when I called to see if the express order was almost to my moms something in my head told me to make sure they got down the Mother's day order. What they tell me is that whoever tried to change the name also canceled my order. So if that little voice in my head didn't ask me to double check I would've experienced the same thing all over again on MOTHER'S DAY!!! And check this out they double charged my account on the canceled order!!! I am just STUNNED on how this company is still functioning. I wanna put them out of work, I hope they go out of business soon.
