I purchased flowers for my mother in law for Mother's Day. After reviewing the order and the sub-total on the order I clicked next. Then I was presented with the entire charged about with many fees. A $36 order was $78 with the charges and fees. I immediately called them and they said cancelling was not an option, the order was in process. I will never order from this company again and don't suggest that anyone do business with this company.

Don't waste your time or money with this company. I sent flowers to my grandmother for her 73rd birthday. They forgot part of her order. I called the next day to see when they could deliver the rest of her gift and they told me that it didn't meet the minimum amount for delivery. I spent over $100 originally and it wasn't my fault or hers. I was very upset. They then refunded me and issued me a store credit. I tried to redeem credit to find out it's just a scam to get you to spend more money. When I called the supervisor was like a broken record and hung up on me. I'm beyond outraged. There are so many flower delivery services out there. You would think they would value their customers.

Ordered flowers for Mother's Day for my daughter. The 100 bloom with chocolates special rate 19.99 and 2.99 card. Thought I was paying 4.99 delivers fee. Total bill was $62.87. They charged 12.99 standard delivery, 19.99 mother's day delivery, 2.99 care and handling, and 3.83 tax. My 19.99 order was now 62.78. Place the order online. Printed the confirmation and called immediately. Told the lady I only wanted standard deliv rate and wanted to change the date for deliv. No can do. Asked "Could you just cancelled my order." Oh yes. "Please do so." Will wait to see if my card is charge.

The ordering process is very confusing and very misleading. Word to the wise, pay very close attention to every detail with this company or you can end up paying a small fortune for a little bouquet of flowers. I would not recommended this company to anyone.

My work schedule got changed last minute, a week before Mother's Day. So I would be unable to go visit my mom. I figured I should at least send her flowers. I heard about ProFlowers on the radio so I decided I would go with them. The flowers I ordered showed $29.97 as the price, then $25.48 with the radio code. That was the total that was show all throughout the order process.

Then lo and behold my PayPal account was charged $60.97. After 35 minutes on the phone with a polite but unhelpful rep, I found out the reason was delivery fees that were never shown in the order process. I asked about prices for different days, to see if it would be cheaper to send it the day after Mothers Day. It would have been ten dollars cheaper, but still $50, which as a broke college student I couldn't afford. So I said I didn't want to switch the delivery date, just cancel my order. The rep changed the delivery date anyway and now my account has been charged $60.97 and $50.14.

Eventually I got the rep to cancel the order, allegedly. I never got an order confirmation email, and my order never showed up on my account with ProFlowers. The rep said that there isn't a confirmation number for cancellations, but gave me the confirmation number for my original order. She said the charge will come off my account in 5-7 days, which will likely be after the now $110 is deducted from my account, overdrawing it. The customer support rep was polite, and seemed to be trying her best, but ProFlowers just seems like an extremely shady company. Generally shipping fees are listed when you are reviewing an order before confirming it. ProFlowers just tacked it on when they billed my account.

I heard on the radio station 103.3 that you could get 100 blooms for mothers day for 19.99 if you used the code "Bruce" and also for today only, an extra 15% off. I placed 2 orders and it confirmed the order total for each as 16.99 and 4.99 in shipping. Placed the orders and the very bottom showed a total charge of 37.99. For each order. I immediately called to cancel and was told it was too late, the order was already in process. I stated I had literally just processed the orders. ** stated a supervisor would call me back. However no one has called me and I now have 2 orders of flowers that I tried to cancel. Long story short, read the reviews on this company and beware!!!

My daughter ordered for delivery to my home a bouquet of flowers which included a dozen white roses. Unfortunately when the flowers arrived most of them were brown and limp. It has not been a full week yet all of the flowers have died. I feel this was a waste of her money - she could have gotten a bouquet at the local Wal-Mart that would have lasted longer. I certainly will not order flowers through this company.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mother in law on behalf of my children (her grandchildren) for her birthday. I didn't order "same day" but actually ordered a day before. By 3:00 pm on her birthday- still no flowers. I called customer service and they said they contacted the florist and confirmed the delivery was "on it's way". Each hour I called as the flowers never seemed to arrive. Each customer service agent worse than the one before- some trying to tell me they were delivered when I had already confirmed with my mother-in-law that they had not.

I literally spent an accumulated four hours of my day trying to follow up on this order. Each agent telling me "I apologize for the inconvenience.....". The last agent assured me the flowers would be delivered by 7:30, but guess what? That never happened. They wanted to offer me 10% off my order which I found ridiculous as I could easily find a promo code on the web for 10% or more. Their next offer was 20% off of a future order---ARE THEY CRAZY? Do they really think they retained a customer after this experience? All I have to say is that the flowers never were delivered.... And the customer service wasn't either.

For every special occasion, birthdays, Mother's Day or just to say "I love you and miss you" I would send them ProFlowers. I was finally told by my mother to please stop sending them flowers from this company. It was very difficult for my mother to tell me this, it upset her and she did not want me to get offended. She proceeded to tell me how awful and horribly ugly these arrangements are. They come half dead and look nothing like they are pictured. I am embarrassed and upset that I have wasted so much money these past 2 years. I am also extremely upset that my mother was put in the uncomfortable position to have to tell me.

Second experience, I ordered Mother's Day flowers for my mom. Originally, the website said they could provide the order in my mother's area. Next thing I know, I'm getting emails and phone calls asking me to change my order to a different bouquet. I thought, "Alright, no biggie," until I got an email today saying they CANCELLED my order completely. First AND second impressions were total screw ups. I was also told they come unassigned, in a box, with the vase alongside them and I would have to arrange them myself. None of this information was explained to me at the time of order. I got the FedEx tracking number from Proflowers auto system. But FedEx didn't recognize it as one of their numbers. So I can't track it and I can't get a human being on the phone. I said I was going to refuse the shipment. I was told to accept it and if I wasn't pleased, to call and I would get a full refund. Go with your local florist!! I just received two dozen roses from my boyfriend, and as a recipient I can tell you - WORST IMPRESSION EVER ON PRESENTATION!! (My boyfriend is an amazing guy and obviously had the best intentions, like most guys sending flowers.) HOWEVER, these are the first flowers that I have ever received in a BOX!! When you open the box it takes about five minutes to assemble, cut off the plastic, remove the bands, and sponge-like base (WHICH FALLS APART AS YOU TOUCH IT AND MAKES A HUGE MESS), and then where do you throw the huge box in your office?? THEN, when you finally discover the flowers and get them arranged, they are missing all the additional floral additions that makes a floral arrangement beautiful - like the baby breath between flowers. It's a simple 24 roses squashed together - YOU ARE BETTER OFF GOING TO THE LOCAL SUPERMARKET AND SPENDING $10.

This was not the worst part!! After the 10 minute "assemble yourself" production, I placed the bouquet on my desk and went to grab a glass of water to fill up the vase... poured the water into my vase and OUT IT CAME - ALL OVER MY DESK. The vase was broken - something easily avoided in a bouquet of flowers delivered PRE-ARRANGED AND WITH WATER!!! So, in defense of my extremely thoughtful boyfriend, I called ProFlowers and explained that I had been given a broken vase, to which the lady politely offered to replace the bouquet of flowers... IN TWO DAYS!!! TWO DAYS??? IT TAKES TWO DAYS TO REPLACE FLOWERS??? I can ship something from China overnight??? Where are the flowers coming from??? Don't waste your time with ProFlowers!!! Avoid at all cost!!! Tell your friends! Tell your family!!! USE A LOCAL FLORIST - NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE!!!

I have told my husband on various occasions not to ever send me boxed flowers and especially not to waste his money with big companies such as ProFlowers or 1800Flowers but I guess he forgot because today I received a box of "just because" flowers at work. I still got excited because, as it was, I was having a bad week and what girl doesn't appreciate "just because" flowers? I quickly open them to find the ugliest arrangement of flowers I have ever seen in my life. I was so embarrassed to take them out but decided to anyway just to get a better look at them.

There were about 10 tulips (some broken) and about 15 stargazers, all buds, and just a ton of leaves everywhere. No fillers. Typically, I don't care how much my husband spends on stuff but as upset as I was I decided to look it up to see how much he spent, praying he didn't spend more than $25. I immediately regretted it because I almost choked when I realized how much he really spent. I never write reviews but I hope every single person whoever receives a bad order from them writes one because this company needs to be shut down. This is one of the sneakiest websites I've been on. The charges they slip in on you at the end of the order are hidden on the far right, lower corner. And in the process of ordering they expect the CUSTOMER to put 2+2 together to realize they are opting for "Rush Charges" based on color coded dates on the calendar when you select your delivery date. But they COULD put those rush charges more conveniently on the NEXT page when they ask if you want your order delivered by noon the next day. That would be a perfect place to put those next day rush charges, but as I said, they sneak it in and expect the customer to take note of the fact that next day numbers are green, not blue that would NOT have the extra charge, but thereby automatically incurring an extra $4.99 charge. Then there are the extra handling charges that show up at the end, not to mention taxes for an out-of-state order. My order went from $42 to over $55!

It's also a ripoff company because I've sent flowers from them to a funeral home that were not even in bloom! Who expects to show up at a funeral/wake and see closed up lilies?! I ordered the 'Deluxe Pink Sapphire' arrangement to be delivered to my home on my mom's birthday. When it arrived, the deliveryman practically threw the box at the door and didn't even knock. When I got to the box, the top was pushed outwards as if all of the contents were popping out. Upon opening the box, I could see right off the bat that the buds were beaten all to hell, brown, ripped, and just not pretty at all. After following all the instructions and snipping a bit off of all of the flower stems and arranging them in the vase, there were huge gaps with no flowers at all, which is completely contradictory of what the picture and description for this arrangement showed.

The roses had marks and dents in them and they were already browning and falling apart, and the other two types of flowers were not anywhere near satisfactory, due to the fact that there were so few of them that were unharmed and able to bloom fully. For almost $90, you would expect a good, full arrangement that's filled with large, healthy, quality buds that will bloom into beautiful, vibrant flowers. I did contact customer service and told them about my complaint, and they are sending me a replacement arrangement, but honestly, I really don't feel that that makes up for it because it will most likely have the same exact issues as the arrangement I already received. I am very disappointed about this and am honestly embarrassed for my mom to come home and see these beat up, browning flowers on her birthday. They said the order was "locked out" and they couldn't apply the discount (false advertising). I was also charged for 4 additional fees including a standard delivery (understandable), a rush delivery (Why am I paying for both?), a handling fee, and tax on top of not receiving the discount that was advertised. They of course attach all these fees after you create an account, put in all your info, the recipient's info and then all your billing and credit card info.

Well at least the flowers got there by 6 pm as agreed upon... except they didn't and then their customer service passed me back and forth to FedEx - each playing the blame game and telling me only the other company could help me change the address so they could get the the recipient's house instead of work where they were originally going. Eventually they both decided they couldn't do anything to do "over-shipment" or some excuse and the flowers never arrived on the recipient's birthday. But they were happy to deliver them after the recipients birthday - because nothing people love more than receiving flowers after their birthday! I ordered a personalized gift and birthday plant from pro flowers and the delivery date is 25th of March. At the time of ordering I called them and confirmed the availability of plant. The order placement was a bad experience as I had to call them repeatedly for confirmation mail as they entered my email id incorrectly. Which was corrected after 10 days. Later the personalized gift was sent 16 days before. Added to this they failed to send the birthday plant on 25th of March. I called them on 25th March at 9 pm as I didn't receive a confirmation mail. Then they confirmed that the gift can’t be delivered and there is no replacement available and if any other gift I had to choose will be delivered on 27th of March. Though they refunded the money, it’s of no use as the whole surprise was spoiled. My experience with Pro flowers is very bad and disastrous.

I have ordered from ProFlowers before and had just recently received a flyer for them in the mail, so I thought, hey! What a perfect time, I didn't even think to get flowers but this was a nice reminder that I have ordered from them before and it would surely be a beautiful gift! They said the delivery window was from 8 or 9 am until 8 pm. (Plenty of time for my order to arrive!) The flowers NEVER showed up!

I was/am extremely upset and disappointed. Do not offer a service you can't provide! I wanted my mom to be surprised and happy by the tulips, only to be let down. I should have just picked up flowers from a local store for her, that way I would be guaranteed she would get them! Not only did she not receive them, but a 12 hour delivery window and 8 pm coming and going left me without an opportunity to go buy flowers for her birthday. I am expecting my refund in 5 to 7 business days. (I won't be surprised if that too isn't an accurate statement provide by them.) I will NEVER again use ProFlowers! I am not one to write a bad review or any review for that matter, but I am still so utterly disgusted by the lack of professionalism and extremely poor service. With the additional handling at $5.00, the whole order came out to $97. If I would known that, I would have DEF not paid. Especially since the flowers were small and dingy as hell. 100% not worth the price. I should have just went to a florist in town and paid like $20 for bigger flowers. No flowers ever arrived for the wake. As if my parents weren't already devastated enough!!! Went home only to spend 2 hrs on the phone still with no answer. They just said due to the error we wouldn't be charged. From experience working with plants and cut flowers, I was able to examine the remains to identify that these were Alstroemeria, or Peruvian Lilies. I didn't bother to try to separate the slimy mass of stems to determine how many of them were in the box, but it looked like about as many as I could buy at Costco for $9.00. He placed the order on Sunday and paid for them to be delivered the next day at her place of work between 8-5. At about 2:20 she still hadn't received them. I called and they assured me that they would be delivered before 5:00. They were not delivered. How disappointing!!! When I called at 6:30 they said that the florist they had arranged to handle the arrangement refused the delivery because they didn't have the flowers for the arrangement. Really?? Why didn't anyone contact us?

They said they would deliver the next day (Tuesday), well the bad thing is that she doesn't work again until Friday. When I told the lady this, she said "Well the flowers will be in her office when she returns." Ok so she won't be at her office but her flowers will be! Doesn't make sense! I did get her to refund the delivery charge. (We'll see if that really happens.) The flowers will now be delivered on Friday. I've placed orders here in the past for my Mom and my Stepmom, and never received any complaints. However, when my husband decided to order flowers for me for Valentine's Day of 2015, I had the complete opposite reaction. I received my flowers on February 13th, 2015, Sweetheart Bouquet is what my husband ordered. This totaled about $50 after the so called "discounts". I was extremely surprised to see a box on my doorstep when no one had knocked to let me know it was even out there. I opened the box to another surprise: I had to put the bouquet together myself. The vase was separate from the flowers, and we had to arrange them ourselves.

The roses were browned on the outside. I let this slide, cut the stems, and placed them in the water with the food. The next morning, on Valentine's Day, I woke up to half of the flowers being dead and completely wilted over. Frustrated, I called and spoke to a representative. This quality was not $50 worth to me. I spoke to someone who gave me the option of getting a replacement sent; I agreed. She asked me did I want to receive it that next Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. I said Tuesday.

Tuesday rolled around and I received no flowers. We had inclement weather, so I assumed they would come the next day, therefore I didn't call. At 4:30 pm on Wednesday, I still had no flowers, so I called in and spoke to a male representative whom I could barely understand. He told me that my shipment was late and he would issue me a full refund. I said “ok, should I still expect the flowers”, and he said “yes they were still going to be delivered either way.”

Today, Thursday, around 5:00 pm, my husband came through the door with the package. No one had knocked again, as I was here all day. He told me that something inside sounded broken. I opened the package to find that the vase was completely shattered, the roses were more browned than the first batch, and the roses were flattened and were no longer round. I called again today, and spoke to another representative who told me she could give me store credit, or send another replacement. I told her I didn't want another replacement, since they were both extremely horrible first times I got them. She then put me on hold. She came back to the phone only to tell me that she misinformed me, and since I received a refund, they couldn't do anything else. So, I didn't receive flowers for Valentine's Day, because they were all dead. Needless to say, we won't be ordering from them EVER AGAIN!

ProFlowers states on their website that their flowers stay fresh for 7 days. The packaging of the product was undamaged but it was obvious that the flowers were packed several days before shipment. ProFlowers does offer an "after the fact" online survey regarding the quality of its product and services. Such a survey, however, does nothing to inform the potential customers what to expect regarding service and product quality. Lesson: Beware of an online ordering process access to customer ratings and comments posted regarding service and product quality. If I wanted to make my wife make the arrangement herself I would have stopped at a flower shop, bought all of the flowers and threw them in her lap asking her to arrange them. One of the main purposes of having flowers delivered is because they are already arranged. Their advertising is extremely misleading. She asked me the address, since it was delivered to the correct address and told me to call FedEx for a pickup...why, I don't know. I asked if she could contact the sender to let them know so somehow we could actually get the flowers to them, and she asked me did I know a man named Corey. I said I didn't, and that was all she cared to do about the mistake. I called FedEx and scheduled a pickup, told them the flowers in the box would be left on the porch, where THEY left them, for them to pickup.

That was two days ago, and FedEx never picked them up. I came home and tried to find the name of the person sending them and the person receiving them by looking them up online. Found an old address and an old phone number, tried to call the number only to find out it had been disconnected or changed. At this point, I do not know what else to do. After reading all of the comments and the customer service I received, I would NEVER use ProFlowers. So sorry I could not get the flowers to the person they belonged to.

Not sure how long they were there, only reason I seen them was I went to change my laundry! Got them in the house, they were frozen. My roses had black on the edges and died Monday!!!! WOW, that's worth the money!!! Will NEVER buy from them again! THANKS FOR THE DEAD ROSES!!!

So all I wanna know is how an $19 flower order can turn $52...is shipping and handling twice as much the order? So are you stupid enough to see that I will never ever order from you guys again?

Chose my free vase. Next I bypass the "guaranteed morning delivery" for $14.99, get to the final order window and see a total of $96.99! LOL! My $9.99 delivery fee was now 15.99. Also added on was a guaranteed delivery fee of $9.99...huh, didn't I pay $9.99 delivery fee to start with? Or was that a "might get delivered" fee and you had to pay an additional 10 bucks to made sure it got there on the day you initially chose? And then a "care and handling" fee of $5.00...one would think that "care and handling" would be included in a "delivery" fee...call me crazy I guess. Then the usual tax. Whatever...it was Valentine's Day, I don't buy flowers often so I paid it. Girlfriend gets the flowers and say they look great but some buds are brown and leaves already wilted.

I saw it when I got home and just thought "WTF IS THAT??" I called ProFlowers immediately and they were helpful and polite. They offered me a replacement bouquet but since this has happened to me 2x before with ProFlowers, I just took the refund. Thank God they have a money-back guarantee. So for service, I'd give them 5 stars. I'm curious as to how many refunds they had to make this past Valentine's holiday. I'll never order from them again. @ProFlowers You are a major #disappointment... I mean to make one mistake is forgivable but to commit a second one... Well, that is simply unforgivable!?! ...and the customer service is so bad and non-existent that I am surprised I was able to keep my composure because the options to either give me a refund or to have the flowers and gift sent on the following business day Monday the 16th... I mean, seriously?!? ...can you even call those realistic options when the whole point of paying you an arm and a leg to have this bouquet and gift delivered on a timely manner because it happens to be for a specific occasion that just so happens every ** year on the 14th of February aka #ValentinesDay?!?!?!?

UPDATE: 02/16/2015. They emailed me back to apologize and offered me the same unrealistic options that they offered me back on Friday which was to give me a refund or have the same order scheduled for a later date to be delivered... Is it just me or have they failed to realize that Valentine's Day already came and gone and the options they gave me are not only unfair and unjust but downright insulting!

The right thing to do at this point would be to offer me a full refund for the major screw-up that just transpired over the weekend and further offer me a credit equal to what I spent for this past order for Valentine's Day and be able to use it for a future occasion of my choosing... Now, that is what I call "Reputation Damage Control" but apparently they either think they are too big of a company for one person to affect them negatively or they are just too ignorant and confident that people will forget and will continue to do business with them...

I went into their Facebook page and there alone were at least over eighty five complaints that came pouring in this past weekend for people being unhappy with either the way they handled their order or the quality and bad condition the product(s) arrived in! Because I care about doing the right thing and for others not to be in this predicament and most importantly, for a company this large to take accountability for their mistakes and stop taking advantage of everyone and treating everyone unjustly and unfairly, I will continue to spread the word and make sure that everyone knows how they conduct business and how bad their customer service is until there is a positive change, but until then... My voice will be heard!

While processing the order, there began to be more fees. Standard delivery fee (to be expected) and another fee for Saturday delivery & of course a vase fee. He also ended up adding a card for $3 and it was literally a peel off sticker...

The roses showed up at my work before the store was opened, (before 11 am & kind of takes away the surprise of having flowers delivered to you at work). They were in a huge, tight wrapped cardboard box with the peel off sticker "card" that was mixed into everything making me almost miss the card. Brought them home & the next morning 11 of the 24 roses were brown and tilted over. Needless to say, we will never order flowers from ProFlowers EVER again.

As others have mentioned, the cost of a $30 arrangement comes out to $70. That, however, is not my gripe. Flowers are expensive, I get that. Last week I ordered an arrangement from FTD that consisted of roses and carnations. It was delivered by a local florist and cost $80. For Valentine's Day, I ordered some Shari's Berries and they had a link to ProFlowers so I thought I would give them a try. They arrived via FedEx at 6 pm and were packed in a box. When they were placed in the vase, there were not nearly enough flowers to fill it and the flowers looked like crap, so bad that I was embarrassed to give them to the person they were intended for. When I pay that kind of money for flowers, I expect they are delivered already arranged and not in a box "do it yourself style."

I called ProFlowers and they apologized and said they would send another arrangement on Tuesday, but they will be the same thing. Do not use this place. They bait-and-switch with low prices that end up being as much or more than your local forest charges. Call FTD or any other florist that delivers your flowers. If they are shipped by FedEx, you are not going to be happy. I am going to contest this charge with American Express.

As a receiver of these flowers twice over the past 9 years, I hate getting flowers from your company. This last experience was just like my first. My husband ordered this year well before Valentines day, but forgot until the morning of that this may be the case. The receiver of flowers doesn't want to have to arrange them themselves, yet you have to. Flowers come bruised and squished tightly together. Both times, the flowers arrived AFTER I left for the location to be delivered, for the day while I was at that location for 6-8 on a normal business day. This time, the teddy bear didn't come and the flowers my husband ordered for our anniversary arrived with the flowers he ordered for Valentines Day. Our anniversary is 2/22!

It's not worth the discount he received for me to miss my delivery because my workday was done, unpack and arrange the flowers myself, and have to peel off the petals that are bruised and squished. It's ridiculous that while my husband sent me flowers, I wasn't there to receive them. They came while we were out to dinner! And the wow factor was one of distaste, not happy amazement. Save your recipient the trouble and pay a few extra dollars to have ARRANGED flowers delivered and done so within the time frame you expect them to be delivered.

I ordered, as I'm sure thousands of other people did for their loved ones, a bouquet of flowers with a vase for my girlfriend on Valentines day. I bought a $40 bouquet (Pink Romance), with a $13 vase (Pink Blush glass). The bouquet was on some discount, 20% off, I think. I know there were some handling type fees, but I figured they wouldn't be too bad... I paid about $72 with the discount. Awful. That's $20 in taxes and handling fees. WHAT? But before the flowers arrived, I'm assuming (as I've only done this once before, with a different company), that she'll be greeted by a friendly delivery person wishing her a "Happy Valentine's" and they handed this marvelous bouquet that is the size of a basketball. Nope. None of that was the case.

A FedEx delivery person rang the doorbell at 7 am, waking everyone in her house up, didn't stick around for a delivery confirmation (she lives downtown on a busy street, they could've easily been snagged). The flowers are in a box and the vase separate. The flowers barely stick out of the top of the vase (a vase recommended with that specific bouquet) and there's certainly not the quantity that the site suggests with its photo. And the flowers were already half wilted. Since today is still Valentine's Day, I have yet to know the exact vase-life of these flowers, but I'll be surprised if they last a week.

It's like fast food- you see this photo on their menu of what looks to be a delicious, cared for, quality entree. Then you pay the $4 for your double bacon cheeseburger. Once you get it, you realize that in fact, nothing coming out of this joint looks anything even remotely like that photo. That was my experience here - glorious advertising, extremely disappointed with the product. FAR too overpriced. Terrible display. Terrible delivery. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. Note: My past experience involved half the price, the happy middle-aged delivery guy and a wonderful bouquet. The delivery was timely, sensible and kind. Should've done that first company again.

He told them the driveway was fine, it was plowed, and if they didn't feel comfortable going up the driveway then he should've walked them up. Then they said if no one was home they didn't want to leave them outside due to the cold temps. You cannot tell me that EVERYONE was home for their delivery. There is no way that is possible. Then my boyfriend mentioned that there should've been no reason that they couldn't walk it up And they said that they had so many deliveries that they didn't have time to 'go out of their way'.

It's funny that if there is a snowstorm, if our driveway hasn't been plowed yet, UPS goes out of their way to walk our delivery up to our door, no matter what the weight, what the size. I praise UPS all the time for their hard work. ProFlowers should take a lesson from them. And the thing that tops the cake is that my boyfriend had to call to find out what happened. The next morning, I get an email stating they cannot deliver said arrangement and to choose designer's request, holiday bouquet or none. So I called them and was placed on hold for a very long time. I finally got someone who did not speak any English and could not change my order nor cancel it because they could neither communicate with me nor transfer me to a supervisor or other person who could speak English. He finally hung up on me! I called back and got ProFlowers (apparently before I was getting Florist Express and I don't understand how these 2 companies are connected).

This person told me he was at ProFlowers and I need to call Florist Express and gave me another number. Now, mind you, I called the number listed on the email that THEY sent me. I then called Florist Express and they told me to call ProFlowers. I called ProFlowers AGAIN and they told me to call Florist Express. I told them that both of the companies kept bouncing me back and forth and THEY needed to figure it out. So, she patched me to someone at F.E. who changed my order to something they COULD deliver on Friday the 13th. This was after AN HOUR AND A HALF ON THE PHONE! I get an email on Friday saying they cannot deliver that day, but they could deliver the next day. I called to make sure they could deliver on Saturday. After being on hold for 20 minutes before anyone came on the line, they ASSURED me they could deliver on Saturday.

Saturday morning, I get an email from Doug **, Head of Customer Care with a refund. Here is the email I received: "We are writing to let you know that, due to unforeseen issues, the SweetasaDaisy you recently ordered was not delivered as you had scheduled, and has been cancelled." First off, being in a long distance relationship isn't easy especially during the holidays. This Valentine's Day I ordered my girlfriend three bouquets of mixed flowers including lilies, roses and something else which came out to roughly 49.99 a piece and then the price of 6.99 for the vase and the outrageous shipping, handling and care prices. Not concerned about that. My concern was that I ordered two weeks in advance to make sure that my order was placed and would be shipped on time. However, when my girlfriend received her flowers, she only had ONE bouquet handed to her and gushed about it. This isn't the part I get mad, no. Unfortunately, the part where I'm fuming is the part when she opens her card and reads "Happy Love Day, Mom! You Rule! Love David!"

Both of us had to call in on multiple occasions because customer care kept hanging up on us and didn't attempt to try calling back. YOU WANT QUALITY? THIS IS NOT FOR YOU! UPDATE: Finally got a hold of someone and her flowers will be delivered by Tuesday at the least. Still not happy with this company because had I wanted her to have her flowers on a Tuesday, I would've driven them to Georgia from Texas myself and would've gotten them there on time.

Thank goodness I hadn't, as assembly is required. Basically, they fedex you a box of frozen flowers, your vase, and your chocolates (also frozen). Supposedly they perk up after 3-4 hours of being in the water with flower food. So unless you've planned 3-4 hours in advance, you're going to have some pretty laughably embarrassing flowers. I cannot stress how glad I am that I chose not to have these delivered to my S.O's work. At least now I have about an hour and a half to troubleshoot which will probably result in me having to go out and buy some more flowers. $60 wasted. Very disappointed.

The flowers were of very poor quality; many of the stems were broken or the rose buds fell off the stems when I removed them from the "do-it-yourself" assembly kit... very romantic. I have never been so disappointed upon the receipt of a gift and cannot believe that anyone would be so lazy as to orders flowers from this business. Read the reviews online... one man said it well "A great way to send a cardboard box to the one you love."

It is unfortunate that this company is in business and that celebs like Mike and Mike endorse them. You are wasting your money if you buy flowers from ProFlowers. You can buy beautiful flowers at your local grocery store at less than half the price. Men, if you want to take the lazy way out, go to your local florist's website and order flowers. Not worth the money. First of all they come on a Fedex truck in a do it yourself kit....so whoever you’re sending them to on Valentine’s Day (or other occasion) has to unpack them, arrange them and everything themselves. When online it doesn't even mention that. It seems like they’re going to come already made, in the vase and everything. But nope, they are not full or vibrant as the online pictures appear to be. A lot of false advertising. I ordered the rainbow long stemmed roses and they have NO red roses in them even though the online pictures appear to show them. They are Walmart quality roses for 10x the price. The only good thing is that they arrived on time... But for $20 in shipping costs they better of.

I am so disappointed and truly wish I would of looked up reviews before hand, but you don't really think of that with a website that appears to be doing so well and I've even seen really good advertising for them online on other sites. Don't be fooled, save your money and go to a local florist instead...or Walmart and make a nicer bouquet yourself. Very embarrassed to have sent them to my friend. The picture with "with chocolates" is the online version of what I ordered....that was my expectations, the pictures that follow are what were received. Totally unacceptable!

When the arrangement arrived, it was pathetic. I received 12 roses (none red), all pastel - pink, yellow, peach white. It looked more like an Easter arrangement. Half of the flowers were brown and on the verge of turning - 2 of the flowers looked flat - like someone had sat on them...lol. Maybe 2 of the flowers were actually in good shape. Very disappointing - especially if you are trying to make an impression.

Also, with shipping, the total came to 50.00??!! Honestly, I have seen better flower arrangements at Wal-Mart for 10.00. I, like everyone else placed a order online. We were sending flowers to a friend for her birthday, when I placed the order I didn't know she would be out of town. I found out a few hours after I placed the order. I immediately called and changed the delivery date. The CSR assured me everything was changed and they would be delivered the following week. Well that definitely was NOT the case. The flowers arrived on the original date and were placed in the DOORSTEP! To a home no one would be at till the following week! Luckily her sister was still in town and was able to swing by and grab them and place them inside.

Here's where the MAJOR issue came into play. The picture she sent of the flowers that were delivered look NOTHING like what we ordered. We paid $60 for this arrangement and it looked like a 2 year old went out and picked flowers and put this together. It was horrible! Half the flowers were already dying and it didn’t even include a 1/3rd of the flowers it was suppose to. I was honestly embarrassed for sending this arrangement!! So naturally I called pro flowers and what did I get??? A 20% off discount for my NEXT order. This was my first time ever using them and it was a bad experience. So I don't know what they were thinking to assume I would EVER use them again. I explained this to the CSR and all she could say was "That's all I can do for you." Seriously?!? So I called them, a rude lady with African American accent who didn’t even introduce herself said the orders are processed right after the payment. I was like how do you mean? She said the orders receive a tracking number right after the checkout. She said if I wanted the number, I said yes since I never got it through any communication so I tried to be as kindly and courteous as possible. Anyway I got off the phone. I look the number up. It didn’t exist, so I called back. This time a nicer lady answered and tried to help me out. She said that yes there is a tracking number and the order was put for "processing" so I told her about it. I told her that I looked it up and didn't exist. She said that it takes time for the shipping companies to update it, I said, “No way that's not true, you tracking works right after.”

Anyway they wouldn't refund my money even though I clearly asked right after the money was taken from my account. I have contacted my financial institution and checked on my PayPal and it says that 53 dollars were debited today from my account. No refund shows up at all. I am wondering if you guys charged me twice because I just got a notification that the money was again debited. I ordered one dozen mixed long stem roses which included the vase and a small box of chocolates for $29.95. Four days later, Proflowers is advertising Two dozen mixed roses, vase, and chocolates for the same price. I contacted customer service to see if they would upgrade my order to the two dozen roses.

Why woman wouldn't want twice as many flowers right?

I was told that the order had already been processed and wouldn't be able to upgrade, but that I saved $7.50 on delivery for ordering early. Customer Service rep was nice, but couldn't help me. Next year I guess all wait till the last week to get the best deal. I am disappointed that for the same price, my wife will receive less. I just sent a Valentine arrangement (via the ProFlowers website) to a friend. I assumed there where shipping charges, but when ordering it does not show the amount UNTIL YOU SUBMIT YOUR ORDER. Ordered a "special" bouquet for $19.00. Shipping fee was $12.99, Valentine delivery fee $4.99, handling and care fee $2.99 and then taxes. So, I paid $21 in delivery fees alone for a $19 bouquet. I called the 800 number immediately and after listening to the prompts - was on hold for 5 minutes, was disconnected. Nowhere on their site does it say there was an extra charge for Valentine delivery, nor handling and care fees. If I had read all of their poor reviews ahead of time, I would have never ordered. I have used ProFlowers a couple of times. Every time I get their emails, there is this great advertised price. However, once you log in, fill out the paperwork and give your credit card number, at the last possible minute, extra charges appear. For example even if the website says "$4.99" weekday shipping, they charge you more - three times more! So, I called. Again, you have to start your order over again, from the beginning, go through every screen and then, after the customer service agent has you invest another 20 minutes - minimum - of your time, the mysterious charges appear and she or he tells you that it is because of this or that and that they have no control over it. The real problem is the reason for the extra charges is hidden until the end (literally the last screen) in the hopes that you have invested so much time that you will continue with the purchase.

So today, I have an hour of my day wasted and no order to show for it. If they had just been up front about the "actual" price and not wasted my time with false promises or claims, I could have made a decision up front. This time I just was not willing to pay the extra, secret-hidden fees. It literally more than doubled the advertising price. Dishonest advertising. Misleading website. Stay away from them. I know I will - what a royal waste of my time.

Placed order Friday AM for Monday delivery. Floral selection not available, notified by e-mail, fine. Monday at noon, receive e-mail to notify can't deliver "due to location". Spend 30 minutes on hold with Proflowers, 30 minutes on hold with sister company. When asked why no one communicated earlier so I could make alternate arrangements, I got a feigned apology. Told I would have to pay $40 upgrade to get them delivered a day late, the day after I requested after they failed to make the delivery on time and substituted the arrangement I declined.

Finally after much debate they agreed to deliver the next day. Well like a replay, the EXACT SAME THING happens again. No delivery. No communication. What a waste of time. I spend another 30 minutes on hold with Proflowers, 30 minutes on hold with the sister company. Finally speak with a manager who tries to say they can't find a shop to deliver it. Fake apologies again.

No response for why no one followed up to ensure they were delivered either time. I asked if they were so sorry why didn't they follow up the next morning to ensure it got delivered as they told me it would? A statement was made that they sent me a notification e-mail on the day after they didn't deliver again saying that they wouldn't be able to deliver again. Well, no such e-mail exists. I have no faith in Proflowers at this point to make any kind of delivery. I requested a refund, a formal complaint be submitted to a higher up, and a letter of explanation to my family.

Issued refund and offered a $25 credit on my next order which was later conveniently retracted and only the refund was issued. Requested they send a letter to my mom to explain what happened. The manager told me she didn't have access to e-mail as she was "on the night shift" and that was "not part of her job description". So I said you don't have a pen and paper you can use, didn't she want to go above and beyond given what I had gone through, that I had wasted 3 hours of my time trying to get this delivered which still has not been delivered and she doesn't even have the decency to offer to write a letter explaining what happened?

Then I could at least be able to prove that I did try to send flowers in time for my mom's birthday (who by now probably thinks I forgot). The manager then quickly said "I've issued a refund have a good night" and proceeded to hang up on me! I never once used foul language, nothing. I knew I was not going to have any resolution tonight, it's 7-8pm, all the florists are closed, but out of principle they weren't going to get away with not being held accountable and I wanted an explanation. I was also placed on hold several times during the two days without having an option to say no.

Proflowers utterly failed in this service attempt, prohibited me on TWO separate occasions from going with another service provider by neglecting to communicate with me on both delivery attempts, didn't take the effort and time I spent communicating to their customer service department to correct their actions or even listen for that matter (all 2 managers I spoke with cut me off or apologized over and over instead of listening). Hung up on me. The first manager laughed 2 separate times, 2 customer service agents laughed when I wanted to speak directly to a manager and when I refused to keep repeating myself like some sort of idiot verifying the order for 5 different people over and over and over again. Or entering my order number in the automated system only to be asked for it again on the phone by an outsourced employee.

Worst part is, had they just COMMUNICATED Friday, Saturday, or Sunday vs. noon the day of delivery my mom would have flowers for her birthday I could have gotten from another service provider. This is an absolute joke of a company. The last manager's "not in my job description" response was just "the icing on the cake to the entire situation, which I also told her. So typical, unfortunately. The fact that the first "manager" laughed 2 separate times at my misfortune, you wonder how 2 separate people like this at this company got promoted. They at least called my mom to read the card to her a day late just now and I did get a confirmation of refund from the head of customer care.

Still a totally disappointing and frustrating experience. Anyone from Proflowers reading, I was a customer for 5 consecutive years and had 4 separate family member reminders set up for different occasions, which I just deleted one by one and unsubscribed from your worthless, empty e-mail reminders.

A couple of weeks ago I placed 2 Orders to be delivered to 2 different locations for 2 family funerals. They were supposed to be EXACTLY THE SAME IN VALUE AND APPEARANCE. WHY? Because I PAID EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNT FOR BOTH ORDERS AND ORDERED EXACTLY THE SAME ITEMS.

Because I had previously used Pro Flowers, and believed them to be professional and dependable for quality and satisfaction, I chose them for this occasion. I am sad to say that one of the orders was both embarrassing and disappointing. Although the second order was not exactly as pictured (no blooming plant was included and the photo showed an azalea), the family was pleased with it. The first order, however forced me to apologize to everyone involved for my choice of provider. I wish I had looked up and read recent reviews. It is stressful enough to have to attend 2 funerals in one day. I thought the flowers were something that I could depend on being a fitting representation of our love and sympathy for the grieving.

After my 2 emails, the company responded to the lack of a blooming plant in the larger arrangement with a small (less than 5% discount) credit. They did not even address the discrepancies between the orders and the items that were supposed to be sent.

I ask for a supervisor again and the supervisor comes and says "the best we can do is cancel or send them tomorrow. We will give a refund of 25% on the order. Take it." Why can't they understand a simple thing that it is not about money or refund, if it was only about money we would have not spend so much in the first place to order. It is the emotion that matters.

They simply are disgusting, don't care if they lose a customer. This would be the last order from me to them. Finally after we determined they in fact were not delivered, I asked what would be done for our inconvenience, she told me she would not charge me the delivery charge to deliver them Friday (today). I said I was appalled to even think she was considering charging me again for your mistake.

After having to be transferred to someone who could communicate better than her, that next woman - Solsa is how she spelled her name - apologized, after making me start from the beginning and explain everything ALL over again and said she would immediately email me a $40 future credit. Never received the credit, but that is ok because I will never be using pro flowers again. She also stated the flowers would be there no later than noon Friday (today). I send my mother back to the home to be there for the flowers and she calls me at 10am, she tells me to check my email for a picture of what had came. I opened my email and was immediately disgusted, so infuriated I called the florist. Their explanation was the Pro Flowers hadn't paid them adequately. Again, not my problem.

These flowers looked like they had been purchased at a gas station days ago then stomped on and assembled by a 2 yr old. Again, I've attached the flowers for your viewing pleasure. So needless to say, I've left a pretty informative review on the florist's website and informed all my local friends and family to stay far away from using them and will be doing the same for Pro Flowers. This is the worst service I've ever received and should have never given someone other than FTD a chance.

I ordered flowers for my mom using ProFlowers and I did this on the internet. Initially, the purchase looked really good and I was happy with the price until the total amount was revealed. On the ProFlowers website, the shipping cost is more less hidden on the far bottom corner of the screen. In fact, you have to scroll way down to see the shipping cost which is a ridiculous amount that's more than double the price of my order!

I wanted to have ProFlowers send something to my wife who was in the hospital over Thanksgiving. When it didn't show up on the desired date, I checked my email to find that they couldn't make the delivery date and wanted to know if I wanted to change it. Being it the Thanksgiving, I called the special number and spoke to a "Customer Service Rep." After they took the replacement order they made the promise (and they should never do this) that it would be there the next morning at the hospital. I was hoping for the best. The next day came and went, so I called the hospital front desk to see if the flowers were delivered and there was nothing there. I then checked my order online and found that NO ONE had picked up the ProFlowers Order for delivery. I immediately called and cancelled the order. Then on top of it all, they claim that they would only credit me a partial refund for a waiting period. So I called again and got the runaround. Eventually, I did get the full refund, but I will NEVER, and I mean NEVER use ProFlowers again.

I placed a special order of a bouquet for my Mom a few days in advance (obviously for a special day). On the 11th hour they sent me an email telling me they could not put together the bouquet that I had selected but could send their own choice in place of mine because they could not fulfill my selection. So now that I no longer have the time and resources to select the bouquet of my choice, I now have to settle for a random bouquet selected by a local florist. I am so completed disturbed, furious and outraged. This practice is so infuriated and is clearly taking full advantage of my helpless position. If I wanted to have a random inferior crappy bouquet sent to my mother on her special day, I could have chosen hundreds of other providers. I originally chose this company because I was able to make a specific choice amongst many arrangements well in advance and to be able to relax the day the flowers were to be delivered.

Moreover, after I had already paid for my purchase during the checkout process, they also sent an advisement that in order to have the delivery during 9-5 (not after hours) I would have to pay an extra $15 to guarantee delivery before 5:00pm. SERIOUSLY??? It is not even busy season like Thanksgiving or Christmas or Valentine's day and I placed the order days in advance, why would they not be able to deliver the bouquet during 9-5?? This company is outright shady and they play this game to deliberately try to extract an extra $15 dollars more from me. This company is unethical, deceptive and dishonest. They have caused me a great deal of frustration, stress and anxiety due to their dishonesty. I was trying to do something nice for someone on a special day and due to their shady tactics they have turned this experience into a nightmare. I urge the public not to deal with the company and I hope they close down very soon.

I am truly disappointed in your online description on how flowers to a recipient, in this case a loved one. Don't know if I didn't read fine print or what not, but as a customer I am lead to believe that I am ordering from you. You then have a local florist in Tampa that delivers the flowers in a vase and fully bloomed and my partner is overjoyed and overwhelmed to see how much I love her in the effort I have made to relay that message. In your I am sending flowers in an ugly cardboard box to her job, in front of her coworkers. This is not a traditional way of sending flower to a loved one at her place of employment and this is where your website is misleading. Luckily I wasn't sending flower to a funeral of a dying family member. Well as you may notice I am not happy about this whole ordeal and will post this same email on any online review site I can find. This is extremely embarrassing and don't think I will be able to look at my girlfriend in the face when I get home. #Veryunsatisfiedpreviouscustomer

I had used Proflowers many times before. I decided to send flowers to my daughter, who had been sick for an extended amount of time. I wanted to surprise her. That didn't happen. The express delivery was delayed a day. I was told they had to substitute my selection with a different one. They were supposed to be delivered the next day. They gave me a $15 credit for the inconvenience . The next day my order was completely canceled and they said they couldn't find a local florist to deliver them. That wasn't true. My daughter has florists all around her in Indianapolis. I have called literally 7 times. Keep getting promised a complete refund. It's been three weeks and nothing refunded. So upset!
