I have ordered flowers for out of town relatives from this company for many years. However, the last 3 orders have not lived up to expectations for the price charged. My Mother's Day order of 2 dozen flowers arrived in very poor condition. I contacted the company and they offered a partial refund. My most recent holiday order of roses arrived in a different vase than what I ordered, and had a red plaid ribbon that read, "Merry". I think that for the final price charged (the roses were a good price, but then the extra charges of delivery, taxes and other fees which really add up) was a bit much for the product. I will not be ordering again from this company.

Before I retired, I worked in customer service for about 40 years. I need to say ProFlowers has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I received a bouquet of flowers from my son in Michigan today. The envelope that says "Someone is thinking of you" was empty. I have more than one son who uses ProFlowers and I thought that was something that customer service should know so I called and spoke to Shawn. He kept saying he could read me the message and I said that was not the point. He kept talking about your privacy policy. I did not know who to thank for the gift. He could not understand why it was important to know who sent the flowers to me.
I called back and spoke to Rolian and he said about the same thing. Neither rep could understand why that is important for the recipient to know. He kept talking about the privacy policy and that this is a busy time of the year. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said none was available. I asked to have one call me and he said I should call back later and hope a supervisor would be available. A female supervisor finally came on the line and she said her name was Sam. No one spoke to seemed to think this was important. I will tell my son not to use ProFlowers again. It has always been my experience that if you receive good customer service, you will tell 3 people but if you receive poor customer service, you will tell 11 people. This is a shame... I think I only wanted someone to say they were sorry.

I sent Proflowers feedback and they immediately responded by refunding all delivery fees associated with my delivery. This response was unexpected and very appreciated, and will now include this merchant in future flower selections and delivery considerations.

I spent considerable time selecting a holiday flower arrangement, and the experience of ordering through ProFlowers has been very disappointing. Not to mention, time spent calling customer service to investigate shipping charges associated with my order. The following shipping charges were not disclosed until I was asked to hit the confirm order button. Shipping, $14.99, Rush Delivery, $4.99, Care and Handling, $2.99.
The site asked that I select an order date and nowhere was it disclosed that certain dates were considered rush dates. I phoned customer service and they agreed to reverse the rush shipping of $4.99, however as I paid through Paypal (a preferred ProFlowers payment merchant) they were unable to support return of the rush shipping fee due to a third-party payment system. Upon confirmation my order, I was given the option to select a link advertising $15.00 shipping rebate. The shipping rebate was only good if I signed up for a 30-day free trial with another company, Freeshipping.com. The companies ordering process lack credibility. My $38.00 order after shipping became $59.00.

All floral delivery services offer a wide variety of flowers and arrangements, but whenever I've ordered from ProFlowers the flowers themselves have invariably lasted @ 2 weeks. Now, I'm not an expert, so whether it's because the flowers are cut to order, or they give them a little blast of food when they pack them, it is good to see flowers that look out of the box fresh for so much longer than those I got from anywhere else. Nothing I've gotten from local retailers has lasted this long. It's easy - go to website, look up arrangements by purpose, scroll through and pick what you want. Plenty of discount codes available too. It all helps.

I ordered flowers on Monday to be delivered next day. They charged me $15 for delivery. The order never arrived and I had to call customer service 4 times, spent up to 20 minutes on hold. Their customer service is terrible. The representatives are hard to understand. Finally I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company and I am still waiting for the resolution. I do not recommend Proflowers at all.

I previously used 1-800-Flowers. Several years ago I tried Proflowers.com and was very satisfied with their services. I've been using them since. Today is my 31st anniversary. Last Wednesday I ordered flowers for my wife. The delivery date was for yesterday Saturday 11/26/16. In addition to $15 delivery charge I was charged an additional $10 for Saturday delivery. The flowers never arrived. I gave it until 7pm and then called... they told me "there was a delay" and that they would be delivered on Tuesday 11/29. Totally unacceptable. I requested a refund. Unfortunately I was speaking with a girl who could barely speak English and had a rapid static type speech that was unintelligible. I asked for a confirmation email for the cancellation and refund. I didn't receive that, nor did my bank account reflect a refund.
I called again today and asked for a supervisor. Got the same girl. Said she could help me. Refused to contact a supervisor. Went over the same information with serious difficulty in understanding her. They made no effort to save the situation -- like maybe making a special delivery today. Nothing. I'm lucky if I get a refund. Their services have deteriorated. I won't be using them again. And I'll also be telling everyone I know not to use them. It's bad enough that you have to hope you get what you ordered but it's worse to have to fight for a refund and the company does not even hire people for phone work that can be understood during conversation. Seems like they just don't care. I hope their customers take the same stance and don't care about using them for flower delivery. Terrible!!! Worst customer service.

I have been ordering from ProFlowers for years now, and never had any issues and always had beautiful arrangements sent. This year I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday 3 weeks in advance. I received an email asking I update the credit card I was using. When I called and spoke with customer service they informed me the arrangement I ordered was no longer available. I changed the order that day and they assured me it would be delivered without issue. The day of her birthday I woke to another email from ProFlowers stating that the flowers I ordered were no longer available.
When I called the customer assistant told me that they do not have anyone in the area who can deliver arrangements at all. I asked her how that could be as this is the 5th year I have used their services in that area. She did nothing to check or see if there was a way to help me out since it was the day of. When I asked to talk to a manager she told me I would have to call back later. If the company had told me two weeks ago that there were no florists in the area that could deliver I wouldn't be upset, but the day of after talking to customer representatives twice and having to change my order twice is very frustrating. I will no longer be using ProFlowers.

I have been using ProFlowers for years. I recently ordered a Thanksgiving centerpiece and a flower bouquet at the same time. Both items were going to my home to be delivered on the same day. When I got to checkout I found that there were two separate and distinct delivery charges, one for each item. That made no sense to me whatsoever. One order, one delivery charge, never had I seen where you are charged per item as a separate delivery charge. I contacted ProFlowers and was told that dipped berries, fruit baskets and other gourmet gifts come from different locations, are not packed together thus necessitating separate delivery charges. I informed them that I was not ordering, dipped berries, fruit baskets or other gourmet gifts but flowers.
I received another email after voicing my complaint once again in another email and was told that each item incurs their own shipping costs even though going to one address and was basically told there is nothing we can do about that. I also had told them they could remove my name from their email lists which they said they would do and that it would take ten days. WOW!!! Great customer service. Thank you. You lost a good customer and could care less. The incident #s I received from ProFlowers is in the order box number. There are two.

I placed an order for same day delivery, and paid the extra fee. I received an immediate confirmation email confirming my delivery date. Almost a full 24 hours later I called to follow up. I was told that they could not find a florist that was open on Sunday. I was very upset since at this point they had taken my money. The rep I had spoke to put me on hold for ten minutes and then came back and told me that he was able to find a florist after all and promised that they would be delivered. When I called back a couple hours later I was told by another Rep that there was a mistake and that my sister would not be receiving her birthday bouquet. This Rep apologized profusely, and even called my sister to accept blame on behalf of the company. She told me that she would make it right and refund the extra delivery charge for the weekend, and throw in some strawberries.
I called the next day to track my delivery only to be told that they were not able to locate a florist who could make my particular arrangement. REALLY?!. At this point I was over it. I told them that I wanted to cancel my order and I expected a full refund for $98.93. I explained to them that I had used a non-reloadable CC. They sent me to their "floral refund expert", and after being on hold for 32 minutes I was hung up on. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB for theft. I wish I would have looked up their reviews prior to giving them my money!

Word to the wise... Don't ever use Pro-Flowers, if you want a floral arrangement to arrive to your mother on her first anniversary, without your father. I should have known better, should have ordered local. I just liked the arrangement I saw. If you do use them, prepare to have your order not even ship on the date it was promised to be delivered, have the money pulled out of your account before it even shipped, get to speak to Kimberly in Customer Service in South America, who repeatedly assured me she knew exactly how I felt, when she had no idea how badly I feel and there was no manager on shift to speak to and there wouldn't be, and then get to speak to Matthew in Corporate, who was lovely in terms of a difficult situation.
He's perfect for call center work with lovely manners, appropriate empathy and soothing voice, but the most he could do was put through a request to refund my money. Sorry guys Eileen **, Zerbe and Jim ** for messing up and sorry Flowers by Jennie ** for not using you like I normally do. I'm not thinking clearly. So I went on ProFlowers.com to buy a flower arrangement for someone's birthday and have had nothing but a bad experience. I did wait for the last minute to order BUT according to the ProFlowers delivery calendar, they supposedly had same day delivery for an additional cost. I found the arrangement that fit the occasion and proceeded with the checkout also adding a greeting card for an additional 4.99. I placed the order 10/22/2016 at 11:30 am Eastern time understanding to my knowledge that with paying an additional 14.99 for express shipping, the recipient would receive it later that day. Seemed reasonable for such short notice so I follow through with the checkout and come to find out that not only did they charge 14.99 for standard service Shipping, they also charged 4.99 for "weekend" service and another 4.99 for "Saturday" same day service, a total of 25.00.
I continue with the checkout and pay a total of 74.85 between flowers and service fees assuming that they would arrive today. It is now 9:35 pm and the recipient has not received anything. After waiting all day to give them the benefit of the doubt, I called customer service at 7:30 pm and spoke to a representative that said "I will get in touch with the florist to find out the status of your order and I will call you back." Knowing they're not going to call because it's already so late and I'm sure the flower shop is closed and they don't deliver on Sunday. I waited another hour and called again and they gave me the same response.
So I said I would just like a refund and don't need the flowers anymore if they're not going to be there today. Why pay the extra fees for shipping if they're not going to be there when needed. He replied "well we have to wait to see what the florist says and then we can proceed with the refund." So now I have to wait until Monday to find out whether or not they're going to deliver the flowers or give me a refund. Not happy with this experience and not happy with the customer service at all.

I orders a funeral spray to be delivered for our mother. When we arrived, the spray had not been delivered! We were so disappointed! Approximately 45 minutes later, during the funeral service, the spray was delivered and it was horrible. We ordered the deluxe arrangement, and what was delivered was so cheesy, full of baby breath, which were not even shown in the picture on their website. The quality of roses was poor. We were so disappointed in our last time to give our mom roses. Originally, I was told they would reimburse us 30% of our money, but after speaking with a supervisor, we're reimbursed all of our money. The default order on the mobile site was 'deluxe', and I selected 'small'. When I got to checkout, both the deluxe and the small were in my cart, with no way to delete the unwanted deluxe. I closed out that order, without ever seeing any sort of 'confirm here' page. Opened a new order confirming just the 'small', and proceeded thru PayPal. Discovered the next day that three orders were shipped, each with a 'handling' fee of $15, even though to same address. Three levels of customer service later, with the obvious error in front of her, 'Dilencia' held the line at pennies on the dollar off only the 'unwanted' two orders, nothing off the 'handling' fee. $50 off a total of $180, representing $120 worth of shipments I never intended. "We see what you were trying to do," she said, "but that is the best we can do."
I told her she should be ashamed of profiting on an error, and she remained silent, the sound of other complaining customers in the background. I hope I order many flowers for loved ones in the future, and will go out of my way to do so with any other service than ProFlowers. They simply have no concept of customer service. Do yourself a favor and NEVER order from this company. Do you want to send someone flowers or do you want to send them dirty, wilted, damaged flowers in a tacky cardboard box loaded with ProFlowers labeling on everything from the card to the exterior of the package? It doesn't come off good to anyone you care about. The only reason I can see ordering from ProFlowers is if you send them to yourself so you know how bad they are prior to NOT giving them to someone else. Local florists, grocery stores, Sam's Club/Costco or farmers markets are better. There is one thing you're guaranteed to have with your order from ProFlowers. REGRET.

Then they want to so call honor me a coupon for more than what I paid and charge me the difference on my credit. What people do for money. I will never order from them again. See what I ordered and what I got (images below). A disgrace. For what I paid I could have done better buying at the corner grocery store and spent way less. Email I received said "Thank you for taking the time to let us know about the pleasant experience you had with one of our customer service representatives...." I'm a flower girl, I absolutely love flowers and plants. I randomly send flowers to friends and family just for the heck of it. I wanted to give ProFlowers a try. The pics on their website are beautiful. False advertisement. I sent my parents a bouquet of 100 blooms and when the "box", yes BOX not bouquet arrived my parents weren't at home. The lovely delivery guy left the "BOX" of flowers on their porch in 98-degree weather. The "box" was outside for over 2 hours. Inside the box was a nightmare. The flowers were like trash, a soggy mess. The stems were about 8 inches too long for the $.50 vase that was provided.
I called their CS and requested a refund. I was advised I would receive my refund within 5-7 days. That time has passed and still no refund. This is the worst company ever. I've NEVER been so dissatisfied with a company. The surprise for my parents was ruined by them and now I'm still waiting on my refund. I absolutely hate this company. In a world where so many of us order online I believe companies need to be impeccable in what they are offering. Meaning what you see online and what you receive should be pretty close. Would you agree? I order a flower arrangement for my mother-in-law's birthday. I ordered it in advance so that it would be delivered on her birthday, which fell on a Saturday. I paid extra to have it delivered on that Saturday. I ordered the arrangement called "Laughing Lavender" as seen in the first picture below. What was delivered was the hideous arrangement that is mostly green with a few white flowers.
When I saw what my mom-in-law posted on Facebook I was horrified! I mean really? What florist would deliver an arrangement like that? The third picture is what was re-delivered. I spent about an hour on the phone talking to someone on why another delivery needed to be made that day. For most of the hour I was being told that the arrangement I wanted was not available until the next week and finally after I asked to speak to the manager-on-duty did he finally agree to send something out same day. Yes it was a nice arrangement but wouldn't you say the florist that delivered the original arrangement should pay for this? What I really wanted to understand from Pro-Flowers is how does this happen? At any rate, DO NOT ORDER FROM PRO-FLOWERS. I have read many reviews that have shared similar stories.

I recently ordered what was pictured as a beautiful pink Azalea bush in a white ceramic/glass planter/vase for the funeral. It was the mother of a close friend I've had since childhood and I loved the idea of her taking this bush out of the planter, putting it in the yard, and thinking of her mother every time she looked at it. When I went to the funeral it was nowhere in sight so I started taking notice trying to find it. At this point I was worried that my plant hadn't been shipped at all. When I finally found what was sent with my card I couldn't believe my eyes. It was a small basket, barely larger than the small box of tissues sitting next to it, with some mixed plants in it, nothing she would be removing and planting in her yard that would have her thinking of her mom for years to come and certainly nothing I would have picked if it had been offered in the first place.
To say I was mad would be an understatement but more than that I was disappointed because of how much I knew the plant would have meant to my friend. I called ProFlowers the next day and after speaking with several people the best they could do for me was a 40% refund. All I really wanted was for them to send the Azalea to her but since the funeral was already over they wouldn't send it because it would have been a change of address.
Now I'm out the 60% of the original price for the hideous arrangement they sent plus the shipping and service charges (they weren't going to refund any of that) and the amount it's going to cost me to go buy a bush for my friend because that's what I wanted her to have in the first place and ProFlowers took that opportunity away. I know they are sometimes forced to make substitutions but this wasn't even close to comparable in style, size, price range, or color. Needless to say, I will never order from ProFlowers again.

You are obliged to repeat details on your order over and over again while they write it all down again (even though this is supposed to be online). They misunderstand you and you have to repeat details, or they doubt that your billing address is what you say it is. This is the first time out of ten orders that I have had this experience having to talk with them. They don't seem to have any kind of empathy, express any kind of sorry about the delay on their part. All this makes me very concerned about the quality of the delivery and what will transpire, adding to the stress with regard to my relative in the hospital. Also, you wonder whether any of your personal information which is stored in multiple places (online and in their country database) is secure.

I will NEVER order from ProFlowers again. First and last time. My mom is a breast cancer survivor and loves calla lilies, so for Mother's Day I ordered an item advertised as "Pink Calla Lily for Mom" or something like that. It was specifically described and pictured as a PINK calla lily, and I paid extra for a basket with a PINK bow, also as pictured. She received a YELLOW calla lily in the pink bow basket, which completely defeated my purpose for sending her a symbolic pink flowering plant. She also said FedEx laid the package on its side when they knocked on her door briefly and left without waiting for an answer. The plant was permanently drooped over to one side as if it had been on its side for quite some time. FedEx is not at fault. They are not a floral delivery service.
If ProFlowers used a specialized floral delivery service this would never have happened. I emailed ProFlowers expressing my disappointment and included the order number in the subject line and text. They emailed back stating they couldn't identify the order, then proceeded to ask for the address to which it was sent, was it in the United States, etc. Infuriating. I responded rather irately. I received another response apologizing for the mix-up. They offered to send another plant or refund my $70. I chose the refund and never heard from them again. Then, I ordered flowers for my Mom's birthday that were specifically picked out because they said "BEYOND BLUE BOUQUET" which had a pretty dark blue glass vase. I didn't choose this arrangement for the flowers, but for the dark blue vase because she collects dark blue glass.

They put me on hold and said they would call the local florist, came back on the line and said there was no answer and that they could deliver them the next day. I didn't want them delivered the next day because that was not her bday. I asked if I could get the number of the local florist they were using so I could continue to try and call to reach them. Then I was told that they couldn't give out that information. Like it was a huge secret!!!
I decided to call back about 5:00 pm. They then put me on hold called the local florist, and came back on the line and said the florist denied the order. I asked for everything to just be canceled. She said they have until 8:00 pm to make the delivery, and if it didn't happen they would deliver the next day. My next replacement order arrived on Wednesday, May 10 at my request, but this time I did not receive an email or tracking information to verify they had been sent; they arrived around 6:00 p.m. This time, I received the 24 with a combination of true long stemmed variety plus regular roses in the mix (the regular have very thin stems). Most of the roses were already opening rather than in bud form. Several of these roses have completely wilted and the rest look much older than the one day old which they are. I do not plan to contact customer service again as I think the problem is inconsistent product and no matter how many times I call, each order with be different. Only the true long stemmed roses lasted close to the 7 day... most were dead or wilting well before.

I placed an order for some roses to be delivered 5/10/2016. It was a surprise for my Godmother that lives in TX. The flowers online looked AMAZING. I picked some colorful roses that looked full and lively. I get a picture from my Godmother and she said thank you for the flowers. Obviously she wasn't planning on complain but they looked HORRIBLE. I wanted to cry out of fury. The flowers didn't even fill up the vase. I ordered 2 dozen and it looked like only 12 were in the vase. The petals were falling down it honestly looked like I shipped the flowers myself!!! I called to complain and they offered to reship a nicer better order but it would take 2 additional days for her to receive, I agreed. The reshipment order looked much better but I shouldn't have to go through the hassle of going through all this to get what I requested the first time especially for $80.00.

I even selected Saturday to play it safe and because the recipient was going to be out of the house on Sunday (Sunday delivery was also an option). I paid extra for weekend delivery. No delivery Saturday. Contacted them and no response. No delivery Sunday. They delivered on Monday. I contacted them and they didn't respond until I said I would file a credit card dispute. Then they said they could not help me because I selected "local florist design" which means I let the florist shop decide what flowers are best. Therefore they could not help me. When I placed this order, my "contract" and business was with ProFlowers not a secondary business. All I wanted was my shipping costs credited to be fair and they would not consider that. I ordered 2 sets of flowers for Mother's Day and they were dried, limbs were broken and petals fallen off upon arrival. I was so disappointed because it was for Mother's Day, a special day and to give your parents dried, it's a shame, for someone to sell these flowers and not to mention how expensive it is and the shipping is almost the same price as the dried falling off petals. I think they should get a fine for this selling people things like this. Or shut the business down.

As many have noted here I placed an order, paid the extra fees for rushed delivery, and Mother's Day came and went with no flowers. I called Monday morning and got a customer service agent who was almost impossible to understand and who hung up on me about 1/2 way through the call. Called back and yet again got routed through two more people that don't speak anything close to understandable English. My daughter-in-law sent flowers for Mother's Day, May 9, 2016, or so she thought. They arrived on Friday dead as can be. I'm not sure how long they were out of water but they were all dried up. I followed the instructions, adding water along with the packet, changing it on the 3rd day and they are still awful. One blossom did open, somewhat, the others are all dried and I don't believe they will ever open. I called the company and they said they would send out "fresh" flowers on Tuesday, May 10, but they never arrived. I have a tracking # that states they were processed & picked up at 3:09 am on 5/9/16 in California, I live in Florida. It is now 2:09 pm on 5/11/16 and still no flowers.
I'm sure after being out of water for 58 hours plus by the time they are delivered they too will be dead. I feel so bad for my children, they tried to do something nice. I asked ProFlowers if the flowers came from San Diego as stated on the return label on the box. They told me they were from a local florist where I live in Florida. Not so, according to the tracking # from UPS. NEVER use ProFlowers, use a local florist & delivery service. I want them to get a charge back on their credit card.

I ordered a $60 arrangement for Mother's Day, to be delivered on 6 May. Paid extra to guarantee the delivery date. It wasn't delivered at all. Called ProFlowers the day after Mother's Day, 9 May, they promised to resend. It wasn't sent, at least to the address I typed and then told them repeatedly. It's now May 10th. They told me today that they couldn't get a local florist to agree to fill the order yesterday, so they just didn't send it or tell me. I found out by calling them tonight (after I called Mom). All they offered was a refund -- no complimentary arrangement or anything. Bottom line: My mom didn't get anything besides a phone call from me -- which is thankfully, to her, enough. But to a son who wanted to send her something special, I just feel let down. And there's no turning back the clock.
FedEx claims they delivered it, but they likely got the address wrong (as they have with other things in the past), even with specific instructions. I'm disappointed, angry, and frankly, done with ProFlowers forever. I'll never order from them again. You can't get five orders right, and one order so very wrong, and expect any customer to return -- ever go to a restaurant, have five good experiences, and the sixth time they can't find your table, or give you moldy fettuccine alfredo and say "Sorry"? As for FedEx, they couldn't care less -- affects them absolutely zero. I'll be sending my gifts personally via UPS in the future, and they won't be flowers. Unless I'm sending them to ProFlowers, and then they will be Stinging Nettles with a side of vomit-flavored jelly beans. And pictures of clowns and mimes, just to freak them out some more. ProFlowers, you are awarded zero points, and may God have mercy upon your black soul.

Wow, what an awful company ProFlowers is now. I will NEVER purchase anything from your terrible company ever again!! Your company use to be pro, but that's ancient history. Mr. Strauss, I strongly suggest paying better attention to who you are hiring. Perhaps stop hiring so many foreigners??? They do not fully comprehend English & your agents & supervisors have no idea what they are doing. It's a shame that to save-a-buck or two hiring foreigners, your company has gone down the tubes. I placed a Mother's Day order the morning of April 22nd. This order included two plants & the order was confirmed. Apparently after SEVEN phone calls that I spoke with agents & their supervisors all the way up to Friday May 6th, NONE of your employees assisted me or could give me an answer as to WHY they could not fix whatever the issue was.
Neither my Mother nor my wife received the plants I had ordered for them. Now, when I called (again) to ask one of your agents why exactly they never received their flower arrangements, they told me an error occurred. Hmmm, interesting! Then what were your agents & supervisors doing to help me each & every one of those phone calls I'd placed?!?! I also placed an order on 05/03/16 for my mother in law. Notice that the delivery date says for MAY 8th? You know... Mother's Day??? But guess when your people decided to deliver her flowers?! MONDAY MAY 9th!!! When I think of ProFlowers, I get sick to my stomach. The language barrier is hard and they respond back with meaningless responses because they dont know what else to say.
I placed the order on Friday and realized that AFTER I pressed proceed to check out and place order was I charged for shipping more than two times. They charged me to guaranteed delivery twice when I didnt click that option. The flowers I wanted were available and I clicked on the date I wanted. Never did it say I must pay for that date 20$+ more for guaranteed delivery for 2 bouquets. I was charged about 70$ in fees that were shown after checkout. I then (my mistake should have done this prior) read the reviews after being shocked and furious. EVERYONE had an experience like mine. I called and canceled and order immediately. The money was taken out of my bank immediately, but they said cancelling is ok since the order is still new and modifiable but the amount will take a few days to come back on the card. Fine. Many companies work like that...
What pissed me off more than anything was I called Friday was a confirmation email, the woman said it'll be sent in a few hours. I called Saturday, the gentlemen said I'll receive it by the end of the day. On Sunday a woman promised I'll receive it in 1-2 hours... and I received nothing. I called Tuesday and the rep said they dont send confirmation cancellation emails and that he's sorry I was lied to. He told me someone will call me in 24/48 hours to explain their cancellation process and how they dont send out cancellation emails. I NEVER DEALT WITH A COMPANY THAT DOESN'T SEND OUT CONFIRMATION EMAILS WHEN YOU CANCEL THE ORDER OR MODIFY IT. Everyone wants a peace of mind knowing what they cancelled was confirmed and noted.
This company is beyond rude, terrible to work with and nothing was BS artists. Save yourself the time, the extra money they'll be charging after your order is placed!!! Their customer service line goes to a call center where folks with limited English work off a script. They have told me that they don't understand the problem. The only thing they have offered as recourse at the call center is 14% off my next order. (As if I would give them an additional order!)
I have emailed ProFlowers and received no response. I have contacted them via social media and was told to email them at a different email address, which I did. Again, no response. I have always ordered from ProFlowers when it came to surprising loved ones on birthdays and other special occasions. Of course, on Mother's Day, I expected to order from ProFlowers and for them to delivered the same fresh, timely bouquet. Nope. I ordered the flowers back in mid-April to be ahead of the curve (and to also use the many discounts they offer before holidays). I ordered a great bouquet, filled out all the information, and clicked 'Confirm'. I even made sure the flowers were delivered the day prior to Mother's Day so I knew they would be delivered.
Come Mother's Day: MY FLOWERS WERE NEVER DELIVERED. I called ProFlowers, and after talking to an oblivious representative, I asked for the manager. I was on hold for a total of 35 min. waiting for someone to let me know what happened and to offer a solution. I finally got in touch with a supervisor, Janine? Janette? They told me that all it said in their notes was my order had a 'processing error' which was out of their control, and I SHOULD HAVE been contacted. I never received a phone call, an email, nothing from ProFlowers. Oh, and apparently it wasn't ProFlowers' fault, it was 'whoever does the processing part'.
After arguing with her, she finally said she would give me a total refund, but the earliest my flowers could be delivered were the 17th!!! I ordered these flowers in advance for the day before Mother's Day, and now they were going to be 10 days late? Then she said my order was 'so specific' that she could send a different bouquet for the following Tuesday. Again, after Mother's Day. For Mother's Day this year, I got my mom flowers. It was insanely expensive to have them delivered on Mother's Day, but I thought that my mom was worth more than any amount of money. So the final cost of these 12 flowers was $86. That is a large amount of money to pay for flowers in my opinion, but I was expecting premium quality of the flowers considering how much I paid for them.
When I looked online to pick the flowers I wanted, I came across a problem finding ones that would deliver on Mother's Day. So I called customer service and a nice lady picked up the phone who couldn't speak English to save her life. I felt bad for her because she was trying to help me but couldn't understand what I was saying to her. I had to repeat myself over and over until I couldn't take it anymore. I hung up and settled with the small roses, since they were one of the only two flowers that could be delivered on that date. So when I finally got it all figured out, the cost was absurd! Not only that, but some of the flowers were dead and the rest weren't doing so well. Long story short: don't order from this company, save yourself 100 bucks.
So what did my mom actually receive? She took the roses out of the wrapping and white petals fell all over the place. Two of the white roses were completely dead. They crumpled to the floor in a mess. It's safe to say I was not and am still not happy about these results. I demand a refund because I deserve so much better than that and so does my mom. On 5 May 2016, I ordered Mother's Day flowers for my mother who lives in Florida (I live in Texas). I went with the Saturday delivery on 7 May and paid the extra fee. By the evening of 7 May, I had not received a text or phone call from my mother which was strange, because she always lets me know any time I send something to her. So, I went onto ProFlowers.com to check the delivery status. My order shows 7 May as does my receipt (attached). When I hit the tracking number I was switched to FEDEX and the delivery status showed that a label had been created for my order on 6 May, but had not been picked up and wouldn't be delivered till 10 May (by the end of the day).
I then called ProFlowers and after being on hold for 30 minutes I spoke to a representative, who was extremely hard to understand. I explained my situation and he looked at my order and told me that yes, it was being delivered on 10 May and wouldn't even offer an explanation. Wouldn't even verify that my original ship date was on 7 May. I had to keep asking about the 7 May, and then even said that I paid extra for the 7 May ship date. He offered to refund the difference of the shipping fee. I was floored that he wouldn't even acknowledge that something was wrong and in fact he was very demeaning and was acting like this was just acceptable practice.
After discussing back and forth he told me that he was just going to refund my order and leave it at that, again with no explanation, more like it was my fault. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but he didn't acknowledge my request. When he asked if there was anything else he could do, I again asked for a supervisor, and he informed me that there was no supervisor on his floor and he was the only one I could talk to. I asked if there was a supervisor that he could transfer me too, and reluctantly he told me to hold on while he transferred my call.
I was now on hold for 1 hour and finally spoke to a customer service rep (believe her name was Ann) and explained my situation. She looked at my account and said that yes they were supposed to be delivered on 7 May, but they had too many orders and didn't ship it out, with apparently many other orders in the same situation, and that the earliest delivery was Tuesday, 10 May. She was trying to be nice, but then she offered to call my Mother for me to apologize, which I found insulting. She went on to explain that they were very busy at this time of the year and took over 4 million orders for flowers and were doing the best that they could.
I asked if she thought that delivery on Tuesday, which is 4 days later is acceptable. She was being pleasant, but was just trying to avoid the mistake. I asked if it was going to be delivered on Tuesday instead of when I ordered it for, why didn't I receive a phone call, text, or email notifying me of the problem. She said that they usually do, and that they would probably have sent me an email the following day. I asked why would they send an email on the day after it was supposed to be delivered to which she had no explanation. ProFlowers advertises the best delivery of great looking flowers. If they took too many orders, that is the fault of the company. There is no way for me to fix this problem now. I can't go to the store and by flowers and give them to her.

Was racked w/ $9.99 for delivery plus add $12.99 to be delivered day before Mother's Day. Saturday nothing shows up for mom (how embarrassing). Contacted them & found out, that's backordered!!! No email or notice ever given stating that. Customer service told me she'll try to have my refund in 4-7 days. (WHAT!!!) Thanks for nothing & leaving me high & dry & "trying to get my money back!" As a nice gesture to a friend who could not afford flowers for his mother on Mother's Day, I purchased flowers through ProFlowers through my PayPal account. When I checked my PayPal account, ProFlowers had charged me for 6 orders of the same flowers. I immediately canceled 5 of the orders since I only purchased one but they ordered the other 5, delivered two of them (one on Fri and one on Sat). Since these were delivered, I ate the loss for the extra delivery.
I wrote them e-mails, called, called my bank, and PayPal and finally got through to ProFlowers a few minutes ago and had to argue with a person that had an accent other than English (hard to understand). I was told that it would be 5 to 7 business days for reimbursement. I think the processors are running a scam because it should have been obvious that 6 redundant orders of the same flowers to the same address was a mistake in their system. I WILL NEVER ORDER THROUGH THEM AGAIN!!! My computer skills are excellent and I order online frequently.

The flowers I ordered (pictured on the website) were not the ones delivered, the s/h fee was $14.99 (very high) and I was very disappointed as this was a Mother's Day gift. When I called to complain I was told I could have a refund and the flowers would be picked up the next day. They did offer to resend, however I didn't think the florist would do a good job because they wouldn't answer a question my mother had about the flower care. There was no care information included. WILL NEVER USE PROFLOWERS AGAIN!

I received my total in an email where I found the delivery charges were as much as the flowers plus another charge for guarantee date delivery. I didn't know about these fees when ordering. The cost of the flowers more than Doubled. I will never select this company again and will call a florist directly. They deceive you in showing only the base price you will pay and hid the other cost until the order is placed and you must find out in an email.

The ProFlowers 7 day guarantee. Read it carefully because it says they will replace flowers or refund your money "if the flowers are not fresh for seven days." The way they can guarantee this is by sending flowers in bud form that are days away from blooming. Of course they will last seven days!!! But you won't enjoy them for the first four days. They arrive as green sticks instead of colorful blooms like the picture on the website.
I ordered two bouquets exactly the same – one for the wife and one for the mother. The flowers were for Mother's Day on May 8, but I had them delivered on Thursday, May 5 to avoid the additional shipping charge (to the already $12.99 shipping charge and $2.99 special handling charge?? whatever that's for). I'm glad I ordered early, because today (Saturday) the lilies are still tightly closed with three out of 9 showing the early stages of blooming. At least I can see color. It looks like all will bloom by next Tuesday or Wednesday – days AFTER Mothers Day. However, the purple iris began blooming yesterday, so when one is dying the other will be blooming. Great. But as dissatisfied as I am, I have little recourse because the guarantee doesn't address dissatisfaction, only that they guarantee freshness for seven days.
Maybe they should start sending out soil and seeds and they can up their guarantee to 180 days. Don't be shy about looking at the flower that arrive, OR asking for a picture if you send them to someone where you cannot see the flowers because chances are you will find the flowers will arrive looking nothing like the picture you see at the time of order. Oh yeah, one last thing. I paid $98.00 for two $29.00 bouquets after the hidden fees, and that was having them delivered four days early to avoid the "additional surcharge." Even then they messed up the card, eliminating my message I provided and signing the card "Love, Jim" which is not even my name. I won't be using ProFlowers in the future.

WOW! WOW! This is ridiculous. Ditto with the same complaints as others! Messed up delivery date (to arrive a week after Mothers Day), 36 minutes on with customer service that is muffled, cannot understand anything she's saying. She repeatedly tried to end the call, and constantly tried to NOT cancel the order. When I asked for my order number, because I hadn't received any sort of email confirmation, she refused saying it was part of their customer compliance not to give it out, what???
I'm still on hold for a supervisor. I swear she just said the supervisor was busy emptying the trash – I kid you not... Then the supervisor said I had 2 orders in queue? Nope, not me. I only have 1 mom. I asked him to cancel any and all orders and at 47 minutes of this I am firmly waiting on the phone with him until I get an email confirmation of the cancellation. 52 MINUTES in and finally got this guy to cancel 2 orders (1 with FTD, and when I asked if they were associated because FTD shows up on their site he said he couldn't disclose that information – don’t care either way). I got his operator # in case this continues to go south, which I have a feeling it will. Will NEVER EVER use this service again!!!

I would have no problem paying the very high delivery costs if it had disclosed those costs anywhere during the order process. Preferably before I clicked "confirm order" and my credit card alerted me of the price difference. The website is extremely shady, all they need to do is clearly disclose the $12.99 standard delivery and the $2.99 handling fees, that were in addition to the $19.99 that it provided. I had no idea those charges existed until after my order was completed. I'm extremely disappointed, I immediately cancelled my order.

I have ordered from them for years. This week I placed 3 orders, paid extra to deliver by today, Friday May 6, 2016. I had made a mistake on 1 address, caught it, called them, was on hold for about 15 minutes. Talked to the lady for about 20 minutes, told her new address, spelt it out to her, she read it back to me. Today, Friday, I got on to track it, she had put a totally different address including zip code. I called back, on hold forever, told them the situation, their fault, first told me couldn't be changed, only good give me another order for some time if I wanted. Took me forever to tell them it was their fault and get my refund. I will never do business with them again... how can you get an address and zip wrong when someone spells it out to you and you repeat it back to the person? Really??
Update 5/15/16: I wrote on here about ProFlowers screwing up my order which is true. This past February I order flowers for my fiancée from Proflowers.com and what a mess it was. I spent $49.00+ delivery. The flowers arrived at the hospital where she works and it was past time and no one was there at the desk to receive them. The delivery guy could have gone to a hospital unit 500 feet down the hallway and left them with an employee. No instead drove around to the back of the hospital and left them on a loading dock at 7pm. That dept closed at 4:30 pm, so again no one was there to receive them. The flowers were located the next afternoon, deader than a door nail, because they had frozen on dock. It took me 3 days to get through to talk to someone at Proflowers to complain + 3 emails I sent with no response. When I did speak with Proflowers they implied they didn't believe me and just kept telling me the flowers were delivered on the correct day. They finally agreed to give me a credit and promised to email it and never did.
When I went to use that "credit" today for Mother's Day, they started to take my order and then I explained I have a credit and they hung up me x 3. Never again. Keep your local florist in business. They employ your neighbors, pay taxes in your community and don't farm out their call center overseas. If this is a problem with your local florist they are usually more than happy to resolve it to your satisfaction. At this point in time I don't want another "credit". This company is not professional as their name implies. All I want is my money back from this wasteful company. You really don't save money when the product you ordered from these scammers, like Proflowers, arrives in such unacceptable condition. I tried to add my receipt as a Word Doc and it won't accept it.

The other day I proceeded to ProFlowers website and wanted to research both flowers and the garden plants they offered. On the opening page there was an offer for roses (I believe) for 19.99 and another flowers with chocolates for a bit more. Before making my purchase I wanted to also see what plants they had for the garden. When I chose a nice looking Gardenia for 29.99 and also popped up a 30% discount offer because it was my first order with them. This would be great because then it would be in my budget for this kind of purchase. Never did I see anything about high shipping charges until later on they offer standard, deluxe and ultimate (or something like that). I chose the standard again. No price came up and then they asked for a delivery day and I chose Saturday. Lastly it said to enter the discount word which was tulips for the discount and then press confirm the order after you put in all credit card information.
I did so only to see that Standard Delivery was $12.99, Saturday Delivery $9.99, and then a $4.99 was for care and processing, which I later found out that that meant that it would arrive in 1 piece as Geraldine put it and then 5.00 for taxes. I tried to go back and cancel the order because when the shipping charges are almost equal or more than the thing itself it is not good. I then proceeded to call the number at the top of the page to cancel it and get a refund only to be told that the order was UNNOTIFIABLE and was unable to be changed, altered or cancelled now because it went through. After arguing with Geraldine for approximately 10 mins I asked for a supervisor because I thought it was shoddy practice to do business like this and to take advantage of customers because it was a huge flower holiday! She puts me on hold for exactly 5 secs and said that the supervisor said to go ahead and give a refund.
She then asks for all the information like the order number and then repeats the order and asks for clarity of my name, address, phone number and person who it was to go to and the card info. I give her all and she (Geraldine) says something like "thank you for being patient while I am practicing to give the refund back." After about 1 mins doing this she says "ok it was processed and will take 5-7 days to appear on your card. Thank you and we hope you will shop with us again..." I told her "NOT LIKELY, goodbye". I noticed it was already on my card as a charge and 2 days later I get an email stating that my order was delivered. This time I called again and spoke to E(long E sound)na... Ena or Ina and told her the story and she asked for the order number and my name and address and all of that and she comes back and says they are having computer issues and to call back again in 30 mins so they can bring it up.
I told her I already waited 20 mins on hold that time and did not want to do it again and wanted to speak to a SUPERVISOR at which time she told me to hold on and comes back on about 5 mins later telling me that no supervisor was available and that I had to call back! I told her all I want is to find out if my money is being refunded and that the order was cancelled and I did call back 32 mins later and have now been on hold for over an hr and at least this time they had a saying that they had more callers than usual and my call would be taken by the next available operator.
Got a hold after being on hold for an hour plus and was told by Jasmine that she could not hear me as soon as I began my story and when I told her I was NOT calling again she all of a sudden heard me and supposedly my money will be refunded. I will NOT ever shop with them again and if you like your purchases to be worth it shop elsewhere and give local florists a chance. The normal florist I usually use went out of business after it being sold.

I received my Mother's Day bouquet of flowers at work today. These flowers are the worst flower arrangement I have ever seen. I feel as though my children were "raped" with the expense this company charged them. The flowers were much too small in diameter for the container they were sold with it... toppling the bouquet over on my desk. I had to cut about 4" off the stems to keep the arrangement upright. Why do they sell Long stem roses if they don't work in the arrangement?
The bloom on 1 flower was broken off in the box, and the majority of the leaves on the stems were loose and fell to the floor. The flowers are an hour old and the remaining leaves are shriveling up and unopened blooms are slumping. Companies such as this must be put out of business TODAY so they cannot take advantage of we the consumer anymore. We work too hard for our paycheck to have CEOs of companies like this live the good life. I will be posting this to social media too!!!

Proflowers.com does not offer what is advertised. I had previously purchased flowers from them for my mother's birthday. I purchased a Groupon for the flowers and assumed that the Groupon would help with the cost however, any "discount" offered seems to slip between the cracks as everything is overpriced and the site houses many hidden fees.
Needless to say when my mother received her flowers I could not have been more disappointed. What is advertised on the website is FAR from what you receive. The arrangement is very green and by green I mean the flowers are overtaken by the foliage. Not to mention I paid for the Premium arrangement and received flowers that didn't even resemble the regular, lower priced bouquet. I wrote an email to the company and luckily customer service responded promptly and offered me a full refund.
I figured the best time to use my refund would be Mother's Day so again, I ordered from Proflowers.com and this will be the last time I waste my time or money with this company. The shipping costs were more expensive this time and again the advertised arrangement is not what was received. I again, went for the Premium arrangement, as it is the prettier version and was disappointed again. The amount of money this company charges for arrangements is not worth it. Go to a local florist. You will pay the same amount but actually get what you paid for. Never again!

I got hooked by a rebate on Groupon for a $40.00 voucher for $20.00. Once you purchase it, you find out you can only use it on a few select products. The base prices of those items didn't look too bad, but when once you get in to complete the order, they want to add fees for everything. Like others posted, they want to charge for the vases, and ridiculous prices, 10.00 for a simple glass vase, to 30.00 for a weaved one, plus a standard delivery, a weekend delivery fee, handling fee, plus an additional fee cost because of mothers' day. I selected one of their multi-mothers gifts, where you can do two or three sets of flowers. I thought that was a great deal until I saw that they were charging those exorbitant prices for each flower set, the $59.99 flower deal quickly when to 120.00, even after the 40.00 discount. I also got a 20% discount for first time user, but could not use that with the 40.00 voucher (only one discount per order).
To top that off, the flowers were all being delivered to the same place, but they wanted to charge me three different times for the deliveries at 15.99 each, plus an additional 9.99 each for sunday/saturday delivery for almost 80.00 in fees to deliver to the same ** location. Wait for it, here's the kicker. The flowers are delivered by UPS, not a florist. So I ended up just doing two separate orders and went somewhere else for my third order, 'cause I already got suckered in by buying the two 40.00 vouchers for 20.00 off groupon, which I found out afterwards I couldn't use on the same order, along with the 20% off for first time user. Will NEVER ever use them again, and will recommend to everyone I know and even people I pass on the street to pass this company as well.

It does not negate the fact that on each gift order, they present the item as is, then add on extra prices in the end when we all know the high percentages will dictate that we will just go along with the program. Very deceptive and I will never use them again. Examples: "Oh, sorry we can't ship that date.
