I had used Proflowers many times before. I decided to send flowers to my daughter, who had been sick for an extended amount of time. I wanted to surprise her. That didn't happen. The express delivery was delayed a day. I was told they had to substitute my selection with a different one. They were supposed to be delivered the next day. They gave me a $15 credit for the inconvenience . The next day my order was completely canceled and they said they couldn't find a local florist to deliver them. That wasn't true. My daughter has florists all around her in Indianapolis. I have called literally 7 times. Keep getting promised a complete refund. It's been three weeks and nothing refunded. So upset!

My daughter was being initiated to her sorority. Thought sending her some flowers since I couldn't be present for the event would be a nice gesture. I shopped around online and went with ProFlowers. I'm not a fan about online shopping, first of all, just because you really don't know what you're actually buying. Many times, it's a big disappointment, what you're buying isn't really what you get - false advertising. And that's exactly what happened.
I was eagerly awaiting a call from my daughter, since it was a surprise. When I finally got the call and the "Thank You", I had her take a picture of the arrangement just to see if it was the same as the picture when I had ordered it. NOPE!!!!! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! These flowers came in a vase. The arrangement literally was a bouquet of flowers that were dumped in a vase and delivered. There was no arrangement whatsoever. It was pathetic. It looked nothing like the picture. I sent the picture of what it was suppose to look like and my daughter's statement was, "Oh my gosh Mom, it looked nothing like that. There were so many beautiful arrangements there and this wasn't one of them."
How sad. I wanted a beautiful arrangement for my daughter and we got a pathetic one. Might as well just wrapped the flowers in cellophane if it wasn't going to fit into the vase and most of all, if it wasn't going to be arranged nicely. Note: The other companies I looked at actually had pictures of what one was buying - Good, Better, Best Arrangements. If you pay a little more the arrangement would be fuller and had pictures of the Good vs. Better vs. Best arrangements, so that there would be no surprises when received. ProFlowers did not show me these options, so I thought what you see is what you'll be getting. Guess not. Big lesson learned. To add to this, the chocolates that came with looked disgusting.

I ordered flowers for a friend in another state for her birthday. I received an email confirmation first of the order, then two days later that my flowers were delivered. Two days after that I got a phone call from the florist saying they couldn't find the house. They did not have GPS or mapquest. I tried to give them my friends phone # to call for directions, but when I asked them if they would remake the three day old arrangement they hung up on me. Proflowers then send me a cancellation notice two days later, and still has not refunded my money despite multiple calls and emails to customer services. Stay very far away from them.

This is what Pro Flowers quoted as "filled to value" on an order totaling $54. The base price of the arrangement was $29.99 with significant delivery charges, and I appreciate that it requires time and money to deliver them, so I'm not complaining. This is a photo of what arrived. Beware that if you choose "Florist's Choice" for an order, there is no commitment by the company to offer arrangements that are comparable to other $29.99 examples on their site. Attached is a photo of what arrived for a memorial service. The few flowers that were in the arrangement were fresh enough, but it came in a bud vase with a lily, a few small carnations and a few other stems of stock, etc.. When I contacted the company, they first offered a 40% off my next purchase coupon. Promotion for another purchase instead of compensation for a poorly executed order. They then offered $5.99 as a refund saying it was a 20% discount off my base order.
I requested that since the order was 1/3 of the size of the typical representation on their site that they please refund my base order in kind. They declared that this order was "filled to value" and they only offered a partial refund because I said I was dissatisfied. This supports the stance that their stands for quality are not only low, but they stand behind them with pride. So....just know what you're getting...which may not be much and they're happy to claim their products as adequate even when they are highly misrepresented. Or, as in my case, not "officially" represented as I trusted the florist to make a professional choice based on what was fresh and available that day. It seems it's just a ticket to send very little because very little is "enough". The attached photo is a bit wide for the sake of size reference. The flower are on the table to the left in front of the lamp base, which is bigger.

We had ordered an expensive bouquet for our daughter, who was recovering from a serious car crash, but it came with broken off buds and the stems were all cut too short for the vase. ProFlowers customer service department ordered a replacement bouquet, which would also include Rocky Mountain chocolates and a teddy bear, all at no extra charge. The chocolates arrived covered in MOLD and were ROTTEN! The company gave us a refund on our order and that is it! I am currently in the process of contacting the NC health department's agricultural division about this order and ProFlowers delivery of mold ridden chocolates. We have never experienced anything so horrible with an order, and our daughter was sickened at the sight of this delivery. We will NEVER do business with ProFlowers again! In fact, they need to be reported and fined. We will be working on that so that no one else has to go through such an awful, disgusting ordeal.

BE AWARE THIS COMPANY!! Do not order flowers from them. I would give them zero stars but since it was required I had to put one. I ordered flowers for my grandfather's funeral which I could not attend so I sent flowers to my grandmother. But guess what, she never received the flowers and they kept calling me and telling me that they couldn't find anyone to delivery that day so they would get them to her the next day before the funeral. I was mad but agreed because I thought maybe it wasn't their fault, maybe it's snowing. So I called my Dad to see if my grandmother received the flowers and guess what she didn't!
So I called customer service and they told me they couldn't find anyone to deliver the flowers and I told them this was a funeral, and I order the flowers almost a week prior so they had plenty of time to find someone. They apologized and told me they would give me 20% credit. I said I just want flowers delivered and they said there was no way that was possible and they would get them delivered for sure Monday. (Mind you I ordered the flowers the previous Monday and put the flowers to be delivered on Friday the day of the viewing) I was so mad and upset that my grandmother was going to get the flowers.
Mind you I live in Florida and she lives in Indiana, so I found and called local florists to see if they had gotten a request from ProFlowers and I called 5 different shops and they all told me they did but unfortunately they turned the request down because they do not deal with ProFlowers because of their bad business. They each warned me to stay away from that company and I found a company who said she would deliver a nice bouquet and have them delivered. She was so generous and she told me they don't deliver to that area but she felt really bad and since this was a funeral that she would gladly do it. This lady drove 20 minutes each way to personally delivery flowers that she didn't have to.
So lesson was certainly learned from ProFlowers - never ever do business with them. It might be enticing because of the cheap prices but you certainly get what you pay for either no flowers, dead flowers, wrong flowers, and a whole LOT OF EXCUSES!! So I called them back after that lady delivered the flowers and I told them that I did their job and found out why nobody could delivery my flowers - it was because their company has a bad reputation and they tell me that certainly wasn't the case. I didn't offer but requested my money back. After fighting with them for almost two weeks I finally got my money back!!! Stay clear from ProFlowers!!!

Ok, then they tell Paypal that I signed up for a subscription and they would agree with Paypal as a courtesy to let me out of the "agreement". A blatant lie and totally contradicts the email they sent me as an apology. The flowers did appear fresh, however, were not bursting with blooms or full, as listed. Complete rip off. Do not choose ProFlowers. I called a service rep to complain. I received an order last week as a gift from my cousin and I could not stop myself from writing to inform ProFlowers of my complete dissatisfaction and complete awe of what I received. The quality of the flowers is ridiculous. Attached you will find photos of my order. Is this how ProFlowers treats all their customers? After reading many reviews on here, I can truly say the answer is YES. These flowers seem to have been removed from the garbage bin and put in a box and mailed to me, or rather leftover flowers from a funeral. The stems are cut in all different sizes, I would have had to fill the vase to the rim for them all to receive water. There is even one rose without a stem at ALL!! The instructions also state to add flower food packets to the vase, those of which were not even included in the shipment.
According to your ProFlowers' guarantee "We guarantee that all our flowers, plants and preserved items will last at least 7 days or your money back. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the freshness of your flowers, please call or email us and we will gladly replace the bouquet or refund your money." These flowers are by far from fresh as browning can be seen on several of them. I don't have the heart to even tell my cousin that the money she spent was a waste and so are her expectations of me receiving a beautiful bouquet of flowers. What is even worse is that she not only ordered one bouquet but she also ordered a second one for my grandmother. Treating paying customers this way is called ripping people off and taking advantage of them. I am appalled by the order errors, but even more so by the lack of caring before an order is shipped out. One star on this review is one too many. I wrote to ProFlowers and got a response from CS Victor **. Nothing is going to be done and this will continue to happen to customers all over the country. I will never recommend nor use ProFlowers.

I ordered a package with Shari's Berries & Pro Flowers, where I was to receive 1 dozen roses & 6 chocolate covered strawberries, for Mother's Day. The "deal" was advertised for $39, but by the time they added in their various shipping & handling fees, my final bill for this "special" was $79.95. Which is fine, it was entirely up to me whether I wanted to OK the charge, and I did. However, this is what I got for my $80: First, they were apparently unable to deliver the package on the weekend where I live, so I had to have them delivered on the Monday following Mother's Day. Then, when the package was opened, I discovered that they had sent 11 roses, not the dozen promised. Still OK with it, not overjoyed, but OK. But then, even after following all of their instructions to the letter, we awoke the following day to find four of the roses wilting & dying. According to their paperwork, the roses would last at least a week, not 12 hours.
I was instructed in their paperwork, to change the water & add the 2nd packet of nutrients after 3 days. It turns out that it was unnecessary for them to include the 2nd food packet, because ALL eleven flowers were dead by the 3rd day. I wrote to their Customer Service dept., and received no response. After a week, I wrote to them a 2nd time, with the same result. They supposedly guarantee their product, but apparently their policy is to just ignore dissatisfied customers, so the guarantee means nothing. I have never been treated so poorly. From the "bait & switch" tactics, making people think they're going to get a deal, then charging DOUBLE the price. To not receiving what I paid for, then having such an inferior product, that everything is dead within 72 hours. To being completely ignored when I try to bring it to their attention. I would advise everyone to STAY AWAY FROM THESE COMPANIES! You would be better off finding a local brick & mortar, where if there is a problem they can't just ignore you.

I complained and they gave me a full refund, but the flowers were already out for shipping. So the recipient would be getting the flowers regardless. She won't be getting the "wow moment" of seeing the arrangement being brought to her, but at least she'll get a nice arrangement, or so I thought. I've enclosed an image from the website of what I ordered and what she actually received. They totally ruined the moment, TWICE! Although they gave me a refund, it's not about the money. This Mother's Day, I received a box of dead flowers from Proflowers as a gift. Contact with them resulted in their offering me a store coupon for any of their related companies. I received two separate emails from customer service making the same offer which I accepted in a timely manner. They then emailed me with a confirmation that the store coupon would arrive via email. After 3 days, I contacted them again as I had no email coupon. A third customer service employee advised me that there would be no store coupon and the sender had been reimbursed instead. This would have seemed fine with me except that I already had two offers confirmed for my coupon to replace the dead flowers and this is now a rather dishonest resolution.
I informed the sender to check on the refund as I had my doubts at this point. The sender contacted me because not only had they not received a refund but now had been charged twice for the cost of the gift by Proflowers. This took another contact to resolve and further adds to their disreputable style of doing business.
A fourth Proflowers customer service employee has contacted me again to state they regret the "confusion" but I would say this is a little more than simple confusion - it is very poor business methods, an incompetent customer service staff along with being a company with questionable integrity when they cannot honor an offer made (twice). Proflowers states that they are here for us 24 hours, 7 days a week, which is good because you really need to be able to reach this company if you plan to do any business with them or their related companies. I would reconsider any dealings with this company and if you do have any, expect poor quality and false offers.

I placed a Mother's Day flower arrangement order and selected a florists choice option and selected delivery for the Friday before Mother's Day. I paid quite a bit extra for the "rush" delivery. I rec'd an email later that afternoon from ProFlowers saying that the arrangement I requested was no longer available and asked me to make another selection. They gave me some preselected options, one of which, coincidentally was the florists choice (the original selection I made). I went ahead and made this selection, again, and received a confirming email that it was received and the order was being processed. Friday, Saturday, Sunday rolled around and no delivery was made.
I phoned ProFlowers on Monday (the day after Mothers Day) and waited on hold for 60 MINUTES!!! I spoke to a rep who stated that the reason the flowers weren't delivered is because there wasn't an available a local florist in the area that could fill the order. What!? Why in the world would this not have been brought to my attention when the order was placed, or at least very shortly after, so I could have made other arrangements? Needless to say, my mother-in-law was left with no card, no gift, empty handed on Mother's Day. This was totally unacceptable and very bad business. I will never use ProFlowers again! Oh, but my story goes on...
After emailing their customer service department about my experience, they had the nerve to write back and apologize and say, We apologize for your bad experience with our company. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. With that being said, we have refunded the total amount of your purchase. We hope this rectifies any outstanding problems. Seriously! Of course they are going to refund my money, the services were never provided. Not only that, had they told me a florist in the area was not available, I could have made other arrangements. When I replied with that response, they wrote back saying, "we apologize for the disappointment and would like to rectify the problem immediately by sending a replacement order, courtesy of our team, at no charge to you".
I thought to myself, finally, some good customer service. I took the time to write them back with the info they requested, name of person to deliver to, address, phone number, day of delivery, flowers I wanted delivered, card note, etc. and thanked them for trying to make an effort to make this right. Believe it or not, yep, I got another response from them saying, "we apologize for the disappointment. Our records indicate that your issue was addressed per an earlier communication with another customer service associate resulting in a refund issued for $54.47". Are you serious!? What in the world is going on over there? So, I guess that means, no flowers are being delivered after all. Needless to say, they have defeated me and I no longer have the energy. Rather, I responded that I would write up my review online so others can decide if they wanted to use this company for their flower orders to their loved ones.

My only son is deployed in Guam with the USAF. On Monday morning, I was surprised to receive a box of flowers from him. I opened them up and put them in a vase, took pictures and sent them to him. He immediately messaged me back saying that isn't what he ordered! Even worse, not even 24 hours later, all 8 roses have started to wilt and point downward. I didn't have the heart to tell him, but I DID call customer service and complain. They gave my son a FULL refund. I was shocked that the arrangement was $84!!! So not worth it. In the end, it's the thought that counts, but this is the second time this has happened with this company (last year when my daughter sent me birthday flowers). So they have lost my family as customers.

First of all the price quoted wasn't the price I ended up paying. The price ended up being over $40.00. The roses arrived half wilted. And as for the box of chocolate, it was a little box with only 4 pieces and they weren't tasty. I WILL NEVER order from them EVER again. I will stick with 1800flowers.com or amazon.com for flower orders.

I bought two Living Social discounts for ProFlowers. But I had a problem ordering flowers for two different people in two different states. The second discount did not show on the confirmation of the second order. I immediately emailed ProFlowers and explained what happened. They got back to me with a lame excuse that ProFlowers did not allow two discounts on orders. I explained again that it was two different orders, but got the same scripted response about company policy not allowing two discounts. So, I decided to call and was told the same thing by a customer representative. Instead of blowing up, I explained very carefully that there was a big problem here.
Living Social cannot offer these discounts without ProFlowers permission. If they did not want customers to get two discount vouchers, they had to make that clear with Living Social. I explained that I was going to contact BB, Consumer Affairs, and my credit card company to cease payment. I also told the representative that I know she did not make policy, but that something had to be done to address this injustice. She, at first, said there was nothing she could do. But I persisted. I did not yell or get angry. She changed her mood. She said she would see what she could do. At the end, she refunded my money and I was happy. I guess the best thing to do with these thieving companies is to not assume that their representatives agree with the company. Treat them with respect and politeness. It may get you similar positive results.

DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM HERE!! I Ordered two bouquets to be delivered to my mother-in-law and one for my mom for Mother's Day and they both looked awful! My distress started when I got a shipping notification on my mother-in-law's order saying her order had been picked up by FedEx in IL. She lives in WI! Why is FedEx delivering flowers? FedEx! The company that has thrown soggy, half open, crushed boxes on my doorstep before is now delivering DELICATE flowers!?!? I was in a panic. But thought, it will be fine. They will look ok. Well, I was totally wrong to think that.
THE FLOWERS LOOKED TERRIBLE!!!! Some were crushed. Most were wilted, and looked like they'd been through the wringer for sure! I was so sad! I spent nearly $80 for my mom's bouquet! I was devastated and embarrassed when I saw them. And I didn't cheap out on them, but it certainly looked like I did! The quality of the flowers are terrible! And they are handled with ZERO care! But that's what could be expected from FedEx flower delivery, not from a local florist (which I thought was going to be the case!). I'm ALWAYS going to order with 1800flowers.com! They give local florists the order to fill and the quality is beautiful!!! Always! I'm sure this place has a nasty warehouse of laborer with zero floral experience putting these sick, wilted, dead flower arrangements together and letting FedEx crush them to make it even worse!

The worst part was that 2 were bent over and dying upon delivery, and 3 more the following day!! I have ordered many, many flowers from reputable professionals over the years, but these were the worst!! I wouldn't have sent these if they had been free! I have learned a valuable lesson though. This is the worse experience I've ever had with sending flowers. I paid for an expensive bouquet to be sent to my Mother's house for Mother's Day. I bought a bouquet with 6 assorted color roses & 10 peruvian lilies (each with multiple buds). It was called the "Mom's Smiles & Sunshine" package if you'd like to look it up. I paid for a vase because they don't come with the price of the flowers... And then $15 extra for them to be hand delivered. They were left on my mother's front porch in the sun and no one rang the doorbell. She was home all day and didn't know they were there for 3 hours after I was emailed a delivery confirmation. When she sent me the picture of them, THEY WERE NOT EVEN CLOSE to the same bouquet. What she got were about 20 awful looking filler flowers.
I've called ProFlowers 8 times now trying to resolve this. I was told I would receive a full refund because I do not ever want to order from them again and did not want store credit. I was told I could not have a confirmation number but to wait 5-7 business days for my full refund to post. About an hour later, I got a "confirmation" email from someone else at pro-flowers showing my refund of $24.19 which is less than half of my purchase. The rest would be in store credit.
When I called back to ask what happened to my full refund, I was hung up on twice, transferred to freeshipping.com once (who I don't have an account with and didn't use to place this order), and told by NUMEROUS people that they refunded the full amount, that there wasn't a credit on my account at all, & that I just needed to wait. When that conversation was over, I received a SECOND email stating my refund would be 24.19. Then I received another email saying "Thank you for your order. we hope you enjoy" etc...
Today I looked at my bank account, and NOT ONLY DO I NOT HAVE A REFUND... I now have A SECOND charge on my account. I called back one last time and was told someone from accounting would be looking into it and calling me back in 2 business days. I've never had this poor of service anywhere I've gone. Offered to send a gift card 2 days after the fact... and 5 minutes of my life writing emails to them. They then offered me a $5 refund - by check - and that amount would be $4.64 - not a full $5. On the site there was shown a 25% discount if ordering more than $29. My flower order was $39.95. The discount did appear on screen in the "view order" page. When I went to the "confirm order" the discount disappeared. Since this was the last and final ordering page, I called the customer service department in order to get my 25% discount. The 1st customer service rep told me the order wasn't in the system yet and I needed to call back in 1/2 hour or more. I called back in 45 minutes and that customer service rep told me they didn't have a 25% discount, but she "could" give me a 20% discount. The 2nd and most horrible experience was... the next morning (day of the funeral), I get an email from Pro Flowers telling me that they can't deliver the arrangement I had picked out. (I had picked out several arrangements on their website which told me they could not get delivered in time, but the one I finally picked was OK for delivery on Saturday.) I had paid extra to get the flowers delivered the next day and paid even more extra to have a morning delivery. I immediately called customer service AGAIN and was told that they couldn't deliver the flowers that day, but they "could" deliver them on Monday! The funeral was on Saturday. This year 2014, I went ahead and wanted to do something special for the wife so I place a huge order on flowers and gifts from ProFlowers. When checkout I used PayPal but with no options at all, the wrong card under PayPal was used. I quickly email and call to get that order cancel due to the wrong credit card on file that was used. The guy who I talked to was pretty nice but does not seem to make any sense. So I had to confirm with him a few times to make sure it was cancel. Sure enough I finally got a cancel email confirmation.
A couple of days later, I reorder the same items again but pay more due to the days getting close to Valentine's day. This time I did not use PayPal but manually enter my credit card numbers. I got an order confirmation and everything seems to be going fine. On Valentine's Day, the whole day I kept on checking my email to see if my order was complete since it was supposed to be a surprise delivery to my wife at work. Surely after 5 p.m. no emails about anything being deliver or no phone calls from my wife about any surprise delivery.
I then call ProFlowers like 20 times on three phones (at the same time) and waited an hour and a half to finally spoke to a person. My first question to the lady that was helping me was if she can please write or keep track of my phone number so that if our call gets drop she can call me right back. She told me I will have to wait again for another operator if that happens and she will not take my information. I felt maybe that was their policy so I went on and told her about my order not being deliver and after a one hour of talk and wait, she asked for my information. She did not want my phone at first now she wants it with my credit card. Then she said all she can come up with is a 15% discount and said she will proceed with my order WTF!
I told her I would not care for a 15% discount if it was deliver on Valentine’s day but if it is going to be 2 days after that why not give me free shipping? I requested a manager to help me with this and surely the supervisor took her time getting on the phone as I can hear her and people in the background laughing and chatting. When she finally got on the phone with me there was no apologies or not even an effort to help but just told me to email ProFlowers on their website. I told her to look up the records and see why my order did not get process. She told me it was cancel but she cannot confirm an email that was sent to me saying my order was cancel.
She then put me on hold for 30 minutes and came back saying I call and cancel my order so it was my fault. I then explain to her thick head that I did call to cancel my order but it was for the first order and when I did that I had to give them my order number, and then waited 2 days later to place my new order which would require an order number to cancel the order. So how did they cancel this new order on the same day as the first order without knowing my order number. The supervisor went quiet for a while then told me she can give me a 20% off on my next order which was really dumb since ProFlowers is already giving that out during the time.
Will never buy again from this place if they are going to keep operators and supervisors that when you call tells you to go and email to their website. The supervisor knew she was getting it bad. She would not even give me her name so I can reference it on my email to ProFlowers. Don't order from them as they will make it hard for you on flowers you can get from local stores. I have order before and flowers are nice and beautiful but customer service needs to be change, no effort whatsoever. Their operators are probably just there to pick up the phone sell products and would care less if your flowers get to you on time or is lost. Local florist put a lot of effort into selling their beautiful flowers. Forget about these operators and their help to get you your flowers.

First, the delivery came 2 days late; I received them the day after valentines day. Second, the box was left at the bottom of my driveway in the snow on a 20 degree day. The fedex man surely was not that dense to leave live flowers outside without notifying me? My wife is understanding so she happily placed her flowers in the vase that came with the arrangement expecting them to bloom and look pretty.
No such luck! Only a few flowers bloomed due to cold damage I guess. The final straw to make me not use proflowers ever again was their customer service did not make any attempts to return my emails when I contacted their customer service website to explain my gripe. Proflowers will advertise "deals" on your email but always remember that shipping and processing will be an additional $20.
If your flowers are shipped and delivered without cold damage and on time, then I am able to live with that price. But when you get a late delivery and cold damaged buds; spend $20 at the local grocery store on a comparable and usually better arrangement and use the other $20 that you saved to add to a dinner date. I do not recommend proflowers.

I sent what I expected to be a bouquet of lovely flowers to my boss and friend while she was ill. I paid extra for same day delivery. They failed to deliver to her and left with a neighbor even though they had her phone number. I had to ask if she got them and then call Proflowers to find out where they were. Then call her back to go over to the neighbors in her pajamas to get them. When she got the flowers, she sent a photo and thanked me which made me realize that the flowers were not even close to what I had ordered. The picture was lovely with several roses and many other flowers. This bouquet had about two flowers and a bunch or greenery that look artificial. I complained and they offered a $14 partial refund. I said no and that I wanted her to get the correct flowers. They said they would have the florist bring them but she needs to give them the old flowers. It is now several days later and still no flowers. I contacted them again and they said that they could not get in contact with the florist so they will proceed with the partial refund. Terrible customer service and the entire thing is a disaster. I wish I had never sent her flowers! Never Pro Flowers again!!!

My husband ordered flowers for me to arrive before Valentine's Day. He tracked them from California to Richmond, so it was not local delivery. The flowers arrived five days later on the evening of February 18. My husband contacted customer service and their remark was, "Well, they arrived, didn't they?" There was no offer to compensate him or send new flowers. When I opened the box, the roses were curled and brown around the edges. I cut the stems and placed them in a vase to enjoy for two days. We were disappointed with the delivery and the poor customer service and will not use this company again.

On 2/14, I placed an order with ProFlowers for a plant for my husband's birthday. I explained it was a business, and I provided the information as to where at this business my husband was located. Instead they delivered it to the address, but no one can tell me where it was delivered to! To add more insult to injury, the customer service rep said they could resend it the next day. I had already explained that it was his birthday today, not tomorrow. And to deepen the cut, the refund will take 5 to 7 days before my account is credited. I guess the deliverymen can't remember where they deliver packages. I deliver packages all day everyday, and I could tell you where I delivered them. Or a simple phone call to the deliveryman would have resolved the whole issue, but no one seemed to want to bother the deliveryman. With all that disappointment on my husband's special day, this was a bit too much for me. Never again. I ordered Proflowers for my mother-in-law's birthday. The picture of the flower arrangement was VERY different than what was shown at checkout. The flowers came in a box bound wrapped up in a package just like you buy at a supermarket, with the vase on the side. So your loved one doesn't get the stunning flowers beautifully arranged as shown. They have to unwrap and unbind them fill the vase and arrange the flowers themselves. On top of that UPS delivers them, so they get left on a porch or jammed in a door without even trying to give the receiver notice that the flowers are there (EVEN IN THE SNOW!). Not good if the person does not know they are coming! I paid $55.00 for what looked like a nice arrangement, but when I saw the flowers and saw how they came, I could have done better actually going to a supermarket and doing it myself. I did not complain as I realized that Proflowers was just another company making you think they are giving you a deal. For what I paid I could have gone to the local florist and had it done right! Lesson learned, and learn from me!

I am going to provide you the same message I sent and called ProFlowers.com on and to what maybe a surprise to you, as it was myself zero was done to make this right.
My situation started when I place order number ** for my wife, who is the Assistant Store Manager at Nordstroms for two dozen long stem roses for Valentine's Day to be delivered on 2/12/2014. Needless to say, they never arrived. When my wife got home and didn't have the flowers with her I placed a call to ProFlowers.com immediately. I was told by a Mary that for whatever reason the order never went through.
Now dealing with 22 sites location and different systems, I do understand that issues can occur, but my complaint here was based on I never received a single call or email to inform me of this transmission failure. I then ask to speak to a manager and that's where a David had explained to me the unfortunate circumstance. However, David assured me that my wife was going to get her flowers on 2/14/2014 and he would personally call me for that confirmation on 2/14/2014. This new order was ** for two dozen red long stem roses.
Come 2/14/2014, I didn't receive a call from David, my wife is home once again and still no flowers. With the company she works around and at her position I felt horrible. She was the ONLY member in upper management at that location to not receive flowers/a delivery for Valentines Day out of seven executive members. She took it in stride as she does everything else, but I was far from forgiving as she was. At 7:02pm PST the flowers finally showed up (two hours after the 5pm PST business guarantee). The flowers were not only late they were pink and there was a total of 15, yes 15 (See attachment) and not 24 as I had ordered.
I am not only out $142, but this placed a true down mood for a day that should be special and a company who should be helping to enhance that mood, not ruin it! Words cannot express my feelings nor dissatisfaction with this entire time consuming and catastrophic failure upon your company's end. Going forward I will use your competitor and will articulate this situation to as many as I can to pull even more business from ProFlowers and I will make this a mission of mine.

He waited for them to be delivered, and late in the afternoon on Valentine's Day, he began getting concerned. He opened the front door and the delivery man had basically threw the box on our front porch and didn't even bother to knock to let us know the delivery arrived. Since it's been freezing and snowy here, we have no idea how long they sat there.
Next, he opened the box only to unbudded and wilted roses with sick looking filler flowers that were broken. The vase was separate so apparently, you have to do your arrangement yourself. He tried to make them look decent in the vase, and when he presented them to me he was almost in tears. It was too late for him to get flowers elsewhere to replace the pathetic ones ProFlowers delivered. He then showed me the picture of what they had advertised and it was the most blatant case of misleading and deceptive advertising I've ever seen.
He has sent them a complaint, but it looks like we'll have to stand in line because it's apparent we weren't the only ones who have been deceived by these crooks. So I went through the process expecting to pay about $10 for shipping. This is where you have to be really careful because their system forces you to put your credit card information in before you see the shipping and handling charges. As I recall, the total charges amounted to something very close to $65.00. At that point, I had no choice but to proceed with the order but I immediately sent an email to the Company demanding that the order be cancelled.
Fortunately, I had no problem with this and they were actually very gracious about it. 3) I paid for the "deluxe," and based on the picture my family sent (attached), I got the standard.
I called Florist Express back & was told they would refund the upgrade to Deluxe plus the guaranteed early arrival fee. They would not give me a confirmation number for the refund process, though I was told that "Earl," the "supervisor," would email me a confirmation. Given that my order was not only incorrectly fulfilled but also that we were lied to about the delivery, this - while a start - is unacceptable. When I asked how they were going to make it right, they offered me 20% off of MY NEXT ORDER and free standard shipping. AS IF I was going to spend more money there.

I ordered flowers from Proflowers.com to be delivered to my Mother-in-law as she recovered in the hospital from surgery. Unfortunately, they were delivered by FEDEX 1 hour after she discharged to a nursing home 60 miles away from the hospital. I emailed Proflowers' customer service not complaining, but asking if there was some way FEDEX could pick them up and deliver them to the new location. I was willing to pay an extra delivery charge. Not only did they get back to me within the hour, but they sent a complete new order, and gave me a gift certificate to use toward a future flower purchase within the next year. Because the bouquet I had chosen was a special and no longer available, they upgraded my order to a much nicer bouquet, and threw in a premium vase at no charge to me. WOW! What a GREAT way to conduct business, and I can guarantee you, they will be my "go to" place to order flowers from now on.

My sister received some bad news about her health and I wanted to brighten her day by sending flowers to her work. I picked an arrangement named Smiles and Sunshine. They were delivered on time. My sister called me later that evening very upset and crying asking me if I was being cruel to her on purpose. She stated that the flowers were dead, discolored and really awful. She also stated that people walked by her desk just to see the awful flowers and laugh. I apologized as much as I could and ended the conversation in tears myself.
I needed the wrong righted, so I called ProFlowers and spoke with the nicest lady and explained my situation to her and asked if there was anything that could be done to correct this. She apologized and explained to me that this was very unusual for them and she would have another arrangement sent out to my sister again. I thanked her. She apologized again and we ended the call.
Two days later My Sissy called me and I could hear the happiness in her voice as she thanked me for the most beautiful flowers ever. She said the bouquet was much fuller. The flowers were so alive and vibrant. The vase was upgraded to a red one and chocolates were in the shipment also. It meant the world to me that they went to so many measures to correct the previous order. I am very grateful to ProFlowers and will always tell my family and friends to use them. I think it is an awesome company and I adore them. Thank you.

I ordered a get well plant for delivery. Not only was I charged a fee for a service I didn't ask for, but when I called to have the charges reversed the customer service agent tried to convince me it was my own doing. This company is despicable and I will not use it again. They are taking advantage of people and assuming they are stupid and lazy.
After I finished the process of putting in my billing info, I noticed that a $4.99 rush delivery charge was tacked on to my total - not initiated by me. It gave me a "delivered on or before" date two days hence by 8 p.m. on the 15th, so I figured I'd let it slide since they were get well flowers and should arrive in that time period. However, the flowers were shipped from Memphis the day it was supposed to be delivered (to Los Angeles), and confirmation from FedEx confirmed the item was not delivered until 15 hours after the due-by rush delivery time.
When I called for a refund, the rep, in a pleasant manner, told me, "Oh, it shows they were delivered on the 15th" as if I were an idiot. Both ProFowers and I had confirmation from FedEx that showed it was total BS. Realizing there was no choice, she began the refund process, but not before saying "You know, the site has a quirk where there's a plus sign you have to hit..." and more BS, none of which would explain why selecting "standard shipping" would tack on an additional rush delivery fee. Blaming the customer for your practice? That's beyond low.

Very disappointed. Will never use this company again. My sister sent the Smiles and Sunshine bouquet to my daughter who was recovering from surgery. What was delivered to our home was nothing like the picture, the flowers were all similar colors, red/pink/white - no yellow or purple or orange which would have added "cheerfulness" - the vase was too tall for the short stems, some stems were dead and others had tinges of brown on the petals. FedEx left them on our front porch for 2 hours in sub-freezing temperatures even though the note on the package said to ring doorbell (I was home the entire day and it never rung) and to call (my cell number was also on the box label but never got a call).

So we may expedite your flower delivery, please reply to this email with an alternate delivery date. If you prefer, you may contact us at 800-493-3219. Once again, thank you for choosing ProFlowers Florist Express for your special gift."
After holding to finally get a customer service rep, was not given any additional information other than they cannot complete my order. Mind you, this was for a CITY address. Where to start?!? Issue 1: I ordered flowers for my Aunt the week before Christmas to congratulate her on the new job and house. Of course my aunt posted a pic and thanked me for them but I could not believe how HORRIBLE the arrangement was! It was suppose to be this full beautiful assortment of red and white roses BUT instead it was a couple of red roses (half closed or dying) and a handful of baby’s breath. I emailed ProFlowers and sent along the picture. They responded quickly and offered a new arrangement to whomever.
Issue 2: I took them up on this free order and sent flowers to another Aunt as a Christmas gift. She called me the day before Christmas thanking me and saying how much she loved them. I was super excited and couldn't wait to see them the next day. YET AGAIN, HORRIBLE! They were suppose to be roses on top of roses. NOPE! Carnations (5) with baby’s breath. I email ProFlowers AGAIN on my way home saying that I could not believe they could mess up two times in a span of a week and that I would never use them again because they obviously employed florist who did not take pride in their art. Received an email back that they would refund my money from the first screw up and send another arrangement for free, but the kicker was that they do not have outside florist but make them in house! How do you send out arrangements KNOWING they look nothing like the picture?
Issue 3: I should have STOPPED at two but third time’s a charm, right? NO! I had them send flowers to my friend who just had surgery to find out the weather had stopped shipment, which I understand you can't control the weather. By Sunday I realized it still had not been delivered and contacted ProFlowers and was told they would have to cancel this order because the flowers would not be fresh. If I had not contacted them would they have done this?!?
Issue 4: Emailed them back and said to send the same arrangement to the same person. Got an email this morning (Monday) that the shipment was going to my Aunt from the previous screw up and not my friend. I called them and because it’s my husband’s name on the account they cannot talk to me! Are you kidding me?!? Its flowers not a credit card!!! I am done with this company and highly recommend no one ever use them! Call your local florist or 1800Flowers!

I agree with every awful review. DO NOT order from this company- EVER!!!! They deserve zero stars, I wish that were an option. I've been dealing with this mockery of a business daily since they failed to deliver a bouquet to my sister on her 30th birthday. I'm disgusted, disappointed and frankly appalled by Proflowers and shocked they can stay in business running a company as they do. Here's the story:
I ordered flowers to be delivered December 13th for my sister's 30th birthday party. I received an email confirmation that they were delivered. I called my sister next day to see how the party went and asked if the pink flowers and vase matched her theme. She said "what flowers?" - no flowers had been delivered despite the confirmation I received.
I called Proflowers immediately and after holding for a very long time the agent said the florist couldn't deliver because they could not reach my sister. Interesting since she received NO phone calls from them and was home all day. They promised the flowers would be delivered that day and I would be refunded the delivery fee. Fine. That night I checked with my sister- no flowers. I called Proflowers the next day. Now the excuse was that the florist didn't have the right vase, so they just didn't deliver. Now I'm really furious. I ask for a discount and get 50% off. I'm also promised she'll get an "extra big" bouquet to compensate. Fine.
Next day comes and goes and no flowers are delivered. I'm fuming and incredulous. My husband's convinced at this point that they must be going out of business. I call for the 3rd time - I ask for a manager. The manager assures me the flowers will be delivered next day (now 3 days late). I go on a rampage about the poor service and how I'm going to tell everyone I know to never use this company. They give me a 100% refund for the inconvenience and disappointing my sister. They'll send an extra large bouquet an extra mylar balloon (I ordered 1) and several latex balloons plus also promised to send a note to my sister from the company explaining why she didn't receive the flowers for her birthday. Fine.
Today is December 28th. My sister has not yet received a bouquet, balloons or a note. The flowers are 15 days overdue. I talked to Proflowers again today and they tell me they can't find a florist who will except the order. Really. She lives 10 minutes from the capital of Wisconsin and they can't find a single florist to deliver?!?! Pathetic. I have no confidence that she will ever receive an arrangement. Takeaway: Do not order from Proflowers ever under any circumstance. Use 1-800-flowers. They never disappoint. Or do the extra legwork and order from a local florist . But never, never, never use Proflowers.

It appears that the flowers that were delivered to us did not have a filled out card. There was one in the box but it was completely blank. We are unsure who sent them. We called their customer service number and asked if there was supposed to be a card with the flowers. The customer service rep said they could not tell me. I thought I should clarify my question and understanding of the situation. So I asked the customer service rep: "You cannot even tell me if there was supposed to be a card or not?" She said, "I cannot tell you that." She did say that she would fill out a form and someone else will contact us. I then asked, "When will we receive a call back ..." She said, "I cannot tell you that." I asked if it would be an hour, a day, a week, month... She only said "I cannot tell you". I informed her that if the sender expected to have a card attached, don't you think they will be upset that you cannot tell anyone anything? Her response was... "I can not tell you". I can certainly understand if someone wants to send flowers anonymously; however if that had been the case that is all Proflowers would have to say. Of the two dozen flowers delivered, 13 were dead on arrival and already withered. Most of those that were not already dead were still closed. I've worked in flower shops. You are to condition flowers, especially roses in a certain preparation to ensure they maintain quality for a long time. You expect this for paying a premium price, instead of going to Walmart, and saying "here"! My spousal unit thought he was doing a good thing by having flowers delivered, but the roses' heads went south in three days; the "filler" ruscus, was so scant maybe 1 stem or 1 1/2. Hell, you might as well get the roses and filler at the local Wally World or grocery store. Most women my age have 200+ vases at this point. Anyway, add a touch of bleach to the H2O (couple of drops) to keep bacteria at bay; cut stems, change water every couple of days. Save money and delivery. Save the Earth by saving cardboard waste, and eliminating delivery vehicle emissions. yada, yada...

I am highly dissatisfied with my recent purchases from ProFlowers. On May 7, I purchased an arrangement for my mother to be delivered in time for Mother's Day. I received confirmation from ProFlowers on May 10 that this order had been picked up by UPS and was scheduled for delivery, only to receive an email the next day (when my mother's flowers should have arrived) that the flowers would not be delivered "due to an inventory issue." I was compensated with a $75 gift card... but this does not change the fact that my mother did not receive her flowers on Mother's Day.
I was willing to give ProFlowers another chance because I figured this was just a fluke... but the flowers that were delivered to my mother today looked nothing like they did in the photo. I cannot express how disappointed I am in this experience. There are only 4 roses and 8 alstroemeria blooms at best, while the description claims there should be 5 roses and 3 alstroemeria with multiple blooms per stem. Furthermore, nothing said these flowers would come in bud form - and I deliberately ordered an arrangement that would come already bloomed so that my mom would have a full and beautiful bouquet from the day they were delivered - so I am confused as to how this is acceptable to this company.
I say again, the bouquet my mother received looked absolutely nothing like it did in the photo I based my decision off of. Frankly, I could have found a better looking arrangement at my local grocery store, purchased a vase, and driven to deliver them to her myself for less than half the money spent on this "perfect gift for someone who deserves all the frills." I will not be ordering flowers from ProFlowers in the future.

I have read ProFlowers' other Facebook posts to customers and don't give me that dog and pony BS about, "Sorry if we were not clear." ProFlowers is engaged in what is called unfair business practices. You want to know why? Nowhere in your radio ads or television ads do you state verbally or written on the screen "additional charges may apply" or "shipping and handling charges may apply".
To the average layman, if you state that a bouquet of roses costs $19.99, no average customer in their right mind would assume additional charges would cost more than the product itself. That is deliberately being deceitful. There is a $12.99 shipping charge, additional $4.99 shipping charge, and lastly a $2.99 handling charge. These three charges that were never disclosed until the entering of payment totals to $20.97 cost more than the roses themselves.
That is at the very least unfair and deceitful practices and I cannot believe the FCC or anyone would allow your national ads and such a scam. They are lucky I am studying for finals because I would love to know what state and federal lines they crossed to persuade people to come to their website to be tricked. There is nothing to be sorry about when their actions are deliberate. You don't kick someone in the face and then say, "Sorry, I didn't mean to be violent; I meant to warn you first."
They're a business; they're not ignorant and they knew exactly what they were doing. I already expressed to them not to continue to insult me or these other honest hardworking people's intelligence. If you go to the ProFlowers' Facebook page, it is flooded with 99% angry and unhappy customers. I do not know how they will stay in business for long!

I heard an ad on the radio: $20 100 bloom lilies for Mother’s Day. My complaint isn't even about how MISLEADING the ad was, although I did end up paying 60 dollars as opposed to $20. Ok, whatever, it’s Mother’s Day. I’ll do it for mom (because the picture I ordered from was GORGEOUS). Then I ended up telling her I ordered flowers to make sure she was home. I told her I ordered 100 lilies for her and it’s going to be so pretty blah blah blah. Then the flowers came. (My mom and I are very close) so she calls me and is beyond confused. As she is laughing, she says there are 24 stems of cheap lilies that are wilted and are probably going to die by tomorrow. I was furious. When I saw the flowers, they were ridiculous. NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE. It smells like nothing and looked like I hated my mom. I called and got a refund without even having to explain myself or anything. I just called and said, "Hi, I need my money back." In 2 seconds, no questions asked, I got my refund.
Now I know that sounds great and all, but to be honest, it was just a HUGE RED FLAG. I work at a bank. My mother is the branch manager of a bank with over 15 years of experience. We thought about it and realized there is a HUGE possibility that this "proflower" is a HUGE SCAM. It seems to me that this is a fronting business and help money launderers put "legal money" in the bank. They do not care if you want your money back. They will give it to you so you don’t escalate the issue. Either way they will be taking a huge "mother’s day" deposit to a bunch of different banks and drop off all their illegal monies. Now I’m not saying this is 100% the case. But what I am saying is that with a combined 20 years of banking experience, we came up with only one reason the company is run the way it is: FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD.
PS. We didn't even bother taking a picture of the hideous flowers, or else I would post one.

I ordered the 100 Blooms for Mother’s Day for $30. It included chocolates, and I was told it would include a vase in the ad I heard, which I ended up paying $4 for. I ordered the card for $3, and soaps for $10. This brings it to $47. My bill? It’s almost $91. They charged $39 for shipping. It says standard delivery is $17.99 and guaranteed Sunday delivery is $19.99. Why am I being charged twice for shipping? That is ridiculous. The flowers came and looked a bit sad, withered and droopy. They perked up a little in their vase, but not by much. I could have picked flowers and blown a glass vase myself for a cheaper price!
The guy didn't even deliver them by knocking on the door of my mom. He left them in the box on the porch. Is this worthy of a $39 delivery fee? Luckily, my aunt found them, but only when she pulled up to visit and saw them sitting on the porch. Who knows how long they were sitting in the cardboard box in the heat of the morning sun. I ordered because of an ad spot on Michael Brown's radio show out of Denver, CO on KHOW. I will be sending him an email letting him know my dissatisfaction with Proflowers.com.

This was a Mother's Day gift gone wrong. I ordered something for one price and when my mom received her flowers, they were forced bulbs not even in bloom - a jar with stems and only stems. I was in shock when my mom sent a picture. What I expected was what I ordered, a nice jar with tulips and not a crappy cheap jar with stems.

I ordered the flowers on Thursday, May 9, for delivery on Saturday, May 11. On Sunday, my mother had still not received her flowers, so I called. The automated voice secretary first said they would not be able to confirm deliveries, but then connected me a to a customer service representative. He did not speak very good English, but he found my order and put me on hold to "call the florist". When he returned, he said he could not reach the florist.
I called back on Monday morning and spoke to a young lady who again had difficulty with English. Even though I gave her the order number, and she was able to find it, she kept asking to confirm every little detail - my name, the recipient's name, the day it was ordered, etc. I finally asked her to quit stalling and find out why the flowers weren't delivered. She put me on hold. When she returned, she said that the florist didn't deliver them because they were busy and had a lot of orders.
When I questioned this she said, "Ma'am, it was a holiday!" When I repeatedly asked to speak to a supervisor, she refused. Also of note, I initially ordered flowers for both my mother and my mother-in-law from a different online florist. Several hours later, I received an email that they were sorry, but they wouldn't be able to fulfill the order to my mother. That was when I ordered the flowers from ProFlowers. My mother-in-law received her flowers Saturday afternoon. Apparently, some florists can keep up with what is ordered, and if "they are busy and have a lot of orders" they don't accept one they can't fulfill.
I would never order flowers again from ProFlowers, and if I can find the name of the local florist who just decided not to do their job, I'll be sure not to ever order from them either.

I order the 100 lilies for Mother's Day, which I thought was $19.99. By the time, I was finished with my order. I was paying almost $40 for several charges they had added to the bill for shipping. The shipping charge alone was $12.99 plus additional shipping charges, which would only be rebated by joining another club that charged your card. The flowers came on time but when I opened the box, they looked horrible. The flowers were falling off the stems and the leaves were wilted. I even waited the 8-12 hours and let them soak in their vase so they would perk up, but they didn't. I was upset. I called the company and they were very nice and refunded me my money, which was the only reason I gave it two stars instead of one.

I have used them over several years about five or six times. Never had a problem with the quality or delivery, but I do notice each time the advertisements and especially the coupon code ads are misleading. The codes I enter always seem to be either expired or don’t come up as valid. By the time you pay all the little fees and taxes, it always seems to cost twice what the big advertised price under the picture is. Like today, for example, I just ordered my mother a Mother’s Day arrangement to be delivered tomorrow, same state. It was advertised at $49.99, but after you pick out what you want and get to the checkout page, you find out the vase you see in the picture is fifteen dollars extra! That just makes me mad. I would much rather see 65 bucks as the advertised price.
By the time I checked out, my total with standard shipping was $94.99 - nowhere near the $49.99 that was under the picture on the ad page. Really just more than I wanted to spend. I could have called a local florist in her city and probably gotten the same thing for at the most maybe $65.00. But that would have taken longer and been harder to see what I would be getting, so it’s easier to deal with ProFlowers. I would only respect them a little more if they advertised their prices a little more honestly.

I received my flowers - every flower was dead. They did send out more but those were not much better. This was my second time to use them and both times, it has been bad. The flowers never looked like the pictures. They just weren't pretty. I think ProFlowers should stay only local. I will never use them again. The price was never correct online - it said $39.99. No, not at all! I suggest a local florist. ProFlowers in my opinion sucks!

I ordered simple roses for my fiance before 3pm, for the delivery to get to his job the same day. Delivery time was between 5pm & 8pm. The clock turned to 9pm & heard nothing from my fiance, meaning the flowers never got there! I called customer service & the girl tried telling me, "Oh! They'll probably get there tomorrow." I'm like huh? I paid for the flowers to get there today! She said someone will be calling me back tomorrow for a refund. I was beyond pissed & disappointed!

I ordered an arrangement from ProFlowers online to be delivered to my mother on Valentine's Day 2013. They were never delivered. I called ProFlowers. Their excuse was that they were short of drivers. They said they will deliver the 15th, upgrade my arrangement and give me 40% off. I accepted the deal. On the 15th, again, they were a no show. I called back. They "claimed" the arrangement was delivered. I don't know who they were delivered to but it was not my mother. I asked for a refund. The lady said she would refund my money. We'll see what happens?! This must happen all the time because the lady couldn't care less that they screwed up. There was not one apology. She then asked if there was anything else she could do. I said that she could call my 79-year-old mother and explain to her why she didn't receive her flowers. The lady asked for my mother's number but, as of date, she hasn't called.

I confirmed orders for wife and daughter a week ago for delivery on Valentine's Day. On Valentine's Day at 10:41am, I received a curt email from ProFlowers saying that they were sorry but they couldn't fill the orders but would expedite delivery. It's a little hard to expedite an order when it's already late. I called their 800 number to complain and was told, "We're so sorry for the inconvenience but we took too many orders and hope to deliver your flowers within a couple of days." I asked to talk with a supervisor, was put on indefinite hold for 25 minutes, and was then transferred to Alice in Los Angeles. Alice assured me that the orders would be delivered today. They weren't ever delivered. When I called again, they said that they were, "So sorry." I agreed that they are so sorry. So sorry in fact that I will never use them again and go out of my way to tell others of my bad experience with their service and lack of concern.

Never order from ProFlowers or their five other businesses! For Valentines Day, I ordered 15 tulips from ProFlowers (from me) and a small giraffe ring holder from Red Envelope, an affiliate business of ProFlowers, (from my kids) for my wife. I was promised delivery on Valentines Day by the end of business. I do not know about you but I think the end of business day is 6:00 PM. Well, not ProFlowers! They consider 8:00 PM the end of business day. We waited all day for the delivery. I wanted to have the flowers on the dining room table for our special Valentines dinner and have my kids give their mother their present after dinner.
Luckily, I got her some jewelry as well because the ProFlower delivery came at 7:54 PM. The beautiful display of 15 tulips they show on the Web site turned out to be 13 drooping dead and frozen buds. When I placed them in the vase, they looked like Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree. The buds all hit the counter top because they drooped so much. We had already put our kids to bed (they are 2 and 5 years old) so we had to wake them up to see mom open her gift. The giraffe was as stated on the Web site, but what a disappointment. To wait all day and finally get the gifts at 8:00 PM on Valentines Day ruined a special occasion.
Luckily, I have an understanding wife who was happy with the effort if not the outcome. When I called the customer care line (that's a laugh), the operator tried to blame UPS for the ** up. When I reminded her that ProFlowers contracted UPS and chose that method of delivery (so it is ProFlowers' responsibility), she could do nothing but agree. I got my money back for the flowers and delivery of flowers but no discount was offered for the giraffe. I will never order anything from ProFlowers or their five other businesses: ProPlant, Red Envelope, Cherry Moon Farms, Shari's Berries and Personal Creations.com. I should have read the reviews before I ordered from them. Check out this Web site: **. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of these brands.

Not a complaint. writing because surprised at published complaints. I've bought regularly online from Proflowers for several years. Always very pleased with fresh, budding flowers and with very professional service, including their emailed tracking updates. (Do not like the site's misleading 3rd-party offer of shipping discount, but after having investigated it once, I just ignore it.)

I have not received my total delivery rebate as advertised by ProFlowers. When I made my purchases, I spoke with customer service on several occasions regarding the particulars of my shipping rebate. There was never any mention of a fee to receive my rebate and any terms related to my rebate. I was told I could not receive any particulars regarding what needed to be done in order to ensure my money would be refunded to me. I was just repeatedly assured that each of my orders qualified for free shipping and my money would be refunded once I contacted freeshipping.com. I paid a total of $223.48 for my purchases.
The ProFlower's website advertised free delivery for my purchases. My total delivery cost was $41.96. I have only received a check for $11.99 and I paid two months of membership fees for a service with freeshipping.com that I never wanted. I was advised that I needed to pay this fee in order to receive my refund after I made the purchases and contacted freeshipping.com.

My husband purchased flowers for his mother and his stepmother for Mother's Day. He made the purchase online through ProFlowers.com and was offered "free shipping". What he (and apparently many others) didn't know is that once you choose the "free shipping" option, you are automatically enrolled in this bogus EZServerRewards Program and billed $1.95 for the initial payment and then $4.95 each following month. I discovered the charges and called the number. I got a female operator the first time with no satisfaction. The second time, only recordings that walk you through nonsense. I disputed the charges, cancelled the bogus membership and we shall see what happens with the refund.
I am also upset with ProFlowers for such questionable marketing practices. A lot of time and aggravation trying to reverse the damage done. I am very leery about making purchases online now. This is the third time within a month that I have found these kind of practices that piggyback onto a site. I suspect that there are a lot of people getting billed for services that they neither requested nor are aware that they are paying for. These companies are cleaning up and making a lot of unearned cash! Let the buyer beware!

I placed an order for flowers in May, 2009. I explicitly asked not to have my debit card shared on the account. When your screen comes up and says your order has been placed, there is a square that says "15% off of your next order with ProFlowers", and it tells you to click to get your coupon. I did not provide my information at the end of my ProFlowers order and did not accept the 15% offer so, the information was definitely given without my permission. I was immediate signed up with a company called Easy Saver.
A week later, when reviewing my bank statement, I noticed a charge of $1.95, and recently a charge of $14.95 by Easy Saver. I believe ProFlowers shared my credit card with Easy Saver. This was fraudulent. My checking account went into overdraft status.

through advertising in the internet and in flyers in the regular mail ProFlowers showed different kind of flowers arrangements for mothers day or another different occasions. I called them by phone to buy some of those pictured bouquets, one beautiful for the multiply of colors of the Peruvian Lilies, sunflowers, Iris,Lilies, and Gerbera Daisies. That Bouquet is called the Super Mom. With the extra pay for delivery on Saturday,(5/10/08)asking for a pink color vase, the total was about $95 bucks.
For my disappointment what I received was a bunch of tide closed bud form 12 inchs stem bouquet, with four or five Red Gerbera Daisies half open buds, accompanied with a Flower Care Instruc- tions booklet that stated that I was receiving closed buds and what care I had to take for seeing those flowers open in may-be a week later. What I got had nothing of colorful...it was 90% gren.
Immediately I got many digital pictures from that joke of flower bouquet. Later, I proceeded to send a complaint to proflowers.com, because if they declared in their advertisement that they were sending flowers to be, as buds, or they prevented the customers about it at the moment to make the order, I never could make such an order.
The consequence was economic, because I went later to seek for another kind of gift to reemplace that joke of flowers received from ProFlowers. At least I want to get back my money from them. And, as I wrote them in my complaint note....never try again to buy flowers from that comppany.

Proflowers fraudently released my credit card information to a third party without my consent. After ordering flowers on Proflowers.com on April 9, 2008, I was prompted with a pop-up window to receive 15% off my order. I closed out of this window and was reprompted. I reclosed the window. A couple of days later I saw 3 pending charges on my credit card -- 2 for EMI Marketing and one for Easy Saver.
Through research, I came to learn that EMI Marketing is the marketing company for Easy Saver which is connected to Proflowers. I contacted Proflowers immediately on April 11, 2008 and spoke with Denise who connected me with Easy Saver. A representative named Anna said she terminated my membership (which I never asked for) and will credit my credit card for the charge made by Easy Saver, but that I may not see such credit for up to 2 billing cycles (which is absurd). She told me that the credit should remove the EMI Marketing charges as well.

I have gone on their website every week for over a month to unsubscribe, and each time a note pops up saying "Oops, sorry. It didn't go through, please try again". Which of course, I did. I finally called them and I am supposedly not on their e-mail list but they really made it difficult to unsubscribe. I will never use them again.
