I did a Google search of this company and there is a reference to previous unsatisfied JustFab customers as "dummies". They say that people aren't reading the "fine print". This was not the case for my daughter. She joined, didn't like it and then called to cancel her membership. And even though she cancelled, they continued to debit her account. Several unsuccessful phone calls later, we had to consult the Better Business Bureau for assistance. And they (the BBB) were wonderful! They assisted my daughter in getting her $360 back. Perhaps someone else out there may choose this as an option if you are having difficulty in cancelling the unwanted membership and also in getting your refund.

There is nothing fair about this situation! I bought one pair of boots and yes, I did read all the fine print at the bottom of the page. I did exactly what was written. I unsubscribed at the bottom of their site as per instructions, then tried to phone them (according to their directions to call and say I was cancelling after I unsubscribed). I was put on hold for the first 15 minutes, then finally went to speaker phone for another 1 hour. No answer. I then unsubscribed the next month - exactly the way I did on my first attempt. I also called them. I was put on hold again forever and finally gave up. The charges still showed up on my bank statements.

A comment was made by another person in this discussion that it was my obligation to check every month and pass on their offering for that month. Why? I unsubscribed! I am not about to be always on alert every month to let them know I don't want to purchase anything once unsubscribed! This morning, I waited at least an hour and finally got to speak to someone. I wasn't very polite and pointed out my problem with them. The answer was, "All you had to do is check the email and alert us you didn't want anything that month. You wouldn't have been charged." What kind of answer is that? After much arguing, the gal said they would refund the recent charge, but couldn't do anything for the other charges made. What kind of business/customer relations is that?!

I am not finished. I definitely will contact every single consumer advocate I can locate and the FTC. I am not a stupid consumer, but now I feel as violated as being raped! It isn't the money as much as it is the entire business concept/customer service/satisfaction. According to all the comments made, they sure did make a lot of money off all of us! We are the only ones to stop it. They don't care about this complaint page. They are living off the innocent people who are still being consumer abused.

People who are complaining really need to read before they place orders with a company they are unfamiliar with (always look up reviews of other people before ordering!). Fortunately, I follow my own advice and had a wonderful experience. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was kind of a pain trying to cancel my membership after I made my first purchase (simply because they try so hard to get you to stay). I also went online afterwards and logged in and chose the option to "cancel membership". A month hasn't passed yet, so I'm hoping to god that they don't debit my account after double cancelling it, but I'm confident they won't.

I simply placed my order, called the customer service number immediately after placing my order and also went online and "double-cancelled". I purchased 2 purses which came to $52 after shipping and taxes (with the BoGo sale they have going). I shipped to Canada and was not charged any additional shipping/tax charges from customs. The purses are really nice, but they do have a strange smell to them (almost moth-ball like), but I'm certain that will tone down within the next week or so. From what I see, the quality is really nice. I'm more than happy with my purchase.

The items are garbage! I ordered once which made me a "VIP Member," which means they will charge you every month unless you skip the months. I had no idea what was going on until I saw the charges on my account. They would not give me a refund so I had to place another order to spend the "credit" on my account. I just cancelled! Stay away from this company!

I am always the person on the side of the "little guy" and rarely give corporations the benefit of the doubt, but I find it slightly absurd that this many people are posting consumer complaints about illegality, being robbed, JustFab losing customers, fighting 4-8 months worth of $39.95 charges, etc. Folks, this is a subscription website. It is the age-old format that magazine subscriptions and other such services/companies (Proactive, anyone?) have been using for decades. Once you sign up to receive something, you are defaulted to a monthly subscription until you say stop.

There are now dozens of online shopping sites setup like these out there (ShoeDazzle, ShoeMint, JewelMint, Birchbox, etc.,) and they all work this way. This is no secret. It's a fairly recent trend for online shopping boutiques to join in on, and they are quite clear on the way it works. A simple Google search or online review will tell you that in the first 2 minutes. If you choose not to research anything before you submit your confidential info to a shopping site you know nothing about, that is your decision. You also should know the downside when you put in your credit card that first time, and if you don't, you must be willing to accept at least part of the fault. No one should ever be careless or silly enough to enter credit card info on a website they've never used, without reading the Terms & Conditions (Yes, it's "Fine Print". It is considered your responsibility to read it and ensure you are in agreement).

If you choose to click a button and skip the details, at the very least do not be indignant and self-righteous about it. Admit the screw up, and then fight the good fight to try and get your money back. I am not a huge fan of these sites, either. I myself thought long and hard before I made my first purchase on a site like JustFab, and knew the repercussions. I also searched the FAQ for how to cancel my membership to make sure I wouldn't get trapped, in case I wanted to just make the 1 purchase and then cut it off. However, I knew that if I didn't click that button every month my $39.95 would be taken from me and I would be stuck. It would suck, but it would be my own responsibility or fault.

I created an account as well and did not fully understand how it worked. After realizing that I had been charged on my credit card for three months in a row ($120), I called and tried to cancel my membership. I asked if I could please get one month returned to me because I did not understand what I was signing up for. The girl cancelled one month's charges and I agreed to use my credits on my account before cancelling. When I called back to cancel my account, I was told that I wasn't allowed to cancel my account because by reversing the previous month's charge, I had agreed to stay on with JustFab for at least another month. Each time I called, I was on hold for 45 minutes or longer. Finally, I got through to someone in the next month and cancelled my account. Unfortunately, I am still being charged on my credit card even after cancelling my account. I am so frustrated and I would recommend that no one use this service. I even cancelled my credit card and got a new one, and they found a way to charge me still. It makes me sick to think that a company can do this to someone.

    Hi Amanda,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We apologize for any confusion as to how our program works. Take note that JustFab is a shoe and handbag of the month club. We strive to make our members be aware of our VIP membership. Once you have made your initial purchase, you automatically become a VIP member. As a VIP member, there is never an obligation to purchase every month. All we ask is for you to log in to your boutique every 1st through the 5th day of each month. You can view our new style selections or you can simply skip the month if nothing catches your eye and no credit will be generated for that month. Take note that if you forget to skip the month, a store credit worth $39.95 will be issued to you, which is good for future purchases It is valid for a year upon being issued so you can purchase items from your boutique anytime within the date of validity. Due to not being able to skip the months of August, Sept, November 2012, and January 2013, you were issued a total of 4 membership credits. With this, someone from our team will contact you shortly via message to further discuss your situation with you. I was on the phone with someone for 20 minutes trying to cancel my membership because she tried to explain to me all these great deals that they had for members. After taking $120 from me, I don't ever want to trust or buy anything from a company like them. Sucks that Kimora Lee works with them. Absolutely absurd.

I was going through the process of purchasing until the end when I read the terms to which I did not agree with. I did not click "I agree" and cancelled the order immediately, meaning I did not proceed with the checkout. They still charged me. Customer service there said now I have to send back the boots when I receive them and call back to get credited and cancel my account. I'm sure that will be a piece of cake, right? They bill me even though I don't finish the transaction, nor agree to the legal part, and it's my problem?! Do not ever shop there.

I am so happy to read that there are more people out there like me. I am fighting for 8 months of credits stemming back from 2011. I heard about these really cool shoe websites and visited JustFab because of Kimora Lee. I ordered a boot and found their shoes aren't comfortable, so I forgot about them and went on about my life. I checked months later to find that every month I was getting a charge for $39.95. I called throughout the course of last year, off and on, and I wasn't able to get the early credits credited. I am now at the stage of getting 4 months of credit with 8 more to go. I told them today that I am done with them borrowing money from me and I wanted it back.

I am going to complain to the BBB today (thank you for the suggestions), and I am also going to wait for a call back from their supervisors. I asked for a mailing address to complain to the president, and not surprisingly, they have no PO box. This is a recipe for disaster, and for any company not to have a mailing address, they are very shady. Not to mention their poor customer service of waiting at least 15-20 minutes for a chat (when they are online) or the same time frame when calling in. I'm sure they hope we will just hang up or not have time to share our complaints and they can collect an extra $39.95 from all of us. It also upsets me that there is no triage. Meaning, if you speak to a supervisor, they are the only ones left to speak to.

I thought JustFab is a large business with directors, managers, VP, etc. But it seems to me there is a front line person and a supervisor; at least that is what they want us to think. Could you imagine if we could speak to a real manager or VP of customer service? They wouldn't have time to do anything else. I think this company has very poor customer service, and I will never ever recommend them to anyone. Thank you for your posts.

How is what they are doing free to join and no obligation to buy?! They are playing with words and not being honest to their customers. Because the next month, they charge you $39.95 for being a member! How is that a membership perk? In the fine print, they have you agree to the purchase, which I think most of us think it says if you damage it, you can't return it. But that is not what it is. I admit I was dumb for not reading the whole thing but this needs to be stopped! Something needs to be done so that no one else has to be scammed.

The problem was that I noticed on my last credit card bill that I had been charged by JustFab $40 in December and I had no idea what for. I checked my old bills and noticed the same thing happened in November. My husband called them and they told him he can cancel my VIP membership (needless to say, I didn't actually signed up for one) but that they already charged our credit card for January and that I will lose $120 if I cancel my membership now. I think that what we all need to do is write official complaints to the Better Business Bureau and to California's State Attorney General. The more complaints they get, the better the chances are that JustFab's license will be revoked. What absolutely sickens me is that their target group is obviously women with lower income and they are shameless about stealing money from them. I lost $120 and that is a fortune for me, a student with a part-time job.

Like many of you on here, I too had a similar experience with Just Fab. Their gimmick is the 5-day opt-out period, in which you are automatically charged $39.95 if you do not skip the month by the 5th. Sadly, a member is put through this vicious cycle each and every month unless you cancel your membership. Cancelling a membership is no easy feat either because you are required to call customer service to do this. It seems every time I have called to cancel, I am on hold for twenty minutes before finally hanging up. Then when I finally get someone on the phone, they try to convince me to keep my membership or a supervisor is always too busy to get on the phone.

The whole purpose of me cancelling is because I cannot stand playing the "wheel of fortune" every month with these people. If I happen to forget to skip the month, then I automatically lose $40, which to me is quite valuable right now and is not needed to be used on shoes or purses. I made a complaint to the BBB online about their phony practices and I suggest that everyone else on here does the same. If they get enough complaints, then something could be done to fix this and perhaps prevent other people from being scammed just as we were.

I went on the website to make a one time purchase. I never realized that it was a membership and I was going to be charged $39.99 monthly. I called the customer service and was told that membership is free and that I was given the option to select what I wanted and I did not select any order merchandise, but I was still charged $39.95 every month after my purchase in October. I did not select what I wanted but was still charged $39.95. For what? I have no idea. This company steals from the customer. Be aware. Do not order. Please review every online website before you enter your debit card or credit card information and make purchases.

JustFab just does bad business and that's it. I bought one pair of shoes from them back in October because they were running a 50% off sale and the low price pulled me in. I had never purchased from their site before and never will again! It is extremely deceiving how they automatically sign you up for a monthly VIP membership that charges your account $39.95. I know I should have read the "fine" print better but I think they know that most people don't and that's how they get you. I buy a lot online but usually from reputable companies (Nordstrom, Amazon, etc.) and I have never had this happen to me.

I only noticed the $39.95 charge from JustFab to my credit card yesterday. I was pretty upset after I realized what happened and that my card was also charged in December. I called twice yesterday and each time the message said, "We are experiencing extremely high call volume," and I was on hold for 10 minutes each time. I tried again this morning and got the same message.

How can I call so many other businesses that are held in such high regard and talk to someone? How come JustFab is so busy? It's sad they have to lie like this. I finally talked to someone this morning and they won't refund my $80 so I'm going to buy two more pairs of crappy shoes and then cancel this horrible membership. I'm very disappointed in whoever runs this site. It's a scam and they are taking people's money. It is so sad.

Seriously, stay far, far away from JustFab. They make it nearly impossible for you to cancel. I bought a pair of boots on sale, figuring I could just cancel. Wrong! It turns out the only way to cancel is by calling a number. The first time I called, they were closed. Then before I knew it, it was the 6th of the month, and I had been charged $40. I called today to cancel, waited on the line for twenty minutes, only to be told that if I were to cancel before I used the "credit", I would be forsaking the $40. What?! What a horrible, sleazy service. And seriously, their selection is tiny, their styles lean towards trashy, and anything that's vaguely cute tends to be out of stock. Just stay away. It's not worth the hassle.

The owners of justfab.com are pretty dumb. I purchased once from them and I was actually satisfied with the product and shipping time. Then, they messed the whole thing up with their obligated "VIP" service. I saw it right away on my credit card the month after my purchase. I tried calling, emailing, and chatting. Nothing worked. I got billed again on the second month after my purchase. That was it. I called my credit card company, got reimbursed and cancelled my credit card. I'm angry because they have potential but now they are barred from my list of online stores. How stupid can you be to force your clients like that?

Well, reviewers, it's now 2013 and Ms. Simmons is still being allowed to scam folks out of nearly $40 monthly on what is probably an astronomical scale! I, too, was dumb enough to make a purchase from "Just Fab" back in the first week of December and now they tried to charge my credit card again when I bought nothing else! I guess we're supposed to pay for emails now. I really love the boots I did buy but not enough to pay for them forever. The complaints I've read are very true. I wasn't told of any monthly fee. However, I keep only one credit card for online purchases. I don't keep a lot of money on it, and I have text alerts set up to notify me of charges to it. So when they tried to get my $40, they got zip and I was alerted of the scam and promptly called their customer service and removed my subscription (that I never asked for in the first place). I think little Miss Lee should get a real job and stop robbing people!

The person on the phone tried to say that it was to make it easier on the warehouse. Don't insult me. I admit I should have been smarter about making an online purchase and read all of the terms and service, which I usually do look up reviews. But honestly, all the ones I saw were quite positive but none really mentioned that it was a subscription service. No, I am not making a complaint about them charging me $39.95 for nothing but their misleading concept just like most of you agree upon and also their horrible service on the phone and e-mail. First, yes, they should make it clear to everyone that this site is a subscription site and constantly remind people through e-mail about opting out, which I was not aware of because of no reminder and the unclearness.

A successful business should be a business all about customer satisfaction in order for them to want to make more purchases rather than make money off people's ability to forget. Everyone has a busy schedule regardless, and JustFab is not always on our mind. The first time I ordered and my package came in the mail. The delivery man asked me for $20 for the custom fees, which I was not aware of. My order was only $90 so that is crazy because I was already charged for taxes. So I e-mailed them because they were closed for holidays, and told them to cancel my account and please send a confirmation e-mail. No one replied, so the next morning I called. The first lady I talked to tried so hard to convince me to stay and I said no, it was an inconvenience, even with her offer of 1 free credit.

I read all your reviews and was aware of it and I didn't want to go through with another call which later I did. She was very unprofessional the way she handled my questions, but she was not as bad as the second. She also said "love you" at the end. This is a business relationship and we are not best friends, especially with my inconvenience. The second lady I had to call back because it said I was still a VIP member. I swear she changed it right as I told her my issue because I kept signing in and out for 10 minutes and the lady before said it will take exactly "2.5 seconds." I asked her to remove my information and she said she cannot do that. What?! My billing information is all on that and that site is not trusted. So I told her to completely close my account and she said she can't!

I remember seeing a cancel button online, which is only available for usage by non-members, which I had now become. I clicked on it, but I am still a member! Hello?! This site is such a scam, it says I can opt out whenever I want, but in reality, I can't. Also, this second lady kept cutting me out, being the diva she is. She kept yelling at me saying, “No ma’am, no ma’am” and just wouldn't let me talk. So I talked louder and said close my account, which she couldn't do. I will never support this company again and will only talk badly about it because of the horrible service they provide their customers.

I canceled my account right after I ordered something because like everyone else, I had no idea that they charge monthly for buying nothing. The first person I talked to was nice and canceled my account with no problem. Then I found out I can still log in. Pissed that it wasn't really canceled but they canceled my order and I can't buy anything but it still said I was a member, I called to ask why and the woman was completely rude. She told me it's canceled because I can buy anything and kept avoiding my question about why it still says I'm a member. And then I asked to talk to a supervisor but she was just too busy.

So I called again because I found out I can't take my credit card off the website, which made me even more pissed. Finally, I got to talk to a supervisor and she said there's nothing she can do but to let the company know about my request. They will be getting a call from me in the next few days. Along with this, I'm canceling my credit card and making sure I get my refund from my canceled show order. I'm definitely not making this mistake of ordering again. But a warning to everyone, they keep your credit card number!

JustFab.com - Like others, I was unaware that this site charges your credit card a $39.95 every month for a 'VIP membership' from the moment you purchase an item. I have purchased a lot of things on the web over the years, but this is the first time I got suckered into something like this because most businesses actually want your return business. I don't think the folks at JustFab really care as long as you make an initial purchase so they can try to take as much from you as they can before you realize what's going on. I saw an ad on FB for boots for $39.95 and went to look around. They didn't seem to have a very large selection and it seemed like most boots were sold out in my size.

But then I found a pair I liked and the product reviews all favored the boots. Then a window popped up and said since I was a first-time visitor, I could order anything in the $39.95 price range and get the item for only $20.00. So, I ordered the boots. They came in at the time the site said they would and they fit well and I liked them a lot. The next month, my bank account was tapped for the first $39.95 charge. After my initial confusion, I did some searching on the web to figure out why the site dinged my bank account the following month when I hadn't ordered anything since the boots. Too late, that's when I discovered that I had inadvertently signed up for a membership.

After seeing hundreds of complaints on this site and others, I decided to skip the whole game of trying to cancel and simply went straight to my bank and ordered a new card. And my branch manager told me that if the site somehow manages to get another fee out of me this month, to come in and they would do a dispute and give me my money back. My bank does not like business practices like this and will help their customers. I love my bank! Lesson learned but I'll be on the lookout for scams like this in the future, believe me!

I'm a seventeen-year old girl who loves shoes. When I heard JustFab was having two for $39.95, I joined and purchased a pair of shoes and a handbag. The handbag was great; however, the shoes were too tight and way too tall. I no longer wished to be associated with them, so I added them to the spam list of my email account thinking that would be the end of my experience with them. Boy, was I wrong. Five months later, I heard they were having this sale again so I got on the website to see if there was anything I wanted. When I got there, they made me log in, and on my account profile, it told me I had five credits. I had no clue what that meant, but after some research, I discovered this meant my mom's credit card (I used her card because I'm 17 and I don't have one) had been charged $39.95 on five separate occasions! I was furious! I tried to unsubscribe online, but since I was a VIP, I had to call them to do so.

When I called, I pressed all the buttons the automated voice told me to press to take me to someone who would cancel my account. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, a fast talking woman named Vicky tried desperately to get me to stay and she sounded absolutely shocked and personally offended that I wanted to cancel. She kept trying to tell me how JustFab works, and I kept saying "I know and I don't care. I want to be cancelled right now." She even offered to give me one free credit. I declined. After that 45-minute adventure, she agreed to cancel it and thanked me for my business. I feel horrible having my mother's money fraudulently taken like this. It was probably easily overlooked by my parents because we are in the process of building our house so we are constantly paying random amounts of money to random companies. That's $200 we will never see again.

Swagbucks offered 1,015 swagbucks if you did a BOGO on JustFab for $39.95. I'd seen their commercials and honestly, I'd never really been interested, but I thought I'd take a look. I took the fashion quiz and got the pop-up about getting my first pair for $19.95. I looked around the site for a few hours. It took that long because every pair I somewhat liked (liked enough to spend money on) was Out of Stock. So I gave up on shopping and thought maybe I'd find something later I liked. Plus, I had a bad gut feeling about the company the whole time, just a sinking feeling.

Now I know why after reading these reviews. It's true that their deceptive, money-sucking and highly unethical business practices are buried in fine print. This is how I found out that part. After receiving the email with my Personal Boutique, I went and looked at what was chosen for me. Honestly, I was impressed by how well they nailed my style, but who in the world can wear 5" or higher heels? That's insane! Between the Out of Stock problem and the ridiculous heel heights, JustFab couldn't win a purchase from me, which turned out to be lucky for me since I spared myself the heartache of giving them my CC number for them to abuse over and over as you all have detailed here.

I might have liked some of the shoes in stock if they'd been 1/2 as tall. I noticed while spending all that time looking at their selections they have very, very few heel heights in the 1"-4" range, which I find interesting. That would be the heel height that is appealing to most women, so who is their target market, anyway? Like someone else here said, they're only shoes that would be appropriate in a gentleman's club. No disrespect, anyone, and honestly some of them are super cute, but I just can't see how in the world you can walk in something that tall or where you would wear them.

Regardless, back to the scam. After perusing my boutique, I saw a link for getting more choices. I clicked it wondering if my choices would come up right away or if I'd have to wait for another email. It was there on that next screen that I saw something fishy that made me dig deeper. It said something about having a choice to get another boutique selection or skipping a month and then something else about buying every month. Skipping a month and buying every month raised a red flag for me.

I searched and found reviews here that told the whole story and then I went to the T&C at JustFab's website and read it for myself. I feel so sorry for everyone here who has been so blatantly ripped off. The stories of horrid customer service are just terrible too. I feel for you guys so much. Since I could never find a pair I liked, I never went into Checkout and never gave CC info. They only have my email. After all this, I immediately went into my Account and cancelled. It didn't say anything about having to call, which I've read here in the reviews, but maybe that's because I've never ordered anything and they don't have any payment info.

It's nice to know from everyone in these reviews that the quality sucks and the sizing is unpredictable because that's what I sensed all along. It felt like the shoes were more like $10 shoes, if that, than $40 shoes. Plus, I didn't really feel like spending the money. I'm glad my gut and their constant Out of Stock messages talked me out of going further. If I'd taken it all the way, I know I'd be in the boat where I'd just have to write the money off because I'm not about to bother with their crappy CS that you guys have warned us all about when they refuse to give you your money back. Then I'd get my credit or debit card cancelled and get a new one. I'd see if my bank could report it as fraud and get my money returned.

Hopefully, fraud reports are bad marks against a company too. I commend any of you who report JustFab to the Attorney General, BBB and anyone else that has some power to put losers like this out of business. Bottom line is JustFab's business practices are wrong and they're preying on the fact that most people take for granted that when they make a purchase, they are making only that one purchase. Plus, folks expect that when they join a club or become a member that their membership is something they clearly enter into and it is plainly explained and stated right upfront. We've all made purchases and we've all become members before, but rarely are the two mixed together in a way that is so cleverly hidden. This type of business practice should be illegal.

I visited this website and created an account after seeing an ad on Facebook for "2 for $39.95 boots on JustFab.com." What I was really doing, unbeknownst to me, was signing up for a $40 monthly membership! After I bought the boots (big mistake not to do this before the purchase), I checked out some reviews I found searching on Google (the ones on their site are FAKE). I found out that I didn't really just buy boots for half off, I signed up to pay $40/month to shop on this site. With all the free shopping sites out there, who in their right mind would pay to use one?! Well one review on this website said that the customer called her bank and had the charges noted as fraudulent. So, I did the same thing. My bank refunded the charges and cancelled my card for me right away so they couldn't charge me a dime. Oh, and they will never answer the phone. Kimora, this is horribly deceitful. I don't know how you sleep at night.

There is a reason why 86% of the consumers ordering from JustFab are angry. The owner, Kimora, who is already extremely financially comfortable, thought it would be a great idea to start a cheap shoe company and scam consumers into thinking that, not only are they getting terrific shoes, but also charge them for using the site. My family does a lot of shopping online for convenience but never came across a website that charges a monthly fee for the sake of greed and with extremely rude and unpleasant customer service reps. While speaking with one of the reps, the rep decided to tell another employee that she is "ready to go off on this ** (which was me)" while I was sitting on the line listening.

When asked if she was talking to me, she simply said, "yes, you **", and simply hung up on me. And you wonder why everybody is mad? There are 2 reasons for charging the extra fee: 1) greed and 2) to pay the unworthy reps the $2 per hour they don't deserve. And as for the people that gave this site 5 stars, please rethink this. Why would you pay a monthly membership fee when you can save all that darn money and buy more shoes somewhere else or better yet, invest it. But don't invest in Kimora's future. Now that's an aha moment!

This company is a scam, horrible customer service, shoes are never the true size. I am currently stuck with 4 pairs of shoes I cannot fit, two of which I am still within its 30-day return policy but I can't seem to get a live person on the phone. When I reached what I thought was a live person, after being on hold 25 min., she asked me my first and last name 5 times. After getting frustrated, I stated that I've given her my name several times. This person proceeded to say some gibber and ended the call.

I tried to go online to return the shoes and they told me I had to speak to someone in order to do so because of my membership status was "v.i.p.", but I have been treated anything but. I couldn't cancel my membership unless I forfeited my $130 credit, so I had to purchase 3 more shoes, all which I ordered a half size bigger. Only one pair fits and the other two are like a shoe size and a half too small, wth! Plus they're going to charge me a $5 restock fee for each item returned. Why, when it's not my fault their product is not up to par and doesn't fit even after I ordered a half size bigger than what my actual shoe size is?

The first time I tried cancelling my membership, the woman told me I just had to log on once a month to skip the charge. I did so,"logged on" thinking I was in the clear. Six months pregnant, trying to get something to eat on my lunch break, I swipe my card and it's declined. After figuring out why, I called for them to return my money as I had none to feed myself and my unborn child. This lady proceeded to say, "Oh, you have to click 'skip this month' too, not just log on." So I said, "Why did the other lady just tell me to only log on?" She had no answer.

Long story short, I had to call my bank and force them to make it a fraudulent charge in order for me to have my money back in my account so I could feed my unborn child because JustFab was non-sympathetic to my circumstances and their misinformation from their staff. I'm still trying to return the shoes and cancel my membership.

Like many others, I was fooled by JustFab. I purchased a pair of shoes on Oct. 9th, unaware that I was signing my life away to the devil. The shoes were subpar, but I kept them anyway and decided to cancel my membership. I just skipped the month of Nov. because the hold time was outrageous and the live chat is always closed. I made a note to call before Dec. 1st to cancel my membership. One November 30, I finally reached an agent, Jennifer, after holding for 45 minutes. She was nice until I told her I wanted to cancel. She then began hounding me trying to get me to stay.

After asking nicely for about 15 more minutes, she said she would cancel it. I asked for a confirmation number and she told me to use her name as my confirmation. What?! Of course, I wasn't given her last name, ID#, etc. I thought my nightmare was over. Two days ago, I saw the $39.95 charge on my bank account. I was furious! I called them immediately and got an answer after 5 min. (I had to call around 4 am for this speedy answer). The man who answered claimed there was no record of me ever calling on Nov. 30 and their charges are non-refundable and I could use my credit to get more shoes.

I still have my first pair in the closet, so there was no way I was buying another pair. I hung up on him and called my bank. The bank "conferenced" JustFab on the line and we waited on hold for 20 minutes with no answer. The bank agent immediately put in a Stop payment and credited my account. The bank will be refunding my money within 24 hours. They also put a block on my account so JustFab can no longer bill me. Don't waste your time or hard-earned money with the company!

I'm so disappointed in all the YouTube Stars who are endorsing this scam site. First of all, they sell extremely inferior quality items. Secondly, I've encountered so many problems just trying to get one pair of shoes. First, I ordered a pair of shoes - no problem. I got the shoes in a week. However, one of the shoes gave me a terrible blister and ripped my skin off. They let me return that pair of boots for no cost as it was not my fault the shoes had something in the stitching that cut me. So I did a live chat with one of their employees who happily obliged to my new order of a purse. However, they would not ship out the replacement item until they received and processed the return item. When that happened, however, the purse that was put on hold was sold out. So they cancelled the shipment and issued me $19.95 store credit. I paid $21.50 for my first pair of shoes because a tax is applied.

They sent me an email saying I can feel free to choose my new item. They charged me $39.95 for my replacement which is still my first pair of shoes. They charged me tax on it and applied the $19.95 store credit. It came out to $23.10 that I had to pay extra for one pair of shoes. After I told them what happened, they said okay they will refund that amount. They gave me $20 back. Then I clicked skip a month which says I will not be charged for that month. They charged me another $39.95 without ever refunding me the correct amount of money. As of now, they owe me the $39.95 and $3.10 they conveniently left out of the refund I did receive. Originally, they tried to sneakily charge me three payments of $21.50 for my first pair of shoes. That issue was resolved quickly. I have received no indication that my money will be returned or that I may cancel the membership. Complete scam! I tried to call but the phone keeps telling me to check the number I called. I triple checked on the website that I entered the correct number.

This website is such a scam! They charged me for $39.95 for buying absolutely nothing! Apparently, they charge you monthly to be a member!? First of all, this was never anything that I read while signing up! Not even in fine print! Their customer service is horrible. I've been calling all morning for about four hours now! Four hours and still no answer! I want my money back and I want to cancel this! Can anyone help me please?!

    Hi Bridget,

We sincerely apologize for your experience with JustFab. We are sorry for any confusion as to how our VIP membership works. Once you've made your 1st purchase, which here on our records show was on October 23, 2012 for the Alicia shoes, you automatically became a VIP member. Being a VIP member does not oblige you to purchase each month. All you have to do is log-in to your account every 1st to the 5th of each month and choose the "Skip The Month" option to avoid the membership credit charge. However, if you forget to skip the month, a store credit worth $39.95 will be issued to your account. Someone from our team will contact you shortly via e-mail to further assist you. If you have further questions and clarifications, you may reach us by phone at 866.337.0906, available 24 hours 7 days a week.

They hide this information very well while being legit about it. No matter how hard you try, they will not give you your money back. I am a student, new to online shopping and am very angry that this has happened to me.

I called three times and they have yet to resolve this and they kept telling me it was my bank. Finally, I had my bank and JustFab on the line at the same time. The bank specifically told them it had nothing to do with them and just as easy as JustFab pulled the money out the account, they could return it just as easy! Now, they have taken the credit off my account but they never refunded me the money! So where exactly did my money go?! Scammers!

This company hides in the fine print that they will charge you $39.99/month to get "VIP treatment" unless you opt out within a certain time frame. When they ask you if you want to sign up, it does not clearly state that you will be charged the monthly fee. Instead, I discovered it when I checked my account statement. I had to wait for 15 minutes before my call was answered due to an "unusually high volume of calls" (which is "unusually high" regardless of what time or day you call), after which it took several holds and arguing to get the manager to refund my money. Then the product broke, just after the 30-day return period ended. All over the site, they advertise "free shipping and easy returns," but only for a limited period of time. Again, I had to fight to get my item exchanged because they would not refund my money (which they will only do so after charging a $5 "restocking fee"). These people have tried more than once to pilfer money from me. Do not shop with them. I feel like a fool for doing so.

JustFab is a travesty. It's unfortunate that innocent consumers who work hard for their money are being conned out of it, thinking that they are just visiting a shoe shopping site and making a simple purchase.

Let me start by saying I cannot and will not disagree with the statement that "People should do their research before providing credit card information" or "The $39.95 monthly charge is in the fine print." These statements are true. However, that does not mean that JustFab has its customers’ best interest at heart. They do not, and that is the problem.

Even if people misunderstand how JustFab works, or fail to read the fine print before they sign up, what is the excuse for the unprofessionalism on JustFab's end or their terrible customer service? How is being called "baby" and "sweetie" while on the phone even acceptable? What about the wait time to cancel? Hoping that people will simply get tired of waiting and hang up, thus getting charged another $39.95 the next month? Why is there an option online to cancel, but when you select this option, you have to call in anyway? How is it appropriate for the CSR's to tell the customers that they cannot get a manager or a supervisor? What about returns?

How can they decide to charge the customer a non-negotiable $9 restocking fee, even if JustFab is at fault for shipping out a broken or defective product? Ridiculous! If they are in business to con people out of $39.95 a month, the least that they could do is make sure that every other area of their business is satisfactory and in order. Meaning, professional CSR's, waiving the re-stocking fees, shortening the wait times to speak to a representative, and last but not least, providing a quality product! The quality of JustFab's shoes are not worth the $39, and they are definitely not worth a monthly charge.

I think it's important to realize that even if we cannot technically call JustFab a "scam," we really do need to focus on their goal, which is to get people to sign up for this service and anticipate them forgetting to log in and skip a month. Additionally, even if a person does read the fine print and agrees to the terms and conditions, it is really silly to expect someone to always remember to sign into JustFab once a month just to press the "skip this month" link, especially if the customer is only interested in purchasing one item. It is also equally silly to only allow them to do this between 1-5 days. They could at least offer them a grace period, or allow the customer a one-time refund if they forget to skip a month.

Furthermore, if JustFab truly wants to appear to be ethical and fair, then they should advertise themselves to be a monthly membership shoe service, and not word their website to give the impression that it's okay to "Shop the styles you love, skip the ones you don't." They need to add "while still being charged monthly" to the end of that sentence and then maybe they could be considered ethical. If they are not trying to hide anything, or con anyone, then what's wrong with being upfront about how they operate?

I think the bottom line here is simply that JustFab does not care about its customers. They are out to get as much money as they can while providing the least that they can. This is not a company to deal with unless you want to get terrible customer service, a low quality product, and get charged $39.95 monthly. (Unless, of course, you remember to take time out of your busy schedule every month to log in to their site just to tell them that you don’t want to purchase anything.) But don't worry, there's a silver lining:

This is the type of site that will ultimately crash and burn. More and more people will become angry, tired, dissatisfied, and plain old unhappy with the many elements of ridiculousness associated with JustFab, and those people will spread the word to their friends and family (and websites like this) which will cause a negative ripple effect until JustFab is no longer around, which will be a happy day for online shoppers.

Businesses with practices like these never last long, especially with similar companies emerging that do not share these issues or unethical practices and behaviours. An example is ShoeDazzle. In my personal opinion, ShoeDazzle is by far a better company. (Which makes sense, seeing as they were the original.) There is no monthly membership fee, and in my personal opinion, the quality of their products is much better. You get the shoes much faster than you do from JustFab. Even in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, returning it is easy and fast, and you don't have to worry about someone telling you that you can only get a store credit if you are unhappy with your purchase. You get your money back, no questions asked. Last but not least, their customer service is superb, and you don't have to endure a 30-min fight with a CSR if you decide you want to cancel. If you want a pleasant experience, I say give them a try.

Well, that's all I got. At the end of the day, I say hit your local mall or shoe retailer. Your forty bucks will go much further, and without the headache that JustFab will cause you.

I ordered some shoes online on this past Sunday, and they sent me an email with a FedEx number to track my order. Well, the number did not provide me with tracking information. FedEx system stated that there was no information in their system. I thought "Hmm, that is weird because how can you provide me with a FedEx tracking number, but no tracking information?" The representative communicated to me that they ship the items to FedEx, who in turn delivers them to the post office, which will deliver my package. I have never heard of anything so crazy before in my life! So, I asked her, "So when can I expect my package," and she told that there will not be a delay, because she sees in her system that FedEx just hasn't updated their system with my items yet. I asked her, "After 3 days they have not?" None of this makes sense to me.

My second issue with them is when I went to cancel my membership. I told her I was completely unaware that I would be charged $39.95 a month. That would be transferred into their credit so that I can shop. I communicated that I don't have a need to shop every month like that, and I may forget to click, "skip a month". It does not make any sense for me to allow you to take my $39.95 (cash) and transition it into a credit for an online store I might never shop at again. She became very aggressive, and tried to stand her ground, but when she saw that I was not budging, she finally said she cancelled the membership and made it very clear to me that I could only exchange my order 1 time if anything was wrong with it..

I am so unsure whether my items will actually be delivered to me considering I have no way of tracking them. My prayer is that whenever they do, they are the correct size and the right color and all. Unfortunately, because of this experience I will more than likely never order from them again.

I was quite happy to see the commercial but never realized, as were many other unsuspecting consumers, that this was a membership site. Times are tough for all of us and I think preying on the innocent is wrong and diabolical. They don't tell you it's a membership until after you order and submit your credit card information. I was shocked and sick once I submitted my order to see that I would be charged monthly $39.95! Even if I don't buy a thing! How is this legal? Anyways, I immediately called (and waited for a rep to answer) on my cell phone for 45 minutes. All the while I am visualizing my minutes being sucked up by these swindlers! Not only are they basically raping my credit card, they won't be happy until they also take my cellular minutes!

When I finally spoke to someone, he was nice up until I said I wanted to cancel my membership. That's when he began speaking over me. He was not going down without a fight! But I wasn't either! I stayed the course and remained firm, no thank you! I was sounding like a broken record that I said it so many times. I am currently waiting for the shoes to be delivered as I was told it was too late to cancel my order since it was in route. After reading everyone's comments on the quality of shoes and all the blunders (wrong size, wrong color, wrong texture, uneven sizes), I am expecting the worse but hoping for mediocre. I will write my review when I see my boots in person - fingers crossed.

One helpful hint I discovered is use the live chat. You don't wait nearly as long and you can have actual written proof that you cancelled your membership! I plan to use that should they continue to charge my account. I also plan to change my credit card and issue a new one just to be safe! Not pleased with this site at all!

They charge your account every month and you will quickly build up a number of credits that you won't even want to use because the selection is not great. And don't even bother trying to get a refund - no matter how much you complain or how unhappy you are, they will not give you your money back. You are just stuck buying something else on their website. Apparently at JustFab, the customer is not always right, and moreover, taking money out of your customers' accounts every month with poorly advertised disclosure, and offering poor quality merchandise, is completely ethical and considered good business.

I had cancelled my membership in September 2012 due to lack of work. I did the correct way of canceling the account then called by phone to cancel. All was good; they gave me a credit. I received the boots and I loved them. I looked at my statement for November and I noticed they charged my credit card at the end of October after I already cancelled and they tried it again in November. I had caught that one and called my credit card company to cancel the transaction in time. So I waited on hold for 30 plus minutes to get a real person. After talking to her and explaining I could not afford the 40 dollars a month at this time, which I already told them back in September, she told me, “Fine” and that I had a credit to use from the month of October, which was already off my credit card.

So today November 8, 2012 I tried to call to redeem my credit and after waiting on hold another 45 minutes, I was told my account was cancelled so I no longer have a credit. After arguing with this woman on the line, listening to her tell me lies from one day before I was told something completely different. They are poor business people that disregard their customers. All they do is lie! I would never buy another thing from this company and will tell everyone I know and can reach out to, don’t buy from JustFab! When I went online to redeem my credits, everything went through smoothly until the next day, my father was pissed because he was just charged $39.95 for no reason. I was furious and decided to call JustFab, demanded a refund and the cancellation of my account. After keeping me on for half an hour, I finally got through to a representative. I requested a refund and she said she couldn't do anything because you can't refund a store credit.

After I told her I wanted my account cancelled, they had the audacity to try and convince me I was better off with them than without them. I made sure my request got through to her and hung up. This company is just here to gain money and scam you. Don't fall for it. You're better off paying double the price of shoes at Aldo than falling into this trap.

Well, I had seen commercials everywhere for all of these cute shoes that I could buy pretty inexpensive. I'm a college student with a part time job on the weekends so I thought, oh buying a nice pair of boots would be a splurge on myself for the first time in awhile. Wrong! For starters, the package took a week and a half longer than it originally said it would but I didn't need these for anything specific so I remained patient. I was so excited when I saw that the boots had come in. I opened them as I ran up to my dorm room. Disappointment was written all over my face. I had ordered a light tan pair of boots that were shiny. The boots I received were more of a dull gray color. And I thought, "Hmm, this doesn't look like what I ordered." But when I tried them on, I figured, "Hey, I just spent twenty bucks on these. I may as well wear them occasionally and they aren't horrible." But they did look much cuter in the picture.

In the box with the boots, there were some papers so I read them over. That's when I discovered that I would be charged a membership fee. I did not sign up to be a member. I just bought some boots! Or so I thought. Apparently, I would be getting charged $40 a month unless I chose to skip the month by the fifth. Well, when I looked at the date, it was the seventh. So of course, $40 was charged to my debit account. Great. So I called the number that is listed on the website and it was 45 minutes to even hear a real person's voice! 45 minutes! When I finally got to talk to someone, I explained my college/financial situation hoping that the woman on the line would be understanding, but all I got was attitude. She told me that the $40 charge was written in the terms of service and that it was my fault that I didn't read it. (Try saying that without an attitude, yeah she didn't try either.)

So I stayed on the phone with her arguing that I just wanted to get my $40 back and cancel my membership. After arguing for an hour, she said, "Fine, it's cancelled. Happy?" And then hung up on me! At the start of the call, it said that it was being recorded so I hope she was fired for being so rude. A little over a month later, I got an e-mail from my bank account saying that I overdrew my account. I really don't spend money because I'm so broke, so I was confused. But when I checked, the withdrawal was from JustFab.com. But how? I cancelled my account weeks ago! So I called customer service and again waited an unreasonable amount of time and finally someone answered. He said that in the notes to my account, it said that I wanted to cancel my account but ended up changing my mind. This did not happen.

So I tried to stay polite with the man on the phone because I knew that this was not his fault. Then he began to argue with me about how keeping my account could be so beneficial to me and how I could just skip the month whenever I couldn't afford it. I told him ‘no’ politely three times and then began to get angry when he insisted the seventh time. To say the least, this company is horrible. I will be sure to tell anyone I know how rotten and full of deception they really are. As for my satisfaction rating, I wish I could give zero stars.

When I called, they said they can only refund me 2 of the charges out of 6 back. She insisted on me using them on the site. The shoes bought were unbalanced so I never wore them and I couldn't even sell them on Craigslist. I want my money back, plain and simple. I never checked any box, and I never read the reviews until now. Don't fall in this trap. This company is for sure a scam. Don't fall for that $19.95 crap if you want to buy anything on this site. I was so excited to place my order on JustFab. I kept hearing about it everywhere, so before I signed up, I did my research. I was aware that it was a monthly subscription, and you have to hit skip, a month before a certain date, to avoid being charged. I was fine with that. I placed my order for one pair of heels; the shipping took about two weeks, in my opinion that was quite long. The shoes arrived; I was so disappointed with the quality. It did not even look like what it was listed. The sole of the shoes was poorly glued on; the seam on the quilted part of the shoes was coming undone. For $49, I expected a little more than that, not worth it one bit. I decided to get on the phone and call to cancel my service, not even looking to return or exchange, I just didn't want to be bothered by the company. I waited 30 minutes to speak to someone. I simply just wanted to cancel, the representative went on and on about how I could get a free gift, extra points, etc. I sternly said no. She gave me an attitude, and I had to wait about another good 15 minutes before she hung up.

I was on hold for 26 minutes before I talked to a representative, and she wouldn't listen to my request. She just kept telling me about all the great deals and how I should follow them on Twitter. Finally, after 10 minutes, she said that my account was cancelled. When I asked for a confirmation number, she said they didn't do that. To verify, I could add something to my account, and if the order wouldn't go through, that meant my account was cancelled. What a shady company.

I wanted to get a pair of boots for my new job and joined JustFab to get what are supposed to be great boots. Well, I got the boots and only after I received them was I told about the $40/month fee. Screw that. So, I looked online for customer service information and saw a live chat option. I clicked it and waited. And waited. And waited. About 15 minutes into waiting for a rep, I called the number, leaving the chat open just in case. I waited 45 minutes for someone to answer the phone. The person on the chat ended up answering before anyone on the phone so I asked them about canceling my membership. "We cannot do that via live chat, you will have to call customer service." What? You can't ask for my name and address to confirm my identity over chat? I told her that I had been waiting for over 30 minutes for someone to answer the phone and the only response I got from Ebony was "Oh no!"

I asked her to just give me the name of a supervisor so I may complain to them. She said that I can call the number. I told her I was not going to call the number, that I wanted the name of a person. In the meantime, someone finally answered the phone and I asked to cancel the account. She asked why and I said (because I am now frustrated with CS) I, "I am not at all happy with customer service." "Well, this is the first time you've ever called so what are you not happy with?" Imagine that sentence said with an attitude. It took 30 minutes to try and close the account. 30!

Seriously, 30 minutes of that. Well, I finally got her to say "I have cancelled your account." That's when she immediately hung up on me. So then I went to wait another 20 minutes for someone on chat to answer so I can get a confirmation number for my cancel account. Now I have wasted my entire lunch, plus some on these people. Not worth it in the slightest. Oh and I asked the woman on chat the second time why they're not allowed to cancel accounts via chat. She said, "Because we're not authorized to cancel account for security reasons" - or you try to annoy people into staying because you realize far too many people don't care about your company?

I ordered a pair of Chessey boots from their site, received an order number, and was charged for these boots. About a week later, when I tried to see where my boots were, I saw that there was a "cancelled" note on my order. When I called the first time, I was put on hold for 27 minutes before I hung up! Then, I called the next day and was put on hold for 22 minutes, before I hung up! Then I tried their live chat, where I waited 6 minutes to chat with someone, and after every response like "What is your name," it would take them about 2 minutes on average to come up with a response like "Thanks for your response." The agent was of no help to me and informed me that I would not be charged for these boots, and that due to high demand, the boots that I had ordered and paid for were given to someone else, and that there was nothing they could do about it.

After this I told her that in that case, they refund my money, and cancel my account with them. She informed me that I had to call in to cancel my membership. When I said that I have never been able to reach anyone on the phone because of the high wait times, she said there has been high call volume but unfortunately, I must call in. Finally after a week of trying, I reached someone. And the money that was supposed to not have been charged was in fact charged on the 7th of this month. When I spoke to the "fashion consultant," she told me it was out of their hands and that I have to call my credit card company to dispute the charge! When I told her to cancel my account, she had the audacity to ask me not 1 but 3 times why I was cancelling, and if I was sure, and what they could do to keep me as a member. I told her 3 times that this site has caused a nightmare, and I didn't want to keep my account. But she kept me on the phone for another 10 minutes trying to convince me to stay.

It was the largest hassle, and I'm still trying to dispute the charge with my insurance company for a boot I never received. Save yourself the worry. I read other reviews that said the boots were poorly made anyway.

I ordered a pair of boots because they were having a special and I got them for $19.95. All was good so far. Then, I noticed my account was charged $34.95 because they have a membership fee each month. I didn't know this because I was never told or sent the email that states you can "skip" a month and not be charged. They refunded me, which is apparently something they don't do, and then when I called to cancel (so I won't be charged the membership fee), I spoke with a Josh and he was quite the d-bag. He kept telling me I don't' have to cancel because I was issued the refund, which is something they don't usually do and that I can use the rest of the month. I'm not making any more purchases or getting any more bogus membership charges, so I said I just want to cancel. He continued to tell me that I got the refund so there's no need to cancel. Freaking **!

So now I have to wait until November (it's 10-12-12) to cancel and I am making sure to set a reminder in my phone! Also, to cancel your account, you have to call and wait on hold for at least 10 minutes - usually more and I have a feeling they have a crew of reps waiting to talk you out to canceling. Because if the ordinary online shop should accept cancellation before shipping (because it saves their shipping fee), I tried to argue with them. However, the supervisor kept refusing to give me her last name and said they cannot cancel. All I can do is receive all the items and then call back customer service to return the items. She once said I cannot cancel my membership, to which I never agree; but I kept complaining, and she finally canceled my membership. I like their products. I ordered a pair of boots with JustFab and I do indeed like the boots. The only thing I am not happy with is when I called to cancel my membership (I didn't want to forget to skip a month and be charged 40 dollars), the man I spoke with on the phone asked me 5 times if I was sure I wanted to cancel and kept trying to get me to stay. It annoyed me. I wanted to cancel and after asking once, even twice, they should just do it!

I ordered some shoes from JustFab, and I actually liked the shoes and was aware of the monthly membership "fee." After thinking about it, I decided to cancel the membership which happened on September 20, 2012. I did read these complaints, so I made sure that I printed the screenshot of the notice that said my membership was cancelled. Guess what happened today? Yep, they charged $39.95! They would not refund money - only gave me a store credit. So, I am disputing with my bank and ordered a new card so no more "issues" will happen.

I never knew my husband’s credit card got charged $39.95 for the last couple of months. He thought it was something I buy on a regular basis and didn't question it. I bought a pair of shoes for 1/2 off $19.95 and even made sure I'm not obligated to be a VIP member. I put down his credit card and even told the customer rep I don't want to be a VIP member even when I returned it. They have been charging his credit card, and I never knew since I never received anything. Stay away from them. Once they have your credit card on file, they will charge it every month and then tell you that you didn't read the Terms and Conditions when you asked them to give you a refund. On top of that, they will have you wait at least 30 minutes on the phone so you will get tired and hang up.

I have had my JustFab account for over a year now. Every month, I receive an email stating that I have till the 5th of the month to "skip this month." Last month, I never got an email and the same with this month. Since I called last month to get a refund of the $39.95 to my personal account, and I had one over 9 months ago, they won't ever give me another refund. I have asked numerous times to have my account cancelled and they kept telling me to think about it and then call back. I will never do business with them again. I will never recommend them to anyone. All of the "customer service" people are extremely rude and talk to you like you are a child, calling me honey and sweetie. The shoe quality is not good either, shoes fell apart after wearing them 2 times. Don't waste your time dealing with this company.

I ordered a pair of high heels from here. I wasn't expecting that much, but seriously the shoes were an embarrassment. They were basically a platform with a thin patent leather cover over them that was oddly shaped. I just threw them out because they were so ugly and poorly made. So then they charged me the $39.95 membership fee. I tried to cancel and was on hold for 20 minutes because they make you call to cancel, even though you set everything up online. This is just a way for them to take more of your money because they think you will get annoyed and just hang up. So, of course, I tried to do it online through the live chat, but you can't do it anyway aside from over the phone for "verification" purposes. Ridiculous! This company is pathetic - terrible quality shoes and terrible customer service.

Okay, so at first the customer service was great but then I got charged the "monthly fee." I was under the impression that you just pay for the things you bought and the membership was free (otherwise, why would I pay $40 for the membership fee + another $40 for a pair of shoes when I can get them cheaper somewhere else)? I called in and they finally refunded me for the monthly charge. As I was trying to tell the customer service rep that I don't want it anymore because I didn't know that there was a monthly fee involved, she kept on trying to convince me to keep it and give it a try. I kept on trying to tell her no and she kept on insisting to think about it until the end of the month. I finally was just like whatever, I just don't want to get charged for it and I kept on telling her that.

Then on the 6th of October, a month later, I saw a charge on my account for $39.95. I called back to get a refund because I told her that I didn't want it and they still continued to charge it! We were on the phone for a good 30 minutes arguing with them about giving a refund and closing the account. They kept on saying you can use the "points" from the amount charged towards something (which would mean I would have to buy more stuff in order to use it). They wouldn't do a refund and only give credit even when we finally got a hold of the manager. They made it so difficult and I'm extremely annoyed and disappointed that they couldn't make any kind of exception. And I never got an email saying that they were going to charge me every month. I was under the impression that to skip a month was just to skip your selection, not to skip a fee. I'm never using them again!

That will be 81 dissatisfied customers. I came to JustFab to look around but in order to do even that, you needed to sign up to view anything. In my opinion, their shoes were very average and looked like you could find these shoes pretty much at any store around that carries current fashion trends. I was not impressed. Out of their entire collection of shoes, I ended up liking one pair of boots. This is where I got mad. I ordered one pair of shoes without agreeing to any other terms than the ones that were obvious and stated right in front of me. Upon receiving my order, I was notified by some little attached note inside my shipment that I now have some obligation/unacknowledged agreement to "declare" to JustFab by the fifth of each month, whether I will or will not be purchasing shoes from them. In failing to do so, I would incur a fee of $39.99.

I did not sign up for this! I canceled my account the same day I got my shoes which was on September 17th. Today, October 6th, 2012, I have a pending transaction in my bank account from JustFab. It is to be processed on the 9th for $39.99. How does that even make sense? Why the 9th? It is not even the 5th (if this were some regular billing cycle). On top of that, calling the customer service line is a joke and no one seems to be around to answer any of their "high volume calls." The sad thing is the shoes really are a quite decent quality but I can see through all these complaints that I am just another tired and worn out patron of scams and "screw me over" schemes. How disappointing. Don't you companies ever think that if you made people happy, that's what typically keeps them coming back? Hence, more money for you. Never again!

I've been a member roughly around two years or since JustFab was just beginning and let me start by telling you how much I love JustFab because their shoes, clothes, bags, and jailer are amazing! I always get compliments on everything that I wear. All their products are show stoppers. The quality of their products is amazing! They're not cheap at all! They have outlasted some high-priced shoes. The quality of the purses can last and carry so much. It's been 2 years and no heels, straps, or anything have broken or ripped.

The product presentation really makes me want to buy everything. I love how they have the video of the model wearing the shoes. I like how they have the product detail, and what's even better is that they give style suggestion and piece together some outfits. The boutiques are cool but I always look forward to my friends' boutiques every month. I really enjoy seeing what is chosen for my friends. Also, JustFab has 24/7 customer service through the phone.

My only complaint is that I wish the Elite line could stay open a little longer but other than that, CS is very helpful and pleasant. I also love the fact that you can live chat because sometimes I'm unable to call CS, so I just live chat which is as easy as 1,2,3! I have never enjoyed purchasing from a company like I do with this! I love the fact that they really listen to their customers. Any complaint that I've seen has been fixed. They really pay attention to the feedback especially on FB.

I always wonder if anyone ever sleeps at that company. Lol, now that's customer care. There's really nothing bad to say about this company. I mean free shipping and returns. It's always an even $39.95 unless they have a promotion of which they have plenty of those which are my favorite. I love JustFab sales and contests! My fiance was lucky enough to win a JustFab contest which included a year's supply of shoes.

I love the bogo sales, the buy one get one free, the Iron Fist sales! I love that I get points for buying stuff which always equal up to a free shoe! Free shoes! It doesn't get better than that. I love how connected JustFab is with their customers especially in Facebook and Twitter. I always have JustFab retweet and talk to me on Twitter and Facebook which I'm not going to lie. It makes me feel special. JustFab is always active letting us know about future products, sneak peaks, and voting on products. I love JustFab overall because they care! They are customer service! They know how to keep customers happy and that is why I purchase from them at least 3-4 times a month.

One saleslady accused me of trying to keep the boots and get my money back. I laughed. Finally, one month after returning my boots, I got a store credit. I went to order a new pair of shoes and accidentally ordered the same pair twice and no credit. I was told that 20 minutes later, it was too late to cancel my one order, so I will be sent both and I will have to return a pair. My credit, I was told, was taken away because I didn't pay the $9 shipping fee to send back. I told her that was a lie because my credit card was charged $9. After arguing with the saleslady for 2 minutes about this, I got "Oh sorry, I see where we charged you for the shipping." I have been told that the credit has been reapplied to my account but so far, it has not shown up.

I was one of those people who were lured in by their "great" deals and failed to read the fine print correctly. After 2 unintended charges to a debit card, I realized the problem. I read their return policy from top to bottom about 5 times. I made sure that I would be able to return the shoes for monetary value and not membership credit. So, I went ahead and ordered the two shoes with my credit. I called them twice to request an RMA number for return. However, during both calls, the wait time was ridiculously long. I went online to their chat service instead. She told me that my shoes could only be returned for an exchange or membership credit. She said that my credits lose money value, even though I paid for it. I asked her to direct me to the web page where it explained this rule. She failed to do so and repeated my 2 options for return. Nowhere did it say that my credits lose cash value and were deemed ineligible for a money return. I didn't want to blow up on her and disconnected on her after I told her I will just simply cancel my membership from them. I'm very dissatisfied with their policies. I'm never purchasing from them again.

I'm from Canada so I did expect the order to take a bit longer, so I made sure I ordered these shoes well in advance before I needed them. My first initial complaint is the shipping said it would take 5-10 days but it really took 3 weeks, which is minimal compared to what happened when I actually got my order. When I received my order this Monday, I only received 2 out of the 3, the booties and boots. The pumps I needed for this upcoming Saturday never came. So, I instantly called JustFab. I explained to the woman on the phone my situation but she could not give me any explanation to why my shoes were not shipped. I requested them to express ship my shoes so I can have them for the event on Saturday but they responded with, "We do not express ship to Canada," which is ridiculous because it was their fault I did not have my shoes. Long story short, I cancelled my account with them and will never shop there again. I'll find cute shoes somewhere else, where they are more reliable and take responsibility for their actions.

I was smart enough to research this company before buying from them and figured out that they are a scam! In their fine print it states that by purchasing from them and becoming a free member, you agree to having your credit card charged $39.95 every month unless you enter their website and click "not purchasing anything this month." So, I went and got a Visa gift card to purchase the boots I wanted to avoid ever being charged again. I had also read that their customer service was terrible, but wow I really had no idea how bad until I called for myself. I called with the simple request of tracking my order and was met with a girl who sounded like she was still in high school and was told by her boss that she could treat customers however she pleased.

I gave her my address and name as she requested and she asked me for the name I put on the account, since it was not the name for the billing info. I told her I didn't know as I had just put a fake name on the "free signup" knowing that I would never be using it again. Her attitude went from 0 to 10 faster than I could blink! The rest of the conversation consisted of her repeating the words "ma'am" and "sweetie" at the top of her lungs every time I tried to speak or explain anything. I simply wanted to ask her how I could help in retrieving the information she needed as she continued to yell at me that she could not help me unless I gave her this info. Seriously?!

After about 5 minutes of being berated and called sweetie (very professional), I finally broke and yelled back asking her how the hell her company considered this customer service and requested to be transferred. She talked over me the entire time I said any of this, by the way. She finally calmed down once the only response she was getting from me was to be transferred and I finally got the simple info I had requested. I can't believe I had to be berated by a company that I had already paid and I just needed some simple info. Never, ever again! I suggest you don't waste your time people. Just pay retail or find a new site. It's not worth it!

I had been getting emails from JustFab for several months so I decided to check them out. The shoes are super cute and very inexpensive (which is why people are drawn in). I signed up and purchased a pair of boots. I am not stupid - I read the terms and conditions which mention you are a part of a membership that will charge you $39.99/mo. unless you sign in and click "skip this month" which means you do not wish to purchase anything from the site that month. Nowhere in the terms and conditions did it mention the length of time you had to remain a member.

So, I called up immediately after I made the purchase and said I want to cancel my membership because I did not want to have to sign in every month just to say I don't want to buy another pair of shoes - frankly, it's not worth my time. The customer service rep argued with me saying that I was "cheating the system" by cancelling my membership after only buying one pair of shoes. Honestly, JustFab are the ones "cheating the system" by making you sign up for a membership in the first place just to buy shoes! It's not a store credit card - no account/membership should be required. If you want to buy a pair of shoes, you should be able to without having to agree to a membership. That's how they are able to sell their shoes so cheap since most people don't read "terms and conditions." They are unaware that their account will be charged each month if they don't click "skip". It's another one of those "fine print" cheating companies.

The rep told me if I was going to cancel my account, she was going to cancel my purchase! Are you ** kidding me?! I said, "Go ahead and cancel my purchase that I already paid for and I will just make sure that I inform any potential customers how rude and unprofessional, not to mention sleazy and crooked JustFab practice is. Social media, different rating sites, and blogs, you can count on me for spreading the word on how you treat your customers. Sure the rep was cheesy, nice at first - until I stood my ground on cancelling my membership - then she turned into a cutthroat **. Don't, I repeat, don't buy from this site!

First of all, obviously the following happened to me for not reading the fine print which I'm used to do, but never thought I'd have to do such thing just to buy a pair of shoes. Stupid me! I purchased a pair of shoes from this site thinking it was a very good deal for your money and they looked so cute on the website's picture, blah, blah. Well, I got the product and I hated it so I returned it, but I was more pushed by the person who took my call to take a different item. Of course, so I did. I got the next item and was even worse. Cheap, cheap, cheap quality! I kept the stupid item, which I donated to a Goodwill store, just because I did not want to stress myself out arguing over the phone with this company.

Oh well, I just lost 40 bucks. I just won't buy anything else from them. End of story. But then what happened?! Oh! My bank statement shows that I have been charged for in-store credit from JustCrap! What?! So, I called to see well, why the charge?! And that's when I found out that I got enrolled in some sort of membership when I did my first failure purchase from them! It was a fight between me saying, "Cancel that stupid membership!" and a stupid girl on the other side of the line telling me all my options. How can a so-called respected business woman like Kimora blah blah put her hands in people's bank accounts and get it for in-store credit?! How dare you woman!

Businesses should stop hiding their actions with fine prints! Instead, they should have a big warning label popping up on your screen before you head to the checkout! That would be a good way to apply correct business ethics and responsibility! This company is being totally unethical! Dishonest, a scam, a total ripoff! Businesses like this one make other businesses pay a high price for what they do, and it isn't fair! Would I be willing to buy anything from the internet? Maybe. Will I do it as often as I did before? Probably not. Just because I won't be willing to take my time onto reading fine prints every time before I make a purchase online. Will I be more careful next time? Absolutely! Don't you hate feeling that you have to read fine prints before you buy a pair of sandals on the internet?

I clicked the Live Chat and no matter what I entered, the response from Jenny was a canned response with some sort of marketing pitch. I will not be buying from here - that's for sure. It is not a live chat and I don't like being deceived.

I joined JustFab today, hoping to purchase two bags. I was thrilled to see that I could get so many discounts. I actually did read the VIP rules on the side and was aware that I would be charged $39 each month. And I just thought I can cancel next month. But when I got to checkout, the system didn't allow my address because I wasn't confirmed? I was frustrated because I was so excited to get those cute bags! So, I decided to google if anyone else have this problem. To my surprise, I found this long page of complaints! Thank you to everyone's feedback. I just dodged a bullet there. Beware guys! Untrustworthy company! I am still a bit paranoid because although the order didn't go through, I did type my card info. I never submitted but still when I checked my profile, I saw my card info. I cancelled my account. Be careful guys.

Do not buy from JustFab.com. This company is a scam. I saw their advertisement from my email and was tempted to buy the shoes. Only after I made my purchase, I was being told by friends to be careful of this company because they have heard about this company. So after I received my shoes, I immediately cancelled my membership. Yet, they kept on trying to persuade me to keep the membership and they can waive a month for me. I was tempted at first, but later, I decided to call them back and I cancelled my monthly membership.

Later, I realized that they skipped one month and charged me two more months knowing that I will likely not be looking at my statements. I contacted them to request for refund of my monthly charges and they kept on saying that they are unable to do so because they don't have a record to prove that I did in fact contact them to make that cancellation. This company is definitely a scam! They should be brought up to the Better Business Bureau. Someone needs to sue them! They need to be shut down. For those who work for them, you must have no moral instinct. Do not buy from this company! They're scamming people!

My wife purchased a pair of shoes on this website because of a 50% rebate. Then three weeks after, she realized that she hadn't actually bought a pair of shoes but subscribed to a contract that costs her $40 per month. I notice that the only positive review on this page about JustFab says it's important to read the contracts you engage yourself in. I can't disagree with this statement. However, I think that this website is carefully crafted to make you think you're buying one item when you're actually committing to a monthly subscription. And even after that, it is very complicated to cancel the membership. This is a very dishonest way to do business.

This site is a total scam. I purchased a pair of boots from them, and then I noticed that they were charging my credit card $39.95 a month every month after this purchase! I did notice a letter with my initial purchase that there was some VIP membership that if you could join that, you had to call and I think pay a $5 extra charge and they would automatically send you your feature shoe every month. I did not check this option, call them and ask for this or pay for it but they still went ahead and charged my credit card every month.

When I tried to cancel my membership online which I did not even know I had, it wouldn't let me! When I tried to call them, no one answered! Finally, I called my credit card company, reported their fraudulent activity, disputed the charges and cancelled my credit card. It was the only way to get them to stop! I cannot believe this company can do this to people, and that they are still in business. To be honest, the shoes are cheap quality and not even worth the $39.95. Does Kimora Simmons not make enough money already that she has to now scam people of their hard earned money?! You should be ashamed of yourself!

I bought a pair of boots the other day half the price off. It came to a total of $19.95. After I had purchased the boots, I went to look at a different pair. I added a different pair to my cart to see if I could get another for 50% off. It did not come up 50% off when I went to checkout. I did not want to buy this boot but was charged $39.95 anyway. I didn't even fill out my debit card info; they had it on file from the first purchased and charged me for the one I did not want. This is crap. When you go to other sites, you have to put your info in or check the box that has your debit info. I did none of this. Thankfully, I got that order cancelled. I also had no idea about the $39.95 charge every month. This wasn't very clear when you check out; in fact, they do not state it anywhere except terms and conditions. This is very misleading.

I cancelled my account. So hopefully, it’s cancelled for good since I have heard complaints from others who thought theirs was cancelled and it was indeed not. I called customer service and they bombard you with offers trying to get you to not cancel your account. This is really bad customer service. Asking me once about offers… fine, ok, but 5 times? I don't want your membership. I don't even like shoes very much; just was buying a one-time gift. Why would I want to stay a member with you if I will not buy anything else from you guys? I'm returning the boots I bought because they have such horrible customer service, and I will not encourage this company at all.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes. Upon reading reviews (which were not so positive, but hey, people will say what they will and there will always be some negative comments), I decided to take my chances. My heels were way too small. I printed out a return shipping label. Well apparently, they expire 5 days after you print them. Where does it say that anywhere on the site or on the site where you print your label? They started charging we $39.95 a month. Did I agree to this? When and where? I simply ordered 2 pairs of shoes. They issued my refund as long as I agreed to stay with them. They said that I would be able to check my email and use a "skip" feature where I could skip paying that membership fee for the month. I agreed. Later on I changed my mind.

I called back and they said that they were unable cancel my account based on my verbal agreement that I would get my refund if I agreed to stay with them. I asked Jamie, my "fashionista" (stupid) how long I needed to stay a member for them to be able to cancel my account and that I wanted to speak with her manager. She told me to just use that option. I said no! I am a very busy mom with a really intense and demanding job with little time for myself, let alone really to shop. This should be the least of my worries, something I shouldn't have to think about. She then told me to set an alarm on my phone to remember to use the "skip" option. She then told me that I made false impressions and that I only said that to get my refund.

Wow, seriously. You're in customer service and you just said that to me? I am a very patient person and I am very understanding, but a company who cheats me out of my money and have employees that would call me a liar is completely unacceptable. I was put on hold so she could talk to her manager. She came back and told me she would cancel my membership and that I would have to pay full retail price. Fine, I'll take it. I have ordered shoes online twice in my life. I would never order from them again, so whatever.

But at that time, it would restock fee taken from the refund. Since then, I hadn't seen a shoe of my like, as you may verify that I've declined my feature selection since then. It was to my knowledge today, August 18, 2012, that the credit I had was nonrefundable which wasn't indicated to at the time of my return. I, as a JustFab customer, feel I was misled to believe one thing when the policy was something different.

I asked that my money be refunded back to me due to the misunderstanding on your customer rep part. I was none the wiser of the policy until today, August 18, 2012. I requested that my membership be canceled due to my dissatisfaction with JustFab. Upon my request, I was still told that I can't get my money refunded to me. I, as a customer, have a right to my money due to the misinformation that was given to me. I'm very upset about this matter and will be taking further action until my money is refunded back to me. The supervisor by the name of Dana, who wouldn't give me a last name but told me she was located in North Carolina, was very rude about the matter; and during our conversation, began to laugh about it which I feel was very unprofessional and a blemish to JustFab. I called Fab.com customer service to ask about the process of shipping from designer to warehouse to customer to see if I wanted to ever order from Fab.com again (come on guys, 18 days for a watch from New Jersey to California?). The customer service guy sounded like he was just ever so slightly annoyed at having to talk to yet another customer about shipping or just annoyed that he had to answer the phone in fact. He didn't ask me for my order number to take a look for me or anything. All he would say was it was the designer's fault.

So Fab.com makes money from these orders yet assumes 0% responsibility? Excuse me? One less customer for Fab.com, which is definitely not fabulous. I hope that the watch arrives in good condition so I don't ever have to deal with Fab.com again. I doubt that they care about my business. Poor shipping time and poor customer service.

I was so excited to become a member of JustFab. I bought two pairs of flats that I thought were super cute. When I received the flats, one of them had little black dots all over it and looked worn. Also, the quality was horrible! The shoes were so uncomfortable! I could have bought better ones at Ross or Payless for less money. I went to return the shoes and found that I have to chat with someone. They do not send a return label like every other online company I have purchased from.

I called and was on hold for over 25 minutes so I decided to chat with someone online. She made it seem easy, said she would credit my money back to my credit card and sent me a return label. I then received an email telling me I have store credit for more shoes, which I did not want. I talked to someone else who ended our chat in the middle of asking a question without asking me if I was finished or had anything else I needed help with, so I had to contact someone else. I have now talked to 6 different people to make sure I was credited, my restocking fee was waived for the damaged shoe and my account is canceled.

Overall, my whole experience was horrible. I should not have to talk to so many employees just to have the return processed correctly and my account canceled. They also kept me on the phone for over an hour and threw all sorts of offers at me to try to make me keep my account, when I told them over and over and over again all I want to do is cancel it. By the time I was done, I felt like I told him my life story just to get him to cancel my account, which by the way I had to talk to someone later because my account was not cancelled. Hopefully I won’t have to contact them a 7th time and my return will actually be right this time. Also out of 6 employees, only one was nice. I work in customer service myself, so it's not like I was rude. Not even the 6th time! So why should they be? I will never use this site again and neither will my friends!

Yes, what all of the other negative reviews say are all true. They charge you a lot of money. So in the end you're not getting a good deal. Whoever says they're getting a good deal, it most likely works for the company and doesn't understand quality. The shoes are cheap. For the amount of money you are paying for these low-end shoes, you could actually be getting brand name shoes. (If you do the math, it's actually quite simple; plus higher-end shoes won’t hurt your feet as much as these cheaply made heels/sandals/boots.). When you call to cancel, you get the run-around, up until the point where you're fed up and have to tell them rudely that you're done.

This relationship is over. I don't want to ever see your shoes again. Then they're forced to try to calm you down, and putting the blame on you because you've gotten angry and unreasonable (I'm a psychologist and I know how this stuff works). They're just trying to play the power game. The representatives over the phone do their best to hold power over you and your money. They play the "I'm just an innocent person who works here" game, then when you least expect it, they turn on you. If I wanted to deal with a whole bunch of rabid dogs that come back to bite you in the ** you know what, I would have become a veterinarian.

Finally, they told me that I could cancel but they were leaving me with the pay as you go membership. Today I checked my credit card and saw another $39.95 charge from them! I called and was told that in the call, I stated I was fine with keeping my VIP membership and I would skip the month over the phone. I told them that is not what I said at all! Again I was spoken to as a child and could not get a refund. I was assured by a supervisor that my account was cancelled and if any charges come up again, I would be fully refunded.

I checked online and of course, my account was now changed to a pay as you go membership. I unsubscribed from all emails and cancelled my account. If I have any further problems with them, it will reach the point where I'll simply hire a lawyer because there is no way to get money back from their customer service.

I tried to cancel my membership and they make you wait forever before they even get on the phone. If they truly have this many people trying to cancel, then it speaks volumes. Otherwise, they are just playing games. A half an hour is ridiculous and it took 10 minutes before the online chat person connected, and they refused to help me try to cancel. They make it incredibly difficult to cancel.

I called Just Fab to return some shoes that were, again, bigger than normal. This was my third return. The other two didn't fit right and were never used. The customer service person told me that it's in their policy that they cannot do a 3rd exchange. When I asked, "Where is this stated on your return policy or your terms of agreement for your "VIP" members?" They said it's not stated and that they are sorry for the confusion. Confusion? Withholding information is not called confusion. They said they don't inform their customers about this return policy because they don't want to make it a habit for customers to constantly return merchandize.

Well, do you think your customers like wasting time constantly ordering and going to the post office to return your ill-fitting shoes? I would not risk doing business with this company. The shoes look good online, but you'll never know how it's going to fit you (most of them don't fit right) and with their unstated company policy, you won't get the chance to exchange until you find one that fits you correctly.

I had heard about JustFab.com via the television commercials. I was intrigued and decided to go online and check it out. I did read the terms and conditions, but I made the mistake of not checking the reviews until after I had already placed my order. So when I read others saying they had billing issues, I checked my credit card transactions. I was concerned because the total that I was supposed to be charged was different from what was charged to my card. I thought that I would just call and it would be resolved easily. This was not a huge $100 discrepancy or something, but I still have the right to know why. After a while, I just gave up. Horrible customer service.

So I had no idea that they charge you $39.95 a month because I was a member for a few months prior to buying a pair of shoes without getting billed. When I did purchase that first pair of shoes, that's when, I guess, you "agree" to the terms and conditions and start paying. I admit I rarely actually read those long small print terms and conditions. When I would get monthly emails from them, I didn't pay attention because the subject is "Check out new styles" or something along those lines. If it said something about billing or charges, I might have paid attention. When I realized I was charged for the last few months I thought, no big deal, I'll just call them and get my money back, they'll understand. That was not the case at all.

I've never talked to such rude people in my life. On my first call, the girl said she could not give any money back and I should have read it more carefully. I asked to speak to the supervisor. First, she said she was a supervisor, then decided maybe she wasn't and gave me to someone else. Who does that? Then, the supervisor said, "Sorry, no refunds." I've never heard of a company saying something like this? I didn't even get any products. So, I was a little angry which I think is understandable. I called him an ** (okay, maybe a little over the line, but I was so mad). He agreed to give me a refund for 1 month and I had to use the rest of the credits in shoes (I don't want 4 pairs of your ** shoes!).

I finally agreed anyway. Then I don't see any refund. I called back and talked to someone else the next day. She was telling me she can see that I used "profanity" on my last phone call and he decided not to give me the refund of $39.95. Really? Is this high school, because I was mean, he changed his mind and decided I wasn't getting a refund without telling me? I asked to speak to another supervisor and she stated, "There is no supervisor to talk to." Again, I'm getting angry, but I decide to stay calm because it didn't get me too far last time. I just ended the call saying goodbye and called to hopefully get another person that would let me talk to a supervisor.

Finally, they let me talk to someone and I got my refund of $39.95 and I picked out 4 pairs of shoes. I said, "Now, please end my membership; I never want to give business to this company again." The representative on the phone said, "Oh, why miss would you want to do that? You know you can skip the month and not get billed." Really? I went through all this and they try to get me to stay? I said, "no," and again, she said, "oh, please consider staying with us; I'll give you more points so you can buy a pair of shoes." They were begging me to stay for 5 minutes. I couldn't believe it. I was practically in tears because of the process I had to go through just to get a representative that would actually listen to me and not pretend she was a supervisor or tell me there wasn't one.

I am changing my credit card # because I don't trust that they will stop billing me! The customer service is a bunch of teenagers that don't want to give your money back. This is a horrible business. I've never been more displeased with a company before.

I wear a size 10 shoe so naturally that was the size that I ordered (on 7/2/12). Once the shoes arrived, I found that they were a whole size too small even though the imprint suggested a size 10. I had to return the shoes and order a size 11 (exchanged on 7/7/12). Those shoes were a little too tight also but I kept them anyway. I called to cancel my membership because I am not the type of person to log onto a website once a month just to skip a month and spoke to a representative named Gabby. I told her I wanted to cancel my membership and she went through her whole script of trying to keep me but I kept telling her that I would just prefer to order when I am ready. She had a nasty disposition every time I said that. Nonetheless, after about 6 minutes on the call she finally canceled my membership and just hung up (membership cancelled on 7/20/2012). No "thank you for calling," "have a nice day," or anything! As a matter of fact, I was saying to her "thank you and have a nice day" when I found out that she had hung up on me. I hope the phone call was recorded because this customer service rep was not very nice.

I would not recommend JustFab to anyone only because the customer service that I received from Gabby was not up to par and the fact that they will charge your credit card every month if you don't skip a month. When I opened my account, there were the options of either being a VIP member or pay as you go customer; I didn't choose either. I just pressed continue and continued on with my shopping. I guess the site chose for me. Initially I wasn't mad about this, seeing that I buy shoes often enough (not from this site), but after having to call and being placed on hold for up to 25 minutes at a time (called 3 times) and having to ship the shoes back and once I got them back, they still didn't have that "perfect" fit (although they do look nice)... It is just a hassle and a headache so I would much rather buy my shoes as I go.

The terms very clearly state that unless you check in each month before the 5th to skip the month, you will be charged $39.95 for being a VIP member. I have had an excellent, wonderful experience with this website. I read all the conditions and knew exactly what I was signing up for when I bought my first pair of heels. It takes 30 seconds to sign in once a month and skip that month if I don't have the money or don't like the choices. (Most people spend much more time than that on Facebook each day, so you do have the time; it's not inconvenient). Overall, it's a wonderful website. I highly recommend them for buying heels. Make sure you read contracts that you agree to!

Literally, one week later, I call back to say that I never heard from anyone. After finally getting a supervisor on the phone (a 22-minute wait), I was told that in the recording of my previous conversation, I was told I would be charged again unless I opted out.

Why would I agree to this? Of course, when I asked to hear the recording or have a copy of it, it can't be released. This is such a scam, I don't know how these people sleep at night. I asked their supervisor, "Do you know what kinds of reviews you have online about your company? Do you, guys, feel good about taking your customer's money this way? There is no way you can believe in your company's business model." His response? Total silence. Enough said.

Yes, I fell for what everyone else on here is complaining about. I did not really think they would continue to charge $40 to my name for the next five months. But unlike most people, I did not freak out and call them screaming. I called and patiently talked with a man named Phillip and told him my situation. He responded kindly to my politeness and refunded three out of the five charges put to my card. When according to some people, they could be refunded none. I luckily got most of my money back. It is ** that they "cannot refund your money". They can if they want to. I then purchased a bag and a pair of shoes with my store credit. I realized though that I still needed to cancel my credit card info with them. So, I went online to try and cancel and it said I needed to call in again and speak with someone to cancel (unheard of).

So I called in and this very talkative gal answered. She asked me why I was calling in again since I agreed to stay with their company earlier that morning, which was honestly, really, really creepy. They must keep track of when you call in to get your money back so that you can't try more than one time. I spoke with her and told her I simply couldn't afford the shoes every month. She insisted I just "check once a month to skip and I won't be charged". I said, "I'm a busy woman and the only thing I have time to remember once a month is my menstrual cycle." She then told me she would remove my VIP membership and ensure that I would no longer need to skip months or worry about being charged. I was delighted. Let's hope this doesn't happen again.

This company sucks. They have good products, and they ship fast; but they do this thing, where after you make your first purchase, you are automatically put into their "VIP" customer. This means that you are going to be charged automatically $39.95 each month, unless you skip the month or make the purchase. What company in their right mind does that?

I missed two months and checked my credit card statements to find out that they had charged me twice for $39.95. I was so irate that I called customer service immediately. It is unfair to automatically be charged, because I was not aware of this to begin with. They did not send me an email confirmation or anything to show that they had billed my account. Instead, they only continued to charge me.

After speaking with a representative, I was only able to get a merchandise credit refund for one pair of shoes or handbag. Because I live in Hawaii, even though I got credit to buy one more pair of shoes, I still had to pay $9 in shipping. The company wasn't even willing to pay for that. This leaves me so angry and dissatisfied. I would have liked all of my money back. I would not recommend this company, and I will definitely tell everyone I know about this. Because of the unknown charges, I have overdrawn on my bank account this month; and I am extremely frustrated that I now need to buy a pair of shoes, even though I don't need any more. Membership canceled.

I called the company in May and told them I would like to cancel my service with them. The gentleman informed me that I can skip a month and not be billed or charged. He had me under the impression that since I called to cancel, I had nothing to worry about because I was skipping a month just in case I see something I like in the future. Then, he went into this drawn-out story about him always skipping a month on the shoes he purchased for his mother. At the end of our conversation, I said, “Well, let’s be clear. I will not be charged, so we were clear on that?” Then, I received a payment in my PayPal account from a customer; when I went to withdraw the money it said, “Declined.” What?! After viewing my bill, I see that JustFab had taken a payment out.

I called them and kindly asked them what was going on. She explained to me that the rep I spoke to talked me into staying. I said no, what he said was, “I’m sorry you’re not happy. So I will let you in skipping months for you; that way the stylist will continue to send you your showroom.” I replied that I don't want to be charged. I went on to tell the rep I would like a refund because he misinformed me. I don't like the damn product your company is selling. She said, “Ms. **, I understand you are upset, but if you continue to use that language, I will end our call. So, would you like to use your credit in your account?” I replied, “No, I don’t want credit with your company. Let me speak with a supervisor.” She said, “We don't have a supervisor here. JustFab.com (also a sister company to shoebuy.com) is one of the many cyber scams that have arisen since the drastic fall of the economy some-odd years ago. They have preyed on and continue to prey on everyday working people who (unfortunately) don't take time to read and research before placing an order. I personally haven't ordered anything from this company nor do I ever plan on it but I have friends and co-workers who've constantly complained about paying monthly for cheap crappy merchandise that is due to them (they either had to call and argue over or ended up being charged hundreds of dollars) and never received.

Beware of monthly "subscriptions" masqueraded as "exclusive" or "VIP memberships". Please, people, you work hard for your money. Credit companies and banks don't lend to just anyone nowadays. If you're lucky enough to have an income and credit, protect it at every cost. Read before purchasing anything you've seen on TV or the internet. It's not a deal if you don't get what you're paying for.

I made an attempt to close my account through the emails I was receiving on a daily basis; however, when you click the "Unsubscribe" button, nothing happened so I just stopped the emails. To my surprise, I continued to get emails almost daily. I then asked for my account to be closed through the live chat, and was assured the account was closed. I continued to get emails. I called the 1-800 number, and was again told that my account was closed, but that if I continued to get emails, I could just "mark them as spam". I still continued to get emails, which made me extremely angry. I again went through the chat line and was again informed by "Krystal" the account was closed and my email was removed from the system today. I will not be surprised if I continue to get them.

For a customer that has never purchased anything and never provided any type of shipping/credit info, this company has still been a nightmare. I feel like I am being harassed by their emails and inability to actually remove my information. I cannot imagine the frustration of actually purchasing something.

Even though the print for VIP info on their website says, "Every JustFab style is only $39.95. No obligation to buy. Skip any month and cancel any time." After you buy your first pair of shoes, you get charged $40 a month whether you get the product or not. As my email was going to spam and I online bank without seeing every $40 charge, I found out they have charged me almost $400 for products I never wanted, never bought, never received, etc. They say it is in the fine print when you buy your first pair of shoes, but they are extremely misleading to the point of fraud in my opinion with the visible text on their website. When I joined it was different. They just changed it but it is still not clear that you'll be charged if you don't answer within 5 days of receiving the email to skip the month. The first customer service agent was awful, unprofessional and bitchy.

Who thinks someone wants to pay 40 bucks a month for services they never buy? Insane. Do not buy from this company. For the 78% who hates this company, lodge a complaint with the BBB at their site, and send your complaints to Just Fabulous, 2301 Rosecrans Avenue Suite 4100, El Segundo, CA 90245, contact: Evan **. It is the principle. They know what they are doing and can be clearer about it when you make that first purchase. They aren't, so they can make money on cheap wares. It is so sad there are companies out there like this.

I made a one-time purchase of a pair of jeans for $39.95. I was told that I was getting a 50% discount since it was my first purchase which amounted to $19.95. The jeans arrived and the quality was atrocious. I have never worn them to this day. I didn't bother to return since it was only $20. This was in July 2011. Imagine my surprise when I discovered in April 2012 that JustFab has been charging my account $39.95 for the past nine months without my knowledge. I am an active duty soldier and I do all of my shopping and banking online. I pay my full credit card balance every month but I haven't been reviewing my statements because I am getting ready to deploy and that has not been a priority. JustFab does not want the bad press they are about to receive for stealing from an Iraqi war veteran and soon to be Afghanistan war veteran.

I signed up on the JustFab.com website at 5:00 in the morning. A coupon flag appeared on the screen stating "Receive 50% off today only". I logged off so I could decide between two pairs of heels and since the coupon said "today only", I figured it would be valid at 7pm being as that was the same day! I logged back in to purchase the pair of heels and the site said I only would be receiving 20% off. I tried to contact customer service but they were closed at that time so I sent an email regarding my issue and I received an email back the next day stating that the coupons are time sensitive and that nothing could be done to reinstate the 50% off coupon. I told the rep that that was false advertisement and that I would definitely be letting everyone know not to shop on JustFab.com. It's not that huge of an issue but it's the principle.

Cancelling is hell - Unlike so many reviews here, I can say I read the TOS upon making my first purchase with JustFab. I made the purchase because (they claimed) portions of the proceeds were going to help Japan after the earthquake, and I thought the shoes were cute. Quality? Not bad. I could get similar from PayLess for around the same price.

Initially during my membership, I got email reminders to select a pair of shoes or skip the month before the 5th. Then those stopped, and typically I remembered on my own (except for once). Shoe selections that month were ugly, so I bought a purse. Quality? Probably much better than I could get elsewhere for the amount I paid. Now I find myself in the middle of a move. I have no idea how long I'll be without Internet service (and no smartphone) and I have no time to devote to remembering petty things like opting out of a selection each month.

Since all I've been doing is "skip" ping, I figured it was about time to cancel. Hey, Justfab? Why do you have a place on the website where you click an option to cancel and then tell us we have to call? That's bogus! Give your customers a little more respect, and maybe they'll come back to you at a later date! So I called. I expected the hard sell I received, and decided to see if they might let me skip a few months without my having to visit the website or make a call in the interim. The rep said they could, and that I would receive an email confirmation, and 100 free credits for staying.

Next day, I checked my account. No email except a survey about their customer service, and no 100 credits. In fact, the 110 credits I previously had, had been changed to 1! This is how they retain customers? I called again to cancel, this time unswayed. I understand the hard sell, really, I do. Times are tough, the economy is bad, and they need to keep customers, come what may--especially ones who have (like me) forgotten to skip a month. But really, when someone is on the verge of becoming unhinged, and all she wants is to cancel, don't waste her time.

Be warned: cancelling is hell with this company. Be prepared for a fight. Also, I dislike that I cannot delete my credit card information. Even after my account is cancelled. I can sign in, and there it is! What does it take to clear this information? I guess I will have to get a new card from my bank!

I talked with their customer service representative and she said that they will not return me that money and I have to choose 5 pair of shoes or something with those 5 credits. I choose 2 items, but I was so disappointed because I did not want to I just want my money back. Then I file a complaint with the BBB. After that, I received a message from JustFab that they will refund the amount of my credits in my credit card account.

I was very pleased until I went to their page again to talk with a representative again. I notice that I could not enter to the account with my usual password. After a requested password to my email, it says that the password was changed to “JUSTFAB.” I would never use that kind of password. So I went again to the web page, used that password and there was my account with all my information. But guess what? It says that now I have 2 credits remaining, not the original 3. I had 5 credits and I was forced to use them, but I only use 2 of the 5. I'm doubting that this people will refund me as they said in the email. They are playing so dirty. To all of you that have a complaint with this company, go to the BBB’s site and file a complaint.

This company scammed me into paying $40 a month for junk. I say junk because every single thing I have purchased has been absolutely 100% worthless, broken, cheap and/or completely unwearable. On top of that, when you email them, they will not respond, ever. I have sent them ten emails--not one response, regardless of what it was concerning.

I receive "selections" every month and every single one, except maybe one of the most hideous items, is out of stock--every single time. The quality of everything these people sell is absolutely shameful. And I have bought from every department: jewelry (came in two pieces and missing parts so the person packing it had to have known it was broken and sent it anyway), jeans (which were absolutely atrocious and had really odd measurements I have never seen before and never want to see again), bags (cheap-looking, seams coming out upon arrival, "playing dress-up" feel), shoes (clunky, made out of the cheapest material I have ever seen, way too high to wear anywhere but a gentlemen's club, and again, seams falling out) and sunglasses (worst quality, yet so flimsy and plastic).

And to Jennifer who said that the reviews on JustFab's website don't match the ones here: obviously, they aren't going to post the worst reviews on their site. They are a scam; they will do whatever they need to do in order to make themselves look good. And this is not the only site containing dozens of customer complaints about JustFab. I have found literally about 25 sites that also feature nearly all horrible reviews. Do some research and you'll see that signing up with this company is literally flushing your hard-earned money down the toilet.

I did not know that until I get charged twice in my credit card. I called and asked to cancel, but they work their sales magic and keep me there and tell me I just need to remember to click "skip" button (but did not tell me I have to do it from 1st to 5th each month) so silly me decided to try again. The boots/purse were low quality but for the price, I kept them even though I wanted to return (by the way, they have an $8 restocking fee per item if you return) them. Without my knowledge, from this first purchase, I was being charged $39.99 for a monthly VIP fee. I never agreed to this nor do I ever want to purchase anything from this company again.

When I called JustFab today, 2-16-12, at 5:18 p.m. PT, they were not able to refund my money but instead gave me a store credit. I stated I didn't want a store credit because I do not want to purchase anything. I just want my money back. According to the CSR, there wasn't anything they can do besides a store credit. The CSR claims that they will cancel my membership today without any refunds. To cover my tracks, I contacted my credit card company just to make sure they are aware of this activity and to place a block on this company and any potential future charges.

After receiving several introduction emails about the site, I decided to check it out. There was nothing in the sign-up process that explained that this was a paid membership with an obligation to buy every month after the first purchase. The way it works is they falsely advertised an introductory rate for the first pair of $19.99 to entice people to buy the first pair but they actually charged my card $39.99 instead.

Then the VIP membership kicks in right after the first purchase, which the sign-up process explains, will start a series of emails offering styles that match your preferences. It also says that you can opt to buy a pair per month. There is no mention that the first purchase is the beginning of an uninterrupted monthly charges of $39.99 and that one has to decline by the 5th of every month in order to not be charged the monthly fee.

There is no way their "membership" model passes the new consumer credit laws. A merchant can't charge ones credit card unless there is an express authorization so their monthly charges are fraudulent. I reported the 3 charges that posted to my credit card as fraud to my credit institution. A total of $120 for one cheaply made pair of boots I got is too much. That pair turned out to be an expensive pair after all.

I purchased 1 pair of boots that once I got them, they were hideous. At first I thought oh well, they were only 19.95. This was at the end of October. Then I was checking out my bank statement in December, and saw this company had been charging me $40 a month since I bought the boots. Disgusting. I went back online to sign up under different information to find out how clear this really was, the fact that they charge each month automatically, and it was not clear at all. Evidently, this was in the small print terms and conditions which is not even on the same page that you authorize payment. I immediately called them, only to be on hold for 30 minutes, then once someone picked up the line, I was instantly hung up on. I called right back, even more upset. Was on hold for another 20 minutes, explained my frustrations, and I was told that they would not give me a refund.

When I tried to close the account, I was told that if I close my account I would lose my credit. I looked at the credit on the account, saw that out of the $80 they took plus the $20 I spent on the boots, the only "credit" I earned was 100 points. For 100 points, all that got me was shoe insoles. Incredible. $100 for shoe insoles. So as I was arguing with "Larissa" if that was even her real name, she said she would not refund me both charges, only 1 and also could not and would not provide me with confirmation of the cancel. Also when I requested a supervisor, she told me I could not speak to one. Excuse me but who is the customer? Who just unknowingly paid your company owned by Kimora Simmons, $100 and I don't get the courtesy of speaking with a supervisor?

"Larissa" kept telling me it was my fault because I agreed to the monthly charge which again, was not clearly stated when I purchased the boots. She then said if I sign into my account later on it will not let me in therefore confirming the fact it has been canceled. But does this mean that they are still going to fraudulently charge my account? I am furious! This is clearly shady business practice and highly unethical. I am paying to file a complaint with the BBB and contacting the Attorney General, since they refused to refund both charges. Justfab.com and Kimora Simmons need to be shut down. This is disgusting that they have been getting away with this scam.

I will never ever again support anything that has to do with Kimora Simmons. This company has taken advantage of many many people who all they wanted to do was purchase a pair of shoes online. I have made many online purchases in the past and not one company has ever forced me unknowingly into a hidden "terms and conditions" making you a member so they can steal consumers money. Outright disgusting.

I quite reasonably thought I was just authorizing one purchase of $19.95. Evidently, this was in the small print "terms and condition" which is not even on the same page that you authorize the purchase. I was told that they would not give me a refund. When I tried to close the account, I was told that if I close my account I would lose my credit. I guess I'll use the credit then close the account.

Regardless of the contract (very long and in small print), charging someone $39.95 a month automatically, unless they go online and click a button between the 1st and 5th of the month, is a deceptive business practice if you do not make it obvious this is going to happen. It should be clearly stated on the website that this is a "shoe of the month club" and you will be charged if you forget to opt out. How about opting in to be charged instead?

I am surprised that Kimora Lee Simmons would take advantage of consumers this way especially considering so much of the public is struggling and frustrated about the way we have already been taken advantage of by the banks and the government. Clearly this is yet one more highly unethical practice. It is also a horrible way to conduct business. I have totally lost respect for Kimora Lee Simmons and will never knowingly support anything she is involved in. Justfab is just one more company ripping off the low to middle income family. Haven't we had enough? I hope this company is a failure. I'm sure it will be! Horrible!

I heard about JustFab.com website from a good friend of mine. I bought a bag from them, which I really like. To be honest, I wish I had never bought the bag! It was not worth all the trouble it has caused me. But like others, I was charged this fee of $39.95, because they decided to upgrade me and not inform me that if I upgraded and I did not skip my month of choices, I would be charged this fee.

I called JustFab because I thought that it was a mix up. Upon my call, I was on hold for 15 minutes even before I got to discuss this issue with a customer service rep. After another 20 minutes on the phone, I was able to receive a refund. The customer service rep was helpful and did apologize for all the trouble, which made me feel better. Then this month, I just got charged again. I never received my new options so again I called. Again, my wait time just to speak with someone was 10 minutes.

It’s no wonder why their wait times are so long. This website is a rip off. They are trying to steal your money! This time the customer service was this awful woman who was not helpful at all! I demanded that I be refunded my money because I never received my new options at all. She said that she would not be able to do this. I demanded to talk with a supervisor and she informed me that she was one. I told her I want to speak with someone above her! She got very rude on the phone.

I informed her that she was a customer service rep, I am the customer, and JustFab made the mistake, not I! After a while, she said that she would refund my money. To top it all off, in order to cancel your membership, you have to call and most likely wait another 10-15 minutes! My advice is not to use this website. It’s a major rip off. Their customer service sucks!

Okay, this was in the small fine print. I contacted customer service and the representative explained that they could not refund/credit my card back because I was supposed to opt out for the following month and each month after. She also made the mistake of telling me that 50% of their customers make the mistake of not opting out because the instructions are in small print. I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge.

I asked over 10 times repeatedly to "cancel my account". I got annoyed and she threatened not to cancel my account unless I "calmed down". I simply stated that I wanted to return my shoes (the website states "free shipping and free returns") and receive my refund. They said they would only refund me $14.97. I closed my account. But in order to do so, I had to make a purchase with the "credits" in my account! Needless to say, I reported them to the BBB and I have inquired with my bank. Never again will I purchase a single thing from JustFab.com. Oh, and their customer service is terrible, unethical, uncooperative, and unresponsive.

I had called them in May 2011 to cancel my account. I didn't care for any of the shoes and I didn't want the obligation of having to log on, and decline their selections. The only way to cancel the "membership" is to call. I did so. I stopped receiving emails, I had every reason to believe that the account was canceled.

This morning, Friday, October 7, 2011, I got an email that stated I have a credit to my account. I checked to see if there was a charge on my credit card. It turns out, they've been charging my credit card every month since May. They were charging my card $39.99 every month even though I canceled the account five months ago.

I called today, and was on hold for in excess of 30 minutes. They told me that they have no record of me canceling the account back in May and they refused to refund my money. I told them that I would follow up with my credit card company and dispute the charges. I also asked to cancel my account. At which I was told by the customer service person that if I canceled my account, that I would forfeit my credits (from the charges they made each month with out my permission). So I really couldn't believe that they would actually try to get me to keep my account so they could continue to charge my account while I disputed the account with my credit card company.

I told her to cancel the account and send me proof of the cancellation, which she told me they don't do - and that she said when I log out, the account will not allow me back in and thus be proof the account is closed. However -- I can still log in several hours later. After continuous arguing, I did in fact get her to send me an email saying that the account was closed.

I've been a member of this website for 5 months and I don't get why these complaints are even listed. It is very apparent that each month you have to make a choice to either make a purchase by the 5th of the month or hit the "skip this month" button, to either skip the month or make a purchase at a later time that month. Whoever doesn't read the guidelines or at least the FAQs before they give out their credit card info needs to have their head examined.

What part of "A monthly VIP membership..." and "...you will be required to choose...by the 5th of the month..." don't people understand?! In fact, I received an e-minder today, on the 4th, reminding me to take a look at the selections. I understand my part of the deal, put it in my iPhone and just expect it since it happens monthly! Come on folks, get real, read up and know what you're getting into before you give out credit card info! I love this site and am happy with the quality of shoes I have chosen so far. I mean, $40 is a great price and I expect a $40 pair of shoes and not a pair of D&G's. I look carefully at the close ups and decide from there. So far so good!

For a business like this, in my opinion, their shoe selection should be much more expansive. I signed up, thinking that I would have more styles to choose from for my ever changing "boho" type personality. Wrong! In my "personal" boutique, I get a choice of 6 different pairs. The styles are so so and it's either extremely high heels or super flat flats and nothing in between. If I were to have entered into this, paying the $39.95 a month, I would not be satisfied, and would feel (maybe even financially forced) obligated to purchase shoes I only felt mediocre about. Then, I look at the designers, and they are women working in high fashion ranks who should know better. In my opinion, there are better places with greater choices to get your shoes rather than this silly online shoe club/fad. Ladies, there is still something to be said for being able to touch your product before you purchase it. Shoes fit into that category in a highly important fashion.

I ordered two pairs of shoes that never arrived. It was my first and only order. They told us when we called that about half their packages go missing because they use a third party service through the USPS. Interesting. I called and was to receive a credit, but then I was still charged the membership fee 2 days later. You would think that, given we never received anything and no longer had any open orders, that they would credit the fee too. I called and was told that the only way the membership could be canceled is if I bought something with the $40 credit. Membership fees were non-refundable. Otherwise, it would keep recharging monthly.

They forced us to purchase something to close the membership. At this point, I had spent $80 with the company and had yet to touch a single product. I finally received credit for missing shoes, but took many calls, threats of filing complaints with BBB, etc. to finally get the membership fee credited. Horrible customer service, they literally argued with myself and my wife and it took many many calls to finally get the right manager to remedy. Even then, she was very stoic and unfriendly. They even told us to not bother to call our bank for help because the banks would side with them. Do not buy from these guys. Obviously out for your money and nothing else. Extremely shady and disgusting business practices. Get a clue guys.

The original complaint listed for JustFab.com should be removed. Mairi included a quote from the terms and conditions, but failed to include the paragraph immediately following:

"Once you make your first purchase, your status is automatically upgraded to VIP member. Now you will be required to take action by the 6th of each month. You may either opt to skip the month, or request new selections. If you don't take any action by the 5th of the month, your credit card will be charged $39.95 on the 6th day of the month. This becomes one JustFab credit that can be redeemed at a future time. This price includes one fabulous item, our style experts' efforts in choosing items for you, and free shipping."

That very clearly states that you will become a member, and you will be charged if no action is taken. It also explains that these charges are for credits, which may be used for later purchases.

Not only that, the site sends you reminder to go check your selections for that month. If they just bother to go to the website once a month and refuse to buy any of their selections there are absolutely no charge. The customer should know enough to keep track of an account they created. Not to mention, why didn't this person get in touch with company after the first charge on their credit card. It sounds like the consumer is the irresponsible one in this case by not keeping track of their account or their credit card. You can't just blame the company when you don't do your part.

When I called to ask why I was getting random charges, they said I was supposed to "opt out" of the last three months’ fashion selections. Basically, it's a scam that forces you to make purchases. When I signed up, I thought all I was purchasing was one pair of shoes, and there was no membership fee. Here is the exact, unclear wording from their website: "Purchase only the items you want for $39.95 each. Buy a pair of shoes or a handbag or mix and match with one of each. Or, you can really splurge and buy several items from each boutique! If you can't make a purchase one month, simply skip this month, and we'll send you new options next month.” There is no statement that if you don't "skip this month", they will charge you anyway.
