    Groupon will not ship to a PO box. That's unfortunate for those of us whose house is in a rural area and do not have access to a home mail box. I understand of course that this is for fraud protection. However, the one star is awarded to the rude customer service representative who was unhelpful and borderline hostile. They refused to explain to me what my options were (beyond telling me to "ship it to your work address" which I would NEVER do as I find it unprofessional to do that at the current place that I work). They also would not let me speak with a manager after I requested to do so 4 times. (Probably a company policy as I got the impression that they just don't give a damn).

    Luckily my local post office is more competent! Solution: Just tell Groupon to ship the packages to the post office address with your PO box number displayed like an apartment number. I hope that Groupon eventually puts policies into place that will help those of us that live out in the country purchase through them. I would have been happy to go through some type of verification process. But alas, instead I was insulted by the customer service department. It seems like an awfully lot of work to go through to order the same crap that other companies offer at better prices. I will be avoiding Groupon in the future.

    I listed my company as a Groupon Merchant in 2014. They suggested and would only approve about 60% of what the company would normally make for the services offered. The amount of money lost using their services was unreal. I called SEVERAL times within a few months, begging them to give me some lee-way as a merchant. They declined every offer I submitted, no matter the change, even though the same deals were RIGHT NEXT TO MINE on Groupon from competitors!!! Finally, they told me to make my own deal on their personal merchant site. So, reluctantly, I tried. There were barely any options and I could NOT ADD what was needed to be functional, though, once again, the same deals were sitting right in my face!!! PLEASE HEED MY WARNING! NEVER USE GROUPON, AS IT WILL DESTROY YOUR BUSINESS!

    They overcharge on tax when they respond to emails about the issue it has nothing to do with your email issue over and over. Forcing me to have to call only to told they can't refund fund but will give me a credit which I will to use by 3 mos. I had another credit from something I had bought but the company would not honor the gift C. so they refunded. They would not put back on my credit card--would only give me a credit but when I was ready to buy they could not find it to place that credit on what I was now buying. I had even email asking that they place my credit on these items--they did not--they just went ahead and sent the payment through. I want my money back and I do not want to deal with a company that deals with customers in such an unforgivable manner. There is no order number.

    They do not do price match. Their system is so, so slow and always goes out with error. The worst thing is that their system could automatically check out items in your cart without your authorization. Pay attention to this!!! I experienced this error last month in March, 2016. It checked out 40 items in my cart including 6 TV wall mount kits and 5 comforter sets. That was crazy! After their system fault, I chatted or called their customer service, but they could do nothing, just told me to return all of the items. It took me almost a month to deal with their fault: called for return labels, gathered the 40 items, checked every item to match the label, brought them to post office! Totally waste of my time and made me depressed by Groupon's fault!

    Do you know what is the worst thing when you want to return their goods? Their return center does not work! Every time you click return package icon, their system keeps come out with a message: "Oops! Groupon Goods is temporarily unavailable or overloaded. Please try again in a few minutes. For more information, please visit the FAQ." That is totally fraud! It will make you crazy and depressed!!! They only provide live chat on the last page of your check out. This means if you have problem and want to chat with their staff, you have to choose one item into you cart and then go to proceed to checkout. This procedure makes you very close to final complete your order! If you do not pay attention to this, you may order some useless things by your finger shake!

    I bought an eyelash extension through Groupon. When I called to make the appointment, the business never answered the phone (tried multiple times and left messages with no response). I finally drove to the business as I thought I may have had incorrect contact information. The door was locked... They peeked out the window but would never open the door. This was over $100 that I never got back. I contacted Groupon and they did nothing. After contacting them several times, I finally just gave up. Very hesitant to purchase anything else as I don’t feel that they verify these businesses are legitimate.

    I bought an item in February, and never received it. When I went on to track my item, it said that the page had expired. I purchased another item in March, again the same situation transpired. The website makes it impossible to contact Groupon by phone. This is not good enough.

    I am writing this review with regards to the so far terrible service I have received from Groupon. I ordered some bedding costing around £34 in total around 2 weeks ago and Groupon has sent me the wrong product. A product they advertised for under £10. After 5 emails they have informed me they cannot send me my product that I paid for and to read the terms of return which states you cannot return bedding. I have sent another email requesting they send me the correct product or I will go to trading standards. I have not yet received a reply.

    I am disgusted they are still advertising the product I ordered but cannot supply me with it, and in their terms and conditions state I cannot return the product they wrongfully sent me which was under 1/3 of the cost of the product I ordered! If they do refund me I expect to be refunded the amount of money of the product I paid for and not the product they sent me. I also expect to be refunded the postage cost. Not a happy consumer.

    I had a problem placing an order on Groupon yesterday (4/3) and got an automated message to contact customer service. I found the live chat feature and later got transferred to "Getaway Specialist" and was in queue position 3. After getting to queue position 1 and waiting for close to 2 hours, there was still no one to answer my call. Since it was getting late, I decided I would try again today. Maybe they had a really troublesome case. Today, I tried live chat again. I was transferred to "Getaway Specialist," waited half hour and was immediately hung up on before the customer service rep even said hello. Needless to say I was infuriated. I no longer want to deal with Groupon and don't wish to continue my purchase.

    Groupon has made a change in the ordering process recently and has placed the "buy" button in the same area as the options for going back a page. This causes purchases to automatically happen when you attempt to go back a page!! You are not aware of it until you receive an email message. PLUS you only have 2 Hours to make a change! If you aren't able to see your email because of work or it's before bed, you're screwed. It appears to be a tricky way to steal money from unsuspecting people...

    Being a newer business, I decided Groupon may be a good option for acquiring new customers. I was very wrong. Being hesitant about the sales $ split, the business representative closed the deal by saying that my business, which offers Kayak Tours, would be a big Summer campaign and promoted heavily (since it was March, and just before Summer). She also said that they were expecting my deal to sell "REALLY well! ". The day my deal went live, it couldn't be found anywhere!!! I searched Groupon high and low and never found it anywhere on the site. I let it sit for the day, and the next day was the same...NOTHING.

    I wrote my "Account Representative" who said that they were indeed emailing it to people who had chosen the category(ies) my deal was listed under. While writing back to her original reply, asking why my deal couldn't be found anywhere in the site, I got an email notification from Groupon citing my deal as a "Deal of The Moment". My wife witnessed the whole exchange and laughed saying they probably just sent that to me, when I got the email but she didn't. I am sure the Groupon may work for some businesses, but my complaint is with the promises made, and ultimately, unfulfilled. My purpose for writing this is to warn other service businesses that may be "sold" on the grand promises these people make. If you aren't even seeing your deals in your inbox, or on the website, chances are your potential customers aren't either.

    Made my first purchase of goods on Groupon. During the sale process, the system did not ask me to specify the shipping address and I assumed they have my current address as I purchased Groupons recently. It turned out it was sent to my old address in another state. I changed the address and assumed it was fixed. I chatted with them the next day and they said that the address was changed too late. The package was delivered and there was nothing they could do. I called the building management and they will return the package. Now I have to hope that Groupon will indeed receive the package. This is the last time I'm buying any good on Groupon.

    I purchased some online store's coupon from Groupon which you can't use if you live outside US. I complained and they said I could give it to my friend. The company is in US but they offer free shipping to Canada. That's why I bought it. However, the company didn't allow me to purchase. Credit cards and Paypal account didn't work if you live in outside US. (Paypal/US account only. Credit card/Billing address should be US address.) I entered my location before I purchase this coupon. Then why did Groupon allow me to purchase this coupon? I am truly disappointed about it. I'll never ever buy anything from them.

    I had never used this company, but on the referral from a friend I decided to give it a try. Completely the worst experience I've had purchasing an item online. Made the purchase on Thursday 03/24/16 for Two rides for two people at Fast Lap Indoor Kart Racing, thinking I could take my kids the same day. When I tried to retrieve the print out coupon, the website crashed, so I couldn't go to my newly created account and make the print out. The next day I followed up and still the Groupon Website was down. It actually didn't come back up till Friday evening on 03/25/16.

    At this point, the only option in using the coupon was for Saturday 03/26/16, but I couldn't take my kids, because the Fine Print says the coupon is not valid on Saturday or Sundays. I ended up paying cash at the Kart Racing facility, so my kids could enjoy the day. However, I tried calling Groupon itself on their 800 number, to complain and try to get reimbursed, but the wait time to speak with any customer service representative is over 2 hours wait time (what company has a 2 hour wait time... Ridiculous!!!). I'll never use this company again, and will never recommend the site to anyone else. Horrible business.

    Calling and speaking with a customer service rep. Was completely dissatisfying and frustrating. The first rep. explained after 20 minutes on the phone that they were having technical difficulties; I should call back in one hour. I asked them to call me instead. They took my number and assured me they would call; they never called. I called a second time, same day. Representative indicated the problem was on my end not theirs. I asked for a Supervisor, I was put on hold. Rep came back to ask if she can fix the problem. I pushed hard to get a Supervisor. She finally took the call, spoke much better English and resolved the problem.

    Groupon customer service needs A LOT OF IMPROVEMENT.

    I was gifted a Groupon. When I tried to use the Groupon for a night's stay at resort, I was told by the resort that it was under new ownership and could not be honored. I requested with detailed information from Groupon customer service staff to have Groupon Bucks credited for the amount of the Groupon that I was not able to use. They refused and said the gift giver is the only one who can get Groupon Bucks credited. This makes no sense and is dishonest business policy. It's the same if you were gifted a too small shirt in a department store and went to exchange it in the store with the gift receipt but are told that the exchange can only be made by the gift giver. Poor, poor policy. This Groupon was paid for and they hold onto your money... not even a credit in the form of Groupon Bucks (which was what my request was).

    I purchased a Groupon for a dinner cruise for 2 people on a Wednesday or Thursday evening. When I contacted the Cornucopia Princess to redeem the Groupon on March 23, 2016, I was told they are not sailing until April 13 or April 14th. I paid $99.00 for this Groupon. I contacted Groupon and they said they won't extend the date. After many emails they credited me $47.00. This is totally unacceptable and an Unfair Business Practice. Groupon is a scam.     Groupon does not seem to care about the merchant at all. I was not given the correct information on payments. Was told it would be a 30-70 split and they only paid me 23 percent. They let customers purchase as many Groupons as they want even though it's one per customer. No one from their "support" team helped me understand how to protect myself with the fine print. The Groupon customers took advantage of my generosity and Groupon took advantage of me period!

    Don't wait to purchase if you notice they have sold a lot of the deals already. Seems like best deals sell out quickly if they are popular; can't always snag a deal in time if you don't check your email promptly. Have purchased several golf package Groupons for my husband to use since he is a golfer that enjoys playing area courses with friends. Often, the deal includes a cart and play for two for an incredible low price (at least half price so the other person plays for free). There usually aren't too many restrictions other than the expiration date but the amount paid for the Groupon never expires and can be used past the promotion expiration date to apply to the regular play price.

    Our best deal was a boat rental in Naples with the 20% off. We got a full day motor boat rental for 80 bucks. We had to pay for a full tank of gas despite what we used. Other than that, nothing bothered us. It was a solid deal. Be patient, read fine print, wait for additional discount coupons. Enjoy the fun while saving money- especially on vacations. Fine print must be clearly stated. Use common sense and choose wisely. Tip nicely and say thank you. Again, shop for vacation destinations and look for special activities. Even if they are slightly over your spending comfort, they will have bigger value and memories if you can save 10/20 bucks pp.

    I bought a Groupon for an oil change at Sears. But once I get there the lady checking me out says the Groupon has expired, when on the voucher it clearly says Groupon expired not for another 3 months and I had just bought the Groupon 2 days prior. She suggests I call Groupon customer support to straighten everything out. I call and it says there is a 40 min wait time. I spend almost an hour on the line waiting, still nothing. By the time it reaches an hour mark, the customer support line hung up on me!! I was furious because the entire time I was waiting at Sears!

    I call back and now the wait time is over 3 hrs! So I chose the option to be on virtual hold, where they call you back when it's your turn. And so about an hour later my phone rings... ONLY ONCE! As I reach to pick up, the person has already hung up!! I call back to be put on hold again... suspiciously the call gets dropped. Then about a min. later I get a voicemail from Groupon saying they attempted to call me back... HAHA. It's nearly impossible to get a hold of Groupon... I am still on hold... they have not answered my emails. BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM GROUPON!!

    BEWARE THE BAIT AND SWITCH! On March 8, 2016, Groupon sent me an email with a promo code that promised $50 off any item through March 9. Great deal, right? I opened the Groupon app and searched for “camera,” as I have been interested in a GoPro style camera. I found an ASX ActionPro-X HD1080p WiFi Sports Camera Bundle on huge sale. Just $99. Camera, multiple mounts, fasteners, memory card and more. Not a GoPro but the camera was well reviewed on multiple independent sites. And with $50 off, well, worth the risk.

    I entered my credit card information and mailing address and placed the order. The app showed that the order was placed (just over $53). Can’t wait. Then an email soon followed with the subject line: Problem With Your Groupon Order. There were no specifics, just a link to customer support and a reference order number. I clicked the link and was taken to a page seemingly designed to discourage any real inquiry. After some digging around, I found an area where I could let them know the reference order number and ask what the problem was. The site informed me that my inquiry would be addressed within 24 hours. Not wanting to wait that long, I Googled the Groupon customer service number (since it doesn’t seem to be anywhere on their site) and called them.

    After waiting for a while and being encourage to hang up and let them call me back, I did connect with a customer service rep. The rep immediately let me know that she sees I was trying to order a GoPro. I reminded her that the camera I wanted was not a GoPro, but an ASX. The rep let me know that, for my protection, Groupon suspended my order until they could verify that it was indeed me that was ordering the camera. She needed to ask me a few security questions. What are the last four digits and expiration date of the credit card I used? Although I just entered this information when I purchased the camera and repeating it now provide zero authentication that I am who I say I am, I obliged. She then let me know that she can see what happened with my order.

    While it was suspended—for my protection, of course—the product sold out! So while Groupon suspended my purchase for reasons that provide absolutely no additional security, they also neglected to hold the item I purchased. Let me be clear, my purchase was NOT suspended because of any issue with my account, my credit card or anything else on my end. It was suspended because they say they needed to ensure I wasn’t an online criminal, by asking me questions that if I were a criminal, I would have the answers to. And in the time between my placing the order, them suspending it, and my verifying absolutely nothing of importance about myself, they sold the item to someone else! But don’t worry, I could still go buy a GoPro with no mounts or fasteners or memory cards or any extras for $200 more.

    And here’s where Groupon elevates their bait and switch beyond the wildest dreams of even the shadiest brick and mortar store. They told me all they could do was add $50 discount back to my account. Excuse me? It was still March 9. The previous code for $50 off should still be good, right? Um, no. I was told that the $50 credit was applied to the camera I bought, but they suspended until they could ask me security questions that do nothing to let them know if I’m a scammer.

    I think we know who the scammers are. Groupon. I would love to know how many of these cameras they have sold. My bet is ZERO. The same number that they have in stock. It is bait. The funny thing is, Amazon has the same camera bundle for $89. I would recommend that before you buy anything from Groupon, check it out on Amazon. You’ll get the same product for about the same price (usually better) and you won’t be subjected to Groupon’s criminal BAIT AND SWITCH!

    I ordered a Groupon for a couples massage and spa for my husband and I for $120.00 about 3 weeks ago. Due to our busy schedules we haven't had a chance to use it. I received an email today asking about my experience at the spa, stating the Groupon was used this morning. However I did not use it. I tried contacting the massage spa company directly and they are closed on Mondays and I've been on hold for Groupon's customer service for exactly 1 hour and 08 minutes now. I am very upset. I will never use Groupon again and I refuse to get off the phone until someone answers.

    My daughter gifted a Groupon Voucher for dinner ($80.00). The 3 course should at least cover the cost we had. But the entree and value that $3.00, mains at $18.00, glass of wine cheap cask/house wine at $5.00, and dessert just scoop of fried ice cream at $5.00, total value $3100 per person, but advertised the $80.00 voucher is discounted price of $97.00 for two. This was a rip-off. Please investigate.

    My girlfriend bought me a watch for holidays with a debit card --FIRST mistake and I've warned here. The late arrival was a watch box, not a watch itself. The box was not even part of the ordering option. Never could get them to send a return free shipping label so I had to send the box back at my cost $7.00+ which they would not refund. After threats to U.S. Post Office--(mail fraud) and my state's consumer protection division I received a watch that did not work, I brought it to a jewelry store who replaced the battery and tested the watch declaring it worthless and in-operable! I've sent numerous e-mails, attempts to call--they never answer. I've now sent them my last demand for a shipping label for this watch and return my girlfriend's purchase price $37.00 and my shipping = $7.00, and watch, battery and exam cost of $20.00. So we're into this wrong item/broken watch for a total of my $27.00 and girl's 37.00 for a total of $64.00 lost and spent.

    My state's agency asked me to contact them one last time... I did so through e-mail and 3 days into awaiting for a reply. I will file a postal complaint and consumer division complaint looking for triple damages of the $37.00 which is allowed under a 93 A complaint. ADVICE: never purchase with anything but a credit card, they'll easily reverse the charges, costing you nothing! Just tell your C.C. company they'll be part of the fraud and that you will just not pay and cancel the card minus what you would otherwise owe. I will attempt to follow up!!!

    Customer service is acting as an enemy when it comes to customer service... My last few experiences contacting a Groupon and complaining about the service of their client left me felt worthless. They wrote me a letter where they blamed and criticized me and accused that I do not know how to use the Groupon. The tone of the email was RUDE and disrespectful... Do you think I am an adult and know how to communicate, escalate and collaborate especially if I have issues with the business who literally did not attempt to provide service they suppose to. Remember I paid money and do not need to put too much efforts scheduling appointment for massage if the client does not intend to do so. I care about my time energy and money.

    Groupon should be more flexible POLITE and have a quality of customer service. My friends had the same issues and lost money because could not use the Groupon on time and could not get just a credit back NOT a full refund... When they complained Groupon gave them sooo much hard time that they deleted the account completely. I am intended to do the same thing. Everyone!! Think twice before purchasing Groupons. You do not want to be in a situation where you would lose money and deal with the RUDE people!!!

    On Feb 24, 2016, I purchased 2 Groupons that had a 20% discount. At checkout, both Groupons showed the discount taken off the price, and the price reduced in the total to be charged. Today, 4 days letter, in reviewing my credit card charges, I find Groupon charged me the FULL amount, without the 20% discount the screen showed would be taken off. In reviewing my account, the details there don't show the discount anymore, nor does a follow-up email. So, I have NO written proof the the screen shown to me at check-out, that the price actually charged is 20% too high. BUYER BEWARE. GROUPON IS PRESENTING A FALSE SET OF CHARGES AND THEN CHARGING YOUR CREDIT CARD MORE!

    Purchased a straight brush, I was charged twice (only ordered one). I contacted the company and asked them to refund and they said they have shipped two. One arrived and it doesn't work, and it is not the item that was pictured in the ad. The other hasn't arrived. I contacted the third party vendor and asked them to pay for return shipping and they refuse. I have to pay to ship an item that doesn't work, and for an item I didn't order and don't have. Groupon has not been helpful at all. They say that is a third party vendor, I bought from Groupon. I wrote a review on the item, they deleted it. Apparently they only allow positive reviews. I wrote another review, I am sure they will delete it as well. Buyers beware where you spend your money.

    I wish I didn't have to get any stars at all, Groupon customer service is the worst I've ever had to deal with. I ordered a pair of curtains not once but twice. The second time I was giving them the benefit of the doubt thinking that they couldn't screw and order up twice but yes they did!! The order clearly said white and what they sent me was gray which I could not use! They did this twice! How hard is it to read a form that says one pair of "WHITE" curtains. Well tried calling customer service first, I was told I would be put on hold for two hours!!! So I emailed them both times. "I'm sorry there's nothing we can do. Print off a label yourself and send it back and oh here's a pissy five dollar customer credit" was their response.

    Assuming everybody has access to a printer which I do not so here I am stuck with two sets of curtains. They have over $80 of my money and refuses to do anything about it. One even said to go somewhere and find an Internet café and print off a label. Are you freaking kidding me?? I was trying to match a set of curtains that I already have and they're the only ones that carry them. So now I'm going to be out more money because I have to replace the whole set, not just one window because I can't get them to match up!! Oh but they did offer me another five dollar customer credit. I mean really why would I want to order something from a company that can't get the order straight after two times? I'm thoroughly disappointed in Groupon and Groupon customer service especially. Groupon customer service are no more than incompetent morons that care nothing about their customers or making anything right for anyone!

    I purchased an online course of $169. I tried several times to redeemed the offer and the code didn't work at one time and had several error messages at other times and at some point I did give up. With frustration, I gave up. Now my offer expired and I tried reaching out to both the Groupon and merchant. Groupon customer support wasn't helping and sent me same messages over and over again. They stated that I needed to read the Fine Print. I reached out to the merchant and they said I need to pay more money to have my account open.

    In the end, I lost $169 and didn't get anything out of this except headaches from getting customer support. It was my first time using Groupon and last time I would ever purchase anything. I do not recommend Groupon to anyone and I have warned many folks I know about their service. Groupon has very poor customer support service. They don't have a phone number for me to contact.

    This week I continue to fight the 1099K Groupon sent me. They claim to have paid $25,000 and I only was paid $9,000. They have offered refunds for people who had their services completed. One man wanted sexual services and after I refused, Groupon provided him and his wife a refund. Many times, Groupon clients have violated my company policy and Groupon refunds them. Yet, I have nearly a perfect rating and tons of positive reviews.

    Earlier last month, Groupon threaten my company in order to force me into signing a very bad contract with a second company. The deal was so bad that I could not consider the deal. They wanted to sell the voucher for $30.00 and provide me with $15.00. However, the service cost $40.00 to provide. I could not sell the service for less than the cost of the service. I provided a breakdown of the fees to the sales rep and she stated that. "Groupon is not a money making tool and I cannot expect to pay a staff or rent with their deals."

    After several weeks of harassments, their sales rep said I was, "harsh and threatening". She continued to threaten to have Groupon refuse to work with me. However, I thought there was zero issue since I did not have a contract with that company. However, the sales rep forced my other company to be removed from Groupon. This company has nothing to do with the other company. The only connection is that I know how Groupon works.

    Groupon sent a letter to the BBB stating they had six accounts of me being verbally abusive to their staff. I find this very odd because I keep calling to ask why no one was contacting me about my complaint about their sales rep threatening me. Going back to the bad deal contract. LivingSocial is charging $89.00 for the same exact service.

    On Feb. 4th I ordered one of their so called deals for two Rings. They gladly charged my credit card right then and there. The same day I received the confirmation Email which stated, "Order will be shipped 2 to 3 business days from date of order". Two days later I received Email with tracking info and it said again "shipped 2 to 3 business days from date of order" then under that it said "package ready to ship". So three days later I check and package still not shipped.

    So I checked the website and it said order has shipped. I decided to write them to ask why the conflict between pages and they have their system set up to not give you direct answers but to tell you to READ THE FINE PRINT, that it would take 7 to 12 business days from day shipped. Order wasn't shipped until the 13th of Feb. and took exactly 12 day to arrive only not to be the rings I ordered. I wrote support to tell them and they don't want to make it right but they are willing to let me return what they sent.

    Groupon has a systematic problems. If you buy a service or product and you do not receive what you have purchased, you may get your money back BUT you will not be able to leave feedback. You can contact Groupon and ask for return or refund which sometimes it is not easy to do so. For example the last time I purchased a massage session, I was not able to make an appointment with the provider for more than a month. They did not answer phones or return calls. When I asked Groupon for refund I had to prove that I have made attempts. Then Groupon contacted the provider and asked me to wait for the provider to respond. Finally when the provider did not respond they refunded me.

    After going through all this hassle I wanted to leave feedback for others to know what happened to me. But Groupon deletes the returned/refunded items from the list of your purchases (MY Groupon) just like you have never made that purchase and you are not able to leave feedback. I believe this procedure artificially increases customer ratings on Groupon. I have contacted Groupon on this regard but their answer was "you can send your feedback to us and I'll make sure that your feedback is communicated to the right people who can address your concerns directly with the business." Someone should stop Groupon from misleading consumers.

    I purchased 3 PrinterPix vouchers from Groupon. 1 for me and 2 as a gift for my son. We ordered all 3 at the same time. Several weeks later 1 was shipped through USPS it arrived very faded in the middle of the metal print, the photo that was downloaded was not. A week or so later another 1 came shipped through UPS. It arrived with a dent in the upper left hand corner. I never received the 3rd print. Emailed PrinterPix back and forth for 7 months giving them voucher numbers, order numbers, photos of the 2 I received. They acted like it was my problem. I have never dealt with such a incompetent company in my life. Their customer service department is basically full of **. I should have know by their ** stalling tactics that they had no plan on ever resolving my complaint. I have 43 emails back and forth over the 7 months.

    Just recently they told me, "I am really sorry for the delay in responding and the inconvenience caused. We have been experiencing some technical difficulties with our system and are doing all we can to ensure all customers are answered to promptly. I really appreciate your patience." Also, the reason why our order was returned was due to "Address is undeliverable due to USPS doesn't deliver out there. You pick up from PO box. You will have to pay for that. Shipping is extra. If any problems, please contact us at 1-888-322-6733." Then they told me, "It looks like those orders were destroyed because they were returned back to us and we were never notified that you wanted them. You have a store credit for the prints. The only thing that would need to be paid in order to get them is shipping and handling."

    So I finally contact Groupon and they said for them to help me out I would have had to contact them within 14 days. I explained to them that I have been dealing with PrinterPix since last August and I just finally gave up. Neither Groupon or PrinterPix stands behind the products they sell.

    I recently purchased two Apple watch bands (in different colors) from Groupon. I received one watch band and it was broken. I returned the item and received a refund. It took over a week to receive the second watch band that was ordered at the same time. When I opened the package, it was not a watch band but a protective cover for the face of the watch. I contacted customer service and they told me to send the item back for a refund. It has been over 3 weeks and my refund status is now closed. When I contacted customer support they said I received a refund. I did receive a refund, for the first band that was broken. However I have not received a refund for the wrong item I was shipped. I have contacted customer service 4 times and receive the same generic, prewritten email response each time. Customer service is obviously not a priority and not taken seriously.

    I am writting this update only to be honest as to the out come of my last review. However, I am in no way endorsing that Groupon has any consistency of delivery with purchased goods and actually, I would still truly believe the other reviews written about Groupon purchases never being delieved as promissed. So be warned that I may have just been the exception.

    After nearly a month of waiting and several calls to customer service(which lead to virtually no reasonable answers) I actually received my Sonos speaker. It was new and complete in an original unopened box. It is working and sounds great! The price was right but the uninformed Groupon Customer Service was disheartening and made me feel as though I lost $172.00 to a third party seller. That scare was enough for me to say that I will never trust Groupon again for Groupon Goods. I may still continue to purchase their restaurant food Groupons however, even those are not all what you think is a good deal. I will update my rating but not by much....BTW, If you ever see the Sonos on sale again at Groupon, do not trust the reviewer that states the delivery came fast (It is written under the Groupon ad) It not true...Good Luck!

After numerous calls to GROUPON and getting a run around about how my problem would be sent to their GROUPON GOODS department for review, I have still not seen my purchase. Today, February 19th, I called again and this time, after getting absolutely no concrete answer, the lady says to me, "The next available response from GROUPON GOODS department will be on February 24th." ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! $172.00 I paid and they can't feel my pain!

    So I write this report to keep you from spending any of your money with GROUPON and forget the "deal" and just buy on AMAZON!! I have feeling I will be in the same boat as some here already who received a credit rather than a refund. I hope not but it's not looking good and GROUPON is a rip off to the consumer.     Order a complete King Mattress Set February 1, 2016. Paid in complete over $900 - As of today no mattress set delivered.     I purchased airport parking coupons from Groupon for WallyPark. Following the directions emailed to me by Groupon, I clicked on the reservation link included with the coupons and was sent to WallyPark's / Groupon website. My Groupon coupon that I had purchased was there and I put in all the information required for my reservation. Everything went smoothly and straight forward until I pushed the button to confirm reservation. I received a "server error". I emailed WallyPark informing them of the error and I waited a couple of days and tried again... same thing. I then emailed Groupon about the problem to let them know WallyPark had problems and explained exactly what I had done, etc.

    My response was the directions on how to use the coupon. A bit annoyed that they did not address the problem, I emailed back saying that if they had read my email they would see that I followed the instruction 'to the letter' and the problem was with WallyPark. I was unable to use my Groupon coupon until the website was fixed. The next day, I got another response from Groupon saying that they had cancelled my purchase and would credit (not refund) my Groupon account. I never asked to cancel the purchase, I just wanted help getting what I paid for. What really angered me was they were not returning my money, they were giving me credit. I responded by asking why I would want credit for a company that apparently can't deliver the product. I immediately contacted VISA and disputed the purchase.

    Participated in the Samsung S4 phone deal after reading EVERYTHING they had saying it was fully compatible with AT&T, yet we find out, it's not. Now they're saying it's been more than 14 days and we're on our own. The customer service flatly will not give the phone number or any contact info to anyone in corporate. They tell me "we ARE corporate". Clearly a lie, after a 50 minute wait for a return call too. They won't even tell me who was the vendor was. "We don't know" was another lie.     When I first checked all this bad reviews about Groupon I thought, "Wow, maybe people like to review only when they have some complain". Then I checked the reviews on Google Play and there things are totally different. Reviews are mostly very good so I want to give you my Groupon experience: All the time I bought a Groupon, I loved it. Actually in some cases I first contact the sellers and then if I like the way they reply me I buy the Groupon. Sometimes there are some great offers but the sellers are not that great so better to contact them before and check their reputation on internet. In this way it's very difficult to have a bad experience.

    I bought 1 travel and I often go to eat outside using the Groupons. I love to use it around the world. The only problem is that I had to create some different accounts for each country I visited. It should be much better to unify it. It should be better to use Groupon around the world with just 1 account. Customer care is always available. I prefer to use the chat.

    I'm so unhappy with Groupon. My experience started with not being able to register and then not being able to apply my credit card. I reserved a hotel and I was told in every payment confirmation and order details that I was going to be charged 270$ for 2 nights at the hotel. I got the invoice from the hotel that said 270$. When I check my credit card account I was charged 53.33 more than I was originally told and emailed. So I contacted the email help hotline and they never responded.

    So I called in. I was on the phone for a hour and half trying to talk to a supervisor. One of the reps told me their email is wrong and it isn't applying taxes. I finally got ahold of a supervisor after being transferred and on hold 5 times. She told me she knows that it said the total amount before I checked out even though my boyfriend and I went on the site together to reserve it and both saw the amount and we both were wondering why I was charged extra. I felt like she was calling me a liar at that point. She said that it was because of taxes but shouldn't you tell the customer their itemized receipt with all the charges before they checkout.

    I told the supervisor that if they didn't compensate me I would never use their company again. This is after she told me she can't refund taxes and offered me 25$ credit on my account. I'm sorry but 25$ isn't 53. I feel cheated out of the money I work for. I even went back on to the site and it said that the total amount "with" taxes. They obviously have a lot of technical issues and nobody should use this site till they work out these issues so you know how much you're actually going to get charged.

    Groupon does not have a secure online system. Hackers will get your credit card info & use it to order with Groupon. Groupon will then accuse you of placing the order or that you left your account unsecured allowing someone to use your account. Groupon will not take responsibility if someone hacks into their server & uses your account. Stay away from them.

That only reason I did not print the return label is because I was told they can do exchange to find out they don't do exchange because the products come from different vendor even if it is the same item. I will never buy from this website again. I am definitely going back to Zulily. They have is business 100% from now on…

    While looking through my emails I noticed an advertisement for Groupon. It was advertising Broadway Show tickets at a discounted price. I opened the email. While on the viewer page, their website crashed and "error" and "problem with website" appeared on the screen. This was all fine with me because I was just curious and only looking. However, later when I returned to Inbox on my emails, there was another email from Groupon congratulating me on my purchase. I did not make a purchase nor did I give Groupon my permission to make this purchase and charge my card.

    After several attempts to contact Groupon (which btw is a 40-minute wait for customer service via telephone), they are unwilling to assist. They keep saying tickets are final sale. The fact that I did not make the purchase means nothing. They are unwilling and uncooperative to look further in this matter. They did not look into the fact that Groupon had problems with their site at this exact time. The charge is for $356.00. Customer service is unwilling to cooperate. Groupon is a scam. This is fraudulent.

    I tried to purchase an iPhone 6 through a Groupon. When I finished entering my info and tried to check out, an error appeared that my order could not be completed. It gave absolutely no reason. So, I contacted customer service, who escalated my issue. After SEVERAL WEEKS I got an email asking if I was still interested in this purchase.

    After several emails had been exchanged, I was informed that both of my choices were sold out, and that my card verification was incorrect. I insisted that no, the card information was correct, and asked to be provided which phone options were available. When I contacted another customer service agent to cancel this order, I was informed that it would take 8-10 business days to be refunded. MY money, that they outright TOOK out of my bank account.     We ordered 3 fitness trackers as gifts. First problem is they are supposed to ship in two days - we received tracking info but no details showed for 11 days. Then the items was shown to have traveled 1 hour from its origination! It's my belief they mark it shipped to prevent cancellations. I at first was ready to return the items. My wife however decided to keep them. I then was reviewing my credit card charges and noticed they charged me for shipping the 3 items when the site clearly stated free shipping on orders $34.99 and over. When I contacted Groupon about this they stated the mobile site and app did not support the shopping cart feature at this time so I could not combine the items into a single purchase and qualify for free shipping. They charged me for each item! Never again will I trust Groupon for any purchase. Hopefully they will vanish and save others the frustration of dealing with these crooks.

    I am a merchant who was hoping to use the Groupon services to boost my business. I set up my ad with them, but then realized there wasn't a place I could ad my website information, so I emailed them hoping to add it to my ad. I received no response. I did however, get a separate email from Groupon requesting my website information. In the email it said to just reply with my website and that my ad would go public on the 9th. It never did. So I called Groupon to see what the hold up was. The person had no idea what email I was referring to, and THEY'RE the ones who sent it! So, if I hadn't called nothing would've been done. Glad I did, except it took another 10 days for my ad to be posted. As a health professional, I was hoping to get the New Year's Resolution people early in January!

    Groupon is offering a promotional 10% discount for their "Getaway" travel option. I was unsure how to add the discount to the cart. I called customer service who assured I could alter the reservation after submission. Obviously that was a lie, they informed me the coupon would not work for a hotel (insert sarcastic emoji here). I was also told (not to mention clearly dictated on all groupon literature) that Groupon bucks would be applied automatically in the cart. Obviously that did not work so now I have to dispute the charge with my bank because groupon will not refund me, and I am stuck with 100.00 groupon cash that I NEVER EVER want to use. CROOKS!!!

    I ordered an iPad air smart cover on December 27th. On Dec. 29 I received an email from Groupon saying that my item was shipping soon and I could go online to track my shipment. I went into my account and saw that it was "packed and ready to be shipped." When it was still showing "packed and ready to be shipped" on January 7th, I sent an email. Over the course of the next week I sent emails back and forth to customer service repeatedly asking what the problem was and when the item would be sent. The entire time, the account kept showing it was "packed and ready to be shipped." They responded to each email, but never answered my questions. Instead, they kept saying they were investigating.

    Finally, I received an email yesterday saying they couldn't resolve the problem and were refunding my money. It will take 10 days for the refund to post. So, Groupon has my money for a month, but never sent the item and never explained what the problem is. Groupon is still advertising and selling the same item. Very poor customer service. Buyer beware.

    On the 16th December I ordered three Electric scooters for my kids Xmas present. When I received the scooters one in particular had numerous missing bolts so that was one scooter down. I emailed Groupon and got a response saying they will get back to me in 7 working days as they will be getting someone to review the situation. Three days later I took the kids out on the other two. 10 minutes into my younger child riding the scooter the motor started making some awful noise. The scooter would not move. I was gutted as this is now the second scooter down. Sent another email NO response whatsoever. Week later the 3rd scooter is doing the exact same thing. They were clearly faulty scooters. I'm so annoyed that Groupon is allowed to get away with such thing. Now I'm left with 3 faulty scooter. Sent numerous emails and no response.

    I purchased a pair of Beats headphones on 1/2/16. They were listed as new and said they should ship within 2-3 business days after purchasing. I also had an estimated delivery date of January 8-12. When I checked on January 13 and noticed that there was no tracking info and the items hadn't even been "processed for shipping" I emailed Groupon Customer Care. I also noticed at this time that they were now listed as "refurbished"- this was not the case at purchase. I received an email back assuring me that they were being processed and would ship soon but that I needed to "read the fine print" about their shipping policies. I responded with screenshots of what I saw (the 2-3 days/ the estimated delivery dates etc). I was mad. I even asked if these were truly in stock. The response email from them said it could take up to 12 business days to ship.

    SOOO, I called and spoke to an agent. He was nice but didn't seem to know what he was doing. He again assured me these were in stock but did agree that they should have already shipped. He said he would need to "escalate a claim" which would take another 3 business days. In addition, he assured me that these were refurbished headphones and even though I had proof (screenshots) of the original description and the one now--that Groupon was unable to change titles/descriptions of items once posted--so it was my error... strange because I have read similar complaints on this site. Three hours later, I received an email again that actually said "we messed up." They overestimated demand and do not have my item. It is now going to take another 10 business days for a refund to hit. I am absolutely appalled by the lack of service with this company. Buyer beware!

    This is review that I submitted to Groupon Goods for some dog collars that I purchased. This review was rejected to post to their site by the Groupon staff: I ordered five of these collars and left them in the package for a few weeks until I needed them. When I did open them I noticed that one of the collars did not turn on and one of the other collars was disconnected at the battery, so also not working. I contacted the Groupon staff and informed them that 2 out of the 5 collars were defective, but since my grace period had expired they would not replace the collars. Seems like very poor customer service. The three collars that were not defective do seem to work well. Very disappointed in the customer service though at Groupon!!!

    I purchased an item described as a "Trench Rain Coat" in September of 2015 as a birthday gift for my wife, whose birthday is Nov. 28th. Because it was a gift it was not opened until Nov. 28th. Once opened, it became readily apparent that not only was there was nothing rain worthy about the item, but the diameter of the sleeves was so small that only the skinniest of individuals would be able get their arms through them. I soon thereafter attempted to return the item (number **) and found that their 30 day limit for returns had expired and I could not arrange the return.

    Interestingly enough, at that time the item reference had deleted the term "rain" from the description. Obviously, others who purchased the time had voiced their dissatisfaction as well. I then attempted to explain my situation to Groupon using their online customer support forms. I did this THREE TIMES and never did hear back from Groupon. I refuse to use them for anything in the future.

    I order from Groupon for several years. For last minute discounts on dinners or activities, it works fine... IF used immediately. But 6% of their products are never as advertised, so the money wasted completely displaces any savings that I have gotten on the site. Jewelry, clothing, electronic, it's all junk now. Now they have destroyed my favorite designer fashion website Ideel, layer off their staff & dragged it from the fashion capital of the US to the fashion joke of the Midwest.     I bought "pashmina" scarves but found out after receiving them and checking the fabric labels that they weren't pashmina at all. Support staff at Groupon regrets my dissatisfaction but not willing to take back the unopened product or issue a refund. Didn't address my main issue that they had misrepresented the product itself. Nowhere in the "deal" details was the type of fabric mentioned. My purchase history gives no order number, just FedEx tracking info. I ordered 4 3-packs of the scarves in various color combinations and had given away 6 scarves as gifts before noticing that they weren't pashmina wool.

    We recently purchased 2 tickets to Dominican Republic via Groupon Getaways. Upon contacting travel agency to complete booking, they informed us the 2 Groupon voucher codes were not valid, and we would need to contact Groupon and have them re-issue a new set of voucher codes. The travel agency said this was not uncommon, and not to worry.

    We contacted Groupon and opened up a "ticket" with them to do this for us, over 2 weeks ago. They initially told us to wait a few days and it should be resolved. When it was not resolved by the estimated time, we called and they pushed back the "resolution" date another week. We waiting patiently for issue to be resolved and when it wasn't a week later called again to inquire on status. Still not resolved now over 2 weeks and multiple phone calls. We cannot complete booking with travel agency, until the new voucher codes are reissued and they can complete the billing process.

    Just received an email from travel agency which said we are still responsible for >$1000 of the bill (which should have been negated by the groupon voucher that we already fully paid for). What a huge headache and is sad that an issue as simple as re-issuing voucher codes that are valid, can take so long. Did call and warn them I would need this resolved or was going to write a bad review of this experience. They still were not able to resolve issue but instead gave $15 Groupon Bucks to my account. Thanks, but this is not solving my headache and our trip booking is still not complete!!! :(

    I ordered the Nikon P530 on December 16th only because it said "will ship in two days" so I was sure I would get it by Christmas. The tracking information said label prepared each time I checked it, so I called on the 19th and asked where my package was and I was told that the 2 day shipping that is advertised is just for sending the information to the warehouse. In the meantime I have also emailed them and the email responses I was getting were automated such as "we are getting to your request, please be patient." So the girl said "there was no telling when it would ship. Generally it takes 10 business days." So I got mad and hung up.

    I called back on December 23rd because the item still stated "shipping label prepared" and I got someone in another country that couldn't understand me and I couldn't understand her. At first she said my purchase didn't exist and then after putting me on hold she found it. She stated she would issue a $10 credit which was never done and that my shipping date was to be here by January 4th. I immediately asked for a supervisor. She fumbled put me on hold and came back and said there wasn't a supervisor available. I said "I just want to know why I was lied to" and she just apologized.

    I asked several times "why does your site advertise wrong information?" Got no clear answer. I asked for a refund and to not ship the product and she said they can't do that. I said "fine" and hung up. Called back on December 26th to inquire about the return policy because the website says you can only return 14 days after the purchase date and I hadn't even received my item yet which BTW is a Christmas present. They assured me I would be fine. I got a reference number and all. So yesterday January 2nd my package had finally arrived. Guess what... WRONG ITEM. THEY sent me a Nikon S9900. I call them. They apologize. Advise of a $10 credit. I was so in awe by this point I said "screw it. I'll just sent it back and get a refund." Lesson learned. Don't buy goods from this company. I have bought food coupons no problem. But wow this was by far the worst experience ever!

Several hours later when I looked at my email, I saw a purchase confirmation from Groupon for a $40 final sale food item. I did not make this purchase. When I emailed and later called Groupon, they insisted that since the 2-hour cancellation window had passed and the sale was final, they could not do anything about it.     On Nov 25 I placed an order for an xbox one controller. After 3 weeks when I checked the status it showed the item was delivered via Fedex on Dec 11. I never received the item and when I emailed their customer support this is what they replied: "However, according to your tracking number, **, it appears the product was delivered. I would recommend checking with your neighbors or others who might have accepted the package on your behalf to see if one of them has it. If you're unable to locate the package, you can try contacting the shipping service, in this case FEDEX, to see if they can provide you with a signature confirmation or more specifics regarding where the item was delivered. They may be able to help you track down the delivery, or provide another solution."

    Why the heck should I call Fedex/USPS or check with my neighbors about the package? Is it not the responsibility of the shipper to ensure the items are being delivered to the right address. I called Groupon's secret toll free number. I was told to follow the same crap of following with the postal office. I threatened to call my credit card company to dispute the charge and then I was offered a request for a refund. Lesson learnt - Never buy anything on Groupon. Their customer service is the worst & has zero accountability.

    I've mostly ordered services from Groupon and mainly without issue although I will say that many of the companies that advertise on the site advertise falsely to draw you in. A JD keyboard course I purchased is basically a man teaching me how to play songs rather than play keyboard - however, it did make me eligible for an NUS card so the student discount has been useful when shopping.

    A Deluxe Manicure and Pedicure with Pedicure Plus was disgraceful. There was nothing deluxe about the woman putting some cream on my feet, using a pumice and then clipping and painting my toe and fingernails. I've had deluxe manicures and pedicures before, my feet and hands touch water!!! I wrote to Groupon about this and didn't get a reply. Didn't get an opportunity to add a review of Pedicure Plus either for this service either.

    Same branch of Pedicure Plus (Worcester Park) for my semi permanent eye makeup (eyebrow tattoos) - tattoos were patchy even after the 60 top up weeks later. Despite this, still better than drawing them on in full everyday. Just a little touch up with eyebrow powder. My daughter had better results from the Bromley branch though. Gym passes no issues. Divaderme Lash Extenders delivered no problem. I think companies underestimate demand and then can't fulfill - Groupon is of no help to you if you encounter a problem but I will still use them for certain things.

    I placed several orders over the past few months with Groupon. I was never able to claim 7-5 of which were from Photobook America. I have emailed and called several times over the past 30 days and have not received ANYTHING. That aside, I've called Groupon a total of four times. The first time, I waited on the phone like an idiot only from my call to be picked up after two hours, and was immediately hung up on. The next day, I decided to go with their call back service. I called in the morning and received a call back exactly 1 minute before their closing time. Once I answered, they hung up! I tried again a few days later only to have the EXACT same hung happen to me!

    I called again, today actually. I got ahold of someone, after being on hold for over an hour. They are supposedly getting back to me tomorrow! I'm done. I've written 4 emails to Groupon, and even more to the company. I purchased these items four months ago. I'm so very disappointed in the overall customer service. It seems to me that they are partnering with any willing companies and not hiring enough people to service their customers. Groupon just lost a great customer.

    Bought 2 tickets from Groupon for the broadway show "Hand to God." Cost $49 each, which was supposed to be 23% below the regular price.     I purchased 2 of these DX758 8GB 7" Kids' Android Tablet with Case & Stylus after reading on Groupon they were valued at $399.99. They were being offered at a discount of 88% which allowed me to purchase them for $49.99. I thought they would make great Christmas presents, so I purchased them on Oct. 12, 2015 through Groupon. They were given to 2 children on December 25, the youngest being 9 years old. By today, December 29, the one tablet keeps freezing & the other one won't even turn on. There was only 14 days to return them even though they were not taken out of the package before Christmas. So needless to say, I am out $100.     On Dec. 22, 2015 I make a reservation with Groupon for Getaway Deal to Aqua Beach Inn, in Myrtle Beach, S Carolina. Within 4 hrs of reservation, I decided to write to Groupon to cancel this reservation, via their website. On their website, there was a disclaimer that reservation can't be cancelled after Dec. 13, 2015 but my reservation was for Dec. 22, 2015.

    After first email to Groupon, I got a reply from support@groupon asking for more information. This was on Dec 23, 2015. I supplied my information & then a day later, I got another email from Groupon, informing me that Groupon account holder was the person to enter this reservation. I was the Credit Card holder for this reservation & not the Groupon acct holder. Thus my wife entered this cancellation, on Dec 26, 2015. Since then, we are getting the run-around. One time one Customer Rep for Groupon say we are not entitled to refund & we explained that cancellation commenced within 3-day cancellation window.

Apparently it was then sent to the post office in my area who forwarded to another zip where Groupon apparently mis-labeled my address.     Groupon has many hidden and conflicting policies when it comes to their 'Getaways.' I purchased a One Night Stay at the Gateway Inn as a Groupon Deal. On the 'fine print' portion of the ad- states the following: No-shows will be charged total Groupon rate; no refunds, rescheduling, or rebooking allowed. Nowhere on the ad does it explain what a 'no show' is. No is 'no show' further explained on Groupon.com. Underneath the 'fine print' is a link that states 'see the rules for all deals.' In this section it reads: Redeemable only at Gateway Inn for the goods or services listed above. If the merchant refuses to honor this voucher because the promotional value has expired or FOR ANY OTHER REASON, Groupon will refund the amount paid. PERIOD.

    Well the merchant did not honor the voucher- they called it a 'no-show' even though it was explained to them that the item was bought as an incentive and dates of travel did not coincide with the person who won the incentive. They were called once on the 20th and again on the 25th to ask that they simply reschedule (even if there was a fee) and they REFUSED. Oh and Groupon did NOT refund- they also did not TRANSFER the amount paid to different deal although it also states in their 'see rules for all deals' portion that states 'this voucher is transferable.' Well what is it Groupon?

    This holiday season has been an EPIC FAILURE on behalf of Groupon. I purchased two separate items; the 1st one was purchased on Nov. 25th and did not ship until Dec. 9th. Groupon specifically states that items ship within 2-3 business days of purchase. I wrote and asked for a refund which I did not receive. The item eventually arrived on Dec. 14th and AFTER I purchased another item to cover the one that took forever to ship. The second item I purchased was on Dec. 9th... today is Dec. 26th and it has yet to ship.

    When communicating with Groupon, all customer service emails are clearly from East Indian individuals and they only come after 48-72 hours of waiting. Groupon has clearly outsourced its Customer Service to another country. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED with Groupon. To treat their customers with such crap customer service over the holidays is inexcusable. I will NEVER trust Groupon again over the holidays. Thanks for the ** service Groupon.

    I ordered something on Dec 8, 2015, emailed customer service several times and they kept replying asking for different things to be provided. I kept answering all their questions and sending the requested info, just to turn around and have them ask me for the same info again!! There are too many customer service reps with their hand in the pot and nothing getting resolved. I ended up calling in which I hate doing because I can't understand half of them. To make a long story short the convo was a nightmare. The rep couldn't comprehend what was being said. I has to explain over and over and spell things literally. Spent 45 min on the phone just for the phone call to get dropped while I was on hold. HOW CONVENIENT!!!

    Of course they had asked me for my phone number and email address, but do you think anyone got back to me?? I waited a day to monitor my account and see if anything has been done. They had put on a $10 Groupon credit which is the discount off. I originally was supposed to have on Dec 8, 2015 but I still wasn't able to make my purchase. I has 4 credit cards on file and each time I tried to purchase same thing and error occurred and could not process order. I ended up calling back in and speaking with someone who couldn't understand English or even comprehend me spelling things for him. So ** annoying!!!

    Anyway he could not figure out why things weren't working and says he tried on his end as well and it must have been my card and I said, "There is no way in hell 4 cards aren't working" and told him I'm not getting a message that says it was declined I'm getting an error message which means it's something on their end and he said he had to send me to the retention dept and that someone would get back to me within 72 hours. I told everyone this was a Xmas gift and needed to be resolved before Xmas. Well guess what? It is now the day after Xmas and I have not heard from them other than 2 separate emails asking me to review my experience with their customer service.

    ARE THEY SERIOUS??! I'm so ** PISSED!!! They need to either retrain their customer service reps on how to actually handle a problem or give the jobs to actual US citizens!! At least US citizen can understand you, your problem and will help or get the help needed to resolve the issue!! I'm literally disgusted with Groupon and their effortless attempts at resolving what should have been a simple task.

    Groupon offered a $39 a night, deluxe oasis, king deluxe suite at boutique hotel in Las Vegas. While browsing for different deal on the Internet on Dec 24th 2015 the laptop was closed due to power loss. Rebooting after laptop power up and return to previous page a confirmed purchase for 2 nights showed for $79 a night plus another $14 in hotel fees. FOR THAT VERY NIGHT, DEC 24TH -26TH. A night earlier than we were looking at. So now forced into taking this deal, by way of Groupon having no customer service till THE MONDAY AFTER CHRISTMAS, 4 days later.

    I have gone through the complaints on Groupon's fraudulent behavior and am broadly going to get screwed out of all that money. Our upgraded room has no hot water. I'm pissed way off the Las Vegas Strip and looking where to relocate for tonight as it's 4 am Dec. 26th, and our last getaway before the opening of our new company, has been nothing but a stressful Chrisman Holiday. The web and these scandalous websites are completely unregulated, but I just bet next year after my first year open for business, I/we will most likely get audited by the IRS. Big corporations get away with the fleecing of America and the ones struggling are the hard working honest people this country used to be known for. Sad. Truly sad. And one day this will seem like the good old days.

    I ordered a quilt set on December 1, 2015, as a Christmas gift. Groupon site says it was sent to merchant on 9th. I called every day the last few days to speak with someone at Groupon for a total hold time of 8 hours, & never got anyone! I googled the merchant & got lucky with their number. They stated that the order wasn't even sent to them until Dec. 15th!! Merchant shipped the 18th & because they use SurePost, it didn't make it in time. No idea why it took two weeks to transfer a order & merchant said their turnaround is 3 days or less; no backlog at all. I'll pay for better service in the future, it means more than saving a few dollars. Also means, once it's here, it's outside that 14 day refund period too... figures.

I recently moved 6 mos. ago and changed my address, credit card addresses, etc. I have been purchasing from Groupon for the last six months with zero problems getting my merchandise. So of course, the purchase I made on 11/30 that was all gifts, Groupon's site decided to ship to my old address and make it my default address, an error I didn't realize until I got the tracking info, which by then was too late to do anything about.

    I called Groupon and was told basically, "Too bad. Nothing we can do." One order took ten days to process and they still wouldn't do anything about correcting the address. After calling the post office (who's customer service is about as bad as Groupon's) I was told that my items should be forwarded to my "new" address (not in time for Christmas of course), but that one item was showing it had been delivered. I then got an email from Groupon saying I was receiving a refund for one item (that the USPS' tracking info said was being forwarded to my correct address) that had been returned to them.

    I told them that one item had been delivered and what do I do about it since it was their error? It was sent there in the first place, and knowing the people in my house, they told me they didn't receive anything (which meant, not only was it delivered to the wrong address, but was put in the wrong mailbox) and Groupon told me that since I was given a refund on an item I didn't receive back in April, if it happened again, too bad, and to file a claim with the post office. Shocker: the item isn't eligible for a claim with the post office since it wasn't shipped with insurance.

    Their online customer service is a joke and I was basically told that if I had wanted the items to go to my address, I should have selected that address, the address that was, and should have been my default address in the first place. There is no way to go into your account and delete old address. I had to have them do it for me. Then I was told to check the billing address of my credit cards. Really? Took care of that when I moved.

    The amount of money I have spent on their website, compared to the crappy customer service and slow shipping is just not worth it. I just hope at least I get the other 7 of the 9 items I ordered so I can close my Groupon account and never use them again. I'm just glad that the one item I spent $150 on was the last item they sent to my correct address, although as of now, I'm still out $125 worth of merchandise.

    I purchased a Deporte Watch on Groupon in March 2015. It arrived and I liked the watch, time was set and it was running fine. When Daylight savings came and I had to change the time, it took me a while to figure out how since there were no instructions with it, but it was relatively easy. I noticed a couple weeks ago that the time on the top watch was running slow so I started to change it and the cap you had to remove, by unscrewing it, wouldn't unscrew, it kept turning.     I ordered a small package from Groupon on Nov. 28th. Fine print stated 7-10 business days of received shipment after purchase date. 11 days go by, I wait on hold for 2 hours to speak to a CSR - but hung up before I could even talk to anyone. Wrote an email (please, don't be lead on. They will NOT contact you back in the 4 hours they say they will. I got an email around midnight after emailing them at 2 that afternoon). Email states that the merchant ran out of supply when I placed my order, so instead of contacting me and telling me that, they just take my money.

    Had I not contacted customer service they would have never put in another order for the same product, different color. They gave me $5 Groupon bucks "for my trouble".     I purchased 7 Gpasses to The Who concert back in August. After the concert was rescheduled, I made the mistake of contacting Groupon to ask if my 7 Gpass tickets would be transferred to the new date. Got a response back saying yes. Told them I wasn't able to print my Gpasses, and asked if I would be able to closer to the new date. Customer service rep said he would look into it, and get back to me. Days later got an email from Groupon saying Gpasses could be printed closer to new date. Then got an email from the rep that said he would look into it saying he had processed my refund! When I contacted them saying I had not requested a refund, I was told that they couldn't get my tickets back, because the offer was closed. Other than one rep who was sympathetic (and tried to access the offer, but was unable), everyone else was basically "too bad, so sad".

    The rep who tried said his supervisor could possibly be able to do something, but when the supervisor called, it was the same. If the offer was closed, could he not have contacted the promoter, and explained what happened? He didn't even offer. Just said I was out of luck, and would have to buy Tickets at full price from Ticketmaster if I wanted tickets. I asked if they could let me know if the deal became available again, and he said it was my responsibility to keep checking the website - they had no time for that. I asked if I could speak to his supervisor, and he said he was the highest up I could go. He said I could write a letter, and gave me the address, and then said it wouldn't do me any good, because that was the address to Customer Service, and I would get the same answer.

    I wrote the letter anyway and got NO response at all! I waited a full month, and not a peep. So I contacted the BBB. Groupon's response to the complaint was that they could not get Gpasses after the closing date. Again - no offer to contact the promoter. I now am without tickets, and so are my father, sisters and brothers-in-law. Groupon used to be a reputable company. Now, as you can easily see from the poor reviews and the complaints on their various Facebook pages and the BBB, they are crap.

    Purchased an offer for a 2 visit chiropractic/massage package that requires a scheduled appointment. As of today, I have been unable to speak to a human being to schedule an appointment. I have called numerous times, and have left a message, but still no response.     Dec. 13th, 2015, I received a gift card for my birthday. I went to Groupon to use it. Found 2 items and put them in the cart, created an account, a shipping address, and a billing address. Went to checkout and it kept saying, "You need billing information." It looked ok so I tried again. No go. Then I noticed that it was highlighting the credit card information. Well I didn't feel that I should have to put in a credit card if I was using a gift card that covered the whole purchase plus the shipping and taxes. Got hooked up to live chat and explained to Andrew ** that I couldn't get past the billing info. He was very vague and kept saying that I had to have billing information to send the order. I said I did. He looked at and came back and said, "But the shipping and the billing are different." I checked. They were the same.

    Finally noticed again that the credit card was still highlighted. I said to him, "It's asking for a credit card but my gift card covers everything." He said again, "You need billing info." At this point I was getting so frustrated with him and I said, "So what you are not saying is that I can't check out unless I give you a credit card. What if I don't have one? Some people don't." He finally admitted that I have to have a credit card to place an order even if I don't need to use it. What kind of thievery is that? I can go anywhere else with a gift card, even online, and create an account, and use my gift card without revealing my credit card. I've noticed they have many complaints.     Ordered 2 Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S4 phones. Took three weeks and all I finally received is one (not two) very Verizon LOCKED (not unlocked as listed) phone which is no used to me.     I never received the earrings that I ordered. I tracked it and it said it was delivered. They said that there was nothing that they could do and refused to offer me a refund or at the very least, a credit. I also never received a bracelet, but the tracking info showed that it was not delivered and for that I did receive a refund.     I started using GROUPON for my truck's oil changes and a few purchases of electronic items. The oil changes turn out to be repair magnetics to bring customers into repair shops so the shop technician can come up with other repairs they can overcharge you for. The electronic devices were cheaply made and did not last long. I also started using GROUPONS for dine out restaurants, boy what a mistake. Most restaurants have bad ratings outside GROUPON reviews and have certain requirements before the GROUPON is accepted. Be very careful using GROUPON.

    Groupon has the worst customer service. I was told yesterday that if my boots didn't arrive I would get a refund today. The boots did not arrive. I was on "virtual hold" for over 2 hours.     I had offered deals with Groupon for my business, and had sold 6 deals within the first day. So far each of the clients had not been giving the proper barcodes that identify their purchase. I've seen 3 clients so far and the 3rd client that had a print out for the purchased deal, wasn't supplied a barcode so I could cash in on the deal and collect my part of the financial commitment. I received an email now stating that they can't continue to allow me to post deals. So I suppose the last three deals that are outstanding the clients are out that original purchase. Also good luck talking to a representative from Groupon. Meaning you can never get through, and they never return emails. This company has horrible services for businesses.     I have been ripped off with Groupon purchases 3 times now. The first was buying a Groupon for a restaurant that was for $30.00 but the restaurant only honored $20 off. I purchased the dinners required and even got appetizers but we still lost money. At first, I figured it was the restaurant's issue but now I'm not so sure. The second time, I purchased concert tickets to see Sean Hook and the address to the location of the concert was wrong. I ended up in a bad part of town with my 13-year-old daughter at night in the dark. The most they did was refund my money when I was actually calling them to help us. We walked over an hour and a half in a commercial area we did not know in Toronto. We were terrified and Groupon offered no help. Not even directions from where we were to where we should go. Clearly we missed the concert and I spent the night consoling my crying scared daughter.

    This third time, I again purchased tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters to find out (I didn't read small print, you would think same account so put the tickets together but no) so my tickets are not seated together. Clearly I am not going to go as I am not going to sit in one side of a stadium and have my child sitting somewhere else with strangers. I did assume it was on my Groupon account so the tickets would be together... I would think that is common sense but unfortunately not. I have lost my money and I will never purchase anything from them EVER again! Definitely a buyer beware case!!!

Called and visited more than 7 times with 3 different branches in Central Jersey but they keep asking me to come back or call back. They said they don't have a supply for a/c cleaning.     Groupon solicited to sell me $70 credit vouchers to direct tools outlet. You could buy 2 for yourself and 2 as gifts so I bought 2 as gifts and specified them that way. I gave them as gifts and when the person drove over to use them they were told the codes on the vouchers were no good and there was nothing direct tools could do and that we needed to call Groupon to resolve the problem because they constantly have problems with Groupon vouchers being no good. So she called right then to Groupon and got a recording that there was a 2 hour hold time so she held on for 2 hours when the person answered finally she was hung up on very shortly.

    So she had to call back, 2 more hours on hold, got hung up on again, called back, another 2 hour hold, got hung up on a third time, a whole wasted and nothing resolved, so she called back in the morning and held for 1 hour and was told then the owner of the account had to call which was me so I did. Well my experience was very similar. First I was told nothing they could do, I would have call direct tools, then I was told would just issue a refund. I said, "No. I want what I paid for." Next refund was just issued without my permission and I was hung up on. The cc account it was issued to is closed so I got nothing.

    Called back got 2 hours of being switched person to person and told several times it was going to be fixed but it never was. So right now I am out the money I paid for 2 of these vouchers. A whole day fooling with this and the person I gifted them to is out a whole day plus gas for 2-45 minute drives. These vouchers expire in 10 days and Groupon is trying to wait me out for them to expire. They have totally scammed me and disrespected and wasted my time. I want my 2 $70 credits I paid for and that's all I am asking for. I will never do business with these crooks again!

    I got a refurbished Dyson DC65 Multi floor Vacuum a few days ago. It was a big shock for me when I just opened the box. The vacuum sent to me has a lot of scratches and other dirty things. There is even some kind of fibers stuck around a small wheel. The big ball and the handler has been worn out a lot. All these evidences indicate that the vacuum had been used for very long time (probably more than one year) before it was shipped to me.     Through Groupon, we purchased a package of two nights at the Adams Mark Hotel in Kansas City, MO that included 4 passes to their attached water park and $25 arcade credit each day. When we arrived, the hotel told us that Groupon only authorized our 2 night stay and did not authorize the 4 daily water park passes and $25 daily arcade play. We arrived on Thanksgiving night during an ice storm and the hotel did not have a supervisor to talk to, but they said 3 other families had checked in with the same problem, so we figured we would check it out in the morning. I immediately contacted Groupon. They were initially nice, but said we did not purchase the correct package. I then provided them proof from their own website that showed Groupon's claims were incorrect. After this, they refused to respond to us any longer.

    Our first room at the Adams Mark Hotel had numerous problems. The shower/tub in the bathroom looked like a big foot had vomited in it. We also found hair ties on the counters with others hair in them. We were given another room, but it lacked some furniture and wall art. Although it was a "non-smoking" room, it smelled like a cigar bar when we turned on the heat. The TV lacked many advertised channels. Others had such poor reception that they were not worth watching. On our second day, the hotel was without any electricity or heat for at least 4 hours. It was an awful experience over the Thanksgiving holiday. Groupon does not care. They do not deliver on even the most basic level.

    I purchased 2 tickets via Groupon to see the country superstars show in Las Vegas Nevada during my travels. The events "When" section read: Tuesday-Sunday 5:30 pm, Monday 7:30 pm through NOV 30th.     So let's get this straight. Groupon sells me tickets to a show that does not exist. I find out the show does not exist after the day of purchase when I am already traveling. I contact the venue & the venue acknowledges the error in show dates and leaves notes under my confirmation number so Groupon can verify the info & errors. Groupon denies my refund saying only that refunds are acceptable on day of purchase & Groupon does not accept any blame and/or errors. Groupon changes the show times under "When" section under the same Groupon that I purchased. In doing so Groupon acknowledges the error and corrects the mistakes although still not returning my funds. Groupon denies making any changes to the Country Super Stars page.

    The so called Supervisor named Michael ** in "customer service" was anything but helpful denying any wrongdoing. After reading up on Groupon, seems they change the wording after the fact however without ever giving any refunds. Needless to say, this is fraud. Save your time, take photos and screen shots of all purchases. Groupon lost 1 loyal customer.

    Do not call Groupon's customer service number (1 (888) 664-4482). It was just like speaking to an automated recording. Once you said a word or phrase, they would repeat exactly what was written down in front of them. I asked to speak with the manager and was first told they were in a very important meeting. Then once she went back to her automated recording ways, I asked the question again. Her answer changed to, the manager was out for the day. You ** Groupon.

    My husband tried ordering a Dyson vacuum cleaner thru Groupon. Somehow, Groupon declined his debit card twice. So he left it as it is and checked the cart was empty. He told me to order it thru my acct with the credit card instead and it went thru. He checked his bank and did not see Groupon charged his debit card so we thought it was cancelled since he did not receive e-mail from Groupon. Next day, he got an e-mail from them saying his purchase went thru and has been processed. He called Groupon to cancel this order and was told it is too late to cancel even it has not been shipped.

    He told them it was Groupon internal problem of not processing this the first two times and explained to them that I have ordered one too. So now we need to cancel this one and Groupon said we could only have 2 hours window to cancel the order after it is processed!! Two hours window?? Are you kidding me?? Do I really check my e-mails on our days off every 5 mins?? The order was not even shipped yet! And I can't cancel mine either because it passed two hours. And this is a non-refundable item. Therefore, we are going to get stuck with two vacuums!

    They wouldn't even let him speak to the supervisor even he demanded couple of times. They basically said there is nothing they will do for us except to take both items. This company is horrible! Everyone should watch out when they place the order, make sure they do not charge you double and cancel the transaction even it did not go thru. They will keep trying until it went thru and assumed you still wanted it and will not let you cancel the order even though it has not been shipped! Terrible business!

    I have recently purchased several items on Groupon and have been shocked at their utterly chintzy quality. For example, I bought three different children's toys that arrived loose in large mailing envelopes without boxes or instructions. Likewise, I purchased an IPhone lens kit which was missing one of the lenses, had no directions and the wording on the package made no sense whatsoever. The item must have been a manufacturer's packaging defect which no storefront could use so it was pawned off on unsuspecting Groupon customers.

    I contacted Groupon customer service for a refund or replacement and was told I had to return the incomplete product which was ludicrous because return shipping was more than the item was worth. DO NOT purchase from Groupon, it is a scam. Products are cheap, incomplete and look to be manufacturer defects and have packaging issues. Do yourself a favor and don't be seduced by marketing verbiage and inflated discounts, and shop on Amazon instead. Amazon has accurate discount amounts, excellent reduced prices, stands behind their product's quality and has much superior customer service.

    They sold a vacation that did not end up with the hotel advertised. It didn't even offer shampoo or soap in the bathroom and the site said it had many things it didn't. We were not put on tourists buses but local buses that stopped every minute to pick up and drop off people taking hours longer, no a/c which is promised on the Groupon site. After 3 bus rides over 5 hours long each without a/c and being asked to ride on top of the bus, we purchased flights while on the trip to avoid the bus and when we finally got home expecting Groupon to help us out they did nothing!

    We sent them emails showing that the company, Pacific Holiday would take days to respond to things we needed help with while we were on our trip and nothing. When I looked at the company's website page after returning from the nightmare of a trip they only had one star reviews. Groupon was a trusted site for me that I thought they would do some research on the agencies they sell to you. They are a terrible company that is dishonest in what they are selling and not willing to help when they sell something that turns out not to be what you paid for.

    I used Groupon for the first time ever. I installed the app on my phone, and it gave me a notification: $10 groupon bucks with a purchase of $20 or more. The app also gave me a $5 off on a purchase as well. So I went and purchased an item I was wanting. The $5 off was automatic, I could not have it removed. So I said, "Fine, I will just use the $5 off and get the groupon bucks." Nothing on the website or app said that I could use the coupon and not get groupon bucks.

    So here it is days later, and I am in a argument with customer service via email. They tell me that I received $5 off, that was my discount. Yes, I know about the $5 off, but what about my $10 groupon bucks? At this point I requested a supervisor to contact me back, but 2 days later nothing. I guess what I wrote in my last email is true: "Is Groupon going to go broke, giving my $10 groupon bucks I was promised? It is the right thing to do." In conclusion, just pay the extra money and get the purchase off a legitimate website.

    There is a three piece luggage set being advertised for 79.99. When I clicked on it, I found that was not the case. The three piece set was 249.99. I spoke to customer service who contacted the department that was responsible for posting the deals online. The wording was then changed but they refused to honor the price saying it was a third party merchant and it was out of their hands. The call was originally with Michelle ** who escalated to a supervisor by the name of Helen. I was then advised that the manager Rich does not speak to customers and I needed to write to their customer service department in Chicago. Needless to say this is bad business and I will go back to Amazon.

    The redemption code emailed to me was for TWO tickets to an event. I use the code on the actual event website and I am still being charged for one more ticket (I put in two tickets as instructed). I call customer service and spoke to a man who asked me if I actually followed the directions. What an insult! OF COURSE I DID. So he explains he will transfer me to the actual venue, as it is an issue with their website. He transfers me, TO ANOTHER GROUPON ASSOCIATE, one OVERSEAS no less. INFURIATING.     I purchased a Groupon in May 2015 for digital scanning services from SouthTree in Chattanooga, TN. It had to be used within 6 months and had an expiration date of 11/5/15. I used the Groupon to send some 35mm slides to SouthTree on 10/28/15 - a week before the Groupon expired. I received the scans back on 11/11/15 and they were terrible (washed out, bad color, dust and dirt spots on them, etc.). I complained to SouthTree and sent examples and they agreed that they didn't do a good job and offered to re-do them.

    After reading so many reviews of SouthTree losing so many people's original photos, tapes, etc., I didn't want to send my slides back to them and requested a refund. They refunded my shipping costs, but told me I that because I had used a Groupon, I would have to request a refund from Groupon. After trying by email, online chat, and telephone - Groupon refuses to issue a refund BECAUSE THEY CONSIDER MY GROUPON TO BE EXPIRED - even though I used it before it expired.

    Apparently, I would have had to request a refund within 14 days of USING the Groupon, even though I didn't get the scans back from SouthTree to know how bad they were until exactly 14 days after I used the Groupon. Be aware that Groupon's expiration date doesn't mean you have to USE it by then... It means that anything related to that order (including a refund request) has to be done before that date!

    I waited on hold for 15 minutes; I called because I was getting nowhere when I tried to schedule a massage I purchased through Groupon. I feared the business had closed.     I ordered a product from Groupon that should have contained two items. When I finally received the package there was an item missing. I contacted Groupon customer service and they told me to send them a picture of the empty box. What? I told them the box was fine. I just wanted the missing item sent to me as I had paid in full. They then told me that this was a final purchase and I could not return the item! I told them ONCE AGAIN I didn't want the item returned. I wanted the MISSING items sent to me. They told me once again to take a picture of the empty box and send it to some customer service mailbox... I asked them what on earth this would prove and why are they making this so difficult?

    I for one do own a smartphone or a digital camera so it's impossible for me to take a picture and sent it to this email address. Then they told me there was nothing more they could so without the picture! I asked for a supervisor at that point and they told me it's not their policy to allow me to speak with one of the supervisors...a total waste of money. It's like I threw $20 in the trash. Luckily it was only $20. But now it's the principle of the matter and I don't want anyone else throwing their hard earned money away dealing with Groupon. All I can say is buyer beware.     I am using Groupon/Nearbuy from last few weeks & was finding it interesting. Yesterday I purchased a deal for Cafe Cruise in Rajouri for some 8 domestic drinks & 2 starters. Me & my friend spent some 3-4 hours & ordered 1 platter & 1 hukka other than the deal from there. The food quality was worst & need to be inspected & tested thoroughly & I can say so, so surely because while coming back, we both started feeling dizziness. My friend's legs started trembling later & she even fainted in metro. This happened when I already deboarded the metro. Even I started feeling unwell on the way to my place & after reaching home fell asleep like I was unconscious.

    Not sure if this is some intentional act by the people of Cafe Cruise, Rajouri Garden or in the extreme case Groupon/Nearbuy is also involved. But this need to be tackled very seriously. Food quality should be inspected even through FCI or any other agency. Drinks they are serving should be tested. Service agents' integrity should be checked. We were in the end safe but this may not be the case everybody going there.

I then contacted Groupon customer service. It took them almost 24 hours to respond, although they stated it would be 4 hrs or less. They then said they would contact the business and give them my contact info, and to wait 3 business days for the business to contact me. No contact.     Dec. 2014, purchased 4 tickets to "Paint Nite" for $24.74 each good for 1 class normally $45. Intended to use for next year holidays. Verified expiration was 12 months. I tried to redeem one in Oct. 2015, but was asked to pay another $20, or full price for the class ($45). They claimed the coupons expired. The same deal was still running. I contacted Groupon several times and got the runaround. I did not ask for a refund, just a credit so I could repurchase. They would not credit and "Paint Nite" still wants me to pay $45 per class.     This was a horrible experience. They advertise their item as "Ships in 2 days" but it took 9 days to ship from NY (although the shipping label was created in 2 days) and it took 12 days to arrive in CO from the purchase date. They advertised the tablet as "unlocked for Verizon and all GSM carriers, including AT&T and T-Mobile" and the tablet I received was locked to Verizon, not accepting a T-mobile SIM card. Contacting the customer service did not help expediting the shipping at all, since it could be too late when it would arrive.

    If you try to call their support number they are actually trying to hid their contact number and they only give you a contact form and FAQ on their website, so I had to google their number and find it on some other website. On Groupon website (as opposed to Amazon) you cannot contact the seller, you cannot rate the seller, you don't even know who the seller is. I tried to post a review and they never published it. In fact, they claim having sold over 60 of that item and they are not showing a single review about it. Not a single review. You wonder why? I am certain every single review has been horrible.

    Finally, since the purchase date they have been flooding my mailbox with dozens of junk ad emails each day and following the "unsubscribe" link in them would still keep me on many other mailing categories. I just tried to unsubscribe from all through my account and I hope they will finally stop sending those emails because I will never ever purchase anything from Groupon.

    I purchased on Groupon 1 week at True Blue Resort. Although confirmed in the order and in description none of the pools was open. After returning home I contacted Groupon customer service and informed them that I didn't receive what I paid for. After 3 weeks and almost 20 emails with different customer service representatives the Groupon Getaways customer support manager responded: 'I am not able to assist any further with your particular request and we consider this issue resolved.'     In Feb 2015 I paid for a trip to Punta Cana, D.R. for a trip in Oct 2015. I selected the upgrade king size that was $500 extra. When I arrived I was given the standard 2 queen beds. I called Groupon to see if they could fix it and was hung up on by the 1st person I spoke to, and after calling back and requesting to speak to a manager they connected me to a manager named John **. My legal representative tried to request a invoice instead of the "MODIFIED RECEIPT" they have stored online and he was repeatedly hollered and screamed at by this so called manager who refused to connect us to his supervisor, and also refused to offer any information to anyone of superiority besides him.

    When asked how much the king size room was he said the offer was no longer available so he can't locate it. Come to find out the resort I stayed at offers standard rooms only. Then he told my legal rep. his name was Thurman **. After rudely screaming and disrespecting my rep for 15 minutes we asked to file a complaint and he refused to give us a email address or phone #. He offered us an address to a building in Chicago that is only use to receive mail only, which means it's a building with no one there to check the mail. I've used them about 5-10 times before through other people but I will NEVER use Groupon again. BEWARE OR YOU WILL LEARN THE HARD WAY LIKE I DID.

    On October 10, 2015 I ordered a phone case for my new iPhone 6s, not wanting to ruin a brand new product. So, thinking I could save hundreds by spending 10, I purchased a gear beast case. However, I can truthfully say that on the day I'm writing this review, my product hasn't arrived. I went on the Groupon site under My Groupons and it said that my product had been shipped from Sudbury MA to Fontana CA to be distributed. The package arrived in California on the 13th, and they had it out on the 14. The package was in my home state (Georgia) by the 16th, and according to UPS Track My Package, on my doorstep by the 17th.

    Literally a week later, I'm still without my product, which I had already paid for. This would've all been relatively ok (as 12 dollars isn't that much money), but the customer service representative for Groupon was extremely unhelpful, and wouldn't even give me the info I came for. UPS simply needs to get me my package. Also, my brother, who ordered his package the same day, got his before I got mine (we live in the same location, his package was delivered by US Postal Service). Never ordering from Groupon again.

    I am a voracious Groupon shopper. I purchased some goods on Groupon at 6:30 am, Eastern time. I was unable to cancel my order within 10 minutes. I called the customer service but prompted me to call back at 8 am Central time. I end up calling them at 8: 45 am Central time (I work in the hospital and had to take calls) and guess what? They refused to cancel the order because it was more than 2 hours!!! They should either open the customer service 24/7 or should be able to cancel the order within 12 hours or something.     Have been buying different variety of merchandise from them since past 2 years. Just recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S5 which arrived almost after one month. Upon unboxing, it was observed there were two scratches and one dent on the side panels of the phone. The phone battery could not hold charge for more than 4 to 5 hours as would deplete completely by then after a full charge. Called and spoke to Groupon Customer service who apologized and said they'll have someone look into this right away and get back ASAP.     I made a purchase with Groupon for a hotel booking at Venice Beach for my California trip. When I showed up to the hotel I couldn't believe what I saw! It was a dump and it was in the middle of homeless people rummaging through garbage. Not how I wanted to start off my vacation! I didn't get out of my car because I was actually afraid to! When I got back from my trip, I contacted Groupon to notify them and asked them what they can do for me. Their response... NOTHING! The hotel said I was a no show so they couldn't do anything about it! How can a company expect the public to trust them when they cannot even provide a solution? Previous to this experience, I ordered a fair number of products from them and their vendors, but I do not trust that the quality of vendors anymore. Shame on you Groupon!     Purchased 6 sets of their advertised Swarovski Elements Crystal Studs in the 1CTTW setting. Received the studs within a week but they were nowhere near the 1CTTW setting! When I questioned them about sending the right size they advised that I'd just have to return the studs because they don't do trades.     As a Canadian, I did notice the subtle mention that the prices were in USD. However, I was so excited for the HILTON HOTEL AND SUITES NIAGARA FALLS/FALLSVIEW getaway package that I did not fully calculate what the exchange rate would have been. As such, the one night for the FALLS-VIEW KING JACUZZI STUDIO came to $176.11 USD, which later appeared on my VISA as $235.84. Upon arrival to the Hilton, our room did have a Queen/King sized bed, in an old room with multiple ceiling cracks and a hole at the back of the Jacuzzi tub which was located in the back corner of the room within the washroom itself, and the view was a tiny sliver of a section of the Falls if you close the curtains around the rest of the room.

    If you utilize TripAdvisor or trust the comments about this getaway on the Groupon website, you will be led to believe that you will be staying in a Jacuzzi King Studio room, where there is an optimal King sized bed and a Jacuzzi in the middle of the room with a great view of the Falls. We were very disappointed with our stay and our bill. Upon searching for a room even on the actual Hilton website, it would have been less expensive to have booked the room outside of Groupon. After speaking with the hotel, they stated the room we were staying in was in fact a King Jacuzzi Studio-Falls View, not what is actually depicted on the Groupon or Hilton websites. Furthermore, upon discussion with Groupon, they hold no accountability for any exchange rates between USD and CDN funds. Thus, I will be boycotting Groupon in the future and if you don't want to have a negative experience that is NOT WORTH THE MONEY, I advise that you should too.

    Purchased a 2 night stay hotel in San Francisco. When placing the order it didn't state that it was a non-refundable purchase. It says that it had to be cancelled before the 31st of October which is the date I was supposed to arrived at the Hotel. I wanted to change the dates so I could go another time or even just move the date one day and customer service was very rude.     Lone Star Pro (duct cleaning) scheduled visits twice, no-showed twice. There is no answer or call back from company. After their first missed visit they redeemed my Groupon. They have an online scheduling system where they probably set it up to take your money. I scheduled 10/11/15 at 8 am. When I logged onto my email they had rescheduled me (at 6 am) for later that day when I was not going to be home. I emailed them this information immediately. No response. Finally got hold of local number of who said they would be providing service on 10/15/15. No show, no call. Guess they do this kind of bait and switch as a way to pull in a few dollars when they don't have the ability to actually give service.

    I ordered a set of headphones from a Groupon which listed it as "Never expires". I never cashed the voucher as it was the first time I used a Groupon and I didn't understand how the voucher worked. I recently purchased a different Groupon and saw the old headphone Groupon voucher in My Groupons. I tried to use the voucher for it but they will not honor their two words "never expires". The supervisor told me "it has been too long". After arguing for quite a while with the representative and then the supervisor, I was continually told it had been too long. If I asked 1000 people what is meant by the 2 words "NEVER EXPIRES" I will get 1000 responses that will be the same. It means NEVER. Not according to Groupon though. They use the most ** Shipping company name CRST STI to ship your products. You can't talk to any supervisor, and you have to deal with the shipping company to resolve your shipment. I bought a Sealy mattress optimum 2.0 in September 9th and been working on my delivery date with the shipping company for 3rd time now and the 3rd delivery schedule is Oct 13th.     I have been a faithful Groupon customer from the day they started. I've made well over 75 purchases with them and to date I've been satisfied for the most part. All of that changed today!!! I purchased 9 pair of sunglasses today for $16.99. When purchasing the sunglasses I realized that they were below the going rates for this particular brand, but I thought it was a sale. Hours after I made the purchase I was sent 9 emails stating that the sunglasses "were out of stock". I find this hard to believe that all of the styles of these glasses were "mysteriously" no longer available. I believe the glasses are absolutely in stock. They just refused to honor the price quoted for the sunglasses. Had this been in a store and not online where there is no way to tell if they're really out of stuff they would have to honor the price that was advertised. It's bad and dishonest business practices.

    I would've had more respect had they just told the truth that they made an error and they won't be able to sell them for that price but to tell a blatant lie is just plain wrong. To make matters worst I wasn't even offered anything just to say "I'm sorry for our error". When I called customer service I was basically told "Sorry there's nothing we can do for you". Well sorry to say I will never shop at a place who doesn't respect nor appreciate their customers. Groupon has lost a very good customer today. I have literally spend thousands with this company, but that all ended today. I'll take my business someplace else where they respect and appreciate their customers.

    They don't have a wish list. You have to put everything into a shopping cart to hold onto it. I close my iPad and it purchased everything in my shopping cart. I didn't say purchase or press purchase. Their website is flawed. They send an email out and you have to respond within two hours. Like we're online 24/7 and it's hooked up into our brain. Not.     Delivery stated 7 working days. 14 days later I am still waiting and my parcel for the UK is still in Belgium. When contacting Groupon they say it has been dispatched and the delay was due to a logistical error. My second parcel that I purchased 4 days ago is awaiting dispatch. When I contacted them after 2 days to complain about the non delivery of the first parcel so wanted to cancel they said they couldn't do anything and I would have to wait for the second parcel to be received and then send it back - despite it not even being dispatched yet. I have today received the tracking information where they state the parcel has been dispatched. When checking on the status of the delivery it states no delivery is available at the moment. Customer service is rubbish and do not want to help at all, just fob you off so if you have any issues then just say goodbye to your money as you won't get the item or a refund!

    Just because a website used mediocre code frameworks to make the website look nice and legit doesn't mean it is. This website has scammed me and many others out of an actual deal that it promises people. I ordered a sofa here and never received it and after a month of waiting, called Groupon.     I know when it expires! You apparently did not read my message. I will no longer support Groupon, because Groupon does not clearly state when something is not the norm. The average Groupon is valid for between 90 and 180 days. If it is drastically different from that you should make it clearer, such as BOLD or RED print. Is this something you can understand? I would like a refund or credit for this since I do not live in New Orleans and cannot use it until November. I have never had a customer service representative respond to any issues from any company that did not first make sure they understand what my issue was. Until now! Congrats Groupon! You have no clue.

    Groupon offered $52 for cut, color & blow-dry. I paid it and went for service. Notice on desk said "tips were not valid on charge cards & were based on full amount of service."     They deduct refunds and 30-50% on deals and pay the service provider the remaining. Which is not the problem... the problem is they are trying to act like a 3rd party credit card processor and they send you a 1099 K at the end of the year for the entire amount to the merchant (their client/business owner). So I got a lovely notice from IRS stating I owed 4k in taxes. They reported 95K when they only paid me 58K, so IRS is trying to tax me on the entire 95K. So now I have to amend my taxes, because I reported the misc funds in my Gross receipts and IRS wants to add the entire amount. I tried to call, email and talk to their (Groupon), department that would handle this and they wouldn't' reissue a corrected copy. This is how they file and they expect us to deduct their % and refunds as a business expense on our Schedule C. If they were the actual credit card processor, which they are not, then they could do this.

    Groupon's "rules" are rewritten by their staff so don't believe the section that states/ makes them look like a credit card processor. They are not a credit card processor. They are the 2nd party not the 3rd. They are tax deducting the entire amount and making the merchant pay the taxes. Which means they are evading taxes; not paying tax on the funds they retained from us. I'm getting a business tax attorney and filing a class action suit against them.

    I bought a Groupon for a massage. Never did it say in the fine print that this company was only open on Monday and Tuesday, and wouldn't take appointments after 3 pm. I work, like most people. This is not doable for me. When I called the company, they told me to call Groupon for a refund. I bought the Groupon on May 31 and the voucher is good until Sept 29. I tried everything but Groupon's customer service online is like a maze and there is no way to find them. I don't think they want me to call them. I would even be happy with an exchange of some kind, or a credit. Groupon, where are you?? I called, but they're not there after a certain time. They asked for my password on the phone.     Purchased a Garmin GPS ad stated the unit was new with a one year warranty. After the order was placed I received an order confirmation stating the item was new in the item description. Also received tracking information with an item description saying the item was new. A few days later when checking my Groupon account the item was listed as purchased but the description now says Refurbished.

    Going back looking at the ad from which I made the purchase, the one year warranty had been changed to 90 days. Sent emails to Groupon and they say the ad says refurbished with a 90 day warranty. Tried contacting the merchant with no luck. Left a bait and switch review which was removed from the Groupon site but the merchant finally emailed saying he checked the ad and it clearly states the item is refurbished with a 90 day warranty. Of course, it does. He changed it after the sale. I have seen many scams but this takes the cake.

    Have used Groupon a few time and only 1 time was ok. The last was for The Vineyard at Florence Hawaii night and wow what a ripoff. I suggest staying away from both of these companies. Both the tickets stated night of fun, pig roast, wine tasting, etc. Said good for admission. Well yes good to just walk in the door. Everything else cost. Nowhere did it mention this. Drove over 2 hours rt and was so mad. But Groupon says it said admission. Yes it did but also said wine tasting, pig roast etc...     I bought a Groupon for a shotgun experience and was unable to schedule an appt according to the Groupon website so I emailed Groupon, which I have done in the past and was satisfied with their help. Except this time, I was contacted by the someone named Valli, who obviously did NOT read my original complaint and sent me some pre-typed response. I asked to have someone else aid me in scheduling an appointment to which they sent me another pre-typed response, which again did not help me with my problem or in any way highlight the trouble I was having with this business. So Valli did not want to try to contact the company, the next email I received was a refund for the Groupon. I didn't purchase the Groupon to have it refunded with no effort made on Groupon's part.     Unfortunately my mam had a serious cancer scare and wasn't able to go on a trip bought with Groupon. We rang customer services and explained calmly what had happened and asked for a refund or a longer time schedule to visit. They simple didn't take this serious and basically blamed it on us.     Groupon is posting a business listing of my company that misleads people to thinking that I offer Groupon discounts. I very specifically choose not to market through Groupon and do not wish to have my business name associated with them at all. They had us listed as a day spa doing beauty treatments.     If you get a bad charge on your CC from these folks, good luck getting it resolved. The people that communicate with you are robots pretty much. They follow certain email template. They don't even read your email before they answer you. They just send you a generic email. Probably to discourage further complaints. They promised to put back a bad charge to my account which I believed them and thought the matter was closed. Well a month later when I scanned my statement, the credit was NOT there. These people are absolutely ridiculous in their way of customer service and handling of your money. I will never buy from them again.

    I ordered two items to be shipped to my address which previously I updated over a year and a half ago. The billing address and credit card was updated way before I placed the order. The orders, however, both shipped to a 2-year old address. I contacted them BEFORE they shipped but was told by multiple service reps that since it was not within 2 hours of placing the order, they could not change the address or refund me. But it was THEIR mistake, and the items hadn't even shipped yet! I brought this to their attention, and they came back with this candid reply (both on the phone and by live chat) saying how I could've updated my shipping address to the correct one before I placed my order... Even though I had JUST told them my shipping address WAS updated BEFORE I placed my order.

    I just got canned responses over and over again like they weren't even listening, just waiting for me to stop talking so they could say their paragraph and be done with the call. No offer of re-sending to correct address, refund, even coupon code for future purchase, NOTHING helpful. Then to top it off they ask if there's anything else they can help me with? No, especially since you were incredibly unhelpful with THIS! After spending probably close to a thousand dollars on Groupons in the past, I will never use it again after this experience on a $30 order. And they don't care at all. Shame on you Groupon. And shame on you people that live at my old address that decided to keep my orders!

    Consumers beware. Groupon has the worst customer service. They play games and act like they are trying to help but the truth is, they are doing the exact opposite. You make a purchase and it doesn't go through so you buy the item somewhere else, just to find out the sale when through hours later. 2:30 am to be exact.     On July 13 I purchased a Groupon to have my sofa cleaned. I called A+ Air Care LLC to schedule the appointment and received no answer. I left a voice message and waiting for a response. After not receiving a response after one week later I contacted the company and left a second message. Two days later I received a call from a technician who scheduled it for two weeks later. When the technician arrived he looked at the sofa and stated that he was not able to clean it due to the fact that it was microfiber.

    I then asked him how I could retrieve my refund and he stated simply, "Call Groupon and they will happily refund your money." I contacted customer support and they stated that they could not refund my money due to the fine print that states nothing about fine print.     Customer Service department is terrible, they will not speak to you in person, only via email. Even through email it takes them 5+ days to respond. I have been requesting a refund on a hotel booking I made, when I arrived to check into the hotel with my family of 4 the room was not available. I booked a double queen, the hotel only had a room with one bed available. Check in time was 3, I waited until 3:30 and the room was still not available. When I requested to speak to the manager at the hotel I was told by the receptionist that he was not there and she didn't know when he was coming back. I told the receptionist that was unacceptable, and that my family of 4 could not share one bed. I paid for a room with double beds and that's what I expected.

    Groupon continues to run me in circles and is not willing to give me a refund. This business should be shut down, they are stealing from unsuspecting customers and leaving them in vulnerable situations. Who else can I turn to in order to get my money back? There is no penalties for what they are doing to consumers and it's absolutely unacceptable. The hotel is telling Groupon that I never arrived at the hotel to check in which is a complete lie. I have attached the print out that the hotel gave me proving that I was there and that I booked a room with double beds.
