Constant problems with not getting product or customer service telling me they can’t refund. I am done. Deleted app won't buy anything from them again and will not recommend to anyone. Just terrible! You will not get any help regardless of problem. Screw them!

I recently purchased some concerts tickets from Groupon, as I was finalizing my order I realized that I had clicked on the wrong location. It was a matter of minutes when I contacted the customer service center, not to cancel my order but to try and correct it. The agent replied "sorry. It's in the fine print. No refunds", again wasn't asking for a refund just the right location. She then replied, "Perhaps a family member could use them." They are of no help at all and then just dismiss your concerns. I am out $120.00 dollars.

Bought a Groupon during one of their sales when there is no promo code and the price is just marked down. They incorrectly charged me for the original price and when I contacted Groupon, their only solution was to give me the difference in Groupon bucks (I wanted it refunded to my cc which they apparently can't do) or to cancel my order and refund me completely. The first customer service rep suggested to cancel the order and re-purchase the Groupon. I did this and the same thing happened. I didn't get charged the sale price but the original price.
I contacted customer service again and they were not able to help again, offering only the same solution again. When I asked to speak to a manager, the rep didn't respond and completely ignored me. He didn't end the chat but just left me hanging. Extremely dissatisfied in the level and lack of customer service. Can't even explain how upset I am. Beware, Groupon is not always the best deal, especially when they try to trick you and steal your money.

I ordered five, items and I only got 4... The items show delivered, but all five items on your tracking system have the same tracking number. When they were shipped separately and the four packages I have have different tracking numbers. Do not order anything from them. YOU HAVE NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT... YOU ARE UNABLE TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THEM.

Truly awful experience. They sold me a parking pass at a rate higher than the seller. The Terms and conditions clearly stated that I can cancel at any time before the date of service. However, the agent refused to issue a refund, even though I contacted him right after I made the reservation, and 3 days before the service. He ended the chat abruptly, and I could not cancel the reservation. Never again.

I purchased a Groupon for a great deal on an all inclusive resort in Cancun for a family vacation. I called beforehand to verify the flight charge for an extra 2 children. I was quoted pricing of an additional 749.00 in total. After purchasing the Groupon I called back and was told that Groupon should not be selling the 6 night option since it was a mistake. I called Groupon. They promised to look into it. I never heard back. I called to book it again since it was still on Groupon being offered and I was quoted additional fees of $2502.00 for airfare upcharges (we did not request any flight changes or times, etc. this was just because they undercharged the airfare to start with) and the extra children including a lap infant. SCAM! Now they will not refund my one Groupon since I viewed it to start booking the vacation. Both of these companies (Groupon and Vacation Express) should be ashamed. This is not good business practice.

We booked a holiday with Groupon to Italy, visiting 2-locations. The travel company supplying the holiday was Weekender Breaks, who pretty much ripped us off, with flight bookings that wouldn't connect with the follow-on rail travel. They made us pay extra charges to change the original flights. The follow-on train travel then turned out to be on a 1-way ticket only, with no ticket to get back. Extra costs were liable for the return journey to allow us to get back again. There were also issues about the original hotel booking, so a very bad experience overall. Avoid Groupon and their holiday companies like Weekender Breaks.

☠️ “BUYER BEWARE” ☠️. If the vendor doesn’t produce the service or goods you're out of luck! Groupon has a no refund policy, pays a lot of lip service but leaves you high and dry!!! In other words you're out of pocket, say goodbye to your money!!! Much of what is listed isn’t a deal to begin with! Save yourself a great deal of aggravation, not to mention your money and go anywhere but here! I’m out $465.00.

I accidentally purchased wrong tickets and yes I agree that it was in the fine print that I could not cancel but it was less than 20 mins and they would not refund. Before making the purchase I also chatted with the agent and he/she did not tell me I was looking at wrong tickets and I just ended up wasting $80. Not only that I was on Ticketmaster and the same tickets are for $20 and I paid $30 each. I AM NEVER buying anything on Groupon EVER again.

Groupon does not help with vendor issues. Mail order is the biggest problem. I can't even get Groupon to contact me. Metal Unlimited offered a sign at $19.95 but when I entered the code, etc., they want $39.95. If this is not straightened out, it will "time out" and I will lose everything. Similar problem with a child's book. Items I have received include a set of sheets with a hole in the top sheet and pillowcases that are too small for my pillows; bracelet that was not the one I ordered was sent to me.

The last 3 deals I purchased on Groupon have had misleading or incomplete information. When I contacted Groupon the first time, they flat out refused to issue a credit or a refund even though their vague language created the miscommunication. I'm still out money on that deal. As a "helpful" suggestion, they told me to gift it to someone else, as if I did not spend actual money on it and gifting this for no reason is totally fine. The second time, they issued a Groupon credit, refused to issue a refund. In that situation the Groupon they offered was a spa experience, when I called the "spa" they informed me that they only have 1 masseuse a day and very limited availability.
Third purchase, which I just had the pleasure of realizing was also a dupe, is a couple's massage that is being touted around as "Valentine's Day deal". I read the deal. I read the fine print. Typical jargon, nothing specific about blackout dates. I called to make an appointment (AFTER VALENTINE'S DAY NO LESS) and learn that they have a blackout date between Feb 9-19... there isn't a single word about this anywhere on the Groupon. Groupon policy change and went from decent customer service to total garbage. I've lost so much money trying to use their deals that I don't think I'm going to try using them anymore. Full price is more worthwhile than dealing with these crooks.

In January 16 & 18 2018, I ordered spiral 5 notebooks ($5-$7 each) for a group of young ladies in an organization that helps with the tools for a better life. Yesterday 2/5/2018 I confirmed that I did not receive the books, nor did the organization. I contacted Groupon via chat, because they do not allow calls and they advised me that I had to complete the process with a voucher on the merchant's website. I did and there was a large balance, I stopped and contacted Groupon and they advised that I had to complete all of the steps and when in check out I would get the voucher credit and the balance would be zero. That never happened.
I was charged $117.96 and $124 for 5 spirals notebooks, plus the original $70 when Groupon that I paid in January. I reached out to Groupon today and now, I am not able to get them on chat. When I try to cancel my order, they loop me around to use my voucher# to process my payment. Very deceiving and I will never use Groupon again. Groupon has gotten into a horrible practice of ripping people off.

Sought numerous times to obtain refund for 3 Rusty Wallace Driving Experience. Customer service and upper management refused to consider refund because 3 day voucher refund window had passed (I requested at about 8 days). Kept saying "Our policy doesn't allow us to consider this." Ad on Groupon said "expires Aug. 10" leading one to believe it must be use sometime prior to that date and there would be multiple dates from which to choose. Not the case. There is ONE date on which it can be used, Aug. 10. Secondly, when vouchers were received it stated they must be redeemed within 90 days making me think that meant it had to be USED within 90 days.
Since I purchased these in January and we live in Michigan, the tracks aren't even open by mid-April so held off opening the vouchers so as not to activate them prematurely. Apparently it meant you must sign up for the "experience" within 90 days to go on Aug. 10. How misleading is that? Obviously Groupon believes in Policy before People, which is so contrary to other companies. So I am out about $240 because they will not bend because they "must adhere to policy" and not extend refunds beyond the times listed. (3 days vouchers, 14 days goods), regardless that their advertisements are misleading and confusing. I used to be a strong Groupon consumer and even recommended it to family and friends but that ends right now. I am done with Groupon because they care more about their policy than people. I hope you'll steer clear of them too.

I’ve been trying to get ahold of a Groupon Rep for about 3 weeks and had no luck. There’s practically no customer service available. Finally the rep responded to my email after I found her initial email in my spam folder when I logged in to start the sign up process. Surprisingly she responded with an apology that she was out with the flu and that emailing her would be the best and fastest way to get ahold of her. I was relieved because the platform isn’t user friendly and my Groupon offer was put in incorrectly with no way to fix it.
She said she would help me, asked me a few questions and then disappeared. I got no response after that and haven’t been able to reach her since by phone or email. Now I have a vague and incomplete business advertisement that’s running on Groupon that I’m unable to fix, plus it’s getting views but no purchases because of the errors that I can’t fix and there’s no one to talk to! This is utterly ridiculous! How is this company still in operation? They need to be shut down.

Look at my bank account and I have been charged the $26.00. Chatted with someone from Groupon and he tells me he is going to give me Groupon Bucks for $6.50. I do not want Groupon Bucks, I want my cash back. Says he can't do that. So I canceled that order and chatted with another and told him that I had canceled the order and to remove the Groupon Bucks as it is only fair in which he did.
I ordered from Hungarian Rhapsody again that same day (2/3/18) thinking maybe I did something wrong. Entered the promo code of SAVE25 to save $6.50. Look at my bank account and I have been charged $26.00 again. And instead of it automatically giving me my credit, I have to write Groupon!!! They are committing a fraud!!! Nowhere on there does it say the savings will be issued in Groupon Bucks and that I have to CONTACT SOMEONE to get the CREDIT!!! That is dishonesty to its finest!!! I DO NOT WANT GROUPON BUCKS, I WANT MY CARD THAT I PAID WITH CREDITED $6.50!!! So, I contact Groupon again on 2/5/18 and this time the representative is telling me to cancel the second order and order again and enter another promo code to get an even bigger discount which means more Groupon Bucks. That means they have received money from me for nothing! And afterwards their site says that I can get my money back in 14 days without any reason. But first they said that I need confirmation from GoMundo, contacting them is so difficult, they do not answer mail and it takes half an hour until they pick up the phone! I have sent the confirmation twice to Groupon and now after a lot of calling and mailing and days passed, I have received an email that I have to wait 5 days until they find a solution. I recently purchased some tickets to a local event. The following day I realized I needed to switch to a different date thus I needed to contact Groupon customer support. Over the past few years Groupon has made it more and more difficult to deal with their Customer Service department. They have since removed their toll-free call in # and rather, force you to use their awful chat support. When I was finally able to get a hold of an agent, the amount of time it took this person to answer simple questions was unacceptably slow. Because their customer support has been outsourced, the agent had a difficult time understanding what I was trying to request from him.
Finally, in frustration I terminated the chat and revisited the website requesting a callback from Customer Support (expected wait time 1 hour). I finally received a callback from an agent and I was told by Groupon that the future showings were sold out and they are unable to issue me a refund or a credit. This has not been the case in the past, I have been in similar situations years ago where Groupon was willing to offer me credit (Groupon "bucks") and in some cases a refund.
I will no longer be doing business with this company and I encourage others to do the same. Although you may find the occasional "bargain" if there are issues with your purchase Groupon has taken a firm stance on not offering refunds or trade-ins. This company no longer seems to care about the customer, as they once did, as evidenced by their abysmal "customer service" process and the fact they flat out refuse to offer refunds now.

We then started researching other hotels and we clicked on one for 150 a night and since the website wouldn't load we clicked again and it booked the hotel. So we were being charged for a hotel we didn't want.
So we go on a chat room with a tech and she told us there was nothing she could do because the cancellation window had passed even though that deadline was the day we accidentally booked it. She kept saying wait 1-2 business days. She was using talking points, not really trying to understand the problem. I purchased a Groupon deal to stay at the Queen Kapi'olani Hotel in Waikiki. A very short while later, I found out that I would not be able to stay that night at the hotel, so I immediately contacted Groupon that I needed to cancel my order. The cancellation policy said that I had to cancel within 4 days before checking-in, in order to get a full-refund. I canceled it within the 4 day window, so I was pretty-confident that I would get a refund. I didn't hear back from Groupon until a couple days later, telling me they were requesting the hotel to give me a refund.
I also called them, and one of Groupon's customer service representatives ensured me that I would get a full-refund, but since their office closed on the weekends, I would have to wait until next week to get my money back. I asked him repeatedly, "Are you sure I can get a full-refund?" and he said, "Yes, I'm certain you will." So, we relied on his promise and didn't go to the hotel to stay that weekend, because Rad assured me I would get a refund and it was canceled.
Today, I got an email from Groupon that "there was nothing they could do," that I could not get my money back, and since my trip date had already passed, I also couldn't use the Groupon for the amount I paid to stay a different night. I called Groupon again, spoke with Rad - he told me he would check on it, put me on-hold for about 10 minutes, and then dropped my call. After about 20 minutes of no call-back, I called them again, and spoke to another girl who told me "there is nothing they can do," and I can't get any money back, nor will they let me stay a different night to make use of the money I paid.
I would have tried my best to make use of the Groupon if their customer representative didn't tell me I could get my money back. Instead, they basically tricked me into throwing away my nearly $200, and then told me there was "nothing they could do about it" to help me in any way. Groupon is a lying, unprofessional, scamming, disorganized, and uncaring company. They don't care about their customers at all, and I requested that they permanently delete my account. They don't respond. What a SCAM!!! Will report to Better Business Bureau. My husband has an account with them, with zero balance and never made a purchase with them nor used this account like I did and his account is still on. Haven't used my Groupon account in about a year and now I find this out. Apparently I'm not the only one! So disappointed.

Poor customer service and poor refund options. Groupon's response does not resolve their customer service issues. First, I ordered approx $109 worth of product on Dec 3rd. Groupon claims that the package was processed and delivered from Illinois to Indianapolis on Dec 5th. That would mean that the package was processed and delivered in 2 days. I know that they did not deliver the item in 2 days as it was not processed as 2 day delivery mail service.
Second, when I attempted to advise Groupon that the package was not delivered, I noticed they do not provide a telephone number to contact Groupon and they do not have any clear way on their website to inform Groupon that the package did not arrive or that the package is lost. One would think that on the listing of orders made, one choice for the consumer should be to report a lost or not received item. They have what they call a chat line, which is extremely hard to locate. However, the "chat" is not a live chat, but instead it is an email message that the consumer sends to Groupon.
Groupon did not call me back for any clarity or discussion. Instead, Groupon wrote me an email indicating that my package was on the way (which was false) and that I could check the tracking to see an update. The tracking still showed the package as delivered, which demonstrates that the customer service rep did not even read my inquiry. The response was useless and did not at all address my problem that the package was not received and that the timing of the package being allegedly delivered in two days was suspect. Groupon gave no indication that it contacted UPS to question the two day alleged delivery or the whereabouts of the package.
The refund of Groupon credit should have been a refund to my credit card. When I made a follow up call, I was advised that the Groupon credit was my only choice for refund. I was highly disappointed and quickly made a purchase that I did not intend to make, merely to get the value of my money back. This company has not satisfied me and needs to fix its customer service practices with easy to find tabs to report a loss package and telephone and/or actual live chat for communications for customers service, accurate update and investigations with the mail carrier, and credit card refunds.

Bought phone accidentally on Groupon. Phone has 30 day money back anyways. Tried to cancel order immediately after my order confirmation email, which arrived next day after purchase. Groupon says contact merchant (AV Electronic Solutions in New York (AKA Price Plummet)). Contacted merchant and they said can't cancel, order has shipped within 24hrs. Order shipped 5 days later, merchant could have easily cancelled. I told them I want to cancel or return. Again, Groupon is completely hands off. They do not care what their merchant's sell or how their merchants scam customers. Merchant said just refuse package and I will get refund once it returns back to them. I did not know that refusing package takes weeks and it could be lost. So merchant will never have to refund because by the time it gets back to them, the 30 day refund window will expire.
Tried contacting Groupon again (Groupon and Merchant was contact 10 times). They said contact merchant. I put in 3 tickets, keeps getting closed while both Groupon and Merchant ignores me. On top of that, Groupon says if I keep putting tickets they will close my account. How am I supposed to get my money back if merchant keeps closing the tickets and ignoring me!!! After threatening to go to my CC company and BBB, Groupon replied that all orders after 2 hrs of purchase can't be cancelled. So is it 2 hrs or 24hrs, stick to one lie!!! 1. I tried to cancel within 2 minutes of my purchase email so it could have been cancelled then. 2. Order did not ship within 24hrs so it could have been cancelled. Order shipped 5 days later per tracking and my shipping email! Both operate a refund scam and bounce responsibility off each other. They both will ignore you until the refund window expires! Never do business with these business!

I ordered a 16.5 ft aluminum extension ladder on Oct. 17, 2017. I bought it to put up Christmas decorations. On Dec 1, 2017 my daughter climbed on it and a rung bent and broke. My daughter is 5 ft tall and weighs 105 lbs. Groupon sold this ladder through a third party vendor called Wmart. They finally agreed to give me my money back but I would have to pay for the shipping myself, to the tune of $75.00 or more. The ladder weighs 45lbs. So now I have a defective ladder I can't use. Do not use Groupon for any reason. They do not stand for their customers. If I could give them negative stars I would.

I ordered a Handbag in early December from Groupon. Within 24 hours of placing the order I had received confirmation of the order and a tracking number from the Courier Aramex. Well it's now the 4th of January and still nothing. The tracking number with Aramex shows nothing and of course the helpful but completely ineffectual Customer Service staff at Groupon have done nothing except offer me full credit in their offer store. Which to me is ridiculous considering they haven't been able to answer me on where the item I ordered is in the first place. Just feeble excuses.
No one at Groupon picks up the phone and calls the supplier and then gets back to you with anything at all that is helpful. Honestly the whole thing is a huge shonk. I have ordered items from some little old lady in darkest Europe and it has turned up a week later. Groupon should be run out of Dodge for this kind of service. Why the Consumer Affairs people around the world don't seriously investigate this organisation is beyond me. Really it's just theft. All our money for nothing in return and from what is written on this Website alone I am wondering why nothing has been done. Very unhappy with this. I hope you're reading this Groupon. I immediately called to make reservations & then bought my Groupons. Assuring that I had a reservation before buying the Groupons. $234.00! We arrived to our appointments & were told by the Palms spa that we could not use our purchased vouchers. They aren't accepting the Groupons during such a busy time. Hello!! We had used their spa exactly 1 year ago. I had to pay for our services again!!!
Groupon is not giving me my $ back either. They have counter disputed this with my credit card company. They claim I can use my credits that I have paid for, but so far, 3 months later, no credit in my account. The letter they sent me explaining how to use my credits was sent on Dec. 20, giving me ten days to dispute. Hello holidays! BEWARE! THESE PEOPLE ARE SHARKS!!! I purchased a Groupon for a cupping session, and instead of going right into the session I was forced to sit through a lecture about acupuncture that lasted 30 minutes. Then the session lasted 3-5 minutes and they used 6 cups on my back. They didn’t even apply them throughout my whole concern areas. When I requested a call the next day I was told several times that because the voucher was redeemed I was not eligible for a refund. I spoke with a supervisor and was offered a measly 10% back as an accommodation because I kept in about how terrible their customer service was.
I demanded to speak with the second level supervisor and was denied, stating that the supervisor I was speaking with was the highest level of supervisor authorized to speak to customers. How can the supervisor’s supervisor not be authorized to speak with customers? I demanded a call back and it never came. I will NEVER buy another Groupon. I will call businesses listed on Groupon directly and offer them the value of the Groupon price (saving them the 50% cut that Groupon takes) and I’ll bet 75% of them will honor the price without the Groupon. ** them!!!

I explained that I cannot sign up for all 3 classes. Also they are asking for $49.99 to access a toolkit. Otherwise the courses are useless. Groupon sent an email saying I needed to contact Live Academy. I don't think they even read my email. The reviews are obviously fake. I can't even leave a review to warn others about my experience. I'm fairly new to using Groupon and have quickly become very dissatisfied. If I could rate them negative stars I would for a number of reasons. First, I've found the quality of many of the goods are extremely poor quality. While they do allow free returns, it is quite a long time until you receive credit for your return. If you've returned more than one item, for instance 3 shirts for $15.00 each for a total of $45. You'll receive an email stating that you'll be getting a credit for $45, but they randomly seem to credit each individual item separately even though the items were all returned in the same shipment. It can be difficult to ensure that you receive your full credit on your credit card statement.
I normally do not write reviews, but have written several negative reviews on their site because the items were such poor quality. For instance an item that was advertised as a holiday sweater. I ordered 4 for all the girls in the family. I ordered 3 mediums and one large maternity sweater. To start with the material was a very lightweight jersey fabric not a sweater at all. They were so thin you could see light through them and at least one of them arrived with several small holes in the shoulder area because the fabric was such poor quality. The large maternity sweater was just barely larger than the medium non maternity sweaters. I posted a negative review as the quality was so bad and not at all as described. The review has never been posted.
I had the same experience with some fleece lined leggings. The material was such poor quality that after wearing only once for a few hours they had to be thrown away. They weren't even nice enough to donate to charity. The legs showed visible wear on the material where my boots were. I went ahead and washed them on cold, gentle cycle, and hung them to dry thinking they'd be okay as long as I wore them with boots. They pulled so badly after that one wash and were almost see through everywhere. This was a set of 6 pairs and they were all thrown away. It was a complete waste of money and I posted a negative review. That review was never posted either. Lesson learned - not all reviews are posted. So what you're reading cant be trusted.
So I stopped buying goods from them unless it was through a company I was familiar with. Which brings me to my most recent unpleasant encounter. You can't speak to anyone - ever! You can only chat with customer support. I have never purchased directly from Shari's Berries: however, I've received them as gifts several times and have been satisfied with the quality of the product. I have also purchased Groupons from local merchants for services and have been mostly satisfied. I've found that it can be difficult at times to use your Groupon within the timeframe given due to merchant schedules. I've had other negative experiences with customer support due to quality issues. In addition to Items that were never received, etc. As I said in the beginning... buyer beware. This is my last bad experience with Groupon - I'm done!

So, after 4 days and multiple emails & complaints (including a call to PrinterPix) my issue has been resolved.
The voucher worked for me this afternoon when I tried it again for the 5th time in 4 days.
I'm not super happy that it took so long and so much effort, but it did work out ok. In the future, I will be very hesitant to buy any vouchers that require submission to a separate third party website, but I will continue using Groupon.
In the future, Groupon should definitely include information on the ad about how it can take up to 3 days for the voucher code to load/be effective. That would have made the issue much less worrisome. That is what PrinterPix told me when I called and also how to resolve the issue. Groupon wasn't super helpful, but I guess that is understandable since they are just the middle man. So, moral of the story, Groupon is only as good as the 3rd party that they are vouching for.

I have ordered a few things from Groupon. My first 2 purchases came in and everything was great. However I tried to order canvas prints last night from PrinterPix, one of their affiliated website, but the voucher isn't working. When I called PrinterPix, they told me it can take up to 2 days for the voucher to start working, which of course isn't listed on the Groupon page. When I requested that Groupon cancel my order and give me a refund they responded that the sale was final, even if it doesn't work, but I could gift it to friends or family members... what a joke! Why would I gift a voucher that doesn't work? I'm not sure how that is legal, but I am going to dispute the transaction with my bank and hope to get my money back that way.
I have screenshots of the voucher and trying to redeem it online that I will be more than happy to show. I also contacted the company to ask for help and all I got was an email that they were experiencing a lot of requests for help, so they would try to respond within 48 hours. After I talked to PrinterPix, I sent another email requesting a refund to Groupon which they responded to immediately - NO. The reason I don't want to wait 48 hours is because that wasn't on the ad and that is also the period of time that I can dispute the transaction with my bank. Coincidentally if I wait 48 hours and it isn't legit, I can't dispute it. Since I only have 3 interactions with this company, I don't have any reason to trust them.

I contacted customer support to tell them they sent me the wrong item & that I wanted to return the item & then send me the correct one. No. That couldn’t happen. I had to send my item back, get my money back & repurchase the item. At that point I didn’t even want it.
The second problem I had was I had ordered 2 item for my new apartment that I moved into. Well not realizing when I made the order that I didn’t change the address. I contacted customer support when I thought about it the next day & their response was, "It’s been 2 hours since you placed your order. There isn’t anything we can do." They wouldn’t give me the number to the third party that the item was coming from & they wouldn’t cancel the item. The most recent problem that I had was... I bought an item, paid for it. 1. They couldn’t find my new address so I had to have the item sent to my job. 2. They took my money. But the item has not showed up in My Groupons, so I can’t track the package.
It’s been 3 weeks since I purchased the item & I still haven’t received it. So I contact customer support for the third time asking about where my product is, did it go through correctly (had to have, I saw the deduction in my bank acct) & when is it going to deliver. & their response is "yes your purchase went through successfully, & could you please tell us what item it is." Really?! They should know what I just bought. You took my money. They even say their phone support is open Saturday and Sunday, well it isn't. Avoid Groupon at all costs! They usually Jack the price anyways before they discount it so it's all a waste. Groupon sold me two tickets for the Janet Jackson concert that were located behind the stage completely out of view of the show and the big screens. The response was no refund would be granted because all sales are final. How unfortunate that Groupon is in the business of basically stealing from their consumers. The seats were in a section that should have been roped off because the view was blocked and located behind the stage. The seats should have NEVER been sold. I will never use Groupon again. Their business practices are not ones that I agree with and I refuse to spend my hard earned money. How sad.

They have yet to call me back, they have also ignored few of my emails. This is unacceptable. I can dispute with my bank, but I am not sure if I will get my money back. 30 min after its purchase, I returned a voucher I didn't think would be active by the time I was going to need it (24hr waiting period). Groupon 'refunded' it, but all they did was take the voucher from me, change its status to 'refunded' and never refunded the money. I contacted customer service a week later when I notice the charge was never applied back to my card and they told me: "All sales were final and that I can let someone else use the voucher" even though they already took back the voucher and listed it as 'refunded'.
After explaining what happened for the SECOND TIME, they told me: "That they cannot refund it because it's past their 3 day period and I will have to reach out to the business itself." After explaining to them again for a THIRD TIME that they already took back the voucher, listed it as refunded, and didn't pay me the money, they told me: Nothing.... they ignored my response email with screenshot of my account showing that the voucher was listed as 'refunded' and how it's no longer available for me to use. So here I sit with no voucher to 'give to a friend or family' or the money for the voucher that they took back. The level of incompetency in their system and in their customer service makes me wonder how a company like this has survived this long. If I could give them less than one star I would.

First of all, the process was cumbersome. In order to redeem the voucher, I had to log onto Novadab's website. The website did not line up with the order. I ordered four bracelets for one price. It took longer than 10 days for the order to be shipped to me. When it arrived, there was only one bracelet. I contacted both Groupon and Novadab. Groupon did not respond. Several emails later Novadab basically said that the fine print allowed them to send the items one at a time and charge shipping for each bracelet. The entire order was a ripoff!

At 3 am the next morning 11/29/2017 I got a second email this time telling me that the order had gone through. I also got a notification from Apple Pay that they had charged my card. (see attached)
After waiting two weeks the order never arrived, so I went on the site. While an order showed up under "My Groupons" when I clicked on it, it would go back to the order page. I contacted customer service via email and via Twitter. I sent them images of the credit card transaction showing it was a completed transaction and not a "pending transaction" (after all it had been 15 days, which is longer than pending transaction like this sit on an account). I even gave them the order number and shots of the emails they had sent. They never offered a refund, and simply told me I could try ordering again. I asked if I could speak to someone on the phone, but the only way to do that is to have an order and to request a callback - no way I am placing another order on Groupon again.
This has been going on until tonight when I started tweeting both the @GrouponHelpUS and @Groupon (using the @Groupon seems to get their attention). Still not refund though. They even sent me a return label for something that never got dispatched! I've now disputed the charge with my credit card company who have given me a provisional refund. I have enough emails and Twitter screen grabs to easily prove it's their fault. Never ever again!

I received an order I placed on Groupon for a men's jacket and the incorrect color was shipped to me. I contacted customer service via their Live Chat to make them aware of the error and to have the item I ordered shipped to me. Within a 40 minutes chat with Mateusz **, I was told that they would not send me the correct item unless I placed another order for it (thereby placing a double order). My refund would not be given to me until approximately 3 weeks from now once the incorrect item they shipped to me was returned, received and processed. I asked to speak to a supervisor (three times before being transferred), since this was unacceptable to me.
Upon being transferred to the supervisor, Lufti **, I was told to hold for several minutes while a solution is looked into. After holding (all the while taking time out of my workday to remedy their mistake), I was informed of the same exact solution that the representative gave to me with the exception of a measly $5 Groupon bucks on top of that. I explained that it was not an acceptable "solution" seeing as the error lay with Groupon and through no fault of my own. I would not place a double order for an item that I ordered correctly the first time.
The alternative "solution" given to me was to send the item back, to wait for my refund to post, and then place my order once more... but they could not guarantee the inventory. Neither solution would guarantee the correct item that I ordered in my possession in the time I needed it. I requested that the correct item be sent to me without charging me while the return is in transit to their facility. Request was denied. All in all I spent an hour and a half out of my workday to only receive extremely poor customer service and no reasonable solution.
The two options are far from any sort of solution to fix their own error especially from a company that brings in over $3 Billion a year. My company brings in a fraction of that and our customer service will do practically anything necessary to remedy a situation for an unsatisfied customer. Groupon needs to do much better for their customers!!

Let me start off by saying, this was ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE. Now this is my first time ever giving a business a bad review (EVER???). I'm pretty level headed and non entitled when it comes to things in life and knowing that things happen sometimes (tech issues, miscommunication, platform errors with sites etc.) I'm pretty understanding. But this right here... this right HERE... was just downright SAD and UNACCEPTABLE. I bought a Groupon today for me and my husband to go to do something nice (Only time we get to do anything else besides work, work, and more work). The Groupon we bought was a Hotel Groupon for a great price.
We booked it same day because Groupon used to be instant (where you dont have to wait ✋). Me and my family waited AND STILL ARE WAITING FOR THIS GROUPON TO GO THROUGH for 7 WHOLE HOURS. STRANDED IN THE CAR. There is no way to call Groupon now. Did the live chat thing to get some reps to assist and see if they could push the reservation through (This was about at the 3 hour mark) and all 3 reps were USELESS. DISRESPECTFUL. RUDE. AND ACTED LIKE THEY DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO or would say "We're working on it," (Chat ended) or my favorite "It'll be pushed through within the hour. Your operator has ended this chat". Lol. 4 hours later and it still has not gone through. I'll be monkey's uncle. WE IN 2017 going to 2018 and we can't push reservations through instantly.
What if yall was stranded. Travelled and waited 7 hours wasting YOUR WHOLE DAY THAT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE CHILLIN AND RELAXIN WITH YOUR FAMILY. And you're gonna tell me there's nothing you can do, fix, refund, reimburse, credit, or escalate to fix this. RIGHTTTTTT??? OH and then the last chat I had when I asked the rep if they could credit the money back OR if I could exchange the Groupon at least and use it for a different Groupon he said "I'm sorry mam but I can credit you $10 Groupon bucks for the inconvenience". LMBO??? Lol. $10 for 7 hours of waiting and a ruined vacation weekend. And when I asked how long it would take at least (Still being level headed here and kind), and what the process is now since it's not instant anymore, they ended the chat.
This will be my last experience with Groupon. I mean the most disrespectful experience I've ever had with a business that left me, my weekend, and my family baffled and speechless. To see that companies don't even have common human courtesy anymore is scary and frankly disappointing (There is no more quality in businesses, just quantity, stocks, and image). And yall wanna know why people yell, scream, holler and demand a supervisor. Because of uncunning, unhelpful, disrespectful service like this. I was kind to all the reps even though they weren't with me. NEVER AGAIN. My husband uses Groupon non stop. NEVER have I seen my husband so upset. He originally started the chats and I had to finish because he got so angry. I hope Groupon get they act together because this was a heartbreaking experience.

I often buy of Groupon, the odd time you will get a good product but a lot of times the product is bad quality, breaks within a few weeks (primarily their shoe range), or never gets delivered. The photos always look good but it doesn't mean the product will be good. Most recently I bought a bag off Groupon, it was expected to be delivered within a week. After a week I checked the tracker and it said "due to be delivered within the expected date range" and that it was still waiting to be shipped. The same message showed after 2 weeks of waiting. So I left the customer support an email and with no "please" or "thank you" in the response. I received a response telling me to wait longer and not explaining about my inquiry about the fact that it had been waiting to ship for over a week. Honestly, I don't even think they looked into my case.
Then, today, almost 3 weeks after I purchased the product I contacted customer support through live chat and received a refund. The man seemed to be understanding but honestly it seems to be a gamble over whether or not you'll receive a customer support guru who actually wants to help you. I went to this website to buy a product not have money taken off me for 3 weeks. It has just been a waste of time and an annoyance, and it's not the first time this has happened.
Due to that and the fact that I have bought leggings with clear sowing lines on them (not very attractive and unlike the photos), boots that the sole within a few weeks has come off, boots that have created a hole in the sole due to lack of flexibility, dresses that are not the size described etc. off the site I will not be returning again. South Coast Winery Resort and Spa, in Temecula, CA, does not want to take the amount for what I paid for, on the expired Groupon, for a few on the same terms reservation. So contacted Groupon about problem, and after two messages to Groupon, they still haven't taken initiative and responsibility to credit my account for what I paid for, according to the company policies: The value paid for a Groupon never expires!! Stand up for what you preach Groupon! This is quite deceiving, after all those years of business together.

I ordered headphones for my niece for her upcoming birthday. The pair I ordered lit up green, the pair I received was yellow and lit up white. Mustard yellow! I tried to call Groupon but they no longer have a customer service line to call so I chatted with a supervisor who told me my only option was to print a label and return the item, but I could no longer receive the one I ordered. I don't have a printer and work 70 hours a week so I asked that they send me a return label in the US mail so I could return the product. They said that's not an option for me. To go to the library to print it.
The library is not open when I am not at work. I work past operating hours and I am in to work before they open, he said, “Then get a friend to print it.” Wow what great service. Groupon sends me the wrong order... Won't send the right order, and won't help with the return of the wrong order. I do not recommend buying from Groupon goods! Especially because THEY sent the wrong one, and THEY won't help fix THEIR mistake, and they won't send the right one... So now I don't get what I ordered and I have to search for a new gift... But from Amazon. They have real customer service!

Kind of stupid that you paid 20 bucks to get socks that you can't even wear or you have to fix to wear them. Definitely would not recommend them at all. I would find another place to purchase some but definitely not these socks.

Groupon repeatedly clogged my email inbox with offers for a $20 Uber gift card/code at a price of $10. I bought one, and attempted to redeem it for a $7.33 ride. They would NOT give me a ride--said they could not use the coupon code to authorize the ride without a authorization hold on another card, which would have worked had I not been charged for the Groupon purchase. I had to walk 2 miles thanks to this garbage. Then on a future date after I deposited more funds in my checking account, I used Uber for a $7.33 ride (same destination) and was able to use the $20 coupon code--but it used ALL of the $20. So I was charged $20 for a $7.33 ride and neither Uber nor Groupon will do anything about it. If I had never used Groupon at all, this ride would have only been $7.33. I've haggled with both companies submitting multiple inquiries for 3 months now. They refuse to respond and refuse to give me my $13.67 in change that I'm rightly owed.

Nowhere in the ad did it say stairs not included. They refuse to do the stairs and was gone in 30 minutes. I paid $99.00 to have this service and got almost nothing.

When I called the spa to make my appointment, they said they don't have any Groupon deals and have been dealing with this issue for the last 2 months that the wrong address was listed and is in a completely different state. I contacted the customer service with my issue and got an email back stating they can't refund my money because it was over 3 days since I made the purchase. I emailed back asking for a call, which I never got. I can't find any other numbers to contact customer service. This was an error made on Groupon's part, and now I'm out the money.

I had no way to stop the account once it was started. After a few years, I asked them to stop advertising the campaign but they refused. Instead, they sent me the following message. "Thanks for reaching out to Groupon Merchant Services. On checking your account, I could see that your deal is only paused. Pursuant to your agreement(s) with us, Groupon is permitted to advertise and promote your deal, both when the deal is live, pause and also after it expires. We acknowledge your request, but Groupon has decided to maintain the promotion in question. Thanks for your anticipated understanding and cooperation." Obviously this is upsetting as I never wanted it in the first place. As I could not get into the email the account was made it took me quite some time to get access to the account to change the email to hear back from them to which they told me I can't have a refund because THEY didn't respond to my request within three days and now they are telling me despite no appointments even being available till well after the Groupon expires that they won't do anything and I should just give it away.
That was already an extremely generous gift for me to purchase to begin with as I don't have much money after my cat's surgery and after not being able to give it to the intended and not being able to use it on me I am not very please to say the least and some business trying to tell me to just throw away the money I work 50 hrs a week for to someone else because of their failure to reply in time is just plain insulting on their part.

When I showed proof, they reactivated my account, but they did not reactivate my money. After I again showed proof, they did. I used some of the money, and then suddenly the money expired again, and again without notification.
Now they say "we have to stick to our policy" and won't reinstate the money. It is about roughly $29, which they literally stole from me, and pretend that is the most normal thing. Also, there is no phone hotline, and they do not call back either. You have to chat with someone who every now and then answers and says "you can look up our policies." I could not hate them more. I have purchased many items from Groupon some with good luck some was not. My major complaint is I bought a Groupon from a chiropractor for a massage x-rays and adjustment for $44. At the end of my appointment after I receive the adjustment and x-rays and set up an appointment for massage they asked for my insurance so we can get another adjustment at a later date. Come to find out they billed my insurance. The insurance company is now investigating the chiropractor. I alerted Groupon and they've done nothing about it and they are allowing this chiropractor to advertise his services and put coupons on Groupon.
Prior to this I've ordered battery packs through Groupon and they did not work when I said I wanted to return the item and they told me that they were not returnable. It's my mistake for not reading the fine print but I guess that just goes to show that they don't do their due diligence while checking who they allowed to sell a Groupon. I've also ordered other items and it says delivered but they were not delivered. I will not be dealing with Groupon anytime in the future and I highly suggest if anybody is thinking about doing any business with them that they think long and hard before doing so.

I got to the pizza place and it still was not there so I waited about 20 mins longer before finally reaching out to a customer service rep online. I asked what was taking it so long to get the Groupon and he told me it would take up to 24 hours! Since when does it take 24 hours? And if the purpose of Groupon is to save money on things you are doing, why would I wait 24 hours to get it? After he told me it would take 24 hours, I told him to just cancel the order.
He told me this was not possible as it was a final sale! I had not even received the Groupon yet! Then he took 3 mins to respond and told me we would be disconnected if I took longer than 2 mins to respond. Horrible service and then he just ended the chat! I will NEVER buy another Groupon.
