I made arrangements for flowers to be sent to my Uncle's funeral (as I live 700 mile away). FTD failed to deliver the flowers and I was not made aware of their inexcusable negligence until the following week. How embarrassing to think what my deceased Uncle, friends and family thought of me. FTD owes me more than a refund. FTD= FAIL TO DELIVER

I ordered flowers for my wife’s anniversary to be delivered on a Friday. They were delivered until Monday and of course the flowers were dead by the time she got them. Since they tell you to wait until 8 PM local time, I didn’t get a chance to go somewhere else and buy her flowers. I did get a reimbursement, but how do you calculate ruining the surprise and plans for the day?

I paid $90 to have a flower arrangement delivered. It was never received by the intended recipient. I wrote to ask about a refund, but not only did I not receive a refund, the company didn’t even respond to several inquiries. I spent $90 on nothing, in other words. And the company has been completely unprofessional.

Ordered flowers 8 days ahead for my friend of over 58 years for her birthday. Waited all day for the flowers to be delivered to her and at 9:00 p.m. they still weren’t delivered. They cancelled order.

I just can't believe it! I am so upset! I ordered flowers for a dear friend of mine last week because I could not make it to her memorial YESTERDAY. I get an email this morning that my flowers would be delivered TODAY! It's a church! There may or may not be anyone there to get them! I paid over $100 for those and went with them because they were recommended by the legacy website! I called and canceled it and boy did that little girl get an earful this morning. I asked her why are they even on the legacy website if they can't keep up with the dates on the obituaries!?!? Ugh! Idk what I am going to do now! I'm so upset!!!! I do not recommend. Find a local company that's competent!

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my sister the Wednesday before mother's day this year. I was notified by FTD that they would arrive Friday before mother's day. They arrived 3 days later than Friday and were wilted and horrible. I immediately asked for my shipping charges to be refunded and that happened right away. However they then promised to have the flowers redelivered to arrive within 3 days. They are scheduled to be delivered on May 25th!! That is over a week since the first ones arrived damaged and late! When I called to tell them to forget it, that I just wanted a refund for the cost of the flowers they said no. This is the first and LAST time I will ever buy flowers from this company. Delivery and product is highly unsatisfactory and although the customer service agents were very nice, their accents were so thick it was hard to understand them. Customer service is great. Delivery is horrible.

FTD is hit or miss. Sometimes I can get a really great bouquet and other times it seems like they do the bare minimum. I think it really depends on the local florist who fills the orders. Most times they are an approximation of what the picture online actually looks like.

Used company twice to send flowers to Fla. Each time the flowers were dead once and the 2nd time they were wilted and in disarray in package. Very disappointed and will never use them again. Repeat never ever use that company again..

I have used this flower service several times and I have been very happy with their flower arrangements and their delivery services every time. They are prompt and deliver the flowers on time. The delivery drivers are very nice. Overall, this is a great flower company.

Have used several of these. Fits best w/ great quality and reliability. Good selection and good prices. Have sent Mother’s Day, Birthday, holidays. No complaints and right on time. Have had flowers, plants, fruit, and candy delivered all over the country.

I've Had some really good experiences with FTD sending and receiving flowers to my MOM, and from Daughter. This particular company has been around and I've always heard and seen nothing but Excellent Customer Care and Service with some Awesome smelling Flowers with Unconditional Lasting Memories. I paid 75.00 to send flowers to my mom and a week later still no flowers. They charge you and don’t deliver- never called or said they could not deliver. They want to keep your money and not delivered flowers!!!!

Got nice flower set but three days later despite changing solution and cut stem under water all went dead early indicating those flowers were old before delivering it to me. Very disappointed. Independent Shop was part of FTD network rather ftd shops.

I never write reviews, let alone negative ones. I ordered approximately 3.5 weeks ago for Mother's Day. I was sent an email saying that my order was supposed to show up on the 9th (Mother's Day) but it never came. I then saw all the negative reviews all over the internet but thought I'd give them a chance. I contacted them and said that I wasn't mad that my order was late despite their email saying otherwise, I just wanted to know where exactly it was. I got no response but figured they were busy, it being Mother's Day.
"My" order showed up the next day. Although the exterior envelope was addressed to the right person, both the interior CARD AND THE BOUQUET were addressed to the wrong person AND it was the wrong bouquet entirely!! They completely botched the delivery! I spent quite a bit of money on this order and I am not a happy. I understand Mother's Day is a busy holiday for Florists, probably their busiest all year, but I still can't believe they let this happen. It's not like it's the first mother's day and I ordered in advance.
It's been 4 days and I have yet to hear back from the company despite multiple emails asking for them to either correct their error or just refund my $110.79. I seriously paid that much just to get screwed over and it seems like without much chance for a refund through them. It's my first time being away from home and I wanted to do something special but now I've been stressed about this along with studying for exams. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

It's been awhile since I ordered flowers but when I did FTD was and is an familiar name for me. Especially when I was in the military when you have to order flowers over the phone to get to either a friend or family member. Whether it was for a wedding or funeral or bridal shower. Sending flowers or plants always shows family how you feel and they were thought of. I know I enjoy getting flowers from my children and friends. So having a company that delivers is always a great service in my book.

The flowers I ordered did not seem worth the price that I paid. I’ve put together more beautiful arrangements myself for less at a grocery store but I was having these delivered to my mom in another city. They did not look bad but seemed small for the price. Also, the vase was ugly. The photo was a modern looking cylinder shaped vase with gold accent. What was sent wasn’t even a similar shape. I hate that I spent my Money on this. I usually look at reviews before ordering things online but I didn’t this time so I’m taking this as a loss for not doing any research.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my mother and sister for Mother’s Day, May 9th 2021. I ordered the flowers 3 weeks in advance and was set to have them delivered the day before MD and paid over $100 for the flowers. I received an email from FTD that the flowered I ordered delivered. Ok. This is the day before mother’s which was 5/8/2021 and I’m just patiently waiting for my mom and sister to call or send pics because it was supposed to be a surprise. So several hrs go by and now it’s almost 11pm and I’m like something doesn’t seem right. So I call my family to ask did the flowers deliver, they said no but just to be sure they took a look around the outside of the house just in case they hid them from porch pirates.
Well I called customer service and asked what was the situation and they suggested that I wait another day to see if the delivery takes place and I’m actually offended at this point because how can you not only take my money but then lie and say you delivered the product and they have absolutely no way of confirming if their flowers are even delivered to the customer. Thank to my mother who has a camera system so we we able to verify that the delivery did not take place. Pathetic company...shouldn’t even be in business if you're going to ** people especially for special occasions when there are plenty of other local florist or markets I could have easily chosen from but instead went with FTD and they just ruined it for us. I give them zero stars!

I️ wanted to have flowers sent for Mother’s Day. I️ ordered the day before and was given a window of 5/8-9 from 9am-8pm. No flowers. At 8:35 pm on 5/9, I️ called customer service. They told me to ask my elderly mother to stay up later and wait. Later, they sent an email saying that the flowers were delivered at 9:13 pm. Still no flowers. I️ understand that is a holiday, but why accept payments and make promises that you do not have the manpower to fulfill? I️ thought FTD was a reputable company, but this experience has been terrible. My mother is 700 miles away and loves flowers, but now she’s disappointed that she didn’t receive them. And I’m left with very little support from customer service. Unacceptable!

I paid them for a floral arrangement 3 weeks before Mothers Day. They failed to create my order and didn't think to notify me so I could make other arrangements. What's worse is that they were recommended by USAA. That leads me to believe I wasn't the only veteran who was disappointed today. You're better off using 1800Flowers.

The florist went above and beyond for us. The flowers were bright and full! There wasn't any wilted and the bouquet of flowers lasted about 7 days with the flower food they provided. The florist delivered on time and was very professional in their delivery. I cannot say enough good about the florist. You can't go wrong with a FTD florist. They did establish the floral standards industry wide.

I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day and my mom never received them even after multiple calls with customer service to check in. The site had automatically marked the flowers as delivered but that was a lie which was confirmed when I called the customer service representative. They also kept promising the flowers would be delivered the next day which they never were. They would put me on hold to call the florist and then promise another delivery time which was never met. After three frustrating days, my mom will not be getting the expensive ($100+) flowers I ordered for her. What a disappointment! Don’t waste your time or money here!

I ordered a $70 dollar Mother’s Day bouquet. What was delivered was 2 roses, a lily and daisies shoved in a vase. No arranging. No greens. Not worth the $$ at all and will never use FTD.com again. Spend your money elsewhere.

They call me the night before at 7:00 pm to tell me they are cancelling my order, because there is no flower shop in Montreal that can fulfill a simple bouquet order! Are you kidding me? I guess as business people, they've made such a mess, no flower shops in a city of over 2 million people will deal with them.

On May 3rd, I ordered flowers to be delivered on May 8th, the day before Mother's Day. Today, May 8th, they told me that they would not be able to deliver the flowers until May 12th, the Wednesday after Mother's Day. They have betrayed my trust and have completely lost my business. I'm only going to buy flowers local from now on, or maybe on 1-800 Flowers. All they offered was a refund of the rush fee. A total insult to me, to say nothing of my wife. FTD cannot be trusted.

I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day for both, my mom and mother in law. My mother in law did receive her flowers on the correct delivery date however, the flowers were nothing like I ordered. When I checked the status on my mother's order, the order was still in process and they told me the order wouldn’t be delivered until May 18th, Mother’s Day is the 9th. Customer service was very uncaring in the matter. Had them give me full refunds, but the damage had been done. Both of them live too far for me to run a gift over and no way could I find someone to deliver on such a short notice. Will never use this company again, and advise everyone to stay away or be prepared to be disappointed.

I ordered flowers for Mother's Day. Being able to have them delivered on that day was the reason I chose FTD Flowers. The day before they were to be delivered, I received an email saying that delivery on the day I requested was not possible. I was given two options- deliver at a later date or a refund. I chose deliver at a later date. Minutes later I received an email saying my order had been cancelled. When I followed up by calling customer service hoping to correct this, I was told I would have to reorder; I would have to correct the mistake that they made. Not a chance in the world! When I called my mother in tears to explain what happened, she told me she had the same experience with FTD Flowers and never received a refund despite multiple requests for one.

I'd like to upload a picture. The flowers were delivered at 5 pm. I was home and they never rang the doorbell. Fortunately, I was on the computer and saw they were delivered. The flowers are tulips. I can tell some were cut at least 5 - 7 days ago. They do not stand up. They all droop over and the leaves are greenish yellow. They look like a two year old stuck them in a vase. I wish I could upload a picture so you could have a laugh.

They are fairly universal. Can be found almost anywhere and deliver almost anywhere. Easy and quick to use. Not cheap. They don't always send what you think you have ordered, but I have had no complaints.

Beware of FTD, they routinely engage in a form of bait and switch, they offer no real customer support and seem to blatantly lie as a means of grabbing your cash. I ordered flowers, specifying a delivery date (a full week in advance) and a zip code. I selected one of their arrangements. On the very next screen, they tried to upsell me to something other than what I had selected. When I tried to check out, they tacked a $20 fee onto the purchase price. My $70 bouquet now cost $100 with taxes and FTD's mystery fee. It took no more than an hour to receive an email telling me that the bouquet wasn't available and that I had to take action. The webform the email directed me to had no option to resolve this problem, so I tried to choose "other" and specify the issue. This proved futile.
I tried calling. Their call center is somewhere they have trouble recruiting staff who can speak and understand English. Communication was difficult. The second customer service representative, who claimed to be "Dave **", told me that the local florist refused to deliver, saying that it was below the minimum threshold for delivery. How could a $100 order be below the delivery threshold? I was told that the price I pay is not what the florist receives. I called a local florist and asked about FTD. I was told that they take an enormous cut of whatever the consumer gives them, leaving the florist with about half the money. The results are predictable: either the florist refuses, or what gets delivered is a mere shadow of what the consumer ordered.
This is, in essence, a bait and switch. What's on offer is not what the consumer sees, but some smaller version thereof. The cost the consumer pays is not for the flowers or delivery, but for FTD to maintain their offshore call center and run web ads. Do yourself a favor: use Google to find a local florist and call directly. DO NOT USE FTD.

At 9 pm, I called to see why my flowers had not been delivered, as indicated on my on-line account. It appears the customer service department is overseas, as their English was quite broken with every person I spoke with, and at times very difficult to understand. They said they would try to find out about my order and placed me on hold for some time. When they came back on-line, they said the flowers would be delivered 3 days later. I said I didn’t want that and would rather get a refund. Then I was transferred to another lady who said she would try and find someone who could deliver the flowers and advised the bouquet I had chosen wasn’t available.
I tried to pick three different bouquets and she said they weren’t available. I asked her to tell me what was available in a rather large city. She gave me the ugliest bouquet on their website and told me that was the only one. I went on the website and all of the bouquets I requested showed available. I was done at that point and asked for a refund. I was sent to a male at this point, who never even answered the phone at first. I had to ask if someone was there. Then he proceeded to call me sir numerous times after I had already corrected him. I asked to speak to a manager numerous times and none of the personnel would allow it. I finally had to hang up on the last guy and call back, as I was not going to allow him to treat me like that. The fourth person supposedly processed a return.
The next day at 6 am, I was sent an email the flowers had been delivered the night before. If the first person I spoke with would have contacted the florist, I would have never had to go through this nasty experience. This is the worst customer service I have ever come across. They have lost a customer for life and I would highly recommend to use a different company, in case you ever have an issue, as they will just give you the run-around and provide no assistance and treat you poorly in the process. Obviously, their personnel are not held accountable for their actions.

I *just* purchased a Mother's Day bouquet for mother-in-law-to-be, and only noticed AFTER checkout that the total price I paid was approximately $30 MORE than what was shown in my basket - and the extra was NOT taxes OR shipping. $20+ in "service fees" PLUS an additional $10 tacked on to the original price for the flowers???? NOT COOL guys. If you'd like to charge service fees for delivery to help pay commissions for the florists you partner with - FINE - but be HONEST! The other 1-star reviews here have me incredibly nervous that this arrangement won't even be worth the $100 I spent on it. Extremely displeased.

I love their service. They are always going the extra mile with outstanding service. If it’s broken they make it right. Service is always with a smile and pleasure to assist their customers. If a mistake occurs they correct immediately and compensate on the mistake. They assure what they stand for in delivery service and pay attention to detail. My mom received her flowers today- the text she sent me after I asked if she liked them was... "They are actually kind of beat up. They look like they're sad. I'm going to put them in some water to see if I can liven them up. I don't know why they put them in a box. I feel like it's kind of hard on them." How absolutely embarrassing that this is the reaction that I get to a Mother's Day gift. The pictures I uploaded are what I ordered versus what was received.

Had to call 3 times. Ultimately talked to 7 people. No one speaks understandable English, so I doubt they understand me. Had a simple question about delivery... Got 3 or 4 variations of answers. Spent over half an hour on the phone. The answering system does not have a choice for questions, so you get transferred to people only interested in orders. It says to check the website...which I did, and the website had no answer which is why I called DUH... Very presumptuous of them. Will never order flowers from this place if a simple question is so difficult to answer.

I ordered 2 Dozen Red Roses for my our Anniversary.. The Delivery was fine but the Roses were Not. Fresh leaves and petals were Falling off and soon as we in boxed them.. They did not Last 2 days and had to be thrown out.. Really embarrassing..

I was very disappointed in the quality & appearance of the deluxe “garden Glam “ basket that I had this company send to a funeral. Size was not as stated & nowhere near as beautiful as pictured. Certainly lacked the bright colors pictured. A waste of $100. Will not go through this company again!

We had a dear friend of the family for this week. My mother recommend this company for the funeral flowers. It was beyond horrible. We get to the funeral and no flowers were there from our family. It was something that I was horrified to have happen. Getting my money refunded me because of a no delivery thing is definitely not even close to good enough! I want flowers for life every week! This company is pathetic! This experience has scarred me for life. NEVER USE THEM!!

Gorgeous pink flowers. What she received was a glass vase with a dozen mainly white carnations with two of the pink flowers shown on the site photo. I complained and called their Customer Care and voiced the complaint. Below you will see the email I received from ‘Harold’ in Customer Care. These people are criminals and you may want to be careful giving them your Credit/Debit Card info. I have regretted them and will NEVER use them again. Flowers for my grandmother's 85th birthday were supposed to arrive by 3PM. Received an email that they were delivered at 5PM. Then received another email at 6PM that an attempt was made and failed. Called and discovered they weren't delivered until 10am the next day. Then had to fight for to get a the delivery fee back. Do not use this company. Terrible experience. Use 1800 Flowers instead!

I bought flowers for my aunt for her birthday and prior to that, I showed my aunt and cousin the bouquet online. When she received them my cousin told me they weren’t worth the 150 I had paid and looked nothing like the picture + had a couple of dead flowers. I proceeded to call customer service and they set up another delivery, which I’m grateful for. The next day they still weren’t the same AS the picture and looked like I had paid 70 for the original rather than 150 for premium! It sucked because I wish I hadn’t had to order again or even contact customer service for my issue. I hate being that person but it doesn’t sit right with me to be spending so much money on something that’s nothing close to the picture.

This is the third year in a row I’ve tried to use FTD to deliver my sister flowers for her birthday. They take no responsibility for late delivery or no delivery at all. I received a confirmation that they were delivered and they never were! They will immediately refund your money but take no action to remedy the issues with the lack of delivery of what you’ve ordered. Do not! do not! do not! ever use FTD. Call a local florist. Talk to them directly and they will Deliver flowers to your love ones. FTD is a joke. You get someone in India at a call center if you have an issue. They do not care about their horrible and lack of delivery. Every. Single. Time. It’s Covid for god sake. My sister is a cancer survivor and lives alone and these were birthday flowers. This was important. We live six states away from each other and I relied on this company to give her something loving for her birthday. Shame on FTD. They don’t care at all do not give them business!

I ordered flowers and chocolates to be sent to my best friend for her birthday on the 26th of March. She still has not received them. I have called, emailed and live chatted with FTD representatives with promise that they would be delivered immediately. She has yet to receive them. I'm to the point I'm going to dispute with my bank and use 1800flowers!

Completely unacceptable. I paid 150 dollars online for a funeral arrangement through FTD. 4 days AFTER the scheduled delivery date, tracking information continues to indicate "Order Status: "Assigned to florist." I attempted to contact FTD to inquire, and I was brought to an online portal to report a problem. 24 hours after I reported this issue, I have no response from FTD as to whether this order was delivered.

So 6 wasted days for a bereavement arrangement sent to a family member. I will NEVER use FTD again. When I did call the phone listed I had a hard time with the communication the English was very broken with heavy accents. They've had my money for a week.

I came to FTD for flower delivery for my mother's birthday because the last company completely failed with dead flowers. The ordering was easy and they delivered on time when they stated they would. I did sign up for the gold membership due to it being almost free after sending 2 flowers for what I would save in fees that were waived. I would highly recommend this company. I really wish I could submit pictures to show how well they did.

Take your money elsewhere! I ordered some roses for my mother. I ordered them weeks in advance. The roses were to celebrate a very special day for my mother and I. The roses not only arrived late but they were wilted and brown. FTD is issuing a refund for the delivery costs. They are sending some replacement roses. It's very unfortunate that they didn't arrive in time to commemorate our very special day. You see, it was for the anniversary of the day that I met my mother. Thanks, FTD, for wrecking my surprise for my mom!

I ordered flowers for someone going through a tragic stressful period. I upgraded to make it special. First of all I couldn’t get delivery for a few days. Keep in mind when you are ordering flowers many times they are time sensitive, if this is the case DO NOT use FTD you have to plan death a few weeks in advance to accommodate delivery.
The day of the delivery I didn’t hear from the recipient. Which was odd she is from the generation that always gets the thank you out ASAP. Next day nothing. Finally 3rd day I asked her, "Ummmm how did you like the flowers?" "What flowers?" "I sent you flowers..." "I never got them." I said, "I got a delivery email, can you look around outside?"
(Now keep in mind this woman is elderly and had been at her dying husband's bedside all day for days, it is late at night and I have her wandering around looking for flowers like Easter eggs). She finally finds a box on a back porch. She takes them in with me on the phone and opens. "Oh they are nice." (I could tell by the tone... No they weren’t). I told her to be honest because just like I didn’t want to ask if she got them which was awkward she needed to know I paid 90+$$ for them. She said, "Oh...they are frozen and black."
I call FTD, talk to someone that had very limited English skills. I try to get her to understand the issue. Finally. "Oh okay we will replace flowers...in a week..." ANOTHER WEEK! Okay at this point ok...wait a week, I follow up with recipient. "Were the new flowers better?" "What new flowers?" I follow up with FTD, “Oh the person you talked to forgot to place the order”. Seriously FTD used to be a standard of beauty and service. Now they should not be allowed to say they deliver because they do not!

Do not use this company. The flowers they send aren't worth nearly half the money you pay for them. I will say I paid for morning delivery and it was actually delivered in the morning on time but I could find better flowers at Walmart or Publix and that where I'll go next time.

I ordered flowers for my 83 year old stepmother's birthday 5 days in advance. They never arrived. I contacted FTD via their customer service email with order number and all information twice over 3 days and only received an automated response. I called twice as well. The first they stated a deliver was attempted at 11 pm in 30 degree weather. They were home, but seriously- 11pm?? I asked for a new delivery time which they promised would be the next day. Nothing. Second call stated I had "cancelled" the order. My account was charged immediately- and only the "top tier" of flowers were available. I called 1-800-Flowers and they delivered flowers the next day, no problems. So disappointed, embarrassed. Will never use FTD again. Never an an apology or attempt to make it right.

I ordered a rose plant for winona **..My fiancee for valentine's day. They said I would get on Friday before valentine's day. I received a late delivery (due to weather) from FTD. Co-workers had ordered an arrangement to be delivered to me while I was recuperating from surgery. I'm sure they spent $50 or $60 on this bouquet of flowers. I live in VA, the flowers arrived via UPS at 8 PM. It's a good thing I noticed the headlights in the driveway, otherwise, they would have sat out on the porch all night. However, it was too late anyway. When I opened the box, all 6 roses were wilted. All the greenery was wilted and the 10 Alstroemeria were not in too good a shape. It's a shame, I can go to the grocery store and purchase flowers for $10 that will last for 3 weeks, but spending an fortune through FTD and they're dead before they get here. I did not say anything to my co-workers and I didn't want to hurt their feelings, but I feel badly that they pitched in their hard-earned money and their gift was pretty much dead when it got here.

FTD aka "FAILED TO DELIVER". If I could give 0 stars I would. This company is a complete failure. I ordered flowers days ahead of time for my mother's birthday and never received them today, the day of her birthday. When I looked into it, they said "an attempt was made by the florist but was unsuccessful". Where was the attempt?? Everyone has been home all day and multiple deliveries have come but not mine. How embarrassing. They did state they would send the next day with a free upgrade but I declined and wanted a full refund after I have lost all trust in the company and the florist, whoever they are. They will not release florist information so you will not be able to contact the florist directly to find out where your order is. BEWARE!

I ordered with FTD for same day delivery after another company failed to deliver Valentine’s flowers at all for my girlfriend’s mother. The arrangement options were super limited for same day delivery which I understand. I order from florist companies because I want to do business with locally owned florists as the FTD website states. Extremely disappointed that they were from Safeway. If I’m buying Safeway flowers I paid double what I needed to.

I ordered flowers for my two granddaughters from FTD on February 5th for Valentine's And scheduled delivery for Friday, Feb. 12th. I was notified on the 12th that the flowers would not be delivered until Monday the 15th due to weather. Well there is nothing but rain from Atlanta to Charlotte where the flowers went. However, the flowers arrived today, after Valentine's and were nearly DEAD. The girls opened their boxes and the flowers are wilted and have black spots everywhere. I will never recommend this service nor use this service in the future. It was such a disappointment and horrible experience. While I have been told I will get a refund I wish I had great looking flowers for my beautiful granddaughters instead.

I ordered $133 worth of roses for my wife this morning based on FTD's expressed 'guarantee' that they would be delivered by 9pm in Valentine's Day. The roses never came and when I called customer service, after 45 minutes of haggling, was told the best that could be done is an upgraded delivery tomorrow, or a refund and a small coupon to spend in the future. The Big Show was today FTD and you missed it. Free roses on the day after The Big Show might have helped rebuild my trust in your guarantee, but you couldn't even do that so I will stay in the dog house and buy my wife something nice locally...and never use you service again.

I ordered an arrangement and chocolate covered strawberries to be delivered to my girlfriend's work on 13-Feb-2021. The deliver didn't come. When I tracked it I found out that one shipment hadn't even left the place it was created. The other shipment was in Kentucky 5 states away. I was never notified that the deliver wasn't going to make it. Worse yet it doesn't look like it's going to be there on Valentine's day which I paid a crazy amount of money for. Not only did they charge me an exorbitant amount of money for a deliver the day before Valentine's day. They charged me extra for a weekend delivery.
When I contacted customer service the person I spoke to barely spoke English and kept calling me Michelle, my name is Jason. Michelle's the person the flowers were going to. I had to tell him 3x that I'm the person who placed the order and my name is Jason but he couldn't grasp that. He kept insisting that my order was going to be there that day. I told him that I tracked the order and one hadn't shipped. The other was 5 states away and there was no way it was going to make it. He argued with me and told me to call back. I told him it was after 6pm and the business was closed now.
He offered me a $25.00 coupon on my next order. I told him that is not going to work. Since they couldn't get my order there on one of their biggest days I definitely won't trust them to deliver on time again. He told me there is nothing further he can do and I ended the call with no resolution. Someone needs to make this right. Don't use this service if you want your arrangement on time.

My daughter decided she wanted to order flowers for her boyfriend's mother who she loves alot. I placed the order on February 9th to be delivered to Portland Oregon on Saturday February 13th. My husband ordered flowers the 11th for his mom in St. Louis Missouri and they showed up on Saturday like it was scheduled. Somehow the one to portland is now in Louisville Kentucky and left from Los Angeles California and now they are saying that it wont be delivered until Monday. What is the point of paying for expensive shipping and scheduling it to not be delivered when you request.

I tried four times today to place a flower delivery to my sister for her birthday with a later delivery date because of the Valentine's Day holiday (even though her birthday is the same day). So I picked Tuesday the 16th for delivery. I tried on-line as I always do but had issues for whatever reason and the order stated that it could not be placed. I checked my credit card and all was well to make sure there were no issues on my end. I have used this company for ordering flowers before but after this debacle, I shall never use this company again. I connected to chat, and it stated no one was available to assist. I called three times and was put on hold and no one picked up. Finally I get a customer service representative and she did not know what she was doing at all. She could even speak English well enough to get me thru this order. I will make every effort to tell others not to use this company. Horrible customer service!!!

Aiming for a nice Valentine’s Day for my wife and what happens, no flowers! However, two hours before the incorrect flowers were attempted to be delivered, at 8:51 PM, an email was received (at 6:51 PM) stating that the flowers had been delivered. The gate calls, 1-800-Flowers is here. I meet the driver and look at the flowered, which look nothing like the bouquet that was ordered. The driver is stunned when I say that those are not the correct flowers and I declined acceptance. #don’tuseFTD
After the third call of the day to FTD customer service, I learn that the flowers, originally scheduled for delivery today, will be delivered tomorrow since they did not show up already, even though the email noted that the flowers were “delivered” two hours ago. After the third call of the day, FTD agreed to give me a refund. Way too much effort for a frustrating experience. #don’tuseFTD

Every year I order flowers through this company to be delivered to my parents and have never had a problem until this year. I ordered flowers for my father's birthday to be delivered today and they were never delivered. Called customer service and I could barely hear anything through the static. The customer service representative offered no help. Claims there was an issue with weather and yet status says "out for delivery". I didn't pay $100 for a package of dead flowers to be delivered at FTD's leisure. I will not continue to use this company. Ruined a special occasion.

I called FTD in the evening. They had no explanation on why the flowers weren't delivered. The flowers were finally delivered the next day on Feb. 3 in the mid to late afternoon. Refunded $19.25 off of a $115.54 purchase. It was too little too late to change my opinion. Next time I'll order from a different company.

I have been a gold member for years and I can not think of a company I hate more than this one. It is worse and worse every year culminating in 2021. They can't even get flower delivery right. How is that possible? Then when you call customer service and "agents" in a third world country answer it's all downhill from there. No ones phone works right to start, how can every phone be worse than the next? They are all muffled and all sound like they are at home babysitting. They can never reach the florist to find out what happened when the next screw up eventually happens and they can't do anything without repeating the same stuff over and over again. I spent 40 minutes trying to find out where a replacement order was only to just cancel it and get refunded. They literally transferred me to 6 people throughout the call. Can't make this up, I will never order from them again or promote anyone to use this shifty business as long as I live.

My flowers were suppose to be delivered on Friday, the day before my grandmas' birthday. It's 8 pm on friday and they have not been delivered. I call and ask them if they can please make sure they are there on Saturday, as it is my grandmother's 93rd birthday. The guy Martin tells me, "Sorry there's nothing I can do," and they will be there on Monday. It's now monday @ 6:00. No flowers. I call again and let them know I'm upset and would like to be compensated, maybe free shipping? The guy offers me a coupon and when I say, "No that won't work for me," he says "I went on a limb for you and this is a good deal." I get off the phone with him and call back. I speak to Rose. She actually listens and apologizes sincerely. Tells me twice on the phone happy birthday to my grandma and gets me a refund. Only pleasurable thing about this experience was her.

Flowers weren't delivered, and when I called the gal said that they couldn't find a delivery person to deliver. I was never notified that the delivery would never happen, which is reprehensible. Moreover, today's online order status reads "Assigned to Florist", which is totally bogus. I am incensed. I will never, ever use this company again; they are a fraud.

On January 11 they deliver the flowers after 9 PM to her place of business and she wasn’t there obviously. The next day they promised a refund. They lied about that also. There was never a refund. I wanted to surprise my daughter with flowers on her birthday, she’s In NY I’m in NC and I haven’t seen her in over a year! Which made this first time experience even worse! I ordered the Marmalade Skies bouquet, upgraded to the large in a vase, she received the smaller version and it was missing 2 different flowers. Water spilled inside the box which caused the box to rip. Of course I called FTD, explained what happened and they offered to replace the arrangement but wouldn’t be delivered until the next day. I agreed to that, but I called again later in the day just to check if anything changed and they didn’t have any new orders. I was told they called the local florist and there was no answer!
I asked to speak to a supervisor. He also tried calling and there was no answer so he told me he would me he would email the florist, I said fine but by now I was starting to lose my cool! I called this morning and once again the supervisor failed to do his part! There was NO order! The girl on the phone insisted she could help. I was put on hold and she was able to call another florist and promised the arrangement will be delivered and it would be the large size, Well my daughter reviewed her arrangement today and it's worse than the first one!!! It’s missing 5 roses and other flowers and it’s smaller than the first! I’m so done with that company! Complete garbage!!!! I want to post pictures and I am working on it!

Was offered 3 options/size to pick from ranging from $50-$80. Ordered the $80 one. Recipient received the flowers as scheduled and sent me a message thanking me. Also included a pic of the flowers she received. I would say it was not even close to the $50 option. Realize this is more on the end of who FTD sends the order to and FTD assumes they will get it right. I did contact customer service and they requested to be charged for the basic ($50) option which they did correct. Also sent a message to their home office about my experience and haven't heard from them. Problem here is had the recipient not included a pic I would have not known and would have assumed the correct order was done. Have used FTD in the past with good results, this leaves a sour taste.

I placed an order for a funeral thru Legacy.com which FTD fills those request. I had received, an email that stated that my plant had been delivered. I received a text from a staff member stating she could find the plant, I had sent for the funeral. They ask the church staff, who stated that no plant had been delivered. I contact FTD at 11:30am, asking if they could find out where the plant had been delivered to, as was not delivered to the church. They were not able to reach the florist while I was on phone waiting, but she said she would send a message to the florist. I asked her to send me an email to where the plant was. 3 hrs later I call back as it should take that long track down. The FTD costumer service this time could not find my order, my order number, name, phone number, address or address it was sent to.
I requested to talk with a supervisor, which I was able. She was able to find my order and stated it was delivered at 3:34pm the day before, I ask where as not at the church, so she also tried to contact florist but unable to get ahold of them, to find out where it was delivered, nor could she give me the florist phone number so I could track it down. I finally requested a refund, so I could go purchase it somewhere else. The time to do both call was close to 1hr and 15 minutes. I highly would not recommend.

Using my local florist to order flowers in another city the above FTD florist provided flowers that did not resemble what was ordered out of the FTD book, but one arrangement was far smaller than what was requested and paid. I called the above company, they promised to call me back, but as is so common, no one bothered to follow-up. The above company seems to be buying profit into their shipments, by reducing the quality and size of requested arrangements. Will file a BBB complaint for the above. FTD has been very disappointing this past year.

I chose an arrangement on FTD.com, upgraded to ‘exquisite, large and grand’ and paid to send next day delivery to a funeral. The arrangement on delivery was completely different than what I paid for. Low quality carnations as opposed to the roses displayed on the website. They also used Horrible chrysanthemums and greenery in a cheap clear glass vase. Which is NOT what I paid for. This was for a funeral and the mess they sent was completely unacceptable. I’ve ordered many arrangements from FTD and I now assume they have done this ‘switch for poor quality’ every time. Please do not order from FTD.

Within 4 days of this adorable decorated tree arriving the lights had dimmed then stopped working before Christmas Day. My Mother turned off these lights each night at bed time, so I believe the lights should've had a longer life to them.

So I figured I’d get my significant other a nice, and festive flower bouquet for Christmas. The Gift of Joy Bouquet came in a nice present shaped vase and some red/white carnations and roses. I’m reasonable, and I understand it’ll never look like the image. But wow, not even close. No joke, there were 4 flowers in this, the rest was random filler that it looks like they just stuffed in. $85 (with shipping) for 4 flowers is insulting. I was hesitant to go with FTD.com, as I’ve noticed diminishing quality over the last few years and now I’ll never do it again.
I called Customer Support, not once, not twice, but thrice. I was hung up on twice by their call system. They said they’d request to re-issue my order, but I was then told they couldn’t get in contact with the local florist. About an hour after that they marked my order as ‘delivered’ and nothing has happened since. Waited another day and guess, what STILL NOTHING. Their customer service is just as poor as their product. Don’t waste your breath ordering from this company. I’ll never buy from them again. I’ve attached a photo of what was advertised vs. the joke of a bouquet that I actually got. Thanks FTD for making Christmas even more ‘2020’.

They kept contacting me assuring me for days they would deliver and had tried to deliver all the while recipient was home and never contacted! Christmas came and went for my lonely recently widowed sister in law waited for my gift!!!! FTD just started hanging up or pretending they couldn't hear me and disconnect!!! Would not give us Florist name to contact. I don't think it was ever coming and I out $100 and my sister in law has nothing!!

I thought FTD was a name you could trust. But that is no longer the case. Spent $79 plus to have a Christmas arrangement sent to my sister in Florida. Received an email that it had been delivered, but I never heard from my sister, so I asked her if she received it. She had not. I called the next morning. Person answering is in another country. I was told it would be re-delivered the same day. More than 9 hours later, still no delivery. I call customer service again. Person I spoke to was extremely rude. Refused to give me the number of the florist that was handling the order so I could directly confirm with them the correct information. Then they put me on hold and said that it would be delivered within the next 30 minutes. No SUCH THING. So I search online and find that FTD filed for Bankruptcy in 2019 and numerous individuals have left poor ratings here for 2020. I feel like they out and out stole my money. I am filing dispute with PayPal. DO NOT USE FTD!!!

I finally received the flowers I bought Yesterday. They are wilted and Not what I ordered. The orchids are brown and petals falling (Didn't order Orchids), daisies are crushed, Roses are brown on the ends. Why would you deliver flowers in such horrible condition? I paid extra $27 (total of $100) to have them delivered the previous day. They were not, although FTD tried to tell me they were delivered by email and call. I never left the house and I have two dogs who bark like crazy so I know I didn't miss them! The flowers sold at Krogers are fresher and only $12.99! Very Disappointed and Angry!!!!

I ordered same day flowers very early in the morning for a special occasion. They took my money, but did not deliver them. They sent an email that they did. I had to make several calls to outsourced customer service that struggled with English, send 3 emails, and two chats to get it delivered the second day. If I hadn’t demanded to speak with a supervisor that wouldn’t have happened. I will never use FTD again. I will go straight to the vendor and not have to pay a service charge for no service!!

I placed the order to arrive Friday by 6pm on the recipient's birthday!!! First of all someone called the office and asked if the recipient could just come pick these up as they’d be late and she would get them until Monday anyways! Secondly they arrived late! Thirdly I could have went to a grocery store and got better flowers than the pathetic arrangement that arrived... The security guard called me about how poorly they looked!!! By Monday all sunflowers were dead and the roses look wilted! The receptionist at my office has taken upon herself to share the bad experience with others and I’d say no one will be doing business moving forward. I’m very embarrassed and shocked that a named company that is suppose to have a good reputation would put out such bad products and service. After I contacted customer support regarding this, I went to check the status it says my order number is now not valid... How interesting!

I ordered flowers for an employee per my boss, and used his card to pay. The delivery date was the next day, but after a week they hadn't arrived. I checked the FTD Website, and it said the flowers had been delivered. I called FTD Customer Service and they said the delivery was never made because the florist had to close due to COVID.
At that point I cancelled the order and asked for a refund of the charge. After a week, nothing had been done. I emailed FTD Customer Service to find out what was happening, and got an email back stating the cancellation was done and the refund would be on the card within 7-10 days. No refund. I've emailed FTD Customer Service -- again! -- to ask them to let me know the last four digits of the card they applied the refund to. If I don't get satisfaction within 48 hours, I'm going to have boss dispute the charge. I am never using FTD again. I wish I'd known how unreliable they are before I'd placed that order!

Ordered flowers at 8:30AM and paid extra for same day delivery. I even called FTD a few hours later just to make sure there where no issues and that they would be delivered same day for a birthday gift. The assured me they would be there, Well never came! Called them back and it's like they don't even hear you talking and just say will get them delivered the next day. I called 5 times before actually just giving up and calling my credit card company to dispute the charge since I asked them several times to just cancel the order since they were unable to fulfill the delivery date. Very useless customer service and I will never order or recommend them to anyone. Oh and also after my last attempt they said my order number isn't any good so someone obviously removed it so no one can verify my complaint!

Same experience as so many others have reported. The flowers did not arrive when they were supposed to - even though marked as delivered. That was day before Thanksgiving. I called at 4:30 pm (when they said it had been delivered) and they promised me delivery by noon next day (Thanksgiving). Didn't arrive. I called again and they promised me by 2 pm. Nothing happened. I called again, asked to speak to a supervisor who said probably no florist was available for delivery on Thanksgiving.
If I had been told that the day before I still could have gotten flowers on my own. They apologize over and over, reading from a script. They keep promising an upgrade. They lie. Oh - and please don't respond to this by saying 'we don't want you to be disappointed'. There used to be a reputable company with this name which is why I used them. Clearly it has changed to a sleazy company that very often doesn't deliver (judging by the reviews of others). They still told me yesterday (Thanksgiving day), "Oh don't worry, we'll deliver them tomorrow with a free upgrade." I told them they do me no good the day after Thanksgiving. I have cancelled the order, better not be charged. They are a fraud company. Wish I had thought to check out the reviews first!

Okay fine, I can appreciate that. They couldn’t let me know so I could go elsewhere?? But it gets better, they offered to send flowers in a box, arrangement of their choosing a week late. The heck with FTD. There are other options out there.

I ordered a plant for my sister's memorial service 4 days in advance. On the day of the service I received a text that the plant was out for delivery. One hour before the service I received a call that they were unable to fill my order and would I like to have them deliver a floral arrangement instead or wait till the plant was in stock and have it delivered. I will never again use this service as this is 3 orders in a row they have either changed from what was ordered or never delivered. This was last straw.

I placed an order of birthday flowers for my mother in law. I get a confirmation email that they will arrive the following Saturday. I paid for shipping and everything. She never received them. I called FTD, and kept getting a runaround about "they will leave a message with the florist". I called them 3 different times that day, and kept getting the same answer. The next day was her actual birthday, and still did not receive them. FTD kept giving me the runaround. Finally, they said the driver dropped the vase and broke everything, and they could not replace it until later in the week. THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE! I understand people have accidents, I get it. But to tell me, you cannot replace it until later in the week, UNACCEPTABLE! I WILL NEVER USE FTD services again, and their Customer Service is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!

November 2020 - upon the sudden death of my brother. I placed an order with FTD for flowers to be delivered for my brother's viewing and funeral. After receiving confirmation of the order, several hours later I get an email stating they (FTD) could not deliver the flowers by the date I needed. I had to cancel the order. I went searched online and found ProFlowers (not realizing that they were part of FTD), so because of my first experience I decided to phone them first to see if they could deliver. Over the phone I was assured and promised that yes, the flowers could be delivered and they would arrive on time on the date needed. So I went ahead and placed the order with them which was confirmed by email stating delivery.
Wow, was I shocked to receive another email stating that they too could not deliver the flowers. It was then that I realized that they were with FTD too. By now it was too late to do anything more. So there were no flowers from myself and the brothers and sisters of the deceased; we were not able, because of Covid, to travel to the funeral. I am amazed at the poor service of such a supposedly reputable company.

These people are scam artists. I will never do business with them ever again!!! First they screwed up my flower order and refused to fix it. Horrible. Second I was supposed to receive United Mileage Plus points as a part of this order. They told me I needed to wait 6-8 weeks to receive those points. What that means is they are confident that in 6-8 weeks I will have forgotten about it, they have no plans to give me what they promised. So it has been over 9 weeks since the order was delivered and I called them. I asked what third world country I was calling and they refused to tell me.
Understand this, I don't care what country I call, I only want them to be competent and I need to understand them. Neither was available. I could barely understand some woman who told me I needed to wait another 6-8 weeks to get my points. I asked to to talk with a supervisor, Carlos and Carlos was even harder to understand, barely intelligible, just barely. He told me the same thing. Horrible people who I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH AGAIN!!!

I ordered an 'Exquisite' sized 'Best Day Bouquet' arrangement for my daughter's baby shower for delivery 17th October. We are in the UK and very sad we were unable to attend the celebration. I selected the largest arrangement at $85 (plus handling and taxes) but the flowers that were delivered certainly weren't the showcase display I expected from the image on the website. There was not the same number of stems or variety of flowers. The flowers certainly weren't worth what was paid. Even more disappointingly, the company have NOT responded to my comments by the email address I was issued. I WOULD NOT recommend this company in future.

I have recently used FTD for a birthday delivery. I tried them last year and the delivery got there a week late. This time I ordered 4 days early and the delivery made it two days late again and only got there because I made 3 calls pushing them to do what I paid 90$ for! I will NEVER use them again!

In a nutshell, my five experiences contacting customer service in three different ways was totally unacceptable. My flower delivery was three days late, but the money had cleared my account. During those three days I was promised five times that someone would get back to me. Not once did that happen. The flowers, which were delivered three days late and after business hours, were gorgeous, which is about the florist, not the FTD service. I will contact the florist directly next time and skip this nightmare.

I placed an order on 10/15 before noon for flowers to be delivered today, 10/16 for Boss Day from the team I work with. I thought at the least they would make the delivery cut-off time by 8pm PDT. By 8:10pm I still did not receive confirmation that the flowers were delivered. I called FTD’s toll free number which connected me to what sounded like an overseas answering service reading off of a script. I informed the representative that the flowers were not delivered yet. I was then told that they will attempt to contact the florist to see if the delivery was still en route and if not would it be okay to deliver tomorrow, 10/17 and they would inform the florist to add more flowers to the arrangement at no charge. I was told that they would follow up with a call or email. It’s 9:33pm and still no confirmation that an attempt was even made. No words can truly express my disappointment!

I ordered a floral arrangement and a balloon for my sister in law for her birthday. She sent me the arrangement and it is total different then what was advertised on their page. The balloon was not delivered. I e-mailed them about this and asked for a refund. I included a picture to show them the difference and quality and they told me they were going to contact the florist for I don’t know what reason. I am still waiting to see on how they will resolve the issue even though I asked them for a refund.

I was told that my order was canceled and that my bank account was refunded on September 12, as of today September 29 there has been no refund in my account. I have contacted customer service several times and I get the same answer that it was refunded and to check with my bank. I have checked with my bank several times. I am very disappointed with this company. They have been no help at all.

I ordered 18 red roses and in a vase to be delivered to my girlfriend. They only delivered 12 roses and the vase had a crack in it. The vase leaked all over the table they put it on. Luckily nothing was ruined from the it. I contacted FTD through their website. They took a month to respond, but offered to resend the flowers asking for the date I would like them delivered. I responded and the flowers never got delivered. I've emailed them several times since and they have not responded at all.

I placed an order for a floral bouquet for my daughter having her first child during covid-19. I wanted to send her something from home since her family could not be with her. We live 1200 miles apart and I wanted this to be special for her to make her feel like we were with her still during this special time for her. I placed an order and had it sent the same day, and costs about $100. She received it the same day, evening actually, and I was livid after seeing the picture of this bouquet of flowers. It was NOT representative of the picture in the least.
I called FTD the next morning to complain, they sent a complaint to the florist in Pittsburgh, and they had the nerve to say it was "adequately" arranged to the picture. If that's the best they can do, then I will pay my 3 year old grandchildren $100 to make it for me next time. I will NEVER use ftd again for anything. So needless to say, she received crap work, florist would not remake to look like the picture, and I requested a refund which was last resort since the florist would not make it right.

I was sent what was supposed to be a beautiful arrangement of succulents from my family. The day it arrived, it was a pile of dirt. It was clear the box had been thrown around many times and there was no covering on the plant arrangement (which was shipped in a tall box) so it was literally a pile of dirt with dead succulents in it. The redelivery was the same box of dirt. Made huge messes in my house both times. Try #3: there is a “shipping issue” and UPS never gets the plant. Try #4: there is another “shipping issue” and UPS never received the package.
Tried to talk to customer service and all they say is that they will try to deliver again and can’t do anything else, can’t contact the florist or UPS, can’t make a note for anyone. Just a “redeliver” option. Oh and every box also needs a signature so I need to plan to be home each time.... The senders (who are not tech savvy) feel awful and I feel awful. This was supposed to be a nice gift. Please order from somewhere else and save yourself the headache....

I ordered expensive flowers for my friend’s birthday. Specifically picked this bouquet because of the variety in color and the pretty pink vase. What she got was monotone, vase not as pictured. I live in Japan now and recently I had a dear family member who died. Due to state of the world I could not travel back to the States to attend his service. Now I ordered standing arrangement well before the service, and I expected it to show up on time. However, the flowers arrived 3 hours after the service was finished, so they arrived at a funeral home for no reason. Now I contacted customer service and got one reply, asking if I wanted more flowers, which I didn't besides my family just lived through the funeral and I really did not need to remind that someone buried their child again, and that I could not even get flowers there when they were needed. So I asked for a refund and I have not heard from them again. Since then I have sent seven emails and all have been ignored. It is getting to the point where I am thinking of other avenues to get my refund.
I am writing this review for two points, first if you are thinking about using this service, don't. Second, if you did and had a similar experience as I did, do not allow them to get away with it. During times of pain, and suffering like a death of a loved one, we should not allow people to rob us or cheat us during our times of weakness. We should not just mark it up as "that's how the cookie crumbles". Because this type of shameless poor customer service would not be allowed in any other part of the world and we should not have to deal with it as well.

I ordered flowers for my daughter in law on the 1st August 2020. Admittedly I made a mistake with the Address. The Monday I emailed the correct details. ON the 5th August I got an email from them stating that, "The requested changes had been made. A new email reflecting the changes will be sent shortly. I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday which of course never arrived on the scheduled day. I contacted customer support asking for a refund since the event was over and them arriving on a different day was pointless. I was given an apology and told I'd be given an upgrade instead to make up for it. I accepted, but the next day the original order was delivered instead and customer support stopped responding to emails except with a copy and paste message telling me I have $10 off my next purchase with a generic url link anyone could use.
I wanted a refund after the flowers never arrived and instead I got bait and switched. Honestly one of the worst experiences I've had with a company and the customer support ended up making it worse by lying to me. Photos attached are of the original response I received after asking for a refund, followed by the emails taking it back the next day.

I ordered a very nice looking flower planter of colorful flowers and greenery called the garden planter for a funeral. After ordering online I called the 800 number to verify the order to ensure it was received and that the correct arrangement was listed. After receiving the 100% guarantee over the phone I awaited the delivery. What was delivered was 100% different to what I ordered. The appearance was not even close. All of the flowers were changed, all of the greenery was changed and the nice white basket was replaced with an ugly burnt orange ceramic bowl.
When we called to tell FTD they delivered the wrong arrangement FTD stated that it was simply a case a replacing the flowers, greenery and planter most likely due to the "local" florist not having the products needed to produce what I ordered. What FTD is saying is you might as well call them and tell them to pick something out, anything, and deliver it. And oh by the way can I pay a premium price for the dollar store material you sent? DO NOT USE FTD. They are horrible and their customer service response is OH WELL BUYER BEWARE. After reading the reviews (after I ordered) I have to ask. How are they still in business?

I ordered Flower for my best friend's Mother's Funeral and to have them delivered before the Funeral. The flowers did not arrive. I received an email notification from FTD stating the flowers arrived, as this was not true. I tried contacting FTD about this and discovered they are unreachable via phone or email. Therefore, I had to call my Credit Card company to file a dispute. Overall, it is very sad to see FTD poorly managed like this where they are lying about a deliveries and making it impossible for one contact them to resolve matters. I will certainly never use them again and make it very well known to others of what happened.

I ordered a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my mother-in-law for her birthday. The bouquet had roses, lilies and very little greenery. A very full bouquet. I received a call from her saying that the roses were already wilting and the whole bouquet had a moldy type of smell. What she got was mostly big green leaves, 4 roses and a few tulips. I was disgusted and embarrassed that she had to call me. I called them and told them I had pictures. They didn't want to see the pictures. They offered me a new delivery and a 10% back. I said no way. I told them to pick up the flowers and give me a full refund. They gave me the full refund. I will never order from them again. Buyers beware!!!!

I placed two orders last Monday night and they said they'll deliver next day. They immediately charged my credit card but never confirmed the order nor its delivery. Four days later I tracked my order and their system was not even recognizing the order number and when I tried to track the order, after spending one hour on the phone, the girl who was helping me, non-English speaking had such a strong accent that was so difficult to follow her. Then I tried to email them but again their system could not recognize their own issued order number. I am amazed how horrible is their customer service for a company of that size. Extremely frustrating!!! I'll have to find another company for my online orders.

I will tell you that before writing this review and deciding to tell my story I did try to rectify the situation with FTD directly. I don’t go around writing bad reviews. In fact I would much rather give credit where credit is due than give a bad review. That being said, I had the worst experience ordering flowers for my sister-in-law. There was a death in her family and I wanted the same day delivery. I paid extra for the same day delivery and picked a bouquet that I thought would be lovely. When the flowers did arrive I was so disappointed not only in the size of the arrangement which was about 1/4 of the size that I paid for but also in the quality of flowers. If I can attach images here I will do. You can see the difference between the flowers that I ordered and the ones that were delivered.
I called to complain and was told it would be rectified and a new delivery we go out. I never received a call nor did my sister-in-law and receive new flowers. I called again and was assured again that it was being taken care of and she would receive the new flowers within 24 hours. I was told I would be refunded my same day delivery fee. That did happen but my sister-in-law never received her flowers. I refuse to call them again and be told that this will be taken care of. I am beyond disgusted at this situation. Since I don’t live close to family I tend to order flowers for different occasions lots of times. I will never again use FTD. I’ve never had a worse experience. If they were not going to deliver the correct arrangement as agreed, I should have been issued a full refund. I would have never purchased flowers of the quality and type (Mostly Carnations!) that we’re delivered.

I ordered the Aqua Escape Bouquet for delivery on 5/18/20 to my aunt. The delivered bouquet looked nothing like the picture and did not even come with the aqua vase. I understand that there could be some flower substitutes, but this wasn't even close. I called to complain and was only asked if I wanted it to be redelivered, however, the person on the phone could not tell me if the bouquet that I actually ordered would be delivered or just another ugly substitute. I was so embarrassed about the bouquet I reached out to my aunt and apologized. She responded by giving me the name of a local florist for future reference. I have tried to reach out to FTD and even sent them an actual picture of the bouquet that was delivered but have received absolutely no response.

The website offered 4 levels of bouquet, and I ordered the most expensive thinking it would match the price, but what I got would have been unimpressive at the bargain tier. When I called to complain I was told they would redeliver the next day. It has been more like 10 days now and they are telling me they are doing the best they can, but the local florist isn't getting back to them, so I have nothing. I (over) paid FTD, not the local shop. My uncle died, I wanted to send my aunt flowers the same day. FTD used to be a trusted brand, I guess things have changed. Oh they gladly took my money. $170! About an hour later they sent me an email saying it wouldn't be delivered today, but tomorrow, which will be too late to beat the funeral. And their remedy for this? They want to give me $10. THE NEXT TIME I ORDER FLOWERS! Now mind you, they took $22 in service fees to deliver it and deliver it today, but they're going to offer me $10... IN THE FUTURE! How generous of them! So now I'm mad, and I call because I can't find any way to cancel the order online - and I want to use someone else.
The clearly bored woman who answers the phone puts me on hold, then proceeds to tell me she can't cancel the order or refund my money because she is in possession of an email from the delivery people that claims they contacted me and that I agreed to the following: 1) they can deliver it whenever they want and 2) they don't have to deliver the flowers I picked, they can pick whatever they want. Does that sound like something anybody in their right mind would say? Yeah, well that's because I DIDN'T. Somebody at this worthless company just straight-up wrote fan fiction about my order.
If you're thinking I got a profuse apology and an immediate refund after telling the bored woman I did no such thing, well... I've got some bad news for you. And me. I'll actually be shocked to get any refund at all (they supposedly gave me $17 back of the $22 they charged me for delivery of the $148 flower arrangement that I now didn't pick) and more shocked if the flowers are even delivered at all. Not that I had a choice, they flat refused to refund or cancel, even though it's only been an hour since the order. The way I see it, this company has basically stolen $148 from me. NEVER, EVER AGAIN.

Delivery a flower basket to a funeral on Saturday which was ordered on Wednesday. The florist did not deliver so completely missed its purpose. Have written 3 mails to FTD, no reply - mail box is an unmonitored inbox - tried to use contact phone number, no reply due to technical issues. Sending flowers is a very emotional product and you should count on the company to deliver a promise - not with FTD - horrendous service - I will never use them again!!! Paid by credit card and afterwards no replies - easy money earned.

I recently ordered flowers, on a Saturday, to be delivered on the next day, paying the 17.99 delivery fee/service fee. I checked the status of my order twice on Sunday, but just saw a statement saying it could take till 9pm to deliver. I didnt think much of it, sure it would be delivered on time. Today, monday, I got an email at 10am saying the order was going to be delayed, to be delivered today. There was also a 10$ off coupon in the email, but I find that to be a pretty hollow offering.
I also received a phone call from customer support, but couldnt answer it. They left a cryptic voicemail which stated to call them back about my order and go to option 2, with saying nothing about the delay. When I called back and hit option 2 it told me to go to the website and check the status, then hung up on me. I cannot see how a flower delivery service can ask to to pay such a large delivery/service fee then, not only delay the order by a day, but also not inform you until 10am the day after it was supposed to be delivered. The $10 off coupon they gave as an apology seems less then useless, as I won't use FTD again if this is how they operate.

I wanted to make you aware of a situation that transpired around mother's day. I was trying to send my mom flowers and forgot until the Friday before. I tried numerous flower sites, your site was the only one saying they could deliver them on Saturday the day before mother's day. I figured this was better than late, so I ordered them, paying an extra $25.00 for the service, thinking it's worth it.
Well, no flowers were ever delivered, the tracking showed that they hadn't even been shipped still by Sunday, mother's day, so I requested it be cancelled. This is the first year that my 85 year old mom didn't get flowers for Mother's day, so I thought you should know how heartbreaking it was, as she is in Delaware and we are in PA. Your website promised something and didn't deliver and it is awful. Disgraceful. Not an email, not a call, even after I sent emails with order issues. I want you to be aware that I have used your site plenty of times in the past but will never use it again. I will make a point of telling everyone that I know not to use this site because of this.

I bought flowers for my mom from this company and they were delivered to the wrong address. I called customer service and was told that I was wrong and the flowers were at my mother’s door because it was in the system as being delivered. I get it was UPS’s fault and not theirs, however they didn’t even try to work with me. They simply told me I was wrong multiple times instead of trying to get to the root of the issue and find a solution.
After that I was supposed to be transferred to another department, but was put on hold for 2+hours. My mom didn’t get her flowers until 2 days later after her neighbor showed up at her door and handed them to her saying it was on her doorstep. What if my neighbor hadn’t noticed in time and the flowers were wilted? (keep in mind a lot of people are barely leaving their houses for anything because of covid so this could very well have happened). My money would have been wasted. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt so I contacted customer service and a person named Jeffery replied to assist me, I sent him an email back and haven’t heard anything since & it’s been 2+ weeks, so I sent a follow up and still nothing. Why have customer service email and hotline if they’re not going to do anything??? I want a full refund for terrible customer service.

I ordered $150 worth of flowers/chocolates from them to be delivered for her birthday. She got a text message first thing in the morning (which shows they had her correct number) but then nothing. I got an email saying that the delivery was attempted but could not be made because "nobody was available." I called customer service and they made multiple attempts to reach the flourish. Nothing. Then the customer service person said, "yeah, it might be delivered tomorrow." Ummm, her birthday is today, not tomorrow. By the way, still nothing has been delivered. If you use this company, be warned.

Charged me and did not deliver the flowers. This is a despicable company. I ordered flowers to be delivered for my friend's arrival to the states May 23. This was a special occasion. A housewarming.. Not only did they not deliver. They charged me for the flowers. I had to call customer service five times with no resolution three days later. There are so many other options. The Bouqs does a beautiful job. That's who I will be calling next. I will never use Ftd again. Flowers are usually sent to commemorate special occasions and you destroyed what should have been a happy arrival. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I ordered 2 dozen red long stem roses for my wife on our 1st anniversary. The flowers were marked as delivered and we're not delivered. I called and spoke to someone who spoke so little English that I could not understand her. I had thought she said she contacted the florist and they would deliver another 2 dozen to the correct address. Which was correct on the order by the way. Later on after no confirmation or anything from them I called back. The lady I spoke that time said all she could do was leave a message with the florist, and that is all the last lady did. No one could track where the roses were delivered to or even get ahold of FTD's florist. They refused to do anything else for me, and there are still no roses.

I ordered a mother's day bouquet and received a confirmation that they would be delivered on time. The order did not arrive as promised, and when I called customer service (the chat function was not available), I was told the order was canceled! No call, no email, no notification at all! After an hour on the phone, having been transferred to the wrong departments several times, I was told that someone from their sales department would call me to tell me what my options were... I never received that call. I found out by tracking my order that they selected another bouquet, without my input, and shipped it. That order did not arrive either! I have not received any word from this joke of a business, nor have I received a refund. They have taken my money and have not delivered a single item I paid for. I will never, ever give FTD another penny.

I'm not using your company never again. The vase on the flowers I chose on the website was not the same vase my family received. Appearance was the key for this particular order. My goal was to send the best looking flowers. You sent the flowers in a different vase,... I chose those flowers because I loved the way the vase looked with them. I ordered a floral delivery for today for my niece who was receiving her FINAL chemotherapy treatment this morning. It is now past 9:00 PM and no delivery. I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am in FTD. This is not something that can be fixed. The opportunity to brighten her day and the end of a long and difficult journey has been MISSED.
I tried calling customer service and was disconnected after hearing the message to use online chat for assistance. I tried online chat (available 24/7 according to the website), to get a message that I should CALL customer service as "There are currently no agents available online to chat". Tried the email option on the website as well, and guess what....no email option!!!! Nice runaround to a customer whose money you already have. I'll be contacting my credit card next to dispute the charge. What HORRIBLE customer service. No wonder this company has filed bankruptcy. I will never again order from FTD, and I will share this event with everyone I know so they think twice before doing business with this company.

Over the period of a week and a half I called and spoke with FTD customer service representatives three times. The first two said they would follow up and never did nor did they get back to me. The third time I demanded a refund and to speak with a supervisor. I got the refund and was told there conveniently was no supervisor. I don't know when the roses were packaged, but the leaves were already curled and dry, the petals on the roses were curled and dropping off....certainly not the gift of thoughtfulness and love intended. When I emailed FTD I received an email a few days later saying they would respond when they could. The email address was not valid when I re-emailed 11 days later. Customer service gave me another email address that also was not valid. I am infuriated. I didn't want to disappoint my son, but I just called him and advised him to dispute this with his credit card company and not pay...but the arrogance of FTD is not to be believed! Maybe they have been in business too long to care!!!!

I called customer service and they were very rude and unapologetic to my issue. The lady I was on the phone with was on the phone with me for 30 minutes putting me on brief holds. I asked if she can let me speak to her supervisor and she told me no. For a company that is suppose to arrange and deliver flowers they aren’t very good at their job. Furthermore I get emails from their customer service department almost every day offering to reduce the price on my purchase. It’s been two weeks that this has happened and I’m over it. I ordered flowers on FTD for Mother's Day. The flowers were never delivered. After spending hours on the phone, FTD refused to send another bouquet, even though they were supposed to be delivered five days prior. I finally got them to agree to a refund; I was to be refunded my total of $42.80. I received a refund for only $12.80. When I called to ask why, they wouldn't refund the "delivery fee" that was charged, a delivery fee for a product that was never delivered. I hope I can warn potential customers to stay far away from this company; I will never be doing business with them again. I hesitate to call a company a "scam," but this company certainly fits the bill.

Second, many of the flowers I received were already dead or dying. Who wants to give their mother dead flowers on Mother’s Day? I know I didn’t. I called immediately after receiving my flowers to get a refund and the Customer Care Rep hung up on me the first time. So I had to call a second time to get through to someone to give me my money back. So I called the customer service number and was told I would get a refund of my delivery charge but the flowers would still be sent on 5/13. I called customer service back and was told my order could be canceled and I would get a full refund but my flowers were not available!!! No email no nothing I had to pay for rush shipping from another company for delivery today for my mom to get flowers!!! My daughter sent me flowers for Mother’s Day. The flowers were delivered to the wrong address by an error on the part of FTD. She was on hold for almost one hour before reaching someone. They corrected the error of the address and resent the flowers which went to the same wrong address for the 2nd time!!! When I called back to inform them I still had not received the order, I was told they could resend the flowers (3rd attempt) but not until May 19th...that’s 9 days past Mother’s Day. I told them they could forget the order and any future business from me or my daughter.

Placed an order on Friday for a Sunday delivery for Mother's day. Specifically for the mother of my boss at my brand new job. Came Monday, I did not have a confirmation email that the flowers were sent. Panicked, I called immediately. I was told they were delivered despite not having an email confirmation. Can you imagine my position when my boss called me an hour later asking what happened with the flowers - that his mother never received them? I felt as though hot water was poured over my head at how incompetent this made me seem... How is this man supposed to have any confidence in me given, seemingly, I can't even ensure his mother gets flowers on Mother's day - that he paid almost 160 bucks for??
When I called them back I found out that they were actually not delivered but they would be received by 7 pm that evening. Tuesday morning, again no confirmation email. I must have called and waited to speak with a representative at least 5 or 6 times - each time getting disconnected when asking to speak with a supervisor (because I was unable to understand the reps with their heavy accents (no judgement, I'm an immigrant myself)).
When I finally got someone on the line that that I could understand I was told that the florist advised them delivery would be made by 9 pm. This morning, Wednesday, three days after Mother's day, the flowers were still not delivered. I cancelled the order. I never received a confirmation email for that either. So basically, if you're looking to order seemingly beautiful flowers that may or may not get delivered nevermind on the day you intend them to be received, and if you're looking to deal with customer service reps you may or may not be able to understand then this is your company. Of the handful of reviews I've written in my life, I think all positive, I resent having to leave such a negative review but if it can save someone else from my terrible experience, and disappointment of those you're trying to make happy, then it's worth it.

On May 6, I received an email saying they were unable to secure a local florist and I should respond to the email with my choice of option: 1) Deliver my order on or before Wednesday, May 13th (late), with a $10 refund applied to your order), or 2) Cancel my order and refund me in full + a $10.00 discount off a future purchase. I chose to have the flowers delivered on or before Wednesday, May 13. (It's the thought that counts, right?) And responded with my selection to the email address they specified, also asking for an ETA.
On May 13, I called customer service to check on the order. When I called, the representative said a florist could not fulfill my order and it would be canceled. Why had they told me via email that they could? Why didn't I receive notification? If I hadn't called to check, would I have ever been notified that my order wasn't fulfilled? These were Mother's Day flowers for my mom who lives across the country. Because of COVID-19 guidelines and travel restrictions, we were not able to be together and I was hoping these flowers would make her smile. I'm very disappointed in Groupon and FTD after this experience, and I don't recommend anyone order flowers through them.

I purchased two bouquets for Mother’s Day. Neither order made it on time. I was offered a delivery for 9 days later. When the flowers arrived, they looked NOTHING like the photo and did not include the note I wrote. Unacceptable. Never again!

Once after it said it was out for delivery but didn’t receive the flowers til after Mother’s Day! Not to mention the flowers were wilted!! I emailed them a couple times and never got a response. In short, I ordered flowers for my future mother-in-law for Mother’s Day... And the flowers never showed up. Do I have to explain to anybody how incredibly bad that made me look?!! If this wasn’t bad enough, the same thing happened a year and a half ago when I send flowers to my girlfriend. And the flowers never showed up then either. Not having the flower show up was one thing, going through weeks and weeks of trying to get my money back was quite another. This time I called my credit card company and cancel the charge. I tried to give FTD the benefit of the doubt, and ordered from them again. A mistake on my part that I won’t repeat! If you have an important event and you need a trustworthy Flower company to deliver flowers on time DONT PICK FTD....

Spent over $200.00 for flowers and a gift basket for a delivery, since my mom is out of state. (Mother's Day 2020). Website and representative who took my order assured delivery May 9th, a day prior (both flowers& gift basket). Only opening. Sure, better early than late. Flowers were delivered, received an email, that gift basket would arrive on the 11th of May, Monday.
I call FTD, (May 10th, Mother's day evening) the man on the phone says he's been receiving calls all day and is so sorry (he's only a messenger). Ultimately he hangs up after he says he would be able to refund $30.00 shipping however is locked out of my account specifically and cannot give me his name, direct #, or even an employee id #. I called back on Monday, a female, I can hardly hear her and her English is extremely poor, after stating she can refund me .54 cents, and I'm trying to confirm in disbelief, she also hangs up on me. Poor customer service.???

To make a long story short, Sunday came and went and no flowers. They are horrible and irresponsible. Please don't order anything from this unreliable company!!! Today I get an email saying they can’t deliver at all. What a terrible company. If you can’t meet an order don’t take the order. And don’t take the money either. Don’t use FTD, I sure won’t ever again.

Zero Updates. 60 Minute Hold time on their customer service phone number. Disgraceful. If your vendors cannot handle the capacity don't take our money! First time in 30 years my mother (who is 90) didn't receive flowers on Mother's Day. Absolutely unacceptable. Other companies made deliveries----run from FTD.com. NEVER AGAIN. I ordered flowers for delivery on 9 May. By 8pm on 10 May (Mother's Day) the flowers had still not been delivered. I contacted FTD, left a message and they still haven't responded. As of noon on 11 May, the flowers have still not arrived. I strongly recommend against using FTD for your flower needs. They are unreliable and non-responsive.

I ordered flowers for Mother's Day a week prior. Got an email from them confirming the order and the payment, almost $200 Canadian. Flowers never arrived. Monday I try to call them to get them to cancel and refund the order. Was cut off after almost an hour on hold. Brought up the email confirming delivery which prompts you to hit reply if there is anything incorrect about the order. Emailed them to cancel and refund the order. Got an immediate email back saying that that email address goes to an unmonitored mail account and prompted me to go to the website. On the website clicking on "email us" merely brings up your order status. Found an email address through Google for their customer service department. Emailed them and got the same response as the first email - not a monitored account. Hopeless failure and had to sit on hold for an hour to the credit card company to reverse the charges. NEVER use them again.

I will never order from FTD again. I ordered my mom flowers for Mother's Day. The vase arrived completely shattered and it cut her hand. This order of roses, which cost over $100, then wilted within 12 hours. I called asking for a refund and the lady was very rude but finally said they would refund me. I realized I never got a confirmation e-mail so I called back and it turns out she did not process a refund and they had no record of this conversation. I then had to call AGAIN, and after another 20 minutes of being placed on hold and convincing the guy I did not want to replace them, I was finally able to get a refund. I Would not recommend to anyone. Very expensive for inadequate service.

Just got my Mother's Day flowers from my son and was very disappointed. Three of the roses' heads fell off as soon as I unwrapped them. I feel so bad for my son because I know he spent a lot of money on these flowers to make his mom happy. Then I called FTD to let them know about the problem and was on hold for over 40 minutes only to have the call disconnect before anyone answered. I would not use them since it doesn't seem like they care about their customers.

I placed an order on 05/06/2020 to be delivered to my grandma in another state on 05/08/2020, for mother’s day. I clicked track order and put my order number in many times on 05/08 and the status remained as order received. I checked again on 05/09 and the same result. THEY NEVER DELIVERED MY GRANDMA’S FLOWERS.
I called customer service and after 30 minutes I get someone on the line. She proceeds to tell me that there is an issue and the order was not completed. I advised her that FTD charged me over $80 for flowers that were never delivered. She then told me I need to cancel the order on my end and reorder as now it's due to an internal issue. I told her I cant do this as there is no option to cancel and they need to refund my money. She transferred me and I sat on hold again for 45 minutes and no one answered so I disconnected the call. I clicked the link "issue with my order" and requested a full refund since they had no intent on delivering my order. I still havent heard anything and the charges are still on my card

FTD did a great job ruining Mother's Day. The company does not care about quality or timeliness. Not only did my flowers arrive a day late, but the flowers were rotting upon arrival. The flowers were supposed to arrive in bud form as pictured in the following url: **. There is a major discrepancy between the flowers pictured on FTD.com and what you actually receive in reality, which amounts to false advertisement. Don't waste your time or your money on FTD, support a local florist that actually cares about the quality of your flowers and can meet your desired delivery date. I thought supporting a company that has been around for decades would be trustworthy, I was very wrong. I've used different florist delivery sites through the years. I decided to go with FTD because they have been around for so long. I ordered 3 fairly large arrangements for Mother's Day to be delivered. At the florist's discretion they cheaped out on the arrangements. I used to work at a florist and I know the tricks & value of arrangements. They sent my step-mom a small arrangement that looked NOTHING like the photo on line. The other 2 arrangements were a little better but not much. FTD needs to follow up with quality control on these florist shops. On a good note, the customer service was very helpful, and gave me 1/2 my money back.

Mother's Day is a day when I would rather be celebrating over the phone with my mother about how overjoyed she is to be receiving a flower arrangement from me purchased by FTD, but instead it only left me upset and unable to do anything for her and feeling helpless. I purchased an arrangement to be sent to my mother on May 9th with the understanding that the delivery times would be between 9 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and during a holiday, possibly 9:00 p.m. I knew there would be an email sent to me when this was done and I also kept checking the order status with no change. I stayed up until 11:00 p.m.
On Mother's Day, I called customer service, only to get someone on the other line that I could barely understand or hear only to tell me that she could not tell me why or where the order was??? She could not even tell me what was happening??? This was hardly acceptable!! Why was this happening and why on this day?? This is something that I wanted to do for my mother and she deserved something beautiful for mother's day. I told the women to refund my account due the fact that she did not seem to be able to help me in any way and did not know where or what happened to my order. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever dealt with and does not reflect well on a company that is suppose to bring happiness around the world.

I would never use FTD again. They are a broker for flowers and they do not check flowers before they are going out. I used them for Mother’s Day flowers and they used a grocery store to fill them. The flowers were brown and dead when they went to my mother. The “card” that was sent was a 8.5x11 sheet of paper that was hole punched. When I called FTD they offered me a 20% discount and I pressed for a full refund. They said they would have to contact the florist (Vons grocery) to get the full refund. I knew where the flowers came from because it was printed on the bottom of the paper. Then I had to drive to the grocery store to show them the flowers and get them to ok the refund to FTD. So the short of the long, I paid $100 for grocery store to give me weeds. Thanks FTD!

On May 6 my husband ordered a bouquet of multicolored roses for me. He had tried to order red but the order would not go through so he ordered the multicolored roses. They arrived on Friday, May 8th and were in terrible shape. Over half of the petals on the pale orange roses fell off while I was removing them from the box. (I was very careful while removing them). There were six pale orange roses, 3 white. 1 pale yellow and 2 red roses in the box. The vase was multi colors of pink! It was clear pink glass that looked like it had several layers of different shades of tissue paper.
It was the ugliest combination I have ever seen. There were no pink roses in the bouquet! I was so shocked that you would send something like that. All of the vases in your pictures are usually clear or a solid clear color. This was awful. I felt like crying because my husband was so proud of ordering the flowers and was excited to see me open them but even he was shocked at what they looked like. Neither I or my husband will ever order any flowers from you again.

I ordered two plants; Lush Tropical Peace Lily in a spotted woven basket & Potted Pink Calla Lily in Make a Wish Planter. The Peace Lily's upon arrival, was an eyesore. Instead of being bright, lively, white flowers, they were half dead, weltering, and brown. The Pink Calla Lily's were bright pink and gorgeous but did not receive the Make a Wish Planter as I requested. Instead, it was a cheap-looking white tin. I put this order in a month in advance and was incredibly disappointed when it wasn't delivered on time and in the lack in the quality of the services. With the high prices for the flowers and delivery, I was expecting better service.

We ordered the Truly Stunning bouquet in their largest size Best Bountiful Blooms for my partner’s mother for Mother’s Day. I’ve attached photos from their website & what was delivered for comparison. I ordered from Australia for delivery to the USA & I am regretful for not asking my partner to use a local trusted florist in his hometown. I was mortified with what was delivered to my future mother in law. When you send flowers, you’re sending a message. Unfortunately our message looked like a 2 year old went on a flower picking rampage!! Exercise extreme caution people. Definitely not worth it and embarrassing to say the very least.

This has been the worst flower arrangement I have ever received through FTD/Pro Flowers. Not only was the bouquet small and was packaged with hardly any flowers at all but there are tiger lilies instead of Peruvian lilies. Also the petals on the Roses were falling off in huge numbers, about 1/3 volume, right out of the box. When the bouquet was placed in the vase it's basically swimming in it, not even remotely close to the picture. I order this bouquet a week in advance so whichever florist was used to fulfill my order was either a last minute pick and had basically thrown a mercy bouquet together to just get the order out and get paid or they are extremely cheap and understocked. This is not a florist that I would ever use in the future as they do not give a good product in the name of ftd.
For the money I've paid I was probably better off hand picking my own bouquet to arrange from my local supermarket. At least you got the card right. FTD's substitution policy turned off. Chat line turned off. Tried to email them and got auto response unmonitored email. Tried to call. Went right to hold and kept the for 20 minutes before hanging up. Had tracking number from UPS since Wednesday but wasn't shipped until Friday.

I ordered what seemed like a beautiful bouquet of flowers which in total cost 97$ (65 for the flowers and 35 for shipping and tax). They sent my mother something that looked NOTHING like the picture. 80% of the flowers were not there. I call customer service and they say they’ll refund the whole amount. They send an email about 10 minutes later saying they’d only refund 67 Of the 97 dollars back. I call again and have to barter with customer service on getting my full refund back. After 20 minutes I got it back. If they would’ve given me the full amount back to begin with I'd shop there again but they tried to keep my money and were shady about it. Will not be ordering from them again.

My mother had heart surgery in the midst of the COVID19 pandemic and we were not able to see her on Mother’s Day because of it. We decided to send her a fabulous arrangement that would brighten her day. She received the flowers much to our delight, however, what she received looked nothing like FTD showed on their site. I ordered the “You’re Precious” arrangement in the largest option. After deliver and fees, we paid a little over $114 for the flowers. What our mom received was some parody of the arrangement itself.
I realize that sometimes flowers come in bud form, but what our mom received was an insult and waste of money! This was a gift for a mother recovering from heart surgery having to stay away from her kids due to a pandemic and home alone because she needs to self isolate at home to keep herself safe! I demand a full refund! I’m appalled, extremely disappointed and WILL NEVER use FTD again! I’ve been on hold with them for over 45 minutes! I’m still on hold as I write this.

Sent my mother a bouquet of roses for Mother’s Day. Paid extra for delivery yesterday, the Friday prior (May 8th). My mom texted me a photo of her bouquet, which was wilted and dropping petals. We hoped that it would perk up overnight as the instructions suggested, but the flowers were much worse and dropping even more petals this morning. We have photo proof. During this time of the Coronavirus pandemic, I wanted my mom to at least enjoy Mother’s Day a little bit with a beautiful flower arrangement (that is frankly overpriced already before the $20 service charge for...I’m not sure what). Instead, we are both severely disappointed.
I got a shipping notification a day ahead of delivery - why wouldn’t this company contract with a local florist for a fresh arrangement instead of shipping boxed flowers in advance from a state away? At least they could justify the service charge that way. I put in for a re-delivery (customer service option) to test quality and will report back. It’s honestly concerning that their customer service seems relegated to a drop-down list of issues on a website. Issues must be pretty common. Do better, FTD. I think in the future I will just call a local florist directly.

On Thursday, May 7, 2020 I ordered the Full of Joy Bouquet (Order No.:**) to be delivered to my daughter-in-law's grandmother in Pasadena, CA. The order was to be delivered on Friday, May 8, 2020. The order went through and payment made...I received a confirmation email and also an email later on Friday saying the delivery was made. However, the delivery was never made. I called FTD last night and spoke to a rude customer service rep who said there was nothing he could do except cancel the order and refund my money. He said it was too late now to get a delivery before Mother's Day. I am so upset and scrambling to find someone to deliver flowers to her. I will never use this service again.

Wishing I'd opened these reviews before ordering from this company. Ordered an overly expensive bouquet which the photographs made look very nice - found out afterwards I'd paid a $20 'service fee' on top of the order which had 'free shipping'. A ridiculous cost that I've been unable to find out anything about since I Checked it on my statement. The flowers arrived from the local flower shop which turned out to be an extremely tacky shop my mother does not like that I would never send her flowers from. Luckily I saw the delivery and cut off the name from the 'card' which was attached and threw away the tacky branded envelope too. The flowers themselves are far smaller than the photographs and description - not an issue of blooming later or anything like that, simply an issue of few stems, small stems, and poor arrangement for that price. Extremely disappointed, wishing I'd ordered from somewhere else.

I had to pay an extra fee for same-day delivery. Pointless. I have tried to contact them. I called and waited on hold for a long time, only to be disconnected once an operator answered. NO help. I wouldn't even rate this experience at 1 star! My mother in law's fiance ordered both flowers and chocolate covered strawberries and they were both supposed to be delivered by 8pm may 7th. She has only received the strawberries and STILL as of 8:26pm May 8th has yet to receive her flowers. We have called multiple times to find out what the delay is and NOBODY has been able to resolve this issue! This is HORRIBLE service...and I mean HORRIBLE. Why say something is going to be delivered one day and not give the reason as to why it hasn't been delivered?! They had NO DELAY in taking this man's money but can keep hanging up and not delivering these flowers! Shame on you FTD!!! I will NEVER, EVER use FTD for my delivery services! Sent the Gardenia potted plant to my Mom for Mother's Day, she received it today. It is so small, no buds, and no flowers on it. There was a paper cut out of what the flower would look like on the plant. Just a green plant. So disappointing for $79.04 ($19.99 in shipping!!!!). Will never again order from FTD, lesson learned.

Ordered 24 Long Stem Roses with Glass Vase for Mothers Day... Roses were of poor quality, awful presentation... Roses were "squeezed" and distorted, tightly wrapped in plastic wrap, a substantial number of leaves and petals fell off immediately once unwrapped. Order included was supposed to include a glass vase, instead the box arrived with the roses as described above and a single, small (approximately 1") piece of broken glass that was clearly from what should have been the glass vase that was otherwise not included. The customer service number has a significant wait and encourages the caller to use the text option on the website... When using the text option, it says no one is available to chat, call the customer service number. I would never use FTD again. 1-800-Flowers, by contrast, executed my order flawlessly.

This entire ordering process has been a hellish nightmare. I ordered two floral bouquets and two boxes of chocolate covered strawberries costing a total of just under $200 to be delivered to my mother in law in MD and my mother in TN. I ordered in plenty of time to have the delivery take place on the 7th of May. The subtotal appeared correct and delivery would be applied in the next screen. As I accepted the order, the delivery charge of $20+ per each item showed up. I called customer service to question a delivery charge on four items but only two deliveries. They initially told me that there was nothing they could do because of "their system". I continued to press for an answer as to why I was paying for four delivery charges when I only had two deliveries. We continued to circle this conversation until I said this was an unfair price gouge and I wanted a supervisor.
The supervisor then told me I could pay $30 additional dollars to receive free shipping. This is an unacceptable practice: however, I did that and received a refund on the excessive shipping charges. On the 7th, my mother in law's delivery went as scheduled; however, my mother's delivery never happened. I received an email stating that they had delivered to the wrong address. I called immediately and was routed to FTD "customer service". After explaining what happened, they accepted no responsibility and offered to redeliver the flowers and chocolates on the Tuesday, two days AFTER Mother's Day. After talking in circles for an hour, I agreed.
My biggest issue with this is that they accepted no responsibility, kept referencing "no way to circumvent their system", acted very nonchalantly and essentially did not care. I escalated three levels before reaching a person who offered to call my mom to apologize or offer me some sort of discount. She offered a coupon, which I refused. I will never use this service again. I would rather pay more and use a different company altogether. Be forewarned.

I received the flowers today, May 8th, 2020. The order number is ** which was Simply Gorgeous Bouquet. I ordered it in Best Bountiful Blooms which was the more expensive one. What I got instead was something smaller. I tried calling FTD and it they hung up on me many times because their chat is not available. And their email is nowhere to be found on their website. I decided to come to Consumer Affairs to make my complaint as I was given a very small flower bouquet than the large one.

I've used FTD and Proflowers before and have generally been satisfied with the quality. But I will never be going back to them again. On Monday, May 4, I placed two orders for flowers to be delivered to my grandmother and mother on Friday, May 8 (Mother's Day being on Sunday). I received two emails at 7:00 pm on Thursday evening stating that each order had been canceled. The exact text: "We sincerely apologize, due to exceptionally high seasonal demand and despite our best efforts we are unable to deliver the product you ordered for the date you requested."
Exceptionally high demand? It's Mother's Day, of course there's strong demand!! I then called customer service to confirm my order was canceled, as their website still showed my order in process. After waiting 30 minutes on the phone, I spoke with someone who was barely audible and completely worthless. Made no effort at all to apologize or offer any future discounts/incentives on future purchases. Good bye, FTD. Hope you're out of business in the next few months.

I ordered flowers for Mother's Day. I ordered the Sunny Sentiment: multiple yellow roses with multiple white daisies, some greens. She got a much cheaper bouquet that looked like it came from a grocery store that had other colors and was, quite honestly, ugly: mums, freesia, carnations and had oranges and reds. Not sure what the florist was thinking other than "gee she wants flowers." They didn't even try to make what I ordered. No yellow roses at all. Many cheap things I didn't want. Just awful. You don't get what you pay for. BUYER BEWARE.

Dropped the ball and didn't deliver wife's 25 year anniversary gift. Can you imagine that happening on your anniversary? Hard to believe they didn't call or anything. Just left me hanging all day. At 9 pm I realized it wasn't coming. Thanks FTD.

This was supposed to be a special occasion and I ordered a full bouquet. Was supposed to have many roses and Lilies and Daisies and I got mostly crap. It looked like it came out a ditch. The stems were all uneven a lot so no shape and had looked to be purple ugly weeds in it no Daisies and a big ugly not supposed to be there Sunflower with just 2 roses. I spent $70 for garbage. The note I kid you not was just a crooked cut piece of blue paper. Very tacky and ugly. No lie. It wasn't even a $10 bouquet. I called because it won't let me email and they leave me on hold forever then tell me they will call me back and yet I still wait. I was so embarrassed by this arrangement and beyond upset. Whoever they used locally obviously really doesn't like them and decided to show it through my arrangement.

I am currently at AIT at Fort Lee for the Army. And since I won't be home for Mothers Day I got my grandmother flowers. My mom sent me a picture of the flowers and they are not in good condition at all.

I ordred the Mom Bear Hugs gift with chocolate, popcorn, etc. There is nowhere on FTD's site that states that the delivery charge would be over $30. I didn't know until after I paid that they had tacked on this outrageous charge. If I had known ahead of time, I would have canceled my order. What makes matters worse, their customer service is atrocious.
After I saw how much the delivery charge was, I immediately tried to cancel but of course, there is nothing on the website about cancelation. It's obvious that they make it very difficult and have no sense of ethics. I'm a single mom and was trying to send my mom something for Mother's Day because I had not in years. It was going to be a surprise but now my experience with FTD has left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm not sure if I will use them again. I'm curious though whether or not the fact that when I was ordering there were no days available for my delivery except in Saturday and Sunday. I find that hard to believe.
