I ordered flowers for my mom for Valentine’s Day. FTD claimed they would deliver them by 8 PM. Tracking all day long showed flowers out for delivery but they never arrived and the tracking update was changed to assigned to florist. When I called to complain customer service suggested that I cancel the order which I did. I’m very disappointed and my mother did not receive her flowers. I will not use FTD again.

Do not use this company. Ordered flowers for 2/13 delivery. Got confirmation of delivery email, but flowers were not delivered. Did not respond to emails, and phone customer service was extremely unhelpful; not only hard to understand the thick Indian accent, but every time I called I got a different story or excuse. Then, on 2/15 I get an email saying they couldn’t deliver because of high volume but would deliver the following week. As if anyone who orders flowers wants them a week later than the scheduled delivery. Completely unreliable, customer service is useless, and they think they can make up for something like that by delivering one week later. Do not buy from them!

Order 170.00 roses! Never delivered Valentine's day, Reordered for the following day. Again never received. Called to cancel, Inaudible customer service people. Wind blowing in the background made it very hard to hear the Indians with very thick accents! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE EVER!!!!

Nightmare experience with FTD. Couldn't deliver on Valentine's Day of all things and the next day they changed the flowers without calling and still didn't deliver by 4 pm. Their customer service was horrific as well and they've made no attempt to solve any of the problems. Truly a disaster ordering via FTD.

In ordered flowers to be sent to my daughter for Valentine's Day. I paid 120.00 dollars which I dont care what they cost. I called on valentine's day to see if they had been delivered. And was told no. At 8:30 last night I called again. They called the florist who said they could deliver. Keep in mind FTD already sent me an email stating they had been delivered. Ftd lied to me. I called today and was put on hold for almost 2 hrs. To be told, "Oh we can send her some flowers that haven't even bloomed yet." I said that's unacceptable. These non English speaking people are a joke. I wish I would have read the reviews sooner. I would have keep my money and spent it with a local florist. This is the second time this company has screwed me over. I will be going to the BBB about all of this. This is one scam company I wish would get shut down. Customer service reps were rude. They didnt care that they ruined the day.

Ordered 1 dozen roses to be delivered on Valentine's Day for my girlfriend for $105.00. FTD emailed me a confirmation, then followed up with another email that my order was being processed. Come Valentine's Day at about 5:00 PM, the roses still had not arrived. I attempted to email and call customer service, without success. Wait times for hold were over 60 minutes, according to the voice phone tree. About 5:30 PM, I received an email that the flowers had been delivered. They may have been delivered somewhere, but they were not delivered here. I live in a condo with a doorman, and there is no record of anyone signing for the flowers or my flowers being delivered. I called customer service again the day after Valentine's Day and got through after about 20 minutes on hold. The customer service representative says I'll be issued a full refund, but I have received no confirmations by email of that yet. Do not use FTD if you expect reliability!

I ordered a dozen roses online from FTD on Jan 24th to be delivered on Valentine's Day. The additional charges were over double of the listed price, but whatever. Since that day, I've been flooded with spam emails from FTD, and other senders. My phone got the same treatment with spam texts. The flowers were delivered, but the message card was missing and the flowers were half dead, frost bitten and bruised. I assumed the delivery would come from a local contracted FTD florist... wrong. It was a UPS delivery. Seems that UPS is the only one that did their job correctly in this situation.

My daughter live many miles away. I order her some flowers and cookies. I order a week before Valentine's Day. I got an email saying her order was delivered 4;01pm. She never received the order. I call and spoke with 5 different customer agents that could not speak English well at all. This has been the worst experience. Got an email saying my order was canceled. I will contact the Better Business Bureau.

Did not deliver flowers. Reading reviews here, it seems like my experience was similar to others. Got the FTD customer support on the line, and they said they were sorry. The item must not have scanned correctly or something, and this "almost never happens." They gave me a full refund. This seems like it wasn't an isolated incident, so just adding to the record so they can figure things out. Wouldn't order from this site until they sort this out.

I ordered flowers before Valentines Day so that they would be delivered in time. No such luck. I am Extremely Upset with FTD SERVICE and not to mention Very embarrassed that the flowers and candy i ordered were not delivered. I called customer service around 9pm est. After listening to their music for almost a half hour someone finally answered the phone. I could barely understand her of her accent. Customer service asked if I wanted to have the order delivered on a later date, I said no because now the day is gone, the moment is a disaster, I am very embarrassed and disappointed, so no I don't want them delivered at a later date, and told the customer service to refund my money. She says she will refund my almost 130.00. She took my email address and said that she was sending a confirmation of the refund. Here it is now the next morning and still no email. FTD you guys REALLY dropped the ball all the way around..

Ordered 3 different items for Valentine's Day. 2 were never delivered. Would not recommend and will not be using again. Also phone customer service employees must not be in the USA, all have accents and hard to understand.

I am currently overseas and tried getting flowers, chocolate, and a bear for my girlfriend and not only have I received no information regarding the missed delivery but when I tried to contact customer service I received nothing back.

I bought my wife a dozen Roses to be delivered on Valentine's Day. First off, I bought them to be delivered before I got home from work. They weren't. When I walked in the door, my wife was visibly unhappy. I didn't understand why. Then I realized, where the hell are the roses I bought. My wife thought I forgot to buy her roses. I ended up telling her I bought them for her because I felt like crap. I was pissed. Then they were delivered at 6:30pm by an Uber driver.
The roses were half dead and the arrangement was garbage. They looked cheap. Nothing like the advertised photo. Then my wife shows me the card. It says Haggen on it. So, I spent over $100 on a dozen red roses all so FTD could buy a dozen half dead roses from Haggen and try to pass them off as flowers from a real florist.
I'm pissed. I called their customer service number and the lady tried arguing with me. Since the Roses were delivered, FTD did their job. So, I threatened to report fraud for false advertisement. Then she said she could send my wife out another dozen red Roses from a different "florist" to be delivered some time next week. Seriously?!? I told her I wanted a refund and that's what I'm supposedly getting. She said I'll see a refund to my card within 8 business days. I will never shop here again, ever! Don't trust them or their advertised photos. FTD IS A SCAM!!

Updated on 05/10/2020: I guess I should’ve learned from the experience I had this Valentine's Day when FTD failed to deliver the flowers I had ordered for my fiancé, but I thought I would give them another chance. I was wrong to do that. I gave them their second chance on Mother’s Day only to find out they cancelled the order on the day before the scheduled delivery. This was a scheduled delivery for Friday, not on Sunday (mother’s day) yet they still cancelled for no other reason than “high volume”. Never again. You deserve zero stars. I’m not sure what has happened to you FTD, but I’ve been using you for years and you’re just not the company you used to be.
Original Review: I ordered long stem roses with candy and a card 8 days ahead of Valentine's Day. The morning of the 14th I received a confirmation email that my order was scheduled to deliver that day by 6:00 PM. They were to deliver to my fiancé’s office and she actually got off early, but I convinced her to wait for the delivery as I didn’t want her to miss it. She waited till 6:30 and no delivery. I actually paid up to have them delivered by a local florist so they wouldn’t arrive in a box delivered via UPS. When I clicked on the link to track them it showed they were scheduled to be delivered by 6:00 PM. That’s the status the link showed until 1:00 AM. It now shows the status as “assigned to florist”. This leads me to believe the issue is on FTD’s end, not the local florist.
When I called the “customer service” line, the recording stated there was a 60 minute wait due to high volume which leads me to believe this happened to a great number of their orders. I spent well over $100 for Valentine’s Day flowers that never showed up. At this point FTD, you have ruined our night and taken my money. I will sit on hold tomorrow and update this review based on the response I get.

Order for V-Day delivery 2 days prior. Took at least 45 min because FTD system would not accept order because I would not agree to a price higher that what was advertised online. I asked for AM delivery - that didn't happen. I get an email saying flowers were delivered at 3:20pm - I assumed they were - but they were not. Contacted my wife out of state at relative's home about 8:30pm. She then finds note written about 4:30pm telling her to call the Florist (she found that when I called at 8:30pm). She calls and they tell her to drive to their location tonight or they would deliver the next day. I then call Florist who tells me they've been trying to contact after delivery was not made. Wife and family were home all day! Checking landline showed one call rec'd around 6:30pm but no one heard it ring.
Since none of this made any sense I told him it was hard to believe the delivery wasn't made and since they were still there that the delivery should be made by them. He said I had an "attitude problem." I told him his response was unacceptable. My wife drove to the Florist and picked up the arrangement, which was nice but it was a FRACTION of what it was supposed to be, and forget about a nice Valentine Day surprise!
Then, I called FTD and told them in greater detail. I was asked what I wanted to be satisfied and I said a full refund. The Rep agreed and it was resolved...for about 10 minutes. He called me back and said his supervisor said since my wife received the flowers they would only refund 25% - essentially the Delivery charge that they didn't fulfill since wife ended up picking them up. Took NO responsibility at the Florist and then FTD agrees to make it as Right as they could but then later has the nerve to call me back and say 'oh no, we can't do that!" Do yourself a favor and find another company to work with. FTD is not nearly as reputable as they used to be!

For a service that claims to take same day orders on Valentine's Day I was sure I could trust them to deliver the order I had submitted and paid for a week in advance. Boy was I wrong. After my confirmation email said my order number and recipient name didn't match (meaning I couldn't track my order) I called early on the delivery day out of concern. After being on hold for 20 minutes (which was to be expected on valentines day, fine) I was told that I needed to provide my recipient's phone number. I had already done this in the initial order and had never been contacted about it prior to this call.
After which I was assured the flowers would be delivered later in the day but no time given. Long and frustrating story short, I called back at 8pm after receiving an email that my order had been delivered, but not so. After another lengthy hold time, customer service only left me feeling like a sucker. No flowers and no sense that there is any intention of retribution for a horrible experience. Lesson learned.

They couldn't even do their job deliver on the day I paid for 8 days in advance. Not pick up the phone when I call, I paid a lot for the flowers I picked out and even with specific details on when and how to deliver them they could not.

Place an order for Valentine's for my wife a week before Valentine's. It was supposed to be delivered a day before. It never was delivered so they said it will come Friday. Still didn't come Friday. Here it is 9 PM at night and my wife has no flowers. I'm in the doghouse big time so I called to cancel the order and they're like okay. They didn't offer an explanation, some type of courtesy, NOTHING. The worst service I've ever dealt with. I will never buy from FTD again.

I called FTD to find out why the flowers weren't delivered. They said the problem was with UPS. After spending a premium on flowers you would think FTD will take the time to make sure I was happy. So now I have to fill out a claim with UPS to try to get my money back. There's so many better places to buy flowers and FTD.

I ordered 24 roses, a teddy bear and a box of chocolate. I got 22 roses and nothing else! Stay away from this horrible company destroying people’s special days. I would never ever in my life use them again and expect a full refund!

My boyfriend ordered flowers from FTD on Feb 11 to be delivered to me today for Valentine's Day. This afternoon he received an email from FTD stating the flowers had been delivered. We have been home together the entire day. We have had no deliveries and no flowers. He tried contacting FTD first via chat, but the bot message stated he would need to call because “no agents were available”. He then called FTD several times. Each time he was put on hold and disconnected. We have not been able to get in touch with anyone. FTD used to be a reputable company, but we will never use their online service again. And we will be certain to tell everyone we know that FTD not only failed to deliver as promised, they also sent false delivery confirmation.

You would think they would be prepared for Valentines Day. None of my flowers got delivered... As a flower company, for such an important day, you would think they would alert you to the problems. They are now saying they will deliver tomorrow, Saturday, to the business addresses. Ridiculous.

We ordered flowers to be sent to our daughter in Philadelphia for Valentine's Day. We received an email at 4:05 PM on Feb 14th stating that the order wasn’t available and we needed to contact FTD so something else could be sent today ASAP. I called and was on hold for 15 minutes before being told the system was updating and they couldn’t help me. I called back an hour later and was told that nothing could be delivered until Monday. They didn’t offer any discount or any reason why things could not be delivered over the weekend. This was horrible customer service! I’ll never use FTD again!

FTD claims they would deliver on Valentine's day the same day the order is made. I placed an order early morning on Feb 14 (Valentine's day) and the order goes through. Around 4:30PM on the 14 I get a confirmation email that delivery was made. However, the delivery was not made after checking with the recipient and the company office location it was sent to deliver to, which was a small office with only about 20 people. I tried to call FTD customer service, to find out their hold times according to the operator was at around 60 minutes. I finally get a rep to answer and they tell me the delivery was made.
After telling the rep the delivery was not made, she placed me on hold to call the florist directly. However, she was unable to contact the florist directly and basically she indicated she will supposedly send me an email when they get a hold of the florist. This issue is still pending to get resolved, but at this point I would not recommend order from them, because you don't know what you are going to get if anything.

I ordered flowers for Valentines Day to be delivered to my wife's office. FTD failed to deliver the flowers. They refunded my money which is why I gave them 2 stars rather than 1 star without any hassle (aside from very long hold times). I believe they over committed - a "sorry, we're sold out" would have been preferred.

Placed an order for my wife on Monday 2/10 to be delivered on Thursday 2/13. The roses were delivered on Wednesday 2/12. Normally early deliveries are fine, but not for flowers when you request them on a specific day. It actually cost me more for the delivery fees to have it delivered the day before Valentine's Day which is what I wanted. On top of that the roses were already dying with holes in them and withered petals. Additionally, the roses were supposed to be delivered with a vase that is "similar in style, shape and price" to the one pictured. What I had received is a generic clear rounded vase, opposed to a cylindrical vase with gold accents that was pictured on the FTD website.
I called FTD on Wednesday and explained all this to them, to which I was told flowers would absolutely be delivered on Thursday 2/13 with an "upgrade". Come Thursday, no flowers. I called FTD again and was told they would contact the florist and get back to me. Now it's Friday 2/14, Valentine's Day 5:00pm and flowers are still not here. On the phone with FTD again, who tried to contact the florist with no results. I was offered a refund to which I accepted, because I don't believe the replacement "upgrade" flowers would ever be delivered. Attached are pictures of the subpar flowers and vase that were delivered on Wednesday. Thank you FTD for making this Valentine's Day disappointing for my wife and I. Never again will I be ordering from your business.

Spent $70 so that my GF could get flowers delivered and have them at her desk today. 5 minutes after ordering I realized the times frame for delivery and contacted customer service through chat. I said I need to cancel or verification it will arrive before 4pm. They told me they contacted florist and sent FTD funds to ensure it would be delivered by 4pm. Well that didn't happen. Everyone I chatted with today said you can't guarantee times and then disconnected with me. Please review quality control chat records to see that the representative guarantees 4pm. I then called in and was on hold for 20 minutes and as soon as someone picked up the phone they hung up. I need an immediate refund and response explaining why this happened????

I received flowers today from my parents and what a disappointment. I had to put the arrangement together and it’s not anywhere as pictured. It looks very thin. Vase is not the same even the flowers aren’t. It looks sad.

I ordered $130 arrangement for my girlfriend in Brazil for Valentine's Day. It was supposed to be delivered by 10:00 a.m. as it was going to her work and that was when they accept deliveries. I discussed this in great detail with them when I place the order and the lady assured me it would be no problem. It is now 3:00 p.m. in Brazil. They still have not delivered the flowers. Every time I call the company to try and find out what's going on they have no idea what to tell me. They keep telling me it'll be delivered by 9:00 p.m. She won't even be there at 9:00 p.m. She gets off work at 5:00 and it was supposed to be delivered by 10:00 a.m. I asked to talk to a supervisor. He put me on hold for 25 minutes and finally came back on the phone and said he couldn't find one. FTD has completely ruined my Valentine's Day that I planed days in advance.
Your customer service is abhorrent, they're quick to take your money but once they have it they do nothing for you and they just don't care and the people they have answering phones for customer service don't have any clue what they're doing. All they had to do was call the floral shop they placed their order with and asked them when this order was going to be delivered but they couldn't even do that. I've called three times. They keep telling me they'll call me back and send me emails but I've received nothing from them. This is the worst flower company ever. You're better off going to the grocery store and bringing them yourself.

I have never been more disappointed in my whole life. It's a shame there's no option to give ZERO stars. I ordered flowers to commemorate the anniversary of the loss of a loved one (a very important occasion) but despite taking my money they didn't arrive. I ordered 5 days in advance (so plenty of time to communicate with me if for some reason the order couldn't be processed) but I heard nothing. FTD were, however, able to send me no less than TEN marketing emails trying to sell me other products in just 5 times. 2 emails PER DAY trying to sell me other things, without having the decency to keep me up to date on the order I'd already paid for. The customer service line was appalling, held on hold for ages and the line kept cutting out.
I got bounce backs from their email inboxes saying they're not monitored. I assume because they get so many complaints they can't keep up with them. Also the online form to offer feedback was broken. It's disgusting in this day and age that anyone chooses to run their business this way. My order number is **. I urgently want a refund and an explanation as to why you treat your customers this way.

My husband ordered flowers to be delivered today for Valentine's Day. When I received them I was so disappointed and so was my husband. He paid a $120 for half dead flowers. This is a $20 bouquet With a $5 Box of chocolates. I could have got better flowers from Kroger.

I used this company like 3 times, however with the 2 times have been extremely a letdown. One time for my 12 year anniversary I ordered an exquisite rose package with balloons, teddy bear, and a card, the exquisite rose has 50% more in the vase than the regular package. The florist then brought out some little skimpy roses that was 50% less filled in the vase. I'm like, "Hey what is this, this is not mine, I paid for an exquisite that was $100+." She said, "I'm sorry. That's all I have." I Called FTD and explained to them of what's going on, and I asked them to refund my money. Yes they refunded my money but the emotional dissatisfaction of the service received on a special day in front of my wife on our Anniversary.
After that I was skeptical about using them again, 3 years later this year 2020 for Valentine's I wanted to give my wife a gift of exquisite flowers package with balloons, chocolate a card and vase sent to her job, so I ordered this like 7 days in advance. So they decided to deliver this at the end of the day in which she will not be there to receive it. I really needed this to come through, because we have been through so much together and me serving in combat for over 4 years during our marriage and recent arguments, and her job was giving her time for us to reconcile a few things. Again I requested a refund. I don't want to requesting my money back and waste time planning and setting this up all for nothing just to cancel. This is an emotional drain and using this company can lead to an failed attempt to save a marriage, make someone happy, and etc...
Fool me once, fool me twice, can't get fool again! I will never use this company again, and asked USAA bank shopping department to never send me another piece of mail advertising or anything with a FTD on it. You want better for someone special, please take out the time to visit your local florist or use another company.

Had to ask the same question 6 times, but rather than answering my question, the customer service representative danced around my question, thinking she was telling me what I wanted to hear rather than answering the question. At one point I was put on hold for 4 minutes, only to have the line disconnected. Once again, had to call, explain why I was calling, ask the same question again, only to get some lame non committal answer to the question that I was asking. I simply wanted to know if the deliver had been made. I couldn't get a straight answer out of these people, hence the title, Bunch of ** idiots.

It started with the buying experience. The sight talks endlessly about free delivery however because I had a planed orchard it required "special handling" and this extra did not show up until the very last part of check out. Secondly I received a plant so small I thought I was looking through the wrong end of a telescope, seriously the orchard had a 2 inch moss ball in a 4 inch pot, the plane is so small the leaves are trapped inside the pot and the stability pole is 4 times higher than the plant. If I can keep it alive it might reach the top in a few years. I am totally embarrassed to give it to my wife of 49 years, the local grocery store has a better selection so I'm off to the store before she gets back.

I purchased flowers via an obituary. While purchasing it auto populates that it will be delivered to the undisclosed address at the undisclosed time. In fact, it never even lets you select that is your only option. In a horrible grieving time I receive two emails and a voicemail about a problem with the order. The long and short of the story is, I wait over 90 minutes to get through to someone just to be asked the location and Time to be delivered... ALL AUTO POPULATED FIELDS I CAN NOT EDIT AS THEY HAVE THE INFORMATION VIA SYMPATHYLEGACY.COM. You must be kidding?!?! How sad, I will NEVER use or recommend FTD to anyone in the future.

I have ordered flowers from this company several times. It is way overpriced and their photos are misleading. Not surprising I was unable to leave a review on their website. I received a bouquet I ordered today and it looks like a $10 flower bunch from the grocery store. It looks to be 1/3 of what is pictured on their site and only some of the flowers look healthy. At least this overpriced bouquet was just for me. In the past I have sent flowers and get a photo of what is delivered and I feel embarrassed. Disappointing and frustrating.

I ordered a plant to be delivered to my sister and brother-in-law as their mother had just passed away. It was delivered in a snowstorm and left uncovered on their porch. The plant was ruined. My inlaws tried to call the florist and resolve the issue but after several calls and emails, there was No response. I sent an email to FTD customer service and they responded next day to say they left a voice message on my phone which they did not. I then called the number they said to call and I could barely understand them from the heavy foreign accent. Every aspect of this has been a hassle. Next time I send flowers or plants I will call LOCAL and speak with a person. FTD is not what it used to be. This sums it up for me, the email that customer service sent me was signed LadyAnn.

I have to ship gifts to clients often once a month. Finding a good price on a unique gift is key. Imagine my surprise when my chocolate covered oreos for Valentines (which, after reading reviews I pray arrives on Valentines) had a shipping charge of just under 60%!!! That's SIXTY, not sixteen. The gift was regularly $36, so $10 off and $15 shipping fee on a $26 order. Won't be caught by surprise again...

I would GROW MY OWN FLOWERS before I'd use FTD.COM again. They offer an FTD GOLD membership program for Thirty Dollars per year that provides for free flower delivery. When you join you have to register a credit card on file which comes with AUTOMATIC RENEWAL. I agreed to this last year. When I joined this program I was on the phone with a customer service agent who assured me that I could cancel the Automatic Renewal Feature at any time. It has been my experience that it is NOT possible to cancel the Auto Renew feature. FTD.COM Customer Service Agents can't even cancel it. I received an email around ten days ago informing me that the Auto Renew would be taking place. I phoned FTD and instructed them to TURN OFF the Auto Renew that I no longer wanted to participate.
I went a step farther. I logged into my FTD.COM account and completely removed and deleted the credit card on file that I had used to set up the account. I received notification yesterday that the FTD.COM GOLD Membership had been renewed. When I checked on this, I found that WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, FTD placed a charge against a completely different credit card that I had used to make flower purchases at other times. I was PISSED to say the least. I phoned FTD.COM Customer Service and explained to the agent that I wanted to be refunded and then to sever all connections to FTD.COM in any way for any reason at any time, forever.
After an extended amount of time on the phone with a person with an extreme foreign accent that I could barely communicate with, I was told that he "INITIATED THE REFUND" but that I needed to go the the website CANCELGOLD@FTDI.COM and attempt to cancel the Auto Renewal myself. Seriously! It's like a dog chasing its tail. When you go to that website it directs you how to turn OFF the Auto Renew feature, but, when you click on the icon to turn it OFF, It stays "ON". You CAN'T turn it off. I have completely removed my credit card information from their website. I have completely UNSUBSCRIBED from all emails. I have completely CLOSED my account. I have done everything I know to do to.
ON OTHER NOTE~ On multiple occasions I have placed an order for flowers. Everything seemed to go well. A day or two later I receive an email with words to the effect of "We're sorry but the flowers you purchased were out of stock. Your order has been canceled. You have been refunded...." The problem is that the funeral the flowers were intended for was the same or next day!!!!! Nothing like finding out two hours before a funeral that the flowers you ordered are NOT going to be delivered. Good luck finding others. FTD.COM shouldn't offer flowers for sale that are not available. I have had FTD.COM for over two years and had more problems than success. This Auto Renew crap pushed me over the edge. I would not recommend FTD.com to anyone. My recommendation~go anywhere else!

The florists take shortcuts. I ordered a funeral wreath and flowers for a friends birthday, neither lived up to what was depicted. In the future I will find a local florist and use them. I don’t recommend this service. Very disappointing.

I've sent flowers to be delivered to a hospital room. The cost was $80, but it was the "Exquisite" and the largest bouquet they offer in that flower of choice. What was delivered was the smallest, $50 one. I called the customer service and first, they said that they don't believe it. Then they said they would give me a $8 refund. I explained that there is a $30 difference and I will not accept an $8 refund. They then offered to re-deliver it for the next day. They would not change the flower so someone is getting 2 of the same flower. I was on hold for over 45 minutes trying to resolve this issue. I will not use FTD again!

I am a USAA customer who used a ordered a delivery for a funeral of a dear friend I was unable to attend. I guess I got what I paid for with the 25% discount...but in actuality I didn't. They took my money. Asked what time the service was and even provided a confirmation, which in my mind is an assurance it will be delivered on time. I got an email the day after the service that the product wasn't available. I was immediately irate, more than likely out of emotion of the circumstance of losing a friend. Why didn't FTD select an alternate flower arrangement instead of not shipping?
Come to find out after calling customer service this morning, there was no florist available in the local area. Why didn't they determine that immediately and make alternate arrangements? Or let me know right then it wasn't possible so I could take action and find a florist? I find FTD's actions to be completely unacceptable. They are an unprofessional and dishonest company that has misleads consumers. As a USAA member, this is does not exemplify the high level of customer service that USAA has delivered to me over the years and I am disappointed they would partner with FTD. I will never use FTD again for anything. The day and the occasion has passed. There is no way to reconcile that at this point. Giving me my money back is the least you can do, but still this is not in the spirit of delivering services that FTD promised to do.

I located an $80 sympathy arrangement on the FTD Flowers website. I placed the order because the site said it could be delivered today. When I checked out, there was an additional charge for the same day delivery. I paid the additional and the total bill was $115.12. Some time later I received an email and it had a tracking number included. When I checked the tracking, the small print stated it was scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I called FTD Customer Support and was told the assigned florist couldn't deliver today, so they scheduled it for tomorrow. When I complained, I was told "that's simply the way it is." I asked to speak with a supervisor and waited on the line. When she got on the line, she now stated that the florist couldn't deliver today because I ordered too late.
Nowhere on the website is a time limit for ordering identified. In fact, the site states that home deliveries go on until 9:00PM. The checkout didn't identify it was too late for same day delivery, it simply took my money. The supervisor then offered to return the money I paid for same day, but I asked her to cancel the entire order so I could order from another flower company. I also asked how I could contact FTD Corporate to register a complaint. In a rude manner, I was told my money would be refunded, there was no means to contact anyone else, and she immediately hung up without another word. At minimum, this was a case of misrepresentation and could be considered fraudulent. Save yourself the pain, BUY YOUR FLOWERS SOMEWHERE ELSE!

First, there is no checking if the order can be delivered. The process involved taking your order and then determining that they can make the order based on available florists. This means that if you order for a special occasion and the order can't be fulfilled, it will be canceled. Tough luck on the special occasion in this case. Given that you would like to continue the order to have a belated delivery, you call and place a second order to have the flowers delivered the next day based on what is available. Be prepared for several issues.
First, they will set multiple pending charges on the credit card immediately. Second, the order may still take multiple days to get delivered. Third, the customer service is awful at best. I tried to make reasonable and rationale concerns without customer service even listening to the issue. This resulted in disputing the charges (multiple) with the credit card company which takes time. This could have been solved fairly easily but the company is not interested in customer service.
This is based on the conversations and the fact that one has to call 'three' times to realize that the first had a questionnaire about the service and if you answered truthfully would end the call. Not until one answered with everything is ok did you get a representative. Not sure where the dispute will end and hopefully the credit card will be able to provide some pressure, but please save yourself some time and look up a local florist and place the order directly. Shameful in terms of customer service in my opinion and this is a lesson learned that I never will repeat.

I ordered flowers for my grandmother's funeral. What I received was hardly what I ordered. It was sad and embarrassing. None of the flowers haven't bloomed. It was just a vase with very little greenery! I also chose the most expensive one so it would be full! I’m so sadden. It’s my grandmother's funeral, it’s not like I could have rescheduled or replaced it and then try to deal with it later or waited until the flowers bloomed. I will never use FTD again! I wish I could post pic but this won’t let me!

We live overseas from my mom, so wanted to send flowers on her 84th birthday. We ordered the roses from FTD to be delivered on her birthday. (Wrote the card, gave addresses and credit card information, all was approved, including the delivery date.) Hours before her birthday - after the close of business the day before her birthday - we receive an email from FTD saying that they could not deliver the flowers. I called but the service was poor - couldn't hear each other, and they said they couldn't deliver the roses and cancelled the order. This is the last time we will use FTD. (I'll call long distance next time and order direct.) Unbelievably, this was written on the top of their confirmation email: "Thank you for trusting us with your most important occasions." Laughable if I weren't so sad that my mom has not received her birthday flowers.

Horrible experience!!! My spouse ordered a huge bouquet of blue roses for my birthday. After a rough year and losing my dad, my spouse wanted a huge big bouquet of blue roses due to the color having such a special meaning to us to brighten my day. Instead what came was a half dozen roses with dying greenery and a few filler flowers. The bouquet was a wilted mess with not a single blue flower in the bunch. If you are thinking about ordering flowers from FTD just don't.... My spouse could have went to grocery and bought the same arrangement for 12.00 instead of over 80.00 for the arrangement sent... The wilted horrible mess!!!! Not again will we make the mistake of using FTD.

My daughter lives many miles away from us and I wanted something special delivered to her on her birthday. I purchased the small bouquet of Light of My Life™ Bouquet- VASE INCLUDED flowers and was pleasantly surprised how big, beautiful, and fresh they were. Ordered floral arrangement online this morning for my mother in law birthday. Spoke with her tonight and they hadn't been delivered yet. I called the 800 number (1-800-736-3383). When I gave the order number the customer service representative told me the florist attempted to deliver it but no one was home, which is impossible because 1. she said they were home all day and 2. my father in law is unable to leave the house. So they lied to me or the florist lied to them or both.
Either way I spent $90 for my mother in laws birthday for flowers that were not delivered. Then the representative said "what would you like me to do for you today?" I said "refund the money for the flowers, her birthday is over," to which he replied "then the flowers won't be delivered tomorrow." Like I was lying that they weren't delivered! No apology, nothing. I also asked for the name of the florist and they cannot provide that information. Never again will use FTD, I will take the extra few minutes to find a reputable local florist. Horrible experience and customer service.

Ordered a premium high style bouquet. Expensive. At least a dozen Roses and three star lilies as well as carnations and various other blooms very little greenery. Used a 5 dollar off promo code. The bouquet delivered had fewer than 2 dozen flowers and its size was attributed to an excessive quantity of greenery. In addition the confirmation number that came with my order and the one on the delivery notification were two different confirmation numbers. Called customer service and the fellow was very hard to understand. I Think they said they were going to remake the bouquet I ordered and deliver it tomorrow.

I ordered a dozen long stem blue roses and a vase for my daughter who was graduating from the police academy. What I received was no better than a Walmart arrangement. 6 sweetheart roses and some cheap filler flowers and not a blue flower in the bunch. In addition the flowers were browning and broken. If I could rate lower than a 1 I would. Never again from what I thought was a reputable business.

They explained they had a message stating flowers had not been delivered but could not tell me why or if they would be delivered the next day. Customer service rep could not tell me anything absolutely useless and not professional at all. Not satisfied with them at all will NEVER use them again. They say they will refund my $ but they also said they’d deliver my flowers today. I recommend anyone looking to send flowers use someone else. FTD is not professional at all.

I ordered flowers 2 days before my best friend’s grandmother’s funeral. I received an email the night before stating that flower substitutions would have to be made to fulfill the order the next day. That was fine. Then, I received an email an hour after the requested delivery time stating that they were unable to fulfill my order. This left me no time to order from anywhere else and no chance to show my respects. When I called to complain, they put me on hold to find out if they could give me a full refund. Seriously?!!!

I ordered the top tier of flowers along with a Mylar happy birthday balloon and 2 other balloons. The flowers that arrived were the bottom tier and no balloons. I received a $50 order for $111. I have emailed them and called them yet they just ignore me. I want a refund and I will not do business with them again. Nor would I recommend them to anyone. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my Mom for her 80th birthday. I spent $117 for a beautiful arrangement with lots of roses, carnations and stock. What my mom received was pathetic. 2 roses, one stem of spray roses, mums and 3 snapdragons in a $6 clear glass vase! I called customer service and complained. Requested a refund to my credit card and was told it was processed. That remains to be seen. Would never use them again.

The last 2 times my boyfriend & I used FTD service, the product wasn't delivered. Despite me ordering a gift on 12/17 for delivery 1/3/2020 and receiving confirmation, it was only after the item was not delivered as promised on 1/3 that I called only to be told the item wasn't available. When I asked why I received a confirmation for it rather than an email telling me to order something else, I got no answer from the hard to understand service rep on the phone. I have no problem talking with people not born in our country but it is helpful if you have customer service representatives who can speak clear English so we can understand them. Despite the fact that I was promised a $15 voucher for merchandise with my refund notice, I never got the voucher but it was just as well. I wouldn't have used it anyway and ordered a replacement gift from a service provider who actually delivers what you order when it is supposed to be delivered.

I called. Best offer was for next day re-delivery. Flowers were for her birthday not the next day. I nevertheless had to agree. Nothing was delivered. I have e-mailed customer service three times. No response. It was occasion and I’m at a loss to believe the bad business practices of this company especially since the cost was not insignificant.

Received a phone call at 7:30pm on the 22nd from a gentleman who spoke very little English saying what I ordered was not available and they would substitute. Well..when I arrived at my mom’s on the 24th I was embarrassed by the substitution. Much smaller and droopy flowers. I have sent 2 emails to support and NO response. Use 1-800-Flowers. Never FTD. Never!

My brother, who lives overseas, wanted to send me flowers for my birthday. I live in Florida. The flowers were paid for and scheduled to arrive on Friday, December 27th. No flowers showed up. Today, Monday, December 30th, a rather strong smelling FTD box appears by my front door. Curious! I open the box, and see such a pathetically half-dead bunch of flowers. Most certainly, they had been in that box since Friday. A few were salvageable, but on the whole, they were literally garbage. I called customer service right away, and the rep was very robotic. Didn't even say anything like, "oh, I'm so sorry about that." NOTHING! He offered a refund, but I insisted to speak to a supervisor. At first he refused, but I insisted even stronger.
A supervisor, Dennis, got on the line. Again, no human touch, no emotional reaction to a customer being misled, and the flower recipient NOT receiving the rather expensive flowers on her birthday. They offered either a refund or a redelivery. I requested both. He refused, saying it's impossible. Strange, Amazon does that type of thing all the time. They might mess up from time to time, but they'll make good on it. These guys were super rude, and took no responsibility at all for absurdly bad service. My brother, quite shocked at FTD, a so-called reputable company messing up so badly. He said that next time he'd deal with an independent, local florist. People, save your money, time and sanity. Don't bother with this company. Maybe FTD stands for Flowers Totally DEAD!!!

I placed an order on 12/20/19 for a cousin's birthday flower delivery on 12/27/19. I went on vacation for 10 days. I did received TWO emails stating they received my payment and flowers will be delivered. My nephew later told me it was never delivered on 12/27/19. They were hoping to receive it before they leave for my cousin's birthday dinner. I called in around 11pm spoke to a FTD rep who told me the florist near my delivery location couldn't fulfilled the order, so it was canceled. I told her FTD NEVER once called or sent an email regarding the order canceled. I later got a "manager" on the phone who told me the order was cancelled and a refund was given. I gave him an earful, "The refund isn't my concern, my concern is why would your company canceled an order and not ONCE sent a notification?! It was placed over 7 days ago. Your customer placed a flower delivery order and they expects a delivery. What kind of business practice is that if you did not sent a cancellation email or phone call?!"
FTD never offer to make it right by creating a new delivery. I told them I will never use FTD again. After hanging up the phone with FTD, I went on my computer to check my bank and email. FTD sent a new and FIRST EMAIL stating they have canceled my order and refunded my card, which will take up to 5 business days. What the iiiiiiioiohell kind of business practice is that?! I am no longer their regular customer.

I am writing to give feedback about my experience and tell you how disappointed I am. I ordered flowers through FTD's website to be delivered today. I checked in the morning since I know when I send this recipient flowers, she usually gets them around a certain time. I spoke to 4 different customer service representatives via their chat that gave me the runaround and were not able to give me an accurate status. I then finally spoke to another representative that said and I quote "Your order looks great and should be delivered by 5" basically assuring me there were no issues with my order.
Another hour went by, and still no delivery. I contacted customer service again only to have another rep tell me that the recipient wasn't at the location and they had called me to tell me, but were not able to reach me so there was no delivery made. This was beyond infuriating!!! The only reason I even knew there was an issue, was because I called. NO ONE called me to inform me, my recipient was there all day and I never got a phone call. The lack of customer service was beyond upsetting. No one was able to get a hold of anyone, and the only thing they could offer me was next day delivery!
This was for someone's Birthday, and their surprise was ruined. Next day delivery would do no good, I do not feel anyone, including the supervisor I spoke to went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I am disappointed, upset, and anything else you can think of. Yes, I requested a refund, but that doesn't matter because I still received poor customer service and someone's Birthday wasn't made special. I will never use their service again and I would hope no one else has to go through this ordeal. I hope they upgrade their customer service as it is lacking terribly.

My daughter purchased flowers for me for a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, I never received the flowers. The flowers were due to arrive on Saturday, December 21. That evening, I saw that I had a voicemail. The delivery person called so I called him back after I received the call from about 40 minutes earlier. He said he couldn't find my house with his GPS and that he was too far away but he would call his boss to see if he wanted him to return and that evening; he would call me to let me know. If he couldn't deliver them on Saturday, I would get them by Monday at the latest. He never called me back.
In the meantime, my daughter called me and asked me about the flowers because she received an email that they were delivered. I told her I didn't get them. She contacted FTD on Sunday morning and they said they will get the flowers delivered on Sunday. My daughter received an email that the flowers were delivered on Sunday. They were not. On Monday at 4:00 the flowers were still not delivered and I never received a call from the delivery person. I called FTD myself. It took six times; I got cut off as soon as a representative came on the line. After the 7th time, I spoke with a representative and asked what could she do to make things right. All she could do was find out when the flowers could be delivered or get a refund for my daughter. I opted for the refund. I asked if the flowers could be discounted but she said she could not do that.

I purchase a flower arrangement to be delivered to my cousin for her birthday. What she received versus what I ordered look completely different. Sent an email to customer service and filed a report through FTD’s website showing proof of what I ordered and what was delivered but no answer. Instead I receive promotional emails daily but cannot respond to my complain. Very disappointed!

I have received flower deliveries for my birthday or Valentine's Day for years. This year the sender used FTD service. When my doorbell rang, I went outside to answer right away since I was already on my way out to an appointment. The delivery person questioned me without any greeting first, "why didn't you answer my phone calls? I have been calling." Apparently he doesn't even consider that he didn't dial my phone number but the sender's...and most likely whoever ordered the flower delivery doesn't live with me here.
Then he went on about he didn't have a pen with him so I needed to go back in to retrieve one for the signing the delivery slip. When he passed me the package, I could feel the water was inside the plastic gift wrap. Awkwardly I held it from the bottom and carefully carry it in. Once I opened the wrap on my kitchen counter, the water flooded all over. The teddy bear was soaked and same as the chocolate. When I checked the flowers, I realize the water was about 70% full in the vase. My estimate the other 10% was spilled out in the package. I have never ever received a flower delivery with such high filled vase.
The flower quality left even less for desire. The stems were cut very short and the diameter of the stems was on the tiny side. The flowers were 98% in full bloom. Some already dropped pedals and showing the naked sepals. I am no florist, but I have received enough flower bouquets and hand delivered basket to know this quality of goods and service is way below the standard.

Customer service for this company is one of the worst I have ever experienced. Seeing reviews with similar issues as mine has just confirmed that I will never use FTD again. Made my online order, received confirmation email, but go figure the day of delivery comes and they email me saying I gave them the wrong address and could not deliver. I double checked my confirmation email and the address listed for delivery is correct. I was pretty sure I knew my own home address. Called customer service and had a difficult time communicating with them.
I gave them my address again, they put me on hold and supposedly talked to the florist and said they couldn’t delivery until the next day. Later that evening I received another email saying my order had been delivered, but no flowers in my house for my wife. Called customer service yet again and was disconnected twice. Finally fed up, sent customer service an email and received an automated email reply saying they will look into it. I have no idea if my wife will ever get her birthday flowers! FTD you have lost a customer!!

I ordered 2 separate gifts on 12/2 for delivery on 12/24. On 12/19 I got a shipping confirmation for delivery on 12/27 contrary to my order confirmation and $15.99 shipping fee. Sorely disappointed and further frustrated by the total lack of accountability by FTD. Merry Christmas to my parents who now have no gift under the tree even though I planned ahead.

Horrible. I bought A Groupon for use with the Christmas sale as it says it can be. It makes you use a separate FTD site where the prices are nearly double, with the groupon it was a 12 cent savings. I bought a Mini tree, It was $25 on the regular site and $39 on the one they make you use. The tree is bald and nothing like pictured. This was a gift for my future mother in law who no longer does Christmas trees. I am so embarrassed, contacting customer service. The tree was almost $50 the same price as my 8ft tall 4ft wide tree! Will be going back to Teleflora a wonderful, nicely priced service with beautiful and lively arrangements.

They have ruined my anniversary surprise. The flowers were never delivered. I even called yesterday at 4pm because I was nervous the day was winding down and she would be out of work soon. Your rep barely spoke English and said they cannot give a specific time of delivery. I now look online and it says my order was canceled. I never canceled but yet they conveniently still charged my credit card. If I could write this review and give zero stars I would.

I ordered an expensive (100 USD) bouquet of flowers on 11/25/19 for my mother in law's 70's birthday. Delivery was scheduled on 12/14/2019, which was a Saturday. On 12/14 around lunch I still didn't receive an email regarding the delivery and I got worried and called. After speaking to somebody in a call center which I assume was in India (the person had issues speaking fluent English and was very difficult to understand) I was assured delivery would happen 12/14. They blamed the florist and told me that they were not open on the weekends, which sounded strange to me. Every florist is open on Saturdays! Delivery didn't happen of course.
I called again next day and another customer service rep who was difficult to understand basically told me to cancel the order. There was a verbal apology and another offer to send flowers in a box with the delivery on Christmas day. I was shocked! I would have NEVER expected such a bad service from FTD. Especially since the bouquet was so expensive. I asked the lady 10 times to transfer me to a supervisor which she reluctantly did at the end. The supervisor gave me a 20% refund and promised delivery on Monday 12/16. This delivery also didn't happen. I will have to call again. Beyond disappointed about FTD. I used them for years and have NEVER experienced bad customer service like this before. This is the last time I used them to deliver flowers. Cannot wait to get an opportunity from them to do a review. If I could gave it 0 stars I would. Shame on you FTD!

Purchased a nice Christmas centerpiece online for delivery today 12/16/19. Received an email in the morning saying it had been delivered. Looked out my door and no delivery. I was home all day. Called customer service 3 times but because of a language barrier and impossible phone connection resolution was impossible. So here I sit frustrated $75 poorer and no centerpiece to grace my table. I expected better from a well thought of company but lesson learned.

We had a funeral service today for my Father. I had placed an order for a huge standing spray, and my friends and coworkers and some family all ordered flowers as well, from FTD. No flowers came. Not one single order. No call, no apologies, nothing. After getting home, an email was sent 8 hours after the service notifying me that my order was "delayed". You don't delay flowers to a funeral service. I called and was told no problem, they would just ship the funeral flowers to my home at a later time. Are you kidding me? After insisting on a refund, I was offered a $15 coupon towards my next purchase. What a joke. The FTD guarantee isn't worth the screen it's posted on. "If we don't deliver your flowers, we will give you a refund." Stress and anguish for a grieving family? That they seem to be able to deliver.

FTD Order **: Purchased a flower arrangement on 12/15/19 from FTD tied to the link where I was reviewing an obituary. They advised they could deliver for the 12/16/19 visitation/funeral but the flowers still haven’t been delivered at 1:18 PM on 12/16/19 and the service starts at 2:00. I was on hold with FTD for over 50 minutes & passed around multiple times, language barrier issues, & hung up on so I finally gave up. I will never use FTD again! I suggest using your local florist in the future. FTD is a terrible company!!!

I ordered the Loving Light Dish garden arrangement for my best friend’s grandson’s funeral. The arrangement I ordered and the arrangement that was received did not at all closely resemble one another. I understood when I made the purchase that the order would be “filled by a local florist,” and I think, if I were your company, I might choose a different local florist to be representative of my flower arrangements and my company’s name. I am very disappointed and saddened that the arrangement sent was the best they could put together on your behalf.

I have sent and received flowers MANY times for multiple companies. The first time I used FTD was to send my Grandma flowers for her 75th birthday. Ordered the DELUXE option and felt it was well worth the $80+ total (based on the photo). My Grandma posted a photo of all of her flowers she received and I didn't see the ones I sent. Then I realized mine were the tiny arrangement that looked like it was worth $15 MAX. Contacted FTD and spoke with "Frey". She assured me that a replacement would be sent the next day.
The next day the florist came and took the original and left my Grandma with the exact same arrangement. I called again and talked to "Frey".. She asked me how many stems were in the arrangement. I told her what I thought based off the photos that my grandparents sent me. I asked her how many were suppose to be in there and she said, "That information is not listed." She kept asking if I was unhappy with the flowers being cut too short.. NO, there are not enough flowers! She said she would had the flowers resent in 2 business days. I told her that I had no faith in the flowers being what I ordered. She then told me that she would suggest that the florist makes the arrangement similar to the photo... EXCUSE ME?! Isn't that what they should have done in the first place?
I told her that it needs to be the DELUXE arrangement that I ordered. She acted surprised and said something about how I did in fact order the DELUXE arrangement that was $70+... She said she would also let the florist know how much I spent on the flowers. Again.. WHY DIDN'T THEY KNOW THIS INFORMATION IN THE FIRST PLACE?! Guess what? The THIRD replacement was NEVER sent! I'm writing a review on EVERY site possible. If you're considering using FTD.. DO NOT DO IT!!!!

I ordered flowers on December 8 to be delivered on December 10. I received phone call from FTD on December 10 stating local florist did not have a lantern to put in the piece I ordered. They wanted to send something else for a cheaper price. They told me they would give me credit for order I placed and create a new order for another piece it was 3.00 dollars cheaper. I asked if my order will be shipped on the 10 he assured me it would.
On December 11 I received email stating my order was delayed and would not be delivered until December 12. I called ftd they told me order cant be delivered. I explained everything and told him I was not happy. He said he would credit me the additional fee of $4.95 for same day delivery. I told him I paid $18.99 for this to be delivered plus additional $4.95 for same day delivery. He stated yes. I said this is not acceptable due to I wanted this delivered on December 10. He said he promised me it will be delivered on the 12th. So I paid all this money for delivery and not even delivered on the day I wanted it. He would not do anything for me. I will never order from them again.

Placed a floral order for my wife's birthday a few days in advance. I was unable to do anything for her this year because a medical issue has me laid up. Waiting all day, no flowers ever came. I felt terrible. I called FTD, and they gave me the excuse about the local florists being unable to fulfill the order. Why did they take the order?!? Why did they not notify me?!? Not just late, no ability to fulfill! FTD can NOT be trusted to help make someone's day special! Spend a few extra minutes and search for a local florist in the delivery area! Note: 1 star is one 1 many, but the lowest this site will accept!

My husband ordered flowers for our first year wedding anniversary. They were over a hundred dollars with delivery fees and honestly looked like they came from a super market. They were just shoved in a vase that was too small for the length of the floral and green leafs and there was no arrangement. It was not nearly as full as the image as well. He called and complained and they said they’d send a new arrangement, they never did. He will never use them again and I’d suggest 1-800 flowers or a super market in the future. They couldn’t be worse than this experience, FTD really ruined a fun surprise at work.

I ordered a bouquet to be sent on 11/6/19. The bouquet was “old, tired and not what I usually send” was the response to the gift. I contacted FTD via email 3 times and got no response. I then called customer service who ordered another bouquet to be sent. Never happened. Called back to be told they “can’t reach the florist” and they’re going to call me back. Never happened. It has been more than 3 weeks and this is still not resolved. I will never use FTD again. I should have stayed with 1800flowers as I usually do.

I placed an order for flowers to be delivered to my parents for Thanksgiving, supposed to be delivered on 11/25/19. I intentionally ordered them to be delivered that far in advance of Thanksgiving so that they may enjoy them throughout the week. I received a text that the flowers had been delivered that day. When I spoke with my parents, they had not received them.
11/26/19 I called customer service. I was told that they would message the florist and send another arrangement with an upgrade, I would be emailed when that would arrive. No email. No call. Nothing. 11/27/19 I called customer service again. I was told that the original order of flowers had been delivered and signed for and that’s why they never sent the replacement with an upgrade. Not sure who they were delivered to and signed by, but it was not my parents. I was made to feel that it was somehow my responsibility because someone signed for them and of course... They did not have a copy of that alleged signature. After discussion, the customer service rep said he would call the florist, explain they were not received and tell them to send with an upgrade and he would call me to let me know when that would happen. No phone call. No email.
11/27/19 I called customer service again. At this point, I had given 3 opportunities to make it right. The first time I ordered it and the two follow up phone calls to customer service. I asked to cancel the order. I received a confirmation email that it was cancelled and that I would be refunded. Then I receive an email from my mother that she received an order of flowers, that were pretty but looked like a pink spring bouquet in a plain glass vase in a very basic arrangement. I ordered a THANKSGIVING centerpiece with a candle lantern, in Thanksgiving color theme. What they sent was definitely not an upgrade, a significant downgrade from what I ordered and 2 days late! In the future, I will not order from FTD but directly from florists with 5 star reviews. The order was delayed, customer service was unsatisfactory, and the order received was nothing like what was ordered. If I could attach pictures, I would.

My niece's birthday was yesterday and since she lives in another state I decided to surprise her with a nice floral arrangement. I ordered the flowers on 11/15 with instructions to deliver on 11/22. The afternoon of 11/22 I received an email from FTD stating that the flowers had been delivered. I did not hear from my niece so I contacted her that evening and asked how she liked the flowers. She said "what flowers?" I chose this particular delivery date because I knew she would be home and she told me that yes she had been home all day and her father as well.
I contacted FTD last night and was told by a woman named Jessie that there had been a mistake and that the email confirming delivery was wrong. She said that the local florist said they had gone to my niece's home but no one was there. I know for a fact that is a lie. FTD offered to go back and try the next day but not only was the surprise factor ruined but my niece was not going to be there that day. I was furious so I told them no thanks. I asked for a refund which Jessie said I would receive. I will NEVER again use FTD for anything. Buyers beware!!!

My friend's Mother died. I got online and ordered flowers at 8:30am. I paid a nominal fee for same-day delivery. 7 hours later, I hadn't heard anything, so decided to get back online to see if there was a tracking system. There is. I entered the order # and the recipients last name as requested and got the response that the order does not exist. I called and spoke with someone who was able to pull up the order. She told me that the order won't be filled today, but promised it for tomorrow. I was very unhappy. They never tried to get hold of me to let me know.
In the morning, I still got the 'order does not exist' message. Then later in the day I started getting an 'order pending' message. I waited the entire day, knowing they'll deliver until 9pm. After 9pm, nothing, so I called. This time I got told that they can't deliver what I ordered, they'll have to switch it to something else entirely, and they'll have to mail it because they can't find a local florist! I asked to speak to a supervisor. I had to insist to speak to a supervisor because she didn't want to let me. He kept trying to tell me that there are no local florists - lie. This is a large CA city, and several other friends sent flowers *same day*.
I asked him why no one bothered to let me know what was going on so I could make other arrangements and he lied telling me their system won't let them. He told me that I *will* be notified. I said there is no *will*. They were supposed to have been delivered *yesterday*. I should have been contacted *yesterday*. He didn't get it, or just didn't care. I cancelled the order and now will attempt to get something delivered many days late thanks to this miserable company. Do not EVER use this antiquated, broken service.

I will never use FTD again. Ordered flowers for my mother in law who lost her husband this year. It was his birthday and we were trying to cheer her up. They didn't deliver. So I called and they said they would deliver the next day. I also emailed them. 4 days later flowers still not delivered. They never responded to my email. I just called them again and was on hold and then hung up on without even speaking to a human.

I will NEVER use or trust FTD again!!! The funeral spray I ordered was smaller than a bridal bouquet! I was shocked and contacted FTD stating that it was totally unacceptable and I was not satisfied. 5 emails, multiple calls and 2 months later and STILL nothing from FTD! Their satisfaction guarantee is garbage and just lip service.

Updated on 12/22/2019: I ordered a planter with an angel for a funeral in November. The card was messed up and the angel was not attached and there was no opportunity to correct. They wanted to charge me for their errors. When I posted a review I got a response. I was promised the 85.00 refund. I have yet to receive the refund email confirmation, the refund and after three attempts at customer service all I can get is the auto email stating it it will be looked at and I will be contacted. I think 6 weeks is too much time for a company to be nonresponsive. Don't waste your time and money like I have thinking FTD is reputable.

Very angry! You are thieves! I ordered on FTD.com (Order Number: **) for a delivery on Nov 7. The flowers never arrived. I wrote to customer care team to ask a refund but since I am still waiting for a reply... This is a THEFT. I want my money back! The worse webshop for flowers!!! And this is true also for their group in France. Ordered the same day on FTD France (Interflora) (Order Number: **) and same happened: no delivery! This time I received an answer. They told me the delivery guy passed but of course... he left no notification. Finally flowers popped 4 days after... and the flowers were not the ones I chose. They wanted to offer me 15eur for my next order! I will never order back on your website! Still waiting also to get my money back.
This is truly unacceptable to be stolen like this! We order flowers to give happiness when one is far away and this is a nightmare with you. This is not the first time it happens to me with you (several un-deliveries and also once, the delivery guy didn't know how to knock at a door and did throw the flowers above the fence!!!) and this time this is truly the LAST time I use FTD/interflora. You are thieves. You have no care at all. WORSE FLOWER DELIVERIES, WORSE CUSTOMER CARE TEAM.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers, that cost me over $80, a week in advance to make sure my mom was going to receive the flowers on her birthday this past Saturday (Nov. 9th, 2019). After ordering it and paying for it, I received the confirmation email. A couple days later I get a call from the company to verify my order.. I don't know if this is normal but I had to give them all my information (including my card number) again.. After giving him the number he said my order was still not coming up and to call back tomorrow to check on it again. So I did call and, without giving them my card number, said my order was coming up and there were no issues...
Every time I tracked my order the order status never changed and said it was still processing. I had called, emailed, and chatted online with FTD five times throughout the week repeatedly giving my name, the recipient's name and address, and the order number to them. So all my information was verified at least 6-7 times within the week. Yesterday, I thought the flowers would be shipped out in the morning, but it wasn't until 5:00pm when I received an email saying my flowers were delivered and at 6pm, I drove to my parents' house to celebrate my mother's birthday. To my dismay the flowers were not at my parents' house. I walked around the neighborhood a bit hoping they were delivered at a neighbors house, but they weren't.
I immediately called FTD and told them my situation and all they could do was call the florist, who was not picking up the phone. They told me "if or when they find the flowers" they'd send them to me as soon as possible and then hung up. I have never been so upset in my life. Not only did I order these flowers well in advance, and spent an excessive amount on them, but they didn't start delivering until it was dark outside, at the end of the day. ON top of that we never received her order. It was so upsetting as that was her birthday gift and I didn't say anything to her all day because I was hoping the flowers (with a message I had attached to them) would surprise her in the beginning or middle of her day. Truly truly upsetting.
I spent the first 45 minutes of the party contacting FTD by phone, an email through their website specifically for not receiving orders, as well as emailing a representative back on an email they told me to contact if something was wrong with the order. I never got a response, except when I talked to them on the phone and they just told me that they would try and find them or "if" they found them they'd send them to me again... I haven't heard back from them at all about this issue and I'm getting nervous that I'll never get my money back. I'll definitely be filing a claim against them if this continues and I don't receive a refund. They verified all my information enough where I don't understand how they could have screwed this up.
I've never written a negative review about a business or place before, but this has been the most disappointing, and aggravating experience I've ever gone through. Nothing about this process has been smooth. I don't even want the flowers anymore and I'm sure by the time they "find the flowers" that they'll be frozen, dead, and gross. I don't know why, but since the beginning I've felt nervous about this purchase and I thought it was just because this was the first time I've ever ordered flowers to be delivered to someone, but I think it's because this place is a scam.
If the flowers are hard to come by this time of year, or if there was a delay they need to tell their customers about it. But because I haven't heard anything from them and I've been the one reaching out multiple times throughout the day to make sure everything will ship smoothly, yet the customer service has no answers, they deliver flowers at the end of the day that you want them to arrive on, and chances are they probably aren't even at your house. Please, don't go through what I went through as it's taking a lot of time and energy to deal with this on top of not having a gift for the recipient. I gave them a lot of information and money for a product I have never received. If I could give this place 0 stars I would, but 1 is as low as it gets.

I placed an order for flowers, and they were over $80.00. I received the normal confirmation emails with two different order numbers, but my flowers were never delivered. I spoke to a gentleman in the afternoon of the delivery date to get an update on my order, but he could not give me any information, nor could he cancel the order. I could not get any assistance, but FTD sure withdrew the money from bank rather quickly. I have since tried to call FTD 18 times, but it continually rings busy. I also submitted two emails, one via their general email, and one via the email suggested by FTD in response to other complaints on this website. I have received no response from the general inquiry, and the other email (the one specifically suggested from FTD) was returned as undeliverable.
I have since submitted a request via PayPal, and have still not received a response from FTD. I will soon be escalating my PayPal case as a claim so I might be able to get my money back. It was oddly convenient for FTD that the customer service link on their website was broken, too. Please stay away from FTD - I think it is nothing more than a scam anymore.

I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday on Friday morning for delivery in a large city in Indiana. The flowers were supposed to be delivered on Saturday for her birthday. I received an email on Saturday evening that the flowers were delayed. The email said they tried to call me, but I had no messages. I responded to the email and gave instructions to deliver the flowers as soon as possible, but my mom never received the flowers. A week later the company cancelled my order on their own and returned my money. Ordered $100+ flower arrangement with $20 box of chocolates for my fiancé. Flowers were very nice but when I saw the $2 ALMOND JOY candy bar, I was shocked!! After responding to FTD’s survey, I was expecting them to make it right or at least change their FALSE ADVERTISING at check out (“small box of chocolates $19.95) - - but they never even responded or called. Buyer beware of their “BAIT AND SWITCH” rip off tactics!

I ordered flowers for my aunt's funeral on October 17 2019. The Funeral was the next day on October 18 2019. The order taker assured me the flowers would be delivered on time, assuming this would take place I never checked. My cousin called me today on October 27 2019 and said no flowers arrived by me. I called FTD order line and found out the flowers were not delivered that it was outside their delivery area but was not told this when I ordered them. I checked my credit card statement and was still charged, I'm glad I asked about the flowers or I would have been charged for something that was not delivered, I called FTD on October 27. They did refund my money, but they would not have if I did not call!

I received flowers from FTD.com that I was sent from someone. After opening the box I found the flowers dead, wilted, slimy and even smelled bad. I contacted the company to make them aware of this and was told by the representative I spoke with that he would have to have someone from their escalation team call me back. That was 3 days ago. Clearly they do no care about their product or customer service. I would not waste my money with this company.

I ordered the BEST "The Sweet Surprises® Bouquet" for a family member who was having surgery. I ordered it in advance to be delivered after she returned home so it wasn't a last minute order. It was delivered on SEP 25 as requested to her home, however, what she received WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE to the Sweet Surprises bouquet advertised!! This was supposed to be a full bouquet ('BEST') of pink roses (not miniatures) and daisies. I understand the FTD policy about the possibility of flowers being switched out. What FTD doesn't tell you is that also includes eliminating a large portion of the flowers.
What was received was a VERY SMALL (not even the size of the 'GOOD') bouquet advertised. There were literally 3-4 daisies, a couple of miniature roses and a few white alstroemeria. I did an online complaint to FTD asking for a refund and was informed they were reviewing my complaint. I never heard back from FTD again. I called FTD today 10/22/19 and was told I waited too long to call since the original complaint was a month ago--though technically it wasn't. The girl I spoke with would not make it right so I requested a supervisor.
The supervisor was rude, argumentative, and refused to give me a full refund. She highlighted the 'switch out' policy and I said I understood that but the florist didn't use any roses and the arrangement was less than 30% of the size it should have been. She finally agreed to a 50% refund and hung up on me. I received a refund but it wasn't 50% so I got ripped off a second time by FTD. I WILL NEVER USE FTD AGAIN!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS! There are too many other florists that will take care of you and sell what they advertise!!

I ordered flowers to be sent to the hospital the next day. They were not delivered with the excuse they couldn't find florist to deliver them. Customer service was horrible. I kept telling them why they couldn't deliver them today but after 3 times I gave up. Jessie, Gina and Tiffany were NO help at all. Will NEVER buy or recommend FTD again.

The company sent me a standard email stating the delivery on October 16th of a bunch of flower I was sending to my daughter in Washington, DC for her birthday. When I checked with my daughter on October 17th, she had not received the flowers yet. They were delivered only after I sent a protest, but too late for her birthday. What a pity!

I ordered flowers for a friend in another state for delivery. I received my email confirmation of the order. The day of the delivery I also received an email confirmation that the flowers were scheduled for delivery that day! I was so excited since that was the day of the birthday and that was the day I had planned. Three days later, I never heard from my friend so I was a little concerned regarding the order. When I called her, she never received the flowers. When I called FTD, three days later, they informed me that they are still looking for a local florist in Flagstaff Arizona. Can you even imagine? Customer service representative went further to ask if I would be willing to wait until they secured someone who could make the arrangement. Is that OUTRAGEOUS or what?
Furthermore they should never send out an email confirming that they are delivering the day of when they haven’t even have a florist behind the scenes that they work with. I find this to be very fraudulent and a misrepresentation of their services. Not to mention these flowers are actually listed under same-day delivery for that ZIP Code!!!! UNREAL! WOW!! I am completely finished and I will never order from this organization again. I would recommend you go somewhere else with your money!!!!

First of all I put in the wrong delivery address but then immediately called customer service and had that changed. Still delivered to first address/wrong address. Then took an extra 4 hours to deliver to corrected address that I corrected 2 nights before. Then when the roses arrived they were below par. I paid for the top tier and received below the bottom tier. I was suppose to get 25"H x 21"W and ended up with 21"H x 12"W. I was angry because it took until 4pm, even though they called at 12 pm at the wrong address, so I didn't have time to go back out and get new ones. (The wrong address and corrected address are only 10 minutes apart). Also the fact that I paid a large price to have a large bouquet of roses and got a terrible attempt of a bouquet.
One good thing out of the experience was customer service at the end of the transaction because they gave me a full refund. The people who dropped off the flowers did come back and pick up the sad attempt at a bouquet of roses. So all in all my wife ended up with 0 flowers even though I ordered top of the line, but thankfully I didn't have to pay for the flowers. 2 star review only because they refunded me in full. Other than that it was a 1 star experience.

I ordered a beautiful arrangement to be delivered the following day to my sister's home to celebrate a BIG birthday... I was so excited to brighten her day. I even received a confirmation email that the flowers had been delivered so I called her to see what she thought and she never received them. She ended up calling FTD to see where they delivered them and was told that there had been a problem and would be delivered the following Thursday (5 days after her birthday) and they would upgrade the arrangement. No flowers, BUT I received a second confirmation that they were going to be delivered. Tried 5x's to get through the FTD 800# only to be transferred to their survey recording asking if my issue had been resolved...UGGGHHHHH!!
I kept trying, finally got an agent, who after 30 minutes, finally transferred me to a supervisor, WHO I had to explain the entire story AGAIN. Since my sister was going away this weekend for her birthday I asked them to assure me that they would send this arrangement to that location and I was assured they would. I will be back and post an update, however after reading ALL these many 1 star reviews for the same thing, I'm not hopeful. WHAT IS GOING ON FTD???? What has happened to you?? You used to be so reliable. Something horrible has happened to you and it's so sad.

I ordered some flowers on Saturday Oct 5th to deliver to a funeral on Wed Oct 9th at 9am ET. The funeral is over without my flowers being delivered. The irresponsibility of FTD is unacceptable. I had ordered flowers to be delivered to a friend for congratulations on her engagement. The arrangement was delivered and the flowers around the bottom of the arrangement we broken off the stems. Clearly this happened during the delivery process, but is unacceptable if I am paying someone to deliver an item and was charged 17.99 for this fee. I had received a response back from Tina ** at FTD in regards to my dissatisfaction. We had agreed on a resolution to have the arrangement redelivered. She told me that a re-delivery was scheduled for 9/27/19 and as of 10/3/19 there has been no delivery. I am extremely dissatisfied and will no longer be using FTD for my floral arrangement needs, nor will I recommend them to others. If you say you are going to do something you need to follow through, if you don't then it will further disappoint and will most definitely ensure that someone takes their business elsewhere.

Michael from FTD customer service contacted me immediately after this review and we worked to a resolution. The problem was still there, it was explained to me and apologized for. FTD is sending a complementary chocolate tower to my recipient.
I don't know how anyone could avoid this issue in the future, apparently the florist didn't have the correct flowers and had let FTD know. Someone was supposed to contact me and ask about a substitution, which did not happen and at that point my order when stagnant. I thought there was a substitution clause somewhere that I had agreed to. I was told the agent that didn't follow through would be talked to.

I am writing this Wednesday morning, 10/2, 11am. I placed an online order for a birthday gift to be delivered 9/30/19. I have the fully confirmed receipt. I waited all day to hear from the recipient about the surprise bouquet - nothing. Tuesday morning I go to the FTD site and use "trace my order" option. I get no response at all. I have used to other online companies 'trace my orders' and it never takes long to get an answer. I never did get an answer. Unfortunately, next, I had to contact the recipient to make sure it wasn't left outside, with a neighbor, etc. They were very happy with the thought of the gift, but no flowers, anywhere. I then email customer service, stating if it isn't delivered that night - Tuesday, forget it, because the Birthday and the surprise is over. No response to this email either.
Last night, I received a brand new email - not a response - stating there is a delay in delivery and it wont be delivered until THURSDAY! I didn't see this email until this morning. I responded on their site as directed in the email this morning stating to cancel this order, do not charge my card. I get an immediate reply that the order is canceled. ha
I won't be back to FTD, simply because I cannot take the chance to have this happen again with no explanation. It was embarrassing to me. This is not a rural area, this is tri-state NJ with plenty of florists in the delivery town. I should have contacted a local florist, but I thought - oh, FTD, how convenient. I would really like to know what happened. I am guessing either the order didn't get to the florist or it did and the florist dropped the ball. Either is no good. Next I will check my card to make sure nothing is charged.

Today was my 14th Wedding Anniversary. I ordered roses to be delivered to my wife. Not only did they fail to deliver the roses, they never even contacted us about not being able to deliver. Afraid that they were running late, my wife and I skipped going out to dinner to celebrate our anniversary since we thought they still might come. When I went to the FTD website to check the status of my order it said it would check with the local florist and send me an email on the status of the delivery. I received no response. This is the first time l have not gotten a card or present for my wife on our Anniversary. I will never use FTD again and will recommend to all my friends to be cautious when using FTD. This is the first time that I have been so upset that I felt I needed to post a negative review.

I ordered an expensive, overpriced bouquet of flowers for my mother for an important occasion, specifically asking for it to be delivered on a particular day. Without notification, delivery was postponed BY 2 FULL DAYS. When I called, customer service representative did not seem to care, offering only for the flowers to be delivered the next day, when my mother would not even be home, and two days after the occasion. They offered a few dollars compensation which did not make a real dent in the exorbitant price, and did nothing to repair the damage they did. I would not recommend FTD - better to contact your local florist!

I ordered flowers for same day delivery service to be sent to my friend that just got really bad news the day before. I was looking forward to cheering her up with a lovely bouquet. Instead the flowers were never delivered. I made the order at 9 am and at 9 pm, I checked to see what had happened with the delivery. I had not received any emails or phone calls. It was not until I tracked the order that I was told the order couldn't be filled and that I needed to contact customer service. Once I did, customer service said that they could have the flowers delivered Monday (I ordered the flowers on Saturday). If I wanted the flowers delivered Monday, I would have had them delivered Monday. I refused and asked for a refund. Terrible service. I will never use them again. Now because of the time of night it is, I will not be able to have an order sent to her until Monday. I live 6 hours away and I could have delivered the flowers faster myself. What if this was for a funeral?!

I chose FTD to deliver the flowers for a very emotional and time sensitive occasion because they offered the same day delivery. They charged me for the delivery plus the same day delivery fee but failed to deliver the flowers on the day guaranteed. They also failed to communicate that to me. They never contacted me to let me know that they were unable to deliver my gift. After I found out from the recipient's mother that the gift was never delivered, I asked FTD to fix their mistake. They apologized and guaranteed the delivery the very next day. Guess what? They still didn't deliver! Unacceptable! Save yourself time and give your business to 1-800-FLOWERS.

I ordered flowers for my mother in law's funeral from FTD the day before the viewing. When I get to the viewing I didn't see them. Already paid for 219.00. So I contacted them and they told me they are sorry they couldn't fill my order. This was poor customer service. And a lack of respect to me and my family. I feel they had all day to contact me and let me know they couldn't take care of my order so I could have at least gotten them from somewhere else. Sad, sad, I will never use them again and Facebook goes a long long way. Thanks but no thanks. If I could rate a -0 I would.

Ordered flowers for my club brother's funeral two days in advance to be delivered today at noon. Received a call at 6:00 pm that FTD had failed to secure a florist. I stayed on hold a bit only to speak with someone who could barely speak English. I’m sickened and embarrassed that at in a time of mourning a once reputable company has fallen so low. The sad thing is nothing can be done after such a loss. I will never used FTD again and I will make sure as many people as possible know the reason.

I ordered a Premium Arrangement ($80) for a funeral service. I didn’t receive an email confirming delivery. So I called FTD to confirm. The flowers were delivered for the service. I then asked my sister-in-law if the flowers did arrive and she confirmed as well with a picture. Much to my dismay the arrangement wasn’t anything like what a Premium arrangement should look like. I was quite disappointed because I expected something quite a bit larger. I called FTD to explain what happened and I was refunded for a standard arrangement with no issue whatsoever. The standard price for this arrangement is $40. I was refunded for a cheap arrangement $21. Again, not what I expected. Totally disappointed and embarrassed.

Ordered flowers on Sep 23rd for a neighbors passing to be delivered on 23rd. I checked the status online on the night of the 23rd and received an email the morning of the 24th stating the delivery was delayed. Now it was to be delivered on the 24th. The morning of the 25th I saw my neighbor outside and asked how his wife liked the arrangement and to my surprise he told me they hadn't received any arrangement. So I ordered on the 23rd for a 23rd delivery and it's now the 25th and no delivery has been made, what an embarrassing situation FTD put me in. I called their 1-800 number and was connected to a lady. I'm sure was in Asia and hard to understand, she asked if I wanted her to call the local florist and ask them if they could still deliver today (25th), at this point I had lost all faith in FTD and sternly told her no just refund my money. I will never use FTD again, and before FTD gets on here and asks for the order number it is **.

Placed an online order last night. I did not write the order number down as I figured I would get an e-mail. I didn't. So, I called about the card on the order and the woman that answered the phone stated that they were going through a computer update and could not add my name to the card but, they would call me back. Next morning I was suspicious that there was something wrong as I still did not have an e-mail confirmation.
I contacted them and they tried to look it up with my name and zip, my e-mail, the recipient's name and zip, and my credit card number and they can't find anything. However, there is now a charge pending on my Visa and they cannot dispute it until it posts. Now, I have to order a sympathy bouquet from another florist, this time I will deal with a store in her state, and have another charge go through while I dispute my Visa charge which I bet will take quite some time. Have asked the supervisor I spoke with at FTD for this to be escalated to upper management for a call.

DO not fall for FTD's false advertisement about applying frequent flyer mileage when you purchase through Mileage Plus Shopping or American Advantage Shopping. I have been a victim of this scam twice. I assumed the first time was just an accident, but the 2nd time was exactly the same. On the most recent transaction, after purchasing flowers on Mother's day (MAY 2019) I followed all instructions and made sure I was going through Mileage plus shopping site, and at the end it even asked me for my Frequent Flyer number which I entered. I waited 8 weeks, for the 2000+ miles promised and nothing was deposited. I contacted Mileage plus and they bounced me to FTD, saying this program is through FTD.
After talking to an incoherent representative at FTD, I was sent to another dept, and and told I have to e-mail to request the miles. I did everything they requested, and submitted the receipt. They replied that the miles will be deposited in 6-8 Weeks. I waited again, and after nothing was deposited, I contacted them again, just to be told wait 6-8 weeks. I believe this is their SCAM to try not to deposit the miles and hope that you will forget! I had a similar experience when purchasing from FTD through the AAdvantage Shopping site earlier this year. Do not fall for FTD's SCAM! They will not deposit the miles based on my repeated experience. I routinely shop through AAdvantage and Mileageplus sites, and FTD is the only company that has pulled this stunt.

The flowers did not arrive so I called customer service Sunday and was told the florist did not deliver to her address. I was never notified of any problems until I called. I ordered flowers on Friday, September 13th for a wake on Saturday, September 14th from 1:00 - 3:00 only. There was no service after that. Much to my surprise the flowers were never delivered even though I received an email that they were. They had the correct address which I confirmed. I have written to customer service 4 times and have not had one response! Just the automatic reply they will get back to me. The flowers cost $70.00 and I'd like my money back! I do not recommend FTD nor will I buy from them again. They do not deliver and they don't reimburse! Ridiculous!!

I ordered flowers yesterday for a family member to receive on her birthday. Having recently lost her young mother to a painful illness, I knew the arrival of these flowers would truly brighten her day. My order was placed at 10:50 am. At 5:50 pm, seven hours later, I receive an e-mail that the order will be delayed by one day. I request a refund from FTD and scramble to contact a local florist, but it is too late in the day at this point.
The following day I contact FTD. Hoping to receive an explanation of where the issue occurred; the first rep has zero empathy or compassion, when I simply want to know why they didn't just send a similar bouquet. I ask to speak to her supervisor--this supervisor only focuses on the fact that I requested a refund at 6 pm the day I ordered the flowers and therefore the order was canceled. Talk about frustrating!
Realizing I am getting nowhere, I ask to speak to his supervisor. I've now been on the phone with FTD for 30 minutes, with no explanation of how they dropped the ball on my order. The second supervisor takes no responsibility on FTD's part. She explains that they e-mailed a local florist, and then places blame on the local florist for not getting back to them in time. Needless to say, we will never use FTD, ever again and highly recommend anyone reading this review to do the same. Go directly through a local florist. Any $15 delivery fee is far more worth it than the stress and time wasted trying to connect with a compassionate person at FTD.

What I experienced today, was unacceptable! I ordered an arrangement online, for a friend that lost her battle with breast cancer. I have had it happen once before, where an order was delayed, over and over again, so I did my due diligence, and called the toll free number, and also did 3, yes 3, chat sessions! The second to the last chat session, I was told that the florist said the order would be received by 4pm. Wed 4pm had come and passed, I opened up another chat, just to be told that the order was not received by the florist! Oh, and that you would give me an upgrade for free! This is the last time I am ever, going to use FTD again! BEWARE BUYERS!

I purchased the "Sweet Surprises Bouquet" from FTD Flowers. The website allows you to select good for $40, better for $50, and best for $60. I selected "best" hoping it would be close to the size presented in the picture. The total costs with all fees was $88. My fiance received the bouquet from a local florist affiliated with FTD within 2 hours of ordering which was nice. However, the bouquet contained 3 red roses, 3 white roses, 3 white mini carnations and filler. That is it! The flowers were very poor quality. It definitely appears the local florist received a notice of the order, grabbed an old bouquet from their shelf, and delivered it.
I am certain if I went to that same local florist and paid $88 they would have been embarrassed to hand me that bouquet. I am deeply disappointed in the poor quality and age of the flowers. I definitely do not recommend ordering online through FDR since they cannot control the product you receive. Also, I contacted FTD customer service but still no reply. I'm assuming customer service is back-logged due to the complaints being filed.

I ordered flowers last Thursday for delivery on Tuesday. The flowers were for my fiancé's birthday. The flowers for this birthday had more meaning after she recently lost her Mom to cancer. I provided as much advance notice because I was in meetings all day on Tuesday, although I wasn't expecting any calls/emails. Unfortunately FTD sent an email on Tuesday morning (same day as delivery) with a note that the flowers were unavailable and couldn't be delivered. I didn't see the email until 3pm when I had a break during my meeting. I immediately called the 800 number and was on hold for 10 minutes until I finally hung up.
Prior to going back to my meeting, I sent multiple emails with no response. It is Wednesday morning and I still have yet to receive a response. I felt so embarrassed when I got home to see my girlfriend. At the very least, I would've expected more notice on Friday or Monday that the flowers were unavailable, so I can place a different order for timely delivery. No flowers were delivered and I would not recommend FTD based on my experience.

On more than one occasion now FTD has failed to come through with delivery on the date selected. There is no phone call or email to alert me that the delivery would not be made and why it would not be made. When I call customer service they are appear to be helpful but there is nothing that they can do when it is past delivery date. When asked for some sort of compensation for missed delivery I am told they do not do that. If I could give negative stars I would.

I ordered flowers for a friend in memory of the loss of their spouse 5 years ago. The anniversary of that day was a Sunday so I requested Saturday delivery and paid the $29.99 fee for Saturday delivery. FTD shipped it UPS GROUND - Monday delivery. FTD tried to blame UPS for the delay but it wasn't UPS's fault it was shipped Ground. FTD CS basically couldn't give a **. Refunded the shipping fee but that doesn't solve the problem of it being delivered a day late!!! Will never use FTD again. Ever.

I ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday online at 11:00 am on 9/4 and requested (and paid for) same day delivery. I submitted a request for status, via the website 3 times in the late afternoon; never received a response. By 7 pm I had not heard from my daughter, so I sent an e-mail, via the website, asking about my order. I sent another. No response. I called, was put on hold for 18 minutes, then disconnected. I called back twice more and on the third time, after 42 minutes, I finally was able to speak to a live person. I explained what I was looking for and after putting me on hold, he told me that he was very sorry, but they couldn't find a florist and the flowers weren't delivered. I asked why no one informed me of this earlier - why I had to call, 8 hours after I placed the order, to find out it was never fulfilled? He told me they should have sent an e-mail. Couldn't find a florist - in Portland, Oregon? I don't believe that.
The rep told me he'd credit the same day charge, but said they would be delivered the next day. Since my daughter's birthday was not the next day, I asked that they be delivered in morning. He said he'd also have the florist add to the bouquet. So, no flowers for my daughter's birthday. This morning (9/5), at 6 am, I received a text that said FTD was happy to inform me that the flowers would be delivered today. I submitted a request for status, online at around 4 pm. No response. I contacted my daughter at 4:50 and she had still not received them. I contacted FTD again and cancelled my order. They said they needed to contact the florist, put me on hold then came back and told me they couldn't get a hold of the florist. They said deliveries can be made up to 8 pm. At that point, my daughter's birthday was over and the 2nd day they still hadn't been delivered by 5 pm.
I told them to cancel my order and send me a confirmation. FTD delivers flowers. I submitted the order via the website. I submitted several requests via e-mail and via the order tracker - never received a response, except a canned, 'thank you for your e-mail, we'll get this to the right department....". I haven't experienced this poor of customer service in a very long time. I wanted my daughter, in another state, to have flowers for her birthday. FTD failed at the one thing they do. I will NEVER use them again and tell everyone who asks what a poor job they did with my order. They get one star because zero stars isn't an option.

My experience was horrible. Not only would they provide me with the local florist who would create and delivery, but the arrangement did not look anything like what I ordered. It was like they just threw a few flowers together and delivered it. I will NEVER order from here again. This was for my mother's retirement, a one time celebration. I placed an order on Friday, 8/23, to have flowers delivered on Saturday, 8/24, to my girlfriend at the hospital. That day had a special significance, and FTD failed to deliver them. On top of not delivering the flowers, I had to call late in the day on Saturday (Around 4:30pm) in order to find out that they would not be delivered. I should not have had to call them to find out this information. If I had been notified sooner I could have made other arrangements to get her flowers. The customer service representative was not sympathetic. I sent an email to their customer support and never received a response. That will be the last time I use this company.

My boyfriend ordered me a flower delivery for my birthday, and they arrived on time. Tiger Lillies and Iris, a beautiful bright scented combo, if the blooms would go as planned. The only buds that opened were the blooms that were present. All the Iris were dried out like corn husks. I emailed the company 3 times in 2 days with photos and never received a response. It's so disappointing and sad to my heart for the beautiful effort my boyfriend put forth. It's better to have a local florist deliver. I'm so disappointed. 4 days later now, It looks like Morticia Addams Vase in my kitchen. Never again. I wish I could share a photo.

On August 23rd I ordered a flower delivery (online) FTD, for my sister’s birthday, which was on August 25th. That fell on a Sunday, so the flowers were guaranteed to be delivered the day before - Saturday the 24th.. Since I could not be there to celebrate her special day, I picked a beautiful arrangement to surprise her. On the FTD order page it indicated my sister would be called to schedule a delivery. (She was never called and was home all day). FTD also indicated they sometimes just leave it at the recipient’s house. On Sunday I called to wish her a Happy Birthday and found out she never received the flowers! I cannot tell you how disappointed and upset I was: No phone call to me to let me know the order would not be delivered but just an immediate charge for a service by FTD not performed as promised. I will never use this service online again and will stick to local florists in the area of delivery in the future. I advise everyone to do the same.

Fair warnings, when flowers are not in stock there is no delivery nor is there a follow up with the customer to make other arrangements. Without my persistence on following up (yes giving adequate time for delivery) no flowers would have been delivered and FTD would be happy to keep my money. This is the second time within 6-months. I made the mistake of trusting FTD and I was totally scammed and ripped off. I ordered an arrangement with one of their telephone con artist for $145.00 and when it arrived it was actually 1/3rd the size. I counted the flowers, literally 60% were missing. They also charged extra for a banner to go across the spray, this was a very important part of the arrangement to me and they pocketed the money and didn't even put it on! Unbelievable that they would rip someone off in their time of sympathy...shame on these scammers!!!

I work as an administrative assistant and every time my assistant have a family member pass I send them flowers from FTD. I decided to send 50 long stem red roses to my mom. I was shocked when I received them that half of them were not even close to long stem. Already some are dead because they shipped them UPS with nothing to protect them from the heat. We live in Louisiana and it is close to 100 degrees outside so just imagine how hot it is in a truck all day with no AC. I am so disappointed and will not be ordering any more flowers from FTD.

I placed a same-day flower delivery at 1am EDT Saturday, August 17, 2019 for a visitation being held at 4pm at a funeral home. It was for my boss's relative and my boss's boss to me to make sure flowers were sent. I received the confirmation email and thought everything was good until this morning, Monday, August 19, 2019, I received an email stating "Please accept our sincere apologies. We regret to inform you that there is a delay in the delivery of your gift." The flowers were not delivered so I called FTD.com. When I asked why they were not delivered, they said it was "because our local florist was not going to that area". I told them it would have been nice if they could have told me so I could have used another company. They offered to send the flowers to the family and I told them I would check with my boss to see if that would be acceptable.
As the call was closing, the representative told me to stay on the line if I would like to take a brief survey. I stayed on the line but the representative immediately hung up. After I spoke with my boss, there was no interest in having the flowers sent to the family. A refund was preferred. I called FTD.com back and told them to just process a refund. They said they would, and again told me to stay on the line to complete a survey at the end of the call. As soon as the representative finished saying those words, the line went dead again.

My mother's 89th birthday was today, August 18. Friday, August 16 I made an order with FTD online mainly because it said, "guaranteed same day delivery." No flowers came. I called the FTD number and they said, "Oh we're sorry, we couldn't find a company, so the flowers won't be delivered until Tuesday." Can't find a florist in a town of 50,000? No notice the flowers would not be delivered. I will never use FTD again. My mother was understanding, but I could tell also disappointed. Shame on you FTD.

I purchased flowers for my wife for our 21st wedding anniversary. I had them delivered to her work to surprise her. When they arrived she sent me a text message with a photo saying thank you. The photo of the arrangement did not look that full and vibrant. Not like the photo on the website at all. Very little bloom to the flowers. Two days later hardly any bloom, and they actually were starting to die. I contacted FTD customer service several times and I even sent them photos. NO response! None at all. I am very unsatisfied with this purchase. For the price I paid I could have gotten several arrangements from the local grocery store that are far superior to this one. I will never order from FTD again. And if asked by anyone I will tell them my experience.

Hello, I ordered this particular bouquet (on left) for the memorial service for Betty ** in Independence, MO and I even upgraded to the deluxe. The picture on the right is what was actually sent. Most of the lilies hadn't even bloomed and I paid a total of $112 for this. I am extremely disappointed in this arrangement and I will post my displeasure on your website and Yelp. Ordered flowers for a very important occasion only to be told at 3:30 the day of that they could not deliver...after they had already taken my money. I feel they should have known before they took my order and my money that they couldn't make it happen. Even if they couldn't do it that day they could have let me know before 3:30PM so I could find someone who could get it taken care of. I usually always use 1800Flowers and have never had this problem, figured I would give FTD a try but I'm highly disappointed. Will never use FTD again. Called to get my money back and of course it will take 5-7 Business days. It's funny how quickly they could take the money but how slow they give it back after they make a mistake. The only reason I gave 1 star is because 0 isn't an option.

My boyfriend and I were celebrating our 6 year anniversary and I wanted to surprise him with a beautiful arrangement. I requested to have it delivered Friday. I received an email saying it was delivered. When I got to his house, I asked if he received the arrangement. He said he had no idea. Well there goes the surprise. I emailed FTD Customer Service twice that night, asking why they weren't delivered when they said it was. Since it was the weekend, I knew I wouldn't likely receive a response. We went about our weekend, and it wasn't until SUNDAY when my boyfriend's mother told me the flowers did get delivered, SATURDAY NIGHT. I took a look them and they were completely dry and dead. It was almost as if the delivery person forgot them in their car overnight! I am extremely disappointed and feel like I was ripped off $95. Nothing like celebrating 6 years together with DEAD flowers. I will never be using FTD again.

Sent another and again looks nothing like the picture. I sent 3 emails to customer service with pictures. They never responded. Finally called and the person I spoke with argued with me about sending the emails. He kept telling me they never received any. He gave me another email so I sent another with the pictures. He said that goes to corporate. They will review it. I will never order from them again. There was maybe 6-7 flowers and the ugliest filler, it was full not vibrant like the picture shows. This order was placed online and paid for. My mother is on hospice and several people have sent her goodies over the last few weeks. Minimal information returned for both the order and the tracking but there was at least an order number and a tracking number. Order placed 7/29/19 and promised delivery between 7/31/19 and 8/2/19. Order never arrived at any point from 7/31/19 or 8/2/19. The calls about all the others with FTD have all ended the same way. The primary call went to an FTD local service when the delivery was in St. Petersburg which made no sense at all. That call to FTD was the most unprofessional I have ever experienced throughout my life. It was like the person was in her early teens and arguing with me. That call left me unhappy and the issues unresolved. We had at least gone through the address and determined that they had printed out several incorrect address issues.
By 8/7 it still wasn't here. Another unresolved request was acquired when I spoke to yet another rude and immature customer service representative. I had spoke to UPS and FTD representative both that day. Once again, We went through and put down the correct issue, with a promise that the package would be delivered by the sender to the correct address and it would arrive on 8/9/19. I am writing this review because I'm just sick and tired of all the BS I've had to go through over the last 3 months. This is a well-known company that seems to have a high rating and I certainly don't think I should need to fight so hard to get flowers and such delivered to my mother when she is dying. Nor should people who are actively trying to grief and spread love have to deal with the pure incompetence.
This whole situation has soured me to the point where I am contacting several of the people who have been involved in fixing orders to have them cancel their orders and reorder from a local company down the street from me. I will also be spreading the story myself to help other people avoid complications. It's going to hit FTD in the wallet and in their business rating and maybe they will return to a time where honor, good quality product, excellent customer service, and a lack of lying will help things improve. No matter how much improvement they make, I'm not going to be using them anymore. Hopefully, they will learn on time. This review is also going to the BBB.

Placed an order 3 days before the funeral service. Got an e-mail confirmation of my order with a second e-mail confirming the delivery. Thought all went well until I get a 3rd e-mail stating they couldn't find a florist to handle my order. Received this e-mail several hours AFTER the service ended leaving me no chance to try and find an alternate way to pay my respects. Will never use FTD again.

Ordered same-day flower delivery for an important occasion at around 11:30 am and received email confirmation. Website indicated 2:00 pm cutoff for same-day. Received a call from FTD about 2:15 pm saying they would NOT deliver that day because the ONE florist they use in the delivery area had a 10:00 am cutoff for same-day delivery (???). Was too late to order elsewhere. This was not some small town but a metropolitan area of around 1 million people with probably 100+ florists in the area. Customer service apologetic but not HELPFUL, except to say that 2:00 pm doesn't always mean 2:00 pm. Recommend going elsewhere.

My flowers were not delivered on the correct date that I asked for. I had to call customer service four times to actually understand when my flowers were going to be delivered. One of the girls on the phone was quite rude with me saying "I'm not going to repeat myself, I've told you already what's going to happen". They told me they would upgrade my flowers but I never received written proof of this. The flowers ended up being delivered but was not like the picture online in my opinion. Very expensive for what the service is. It was stressful when It should have been an exciting time to send a gift.

We placed an order recently, paid over $90 for it, but received only about half of the quantity of flowers pictured, packed in with greenery in a kind of ugly grandma vase. It was no means as grandiose as described or pictured on FTD.com. Also, we have sent several emails with our order number to FTD customer service custserv@ftd.com however they have not issued a response other than an autoreply saying they're forwarding it to the appropriate dept. We had initially asked for a 50% refund because they did send "some" flowers, but now we are asking for a full refund since they are also ignoring us.

I ordered a beautiful SAME DAY delivery sympathy arrangement for a death in the family on TUESDAY 9:00 a.m. On a trip out of town THURSDAY, I checked emails when I arrived at my destination, to find one from FTD which had come in earlier that morning (9:19 a.m.) which stated there had been a delay of delivery, to please contact them for alternate arrangements. The email also stated they had attempted to reach me by phone. Never happened.
Furious does not begin to describe what I felt. I called FTD only to have the call answered by someone I could barely understand as English was not his native language. Not his fault, and I always try to be patient as I know the people who work in these call centers just need to make a living like the rest of us. However, this language barrier only added to a very frustrating situation as I was about to walk into an appointment for which I could not be late. He apologized & continually asked to put me on hold while he attempted to find a florist who could fulfill my order.
I repeatedly explained that I was going to be late for an appointment & could not be put on hold. I informed him to get it handled & leave me a voicemail confirming the same when it was done, as I would not be available until after 5:00 p.m. He continued to repeat he couldn't do that. He must put me on hold to fulfill the order. I demanded a call from a supervisor after 5:00 p.m. or the following day. He stated that was not possible.
At this point to keep from being late, I demanded a full refund. He agreed to this. I asked for a confirmation number on the refund & he stated my original order number was my confirmation number. I did not have the luxury of spending any more time on the phone to argue how that made absolutely no sense, so I ended the phone call, deciding I would deal with it later.
I did get an email within minutes of ending the phone call confirming a refund was being applied to my order, along with a refund confirmation number, not at all the same as my original order number. There was, however, no indication as to how long the credit would take to post back to my credit card. Just one more thing to have to remember to follow up on. INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL & UNACCEPTABLE. I will always, always take the time to look up a local florist & call direct. FTD rips off the consumer as well as the local florists they use.
Not only does it appear to my family that I didn't even have the sympathy & decency to send flowers in a timely manner during an extremely grief filled moment in their lives, but the ineptitude of the customer service representative & the department as a whole for taking two days to inform me of the situation ultimately caused me to be late for my meeting. SHAME ON FTD!!!

About ten days ago I ordered flowers for my friend's birthday and although I mentioned the delivery date (19th of July which is in my receipt too) they delivered it one week earlier and spoiled my surprise! Moreover there was a balloon with the flowers which I even hadn't ordered and the flowers didn't look like the Muse™ Bouquet which I spent at least one hour to choose from their website to make my friend happy! I felt very disappointed and I emailed the customer service but I received an automatic reply thanking me for my feedback and it's been a week that no one has contacted me from this company to explain. I even don't have a proper order number as the order number in the subject of the receipt email is different with what is written in the email content! Email subject: **. Email content: **. Terrible experience with FTD!! I purchased a Groupon. The voucher did not work, now neither Groupon is answering nor FTD, when I try to follow-up. I called FTD, spoke to this women who took my details to complete the purchase via phone and totaled it to 70$ when it was originally a total of 35 inclusive of taxes. She said there was an additional service charge that did not even show up when I checked out in the first place.

I do not normally reach out and complain about businesses, however, I ordered for my elderly parents to send flowers to their sister’s funeral. They could not fly and make the trip so we ordered flowers on their behalf. I have ordered from online company before and have been satisfied… Until this order. This order looked pitiful, droopy flowers, droopy babies breath and to top it off the basket was falling apart. This arrangement was nothing like what we were ordering with the online picture in mind. Now, I understand that the order would not look exactly like the online picture, that never happens, however, like I said… My orders in the past have been fine/acceptable but this order looks like a 5 year old put it together at the last minute. I placed an order on Friday for delivery on Monday. After no mention of receiving the flower from the recipient, I called customer services. I spoken to numerous agents and they all say the same thing. “We know how important this is to you.” It’s Wednesday and the arrangement has yet to be delivered. You can spend your money elsewhere and get better service and timely service. Don’t settle for anything than what you paid for when you spend your hard earned money.

I ordered flowers online for a funeral on a Thursday. The only day for the viewing was Friday morning. I had received a confirmation email that morning that they would be sent. I received an email at 10:10 Friday EVENING that the flowers I selected were unavailable, to please contact them to make a substitution. The woman was already 6 feet under at this point, a substitution delivery at a later date was clearly impossible. Now the family has absolutely NO idea that I was thinking of them on their worst day. I am appalled.

I ordered a bouquet and received one about half the size of what is pictured online. And I was charged $91 for this scam! For instance, the picture clearly showed 10 roses - the bouquet I received had 4. I will never buy here again and would advise anyone to spend their money elsewhere.

My husband ordered a bouquet for our anniversary in July 1st. In spite of the email confirming they were in the way - they never arrived. Using the quick help button he sent a query. Two days later and no reply. Customer service was called and offered to get us flowers on July 8th. Really, FTD? He waited for a supervisor who offered nothing additional. I had used FTD for a delivery on a non-holiday for my Mother’s birthday in February in Arizona. They did not deliver in spite of a similar email saying they were on the way. When they did arrive the next day - flowers were DOA. Horrible service, horrible flowers. With multiple providers as competitions FTD is no longer an acronym you can count on.

I ordered (#**) the Sunlit Days floral arrangement online eight days ago and was delivered an arrangement that was not what I paid for. I sent two emails to customer service last Tuesday and Thursday with a photo of the incorrect arrangement that was delivered and I have heard nothing from both emails. After four days of waiting, I phoned customer service on Friday and spoke with someone who barely spoke English. All he did was continually apologize for the error but not solve my problem. The gentleman stated he had no knowledge of the two emails I sent, the phone and email systems are independent of one another. The service rep also said the company has a substitution policy when the arrangement you order is not available. In reading the policy it states, the item substituted would be of equal or greater value. The Hello Sunshine arrangement sent was of lesser value based on the FTD website.
The rep said he would send an email to the florist to resend the correct arrangement or FTD will offer me a refund, someone would contact me with the resolution. That phone conversation was four days ago and I have not heard from FTD or the florist nor have I received a refund. I am a member of the FTD Gold Membership and have already purchased over a dozen arrangements this year, you would think someone would be following up on my emails or phone call. To say I am disappointed in their service is an understatement. What does it take to receive the product you ordered or be communicated to? What a fiasco!

I placed an online order with FTD at 11:30 a.m. on a Thursday when I learned a business partner's last day was the next day, Friday. Online they offered same day service for an additional cost of $4.99 which seemed reasonable. At 7:30 p.m. that evening I received a phone call from FTD stating that they could not acquire a florist for the delivery. For this problem, they offered to add additional flowers to the vase and have it delivered the next day. I asked them to be certain to deliver the flowers by 2:00 p.m. as I knew she would be leaving the office, on her last day, by that time.
At 1:30 p.m. on Friday, I decided to call FTD to learn the status of the order only to find out that they would AGAIN not be able to deliver until Monday. I asked why they did not call me and they said the night team calls about these issues. I immediately asked for a refund and only after several times explaining that this was her LAST DAY IN THE OFFICE, did they say they would. It has been three hours, and though I have yet to see the refund hit my card, I am now going to call my credit card to dispute the charges.

What I experience, I hope nobody else has to. This is a warning to make sure FTD complete your order in a timely fashion. My best friend's mother died. Her mom was like a second mom to me. I wasn't able to attend the funeral, therefore, I wanted to show my respect by sending flowers. The funeral was on a Wednesday morning. I went online Monday to FTD Flowers service knowing and believing that my order will be complete. Because it is NOT a mom and pop type of business... so I thought.
Boy was I completely wrong. Monday, I ordered FTD online to have flowers delivered to the church on Tuesday. The funeral was Wednesday morning at the church. I completed all the information FTD asked for online to complete my order. My order was completed and confirmed for Tuesday's delivery.... Now for the surprise. I got a call Wednesday around 3:30pm asking me what time is the funeral? I said, "What? Those flowers were supposed to have been delivered to the church Tuesday."
Please do not depend on FTD flower service. It is best to get a local flower shop close to or in the area where the flowers are to be delivered. THIS WAS A VERY SENSITIVE TIME FOR ME AND THEY RUIN THE RESPECT OF THE FUNERAL FOR ME. I appeared to not even acknowledged the death of a very special mom. Then to make matters worse, I had to call for my refund. Bad business. Never again will I call FTD flowers.

I am very disappointed in the size of the purchase I placed for a sympathy flower arrangement! It was the smallest flower display for the amount of money I spent on them. Never Ever again! Such a disappointment. I ordered my mother a dozen chocolate covered strawberries for her birthday, they were delivered on time but they were melted and rotten. Absolutely unacceptable. I have never had an issue with them in the past. Now this has left a sour taste in my mouth for the company.

Three stars because they resolved the issue and I am now satisfied. However, FTD charges fees, etc. and you do not know until AFTER the order is placed (assuming you get an email confirmation, as I did). Here is the fact. I placed an order (thinking I was getting a nice discount). It wasn't until the email confirmation was received that I noticed the extravagant fees. I had to fight to get money off. It wasn't until I told them I was going to go on every review site and report how they do business. After that, the issue was resolved. I am happy now, but I had to fight them on this - and I am in the right - not looking for anything. I don't like being scammed.

Well the time has come. It is time to put FTD on blast. As some of you will remember, my uncle passed a few weeks ago and as it generally done, we sent flowers. We spent quite a bit of time picking them out. We chose a specific color, a specific arrangement. What we received was neither the color or the arrangement we chose. When you feel the need to send flowers and they think you are not going to be there to see what they are providing....do not choose FTD. I attempted to contact them twice, once from my email and once from my mother's. Not only did we not receive any type of response Other than excessive sales emails, I attempted to use their chat option, but of course that wasn’t working.
I am fed up and angry for all those people beside us who spent money sending flowers and probably were credited with a cheap flower arrangement that has no resemblance of what they actually chose. Below are the pictures - white is what we chose, yellow is what we got. We were truly embarrassed and angrier than I usually get and the embarrassment of a flower company that is ineffective, fraudulent, and simply does not care about their customers.

Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience with FTD. I ordered a flower arrangement as a thank you gift for an employee. I ordered early Friday morning and paid an extra $30 for a Saturday delivery. My ordered total was nearly $100 so, even with the silly extra $30, I expected a lovely arrangement. I had signed up for email updates so I would know when it was delivered. Well, Saturday came and went even though the online update said delivery would be by noon. I assumed they didn't offer Sunday delivery, I was right. By Monday, I figured they'd be nearly dead. No delivery on Monday either. I cancelled the order even though the agent "assured" me they would be delivered by Tuesday afternoon. What would be delivered?? Dead flowers?? No thanks. Yes, they cancelled the order but guess what my employee received Tuesday afternoon? Yup - a box of dead flowers. Never again, FTD.

To say my experience with FTD flowers was disappointing would be an understatement. I ordered flowers for my sister’s graduation on 6/7/19 and they were not delivered. The following Sunday, on 6/9/19, I called the customer service line to follow-up on my order and the women at the call center rudely hung-up on me mid-call. I called a second time and FTD Flowers promised to get the flowers delivered on Monday, 6/10/19, and again they were not delivered, a real shocker. I ended up calling and canceling my order after all of this which took approximately 30 seconds unlike the days I waited for the flowers to get delivered.
If you want your flowers to be delivered on time DO NOT go with FTD Flowers. I would not trust them with important events. It was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience and I will be taking my business elsewhere, as should you. Also they’re filing for bankruptcy protection, a sign of their clear mismanagement if that tells you anything.

I ordered two orders of 18 roses each with vase for two mothers on Mother's Day. The flowers arrived on time but were brown. My mothers sent me pictures of the brown flowers. I called FTD and their phone lines do not go to a call center, they just end. I emailed them twice about the problem, included the photos, and received no response. I contacted them through PayPal's claim process and no response. Escalating it through PayPal. I paid $130 dollars for crappy flowers. Their website claims satisfaction guaranteed and they are not living up to that statement.

Worst customer service experience I’ve absolutely ever had. Will NEVER purchase here again. I’ve contacted them FIVE + TIMES WITH NO RESPONSES. (I tried calling, but I couldn’t understand the person I was speaking to so ultimately gave up after several attempts.) It’s just absolutely absurd, rude, unprofessional and I’m beyond upset. This doesn’t even BEGIN to go into why I tried contacting customer service in the first place! Basically - (what I believe now is) FTD’s incredibly shady way to scam people out of more money than what appears on the site and cart balance... After checking out using my credit card and viewing a receipt with one price, I got charged significantly more and emailed a completely DIFFERENT receipt later - so make sure to pay close attention. Do not purchase from here. It was the worst decision for me.

I’ve ordered a few times with no issues. My recent experience was atrocious and will never be bringing my business back to FTD. I ordered a Mother’s Day arrangement. Used a Groupon and that’s where it started going downhill. The site kept giving me an error on checkout. Ordered over the phone instead which took a half hour. Flowers did not arrive, spent a half hour rescheduling them. Received an email stating they were delivered, however they were not. Spent another half hour rescheduling them. They were not delivered yet again.
Spent 45 minutes on the phone to refund a membership and the flowers. The flowers were refunded and the membership was not. Spent another half hour in the phone to find out they couldn’t refund it. Then was offered a crappy coupon for appeasement. Shop local or from a company where their support is not people that barely speak English from a script. The appeasement attempt for my wasted time and terrible experience was a joke.

Ordered a same day guaranteed flower arrangement for delivery on Tuesday. Got a call and VM from FTD at about noon. They said first florist called back and advised they would not be able to do the order and did I want to see if a second one could. Had to clock out work and make a 35 minute call only to be told that delivery was impossible (was only 12:30) but they could do it the next day. I reluctantly agreed since the message was time sensitive.
The next day there was still no delivery even though my credit card had been billed the day before. I requested email online. Have not received. After work Wednesday I called customer service for explanation or update. Was on hold for a total of 40 minutes. Both times I was apologized to and told it would be researched. Both times my call was released after several minutes on hold. STILL unresolved and no explanation. There were cheaper options but I trusted the FTD brand. Never again

I received a call at 2pm on 5/25 informing me that the flower basket I ordered to be delivered to a 19 year old girl's wake on 5/24 was never delivered!! Nor was it delivered to her funeral at 10am 5/25! If I was notified in a timely manner I may have been able to make arrangements elsewhere. Instead unbeknownst to me I was embarrassed and mortified!! So I absolutely would not only never recommend this company but would go out of my way to warn others away from their company! Furthermore, there was no suitable apology or attempt to make things right!

The first thing is their website, it is confusing or hard to understand. Second was the fact that they would not deliver on the Monday that I wanted. Then I had trouble communicating with them a new date for delivery. But on a lighter side the flowers were (orchid) perfect. Received well by the recipient. An average performance at best!

I had the worst experience with these people. I paid 180$ for a bouquet for my mother’s birthday and they brought me such a CRAPPY looking one that didn’t match the one on the website AT ALL. I was so ** disappointed, good thing my mom didn’t know how the original looked like. Besides that, they took so long to deliver. I called like 5 times throughout the day because I couldn’t keep my mom home any longer because she had to go to her birthday dinner which was at 7 PM!!!! And customer service people kept giving me different times on delivery. I was so pissed and frustrated. I will never NEVER order from them again. The worst. And a cherry on top was them leaving the bouquet at the door, which they said THEY WILL NOT DO BECAUSE THE FLOWERS WOULD GO BAD. And guess what? They did. A close friend passed away and my family wanted to send flowers for the services. I chose a lovely stargazer Lilly - one with lots of Red carnations. The arrangement that was delivered had the Lillies but the rest of the flowers were substitutions that I was never even consulted about. It ended being a pink floral arrangement instead of a red one which was important to the family. I have used this company in the past and have had issues with them not being able to create what they promised. I highly recommend not trusting them for something important like a funeral EVER.

In April, I purchased a green plant from FTD. The plant was not as described online and was almost dead when it arrived. I contacted FTD and they sent a replacement plant. The second plant was a little better, but it had no moss and did not shine. Needless to say, the second plant is on the way to the garbage. I will not use this service again.

My wife was visiting a beach house in Florida over Mother's Day. I ordered flowers from FTD, 2 dozen roses, to be delivered as soon after Mother's Day as possible. They did not arrive. I did receive a delivery confirmation via UPS, but nothing was ever actually delivered. This doesn't seem like it would be FTD's fault, but as they are technically the shipper I had to go through FTD to get resolution. It took a while, but they got back to me with a solution about a week later. They just sent another 2 dozen roses to the same address.
My wife was already home following her vacation, so again the flowers just got delivered to nowhere. I tried to modify the shipment before the flowers shipped to get them sent to my home, but they got sent to the same address in Florida, anyway. She never got her Mother's Day flowers, and the customer service department with FTD didn't even check with me before sending the second order of flowers back out to the same unsuccessful destination. FTD issued a full refund. Interestingly, a lady called my wife and left a voicemail letting her know that for some reason she kept receiving my wife's flowers... She lives nowhere near the address I provided. On the plus side, she did say that the roses are beautiful... So Happy Mother's Day to her, I guess?

On February 14, 2019, FTD had one simple task and that was to deliver flowers to my address on Valentine's Day. Instead I receive a call the next day (15) asking if I loved the flowers and I responded "What Flowers"? Needless to say my brother found the big brown box lying out next to our tool shed in wet mud (it had rained), which is nowhere close to my front porch/door. Had my brother not pulled in that day the box would not have been seen. I'm aware FTD and FedEx should have been held responsible. By the way, they were not being delivered to me but to my 82 yr old mother who believe it or not needed those roses to lift her spirits because her son (a different brother) had just passed away that morning Feb.15, 2019. When I hear someone complain about flowers I'm reminded of that awful day and hella ** service (I apologize for my profanity).

Placed an order for a funeral. They confirmed delivery but failed to fulfill the order due to reasons they could not explain. They then failed 2 more times to deliver as promised to an alternate address. Spoke to a Manager after getting very upset and the manager guaranteed me immediate delivery, which did not happen. She also promised she would keep me posted of the progress and She did not. After the family called me to say the flowers had not arrived, I called again and a customer service rep, said, "Sorry we could not deliver." Again I was not given an update as promised and I had to call them to find out. This rep then wrote me a message making false statements. I asked for the name of the florist and she refused to provide it to me based on company policy which leads me to believe FTD has major internal issues. FTD is overpriced and have terrible service.

If I could give it negative stars I would. Last Wednesday I place an order for flowers to be delivered to a business for Friday, the flower didn't arrive until after 6 when the business was closed. (Their fine print says for business locations the delivery would be between 9-5. That was a lie.) The delivery guy texted me and said they would be delivered on Monday, and the flowers never came. I've tried to call the customer service rep but they don't understand what I'm saying and have to repeat myself multiple times, and line kept disconnecting. This is unacceptable and disappointing. I will not be ordering flowers from this place again, I lost about $100.

They died in four days of delivery after ordering two dozen roses. It’s not the first time. Flowers aren’t anywhere near the value they used to be and are a lot more costly. I’d rather go to the florist myself.

I ordered flowers for my wife on Mother’s Day to be delivered May 11 or May 12. I received a notice on May 11 that they were delivered. They never came. I called on May 11 and was assured they were being delivered. They weren’t. I called the next day and was assured they were being delivered on May 12. They were not. I called on May 13 and asked for a refund. The representative said I would get one. I still have not. I have sent many emails and gotten no response. I will now open up a dispute through PayPal.

I ordered flowers for my wife and mother for Mother's Day. The arrangements didn't look like the ones pictured online. I spoke to a rep on the phone and was promised a correction with a follow up email. After never receiving anything I sent an email and still no response. Then I received a customer satisfaction survey so I explained what had happened for a third time. I still haven't received a response. After spending $180.00 for the flowers and getting something I could have gotten at a grocery store for half that I'll never use FTD again.

I wish I could put a picture here to show the comparison between the beautiful plush bouquet I ordered and paid extra for and the actual bouquet of yard weeds my mother received for mother's day from FTD. Third time they have done this. Never again. Sent an email and replied to their survey, never heard back.

It has been awhile since I ordered flowers from FTD but when I did they came through. The flowers were nice and the customer service was fairly friendly. The price was reasonable. I would recommend to my friends and family.

On May 17, 2019 I ordered flowers online. I received an email later that day that they were delivered, however recipient never received said flowers. Customer service was unable to help or offer a credit.

I placed my order online for flowers to be delivered to my mom for Mother's Day. FTD emailed a confirmation of delivery. Mom's says she didn't get it. I called; FTD said they'd send again with an upgrade. That didn't arrive either. I called again; I was told I'd called too early and needed to call again. Bottom line: FTD disappointed me and my mother, and now they're not providing a refund for services/goods not delivered. I guess they think since they sent a confirmation email that I should accept the arrangement was delivered. Proves you cannot trust these guys.

Disappointed. They delivered my Mother's Day flowers on a Tuesday and the arrangement was almost dead and just overall nothing what my kids purchased. We wouldn't order from them again. My daughter called and they didn't attempt to rectify the problem.

I ordered a bouquet for Mother's Day to be delivered on Sunday. Called the recipient and she hadn't received it. Called customer service (had a hard time understanding her) and she said that a florist shop in San Diego was contacted to deliver the flowers (the recipient lives in Idaho). She asked me if I still wanted delivery and I told her yes. She was calling a florist shop in Idaho to deliver Monday. Called the recipient Monday night and she hadn't received them. I called FTD to ask for a refund. My Discover card shows a charge, a credit and another charge. I'll be waiting for the credit for the second charge to show up. Never again....

I received absolutely beautiful flowers, both times, for my 26th Wedding anniversary and Easter. They held their bloom for at least 3+ weeks! They had long stems, so they could be cut a few times if needed, the colors were absolutely amazing. :) I received beautiful Tulips for my anniversary and I received beautiful, colorful Lillies for our Easter celebration.

I ordered flowers for my partner's mother in Tucson on 10 May. We received a confirmation email and an email to say that the flowers would be delivered a day late - we were fine with this as we understand Mother’s Day is a busy time. However, five days after they were supposed to arrive I’ve received an email to say that bunch of flowers doesn’t exist and nothing has been delivered.
We live in Australia and have not been able to get back for two years and wanted to surprise his mom with some beautiful flowers - this has turned out to be an awful experience. Being overseas we are unsure how to get in contact to arrange a refund for the nonexistent $96.72 bunch of flowers we purchased. Very unlikely to recommend or use FTD again.
