I ordered flowers for my mum's birthday to be delivered yesterday (Sunday January 4th). I placed my order the Thursday before (January 1st) and wanted them delivered ON her birthday.

Yesterday morning, I get an email saying there's been a delay. I was thinking a hour or two delayed, which is completely acceptable. When I called them to see what was going on, they said they would be delivering the flowers Thursday January 8th! FOUR DAYS AFTER her birthday! When asked why, or for some explanation, I received none. They asked if I'd like to cancel my order, but since my mum lives 6 hours away, and I can't just drop by whenever I want, I stuck with the delivery date. We'll see if they actually get there.

It's a good thing I didn't order these flowers for a funeral, because the person would've been under six feet of dirt before they actually arrived. I'm extremely disappointed and I hope groupon drops them from their offerings. DO NOT buy the groupon for ftd.ca and DO NOT use this service. Not good.

Ordered flowers 12/22 for same day delivery. No flowers received. Called morning of 12/23 to find out that the store didn't have flowers. My order was given to another store. I ask the rep to call to ensure arrangement is available. Rep confirms that flowers will be delivered same day. I ask for delivery charge to be waived and agreed. I receive an email charging me for *full amount* on 12/24. I return from vacation on 01/02 only to find arrangement not received. I call and rep informs me that they didn't have flowers, therefore refunded total amount. No notification of cancellation - appalling. I spoke to supervisor, Lester, who asked if i wanted to place another order.

When asked why their "substitution policy" was not employed, and how could they cancel an order without advising the customer, Sr. Advisor, **, had no explanation. She too suggested I place another order. I asked if there was any compensation and after my prompting several times, she offered 40% off flowers only...a savings of a mere $20. There are similar offers currently online from FTD. Obviously, customer service is not a priority in a company that should pride itself on customer satisfaction. You are better off ordering from a local company and speaking to them directly. Stay clear of FTD... You will save yourself time, frustration and money!! Very disappointing to experience over the holidays.

Today was my mother-in-law's 90th birthday. I decided to use their service as they indicated that they can deliver flowers today, 31st of december. I placed an order at around 11 a.m. and received a call from them at around 6 p.m., letting me know that they can only deliver flowers in 2 days!!!! Because they don't have anyone to do it today!!! I was extremely disappointed with their service because it was already too late to go to a flower shop to buy flowers. I will never ever use their service again. Don't promise what you cannot do!! Don't lie to your customers!

I ordered a bouquet. A gesture in sympathy. Bouquet I chose could range from 39.99 to 69.99. I chose the 59.99 bouquet option for a fuller arrangement. After taxes and delivery cost was 86.99. The bouquet that was delivered matched the arrangement in terms of flowers but had so few blooms that it looked like the 39.99 version-- not the 59.99 version. What is the point of them having images if you can't rely on the images to manage customer expectations. My mom was the recipient. Her words were "thanks, but you got ripped off". I'm sure I could have went to a grocery store with 25.00 and got a comparable bouquet.

I ordered a Christmas arrangement. What was received was nothing described in the website! Not worth the amount paid! When I called FTD they stated they would send another arrangement which looks like the picture on the website. The customer service rep stated she will call the florist personally with instructions to send what was pictured on the website and that my account will be credited 20 %. The account was credited 13 dollars, however no arrangement was delivered. They also didn't care to see the actual picture of what was delivered.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to a laboratory scientist who was working on Christmas Eve. They never arrived. FTD did not contact me. I contacted them. They only apologized--no compensation. They said the delivery was out of range. The delivery was to a centrally-located hospital. They said they would be delivered on Christmas, instead-- still no flowers delivered--worst service I have ever experienced from a florist. FTD is expensive--no excuse for such shoddy non-service.

On Dec. 15, 2015, I went online to FTD.com to order the FTD Glowing Elegance Centerpiece. It had 4 levels of flowers: good for $54.99, better for $64.99, best for $79.99, exquisite for $89.99. Since this arrangement was for my family's annual Christmas party, a very special event for all of us, I ordered the Exquisite arrangement. When I clicked on my shopping basket, however, it showed: "Good $89.99." Concerned that there might be some confusion as to which arrangement I had chosen and was paying for, I canceled my online order and called FTD at 1-800-736-3383, the number listed at the bottom on the webpage for this arrangement.

I shared my concern with the representative over the phone, and she said that there would be no problem with that, that she would take care of that. I then put in a phone order for the above exquisite-level arrangement. The centerpiece was delivered, as promised, on Dec. 19, 2015. My brother texted me a picture, and I thought it looked very skimpy. I was traveling and unable to contact FTD that day. The next day, my niece emailed me another picture of the arrangement from the party. It was definitely skimpy. It appeared that FTD had delivered the good arrangement, not the exquisite arrangement.

I called FTD on Saturday night, Dec. 20, 2015, and they offered to pick up the good arrangement and deliver the exquisite arrangement on Monday, Dec. 22, 2015. On Monday, when I had heard nothing from FTD, I called them again at 4:00 p.m. They had no record of my previous conversation or their offer to resolve the problem. They said they would deliver the correct arrangement on Tuesday, Dec. 23, and give me a free upgrade. When they said "free upgrade," I became very concerned because I had ordered the highest level offered. I asked them how they could give me a free upgrade, what they were upgrading to, and they said "Don't worry about it. This will be a very nice arrangement."

Well, by Tuesday evening at 4:00 p.m., FTD still had not delivered the "upgraded" arrangement. I called them again and said I just wanted a refund. On Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 23, 2015, I called my brother again, telling him that I had given up and just asked for a refund. He told me that at 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 22, 2015, a florist had come by and delivered another arrangement that looked just like the first arrangement. I was furious. I called FTD. They have told me that they have submitted a refund. It has not appeared on my credit card yet as of today, Dec. 24, 2015.

Since I live 2000 miles away from my family, it means a lot to me to share this occasion with them by contributing a centerpiece to the dining room table, which is served as a buffet. I miss my family so much at Christmas, and I love them so much. Sending a nice bouquet is a way for me to express this love. Sending a skimpy bouquet sends another message entirely, especially since they know I can afford a nice bouquet. I was so crestfallen and sad, I cried most of the night. My brother has helped me with this, suggesting a florist they use in town. I will use this florist next year. I would like someone to look into what FTD is doing with the different levels of arrangements. This may be a huge rip off.

To my surprise, I received an email showing a different amount for the bouquet- $39.99. I wish I had did some research before ordering from FTD. I see I am not the only that got ripped off by them. I received a coupon for 25% and decided to send my special aunt, who is in home hospice, something to brighten her day. I ordered the full and lush bouquet. It was supposed to be an upgrade to the picture shown. They sent me an email stating they were unable to locate a local florist and were upgrading it again. With that, I assumed an amazing arrangement would be delivered. That was so not the case.

I could have purchased a better arrangement at a gas station for $7.99. I spent $49.99 with FTD and that doesn't include shipping. To make it worse, they send a brochure, with the bouquet, which clearly lets the recipient know what is was supposed to look like as well as how much it cost. I did email a complaint. They did send another bouquet but when I called to see if it was any better, I had to threaten my uncle not lie because I would see it in a few days. He said it looked the same but had a few more roses. He joked and said they sent the $20 one the first time, and this is another $20, I almost got my money's worth and the vases will make nice bookends. In the end, I paid more then $50 for bookends instead of flowers.

This company should be shut down. They are complete rip-offs! I feel totally scammed.

Instead of ranting and raving for 10 pages, I'll just give the facts: Easy purchase (required purchase before any other options were available to see). Liars (spoke to 6 different south-Asian reps & managers who didn't know English, but promised the "de flowaz is on de wai nouw". Waited all day, no flowers, called several times. Called next day. Their story changed from "wrong address provided", to "nobody was home" to "florist couldn't make the arrangement in time." They lied hoping I wouldn't know the better. Took over an hour to get someone to give me a refund (they kept offering 5% discounts and next-day delivery). Finally looked at other reviews, VERY glad the flowers weren't delivered because their pictures lie, the flowers aren't REMOTELY close to what is promised. Was very glad this was a simple love gesture to my wife, and not a critical event. Went with a nice local florist. Was very happy. Will try my hardest to let everyone else know that FTD is a scam from Asia.

Note: When I asked which local florist they used for the delivery, the rep, manager, then supervisor all refused to tell me who it was. They also refused to tell me where they were located & just said "off-shore". So apparently they're operating somewhere in the ocean. Haha, joke. Seriously though. I really hate them with passion. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not use them. I would like nothing more than seeing their scheming scamming butts go right out of business.

Refused to refund any service charges applied, or offer an alternative bouquet to mix into the order, so the order got cancelled. I ended up purchasing 24 roses of the same kind, which was already being worked on to make the process easier. They keep me in the phone for 45 minutes, and did not want to process my refund since they had to check with the local florist, which never delivered the flowers. The whole point is, I didn't buy flowers to the local florist. I've purchased online and paid to FTD. It is not my concern their relationship with the florist. AWFUL, embarrassing floral arrangement. The worst. See photos attached, 1st is what was received, second was what was ordered. Not in any way near what was represented in their online advertisement. That ordered was in a cut glass vase, with rust colored roses, lilies, bi-colored mums and my favorite - hypericum berries - they never made it into the vase. I ordered the next to the largest arrangement (was to be 18 inches across - don't think it made 12). Was a thank you gift for being hosted to Thanksgiving dinner - so embarrassing. Delivered by someone in an unmarked car, no florist name on the arrangement, cheap piece of cheap, tacky, twisted ribbon tied around the neck of the vase, crumpled message card... FTD not marked on the delivery. I was mortified. Paid $95.21 for a $15 - $20 bunch of old flowers in a cheap vase. Supposedly I am getting a $25 gift card - to what I do not know. TOTALLY unsatisfied with FTD. While happy with products & services in the past, my order was unacceptable in three ways: Item was a centerpiece with candle anonymously left on front porch with candle tipped over. No greeting, no personal hand-off to recipient. Item was delivered without sender card attached; recipient did not know who it was from further delaying gratitude to sender and delaying opportunity for sender to complain within seven day guarantee window. Freshness did not last seven days. Called on seventh day and was told my call was past seventh day as first day counts toward the seven total. The ‘At least seven days’ clock should not start until time of delivery, not with one day deducted at time of delivery. Customer service rep initially offered 30% refund, escalated to manager who offered 40% but would not honor seven day guarantee. I will be considering other flower companies on my next order.

The arrangement sent was 8" high X 9" wide. The arrangement they sent was nice but not worth the price I paid. I called customer service and thought 50% should be sent back as the bouquet and vase were 50% less than stated and they would only do 20%. After being on hold for 20 minutes waiting for a supervisor and reading all these terrible reviews, I gave up. BOTTOM LINE, DO NOT USE THEM! From now on I will only go right to my local florists.....

I placed an order with FTD.com for flowers to be sent to my grandmother for her birthday. The scheduled delivery date was for Friday, October 31, 2014. Called my grandmother today to wish her a Happy Birthday, November 3, 2014 and asked her how she liked her flowers. To my dismay, she notified us that she never received her flowers. Called FTD to inquire why the flowers had not been delivered and they said they could not find a driver to deliver them. We asked why it took 3 days for them to contact us and let us know they weren't able to deliver the flowers. No response. I will not be buying from FTD.com ever again. I am disappointed with their customer service to handle the order and am not pleased with the responses they gave as to why the flowers weren't delivered. The saddest part about this whole thing is we ordered the EXACT flowers my grandmother received last birthday, that she loved so much, but now will need to find a new flower company to work with that actually lives up to their promises.

Flowers came one day late even though were paid for the same day delivery. They were wilted. One head of a flower just fell out while unwrapping it. The delivery guy kept calling and postponing his arrival, so was stuck all day at home waiting for him. The thing that did it for me was the envelope with personalized note. See the pic. I mean what happened to it? I want the florist or the delivery guy to spend over 100$ to say "I love you" with a note that looks like a piece of it was simply beaten off. I did not open it. It looks exactly as it came.

They agreed to refund but only if they come and pick up the flowers. So I'm going to spend another day waiting for the delivery guy to pick them up. Awful experience. I actually insisted on calling the company and asking for refund, because I felt like the person who ordered them was duped out of money. I didn't expect that receiving flowers could be so frustrating.

Although 2 were delivered, I was in a jam because I didn't expect to pay for 2. My sister said after 30 days both plants died even after following instructions. I called customer service 3 times. Was on hold for a long time. Asked for a supervisor and then was disconnected. The best they could offer me was a $10 credit. Then the 3rd person I spoke to offered me a $20 credit. I told them I would like a refund check. I told them why would I ever order from them. The credit would not help me. Let's see what happens. Will I get a $200 refund check or not. I will also call my credit card company and complain. I am upset that they kept my credit card information in their records. I did not agree to that. Never never order from this company. They have horrible plants that die shortly and they really don't try to make things right. They are also overpriced. I would give them a zero.

They offered a 30% discount and I asked for them to be delivered to the family since the funeral was in the morning. FDT called back at 4 p.m. and said the local flower shop could not deliver them until tomorrow as the flower shop has "already delivered to the zip code". I cancelled the order. Buyer Beware: False advertising, poor quality, AND horrific customer service.

Recently, I ordered the "Orange Escape" arrangement as a surprise bouquet gift for my mother. In the ordering process, I was given the option to get a small, medium, or large bouquet size. Each option was accompanied by a photo and sizing dimension so the buyer knows what to expect. I opted for the medium-sized bouquet, which, with the vase and shipping, came out to around $70. Unfortunately, upon delivery, the bouquet was less than satisfactory. It was full of greenery and cheap filler flowers, versus the roses and sunflowers pictured on the website. Plus after one day of my mother having the bouquet, some of the flowers began to wilt and die. Which is in direct dispute with their claimed "7 day guarantee"; spoiler alert: no one acknowledged this claimed guarantee when I approached them with my dissatisfaction.

Feeling cheated, I politely called FTD to offer them a chance of rectifying this situation. After three days of back and forth phone calls, AND after sending them a photo of the arrangement my mother received, I still was given no concrete solution. Now, it became not only a quality issue, but a customer service issue as well.

    The most shocking part:

Today I was on the phone with their customer service for more than hour trying to reach an agreeable solution. First, they offered me a mere 30 percent refund, which they claimed would be about $6 back (do the math - that is not correct anyways). I told them that offer, in addition to the poor quality product I received, is extremely insulting and I wanted a full refund. An FTD customer service supervisor said that the ONLY way for me to receive a full refund is for the company to take back the arrangement, again, a gift to my mother. He not only mocked me by sarcastically saying "why does it matter if we take the arrangement back anyways since you claim the flowers are so HORRIBLE to look at in the first place..." he was also extremely argumentative and irrational. He spent the majority of the phone call trying to disprove my opinion and requests, even making a comparison to how Wal-Mart does their returns. He also asked me "if you say the flowers are so horrible, why doesn't your mother think so too? Why would she want to keep them?" I was flabbergasted at his approach towards me. I am still in disbelief that this person was a customer service SUPERVISOR.

Since this page does not allow access to posting photos, I will be posting my photo evidence on Yelp. DO NOT spend your money here. This company falsely advertises quality bouquet arrangements, then will not cooperate with customers who are not satisfied with their half-hearted efforts. My biggest mistake: not doing business with a local, qualified florists, not looking to make big business profits off low quality products.

I ordered flowers for my mom (from dad) for their 40th Wedding Anniversary, which was Sunday 9/7, to be delivered to her work on Thursday 9/4 since I knew she would not be there Friday. Bit of background... I've been ordering from FTD.com for many years, multiple times per year, to be sent to her work. I received a phone call on 9/4, the date of delivery, at 5:45 pm stating the flowers were not delivered because the address could not be located. The option given was to re-send the order the next day.

I informed she wouldn't be there and asked if they can redeliver them on 9/4 as requested, only for her to say it's past their cutoff time for same day re-delivery. I asked what time they were notified by the florist of the address issue and was told 2:09 pm....4 HOURS BEFORE THEY CONTACTED ME!!! When asked why neither the florist or FTD called me at the time of delivery when they couldn't find the location I was only told that FTD just started working on my order and they don't know why the florist didn't call me. They offered nothing but next day delivery or cancellation of order.

I asked for a supervisor and after at least an hour of talk trying to figure out some solution, I was promised a refund of the shipping cost but only because I asked for the shipping to be refunded. He did however state he would request a bigger arrangement to be sent, even though I had already ordered the BEST size. I told him to send the new order to my house on 9/8 and I would personally deliver them to my mom's work. I'm still waiting for the refund. I was told that if there was an issue Monday with the order to call and ask for the supervisor that I spoke with.

I received the flowers today...... and the roses were practically dead, not to mention the arrangement sent was smaller than the original order, not bigger as promised. So I called. When I asked to talk to the guy I talked with Thursday I was told he's in another call center and doesn't have a direct extension...... This supervisor basically said she had no notes of my hour long discussion held Thursday. She said option would be they come get the flowers and refund the full price or do a swap with a new arrangement. Neither would work due to the flowers not being at my address any longer. I took it upon myself to get it taken care of outside of FTD for a replacement. I will not be doing business with them again..... and they only got one star because I was required to give a rating.

To start with, the bouquet was absolutely pitiful and half the flowers weren't even open. For a cost of $62, my wife received something that I could have picked up at the local grocery store for less than $15. FTD should be ashamed of themselves for describing bouquets with all flowers showing perfectly and not reflecting the actuality of what ends up being delivered to the recipient, which in my wife's case was the complete opposite of a happy birthday flower basket.. It looked more like something you'd see in the hospital room of a coma patient!

And the story on the phone of "we're experiencing a high volume of calls so please wait on the line or we encourage you to go to our website and click on the customer service link to send us your comments", I actually believe that you purposely make people that want to complain via telephone, get additionally frustrated waiting to speak with one of your representatives. So, the bottom line is that you describe a product that doesn't actually get delivered "as described" and you overcharge both the florist and customer with your extra "service" fees.

I now fully understand why FTD has a one star review from the Consumer Affairs website. I will now add my negative review to as many locations on the web that I can, as I feel sorry for anyone attempting to express any emotion via using FTD for a loved one, and creating disappointment as opposed to excitement and happiness is something for your organization to consider moving forward. I would suggest that flower shops that are NOT FANS of FTD, and are located inside of a particular city to form their own local flower delivery service to bypass using FTD, as I've never been this embarrassed by something that I gave my wife for her birthday. I just finally got to speak with a very nice FTD customer service representative and will be utilizing the 7-day money back satisfaction guarantee once I discuss this with my darling wife.

When the order arrived, I noticed the hang tag was missing. I also noticed that although I ordered and paid for the premium arrangement, it looked as though we were sent the lowest arrangement. While the picture on their website clearly showed at least 6 roses as part of the arrangement (mind you it was a side view, so there probably are supposed to be more on the other side) the arrangement we were sent only had a total of 4 roses!!

I called to complain and was told to send pictures and that the hang tag would be sent to me in the mail. I sent them pictures and made a complaint, and all they offered me was a measly $20 refund and $20 coupon for future order (as if I would ever re-order from them). The hang tag was never mailed to me, so they straight up lied to me. When I called back irate with all these issues, the supervisor bumped my refund by a whopping $8!!! Woopdie-freakin-do!

It is terrible when you try to do something special on a special occasion, and people like this mess it up completely. What angers me the most is that had it not been for the fact that my wife decided to work from home that day, I never would have known what had happened. If she had stayed in the office and never brought the flowers home, I would be completely in the dark about the size of the arrangement and the missing hang tag. As you can see on the invoice, I spent about $400 for unsatisfactory service.

I have always ordered my flowers through this company (I can't even mumble their name because I am so Pi$$ed). As other customers' reviews, I will take my business elsewhere and forget that this company even exists. I have informed my family members not to use this company, I have informed my co-workers and even established a military blog for the military members and military employees not to use this company. I will do everything in my power to spread the word that this company will take your money and deliver the next day after the scheduled delivery date and will not offer you one red cent for the delayed delivery, even when it is their screw-up.

Don't ever do business with FTD.com. I order online all the time, and I'm the first to admit that mistakes happen. It's not about not making mistakes. It's about admitting you made one and making it right for your customer. That's a simple courtesy that this company has forgotten a long time ago. So, I ordered flowers on Wed before Mother's Day for my wife's mother for delivery the next day. No delivery Thursday... or Friday... or Saturday. Then Sunday morning (Mother's Day), I receive an email with the subject "FTD.COM order refunded - no florist available (Order Number:...)". Telling me 4 days after the delivery day left me with no options to get her mother a gift.

When I called customer service they were unsympathetic, callous, indifferent and rude. Don't ever try to save a buck by ordering with them. EVER. They had the audacity offered me a coupon on my next order... which by the way was the same coupon that's on their website. The worst part is that it's now been 7 business days and I still don't have my money back. I've called 3 times and no one cares enough to even try to investigate why the order was not delivered or why I don't have my money back. They just tell me it's my bank's problem. Want to feel like you don't mean anything to a company you paid your hard earned money to? Need a reason to raise your blood pressure on a Friday afternoon? Then go ahead and order from FTD.com.

I ordered flowers on 5/9/14 to be delivered to my mother on Mother's Day. I ordered the FTD Sweet Devotion Bouquet and ordered the "Best-Bountiful Blossoms". On their website it stated this was a "same day" order and would be delivered on either Saturday 5/10 or Sunday 5/11, which both were fine with me. I found out on Mother's Day that they could not deliver and would deliver on Monday. I thought "ugh" okay, I contacted my Mother and said my "gift" would be late. It didn't arrive until Tuesday. Instead of this beautiful lavender & pink bouquet of Roses and Lavender, (which I understand there could be substitutions), she received what looked to be an arrangement put together by a child. The only roses in the bouquet were brown on the edges and the flowers in bud were Lilies! I contacted FTD regarding my disappointment and their resolution was to either deliver another bouquet (a week after Mother's day?!) or I can receive 20% off. I hung up the phone. I will never order from them again! I have added pictures of what was ordered and what was received.

When I received the email sent to confirm my order, I immediately sent them an email, advising that I was a bit concerned. The confirmation shows the shipping address as a residence, when I clearly indicated that it was a business address. Also, it appears that portions of the shipping address are missing - which could cause the shipment NOT to be delivered to my recipient! Also, from the way the personalization is shown - I'm uncertain that the names are going to be in the right place, and that it going to look really strange if it appears that my recipient sent the item, rather than it being from us!

I have sent emails to this effect on both 5/7/14, and 5/12/14 - and despite the fact that their auto-responder has indicated the receipt of my emails - and promises that someone will contact me within 24 hours - I have had NO RESPONSES to date!! Do they ever check their emails? I cannot sit on hold on my cell phone, so email is the preferred contact method, rather than calling a call center!

Ordered lavender box of flowers for my mother and mother-in-law. They did arrive on time but both orders contained half dead plants. The order was suppose to be 3 plants in bloom. One plant was alive, but was so tiny that they couldn't even tell what it was suppose to be; it had no blooms on it. The other plants were 1/2 dead plants, had a few dried up bloom sand. Were also very small. Called, and 30 mins. later, they agreed to send a replacement order that was similar to what had originally ordered. 2nd plants were much better. Why didn't they just send that to begin with. Will not use again.

I placed an order late Friday afternoon for Mother's Day flowers. The earliest they were available for delivery was Tuesday so, admittedly, I am already not happy but I recognize I should have ordered sooner and it is a very busy time for florists in the US. I placed the order for Tuesday delivery. Mid-morning Tuesday, I receive a call that the local florist "rejected" my order. To me, when I expect a Tuesday delivery, a call on Tuesday is TOO LATE. I'd understand if it was a Monday delivery because a lot of florists aren't open on Sunday but Tuesday? Unacceptable. Best they could do was change it to what they call a "vendor delivery" which apparently means via UPS on Thursday. I cancelled entirely.

I also asked to speak to a supervisor. After being on hold for close to 10 minutes, I believe I did speak to a supervisor. All he could say was "sorry". Would be nice if customer service people were trained to at least make it seem as if they are taking your complaint seriously, taking down information about it, and sending it to management. Simply saying sorry to me means the same as "oh well, am I supposed to care that one of the main service processes at the back-bone of our company is broken?"

I placed an order for flowers for my Mom for Mother's Day. The order was placed on Thursday, May 8th. I received 2 emails letting me know that deliver would be delayed, as well as a voice mail from FTD, on Friday, May 9th. When I called and spoke with a customer service representative on May 9th, I was told that the delivery was delayed and that the flowers would not be delivered until Saturday, May 10th. I discovered they still had not been delivered as of the afternoon of Mother's Day, May 11th, so I called and spoke with someone who sarcastically told me that I chose May 11th as the delivery date and that they would be delivered sometime that day.

Today, May 12th, I learned the flowers still had not been delivered. When I called and spoke with yet another customer service representative, she repeatedly told me they had sent emails informing me that no florist could fulfill the order. After I had to tell her several times that I received no such emails and that I had spoken with two other customer service representatives in as many days, she looked into my order further and realized the only email sent to me was notice of delivery delay. The best compensation offered me was a refund of $22 with a delivery date of the following day, which was totally unacceptable.

I understand that Mother's Day is probably the busiest day for florists, but FTD's handling of my order was reprehensible. I spoke with two different customer service representatives who could have and should have provided me with accurate information at the time I spoke with them. Instead, they gave me completely inaccurate information and wasted my precious time. The fact that they were willing to essentially refund my delivery fee (only after I made it clear that I was very angry with their poor customer service and rejected their initial offer) did nothing to compensate me for the time I wasted dealing with them. I will never use them again.

The second problem was that the flowers I ordered got stuck in Ontario, and were suppose to go to San Juan Capistrano on Mother's day on Saturday. It got to Ontario on Friday but never got to my mom's. I called and they first said they couldn't fill the order until I pointed out that it was in Ontario. Then she told me it just can't be delivered until the following Tuesday. 5 days later! What condition were those flowers going to be in? School was closed that Monday for President's Day, so when I arrived Tuesday, the flowers were in a box, and the delivery had been made by UPS. Obviously, the flowers were now wilted, since they had been without water for 5 days.

Thinking it was only a fluke, my fiance used them again to order Mother's Day flowers. Again, the flowers were shipped UPS, but this time the flowers were delivered in a vase that had not been padded with any type of protection, so the vase arrived shattered, and again, since the delivery was made in the evening, the box was in my room on Monday morning. This time it was roses and white tiger lilies. The tiger lilies were completely wilted. Needless to say, that's the last time he'll ever use FTD!

I arrived at my Mother's house hoping that she was pleased with the arrangement as I had been pleased with the online picture. Unfortunately, the two arrangements were hardly similar. It should be incumbent on a florist to at the very least advise if they could not match the flowers in the arrangement. I ordered this over three weeks ahead so there is really no excuse for not being able to procure the right flowers... A picture speaks a thousand words and below are the online version and the actual version.

The actual version had no roses, no white lilies and what appeared to be flowers picked out of someones side yard as filler. There was only two small blooms from what was supposed to be in the arrangement and they appeared wilted. FTD in Bombay on the customer service line advises they will redeliver another on the next working day... My confidence that it will be accurate is pretty slim. I would highly recommend avoiding FTD. This appears to be a scam and unless I was not physically there to see it, I would never have known that they ripped me off. The charge was $126 for what you see... I think I deserve a refund.

When I called my mother on 5/11, I discovered that the sympathy arrangement was delivered on Friday but the flowers were not. I called customer service and spoke with a rep who got my first and last names mixed up and could only read from a script. She only promised that the flowers could maybe be delivered by Monday and offered no discounts on the botched part of the order, only apologies.

I voiced my displeasure on Facebook, Twitter and via the FTD website. I then was called by FTD, where they offered a 10% discount on the flowers and guaranteed a Monday delivery. Again, my questions to the rep were met by recitation from her script. I have again voiced by dissatisfaction via social media and the FTD website and have received a response on Facebook to e-mail their community manager account. My expectation is that FTD would waive the delivery fee since I did not receive what I paid for in that regard. I don't expect a discount on the flowers themselves since I have requested that they still be delivered. I would also recommend that FTD's call center employs people who are better communicators and are more empowered to satisfy customers when an order is mishandled.

FTD and the florist had my cell phone number and they made no effort to contact me to let me know they would not be able to deliver.

When I contacted customer service following the funeral, they were not apologetic. I had to ask for a refund several times in order to get it. Judging by the other complaints here, I would suspect that FTD won't be in business too much longer (hopefully not anyways - save everyone the headaches). I ordered flowers with a bear around the base in honor of a friend's new baby. I put the order in on the 7th of February to be delivered on the 9th (I think that I maybe even paid extra for it to be delivered on Sunday). I went along with my life thinking that it had been delivered and everything was fine. I talked to the friend on the 20th who said that he didn't receive any flowers.

I called the customer service line, and after having to repeat things like my phone number and other information several times, being placed on hold several times (because apparently it's so difficult for FTD's customer service to understand and type phone numbers and such in their systems), they told me that they would call the florist. They then told me that the florist was already closed at 4pm! Seriously? Of course I was not happy about any of this, began talking to a manager who seemed equally incompetent, who told me that her records show that flowers were delivered on the 10th (when they should have been delivered the 9th). The manager told me that if the florist says that someone signed for the flowers at the address, my money will be refunded, if the florist didn't deliver, then the flowers will be delivered with an upgrade. Even with the most optimal outcome in this case of getting the flowers delivered with the upgrade, I still don't feel very happy with this. The whole point was to have the flowers delivered right after my friend had the baby, not almost two weeks later.

The manager told me that she would call the next day to let me know what the florist said, but I didn't receive a call. I called later that evening and talked to customer service - took them forever again to look up my info. Customer service is finally able to get a hold of the florist, florist claims that they tried to deliver two times. The first time it was too cold out, second time no one was home. WHY DIDN'T ANYONE FROM FTD TELL ME THIS! So I guess that the florist just decided to give up on trying to deliver and hoped that I wouldn't find out? So the customer service rep told me that she will now have the flowers delivered. I'm not getting my hopes up about that, and after reading the reviews here, the flowers will probably either be the wrong kind or half dead if they are actually delivered. I will never, ever order from FTD again!!!!!!!

Am I crazy or do I remember a time when FTD used to be a reputable company? If I could give them zero stars I would. What a complete rip off this service is! I was going to go directly through a local florist but ended up going through FTD after finding a Groupon. What a mistake! I ordered the arrangement to be delivered on Feb 15th, hoping to surprise that special someone. I received an email from FTD that afternoon confirming delivery, and looked forward to her getting home and discovering the flowers. But there were no flowers.

I called the customer service number to of course discover I was talking to someone at a call center probably in India who didn't really understand me very well and was very hard to understand herself. She said she tried to call the florist, but they were closed and told me to check back the next day. Next day, I call again, and again am told the florist was closed. The next two days in a row I was told that the local florist claimed they had attempted delivery Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday and found no one home. I told the FTD operator that that was crap because I knew for a fact that there had been someone home all day Mon. and Tues. They claimed the local florist left a note on the recipient's door and not received a call, which again was untrue because there was no note.

I repeatedly asked the various customer service representatives (all equally inept and unhelpful) if I could contact the local florist directly since not only would we be eliminating a language barrier, but I'm also from the area and would be able to make sure they're going to the right place. I was of course told that FTD cannot release that information to protect the local businesses. What a pile of BS. What they're protecting is their own business because they know that if I can contact the local florist directly I won't need them at all. 7 calls to customer service already, and still no flowers.

I finally asked FTD to give the local florist a different contact number for the recipient and gave them my own cell number. Finally, I got to speak directly with the florist, but she was extremely rude. It seems like she was as frustrated with FTD as I am, but she chose to take it out on both me and my recipient, which is pretty messed up. Still no flowers, but she says they'll be delivered tomorrow and FTD claims I'm getting a free upgrade. It will be interesting to see if they actually make it there tomorrow and how they look.

I was able to get refund but they said I had to call FedEx for refund which of course was wrong. Ftd is to refund whole purchase and then they can fight w/ FedEx to get their money!!! I will be telling my BF to call Visa and fight charge in hopes of resolution this way. Will never ever use this company again, first and last time!!!!

On 02/3/14 I order from FTD.com 18 long stem red roses, a plush bear and a greeting card to be delivered on Friday 02/14/14 Valentine's Day to my wife at her workplace. The total cost for all and taxes and delivery charges were $125.96 which were instantly billed to my debit card. I was so excited as this was our first Valentine's day as husband and wife. I got a text message from her thanking me on 02/13/14 at 2:30pm from my wife and later that day from FTD confirming delivery on 02/13/14. Well strike one a day early. When she got home I saw the flowers and was asked by her how come all the different colors? I told her I ordered 18 long stem red roses and a plush bear and a greeting card. There was no card but was billed for it. More importantly the roses were 5 white, 5 yellow, 8 pink ones. 5 of the eight pink were brown on the edges and not opened and wilting. The baby's breath was white and yellowing.

I sent an email to FTD on 02/13/14 stating the problem. Tried to call the next day but was on hold for an hour. On 02/16/14 I got a reply: "Please accept our sincere apologies with regard to your recent FTD.COM purchase. We understand how important this gift is to both you and your recipient, and we are truly sorry it did not meet your expectations. We always strive to provide the very finest quality and service, so please let us assure you that all your future orders will be filled with the special attention and care that they deserve. Due to the bad weather surrounding the Valentine's Day holiday, and the large volume of business, some orders were delivered ahead of schedule so as not to arrive late. Please contact our customer service line for replacement or refund of your order. If you have any questions about your order, please call 1-800-SEND-FTD (1-800-736-3383)."

Today 02/17/14 at about 3:00pm I called customer service and told my story. When I asked for a full refund I was told to hold and then after 10 minutes was told I would get a 10% discount off my next order. I asked for the name of the florist but she would not give it to me. I then said not to pay the florist. She said nothing. I again asked for a refund. She then said after a lot of complaining and told her how upset I was she said she would sent the florist a note. So this tells me FTD doesn't stand behind its customers or cares about them.

So my complaint is 1) delivery 1 day early 2) no greeting card 3) wrong color roses and wilting brown ones at that. I am hopeful the BBB can help me get my refund of 125.96 back to my debit card. I have a copy of my bill on my computer and I also took pictures on 02/13/2014 as proof and the emails to FTD. And of course all the witnesses at her office maybe wondering why someone would send their sweetheart different colored roses other than red on V-Day. Thank you.

I placed 4 orders for Valentine's Day for delivery and spent over $1,000 in flowers and not even 1 order was done correctly. Valentine's this year was this past Friday and they didn't deliver 2 of my orders at all where I ordered additionally to the flowers chocolates, balloons and teddy bears even after being charged additionally for delivery. The other order was delivered but the extras which I also was charged for were not delivered like the balloons, teddy bears and chocolates. FTD didn't call me to advise that they ran out of the products nor let me know that the orders were not being delivered AT ALL.

I called and was placed on hold two different occasion once for over 2hrs and 1:43 hrs. When I was able to get a hold of someone they state I needed to wait and call the following day as they couldn't get a hold of the any of the florist. To make matters worse the one arrangement they were able to deliver was for 48 roses and they have a seven-day guarantee and I am now waiting to see what's going to happen as I called and complained as today is Monday and half the roses are dead!!!!! I have spent plenty of money over three days and still waiting on solutions as I am tired of promises and the latest insult is getting a email stating they will give me a $24 credit!!! REALLY. This is one of the worst service, customer support and quality of service I have EVER encounter. Buyers beware. Does not matter what you order you will not get it.

I gave them a second chance for Valentine's day. First I was supposed to receive a $10 off coupon from the B-day flowers but did not until after I ordered the V-day flowers. I asked them to apply it and they did not. I requested she get the V-day flowers by 2:30pm and they didn't come till after 6pm!! I tried called and they were not accepting phone calls. I tried e-mails and they repeatedly sent me automated responses back. Finally, "Nora" responded saying they will handle my future orders better (ya right get real) and that there were no specifications on the order and the flowers were delivered. That's funny because we don't have them, and there were specifications on the order. I think this is a terrible company. I spent a lot of money on flowers and received poor service and 0% customer support. I would not recommend them to anyone, period. My gf sent me flowers from Proflowers and I received before 9am!!

Placed an order through this site to be delivered on Valentine's Day more than a week in advance. A week prior to the date I even spoke to a customer service rep who confirmed the order and the delivery address. On the date of delivery nothing ever showed up. I called the listed customer service number and was first told that they would call the florist to get an update at which point the call was disconnected. I called back immediately and explained what occurred and they checked on my order and explained that there was no way to contact the florist due to the hour....

So now they are lying to paying customers! They rep then said that I would have to wait until the next day (today) and they would contact the florist and update me. So here I sit, no flowers that were paid for in advance with no phone call from anyone. I did speak to a nice lady at my bank to file a dispute on the charge on my card. So this site is a complete rip off and I'll be making sure that everyone I know hears about this. Beware these frauds!

I am very UNHAPPY!! Your business is a JOKE! First off, Last year I ordered (online) a big gift basket w/ personalized card for Mother's Day to be delivered the Monday after Mother's Day in May... Then I had to call 2 weeks later to complain why my mother got her gift w/ NO personalized card already in the month of February when it CLEARLY stated on my order/confirmation email May 12th? So instead of giving me at least half of what I paid for back on my card or full price that I think I deserved because that's a 3-month advance gift y'all sent out & having to deal with India; all I got in the mail was a lousy 25% off card (really... that's the best you can do & send out another basket on the original date for free?) Grrrrrr, lol you guys already ruined that moment for Mother's Day! Plus she didn't get the card again & it was delivered like you didn't care about it!

I went to go use your lousy 25% card for my bf Vday gift this year & (thought maybe I should call it in this time)... I gave India the information via phone & do a personalized card again in hopes it'll be better this time, NOPE! Wrong again, lol, first I cannot use the 25% card b/c the gift price was reduced (oh reduced by 9 dollars & your point?). I complained about my last order till they were able to take 25% off. Great, I'm happier now... Ummm my confirmation email had my personalized card make me look like I do not know how to spell Happy Valentine's Day (lol instead it's "appy Valenyine's Day") that's the first thing he's gonna read before reading the rest of my message (which that person didn't put in all that I said) which now it said "Click here if you have an issue".

Damn straight I do....so I emailed the dept that its going to right away with my issue to make my card how I told Steve in India the first time (no reply back or phone call) I got confirmation it had already been shipped (GRRRR). Omg, really....no one contacted me like they said they would within 24hours & it was delivered the day before Vday; honestly... When I was asked when & what time you want this delivered I STRICTLY STATED THIS FRIDAY 2/14/14 before 5PM... I called to complain & another person from India (Amanda) all she could say was sorry over & over & nothing on their end to ease my frustration; well I'm not sorry & hung up

Since you all FAILED at all issues stated above & had failed tremendously on my previous order before & now this order, I WILL NO LONGER ORDER FROM FTD.com DUE TO POOR QUALITY IN DELIVERY dept, CUSTOMER SERVICE dept, AND ESCALATIONS dept!!!!!!!

He took all my details and that of the recipient and said he would send me a confirmation email. About an hour later, I still had not received an email from him so I decided to call. When I did by providing my confirmation number, customer service hung up on me several times so I kept ringing back. After telling them a dozen times that I had not received any information from them to confirm my order, they said they had got my email address wrong.

I then spelled it another dozen times (which I've never had to do). Still no email. Then finally, I receive 2 random emails with no subject matter, no order confirmation email, no payment details, basically it did not even look like a legit email and not even from FTD.com. So I rang again after persisting I finally got an email from them after I had threatened to take legal again. By this stage I had already decided to cancel my order as this whole process seemed suspicious. I told them immediately to cancel my order and for them to NOT put my order through and that they were to send me a full refund back into my account.

I got an email with absolutely no mention of any refund, any details of my purchase, etc. By this stage they had already charged my card!!! I quickly ran the fraud guys of my card and had my card cancelled immediately. I am now going to chase the money they owe me. I will never never never use their services again. They were dodgy from the word go. We will see what happens... In any case I will never use their services ever again. I'm usually a patient person but these guys never cared. I went on the web to review the gift on FTD's website. The only thing in the picture that was the same as what I received was the boxes it was packaged in. In the photo, there are 3 boxes, all of which show to be full of goodies...key word here... FULL. The actual gift has 6 pieces of Ghirardelli chocolates (top box in photo shows it full of Ghirardelli), a small bag of jelly beans (unknown maker), a small box of chocolate covered pretzels (middle box shows a bag of jelly bellies and the rest of the box full of chocolate covered pretzels), a small bag of chocolate-covered almonds and two packaged cookies (third box shows a box/bag of chocolate-covered almonds and a box full of cookies).

Shame on you, FTD, for such deceptive photos and practices. I did call because I did not feel like my son received what he paid for and I was told a replacement would be sent the next day...we'll see if that actually happens. When I called, I also talked with someone whose accent was so heavy, I had to ask her to repeat almost everything she said. I ordered an arrangement for a funeral for a close friend from FTD and made the mistake of thinking that FTD would fill the order as it was advertised. What was ordered (full, tall) and what was received (small!) were two totally different items. Customer service repeatedly asked me to tell them 'how many flowers were in the arrangement'. Mind you, I was at a funeral and did not count. However, I did discretely take a photo of the arrangement. I sent that pic to FTD to prove my point. They still did not address my issue, other than offering a $15 credit, which I refused. Instead, I disputed the charge through my credit card and will next go to the Attorney General and file a complaint there as well as with the Better Business Bureau.

I've never seen such blatant false advertising or had such horrible service from a company. The worst part is that the flowers were for a dear friend and I had hoped they would reflect our close relationship. Instead, I ended up sad and embarrassed. (After being hounded about the number of flowers in the arrangement, I turned the table on FTD via online chat and asked them to tell ME how many flowers would be in the arrangement. The rep struggled and finally came back with numbers. He quoted numbers for the baseline arrangement that were greater than what I'd received in my arrangement (per picture). I had also paid up for the 'better' arrangement so I asked him how many flowers I'd get for the additional monies and he said 'value'. After pressing the question several times, he finally came back with a number. He gave me the details I needed for my complaint.)

According to their web site, I called with plenty of time to even have had this done the same day but it was for the next day so there shouldn't have been any issues. Also, I specifically asked the FTD Customer Rep at the time of the order - was there enough time for this order to be delivered. He guaranteed it was. When I asked if she had received them, she said no. I got on the phone with FTD; they said the courier had tried to deliver the flowers on Friday but the person had moved. My mom has lived in the same place for 6 years and still lives there. I said, "I believe the courier went to the wrong house." I asked that they confirm the address, which was correct and then the customer rep said, "The courier would have left a note." My mom said that no note was left. I asked the rep if the flowers I ordered would be delivered today, since it is Mother's Day and then he tells me that the flowers that I already paid for were not available for delivery today. Excuse me?

So when you order flowers, they ask for a phone number, in case of issues with delivery. I left my number but no one ever called me. So they took my money but never delivered the flowers, nor did the rep offer to find other flowers that could be delivered to my mom on that day. I canceled my order and requested a full refund. On Thursdays night, the 16th, my mom called me to tell me on Wednesday, the 15th, she received a notice in her mail from FTD about a package delivery they attempted but she moved and to call their number. On Thursday, the 16th, UPS delivered a box to her from FTD. Inside were dead flowers, all gooey and black and stuck to the paper. Happy Mother's Day from FTD!

Called midday on Thursday after Mother's Day. Was ready to cancel. Explained to the customer service rep that each day someone had tried to reach the florist without any success. Each person had said that they would get back to me to let me know what was happening but I still had not heard anything. If she wanted to try one more time, I would wait. Otherwise I wanted to cancel and receive a full credit.

Lo and behold she got through! The florist agreed to deliver the bouquet that day. I did not receive an explanation, however FTD offered to credit my account for a portion of the bill. An e-mail received soon after specified a credit of $10.70 which was maybe 18%. I have yet to see that credit on my credit card.

So, the bouquet was delivered that afternoon (only 4-5 days late). It looked fine and seemed to be of the medium size which is what we ordered. There was an extra card included from the florist saying "sorry for the inconvenience."

I believe in the future I will call florists directly instead. I don't know who dropped the ball on this order but at least if I deal with the local florist I can drive to their shop if they don't answer my calls and deal with any problems directly.

On May 1st, I ordered a bouquet from FTD.com for my stepdaughter's first Mother's Day. She had just had a baby and we wanted to send her something special. The delivery was scheduled for either Saturday, May 11, or Sunday, May 12. I thought I ordered early enough. The bouquet never arrived. Around 5 pm on Mother's Day, I sent a delivery request through the FTD website and received a generic response. Their site said deliveries could be made up until 9 pm so I continued to wait - nothing.

On Monday morning, I called to see what happened. They said they would send an email to the florist and let us know - nothing. I called again on Tuesday - same story - still nothing. On Wednesday, I was able to call closer to midday. They tried to contact the florist by phone with no luck so they said they'd send another email and let me know - still nothing. I did try to find out which local florist they were using but they "are not authorized to tell me". I figured I could drive by and see if they had closed up shop or something. Heck, at least I'm in the area. I don't know where FTD customer service is.

It is now Thursday after Mother's Day. When I call this time, I'll see if I can speak with a manager. It seems kind of pointless to keep trying to get this delivery and obviously, the surprise is gone. I'm hoping to cancel and get full credit without much of a fight.

On a final note, to be fair, this is the first time I have had a problem with FTD. We've been using them for a while, mainly sending 1 (maybe 2 at the most) bouquets a year. But this experience has me completely turned off. I don't know that I would ever trust their service again. They should have better control and contact with the florists that deliver for them.

I ordered a green plant and flower basket for my mom (77) and aunt (96) for Mother's Day. I was told it would be delivered by the morning of the 12th. I had called my mom to tell her to keep an eye out for them and they didn't arrive. She and my aunt sat by the door all day waiting for them. I called FTD at 3 pm and they told me they were being delivered. By 8 pm that evening they were still no shows. Again, I called FTD and they told me that they couldn't get a hold of the florist and their records show they were delivered.

I informed them that they had not been and how they ruined the day for these two elderly ladies. The next morning my mom went to go out on porch and there sat 2 tiny Hydrangea plants. I paid for the upgraded basket! That was not a upgraded basket; in fact, there was no basket, just 2 little plants in pots. Mom called me and I called FTD to complain and I was told that they were delivered on Mother's Day per the driver. I told them that they were not as they waited till 9 pm and then went to bed. And it was not what I ordered. I was basically called a liar. Never ever buy from them. They say customer satisfaction. Well, they are the liars!

Just had my second negative experience with ftd.com. I ordered Mother's Day flowers for my mother and they were never delivered. This exact scenario happened last year and I was foolish enough to believe that it couldn't happen again. I ordered the flowers a week in advance of Mother's Day and they were scheduled to be delivered on the day before or day of Mother's Day. By 4PM on Mother's Day, my mother had not received the delivery. I called customer service and was told that the flowers were "on the delivery van and en route." At 5PM, I received the following email from ftd.com:

"Thank you for your recent purchase from FTD.com. We regret to inform you that the item you ordered was unavailable at this time in your recipient's delivery area. We would like to arrange delivery of a different item as soon as possible. Please contact us using one of the methods below so we may assist you in selecting a new product. We apologize for this inconvenience. Thank you for choosing FTD.com. If you have any questions about your order, please call 1-800-SEND-FTD (1-800-736-3383)."

Do not order from ftd.com. I certainly learned my lesson after 2 bad experiences with them. When I called to speak with a supervisor, I was told that I would have to hold for 30 minutes to speak with one. Completely unacceptable and they don't care.

We ordered an arrangement for a family member a couple of weeks ago. She received an arrangement and posted a photo of it on FB. It wasn't anything like the arrangement advertised on ftd.com and in fact, we upgraded to a larger arrangement for over $60. There were very few flowers and lots of leaves/fill. It was an embarrassment! In my complaint to FTD, I requested a partial refund. Instead, we were offered 20% off, and then were told we would be sent a $20 coupon toward the next order. It was never received but then, I would never consider spending money with them again. I will be sending a complaint to: Michael J. Soenen, CEO and President, at FTD.com Corporate Headquarters, 3113 Woodcreek Drive, Downers Grove, IL 60515 (fax: 630-724-6019). I would suggest that anyone with a consumer complaint against ftd.com to do the same. Maybe if he hears from enough of us, he'll address the poor customer relations/quality issues that plague ftd.com.

I ordered and paid for 2 dozens of roses (catalog #B19-4387 with best bouquet option for 24 stems of roses, order #**). The flower delivered by FTD was not 2 dozens. Not to mention that the flower arrangement was nothing like the one on the website. I wad told by the recipient that the flower was hideous. She specifically said that flower must be arranged by a guy. I asked her to send me a picture of the flower and I found out it's not even two dozens. I called FTD. The first gentleman was very nice and offered to send a replacement.

The next day, I had two missed calls from FTD so I called back. I was questioned by the customer service as if I was lying about the flower. I offered to send FTD the pictures of the flower and FTD doesn't want to see them. Then later I received another call from FTD saying that they checked with the flower shop and apparently, FTD decided to believe the guy from the flower shop. There is one simple way to verify who is lying and FTD decides not to believe its customer. I just paid for the gold membership, so why would I want to stay with FTD if this is the way they treat customers? I don't have to lie and I even have both the evidence and witness to support my statement. But FTD decides to ignore all that and treat all customers like liars.

I sent FTD an email to complain the whole thing through their website. The next day, I got an email from FTD saying that I hung up the phone after they offered 20% coupon. I told them I did not hang up the phone after being offered 20% off coupon for my next order. I simply refused to take the coupon and told the rep that I will post these pictures online and let everyone know this is what you get when you order 2 dozens of roses from FTD. So I definitely didn't just hang up the phone. Why would I order from FTD again with a 20% off coupon when they delivered less than 80% of the flower you ordered? After saying that I will post my story and pictures online, the rep just simply said okay. That was it.

I think it's FTD's corporate responsibility to investigate their product quality issue. They can simply call the recipient and ask for the photo of the flower arrangement. But why did FTD refuse to do that? Most people will just give up and let FTD get away with it. Of course, I do not believe every flower shop under FTD is dishonest. But FTD is certainly encouraging their flower shop vendors to lie because FTD will never investigate questionable products. All customers have certain rights to ensure we get what we paid for. FTD is not on the customers' side in terms of product quality issues.

I called the 800# and was placed on hold for a long time, only then to get a customer service agent who could speak very little English and unaware of my complaint, in terms of understanding what I was saying. I am very disappointed and will never use FTD again. I called the florist this morning that delivered the flowers to my wife and she advised that although I paid for the best, FTD only sent her a fraction of the cost and she had to work with what she had received. My husband asked for a supervisor and after 45 minutes, one came to the phone. Their response was "We will give you $10 off." My husband told her that the flowers were for Mother's Day and that is why we wanted them on Mother's Day. I noticed when I pulled the pot of miniature rose plant out of the box that the leaves just did not look healthy. Some were dropping off already and have continued to do it. It was plenty moist when I took it out of the box, maybe even too much. So I didn't add any water to it. Some of the leaves have turned yellow, and it was just delivered 4 days ago, on the 10th or 11th of May. I haven't told my daughter anything, because she will feel bad. But I do think she deserves her money back. Her name is Deborah in Davies, Florida.

I called my mom in the evening on Mother's Day and asked her how pretty her flowers were and she had never gotten them! I called customer service and they were so unhelpful. Not only did they barely speak English, but they lied to me about the delivery saying that their computers said that it had been delivered. I thought the total of my order was $129. I went to pay by Paypal and it comes back charging me $215. When I looked - it appeared that for each order -- FTD tacked on a Services charge that was almost more than what I ordered. Yet these numbers were never available to me until after I paid. When I went back and looked at what was advertised, there is no fine print or text about service charges. There is also nothing on their page to register a complaint or contact them. He paid $108.06, $86.99 for the arrangement plus tax/delivery charges. The differences between the two arrangements was extreme and the discount of 30% does not begin to justify what was received and the poor delivery. There are similar complaints online for FTD. Is there some other recourse we consumers can take to try to get the refund due to us? This is so unjust to so many people and FTD is literally getting away with highway robbery with online purchases from their website.

I said I wanted the order cancelled and my account closed. On Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. my wife calls me saying she got the flowers delivered! The shipping label said it was shipped Feb. 15, 2012! That certainly made sense as the arriving flowers were completely dead. I called FTD to find out what on earth are these people doing running a business this way and that I do not want my CC charged! I ordered a nice bouquet of flowers for my wife for Valentine's day which happened to be our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I ordered on the 9th which was plenty of time for delivery on the 14th. I paid $19.99 for the delivery and received a UPS tracking number on the 13th. On the 14th, I checked the UPS site and the flowers had only left Florida (I live in Wisconsin) on the afternoon of the 13th. The UPS site stated the expected delivery was the 15th, the day after our anniversary.

I called FTD and was told by a recording that they had a high volume of calls, so I could call back or hold. I elected to file a complaint on their web site. I called UPS and was told there was nothing they could do. They only picked it up the afternoon before and it did not arrive in their station until 10:15, well after all the drivers had left for their routes that day. I went to the local florist and paid excessively for an equally nice bouquet on short notice. We left the house at 6:30 p.m. that night for dinner and ended up having a nice anniversary anyway.

The next day, I had an email stating the flowers had been delivered so I phoned my wife and asked her. She said no one knocked on the door but she checked the porch and the box of flowers was there. The flowers were frozen and we ended up throwing them out because as soon as they warmed up, they all started to wilt, badly. I never received a call or response based on my online complaint but I did receive a second delivery confirmation notice, this one saying it was completed as scheduled on your requested date.

I called FTD again and complained about the delivery and to dispute the on time and on schedule their email told me. She offered me a 10% off which was about $9, and then she offered to refund the shipping, which was $19.99. I told her the flowers were ruined and the $10-$20 refund was not going to cut it. She offered to resend the flowers, which was pointless since the day had come and gone. I told her I didn't need $10, $20 or the whole refund. I just wanted her to know that I would never use their service again and I will make sure that everyone I know knows that they are taking a risk ordering flowers from FTD.

On my receipt, it said that the flowers will be delivered no later than 5pm. I am sitting here at 5:50, on hold on the phone with FTD for the last 55 minutes. I don't know the local floweriest that's delivering the flowers and I can't reach FTD. I'm so frustrated that I'm ready to cry. I know it's the holiday season, but FTD should be more prepared for this, they go through this every year! It's not an excuse when they're business depend on these holiday seasons. If they can not handle the business, they should not take my order and put me through this. Okay, finally got through to them. They told me that the reason that the flowers were not delivered was because "they don't have a floweriest in my area! "When were they going to tell me that!

Then they said that they are willing to give me a refund. A fat lot of good that's going to be. They take whatever orders they want, and when they can't deliver; they just refund the money! They have nothing to lose! What about the customers. They were promised a product on a very special day, they wait all day for it, try to call to find out what's going on; wait on the phone for an hour and be told 'sorry, we'll give you your money back.' Never-mind the frustration, the stress, the emotional turmoil, the time to take other measures. FTD doesn't take it seriously, because there's nothing to loose in just giving the money back, because they didn't put anything in it to start out with. they don't have to be responsible, we as customers do, because we are stupid enough to put our trust in them.

I ordered some flowers for my mom this Mother's Day. Imagine my chagrin and anger when they never arrived. When my order had not been delivered over 24 hours after the requested delivery date, I emailed the customer service contact on the FTD website. The email I received told me to wait another 48 hours for processing of my complaint. After I had still not been contacted for two days, I emailed again. Another 24 hours passed, and I finally called the telephone hotline.

The representative I spoke to was not only difficult to understand because of her extremely thick accent and quick-speaking manner, she was flippant and unhelpful in regards to all my complaints. No matter what I said, she kept repeating the same two phrases again and again, "We apologize for the delay," and "The flowers should be delivered soon," was all I could get her to say. When I specifically stated that I wanted a refund of my money, or at the very least a coupon for a free future purchase, she basically told me to 'have a nice day' and hung up on me.

The flowers were finally delivered to my mother, but only after it had been well over a week from the time I originally ordered, with no real explanation for their tardiness. To top it all off and add insult to injury, the flowers sent barely matched the bouquet I ordered off the website, at a percentage of about 50% correctness.

I am utterly and completely dissatisfied with the service of their website and company, and will never patronize them again. I have more than half an inclination to contact the Better Business Bureau to at least warn them about these shoddy and deceitful business practices.

I expected better from such a well-known name in the flower business, and this why I want to make sure other consumers find out about how they really act. This company could not have gotten more things wrong with the overall experience had they been trying deliberately. I was foiled at every step of the process, and remain highly disgruntled even some time later. I would have probably let it go, but they continue to send me emails several times a week about their specials, even though I have 'unsubscribed' from their newsletters twice. Then, today, they had the nerve to send me a guilt-trip notice, asking why I hadn't filled out their customer satisfaction survey. Well, I filled it out all right, and I let them know exactly how I feel about them!

I ordered flowers from FTD and they told me that I clicked on a link and entered my email was authorization for Reservation Rewards, which is some how affiliated with FTD, to charge my credit card account around 10 dollars for over a year, approximately 15 months.

10 dollars a month for 15 months or 150 dollars.

I ordered flowers for mothers day, got a confirmation of the order. Then 2 days AFTER mothers day, I get an EMAIL saying that they received MY request to cancel the order. I never cancelled the order! They didn't fulfull the order and send me an email? I called them up and they said Sorry and said, Well we refunded your money. I didn't want a refund, I wanted a simple flower delivery to my mother on mothers day. Then they offered $10 off. $10 off? They do one thing - deliver flowers on special occassions. Once the occassion has passed, it DOESN'T COUNT!

Last Mother's Day, 2007. I ordered a floral arrangement through FTD.com. The screen immediately before the final stage of my order submission asked if I wanted to receive a $20. discount to be applied to my current order. All I needed to do was enroll for a free membership in their Reservation Reward program to receive the $20. discount. Keep in mind that they already have my credit card # since I was in the final stage of my order submisssion.

Well, the terms and conditions (was a huge document of legalese). Well, I never was discounted the $20. and until this day I've been charged $10. a month. I've demanded my bank to refuse the charges (CitiBank) and they say they will but the next month comes around and it's still there. They've ripped me off $120. ($10. for 12 months) and continue. And our banks offer little to no help at all. Many of these membership based programs only have email addresses and they never respond to your inquiry.

Well, I've already lost $120. and I suppose I could close out my checking account, but that presents another host of problems since I do much of bill paying on-line. But it's getting hard to trust doing business on-line with all these scammers out there. And it seems there's no policing or little awareness of laws governing against these illegal practices.

I ordered flowers in the $100 range for a funeral. I checked to make sure the flowers were delivered 03/07/2008 and got no response. I have been inquiring for over a week now to see if the flowers ever got to the funeral. I DO NOT want to have to ASK my friend whose mother died. That is tacky. I have gotten NO response via e-mail except a generic no-reply message saying they are diligently working on my problem. I have been on hold on 2 different occasions for a total of over 1 1/2 hours.... They billed my credit card directly over 2 weeks ago. My order number is FND538178.

What this did was create a charge to my credit card, and I cannot use the card until this is cleared up. This clearly has harmed me because you can't DO OVER something as important to my friend that I didn't care about her mother, or her feelings. I am angry that I have simply asked for confirmation of my order and if delivery DID take place (which I doubt). I want replacement, apology, and SOMETHING!

In September, 2007, I purchased an FTD flower delivery to my home via website. The order was easy to place, billing was correct, and the beautiful flowers arrived as described and on time. But after placing my order, I was directed to a webpage for WLI Reservation Rewards. The popup window and accompanying webpage said that by signing up with WLI, I would receive 10% off my next order. If there was fine print about paying to join WLI, it was too small to read or intentionally presented in a confusing manner. The bottom line is this: I never entered my credit card information, yet somehow WLI has billed me $10/month twice. Obviously, FTD finds it fair and appropriate to forward their customers credit card information and give WLI unfettered access to their funds by tricking them into authorizing this dubious union. I wanted FTD to give me at least $20 in products from FTD or a check for the same amount. They would not. They called to apologize and give me WLI's phone number, but otherwise said "tough luck." I will never buy from FTD again.

I told them I would file my complaint with consumer affairs and the better business bureau. I will also post my complaint about their practices on every relevant website and blog I can find. I also pointed out to them the exact clauses that their practices violate in their own security and privacy statement.

I have a $10 monthly charge to my credit card without my known authorization. I'm sure I'm not the only one....

I ordered flowers for Valentines Day. I was asured the flowers would be delivered on Feb. 14th 2007. They were not delivered on that day and I have not been able to contact FTD by phone. I was very disappointed that I was unable to get her the flowers on Feb. 14th, Valentines Day. I don't know if and when they will show up but the purpose has been defeated. I want a full refund. I paid for Valentines Day Flowers and chocolate. I paid $85.98. I want a full refund.

This past Valentine's Day was a near disaster for my girlfriend and I, thanks to FTD. Here are some examples of their "professional" and "courteous" conduct.

    1) Valentine's morning, they call my girlfriend and tell her that FTD is calling, and that they have a surprise bouquet for her (thanks for ruining the surprise) and they need to know how to get to her address. I placed this order a week in advance, and not once was I contacted with questions about my order. FTD, instead, chose to wake up my girlfriend on Valentines and ask her. Thanks

    2) After 20 minutes of explaining to the delivery person how to reach her apartment (at this point, the pleasantness of my surprise has long worn off), the florist calls back to specify what time would be convenient for HIM. He then proceeds to threaten that if no one is home at the time, then my girl friend won't get her flowers (that I spent $100 on, but that's a separate issue)

    3) My girlfriend, a college student, had no choice but to leave for class, already pretty upset. When she returned from class, she found my $100 bouquet of roses on its side on the doormat in front of her apartment.

A perfect ending to the FTD fiasco. I trusted a well-recognized name to do their jobs and simply deliver a bouquet of over-priced flowers to my girlfriend on Valentines. Had I paid less or used a less well-known delivery company, I wouldn't complain and accept that I got what I paid for. But this doesn't seem to be the case.

I've written them asking for some sort of explanation, but have yet to receive any sort of reply.
