I ordered online, and asked for a February 13th delivery date (my mother's actual birthday). By February 14th, no flowers, so I call in the morning, and they tell me that there are notes in their system that they had a "problem" with finding florists to fulfill the order and they were unable to do so. They did not notify me, I had to call them. After creating quite the fuss, they agreed to upgrading my flowers, and even though I was very unhappy about it, I understand that it's Valentine's day and there's only so much they can do, so they told me it would be delivered definitely by Tuesday since Monday was President's Day and Sunday they don't deliver. Of course, it's the end of day Tuesday, and no delivery, so I call again, and they tell me it would either be today or tomorrow. I was beyond furious at this point, so I demanded a refund, so like everyone else's similar experiences, we'll see how that goes.

I ordered flowers to surprise my mother who just lost my dad and that was her first Valentine's Day without him. 4 days later and nothing yet. I sent out 4 emails and no reply. I call customer service and she says it's out for delivery (yeah right!). I got upset with her and I asked for a refund. Told her I am reading the reviews right now and I should have read them before my surprise was ruined and I need my money right now. I don't care where the flowers are. She said she processed it and I will wait for my credit card statement to show the refund.

I ordered my mother flowers for Valentine's Day in hopes that they would be delivered in a timely manner. Much to my surprise my mother called to say that she had been sitting at home all day waiting on her delivery. I was very upset to say the least. You see my father is a truck driver and I just recently moved across the country 2200 miles away and it's always been my job to ensure that my mother got her flowers and goodies from my father. This is the first Valentine's Day my mother didn't receive anything.

A little email stating that they were unable to deliver the flowers due to high-volumes and seasonal problems. I do not accept their excuses. They ruined what was supposed to be a special day for my mother. We will never be using this company ever again. They can take their $20 they Credited to my card for this undelivered arrangement and the $20 they gave me towards my next arrangement and learn how to treat their customers.

My son's father had flowers delivered to me for Valentine's Day. I was so excited I opened them and started getting them ready only to learn that they were ALL DEAD! Not one of them was salvageable! I put them in water anyways, woke up the next morning to even worse they had all completely fallen apart! Never have I experienced anything like this before! Nothing like the picture he showed me! How is this place still in business?! I'm so baffled!

I placed an order on Valentine's Day 2015. I ordered the "sweet devotion" bouquet which was the best selection before exquisite. According to the description for the "sweet devotion" bouquet, I was suppose to receive a 20" in height by 16" in width bouquet. When I received the bouquet, the bouquet was 12" in height by 13" in width. The sweet devotion bouquet option was $64 but with taxes and delivery fees came out to $93. When I called to complain abut the size of the bouquet their solution was only to refund me $10. Never again will I use this service and I suggest you guys avoid it as well.

I had ordered flowers for my wife for Valentines Day. I ordered delivery for Feb. 12th and they were delivered on Feb. 11. Which voided the surprise. They delivered a gift not ordered. I attempted to cancel the order two days before the requested delivery date but could not get that message through to the people at the customer service phone number because I could not get anyone who spoke a recognizable English.

After a time of futile effort on my part to make myself understood, I asked for a supervisor a number of times and finally was put through to a person who I was able to understand. She said she would take care of it and cancel the order but that didn't happen. The company would not respond to any of my email messages in my attempt to take care of the situation. Then at the end of all this they offered to give me a credit for $50.00 off of my next order. The question remains; why would I order anything from such a company? I can't think of any reason to do so either.

Update: FTD did end up issuing a full refund for this order, which was very much appreciated.

    Original Review: Feb. 15, 2015

I ordered my mother the lush RED rose bouquet for valentines day, original price $59.99, but received a corporate discount thru my company, with delivery and tax $70. They showed up and were the most miniature vase of 8 MULTI-colored flowers, possibly carnations, maybe two roses, and not in the best condition by any means. I did NOT order the smallest size either, so aside from the flowers not being what I ordered at all, they came in the smallest form possible. I would have been fine if they substituted the flowers and were proportionate to the size, and color, but not even close. I have tried to rectify this with ftd.com and the flower shop who sent them, but have heard nothing yet. I have used 1-800-Flowers always, and realize now I made a mistake trying something new. Terribly sad...my mom deserves better. They should be ashamed.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mother/sister/niece for Valentine's Day. I had the delivery date set for 2/13 to make sure it was there by Valentine's Day. I received a notice that the item had "shipped" from FTD.com. When I didn't hear from my family on the 13th, I checked the tracking with UPS and it said a label had been created on 2/12. I checked again on Valentine's Day and the status had not changed on the UPS site, so I called them.

I found out that they had not even received the delivery from FTD.com. I called FTD.com to see what the problem was with the delivery. The lady was very rude. She required that I give her every piece of information you could imagine to "look up" my order. Apparently my full name, address, and order number was not enough.

Anyway she said that she would have to check to see if "the item was in stock" and see if they could have it there by the 17th. Would that be okay? NO, that is not okay! I wanted to surprise my 76 yr old mother with flowers on Valentine's Day not 3 days later. She then said that she would give me a $10 off towards my next order and have them delivered on the 17th. Would that be okay? NO!!

I had to tell her at least 3 times that I wanted to cancel the order and get my money back. She said that she would "personally assure me" that this would not happen on any future orders. Ummmm that's another false promise. She has no control over the orders, heck- she couldn't even tell me why the order I was calling about didn't make it by the promised (and paid for) time/date.

She got angry with me for not accepting her offer for a late delivery (if they had the "item in stock") and then was very quick to say "I am cancelling your order". I am hoping my money will be refunded, but feel that may be an uphill battle. I will NEVER use this company again. I wish I had put some time into reading the reviews before I ordered from them. The saddest part is now, the element of a surprise of Valentine's Day flowers to family in another state is ruined. Thanks FTD.com.

This is what you get for an upgrade? I don't know who they contract to make the bouquet and delivery, but it is not worth the money. I could have spent $25 at Walmart for better flowers. I'm writing this review for my husband. We regret not seeing the reviews people had online before ordering. This company has ONE lady for customer service who changes her name every time we call asking to speak to a supervisor. The order I placed for a special vase with roses was not what was delivered. Instead it looked like something put together by the 2 teenage boys who delivered them to my house. Never recommend ordering from this site.

When I spoke to the customer service rep she said the first time her name was Patrina Jewel. The second time I called again her name was Anna yet every attempt to speak with her supervisor she says he's on the other line with other customers. So we tried calling while one of us was on the phone, there's not another person there to take my call while she was on the other line with my husband.

They don't have a normal customer service where there's a group of people on the phone with other customers. My husband was put on hold for 10 minutes, that's when she answered my call. When she answered, this time her name changed again. What a wasted $144 spent. I hated to see my husband so disappointed the way he looked today.

Then 20 dollars shipping, all said and done almost 90 dollars for the smallest bouquet of baby roses I've ever seen. I didn't know there were roses that small. 3 or 4 of them weren't even bloomed. I took a picture of the bouquet next to a Dixie cup, in hopes to attach. They were similar in size. If this is the norm for online florists, I wish them luck.

FTD Flowers sucks. I ordered a bouquet at 3 am Friday morning. At around 8:30 they called me to tell me that arrangement was no longer available, that I could choose another one. I chose another one, they confirmed it was available (and when I'm saying available, I mean for same day delivery). They called me back an hour later and said that was was not available either. Each time they would call me, they would put me on hold "while they called a florist" to see if it was in fact available or not. Why didn't they do this before calling me. First 2 phone calls lasted 32 and 46 minutes. I chose a third arrangement that I was told was available. I was called back because it was not available. This time I told the person, "how bout you tell me what you do have available and I'll choose one."

After choosing 6 that were not available, she found one, called the florist who confirmed it was available; this phone call lasted 1:08:02. Ask me if I wasn't pissed. 30 minutes later, they called to say it was not available. I completely lost my ** and went the hell off. I usually don't do this, but lately I'm just cursed with bad luck (between my phone and these flowers). I understand that it's Valentines Day, the busiest day for flowers. BUT shouldn't the florist have had a lot more flowers considering? (BTW I wasn't even ordering Valentine flowers, it was for my boss, a funeral wreath or Ficus tree would have made me happy at this point).

IF NONE OF THESE ARRANGEMENTS ARE AVAILABLE WHY ARE THEY STILL ON THE WEBSITE ALLOWING YOU TO ORDER THEM SHOWING "SAME DAY DELIVERY AVAILABLE". They told me that it was because it was valentine's day and that their call centers deal with over 40,000 florist, that there was no way to keep up. Well I work for IHG and we have 4,600 hotels with 671,000 rooms, YET our call centers and websites know when we are sold out. Sometimes the systems are out of balance, but it is our job to make sure that we stay on top of it so that they are balanced. Especially during busy times. Take for example a hotel in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. No room left, are we going to keep taking reservations over the phone and online, then call the people to cancel? BTW, each time an arrangement wasn't available, I had to cancel and reorder, they couldn't just change the order.

LMAO I had the most unpleasant experience with their rep (Dwayne Id # **). This idiot had the effing nerve to just laugh at me when I explained what had happened. "Oh I'm sorry" like 7 times he said. "I'll give you 10% discount" which didn't even cover the cost of the vase she was suppose to get. Very unhappy with their service and the local florist they went thru. So I ordered my daughter a floral arrangement for Valentine's Day, over a week ago, but when I called this morning to check to make sure the order was correct, they had not put my order in. So the rep was suppose to put the order in and guarantee it for delivery TODAY 2/13/2015. I told him just make sure that my daughter has it by 3:00 pm because that's when she gets off. He assured me that she would have it and I paid the extra shipping cost to make sure that she would have it. The total came out to $80, but nothing is too much for my daughter, it's a tradition I have done since she was little, but I had never used FTD.

Well I go to lunch and I come back and call her just to see if she would say anything about getting flowers, and to my surprise at 1:00 pm, NOTHING HAD CAME... I proceeding to calling FTD, and I was informed that the product that I order was sold out. Now why the hell wasn't I told this at 8:00 am, I don't know. So now she is apologizing and telling me she was going to give me a 15% discount on my next purchase, well hell no because I will not be ordering from your company again. She then told me she had a florist that would assure me the arrangement but bigger by today 2/13/2015. I didn't trust that at this time so I asked to be placed on hold while she contacted the florist to make sure. Not surprised at all when she came back to the phone and said she could not find a florist to delivery today.

I was furious, so I demanded my money back and waited on the phone while she processed my refund in the system. If I do not receive a refund in 3-5 days, I will be making a compliant with the BBB, because this is ridiculous how this company is ripping people off, and I should have read your reviews first. I will next time! Sorry to hear about all your problems but we must stop them from doing this.

A family member sent me flowers, they arrived limp, dead, frozen. The delivery boy dropped them at the door, rang the doorbell and literally ran back to the van. The flowers sat outside approximately 5 seconds before I brought them inside. It was obvious they had frozen somewhere, some point in transit. I phoned customer service and got a man who spoke minimal English, it became apparent after 15 minutes of back and forth and being put on hold for 5 minutes, that he didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about, his English was that bad. He said flowers would be delivered again the following day. I repeatedly asked him was he certain, 100% certain? Oh yes. He told me he's send a confirmation email, at that point I knew he didn't have a clue, he didn't even have my email address! He just couldn't grasp that I was the recipient.

I insisted on speaking with a supervisor, on hold for another 5 minutes, get a woman who speaks only marginally better saying she was an "assistant supervisor". When you ask their names, they hesitate and then make up a name. She also assured me replacement flowers would come the next day. Nothing came. I also emailed the company on their website customer service page, no reply at all. Had to tell the sender about the flowers, she felt awful, phoned customer service and this time was told replacements would be sent two days later. She was able to get a tracking number. The flowers aren't local, they are shipped to Kentucky from California, and then to their destination, so you are taking a HUGE chance with them. Never, ever, would I order from them or suggest them to anyone. They should be investigated.

Boy, did I get a surprise today. I ordered The Sweet Surprises Bouquet, C12-4792D, for my wife's birthday and Valentine's Day. I won't bore you with the details of the delivery phone calls and emails (too numerous to count), I will let you see for yourself what my wife received after the "upgraded" delivery because FTD was unable to honor their commitment for a delivery after ordering this over three weeks early. The delivery was handled by FedEX and everyone knows that delivery companies are extremely careful with packages, NOT!

In the picture you will notice the lack of buds, the lack of filling the gigantic "free" vase and the lack of the flowers that I paid for. I don't know about you, but I see a considerable difference between the website photo and the "junk" my wife received. I have ordered from FTD more times than I can count over the years, but the last two have been disastrous. I thought after last year, I would give them one last try because, as I said, I have ordered from them numerous times. I will no longer be a customer of theirs and neither should you. Save yourself some time, headache and lost money. Go to other floral company that will give you what you pay for and what the recipient deserves. By the way, there is a ceiling light shining onto the flowers and I used a flash for the camera too.

This year, I was able to afford a nice flower arrangement for my wife for Valentines day. I picked out a premium bouquet called The FTD Casual Elegance Bouquet. It arrived on the day I specified, but when my wife sent me the picture and said it was nice, I about lost it. She also asked if it was what I ordered. I told her no and sent a picture of what it was supposed to look like. She said it was totally different.

I was upset for the fact I hadn't been able to afford this in the past and now they got it wrong. I didn't stop there. I called to complain and got a foreign person on the phone. No issue with that because I've dealt with heavier accents than this person. The problem was she couldn't understand me and I had to constantly repeat myself. After she supposedly called the local florist, she said they could give me 20 percent and a 10 dollar coupon. I said "You can't have them picked up and refund me the $94.99 I spent on just the flowers?" She said no.

Then why does it say a replacement or refund for 7 days on their website. After 20 min on the phone, I hung up and called my wife. She called FTD and talked to a foreign person. They tried the same 20 percent and 10 dollar coupon crap with her and she let them have it. In the end, they said the florist would come pick up the flowers and that I would get a full refund. We'll see. Never again!

We understand how important this gift is to both you and your recipient, and we are truly sorry it did not meet your expectations. We always strive to provide the very finest quality and service, so please let us assure you that all your future orders will be filled with the special attention and care that they deserve." I ordered a $55 arrangement for my husband that was an upgrade, however, a smaller and not upgraded arrangement arrived. I called FTD to ask why the smaller arrangement and the gentleman offered me 10% discount. I asked for the correct arrangement to be delivered and they could have the small one back but he declined. He is refunding $5 when I paid $10 hmmmm... I asked for a supervisor.

I was on hold for 33 minutes and then disconnected. I called back and after a shorter wait I was connected with a supervisor, Kim **. I sent her pictures of their advertised flowers and picture of the delivered flowers and she agreed the arrangement was "sparse" and wrote that she would refund some of my money but keep the groupon and the FTD discount I had used. Shortly thereafter a delivery man went to my husband's work and asked for the flowers and vase back! My husband did not know I was trying to correct his arrangement, it appeared they were taking the flowers back.

I wrote to Kim ** and ask if she sent the delivery driver. That was hours ago and still no response. A woman who was very hard to understand called my phone and said she was sorry they did not call me first before picking up flowers and said she would give me 15% discount. So now I am still paying $10 more and receiving $8 in refund. Interesting math at FTD. I wonder how many people do not even know their flowers are not upgraded and if they complain take the 10%, which is very profitable to return less than you are paid. I again wrote to Kim ** and asked if she send the delivery pickup and asked what was going on but still no response. I will be interested to see if I receive any refund.

The bottom line, I paid UPGRADED price and they delivered INFERIOR product. Now I am worried about the two previous orders I had sent in the last two weeks. I do not trust FTD nor their upgrades; false advertising scam if you ask my opinion. After my first order they offered a $10 discount on next order but when I placed the next order they would only give me $5. If FTD only wants to give $5 that's fine but that is what they should write; not that they are giving $10 off. I wish I would have seen these reviews before I placed those three orders. I always thought FTD had a good reputation but in my opinion FTD is clearly playing fast and loose with their advertising, switching to a lesser product and their poor customer service.

Here is the real story about FTD. They have beautiful pictures at fantastic prices. All their pictures are one sided meaning that in reality if you got an arrangement from FTD it would be flat on the back. However since they aren't a real florist and rely upon a real shop to fill orders then it works like this. You pay $60.00 for an arrangement plus a $18.00 service fee (real florists don't charge service fees). Add tax and you're paying $80+. They then send the order to a florist in the delivery area and only give them $43.80. Plus they charge the florist an FTD fee for accepting the order of $1.75 and there is no delivery fee which costs a florist $10.00. So your $80.00 purchase will never look like what you ordered because FTD doesn't pay the florist the whole amount, and charges them for taking orders. FTD, 800-Flowers, Teleflora and any other "online florists" work the same way. Call a local florist

I've had two instances in Dec. 2014 right before Christmas and today Feb. 9, 2015 where floral arrangements I selected to send to my mother in a nursing home on Cape Cod, MA were unable to be delivered. This time I ordered on Feb. 8th feeling assured a florist could fill the advertised bouquet with this lead in time. No such luck as I just received the second email saying they were sorry local florist couldn't fill the order.

Burned twice and it's the last time I will do business with them. They promise what they cannot deliver. If they don't have enough florists on Cape Cod, they should announce this upfront so that the consumer can find another vendor. If they really only have a very few florists working with them now, let's not deceive the consumer. I had never had a problem with them until these last two orders. Their website manages to not give you an email address where you can complain about a non-delivery… How convenient for them! 1-800 Flowers has a scant selection but they came through for me in December after FTD failed. Thanks for listening.

Dealing with customer service to resolve this issue was a complete headache. I couldn't understand a word the woman was saying and was put on hold for a solid 30 min. In the end the option I was given was for the florist to pick-up and redeliver the flowers which is fine, but they should have done it right the first time instead of assuming I would never see the embarrassing arrangement they delivered. I will never order through FTD again.

On January 26, 2015 I ordered flowers for my wife and paid a service fee of $21.00 for same day delivery. I was never notified that florist refused to deliver. I contacted customer service on January 27 and spoke to 'Terry' who assured me he would handle. Nothing was handled. I spoke to 'Sara' on January 28 who told me she would contact the florist to arrange for my refund. As of February 3, I am now calling a 3rd time and speaking to 'MJ' who has now kept me on hold for over 30 minutes trying to resolve.

There appears to be a gaping disconnect between FTD and its florists. A charge should have never been processed. At a minimum, a refund would be in order for non delivery. This may seem irrelevant but I will escalate this and obtain counsel if necessary as this is clearly a fraudulent and irresponsible way to conduct business -- especially given the industry that it is suppose to represent. I have never had anything similar to this experience with 1800Flowers and I have used their service for many years.

I placed an order with FTD online and used a Groupon worth $30, applied to a 10% bouquet. I was not aware that the fine print said I wasn't allowed to use two discounts, and apparently neither was the online calculator because my total came out to $31.54, $33.99 less than full price. I'm a college student so pinching pennies is a necessity to say the least. I checked out and received a confirmation email with the price on it.

On Sunday, I received a notice from my bank saying my account had been overdrawn. That was impossible, since I hadn't paid for anything else besides the flowers. When I checked, FTD had charged me $61.54, DOUBLE what they had confirmed. I called the company to ask why, and they told me my Groupon had already been used so the discount had been taken off.

First of all, I hadn't used it, but I'll admit there's a possibility it was used by someone else in my family. That wasn't the problem. The problem was that I never received an email about the change in price or allowed the opportunity to rescind my purchase. I asked to talk to a manager and was told that there was nothing they could do since the Groupon was invalid. No show of apology, no offering of a discount coupon, nothing. Fortunately, my bank was able to resolve the situation (to them the problem was so blatantly obvious that it took less than 10 minutes to fix the problem). FTD, however, has definitely lost a customer.

I was then told that delivery was not available in the area & that I had received an email with that information. I told the service rep that I received no such email (double-checked my email trash folder, just to make sure!). He insisted that I did. I was pleased that he said he could refund the $81.98. However, that doesn't change the fact that my M-I-L won't be getting anything from us in her birthday.

I wish I had read the reviews for FTD before ever going to their site. What a waste of time & money. I'll be using another flower delivery company from now on. I just hope I get the refund in 3-5 days like the rep said. We'll see.

I was unable to leave Switzerland to be with her so of course I tried to send flowers as it's the least I could do. I ordered what looked like a very nice arrangement. The first day it was supposed to arrive, I got a confirmation email that it had been delivered, but my mom said she hadn't received anything. So, I called and they assured me it would be delivered the next day. It was not delivered the next day or the next or the next, or at all that week. I called almost every day that the flowers weren't delivered and every day they assured me the flowers would be delivered the following day. I kept getting emails about how the delivery had been delayed, "please respond", I replied and of course got no answer.

On the 5th day of emailing and calling I asked to speak to a supervisor. I told him that I was really upset with the situation and that, unfortunately, there had been complications and my mother was still in the hospital and that made the flowers even more important. He refunded my shipping costs and upgraded the arrangement for free, again promising the flowers would arrive the next day. Of course, they didn't. I called again and asked to speak to a supervisor. Finally I felt like I had gotten someone on the phone who understand how upsetting the whole thing was. She refunded my money and, as my mother was being released from the hospital since it was a week and a half after I had initially tried to send the arrangement, assured me that she would send a dozen complimentary roses to my mother's house and call my mother to explain that I had tried diligently to send her flowers in the hospital and that it was their fault, etc.

I did receive the refund, but, of course, the flowers were never delivered. NEVER EVER using FTD again. It's so upsetting how something so simple as sending flowers can mean so much in a situation like that and FTD was completely apathetic and failed over and over again to do their job.

On Dec. 15, 2015, I went online to FTD.com to order the FTD Glowing Elegance Centerpiece. It had 4 levels of flowers: good for $54.99, better for $64.99, best for $79.99, exquisite for $89.99. Since this arrangement was for my family's annual Christmas party, a very special event for all of us, I ordered the Exquisite arrangement. When I clicked on my shopping basket, however, it showed: "Good $89.99." Concerned that there might be some confusion as to which arrangement I had chosen and was paying for, I canceled my online order and called FTD at 1-800-736-3383, the number listed at the bottom on the webpage for this arrangement.

I shared my concern with the representative over the phone, and she said that there would be no problem with that, that she would take care of that. I then put in a phone order for the above exquisite-level arrangement. The centerpiece was delivered, as promised, on Dec. 19, 2015. My brother texted me a picture, and I thought it looked very skimpy. I was traveling and unable to contact FTD that day. The next day, my niece emailed me another picture of the arrangement from the party. It was definitely skimpy. It appeared that FTD had delivered the good arrangement, not the exquisite arrangement.

I called FTD on Saturday night, Dec. 20, 2015, and they offered to pick up the good arrangement and deliver the exquisite arrangement on Monday, Dec. 22, 2015. On Monday, when I had heard nothing from FTD, I called them again at 4:00 p.m. They had no record of my previous conversation or their offer to resolve the problem. They said they would deliver the correct arrangement on Tuesday, Dec. 23, and give me a free upgrade. When they said "free upgrade," I became very concerned because I had ordered the highest level offered. I asked them how they could give me a free upgrade, what they were upgrading to, and they said "Don't worry about it. This will be a very nice arrangement."

Well, by Tuesday evening at 4:00 p.m., FTD still had not delivered the "upgraded" arrangement. I called them again and said I just wanted a refund. On Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 23, 2015, I called my brother again, telling him that I had given up and just asked for a refund. He told me that at 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 22, 2015, a florist had come by and delivered another arrangement that looked just like the first arrangement. I was furious. I called FTD. They have told me that they have submitted a refund. It has not appeared on my credit card yet as of today, Dec. 24, 2015.

Since I live 2000 miles away from my family, it means a lot to me to share this occasion with them by contributing a centerpiece to the dining room table, which is served as a buffet. I miss my family so much at Christmas, and I love them so much. Sending a nice bouquet is a way for me to express this love. Sending a skimpy bouquet sends another message entirely, especially since they know I can afford a nice bouquet. I was so crestfallen and sad, I cried most of the night. My brother has helped me with this, suggesting a florist they use in town. I will use this florist next year. I would like someone to look into what FTD is doing with the different levels of arrangements. This may be a huge rip off.

I then received an email that delivery had been completed. When I got home, I walked around entire house and there were no centerpieces. I then called FTD and was told that the next delivery would be December 30th. Who wants Christmas centerpieces delivered on 12/30? FTD is horrible. I will NEVER use them again. I am so frustrated and disgusted. Thank God for 1-800 flowers.

To my surprise, I received an email showing a different amount for the bouquet- $39.99. I wish I had did some research before ordering from FTD. I see I am not the only that got ripped off by them. I received a coupon for 25% and decided to send my special aunt, who is in home hospice, something to brighten her day. I ordered the full and lush bouquet. It was supposed to be an upgrade to the picture shown. They sent me an email stating they were unable to locate a local florist and were upgrading it again. With that, I assumed an amazing arrangement would be delivered. That was so not the case.

I could have purchased a better arrangement at a gas station for $7.99. I spent $49.99 with FTD and that doesn't include shipping. To make it worse, they send a brochure, with the bouquet, which clearly lets the recipient know what is was supposed to look like as well as how much it cost. I did email a complaint. They did send another bouquet but when I called to see if it was any better, I had to threaten my uncle not lie because I would see it in a few days. He said it looked the same but had a few more roses. He joked and said they sent the $20 one the first time, and this is another $20, I almost got my money's worth and the vases will make nice bookends. In the end, I paid more then $50 for bookends instead of flowers.

This company should be shut down. They are complete rip-offs! I feel totally scammed.

Instead of ranting and raving for 10 pages, I'll just give the facts: Easy purchase (required purchase before any other options were available to see). Liars (spoke to 6 different south-Asian reps & managers who didn't know English, but promised the "de flowaz is on de wai nouw". Waited all day, no flowers, called several times. Called next day. Their story changed from "wrong address provided", to "nobody was home" to "florist couldn't make the arrangement in time." They lied hoping I wouldn't know the better. Took over an hour to get someone to give me a refund (they kept offering 5% discounts and next-day delivery). Finally looked at other reviews, VERY glad the flowers weren't delivered because their pictures lie, the flowers aren't REMOTELY close to what is promised. Was very glad this was a simple love gesture to my wife, and not a critical event. Went with a nice local florist. Was very happy. Will try my hardest to let everyone else know that FTD is a scam from Asia.

Note: When I asked which local florist they used for the delivery, the rep, manager, then supervisor all refused to tell me who it was. They also refused to tell me where they were located & just said "off-shore". So apparently they're operating somewhere in the ocean. Haha, joke. Seriously though. I really hate them with passion. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not use them. I would like nothing more than seeing their scheming scamming butts go right out of business.

Not in any way near what was represented in their online advertisement. That ordered was in a cut glass vase, with rust colored roses, lilies, bi-colored mums and my favorite - hypericum berries - they never made it into the vase. I ordered the next to the largest arrangement (was to be 18 inches across - don't think it made 12). Was a thank you gift for being hosted to Thanksgiving dinner - so embarrassing. Delivered by someone in an unmarked car, no florist name on the arrangement, cheap piece of cheap, tacky, twisted ribbon tied around the neck of the vase, crumpled message card... FTD not marked on the delivery. I was mortified. Paid $95.21 for a $15 - $20 bunch of old flowers in a cheap vase. Supposedly I am getting a $25 gift card - to what I do not know. BUYER BEWARE on this site - bad, bad business. Very disappointed and unhappy customer.

No greeting, no personal hand-off to recipient. Item was delivered without sender card attached; recipient did not know who it was from further delaying gratitude to sender and delaying opportunity for sender to complain within seven day guarantee window. Freshness did not last seven days. Called on seventh day and was told my call was past seventh day as first day counts toward the seven total. The ‘At least seven days’ clock should not start until time of delivery, not with one day deducted at time of delivery. Customer service rep initially offered 30% refund, escalated to manager who offered 40% but would not honor seven day guarantee. I will be considering other flower companies on my next order.

Buyer Beware: False advertising, poor quality, AND horrific customer service.

Recently, I ordered the "Orange Escape" arrangement as a surprise bouquet gift for my mother. In the ordering process, I was given the option to get a small, medium, or large bouquet size. Each option was accompanied by a photo and sizing dimension so the buyer knows what to expect. I opted for the medium-sized bouquet, which, with the vase and shipping, came out to around $70. Unfortunately, upon delivery, the bouquet was less than satisfactory. It was full of greenery and cheap filler flowers, versus the roses and sunflowers pictured on the website. Plus after one day of my mother having the bouquet, some of the flowers began to wilt and die. Which is in direct dispute with their claimed "7 day guarantee"; spoiler alert: no one acknowledged this claimed guarantee when I approached them with my dissatisfaction.

Feeling cheated, I politely called FTD to offer them a chance of rectifying this situation. After three days of back and forth phone calls, AND after sending them a photo of the arrangement my mother received, I still was given no concrete solution. Now, it became not only a quality issue, but a customer service issue as well.

    The most shocking part:

Today I was on the phone with their customer service for more than hour trying to reach an agreeable solution. First, they offered me a mere 30 percent refund, which they claimed would be about $6 back (do the math - that is not correct anyways). I told them that offer, in addition to the poor quality product I received, is extremely insulting and I wanted a full refund. An FTD customer service supervisor said that the ONLY way for me to receive a full refund is for the company to take back the arrangement, again, a gift to my mother. He not only mocked me by sarcastically saying "why does it matter if we take the arrangement back anyways since you claim the flowers are so HORRIBLE to look at in the first place..." he was also extremely argumentative and irrational. He spent the majority of the phone call trying to disprove my opinion and requests, even making a comparison to how Wal-Mart does their returns. He also asked me "if you say the flowers are so horrible, why doesn't your mother think so too? Why would she want to keep them?" I was flabbergasted at his approach towards me. I am still in disbelief that this person was a customer service SUPERVISOR.

Since this page does not allow access to posting photos, I will be posting my photo evidence on Yelp. DO NOT spend your money here. This company falsely advertises quality bouquet arrangements, then will not cooperate with customers who are not satisfied with their half-hearted efforts. My biggest mistake: not doing business with a local, qualified florists, not looking to make big business profits off low quality products.

I ordered an $80 bouquet for my wife to be delivered on our 10-year anniversary. I have been working out of town so it was important to get these delivered. It was on a Thursday and she was leaving town Friday to meet with me. So Thursday came, no phone call, no delivery. Called FTD, they were no help. Come Friday afternoon a delivery service called at 3pm? Then dropped the flowers on our door. Wife would not be home till Monday. Monday morning dead roses on our door step. I called FTD again. They said that they will look into it? WTF? I have dead flowers!!! And not even close to the arrangement that I ordered?

Second call and this lady seamed more understanding. Said she would send replacement order with free upgrade. Again missed delivery date, they delivered the next day and to add insult to injury it was not upgrade, more like a down grade. Small arrangement that I could have bought at the market for 20 buck. I called, I email, told would look into it. Been 4 days now and nothing. Terrible, terrible service. Will not ever use again.

I was attempting to place a flower delivery. I selected the "FTD You Are Special" arrangement (item #14-F1P) in the "best" configuration listed at $64.99. However, when I went to check out, I noted that the arrangement was listed as the "good" configuration, but the price was the same - $64.99. I attempted to call Customer Service. I was on hold for 15 minutes. The customer service agent who eventually answered was very difficult to understand but forwarded me to another number. After 20 minutes of being on hold with an irritating voice announcing every 15 seconds that "someone would be with me momentarily," I hung up. I really feel like this was a "bait and switch" operation. If I hadn't reviewed the small print carefully, I would have paid $20 more than the listed price for a "good" configuration and probably never would have known because it was to be delivered directly to another address. Shame on them! And furthermore, there is apparently no way to contact their customer service without an order number already in place.

The plant (peace lily) was never delivered. I found out the following Monday that it had never been delivered. I had not been contacted by FTD, regarding the delivery. I ordered and put my trust in a company that is not trustworthy. I called, I had a very hard time understanding the representative. I asked where she was (I guess I was curious), she said an undisclosed location, REALLY black op flowers!!! After at least an hour on the phone I was finally given a supervisor. They say they are refunding my money. I am so unhappy with the way I was treated! Shame on you FTD.

I ordered flowers for my mom (from dad) for their 40th Wedding Anniversary, which was Sunday 9/7, to be delivered to her work on Thursday 9/4 since I knew she would not be there Friday. Bit of background... I've been ordering from FTD.com for many years, multiple times per year, to be sent to her work. I received a phone call on 9/4, the date of delivery, at 5:45 pm stating the flowers were not delivered because the address could not be located. The option given was to re-send the order the next day.

I informed she wouldn't be there and asked if they can redeliver them on 9/4 as requested, only for her to say it's past their cutoff time for same day re-delivery. I asked what time they were notified by the florist of the address issue and was told 2:09 pm....4 HOURS BEFORE THEY CONTACTED ME!!! When asked why neither the florist or FTD called me at the time of delivery when they couldn't find the location I was only told that FTD just started working on my order and they don't know why the florist didn't call me. They offered nothing but next day delivery or cancellation of order.

I asked for a supervisor and after at least an hour of talk trying to figure out some solution, I was promised a refund of the shipping cost but only because I asked for the shipping to be refunded. He did however state he would request a bigger arrangement to be sent, even though I had already ordered the BEST size. I told him to send the new order to my house on 9/8 and I would personally deliver them to my mom's work. I'm still waiting for the refund. I was told that if there was an issue Monday with the order to call and ask for the supervisor that I spoke with.

I received the flowers today...... and the roses were practically dead, not to mention the arrangement sent was smaller than the original order, not bigger as promised. So I called. When I asked to talk to the guy I talked with Thursday I was told he's in another call center and doesn't have a direct extension...... This supervisor basically said she had no notes of my hour long discussion held Thursday. She said option would be they come get the flowers and refund the full price or do a swap with a new arrangement. Neither would work due to the flowers not being at my address any longer. I took it upon myself to get it taken care of outside of FTD for a replacement. I will not be doing business with them again..... and they only got one star because I was required to give a rating.

Thank God my daughter attended the service or I would never have known that my flowers had never been delivered. Once I stopped crying, I called FTD to ask why and was told the spray I ordered was not available in that area. When were they going to notify me???? I could have ordered different flowers had I been told. While they admitted it was their fault they made no attempt to take care of the problem and I was asked "What would you like us to do?" They offered to resend flowers, did they forget it was a funeral? The person I dealt with made it clear he did not care by the way he talked. I had to ask for a refund and still have not received it. I'm both sad and mad about how this was handled. How could they do this knowing the flowers were going to a funeral? Bottom line, I believe I never would have known the flowers had not been delivered if not for my daughter. I will NEVER use FTD again and will pass on how I was treated to everyone I know.

To start with, the bouquet was absolutely pitiful and half the flowers weren't even open. For a cost of $62, my wife received something that I could have picked up at the local grocery store for less than $15. FTD should be ashamed of themselves for describing bouquets with all flowers showing perfectly and not reflecting the actuality of what ends up being delivered to the recipient, which in my wife's case was the complete opposite of a happy birthday flower basket.. It looked more like something you'd see in the hospital room of a coma patient!

And the story on the phone of "we're experiencing a high volume of calls so please wait on the line or we encourage you to go to our website and click on the customer service link to send us your comments", I actually believe that you purposely make people that want to complain via telephone, get additionally frustrated waiting to speak with one of your representatives. So, the bottom line is that you describe a product that doesn't actually get delivered "as described" and you overcharge both the florist and customer with your extra "service" fees.

I now fully understand why FTD has a one star review from the Consumer Affairs website. I will now add my negative review to as many locations on the web that I can, as I feel sorry for anyone attempting to express any emotion via using FTD for a loved one, and creating disappointment as opposed to excitement and happiness is something for your organization to consider moving forward. I would suggest that flower shops that are NOT FANS of FTD, and are located inside of a particular city to form their own local flower delivery service to bypass using FTD, as I've never been this embarrassed by something that I gave my wife for her birthday. I just finally got to speak with a very nice FTD customer service representative and will be utilizing the 7-day money back satisfaction guarantee once I discuss this with my darling wife.

By the end of Monday, nothing had been delivered. I did not receive a call or email. I called customer service and they said there was no florist in the area that could do that arrangement. Why was the order accepted if there is no florist in the area that can do the arrangement? Why was I not contacted on Monday that my order could not be delivered?

The customer service rep offered to have a $10 upgrade of box flowers delivered on Thursday... That's five days after I wanted my flowers originally delivered. I ordered the "BEST-Bountiful blooms" arrangement for my wife on our anniversary. The arrangement was supposed to include a vase with a "Keepsake Hang tag" that said "Love." When the order arrived, I noticed the hang tag was missing. I also noticed that although I ordered and paid for the premium arrangement, it looked as though we were sent the lowest arrangement. While the picture on their website clearly showed at least 6 roses as part of the arrangement (mind you it was a side view, so there probably are supposed to be more on the other side) the arrangement we were sent only had a total of 4 roses!!

I called to complain and was told to send pictures and that the hang tag would be sent to me in the mail. I sent them pictures and made a complaint, and all they offered me was a measly $20 refund and $20 coupon for future order (as if I would ever re-order from them). The hang tag was never mailed to me, so they straight up lied to me. When I called back irate with all these issues, the supervisor bumped my refund by a whopping $8!!! Woopdie-freakin-do!

It is terrible when you try to do something special on a special occasion, and people like this mess it up completely. What angers me the most is that had it not been for the fact that my wife decided to work from home that day, I never would have known what had happened. If she had stayed in the office and never brought the flowers home, I would be completely in the dark about the size of the arrangement and the missing hang tag. Who know how often they send out small arrangements and the sender never really gets to see them to judge it for themselves. I placed the order for Tuesday delivery. Mid-morning Tuesday, I receive a call that the local florist "rejected" my order. To me, when I expect a Tuesday delivery, a call on Tuesday is TOO LATE. I'd understand if it was a Monday delivery because a lot of florists aren't open on Sunday but Tuesday? Unacceptable. Best they could do was change it to what they call a "vendor delivery" which apparently means via UPS on Thursday. I cancelled entirely.

I also asked to speak to a supervisor. After being on hold for close to 10 minutes, I believe I did speak to a supervisor. All he could say was "sorry". Would be nice if customer service people were trained to at least make it seem as if they are taking your complaint seriously, taking down information about it, and sending it to management. Simply saying sorry to me means the same as "oh well, am I supposed to care that one of the main service processes at the back-bone of our company is broken?"

When I called and spoke with a customer service representative on May 9th, I was told that the delivery was delayed and that the flowers would not be delivered until Saturday, May 10th. I discovered they still had not been delivered as of the afternoon of Mother's Day, May 11th, so I called and spoke with someone who sarcastically told me that I chose May 11th as the delivery date and that they would be delivered sometime that day.

Today, May 12th, I learned the flowers still had not been delivered. When I called and spoke with yet another customer service representative, she repeatedly told me they had sent emails informing me that no florist could fulfill the order. After I had to tell her several times that I received no such emails and that I had spoken with two other customer service representatives in as many days, she looked into my order further and realized the only email sent to me was notice of delivery delay. The best compensation offered me was a refund of $22 with a delivery date of the following day, which was totally unacceptable.

I understand that Mother's Day is probably the busiest day for florists, but FTD's handling of my order was reprehensible. I spoke with two different customer service representatives who could have and should have provided me with accurate information at the time I spoke with them. Instead, they gave me completely inaccurate information and wasted my precious time. The fact that they were willing to essentially refund my delivery fee (only after I made it clear that I was very angry with their poor customer service and rejected their initial offer) did nothing to compensate me for the time I wasted dealing with them. I will never use them again.

Two separate instances occurred. The first time, I paid for an upgrade on flowers so that 20 flowers would be delivered, instead only a dozen were delivered. After complaining, they decided to refund me and send another bouquet to the person but charge me for it, until I complained about that. The second problem was that the flowers I ordered got stuck in Ontario, and were suppose to go to San Juan Capistrano on Mother's day on Saturday. It got to Ontario on Friday but never got to my mom's. I called and they first said they couldn't fill the order until I pointed out that it was in Ontario. Then she told me it just can't be delivered until the following Tuesday. 5 days later! What condition were those flowers going to be in? I have the premium membership btw which I then told her I wanted reimbursed. They instead reimbursed my flowers, called a local florist and had those sent on Mother's day (charging me of course). I am so done with FTD.

My fiance travels frequently, so for Valentine's Day he ordered me flowers. I teach, and the school closes at 3 p.m., so he left instructions for the delivery to be made before 3 p.m. The package was not delivered until that evening, when the cleaning crew was here. School was closed that Monday for President's Day, so when I arrived Tuesday, the flowers were in a box, and the delivery had been made by UPS. Obviously, the flowers were now wilted, since they had been without water for 5 days.

Thinking it was only a fluke, my fiance used them again to order Mother's Day flowers. Again, the flowers were shipped UPS, but this time the flowers were delivered in a vase that had not been padded with any type of protection, so the vase arrived shattered, and again, since the delivery was made in the evening, the box was in my room on Monday morning. This time it was roses and white tiger lilies. The tiger lilies were completely wilted. Needless to say, that's the last time he'll ever use FTD!

I ordered the Vera Wang arrangement for Mother's day. I paid the additional two tiers up pricing to make sure it was a good of an arrangement as they offered! I arrived at my Mother's house hoping that she was pleased with the arrangement as I had been pleased with the online picture. Unfortunately, the two arrangements were hardly similar. It should be incumbent on a florist to at the very least advise if they could not match the flowers in the arrangement. I ordered this over three weeks ahead so there is really no excuse for not being able to procure the right flowers... A picture speaks a thousand words and below are the online version and the actual version.

The actual version had no roses, no white lilies and what appeared to be flowers picked out of someones side yard as filler. There was only two small blooms from what was supposed to be in the arrangement and they appeared wilted. FTD in Bombay on the customer service line advises they will redeliver another on the next working day... My confidence that it will be accurate is pretty slim. I would highly recommend avoiding FTD. This appears to be a scam and unless I was not physically there to see it, I would never have known that they ripped me off. The charge was $126 for what you see... I think I deserve a refund.

I was issued a refund that SHOULD show on my account in 3-5 days. At 9:00 pm the second bouquet had not been delivered and could not be traced because the florist had CLOSED for the night. After being on the phone OVER an hour with several people with HORRIBLE BROKEN ENGLISH, I was told I would be given a refund ONLY AFTER FTD can confirm with the florist TOMORROW that the bouquet was not delivered. I ordered a sympathy arrangement and Mother's Day flowers in a single order on 5/7 for delivery on 5/9. I received an e-mail and a text on Friday evening stating that 'delivery of your order has been completed as scheduled'. When I called my mother on 5/11, I discovered that the sympathy arrangement was delivered on Friday but the flowers were not. I called customer service and spoke with a rep who got my first and last names mixed up and could only read from a script. She only promised that the flowers could maybe be delivered by Monday and offered no discounts on the botched part of the order, only apologies.

I voiced my displeasure on Facebook, Twitter and via the FTD website. I then was called by FTD, where they offered a 10% discount on the flowers and guaranteed a Monday delivery. Again, my questions to the rep were met by recitation from her script. I have again voiced by dissatisfaction via social media and the FTD website and have received a response on Facebook to e-mail their community manager account. My expectation is that FTD would waive the delivery fee since I did not receive what I paid for in that regard. I don't expect a discount on the flowers themselves since I have requested that they still be delivered. I would also recommend that FTD's call center employs people who are better communicators and are more empowered to satisfy customers when an order is mishandled.

On Saturday night, I received a email saying my flowers were delivered but they never were. I contacted customer service who said they would contact the florist and get back to me. The next morning when there were still no flowers or any information from customer service, I contacted them again and was given the runaround.

On the third contact to customer service that day, they finally decided to actually call the florist while I remained on hold to find out where my flowers were. If this was done on the first go round by FTD customer service, I could have had an answer right away. When my flowers finally arrived to my mother, they looked nothing like the arrangement that I had actually ordered. The vase was supposed to be a beaded vase. It is just a plain vase. I would contact them again about the fact that the order I received was wrong but I'm sure I won't get an answer out of their customer service. Lesson learned, never do business with FTD again!

They asked me if I wanted them to pick up the bad arrangement and replace it. I said "NO"!! (How weird would that be??). So then they offered me a refund. Both the rep on the phone and her manager agreed that the local florist did a horrible job, btw.

Then I just got another call from FTD telling me that they went in and PICKED UP the flowers from Kim BECAUSE THEY WERE GIVING ME A REFUND!! I am so sorry Kim!! That is the WORST business policy I have EVER heard of. The guy on the second call was insisting that if I was getting a refund they HAD to pick up the flowers. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!! I ordered a wreath for my grandmother's funeral and the flowers were never delivered. When I called customer service, they contacted the florist who said that 11:30 AM deliver time was "too early" for them to make a delivery. They had my order over three days before the funeral! FTD and the florist had my cell phone number and they made no effort to contact me to let me know they would not be able to deliver.

When I contacted customer service following the funeral, they were not apologetic. I had to ask for a refund several times in order to get it. They expected me to want to pay for the flowers and have them delivered to my house on another day. At the end, I spoke to a supervisor that offered me a smaller arrangement for free, but it's too little too late. My only chance to have flowers there from my brothers and me at my grandmother's funeral was over.

Prior to this, my experience with FTD had always been good. They used to be a good company. A funeral is a one time event for someone you love - messing this up for me, knowing that you would be unable to fulfill my order and taking it anyway, and then being completely unapologetic and trying to make it difficult to get a refund - I will never order from FTD again! I urge anyone looking to purchase flowers for a funeral to look elsewhere.

Judging by the other complaints here, I would suspect that FTD won't be in business too much longer (hopefully not anyways - save everyone the headaches). I ordered flowers with a bear around the base in honor of a friend's new baby. I put the order in on the 7th of February to be delivered on the 9th (I think that I maybe even paid extra for it to be delivered on Sunday). I went along with my life thinking that it had been delivered and everything was fine. I talked to the friend on the 20th who said that he didn't receive any flowers.

I called the customer service line, and after having to repeat things like my phone number and other information several times, being placed on hold several times (because apparently it's so difficult for FTD's customer service to understand and type phone numbers and such in their systems), they told me that they would call the florist. They then told me that the florist was already closed at 4pm! Seriously? Of course I was not happy about any of this, began talking to a manager who seemed equally incompetent, who told me that her records show that flowers were delivered on the 10th (when they should have been delivered the 9th). The manager told me that if the florist says that someone signed for the flowers at the address, my money will be refunded, if the florist didn't deliver, then the flowers will be delivered with an upgrade. Even with the most optimal outcome in this case of getting the flowers delivered with the upgrade, I still don't feel very happy with this. The whole point was to have the flowers delivered right after my friend had the baby, not almost two weeks later.

The manager told me that she would call the next day to let me know what the florist said, but I didn't receive a call. I called later that evening and talked to customer service - took them forever again to look up my info. Customer service is finally able to get a hold of the florist, florist claims that they tried to deliver two times. The first time it was too cold out, second time no one was home. WHY DIDN'T ANYONE FROM FTD TELL ME THIS! So I guess that the florist just decided to give up on trying to deliver and hoped that I wouldn't find out? So the customer service rep told me that she will now have the flowers delivered. I'm not getting my hopes up about that, and after reading the reviews here, the flowers will probably either be the wrong kind or half dead if they are actually delivered. I will never, ever order from FTD again!!!!!!!

Am I crazy or do I remember a time when FTD used to be a reputable company? If I could give them zero stars I would. What a complete rip off this service is! I was going to go directly through a local florist but ended up going through FTD after finding a Groupon. What a mistake! I ordered the arrangement to be delivered on Feb 15th, hoping to surprise that special someone. I received an email from FTD that afternoon confirming delivery, and looked forward to her getting home and discovering the flowers. But there were no flowers.

I called the customer service number to of course discover I was talking to someone at a call center probably in India who didn't really understand me very well and was very hard to understand herself. She said she tried to call the florist, but they were closed and told me to check back the next day. Next day, I call again, and again am told the florist was closed. The next two days in a row I was told that the local florist claimed they had attempted delivery Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday and found no one home. I told the FTD operator that that was crap because I knew for a fact that there had been someone home all day Mon. and Tues. They claimed the local florist left a note on the recipient's door and not received a call, which again was untrue because there was no note.

I repeatedly asked the various customer service representatives (all equally inept and unhelpful) if I could contact the local florist directly since not only would we be eliminating a language barrier, but I'm also from the area and would be able to make sure they're going to the right place. I was of course told that FTD cannot release that information to protect the local businesses. What a pile of BS. What they're protecting is their own business because they know that if I can contact the local florist directly I won't need them at all. 7 calls to customer service already, and still no flowers.

I finally asked FTD to give the local florist a different contact number for the recipient and gave them my own cell number. Finally, I got to speak directly with the florist, but she was extremely rude. It seems like she was as frustrated with FTD as I am, but she chose to take it out on both me and my recipient, which is pretty messed up. Still no flowers, but she says they'll be delivered tomorrow and FTD claims I'm getting a free upgrade. It will be interesting to see if they actually make it there tomorrow and how they look.

I immediately email customer service and await a response. FTD gets back to me on February 17 and apologizes, saying that the flowers were never delivered. On 02/3/14 I order from FTD.com 18 long stem red roses, a plush bear and a greeting card to be delivered on Friday 02/14/14 Valentine's Day to my wife at her workplace. The total cost for all and taxes and delivery charges were $125.96 which were instantly billed to my debit card. I was so excited as this was our first Valentine's day as husband and wife. I got a text message from her thanking me on 02/13/14 at 2:30pm from my wife and later that day from FTD confirming delivery on 02/13/14. Well strike one a day early. When she got home I saw the flowers and was asked by her how come all the different colors? I told her I ordered 18 long stem red roses and a plush bear and a greeting card. There was no card but was billed for it. More importantly the roses were 5 white, 5 yellow, 8 pink ones. 5 of the eight pink were brown on the edges and not opened and wilting. The baby's breath was white and yellowing.

I sent an email to FTD on 02/13/14 stating the problem. Tried to call the next day but was on hold for an hour. On 02/16/14 I got a reply: "Please accept our sincere apologies with regard to your recent FTD.COM purchase. We understand how important this gift is to both you and your recipient, and we are truly sorry it did not meet your expectations. We always strive to provide the very finest quality and service, so please let us assure you that all your future orders will be filled with the special attention and care that they deserve. Due to the bad weather surrounding the Valentine's Day holiday, and the large volume of business, some orders were delivered ahead of schedule so as not to arrive late. Please contact our customer service line for replacement or refund of your order. If you have any questions about your order, please call 1-800-SEND-FTD (1-800-736-3383)."

Today 02/17/14 at about 3:00pm I called customer service and told my story. When I asked for a full refund I was told to hold and then after 10 minutes was told I would get a 10% discount off my next order. I asked for the name of the florist but she would not give it to me. I then said not to pay the florist. She said nothing. I again asked for a refund. She then said after a lot of complaining and told her how upset I was she said she would sent the florist a note. So this tells me FTD doesn't stand behind its customers or cares about them.

So my complaint is 1) delivery 1 day early 2) no greeting card 3) wrong color roses and wilting brown ones at that. I am hopeful the BBB can help me get my refund of 125.96 back to my debit card. I have a copy of my bill on my computer and I also took pictures on 02/13/2014 as proof and the emails to FTD. And of course all the witnesses at her office maybe wondering why someone would send their sweetheart different colored roses other than red on V-Day. Thank you.

First off, Last year I ordered (online) a big gift basket w/ personalized card for Mother's Day to be delivered the Monday after Mother's Day in May... Then I had to call 2 weeks later to complain why my mother got her gift w/ NO personalized card already in the month of February when it CLEARLY stated on my order/confirmation email May 12th? So instead of giving me at least half of what I paid for back on my card or full price that I think I deserved because that's a 3-month advance gift y'all sent out & having to deal with India; all I got in the mail was a lousy 25% off card (really... that's the best you can do & send out another basket on the original date for free?) Grrrrrr, lol you guys already ruined that moment for Mother's Day! Plus she didn't get the card again & it was delivered like you didn't care about it!

I went to go use your lousy 25% card for my bf Vday gift this year & (thought maybe I should call it in this time)... I gave India the information via phone & do a personalized card again in hopes it'll be better this time, NOPE! Wrong again, lol, first I cannot use the 25% card b/c the gift price was reduced (oh reduced by 9 dollars & your point?). I complained about my last order till they were able to take 25% off. Great, I'm happier now... Ummm my confirmation email had my personalized card make me look like I do not know how to spell Happy Valentine's Day (lol instead it's "appy Valenyine's Day") that's the first thing he's gonna read before reading the rest of my message (which that person didn't put in all that I said) which now it said "Click here if you have an issue".

Damn straight I do....so I emailed the dept that its going to right away with my issue to make my card how I told Steve in India the first time (no reply back or phone call) I got confirmation it had already been shipped (GRRRR). Omg, really....no one contacted me like they said they would within 24hours & it was delivered the day before Vday; honestly... When I was asked when & what time you want this delivered I STRICTLY STATED THIS FRIDAY 2/14/14 before 5PM... I called to complain & another person from India (Amanda) all she could say was sorry over & over & nothing on their end to ease my frustration; well I'm not sorry & hung up

Since you all FAILED at all issues stated above & had failed tremendously on my previous order before & now this order, I WILL NO LONGER ORDER FROM FTD.com DUE TO POOR QUALITY IN DELIVERY dept, CUSTOMER SERVICE dept, AND ESCALATIONS dept!!!!!!!

I came across their website and at first glance it look legit. I had not used their services before and usually I read reviews from other customers to see if they were okay. This time I didn't! Big mistake!! I had ordered a gift basket over the phone with a customer service representative. He sounded sweet, patient and cooperative. He took all my details and that of the recipient and said he would send me a confirmation email. About an hour later, I still had not received an email from him so I decided to call. When I did by providing my confirmation number, customer service hung up on me several times so I kept ringing back. After telling them a dozen times that I had not received any information from them to confirm my order, they said they had got my email address wrong.

I then spelled it another dozen times (which I've never had to do). Still no email. Then finally, I receive 2 random emails with no subject matter, no order confirmation email, no payment details, basically it did not even look like a legit email and not even from FTD.com. So I rang again after persisting I finally got an email from them after I had threatened to take legal again. By this stage I had already decided to cancel my order as this whole process seemed suspicious. I told them immediately to cancel my order and for them to NOT put my order through and that they were to send me a full refund back into my account.

I got an email with absolutely no mention of any refund, any details of my purchase, etc. By this stage they had already charged my card!!! I quickly ran the fraud guys of my card and had my card cancelled immediately. I am now going to chase the money they owe me. I will never never never use their services again. They were dodgy from the word go. We will see what happens... In any case I will never use their services ever again. I'm usually a patient person but these guys never cared. They just want to take my money and create a major fuss hoping that I'd give up but I will persist!

I received a different product than what I ordered on a different day, and FTD did little about it but offer me a coupon. In retrospect, their substitution policy was noted in the fine print on their website. I recommend not ordering from FTD unless you are willing to accept a different vase and/or flower arrangement from the one you ordered. They did not notify me that they were going to make delivery two days earlier, or that they were out of stock on the item I ordered, so I was not able to choose the replacement. One was chosen for me, and I was not satisfied with it.

I ordered flowers for a funeral and ordered the medium size and filled out the comments and signature section and submitted my order online. I edited the comments and signature section a couple of times and submitted the edits and each time I received an automated email that the edits would be made. On the day of the funeral, I looked over the flower arrangements and saw the one I had ordered. Not only was the comments and signature section wrong (they didn't include the edits I requested) but the flower arrangement had been swapped out from the requested medium size to a small - the ol' bait and switch - puniest thing I ever saw.

I sent emails to FTD complaining and asking them to reply, and for a week they ignored. I emailed the State Attorney General Office and they said they would contact FTD on my behalf. Shortly after that I heard from FTD - all these bandits did was apologize and said this wouldn't happen on future purchases. HAH they will never see my money again, those crooks. They received a plant, but it was left on the front porch in 10-degree weather without an attempt to make sure anyone was home. The worst part is it was not a money tree, which was $50. They substituted a fern like you would buy at Walmart for $8. We contacted the florist, who hemmed and hawed and said FTD authorized the substitute because it was of equal SIZE. That is ridiculous. A diamond ring is the same size as one you would buy in a gumball machine but that doesn't make them worth the same! They said we could come in and exchange it. NEVER AGAIN.

The flowers that they delivered were all white with very little purple flowers that was not visible in the picture sent to me. My son and his family send the Birthday Tower from FTD to me for my birthday. I know my son well enough to know that what came was not typical of his normal gifts. I went on the web to review the gift on FTD's website. The only thing in the picture that was the same as what I received was the boxes it was packaged in. In the photo, there are 3 boxes, all of which show to be full of goodies...key word here... FULL. The actual gift has 6 pieces of Ghirardelli chocolates (top box in photo shows it full of Ghirardelli), a small bag of jelly beans (unknown maker), a small box of chocolate covered pretzels (middle box shows a bag of jelly bellies and the rest of the box full of chocolate covered pretzels), a small bag of chocolate-covered almonds and two packaged cookies (third box shows a box/bag of chocolate-covered almonds and a box full of cookies).

Shame on you, FTD, for such deceptive photos and practices. I did call because I did not feel like my son received what he paid for and I was told a replacement would be sent the next day...we'll see if that actually happens. When I called, I also talked with someone whose accent was so heavy, I had to ask her to repeat almost everything she said. After reading other reviews of this company, I doubt very seriously that I will ever use them for anything.

I ordered an arrangement for a funeral for a close friend from FTD and made the mistake of thinking that FTD would fill the order as it was advertised. What was ordered (full, tall) and what was received (small!) were two totally different items. Customer service repeatedly asked me to tell them 'how many flowers were in the arrangement'. Mind you, I was at a funeral and did not count. However, I did discretely take a photo of the arrangement. I sent that pic to FTD to prove my point. They still did not address my issue, other than offering a $15 credit, which I refused. Instead, I disputed the charge through my credit card and will next go to the Attorney General and file a complaint there as well as with the Better Business Bureau.

I've never seen such blatant false advertising or had such horrible service from a company. The worst part is that the flowers were for a dear friend and I had hoped they would reflect our close relationship. Instead, I ended up sad and embarrassed. (After being hounded about the number of flowers in the arrangement, I turned the table on FTD via online chat and asked them to tell ME how many flowers would be in the arrangement. The rep struggled and finally came back with numbers. He quoted numbers for the baseline arrangement that were greater than what I'd received in my arrangement (per picture). I had also paid up for the 'better' arrangement so I asked him how many flowers I'd get for the additional monies and he said 'value'. After pressing the question several times, he finally came back with a number. He gave me the details I needed for my complaint.)

They never delivered the flowers and I never got a call. I received an email message on Friday early evening telling me, "Sorry we could not deliver in time". I don't understand. It was a large well known church, in a major city. I might understand if it were an out-of-the-way town 50 miles from the nearest florist. According to their web site, I called with plenty of time to even have had this done the same day but it was for the next day so there shouldn't have been any issues. Also, I specifically asked the FTD Customer Rep at the time of the order - was there enough time for this order to be delivered. He guaranteed it was. I even permitted substitution flowers in case they didn't have what I ordered. This was just unacceptable. Also, to NOT be notified for almost 36 hours that you couldn't deliver to a funeral in the middle of a week was just icing on the cake of complete frustration. Mother's Day was May 12th. I ordered my flowers on May 6th for delivery on Friday, May 10th. On Mother's Day morning, I spoke to my mom but she never mentioned flowers. When I asked if she had received them, she said no. I got on the phone with FTD; they said the courier had tried to deliver the flowers on Friday but the person had moved. My mom has lived in the same place for 6 years and still lives there. I said, "I believe the courier went to the wrong house." I asked that they confirm the address, which was correct and then the customer rep said, "The courier would have left a note." My mom said that no note was left. I asked the rep if the flowers I ordered would be delivered today, since it is Mother's Day and then he tells me that the flowers that I already paid for were not available for delivery today. Excuse me?

So when you order flowers, they ask for a phone number, in case of issues with delivery. I left my number but no one ever called me. So they took my money but never delivered the flowers, nor did the rep offer to find other flowers that could be delivered to my mom on that day. I canceled my order and requested a full refund. On Thursdays night, the 16th, my mom called me to tell me on Wednesday, the 15th, she received a notice in her mail from FTD about a package delivery they attempted but she moved and to call their number. On Thursday, the 16th, UPS delivered a box to her from FTD. Inside were dead flowers, all gooey and black and stuck to the paper. Happy Mother's Day from FTD!

Called midday on Thursday after Mother's Day. Was ready to cancel. Explained to the customer service rep that each day someone had tried to reach the florist without any success. Each person had said that they would get back to me to let me know what was happening but I still had not heard anything. If she wanted to try one more time, I would wait. Otherwise I wanted to cancel and receive a full credit.

Lo and behold she got through! The florist agreed to deliver the bouquet that day. I did not receive an explanation, however FTD offered to credit my account for a portion of the bill. An e-mail received soon after specified a credit of $10.70 which was maybe 18%. I have yet to see that credit on my credit card.

So, the bouquet was delivered that afternoon (only 4-5 days late). It looked fine and seemed to be of the medium size which is what we ordered. There was an extra card included from the florist saying "sorry for the inconvenience."

I believe in the future I will call florists directly instead. I don't know who dropped the ball on this order but at least if I deal with the local florist I can drive to their shop if they don't answer my calls and deal with any problems directly.

    Original Review: May 16, 2013

On May 1st, I ordered a bouquet from FTD.com for my stepdaughter's first Mother's Day. She had just had a baby and we wanted to send her something special. The delivery was scheduled for either Saturday, May 11, or Sunday, May 12. I thought I ordered early enough. The bouquet never arrived. Around 5 pm on Mother's Day, I sent a delivery request through the FTD website and received a generic response. Their site said deliveries could be made up until 9 pm so I continued to wait - nothing.

On Monday morning, I called to see what happened. They said they would send an email to the florist and let us know - nothing. I called again on Tuesday - same story - still nothing. On Wednesday, I was able to call closer to midday. They tried to contact the florist by phone with no luck so they said they'd send another email and let me know - still nothing. I did try to find out which local florist they were using but they "are not authorized to tell me". I figured I could drive by and see if they had closed up shop or something. Heck, at least I'm in the area. I don't know where FTD customer service is.

It is now Thursday after Mother's Day. When I call this time, I'll see if I can speak with a manager. It seems kind of pointless to keep trying to get this delivery and obviously, the surprise is gone. I'm hoping to cancel and get full credit without much of a fight.

On a final note, to be fair, this is the first time I have had a problem with FTD. We've been using them for a while, mainly sending 1 (maybe 2 at the most) bouquets a year. But this experience has me completely turned off. I don't know that I would ever trust their service again. They should have better control and contact with the florists that deliver for them.

I ordered and paid for 2 dozens of roses (catalog #B19-4387 with best bouquet option for 24 stems of roses, order #**). The flower delivered by FTD was not 2 dozens. Not to mention that the flower arrangement was nothing like the one on the website. I wad told by the recipient that the flower was hideous. She specifically said that flower must be arranged by a guy. I asked her to send me a picture of the flower and I found out it's not even two dozens. I called FTD. The first gentleman was very nice and offered to send a replacement.

The next day, I had two missed calls from FTD so I called back. I was questioned by the customer service as if I was lying about the flower. I offered to send FTD the pictures of the flower and FTD doesn't want to see them. Then later I received another call from FTD saying that they checked with the flower shop and apparently, FTD decided to believe the guy from the flower shop. There is one simple way to verify who is lying and FTD decides not to believe its customer. I just paid for the gold membership, so why would I want to stay with FTD if this is the way they treat customers? I don't have to lie and I even have both the evidence and witness to support my statement. But FTD decides to ignore all that and treat all customers like liars.

I sent FTD an email to complain the whole thing through their website. The next day, I got an email from FTD saying that I hung up the phone after they offered 20% coupon. I told them I did not hang up the phone after being offered 20% off coupon for my next order. I simply refused to take the coupon and told the rep that I will post these pictures online and let everyone know this is what you get when you order 2 dozens of roses from FTD. So I definitely didn't just hang up the phone. Why would I order from FTD again with a 20% off coupon when they delivered less than 80% of the flower you ordered? After saying that I will post my story and pictures online, the rep just simply said okay. That was it.

I think it's FTD's corporate responsibility to investigate their product quality issue. They can simply call the recipient and ask for the photo of the flower arrangement. But why did FTD refuse to do that? Most people will just give up and let FTD get away with it. Of course, I do not believe every flower shop under FTD is dishonest. But FTD is certainly encouraging their flower shop vendors to lie because FTD will never investigate questionable products. All customers have certain rights to ensure we get what we paid for. FTD is not on the customers' side in terms of product quality issues.

I went with FTD this year because last year, proflowers.com was unable to deliver on Valentine’s Day due to heavy fog at our local airport. FTD said a local florist would be delivering them. I received an email from FTD at 5:30 (30 minutes after she got off work) saying the flowers had been delivered. I personally drove to her office after work to see if the flowers may have been left in the lobby or near the door on her floor and nothing was there. I had already tried to cancel my order when I realized they weren't going to make it on time, but the website only allows you to cancel, at earliest a delivery scheduled for the following day. Customer service said there was an hour wait. Not only did the flowers not make it before she got off work, but FTD lied! She received a call from their receptionist this morning (Feb. 15th) around 9:30 am, letting her know the flowers had just been delivered. I will never use FTD again, and I suggest that anyone else also refrain from using them as well, at least for Valentines Day.

I ordered flowers for this upcoming Valentine's Day. It has come and gone without the flowers being delivered. I attempted to call the 800 number, but was put on hold for over 60 minutes due to high volume of complaints, I presume, at 9:00PM on Valentine's Day. FTD had a message on the answering service that to track your order, go to a website and submit the order number with your email address. No response thus far. I had to call the following morning at 5:00AM to speak to a person not from this country. The answer to my dilemma was, "We had order problems."

Do you think they would call and let me know that my order would not be delivered or come up with some solution? The only thing they did was bill my credit card for services not rendered. The only offer from FTD was that we can have it shipped tomorrow. Do you think at 5:00AM they could get it out that day since this was clearly their fault? I canceled my order and will never do business with them again. Thanks for a great Valentine's Day!

I ordered a very nice arrangement for my wife for Valentine's Day. On Valentine's Day, I received an email from FTD saying that they couldn't deliver my flowers, but offered to deliver them 5 days later! Excuse me, Valentine's day is on Feb. 14, not Feb. 19. If I took that offer, I would have to change the order to funeral flowers because I would be dead! I tried calling FTD, but waited for 60 minutes on hold before finally hanging up. I tried to write an email to FTD, but there was no place to complain on their website. Just awful service and they can count me out as a future customer.

I ordered a beautiful bouquet of roses in a heart-shaped vase via ftd.com for my wife for Valentine's Day. The website stated the order could be fulfilled by a local FTD florist. The next day, I received an email saying the local florist could not provide the product I ordered and something else was being substituted. I called ftd.com and I also got someone from another country who did not speak English well. I had a very hard time understanding her even when she explained things three times. Basically, she told me I had to pick something else that could be delivered by a local florist. I asked how I would know what they can and can't deliver. After being put on hold twice, her explanation was not understandable. So I canceled the order. Now I have nothing for my wife for a holiday I've been told I can never forget about. I will not do business with ftd.com again.

Flowers were ordered for Valentine's Day, Feb. 14. The flowers arrived on Feb. 12. I called and the only thing they did was to say they would send me a gift card which was half of what the flowers cost which I have not received. The flowers should have been sent out again on the correct day or the total amount for the flowers should have been refunded. I would not trust this company again.

I ordered the flower on January 31, 2013 for delivery on February 12, 2013. I ordered the flower so earlier because I wanted to make sure that flower can be delivered on that day. Then what happened? Today is February 12, 2013. No flower is delivered and not one single person can call me to tell me that FTD doesn't have the flower. What kind of business is this? What does value addition means to your customer? Maybe you do not have that so-called value addition. What's more, when I called your 1-800-736-3383, no apology, no explain and just asked me to spend more money to buy another one. Do you think that business is so easy to do?

I cannot imagine that in this world, in 2013, there is still such kind of company existing. I will never do any business with company like you. I can buy flower from millions of store and their flowers are much better than yours. I will keep telling people my experience with your company.

I ordered flowers from FTD.com for a dear friend's wake and funeral. I have just returned from the wake and there was nothing at the funeral home from us. I called FTD immediately and someone obviously in another country answered my call. I could not understand a word that she said which upset me even further. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I was placed on hold for 20 minutes. Someone else finally came to the phone and spoke a little clearer English. Apparently, not one florist in New Orleans had a peace plant to deliver to this wake according to FTD. It's kind of hard to believe since there were 2 plants already there, but this is what I was told from whatever country that handles FTD's customer service.

In consolation, they offered to deliver my plant tomorrow. I guess they were offering to ship it from out of the country since there are no plants in New Orleans. I just wanted to warn others about ordering flowers online. I think this was done because I am a Gold Member (woohoo) who pays a certain fee each year to not have to pay the service fee on each floral order that I make. Buyer beware! I sent them an e-mail and all I got was an apology. Really?

On December 10th, I ordered a birthday arrangement for my daughter-in-law. I paid the extra to have same day delivery. That afternoon, I received an email stating they were delivered. I waited until early evening and I still hadn't heard from Raquel. I called her and asked her about the flowers. She said she had not received any. I called FTD and he said he would call Raquel and apologize to her and make sure her flowers would be delivered. On December 11th, she received the flowers but they were old. They had brown along the tips and some were sagging badly. I called FTD again and they said they would pick up the old flowers and give her fresh ones. On December 13th, no fresh flowers came and I called FTD again. They cannot reach the florist and have been trying for the last three hours. Now, I'm waiting on a refund. We'll see if that comes through. I won't be using them again.

Flowers did not perk up with the directions followed. By day 4, the roses were done. The calla lilies lasted a few days longer. These flowers were delivered without a phone call to alert me to watch for the delivery. The temp was low that day and I was not home till late afternoon. By day 6, the best part of the arrangement was the supporting green and red foliage.

I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day. Along with the flowers was an FTD coupon for $15. Shortly after that, my uncle's daughter tragically passed away. Upon trying to use the coupon, I found it nearly impossible because they said on nearly every bouquet, "Oh you can't use that on that bouquet." I guess it was only good on the utterly high priced flowers. The coupon had no value to me. It was a nice surprise from my son but ended up to be a big disappointment and bad taste in my mouth for FTD.

I ordered flowers for my mom's 82nd birthday. I ordered the Angelica bouquet, which had roses. They sent her a different bouquet, which had lilies. My mom and I have always viewed lilies as the "funeral flower.” The odor of the lilies was so strong that it made her very, very ill, requiring medical care. FTD refused to send another order of flowers or refund my money. They also did not include the balloon that was ordered. They don't speak very good English as most companies; they are overseas call centers. Thanks for ruining my mom's birthday and making her sick.

I ordered what I thought was a basket of flowers with some ivy. I purchased the better selection because I loved all the flowers in the basket. What I got was a basket full of greenery, with some unbloom flowers in the back. When I called to complain, the person on the phone explained that they were from a place that cuts them fresh and that they will bloom. Well, this was a funeral and we didn't have the time to wait for them to bloom. We took pictures of the flowers and a snap shot of what we were supposed to get; they were nothing alike. I am so disappointed that I will never purchase online again. Not worth it. I wish you could see the two. FTD gave us $10 off. Big deal. I'd like to give them back their flowers and they can wait for them to bloom.

I ordered a comfort plant from FTD to be delivered to a funeral home. When I arrived at the funeral home, I was informed the comfort plant was not there but instead a tiny basket with 5 "un-bloomed" carnations, 1 stem of baby's breath, 1 fern and a bunch of ribbon was delivered instead. It looked like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree, with thick ribbon draped around to fill the empty flowerless space. I was mortified. I immediately called FTD and they claimed "they did not know what happened." They offered me a refund, which I gladly accepted. Then the florist who delivered this substandard product, actually went to the funeral home and removed the item. I was so embarrassed. This is unacceptable. Also, the funeral plant was intended for a very close friend who had just lost her father. I believe it was a scam. FTD refuses to give me the name of the florist who pulled this scam.

The order was placed on Saturday for funeral on Monday. I received a call from FTD on Wednesday about unexplained failure to deliver flowers. They offered to send to a home, but I don't know the address there or when family members will be there. Finally, they advised to deliver to me tomorrow, Thursday and I will deliver. 25% discount but who cares, I'm very embarrassed and have learned an important lesson. I can't "see" an arrangement online from a local florist, but I will never trust something this important to FTD in the future. I will also discuss this with the credit card company, my family and friends and my physician group.

When I called FTD, they told me that it got accidentally cancelled and they can't do anything about it. Really? There was no way I could still get anything on Friday night for Mother's Day. As of today, June 5th, 2012, I am still waiting for clarification of this. I still have not received a full refund and contact daily FTD by email, but I get only an automated respond. I am done talking to them on the phone, because every time I do, they promise me the refund, but then nothing happens and I have nothing in writing to prove anything. My daughter ordered a beautiful vase of tulips for Mother's Day way ahead of time to arrive that Friday. I never received anything, including a call from a supposed local florist. She called FTD and sent several emails - and got nothing in response until she filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. FTD gave her money back and asked if they can send a complimentary vase of flowers. The vase arrived last Thursday in a nice box. The flowers, yellow tulips, were hot and the vase was hot - like they had sat in the back of a truck for hours. I followed the directions precisely and now it is day 5 and the tulips never opened up at all. They are brown and the petals are just falling off. I would never ever order anything from FTD. This is very disappointing.

I ordered flowers for Mother's Day on 5/10/12, but I received an email on 5/11/12 stating that the order could not be filled because there wasn't a florist in my recipient's area. In the same email I was offered a $10 coupon on a different order and told to call customer service if I had any questions. I chose to order flowers from another company instead. I noticed two weeks later that the charge from FTD (for flowers that did not exist) hadn't been removed from my credit card. I submitted an online inquiry, but I did not hear back within 24 hours (as their automatically generated email stated was their goal). So I called customer service.

I was told that the reason the refund hadn't been issued was because FTD had sent me an email stating that I needed to call customer service first. I’ll reiterate that the email only offered a $10 coupon code and an invitation to call FTD if I had questions. I certainly assumed that since they couldn't fulfill my order, they wouldn't charge my card for these goods. I don't know what would have happened if I hadn't been paying close attention to my credit card statement. I am pretty annoyed that they would try to pull a stunt like this. It’s the first and last time I'll do business with this company.

On Saturday, 5/12, I ordered flowers for Mother's Day. I picked what was available to deliver on Mother's Day. Some time later, on Saturday, I received an email to reschedule delivery, but did not see it until the next day. I tried Sunday and Monday to get through on the phone, could not get through at all. The emails I sent were never responded to beyond the automated "we received your email."

Finally, on Tuesday, I got through to customer service. A man I could almost not understand said what I picked was not available. Bait and switch. So, in the end I asked for a replacement at a similar price and he assured me they would be delivered on 5/16. They were not. So I called customer service again. At this point, I find out that they charged me for the second order. They claim to have refunded me but they have not. I specifically asked on Tuesday if this was going to be charged and they said no. To top it off, I was promised delivery on 5/16 and they now told me it would be 5/22.

This company pulls bait and switch. They claim to give refunds that were never given. They make unauthorized charges to credit cards. They should be shut down.
