Stay away from this company! If you are expecting a nice bouquet to arrive on time- FORGET IT!!! This is year number 2 that they've shipped via UPS. So, if you are sending an item for a birthday, it won't get there until the day is OVER!!! Customer service is horrible. I don't even want to give them a star at ALL. Thanks FTD. Another ruined birthday!!!

I specifically used FTD to send funeral Arrangement flowers 3 days prior to the funeral. I paid extra for shipping. The night before the service FTD notified me that there was no way they could complete the delivery and there was no other florist in the area that could complete the delivery and they were sorry and could give me a refund which would credit my account in 7 days. Stay away from this place unless you just want problems.

I ordered up flowers to be delivered same day, paid Same Day pricing and they didn't get delivery until the next day. Well that's not the same as the same day because it was their birthday and they didn't receive them on time. On top of that I didn't get notified of that situation until the next day. Not even giving me the option to call a local florist and have the problem fixed. They were very deceiving in that and didn't contact me to give me a choice.

This company allowed someone to make purchases with my stolen card info and is giving my bank a hard time and won't return my money. They say they deliver flowers. Ok so where were two flowers ordered with my card sent to. They have info that could help me figure out who is stealing from me. I'll give them 'til 14th to return my money then I'm filing a complaint.

I have used FTD in the past and have been satisfied with their service. It has been a while since I used their services, and I decided to use them last week. I found out within hours of placing the online order that I had to change the address of the person I was sending the flowers to as they had just been transferred to a hospice facility. When I called the FTD 800 number the saga began, and it slowly began to dawn on me throughout this experience that it was possible this company had outsourced to another country.
All three different women representatives I spoke to throughout my dealings with them (I detail my experience below) had such pronounced accents that I had to keep asking them to repeat what they said. I never was able to speak with another representative without the same identical heavy accent. In the background there was so much noise of other people talking that I also had trouble hearing on top of struggling with the accent. Evidently, I did something wrong on the billing/delivery address and fixing it took a monumental effort on my part.
I was told that I needed to pay a $10 rerouting fee because of changing the delivery address even though I had just placed the order just a few hours previously and because of my frustration in just trying to speak with them I agreed because I just wanted to get it all over with. Before I hung up with them I made them repeat the new address several times and was reassured the flowers would be going to the new changed address.
I got an email from UPS the next morning showing it was still going to the wrong address. This experience was starting to feel surreal. I had to call again to ask them to change it. I was frustrated beyond belief when I had to address the same billing/delivery address mistake again because they said it had been fixed on my initial call. They had to keep using military words the two times I called so they could spell the addresses and names correctly, and this was done multiple times during each call. When I checked the tracking number from UPS I was relieved and honestly surprised to see it had arrived on time to the correct address.
I found out the next day they had charged me twice for the $10 rerouting fee, but I was so done with them at that point I didn't care to get the extra $10 fee refunded to me. I was happy before because I was under the impression that FTD used local floral businesses for their services, and I wanted to keep using local American businesses, but now that it seems they've outsourced to people with very broken English and just the simplest of problems can't be solved without incredible difficulty, I will not be using this company again.
Another reason (as if the above isn't enough) I will not be using this company again is when I placed the order online I wasn't shown the delivery service fee until I had already put in my payment information. The flowers were $39.99 and the service fee was $17.99! Really?? This fee on top of the two rerouting fees gave a grand total of $77.98. No words... I have no problem speaking to competent representatives with an accent but this was way over the top and such a shame.

Everything was fine until time to checkout. The site does not keep a running total for you throughout the process. So, once you've entered your payment information, it finally shows your total which includes a "service fee" of almost the total amount of your order!!! By this time it's already processed and thanking you for your order so enjoy the gift you just got gouged on!

One of my worst online experiences. Not only the delivery is done one day late, they lied saying that there was an attempt to deliver on time but no one was home. When an 80 years old guy do a surgery the night before and having an army of caregivers, where he will go the next day of the surgery??? Shopping!!! Also, the card was poorly written with chicken scratches as it was described to me and it took the pharmacist on the family to come and read it as is it was written from a doctor as a prescription. They charged 17$ for a service that doesn't deserve a pack of gum to **... It is horrible service and I want a whole refund to my money.

This company took my order and assured me that the flowers would be delivered to the funeral home on time. They were not and the customer representative lied and said the funeral home gave different instructions. But I had the funeral home on the call with me and they confirmed that what FTD was saying was a lie. This company is a nightmare. Will NEVER use them again.

Initially, had a problem with getting the bouquet we ordered for our sister in Punta Gorda, **. Florist (Peachy Keen Bouquet) delivered a substitute bouquet that we were not pleased with. But on Monday 10/23 she finally did get the original one we ordered. She loved it and we are very pleased that FTD Florists worked with us to bring this to a happy ending! Thank you very much.

My sisters and I ordered Peachy Keen bouquet for my sister after she had a knee replacement surgery. The wrong flowers were sent to her in Punta Gorda, FL. We called FTD 3 times to complain and each time they said they would sent the correct flowers. They didn't comply 3 times. We paid $88 for a junky, cheap bouquet that looked to cost $30. I think they are scamming their customers and we will never, never use their service again. I have talked to other people and they had the same experience. Thank you.

The sender forwarded the FTD survey to me (the recipient). It was a pleasant surprise for me when I opened the door to see flowers on my doorstep. I would have been happier if the driver would have rang the bell (as I was home the whole day). Note: The vase was narrow at the bottom and wider at the top; it was placed in a small cardboard box, but it was not well padded or secured - so when I lifted the box, the vase almost tipped over! There was no water in the vase, nor were there any accompanying instructions. The flowers were very very very open - and the following day the petals began to droop and fall! I have never been so dissatisfied with an FTD order. In the past, I've enjoyed FTD flower arrangements for a week or more - these barely lasted one day!
By the way, the attached greeting card was very wet. Is it possible that the vase had tipped and lost its water during transportation? I know that the sender had used FTD in the past and I had always been highly satisfied. This time it was indeed a bad experience! I trust that you will comply with the seven-day satisfaction guarantee. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am a customer of United Airlines and I am always buying in some stores with the purpose of earning miles. As FTD.com that Flowers sells was inside the United website and at Easter it was offering more than 1,000 miles when buying a ship to put on the dinner table. I paid for an $80 ship and it was a disappointment: small and many flowers, I did not complain because I thought I would win the miles, 6 months have passed and no mile received. And a disrespect with the consumer, you should want an indemnity for moral damages.

I received an arrangement containing roses and alstroemeria on Sept. 25th 2017. By the next day the roses had started to wilt and two days later all of them had to be thrown out. I sent an email to customer service and on the 27th of Sept. I received an automated response saying that I would hear from them as soon as possible. Today is Oct. 16 and still no response. I hate to tell the person that sent the flowers and make them feel bad but it is becoming clear that they may get a quicker response than I have.

I've never been so unsatisfied with any company's customer service than FTD. I ordered a gorgeous arrangement for my bridal flowers back in July. I scheduled them to be delivered the day before as recommended by customer service. Come 4 pm we had to leave for our rehearsal and dinner. I left a note for the delivery person to bring them to my neighbor. Come 630 my neighbor told me they still had not come. We immediately called FTD who said the florist tried calling my number which they said was "disconnected". The number was verified as being the same as "the same number I'm calling from". My phone never rang all day. I explained that I needed those flowers immediately and they would not even connect me to the florist to verify any information. They took my husband's number as an alternative and said they would call the florist.
We made arrangements to have them urgently delivered to my venue. No flowers ever showed and no contact was made by either FTD or the anonymous florist. The day of my wedding, a busy day where I have limited phone access, I got an email my order was totally cancelled. I'm so thankful for 1800flowers whose florist called me to verify all my information and to see that I would be home for delivery. And thankfully the craft store was still open for another half hour, I had JUST ENOUGH time for my bridesmaid and I to run out and make an artificial bouquet for me. I absolutely will never recommend this site, and neither will any of my guests who were all told the horror story. I'm only giving one star because I was given a full refund and a free similar arrangement because I was so desperately looking forward to those beautiful flowers. STICK TO 1800FLOWERS!

This company has screwed up my order almost every single time. I am finished. They ruined my anniversary which I made sure to place the order 3 days prior and they promised delivery. I called 5 times the day of, speaking to people that barely spoke English and couldn't give me a straight answer. But still they promised a "by 5 pm delivery." 5:30 comes around and no delivery and all they had to say was they would upgrade the bouquet free of charge and deliver the next day. Or refund the whole order and not deliver at all. I am livid and they have permanently lost a customer. Disgusting business acumen and customer service.

I placed an order, they guaranteed delivery. The day AFTER the delivery was supposed to happen, I received an email at 4:37 am that it didn't happen and to call them. The only reason I got the messages is because I went to the website and requested a status. This has now happened a couple of times over the last 2 years. I am done. No more FTD. I want to actually be able to call and talk to a person that has some level of accountability. There is none here. Basically, if you use them you have to put up with their crappy service and there is no accountability.

I NEVER leave reviews, but this just irritated me to the brink of writing about it to let others know to steer clear of this company. Once a year my husband buys me last minute flowers for our anniversary. So, you can imagine that when our anniversary came and went without them delivering the flowers we were both rather annoyed. They give you no tracking number to start and tell you nothing about your delivering being late. We received an email saying that they changed the order so they could deliver it to us in a timely manner.
Well, two days later I called and they weren't even close to sending it out. But that's ok because they offered 4 dollars back for the "next day" delivery fee that they weren't able to fulfill. Needless to say I went kinda postal on them but they don't seem to understand that delivery time is one of the most important things in their business. If they can't make the time people pay for then they need to be able to communicate that to the customer! But we heard nothing from them until two days after because we contacted them. Seriously if you are looking for something reliable and well worth the money then 1-800 Flowers or ProFlowers are the way to go... I would steer clear of FTD unless you have no expectations for time!

My boyfriend sent me a gift of 2 dozen roses and a dozen chocolate covered strawberries. I received them Sept 1, 2017. The roses didn't include flower food which was stated on instructions that it was. I followed the care instructions and they still died within a week... Didn't even fully open up. The strawberries were mushy and soft on the bottom, not very edible. I sent a email to them and haven't heard one word back from them. I'm very disappointed. This was for my 50th birthday and my boyfriend spent good money for basically nothing.

I ordered flowers to be delivered on our daughter’s birthday. She has two small children and her husband was traveling out of the country, since we couldn't be there to celebrate with her I wanted her day to be special. I called her around 2:45 Central time and inquired whether they had arrived, they hadn't so I sent a message to FTD and received feedback they would email me when they knew they were delivered. At 4:45 p.m. Central time I had heard nothing so I called. They put me on hold and called the florist who claimed they had tried to deliver them and left a note in the door, they claimed they had also tried to call the recipient and left a message.
Our daughter went to her door and found a note saying she could pick up the flowers. She was home at the time of delivery attempt and has never received any calls or messages. I paid good money and a delivery fee for poor service. FTD refused to disclose the florist name to me as a purchaser so I could deal with the local company. I will not be using this organization again, they don't follow through and charge ridiculous rates for poor service. You might also think twice about using Dillon's Florist in Wichita Kansas.

We ordered a bouquet of flowers to be delivered on 8/29/2017 in commemoration of my Dad's 1st year death anniversary. We wanted to cheer mom up. I called at 5:45 pm after learning that flowers had not been received. I was told by the FTD agent that they were delivered after being put on hold and checking with the florist. I called a second time after contacting my mom and learning that she hadn't received the flowers. The second agent informed me that the florist failed to print the order and offered to deliver the flowers the next day.
I expressed my disappointment and informed her of the reason for the flowers. I asked to have the flowers delivered for free but she laughed and offered a discount. Her supervisor was WORSE. He WAS SO RUDE AND CONDESCENDING. He asked me if I will expect free service or goods if the item was late. WHAT A DISGRACE TO THE COMPANY. I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM FTD AGAIN. He spoke to me like I was beneath him. We cancelled the order.

Very full and luxurious flower bouquets are illustrated on the website. Unless you pay for the highest price shown, that is not what you receive. And even then you can have fewer flowers than shown. However, freshness is fairly good with the flowers lasting a little over a week.

The worst purchase I have ever made online hands down. I ordered a lavender floral arrangement that includes a purple vase, chose the BEST option so it would arrive with a nicely filled mixture of flowers as depicted on the website. But what my wife got delivered was FAR from what I ordered online! It honestly looks like a bouquet of flowers you can buy at your local grocery store for $9.99 and it came in a CLEAR VASE not the purple vase it was marketed as an included piece with the order. How does FTD.com allow these florists to conduct business on their behalf and carry the FTD.com name? I think the bulk of the problem nowadays with this business is the lack of pressure they put on these third party florists whom have the responsibility to accept, review, create and deliver orders without having to be subject to an evaluation or quality control from FTD.com as to ensure customers are receiving what they paid for.
It was our 10th anniversary and instead of getting a loaded beautiful lavender mixed floral arrangement w/ purple vase, she literally received the worst flowers a husband could get his wife for a special occasion. I thi4nk it would have been less troublesome or painful if she never got any flowers from me! This is absolutely unacceptable! I contacted customer service immediately and demanded a full refund because what my wife received was not what I purchased. I am entitled to a full refund! But their slogan "don't love it? we will make it right" is deceiving and to me it feels like false advertising! How do you make it right after you learn one of your florists delivered something that did not match the item description?
So what a supervisor did next seriously made me more angry... I was offered $25 certificate for a future purchase!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS??? Do you expect me to make another purchase from FTD.com??? Never in my life will I order from you again, so why are you offering me something I will never use? This is not making it right. If you want to make it right, offer me to have an even better floral arrangement delivered ASAP (a day after the anniversary), apologize to my wife for your mistake and try to make it sincere. This to me is making it right and not a ** $25 certificate for a future purchase. I am trying to get the CEO (Mr. Walden) to learn about this and all the other thousands of misfortunate incidents that derived from such poor quality control management and customer service. If anyone knows any contact info other than his twitter account, please DM me and hopefully this will get to the top.

My experience with FTD was remarkably pleasant. Admittedly, I was concerned given the number of poor reviews, but I decided to give them a chance anyway. My order consisted of 8 bouquets that were set to arrive four days after I had purchased them. My one negative remark would be that only 7 arrived on time, so I could not use the last one for my intended purpose. The others arrived within the time frame I had set for them, and they looked fantastic! There was little to no wilting, they all smelled like they had been hand-picked that morning, and they matched up pretty well with the pictures online. I cannot vouch how the flowers are during other points of the year, but in the Summer, they are excellent. Couple that with the fact that free vases are thrown in with almost every order, and you have yourself a romantic treat for anyone to enjoy.

I recently purchased a Groupon for a discount on flowers ordered on FTD.com because a friend had unexpected surgery and I wanted to do something nice... Since I paid with Paypal and I was in a hurry I paid full price for her order rather than use the Groupon because it was still being "processed" and I was in a hurry. The order was delivered on time and as far as I know the flowers were nice (I never saw them but my friend sent a very lovely thank you note). I attempted to use the Groupon a few weeks later to send flowers to a friend for her birthday. After I placed the order I called customer service department to confirm they could deliver the order by noon as the flowers were going to a business and the person would only be there until 2pm. They could not guarantee delivery so I canceled the order.
I then called back and spoke to the order department to see if they could guarantee delivery for an additional expediting fee. The Rep I spoke to said they would be able guarantee deliver by noon. I advised I did not want to place the order if they could not, again he said they could so I place a full priced order (no Groupon as the refund had not yet been processed from the earlier order cancellation). I called twice on the scheduled date to confirm delivery... I was put on hold and told they called the florist but could not confirm delivery and they would notify me once delivered, but they could not confirm if I would be notified that day or the next. Nor were they willing to give me contact information for the local florist so that I could try to reach them direct for information.
They did not make the delivery by the time the person got off work nearly two hours after the scheduled delivery time. I was able to cancel the order, but was very sad that the flowers were not delivered as I know it would have made her feel very special on her birthday. Had they just been honest about not being able to deliver the flowers I could have just called a local florist direct and made arrangements for a guaranteed delivery.

Almost a week ago I purchased (or at least thought I purchased) flowers for a funeral that took place last Friday. After spending 20-30 minutes on the phone and providing all of the funeral home info, deceased person's name, what the personal card was to read, along with my own personal billing information, I found out Friday that my flowers were never sent by FTD!
Profoundly disappointed I called FTD that night. None of the information I gave them INCLUDING my credit card was on file. Whoever I had given my order to hadn't processed it. And because they have call centers worldwide there's no way of knowing who the responsible person at FTD was. My confirmation number should have come in an email, but I didn't get that either. Without a confirmation number they can't track the order. They tried using my name, phone number, funeral home information, the deceased person's name and nothing showed up. The guy took all that information and never placed the order. Who does that Jeez.
Even in a time of grief, I suppose none of us should let our guard down. So, worried about the credit card I had used, tonight I called and cancelled the credit card because I was worried about the whole transaction, or lack thereof. I used the 1-800-736-3383 number that is on the FTD website. What a HUGE disappointment. I hope no one else has trouble like this with FTD. You think you're getting a well-known company, but maybe not. There are no do-overs for this.

I ordered flowers from FTD.com for my mother's birthday this year to be delivered on 15 June (date of my mother's birthday). The flowers were not delivered as scheduled. I received a vaguely worded notification from FTD on 18 June. There was no explanation as to why the delivery was not made and I was asked to reschedule the order. I have no intention of using FTD in the future and I encourage others to use more other companies.

I reside in NJ, USA. My mother lives in Ireland and I wanted to send her a beautiful bouquet of flowers as she is very sick at the moment. The bouquet that was delivered looked nothing like the picture I was hoping for. The picture on the website looks so beautiful and deluxe!! The bouquet my mother received is only worth $25 at the most. FTD charged $52.99 for the flowers. Plus an additional service fee of $27.99. My Visa card was charged a total of $80.98. I could have gone to my local ALDI grocery store for a more lavish and deluxe version (they have the most beautiful flower arrangements for $20) of the white flowers my poor sick mother had delivered to her today in Ireland.
SHAME ON YOU FTD!!! I will never order anything from you ever again if you don't make this right!! Oh! What's with your motto "Love it or we'll make it right!!!" Huh??? What a joke! Do the right thing and make your upset customers feel better by doing the right thing. Hoping for a positive and swift outcome from you. You can make this right!! Practice what you preach!! "Love it or we'll make it right" I think ye got it wrong. Should be more like "Don't love it!! Well we will make it right".

Ordered flowers 2 weeks prior to my wife and I 9th anniversary. Selected what I thought was a nice arrangement to be delivered to her work on our 9th. If you are delivering to a business location that absolute last delivery time should be 2 pm. So they can enjoy them for a couple hours before having to leave for the day. 2 pm rolls around on the day of. I hadn't heard anything from my wife which she would call or text me immediately. So I called FTD and spoke to "Ann" from India. They said they would check with the "vendor" and get back with me. After sitting on hold for about 7 minutes, they came back to tell me that they are out for delivery and that there is nothing they can do to find out when they will be delivered. I called back 2 more times similarly as before until 3:30 pm stressing that my wife leaves work at 4 pm. They ensured me they would get there on time. Around 4:15 my wife calls me on her way home as she always does.
NO FLOWERS ever got to her. I called back immediately to cancel/demand a refund. Not even that is enough after having my wife go through our anniversary like I forgot. They said, "Okay we will refund your money in 3-5 days", yet they never apologized or anything. Totally did not care, they did say I would receive an email stating the cancellation and refund immediately. I never received an email. I did receive an email about an hour later stating of delivery confirmation. My wife went in the next day thinking they would be there. But NO flowers. She checked with reception as well asking if a delivery came the day before and they said no deliveries came after 1 pm that day. What a "crock of **" FTD. Thanks for ruining our anniversary and making me look like a terrible husband and for my wife to feel hurt that she was forgotten. And yet I still have not seen a refund. Will never order from FTD again.

I live two states away from my parents. I ordered flowers for their 50th Anniversary to be sent yesterday. They were not delivered. I called last night and customer service said they would start calling first thing this morning. I call back this morning and no one had tried to even call. After staying on the line for 4 different representatives while they call the florist, all they got was a voicemail for whatever florist they were using. I should have checked the reviews for this company before using them.
My advice... NEVER order from FTD.com. They will give you the "run around" and you will waste your time and energy trying to get them to rectify the problem. I am extra upset since it is not everyday someone has a 50th Anniversary! I was also told they could not tell me which florist they were dealing with. Wouldn't the recipient know who the florist was when they received the flowers? So why keep that private? I have never dealt with any company this incompetent!

I explain to the operator the situation and she says that the florist has been contacted with the updated address. Relieved, I took it for granted that all had been resolved. Monday they delivered it to her job. We were not notified. We waited at home most of the day until one of my wife's co-workers saw the flowers at the front desk. I had ordered flowers via FTD.ca for my older sister's 40th birthday because I could not be there to physically celebrate with her. I wanted to do something special for her, and sent her flowers using ftd.ca. I chose a bouquet that I liked, placed the order, and paid $107 USD dollars. When my sister received the flowers, they looked pathetic and nothing at all like the picture. There were a lack of roses which the picture had a lot of, the lilies did not smell, and it was not the "better" option that I had chosen. Half the flowers had broken stems and broken flowers, and brown leaves by the next day, and did not last more than 1 day. What a disappointment.
I definitely will never ever order from ftd.ca again. In addition, when I called ftd.ca, they said they would call the vendor, and re-send the flowers at no charge. I did not want another ugly bouquet sent again and wanted a refund which they did not give, so I wasted hard earned money for nothing. In addition, the flower vendor wanted emailed pictures of proof that they were pathetic looking as the claim was that they delivered the flowers as a full bunch - totally not true. The pictures were emailed to the company, but no follow up or phone call, and not even an acknowledgement that the email was received nor any refund of any kind.

Apparently it was too late to order flowers and the choices for what I could get delivered was limited and expensive. Nonetheless I procrastinated so I was willing to pay for it; $79.00 for some chocolate covered strawberries. The order went through and I was content that I had something for my 101 year old grandmother to enjoy for Mother's Day. Well, the next day I checked my email and I received an email from FTD saying they could not "despite their best efforts fill my order and a full refund would be submitted". This was so untimely that I could not order anything in time to arrive on time and the fact that FTD took the order with no issues. Under the circumstances an apology and a refund are not acceptable. I had awful experience with FTD. They are absolute scam and their customer service is ridiculous. I purchased flowers and they offered add-ons with the purchase and I paid additional $20 for a box of chocolate (no specific brand, just said chocolate) to be delivered for the mother's day. They delivered the flowers (not the freshest flowers) without the chocolate. I don't know how many people actually ask the recipient about how many gifts exactly they received but I happened to ask my mom and realized they had only delivered the flowers! So I called customer service and was very disappointed and the person on the phone, after holding me on the call to contact their florist, promised the chocolate to be delivered next day (which was May 14 and the actual mother's day). I spoke with my mom on Monday May 15th (day after Mother's Day) and realized there was no chocolate and no communications from FTD!
So I called again and the person in customer service kept apologizing. I asked for their supervisor or the actual florist's contact information and the customer service person kept apologizing and not letting me speak with a supervisor nor provided the florist contact info. She kept promising that the chocolate will be delivered tomorrow but when I asked her to send confirmation email indicating the chocolate will be delivered tomorrow, she said she had to hear back from their florist before sending the email confirmation! So I don't know what kind of promise that was?
I decided to stay on the call for as long as it took and finally after close to 2 hours I got connected to a supervisor who offered me a $31 credit back to my card. But honestly, how many people will realize that their add-ons were not delivered? How many people get to ask the recipient if they have received all the items? How many people have the time to call customer service and stay on the call for long time? This is absolute scam and theft to get people pay for something and not deliver it. I like to know how many people have had this experience? Why is this company still in business?

I am not one to write reviews, but am so motivated by my sheer anger & frustration with this company that I am. Long story short, I order flowers for Mother's Day to be delivered on 5/13/17. The delivery driver left them by her mailbox (She lives off a main road, so essentially they were left on the side of the road), and they were stolen. When I called to inform and report the driver, I was told that I would be refunded & the flowers would be re-delivered to my mother's door on 5/16, and they would call my mom and give her an apology. They never arrived, she never got a call.
I called to get an ETA, and was told that they weren't re-delivered because I was refunded... What?? That is not what was promised. I asked for the call to be escalated, spoke to a supervisor who only said "I'm confirming with you that we will not be delivering", and then said she would transfer me to a manager. Was on hold for 31 minutes before finally hanging up and began to write this review. ALSO! Their call center is definitely outsourced overseas as it is very hard to understand anything that is being said. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! UNTRUSTWORTHY!!

I wanted to express how deeply disappointed I am with the service I received. In the past, for online orders, I have tried 1800flowers.com and proflowers.com, none of which is worth even trying again. I expected better from FTD.com given the history of the company. This order for my daughter was to be from her 5 year old son for mother's day... Something to have on her desk at work for at least a few minutes. This order was sent to a BANK... Being a business, and a bank, you would think that an effort would be made to deliver it earlier in the day rather than later. The business closes at 5:00, she left at 5:05 with NO flowers being delivered.
I promptly call and requested a refund which was granted. I ALSO asked to speak to someone in the United States as those in the Philippines are VERY HARD TO UNDERSTAND... I was not done complaining and wanted someone other than a script reading operator that might care a little. At that time I was told I could not be transferred to a customer service person in the States because they were not answering. I was told I would receive a call back, AND I NEVER RECEIVED ONE! Now, with no flowers for my daughter, I had to find another florist that could deliver her some flowers to her house on Saturday the 13th. Do you know how hard that was? Most were already booked for Saturday. Finally, Saturday morning, I found one, but the flower selection was not great because most of their flowers were well picked through.
Just like 1800flowers.com and proflowers.com, this experience with FTD.com was a disaster. I'll probably never visit their website again. Fast forward to Monday morning (after Mother's Day): They delivered the flowers to her at work, with dead roses and lilies missing petals. Wow... They were in a hot car Friday afternoon... When they couldn't be delivered, they went back to the florist for the weekend (Were they placed in a cooler during that time?)... Then back into a hot car for Monday delivery. At no time did they even refresh the flowers. It's a good thing I got a refund.

I live out of state and in so decided to take a chance ordering Mother's Day flowers from a company that has been in business for a very long time. Well I have learned that many US business today survive on the reputation of years ago. This does NOT mean they care about quality or service hence by disinterest in purchasing even an American car! Well FTD is NOT different. As soon as your hard earned money is exchanged their automated system confirms your order then reaches out to the cheapest local florist in the area you want a delivery in and hands off the responsibility or lack thereof of arranging and delivery the flowers to your loved one.
So I ordered a nice arrangement to be send to my mother in S. Florida. The day I received a confirmation the flowers were delivered I usually will get a call from her with a thank and so on. NO call. Nothing so I call her only to find out the flower arrangement was withered! Yes folks FTD's cronies could have cared less about the quality and freshness of the arrange and on Mother's Day!! I called and complained only to get a foreigner reading a script telling me they would redeliver a fresh arrangement then 10 minutes later a different Filipino calls and tells me they cannot do this! I mean talk about adding heat to the flame.
I was finally refunded my money and will NEVER recommend FTD to anyone. Companies like this one should be held to higher standards and or put out of business!! A lot of companies in the US are only here to serve their wealthy investors by hiring the cheapest labor with ZERO concern for the end users. It's sad and pathetic and YOU deserve more for your money!!!

I want to warn all consumers that think about using FTD.com. STOP DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I order flowers for my 80-year old mother for Mother's Day. I placed the order a week in advance and asked to have them delivered Friday before Mother's Day. The flowers I picked were called "The Sweet Surprises". They consist of Roses, Carnations, and Daisies. They are not exotic flowers. I never received a call nor email indicating they could not deliver the flowers. Friday evening I checked the order and it showed was not delivered.
I called their customer service (which they had a difficult time understanding English). I was first told they could not deliver that day that they would delivery on Saturday. I asked them to send me a confirmation email indicating delivery was changed. I also asked to refund some of my shipping charge considering they did not deliver on the day I indicated. They said they could not do this and that they would send me a coupon for my next order. Asked to speak to a supervisor they kept telling me the supervisor was engaged in another call. They were going to email me the confirmation as soon as we hung up. I waited 10 minutes no email. Called back, the second person stated they can't deliver until Tuesday (after Mother's Day). I told them, "No I requested Friday" which was today.
They kept telling me they could not deliver today not until Tuesday. Asked to speak to a supervisor again was told they are engaged in another call and could not speak to me. I told them I wanted them delivered no later than tomorrow (Saturday), they said they would and would send an email confirming. I then told them if I do not receive an email within 10 minutes I would call back. I waited. No confirmation email. Called back. Spoke to a third person and asked again. Had to go through the entire situation. They said those flowers were not available until Tuesday so they could not deliver, but they can change the flowers and make a different arrangement. I told them "no". I already knew what that meant they would put some cheap looking arrangement together and would not be close to what I ordered. I asked why they did not contact me early enough so I can cancel my order and go elsewhere. They told me ok we will cancel your order.
I told them that is not what I said. I want to know why you did not contact me and I had to contact you to find out my order will not be delivered on the day I requested and will not be the flowers I ordered. And supposedly if I want to wait until after Mother's Day it would not be a guarantee that they would even have the flowers I ordered. The flowers consisted of Pink Roses, Pink and Red Carnations and White Daisies. I asked to speak to a supervisor and again was told they are engaged in another call. I left my phone number for the supervisor and was told they would call back after that stopped engaging in a phone call.
I had spent 2-1/2 hours back and forth on the phone Friday evening. I hung up and called back Saturday morning hoping I would get a person that understood English. I called 5 separate times, they kept placing me on hold for over 15 minutes and not coming back on the line. I asked several times for the supervisor to call. Left my number multiple times. The last time I told them I want to cancel the order completely, they said, "OK". I asked for a confirmation email. They said, "OK".
I never received an email, I called back and asked if the order was cancelled. They said, "Yes." I asked when I can expect the money back in my account. They told me I placed the order they cannot refund the money. I only received an email indicating the order was cancelled and nothing that I will receive a refund. I am now going through my bank to have them go after FTD for the refund. I will never order through FTD, and if I ever order any flowers again I will check reviews before considering placing orders.

I ordered bouquets to be delivered for Mother's Day to my grandmother. I ordered them to be delivered on the Saturday before and paid a hefty premium for this service. As I tracked the package, I became very disappointed to learn that the package did not arrive on Saturday. This left my grandmother without receiving her present for Mother's Day. When I called FTD, I had a horrible time trying to get a customer service person on the line that I could understand. I am hard of hearing and have a very difficult time understanding accents, especially on the phone. I explained this and all that happened was that the customer service person repeated what I said back. This kept happening.
Apparently this is their customer service model, repeat for confirmation. It becomes extremely frustrating to have someone repeat back to you that you can't understand them and then they continue to talk. This happens with a number of different reps. Since the reps wouldn't transfer me to someone who spoke English I got disconnected a number of times before I lost my mind and they finally put me on with someone who speaks English. This person was of very little help as well. She assured me she was a manager, but she kept repeating herself and talking in circles. I explained to her that I work hard for my money. Paying a premium for a Saturday delivery is a very expensive decision. I could have paid 1/2 the price for it to be delivered on Monday, but I didn't. She said, it has already been delivered.
When I explained that they needed to refund my money for delivery she said, "we will upgrade the bouquet." I said "how, you just told me it was delivered?!" And then this manager just kept talking in circles until I explained to said manager that I wanted to be refunded or I would calling my credit card to stop payment. I should. Then with some searching I found the local flower shop they sent the order to and they had not received any calls or messages from FTD. It is all a lie and scam. Luckily the local flower shop is delivering the flowers today, but with no help from FTD. I had to do all the work myself. But they can do nothing, apparently, absolutely nothing. I asked to speak with a manager, and the employee said if the manager was free after a current call he was on, he'd call me back. I said, "You mean when", but he didn't understand the difference. Ugh! NEVER AGAIN!!

Never Right - I have ordered from FTD in the past and the one time I did, they substituted a beautiful plant for a horrible one. It is so disappointing to have your recipient send you a picture of what they received and it is completely different from what you carefully picked out. It's very time consuming picking the best arrangement so to know I just basically wasted my time sucked. I ordered again for my boyfriend's mother in advance for mother's day 2017 and again they EMAILED me on mother's day that the arrangement was not available. Good thing I read my email. So anyways, I call and they say there are no substitutions available, so basically I was SOL. Whelp time was running out so instead of arguing, I just told them to issue a refund. I went over to 1800Flowers website and ordered with ease. DO NOT USE FTD!!! And they also charge $25 service fee!! 1800Flowers was so much more reasonable priced.

I was looking forward to having my mother receive her flowers on Mother's Day. She lives far away from me and it means very much to her to receive flowers from me. Even though I ordered the flowers way in advance, they contacted me a couple times saying that the flowers were unavailable and that they would issue a refund and a measly $10 coupon for my next purchase. When I spoke with them, they reassured me that they would send the flowers regardless and that never happened. I did not want neither a refund nor a coupon, I wanted for my mother to know that I love her even if I am far away. How can they put a price on this? I've been using them for 10 years and will NEVER use them again. They should be ashamed and punished for such unprofessional service.

I am very disappointed with the service I received. I purchased Mother's Day flowers to be delivered on Friday, May 12, 2017. It was supposed to be a surprise. When I arrived home I saw a tag on the door stating that they missed us (although my wife and daughter were at home) and that we needed to give a call to a phone number. I must have called the phone number provided and the phone number I found on the local shop's phone number, both (maybe 10 times were) giving me busy or service not available signal. No email possibility nor any way to message. In what age are we living in? I called FTD and was disconnected on both calls, one call after I gave all my information and second time without anyone on the phone.
Anyway I decided to go to the store to pick it up. (Surprise is ruined by the time.) While I drove to downtown and parked, my wife called and let me know the flower was delivered. Angry, I returned home and saw the flower. This was not what I paid for? They charged a higher rate yet delivered the quality of the cheapest version. This is a ripoff. Please look elsewhere.

I usually don't write reviews like this but buyers, please beware of FTD! I ordered my mom and nana flowers for Mother's Day on there. My mom's bouquet was delivered fine and made by a local florist. The roses I ordered for my nana were coming straight from FTD and getting shipped to her house. I ordered them on Monday to be delivered by Friday, which I thought was plenty of time.
Well, I wake up Friday and see that they were only shipped that day. I'm not feeling optimistic and lo and behold, FTD starts calling me. I pick up and a CSR tells me they can't deliver these flowers today, and is it okay if they deliver them next week. I immediately say, "No, they're for Mother's Day." The sickeningly sweet CSR tells me that they absolutely cannot get these roses to her by the weekend. (Have they ever heard of overnight shipping?) But after I get frustrated, she puts me on hold to see if a local florist can make a bouquet for a Saturday delivery, which I think is a fair compromise.
After telling me time and time again that she's having computer problems, she asks if she can call me back in 15 minutes. I agree and she calls me back, telling me a local florist can do a similar, new bouquet that has roses and other flowers. I agree again, not really sure what else to do to ensure that my nana will be receiving some flowers. She also specifies MULTIPLE times that I will not be charged any additional money for this bouquet. Multiple times. I ask for an email confirmation of this (that never arrives, mind you) and we hang up.
After coming home from work, I decide to check my statement balance and wouldn't you know there's a new $45 FTD charge on my account for this new order. By this point, I'm LIVID and have been outright lied to by this company. I immediately call their Customer Service number and talk to a woman who could barely understand me and vice-versa. She's very sweet, and I apologize for getting frustrated with her, but after I explain the situation, she tells me they can't offer me a refund for this "new order." WHAT? I explain over and over that it's not my fault FTD couldn't get my original order delivered on time, and why would they charge me for their error?
She offers me a $25 gift card and by that point, I'm so livid so I decide to cancel the whole order. And then she wasn't going to cancel and refund my original money for the original order too!!! Absolutely unreal. I'm waiting to see if the refund actually happens. I received refund emails, but my bank statement says otherwise. Cannot believe they can get away with being so scummy. And ironically enough, this happened right after I paid for a year membership, which I plan to not ever use again. Good riddance, FTD.

Ordered online, 20 stems of 2 different types of purple orchids in a special 'Vera Wang' vase for Mother's Day to be delivered early on Friday. They got the delivery date correct but that's all they got right. Paid over $100 but what was delivered were 8 stems (6 purple, 2 white) in a plain glass vase. Not worth even half of what I paid. I was completely shocked to see the photo my mom sent me. If FTD can't even fulfill the Vera Wang vase, why advertise the arrangement as a 'Vera Wang'?Total scam. I called FTD and got a person in the Philippines who had a bad headset so that combined with a horrible accent made it an extremely unpleasant experience and the issue was not resolved. I was assured however, by the representative that they would correct the problem and even get the correct vase delivered. They said I would receive an email to confirm when the delivery would occur. I got nothing. No email, no vase, nothing.
I ended up calling the local florist who delivered the original puny 8 stems and they claimed FTD told them my order was 10 stems and that they told FTD they didn't have the vase. I don't know who was lying, I'm guessing both. My sister ordered through FTD not too long ago and had the same local florist fill the order with the same result - the ugliest, smallest tulips you ever saw. Again not even worth half of what she paid.
In both of our cases, the local florist did pull through in the end- bigger, better, more tulips for my sister's order and the missing 12 orchid stems and nicer vase (still not Vera Wang though) for my order. I think everyone is just out to make money and will try to deliver a subpar product worth less than half the price paid so they make a huge profit. It's only when you catch them (and you need to ask the recipient what they received), and confront the florist who filled the order, then you'll get almost what you paid for. Don't bother calling FTD. What a waste of my time and money. Photos show what I ordered vs what was delivered.

Ordered a beautiful lavender spa gift basket for my overworked mom for Mother's Day. She loves lavender, I searched forever and found the perfect one. It was scheduled to be delivered today, but when she sent me a text photo of the gift it was some jenky I <3 Mom mug and something called a Stroopwafel or something. SO weird and not even close to what I ordered. I called customer service, expecting them to want to fix this right away. They informed me they were out of the item I ordered (conflicting accounts of whether it was ever actually available in the first place), and I could pick something to replace it... but they had nothing close to what I wanted. They kept pushing flowers, flowers, this lavender arrangement is the same thing! Um, flowers that die in a week aren't the same as a gift basket.
After 1 1/2 hours on the phone, me close to tears, after they tried to sell me on little spa products worth half as much to "replace" the basket and every flower arrangement under the sun, assuring me they "knew" my mom would like it just as much, I finally agreed to an arrangement of roses and a small spa gift. They refused to replace it with TWO items, so I could either get the tiny spa gift or a flower arrangement I DIDN'T WANT. Then they tried to CHARGE me for the difference in price for the flowers vs the basket I had chosen.
24 hours to go till Mother's Day, we scoured the site looking for ANYTHING she might like for that price, and came up empty. They refused to budge at ALL, to try to make up for their mistake, kept blowing off my questions about what happened, kept going silent for long periods of time, forcing me to yell "Hello??" over and over. I finally asked, "Is this seriously worth making this experience SO bad that you lose a repeat customer?" And the woman on the phone said that was fine. Now I'm in tears upset over missing out on a perfect gift for my amazing mother, sending her some whatever last minute crap instead, and furious. WHY? How does this help their business?? ProFlowers from here on out, and gift basket sites. Seriously. Too much competition for this crap.

Next I realized after painfully speaking to her and trying to explain that I'm speaking to a non-native English speaker and very likely in another COUNTRY! Especially since my second call was the same.
I placed 2 orders with them for Mother's Day. One for my mother and another for my mother-in-law. Both received starkly different arrangements than what was advertised or what they appeared to be on the site. My mother's arrangement had a cheap vase and the arrangement was something that would've cost 30$ anywhere else and they charged over $100 for this. My mom just complained at how pitiful the flowers were.
My mother-in-law's arrangement was a gardenia plant w/ a teddy and chocolates. The chocolates were not included with the order and there was only ONE flower on the plant, when the photo shows several flowers on the plant. How SAD FTD has become. I made sure to indicate how dissatisfied I was with their service in my survey. I need to remind myself to never order from FTD again and delete my account with them.

I did this twice, in hopes that two different states, many occasions apart, that results would've been different. I hope to help you save your money or find a different company to send flowers through. They advertise 3 or 4 different grades of bouquets, for increasingly higher prices. Last year, I sent flowers to my adult daughter for her birthday. I gave her up for adoption when she was born and I wanted to make a nice impression with a large bouquet. She lives in Arizona. She was grateful and sent me a picture and it was the cheapest bouquet with lots of the green filler not flowers. I called and complained and was given a refund of part of the purchase. They wanted to go pick them up and give the right bouquet to her.
Second chance my husband sent me the big bouquet (most expensive). I live in Colorado. They sent the cheapest looking small bouquet. They are a rip off. Follow up to original review - I contacted FTD regarding my order. I have improved my rating as a company representative did reach out to me, and in an effort to resolve my complaint refunded the arrangement for my cousin that was nothing like what I ordered, and sent two replacement arrangements as a good faith gesture given the circumstances surrounding why I ordered the flowers in the first place. I will say that FTD did respond to my direct complaints with them quickly and professionally, and refunded/replaced what I was not happy with without any additional cost to me. However, I am only giving three stars because while I am very satisfied with their customer service, the replacement arrangements were still as skimpy as the first order and of low quality. If FTD wants to retain business I believe they should investigate what happened with both of their suppliers and drop suppliers who fail to provide the same quality product as what they picture on their website. The flowers received, including the replacements, were just not the same quality of product that I paid for. I have used FTD several time before without complaint in other parts of the country, so it has to be these particular suppliers. I sent pictures of what I ordered along with pictures of what was sent to the Customer Service Representative, so I hope that some kind of action was taken with regards to the florist and farm that they use to service that area. I am not sure if I would order again given how important it was to me to have this order, out of all the orders I have ever placed with them, be correct.

A family member was having surgery on a Thursday. On the Sunday prior, I placed an order for two arrangements to be sent to the same address for Wednesday, one for her and one for her parents. The two arrangements I picked out were primarily pink because of the nature of her illness. On Monday, I received a call from FTD telling me that their florist could not fulfill the arrangement meant for her parents. I was told that I would have to pick something else, and that they would cancel the original arrangement and I would have to re-order my next choice.
I explained why I needed them sent at the same time and in a particular color scheme, and I asked if I could place an order through FTD for the replacement and then have the florist's info so that I could call them myself and make sure they could fulfill the order. I was told no, they are not allowed to give that information to me. I received an email indicating that the cancellation had been made and that a refund would be issued. I placed another order at FTD.com, which I believe was fulfilled by a different florist - "fresh from the farm", I believe the description said. I upgraded to a $49.99 arrangement to get the vase. Both arrangements were delivered today to a residence near Uniontown, PA. I have a picture of them.
Arrangement for the family member having surgery looks nothing like what I ordered. I understand that substitutions are allowed; this looks NOTHING like what I ordered. The one that I ordered was all different shades of pink. It was called "Sweet Surprises" - bright and vivid and young looking like the person it was sent to. What she got was almost entirely white, not the same ribbon, not the same vase, not the same flowers. I don't even think there were roses in it at all, from the picture I received. It looked like what I would have grabbed on the fly out of a hospital gift shop for my grandmother. Not even close. And this is the one the florist said that they COULD fulfill.
Second arrangement is done sort of with the same flowers that were pictured. "Dreamland Pink". It is nothing like the picture of the $49.99 arrangement, and in fact looks like someone took the $39.99 arrangement and cut it in half. In short, it sucks. Judging by the picture that I received, I could have picked something similar up at the local grocery store for about $15, and driven the four hours to PA and delivered it myself for less than what I paid for the one they got. Shame on you, FTD. That is called "bait and switch". Buyer beware, what is delivered could very easily not look anything close to what you ordered and most likely won't look anything like what you paid for. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

My relative who was at the funeral finally figured out who they were from by texting back-and-forth with another relative, but the funeral was nearly over by that time.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my sister for her birthday. Ordered an arrangement from a picture and description. While I understand at times certain flowers may have to be substituted, the arrangement that delivered was NOTHING like the picture. They charged a great deal of money and sent something that looked cheap. The response from the company was "We're sorry. We'll do better next time." There won't be a next time for me. It's a shame they don't take more pride in what they do. Evidently they're just out to make money and don't care about customer satisfaction.

This order was placed through FTD and delivered on 3/2/17 by a local florist. The bouquet that was delivered did NOT look like the one I paid for. Red carnations, pale roses and lavender flower did not look like the brightly colored bouquet I obviously overpaid for. And to top it all off, the BIRTHDAY bouquet was delivered with a GET WELL SOON balloon. I paid for a Happy Birthday balloon (it is a birthday bouquet) and the kicker...this was delivered to my mother in law, who unfortunately is sick. Yes, that's right. Someone delivered a GET WELL SOON bouquet to a woman with cancer on her birthday. How nice, right?
I immediately contacted FTD for a partial refund and redelivery of correct flowers and balloon. I then contacted the local store. 5 ATTEMPTS and no one answered. I decided that if you all don't answer your phones for customers, how will I know you got the message to redeliver? So I contacted FTD again to demand full refund and just forget about the redelivery. I was put on hold for almost 20 minutes and transferred around while waiting to speak with a supervisor. I finally called FTD again from my other phone line while I was still on hold. I was then told I could not get a refund unless the local florist picked the flowers back up from her or they could reach them for negotiation. Well, no surprise...they couldn't manage to get through either. I refuse to allow to allow them to take flowers that have already been delivered. I was offered delivery of the "correct balloon" so I guess I'll take what I can get.
There are no words for how upset, disappointed and angry I am. This is completely unacceptable. I have filed numerous complaints with FTD for their horrible customer service and suggested they rethink their contract with a florist that does not answer phones, fill correct flower orders or deliver appropriate balloons. Today was someone's birthday. Someone I love. Someone that has CANCER. And she got the wrong bouquet, with the wrong balloon. And I'm out $80 for a less than stellar gift.

My daughter's 30 birthday - had flowers delivered to her work (paid over 100.00). Attaching picture of what I thought I had ordered and photo my daughter sent me when she received them. I was so disappointed. Not wanting to spoil her day as she was grateful for anything she would get - I discretely called FTD customer service. They contacted their florist who replied that they sent exactly what was in the picture. They would not replace, but would pick them up and give me a refund. I immediately stated that "I do not want them picked up (it's her birthday), can we send her roses instead?" Thinking, how bad can you screw roses up? Well, as I was talking to the FTD agent my daughter was trying to call in.
After getting off the phone with FTD, I returned my daughter's call. As I was talking to the FTD agent the florist had returned to my daughter's work, made a big scene stating, "Your mother does not like the flowers, so we are picking them up". This happened in front of all her coworkers, on her birthday! So upsetting and embarrassing on her special day. I thought with FTD they had a guarantee you would get what is pictured. I paid extra for THE BEST to be sure it was nice. Had to make a shout out as I would hate others to experience the same fate. Unfortunately, we don't normally go to ConsumerAffairs until after a disappointment. Will not be using FTD again. Best to research on ** first, then go directly to the florist with great reviews. Then post your satisfaction. FTD will not disclose the florist they used so these partnered florists hide under the radar. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Well I have called and was on hold for over 2 hours and spoke to 2 different individuals with major language barrier. I WOULD NEVER ORDER from these people ever again, your best bet, contact a local florist! Save yourself the headache! Either way what they do is hire a local florist but upcharge you. I was very heartbroken on Valentine's Day. Today my husband of 18 years attempted to make me smile on Valentine's Day. He ordered roses which they promised would be on time by 5... They NEVER SHOWED. I wish that was the worst part... It then became a NIGHTMARE trying to obtain a refund or any explanation why. Call after call... we were bombarded with employees who either didn't speak English or weren't trained properly. At one point I had to beg the employee to speak with a manager... 15 minutes of ring around the rosy just to speak to a manager? I was just outdone...
My husband orders probably around 700 dollars worth of flowers for me each year... It saddened me to know that FTD 1800 flowers would be so unprofessional. He spent hours on the phone with them while they gave him the runaround, hung up, lied, and was just plain rude. I never in my life had such a hard time with a company. If I were you I would just support your local florist. Today has been the worst Valentine's Day of my life. My husband was embarrassed and it was an experience I will carry the rest of my life. I will still anticipate a refund but I truly had higher expectations of this company.

I don't recommend using FTD at all. When I place an order and they confirm the order and delivery to a business (open 9-5), I expect it will happen especially considering Valentine's day is an event I'm sure florists prepare for. I don't expect a phone call at almost 4 pm telling me it will not be delivered on Valentine's day but the day after! The time given to fix their mistake is not appreciated.

When I called and demanded to speak with a manager, I was on hold for 1 hour. They took my money, did not deliver flowers and did not provide a refund. I will be contacting BBB and every other consumer site. I was ROBBED by this piece of ** scam company. Not one to wish bad luck, but I wouldn't be mad if Karma intervened. The dumbest company ever. I ordered flowers from ftd.com. The flowers I ordered showed 18 red roses for $79.99. Only 12 were delivered. I called FTD and the customer service rep told me based on the order number, the order was only for 12 flowers. I told her that was false advertising. To rectify the problem, she offered to refund me 20% of the price that I paid for the flowers. I agreed to the refund. I received an email saying $12.90 was refunded to me. If I paid $79.99 plus tax which came out to $84.37, how is $12.90 considered 20% of $79.99 much less $84.37? Needless to say, I will never use FTD again.

EDIT: THE FLOWERS ARE ALMOST ALL DEAD, AND NOT AT ALL WHAT WAS DISPLAYED ON THE WEBSITE. I placed an order with FTD 2 weeks before Valentine's Day, as I wanted my wife to have some beautiful flowers as a gift. About five minutes after the initial order, I realized I needed to send the flowers to her work, not to the apartment, as nobody would be home - most importantly, her. So, I immediately changed the address for shipment. I got an email a few minutes later stating that they were processing my request, and that I would get an email upon completion. Well, I never did. I figured, that if I wasn't hearing anything from them, well, maybe it'll work out okay. Nope!
Today is Valentine's Day, and my wife is at work without her flowers and jewelry. However, I came home early, and the shipment was sitting outside the apartment building. I guess I should be thankful for having neighbors that don't steal packages! Especially, when you can clearly tell what is in the box. +1 for my neighbors.
Needless to say, they charged my credit card immediately, but trying to get someone to change the address for delivery was apparently too much to ask for. My wife was texting me frequently throughout the day, worried that she missed the delivery or that someone accidentally told them that she wasn't in. Guess I can tell her not to worry anymore - they're sitting at home. I guess I'm pleased they at least sent me the flowers and gifts, even if it wasn't at all where they should have been. I am disappointed that they didn't ever contact me back, confirm the address change, or even send a simple email saying that they were delivered SOMEWHERE. Zero communication, no follow-through, and a bad experience when it should have been exciting and pleasant.
I actually decided to open the box while I was writing this review. OH BOY. They're almost ALL dead, and there's literally 2 roses in the "bouquet" (calling it that is really pushing it), with scraggly wilted flowers mixed in. Over $100 for something I could have pulled from the dumpster behind a flower shop. I am fuming. Now, on top of spending all this money for a nice gift, it gets sent to the wrong address, ALL DEAD OR DYING, and I have to run out before she gets home to buy her another round of flowers. I will absolutely never order from here again.

The bouquet that I ordered arrived, with 7 flowers, a far cry from the picture online, when I sent an email to the FTD customer service, 15 min later the florist called the recipient and stated they were going to pick them up. Thinking that they would deliver a corrected arrangement, no, the delivery person that came to pick up the arrangement made the comment "you get what you pay for."
Well when you pay over 95.00 for an arrangement, and the person gets only 7 flowers, I would consider that a short fall. So I then contacted CS to see why no other arrangement was delivered and was told "rest assured" it will be delivered tomorrow by noon since they could not reach the florist and had no answer as to why the bad arrangement was picked up and no new one delivered. Customer service is of NO help, and I would NOT recommend ordering from this site. Stay local, order from a direct florist in the area you are wanting them to be delivered to.

FTD Florists has become a pitiful excuse for a company!!! Unfortunately, I neglected to check reviews before placing my order, largely because of the long-standing good reputation I THOUGHT this brand still had. Because I was unable to travel to the memorial service of a relative, I ordered a "Soldier's Salute" standing spray on the morning before the service, to ensure I was represented at the service. Then, I called on FTD on the day of the service to confirm the spray I ordered had been delivered. After the FTD rep "checked with the florist" (the name of which FTD refused to divulge), I was told the spray was out for delivery and would arrive by 2P, even though I had insisted it be delivered by 1P when I placed the order. At the end of the memorial service, I received a text message from someone at the service, who informed me that my Soldier's Salute spray was NOT among those at the service. I absolutely was LIVID.
NEVER, EVER, EVER USE FTD to place an order, unless your goal is to be devastated or to play games. While I received 2 wordy apologies (along with the OFFER to provide a full refund), I also was offered a $25 OFF coupon to make another purchase - HA! NOTHING can undo the damage of what basically constitutes my failure to APPEAR at a time of loss. I will N-E-V-E-R use FTD again, and I purposefully may avoid using ANY florist that advertises as an FTD affiliate. FTD's highly CONSISTENT FAILURES (as demonstrated in these reviews) in delivering a service upon which customers - at extremely difficult and important times - totally are relying is intolerable, unacceptable, despicable, and neither should be rewarded with new nor repeat business!

And the thing is I would have probably been ok with it had they just been upfront about the costs. But to do it sneakily like that is absolutely unacceptable and quite frankly it is outright theft and deception - theft under false pretenses or whatever the legal term for this is. Beyond pissed. So, lo and behold, on 12/24/26 what shows up - my original flower order! I guess I should add that my delivery was made by FedEx. I see by the reviews that they are guilty of poor or non-delivery by several other customers. But I digress.
I again called FTD to try to get an explanation of why the flowers were NOT delivered on the date they were supposed to be delivered and got the standard "rote" responses that the FTD representatives are trained to give. No explanation, just a "we are sorry". Boy, that solved everything! The rep felt that since the flowers were delivered, albeit a day late, that they had fulfilled their duty. I explained to the rep that if these were my wedding flowers that I would have had no flowers for my wedding day. Went way over her head! All I wanted was an explanation of how something so important when it comes to a delivery could happen.
How can something that is ordered a month ahead of time, paid for, and pretty much guaranteed to be delivered when expected go so wrong? I decided to sign up for FTD during the holiday season because my Hilton HHonors account was giving me a deal for earning 3000 points per purchase and I had 3 birthdays in the family within 1 month period but in a different state between December-January and an anniversary. Without knowing much about the company and their business model, I signed up for FTD's gold membership and requested a delivery for 24th December for my aunt's Christmas birthday, which was also extra $10 in shipping fees. So in one day, I placed four orders. Guess what, 2/4 should have been delivered but the 1st one arrived one day later than the birthday, even though it was before the Christmas holidays. And it is now 27th and the extra shipping fee 24th delivery still hasn't arrived! Since I did not get any emails, I called them today to ask what is going on.
They told me the local florist could not process the order! Really? And the only way I found out was BY CALLING YOU GUYS FROM MY END? They said they processed the order now over the phone and it will arrive on the 29th. What's the point of me placing an order for someone's special day if it's going to arrive SIX DAYS LATE? Why pay extra shipping for 24th delivery if it will arrive close to New Year, and that too, upon me inquiring on the status? So you want me to spend $50-60 on something so that it arrives a week late? I am also disappointed that Hilton would vouch for such a company. I will call them and file a complaint for misleading their loyalty members.
The three birthdays are in the same family and it makes me look REALLY BAD WHEN ALL OF THEM RECEIVE THEIR BIRTHDAY ITEMS LATE! Oh, and within the last few days, I launched multiple order status inquiries on their site, but did not receive a voicemail, phone call or an email about any of those inquiries. So it seems like you can't get through to them unless you call them, which makes them 100% unreliable during holiday season, when some stores might be closed.

I thought I was ordering through a Canadian site in Canadian dollars. When I went to purchase, my total for a $79.99 arrangement was $118.00. This included a $19.99 fee that's not mentioned anywhere. I'm in Edmonton and the funeral is outside Ottawa so I figure... $118.00 expensive but ok. When I go to check my bank account, $164.00 was taken from my account! Nothing stated anywhere that it was to be in US funds, nothing mentioning exchange rate. I call the 1-855 number and the guy from "customer service" states that it says on the website that it is a US company and that the transaction is in US funds.
I have taken a screen shot of every page that I went to to purchase and it DOES NOT mention that anywhere. False advertising! So I request a refund and he says he can give me a $20.00 credit on a future purchase. "HELL NO! You just ripped me off fraudulently, I am not even going to use FTD ever again, give me back my money!" He said he processed the refund but now it's just before Christmas and I will have to wait until the New Year to get my $164.00 back! Unacceptable and fraudulent business practices! How many elderly people just go ahead and buy flowers and not look at their bill??
They think they're paying $100 but in reality they're paying $185?? What a complete scam. I had received a $25 gift certificate for FTD. I figured that would pay for about half a nice bunch of flowers to have delivered to the house while I was at work for my wife. Then I see the delivery fees and service fees and they're as much as the coupon (not even next day delivery). Then I see on their website they have the Gold Membership subscription and I figure my gift certificate could cover that and I would have a year to have flowers delivered to other people as a nice surprise.
FTD considers the Gold Membership a promotional offer. As soon as I signed up for it and tried to purchase flowers for my wife it wasn't allowed as I cannot combine offers. So this translates to if you get a Gold Membership it is your only "coupon, gift certificate, promotion" that you can use even though it's a paid subscription.
Luckily after minor conversations with Customer Service the flower order as well as the Gold Membership were successfully cancelled. A paid membership is a promotional offer? Seriously? Will never use FTD and it's a shame because they and their florist partners would have made a heck of a lot more than the $25 credit from the gift certificate they would have "lost." I just want to express my wholehearted disappointment with FTD, your supposed commitment of trust, and your poor excuse for a customer service department. Ordered an arrangement online on Wednesday December 14th for delivery to the Funeral Home on Friday December 17th for my dear brother-in-law's wake. The flowers never arrived and when I attempted to inquire as to what happened on Saturday morning just prior to the funeral and burial, I was treated to 25 minutes of horrible Muzak before someone finally picked up the phone.
The girl I finally spoke with seemed to have no record of my order as she asked over and over for the order number, my name, the late recipient's name, the Funeral home, etc. I had received email confirmation on Wednesday morning that the order had been received and was being processed. She finally told me that she had to call the local florist who FTD had contracted with, but said that they would not be open for another three hours. This made no sense, as that would have had them opening after 12 noon. I checked the three local florists that FTD uses and they all opened at 8 or 9 o'clock.
She assured me that she (FTD) would call me back that afternoon. No call ever came. After the Funeral I again called FTD's customer support line (855-329-5806) and once again waited and waited for someone to pick up. The line went dead a number of times and I had to call back again and again. Finally gave up on that number and tried your 800 number. Only then was I able to speak with someone who finally found my order and told me that it had not been fulfilled. The email apologizing for the non-delivery should have been sent well before the expected delivery date, not after the Funeral. I could have found another source of flowers for the wake if I had been told. Which, by the way, I will be doing for all of my future flower needs. An apology for "inconvenience" is hardly sufficient in this case.

Flowers that arrived were woefully smaller and different than what was pictured in the order image (This happened more than once but repeatedly for the past 3 years). Refused to deliver flowers to Falmouth MA funeral home on two separate occasions (Dec. 2015 and July 2016) in spite of my having an FTD "GOLD MEMBERSHIP" for which I paid a premium.
Customer service is offshored which is bad enough but they do not understand what you say and just keep repeating scripts back to you such as "I understand you are upset" or "That is terrible" and endless "I'm sorry that happened to you" but the end result is a coupon for your next purchase rather than fixing the current situation. If you are lucky, they take 15% off which is not off your total price but for the base price before taxes and delivery which equates to $22 on a $167 order. USELESS... AND you have to spend as I did today... 56.5-minutes on hold to get a Manager to even get that far. I demanded to have a US based FTD manager call me.... see next two points.
FTD renewed the "gold membership" on their own without my permission. NO, it was not set up to rebill and I had already been told that would not happen in a prior call to complain related to my father's and brother's funeral arrangements that never happened. I FINALLY get a call from a US based Customer Service Specialist but not the manager I requested. Nancy ** in the Northeast at **... and she was just as drippingly sarcastic and unhelpful. This time... it wasn't second language issues, it is just lack of integrity and lack of customer service skills.
The nicest things I can say about her: She is RUDE, patronizing, condescending and dismissive. She literally hung up on me when I wouldn't let her rephrase the problem statement to only being about the "Gold Membership" renewal. She didn't want to address the larger issue of NON-delivery, poor customer service and hour+ waits to get to anyone that can do anything. Now we have a name and inbox, feel free to call and let her know your horrible experience directly.

I really wished I would have read the reviews about FTD Florists before I wasted my money! I had an arrangement sent to my mother for her birthday what I paid for and what she received were two different things the picture of what I thought I was sending was beautiful & colorful. My mother's arrangement had very little color and very few flowers! They should be ashamed of themselves falsely leading people to believe they are purchasing what is shown. Oh they state on their site that they might have to substitute some flowers but geez my arrangement looked like every flower plus the basket was a substitute!!
Also I almost forgot the arrangement was packed or should I say shoved into the box so that what looked like the two of the only big colorless flowers were laying in the bottom of the box. I wish I could just return the pathetic-looking flowers and just get a refund. I will never order from FTD Florist again nor will I refer FTD Florist to anyone that is considering their service.

Ordered flowers from Canada to be delivered in Canada. Did the largest upgrade. Printed the invoice. Credit card was charged in US$. Customer service all but conceded that they paid the Canadian Florist in Canadian funds! No reason for an exchange rate and will NEVER use FTD again! If they paid the florist in US$ would be reasonable. They made about 20% profit just on exchange. Lesson - look up a florist in the area, read their reviews and use their website directly!

I ordered from FTD and was completely embarrassed when my recipient received the flowers for her birthday. Ftd was not even interested in seeing pictures of what the local florist had sent out. I could have bought a much less expensive arrangement that looked much more attractive at the grocery store.

Worst flowers ever!! I ordered flowers for my mother's 84th birthday. Waited all day for them to be delivered. Called customer service twice. First time at 3:30 - was told they could not reach the florist but there was a note that they had been delivered. Wrong. Waited another hour. Called back again. The florist could not be reach and was told they had until 7 pm to deliver. Flowers showed up at 5 pm... worst flowers ever. Top photo is what I got. Bottom is what I ordered for $49.99 plus $17 service charge. Don't use them. Call a local flower shop.

I ordered flowers online to be delivered to someone grieving the loss of a loved one. I chose the "Peaceful Passage" arrangement. The "Simple and Sweet" arrangement was $99.99. However, I upgraded to "Bountiful Blooms" for $139.99. Unfortunately, the arrangement that was delivered looks nothing like the flowers I paid for. This is really not good business practice. I will never send flowers through FTD again. What a disappointment!

My husband was sending me roses for my 60th birthday, which I was happy about, and he really wanted to do something nice. He usually gets me grocery store flowers, but this time, he wanted to do something SPECIAL and have flowers SENT to me. But, what came in the FTD box DIDN'T make me happy. First, the flowers were very poor quality, and were very wilted. He ordered the multicolored roses bouquet with a vase. The pink roses were brown, the other roses were small, with very crooked stems and had disease on all the stems, and all the buds and leaves were wilted or dead, as well as the thorns still being ON the rose stems.
I grow a garden, so I know what plant diseases look like. Plus, the vase was so small and so short, that either the flowers had to be cut down to little shorties, or I needed to use another vase. I chose to use one of my own vases so the roses could still have some length to them. I know my husband paid a fair amount for something he could have paid a FRACTION for (and better quality) at the local grocery store. I felt bad to get this as poor as it was, but felt WORSE for my husband because he really TRIED, and being ADHD, it takes him some extra effort to do these things.
This company has ALWAYS had a reputation for quality, and speedy delivery, but the past few years the poor quality has almost but totally DESTROYED this company's good name. A Mr. Robert S. Apatoff runs this company, but obviously he doesn't realize how bad things ARE, and that his company is almost now synonymous with "POOR QUALITY." I don't like giving bad reviews at ALL, online, but when I saw how MANY there were and counting, I had to add mine as well.

I ordered flowers from FTD for my mother's birthday the day before. The flowers didn't come until 4, which is fine but when the came they were nothing like the picture and the note was poorly written. When the flowers were delivered the wrong name was written on the card!! When I called to complain about the flowers that looked nothing like the picture and note that was horrible I was told that I was wrong and then after further conversation told all they could do was send another arrangement and we could keep the bad one. Then they came to the house the man was very rude took the flowers and 4 days later and still have not received new flowers! When paying 70+ for an arrangement I expect it to be a little like the one advertised!!! Will never order through them again!!

I am beyond disappointed!! My girlfriend was leaving for school today to another state so I wanted to have flowers delivered to her job to wish her luck. They said it would be delivered by the time I needed... it never was. Called again. They upgraded the flowers and were going to send them to her house... they never arrived. She left without getting them. They never called or emailed to like they said they would to let me know the status. Never again.

I ordered flowers and a balloon for a birthday dinner. They were delivered on the wrong day and were very poor quality. The balloon went flat on the first day, and the flowers were pitiful. It was such low quality that the restaurant (where the flowers were delivered) told me that FTD should give me a full refund. I won't use FTD again.

FTD didn't mention when confirming my flower order online that there is $18 for delivery on top of the $40 of flowers. I only found out when I received a text message from my credit card provider with the amount withdrew to be $58! I was surprised so then I checked my email confirmation from them, it was mentioned there. I immediately cancelled my order because this is absolute theft when they didn't mention the correct amount that they will end up withdrawing.

There's absolutely no reason to use this "service." The flowers look nowhere near what those displayed do, and the customer service is terrible. I called to change a mistaken order minutes after placing it and they were unable to contact their local florist? I called back 2 more times to check in and got the exact same runaround "We cannot reach our local florist, but will send them a message, and follow up with you." There was never a follow-up. They also refused to provide the information for their local florist, so I can safely guess either they never called, or that the local florist is some fly-by-night shady business and they wanted to hide that. Every florist I call answers or returns calls promptly so why can't they reach them when they try 3 times but can reach them immediately to place an order? The website looks so professional, but they are far from it.
It is obvious when you call for customer service it is a call center where the employees with a shaky grasp of the English language are taught to just repeat the same phrases and tricks in hopes you just give up in frustration. I'll never order through them again and will advise anyone I know to also avoid them. I have had much better luck just calling local florists myself. A quick google search will reveal this company's stock is plummeting and it's no surprise why. Attached are pictures of what was promised, and what was actually delivered.

I placed an order for flowers on October 3, 2016. My daughter was supposed to receive them on her birthday October 4, 2016. I called her to see if she received them and she had not. I called and spoke to Nakiya (FTD staff) on October 4th - she placed me on hold and came back on the line stating the local florist was closed for the day. Over the course of that day and the next few days - I spoke with Sherita, Rowell, and Brianna (FTD supervisor staff). In each case I was made promises that were not fulfilled.
I received two e-mails of flower delivery - the last one gave a name of Esai as the person signing for the flowers. My daughter has never heard of this person. I am hoping FTD does the right thing and refunds my money. In any case, I will NEVER use their service again and will encourage all of my family and friends to do the same. All I wanted was to surprise my daughter with beautiful flowers for her birthday. I am saddened by what I thought was a reputable company's customer service.
