The mirror I ordered didn't work as expected, it fit and looked fine the power part wasn't working. Decided wasn't worth sending back. Customer service saw my review and took care of the problem and I wasn't even making a complaint. Still not even sure if I made the mistake or if it was on their end. Will shop with them again when I need parts.

I had a lot of time and trouble installation. After I wrote my review I received a thank you letter and an apology for letting them know so they could inform the manufacturer that they need to correct the fit. Plus they gave me a discount on future orders. I wasn’t going to use it, but today I received another email and that impressed me. Bracket was clean and painted, but pin holes were damaged. I was able to fix myself, but it was not usable as delivered. Customer support quickly offered solutions, including exchange and partial refund. Since I was able to fix the part and use it, I took the partial refund, which felt like a fair exchange. Customer support was friendly and very easy to deal with.

Needed to return an alternator that stopped charging my battery. The customer advocate has been very helpful in getting this done. They have kept in touch with me and let me know what is going on, what to expect, etc. I am still waiting to find out if I have to send the original box back (which was no fault of theirs at all; I forgot to take the box with me).
This is the first product that I have ever purchased that has "gone bad" and I have ordered quite a lot from Carparts.com. Even the mechanic who put on a new alternator that I had to get said he has run into the same thing; he has ordered brand new parts from various local auto parts stores and they have been defective right off the shelf, so this is no fault at all of Carparts.com and they are wonderful to deal with. Would recommend them to anyone that needs a part for a vehicle. The shipping is always fast, and as I said, so far the return process has been very good!!! If I could give them 10 stars, I would!!! I bought a fuel pump for my 2000 Chevy Camaro. I had to drop the tank, which can be quite a task for anyone who has done it before. Within a week or two the pump failed. I was mad, but I couldn't ask for a refund as getting that tank out and in was so much trouble I just wasn't prepared to do it all over again. I wrote a review describing my experience and chalked it up to bad luck. These guys took the time to reach out to me about my experience and offered to send me a brand new fuel pump free of charge. They took the time to seek ME out and do this- that is service that is above and beyond nowadays. I really appreciate this and will recommend Carparts.com to anyone I know. Thanks again.

I got 2 bad solenoid sent to me. I checked and rechecked. My side was in working order. The parts threw codes immediately. I did a review online. Carparts.com emailed me and I explained everything and they agreed I got bad parts. They have paid for shipping to return items and were very professional and so far did everything to fix this issue immediately. I shipped today and am waiting on my refund. I would recommend them for customer service alone.

I placed an order with the company based on price but delivery date was important as well. I ordered on a monday and it was supposed to arrive on Wednesday. It was pushed to Friday then pushed again. I made it known in an email I received from them about my experience and they responded and indicated how sorry they were regarding my experience and refunded my shipping costs. I thought that was very good of them in order to keep me as a customer. I will try them again and as long as it gets delivered as stated or very close to that I won't have an issue. The product (brakes) fit fine and seem to be doing their job.

I had ordered a part and it came without gaskets, Carparts.com reshipped the entire order with gaskets. I ended up having to modify the part slightly to get it to fit. I left a 5 star review reflecting the great price and I had expected some issue buying the cheapest part available. They read my review, contacted me without my initiation and ended up partially refunding my order after I told them I did not want a refund as things were fine and I was happy and had expected some kind of issue.
Overall, they reshipped the part with gasket, read my review, contacted me on my review, gave me a partial refund without my wanting one and actually telling them I was fine and did not want one and also gave me a 10% off code on my next purchase. They were my 2nd go to place for car parts but after dealing with their customer service, they are going to be my number 1 place to go to for car parts from now on. Regardless of price difference or ship time. In this day and age, it's hard to find any company that cares at all about customer service. Order **

Regarding order **, I had ordered KYB struts and sway bar links to service my 2008 Toyota Tacoma. During installation, I discovered that one of the struts was not aligned correctly during the manufacturing process, making it extremely difficult to install. I mentioned this in my initial review and CarParts.com responded almost immediately. They offered to replace the item, but since I had no option but to move forward that day, they provided a discount to the item and offered a coupon for future purchases. They really do stand by the quality of the products they sell and worked quickly to offer assistance.

I recently ordered a bumper kit from this website and received the front bumper with no issue. The back bumper was out of stock though. After a week of it being out of stock they refunded me and I was waiting for the bumper to come back in stock to order again. Carparts is a very great company. Fast delivery - friendly and professional staff who are very patient and makes sure you have everything needed concerning your vehicle. I ordered a catalytic converter - turns out it was defective. I called back a few days later to report it and they walked me through the process of getting it documented and the ordering of another catalytic converter and steps on how to resend the faulty converters. I’m actually getting the new one installed as I type. I believe all will be well this time around. Please give your business to this company - you won’t be sorry!

Had ordered a Kool Vue Mirror online and received it quickly and item looked like it was good quality, but when I plugged it in and installed it, all the functions of the mirror were screwed up, and pressing the buttons would cause the mirror to do the opposite. This was my first time ordering from this site and thought it would be my last, but Bryle from customer advocate contacted me and advised that they had already sent out another mirror for me without me asking them. Received the mirror and it is now working like the original mirror. I will definitely use this site again to order car parts....Highly recommend this site....

Just an FYI your company is absolutely horrible, and despicable. I have been attempting to work with this company for almost 3 months. They sent me the incorrect part for my car. But kept claiming it was the correct part. I went to THREE different mechanics and they all said the same thing. It was the WRONG part. They kept taking forever to respond to emails, they never answer their phones, and they gave me the runaround for months on end, so that they didn’t have to give me a FULL refund. $500 is a lot for a poor, single mother. Imagine driving around for almost 3 months without any A/C in 90 degree weather. You are worthless human beings by constantly ripping people off, and deceiving good people. You should be absolutely ashamed that this is how you choose to run your company.
I will ABSOLUTELY be leaving negative reviews on as many sites as I can. Because I’m perfectly aware how damaging they are to a business. But this is what is deserved. I read many reviews of you guys telling customers they would receive a refund, and in the end they got about $50. If I do not receive the refund that I was quoted, I promise there will be hell to pay. Karma always comes back around, and you’ll get what’s coming.

I ordered a part for my car, the first one arrive in the correctly marked box, however, the opposite side window regulator was packed inside. I returned the part and they sent a correct part, without a motor. The adaptor to my existing motor was totally not correct. They said keep that part we will send a complete regulator and motor, which came and was correct, with one flaw. There was a required angle cut to the regulator which wasn't done, and I repaired the item to fit properly. I called to let them know of the fix I did and they refunded part of my cost, which I couldn't believe! Now that is what I call customer service!

Product had hidden damage and they paid me to correct it. The fender I brought from them was damaged on right corner. The body repair shop didn’t notice until it was unwrapped. It was wrapped at the warehouse like that. I told them the person that pick it and package it needs to pay more attention but they were great in making it right. I will buy from them in the future.

I made a simple purchase for some ballpoints for an old Dodge ram pickup truck. Being I buy a lot of parts online I wanted to try Carparts.com. Right off the start I had issues, it started with the shipment arriving to me short. Even with their own tracking showing it short upon shipping they charged me the full amount. After bringing the shortage to their attention a replacement was made but never arrived. With no timely resolution I decided to cancel the order, to my surprise after returning items they told ME it was short. Thinking this must be a joke I replied with every piece of information I could, yet nothing was in my resolved in my favor.
Later being told I returned the WRONG parts I was not issued a refund nor did I receive the so claimed wrong parts back. I got just nothing, no communication, no refund and no parts, nothing at all!! Continuing to try and find a solution, nothing was getting done, months have passed now and beside me being told it was escalated nothing has been satisfied.

I was ordering a window regulator Order# ** for my 2000 Toyota Camry, when I finished installing the parts I realized that the cable connection to the motor has reversed polarity so I left a feedback explaining the issue. Emmy was very concerned about the points I brought to her attention concerning manufacturing quality and possible injury just handling the headlamps. The headlamps had very sharp edges on the plastic which could cut someone. They also had 6 sheet metal screws with extremely pointed ends that could puncture your skin.

Ordered some struts for my 2009 Nissan Versa and was sent faulty parts by one of their distributors. When CarParts became aware of my issue, they quickly responded to my concerns and corrected them, professionally as well as quickly. My only frustration now is that I have to have my struts changed out again and this is time consuming and expensive. I shouldn't have to be changing them, as the original parts I had already ordered, should of been quality parts. I hope this is the last time I have to replace parts that I have purchased from CarParts that I received from their distributors in faulty condition because having struts changed is expensive and dangerous and you essentially don't know you received by ad struts, until after their installation and you drive the vehicle.
I'm happy with how they quickly offered to replace them but, unhappy that I'm out of pocket for installation and I only have until the 20th of June to return the faulty parts. I'm disabled and will probably have to try and replace these myself and depending on how I'm feeling, it may take much longer than that to get around to replacing them.

I recently purchased a replacement Fuel Pump for my vehicle and experienced an issue with the replacement pump that was sent. The first pump that I purchased failed after three weeks. I promptly informed Carparts.com about this purchase along with what happened. I was sent a replacement part which was delivered in pieces and could not be used. I was sent an email by a Carparts.com representative who expressed their sincere remorse about what happened and immediately issued a refund for the product. Received ordered part that was defective. Trying to get replacement has been less than stellar. Along this journey I have been assisted by some helpful individuals. (Vonn, Monica, Brooke). Once I receive the replacement part promised, I will feel much better about this endeavor. I think the return process for this company needs some fine tuning. All in all, they are trying to make the situation right so I can't say I would not shop with them ever again. (That is unless there is an issue with the replacement part.)

I purchased a radiator for a Toyota Prius which includes the condenser for the AC system. The item was delivered promptly (actually earlier than the estimated delivery date) and was fairly well made and worked well when installed. My only problem was that a bracket that had been welded on to support the AC lines had a hole drilled in the end which would not allow installation of the associated retaining clip due to the hole being drilled or punched too far from the end. I opted for reworking the part myself rather than returning the item, but did complain in a review.
A customer service rep contacted me immediately, apologized for the error, and promised to process a $50 discount for my troubles. I considered this more than fair for the rather minor error. I hope that their supplier corrects the manufacturing error so that others with less mechanical aptitude will not have to delay their repair projects for similar problems.

I ordered parts for vehicle then wait for them to come and pay to have delivered one day earlier but they are actually behind. FedEx is supposed to deliver 10-2 pm. Was not delivered until after 3 pm. I have sign saying, "Delivery. Ring doorbell. Don’t leave package." I didn’t know it was delivered and no doorbell ring. I even checked outside at 2:15. Received email saying, "Delivered. Go outside." Nothing outside. Call customer service and the customer service employee argued with me and I asked for supervisor and was hung up several times. They have a poor excuse to customer service and I called bank. Canceled payment. It was not even delivered to correct address. Was left by street.

When I discovered the problem I was in a rush to get the car back on the road so I purchased one from a local junkyard. I thought too much time had passed since purchase so pitched the item. 2015 Nissan Armada SL, 108,000 Choose Z36 slotted/drilled rotors and ceramic pads front and rear. What a difference, these are what brakes should be. Quiet, shorter stopping distance, peace of mind. Updated on 04/29/2023: I've already left my complaint here once with a response from a representative at Carparts.com. I want you all to know that even though the Customer Advocate Team is responding to individual's complaints public, they are not responding afterwards. It is just a front for the company as a whole. As I mentioned I'd recommend cardID.com over this "establishment".
Original Review: One of my employees placed an order for two upcoming jobs, but upon delivery, I discovered that the parts ordered were not going to fit. I immediately contacted the online supplier and initiated the returns process. As I was preparing the items for carrier pickup, I discovered that some parts actually fit one of the jobs. However, upon opening the package for a pair of headlights, I discovered that they had been damaged during shipping. Additionally, I found that a box intended to carry a cold air intake was filled with only shipping miscellany, without the intake.
I contacted the supplier, who asked for pictures and offered to replace the damaged headlights or provide a refund. They also requested photos of the intake issue, and I waited for further follow-up. However, in subsequent contacts, I found that the representatives were confused about the situation, and I had to reiterate the entire matter. Moreover, four out of five representatives showed a total disregard for the situation, and I had to manually copy conversations and take photos to document interactions since the representatives did not take note of the matter.
In the past 24 to 48 hours, the supplier informed me that they would not compensate for the damaged headlights or refund $500 I paid for the cold air intake, citing a return already initiated for the items. Based on my experience, I would advise against using Carparts.com and instead recommend alternatives such as Carid.com or Partsgeek.com. This company does not care for their consumers at all lol.

Purchased an exhaust system (for an '04 Pontiac Vibe FWD non gt.).. Invoice **... including converters and resonator. Product was delivered quickly at a great price, but delivered in an open box and damaged (needed part so dealt with and repaired damage). Product fit correctly, yet flange was considerably thicker material than OE so longer bolts (10mm x 1.25 + 1/4 " longer) were required to mate to flange instead of the included spring bolts (simple but frustrating). After writing an honest lackluster review, Carparts.com did respond with 10% off for damage ($30 credit) and a 10% off coupon for next purchase...
Yet must mention they originally offered a $20 coupon for writing a review which (apparently) was not available to any review under 4 stars...Once I responded with a 4 star, (with similar honesty) it prompted a response. The customer service person who did email me was super quick and responded even on a Saturday. So in the end it was what that which will give carparts.com a second chance (with coupon) to pull me from an online competitor.

What a nightmare! I would not recommend CarParts. My car needed rotors on both sides. They shipped one good part and the wrong part for the right side. Trying to exchange it was a long delayed process where I had to pay for shipping.

The first part I ordered never showed up. The second was defective so I requested an exchange they messed that up. I had to call them after I made my claim because they forgot. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Don't order low priced parts. By the time you pay the postage you can get the part cheaper locally. I order a windshield wiper replacement blade - cost $15.00. Received the wrong part and was told to send it back for a refund. No problem there but by the time the postage was paid and I bought the part I wanted and paid another postage there was no refund and I was into the part way above the original cost. Unless you are really in the sticks remember how much it cost to return something. They guarantee it will fit but not what the final cost will be.

This is the second time I order parts with the same bad experience, yes I got some savings but the worst part is the shipping (GLS). They said the part will be here last Monday so I told my customer I will have his truck ready. The day it takes me 15min to replace it. Today is Wednesday and still no show and on top of that GSL won't update the shipment so this is the last time I order from Carparts.com.

I ordered a brake kit for my wife's car. The website stated that the order would be delivered on Saturday. On Friday I received a text from FEDEX saying that my ordered wouldn't be delivered until Monday. I checked the status of my order on Carparts.com and it still stated that my order would be delivered on Saturday. I called Carpart.com and the lady told me that they don't pay for weekend delivery and that they have a policy of delivering within 5 working days. I asked why both places on their website said Saturday. She said she didn't know. I asked about returning these as my wife was going out of town on Sunday . She said I could return the brake kit but that I would have to pay the freight charge. $18.00 when it was not my fault. Do not buy from them, they list delivery dates just to get you to buy, knowing that they cannot deliver on that day. STAY AWAY!

I ordered a replacement fog lamp for my BMW. It arrived broken so I went online (after a lengthy chat session) to file for a replacement. I filled out the form, sent pictures, and received a return email stating I would receive an RMA within 72 hours. No email arrived. A week later I contacted them again and was told I would receive it within 48 hours. I have no idea whether I'll ever receive the replacement or refund as they never respond. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I have bought a set of 4 engine mounts for my 2007 Toyota Corolla and this job has cost me so much time and extra money because the ones I bought from Carparts.com have only 1 that fit my car out of the 4. After attempting to leave a review for the product TWICE, it fails to show up on the product website and the only reviews on there are 5 and 4 star reviews which is why I bought the product.
This alone shows disgusting practice from this company as they more than likely have a quality control team checking reviews before approving them which defeats the purpose of reviews (For reference please google "2007 Toyota corolla engine mounts" and one of the first ones you see are from carparts.com with ONLY stellar reviews). It is interesting to see carparts.com commenting on this website as well and not getting back to me about my review because clearly they cannot control these. Will not be using or recommending this website for personal or business use ever.

Do not do business with this company. They will double charge you then not refund you the money when asked so far for over 2 weeks. They play around and give the, "Oh it takes 3-5 business days," well it has already been 14 business days. They love to play phone around the room with other associates there and make excuses over and over. They put a bunch of unauthorized charges through and proceed to play ignorant. I will be following up with fraud to DACS for them to proceed further.

I waited 2 weeks for a left and right fender well liner for the front wheels and revived one rear one, upon talking to customer service I was told nothing could be done but return it and wait for a refund. I asked if I could have the parts overnight shipped because it’s for a customer's car and I was told “we only refund not replace." Would rate zero stars if possible.

Purchased coolant tank for 986, a 4-5 hour job. Got done and tank failed. Because bought tank over 90 days, company won't warranty. I live in FL, working on car in summer was not option. Disappointed!

I purchased a kit and ended up not needing all the parts. I asked if I could return the ones I did not need. I was told yes. I called back later to proceed with the return. Was told too expensive to return the products so I would just be given a refund. I was given a certain amount. I called back to verify the time frame and was told nothing was in the works for the amount I was given. Supposedly part of the parts were only being refunded. I emailed them and this time the gentleman processed the other refund but I didn’t see the first refund. It’s not a large amount so I am not going to worry about it. At least I got some of my money back. It was just a frustrating experience.

I bought by phone part for my car, gives them Vin num, sended me parts what looks like mine but is not. That's parts destroyed my tires. I complain on BBB they offer me half money. Now they even not offer half, they giving me 1/3.

Parts were not good quality. Cheap rubbish so be aware. And returning defective parts are a nightmare. So Pls be warned. Parts ordered came from China and just not up to being good quality parts. When I attempted to fit the part was threaded at an angle and clearly cross threaded at factory.

Upon working with Carparts.com and seeing how bad FedEx is in delivering packages I am convinced that Carparts is only partially responsible for the slow delivery. I ordered another part from them to find out if my experience was unique and the second delivery went very well. FedEx however is probably the worst delivery service and will do everything I can to avoid them.

I ordered a front end car part from Carparts because they had a great price and reviews seemed to be good. I received an email from them saying that the part was going to be here two days before I originally expected it. Because of that, I gave up my service appointment and was able to get a sooner one. The part was supposed to be shipped on Friday morning and delivered on Saturday. I never received the part and communicated with customer service several times over the weekend and they kept saying that the fault was with FedEx because they were really busy and had not updated their tracking information. The FedEx site told me that they had not received the part from Carparts yet.
I even asked customer service to verify other shipments the same time as mine. On Sunday evening I finally got an email from FedEx saying that they received the shipment from Carparts at 2 something in the afternoon on Sunday and it is scheduled for delivery on Monday. I am not sure if the package sat in an employees car or what, but customer service kept assuring me that the fault was not theirs. I am losing my installation time slot and it will now probably take me several days to get on their schedule. Very disappointed in the time it took to send the part after they assured me it was sent and the provided delivery date as well as customer service telling me that the problem was FedEx.

After 22 years of use my original alternator started to fail, I knew I was going back with an AC Delco OEM alternator, but the prices were very high. Carparts.com had what I needed at a very fair price. The alternator is exactly like the original and is performing as expected. The process to return my core was painless and I'm very happy with company.

I ordered some parts and paid shipping to have it delivered at my address at on or before certain date. The item never came in, it never left the warehouse, I called customer service and they wanted me to pay more if I was in a hurry to have it delivered faster but they couldn't give me an exact date of delivery. First and last time I order something from this company.

I realized as soon as I hit buy now that the shipping address auto corrected to an old address. I emailed customer service right away as it was after hours. I followed up by email and phone call next day and was told that a shipping request was made. FedEx had not picked up at the package at that point. I even said I would pay for the adjustment. The following day I send another email asking before it was delivered with no response. It was delivered to the incorrect address.

I purchased a 2001 Toyota Tundra taillight and the lens was a correct replacement but the bulb harnesses would not allow the OEM connectors to attach. I reached out to customer service and they stated that it would fit. I advised them that it would not fit as I spent over an hour trying to make it fit and over the last four days, they have stated that: It does fit. I ordered the wrong item and that they will not pay for return shipping. I attached a copy of a new taillight that I had to order that was the exact same taillight (from another vendor) and they stated that since I ordered the wrong item number, they will not pay for return shipping.
Shipping just happens to be 70% of the cost of the actual item. Even Amazon will pay for return shipping on an item that would not fit/or fit another vehicle - And - they do not call me a liar. Know up front, that if you buy from CarParts.com that if they send you the wrong item, or an item that does not fit, that you will be faced with high return shipping fees. Just saying. Jody

Updated on 12/22/2022: I recently wrote a review about Carparts.com where I gave five stars. I said in the review I received a van grill that would only partially attach to the van, but I also said I felt the issue was with metal on the van that had been bent due to a front end accident. I expected nothing further from this company. A customer service representative from the company contacted me to see if they could help, in case this was a product quality issue. After noting there appeared to be no quality issue, the company offered (at no cost to me) to switch to a different grill, or issue me a small credit. I felt a different grill would do no better, so I accepted the credit. I'm floored, since I expected none of this! While I do not purchase a lot of auto parts, as long as this company can get to me the parts I need, I think my days of scanning auto parts salvage yards are over.
Original review: I received the parts ordered in a reasonable time. The front light assemblies were complete and fit correctly. While the van grill did not attach at all points, this may be due to the fact this van was in a small accident. Possible the metal housing is slighty bent.

Ordered my part from ROCK AUTO and received order confirmation from Carparts.com. My part was received QUICKLY & in great condition and was installed with NO issues. Ready to return my core but the pain in the backside it turned into spoiled my overall experience. My order 'couldn't be found' on the ROCK AUTO site, ended up on the carparts.com site asking for a chat since heaven forbid, you can get a phone number and actually call and talk to a human these days!! I was answered in chat by LOUISE who made the whole ordeal more palatable. She quickly found my order, processed my request to return the core as well as provided a shipping label for my return. I am not sure why this had to turn into the production it was, but thinking it has to do with WHO is actually doing WHAT and WHO is responsible.. Rock Auto or carparts.com??!
AGGRAVATING to say the least.. all for a whopping $19 & change. I would recommend that the two organizations that appear to be in business together possibly the same business, figure out the WHO & WHAT of their processes ownership. Otherwise, you will continue to get poor reviews for the 'return' process; a process that is 'sold' to be as easy as clicking a button.

I had four or five items in the cart, great prices I thought, but then when I went to check out, the shipping charges doubled what I would have to pay!! Fly by night first class scammers... Everything in the cart could have gone into a large envelope and mailed for a couple bucks. Who buys from these people?

My son had purchased a hood for my vehicle since he got in a small fender bender. So far we have received 3 hoods from Carparts.com. Each time they have been damaged during shipping. Now we are told by carparts.com that the fourth hood will be the last one shipped. The way the hood is packed and shipped is beyond belief. I was told that on the third hood that it would be shipped with additional packing, not so! Yes carparts.com has filed 3 claims with the shipping company to no cost to my son. You would think between the two entities, they would have a plan in place to mitigate this. Once is understandable, 3 times not acceptable!

I placed an order for my Car Headlights where they were supposed to be in stock. They Charged me and add me a tracking number that never ends up being shipped. First, they say they were sending a replacement after being unable to track the order. Then offered a refund, but nothing happened. They don't like to work on refunds as they are charging quickly to your card. Two weeks after talking on the phone with them and no single email has been sent confirming our refund for something that never was sent. I am contacting my Bank and reporting them at this point.

I placed an order for my 2019 Kia Optima. Front Engine Splash Shield. After three days I received a refund. No calls or emails. Just a refund. When I communicate with customer service, they tell me that they do not send this type of parts to Puerto Rico (USA). On the website it clearly asks for the address and the zip code. By putting the address the shipping increased, I placed the order but they did not want to send me the piece. That is not stipulated on the website and they say that they deliver to different parts of the world.

I ordered a set of 4 struts and front sway bar links. I received the Front Struts and Rear were to ship separate. The sway bar links were supposed to be part of the 1st delivery. Only received the boxes for the front struts. I reached out to the Chat Customer Service team and had to wait about 10 minutes until they responded. I requested they overnight me the missing parts.
Per John ** this is his message. "We will have this investigated with the warehouse team which may take 2-3 business days to complete. If found it was an error with the warehouse, we can request for a replacement order to be shipped overnight. Let me know if you'd like us to proceed with the replacement request or you would rather get a refund instead." I told him I don't have the time to wait as I have a mechanic friend that is going to install them for me. He then put me on hold for another 5 minutes plus and completed the return. Not much customer service. Never using them again. Will go back to ** or local store.

Hi everyone, I would just like to tell you how well that I was treated at Carparts.com. I am almost 64 years old and most of my friends are restoring hotrods and old classic cars. Then there is me. I got real sick at 51 years old and had to retire. So my project is a 2003 Jeep Wrangler TJ. What a project right! Well my project is also my plow truck that I have to let my friend plow with because I have MD and I am unable to do it. I have never once charged anyone for plowing!! I came by Carparts.com by a friend who has a hot rod and said that I should try them. At first I did not listen and ordered one elsewhere. WHAT a mistake. They told me that I would have it in 2 weeks. It never came so I found a number and called them and was told to cancel my order and find one elsewhere. They could not get one.
So I called Carparts.com, spoke to a really nice person, ordered one and had it in 4 days!! That is service, when I ordered the windshield frame I told them that the first price that I had received was about $35 cheaper than theirs on sale. But the salesman said, "We can't have that" and took off another 10% so his price was better. Well you would think that all would be good now, however when it arrived it had a very small dent in the top of the frame. I was running on a tight time line and I called them and they gave me more options than I could believe!! I went with the cash discount that will cover the repair!!
I have never ever heard of a company this large that first discounted the part so much, delivered it a day before they had told me and took care of matching another company's price and last but not least gave me so many options to handle the small dent and I mean they were willing to do whatever I wanted. I am so happy my friend told me about Carparts.com because if you ever owned an old Jeep you know they are MONEY PITS!! But Carparts.com has and will continue to allow me to keep my Jeep running. I ordered a horn for my car. I watched it go all over, Illinois to Ohio to Mich back to Ohio and finally back to Mich. Package 3 days late. Contacted company, NO response. If you want to wait for a part, these are your guys. Will not buy from them again.

Pros: brand new parts, warranty, guarantee, even shipping insurance, good prices, good selection, conveniently shop from home, save time, money, & energy hunting for the right parts.
Billing- Twice I was double billed. The original charge stayed pending for a week, then was refunded. I was billed again as parts shipped out.
Shipping- They were way off on delivery estimate. And they use FedEx, which works about as well as your grandma with dementia going on a cross country road trip with your ADHD autistic teenager. Out of 5 total shipments, 3 were delayed for various reasons, Iike going 6 hours north when I live only 1 hour south of distribution center & damaged unreadable label.
IF you don't mind paying basically a refundable deposit & waiting patiently for your parts, this places works well. If not, then don't bother ordering from them. Until their billing/Shipping improves, I'm only using them for hard to find parts. Thanks!

This is new update for my purchase experience, my first problem was regarding shipping, but after that I saw my pads are squeaking, I talked to customer service and it was a very good experience with them, asked me to return it for full refund. Very responsive customer service. I got full refund but unfortunately I paid one more time for labor after I got new pads. Actually it costs me two times labor for replacing break pads. Overall experience with customer service was very good.

I will never buy anything again from… I will never buy anything again from there. Ordered a part and never received it. Email company and they said they will refund my shipping cost and I can return the part for a refund. But I never got it. So basically I'm screwed. So I wouldn't suggest using Carparts.com again.

Once I reached out to customer service they were able to help me out with getting my order. About one week after the promised delivery date the package arrived. They even offered me for sending a replacement if the package did not arrive the next 24 hours but miraculously the package moved the next day after almost 4 days so we decided to wait for it. It appears the shipping service they use (Fedex) has terrible package tracking and they can not guarantee if the package exists or stolen at all without a 24-48 hour "investigation". I feel bad for the company (Carparts.com) for having to deal with this. It makes it look bad on Carparts even though the delays and the complete mystery of whereabouts of package seems to be related to Fedex. The part was easy to install and works great. The shipping and delivery dates are completely messed up but I have a feeling it's the shipping service that is causing this.

I have purchased a replacement tail light from Carparts.com to be delivered on 18th of June. Two days past, the order has not yet arrived. Checked tracking and it does not show any updates since 16th and package is on the other side of the country. At this point I contact customer support and they are telling me it will take 2-3 days for them to do an "investigation" and if it is not located they will send a replacement which will take yet another week to be delivered. If you want to receive your orders on time or at all take your business somewhere else. Customer service is completely useless.

Ordered a regulator with motor for my truck driver side electric windows. When selecting my part, I was asked for my VIN, it was revealed that I have a VIN for a Lariat crew cab and not an XLT Supercrew. This is probably what has caused a previous issue I had ordering a part from another website. Louise caught that and verified my need. I bought the vehicle brand new from the dealer, so I have no idea what caused that issue. Needed a tow eye cover before I sent my BMW to the paint shop, original tow eye was damaged. It's a 12$ part and I researched it, made sure I had the right model, year, every detail. Carparts.com filtered my part request and assigned the part which I ordered well in advance of the paint shop start date. The part was delivered late. When I did a trial fit (you guessed it), wrong part, 24 hours before the paint appointment. How they could mess up something this SIMPLE is beyond me. Did they offer to overnight me the correct part..NO. Just a, "Sorry, gee we will refund your $." My advice is, be very, very careful ordering anything from them, give yourself weeks of lead time and hope for the best. Otherwise you might find yourself swinging in the wind.

Awful awful awful! I ordered a part 2 months ago, it got lost in the mail and then was out of stock. I chatted with representatives 4 or 5 times and each time they told me it would be back in stock in 2 more weeks. I checked back every 2 weeks and they then would tell me again - another 2 weeks. Finally it was back in stock this past Thursday and I purchased it AGAIN. I just received an email that I’m being refunded because it is out of stock. I chatted again with a representative who didn’t care and couldn’t do anything for me but tell me “it will be back in stock in 2 weeks.” What a rollercoaster and an awful/unorganized website. You would think I’d have some sort of priority too being as it was lost the first time.

In January I ordered this part, arrived later than stated by shipping dates, took part and vehicle to local shop 1/25/2022 shop installs part, in April 15 2022 shop does routine oil change and rear brakes... The wife leaves, drives to work. Next morning part fails, dumps all oil from motor.. tow it back to shop and part has literally blew out at seams round circle... Refuse to cover labor for a part less than 90 days old but will refund... Any other reputable business would cover 1/2 if not all replacement labor incurred for a defective part so now we're out the price of part from dealership, and the rework of original job to the tune of 650 bucks and that doesn't Include first job. When you call their customer warranty center is not willing to help! Poor service.

First go, they sent the wrong part, not even the correct color. I call to get an exchange, the customer service rep hangs up on me after 30 mins of hold. I write an email, they respond 2 days later, I use the chat option and they issued an exchange. What shows up 4 days later? THE WRONG PART AGAIN!!. I ask for a refund, and they "forgot" to refund the $58 I paid in tax. Another go with the chat agent and they "issued a refund for approval". TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO ANOTHER COMPANY.

They charged me once for the total, it was clearly charged, not a pre-authorization, I consulted my bank and they said me that the purchase was charged, not pre-authorized. Then they charge me again for each delivery package. This is wrong, right? I talked to them and I still have no solution. Also, they offer parts as in stock, but the truth is that most are out of stock, they just take your money twice and don't actually have it with them what they sell.

I ordered the front and rear brake rotors and pads for my Elantra GT. First they came in missing one rotor. It took me an afternoon talking on the phone for the rep to understand what it was missing. They said they were going to send me the missing rotor. I gave them four business days but their system never updated anything. I requested a return and decided to give them another chance. My wife purchased a whole set using her account. The new parts came in three days later which was faster than they updated their system. It could've taken much longer if I waited for the missing part.
They guarantee parts should fit my car. But the front pads and clips don't fit the caliper. It took me a good effort to take everything apart and discovered the parts don't fit. I called them, it took another long time for the rep to understand what's going on then he transferred the call to a technical person. He said there aren't any pads and clips that would fit my Elantra GT. Besides, the rear clips don't fit too. He said there are no replacement parts. I have to drive my car with new rotors but old pads.
Once and again, they disappointed me. I gave them two chances to make things right. They don't have a way to fix this situation. The 3rd thing is that my wife used my referral link to buy the products. The $30 referral bonus never shows up on my account. So 1st, missing parts and it took forever to send me the missing parts. 2nd, parts don't fit and they don't have any replacement. 3rd, missing $30 referral bonus.

Ordered 3 parts totaling $586 on Tuesday April 12. Order supposed to be delivered on Friday, April 15. Got notification it shipped. Bank account charged again for another $403. Contacted them, they said It’s a pending charge and would fall off. My account now has almost $1000 being held by these guys. Called our bank, they said that is absolutely false and that both charges are actual charges against our account. Reached out and got the exact same representative at Carparts and they said no it’s pending. If you all are going to do business like this, you should tell people. My husband was going to be using you for a lot of future business and that will not be happening. We will be reporting the 403 as fraud. There is no way I’m paying you twice for anything. Ridiculous. Even IF it’s nothing more than a pending charge, it freezes that amount of money. That is scammy and terrible. Buyer be aware!!!

I ordered a Radiator for my car. It was a simple process in which I was able to purchase it through linking to my Google, Facebook account, or create an account. I entered my vehicle information into their site to ensure I got the right part. When it arrived via FedEx I noticed the package was opened. Upon inspection, I noticed a slight dent. I hopped on the site and struck up a chat with Jake C. From Customer Service. I explained everything to him, and offered to send a picture which he appreciatively helped me do.

Ordered an A/C replacement kit, which comes with condenser, O-rings, compressor, orifice and receiver. That order was on 3/8 and so far I am still missing condenser and O-rings, according to Fedex items were lost at facility so I called Carparts and they said they couldn’t expedite condenser so got a refund for it. That’s the only option I was given and O-ring were supposed to be expedited on 3-16 which according to Carparts expedite means next day or 2 day delivery and Fedex is saying item will get here Tuesday 3/22. That’s not expedited to me. Just very bad customer service and really bad carrier service. I will Not use Carparts again and will not used Fedex either. If I would’ve at least received the O-rings I could’ve put the compressor in and put everything else back on .. But it seems to be that Carparts does not care for customers.

Jake assisted us with the information we were required to have to order the parts and waited for us while we got it. Top-notch customer service. He told us we needed the cluster-ID, the VIN number, and the mileage. A truck part arrived that had been incorrectly assembled (not enough glue on the end piece) that did not reveal itself until I pulled the plastic cover off the end. Wires inside looked bent. Contacted CarParts.com via their customer service chat and discussed with Jake. He asked for a picture of the part, and I was able to take one with my computer and upload it. Once he saw it, he said it needs to be replaced, or I could get a refund. I opted for replacement. Jake created a re-order and said I would get an RMA & shipping label by mail. All very easy.

I needed a part for my car and got online to search for it. I came across CarParts.com. They seemed to have the part I needed. I knew nothing about this online vendor so I cautiously ordered the part using PayPal. I waited two weeks and didn't see the part. I thought it might be a scam until I realized I never pressed "ORDER". Duh! Once I did, the part came in a few days and I received constant tracking reassurance from them that it was on its way until it arrived at my doorstep.
Today I opened the box and realized I'd ordered a part that wasn't exactly what I needed. I went to Carparts.com and used their chat feature to get the part exchanged with a correct one. I chatted with Louise **. He processed my return and then helped me get the correct part. He was efficient, professional, knowledgeable and made a potential nightmare return into a dream. He couldn't have done a better job or made my life any easier. I've been in customer service all my life and Louise is definitely one of the best I've ever met. This is the way customer service is supposed to work!

The "chat" representative, Abigail, was able to determine the part I needed was not currently part of their inventory. She clarified that the part I had intended to order would not fit my vehicle, even though the catalog description indicated it would be an exact fit. The catalog failed to specify the part in question was for an all wheel drive model, and mine is front wheel drive. She saved me the hassle of ordering the wrong part, and notified the catalog division to address the description omission. FANTASTIC service!

I placed a first time order with Carparts.com, with an advertised delivery of 1/31/22. Notifications indicate delivery 4 days later. When I attempted to email them, and complain, their system would not allow me to complete the communication. Below is the message I tried to send. "I am unhappy with your service. I ordered this part based on your delivery date of 1/31/22 in lieu of ordering the same part from Amazon to be received at a later date. Today is 2/1 and the estimated delivery is 2/3 via today's notification. You may say you can't control FedEx, but that is no excuse as Amazon holds their delivery dates if not delivered sooner. In this case you have not met your customer’s reasonable expectations, which should be of great concern to any reputable enterprise. First impressions are lasting impressions. If, in fact, I made any future orders with you I would have no confidence in the advertised delivery date."

And when I contacted them oh it's no problem send them back for a refund. And even though this was their mistake they made me pay for return shipping. This isn't correct and I will tell people not to use this business. I would rather pay more for parts than this type of service.

This was my first purchase with Carparts.com. I needed a R side mirror for a Ford Escape. They had what I thought I needed, but after checking I didn't need the whole thing. I cancelled 1 of the 2 items on the order 3 hours after placing it. My credit card was adjusted for the change. I got the 1 item no problem. I even got text messages on the status of my shipping. Two weeks later I get an email that my order is on the way. I was very confused since I already got it. I checked my credit card & here's another charge for the item I cancelled.
I went to the Carparts.com chat & started explaining the issue. After chatting with 2 different people, I was on the right track of how to proceed. I was told upon receiving package, send back with the shipping label they provided me & my card would be refunded. The package had rips in the cardboard especially where it said Fragile. The item was damaged. I wanted to let them know before I sent back. I chatted with Jake about my new issue & he was so helpful! I finally had relief about my refund, what to do with the package and was totally satisfied with my business with Carparts.com

Bought a catalytic converter, which they guaranteed would fit my car, but the mechanic said he had to make some adjustments to put it on. After a week or so it started to sound bad then engine light came on which stated the catalytic converter was not good enough. I sent them the engine code and initially said it would be good enough with that to return. But now they want all kinds of information that will cost me money to provide. At this point it's not worth it so I am just going to take the hit and never buy anything from this place again. I would warn anybody buying an expensive part to not do it!!

This was, by far, the WORST online shopping experience I've ever had!!! I was sold a part they didn't have in stock, yet they charged me. I had no clue, until it didn't show up. Then I was argued with, placed on hold, transferred for a minimum of an hour each of the calls... I believe the count is at 5 now! I'm on hold with them now... 30 minutes and counting and I STILL haven't talked to a warm body!! They also sold me the wrong part. As soon as I saw the email, I called in. They told me the order was canceled and ordered the correct parts. The next day I see a charge on my card, then an email, with the shipping info. I called in AGAIN and was told it had already been processed and shipped before I canceled, which was impossible! They are SCAMMERS!!!
I have four boxes I was told the RMA's would be sent via email... They sent ONE RMA, TWICE, but nothing was sent for the other 3 boxes! I received an email on 10/7 stating 'your order is on the way! Estimated delivery date Thurs Sep 30'. How that's even possible?? The part they were going to replace, they couldn't tell me if it was in stock, when it would be shipped OR when it would be delivered. I told the gal I give up and I couldn't do this anymore & I wanted to return everything. She stated she would send me all the RMA's... Nothing ever showed up!

I shopped on Carparts.com for brake disc and pad kit. I entered my vehicle information accurately. Received the wrong sized part. Returning for a full refund is super cumbersome, tons of email - no action. I had to pay shipping to get wrong part. Now they want me to pay to ship back... IF I even I get a shipping return label from them. They are trying to say the system is correct for my car, when even their own website shows 276mm for the part, not the 300mm they insist according to what their database says. I just can't get a full refund processed. As a result of using carparts.com, I have to buy the parts elsewhere, which fit at 276mm, and spend more than I should have. Avoid using carparts.com at all costs.

I ordered 2 items and received both items separately which isn’t bad. I wouldn’t want them to bounce around together, however receiving the items days apart was not cool and on top of that one of the items were wrong. I ordered a fog light trim for my car and got a fog light trim for a different year and model. I spoke to customer service about the issue and said that I would receive an email about the correct item being shipped out followed by a second email regarding the wrong item I received.
