Don't order from here! 0 and I mean ZERO customer service. Only uses a chat bot. Parts break almost immediately. TEMU has better quality parts and service. Their delivery service is in a foreign language and cannot be accessed to track orders.

I never received my package even though the tracking shows it was delivered. I checked around my property and with neighbors and nothing turned up. What makes this worse is that it feels like the company created a shipping label without actually sending the item. The tracking number looked legitimate and showed delivery, but no package ever arrived. My order number was **.
When I contacted customer service, they told me that because I didn’t purchase shipping protection, they could not issue a refund or replacement and suggested I file a police report instead. That response was extremely disappointing and unacceptable for something that was never received. Based on my experience, this feels like a scam and I would strongly advise others to avoid ordering from here unless you’re willing to risk losing your money.

Great service! I am an 85 year-old lady trying to help a neighbor who had a check engine light on. After we took it to AutoZone and got it diagnosed, the part was too expensive for him to buy as he is on limited income. I googled the name of the part and carparts.com came up. It was 1/3 of the cost that AutoZone quoted. I ordered it and had it in less than four days. I had a friend install it, and the part fit perfectly as I was told it would. Problem solved!!

STAY AWAY. Bought a brake pad set with rotors a year ago. Only drove the car about 3k miles and started making noise. Got it covered by warranty and the new ones they sent me ended up overheating the same night from normal driving, I thought it was outside that smelt bad but as I got home the brake pads were smoking, glazing and became a bit harder to brake, if I continued to drive on then they would of sent me to a ditch. Brake pads and rotors can get expensive but it's not worth the risk. Also when I try to put a review just like this one on their website, it's automatically deleted!!. STAY AWAY. Manufacturer KIT-080621-640. ALSO they claim it's ceramic. They're not, they are organic brake pads.

I was able to reach out to customer service through Instagram and they did offer me a refund to the second part that I bought so there’s that. I appreciate the fact that they refunded at least one of the parts especially when they were so set against it in the beginning.

I purchased a part in the middle of December, unfortunately I was not able to work on my car until last weekend. When I opened the box I realized the part I purchased was not the right part. I tried contacting customer service to find out how to return the part. By the time I received a response I was told that it was past 30 days. I am disappointed that an exception cannot be made. Sadly I purchased this part twice. The first time I purchased it, the box was stolen from my driveway. So I purchased it again.

Ordered ball joints for my truck and was able to work on my truck 30+ days later because I was busy with work. Saw that it’s the wrong parts because it was made for 2wd and my truck is a 4wd. I explained my situation and requested a refund or store credit and they refused. I checked my invoice and it didn’t say if it’s for 2wd or 4wd anywhere. Their service cannot be trusted, period.

Terrible and untrustworthy company. Site is clean and easy to use, that’s it. Ordered brake parts and not all came in. I was billed, then they cancelled parts of the order leaving me stuck. They reversed the charges citing out of stock. When I pushed, they suddenly had the parts and asked that I resubmit the order. When I went in, prices were higher and I would have had to pay shipping again. Needless to say, I did not order the parts again. They gave me quite the runaround.
Then… while I was ordering, I signed up for their “membership”. With this terrible experience, I told them to cancel that too as I was not going to use them again. They said it had been more than three days and they weren’t refunding. Absolutely the worst auto parts company I have EVER worked with online. I will also be raising this with the BBB due to their ‘bait and switch’ types of antics. Stay away from CarParts.com.

I was totally deceived and lied to from the time that I searched for a specific part for my personal vehicle; which I was told I would receive on Monday, January 19, 2026 both on the product and by the sales person and guaranteed. That is, until after I paid for it using my bank card. That's when I was slammed with email saying it would be here on Thursday, January 22. Then it went to Friday!!!
I would have bought this part at local O'Reilly's price and been able to have my only vehicle repaired as I greatly need and planned had I not trusted con-artists and even being led to believe they were located in Kansas City, Missouri (or at least my part would ship from there) and been here as promised/advertised, and stated as being Monday, January 19!!! My bank will protect me and they will get their late package shipped back!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANY REASON!

I ordered a side view mirror that did not come with a backing plate to connect the mirror onto the car. Upon return it took awhile to get the "refund" (14 days) which was short $21. They do not refund the shipping you paid for on both ends nor did they refund the full tax collected at purchase. I advise not to take the gamble purchasing with them.

They lie to the customer. I ordered a part that said pay now receive by the 5th. It’s now the 6th I have an upset customer and have to take a pay cut. They are terrible. They keep saying eta say this and that but before I pressed order it said I will receive the 5th.

Fraudulent listings/sale. I have reported them to the FTC for listing part numbers RB90-303 and RB90-301 LEAF SPRINGS at sale pricing but sending DOR90301 and DOR90303. They were two separate orders so no way it was a fluke. CARPARTS.COM is ripping customers off by drawing them in with sale pricing and sending the wrong parts. DO NOT ORDER FROM CARPARTS unless you're ok losing money.

Purchased a hood from Carparts on 12/17. Was told that I would receive the hood by 12/19. When I got tracking information for the hood, I was surprised to see that the estimated delivery date was 12/23, NOT 12/19 as promised. I immediately reached out to Carparts to ask why I wasn't going to get the hood on the date it was promised. I did not get an explanation, only an excuse that they don't control the shipping company, but that they would refund me half of my $200 shipping cost for the inconvenience. I told them that I wanted the refund but that if they could stop the shipment I wanted them to do that, as well. They told me I could return the hood after it was delivered.
I also called the shipping company and let them know that I no longer needed the part. They could not return the item, but told me that Carparts could stop the shipment or that I could refuse the item at delivery. Carparts did not stop the shipment, so when the delivery driver showed up on 12/24, I refused the delivery. I received an email yesterday, 12/29, from Carparts stating that they had processed my refund in amount of $198.99, for the returned hood. I paid $323.99 for the hood and $200 for shipping, so a total of $523.99 for an item that I did not accept.
When asked why I was only getting $198.99 back, I was told that there was a "call tag" fee of $125 deducted from my refund and that shipping fees are non-refundable (I never got my $100 refund that was promised for not getting the hood on the date promised). So basically, I lost $325 to this company. An expense that I cannot, in good faith, pass along to my customer, nor would I want to as that would make no less a thief than Carparts. I wish that I had read the reviews for this company before ordering from them. I would never have done business with them in the first place, and you can be sure that I will never do business with them again. Honesty, trust, and good customer service go a LONG way in business.

After ordering from them for years without issue, I received and tried to return a damaged fender. The fender was packaged in a flimsy box that could not have reached me undamaged. The return required that I contact a third party for resolution. The third party (Extend) is a scam. They messaged me that they had refunded me, but no refund was ever done. I believe that CarParts.com knowingly sends customers to the third-party scam for refunds so that they do not have to honor their refund policy.

Paid for overnight shipping as I really needed what I ordered. Took 3 days to ship which is fine due to holiday, but then go to track my order and see it was not coming for 3 days because it was shipped standard. When I reached out they said "Sorry for the delay. We appreciate your patience." Never again will I order anything from them and I am without a car thanks to these bozos.

This web site is not good. They send the incorrect part then make it impossible to return to get your money back. Don't order from this web site. It's awful and the customer service is of no help. They don't care about having return customers. Their 30 day return policy is a joke especially since the website doesn't let you process the return. The Better Business Bureau has many complaints on this company. Take your business elsewhere. They sell junk.

I placed an order on Nov 30 and I have been waiting for my package to arrive. Today my package according to the email it arrived well. My cameras doesn't pick the mail man or anyone dropping or picking up the package. My mother-in-law is there 24-7 and here I'm with no package after waiting for 8 days.

Just ordered a mirror assembly. It arrived six days late. Upon install, the electric clip to attach the motor assembly did not fit the attachment clip from the other side. I provided the VIN from my car to match the part. If you are looking for a frustrating experience, you've found the right place.

CarParts has lost all my business. I will never buy any product from them, even if they are the only company who has what I need. They are rude and unreasonable when it comes to returning or even exchanging parts. They often send you the wrong parts but will never admit their mistake. They don't listen to you, but rather talk over you and make excuses. I'm done dealing with this inferior, poorly run company.

False advertising on shipping, you order, look at estimated shipping time, I order on 13th they said it be here the 15, now it's the 21st. THE only reason I order from CarParts was they advertised parts would here by the15th, STOP USING QUICK SHIPPING DATES TO LURE PEOPLE IN, then it 7 days later your order show up.

Nothing like talking to customer support where English is their second language. I could not understand what he was saying and asked him several times to repeat what he said and point blank said I did not understand what he was saying! Not his fault of course. It’s the company’s fault! Now add they sent the incorrect light bulbs for my new headlights and I hope no one orders from them!! Shame on them!

I ordered a mirror which I required in a timely manner and when I saw it sitting in the warehouse 3 days after order I requested cancellation, so customer service waited 2 days, when they shipped it, to respond they couldn’t cancel it now. The return instructions are almost threatening, to use their label or possibly wait months for refund “if they can find the part”. I used their label and the extra shipping box they required. They also waited until the part shipped to inform me it wasn’t what I ordered but another brand, so I was refunded $20 less than I paid, and I think they use shipping as revenue. Terrible company. Stay far away.

If I could give zero stars, I would. They advertise guaranteed fit, that’s a lie. When ordering my struts, I verified through their site the parts would fit my Honda accord. They also advertise fast shipping, they use Fed Ex, and it took a week, (was supposed to be 3 days), to receive 3 of the 4 struts. I had to call back and ask for a replacement on the strut I didn’t receive. I was told they would ship it fast bc of my lost item. Took another week to receive that struts. I trusted their site to have guaranteed figment. I was wrong for trusting them.
Unfortunately I had to wait on my mechanical, which put me past the 30 days return policy. (Mind you, it took two weeks just to receive my parts). Called their customer service dept, (which is overseas) with no help at all… they just kept going back to, “it’s past the 30 days”. Even though I proved to them that their site was wrong, they still said it didn’t matter, I could not get a refund… Save yourself some headaches, buy local. I will never use CarParts.com ever again. There’s no guarantee fit, no fast shipping, and a hassle for returns, if you can get one.

I ordered an upper control arm for my Ford Ranger. Carparts sent me the wrong part. I could not file a return for almost three weeks because it never showed up in my order history. Back and forth with emails, they were useless. Finally it showed up, and I filed for return. They never sent me the final return notice. After more emails, they tell me, 30 day return is up. They won't accept return, even though I've been going back and forth since day one. Absolute joke. Highly recommend avoiding this site.

Carparts.com sent me 4 rotors that did not fit my truck. They have a "guaranteed to fit" promise. When I received the parts I scheduled appt. with my mechanic. He took the 4 wheel off and discovered the rotors do not fit my vehicle. The next day it tried to return the rotors, but it was about 3 days over the 30 return limit. They should honor the "guaranteed to fit" promise. If I just wanted to return the items for no reason but to return them, I can understand not taking them back. When they send the wrong items it should be returnable. I will never buy from carparts.com again. They just lost a 20+ year customer. Don't trust them. Sometimes, thing can't always work within their 30 day window.

Ordered new headlights on September 29. They claimed they were delivered to my front door on October 2. I never received the headlights. Their LSO delivery service provides NO PHOTO PROOF OF DELIVERY that the items were delivered. Customer service told my I did not purchase the delivery insurance so I would have to file a police report. I have never heard of such a thing. Most irresponsible company I have ever dealt with. In the 7 years I have lived at this address I have never had anything stolen. I believe they use this "delivery insurance" as a way to not send items and claim they did hoping you will not jump through all the hoops to get your merchandise or money back. I will be filing a police report but this has been an incredible inconvenience. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY.

They sucker you in with the “Purchase in the next 12 hours to get it the next couple of days” tactic while charging you a hefty shipping fee. You’re lucky to receive anything 5-7 days later after they ship with the slowest USPS option available. Could be considered false advertisement. They also send you a message after your purchase stating that they are sending you items that you ordered with a different brand name on them from what you originally think you’re ordering (more than likely Chinese junk). Also could be considered false advertisement.

I ordered a replacement headlight for my 2017 Subaru Crosstrek. Instead of sending me the headlight, CarParts.com sent me a fog lamp trim. They refused to refund or exchange the part since it has been longer than 30 days. They screwed up and are hiding behind their 30 day exchange policy.

I ordered new brakes for my VW. We ended up getting rid of the vehicle before the brakes arrived, so I am attempting to return them. They are still sealed in the boxes they shipped them to me. I paid $466 for the brakes, and they are only willing to give me 250 in return plus I have to pay for shipping to send them back. Another 60 bucks or so. I understand a restocking fee, but 45% restocking fee is crazy and robbery. They say they will send you a label and take it out of your refund. I have tried to reach out to get the return label via email, call and chat. Email gets no response. Phone and chat you just wait on hold for 30-45 minutes. After 45 minutes I leave. So, I can't get a return label from them. Horrible customer service and overall rip off.

Hi I'm a customer for several different CarParts.com. I have received my parts but however I never use them because they are defective. I have return 2 different orders I purchased and emailed them the receipt for the returns. It's been 3weeks. I haven't received my refunds. I strongly believe that the owner of carparts should be investigated all car parts due to I am still waited on my refunds and I have received them talking about there are having system issues with their computers. They are liars. I recon that something need to be done immediately or I will be call my lawyer to sue carparts for non refundable and I never use the parts. I don't know what's the hold up. People be careful.

They are clearly representing as an American based company but too many "practices" & verbiage they use not including how can they process an order when they have your credit card information & email & everything else, but on the invoice they don't spell your very easy name correctly? They are not in US & it's a front for a NON American based COMPANY. Go to BBB & see all the complaints in just a 3 year time frame, with barely 10% ever closed.... Something's not right here.... Actually a lot isn't right here. They also try to automatically UPSELL for a warranty & expedited shipping & that's a JOKE when they can't spell or copy your last name correctly. Thankfully we used a card we know will IF parts not received or correct, charge them back. They are NOT A US BASED company., Just USING A US Based ADDRESS! BEWARE.

CarParts sent me the wrong part. It does not fit. The Return Process is a nightmare. They want you to wait 2 days after you submit a return request for the "next Step" in the process. I can't get a return label. If you call the customer service number, you will either be put on hold forever, or will receive busy signals. Communications suck. Customer service sucks. DO NOT do business with this company.

I purchased 2 parts from Carparts.com. I put my home address in for shipping and billing. They charged me $25 for shipping. The first part was delivered but not to my house. I tracked down where the item was shipped to and went to this address and was able to retrieve the part. The homeowner was very nice and I told her that I was probably going to get another part shipped to her address. I then contacted car parts website and on the chat help I explained the problem and that I wanted my shipping charges back. The computer told me that they could only refund me $10. Unacceptable. Their website enters a different address if it cannot find your address. Terrible customer service and inflexible customer service. I don’t recommend this company for your car parts

I bought a catalytic converter from CarParts.com because they advertised a warranty. That warranty was the main reason I trusted them and spent my money here. Unfortunately, when the part failed, the warranty turned into nothing but excuses and runaround. The converter broke at the neck and started leaking badly, making my car sound terrible. There was no accident, no road damage, no poor installation as they claimed in their response. The part was correctly installed and should have lasted years — instead it failed way too soon.
Rather than taking responsibility for a defective product, CarParts.com sent me a generic list of excuses like “road debris, corrosion, overheating, poor installation, or improper repairs.” NONE of this applies to my situation, and they know it. They even asked me to provide a “written diagnosis on paper” — a ridiculous way to avoid standing behind their warranty.
I am extremely angry and disappointed. CarParts.com clearly doesn’t stand behind their warranty. They make it sound good when you buy, but when you actually need it, they will look for any excuse not to honor it. I regret trusting them, and I want others to know before wasting money here. A company that hides behind excuses instead of honoring its warranty is not trustworthy. I will also be attaching pictures of the broken catalytic converter so people can see for themselves. Beware: CarParts.com does NOT back up their warranty promises.

We ordered parts and our card was charged, the following day we noticed there was a new charge on the card from them that was not authorized. When we called to ask they said that the parts are all coming from different places so they voided the 1st charge of 473.00 and they were changing all separate except the money for the 1st initial charge does not go back into the account for a couple of days so now we are being charged 473.00 twice and account has gone negative and all they have to say is oh I'm sorry, NEVER AGAIN will we order from them. I would rather pay a little more money and not have my account all messed up without them even saying a word to us. It is not my fault the parts are coming from multiple locations and now they have to pay each one separately.

Almost immediately after placing my order, I received an email saying they were switching out the brand of one of my parts to JC Whitney. If I would have wanted JC Whitney parts, I would have shopped at JC Whitney. Also, the website claimed that if it ordered within the next 1 hour and 47 minutes, I would have the items within a certain timeframe. As the tracking information rolled in, NOT A SINGLE PART would arrive within the promised timeframe even though I was charged almost $100 for shipping. I will definitely never shop here again and I strongly encourage others to think twice.

I do not recommend buying from this site. I bought 2 pieces and only 1 arrived. I spent more than 1 month claiming my money and they kept telling me that the problem was with FedEx, or that I should extend the shipping protector, and nothing about my money until I got really annoyed and in every claim I sent evidence of every action I took, even from the chats because I called and never got in touch with anyone. The emails only said they had a lot of message volume and that i should wait or call, and I called and nothing. The only thing that worked was the chat on the platform and after more than 5 times. This is my experience, it doesn't have to be yours. But I will not buy again.

Instead I got an email that said "CarParts.com has experienced a delay in shipping, and they are currently working to rectify it." I got many emails like this and the last one on Aug 6. I want to know where my order is and who is the shipper. There's no way to contact a live person!

The insurance is a waste of your money and time. Bought over 300 in parts, only received half and NO cared I lost with the insurance. Wished I could show my pictures of damages. No help, they only wanted a police report two weeks later. I lose so will you!! Called many times, no one gave a shit!

Their listing in misleading and untrustful. I ordered and paid for part they have listed on July 21st. They did charge my PayPal account (immediately!) just to send an e mail canceling my order 2 days later. "Sorry out of stock". Really? This kind of behavior initiated in covid time by some vendors, where they would list in original low price just to cancel your order once they find out the prices has gone up by some other venders, a shameful (if not illegal) business practice. They have refused refund after canceling order and refused to respond to emails. Eventually I had to file claim through PayPal to get my refund.

I ordered a part for my car. It came. I got in a bad accident that totaled my car before I had a chance to install the part. Because I called in over 30 days past the order (dealing with the accident aftermath), they would not allow the return after dragging me along for weeks. CarParts.com lists their parts cheap, but they rip you off on shipping. I bought an oil filter for 4.99 and with shipping it was 19.33, I bought a PCV valve for 14.00 and with shipping it was 29.00, I also bought an air filter for 7.99 and with shipping it was 19.92. Customer service is terrible, they say they will get back to you with in 24 to 48 hrs. and I never heard from them.

Worst customer service! I placed an order and they claim PayPal gave them the shipping address. When I went to paypal the correct shipping address was there. My part was charged 10% sales tax and shipped quickly to the wrong address. I called immediately after I placed the order due to the wrong shipping address, Rep said they would cancel the order and I would get a confirmation email that order was canceled. Never happened. Tried the chat, after 18 minutes of waiting I tried to answer but was chat didn't work so they disconnected. Tried again, it just went away. Called again. Said they were too busy, they would call me back. Never happened. Also sent 2 emails to cancel order, never heard back! Worst company I've dealt with! Would love to give them NEGATIVE STARS!

I ordered a tail light for my car after someone hit the car and drove off. I placed the order on a Thursday. The order wasn’t filled and shipped until Sunday. It arrived on Wednesday busted up. The bubble wrap covering the part was super cheap. The box was a very weak recycled box. There’s no way a part could have survived shipping. I immediately reported and provided pictures just for them to say we don’t replace damaged parts if you don’t buy the insurance. This is a scam. I wouldn’t Need the dang insurance if you properly wrapped the part you shipped. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It took them a Week to respond to my return request.

There is always one more hoop to jump through to return parts. They stretch the process out until the 30 day limit is reached and parts can no longer be returned. I started the process the day after I got the parts. They sent an email saying 48 to 72 hours then I would get a response. Five days later I got a text asking if everything was fine. I responded that I had not received an RMA to return the parts. This went on and on over several texts and several emails. Finally the 30 days was up and I could no longer return the parts. I will never use Carparts.com again.

Two replacement Headlight Assemblies were ordered with the associated EXTEND warranty. The individual parts were delivered promptly albeit three days apart , no issues. Upon opening the boxes, one was in perfect condition however it was obvious that one box had been opened before and the part was not repackaged correctly, as shown in the pictures. That part was damaged with loose pieces on the inside of the assembly. The outside of that box had no damage however it had a misplaced strip of packing tape affixed, I removed that and discovered it concealed a previous carparts RMA Return mailing sticker. It was obvious that someone had simply covered the RMA and then sent the package to me.
I took several pics and filled out the return claim with a very good explanation of the issue. Several days passed, I received an email that stated my return was denied because I had not purchased the warranty and that damage during shipping would not be a valid claim, they would not RMA or replace the damaged part due to neglect on my part. It is very difficult to contact sales or customer service, the phone number provided is not a live conversation and is computer generated. I have replied to the Customer Service and Sales Dept in an attempt to remediate the issue. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. Their business practices are unscrupulous and border on fraud. You have been warned.

I would give these guys zero stars if it was an option. Absolutely horrible experience. Was charged nearly $40 to have something delivered next day, which didn't happen. Then package shows shipped for 3 days but carrier has no record of receiving it, but you try to contact Customer Service to find out what is going on with your order and you get ZERO response or you are left on hold so long you give up. I went to Carparts.com because they seemed to be a trusted site for fast delivery, great car parts, and had amazing descriptions about the products. Unfortunately the process of getting an alternator for my 2016 Honda CRV has been nothing but a nightmare. The site said I’d get the part in a few days and it’s been nearly a week now. Took a few days for FedEx to even get the part and customer service with this company has been the worst! When you ask them to cancel the order they won’t do it even after claiming fedex has the package, which they didn’t because I called fedex to ask.
Next carparts said they’d reroute the package so I could get my refund and not have to pay to return it, that was also a lie because it’s still showing that it’s now on its way to come here even after I told them I was paying to get the part locally. I will NEVER buy another part from this site mainly because the customer service is beyond terrible and they will just steal your money and make you pay even more just to return something. Liars and cheats! Just pay the extra money to get it from your local car parts stores people.

Avoid giving your money to this dishonest company. I bought an A/C kit with the compressor, evaporator, accumulator, and more. My garage couldn't fit me in for over 30 days, and then I discovered the dryer was the wrong part. Multiple calls to their so-called customer service only resulted in a $10 voucher offer for my next purchase. I would have to eat the $24.99 for the wrong accumulator, research and order the correct one for $27.99 plus shipping, and only receive a $10 discount? Why should I give them more money when they sent the wrong part and I still don't have A/C in my truck? I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere and warning friends and colleagues to avoid these scammers.

I purchase car parts from several online vendors - keeping in mind that sometimes if it is too good to be true it just may be so I stay away from those types of sellers. However, I also try to stay with OEM parts or quality reputable parts that are reasonably priced. CarParts.com has some quality parts that are reasonably priced but as been mentioned in other reviews, the shipping needs improvement.
I ordered a throttle body on a Monday - and it showed that it would arrive in 2 days - then came the delays - Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday is when it finally arrived 6 days after it should have arrived. Unfortunately, I could not wait as my car was down until the part arrived so I purchased the same throttle body on Ama... and got it on Sunday and was back on the road in time for work. So, I returned the Throttle Body for a refund. I recently ordered a tail light assembly for my other car but was not in a rush to get it as the one I had was functional. Again, same issue - said it would arrive in 2 days - took another 6 days to arrive. My advice here is that if you need a car part just know that it will take a lot longer to arrive than you are quoted.

Despite never placing an order, they took it upon themselves to ship parts to us without authorization after submitting quotes through Parts Trader. This is completely unacceptable and borders on fraud. The entire situation has been a massive inconvenience and shows a clear lack of professionalism and accountability. I was advised that their accounting office was notified today, but that was supposed to be done more than 7 days ago. Carparts.com does not follow its own return and refund policy. The reason I'm waiting is supposedly because my refund is over $400. They made no note of this new thing in their own policy manual which is unacceptable.

Purchase 2 items from Carparts. Axles for my Toyota Sienna. Thought I was going to save money but got all the headaches of the savings. One part got delivered in a timely manner. However, the second part that was purchased with the same order was lost and delivered to a complete different city. Carpart blame FedEx. FedEx blames Carparts. As a consumer, I have lost money and time. Carparts washed their hands and said there is nothing they can do as I didn’t purchase shipping protection… keeping in mind that I overspend on guaranteeing the parts for breakage. I would just spend the extra cash on a reliable platform or dealer than buying from this people. Never again.

I ordered an exhaust system from CarParts.com, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. The tracking information hasn’t updated since May 14th, and the package clearly isn’t moving. I reached out to customer service, and their response was infuriating: they admitted the package was stalled but refused to refund me or replace the item because I didn’t buy their “Shipping Protection Plan.”
Let me get this straight—CarParts.com takes your money, the item never shows up, and unless you paid them extra just to do the bare minimum (deliver what you paid for), they wash their hands of all responsibility. That’s a scam, plain and simple. Their so-called “customer service” is useless. They acknowledge there’s a problem and then immediately hide behind their fine print like cowards. Any reputable company would take care of its customers, but CarParts.com just blames the buyer and calls it a day. I’ve filed a complaint with the BBB, and I urge anyone reading this to think twice before doing business with this shady operation. If something goes wrong—and believe me, it might—you’re completely on your own. Never again.

I have never bought any items on this website until now. This has been a big disappointment. The product was horrible that didn't even fit my car, and the cost of the product was very expensive. The shipping was massive and when the product came, they wanted to use adhesive to secure it. When I sent it back they charged me almost 40.00 to send it back. I have been waiting for over 2 months to get a refund and they keep promising me but it still hasn't happened.

I had an issue with a bumper I ordered (new bumper had rust under the powder coating). Customer service reached out to me and communicated quickly and resolved the issue fast. I was upset with the product, but customer service went over the top to correct the situation. I would not hesitate to order anything from them in the future. My husband ordered a rack & pinion for my 2014 Nissan Armada and we’re on our third one from this company because each one has been shipped with no fragile stickers on the box and no cushioning inside so each one has come in unusable because the hard line becomes compressed so badly. Each time they’ve used FedEx for shipping and as much as I’d blame them it’s Car Parts that sends out a fragile part like this so recklessly using no protection whatsoever for something that is actually fragile and easily damaged. We will never order again from this company time is money and the time we’ve had to wait each time we ordered has pushed back our repair by weeks now. Insanity!

Ordered on the 6th. Was told by everyone including them that it would be there on the 11th after I was lead to believe under false pretenses that the part would be here 3 days from purchase up on what I was told when purchasing all the way up until after I purchased it. Well the 11th rolls around no part to be seen. Everything's telling me it will be delivered on the 11th today but no part. The next day no part then I was given the runaround by the people saying that the courier had still not picked it up. The courier is the United States postal service. Pretty sure they run every single day. That's not all though.
I received a text message from a California number which has nothing to do with this company whatsoever then being in Jacksonville Florida the same place that the label was awaiting to be picked up by the courier just so happens. So back to the California number which randomly is linked to a web page that says that it is United States postal service but has the welcome word spelled incorrectly so yeah pretty sure that the USPS does not misspell words on their web page but last time I checked I don't know I could be wrong so not only are they liars and they take forever but also they are giving out your information or the website is hacked and my information got hacked through their website so I would leave them alone all together. Buyer beware!!!!

This is one of the worst scam companies ever. I truly despise how America allows places like this to exist. First of all they want to charge you extra for a level of shipping protection that should be offered in general for free. Second of all they send heavy Auto Parts with absolutely no protection in the box or tape around the Staples in the Box, which ultimately bust open during shipping. They then ignore you when you bring multiple issues to them regarding the trash they are selling. To add insult to pathetic, the parts that they advertise to be a direct fit are absolutely not. Not only are they not a direct fit they aren't even remotely compatible. This is a true piss poor scam that everyone should avoid no matter how small or big the item.

I placed an order for a passenger door mirror on March 22nd. At that time the delivery date was March 25th. Once I placed the order and received confirmation the shipping date was changed to Thursday, March 27th. On Saturday March 29th, I tracked the package and it had NOT even left the facility or been picked up by the USPS. Only the label was created. That is one whole week. The positive side is a called customer service to cancel the order and receive a full refund, which they did no problem. They gave no excuse, nor did they attempt to rectify the situation. I missed a state inspection appointment because I did not receive this part and now can not drive the car without risk of a ticket, until I re-order the part (yes I told the customer service person this). Such an inconvenient blunder should have resulted in an attempt to quickly fill the order at a steep discount, but alas nothing. So now have to find another place to order the part.

I recently purchased fenders from CARPARTS, and unfortunately, they arrived damaged. Within 2 HOURS of receiving them, I contacted their customer service to arrange a return and have the same 2 fenders sent to me. The process was frustrating and unhelpful—staff were unresponsive, and I was told "Glad you took out the damage warranty or there would be nothing we could do". I was told that since I did take out the insurance, I had to contact the claims department and file a claim. But they would be glad to let me order and PAY for 2 more. I wouldn’t recommend this company if you value reliable service!

I called on 3/13/25 to order part REPS010359PQ. Order #**. Was told they were in stock & should receive in 3-5 bus days. On 3/17 tried to get a tracking number only to be told the order was cancelled-out of stock. Spoke with a sup who said they could send email when in stock & can always check back. On 3/20/25 called & was told they just got a shipment of 14. The rep took my $ and gave me order #CSC**. Asked for an extra discount for not getting an email about in stock and he did extra 10%. Later that night I noticed an email - once again cancelling my order! The next day, 3/21/25, I called and they assured me they had 14 in stock, took my cc payment again & gave me order #CSC**. It was shown processed in our account - but never showed a tracking (was told 3-5 business days) so 3/24/25 I called again. I was told there were only 4 in stock, but then they could not explain why my order was 'stuck' and not being processed.
I was to be transferred to a supervisor but the rep hung up on me instead. I called back and spoke with Sig in sales - I insisted that he does not touch the order - to leave it as it is & that I want to speak with a supervisor. He assured me someone would call me in 15 minutes. Here it is over an hour later, and I see that they cancelled my order AGAIN, no supervisor has called & I am dealing with Pete, who states he works in the main office in Torrance & literally lied about it as he could not tell me the street name & has a foreign accent. He keeps putting me on hold while trying to get a supervisor. He keeps trying to get me to get a call back & insists that is the only way even though I keep telling him they never call back. I was on the phone with him for 42 minutes. Pete told me he sees 2 in stock. Finally I succumbed and said have a sup call me back.

More than not, when I place an order for car parts, the delivery date is more important than the price. When a company states an item will arrive by a certain date, you expect it to arrive on that date. Delays happen, but when you contact a company on the date you should receive your package and they need 24-48 hours to give you an update because it is still in their warehouse, this is unacceptable. They offered a discount, but it wasn't even the amount I paid for shipping so I cancelled the order and my account.

They first provided a fake tracking number. When confronted they sent another tracking number. Two days later their site showed the product was sent and was getting delivered. However, the tracking number they provided from USPS showed the product was never sent. We contacted USPS and they said they had never received the package, this is three days after they said they sent it. So technically yet another fake tracking number. No product was shipped or received. Under no circumstances we will accept a charge from this company.

***WARNING TO CONSUMERS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY*** If I could give a ZERO score I would. I ordered in total of $2995.61 worth of parts. Grille was damaged. Driver and passenger door inlays were damaged. Headlights were damaged. Missing parts not delivered. Overcharged for quantity of parts not needed and not sent. Customer service is outsourced to Manila, Philippines. The missing parts totaled $53.98. The overcharged parts totaled $102.49. After an entire day on the phone (8am past 5pm, multiple calls throughout the day) and having to tell the same story over and over again, the supervisor advised me she could not fix the issue and gave me a laundry list of "fine print" and "against our policy" reasons why she would not send the parts I PAID FOR that never came. I was so upset I forgot to even continue to address the part I was overcharged for.
They would NOT send the parts that I ordered and PAID FOR because I did not purchase the extra protection insurance. During the last call, they said if I would have purchased the extra VIP Membership for an extra $79 per year they would have been able to resolve my issues (plural). It is an absolute shameful way to operate a business. DO NOT BUY PARTS FROM THIS COMPANY! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If you do business with them, you best buy all the extra insurance, memberships, AND check every single part you order to assure it is delivered or that you weren't overcharged for multiple quantities of parts you WILL NOT GET. Make sure your parts aren't damaged.
FYI, they will be. Also, be prepared to spend an entire day on the phone with a poor connection to the call center in Manila speaking to people fielding your concerns with a script of policy rebuttals that make resolution a unicorn. Absolute nightmare. Save yourself the trouble and aggravation. Good luck if you choose otherwise.

I ordered some parts for my husband's larger SUV and they were all shipped on the same day. The first box arrived quickly, but the second box was delayed several days (not CarParts.com's fault, it was Fedex). When the box arrived, it was damaged and the plastic covering the threading of one part was cracked, but the part didn't have any visual damage. When the mechanic tried to put the part on the threading prevented anything from being secured to it. I attempted to make a return but was told that since it was likely damaged from shipping, and I didn't buy their additional shipping insurance, they won't do anything about it. So much for the hassle-free returns advertised all over their website.
As a matter of fact, I went back in to reorder the part and saw that there is a small blurb with the protection option that they will not accept returns for damages without it, however this is not stated anywhere on the returns page so it's a bit misleading that things can easily be swapped out. I also wasn't expecting a heavy part that requires a protective cap to be thrown in a box with another heavy part and ABSOLUTELY NO PACKING MATERIALS. The sad part is that I bought the part as part of a package so now I am paying significantly more for the replacement (since it's an individual item) than I did for the original.

I only gave a two star rating because Carparts.com uses fedex to deliver their products. Fedex is a horrible delivery company. Carparts was swift getting my part shipped to me. But fedex ,yet again, was extremely slow getting my order to me.They gave me no reasons for the delays. Just kept saying it will be the next day, then the next day, then the next day. Four days in a row. It happens every time they are used.

I purchased a set of brakes and rotors for my wife's 2015 Dodge Durango on 1/4/25. Carparts.com "guaranteed fit" was one of the big selling points for me. I'm not a mechanic, just a handy DIY type. I trusted that the site algorithm would populate the correct parts for my vehicle based on the information I input. To make a long story shorter, I had to return the parts as they weren't correct. I had a couple of conversations with some management about my particular issues and was told I would receive a refund upon returning the products.
I returned the products as instructed, and verified the delivery of the parts on 2/3/25. I still haven't received my refund as of today, 2/14/25. When I called yesterday to inquire about the refund, I was told that they have a seven business day refund policy. I pointed out that we were beyond that and was told that because of a higher than normal return request volume, it would take two or three additional business days. I have a really hard time understanding how businesses get away with these types of policies? When you place an order the business expects prompt payment or no product/service. Yet, when it comes to issuing refunds they "drag their feet" as much as possible... really doesn't seem fair.

I bought a Rotor and brake pad kit together. Price wasn't bad. However any say CARPARTS.com has fast shipping I would question that. First they didn't ship this as a kit. They shipped it in three different shipments. The rotors have come first, 4 days after purchase okay not fast but not slow either, the pads however altar have not been delivered and still in transit. For 4 days they bounced around in Jacksonville from one post office to the next. It has now been 10 days after my order and still no pads. They are somewhere in GA. And I live in Nashville, so at least another 4 days before I am going to receive them. Then I can have them install on my car. That I haven't been able to drive for 2 weeks!! I recommend Rock auto or better yet your local parts store, O'Reilly's or NAPA!! You might pay a little more but you differently will have your parts quickly. Never again.

I double checked and they had the correct address and town but instead delivered to the wrong town which the wrong address was an empty lot. I think they just stole the car part. I reported it but between carparts.com and the delivery they said they can’t do anything to help. Now I am just out the $200.

Package lost, had to reach out to Carparts support chat/phone 4 times. Thankfully, I had the shipping protection, however even that was time consuming, issue still ongoing. Extend (shipping protection) denied my first claim, then after submitting again it was approved. I selected a bank transfer, because I did not want a carparts gift card (we urgently need part). Extend, then sent me an email with a link to a carparts gift card, which was wrong. So again, more time spent reaching out to Extend support. All this time, CarParts was showing my package was delivered, even though the tracking information said otherwise. Estimated delivery date provided by car parts was January 24th. This is shown on my order confirmation. 1st claim denied on Jan 31st, stating it had to be 5 days past estimated delivery date, it was past 5 days (still denied). The 2nd claim submitted on Feb 3rd was approved, but now I am still dealing with to resolve the payment method.

They have a strict 30 day return policy. If you input your VIN and buy a guaranteed to fit part, make sure you install it within 30 days because it's not guaranteed to fit any longer. I've ordered from them three times. All three were delayed. Two of the parts worked fine. One was the wrong part. Started a chat and was told that they don't accept returns beyond 30 days.

I ordered a part I needed fast and chose CarParts.com because they gave a delivery time within my time frame of needing the part. They delayed the delivery three times because they waited too long to mail it for me to get it in time. I had to go elsewhere and get it locally, as well as pay more for the part. I placed my order, what I ordered was not in stock so they upgraded my order so it could be fulfilled. I was pleasantly surprised at this but then the shipment arrived. I only received 4 of the 6 I ordered and no spark plugs. The spark plugs, were apparently shipped from somewhere else (I never received an update on this until I talked to customer service). I have been waiting for these parts so I can get my vehicle running. When I talked with customer service and inquired about my order, I was told they could either cancel my order, wait for a investigation and they could send me the parts. They then said they had no other parts to send me so I could only cancel. So now I have had to wait 11 days to get my parts and now have to ship them back and find someone else to order from. Not impressed.

I ordered a kit (KIT-**) and wanted to get installed when it came, started to put parts in and the grill didn't come with retainer clips, called customer support, told me to source them locally and they would reimburse me for them... did as they said and got installed next day.. called back to customer support, had to argue for 30 mins to get them to pay for parts that I bought locally and was told would be reimbursed by first customer service rep....parts are all thinner plastic than OEM, but fit... I will probably source parts from another supplier next time.

I was charged an extra amount of 259.79$ on December 18th after my original purchase of 328.76$ on December 17th for shocks and struts 6 pc. I hope to receive my money soon. How else will I put on the shocks on. I need to pay my mechanic. If not I will have to file the bank for a temporary credit. I need my money asap. Now come to find out after digging for hours you guys have a long history of that with your clients. I have proof. I am very disappointed with the service!

Gonna give them a 1 star because when I ordered my parts was supposed to receive it Monday. Didn't get notified by them until like 8 Monday evening that it was a delay until Wednesday. Well Wednesday comes and I call Carparts and they assured me I would definitely have the parts I needed to drive my vehicle by 9 that day.... We'll guess what it's after 9 and still no parts. I've never had this issue before and the only reason I ordered from them to begin with is because I needed them immediately. Should have ordered elsewhere.

I order 178.00 in parts. It was 2 kits or 4 items per kit. Days after my order they sent me email saying they couldn't produce part of the order and said a different company would sent me the parts. Another week goes by and 3 of the 8 total parts arrived all in 1 box. According to tracking info, all items have arrived. I've called and emailed with no results or resolution. Just very disappointed all the way around.

I had to order new control arms for my Jeep. Both boxes were severely damaged during shipping. I called to let them know what happened and I ended up returning the parts. I then placed another order for new control arms hoping they would come in a box that wasn't torn to shreds but unfortunately that was not the case. I bought front fender liners assuming it is fairly generic and was I ever wrong. This company sent me parts that would maybe fit a side by side in comparison to a full size truck. I reached out unfortunately after the 30 day return window due to being out of town for work... that did not matter. I will NEVER buy anything from this company again. Customer service is trash along with description of the parts they're trying to pawn off. I guess they don't understand that life happens and 30 days isn't always enough time to figure out that a company is not honest. I will go out of my way from here on out to make sure nobody wastes their money on this trash company. Do better. I would leave 0 stars if that was an option. As a business owner I would be ashamed of the people working for me with this sort of incompetency.

I ordered couple of parts for my old Honda Accord. The original parts from Honda including the labor for installation. We are going upwards of $800. The value of my car itself is not that high to spend $800 to fix couple of parts. So I started exploring options and came across Carparts.com. Initially, I was skeptical but eventually went ahead to order the parts I needed based on the assurance of fit to guarantee as well as return policy in case it doesn't work.
To my surprise, the parts came for less than $100 including taxes and shipping charges and they fitted in the car perfectly without any trouble. In fact, I was able to do the installation on my own using some YouTube videos. The parts I ordered were passenger side tail light assembly and passenger side rearview mirror. I strongly recommend using Carparts.com for any car part replacement.

I ordered 2x and both came in late. 1st order came in late and parts was damaged due to the way how they pack a fragile item. They shipped it in a brown envelope with not much to protect the item. 2nd order I paid for next day delivery. Fedex tracking stated that label created. Customer service call center who is not here in the State does not seem know or understand how to ready the step-by-step tracking. Created label does not mean that Fedex has the shipment. This will be my last order from them. I’ll order direct with Mercedes next time. Unfortunately, my order will not arrive on the day that I paid extra shipping for.

Ordered a set of wheel hubs for a 2013 Mini Cooper S. The parts they sent actually bolted to the car but have the set screw hole on the wrong side of the lug bolt holes. I called to get the correct parts and they wanted to argue about the parts sent even with the photos showing otherwise. I asked that they ensure the set screw was on the right side of the lug hole and was told “if you get the wrong ones again just send them back”. They set up to resend 2 of the 4 needed (front hub vs rear hub) and cancelled the other two. I called to find out about the cancelled parts and was told they are “out of stock”. I asked them to cancel the entire order and I would order them from someone else. They refused to cancel the order and they are now on their way from Jacksonville, FL so I can refuse delivery. Poor parts, worse customer service… Wouldn’t recommend to my enemies even.

Carparts.com sold me a window switch on their website that they do not stock and then when I finally called on the day, it was supposed to arrive. They told me it was out of stock. Now I’m on day two of trying to get a refund from them. I had to file a claim with PayPal. They’re telling me that I have to wait two weeks before I can get the refund through PayPal but all Carparts.com offers me is customer service in the Philippines, which is 100% useless. I would not use this company for anything ever. They may have been a good company in the past, but those days are over.

Wish I could say that everything is great with the company. I do like their customer service. Their one downfall in my opinion is the shipping, I've constant issues with my most recent orders. Buyer Beware. My first and last purchase - I recently purchased a real taillight from them for a Mercedes-Benz E350. Unfortunately I received the wrong part. I paid for the shipping costs but, FedEx failed to update the tracking information so, the item appeared to be lost in transit. Carparts.com shipped out a duplicate order (same wrong part, still).
The initial order finally arrived. Late. Upon opening the box, I found that there was no packing material and there was a chunk missing from the plastic taillight lens. The part wasn't useable nor resalable. The company rather than refunding, chose to refund the shipping cost, then the cost of the part but, failed to refund the sales tax. Getting a refund was a feat in and of itself. I finally had to Google the CEO's email information and complained about the antiquated processes and shoddy delivery service. The replacement item did have packing material but, the box showed exterior signs of damage and had been crushed while in transit. So, for these reasons, I'm out, no more Carparts.com for me.

It's easy for them to take your money after a purchase. My order was suppose take 3 days to deliver and that turned into 2 weeks. I should've went thru Amazon. I learned my lesson. Then they use FedEx. FedEx delivers when they want to. They don't care about fake delays and making excuses. My order was only 1 hour away and that 1 hour turned into 7 days. Then the tracking is terrible. When it tell me my order should be here on the 13th but then end up being here on the 20th. I was counting on my order to be here on the date they said not a week after that date. I will never do business with them again.

They are friendly and nice, but aren't reptuable. Electronic items are typically sent in a plastic bag. One brake stop light switch I purchased had the box crushed and the item floating inside the bag and damaged. Once they have your money, they don't take care of the purchase until you get it, and cheap out on providing any packing at all. The item would be in better condition if I had purchased it locally, tied it to the bumper of my car and dragged it home! When contacting support, they didn't understand the problem. I was finally able to get them to start a refund, but now have to spend more time to wait for a label, box this up and drive it around town. Can't recommend this company and their lack of customer respect by not protecting their purchases after they have your money.

I ordered a part for my vehicle on the suggestion of my son. He said that the parts did not normally take long so I should try them. The part I ordered sat in the UPS office, less than an hour away from my home for 4 days. I get a text from CarPart on the 4th day stating the part would not arrive for another 3 days. I could walk and get the part by then myself. This was very terrible business. I am losing hundreds of dollars without my vehicle. This company is the worst. If you cannot deliver then say that you cannot deliver. I was told 2 day delivery and now it's a week and a half. I will never refer anyone to this company. I will never spend another cent with this company. You should refund my money and send the part for free. So unprofessional. You get what you pay for and I paid for trashy business. They do not deserve any stars in my book.

I should have known better because of the price but the picture and description looked and sounded good. It said that this one fits my truck. When I received the package it looked like the right one but after my mechanic pulled the old mirror off the electrical connector was different. He said he could change their connector with the one on the old mirror and make it work. He did the change and reinstalled the mirror. It looked fine but when I drove off I noticed a distorted view in the middle of the mirror. The edges are fine but the middle of the mirror is distorted. It looks like it is not real glass. Due to the fact that we had to change out the electrical connector it is not returnable. It was priced cheap and now I know why.

As pointed out in different consumer protector agencies such as BBB and others, Carparts is a stupid scammer and nobody should trust them at all. When I purchased the item, the delivery day was set for Tuesday but today Fedex told me it is scheduled for Saturday. To discloses your address and other information to these scammers is very dangerous. Warn other people about these scammers and write review and expose them.

First of all keep in mind that they put a hold on your card for the full amount of your order. They then charge you for shipments sent to you, they then release the full amount they held back to you. If they make 2 shipments to complete your order they split the charges. Be sure you can cover twice the amount (for a few days).
ALSO, the header kit for my truck quite plainly showed the grille assembly, the header, AND the 4 headlamp retainer clips. The clips were not in the shipment. I did a chat with customer service (such as it is) and pointed out that their website clearly showed the retainer clips with the kit. There was no disclaimer that the clips were not included. They basically admitted the website was deceptive and needed fixing. I asked for the clips and they refused, but offered me a $15.00 credit. I bought the clips elsewhere and they cost me $60.00 plus $18.00 shipping. It will be a cold day in h--l before I ever do business with them again.

It didn’t end up getting processed til Friday and by that time I was already missing a day's worth of work because I was unable to drive my car. Carparts.com is a scam that takes your money, immediately says your parts are on the way, then says there's a 5 day delay, but since it's already in transit, no cancellation. Total scam for anyone running a business, do not believe them. You basically pay them to find your parts which they will eventually find and send whenever they want. They do not stock anything it comes from NAPA.

I purchased from Carparts website because it said to expect delivery on 8/26, then I followed UPS tracking saying delivery today 8/30, now UPS tracking is suggesting don't expect delivery until next week by USPS. Why didn't Carparts.com just hand this to USPS last Saturday 8/24 and I would have received it last Tuesday or Wed. My Truck has been down a week after the key broke off, and I've been stuck at home, out in the middle of nowhere, 25 miles to town. I'm REALLY frustrated with Carparts now. REALLY FRUSTRATED that it's unlikely I will get this lock, and having a running truck again till the middle of next week. POOR SERVICE.

I purchased 3 items from Carparts.com. They claimed that they shipped it to GLS. When I called GLS I was told that Carparts.com never sent anything to be delivered. I had to spend a lot of money because they refused to ship my items for my company vehicle. Carparts.com is a fraud.

I am appalled by your standards for business practices which are criminal! I accidentally ordered something on Saturday and was in contact with your cancellation department immediately after. You all sent an email today saying it was too late to cancel. This is fraudulent behavior and you are seeking to cause financial harm and distress to your customers. I know I am not the only one experiencing this issue and I will assure you that I will have a class action lawsuit against Carparts.com in a couple of weeks. I am going to use the full extent of the law to ensure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I will get legal representation and I am also a certified paralegal so you will be hearing from me. Certified Mazda technician. Ordered a power steering pump from them and the first one was leaking. Sent that one back and got a refund. Ordered a second one and that one didn’t work at all. Sent that one back and only received a refund for the core. It’s not the core. It’s the original part they sent me that was bad. After going back and forth with these people I still have no refund and they keep saying I sent a core back and that’s all they’ll refund me for. Ended up having to buy the part directly from Mazda. So I'm out $320 and time for bad parts I don’t have. Scam!

I wouldn't give these guys even 1 star. For one thing the part was damaged when received, and now since I've returned it it's been 2 weeks since they have had the part back, and no refund. Their site says 7 days, and they don't even abide by that. Now they are giving me a bunch of excuses for my refund, don't buy from this company. They are scammers and fraudsters.

They saved the day. The body shop I was using couldn’t get the correct color of door handle because none of their approved vendors had it. Carparts.com is a joke! The delivery time is a joke and customer service pisses on your back and tell you it's raining. Worst customer service. The worst shipping of any company I've ever dealt with. My package just came from all over United States separately. It's been over a week and still don't have All of my parts. Between this company and FedEx, you got two of the worst companies to deal with. FedEx should be called snail delivery, and carparts should be Mistake. Don't waste your time. You better off buying junk Somewhere else.

I paid an extra $25 for next-day delivery and my order clearly indicated a delivery date of 8/17/24. I received an email confirmation at 11:48 AM, well within the cutoff time for next day air. However, upon receiving the tracking number, I discovered that the earliest delivery date was pushed to the following Monday, 8/19/24. I was unable to contact anyone over the weekend due to their closure.
Upon checking the tracking on Monday, I found that the part had not even shipped, further delaying the delivery to 8/20/24. When I contacted customer service, they only refunded the difference between next-day delivery and standard shipping, citing a "delay at the warehouse." Needless to say, I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and will not be doing business with Carparts.com in the future.

Guaranteed fit is a scam! Bought a "guaranteed fit" CV axle for my car. Ended up having loud noise from it and my auto mechanic confirmed that the CV axle is not fitting this model even if it was easy and possible to install. Having a 675$ invoice from the car mechanic now, because he not only had to replace the CV axle again, but due to the wrong part also the wheel bearing got bad and needed replacement. Carparts.com is refusing from taking over any of the costs they caused with their "guaranteed fit" part that did not fit. They only take back the CV axle I bought with them, but the other costs they caused they don't care about.

I ordered parts for my van and was sent the wrong part. I contacted Carparts.com that day and they authorized a return. They sent the parts to me in two boxes taped together, but they sent two return labels, so I had to separate the boxes, no big deal. They received my return on the 29th of July. I know this because I had the tracking numbers. After several calls and emails, I finally found out they had them at their facility. 16 days passed and no refund or email from them other than one saying they had to "inspect the parts and see if they met their quality standards". I made several inquiries and received the same copy pasted message "Parts must be inspected to see if the meet quality standards". Today I'm told it could be up to 30 days before I find out if they will refund me. They have the new unused parts, they have my money. I have nothing. I will not do business with them again, price is no good if all you do is pay for nothing.

I ordered 02 sensors for my truck, 2 upstream, 2 downstream. They took 5 days to deliver. Upon getting it, I noticed there was 4 upstream. This is when I installed new catalytic converters, I was not going to put 4 bad ones on and wait 4 days for replacement! All you get is "I'm sorry!" It's 110 in Vegas and not to have a car? No competition whatsoever was offered.

I bought a set of valances for my car and paid for them in full at the time of purchase. Two days later I noticed a debit from them for another nearly two hundred dollars. I called my bank and filed a dispute because as I said they were already paid for. After filing the dispute the bank gave me a temporary credit for the amount. Today I get a notice from the bank telling me that they are in the process of removing the temporary credit because they have heard nothing from Carparts.com about this.
In calling Carparts I get nothing but a runaround. I cannot understand why they had to take more money when this was already paid for. I will do anything possible to make sure I receive my money back. I have had nothing but hassle with these guys since I put this order in. The shipping was late and came in two different shipments when it was supposed to come together so it caused a delay in fixing my car. I have never dealt with a more incompetent companion my life. I've ordered online from numerous places and never had the problems that I have had with Carparts. My advice is if you can find what you need somewhere else even if it costs more than that's what you need to do. It will be a cold day in hell before I ever do business with this incompetent place ever again. Don't make this mistake. I would give it zero stars if I could. My order number was **. This place is ridiculous.

I ordered on 8/01 for a delivery 8/03. My package never arrived. I called and spoke with a representative of Carparts to cancel my order on 8/04. My parts at this time was still at the shipper. Representative told me my order have been canceled and I should receive my refund in 2-3 business days. It's 8/06 no refund. I called representative back. Only to be told it was too late to cancel my order is out for delivery "huh". My package never arrived and I can't get a refund without the package. They SCAM TO GET YOUR MONEY. Read other reviews on their service I'm not the only one. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Do not buy from this company. Parts come in separate deliveries and if returned the buyer pays shipping even after company sends prepaid labels to you. They say it takes 7 days to refund. Well it's been a month a now and only half has been refunded. How hard is it to refund and order that was paid for all at once. This company is a joke and rips you off.

Absolutely horrible service. I placed an order with a promised delivery date. Just after ordering, I got messages that it was delayed. I then got a promised a new delivery date which would still meet my need. Then they followed up with tracking data which had no information. Speaking to carrier, they said they haven't received anything. In speaking to Abigail in their customer service, they didn't offer any way to assist and only will offer a refund after I get it. I wouldn't have ordered from them had I know it was going to take more than a week to receive the order. They lied three times about the delivery date and they still can't confirm it's even shipped. Awful service on all levels. I could have ordered the part anywhere and gotten it by now. I placed the order with them specifically to get the product by now.

I ordered a gas tank and it came bent and stretch in many places. I sent them a return order including pics of the damaged tank. No one has gotten back to me and it's been a week. Dealing with these scammers tops the list for the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They advertised Oxygen Sensors as "Original Equipment" for my Jaguar. They were not OEM they were wire yourself universal. I immediately returned them. Car parts received them "TWO WEEKS AGO!" Now they're yelling me they don't know when the return will be done, which is necessary prior to initiating a refund. THESE ARE THE BIGGEST SCAMMERS I'VE DEALT WITH ONLINE!

One of my worst experiences, first I received two emails with two different carriers and tracking numbers. And after a week wait, they sent me wrong item, now I have to wait 2-3 business days which is 5 more days to get a confirmation if the warehouse is receiving the package plus 7 days for refund total 18 days wasted for a part. And yet customer service is asking me to call XPO to set an appointment for delivery. Do not buy things here!!!

Would not advise using this company. Sent 2 defective radiators. Due to a sickness and subsequent death in the family the return was outside of the window. They would not work with a credit for us or a return. Would not use them!

My entire weekend was ruined because you guys, yes, Carparts.som sent me a new, bad catalytic converter. This is one part that shouldn't be bad when sent out! This a part that should be tested prior to being put in a box and shipped to a customer! It's a complete hassle! Now I'm missing my friend's wedding, an anniversary gathering and I have to spend more money just to get it fixed by the time I have to be on work on Monday! Check your parts before shipping them out!

I ordered from them because I was on a time schedule, their site showed delivery on date I needed, was moving and had to leave at a certain day.!! This Carparts.com after GETTING PAID sent me email saying parts delayed, I called IMMEDIATELY before they had shipped to cancel order, as per THEIR POLICY, cancel before shipping, and refund.!! Well 2 hours after I canceled they said, shipped, I again called and was told TOO LATE.!!
I’ve received NOTHING BUT A BIG RUNAROUND and now I’m OUT THE MONEY, NO LONGER AT THE ADDRESS and NO PARTS.!!! Carparts.com is not honorable in their word, or policies.!!! I ordered brake parts from Carparts.com. All parts said will arrive by Friday before placing order (BAIT). After order was placed, delivery then changed to one of 4 parts by Friday, the rest on the following Tuesday or later (SWITCH). The only part to arrive on time was to be rear brake pads, I received... Exterior door handles??? Totally unreliable and dishonest.

But once I paid they sent me a message “unfortunately your order is delayed.” I’m pretty sure they lie deliberately about terms of delivery to attract customers. Today I went to install the new brake kit she purchased and it was the wrong kit for my car. I contacted Carparts.com customer service and was told that they sent me the wrong parts, but because I was out of the 60 day return policy, they would not replace them. On our end, we ordered parts for my car. Didn't check part numbers after they arrived (assuming carparts were competent enough to send what we ordered). Went to install them, didn't fit. Now I have a brand new brake kit that fits nothing I own and get to buy another just to get the parts that should have been shipped to me in the first place.... Thanks Carparts.com.

Part guaranteed to fit don't. Sure they will take back what was ordered, but you don't know if it is right until into the job and have no option but to make what they sent fit. When they replied to the complaint they hid behind their small print disclaimers.

Junk products. Not as advertised.... cheaply made knock-offs. Mirrors I ordered were broken in boxes without visible damage to the boxes. I was able to get real OEM replacements from a different supplier for a few dollars more and they were intact upon arrival.

I never write reviews; that said, I am very disappointed, with all the ways to get parts and buy things online Carparts.com and their chosen delivery company "GLS" have made my experience horrible. I searched the parts and ordered them on 5/4/24, the delivery said expected delivery 5/6/24. It is 5/7/24 and the parts have not been picked up by GLS from carparts.com yet. When I contacted GLS they said to contact Carparts.com.
I contacted Carparts.com and they said parts ordered on the weekend do not get picked up until Monday and that I should expect my package to be delivered 5/10/24 or 5/13/24. I would have bought my parts from someone else if they would have been honest about how long they take to ship something, but they know that; that's why they lie about the delivery date. Hoping GLS picks up the package soon and my parts for my daughter's car come by Friday. She is a college student and I only had the one week to work on her car and get it back to her out of state. The customer service reps from both GLS and Carparts.com were no help and basically told me to reach back out to them if I haven't received my package by Monday 5/13/24.

Hello I purchase catalytic converts for my 2006 Chrysler 300 and also front coil springs which was junk. The car sat higher with the old springs (coil bind) and the catalytic converter was bad, I spent about 500 for parts, life time warranty and call them they want me to jump thru hoops to try to get the parts replaced, I hate RockAuto but I would rather buy from them than buy anything from car parts, so don’t waste your money cause they not gonna treat you right be careful with them.

Avoid ordering from this site unless you want to risk losing money. I purchased parts totaling about $700, only to discover they weren't compatible with my vehicle. Upon returning them, I received only $400 back. Their policy seems designed to take advantage of customers. It's better to stick with Amazon, where I've always received full refunds regardless of the issue.

Don't buy from them. Bought a truck side mirror. Actuators will not hold the memory and will tip your mirror down, thus requiring you to readjust it every time you get in the truck. They offered me $50 to keep the defective or a replacement part. Opted for the replacement and lo and behold it does the same thing. Since I threw away the OEM, my choice is to drive around with holes in the truck waiting for a refund. So I told them just give me the $50 as I was done with their "Kool View" brand and I don't want to drive around with holes in the truck. They told me today they will not offer me the $50 now, only a $10 coupon on my next order... because my order is "more than 60 days old". It's April 19. I placed my original order February 28. That's 50 days. The replacement went out March 29. That's 21 days. Carparts.com Bry M cannot count.

CarParts sent me the wrong part. Although I ordered the correct part, when my mechanic tried to install it, he determined that it was not the part that I ordered. I still had to pay a labor charge. When I contacted CarParts.com, they admitted that they were negligent and their warehouse sent me the wrong part. They did send me the right part, but now I will have to pay another labor charge to have it installed. CarParts.com told me that their "policy" made them not responsible for their negligence. No more CarParts.com for us. Think twice before you take a chance in dealing with CarParts.com... a/k/a ChineseParts.com.

Whatever you do don’t order from these people. I order 500$ worth of parts. They pulled the money out of my account, and then they started pulling more money account saying that they just temporarily hold the full amount for 3-5 days. But in the meantime they pull the money out as the parts ship. I will never use them again. There is no reason to hold extra money out of my account and then tell me nothing can be done.

Folded my bumper to save a couple $$ on shipping, and did not send my fender liner. Seriously unsatisfied. Would not recommend buying from this site. Fender came scratched as week but was not as worried about that.

I am usually not one to write a bad review, however, Carparts.com deserves all the poor reviews (I should have read them prior to doing business with them). The simple process of returning a core for a refund was made so difficult and COSTLY, that I have given up on the process and therefore have paid an additional $70 due to not being able to even receive the return authorization. Please do not use this site, save the problems for something worth it.

Their adverting of fast delivery is not true. It’s been six days and still no part. They blame the UPS, I live in Arizona and coming from California. Very disappointed. I went with Carparts because of their fast delivery. Could have gotten it from Amazon for less time of delivery.

Bought a tail light for my Yukon and less than a year later it was getting water in it. I got a replacement and now the replacement has the same issue! They are now unwilling to replace because it has been more than a year. Seems like the products they sell are less than quality and their customer service is worse! Avoid at all costs!

I purchased a rear rotor and brake pad set, received pads for a CAMARO... How this happens is beyond me. My account only has one car linked to it.. A 2013 Sante Fe.. When doing my brakes, rotors were perfect, pads on the other hand... Had to go spend $76 on new pads at the local parts store. If you don't want people to buy from you, clearly you're doing that right. When I reached out for a refund or just to have the correct pads sent.. $10 is what they offered me... Told them they spat on my feet. What if I squeezed those pads onto my car? Considering I spent $150+ on my set, how come I got the wrong pads but correct rotors.. Horrible way of conducting business and I will never be buying parts from you guys again. I hope nobody else does either.

I made many attempts to return a wrong part and got denied. I finally got a refund less than what I paid. Apparently, you get stuck with the shipping bill when you receive the wrong part. I didn’t order the wrong part. car parts sent me the wrong part and it cost me shipping fees. I see the customer is penalized when CarParts sends the wrong part to a customer. The only benefit a customer has with CarParts is when they ship the correct part OR give a FULL refund if CarParts made the mistake. Unfortunately I have Zero confidence CarParts can guarantee anything! Their mistakes became my mistake. Buyer beware.
CarParts will never be part of our vendor for estimating system. I’m sorry your business model is a failure. I must only do businesses that stand by their mistakes and take care of the customer. I didn’t get any acknowledgment when you received my returned incorrect part that it indeed was a correct part. Indeed it was the incorrect part. Instead I get a partial refund. It seems that I got less because that’s my risk I have to take to get a correct part. I risked my money to see if I can hopefully get the right part and if I don’t, not CarParts' fault. Zero effort to replace it with the correct part. I was willing to go any length to even get the exchange but it wasn’t an option. So take a risk with CarParts. Quality of parts and service is a risk! Good luck supporting that business model!!

I had placed an order for 2 headlight assemblies from this company, driver side, as well as passenger side for my Subaru Legacy. My original order number was **. The first one arrived about a week later. This was the passenger side headlight. It arrived, poorly packaged, and the side mounting bracket was snapped off. I called this company, was on hold for over an hour before I spoke to someone (who was difficult to understand), and they had me mail it back. They mailed out a replacement. The driver's side headlight arrived a couple days later. Once again, with a broken side mounting bracket. So both headlights now have arrived broken. I called again. Once again, over an hour wait time to speak to someone. Once again, difficult to understand.
They told me they would give me a return label, and mail a new one out. So I take the broken one clear to fedex, then receive an email that they are out of stock of the driver side headlight assemblies. At this point I am floored. I call back again, once again, over an hour wait time. At this point I just want a complete refund, to which they can't even process until they receive and inspect that it is broken. Who knows how long that will take. So I ask the lady on the phone to have the manager of their customer service call me to discuss this matter. 3 hours later, they call. It starts to ring on my end after answering, then the call hangs up. Awful products, awful customer service, and a truly awful experience from this company. I will never, under any circumstances, recommend or use this company again.

Bought parts for my van. Parts were shipped Fedex apparently but I never received a notification from Fedex and Carparts.com didn't notify me of the delivery outside of my building until 2 hours after it was supposedly delivered. By the time I got their notification and went to retrieve the package, it was gone. I then contacted the company who said they won't even look into it because Fedex says it was delivered. I out the cost of my parts and Carparts.com says it's my fault.

I entered all of my car information. Ford Fusion SEL passenger mirror. Trusting that they sent the right one based on my information I went ahead and painted it only to find out it wasn’t the right mirror. It had the wrong plug. The only way they offered to make this right was to charge me all over again to send the right one the second time around. Why have us enter car information just to have them send the wrong part anyway? This was their mistake, not mine. No more Carparts.com for me.

I purchased a new timing cover and verified that the part matched my jeep. I received the part and trusted all was good with being correct part since car parts.com said it was a perfect match and the part manufacturer perfect fit. I installed the part and tried to put my serpentine belt on and the belt tensioner would not go down to get belt on. Found that after searching online it is a will know issue with car parts com selling this timing cover and customers making modifications to make it work. But even after fixing that issue and finding after installing the harmonic balancer that the timer cover is thicker and causing the balancer rubbing on the timing cover. To fix this issue was to pull the harmonic balancer back a few mm.
This project turned into a nightmare due to car parts.com selling parts knowing that there are issues with this particular timing cover but selling it anyway hoping that the customer installs the part and can't return it after installing and realizing it is not the correct part even though it looks identical. Contacted carparts.com and it's always the same email response "open a return request" but reading the email further states if installed is non returnable. Do not trust this company or their response to my complaint. They can't be trusted!

Terrible experience trying to replace headlights on VW Jetta. I should have read the BBB comments about horrendous customer service before I ordered from here. The first shipment I received had a broken light assembly inside the housing. I contacted the company and was able to arrange for another one after waiting a long time on hold. Second one arrived with the same issue.
I called again, and after a long period on hold again was able to explain the recurring broken assembly issue; that the boxes had arrived undamaged and I wanted the issue resolved in a timely manner. The third time the light arrived with the same assembly broken. I ended up fixing one of the assemblies so I could get some working headlights. Paying for new parts and receiving broken ones three times consecutively after explaining the exact issue isn't my idea of service. One of the times after arranging for an exchange the company didn't even send me a return label. I'm not sure if they thought I was going to cover for their lack of diligence or what.

I wish I had checked this website prior to making a purchase, from this inferior retailer. I ordered two front headlight replacements for my vehicle. The poorly packaged box came with only one !!! No phone call nor email explaining the issue. Why do they ask for these data points and not use them? I called their 800 number and reached a multi-call center, in Outer Mongolia. The gal only made excuses for this business, rather than helping me attain the other headlight. I wonder if they will adjust the credit card payment. Yes, they did.

I ordered and paid for the merchandise and I received an email that my order will be shipped and I will receive it on October 25th. They also sent me a tracking number. I have been checking the site with the tracking number, but status never was updated. The delivery day was pass and I gave another day and still I have not receive the shipment. I called the shipping company GLS and they said the Carparts.com have never informed them of any package with my tracking number. I called the Carparts.com and they said, "We are sorry, we don't know what happen" to my order and they will send me the refund and they will further investigate about this incident. I have lined up the mechanic to install the part but couldn't finish the job. I am very unsatisfied and will never recommend anyone to use this site to purchase parts.

It seems that if they're out of stock of the part you order they just send you one like it. Could be honest mistake, until they send you another wrong part. Instead of telling you they don't have it they keep sending parts that don't fit. Costing you time & money. I've paid a guy twice now to come to my home just to tell me the steering rack doesn't fit. Now I have to go another two weeks before I am reimbursed so I can order the correct part from someone else. Costing me more money that I don't have & leaving me with no car for even longer. And they tried to make me feel like I was putting them out for having to send me the part twice & me returning the part twice. When it was their fault.

Ordered parts for my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. It was four parts mailed in three shipments. Two shipments arrived as promised, Support made sure I got the third in a timely enough manner. There were a few pieces missing (cotter pins and a castle nut). CarParts.com Support went the extra mile of making it up by a small refund and a discount towards my next future purchase. They didn't have to and weren't expected to, but they did it. If they have the parts I need, I'll shop with them, again, for sure.

This company is super customer oriented. I had purchased an item to replace my broken one and it worked but wasn't the best quality. The company reached out to me after reading my product review and offered me multiple options to rectify my unsatisfied opinion. I opted to replace it with another and the new product works perfectly. No extra costs, no difficult part on my end. Just return the old product with a paid mail return postage label.

The replacement interior sliding door handle for my 2006 Dodge Sprinter worked fine for three months before breaking, presumably because it was made of poor quality plastic. What a hassle, especially because I was travelling at the time the part broke! A couple weeks after writting a review on Carparts.com a representative reached out via phone to refund my purchase under a 1-year warranty, so at least that is a point in carparts.com's favor. I wouldn't recomend buying the product again. A 1-year warranty is good, but not even close to as good as selling durable parts that last. I ended up replacing the part with an OEM part, and my advice to you is to do the same.
Concerningly, the review I wrote does not seem to appear on the product page for the part on carparts.com, though other critical reviews do appear on the page. Featuring all reviews without bias is critical to trust, and because I cannot find the review I wrote I'm left wondering whether the reviews on carparts.com are censored?

I ordered some headlights for my Volvo XC90R. They did not fit because of my "R" version of the XC90 has custom lights that the standard XC90 will not work with. I had to return them back to carparts.com and they were very understanding and gave me full credit. I will buy from them again and recommend them highly for their timely response and great customer service.
