Freddy and his crew were thorough, knowledgeable and professional. Freddy even alerted us to and showed us where one of our trees was compromised and could come down in a storm. This was our first experience and we will use them again and highly recommend.

Quick, professional, on time, clean. Would recommend again. A pre inspection was done. Measurements were taken and a strategy done and presented to me before work began. On the day the work began I was given my choice of grout color and they got it the same day.

Did an amazing job no doubt. They took care of some trees and cut my lawn really nicely. Planted some flowers for me and added mulch. Cut some limbs that were dead and trimmed my bushes. I was totally satisfied with the results.

Professional, courteous and efficient staff. Inquired about removing a number of big, heavy pieces of furniture along with taking apart a ping pong table. After the scope of work was explained, a quote was provided and the job was scheduled for two days later. A list of the items to be removed was sent to the owner as we were not present at the time of pick up. Great experience.

Angi Leads, a Subsidiary of Home Advisors, is a fraud. They have been calling my company for about a year to get us to enroll. We finally agreed to use their services because the sales representative, Kenneth **, assured us that there were at least 20-30 un-answered commercial leads in my area and that we will benefit from these leads almost immediately. Our service area covers the following Texas cities; Forney, Heartland, Terrell, Crandall, Heath, Rockwall, Fate, and Rowlett. However, after 13 days of using Angie’s leads, we have only received 3 leads, none which were commercial leads, all have been residential leads, which is a market we are not currently interested in and something we did not sign up for.

I requested info about plumbing and after I provided my email and phone, I was inundated with calls and emails that has nothing to do with what I needed, or even in the area where I live. I cannot recommend Angi anymore. A waste of my time.

4Ever Remodeling is the most professional remodeling company that I've ever worked with. This was evident before hiring them, especially as compared to other companies. Although remodeling a master bath is pricey, I feel they were competitive and worth it. They were available for questions and very detailed with making sure things were moving along. Our bathroom was finished in a timely manner & turned out BEAUTIFUL! I would use them again.

Each and every time, I leave a bad review on a company. They seem not to post it. But if you leave a good review of a company, it's quickly posted no problem. This tells me, that if you write an honest true review of a bad experience with some Company out there. That I guess to save face, that they won't post it, just to be kind. To whomever decides to use their service for reputation aspect to whatever company You use. By using their service to find any reputable company for services.

A 2 ft drywall flood cut was performed throughout the basement. This included a large family room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a utility room. All the new drywall was taped and textured then painted. The texture match perfectly and so did the paint color. The contractor was extremely professional, and communicated very well! As a side note, I trusted Julian to be home alone on several occasions. He even locked up my house and set the alarm while I was gone.

We called Angi looking for an electrician to help us with major problems in our home. The gentleman that they sent to us called us the day before he was due to come over. He explained to us that he was totally unqualified to do the job that we hired him for. He showed up the next day anyway. A 140 mile round trip from where he lived. We talked with him for a while and he said that there was no way that he could do the job that we needed. A very honest and humble guy!! We gave him a bunch of cash and he went on his way. He told us that the company hires completely unqualified people and sends them out to jobs that they cannot do. We were so very impressed with his integrity and honesty. I wonder how many of of Angi workers are like him? We'll never ever use that company again!!!

Everything was done satisfactorily very good. No complaints. I would greatly tell others about your services and especially about the great job the handy man did. He arrived on time and did a very very great job. Would surely recommend him to others. Again I said no complaints.

Antonio was very professional. Was on time to perform the service. He did an excellent job power washing the exterior of the house. He went above the required job. Extremely neat and careful of plants and bushes. We would definitely hire him for other projects.

I love the concept of Angi, and keep coming back hoping it'll get better. But it doesn't. I try to leave reviews and it says "Try again in a few minutes". I get responses from people who do have the capability to do what I requested. And the hire now doesn't allow any flexibility. Great concept... just doesn't work the way I think you think it does.

Search the site for a gutter cleaner. One was sent. He blew the dirt on my property. The second one came out to the same. I had to pay a third person to clean up the mess from Angi.com. Never would recommend this company.

We had our pool closed by a contractor who did not know how to winterize our pool. We only discovered this months later when we went to open and pumps and pipes were broken. Angi will only refund up two 30 days! How would we know it wasn’t winterized properly within 30 days! Don’t waste your money with Angi!!

Carpet cleaning, furniture cleaning and ceramic tile. Great professional job was done by a very efficient technician Travis. Matthew owner of company came by and gave us a bid. Overall service was great and would definitely recommend this company again.

I reached out to find a home inspector for my new home to conduct a Home Inspection on my walk thru on Saturday April 8, 2023 and got three referrals from Angi to contact and the out outcome was good and I have secured a Home Inspection with Jonathan ** through J. Harrison Home Inspection and he did an excellent job.

I had the services of an excellent handyman for 15 years and he quit to start his own construction business. I had looked on-line and inquired of many people for names/contacts of a handyman without any luck. Out of desperation I went to Angi. Even though the person I found is 45 minutes from me, at least I found one willing to do work for me. I also trusted his services because he was on Angi (because I've always heard good things about Angi - formerly Angie's List).

Decided to try Angie after several bad experiences before. Entered my zip code and had four responses I never heard of and couldn’t find on the internet. Finally found one that was 50 miles away. Of course haven’t heard from them, but I certainly am getting a lot of Angie spam in my email. When I’ve used Angie in the past, I’ve had contractors I know to be questionable sent to me as highly rated. Angie is a waste of time and doesn’t have responsible contractors. Back to my internet search.

I am very satisfied with their moving service, nice service and friendly. On time. I am very happy with whole process. Thank you much for your recommendation. I will use them again if I have chance. I will recommend them to my friend without hesitation. Thank you very much.

Did excellent work and was professional and efficient. Did exactly what they said and met their deadline and cleaned up any messes that were incurred when making installation. They were neatly dressed and extremely respectful and used reliable equipment and transportation. They were greatly appreciated and trustworthy.

I bought a bed off Wayfair. They work with Angi for install. I paid in advance and they sent me a scheduled appointment. The day of the appointment they texted me 3 hrs prior and stated no one picked up the job so it was rescheduled.. I spent over an hour trying to get through to Angi and all I got were foreigners who barely spoke English giving me attitude. Never again will I use Angi.. I wasted a day off work and got treated poorly.. They shouldn’t schedule appointments if they don't have someone to do the work. Don’t Trust them!

Looking for someone to install insulation in a very hot attic. My house was very hard to heat with the attic was the way it was. It is very much better after the insulation was installed. I am very happy now & am glad that this company was on Angi.

Don't use Angi.com! I scheduled an AC duct cleaning. The appointment was for 8AM today, Monday. I received a text at 6:30 from the person that was scheduled at 8. She asked if she could come at 9 to clean the dryer event. She had to take her kids to school. WHAT??? I replied, no! This is for air conditioning duct cleaning. Not dryer vent cleaning! Canceled service!!

Will go for all my work. Thank you for your help. Turned out exactly how I wanted. I will give you a call in a couple of months. Very professional, was able to work with my schedule and work around my kids being home, he was okay with me not locking up my dogs!

I started buying leads last year. All my reviews are 5 stars. Then one of the customers ran out of money and didn't make the last payment. Instead making arrangements, she called Angie's, told them she had to repaint. They believed her and canceled my ads. Then they tried to charge me for the rest of the year. For the last 3 months, hardly any leads have been coming in and many of the ones that did come were bogus numbers. Terrible company.

I enjoyed utilizing Angie’s List as it was not a situation where I got 4000 calls like a car dealership or any pushiness from any vendors. I also appreciated that the vendor I did choose was so awesome they reminded me there are still people who care about the services they do and I’m utterly grateful for that..

I hired a painting contractor that reached out to me from Angi’s site who ended up scamming me. He cashed my check for $500, his name is Alvaro ** from VB Painting Palm Beach, never showed up to paint my cabinets and never gave me my money back. I don't think Angi screens their contractors and they should have given me the $500 back and gotten it from him. All they did was say sorry and suspend his account. I will never use their site again and tell everyone I know about my experience so they won't either.

He asked for our patio to be extended out. We had our request answered quickly and accurately. Within one day we had an estimate and ETA for the prep work. The job exceeded our expectations for the price awkward location. Alberto was excellent with how he handled the entire job. And I can't wait to hire him again when the next job comes around.

They can with best equipment, great people and tackle a large job with preference and kindness. They were very professional and timely manner and needs were met. It would be nice if Angi had a feature to keep notes about your job. I'd like a database with three columns where I can write Line Item, Notes, and Cost. I could select my project, then write the notes under each vendor/bidder. When viewing my project I would see each bidder and the total cost generated from the sum of the Cost column.

I Got two estimates from 2 separate companies. One wanted to upgrade the work to include a new roof even though it was not needed. I ended up with Armor Company. They quoted a price for the job I listed and did not try to upsell me. Very professional, punctual, and good knowledge of the job needing done. Did a great job and I will use them again.

Beware..I was using them as a service pro with a 4.9 star level and they only sent me scams..When I asked to be credited or for something to be done, "Sorry can't help you. It's just the way it is but..You still have to pay the rest of your contract.." It does not matter that we have sent you anything but scams for the last 8 months...You still have to pay....It does not matter how many customers tell you that you aren't on the Angi's list of pros until the 5th page...No matter how good your ratings are..You still have to pay....They are money..Money..Money and no results....Do not use them...They are not what they used to be and don't care about anything but money....FYI there are several other review sites that show all the different ways ANGI is scamming money out of the customers...It has no longer become about the actual customers/pros...but just money...like Sitejabber and Reviewopedia

Asked questions. Wanted to make sure to know exactly what I needed. Suggested a few companies to meet my needs. Continued to check with me to see if I had found someone and if so, how it all worked out and if I was satisfied.

I am an officer manager of a Florida home inspection company. We opted to try Angi to help promote the business. In Florida, we have Wind Mitigation and 4 Point home inspections. They can run between $75-$125.00 an inspection. Angi's representative, that sold him on the idea to list, told the owner that it is $300 for the annual membership and the charge per lead would between $16.00-$28.00. However, this has not been the case. They have taken 35% to over 50% of these inspections with their individual lead charges (regardless of if it goes through or just a quote, even in some instances where they needed a completely different type of inspector, i.e. from the city- they would not refund him the over $50.00 lead fee) in addition, the distance driven.

Replaced wood fence with vinyl fence. Very professional. Job was completed very quickly removed old fence and would recommend their service to anyone that is looking to replace or get a fence. Quick response and quickly installed. I had called other companies and they either never called or never showed.

I posted a job (concrete foundation for detached garage) with Angi, sent a small deposit (believe it was $25), received a list of several contractors, none of whom contacted me nor responded to my emails. An Angie representative contacted me, after which I received one call, made an appointment, and nobody showed up. I was unable to find out how to receive a refund. Total waste of time and money.

There are some jobs that can be hard to find someone to do in Gainesville Florida. Angi has come through for me several times. I appreciate Angi’s help. Today I had a beautiful small but complex tile job done. Last year Angi found me a super good drywall expert.

Had a fantastic experience using Pro Exteriors NE. Mike was responsive, on time, and reliable. Pro Exteriors NE had our roof installed over the course of 3 days and did a spectacular job. Thanks, guys. They are a thorough, by the book organization. I had a specific deadline for the project and they met that deadline. I am very pleased with the project completed and would use them again.

The life of Gardner do Great work and I would recommend to anyone that needs work done. All you need to do is just ask and consider it is done. From edging, pulling weeds and removing dead leaves, Plants and trimming this is what do. To please their customers and they do great all the time.

Aaron’s tree service was wonderful to work with. Angie’s list made it super easy to find a great company to do the job. I will go through Angie’s list again for any other jobs I need done. All the people were really professional that came out to give me bids and I feel confident in the people Angie’s list recommends.

We thought that the service man who was to work on our plumbing issues was a "plumber". He was an "electrician" who was sent to us as a "plumber". After four hours, It was apparent that the man did not know what was required to finish the job. I fired him for incompetence. I hired a real "plumber" who corrected my plumbing issues in less than two hours and at a cost less than Angi's stated price. I asked for and received a full refund from Angi. Service man did not know plumbing.

I set up a cleaning service with Angie. The first person scheduled (Jose) did not show up. My second appointment failed to show! I cancelled my membership, and Angie only refunded a portion of my deposit. Not only are they not dependable, they cheated me out of money!

Hauling service was provided as expected. Tyler called to notify us he was in the neighborhood before he arrived. He removed the refrigerator courteously and efficiently and left his business card for future service. I will consider Angi for future needs.

Redid my deck and it looks great and railing and steps in back. Front was steps and railing. Great pricing and service. I will most definitely use them again. They also clean up and take care of everything. And they let you know what steps they are doing and keep you informed.

Sprinkler lines were leaking. Jose gave an estimate for the work that needed done. Leaking lines were repaired, area cleaned and tested. Work was completed as promised and appears to be in good working condition. I am pleased with the work done.

Angi called me twice today March 6th 2023 to argue with a business owner on why I wouldn't sign a contract. They were talking to me if I had signed contracts for my cell service and even asked me If I signed a contract to buy my car and I told them, "It's none of you business." They want me to sign a contract so bad they pissed me off for the last and final time. The sales team are rude and disrespectful and they should be fired for being so rude. I will never sign any contract with these unprofessional people and company.

Matt Sapp Home Inspections did a great job and I'd recommend him to anyone wanting someone with expert knowledge in electrical. From the pool light to the cabana lights and conduits being properly installed were exceptional. I was very impressed with his professionalism.

I was given a choice of two garage door repair technicians. I discussed the problem with both of them. I went with the technician who was more responsive. He proved to have great diagnosis skills. He was able to solve the problem in the same visit.

Pros: STAY AWAY!!! You will receive leads from Bot Accounts. Not real customers. Maybe %10 of the leads are actual clients. The rest are just BOTS… I became a member, filled my account with all the information and pictures, photos. Set it up perfectly. And I received 25 leads in 10 days. I called them in the first 5 minutes, texted and emailed if no answer. Out of 25 leads, 18 of them never answered my calls. Never got back to my texts. Never replied to my emails. And the names, emails are weird names/numbers. The other 7 leads that answered my calls were speaking like they were totally unaware of why I called them…. Except two of them they were totally unaware of the situation and asking me why I was calling them. And other 2 were totally looking for irrelevant service. But I am charged for all these leads which cost me over $ 1,500.00

We contracted through Angi's to have the cement around our pool fixed in 2022. The contractor they hired threw cement over the fence and their trash in our bushes. Now the cement is cracking and needs repair.

Received three recommended companies and interviewed all of them. They all seemed good - one was too expensive and could not do the job for at least four weeks. The other two were closer in price so I chose the one that had the better price and seemed more professional. It worked out great.

The site was easy to navigate. My contractor sent me a link asking for a review, which I was happy to do. The link took me directly to the site where I filled out a simple form and had an opportunity to praise the work that had been done on my home as well as the individuals involved.

Great response, great work, highly recommended, Blero did a great job, showed in time and finished the work in time, very professional and knowledgeable, I have looked for a long time to hire the right person and got lucky as the work was done well and also with extra suggestions on several other things that needed attention. Juice Electric gave me a good and fair bid, done quality work, finished on time, cleaned up after themselves and had great customer service! They communicated with us along the project to assure we didn't have any questions. My community also referred Juice Electric in our community forum. They always have had positive reviews.

WORST COMPANY WITH WHOM I HAVE EVER CONTACTED! I requested some information a week ago and was considering advertising with them. After a very pleasant call with a woman, I told her that I needed a week to think about it. Since then, I was contacted at least 4-5 times and harassed about signing up. I told each rep that I needed time, and they tried to pressure me into signing immediately. On March 1, 2023, I was called at 7:53am by Mike from Angie with another high pressured sales call. I said it was too early to be called and Mike said in a very sarcastic voice, "Well, what time to you start business? Why aren't you up now?"

Excellent company to work with. I will be hiring Peak Exteriors LLC again for my home in the future. My son has also had a great experience with Mr. ** and will be getting a job completed in the near future.

I used Angi to find a pro to help me with my bathroom work I needed done. I got multiple quotes and estimates quickly. My job got done right and on-time. I was very happy with how easy the site was to use. I will be using Angi again to find someone to remodel my 2nd floor bathroom.

She was very reliable and the price was reasonable. They provided all the cleaning supplies. Also wore face mask, very friendly personalities. They did a deep clean, washed walls, bathroom, kitchen and even reached for cobwebs. Fast responsive to my call and did a same day service.

I tried using Angi to get an estimate on black topping my driveway. All I got were scammers trying to get info with ridiculously low bids. Not one actual company contacted me. In addition, since I had to provide my email address, I have been absolutely inundated with spam emails ever since I created an account on Angi. I will never use this company again as they obviously immediately sell any info provided on their website. In my opinion Angi, formerly Angie's List, is a total sham. Do not use this company and definitely do not put ANY info on their site.

Your website is extremely difficult to use. I just wanted to give a review; there is no button or tab to do so, or to go to the company that I used. If my repairman hadn't provided me with the link, I probably would have skipped it, which would have been a shame because he did an excellent job.

John and his crew were the best. They went above and beyond the work we expected and refunded money when some of the planned work was deemed unnecessary. We will definitely keep them on our contractor contact list. We highly recommend them.

I have used Angi (Angie's List) for several years for Home Improvements/Renovations/Appliance Repair. I have only ys. Had great results with contractors. From patio and sidewalk cement work, most recently roofing with HGE, oven and dryer repairs. In this day and age with disappearing contractors, Angi has always come through and is Highly Recommended for vetting contractors!

This service provided me with a qualified top notch AAA plus Handyman and security of knowing I was letting someone into my house I didn’t have to worry about. He was a very experienced and knowledgeable, professional, polite and courteous individual whom I will use time and time again and refer to many others along with Angi services.

Shutters were sun bleached and required painting. Prime and two coats of finish color applied. Perfect color match. Removed and reinstalled shutters on time at competitive price. I will have him back to additional painting in the spring. Next painting project requires warmer weather.

I had a plumbing emergency and was new to the area so used Angi to get a plumber. I was waiting outside for him, he said he was at my house, but he wasn’t, gave him my address again. He Said he was done, I wasn’t home. Called Angi and they called him and asked him to “come back” or actually show up and he said no. I ended up finding another plumber on my own. Then Angi CHARGED me for the call because he said he showed up. I had to fight the charges. I thought the whole point of Angi was to vet people for you. But I guess there are so few contractors they take anyone even a con artist. It was a complete waste of my time. Never will use them again.

Simply tried to get a contact list of gas fireplace repair. 3 days and 4 reps later I still don’t have it! And after 30 min of being transferred around the call disco’d and I still don’t have an answer. After being a mostly satisfied customer for years I’m wondering when the wheels came off? Is the merger the problem?

Great service! Highly recommended. Was able to move in and take stress off of myself for cleaning. She drove about three hours in order to do the cleaning. She did excellent work on the bathroom and the carpets. The cupboards were all wiped out and allowed me for a quick move in. I thought the prices for the cleaning service were extremely low and affordable.

1st off he was 10 minutes early, which is great, I never got that from my last lawn care service. 2nd, he pulled up and cut up every weed in my yard, not to mention he cut, edged and racked the front and backyard. First of all, I am in the trades. Some of the firms recommended by Angi I happen to know firsthand, and are complete fake-it-until you make it types. Thus, these firm's need to advertise with Angi. They cannot scrape the bottom of the barrel of their own customers to get any recommendations on their own so they "pay" to be recommended. Furthermore, some persistent telemarketer from Angi called me three times today under the false pretense of "wanting to do some bathroom remodels with our company". THREE times he called, when I was crazy busy under this phony pretense, after I repeatedly told him I was not remotely interested in anything to do do with Angi. I can't understand how Angi stays in business and feel sorry for those ignorant enough to rely on them as anything that is even remotely reputable.

It was easy to rate my housekeeper, the questions were relevant and easy to answer in a short amount of time. It is good that you validate the address of the survey respondent. I will consider checking with Angie for other services I might need in the future. I like that people wanting to check on Lidia can call me.

We used Angi to have electrical work done. We needed to have a new Fuse box panel put up. Come to find out they did the work without a permit and the work was done incorrectly. We have to have it fixed now. Then we used Angi to have someone come install 2 upper shelves in the garage. The first person assigned cancelled last minute after we took off work to be here. Then the second person assigned came 6 hours late and never finished the job. They no called/no showed for the time they rescheduled to finish. The person even brought another person to assist him and that was fine but they had no idea what they were doing. I would think if you are to send someone out they would know how to do the job. We have lost all faith in Angi and will no longer use this service.

I inquired to find a contractor for a couple small projects in my house. I was assured that I would not be inundated with phone calls and that I would receive a list of company names and contact information via email to where I could contact the companies when I was ready. That is not what happened. Within 2 min of inquiring, I was receiving texts, phone calls, and emails for hours and days.

I had the team go through and clean all rooms in the house which included cabinets ,windows, blinds, floor boards sinks and tubs and toilets, all light fixtures and fans/ vents. Pull Out refrigerator and clean behind and take apart refrigerator and Clean and put back together and clean oven and any vents, mop all floors and walls. And Clean up all trash left behind and make Sure all windows are Cleaned inside and out and ** and locked and then lock all doors before leaving.

I requested change of locks to Angi's Sunday night. Ave's Lock And Key called Monday morning around 9AM and serviceman arrived at 10AM and completed rekeying 4 doors within 3 hours. He did an excellent job in rekeying our 4 doors at a very reasonable price and within a day after our request. Angi's surely knows the right services to recommend to solve our problems.

When we first joined Angie's List we could call and get several recommended service providers on the phone. Now on Angie's we just get an opportunity to invite bids. The online forms never allow me to adequately explain what I need done, and if and when the provider calls I have to start all over again. Often they don't call and when they do, they may not be an appropriate match. This is very frustrating and no better than Yelp.

I signed up for a membership with Angi about 8 months ago for $30. Today, I called to get a quote to unclog a sink. The quote was for $182. The plumber came out, snaked my drain, and couldn't find the cause of the clog. The sink continues to back up. Angi then charges my credit card for $222. I was okay paying $182 (not $222) for the plumber's time for coming out, even though nothing was fixed or repaired and the sink continues to back up. When I contacted Angi's customer service to question the $222, they said I was being $127 per hour at 2.5 hours less a coupon and my membership rate. When I booked the job, the Angi rep never said anything about an hourly rate, even when asked. The Angi rep never sent me the quote via email, as promised, and the Project tab on the Angi app doesn't provide any information on the quote. I was not okay with paying $222 for an incomplete job.

My tree removal request was met immediately with five referrals, all who gave a wide spread of options to choose. I was very impressed with the professional crew I selected and their outstanding job. These pros were on time and showed up when they said they would. They wore all the appropriate safety equipment and wary of the dangers of their heavy duty equipment...JS

Ian is the consummate professional. When he called, he made it clear that he was looking to help us assess our needs. Within a few moments, he made it clear that while he was familiar with the kind of work we needed, the specific type of facility and our need is something that he feels a more niche professional would be better suited to perform. He shared with us the positives and negatives of alternatives, and then gave us a link to someone he has used for the very type of job we needed done. This is an example of professional ethics and integrity that are often lacking in the business world, but which set companies like this aside for their excellence and integrity. There is no question, but that I would return to Ian for subsequent work.

I asked and was told at $340.00 I would get Help with a Truck load, not One Van load of Junk removed from my house. My Project and Request was not completed. For $340 I should have been able to get at least Two Van loads of junk Removed. To begin with the Contractor arrived without his van being already Empty. Partially Filled with his Tools and Tool boxes. Worker was helpful but could able not remove more than one partial Van Load. The Garbage and Junk did not contain Toxic or Dangerous Materials. I disposed of them Myself. I also had plenty of Items that can be used as still Good and Re-usable, fine. But not happy overall with the few Garbage Items removed. Contractor mentioned he could only take one load because it would be too expensive for Him to unload at the Emptying Site. I'm basically dissatisfied. Nothing against the Contractor himself. He blamed Angi Management.

Absolutely a poor company that doesn't vet their contractors. I booked a gutter service, the pro came out while I was gone for work. Never followed up after he "cleaned" my gutters. I looked today after being gone for work and my gutters are still the same. I took photos and did a charge back on my CC. AND of coursed I have yet to get a follow up phone call from the company. PATHETIC. DO NOT USE!

Went to Angi to find a house cleaner. The guy they sent did a terrible job and left some white residue all over everything. Floors, counters, doors, furniture, electronics, everything. They send another person to fix his cleaning and this other person is unable to remove the white stains from everything. $1000s in damages. I contacted them and they want me to jump through a ton of hoops hoping that I give up on the process and they don't have to claim responsibility. For example they want a repair estimate for each item and they refuse to send someone out. They also refuse to pay for the estimates. The things that cannot be repaired and need replaced? Well I need a specialist to come and look at it and state that as well. It's a complete nightmare.

Both jobs I hired JD Rowan Construction for have been amazing and done in an extremely timely fashion. Beautiful 80ft wood fence put up in 1 day, and now having them re-do my kitchen. Cabinets removed in 1/2 a day. Look forward to completing all the remodeling projects I have for them. Get to pick new cabinet colors and house paint next.

I've been getting unsolicited calls throughout the days and night. I've not been able to sleep and every time I ask to have my number remove, I still get harassed. A manager called me to promise to have this fix if I gave them a five star rating but here I am still getting harassed by unsolicited calls. I feel so helpless and just resorted to putting my phone on "do not disturb" mode. Unless if you want to be called throughout the day and night, do not use Angie's List or give them your information.

Just started with this advertising. Hopefully I will do well. The company seems positive and likely to help grow my business. I'd like to see my company come up a bit more so I can get more leads. No problems thus far.

Made recommendations about checking all receptacles and replacing if needed; Would definitely call again if needed for an emergency and for maintenance on our electrical needs.

Don't waste your time and money with Angi. You can do better on your own selecting a repairman as I found out the hard way. Unfortunately, I decided to try Angi to send a repairman to fix our LG Dishwasher that was not properly draining water. This is a common problem. I was charged 302.00 dollars for the service. The repair guys came out, inspected the dishwasher, told me they couldn't find a problem, reset the dishwasher and said call them if the problem persists. Well I got the same code from the dishwasher "OE" and had water still in the appliance at the end of the next cycle. I reached the repair folks. They now said the water pump was the problem. They also said I would have to buy the new water pump and they would come out to install it.

Angi sucks. The plumber who came overcharged me and broke my, dishwasher said they would pay for the damage, then ran away. Angi sent things to a mediator for their "100% satisfaction guarantee...," which is **. The plumber never answered the phone or texts so there was no mediation to be had because it takes two to tango. HUGE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!

The move went exceptionally well. The movers showed up before the agreed time. Juan was very professional, and kept me informed up to and throughout the move. Moving can be stressful, so it is great to know that I already have this covered when I purchase my new home in the fall.

I had a MISERABLE experience with an Angi recommended appliance repair shop last week. I did not cross-reference Angi reviews with other platforms such as Yelp ad Google. My big mistake but that's why I'm an Angi subscriber. The company's review on those other sites were TERRIBLE. Please have someone from the Angi staff call me to discuss further.

I have a service company that does consumer electronics repair. I have been advertising on Angie's List for about 12 years. Somewhat satisfy until about two years ago that I have two review from two people that have not use my service but mistakenly gave my company bad reviews. I have talked to those two individuals and told them that they need to take down the reviews that they wrote about my company. They said they will but the reviews never taking down. So I called and talk to my representative at Angie and told her about the mistaken reviews.

I've received many qualified offers from companies through Angi. They were honest regarding whether they could do the work I needed. I was delighted with Good Deal Remodeling company and the kitchen cabinet and dishwasher installation. I plan to look to Angi shortly for additional work to be done in my home.

Angi is a horrible company to work with and they are liars and crooks. I was lied to so they could get me to sign my company up on Angi. After I signed up Angi failed to deliver on any of their promises to me and also sent me a bunch of fake leads to be able to charge me more money. After canceling my account due to not being happy they are now mocking me. Steve ** at Angi is saying my "Feelings" are hurt when I was the one lied to. Bad business doesn't hurt my feelings but should definitely not be rewarded.

We signed up to have a handyman come to our house to fix a pergola that was falling because of the stormy weather. The handyman never showed on the scheduled time. It took over an hour to het through for help. When we finally reached someone they said they could not refund monies. The handyman said to Angie's List he showed up but no one answered however the handyman gave Angie's list the wrong address. The correct address was one the service receipt. When they listed what was to be done Angie's list put wrong description therefore we asked them to listen to a recorded line. They came back and said that we still have to pay for the guys time. THE HANDYMAN DID NOT SHOW UP AND DID NOT CALL AND GAVE THEM THE WRONG ADDRESS NOT ON THE CONTRACT AND WE HAVE TO PAY???? I think NOT!!!! THIS IS FRAUD and A SCAM COMPANY!!!!

This company puts up many barriers to keep the consumer from being able to talk directly with an employee. The website has no telephone numbers. The "Chat" box was not functioning. The provided link to an email address produced a message that the address was "no longer valid." I had signed up for their housekeeping service and that aspect of the relationship was fine. But, I needed to change the date of service and got billed for it anyway. After an hour of searching, I found a phone number on the phone app. The rep listened to my problem and she would have to refer it to a supervisor who was busy at the moment, but had me listen to a sales pitch "while we waited." Then, she said the supervisor was now available and that she would transfer me. 23 minutes later, the system dropped my call. I did finally get the matter resolved after spending over 4 hours on that project.

He is the only company I have found on Angi to be professional, honest, ethical, communicate at every step in the job, prompt and do quality work at a fair price. I will use him for all projects at my house that he has the expertise and skills to complete.

Somehow I stumbled upon the list of providers I was looking for (a long list that was not alphabetical), but now I can't find it. Very frustrating. It used to be so easy to search for a specific company I have used in the past. Not sure how long it's going to take to find that page again. Not sure I even care anymore. Angie's List used to be such a valuable service, but not so much anymore.

Angi is a waste of time and a bigger waste of money. I signed up to find a plumber, and a plumbing company contacted me through Angi. I booked the plumber using Angi's website, and it turns out the plumber was a scam. I contacted Angi to tell them to remove the plumber from their website. I was not asking for a refund, just that they remove the plumber so that no one else gets scammed. I even supported all the necessary documentation, project number, etc.

Excellent skills and very professional. I have recommended him to my neighbor. They cleaned up after finishing the job. They were punctual and showed up on time. Made sure that we got all the needed parts for the job. We have had a terrible time finding workers who I’ll show up on time or just show up at all. These workers showed up on time.

I received two electrician's name and numbers. The first one, Sparky's, made an appointment for the next day, then changed it to Friday without telling us. I received the Angi's email telling me it had been changed. I called Sparky's and was on hold for a very long period of time. When I finally spoke to someone, they were able to change my appointment back to Thursday between 12 pm and 4 pm. At 4 pm I called them and was placed on hold for a very long period of time again! When I spoke to someone, they said the Technician texted my phone to say they would not be here. I told them that they texted a landline and I would have never received the text. I told them not to bother and found another electrician who was on time and had reasonable rates. I will NEVER use or recommend "Sparky's." You should drop them from the list of electricians to use!

Mr. Handyman of Leigh Valley EASTON, performed an ASSEMBLY, of a Vevor 12volt 100 watt wind Turbine Generator, that was attached to my unused Chimney and the house to use the wing blowing across the roof. In addition the Men hooked up all the components that convert the 12 volts to useable house current successfully. They did a great Job!!

I put in for bathroom deep cleaning and received a call from JAC Cleaning within 20 minutes of my inquiry. The manager was polite and thorough when answering my questions. I felt he was invested in the company and they were able to complete the job in a timely manner. He did call me when he knew the girls would be late for the job. It wasn't a big deal for them to be late that day because I didn't have much going on.

Angi had multiple contractors respond to our search. Some were better than others and in the end we were very happy with our selection. I was confused by Angi having multiple coordinators calling a referring contractors to us. They didn’t seem to know that other people had contacted us.

I hired a handyman through Angi's to replace damaged wood flooring caused by a leaky toilet. When I told the handyman I wanted to move up the date of our appointment, he agreed, but didn't notify Angi. He asked for money upfront to replace flooring (Angi told me the contractor would expect payment for materials). He spent weeks "trying to match" the flooring then stopped responding to my messages. I called Angi to report it, and I asked them to flag this handyman in their system, but they refused because they showed the appointment hadn't happened yet since it was scheduled with them at a later date. Horrible. DO NOT USE. I threw away hundreds of dollars.

I booked cleaning service through the company several days in advance for a holiday party. I used the Angi Pre-approved price with the Angi Happiness Guarantee instead of finding and negotiating with my own contractor. I figured it would be more reliable to go with Angi’s recommended provider instead of going through the list of 5 contractors provided when you add your project. Besides, I know what I’m paying for upfront, they don’t charge you until the end and it’s backed by their guarantee.

The plumber did a great job. He was referred to me by my brother in law. Completed the job before he left. Job was done in one day. I would refer him to family and friends. He was very professional and knew what he was doing.

It was great. First they did the living room. Then the bedroom and bathroom. Walls in kitchen and bedroom were done as well. They did it for a decent price since others overcharged or estimated higher. They wanted to help and were okay with less money in order to help.

I signed up with these folks 3 months ago, the leads are bad, the service tracker shows I had 12 good leads, I made contact with 5, 3 of them had the work done, and 1 did not know what I was talking about. I got 1 good customer out of the deal so far. I will not be renewing when my contract with them is up. I have been told that they recycle leads, not sure if it's true, if so that would be crap. That contractor that told me was in FL and has canceled with them. ThumbTack seems the best for me so far. Yelp I keep getting scammers. I posted this on Trust Pilot also.

Have tried to use, but never was able to hire anyone through the service. I've had to hire directly. I've looked at Angi for my business, seems convoluted and difficult to use as a business. Constant cold calls from angi sales gets annoying.

I paid for furniture assembly through the retailer and they contracted an assembler through Handy which is now owned by Angi. The assembler named Ekhabafe L. was booked for the job from 10AM-Noon on 12/14 per what Handy communicated to me. This assembler started harassing me via text at 6:14AM on 12/14 to allow him to come to my house early. When replied that I could not be available earlier than 9:30AM, he persisted. Finally he agreed to 9:30AM. 9:30AM came & went, he didn't show up until 10:20AM! I allowed him in, he started working and then came to me at around 11AM to ask me not to let Handy/Angi know that he was late. I couldn't believe the nerve of this guy. He continued to work after that, but then came to me again at 11:37AM to tell me that he could not complete the job, his "time was up". He said to me "You need to call the ofc and pay more money for another time or figure something out".

I used AngiAds from April of 2022 through December of 2022. The word that comes to mind when I think of Angi Ads is disgust. From the beginning when they were actually sending me leads, the leads were impossible to get a hold of. The minute the lead came to me I called the customer up, sent them an email, a text message and a message through the Angi app. I was told that the leads provided would be sent to no more than 3 companies, the few customers I was actually able to speak to told me I was the 5th or 6th company to call them, several of them had the work completed already. This verified my suspicion that not only was Angi giving the leads to more than 3 companies but they were recycling leads that they gave to other companies in the past.

I made an appointment on November 24th. Waited at the house for 3 hours. There was a no-show. Then I got a text saying that it was rescheduled. They rescheduled me December 8th. He came into my house to do plumbing. He went in the bathroom. He took off the fixtures. Said they were old and that he needed to get parts. I was expecting him at 12:00. He came at 3:00. He took the fixtures off. He left for a whole hour and came back with the wrong fixtures then I got a text saying that they were going to bill my card an additional $113 because he spent an hour extra. He chose to drive to Home Depot across town when there's one right around the corner from me. Then he said he would return the next day, he didn't. That was December 8th and it is now December 13th and I have had no water in my house since then. I can't use the bathroom. I can't use the shower. I can't wash my hands.

The team was punctual, professional and achieved what was in the contract. Their suggestions were well received and applied. They had explained the plan, materials, quality of the roofing material, and the durability of the different products. The price was above normal, but good things are not cheap.

I had the top 25% of the peak of the Northern elevation of my colonial lose its siding during a windstorm in May 2022. Angi had a contractor that came and replaced the siding in 2 days. When on the roof for the first time since then for winterizing, I noticed a bunch of nails on the roof below where the repair was made (concerning). Looking at the siding now it seems to be loose again and at danger of repeating the same problem. When I called Angi about the issue they said all issues need to be reported in 30 days or you have to pay for it to be fixed again. So I had an easy siding repair job done for >$600 and it was guaranteed for 30 days. Wow! Avoid these people at all costs and go with a contractor that will stand by their work.

The 2 of them were great to work with. Understanding. Great work ethics. Only thing was I'd like to hire them every other week. I feel it's a little costly. Far as cleaning they went over and beyond. As I said I'd like for them to come every other week.

Used to move me from one city to the other and it was definitely a success and I would recommend this service to anyone. Thank you for all the help that I received that day especially being last minute yay.

I originally made an appointment to install a sink with Angi. They rescheduled the original appointment for 2 weeks three days before the appointment. I cancelled the appointment. I scheduled a new appointment to install the sink. They sent message to me introducing my technician, Alejandro. When I found another plumber who could work on our schedule I contacted him directly via message and asked him to cancel, he replied “ok”. Much to my surprise, he showed up on the appointment day. He texted from our gate and I reminded him that the appointment had been cancelled and he left. That afternoon, I was billed 187.10 for the appointment and I was asked to give feedback on the job via email – it was unsatisfactory for obvious reasons. When I contact customer service at Angi they told me:

Won’t let you know they lock you in a contract. They won’t say upfront that you need also that once you pay and hundreds of dollars you still get nothing till you bring them more. Yes more meaning your reviews from your phone contacts and ensure they get on the app to give a 5 star for what they say is for you. But not it’s for them. So they want reviews that they did not bring to you. Instead, they want to use you and if you have nothing but money to offer we’ll get ready to be pressured to get review with them not bringing in clients for you.

Best junk removal service in Ohio is North Coast Residential Services speedy clean up and great service. They removed everything I wanted out and did it cheaper and more efficiently than anyone else ever has. Professionally handled and completed. Will hire again.

We hired for a kitchen remodeling and we're very happy. Most of the contractors we spoke with on Angi were very professional. I use Angi for many of our projects including our backyard makeover. We used Alta Renovation for our kitchen and Atlantic for our backyard. Satisfied with both.

I was told my account would not be charged until work was done. I did not have work done because they did not send a licensed plumber. I then canceled by email. My Discover Card was still charged although no work was done and I had canceled services.

They did an excellent job. Wall repair was better than I could imagine! They cleaned up and put everything back in its place and the price was more than fair. Just all around good experience! And I am having Moss painting service come back to do more painting.

Angie's list and Home Advisor are predatory scammers of small businesses starting out. They hype you up as if they are going to be super helpful in finding you customers. They get you to sign up for an annual membership knowing that you can't cancel it and ensuring that they at least get some money out of you before they know you will cancel them due to their predatory lead scamming system. They will send you leads even when you tell them not to just to charge you for them. Then the leads they send have people on the other end who have no idea as to why you are calling them.

Yes I was lied and manipulated by Angi's ads. They don't verify people so some of the business or ads provided are scams and they don’t do nothing to help and protect the clients in receiving or getting ads also. The customer service is just below horrible and they have been revoked as a business in the BBB.

Angie's List is a great place to find contractors for everyone's needs. I will continue to look for references and contractors in the future. Thank you for this service. I will continue to work with this company in the future

The service provider came on time, cleaned up after himself and did an amazing job. I have not had the front walkway nor the back pavers at my house power washed in yeas and the were quite discolored. Now the front and back of my house look so much better... My neighbors have even made comments on how good it looks.

For the last two weeks I have been receiving phone calls from Angie's List. Both women and men keep calling and asking for Donna. I’m not Donna!!! It’s odd to me that you would continue to bother someone that does not want or need your services and that never signed up. This company has texted with and called me. I would never use Angi’s list after this! I assume their work is as good as their telemarketing…
