From the Angi site I selected Fosters Construction & Roofing. It was a great choice. Here is the review that we gave him. Our roof was replaced a few years ago was poorly done which has led to water leaks. Fosters arrived at the appointed time and found our problem. He came back the next morning and repaired it. He was very professional and we will definitely use him again and gladly recommend him to anyone.

They were very polite and helped when I'm a struggling mom of 3. I know nothing about water lines or anything like that so it made it really, really nice to be able to have someone polite fix it. Very happy with their service and the great work, even cleaned up after the service

Make a list of what you want done and how you want it done and she will take care of you. I highly recommend her. She pays attention to detail if you need it, Declutter and you give her direction she will get it done. She is a very quiet, personable, sweet lady. She has worked for me for many New Year’s.

BP Glass & Mirror responded quickly to our inquiry, set an appointment, and arrived promptly. After evaluating the project and knowledgeably discussing it, we received a written quote within an hour. A mere 8 days later they called to say the replacement glass was in and scheduled installation, which was accomplished this afternoon. Everything about working with BP glass has been a pleasure. The work was done quickly and efficiently with a quality product, and the cost very reasonable (especially considering that another company had quoted more that 50% more, but then declined the job because they didn’t work on the brand of door we have). I highly recommend Mario and BP Glass & Mirror, and thank Angi for helping us get in touch with them.

They are honest, knowledgeable, dependable, hard working and left my place very clean. Fairly priced for the job they completed. They had to use a jackhammer in a few places to be able to properly bury the pvc pipe. They completed the job in a very timely manner.. I highly recommend!

Even though I requested 4 proposals, only 2 companies submitted bids; however, Arce Tree Service was the company I was looking for. They did a superlative job. I'm completely satisfied with the entire Angi experience. I like the reworking of the website. I will definitely use Angi again for my next project.

Booked an electrician to change motion detector lights outside my house. Put in requirement that electrician needs a ladder about 20'. Took off work. Electrician showed up without a ladder so had to leave. Angi rescheduled him for the following Friday. Took off work again. Electrician never showed up. His phone number is disconnected. Angi obviously does NOT vet the contractors they recommend. Total ripoff service!!!

What a joke. They have cancelled the install of a fan twice. Nothing like planning a day and getting delayed but now twice. I would not recommend them to clean a toilet. I'm going to complain to Lowe's too. That's who contracted them.

They will blow your phone up until you sign up making lots of promises. They sell leads that are recycled even though they settled a class action lawsuit last year. Still trying to get a refund. Much better lead generation choices.

Jeff ** is an excellent resource for those wanting the highest quality of work in their homes. Jeff is also extremely trustworthy. We have left him in the care of our home and our dogs without reservation. Our home is a new home requiring many adjustments in all areas relating to handyman work. We intend to ask Jeff to remain with us until all is completed. Other work is not typically that of a handyman. In these atypical areas, Jeff has proven to be an expert in even the most remote of tasks. We are so grateful for Jeff and are proud to recommend him to others.

This company victimizes both consumers and contractors. In addition to spamming the internet with obvious Angi or Home Advisor sites, they mislead consumers via websites that appear to be locally owned, family businesses unrelated to Angi. Small businesses can apparently post what appear to be their own websites (that are invisibly hosted on Angi's servers), but they can't include direct contact/phone information - only a website form. When you fill in the contact form for what you think is the local business, your information is captured by Angi (Home Advisor) and triggers them to throw other contractors at you (i.e., sell your information to these contractors). It is highly deceptive.

While long ago they may have been legitimate, honest, reputable, and helpful those days are long gone with whom ever bought them out. They mislead you, tell you subscribe as a member to their service, get a nice discount on the projects, charge you a fee that auto renews annually and you can cancel at any time. There is absolutely NO WAY to cancel your subscription once you log in, you go to manage membership which is where you would expect to find the place where you can cancel, but there is no option there to cancel. They have employed nefarious business practices such as this to keep you from being able to cancel your membership. Fortunately, I used a disposable temporary credit card to subscribe and then was able to close that card, which is the only way to end their subscription.

I signed up for a cleaning service from Angie's List. The first scheduled group NEVER appeared. I agreed to reschedule the cleaning for several days later and that person/service arrived 2 hours early and by the time I read their message, they were gone from my home. No cleaning service was ever provided. So at that point I called them to report the lack of service and to cancel the cleaning service from them. The first time a charge of $158.72 was eventually refunded, but was RECHARGED 2 weeks later supposedly because I had signed up for a renewing service. However, as far as I knew, I had canceled any service with them at any time.

We are happy with the results of the exterior painting. We would recommend to friends and want to hire Paulo for other work we are considering, kitchen floor Paulo is very polite and professional and got the job done quickly. He has a lot of experience and has good reviews.

House turned out great...They were on time ...Always busy and got job done ..Concerned about getting it done right..Very Polite and courteous..Hope to have them make repairs inside soon. They cleaned up before leaving each day ...Were prepared and ready to work..All the workers were interested in doing their job and making sure it was correct..

Driveway repair project involved great communication and flexibility from the company that we worked with. There were problems that came up during the project that no one could have anticipated. Driveway company worked well with us to complete the project. Very easy to work with and would recommend to a neighbor.

Had kitchen painted and my cabinets redone. Great results and so happy with my kitchen and cabinets. Highly recommend their services. Cost was very affordable for my budget. I was looking at installing new cabinets but cost was too expensive. This worked out perfect and I have a beautiful new kitchen.

We have 2 acres of property in Pinellas County with numerous Oak Trees, Palm Trees, etc. Tony and crew trimmed, shaped and dead wooded all our trees. The Oaks look beautiful, clean and shapely which greatly enhancing the look of our property. They did a thorough job and cleaned up all debris. I highly recommend Peninsula Tree Service.

Perry Brothers Construction is a quality, responsive company. I already completed a detailed review. I would highly recommend them for any construction job you need. They have done extensive work at my condo building and are currently renovating my camp from the bottom up. Their work is professional and exact. The employees are all respectful, responsible, efficient and neat.

Akean did work completely. Clean and neat. Left work area clean. Professional and friendly during work. Painting was done as needed. He came back to complete total project needed to be done. He showed me what was done to be sure it was done to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate in calling Akean for future work needed to be done.

I made an appointment to have work done at my home and later found out Angi only pays their subs $20.00 out of every $100.00 that you pay them when you book the appointment. I’m glad I chose to go another route and not contribute to slave labor! I canceled my appointment just in time!

Emerson did a phenomenal job, we were on a strict budget and like anything else, you get what you pay for, so we expected a decent job, better than what I could do, at least. Emerson blew our expectations by LEAPS and bounds. We honestly couldn't ask for anything better. Excellent communication skills, is prompt (important to me) and he came prepared, never left unless it was to eat. Our shower looks beautiful and my kitchen floor looks new. I would recommend Emerson to anyone and everyone. Thank you Emerson, I wish I had more work for you to do. You do amazing work. Keep it up!

I prefer to look at the complete menu before making a decision. This way I can see if coupons are available, read multiple reviews and see hours of operation. I feel much more comfortable with this selection process over submitting my project information and waiting for someone to call me.

I searched for a moving company and was promptly contact by Smooth Sailing Movers. Best experience ever! They were professional, personable, and performed the services I requested on time and on budget even though it was during the Androscoggin County mass shootings lockdown. They will do everything they can not to let you down. I Highly recommend this company?

They did exactly what was asked and everything turned out perfect. All corners were cut in perfectly the drywall was set correctly the electrical work was all put in right, and they cleaned up everything and wipe everything down when they were finished. I would recommend their services to anyone else in need of good honest work.

Leak was repaired without a major replacement. I can depend on ANGI for quality contractors doing an honest job. There is enough honest money to be earned without upselling or making up imaginary flaws and concocting stories to frighten homeowners into unnecessary repairs.

It was very easy to book. The communication was efficient. The main service I chose was painting. I received messages from various pros and obtained quotes from 3 within the week. Once I chose my pro it was easy to communicate using Angi's app or website on my desktop. Have also used for lawn service.

The service person came in and assessed the issues and recommended fixes. He gave us short term remedies and long term no worries going forward. Since my water heater was original to the home we went new. No worries going forward fixes. The service person made recommendations of the equipment, we purchased them and they were installed quickly and professionally. He even explained how to get a longer life out of the water heater. Great Job!!

The electrician was great and on time. Angi made it easy to find a good electrician fast. I would use both the electrician and Angi again. Angi is a good way to find a person for every job you need done in one place. You can find a worker for every job.

Do not use this company. They give costly, bad information. The information they take from you is not given to the professional, so the professional comes out or calls and says they don't do that kind of work. That happened to me yesterday. Then, on another job I requested today, I filled out the online form to have a ceiling fan repaired. I got a call right away from an Angi Representative who told me that a professional service would contact me shortly and provide a free estimate. 5 minutes later I got a text from a professional service. I was told they would come right out and give an estimate. He arrived and looked up at the fan, heard my description of the problem, then told me I owe $90 for the service call. He did no work, just heard my description.

1) Site very hard to give a review. 2) Kept telling me I had wrong email. 3) Took 2 hours to find company I wanted to write review for on your site. 4) When I sign into site, calls me "E", which has nothing to do with me. 5) Horrible, complicated web design. To be clear, I am referring to your site, not the contractor I used. I would give"-0", but your site won't let me.

Stephanie once again does the best job taking a fully trashed apartment unit and making it sparkle, ready for the next new tenant. She is great, understands what cleaning is. We look forward to having Stephanie assist us with all our unit turns at both communities we manage. If you need it done right have Stephanie take care of it for you.

Rather than using the tool to find a Pro based on my job, I would prefer to simply find reviews of contractors within my search criteria. And then I can make my own, educated decision. Forcing me to Search for a Pro based on job, zip code, etc... I DO NOT want anyone to reach out (contractor) but want to see previous reviews. Difficult to find.

From start to finish, my family's experience with Comfort Now was exceptional!! Starting with Casey the sales rep who answered our questions about the different options available to us(we utilized utility company rebates and financing) and Chelsea in the office who took care of scheduling. Joe, Anthony, Andrew, Matt, Bill, and Mike the install manager showed up on time and clearly took pride in their work.

I desperately need assistance and to the point where there is no where else to turn before I take legal action. I submitted a request (**) to Angi to repair a Hunter Douglas Honey Comb custom blind. The dimensions of the blind is approximately 14 ft long by 3 ft wide and every vendor I have contacted has stated this is custom replacement. The repair request submitted to Angi was to take the blind down, restring it, and then reattach the blind. This never happened.

David stated he arrive at a specific time and he arrived at that time. His craftsmanship is very well done. The deck now has a nice sloped edge around the deck. The deck was extended. Another 2 to 3 feet. The corners around the deck the tree stump and the pool are right on. David ** was very professional, very knowledgeable about the project.

Shane and Ashley did a fantastic job cleaning my gutters! They were extremely professional and very easy to work with. They were punctual and had the gutters cleaned in no time. I think I need some gutter repair soon so I will definitely be using them again! Would highly recommend this company.

Repaired broken mortar on flagstone patio which butts up to deck steps. Beautiful job. It looks like it's all new. Patio had to be pressure washed to remove dirt and mold that had formed in the broken joints. It was a big job but it turned out beautifully. The flagstone and adjoining deck steps are amazing. Great business!

I would appreciated Angie's Ads for their services and the Professional Companies they provide with their services. I would recommend Angie's Ads to anyone who’s looking for Professional Contractors. My experience was amazing and I would continue using Angies in the future. The company employees were so helpful, respectful and friendly.

This company harasses you with calls, I received calls for almost 5 years, and then they convince you with lies about how they proceed, they lie to you and steal your money, I do not recommend it and they never give a satisfactory resolution for the client, only the decisions benefit them economically. They sent me messages at 2 in the morning, and I had not even started my subscription and they charged me, after 3 days they did not want to give me a refund of my money and they charged me for those messages, I lost about $600.00 with them in 3 days.

He contacted me within 10 minutes. He came over right away to give me a quote. Built it in 2 days over a week. Quality is great, he knows what he is doing. He worked with me on a price. He gave me a small discount, and agreed to add screening for a decent price.

They do not vet candidates well...or at all. I filled out a form at the BBB (or at least thought I was at the BBB). Somehow started getting a lot of people who said they got my info on Angie's. Got one candidate with fraudulent license information. The license number they provided was not even in the correct format. With another company I had contact with four individuals. Three of them had civil judgements against them and one has been arrested five times in the last three years. In the future, if anyone tells me they got my name from Angie's, I will show them the door immediately.

Mr. ** was great! Mr. ** was well versed, professional, and experienced in regard to the work that was requested of him to repair my old basement ceiling. Stargate Lock Services sent repairman, Ezra, to fix my front door lock. Even though it was old, he was able to fix it and it now works perfectly. Ezra was punctual (he called to let me know he was on his way), professional and performed work in a timely fashion. I would definitely hire again if needed. Bubba's Dirt provided great customer service and efficient service when delivering my product to my house. They kept me in the loop in regards to the status of my delivery and once the driver showed up he was very flexible and dropped the product where I needed and wanted without a fuss. I would suggest a search feature by contractor name. It is difficult to find that when you go back in to give a review. I had to start a new project. Perhaps I am missing something, but I did not see a direct link to doing an eval. I think I spent about 10 to 15 minutes in the site just trying to do the eval..

Seems like a good idea to get a bunch of bids on a particular job, but do yourself a favor and google the service you are looking for yourself. Google companies in your area. I used "Angi" once and now I'm getting a zillion calls from companies way outside my area and the calls just keep on coming. At this point it's up to 30+ and still going. I've had 10 this morning alone, it's ridiculous. Never use "Angi" again. I I could give them zero stars, I would.

I hired Angi to assembly an office desk. The app and creation of the job was easy. Unfortunately, that was the only thing easy for this job. I arranged to be home for the 2-hour window assigned for assembly (which I agreed upon the time selected). I sat in my house for several hours waiting for the “Pro” as Angi calls them, to arrive. The Pro never showed up. I even texted and attempted to call the Pro. No contact.

Hi, I started a business with Angi Ads at the beginning of last month. At the beginning they (Daniella, and Otto) said me, "Everything will be perfect, you will be able to reach out to us 7x24, etc." I said, "Ok!" I started, and got around 10-15 jobs offer. I called,, messaged and called them again, and again. None of them is neither reachable nor did they return me. Then I quit working with Angi Ads, deleted the app, and tried to reach out to those guys above. It was impossible to reach them. At the end, nearly one month later they reached out to me for my missing payment! This is so unbelievable!

3 different appointments, at their convenience, to comply with our house cleaning request. No show on all of them with no communication as to why they cancelled. Finally attempted to explain that they had no one to take the job. Poor excuse. Should have known ahead of time whether of not they could complete the job. Would have given less than ZERO rating if possible. Will never use or recommend again.

I was very happy with the plumbing work that was done by Mr. Jason ** and would recommend his service to anyone else. He arrived, diagnosed the situation, explained what he say was the problem, showed it to me and explained how to fix it. He then got the parts and materials needed and resolved the plumbing issue.

Chris did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable and he is very good at what he does. He was on time every day. He is very hard worker and he cleaned up every day after he was done working. I would definitely use him again in the future. I highly recommend Chris if you need some work done in your home.

The initial online project creation was easy. From that point forward, it was a mess. 15 emails later and I had 1 professional schedule to quote me. I’d get an email saying you have a quote to review and it would just take me to an app that takes too long to load and the end result, “click to receive a quote from another company”. Why not take the information I supplied in the beginning and send it to pros for them to actually quote/contact me. Instead it’s another few steps for the me and in the end, through all those emails, 1 company provided a quote. Angi called everyday sometimes before I was awake. Even after cancelling a project, just opening the app triggered more phone calls. I have not enjoyed the experience.

Best cleaning service ever. I highly recommend using this service, they came on time and they made a great impression on me and my salon. I have clients today that love the new salon smell and they don’t use harsh chemicals. I can’t wait to book with these cleaning company again and you get what you money pays for. Needed a plumber so got in touch with Angi. Handyman comes to house shows up in BMW, a red flag. I ask, "Where your work van?" He says transmission went. So he goes upstairs to bathroom 40 min later comes back downstairs tells me he needed to go get part. The part was 180.00 he says so I cash app him 180.00 and he does not come back. I go upstairs to bathroom take photos sends to a real plumber. He breaks the Diverter so had to get a real plumber. They had to break wall to get to what was left of diverter. STAY AWAY FROM ANGI. And also I never got my 180.00 back.

Floors, bathrooms, counter, more, lots more. Also cleaned yard and tore out and removed. Painted rooms and laid carpet and hardwood flooring. Remodeled entire kitchen and replaced sink and stove and tiled around. Cleaned entire mess and was a blessing to me and my family. He pointed out ways to cut costs and added ideas that I had not thought about. I never really trusted anyone thinking they would inflate the cost. But they were transparent and above board in all their dealings.

I am writing you before filing a complaint with the Indiana Better Business Bureau in hope of resolving this satisfactorily. I had booked a service to have some plumbing work done in my home. When the "serviceman" arrived (1 hour and 40 minutes late), he was driving a personal vehicle with NO identification on it. I asked him who he worked for and he said "Angi". He was wearing no uniform nor did he have any visible identification. I asked him if he was a licensed plumber and he said "no". I immediately called Angi and told them I did not want a non-licensed person performing plumbing work on my home. I asked the Angi representative if I could send him away and they consented.

I was able to find several pros in my area. A few were booked out and couldn't make it to me for a quote for a couple of weeks, but I found someone to come same-day and do the repair same-day. It was a great help. No more leaking roof.

I often just want to check the ratings of certain local providers. It's become difficult to get directly to ratings. I don't want to described a project and get quotes, etc. Frankly, it's quicker to go to Google and Yelp first. This ratings info should be more accessible, especially to subscribers.

Angi had a masonry company contact me for a job I needed done at my home. The guys they gave my contact information to were thieves. They were paid in full, then left without completing the job. Numerous texts and phone calls without response. Took the money and ran. Address on website is bogus. No way to get in touch with them. Tried to get Angi to help with resolution and was given the runaround. Angi does not vet these contractors and customer service reps do not want to escalate. Beware, I am out about $6,500 due to con men they gave my phone number to.

I am an Angi's contractor, for "Angi Services." I can tell you that the entire business model, right down to binding arbitration, is a giant fraud ring. Not one thing, from the acceptance of customer jobs, to the payment of the contractor, is legit. For one, in no event, does Angi get on the phone with its pros. I use "Pros" loosely, because I've seen so many jobs before I arrived that another Angi's pro was there before, messed up the customer job, plumbing, electrical and so on, but never told us, it's really bad. Angi's routinely puts out jobs for pros to take from what's available in your service area. I'd say 90% are jobs, no one will take. For example, $80 to build a shed, even pre-fab, it's a 2-3 person job, worth $600. Another example, putting together grills, hanging TV's (mounting) and putting together furniture, for less than $20.

Igor ** was on time, he had all his tools, done everything with accuracy and perfection, he is a man of his word. Igor did my kitchen backsplash, lighting fixtures in my kitchen and hallway and connected my disposal to the electrical panel. He was neat, and tidy, and cleaned up after.

Excellent work!!! Colin and his crew are very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends or neighbors and especially family. The price was fair and honest and the work was done professionally and in a timely manner. From the very first call customer service was excellent. I spoke with April and she took excellent care of me and assisted me with scheduling that was convenient to me and the team. Communication was key in the process and I was kept informed every step of the way.

So far so good in identifying professionals for the various home repair jobs. The companies have responded promptly. Would appreciate free estimates from identified companies. It's costly to get estimates from at least 3 companies when most want a fee for estimates on potential work to be done. Would appreciate better pricing, especially for seniors...perhaps offer discounts for seniors.

Prompt, professional and polite. Completed in a very timely manner. Highly recommend them... I will be hiring them again for future projects. Excellent communication. Had no problem when it came to moving and protecting my furniture during the process, and moved it back into place when the job was completed. Price for the project was very reasonable.

This has been an absolute joke. I have been a customer of 4 years and never loved the leads or the volume of leads. When I tried to close my account, I called my "rep" and he never called back. I left Ken ** my personal cell number to call me. When he never called, I spoke to their call center. They claimed his supervisor would call me. He never did. Ken then continues to call my office, which I am never at. He is now sending snarky emails about my "contract" and what it means to close the account. I will now be canceling all my Angi accounts including leads due to the poor customer service and lack of care for the customer.

Angi turn me on to a pro. They came and redid my driveway. Done a great job. I would use these guys again. They are hardworking people, they clean up after the job and made sure I was happy with the job. Great work in a timely manner, please use these guys.

Although I found an excellent painter on Angie's List, the bulk of the respondents didn't know how to respond promptly or be able to give any accurate estimates. It was frustrating to deal with so many who were not trained in being able to respond to customer needs. If there is a way to screen suppliers that would help.

I was contacted many times over a year to join and was promised new leads. In just 1 week noticed a problem promised again that I would be taken care of. 2nd week the same thing. Bad leads and being charged for them. Out of all the leads sent to me I was only able to speak to 3 people with only 1 quote given. Then they stole my money when asked for them not to charge me for non vetted leads. Asked for credit back and that was not even given. No way out of the leads I was given that anyone should be charged. They are stealing from hard working people who trust them to help grow their company. Run away from them as fast as you can.

We had a new service installed. We had new smart lighting installed, and four ceiling fans. He also ran Service out to my shop and install plugged in switches and light. We also had him install landscape lighting. He also installed on the service box a surge protector. We also had new plugs installed outside. He also installed floodlights ground level to show off our trees.

Andreassi Masonry expertly repaired a very badly damaged walkway extending from the sidewalk to our front door. The work was exceptional, particularly because the crew--obviously very skilled!--raised and leveled sections of the walkway that had sunk an inch or two into the ground, so that the entire walkway is now perfectly even. The cost was very fair (at the completion of the work I attempted to pay a little more, but my offer was declined.) My wife and I can affirm from many years of home ownership that Andreassi Masonry work is excellent in every way!!

Service was very very friendly.. explained to her what was needed and a specific time.. JOB WELL DONE.. They were on time, did a spectacular to my surprise.. The price was very affordable and was pleased with the cleaning. I have used Angi for several projects around my house and with the exception of one, they have all been great. I enjoy the fact that I can find just about any kind of professional I need for the job at hand. The prices are great and the people that I have used, again with the exception of one, I would recommend to my friends and family.

Gas smell and leaking toilet. The plumber came and tightened the toilet bolts in the tank of toilet and at the base, then caulked the base of the toilet, the plumber was very professional and polite, time will tell! I would use them again, very professional. Very polite Thanks A lot.

I never used Angi before and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the service. Angi lead me through a simple yet thorough process ensuring I received the desired responses. First response came in within the hour and the respondent proved to be a consummate professional. From submitting my request to completion of the job took less than four hours!

They were great they showed up on time and did the job and cleaned up everything after. I would hire them again for more work. I was planning on having the come clean my house every 2 weeks. I love that they can do anything.

ANGI and HOME ADVISOR are horrible businesses that charge local contractors way too much money, which in turn raises the fees they have to charge you. Contact and get quotes directly from the contractors. Search the web for options. When you sign into Angi, they sell your project, name number, and email to 3-6 contractors who then RACE to contact you. They have already paid $$ for your information. They then need to get more $$$ out of you. Angi walks away with 6x$$ for doing nothing. and 5 contractors are out $$. Boo Hoo that's business you say? Is it good business when the cost of sales for small local contractors ranges from 40-70% of the job? Is it good business when these small contractors fail and all of a sudden you have no choice but to use a large expensive firm or no firm at all? Is it good business when you get inundated with calls and emails?

Clean as feathers. Did an amazing job cleaning my house!! When I got home it felt like a brand new house!! Definitely recommend this team!! The experience is a 5 star. They are very professional!! Cleaned in a decent time manner! No complaints whatsoever. I will be calling them back!!

Angi is a fraud both ways. When my husband signed up he received 10 links to send to friends and family to write fake positive reviews. Now that he is on, it’s been 2 weeks and he has not made a penny. He paid $450 a month for leads. All the leads led to nothing. It’s a yearly contract and we can’t get out of it. Currently disputing with cc company. Stay away!

Pro didn't reach out to me before the appointment. Texted him after the scheduled time and didn't hear back. Contacted Angi's support after 30 minutes and the first agent kept asking me if I was in contact with the pro and how to contact him after I had already informed him that I texted the pro. The pro then arrived 45 minutes after the start of the appointment and didn’t have what was needed to get the job done. The second agent then made me reschedule my appointment just so I could cancel the appointment. Update: got a text about rating the pro. The text asked to provide more information to an email address. The email address then said they don’t monitor it anymore.

I have been having problems with raccoons getting into my attic. Ed, from Venture REIG LLC came and evaluated the roof and siding and gave me a good estimate. They came to do the work sooner than I thought they would and was very effective and efficient. I’m very pleased with their work.

Twice I asked Angi to send cleaners who had vacuum cleaners. The first one just had a broken pro vac plus he broke the my sink stopper and although he wanted my business as handyman he didn't fix it. The second cleaner had nothing and said she didn't read Angi. It took me a half plus repeating myself to get the chat help to listen. Don't waste your time.

Called Kingz Cleaning September 11th. Asked if they could sanitize and disinfect my mother's home and do some general cleaning like washing the walls and cleaning the floors. I also asked if he would remove brush and what she did and he also disinfected the porch and I didn't even ask and before he left he made sure everything was nice and tidy and my mom was satisfied and I was satisfied and when it wouldn't even take the money until we were also. From the moment you walked in they had foot sanitizers on and breathing mask. Very very respectful.

I purchased a ceiling fan from Lowe's on August 14th 2023. Lowe's contracted Angis on August 14th and a Company Named Mark's Homework Inc took the job and on August 21st I received an email and text at Midnight that due to problems with Mark's Homework that they had to reschedule. Okay every one has problems. The next Company took it and would be there a few days later. Needless to say in all fairness this ceiling fan is 30 feet high. After 5 more Companies took the job and canceled last minute I contacted the Better Business Bureau. What happens next will shock you. After the BBB got involved the whole thing changed after another cancelation Angie's List started calling and apologizing. They were gonna make this right. So a lady Named Melissa called me from Atlanta Georgia this morning and says she is gonna send a Company to asses the job tomorrow at 3pm. Wow I'm excited.

Angi sent us a technician to clean the range hood and they charged us $245. The job took longer and they want us to pay more. We found out that they paid the technician $125 ($40 per hour) and want to charge us $85 for the additional hours. What a scam!

Air conditioner compressor stopped working. Contacted Sea Coast and scheduled a technician to check the A/C out. Eric F. was sent to the house in a couple of hours. He troubleshot the unit and determined the problem. He repaired the unit and checked the unit for proper operation which was in good shape. Total time to trouble shoot and make repairs approx 45 minutes. House is cool now. Good Service and highly recommend Sea Coast and Eric F. for A/C repairs

I contacted Angi for a Vinyl fence and Outside shed to be put up. Angi sent me 5 people between both projects that were licensed professionals, didn't assembled properly and damaged my property TWICE! I had to threatened to report to Consumer Financial Bureau and BBB in order to receive a full refund and be paid for the damages which I haven't received yet! Angi will take payment from your credit card knowing the project wasn't completed or not done properly, and if you don't follow up to get a refund, Angi will NOT say ANYTHING! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE ROBBING PEOPLE!

I want to thank Angi for putting me in touch with Angel who did a great job to complete my tree removal needs in Bristow, VA. I would highly recommend Angi and Angel. Once I put my request in, I immediately started to receive responses from Angi which very helpful. Thanks again for all the support and information.

Hello it's Don, I got an email from Angie List to tell my experience with my contractor, Mr ** is someone you can trust, so I am happy to help him, because he's a professional contractor with excellent customer service. I like to help people, how to choice a pro, and make easier the process of their new construction projects.

In June, I contacted Angi to do a deep clean on my house prior to having relatives staying and my daughter's graduation party. During the conversation with the booker we discussed what would be included such as oven cleaning and interior windows as well as a full house cleaning. I mentioned at the time that I had dogs. They charged me more than $400 which is $250 more than my regular cleaner who was unavailable that week.

With the service provider now the paying customer instead of the consumer, the quality of the referrals has severely degraded. Now they have to resort to stealth websites like PowellandSons (dot) com that pose as a local company. I intentionally avoided Angi and HomeAdvisor, but got calls, email, and texts from them anyway after submitting an inquiry on the above site that implied it was a local company. Very shady tactics Angi. I used them regularly in my business 10 years ago when I had a paid account. I stopped using them when I no longer could pay for my account and the referrals started to be mostly inexperienced wannabes. Good contractors and service providers don't need to pay Angi.

I went to Lowe’s about getting some toilets installed. I purchased the toilets and some other items needed for the install. Afterwards I was contacted by Angi that a contractor would contact me in the next couple days about the install. I got a few more emails from Angi but the contractor never contacted me. The day before the scheduled install I thought I better call the contractor to verify the install. The contractor told me he told Angi he wasn’t doing the job and would not be here. Angi never contacted me or tried to reschedule the job with someone else. They are very unreliable.

I was skeptical about using Angi. But I put in my search and within an hour a contractor called me. He came by and gave me an estimate. I hired him to do the job. He was wonderful! I will use Angi again. Thank you Angi for helping me find the right company for the job.

Angi is a complete rip off. I ordered something off of Wayfair and paid approximately $800.00 for the assembly of a shed. 2 people were supposed to come and only 1 person came. Then my pro needed more time to fix the shed and he called them and they told him they were not going to pay him. I had to call Angi myself and request they extend his hours and pay him. Fixing the shed is a 2 man job. He took his time and he was very nice but I will never use Angi again. On top of paying $800 for assembly they only pay their workers $12 an hour. Such a rip off. 1 person did a 2 man job and got paid close to nothing. Wayfair needs to separate from Angi immediately.

Jose ** was of a lot of help because he show me the different material and how they can fit. Explain everything. They speak Spanish. For that reason I understood everything perfect.

I am reviewing a super expensive nightmare. Due to the previous owners, I desperately needed to have my pool cleaned. I booked with Angie a reputable cleaner named Clemente. Clemente arrived at my house on the scheduled day, claiming that someone had stolen all of his equipment, and I had to book another professional. The whole situation felt surreal. I asked Clemente if I could record his statement, and he agreed. When I called customer care, I was met with skepticism regarding the story I was telling, and I was forced to send the video as proof. They sent another cleaner, Leith, who turned out to be a super expensive nightmare.

Received three calls within an hour of posting my request. All of the plumbers were courteous. Two were anxious to replace the hot water heater rather than service it. The third plumber recommended a simple service for now and a future modification to extend the life of the water heater. When I asked for an estimate to replace the hot water heater, his was the lowest estimate. As homeowners, we still have to do our own due diligence and understand the reason behind recommendations, but Angi is a great place to connect with trade people and service people.

Aaron did an excellent job and was very quick with his repairs. The price was very reasonable and I would definitely use his services again. We already discussed future work for him to do at my residence. I enjoyed talking to him while he was performing the work I needed done. I’m very happy with his work.

Angi was extremely helpful in locating a painter (ProFinish Renovations) that was able to start immediately and complete the interior rooms and bathrooms in just two days with high quality and professional results. We were unable to locate a local painter that could paint the interior before we moved into our new home. Angi not only located an outstanding painter who was fast with high quality results, but was completed within two days. Highly recommend Angi.

Zero stars. I needed some windows replaced. Angi sent 2 guys in a van with a ladder. The Pros as Angi called them, showed up with no tools. I had to loan the so-called pro all the basic tools needed for the job. The pro left a mess and broke my window. Angi has done nothing to make this right. We have had several emails and phone conversations with them about getting my window fixed. All you get from Angi is a person who has no knowledge of what is involved and only reads from a prepared statement over and over again. The Pro has caused more damage than the original job. The job was $479.00 and the damage created by the pro is over $ 700.00. Everyone should be aware that if something goes wrong, Angi will not stand behind their work!!

We used Angi to get a pro install our EV charger and the guys used my tools without asking, took the battery from one of drills, took one of the pieces that came with my EV charger, a brand new outlet that we bought for another project and failed to provide a receipt from the items that he purchased for the project. I am here to say that I deeply regret seeking help through Angi and I most certainly will never ever do it again.

Tinted sliding glass patio door! Really kept the afternoon sun out and lowered overall room temperature. Also less frequent air conditioner running which I know will be visible in power bill! If you need a cooler room get SunBlockers to tint your window or sliding glass doors! You’ll be happy you did!

Schedule a time for the service & completed the job on time. Staff was professional & did a great job. Price was affordable for the service that was being performed. I will definitely use the company again in the future. I have already recommended the company to one of my family members for tree service.

This is a review based on my experience as a Pro for 2 months. The service sends Pros "warm" leads, that's what they call them. After making multiple attempts at these leads via text, email and phone most people do not return your call. You are then charged anywhere from $100 to $156 for those bogus leads. You can request a refund but after a certain amount of refunds you are denied. Any Pro looking to start a business should stay away from subscribing to this service. Your time and money is better spent on other means of generating clients. I've spent around 2k trying to win jobs and have gotten zero contracts.

So nice to have such a valuable and reliable resource for homeowners. As a homeowner I feel I could trust Angie's List's contractors for work that needs to be done. Thank you for providing a valuable resource. Suffice it to say I think Angie's List rocks.

Throughout May 2023 I researched multiple vendors & purchased multiple services through Angi. Interior painting & drywall repair, cleaning, ceiling fan installation, power washing & front door repairs. 90% of my experiences were awesome. High quality professionals, high quality work and very communicative. I had one vendor that was a no-show and another that had to come back several times, but overall, the work performed through Angi helped me to obtain the best possible value for my home sale. I’ll always come back to Angi whenever I need handy work completed.

Gotcha Covered was very professional and prompt. Highly recommended. A pleasure to work with. The cost of our blinds was comparable to other vendors. I have another another 6 windows to do and I will call them when I am ready. My motorized roller shades have worked perfect from day one. When I needed assistance with charging they were there to help me.

It was a very good experience. Right from the start Mr. Earl Raby of Raby Construction showed that he is a person of his word. He met with me and my family to assess what all needed to be done concerning my roof. he wrote out a proposal/contract. He went over it with us, I agreed and signed it. He said what day they would start. and on that day, Mr. Raby and his team was at my house bright and early that morning. They started working right away. Mr. Raby and his team was very respectful, very polite, they greeted me with a smile, and very neat. They cleaned up all of the debris related to the roofing job plus some. He answered all of my questions in a timely manner. My roof looks GREAT and there are no more LEAKS. YAY!!!

I am a home owner who needed some HVAC work done and I tried Angi for the first time. I am here to say that I deeply regret seeking help through Angi and I most certainly will never ever do it again. They don't give you the contact info of appropriate businesses wherein allowing you to control the conversation (like Yelp does), instead they post your job to an indiscriminate number of their contracting members who then one after another call you endlessly from that point forward. The only way to try to get them to stop calling is to call Angi, wait on hold, then tell them your project is completed and "to close this request" and request for them to add your number to their do not call list. Calling Angi to be removed took exactly 19:02 minutes of my life that I cannot get back. I hope that the calls stop now.

I signed up for the app and thought it would be an easy way to organize my next project. I had no idea I would immediately be called by around 70 companies a day, despite trying to get on the do not call list through Angi customer serives. I literally may need to change my phone number.

Had a great smooth process with having my home’s exterior and interior repainted, and having my kitchen backsplash with subway tiles and having a new granite countertop installed. Everything looks well done! And I’m very satisfied with the whole process, the workers were professional and polite and did a very good job.

I had my family room ceiling drywalled and repainted. The experience through Angie was excellent. The recommendations were perfect for my needs. She has a whole plethora of pros to choose from. I have used other companies but Angi always comes to my rescue. Her pros are always so polite, professional and they always clean up after the job is done.

Spray on installation went well. They worked in 105 degrees. Was there early and went right to work. Was business and friendly. It toke three days. Got some outside help which was very nice. They all worked hard and got the job done. Looks good. I didn't take pictures for I can't climb the ladder. But they did and showed me want it looked like. Everyone can always do better but them were great people.

I used to use Angie's list back in the day as a reliable source for good help. I needed an electrician to wire up a new EV charger in my garage and thought I'd give Angi a shot. Turns out they sent over a handyman, not an electrician who messed around in my breaker box & then announced he could not do the job. I contacted Angi via their chatbot & eventually got to a human via chat. They refunded my money & I was content until the following day when my pool filter wasn't working. It turns out Angi's guy disconnected my pool filter from power and I had to get an electrician to come out & repair the damage he did. I complained to Angi's customer service, but they said that since they'd refunded my money, there was nothing they could do. Just pitiful customer service.

We purchased a toilet from Lowe's, and set up the installation through them. Apparently, they used Angi to assign an installer for us. It was an unmitigated disaster, and we ended up having to get a refund for the installation from Lowe's and get a REAL plumber to come out and set right what Angi's installer bungled — which was the entire installation. First of all, I had requested that we have old toilet removed and hauled away. The installer arrived in a little sedan, and he had no means to haul the toilet. When bringing the new one in, I offered to help him lug it since we'd just had our hardwood floors refinished at a not inexpensive price. He declined my offer and then managed to scuff up a large portion of the hallway floor just outside the bathroom. Once he had the toilet in place, he quickly left with no word or paperwork to sign.

This company preys on all of their contractors. A customer will need something done and they will contact up to 5 contractors. Angi will charge a fee to up to 5 contractors and only 1 may get the job. In my case I paid $836 for leads from Angi and 80% never even responded to the initial contact and 10% wanted same day service even though my profile says I do not offer same day service. If you are a contractor do not sign up to use them. If you are a customer needing work do not support a company that at minimum is a very very bad company.

I have nothing good to say about this company. Unethical “pros”, worthless script, reading “customer service.” Run away. Do your research and hire actual companies. Don’t waste your time with Angie’s List.

It was an absolutely excellent moving experience for us. We will use Mpyre again and again without hesitation. It was absolutely more than a relief to turn our moving frustrations over to Mpyre. This company took our frustration out of moving. Its organization, professionalism and speed was brilliant. An excellent company. We could not have asked for more. I contracted with David ** to refinish my badly worn kitchen floors. He did a rare thing - a perfect job. He and his team came on time. They set up the job in such a way that not a speck of wood dust escaped the work area. The refinishing job was perfect (and I am somewhat picky). Their clean-up was also perfect. Nothing more to say except to repeat that this was a perfect job. No.

We purchased a mattress through Wayfair and requested their haul-away service through Angi. At the time of the service, the pro called asking what needed to be picked up. He was surprised to learn that it was a mattress and box spring. When he arrived in his small sedan, I understood why: he had no way of transporting the mattress. So he went away, and three hours later returned with shrink wrap, fastened the mattress and box spring to his car, and took it away. Since we had to wait around the house most of the afternoon for him, I gave the service a three-star review on Angi, specifying that the pro wasn't the problem, but that someone should have let him know what he was removing so he was prepared.

Amica provided excellent service. Cleaning and organizing was outstanding. I highly recommend this service. I will definitely use this again. I am very pleased with the results. Organized items in one of my bedroom so it is no longer cluttered. I am very pleased. I am anxious for the next project to call Amica.

I found a website which looked like it was for a specific Concrete Contractor and filled out their form to contact me. What actually happened was that that it enrolled my project on Angi, without my consent. After that I kept receiving a ridiculous number of calls and people showing up at my house to give me estimates. What a nightmare! This company is very deceptive about getting your information. This seems illegal.

J&S did a great job of moving furniture and boxes from basement to an apartment. They showed up on time, were quick and didn’t waste time. And they were respectful of items being moved. I would hire them again. My job took less than 2 hours but was charged their 3 hour minimum fee.
